Written by MidnightAngel As she walked into the gloomy cave, shivers went down her spine. Something about this place didn't feel right. Maybe is was the air that made everything feel so eerie. Maybe it was the silence feel of the air, or maybe it was the unrelenting heat. As Luna proceeded down the through the cave, a barely audible echo pricked Luna's ears up. "Lunaaaaa...." Luna cringed at the sound of the sickly sweet voice, and she started to half-gallop back to the entrance of the cave. A giggle suddenly surrounded Luna. "Oh please don't gooooo... I like you, don't you like me?" Luna turned her back towards the entrance, and stopped. A bright blue light slowly emerged from Luna's horn. "Show yourself!" Luna cried. "Why would I want to show myself if you already know who I am?" A shadow appeared on the wall of the cave, and it started galloping towards Luna. She tried to turn around. But her hooves stayed rooted to the floor. "What's happening? Why can't thy move!" Luna pulled and pulled at her hooves, but no matter what happened, she wouldn't budge. Finally the ground beneath her cracked, and in an instant all of her hooves had dug themselves out of the ground. "Awww..I wanted to play a game!" The once sweet voice had now turned into a vicious snarl. Everything started to turn black, as Luna slowly turned around. Infront of her, a shadowy figure emerged. It got closer and closer. "SURPRISE!" 10:00am Luna awoke with a start. Sweat trickled down her forehead as she stared up at the ceiling. Another nightmare. Again. Every night, Luna had thought that she had finally escaped the grasp of the horrible nightmares from the Tantabus, but it seemed as if every night it was seeping back into her sleep. The past few nights had been very rude to Luna, because they never allowed her to get some quality rest. She hadn't even seen the sun in a few days, neither her sister. The only thing that she had seen was her beautiful moon, washing over Equestria. Lately her sister had been in so much stress, that she had refused to even let the sun rise. So Luna had let her sister carry on inside her bedroom, without ever speaking, or looking at each other. But she remained to wonder, why? Why did Celestia refuse to come out and see her own sister? Was she to tired? Or did she not enjoy company inside the castle? Determined or not, Luna thought that she should go and check on her sister. Maybe after another cosy five minutes.... Her sleepy eyes stared out through her window, looking at all the marvelous castle towers, looming over the beautiful streets of Canterlot. Her ears pricked up. Suddenly, a blood curdling scream echoed through the castle halls. I may just be imagining things. As she tried to go back to sleep, another terrifying scream bounced of walls, yet this time it didn't sound like it was coming from Luna's mind. She trotted quietly towards her bedroom door, and pressed her ear against it. If it was a real scream, it sounded like it was very close. To close. As Luna pushed the door open, she peered into the pitch black hallway and stared at her sister's bedroom. Another scream, coming from Celestia's room, was yet again sent down the halls, so far that it awoke most of the nearby guards. The guards moaned and mumbled as they all stood up from their five minute naps. The unsuspecting group of guards walked up to the bedrooms, whilst fiddling with their flashlights. Luna saw them approach, and informed them about Celestias screams. Or maybe it wasn't Celestia. No pony knew what what coming. As the guards, including Luna, made their way up to the bedroom, they slowly and carefully nudged the door open. Luna's jaw dropped open, and her eyes widened. A faint trail of hoof prints were made out from the moonlight, leading to a now open window. But that was on the least of her worries. Something else was nagging at her. Something that scared her the most. Her sister was gone. 11:00am Celestia stumbled towards the nearest alleyway. She didn't want anyone to see her at this time of the night. Or was it the day? Where was the Princess to raise the sun? She knew that she was just a normal pony among all the others in Canterlot. Apart from the fact that she doesn't remember anything about herself. She doesn't even remember where she lived, or how old she was. Even though she was clueless about herself, Celestia reassured her mind that she was a normal pony. But she honestly didn't know. How could she not remember who she was? How come her memories have escaped from her grasp? All she had remembered was waking up inside a bedroom. It was scary, not knowing where you were. Even if you woke up inside a random bedroom. She had climbed out of the bedroom, and come here, to try and fi her home. But where was her home? Her mind filled with questions as she sat down on the cold and bare concrete. As she looked down at the puddle infront of her, she closely inspected her reflection, realising that she was a unicorn. It was weird, realising that she's actually a unicorn. She stared at her freely flowing mane, sparkling in the moonlight. Was she actually someone special? She now looked upon her body, and strained her eyes to see what she truly was. She saw a pair of neatly folded wings on her back. She was an ....alicorn? Taking in all this newly found information, she rested her head against the wall behind her, closing her eyes. Whilst she was thinking of any kind of memory about herself, a sickening image flashed in her mind, her eyes widening and darting back and forth, realising what information she had found. Luna. A mare called Luna. She now remembered Luna as her sister. She was once a happy and playful sister, but that happiness into anger, anger into hate. She had turned into nightmare moon and tried to kill Celestia. This, image of Luna trying to kill her only meant one thing. This is what her life had been like. Since this was the only memory she had ever had, and she had to stick with it. Luna had tried to kill Celestia. And it would be of her to return the favour. A malicious grin spread across Celestia's face. She was going to kill Luna and watch her suffer. She was going to torture Luna. But first, she had to set up a little game to play.
