After Jasons' suicide attempt, a familiar face returns to save him and bring him back with the to Equestria. Will he be able to fit into pony society, or will he forever be an outcast?
Equestria. The land of friendship and harmony. Populated by ponies and other creatures alike. Though they are about to meet a creature they've never seen before. Is he dangerous? Why is he there? How is he there? And why does Twilight seem so attached to the strange being?
"Jason!" a familiar voice called out. I recognized that voice. It was the voice of the pony I fell in love with. The one who spent 6 months under my roof and my care. Next thing I knew, her hooves were wrapped tightly around my waist. I pulled my head out from the looped knot of the rope that hung from the ceiling and stepped down from the chair and wrapped Twilight tightly in my arms. I could feel tears begin to build up in my eyes.
"Twilight. You...You came back for me." I say, still trying to process what just happened.
Twilight looked up into my eyes. "How could you even think of doing that to yourself? How do you think that would make me feel?" She asks, as tears begin to well up in her eyes. I Bury my face into her mane and take a long inhale. The familiar smell assures me that she's really here again.
"I came back to bring you with me. Celestia granted me permission to bring one thing back, but she never said what thing." Twilight continues.
"Wouldn't that make the Princess mad?" I ask.
"I don't care. As long as I'm with you, it will be worth it." She says with a slight grin as she gently nuzzles my chest.
"Are you ready? I don't have much longer." She says. I give her a slight nod and she lowers her head and closes her eyes. Next thing I know, we're surrounded by a bright light.
I can feel Twilight's magic coursing through my veins. It's like a tingling sensation. Kind of like when your legs fall asleep, only all over. I close my eyes to shield my retinas from the intense light.

THUD!
I slowly open my eyes and find myself laying on the floor. I sit up and look around, and I'm instantly taken in by the familiar sight. I'm sitting in Twilight's library. Shelves packed with books line the walls. I turn my head to the side and see Twilight is on the floor beside me. She's breathing slowly and her eyes are closed. That much magical power must have drained her.
"Twilight? Was that you?" A voice calls from the other room. I decide to say nothing, not wanting to startle the owner of the voice.
"Twilight?" It calls again. I remain silent. Then, a small green dragon enters the room carrying a plate of cookies. Our eyes meet, and he drops the plate with a loud crash. He opens his mouth to scream but I place a single finger on my lip.
"Shhh" I say, pointing to Twilight.
"W...What are you? Who are you? How did you get here?" I stand up and dust myself off.
"Name's Jason. Twilight brought me here, Spike."
"How do you know my name?" Spike asks
"It's a long story." I say. "I came from earth. Twilight lived with me in my house when she disappeared."
Twilight let out a small yawn and her eyes slowly opened. She looked up at me and smiled wide. "Yes! It worked!" She said as she wrapped her hooves around me.
"Twilight, do you mind explaining what they hay is going on?" Spike asked. Twilight looked to him and let go of me. She cleared her throat and began to introduce me to the dragon.
"Spike, this is Jason." She says, pointing a hoof at me. "He's a human. He comes from a very distant and strange world. We spent a lot of time together. I guess you can say he's my coltfriend."
"Boyfriend" I corrected her.
"Oh...yeah. Right." She said.
Spike looked at me, then to Twilight. He pointed a claw at us.
"You two are...together?" He asked.
We both nodded in unison.
"I guess that's ok but if Celestia finds out..."
"She won't find out." Said Twilight. Raising a hoof to stop spike from finishing that thought.
"She doesn't know I brought him back. And I'd like to keep it that way for as long as I can." Twilight said, dominantly. I leaned down to Twilight's ear.
"What happens if she finds out?" I whisper.
"Let's just say, interspecies relationships are frowned upon." She replies.
"Jason, can I speak to you in private?" Asks spike as he gestures to the other room. I look down to Twilight and she gives me a nod. I hesitantly follow Spike into the next room.
"Ok,so I don't know who you are or what your plans with Twilight are. But I will keep your guys' secret safe. But if you ever hurt her, Celestia help me I will..." I cut him off.
"Spike, I would never hurt Twilight. She's the most important thing to me. I understand your hesitance towards me but I swear to you, I'm not here to hurt anyone er.. anypony. I'm just here to be with Twilight." Spike gave me a glare for a few seconds and crossed his arms.
"Ok. But I got my eye on you." He says. He left it at that and left the room. I followed closely behind and sat beside Twilight, who was already face deep in a book.
"What're you reading?" I ask as I put a single arm around her.
"Just some biology stuff. You wouldn't be interested in it." She said, not taking her eyes off the pages.
"If you're interested in it, so am I." I say with a grin. Twilight looks up at me and returns the smile.
"Jason, you have no idea how happy I am to have you here with me."She says.
"Ditto." I reply
Twilight gives me a confused look.
"What?" She asks.
"It means same here. So anyway, I guess I got to find a place to stay?" I ask.
"Nonsense. You'll stay here with me. You let me stay with you in your house so it's my turn to return the favor." Twilight said with a dismissive wave