They thought she was jealous and protective of her brother but they were dead wrong and now she's gone. Ever since they left in that room she's been gone. For 3 long years & now with a new threat they need her now more then ever.

The wedding is saved and the Changelings are beat but Twilight is gone. She's been gone for 3 years and now an evil organization of advanced robots called "Treble" who seek to destroy Equestria has arrived. Trixie Lulamoon the new element of magic must help the others defend their home meanwhile Cadence believes Treble is somehow connected to Twilight's disappearance and will find her no matter what.

Chapter 3 Royal Rescue

Author's Notes:

My first chapter is chapter 3 because this a continuation of the fan fiction of the same name by Dark Colt Sabata. I put a link so you can find it but here's a quick recap, Twilight's friends ignored her at the royal wedding as well as acted mean towards her. The Changelings are still beat but Twilight is gone and is missing for 3 years, Cadence and Shining Armor get married anyway but Cadence is still determined to find Twilight. Trixie is the new element of magic who helped defeat Airman whose army retreats upon his defeat, but a piece of him falls off which is a monitor showing Twilight trapped.

The Crystal Empire was usually a place of great beauty but not today. Just like every major city in Equestria it has been attacked by an army of robots working for the organization Treble. However the ponies of the Crystal Empire weren't as defenseless as the robots made them out to be. In their victory over the army many buildings were destroyed and many ponies hospitalized, but none were killed. The ponies not hurt helped those hurt recover, and help repair the damage, and clean up the robot remains.

"How many more of these things are left to clean up?" Asked Princess Mi Amore Cadenza but she prefers Cadence as she was dragging away what was left of a robotic elephant.

"We're about halfway done," answered Shining Armor Prince of the Crystal Empire and her husband. He was dragging a beat up white and orange robot with scissors on it's head. The robot that called itself Cut Man put up a fight with the prince but in the end he was no much for Shining's magic, who shot a magic beam so strong it took off half of Cut Man's face.

"PRINCESS CADENCE PRINCE SHINING ARMOR!" The royal couple turned around fast to see one of their royal guards running towards them. A stallion without crystal like skin who had been with the guard for a few years. One of his front legs was carrying some kind of monitor. "You have to take a look at this," He said as he reached them and he hoofed it over to Cadence who saw a lavender unicorn crying while locked in a cage.

"TWILIGHT!" Princess Cadence screamed as she grabbed the monitor and flew off. She was tickled pink to see that the library was still okay, or pinker since her coat was already pink. She didn't hesitate one second to fly right in scaring the librarian and several ponies helping her place robot parts a pile. A small group of robots managed to enter the library but they didn't get far, that librarian as it turns out has a mean left hook.

"What in the world was that about?" One of the Crystal Ponies helping asked.

"I'm not sure," the librarian answered. "But I'm gonna find out." The librarian walked over to Cadence as she was looking for a certain book and along with an entire map of Equestria, she found it.

"Right where I left them." Cadence then made her way to a table. Carrying the 3 items with magic then set them down on the table first the map followed by the monitor still showing Twilight and the book as she then turned it to a certain page showing a certain spell. "Finally after 3 years I can bring you home and make up for what I did." The librarian saw that her princess seemed very busy and decided not to ask what she was doing. However just then Shining Armor came through the doors and found his way to Cadence.

"Cadence what's are you doing what's this about Twilight?" Shining Armor asked somewhat loud but not too loud to get some heads turning at him. Cadence didn't answer but instead used her magic to cause a small red spike to appear then it moved around in the air on it's own. After a few seconds it landed near the edge of the map the badlands an area almost outside of Equestria.

"That's where she is!" Cadence said with sheer excitement.

"Cadence can you please tell me what's going on?" Shining Armor asked wanting to know where Twilight is just as much as she does.

"Okay," Cadence answered. "But let's head back to castle first I need to get a few things."

Back at the castle Shining Armor was very eager to learn the recent information about his sister however Cadence had her focus on other things. She kept gathering items but finally stopped to put them all in a saddle bag. "There that should do it," Cadence said as she finally stopped moving around. "That's all the supplies I'll need."

"Cadence?" Shining Armor said feeling as though he was invisible. "Are you going to talk to me at some point?"

"Oh sorry Shining Armor I just wanted to get ready."

"Ready for what?" Shining Armor asked who at the moment looked like was going to pop right out of his coat.

Cadence closed her eyes and then took a deep breath. "We should sit down first," Cadence said as she took her own advice and walked towards the table and sat down then Shining Armor did the same. "First of all you know what a crystal ball is right Shining Armor?"

Shining Armor was a bit shocked by the randomness of the question but still quickly responded all the same. "Yes, it shows you the thing or pony you're looking for."

"Right, however the problem is they only show you image of whatever you're looking for and not where it is or in this case where she is. Another problem is that whenever I used those none of them worked for some reason." Cadence then cleared her throat as she clearly had a lot to say. "About a year and a half ago I found a spell that can give me a specific location shown to me by things like a magic mirror or crystal ball can show me." Cadence then looked over to the map that the spike was put on she used earlier to show and not tell that's what she was doing before hoof.

"So you're saying that if I lost something and I used a crystal ball to show me it I could use that spell then it would show the exact area it is in?" Shining Armor asked a bit confused but hoping he understood.

"Yes that's exactly what it means," Cadence said.

Shining Armor then stood up in absolute excitement. "SO YOU KNOW WHERE TWILY IS!" He said not caring who heard him as he danced around a bit.

"Yes," Cadence said rather calmly "After 3 long years I can finally bring Twilight home."

Shining Armor then stopped his little dance to turn around and face Cadence. "We? Don't you mean us?"

"No," Cadence said rather firmly. "This is something I have to do alone. I need you to stay here and watch over the Crystal Empire."

"Then why don't you stay here while I go to the place where Twilight is being held?"

"No I'm an alicorn I can fly there so it won't be as long for me as it would if you went."

"You can't go fly to the other end of Equestria!"

"I'll take a train to Dodge Junction then fly to the Badlands."

"Twilight is my sister!" Shining Armor said starting to get mad. "I need to find her and tell I'm sorry for all the horrible things I said. I may have been under Chrysalis's control but I was still aware of my actions at the time."

"You can tell her all that when I bring her back!" Cadence responded also starting to get mad.

"I hurt one of the most important ponies in my life this is something I have to do."

"WELL MAYBE SHE HASN'T FORGIVEN YOU FOR THAT AND WOULD PREFER IF I BROUGHT HER HOME!" Shining was almost in shock after that comment and Cadence felt the same after saying it. The tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife but it came down as Shining Armor started to cry a little. Several tears came down to his nose and muzzle when he lowered his head and sobbed. Cadence regretting what she said walked over to her prince to comfort her with a hug.

"P-Please Cadence," Shining pleaded holding back his tears. "I need to show Twilight that I love her so much, I would literally to the ends of Equestria for her." Cadence then pulled his head to her shoulder. "I know I have a chance to do just that to show her that I mean it."

"I understand Shining Armor, and I'm sorry for what I said, but I need you to see the full picture." She began to rub his head as she continued. "With your shield spell you're more capable of protecting the empire than I am. I promise you I will return Twilight to you very soon and when I do you can say whatever you want to say and do whatever you want with her. Please I know this is asking much but have faith in me and I'll be back before you know it." Shining Armor then dried his tears and raised his head.

"All right Cadence I'll stay and you'll go."

"Thank you Shining Armor."

"Are you going right now?"

"No there are barely any trains running today. I'm going first thing in the morning for now I should help clean up of the mess those merciless machines made."

"After the clean up should I put up a barrier around our kingdom?"

"No, wait if the robots attack again we don't know if they'll be back or not. If not it'll be a huge waste of magic. But get a few look outs to keep an eye out for them."

"That's a good idea."

"I thought so."

"I love you."

"I love you too."

Before long morning came and Cadence was all prepared to board the train as she kissed her husband goodbye. She also walked over to the crib of her precious foal Flurry Heart who was sucking her left hoof and sleeping to give her a light kiss on her forehead while not disturbing her precious filly from her nap. Truly she was a gentle creature you'd never think she almost brought about the end of the Crystal Empire. While still a toddler it wouldn't be long before she started walking and talking. But for now she flew out the balcony to the train station and got right on.

As the train made the long way to Dodge Junction Cadence sat by the window to see the beautiful landscape that is Equestria. So many thoughts came to her while she was on the train. Was Twilight okay after all these years? Would she forgive those who hurt her in the past? What is the connection between Twilight and the invading robot army?

All these questions ran through her mind and more but the one she asked herself the most was would she be able to make up to Twilight for what happened in the caves beneath Canterlot? Truly that day was a sad day for all, a Changeling army nearly took over, a royal wedding was canceled, & a beloved unicorn was gone. Cadence loved Twilight like a little sister even when she was her foal sitter and more then anything wanted her back in her life. Eventually the train made it to Dodge Junction and Cadence wasted no time and flew straight to the Badlands, after she signed a few more autographs other ponies on the train wanted. After searching for a while she found a strange fortress resembling the castle of the 2 Sisters right in the middle of the Badlands it was clear that whoever put it there knew no pony ever comes here.

"I'm coming for you Twilight," Cadence said after she flew right next to it and used magic to get in.

"I wouldn't bet on that!" Said a big robot that spotted her.

"Who are you?' Cadence said as she backed up a bit in fear.

"Funny," The large robot answered. "I was about to ask you the same question."

Cadence stepped forward to stand her ground and answered. "I am Cadence, princess of the Crystal Empire!"

The robot then crossed his arms clearly taking interest in what she just said. "A princess you say well my name is Guts Man. One of Dr. Wily's Robot Masters."

"Dr. Wily?" Cadence said. "Is that the one in charge?"

Guts Man then began to approach Cadence. "Tell you what you can ask him all your questions when I bring you straight to him."

"I'm not going anywhere with you."

"Fine with me I'll just take you there myself." Guts Man then charged at Cadence who flew up to avoid his fist that made a small hole on the floor but couldn't dodge his other fist which hit her right in her chest and sent her flying over to the wall. After falling back to the floor Cadence struggled to get up. But when she did she gave Guts Man a stare of pure rage.

"Oh what?" Guts Man said in a taunting tone. "Did I hurt the wittle pwrincess-" Guts Man sentence was cut short when Cadence fired a huge beam of magic right at him so powerful it sent him through the wall behind him and sent him straight to the Badlands. By the time he was able to pull himself up Cadence had already flown right to him to lift him up with her magic and throw him against a tall rock. Guts Man got up and saw Cadence standing her ground in front of him.

"Want some more?" Cadence asked, ready to keep fighting.

"You better believe it," Guts Man said as he was nowhere near ready to give up as he charged straight for Cadence. He landed a powerful punched to the face that sent her to the ground then stomped on her to pummel her. "Come on is this all you got!?"

"Unfortunately for you, no," Cadence answered as she shot another time once again forcing him against a tall rock. Guts Man once again got back up but he was so focused on attacking Cadence that he didn't notice she already cut the top part of the rock he landed on with a magic beam. With a vast knowledge that could rival Twilight she knew to in the instant Guts Man hit the rock to cut it at 23 degree angle. That would make it fall right on him with at least 4 tons of pressure because of it's sheer size, and she was right it landed right on top of him with only his left arm and head not under the rock, Guts Man tried to get free but it did no good. "How's that for a wittle pwrincess?" Cadence said glad to throw his words back at him.

"Dr. Wily," Guts Man said right before he shut down and Cadence fell to the ground as the fight while brief took a lot out of her and the adrenaline wore off. Cadence slowly managed to get back up and felt her eye which she could tell was now black because of the face punch.

"I feel tired already and I just got here, I better take it easy who knows how many other powerful robots are in there." Cadence then brushed the dirt off her mane and coat then flew through the hole she made but first took a quick look to make sure the coast was clear. "That robot said he was one of Dr. Wily's Robot Masters, meaning there are more machines just as strong or even stronger than him. If I run into another one of them, I gotta get in grab Twilight and get out."

"What do you mean you can't find Guts Man?" A voice not too far from where Cadence was asked she followed it while still staying out of sight and saw a creature she never saw before.

"What is that thing? Is that Dr. Wily?" Cadence asked as she saw he was talking to 3 robots.

Cadence thought perhaps these were also Robot Masters and thought it was best to stay out of sight and listen in because she thought perhaps if she kept listening in she would learn more valuable information.

"It's as I said Dr. Wily we don't know where he is," Napalm Man said.

"So that is Dr. Wily," Cadence whispered, Dr. Wily then rubbed his eyes with his fingers to try and lower his stress. "How can none of you know where he is, this place is crawling with my robots?"

"Actually a lot of our army still hasn't returned yet or was destroyed," Pharaoh Man answered. " I think there's a chance a few Robot Masters were defeated during the invasion as well."

"But how could that be?" Asked Dr. Wily. "Unless the alicorns fought them that could be it. There's no time to waste spread out, find Guts Man, and bring him here time is of the essence." The 3 robots did what they were told and ran off while Dr. Wily walked into another room and Cadence decided to follow him.

"Where's my food?" A weak voice asked. "You said I could have it earlier today and I'm starving."

"Ah that I did," Dr. Wily answered as he walked to a desk and then walked to a small cage that caught Cadence's eye.

"TWILIGHT!" Cadence yelled at the top of her lungs and of course causing the 2 of the them to turn their heads. Thinking quickly Cadence fired a spell at Wily hoping that being the creator of the machines he himself wasn't much of a fighter. And she was right the spell knocked Wily out cold on impact. she then flew and landed right next to the cage to greet Twilight who backed up to a corner of the cage in fear.

"Get away from me," Twilight said trembling.

Cadence was confused as to why Twilight was acting this way. "Twilight it's me Cadence you don't need to be afraid."

"You're evil you trapped me in the mines beneath Canterlot."

"No, that wasn't me the Cadence who put you there was an impostor she trapped me down there too."

"Likely story."

Cadence then started to dance a little. "Sunshine sunshine lady bugs awake clap your hooves-"

"And do a little shake," Twilight finished with her and then suddenly all her fear vanished and she put her front legs through the bars to hug Cadence. "You remember me!"

"Of course I do how could I forget the filly I loved to sit for the most."

"Cadence you got to get me out of here."

"Don't worry Twilight that's just what I'm here for."

"Not on my watch," said a rather menacing voice.

THUNK

That blow to the back of her head caused Cadence to fall down as she continued to look at Twilight before she only saw utter blackness. Upon regaining consciousness Cadence found herself in a different area of the fortress. When she tried to move she realized she had a white cloth around her mouth and was tied to a support beam with a strange metal rope around her front legs and chest meaning her wings couldn't move either. Cadence disparately tried to use magic to escape but was able to use none, after a while Dr. Wily entered the room.

"How nice of a princess to come and pay me a visit." Cadence then tried even harder and to use her magic. "Don't bother that special rope will hold you and it cancels out magical properties. I'll get to you 2 in a moment I just have one thing to take care have." Cadence then looked around to look for Twilight wondering if she was in the room then felt a hoof grab hers and saw that Twilight was also gagged and tied to the other side of the support beam.

Just then a creature walked in carrying a small box before putting it on the ground next to Dr. Wily. Cadence then struggled to get free even harder and let out grunts of anger that the creature and Wily didn't seem to notice. "I got the rest of it doctor this better be the last of it."

"Yes it is well done Bass," Wily answered. "What did Sheep Man, Napalm Man, and Pharaoh Man have to report?"

"All the Robot Masters arrived except Guts Man who was found crushed under a huge rock just outside and Magnet Man who hasn't been seen since he was sent to attack Los Pegasus. Also not one robot has returned from Canterlot," Bass answered.

"Not one?" Wily said in shock. "I sent Fire Man, Ice Man, Bomb Man, and Elec Man. I imagine the 2 alicorns that reside there have something to do with that."

"I told you I should have lead the attack on Canterlot."

"And I told you that you had a more important mission speaking of which." Dr. Wily then pulled a switch causing a wall to lift up and reveal 2 huge machines. One in the far back has a huge triangular thing with a circle in the middle the second was some sort of transport device with a skull in the front of it. "Allow me to show you my portal machine and my Wily Machine 8 and one other device." Wily then entered his Wily Machine 8 and quickly exited it with 2 glass containers and a strange hose.

"So you're finally doing that huh?"

"Yes Bass, after 3 years of research I have finally perfected it." Wily then placed one end of the hose on one of the containers and the other on Cadence's horn. "Now the magic starts." After a wicked laugh Wily pressed a button on the hose and suddenly Cadence felt as if her very life was being sucked out of her. Twilight tried to get free to help her favorite foal sitter but it was all for not as she could only sit there and see that Cadence's cutie mark somehow vanished before her eyes. Then the container filled with a light blue sphere shaped energy that moved a little on it's own.

"So that's what it looks like in the container," Bass said as he walked closer to the container and took a knee to look at the magic inside it.

Wily pressed his hands on the container glorified at what he just did. "There it is, do you know what this is? It's your magic my dear." Cadence could barely move she felt too tired. "When Bass brought Twilight here 3 years ago I tried endlessly to do what I just did. Bass get the other Robot Masters and tell them what just happened," Wily said in a demanding voice.

"Fine but remember what we agreed on," Bass said as he left the room Wily then removed the hose from Cadence and was about to place it on Twilight's horn. "Your turn."

Twilight then struggled to get free as Wily laughed wickedly at her useless attempt to get free. No this can't be it, she thought. Her friends hate her, she's been imprisoned for 3 years, and now she's going to lose her magic. She pleaded for a miracle as Wily placed the hose on her horn. Suddenly a creature pushed Wily away.

"Why don't you pick on someone your own size Wily?"

"YOU! No it can't be. BASS! BASS!" Wily yelled as he ran out the door.

The blue creature then broke the metal rope and removed the gags. Twilight stood up but Cadence fell to the ground. "Are you two all right?"

"I'm fine but Wily did something to Cadence I think she needs to go to the hospital."

"I can barely move." As Cadence tried standing up the 3 heard several voices.

"Wily must have gotten to his Robot Masters I came to fight but several of Wily's strongest robots at once is too much even for me plus I have to make sure you 2 don't get hurt. It's best for now if we get you out of here,"

"Grab on," Twilight said and the two listened grabbing on to Twilight who used a teleport spell taking them out to the Badlands. They escaped but Twilight almost used up all her energy due to almost no food for a while. The blue creature could tell the 2 ponies were very tired and carried the two in his arms to the nearest town, Appleoosa.

After a little rest and some food Twilight and Cadence felt a little better. "Thank you so much for the help," Cadence said.

"Yeah we really appreciate it by the way just who or what are you?"

The blue metallic creature looked down on them with a smile, full of determination and hope, and said, "I'm a robot created by Dr. Light named Rock, but I'm better known as Mega Man."

Chapter 4 Reunions and Memories

Cadence was resting in the bed of an Appleloosa hotel. She didn't bring money with her but the hotel was more then happy to let a princess stay for free as long as she helped advertise the hotel when she was done. She planned to rest for a while then take the last train to the Crystal Empire with Twilight and Mega Man. She wanted to go earlier but she needed to get some strength back first. Cadence was so tired she slept half the day away and she still felt tired and wanted to sleep more but if she did she'd miss the train.

As Cadence prepared to check out the hotel owner brought his camera. He was a light brown stallion with a black tail and mane and 2 cherries for a cutie mark. He asked Cadence to get back in the bed for just a second upon doing so he took her picture. "I can see the front page now. Appleloosa Hotel good enough for royalty."

"Thank you so much for letting us stay here for free."

"Oh it's the least I can do for you since your 2 friends are really speeding up repairs."

"Yeah they really are great." Cadence then got out of the bed. "I was a little worried the ponies here would panic when they saw Mega Man because he's a robot."

"Oh no worries there he was actually here before."

"I know the sheriff told me that before he went into the Bad Lands he fought off a few robots that didn't retreat yet."

"I tell ya we ponies were sure lucky about that and the buffalo helping us."

"Well anyway it's time for me to go." Cadence then began to slowly walk out the door. "It like when Tirek took my magic," she said to herself.

"Y'all come back now ya hear."

"I just might I just might." Cadence then met up with Twilight who was laying down tired from using her magic to help the town and Mega Man who had a serious look on her face. while leaning on the wall "Is something the matter Mega Man?"

"Just trying to figure everything out."

"Well maybe we can help with that on the train. Would you like to come with me to the Crystal Empire?'

"Sure."

"The what empire?" Twilight asked as she got up.

"Oh right I forgot to tell you. A little after my wedding was canceled the Crystal Empire appeared after vanishing a long time ago. When we all defeated the evil king Sombra I became the Princess of the Crystal Empire."

"How did you beat an evil king?"

"Well how about I tell you on the way there?"

"Actually I'd thought I'd stay here or maybe go to Dodge Junction. I know Cherry Jubilee maybe she could give me another job."

"Twilight what are you talking about? Don't you miss your friends? Don't you want to go home?"

"No," Twilight answered as she started to cry. "All my friends hate me even my brother and Princess Celestia."

Cadence then placed a hoof around Twilight's neck to hug her and used the other front hoof to dry her tears. "No they don't, they love you. They did everything they could to find you."

"Really?"

"Of course Twilight please come home."

"They don't hate me. Are you sure?"

"Of course I'm sure," Cadence said with a smirk. "Give me some credit." Twilight then hugged Cadence more then the 3 headed for the train in Dodge Junction, the guards were alarmed at first when they saw Mega Man but calmed down when their princess simply said. "He's with me."

"Oh okay," one of the guards said. During the train ride Cadence wasn't sure how she missed it the first time she took the train but the robots really made a mess. The ponies had to find a way to stop those murderous machines and with Twilight back it'll be all the more easier. Upon arriving at the Crystal Empire Twilight was amazed by the sheer beauty of it all, quickly after showing Twilight around and telling every pony Mega Man was on their side the 2 mares were taken to the hospital for a check up. Cadence while still tired wasted no time and had a letter wrote and sent to Princess Celestia about everything about Wily, about Mega Man, about the fortress in the Bad Lands, but most of all about Twilight and that she's back.

The princesses upon learning Twilight had finally returned wanted to fly straight to her but couldn't. After a battle with 4 powerful robots Celestia and Luna were badly injured and had to stay in bed until further notice. So instead informed Twilight's friends of her return and they all took the first train to the Crystal Empire. Meanwhile Shining Armor who was called away on royal business after learning where the robots were decided to lead a full front assault on them. He was joined by not only the royal guard but groups from all over Equestria.

Ponies from all over coming to help except for Cloudsdale, according to the reports he received everypony there was greatly injured after a small robot that looked like a cloud somehow turned all of Cloudsdale into a giant lightning cloud. Shining Armor was ready for a fight but when the army of ponies arrived at the Bad Lands the fortress was gone. Despite this Shining Armor was happy as he could go home all the sooner and finally be reunited with his dear sister. Shining Armor had it all planned out after he begged forgiveness and she forgave him he'd spoiler her rotten, back at the Crystal Empire Twilight's friends gave her so many hugs kisses while releasing tears from her long awaited return.

"We're so super sorry," Fluttershy said who was crying the most.

"Oh please forgive us darling," Rarity begged.

"We were nastier than a pack of timber wolves," Applejack said.

"Please say you'll come back to Ponyville you make everything 200% cooler," Rainbow Dash said.

"We were such big dumb meanies for the way we treated you," Pinkie Pie said with her mane straight.

"Please let me be your number 1 assistant again," Spike said.

If this chapter was filled with every plead for forgiveness and every sincere comment of how much they cared for Twilight this would be a very long chapter indeed. Eventually the doctor told the 5 ponies and 1 dragon to go wait in the hallway, as they passed by Mega Man who was told of the robots attack on the Crystal Empire. He was also informed of other places the robots attacked and how the ponies were actually able to fight a lot of them off, these ponies were strong. As they passed him he couldn't help but see sad looks on all their faces, there was pain in their hearts as well as a blue unicorn that was already waiting in the hallway. "Hello," he said.

The ponies and dragon turned to the blue bomber and a few seconds Spike broke the silence. "Oh hello you're Mega Man right?" Spike asked who was told about him and his help.

"Yes," Mega Man answer as he got down on one leg in a better attempt to make eye contact. "And what might your names be?"

"I'm Spike that's Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and this lovely creature is Rarity."

"Oh Spike," Rarity said as she blushed and giggled. "You simply say the sweetest things."

"Yeah I know," he answered as Rarity kisses his cheek. "And that's Trixie."

"Hello," Trixie said as she gave Mega Man a sad little wave.

"Something wrong?"

"Well "Mega Man" you may have noticed that Twilight is back."

"Kind of hard for me not to since I was the one that brought her back."

"She and I weren't on the best of terms the last time we met." After hearing that Mega Man picked up Trixie and carried her over to Twilight.

"What is the meaning of this release the great and powerful Trixie!" Mega Man then did so and she was right next to Twilight who was still in bed.

"Something tells me you two should really talk out whatever problems you have." Mega Man then left the room and closed the door to give them some privacy.

"Trixie?"

"Hello Twilight."

"What are you doing here?"

"Well I'm with your friends now."

"What do you mean?"

"Well after our...encounter I came back to Ponyville so the ponies there would forgive me."

"Did they?"

"Yes after a while I even became the new element of magic."

"...What?"

"I know I was surprised too. It was short lived anyway."

"What do you mean?"

"Well long story short these crazy weeds were all over Equestria and to stop them we had to give the Elements of Harmony to the Tree of Harmony." After that Trixie walked towards the door. "I think that's enough for now your friends must want to say they're sorry some more."

As Trixie left Twilight's friends entered again after saying they were sorry more they also said they talked a bit about Twilight's condition.

"What do you mean?" Twilight asked. Pinkie Pie who's mane went back to normal happy she can talk to Twilight again tried to explain but she was talking too fast and probably would have blacked out if Applejack didn't stick her hoof in Pinkie's mouth.

"What she's trying to say is since the doctor said you need to stay in bed for a week how would you like to spend a night with each of us then on the last day we all have a big slumber party."

"Like the one you, myself, and Applejack had all those years ago," Rarity said. But then Spike started to act like he had a stomach problem then Mega Man bent down to see if Spike was okay.

"Hey Spike man are you okay?" Spike then answered by releasing a small fire breath then a letter appeared. "What in blue blazes?" Mega Man said as he picked it up and read it to everypony and Spike saying it was from Princess Celestia and she wanted Twilight to come visit her soon.

"Does it say how soon?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"It just said soon," answered Mega Man.

"Trixie has an idea." Everypony as well as Spike and Mega Man turned their heads to Trixie. "Instead of the big sleepover send Twilight to Princess Celestia on the 7th day."

"What an excellent idea darling."

"If Rarity thinks it's a good idea then so do I," Spike said. Spike then got a different piece of paper explaining the plan then sent it with his fire breath.

"Why did you burn your letter?" Asked Mega Man.

"It's how I send letters to the princess."

"Is that how all ponies send their mail?"

"No just me and when Princess Celestia-" Spike was interrupted when the princess sent back another letter.

"Wow that was fast," Mega Man said.

"Yes it was," Spike said as he read the new letter which said Celestia was fine with Twilight coming to see her in 6 days.

"Is that all right with you Twilight?" Mega Man asked.

"...Sure it's fine." Twilight's reply sounded somewhat sad but Mega Man didn't want to ask about it at the moment. He had something to deal with.

"Spike where is Princess Celestia?"

"She's in Canterlot why?"

"I thought I should talk to her about the attacking robots and tell her about Wily."

"That may not be a bad idea."

After getting some directions Mega Man headed to Canterlot. Spike also sent another letter to the princess saying Mega Man was coming. That way a royal escort could greet him at the entrance as to not cause a panic. Twilight's friends and Trixie after that took her straight to Ponyville just as Shining Armor arrived. Sadly he was not able to see his sister and things got worse for him when he learned what happened to his wife.

When he asked the doctor about how she is he was somewhat unsure. What was clear is that she was devoid of magic and very tired and that was most likely related to her missing cutie mark. At the moment she was told to stay in bed and after learning this Shining Armor went to see his wife. She was holding Flurry Heart in her front legs while still in her bed. It was a pleasant sight to see she could still care for their baby in her condition.

"How are you feeling dear?"

"Horrible!" She said as she set Flurry Heart in her crib that was moved next to her bed.

"Well maybe some sleep will help with that."

"No not that it's about Twilight."

"Is she like this too?!"

"No what I mean is...I'm really grateful that Mega Man brought us both to safety. But I wanted to be the one to save Twilight."

Shining Armor then sat next to Cadence on the bed. "Why?"

"I really wanted to rescue her so I could make up for what I did."

"What are you talking about?"

"It all happened 3 years ago in the mines beneath Canterlot."

Cadence was trying everything in her power to get out of the mines to get to her own wedding. But she feared she wouldn't make it at all. Suddenly the creature known as Bass punched a hole in the crystal wall. "Well I'll have to smash quite a few walls for this plan of his." After saying that Bass then returned to the other area not noticing Cadence who followed him and saw Twilight on the ground not moving.

"TWILIGHT!" Bass then turned his head to see Cadence. "What did you do to her?"

"I knocked her out since I was ordered to do that if I saw a pony here. Also if said pony is a unicorn which it is I'm ordered to bring it back."

"Back where?"

"Wouldn't you like to know," Bass answered then fired a small blast at Cadence sending her against the wall. Since she used a lot of energy getting through the mines it nearly killed her. "Lucky for you I was told not to bring any princesses back because kidnapping a leader of a new world when we just got here is too risky as my master put it."

"Your master who is that?"

"Good luck finding him." Bass kicked Cadence in the head knocking her out. When she came to she was found by royal guards and was brought back up to the surface.

"And there was no sign of Twilight."

"Why did you never mention this before?"

"For a while I didn't really believe it myself, like it was some sort of strange nightmare. But if I fought that machine I could have rescued Twilight. Instead I've had this secret guilt ever since then."

"But Cadence that wasn't your fault."

"But if I was at 100% I might have been able to beat him and Twilight-"

Shining tapped her mouth with his hoof as he got under the covers "I know just how you feel I said things to Twilight I shouldn't have even though I was brainwashed I was still in control of my actions at that point. I still feel awful but you can't change the past. I mean unless you use those time spells but from what I hear those never work the way you want them to."

"That I already knew."

"Really?"

"I wanted to give my past self advice before I became a princess it was a somewhat annoying time loop basically."

"Right well the point is Twilight is back and we'll finally make things up to her together one way or the other." Shining Armor then kissed his wife. "But for now how about a little kissing and cuddling?"

"What n-no you'll wake Flurry Heart." Shining then place a bubble of silence around Flurry Heart and her crib. "Smart."

"Thank you."

"I love you."

"I love you too."

When the ponies and Spike arrived back at Ponyville Pinkie wasted no time and brought Twilight to Sugar Cube Corner. She insisted on having Twilight for the first day to throw her a huge party. Pinkie started her party the second they arrived thanks to her party cannon filling the place with balloons, streamers, and other decorations. Twilight was stuffed with all kinds of sweets and Pinkie sang her smile song just to Twilight. The Cakes could barely move around but when they complained Twilight noticed Pinkie gave them a rather assertive but still nasty attitude.

Eventually night came and Twilight in Pinkie's bed. It was there that Twilight saw a rubber chicken. "Oh you noticed Boneless and look who else is here." Pinkie said as she place her pet alligator Gummy on the bed.

"Boneless?" Twilight replied in confusion.

"He was a gift from Cheese Sandwich."

"Cheese Sandwich?"

"Yeah the certified party pony."

"Oh him," Twilight said sarcastically.

"Have you two met?"

"No we haven't met I've been locked in a cage for 3 years," Twilight said in a mad tone.

"Oh sorry," Pinkie said in a sad tone.

"It's fine but what's the whole story of this rubber chicken?" Twilight asked with all the anger in her voice gone.

"Oh okay," Pinkie replied with all the sadness in her town gone. "It was when Rainbow Dash had her 21st birthday which was also the anniversary of the day she came to Ponyville. That was when an Earth Pony named Cheese Sandwich arrived who threw an amazing party Ponyville really needed. Afterwards he talked to me about how I threw an amazing party that inspired him to a party pony like me. Before he left he gave his friend Boneless to remember him."

"Wow that's actually an interesting story." Afterwards Twilight yawned and went to sleep after a long party, Now that Pinkie finally gave Twilight an apology party her vow had been fulfilled. The next day Pinkie would start to make plans for new parties for other ponies and bring back the smiles she used to give everypony. The following days Twilight would visit her other friends but noticed changes in all of them. Applejack came to pick up Twilight from Sugar Cube Corner and carried Twilight to Sweet Apple Acres at the end of the day Twilight was given several cups of apple cider.

"Some of the best I ever had here sugar cube."

"Cider season already?"

"Nah I just saved these from the last one. I had to fib about it but it was well worth it."

"Wait you lied?"

"Yeah I did."

"But you're the Element of Honesty."

"It was just a little one."

"But-" Twilight tried to make a counterpoint but had a jug put in her mouth by Applejack.

"Hush up and drink." After Twilight finished her cider Applejack brought in her old friend from Camp Friendship Rara. She was on another tour and agreed to give Twilight a personal show. Afterwards Twilight wanted to talk to AJ about lying but Applejack took control of the conversation. She explained how when the Flim Flam brothers came around with a fake tonic Granny Smith nearly died.

Applejack saw back then how big lies can lead to big trouble. She saw to it that she would never forget that by keeping a bit given to her by a pony named Silver Shell. She told Twilight that she understood her concern but as long as Applejack didn't make a huge habit of lying she would be all right. By the time Applejack finished Twilight was already too tired to respond so she was taken to bed. After that night Rainbow Dash carried Twilight to her home after Trixie quickly came by and cast a spell on Twilight allowing her to stay with her for the night.

Rainbow Dash made Twilight a bed of clouds when they arrived and after putting her in it Rainbow Dash read Twilight all of the new Daring Do books until she felt she had to take a nap. When she woke up Twilight wanted to read the books herself since she was a lot faster at reading. When Twilight finally finished Rainbow Dash introduced her to the author A. K. Yearling also known by few as Daring Do herself, Rainbow Dash flew to her yesterday and asked her to come and meet Twilight and those two really got to know each other. As the night came Rainbow Dash mentioned that she has been a Wonderbolt for quite a while and might become captain soon.

"It was pretty easy to become a Wonderbolt since I spend most of my time flying. I've even taught my team a few things."

"You have?"

"Yes I have like the time I taught Spitfire and Fleetfoot not to abandon their teammate and they gave me this." Rainbow Dash then showed Twilight a golden Wonderbolt pin before Twilight went to sleep. When Twilight woke up she was already at Fluttershy's cottage who spent the day nursing Twilight and mentioned several trips she went on in the past. Her favorite being the time she helped the Breezies get to their home and was given a tiny flower. It was a very pleasant except for when Angel Bunny was complaining about his dinner making Fluttershy bend down to make to make better eye contact.

"I worked very hard on this and if you don't eat it you can starve for the rest of the day," Fluttershy said in a rather loud whisper after that Angel ate his dinner and went outside.

"Don't you think that was a little harsh?"

"No Angel always thinks he's the boss around here and I'm sick of it. But you shouldn't worry about it I think it's about time you got some sleep." Twilight agreed and went to sleep quickly because she wanted to get her strength back as soon as she could. After Fluttershy it was Rarity's turn who these past few days has been working on a dress just for Twilight. It was a light blue dress with bits of gems all over it and even fake wings.

"What is that?"

"The Princess Dress!"

"It looks too small for Princess Celestia so is it for Princess Cadence or Luna?"

"Neither it's for you."

"For me?!"

"Yes darling free of charge of course. That's the first time I said that in a long time. I made this quite a while ago and it's still very popular in Canterlot. I made it so that everypony could feel like a princess along with quite a few other dresses." Rarity then used her magic to set the dress next to Twilight. Afterwards Twilight noticed a spool with rainbow color thread and a golden ring.

"What are those?"

"Oh those well the spool was a gift from a friend Coco Pommel though ponies just call her Ms. Pommel now for some reason. And the ring was given to me by Spike when he proposed."

Twilight almost jumped out of the bed when she heard that. "He what?!"

"I know I was surprised as well but he really is just the sweetest little dragon. He was always there for me and during this time I realized how much I cared for him."

"So you and Spike are married now?!"

"Oh of course not darling, I'm not ready to be married just yet but I told Spike to hold on to it for the day I am. He still wanted to stay at the library until we found you. And now we have, oh it's simply wonderful to have you back darling."

"Thanks Rarity."

"Yes Spike will be getting me baskets of gems."

"What?"

"Spike and I agreed that when you were found he would move into Carousel Boutique with me. Since you are in poor conditions we also agreed we should wait until you're better before he moves in. When that happens he can help me get a lot more gem stones. Oh I can hardly wait I'm going to have so many gems."

"You really like gems huh?"

"What is it wrong for a lady to like gems?"

"It's just not something I'd think I'd hear from the Element of Generosity."

"Oh come now even I'm allowed to selfish once in a while."

"But Rarity-"

Twilight was interrupted when Rarity pulled up Twilight's bed sheets with her magic. "Not another word. For now anyway I need to get back to work and you need to sleep."

"But Rarity-"

"Twilight come now you remember what the doctor said don't you?"

"Yeah, goodnight Rarity," Twilight said who didn't want to argue with Rarity and simply went to sleep. The next day Twilight was sent to her old home in the Ponyville library where Spike still lives and Trixie too. Sort of her wagon was right next to it and she still lived in there, the 2 of them did everything they could to make Twilight fell at home again. Spike started by cooking Twilight a pancake breakfast he made way too much but Twilight ate every last one since she only recently had decent food after 3 years of being Wily's prisoner. When Trixie had a chance to talk to Twilight she told her that she has really improved her magic, so much that she wouldn't be surprised if Princess Celestia herself decided to pick her as a new personal student.

"Is that so?" Twilight asked with actual curiosity.

"Oh yes all these books and reading them really helped out."

"Well what spells have you learned recently?"

"Well I'm currently working on a spell that turns an apple into an orange it's pretty hard I haven't quite mastered it."

"It sounds hard."

"Yes rather tiring actually but don't you worry Trixie will crack it in no time."

"Come on Trixie can't you go one day without bragging?" Spike asked.

"What she asked?"

"Well I'm sure Twilight would much rather read some new books we got." Before Trixie had a chance to respond Twilight got to reading those books and kept at it for the rest of the day. Trixie and Spike decided not to bother her but Twilight would occasionally stop to talk to the 2 of them. She asked them about the damage the robots did as well as what else happen in the 3 years she wasn't with them. As with her other days with her other friends she fell asleep early to get her strength back and tomorrow would be going to Canterlot to see her teacher Princess Celestia.

Princess Celestia has been staying in bed most of the day ever since she and her sister fought those 4 powerful robots. While they did defeat them she received numerous injuries that would prove fatal to most ponies but being an alicorn has it's advantages. The last few days have been somewhat difficult between getting necessary rest and trying to run her kingdom from her bed but she managed to handle it. There have been a few highlights lately the biggest one of course being the return of her dear student Twilight Sparkle. Another meeting the creature called Mega Man that rescued her student and fellow princess.

Even though her doctor didn't approve of it she insisted on greeting Mega Man in her throne room. The reason being that she wanted to properly thank him and also reward him with a metal of honor that he gladly allowed to be placed around his neck. Afterwards Mega Man asked her if he could travel her land to look for Dr. Wily and she gladly allowed it as long as a squad of senior royal guards went with him. Her citizens wouldn't panic if they saw members of the royal guard with him and he agreed. He's currently still looking for Wily and she's heard of him helping with repairing damage from the robots around Equestria.

When the day came for Twilight to arrive in Canterlot she wanted to greet her at the train station. Her doctors strictly forbid it they almost had to strap her in bed eventually she agreed to let her sister Princess Luna greet Twilight and escort her to the royal bedroom. Princess Luna was injured but could still walk and fly about and do her royal duties in and outside the castle. Twilight asked to see her parents on the way but they were called away to use their magic to help speed up repairs. When Twilight was taken to her teacher she was instantly pulled into the bed so Celestia could give her a hug and to say it right to her how sorry she was.

Sensing that her sister wished to be alone with Twilight Princess Luna quickly left the room. Twilight stayed in the bed with her teacher all day so they could both get some rest. Princess Celestia brought in food and books for Twilight some she would need for the next level of her studies. At the end of the day Twilight expected her bedmate to get out and lower the sun but that was done by Princess Luna. "You aren't going to lower the sun?"

"No I've been doing that every other day it'll still be a little while before I'm at 100% again. Thankfully though Luna has made a much faster recovery then I have. She'll be 100% tomorrow."

"Oh I see."

Celestia then placed a hoof around Twilight's shoulders. "But having you back will make it all the more easier Twilight. I'm so happy to have you back when these robots are defeated everything can go back to normal."

"So you think it's that easy?"

"What?"

"You and my friends think a week of saying I'm sorry will make up for the 3 years I was forced to spend in that cage?"

"Twilight we never wanted that to happen."

"The only reason it did happen was because I was teleported beneath Canterlot, and the only reason that happened has because I was alone with the fake Cadence, and the only reason I was alone with her was because you and the rest of my so called friends abandon me." Twilight then began to lightly hit Celestia on her chest as Twilight started to cry. Celestia then pulled Twilight into a warm and gentle hug with one hoof over her back and the other hoof stroking the back of her head.

"I'm sorry Twilight I never ever wanted you to suffer like that. I did everything I could to find you but it wasn't enough. I'm sorry Twilight I'm so so sorry."

"I wish I could forgive you," Twilight said as she continued to cry. "But you all treated me so horrible and made me feel so horrible. I felt like you all hated me. This time sorry isn't enough."

"I understand Twilight I completely understand. I promise I'll do everything I can to make it all up to you. Do you think you can find it in your heart to forgive all of us."

Twilight while still crying mostly stopped and began to settle down. "I think so princess but it's going to take some time."

"That's perfectly okay Twilight. I'll make it up to you if it takes me the rest of my life."

"Really?"

"Yes but for now we should get some sleep."

"Okay," Twilight answered as she got closer to Princess Celestia and closed her eyes. Pressing her front hoof on the princess's chest as Celestia held Twilight a little more tightly. But the hug was still very comfortable and Twilight while still having a few tears on her face stopped her crying. Princess Celestia then closed her eyes as well still holding her beloved student wishing she never had to let go as she too closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

Author's Notes:

For those wondering about the Appleloosa Appleoosa thing I looked into the right way to spell it. A map of Equestria shows it's spelled Appleloosa but season 5 has an episode titled Appleoosa's Most Wanted. Weird huh anyway next chapter will have another robot attack.

Edit: No actually looking at it all again they all spell it Appleloosa. Silly me.

Chapter 5 The Attack on Canterlot

Canterlot the capital of the wonderful land that is Equestria and the domain of the royal pony sisters who do everything in their power to maintain harmony within their land. However beneath the capital found on the mountain are a long series of caves once home to greedy unicorns that tried to claim the gems inside. And for a short while was a prison for Princess Cadence and Twilight Sparkle, but now it's the secret hiding place of Dr. Wily and his entire robot army or what was left of it. Somehow Dr. Wily was able to move his entire fortress after Cadence and Twilight's rescue. The robots haven't been seen since because Dr. Wily ordered all his robots to wait at the fortress for 1 last big attack on the ponies, with the exception of 2 Magnet Man who returned just before the fortress teleported after a run in with Mega Man.

Magnet Man has been given the mission of collecting the parts of all the defeated robots, the ponies have been placing them in huge piles outside where the robots attacked. Because of his magnetic powers it wasn't hard especially since the robot helping him could help collect the robots parts too and fast. Dr. Wily was working on a plan to rebuild his robots much faster to help for the big attack. "And with that we'll have all the alicorn magic and at long last I will finally be unstoppable," Dr. Wily said to his Robot Masters except Magnet Man who wasn't back yet.

"Is it really going to be that easy?" Asked Napalm Man.

"What are you talking about?" Wily said answering Napalm Man's question with a question.

"He's perhaps referring to the royal pony sisters," Pharaoh Man said. "They might even have defeated all the robots that attacked Canterlot all by themselves."

"True but it wasn't easy for them," Wily said. "It's a safe bet that they are both weakened but won't be much longer so we should attack as soon as possible."

Bass then let out an annoyed grunt. "We could have attacked a lot sooner but you wanted to wait."

"You know why Bass."

"We don't," Said Slash Man.

"Oh that's true I haven't told the rest of you yet."

"Are you going to tell us?" asked Metal Man who stayed quiet until know.

"Of course!" Answered Dr. Wily.

"Probably a good idea," Bass said with a bad attitude still in his tone.

"Bass was helping me with a new function to my portal."

"New function?"

"Yes Napalm Man a new function."

"What kind of new function?"

"The kind that will make me unstoppable!"

"Now that is interesting," Pharaoh Man said clearly taking interest in what Dr. Wily said. "Just what is this new function?"

"You see my portal will soon have the power to repair my machines instantly."

All the robots were instantly surprised at the answer. The robots couldn't believe what they just heard. Bass was the first to respond. "How in the world can it do that?"

"Why with the supply of magic of course."

"I thought the alicorn magic was going to used to power your Wily Machine 8?" Asked Metal Man breaking his silence again.

"It is I'm using a different magic. When I sent Magnet Man out I sent Yellow Devil with him to kidnap the first unicorn he saw then return here with Magnet Man after he got a huge portion of the defeated robots from Canterlot."

The Yellow Devil while not a Robot Master was still a very powerful, when Magnet Man collected the broken machines Yellow Devil ponynapped a fashion pony by the name of Sassy Saddles. She was taken beneath Canterlot and was given the same treatment as Twilight and Cadence bound and gagged to a support beam then robbed of her magic. Dr. Wily then got straight to work on the portal's new function but the machine became unstable and shoot out several unstable energy sparks. One of which hit Sheep Man dead on who didn't really seem affected and simply walked off. Dr. Wily and the other robots were so focused on the portal and what just happened none of them noticed Sheep Man leave.

After some quick research Dr. Wily discovered that the unicorn magic wasn't strong enough for the new function, but it was strong enough to help power the portal if it had the magic from 2 other unicorns. The repair function however would require the magic of an alicorn for it to work properly and so the final parts of the plan were made. Luna and Celestia would have their magic stolen to help Cadence's magic power the Wily Machine 8 while the magic of 2 other unicorns would be stolen along the magic of the baby alicorn Flurry Heart, who at this moment was on her way to Canterlot with her parents. Cadence decided to go to Canterlot with Shining Armor and bring his parents to have a family reunion with Twilight. But little do they know that this will make it all the more easier for Wily's plan as Yellow Devil reported this information when he return with Magnet Man.

"Every last one just like you asked for Dr. Wily."

"Excellent work Magnet Man now get ready for the attack on Canterlot."

"Right away boss."

"Finally after 3 years the end result of my plan is within my reach. I will be able to rebuild my army again and again in no time at all. I will rule my world and this one with an iron fist. Mega Man will finally fall before me and the best part, oh the very best part I will finally get the best of Dr. Light." Wily then let out a wicked laugh that echoed through the room.

Shining Armor after arriving in Canterlot wanted to beg Twilight for forgiveness and tell her how much he loves her then take her to a big family reunion party. But sadly that plan wouldn't come to action for just as he was about to see her, the robots attacked. Shining Armor told his parents to get his wife and daughter to safety while he kept the robots away, luckily a friend of the family was close by and he had several sons tough enough to be royal guards. While they got to safety Shining Armor took down all the robots in the area except for the robot dog that got away. But with the robots gone and his family safe he could use his shield spell to force all the robots out of Canterlot. But this was another plan that wouldn't come to action.

Metal Man one of Doctor Wily's Robot Masters set his eyes on Shining Armor and planned to use a saw blade to take his head clean off. After seeing him effortlessly take down half a dozen robots he had to take down Shining Armor as soon as possible. But Shining Armor's training as a royal guard taught him to keep an eye on his surrounding and instinctively dodged the saw blade before it even scratched him. "Not bad," Metal Man said as he jumped down the house he was on.

"I should be before I was the prince of the Crystal Empire I was captain of the royal guard." Metal Man then got closer and got out more saw blades.

"But let's see if you can dodge all of these!"

"Challenged accepted," Shining Armor said as Metal Man threw half a dozen saw blades right at him. He did this knowing that Shining Armor couldn't in fact dodge all of them. So Instead he simply caught all the saw blades with his magic in midair. Metal Man could see in the prince's eyes exactly what he was planning.

"Uh oh." Was all Metal Man had time to say before his own saw blades cut him to shreds.

"Well that wasn't half bad," said another robot on top of a small house close to where Shining Armor was. "But don't let it go to your head that was mostly his own fault for using a weapon he knows can be used against him. Honestly I don't know why Wily keeps rebuilding him."

"Who are you?"

"I am Dr. Wily's greatest robot my name is Bass." Upon answering his questions Shining Armor gave Bass a look of pure rage. "What's the matter cat got your-" Bass then stopped talking as he jumped to the ground instinctively to dodge a huge magic beam from Shining Armor. "Tongue?"

"So you're the robot that took my sister away 3 years ago."

"Your sister? You mean that purple unicorn?"

"Her name is TWILIGHT SPARKLE! Do you have any idea how much suffering you caused me and the rest of our family. Do you have any idea how much sadness you brought to her friends and to Princess Celestia?"

"Ask me if I care first." Upon his respond Shining Armor fire another powerful beam at Bass who this time decided to simply block it. While the magic pushed him back a few feet Bass was able to endure the attack with ease. "Is that the best you can do? That may work with Guts Man but not with me." Shining Armor began to breath heavy as the few attacks took a lot out of him just like when his wife fought Guts Man.

"Far from it," Shining answered as he fell to the ground a little.

"Oh really?"

"Maybe not but I'm still in this fight." The aura around Shining Armor's horn started to get bigger then it normally does. "I'm focusing all the magic I have left into one last attack block it if you dare!"

"I'm sure I could but I'd rather do this." Bass then turned one of his arms into a cannon that began to charge energy. "Let's see if you can handle this." Shining Armor and Bass's attacks then collided. At first the 2 attacks seemed equal as neither one moved that much when they hit but soon Bass's attacked charged all the way to Shining Armor.

Shining Armor had neither the time or energy to dodge as it not only hit him but knocked him into a store. On the ground and on the verge of passing out Shining Armor began to cry. "I'm sorry Twilight, I did my best I'm sorry please forgive me I'm sorry." Shining Armor then lost consciousness still crying.

"Pretty good for a pony but not good enough to take me down but then again what is?" Bass then turned the cannon back into an arm. "Dr. Wily said he needed 2 unicorns to power the portal. But I'm not taking you all the way to the fortress it's bad enough I did that once that's a job for one of the junk robots. Besides I was told to make sure we got what we wanted here so I'm just following orders.

Just then a scream was heard from where Cadence was at. "FLURRY HEART SHINING ARMOR WHERE ARE YOU? FLURRY HEART IS GONE SOMETHING TOOK HER PLEASE WE HAVE TO HELP HER! Bass could then tell from the screaming that his mission was completed then took off. SHINING PLEASE I NEED YOUR HELP I CAN BARELY MOVE FLURRY HEART COME BACK SOMEPONY HELP CELESTIA LUNA TWILIGHT ANYPONY PLEASE!

Princess Celestia was resting in her bed while protectively holding her student, but when the robots attacked Canterlot Princess Celestia had to act. After getting out of bed she put a bubble or silence around it to make sure Twilight could keep sleeping she sent half her royal guards to protect the citizens and fight off the robots, most of them were heading straight to the castle. The other half remained at the castle to help the royal pony sisters keep the robots at bay, this way the guards could attack from both the front and back of the robot army. Mega Man described what the Robot Masters looked like so she could keep a look out for them then she and Luna could take them down themselves. When the Robot Masters arrived together they failed to notice the princesses fly above and scattered them by hitting them with a combined beam, who themselves not notice Bass enter the castle.

"Bass are you in the castle?" Dr. Wily asked from a monitor that he gave to Bass to talk to him during the attack.

"Of course I'm in here!" Bass said obviously angrily.

"Calm down Bass."

"I'm not a spy I am a fighter."

"First things first, status report."

"The Robot Masters made it through but then got scattered however they seem fine."

"Good have Pharaoh Man and Napalm Man made it to the support beams yet?" Bass then saw heard an explosion then ran towards it to see that Napalm Man made a hole and he jumped through it with Pharaoh Man. "There on it."

"Good you can leave the castle now."

"I can?"

"Yes even if Mega Man gets here it will be too late. But I do want you to head to the train station to make sure Yellow Devil and Metal Man get their target."

"Fine," Bass said still willing to follow Dr. Wily's orders, for now. Meanwhile 2 Robot Masters made their way to the royal pony sisters. Slash Man was fighting Princess Luna while Princess Celestia was in a battle with Magnet Man, both princesses were with hoof picked royal guards to help them fight since they were still injured.

"Surrender now and we shall spare you!" Princess Luna said in the royal Canterlot voice.

"No chance," Slash Man replied.

Luna then went back to her normal voice. "Very well then guards seize him." The guards followed their order and attacked the Robot Master only to be trapped in a strange sticky red liquid. "What the?" Luna said confused and in that confusion she herself was trapped as well. "What is this?"

"It's a special red adhesive I use to trap my enemies."

"Interesting."

"Why is it interesting?"

"Because about 3 years ago Canterlot was attacked by an army of Changelings. My sister and I tried to defeat their queen but we failed and were trapped in cocoons."

"I see so this brings back rather unpleasant memories."

"Yes although the difference back then other than it was green and there was a lot more of it, the cocoons were stronger." Princess Luna then broke free of the adhesive while her guards were still trapped she was about to use magic to free them, but Slash Man attacked her and she just barely dodged.

"You may have broken my adhesive but these claws are strong enough to destroy asteroids." Princess Luna then fired several beams while flying back keeping her distance but Slash Man avoided all the attacks. "It doesn't matter how strong your magic is if it can't hit me, you'll have to do better then that." The aura of Luna's magic then surround several pillars that all slammed into Slash Man then Luna used magic to place the pillars to the way they were before.

"Is that better?"

"Yes." Slash Man was then hit from behind by several spears. It was the royal guards that are now free from the adhesive. "Your guards but how?"

"I used magic to free them."

"When did you, of course the magic beams from earlier you missed me on purpose."

"Yes pretty smart huh?"

"Princess our apologies for getting caught so easily," said one guard.

"It's okay let's just finish this guy." Just then Slash Man jumped over Princess Luna and started running away mostly by jumping on the walls. Luna and her guards gave chase and Slash Man made sure they didn't lose him, Dr. Wily assigned Magnet Man and Slash Man to fight the royal sisters and defeat them but if they couldn't stall them until Napalm Man and Pharaoh Man did their part. However if one needed help they were told to go to the other so they could fight together Slash Man hoped for his sake Magnet Man was having better luck then him. He was, Magnet Man was able to throw around the few guards because of their armor.

In the end Celestia had to order her guards to aid the other guards fighting the robot army outside, if they stayed Magnet Man would be much harder to beat. Magnet Man tried to force the guards to stay but they were able to get to the battlefield when Celestia rushed Magnet Man hitting him with several powerful magic beams. That was when Slash Man showed up with Luna and her guards. "That's more like it," Magnet Man said as he tried to draw the guards to him but Princess Celestia put a magic wall between Magnet Man and the guards.

"Sister what happened to your guards?"

"This robot can move things magnetic so I sent them away with their armor to aid the other guards, you should do the same."

"Princess we can just take off our armor," said one of the guards.

"If you do you'll be easier to defeat and Magnet Man will still use the armor to help him fight."

"She's right you helped me damage my opponent now please go help the other guards," Luna ordered and so her guards followed her orders and left leaving the Royal Pony Sisters to fight the Robot Masters 2 on 2.

"So It's just the 4 of us now," said Slash Man.

Magnet Man then noticed the injuries on Slash Man. "How could you let yourself be injured that much?"

"Me, you look like you're 1 blast from blowing up."

"Perhaps you 2 would like to give up then?" Asked Princess Celestia.

"You wish we'll never give up until we capture you," said Magnet Man.

"You'll need a miracle for that," Luna said.

"Well we don't have that but we do have a plan," Slash Man responded. Just then the castle started to rumble and shake.

"What's going on the entire castle is starting to move?" Princess Celestia asked and then used her magic to hold the castle still then suddenly flew off before she could be given an answer.

"Where are you going?" Slash Man said as he jumped after her. Princess Luna tried to give chase but Magnet Man got in her way out of instinct she fire a magic beam hitting him dead on and making him fall to pieces.

"Looks like your friend was right, I'm coming Celestia." Before Luna could follow her sister she received an enormous amount of pain from behind then passed out with no idea to what happened. With all the guards outside fighting the robots and the servants all sent home when the robots attacked the castle was almost completely empty. Almost not completely Twilight Sparkle the beloved student of Princess Celestia was still in the royal bed chambers resting. Princess Celestia paid no attention to Slash Man and was so focused on getting to Twilight she didn't notice Luna was gone.

"Get back here," Slash Man said but Celestia ignored him. When she made it there at last she saw that Twilight was just waking up and removed the sound poof bubble.

"Princess what's going on?" Twilight asked noticing that the castle was tilted and Celestia's magical aura was around it.

"The robots did something to the castle we need to get you out of-" Princess Celestia was interrupted when Slash Man attacked her from behind and knocked her to the ground.

"The only place you're going is with me."

"Princess Celestia!" Twilight said as she started to run towards her.

"Stop Twilight!" Twilight's teacher ordered and she did as she was told. "You need to get out of here right now before this castle falls on you."

"She's not leaving either Dr. Wily still needs 2 unicorns for his plan and besides I bet she misses her cage." Slash Man was suddenly rammed by Princess Celestia but got right back up.

"Leave Twilight I can't hold him off for long since I'm focused on making the castle stay still I can't use magic."

"Good to know," Slash Man said as he got ready to cut her to shreds Princess Celestia but she blasted out of nowhere then fell apart. Celestia turned around and saw it was Twilight.

"I'm not going to let anything hurt you," Twilight said.

"Thanks, now come on Twilight we need to get out of here."

"I don't think so," said Napalm Man who entered the room with Pharaoh Man.

"More robots," Celestia said clearly frustrated the 2 robots wasted no time attacking the princess and even roughed her up a bit even with Twilight's help. In the end Napalm Man fired several missiles that all went straight passed Princess Celestia. "You missed."

"He wasn't aiming at you," Pharaoh Man said. Turning around she saw the missiles were heading straight for Twilight and the princess instantly flew in front of the missiles to protect Twilight. Celestia fell to the floor her magic aura no longer around the castle and it started moving again.

"NO!" Twilight tried to get her teacher to stand up. "I could have just dodged myself why did you do that?"

"I'm not letting them hurt you anymore then they already have," She answered barely maintaining consciousness as she reach over to her face to rub her cheek with one of her hooves.

"We won't hurt her if she comes quietly," Napalm Man said.

"You aren't taking her away from me. Nothing will ever take her away from me again." Twilight then began to float and had her teacher's magical aura around her.

"Princess wait what are you doing?"

"Go to Ponyville tell your friends what happened and stop Wily and his robots." Suddenly Twilight was teleported outside where she saw Canterlot castle fall to the ground in pieces. When that happened all remaining robots retreated and the guards went all over the rubble digging it up to find their rulers, but there were no signs of the royal pony sisters.

Chapter 6 The Short Chapter About Sheep Man

Sheep Man originally built to herd sheep but now is a part of Dr. Wily's robot army. He's was a simple creature that mostly kept to himself but has had his fair share of combat, he has the power to turn into 4 wool clouds and fire electricity which is what helped defeat all of Cloudsdale. After getting blasted by strange energy from Dr. Wily's portal Sheep Man began to wander around and before he knew it was somewhere outside and in some kind of forest. He didn't know but it was the Everfree Forest a very strange and dangerous place to be but by some miracle Sheep Man found a way out of there safely and arrived all the way to the cottage belonging to Fluttershy. Dr. Wily told his robot minions that the ponies were the enemies but Sheep Man now found himself with an urge to make friends with the ponies.

Before long Sheep Man saw a small white bunny that stared at him for a while before getting a little closer, the bunny was named Angel and he went outside after having yet another little fight with Fluttershy. For a reason Sheep Man and perhaps not even Angel knew the 2 seemed to form an instant bond. The 2 then played around a bit and Sheep Man also helped Angel get a little food from trees and before long followed Angel back inside the cottage who hoped that Fluttershy had cooled off. Eventually Fluttershy came back to her cottage as well and to her surprise found Sheep Man there playing with Angel Bunny. Upon seeing Fluttershy Sheep Man offered her some of the food he helped Angel Bunny get.

Fluttershy was surprised by this action especially since all the horrible things the robots have done recently. However Fluttershy could clearly tell that this robot had a different nature from all the other robots. As Fluttershy looked at the robot she tried to figure out if she could really trust it when suddenly she saw Sheep Man playing with Angel Bunny and was rather shocked, not just anyone could befriend Angel in so little time. That showed Fluttershy beyond the shadow of a doubt that this robot for whatever reason had a very good nature that clearly all the other robots didn't have. Fluttershy decided to tell her friends about it and see what they think.

When she went to see her friends she was surprised to see that Mega Man was also in Ponyville. After finding no sign of Wily Mega Man decided to go to Ponyville to take a break then head to Canterlot in the morning. When Fluttershy decided to tell him about the robot she found and who befriended Angel Bunny as well Mega Man wanted to see the robot for himself. As Mega Man and the others made their way to the cottage he overheard the other ponies saying if Fluttershy believed the robot was good now they believe her too. Mega Man couldn't help but think that they're behavior was weird but from what he heard about them not believing their friend Twilight which is what kind of started all this in a way, perhaps they wished not to repeat their mistake from 3 years ago.

"So Mega Man?"

"So Rainbow Dash."

"When we get to Sheep Man, that I doubt you Fluttershy but is there a way you can tell for sure if the robot is good or bad?"

"Just my common sense," Mega Man said with a bit of a smirk.

"All right then, again Fluttershy I not doubting you."

"It's all right Rainbow Dash I understand," Fluttershy said. "You don't want anything bad to happen to us."

"I know the feeling," Mega Man said. "I may not have known you long but I want to make sure you lot are all right too." Mega Man and the ponies weren't far from the cottage, however before Mega Man and the ponies could even get to the cottage to ask Sheep Man Mega Man saw out of the corner of his eye Canterlot castle falling down.

"TWILIGHT!" The ponies all said in unison, Mega Man decided right then to head straight for Canterlot to see what happened. Mega Man was very fast but not even he was able to get there in time to help and instead heard what happened from Twilight. Mega Man decided to bring Twilight back to Ponyville because her friends were worried about her, getting back to Ponyville took no time at all and there Twilight told her friends what happened to the best of her knowledge since for the most part she was asleep. Upon hearing this Sheep Man had a burning desire within himself to try and help his new friends the ponies and started jumping around to get there attention.

When he got it he continued to point at the mountain that Canterlot was founded upon. Upon remembering the mines beneath Canterlot that she was trapped in for a little while Twilight figured that's where the princesses were taken. The group then took it into consideration that perhaps the entire fortress of Wily and his robot army were hiding somewhere beneath the mountain. After that everypony and robot went back to Canterlot to tell the royal guard about this so they could prepare to rescue the royal pony sisters. When they arrived there the royal guard was also dealing with ponies, buffalos, and even yaks that had arrived to the capital recently and wanted to help the royal guard fight the robots.

Twilight decided it was finally time to take the fight to the robots and stop them once and for all. She rounded up all the creatures that were willing to fight and take back their home in one last battle. When they all gathered Twilight noticed a strange creature with the head of a goat and body parts of all different types of other animals.

"Hello Twilight long time no see."

Author's Notes:

Yeah when I said short I wasn't kidding. Some of you might be thinking I've waited almost 2 weeks for this. I've been busy with a lot of other things and life in general but this chapter does speed up the plot a bit despite being really short. I'll try to get the other chapters out sooner the key word being try I'm still working on a lot of things. The next chapter will have the story back to robot fights.

Chapter 7 The Final Robot Rumble Part 1

"Discord!" Twilight said clearly shocked and a little afraid as her friends got together. It was bad enough that Equestria was being attacked by Dr. Wily and his robot army but now the spirit of chaos and disharmony had returned. And with the Elements of Harmony gone they might not be able to stop him.

"Hey relax I'm here to help," Discord said as he flew over to them and levitated a bit.

"Do you honestly expect us to believe that cow manure!" Applejack snapped.

"How did you even get free from your stone prison?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Quite a story actually," Discord answered as he sat down next to Mega Man. "I was freed from my stone prison when the robots attacked Equestria it caused more than enough chaos to free me."

"Does Princess Celestia know about this?" Rarity asked as Spike was holding her front right hoof to help her stay calm.

"Of course you see when I was freed I tried to find the source of the robots for quite a few days but not even I could find them."

"Okay, but why are you here?" Fluttershy asked rather politely.

"After I couldn't find the hideout of Prof. Wally.-"

"Dr. Wily," Mega Man corrected.

"Oh right whatever," Discord continued. "When I couldn't find him I went to Celestia and Luna and after telling them what I told you already I told her that I wanted to help them defeat the robots. After all, I would much prefer Equestria all to myself at first they didn't trust me-"

"No surprise there," Pinkie Pie added.

"Yes I supposed," Discord continued again. "However as Celestia put it disparate times call for disparate measures. So to see that I was true to what I said she asked that I go around Equestria finding those willing to help her fight the robots even go a little beyond if I wanted to. And that's how they all showed up I figured it be easier to teleport all the willing fighters here at once when I finished my search."

"Unfortunately he didn't say when he was going to do that," Braeburn said.

"Braeburn is that you?" Applejack asked as she ran over to her cousin.

"Howdy cous, yeah it's me. I want to teach those robots a lesson for what they did to my town."

"So you actually want to help us?" Twilight asked.

"For now anyway," Discord answered.

"So do I!" Trixie said in the distance.

"Trixie?"

"Yes remember me Trixie the great and powerful was the Element of Magic for a while, I have been living in Ponyville for about 3 years any of this ring a bell?"

"Well yeah Trixie of course," Rainbow Dash answered.

"Then way did I follow you all here after seeing you all run off? Why did none of you come and get me?" She asked clearly mad.

"Sorry Trixie we kind of forgot about you."

"You and the writer," Discord added.

"What?" Trixie asked.

"What?" Discord said as if he himself did not understand what he said.

"Anyway," Trixie continued. "What is going on?"

"The princesses are gone," A royal guard said. "We're still looking but we're pretty sure they've been taken."

"Then that means that they've been taken to Dr. Wily's fortress and we still don't know where it is," Mega Man said.

"Actually as I was about to say before I saw Discord Sheep Man was telling us-"

"Uh actually I don't think he can talk," Applejack interrupted Twilight.

"He was telling me his own way. Pointing to the mountain Canterlot was founded on."

"But we're on the mountain Canterlot was founded on," Rainbow Dash said.

"He was pointing straight down," Twilight replied. "And I figured he meant the mines beneath Canterlot."

"What how did you figure that?" Asked Pinkie Pie.

"I'm smart!" Twilight said clearly mad. "Now stop interrupting me!"

"Yes because that's really annoying isn't it?" Discord added Twilight then took a deep breath taking in Discord's point and calmed down. While she did that Sheep Man saw some paper and quill next to the debris caused by the robot attack. He decided to write down a copy of a map of the mountain Canterlot was made and a series of secret entrances that Dr. Wily showed all his robots. Luckily for Sheep Man he had a really good memory being a robot then he gave it to Twilight.

"What's this?" Twilight used her magic to hold up the paper to look at it then gave it back to Sheep Man.

"Was that a map?" Spike asked.

All right listen up!" Twilight said getting the attention of every creature. "The royal pony sisters have been taken and we have to rescue them as soon as possible before their magic is stolen from them, and when that happens who knows how much harder Wily will be to defeat. So we need to head beneath the mountain and rescue them who's with me?" After asking that all the royal guards and other ponies cheered to show they were ready to fight as well as some Buffalo and Yaks.

"YES YAKS HELP PONIES FIGHT ROBOTS!" Yelled a Yak.

"Um, I'm sorry do I know you?" Asked Twilight.

"You not know me but me Prince Rutherford! Prince of Yakyakistan ponies and yaks friends for a 1000 moons! We fight robots for ponies!"

Twilight used the blueprints Sheep Man wrote down to find the closest entrance to the mines and lead everypony, buffalo, and yak through there. She also told the entire group to stay together and real close because it's easy to get lost. They all stopped to rest for a while because some thought Wily moved his fortress to the very bottom of the mountain but still carried on. Trixie eventually decided to go to the front to talk to Twilight. "Are you feeling all right Twilight?"

"Not really Trixie I'm worried about what's going to happen when Wily steals the magic from the princesses."

"Do you think we can make it time."

"At this rate I really don't think so."

"Oh come on you can't give up hope all your friends look to you for that."

"Well isn't that nice?"

"You haven't forgiven them yet have you?"

"What?"

"You haven't I can tell."

"How can you tell exactly?"

"I know what it's like for them and you. It can be difficult to earn another pony's forgiveness. When I left Ponyville I became a laughing stock I was made fun of everywhere I went. I even had to take a job on a rock farm just to make a living, a rock farm! All the while I blamed you for it."

"Me?"

"Yes but after a while I realized the reason I felt that way was because I was jealous of you."

"You were?"

"Yes you seemed so perfect at everything. So eventually I came to Ponyville to make up for the things I did. But you weren't there anymore I wanted to tell you all this all the way back then and to tell you that I wanted you to forgive me. If that means anything." Trixie then started to walk away from Twilight but then Twilight pulled her back.

"Thank you for telling me that Trixie and I do forgive you." As Trixie and Twilight decided to hug out their feelings while still walking Discord in the back decided to start a conversation of his own.

"Hey Mighty Mouse."

"Mega Man."

"Oh right whatever, do you think we'll be able to beat this guy and his robots."

"Well with this much help I'd say so I just hope Wily doesn't cause anymore trouble in other worlds after this. It's so much worse than last time."

"Last time you mean something like this was happened before?"

"Sort of."

"Sort of?"

"Well it wasn't to this scale at least."

"So what happened?"

"Well before all this happened Dr. Wily went to another world that was actually a parallel version of mine and it even had it's own Mega Man."

"Interesting."

"Yeah there I got into a serious fight with Bass the robot Dr. Wily created for the sole purpose of defeating me. In the end I fought him off once again but I was badly injured. The Mega Man in that world brought me to a lab and repaired me, by the time I got repaired Wily was gone. So when I was back to 100 percent I needed to get back to stopping Wily, luckily I was able to help me."

"Ha I see what you did there," Discord replied.

"Thanks I thought it was funny."

"It was."

"Anyway, after he repaired me we both decided to look for Bass and Wily. But they were gone so I just went home Dr. Light the scientist that created me told me that we believed Dr. Wily as well as his entire robot army went to another world yet again. While searching we believed that Wily must have found this world first and then the parallel one and that he only went their with Bass as a diversion so he could take his army here and make it harder to track them. It took us months of looking but we were finally able to track down Wily and I was sent here. And that's pretty much how I got here."

"I see. But 1 thing how did you manage to track Wily to this world?"

"Dr. Light had a portal of his own that Dr. Wily stole he can track those who went through it in case someone got lost. Wily tried to destroy it with a timed bomb but ironically couldn't install it in time because I showed up and he had to go through the portal before I grabbed him. So he just yanked out the tracking device of the portal then went through it and it closed after that. Afterwards I brought the portal back to Dr. Light and he repaired the tracking device and then we started looking. The tracking device wasn't as good, but we still managed to find him also you're probably wondering how Twilight was missing for 3 years while Dr. Light and I searched for months you see-"

"Oh no need to explain that," Discord interrupted. "I've traveled to a few other dimensions myself I know how that works."

"Oh really?"

"Yes so since we both know how it works neither of us have to explain it."

"Yeah." After that the ponies finally found the fortress of Dr. Wily where Twilight saw 2 robots carrying Princess Celestia and Princess Luna who were both bound and gagged by the same type of chains that held her and Princess Cadence. Neither of the robots noticed the small army so Twilight decided to inform them all of a battle plan focused on the element of surprise.

"YAKS SMASH!" Cried Prince Rutherford as he ran straight for the fortress and all the yaks with him followed.

"CHARGE!" Twilight yelled out deciding just to go with it, then all the others followed her behind the yaks as they stormed the fortress. Except for Discord who wasn't a fan of physical violence and walked towards the fortress and enjoy the scenery of the ponies, buffalo, and yaks attacking. Hearing the attack Pharaoh Man and Napalm Man remembered their orders and ran to Dr. Wily who was already giving counterattack orders. Pharaoh Man and Napalm Man were ordered to fight off the intruders while Bass was ordered to find 2 unicorns and bring them where Wily was to take their magic as well as the princesses.

"Are you sure about that ,if I leave there won't be any robots to protect you?"

"Don't worry after I take the princess's magic I can power up my Wily Machine 8 and I'll be more then capable of defending myself." And with that Bass ran off to follow his orders then Wily got out the special hose and containers while the princesses struggle to get free, but the chains were too strong even for them. They both tried to talk and Wily was sure it was things like our friends will stop you or you'll never get away with this but he ignored it and set the hose and containers. "Hello ladies, the doctor will see you now."

Elsewhere in the fortress Trixie somehow found herself facing the Robot Master known as Napalm Man. A Robot Master for a reason as he almost blasted Trixie away with numerous attacks. However Trixie was quick on her hooves and was able to dodge all of them. "You'll have to do better then that," she said to Napalm Man clearly trying to mock him.

"I plan to," he responded.

"Oh really?" Trixie said clearly mocking him more.

"Yes," Napalm Man answered "Really!" Napalm Man then tried to fire several small missiles but Trixie fired spells at them making them blow up right next to Napalm Man then Trixie cast another spell pushing Napalm Man back.

"Trixie saw that coming a mile away. Your attack strategy is too simple not to predict."

"Now I'm really mad." Napalm Man fired so many missiles that he even hit a few robots by mistake. Since the missiles weren't all coming right at her Trixie made a shield strong enough to protect her from the missiles that did come her way. Then she fired another spell that not only pushed him back but damaged him more. "This isn't working I need a plan."

"Before you think of a plan how about a magic trick."

"What?"

"Now you see me now you don't." Suddenly Trixie vanished.

"Oh this is an old one." Napalm Man then noticed Trixie was right in front of him.

"Then how about I make you disappear instead?"

"What?" Before he knew it Trixie blasted Napalm Man similar to how Princess Cadence blasted Guts Man. Napalm Man was knocked through a wall and landed in pieces.

"What an excellent performance but what else can be expected from the great and powerful Trixie?" After stroking her own ego Trixie fell down as that powerful blast took a lot of her energy. "Okay maybe Trixie should have held back a little." Just then Bass jumped down right next to Trixie. After just seeing that blast he figured the unicorn that fired that would be low on energy and easy to capture.

"Hello there," Bass said then he picked Trixie up. "One down one to go." But then Trixie disappeared then reappeared next to Bass and fired another powerful magic beam at Bass. However Bass blocked the beam with his hand right before it hit his face.

"You blocked that?"

"Yeah you'll have to do better than that."

As she attempted to fire another magic beam Trixie first took several deep breaths. "I don't think I can."

"Well that just makes it easier for me." Bass tried to grab her but she teleported again a few feet behind.

"What do you want with me anyway?"

"Dr. Wily needs your magic for his portal's new function."

"Function?"

"Tell you what you can ask the doctor yourself when I bring you to him." Bass then charged at Trixie several times but she kept teleporting away. She also tried an attack or two but none of them even slowed Bass down. Trixie knew she had to find a way to defeat Bass and do it fast since she couldn't dodge him forever. While she was thinking several pegasus and earth ponies as well as yaks and buffalo attacked Bass all at once but he took them down without even breaking a sweat.

"How did you do that?"

"Oh please none of this creatures have a chance against me. I'm the greatest and most powerful robot ever created I will defeat all that get in my way."

"How can you run around with such an ego like that?" As Trixie took in the irony of her sentence, Bass then fired several energy blast attacks of which she dodged all but one of them. But Trixie still had some fight in her and got back up.

"I'm Impressed," Bass said. "Not even the 2 royal ponies I've fought have lasted this long with me."

"Well what else can be expected from the great and powerful Trixie?"

"Yes but I have better things to do then to spare with mini horses so I'm ending this."

"Mini?" Was all Trixie could say as Bass rushed at her and as she dodged Bass hit her with an energy attack stronger than the ones before that forced Trixie to hit the wall. After that Trixie passed out and Bass picked her up then carried her off. Elsewhere in the fortress Twilight had found herself fighting the Robot Master Pharaoh Man while Rarity was fighting the strange robot known as the Yellow Devil. Both robots giving the unicorns a hard time.

"Why don't you save me the trouble and give up now?" Pharaoh Man taunted.

"Not a chance!" Twilight responded. "This is payback for locking me up for 3 years!" Twilight then fired several magic beams at Pharaoh Man who dodged them by teleporting. He also levitated a foot or two above the ground to make it easier to dodge attacks.

"Is that all you got?" Pharaoh Man asked.

"All right how about this?" Twilight then fired another beam of magic and Pharaoh Man dodged that as well by teleporting.

"You never...learn?" When Pharaoh Man reappeared he noticed Twilight was gone and was then hit from the back by a powerful magic attack. After getting hit Pharaoh Man fell down and could hardly move, the spell stunned him.

"You sure about that?" Twilight said. "When you were teleporting before I noticed you kept moving a few feet to the right every time. So after firing at you again I made sure I'd teleport several feet behind the spot you would appear to catch you by surprise."

"Very clever," Pharaoh Man said. "I'm not even sure I can levitate or teleport."

"Good to know, now to end this," Twilight said and then charged for an extra strong attack.

"I shouldn't have said that." Pharaoh Man then summoned an eye shield in hopes that it would endure the attack. But he wouldn't find out because in that moment Yellow Devil was reforming near Twilight to get some space from Rarity and a piece of him hit Twilight. after getting knocked down the stun spell Twilight used wore off and Pharaoh Man levitated into the air. " I don't know if that was an accident or on purpose but I owe you one Yellow Devil, but first." Pharaoh Man was about to fire fireballs at Twilight but before he could a pegasus royal guard hit Pharaoh Man with the spear to his back.

"Not on my watch!" The guard said.

"Ah not again," Pharaoh Man said as he fired at the guard instead and fell down. The guard was hit by the fire and landed to stop, drop, and roll after putting out the fire he was attacked by several other robots and he decided to focus on them.

"Twilight darling are you all right?" Rarity asked as she helped Twilight up and Twilight walked forward to aim her horn at Pharaoh Man.

"I'm okay but I still have that robot to deal-" Just then Yellow Devil slammed his hands down on Twilight and Rarity. Then he picked the 2 unicorns up and held one in each hand.

"Nice work Yellow Devil since they're both unicorns let's bring both of them to Dr. Wily."

"Not on my watch!" Spike said as he jumped on Pharaoh Man's head to jump again but higher. Spike then took a deep breath and let out a huge breath of fire right in Yellow Devil's face and landed right in front of him. After taking serious damage Yellow Devil released both Twilight and Rarity. Rarity who was right next to Spike fired a magic beam right through Yellow Devil's eye as Spike breathed more fire on the robot.

"Keep it up Spike!"

"I don't think so time for me to return the favor!" Pharaoh Man prepared to attack the 2 but saw Twilight about to fire a powerful spell. Out of instinct he didn't stay to teleport or levitate but got out his shield again. But sadly for him Twilight's spell was more then strong enough to not only break the shield but also break Pharaoh Man and he blew up as Yellow Devil did as well. The 3 then got together after the defeat of the 2 meddlesome robots.

"Nice work Twilight!"

"Thanks Rarity but we aren't done here yet."

"And let's not forget you either my brave and glorious Spikey Wikey who saved us both," Rarity said in a bit of a babyish voice then kissed Spike right on his lips making him fall down.

"Oh Spike," Rarity then giggled at the adorableness of her favorite dragon.

"Come on focus you two we still have a lot more robots to defeat."

"Quite right Twilight."

"We should try to find the others to see how they're doing," Twilight said to which Spike and Rarity nodded their heads in agreement then took off with Twilight to fight more robots and find the other Elements of Harmony. While they were doing that Dr. Wily had taken the magic from Trixie who afterwards was bound and gagged next to Sassy Saddles in the corner. Both unicorns were in the same room as the royal pony sisters because Dr. Wily wanted his prisoners to stay were he can keep an eye on them thinking he might have use for them later.

"Just one more unicorn and the new function will be operational and then my army can rise again and again. Then all these intruders won't stand a chance. But before that I have an upgraded Wily Machine 8 to test out," Dr. Wily said as he brought out his machine. Dr. Wily then entered the Wily Machine 8 and powered it up, Dr. Wily was just hoping an intruder would come into the room so he could test the new abilities of the Wily Machine 8.

"Well that's an interesting choice of transportation personally I prefer to appear and disappear at will."

"What in the world are you?"

"I am Discord spirit of chaos and disharmony and I guess you must be Prof. Willy."

"Dr. Wily!"

"Whatever."

"You have so many different body parts composed of all kinds of different animals how does your body function?"

"You may be a doctor but don't I need to make an appointment with you before I tell you things about my body."

"Oh real funny I suppose you want to stop me and my army from taking over?"

"The thought had crossed my mind."

"Well I hope you have powerful magic because I need to do a little testing on my Wily Machine 8 since now it has alicorn magic."

"Well I'd love to play with you a little but I'm afraid the chapter is over."

"What?"

"What?"

Author's Notes:

I now this is supposed to be a serious fan fiction but when I brought in Discord of course he had to be funny. Also I kind of forgot about Trixie in the last few chapters hopefully having her defeat a robot master and holding her ground against Bass for a while makes up for that. Next chapter has the end of the robot fights and the last two chapters will be the wrap up.

Chapter 8 The Final Robot Rumble Part 2

"No seriously what?" Asked Dr. Wily.

"Oh hey we're back."

"What are you talking about neither of us left?"

"You probably wouldn't even understand."

"I am a super genius there is nothing I can't understand."

"Well all right you see-" As Discord was about to explain what he was talking about part of the wall behind him was blasted and chunks of the wall flew at Discord who disappeared to avoid them. Dr. Wily simply created a force field a new feature to the Wily Machine 8 thanks to the alicorn magic. The piece of the wall was broken when Bass fired an attack at the mane 6 and Spike who were now in the room with Dr. Wily.

"That robot is strong!" Rainbow Dash said.

"When I was imprisoned here he was referred numerous times as Dr. Wily's best robot," Twilight added.

"An entire army of you ponies couldn't defeat me," Bass said.

"Well we can actually put that theory to the test since we actually have an army," Spike said in a taunting manner. The attack on the fortress was going swimmingly the ponies, buffalo, and yaks were finishing off the last of the robots. While the robots put up a good fight the ponies, buffalo, and yaks managed to defeat them without any casualties, though quite a few were given serious injuries. Mega Man also helped a lot with defeating the army since he has a lot of experience defeating Wily's robots.

"And I have alicorn magic!" Dr. Wily said and as he said it Spike and the mane 6 saw the royal pony sisters tied up as well as Trixie and Sassy Saddles in the corner.

"Oh no they got Trixie!" Spike said.

"And Sassy Saddles too!" Rarity added. "No wonder I haven't heard from her in so long!"

"Enough talk!" Bass said. "You 7 are mine!" Bass then began to charge the mane 6 and Spike and blasted them all before any of them could defend or counter.

"That does it you're really gonna get it now!" Rainbow Dash said ready to pummel Bass.

"Oh I'm so scared," Bass said sarcastically.

"You better be." Rainbow Dash then flew at Bass almost fast enough to make a sonic rainboom but Bass grabbed her by the wings right before she could touch him. Bass then threw the pegasus right back to where she flew from. "He caught me I can't believe he did that."

"Believe it," Dr. Wily said from the Wily Machine 8. "But now it's time for me to fight Bass you stand back I need to test out the Wily Machine 8."

"Fine doc but don't take too long remember we still have to fight a whole army and Mega Man." Bass then went to the corner of the room to watch the fight. That way he could also see how powerful the Wily Machine 8 has become. Dr. Wily fired several missiles at the ponies and Spike who dodged but were hit anyway when magical energy exploded from the missiles after they hit the ground.

"I don't think they're getting back up after that doctor," Bass said as the 6 ponies and 1 dragon were barely moving.

"Well Bass this would be a good time to take the magic of one of the unicorns. We need one more to power the new function."

"All right doc." Bass then walked towards Twilight because she was closer to Bass than Rarity was. But when he picked her up she blasted Bass right in his face with a small bit of magic. Bass in anger punched Twilight in the gut sending her to the wall.

"You and Wily won't win!" Twilight said getting up.

"Oh please you ponies have no chance of winning," Bass responded to Twilight. Twilight then fired a beam that Bass countered with an energy attack of his own. Twilight was able to push Bass's attack back but he dodged her spell at the last minute. Twilight then fired spell after spell that Bass was able to dodge easily.

"This isn't working I need to think of a plan," Twilight said to herself and she was right but she was running out of options. But as she was thinking Applejack bucked Bass from behind then Rarity tried a spell to stun him but it wasn't strong enough. After that Spike tried some fire breath and Pinkie Pie was about to use her party cannon but Bass began to counter attack. Bass attacked and put all of Twilight's friends in a pile after giving them all a quick but brutal beating.

"I'll give you and your friends one thing, you don't give up," Bass said as he got ready to blast them all with a super powered blast.

"WAIT!" Twilight yelled. "Please don't hurt them anymore!"

"And just what are you going to do about it?" Twilight felt a strange feeling come over her as she saw a strange rainbow light shine on Bass for just a little while then came to a sudden realization.

"I'll let you take my magic if you won't hurt my friends anymore."

"Do you honestly think I'm going to fall for that?"

"Wait Bass I think she's telling the truth," Dr. Wily told him since he needs one more unicorn's magic to complete the new function. "Get the special container and hose and take her magic and Twilight if you try anything I'll blast your friends." Dr. Wily then moved the Wily Machine 8 right above the 5 ponies and 1 dragon. Bass followed his creator's plan and then used the container and hose to take Twilight's magic as she made no attempt to resist.

"Yes finally now to hook it up." Dr. Wily then landed the Wily Machine 8 and grabbed the container and hose after ordering Bass to make sure the ponies and dragon didn't try anything.

"Twilight what were you thinking?" Spike asked.

"We weren't worth it," Fluttershy added.

"Yes you are I realized that now," Twilight said as her friends started getting off of each other while also keeping their distance from the Wily Machine 8 so they wouldn't get beat up by Bass again.

"All done!" Dr. Wily said as he ran into the Wily Machine 8 and made it fly again. "Now Bass take the portal to the broken robots so the new function can repair them."

"Excuse me? Did you suddenly just build me for physical labor?"

"Hurry and do it Bass, we still have an entire army to defeat!"

"Fine." Bass started to walk over to the portal but then Mega Man entered the room along with Sheep Man and Discord who finally reappeared.

"I was wondering when I'd fine you 2," Mega Man said.

"Well I guess you found us," Bass retorted then noticed Sheep Man right next to Mega Man. "What are you doing with him?"

"He must have turned normal after the energy spark hit him and then he betrayed us to help the ponies," Wily said.

"That makes sense," Discord said. "As much sense as it can I suppose."

"But it doesn't matter my Wily Machine 8 has been equipped with the magic of the 3 princesses not even you stop me this time Mega Man."

"Then how about I give it a try?" Discord asked Dr. Wily.

"You? What makes you think you have a remote chance of defeating me? My Wily Machine 8 has the magic of all 3 alicorns in case you didn't hear! It has become the ultimate combination of science and-"

SNAP

After a rather loud snap Dr. Wily found himself outside the Wily Machine 8 that fell down without someone controlling it with cuffs on his legs and hands that were behind his back and in front of him the 3 special containers and Discord who didn't actually move.

"Magic?" Wily finished understandably confused. After that Discord snapped his fingers again making a giant anvil appear in the air and fell down crushing the Wily Machine 8. "But...But how?"

"Alicorn magic has got nothing on me!"

"This can't be happening what are you?" Dr. Wily asked.

"I think I all ready told you that I'm Discord spirit of chaos and disharmony."

"NO you haven't won yet! Bass do something!"

"All right fine." Bass then jumped to a ledge above Wily and the others and grabbed an object that looked like a metal backpack with a cord on it and as he jumped back down Treble the robot wolf entered the room through the hole.

"Treble, you've saved me the trouble of looking for you come time to merge." Treble wasted no time and did as he was ordered, fusing with Bass to unlock his full power.

"Oh yeah I can never get enough of that!" Bass then placed the object on the front of his chest.

"What's he doing?" Twilight asked.

"I'm not sure but with him it's never good," Mega Man answered.

"Hey Discord you said you are the spirit of chaos and disharmony right?" Bass asked.

"That's correct."

"Well would you like to see some real chaos?"

"You've caught my curiosity."

"All right then, just give me a second." Bass then flew towards the containers and then stopped right in front of them. Bass then attached the cord to one of the containers and absorbed the magic within it.

"Bass what are you doing?" Dr. Wily asked as he tried to get free.

"I remember you built this to absorb magic and put into the robot wearing it to make them stronger, you've only made one so far, I've decided to use it and put it to the test."

"But that's alicorn magic it's for the Wily Machine 8!"

"You mean the thing that got crushed by a giant anvil?" He asked as he absorbed magic from the second container.

"No please I can get you different magic you just have to wait a little longer."

"I'm sick of waiting I want some extra power and I want it now!" Bass then used the cord to absorb the third container giving himself the power of the 3 alicorns. "I can feel it, so much power flowing through me." A magical aura then started to appear on Bass as he flew up into the air. "Now about that real chaos I was talking about."

"Yes I'm still curious to see that," Discord responded knowing Bass was talking to him.

"How about I start by finally getting rid of Mega Man?" Before Mega Man could even respond Bass fired an energy attack much stronger then the ones before thanks to the alicorn magic. When the attacked cleared there was a hole in the wall at least 15 feet tall and wide the attack not only went threw the fortress but through the mountain as well. "I did it, I finally got rid of him, I can't believe I got rid of him let's see what else I can do with this new power." Bass then flew right through the hole and out of the mountain.

"I can't believe it poor Mega Man," Fluttershy said.

"I know it's just horrible!" Rainbow Dash added. "Discord how could you just...Discord?" Rainbow Dash then looked around as Discord seemed to vanished but then got tapped on the head by Discord who was behind her and was next to Mega Man and Sheep Man.

"You think Bass would have noticed I teleported his enemy over here blinded by power I guess."

"Wait you saved him?"

"Yes Dashie I saved him."

"Wait but why did you teleport yourself a few feet away?"

"I didn't I walked."

"Why?"

"I wanted to see if you'd notice."

"Thanks for saving me Discord."

"No problem just a snap of my fingers."

"But what are we going to do about Bass?" Spike asked.

"HEY DON'T IGNORE ME!" Dr. Wily shouted. "I'm not done with you ponies yet when I get free I'll make you all suffer for interfering with my plans and-" Dr. Wily was then bucked in the back of his head by Twilight which knocked him out cold.

"That may have taken all my energy but it was more than worth it."

"Well as I said before what do we do about Bass?"

"Perhaps we should free our captured allies first Mega Man."

"Oh right Discord," Rarity said who then raced towards Sassy Saddles to free her immediately while Spike followed because he always loves to help her.

"Spike help Trixie would you."

"Sure Rarity." Rarity got her friend free in no time at all while Spike did the same and faster thanks to his claws.

"Sassy darling are you all right?"

"I've been better Rarity much better. Though I actually do feel pretty good my magic is still gone but it's positively splendid to have that rope and cloth off of me."

"Trixie could not agree more. While Trixie did practice quite a bit of escape magic those ropes were so tight they were almost choking Trixie."

"Well at least you weren't tied up as long as I've been."

"At least you weren't beat up by a robot."

"No just taken right out of nowhere by one."

"Oh Sassy you poor thing when this is over I'm going to take you to a nice spa in Ponyville then you can take a week or two off."

"Which actually shouldn't take too long," Spike added. "I think we just have to defeat Bass at this point."

"You mean the robot that quite literally shot a giant hole through the wall a moment ago?" Sassy asked.

"Oh my gosh I can't believe I didn't think of this before," Fluttershy said in almost shock as she and the others were trying to free the princesses. "What if the attack Bass fired hit somepony?"

"Or Yak or Buffalo," Pinkie added.

"Don't worry," Mega Man said as he carried Twilight to her friends so she could help. "They went to the other side of the fortress quite a while ago."

"Oh thank goodness." Mega Man then placed Twilight down as she tried to help get the chains off Celestia and Luna. However still low on energy she simply asked Mega Man to do it who obviously was very strong since stopping Wily and all of his robots is sort of his job. Mega Man then grabbed the chains and broke them off as if they were simply straw. When the chains were broken Twilight went to see if Princess Celestia was okay who pulled Twilight in a hug the second she was close enough while sitting because of her lack of energy.

"I knew you would come to rescue me," Princess Celestia told her student as she continued to hug her not only with her hooves the left one behind Twilight's back and the right one behind her head but also with her wings. At first Twilight wanted to push her back because she could barely breathe but as her head was pressed against her teacher's chest she felt very relaxed she was so warm and her coat was so soft. "I'm so proud of you Twilight what you did to took courage."

"What does she mean?" Mega Man asked.

"Twilight offered her magic to Wily if he and Bass wouldn't hurt her friends anymore," Princess Luna answered.

"Wait so let me get this straight you willingly helped out the ones that kidnapped you for 3 years and have wagged war on your home just to protect your friends?" Mega Man asked Twilight who simply nodded her head. "Well you know what?" After asking her that Mega Man then rubbed Twilight's head with his hand. "I probably would have done that too."

"Really?" Twilight asked.

"Yes." Mega Man then noticed that Sheep Man was pointing to Mega Man's metal that Princess Celestia gave him and then pointed to Twilight. "You're right Sheep Man you don't need to talk for me to understand what you're saying." Mega Man then removed his metal and put it on Twilight's neck. "Here you deserve this more than I do."

"Mega Man I can't take this." Princess Celestia then stopping hugging Twilight but had one of her wings on her back.

"I think you do," Celestia said. As Twilight looked at the metal as a rainbow passed through. "Did you see that?"

"Yes looks like we have the last key?"

"Key? Discord what are you talking about?"

"I'd like to explain Twilight but we should probably do something about Bass so he doesn't cause too much damage."

"But how he has all the alicorn magic?"

"Yes Spike but now you 6 have something to fight back with in the meantime you and Sheep Man keep an eye on the fortress while we're gone."

"No way where ever Twilight is going I'm going too!"

"Fine Sheep Man will keep an eye on the fortress along with the other ponies here while Mega Man and I will take care of Bass."

"Do you see that hole he made? What can we do?"

"You know how he fights and my chaos based magic can back you up." Discord then dropped 5 rolled up scrolls next to Twilight.

"Discord I have no idea-" before Twilight could finish Discord snapped his fingers and the mane 6 plus Spike were teleported to a place where Twilight has never seen before. "What you're talking about."

"What are we doing here again?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Again?"

"Oh that's right darling you weren't with us. You see it happened during the Summer Sun Celebration."

After he flew out of the mountain Bass was so happy to finally be rid of Mega Man that he actually flew around Equestria in only a minute or two. "I can't believe this, the alicorn magic not only increased my strength but my speed as well. I should have done this sooner I'm unstoppable now."

"Really how about we put that theory to the test," Mega Man said quickly catching Bass's attention.

"Mega Man!" Bass couldn't believe his eyes. "But how I obliterated-"

"No you didn't I teleported him out of the way just before your attack hit him."

"WHAT! So even with all the alicorn magic something still gets in the way of me defeating Mega Man?!"

"Don't feel bad the alicorns never beat anyone with it either, well except for you robots so what does that say about you?" Enraged by Discord's not so subtle insult he charged at Mega Man and Discord that latter whom avoided Bass by teleporting while the former backed up. Bass's attack made a hole in the ground large enough to become a swimming pool.

"I can't believe he's gotten so much stronger Discord if we're going to beat him we'll need a plan." Discord responded by summoning an anvil twice as big as the one he used to destroy the Wily Machine 8. Bass instinctively punched the anvil and smashed it into pieces.

"Huh should have known that joke would only be funny once." Bass then floated out of the hole with a face of curiosity instead of rage.

"Wait a minute how did you 2 find me after I flew off?"

"Oh that's easy. I can sense whenever there is a magical imbalance so it was really no trouble to find you."

"Well that doesn't mean you can beat me."

"I don't have to we're just here to stall you. So in the meantime here's a pie in your face." Discord then summoned a banana cream pie and threw so fast Bass couldn't dodge it and was hit right in the face by it. Bass then grabbed the pie tin then crushed with with his hands before dropping it and wiping the pie off his face as best he could.

"Okay, now I'm going to kill you."

"And then this chest appeared," Rarity said explaining the origin of the chest.

"I see Trixie told me a little about this."

"But we still don't know why in rhubarb pie Discord sent us here."

"I'll bet these scrolls have something to do with it."

"Good idea Spike." Twilight then opened the scrolls and read all 5 of them each one explaining how the other members of the mane 6 had trouble representing their element but by doing so taught another pony something who rewarded them with something. Twilight then remembered what the other mane 6 told her while she stayed with them one night at a time. "I get it now." Twilight then approached the chest and saw it had 6 keyholes then suddenly the metal Mega Man gave her turned into a key that was placed in one of the keyholes.

"What happened?" Spike asked as he went over to Twilight. Twilight then hoofed the scrolls to the 5 other ponies giving them the ones they wrote.

"Hey this is the friendship lesson I sent to the princess," Rainbow Dash said in surprise.

"Same here," Applejack said.

"Why would Discord give these to you Twilight?" Fluttershy asked.

"Because he's trying to help us he knows that this chest can help us. Do you all remember the things you got when you wrote these." The 5 all nodded their heads. "Well go get them right now and bring them back here." The 5 then ran off deciding not to question it while Spike decided to stay with Twilight.

"Twilight I've been thinking."

"About what?"

"I was thinking maybe I shouldn't move in with Rarity. Maybe I could just stay in the library with you and still be your number 1 assistant."

"No Spike as much as I appreciate that if you want to move in with Rarity it's all right with me, besides I've been thinking too. I'm going to move back to Canterlot."

"What, are you serious Twilight?"

"Yes I just think that it's for the best. In a way you're all moving on in life it's time I do the same. I've spent the last 3 years trapped in a cage it's time I learn again how to stand on my own 4 feet. But don't worry I'll still visit you all from time to time."

"That's good we just got you back in our lives Twilight we don't want you out of it ever again."

"I don't want you out of my life ever again either Spike." Spike then hugged Twilight and she returned the hug.

"I love you Twilight."

"I love you too Spike." Before long the 5 ponies then returned with the items.

"Twilight sweetie we got the things you asked for."

"Wait Twilight you said the others got something when they taught a lesson to somepony else about the element they represent what lesson did you teach?"

"Actually Spike I think I taught myself by remembering how much you all mean to me and by remembering, friendship is magic." The other 5 then then got close to the chest and their 5 items turned into the 5 other keys. "Together I think we have to do this together." the mane 6 then each turned one key causing the chest to open and a rainbow came out. The rainbow then entered the Tree of Harmony as each color connected to the Elements of Harmony now connected to the tree and made the tree glow and the glow returned to the mane 6.

Bass had tried his best to defeat Mega Man and Discord but couldn't touch them. Mostly do to Discord and his chaos based magic he thought about maybe trying to hit them with a blast so huge they couldn't teleport away from it. As he was thinking of other plans he noticed a huge floating energy sphere coming towards him and that the mane 6 were in it.

"Well looks like the cavalry has arrived," Discord said.

"Like it makes a difference!" Bass then fired an energy blast twice as big as the one he tried to kill Mega Man with directly at the mane 6 but it couldn't even break through the sphere. "What? How is that even possible you don't even have your magic?" Bass asked obviously directing it towards Twilight.

"You're wrong Bass, I may have given away my unicorn magic but I still carry the most powerful magic of all." Bass was then hit by the rainbow which caused his aura to disappear and forced the alicorn magic out of him as well as become unfused with Treble. No longer able to fly the 2 then fell to the ground both were injured slightly from the fall and had wires sticking out caused from the magic removal. "No I'm back to normal!" Mega Man was then teleported right in front of Bass as Discord came down sitting on a regular sized anvil that smashed Treble into pieces.

"Oh that's good to hear normal you I can handle," Mega Man said as he cracked his knuckles.

Chapter 9 Returning Home

Cadence was resting on a bed after falling asleep from both exhaustion and depression using what little energy she had left crying over not only her husband who was found unconscious and beaten up. But also that her precious baby Flurry Heart was ponynapped by Dr. Wily's robot and there was nothing she could do about it. However all her depression would soon come to an end as a huge rainbow spread across all of Equestria and when Cadence awoke she realized her alicorn magic had returned along with her cutie mark. With her magic and energy back she flew off to Canterlot which was where the rainbow came from, she had a feeling she'd find what she wanted to find there. "I'm coming Flurry Heart!"

Back at the fortress Dr. Wily's entire army was finally defeated with the exception for Sheep Man thanks to Celestia and Luna finally getting their magic back, with all the robots destroyed the army of ponies, yaks, and buffalo gathered in the room where Sassy Saddles, Trixie, and the royal pony sisters were being held. They couldn't all fit in there but if they weren't in the room they made sure to be close to it. The royal pony sisters were using their recently recovered magic to heal the injured with the help of quite a few unicorns, the ones that weren't hurt. Dr. Wily still held by the chains Discord made could do nothing but watch. "3 years, 3 years down the drain."

"Forgive me if we don't cry for you," Princess Luna said to him. As they continued to heal the injured Discord and Mega Man returned to the fortress.

"Discord Mega Man! Did you defeat Bass?" Princess Celestia asked.

"Does this answer your question?" Discord answered by pouring a bucket of robot parts on the ground that clearly were the remains of Bass.

"Um, yes it does Discord."

"No this isn't over Treble is still out there when he gets here he'll get me out of here and we'll-"

"No he won't crushed him with an anvil," Discord said interrupting Wily.

"Besides Wily you've done enough damage here, it's time I brought you back to our world." Mega Man was about to carry Wily to the portal but then Wily was pushed back to the wall by Cadence who found her way into the fortress.

"Do you remember me?" Cadence asked Wily while giving him a stare of pure rage.

"Y-Yes," Wily answered returning her stare with his look of pure fear.

"I'm going to ask you a very simple question and don't you dare lie! Where is my daughter?"

"She's up there." Wily then pointed with his head up to a door on the ledge Bass went to earlier. Cadence then flew up there and upon opening it found her little princess sleeping in what looked like a nursery. Cadence then very gently picked up her daughter as to not wake her while still flying, she then placed a gentle kiss on Flurry Heart's head.

"My daughter, my little Flurry Heart." Cadence then flew back down to where Wily was. "You made a nursery for her?"

"Of course I put her in there after taking her magic I'm not a monster."

"Debatable," said a pegasus that went by Quibble Pants.

"Does she have her magic back?"

"No I connected it to the portal and it's still there."

"Well we'll have to do something about that." Suddenly some rubble fell the keyboard of the portal causing the portal to not only open but sucked in all the robot parts while also putting the robots back together. The portal machine started to fall apart as it did that.

"NO!" Wily yelled. "It's going to overload. Get these chains off so I can stop it."

"Are you kidding after everything you-" Mega Man then broke the chain links so Wily could run to the machine and shut it off making Discord stop talking out of shock.

"Don't worry Cadence he's not much of a threat on his own." Wily then turned off the machine but not before his entire army including a few Robot Masters and the Yellow Devil was sucked into another world.

"I can't believe it my army gone I could have repaired them to help me fight but now they're gone!" Wily then charged at Mega Man then started hitting the robot's chest with his fists. Dr. Wily actually knew martial arts but he was too sad and angry to remember and Mega Man knew that even when he broke the chains. Dr. Wily's fists clearly weren't harming the robot as he actually cried a little. "The last 3 years of my life are a waste because of you, if it weren't for you I could have finally showed our world how great I am!"

"Wily if you really wanted to you could have done that a long time ago." Wily then lowered his arms and head in defeat.

"You're right." Those two words alone told Mega Man that Wily's spirit was truly broken. After that a bunch of pegasus including the Wonderbolts arrived.

"We're here to help!" Said Spitfire captain of the Wonderbolts.

"Spitfire!" Princess Celestia said in surprise. "I thought you and the pegasi of Cloudsdale were hospitalized."

"We were but when a huge rainbow came by we were healed so we flew out to find the robots and flew in here when we saw the hole in the mountain."

"That's how I found this place, that and mother's instincts," Princess Cadence said just then Spitfire noticed Sheep Man, the robot that was the reason why she and the others with her were hospitalized. "YOU!" Spitfire then charged at Sheep Man but was stopped by a force field made by Princess Luna.

"It's okay Spitfire, this robot is good now." Other Wonderbolts noticed Sheep Man.

"That robot nearly killed all of us!" Soarin said Sheep Man then bowed his head and placed his hands to the floor to show how sorry he was.

"But he also helped the others find this fortress and finally put a stop to Wily."

"Who?" Fleetfoot asked.

"The guy that made all the robots," Princess Celestia said.

"I don't get it why is he good now?" Spitfire asked.

"I think I know," Dr. Wily said. "When I was testing the portal Sheep Man was hit by an energy wave. He was originally made to herd sheep, but I reprogrammed him to fight for me I think that energy must have somehow deleted his reprogramming and brought back his original function. Basically he was good I made him bad now he's good again."

"So in other words, it's your fault we got hurt so badly," Soarin said to which simply nodded.

"Since you are answering things I have a question too," Princess Celestia said to Wily. "How did you move your fortress all the way down here?"

"I teleported it. Before coming here I invented a small device that could be attached to my fortress and make the whole thing teleport to another area. But it was in the room next to this one right where Bass made the hole. At first I thought no big deal just remake it after conquering Equestria but that's not going to happen is it?"

"No!" Princess Celestia answered.

"So you pretty much have everything covered?" Soarin asked.

"Not quite we still need to get Flurry Heart's, Trixie's, Sassy Saddle's and Twilight's magic back it's connected to that machine over there," Princess Luna answered. "We need to remove the magic from it somehow."

"I think I know how to do that." Mega Man said. "That machine is a portal that can get me home, how does it look Wily?"

"I'd say it can only be used one more time." Dr. Wily then went over to the portal to look at it's functions. "But that's about all it can do. A small part of me was hoping to go to the world my army was sent to but we can't now, that part of me died anyway. We don't have the means to find it and sucking my army away took a lot of energy from it, it has minutes at most before it shuts down."

"What the heck did we miss?" Rainbow Dash said as all the others noticed the mane 6 and Spike had returned.

"When did you get back?" Mega Man asked.

"We defeated Bass with a rainbow inside a chest that brought us to Canterlot except for Spike so Rainbow Dash flew back to get him and we found a platform that brought us down here," Twilight answered.

"Platform?"

"Mega Man we don't have time for this, the machine is going to brake any minute if we're going to use it we need to use it now," Wily said.

"All right then I guess it's time for me to go."

"Wait!" Princess Celestia said. "Flurry Heart's and several unicorns magic is still in that machine."

"It's all taken care of," Dr. Wily responded as he typed in the coordinates for their home universe. "If we keep the machine running after we go through it the machine will overload and destroy itself then the stolen magic will return to where it came from."

"Wow Wily that's actually really nice of you," Mega Man commented.

"So no need to smash it then?" Discord asked as he made a huge floating mallet disappear.

"A mallet?" Mega Man asked.

"What it would have worked?"

"No anvil though? You used quite a few of those."

"Being predictable is definitely not my thing."

"Well I guess it's time for me to go home."

"WHAT!" Pinkie Pie asked in shock. "Don't you want a going back to my home dimension party? I have a party cannon I can decorate this whole place in-"

"No thank you Pinkie that's quite all right besides it's like Dr. Wily said we don't have much time," Mega Man interrupted.

"Okay then." Pinkie sat down a little sad but understood as Wily opened the portal.

"Though Twilight before I go I gotta know, the platform?"

"When we defeated Bass the magic that allowed us to win also made a new castle in Canterlot which also had a platform that took us here."

"So magic?"

"Yeah."

"Thanks all I need to know."

"Mega Man wait!" Twilight then reached up to Mega Man and hugged him then he returned the hug. "Thank you, for everything."

"Your welcome, thank you for helping me defeat Dr. Wily."

"Mega Man it's time." Dr. Wily then walked through the portal and Mega Man then let go and walked toward the portal.

"Sheep Man are you coming?" Sheep Man then held Fluttershy's hoof. "Just checking."

"Mega Man even though we might never see you again I just want you to know you're always welcome in Equestria." Princess Celestia told him he then gave her a thumbs up and a smile. "Thanks good to know now stay out of trouble you crazy ponies." Mega Man then walked through the portal never to return. After a few seconds the machine broke and shut down for good, then 4 spheres of magic returned to where they belong.

"Bobbins and bodkins my magic is back!"

"Trixie is great and powerful once again!"

"My magic is back too along with my cutie mark!" Twilight said then noticed the magic of her niece Flurry Heart return to her.

"Twilight do you think you all have things under control? I should get Flurry Heart back to her father and then back home."

"Yeah Cadence it's okay." Cadence then flew through the hole with her baby still in her hooves and still in a peaceful sleep. Flurry Heart truly had no idea of the evil that took place that day.

As the ponies and all their friends made their way out they all talked about certain things. The Wonderbolts mentioned how they were healed as the rainbow came by which lead the mane 6 to believe their rainbow fixed some of the damage the robots made. Eventually every creature returned to their homes, Twilight explained that the new castle she mentioned earlier was made by the chest to replace the one the robots destroyed. Celestia with her magic back lowered the sun because it had been a long day.

"Twilight I think we'll head back to Ponyville now we're pretty tired," Rainbow Dash said. Twilight told them how they more then earned it she on the other hoof preferred to stay and look into the castle because there was clearly a connection to her and this castle. Twilight found herself with Princess Celestia who was looking into the castle with her.

"It's a shame that Mega Man had to leave I don't think we thanked him enough," Princess Celestia said as she used her front hoof to pull Twilight closer to her. "He finally reunited the two us."

"I know I hope we can meet again one day," Twilight said as she leaned her face a little on her teacher's leg as they were walking. "In the meantime I should get to sleep soon. Do you know where the guest rooms are?"

"Nonsense Twilight, you can stay with me tonight." Princess Celestia then took her student to her bedroom to stay the night with her. She clearly still felt bad for the way she treated her 3 years ago. The 2 then got in bed next to each other on Celestia's new bed which was even bigger than her old one.

"You have enough room on this bed to have a permanent bedmate," Twilight said.

"Yes I could if that could really happen."

"What are you talking about your beautiful, smart, kind, and when you make a mistake or hurt somepony you fix it and make it up to them. Saying you're the full package isn't enough to compliment you."

"Twilight if I didn't know better I'd say you were hitting on me." Suddenly Twilight rolled until she was on top of Celestia making her old teacher's heart start to jump.

"Well do you know what?"

"What?" Celestia asked as she was a little afraid.

"You don't know better." Twilight then kissed her Princess Celestia wanted to push her off but it felt like 2 giant ball and chains were connected to her front hooves, after a little while Twilight separated herself from Celestia to look at her. "I wanted to tell you how I felt for so long, even before I got taken away."

"You have?" Celestia asked.'

"Yes, and as mad as I was at you before I regretted not telling you sooner because I thought I might never get the chance, I don't want anymore regrets, especially with you."

"That's fine with me Twilight," Celestia said as she returned the kiss.

Chapter 10 Another Canterlot Wedding

Here it it the final chapter to the story. My first fan fiction story has come to an end special thanks to Dark Colt Sabata for allowing me to continue this story. Equestria the land of harmony, 4 years ago a tragedy happened at what should have been a glorious day. An evil genius from another world tried to enslave the ponies for his own twisted desires but was stopped by a hero from the same world who the ponies did more than help. In the end the hero Mega Man defeated the evil genius Dr. Wily with the help of not just ponies but also buffalo, yaks, 1 robot turned good, a baby dragon, and a draconequus. After finally defeating Wily he and Mega Man returned hope and Equestria returned to normal, well as normal as it can get there. 1 year had passed since Mega Man left Equestria but the ponies had never forgotten him as a statue was made in his honor.

Normally such things were made into a special window in the castle, but all those who knew him felt this was best. A statue in the middle of Canterlot for all to see so ponies could learn who he was seemed like the fitting thing for friends who hardly knew him to do. Sheep Man one of Dr. Wily's robots that turned good decided to stay in Equestria and live with the ponies mostly Fluttershy Sheep Man also decided to work in Cloudsdale to help the Wonderbolts. Mostly to make up for what he did to them before, at first they didn't want much to do with him but over time they forgave and even befriended him. Sheep Man spends time herding sheep since that is his original programming.

Trixie the temporary element of magic decided to leave Ponyville and take her show on the road. Along the way she found another unicorn that was arrested some time ago for starting a cult and brainwashing ponies. The 2 found common ground since they both made mistakes in the past and seek to make up for them. The unicorn known as Starlight Glimmer agreed to go with Trixie and be her apprentice, they even went to the town where the ponies Starlight wronged lived as a part of the Humble and Penitent Trixie's Equestrian Apology Tour, it's was a working title. The library where she used to live was now being run by a unicorn that went by the name Sunset Shimmer who decided to stay in Equestria but would be sure to visit her friends from another world.

The Mane 6 went back to their lives but some lives were quite changed, Applejack continues to work at Sweet Apple Acres and Pinkie Pie continues to spread laughter around Ponyville and work at Sugarcube Corner. Fluttershy still lives in her cottage and spends time with Sheep Man and Discord who after beating Wily wanted to actually learn about friendship. He made a few mistakes along the way but for the most part did good even repaired damage the robots made with his chaos based magic. He wasn't really a bad guy he was just a misunderstood creature that needed friends to teach him right from wrong. He even tried to befriend a centaur trying to show him the magic of friendship after capturing him, it didn't work out but at least he tried.

Rainbow Dash soon became captain of the Wonderbolts and even started teaching them some new moves but she's still the only Wonderbolt that can do a Sonic Rainboom. Spike moved out of the library and moved in with Rarity, who soon became one of the most successful fashion ponies in all of Equestria. That was mostly due to her amazing sense of fashion but she also had some help from her favorite dragon, he truly loved Rarity as he stayed with her never forgot that and stood by her side no matter what. The 5 ponies soon dropped the bad habits they picked up when Twilight was gone after remembering how important the elements they represent really are. As for Twilight she moved back to Canterlot and after revealing her feelings to Princess Celestia they decided to date, Celestia wasn't all to sure about it at 1st but gave it a chance for Twilight and soon realized she truly did feel the same way.

Twilight's family took it well since they were just happy to have Twilight back in their lives. Her brother Shining Armor most
of all who showed her how much he was sorry and how much he loved her. Princess Celestia while now romantically involved with Twilight also stayed her teacher even eventually making her an alicorn princess herself. That happened when Twilight created an entirely new magic similar to how she and her friends defeated Bass, a magic that is friendship. A while after becoming a princess Celestia was invited to a party to celebrate the anniversary of their relationship where Twilight asked Celestia a question that she knew in her heart she had to answer yes.

The wedding hall was in the new Canterlot Castle the royal guards as well as the royal pony sisters had to get used to an entirely different castle but it didn't take long. The other members of the mane 6 and Spike were given the same roles as the wedding of Cadence and Shining Armor. Normally the groom would wait as the bride would walk down aisle but since this wedding would have 2 brides they were to stay in separate rooms while their dresses were placed on. They would then exit the rooms and upon meeting each other would walk down the aisle together. When the time came the two brides did just that and were completely in awe of each other.

"You look beautiful Twilight."

"And you look gorgeous Celestia." The two of them could barely look away from each other as they continued walking to the end of the aisle where Princess Luna would make them officially married. Afterwards Spike would ask Rarity a question that he knew she would finally say yes to.

"Listen I know this is a little late to ask but are you sure you want to do this. You've done so much to make up to me for what happened 4 years ago. I don't want you to feel like you have to do this just to make me happy."

"I appreciate the concern but I'm not doing this for you, I'm doing it for us. I do want to do this, I do want to be with you there isn't a doubt in my mind. As for what happened 4 years ago I'd say in a way it was a fair deal."

"What?"

"3 years of misery in exchange for absolute happiness for the rest of your life. Sounds fair to me." Twilight couldn't help but laugh a little at her soon to be wife's joke.

"I guess you're right that does sound fair."

"Yes now we should probably focus a little more on our wedding now."

"Yes we should a royal wedding will be taking place soon. But this time everything is going to be perfect."
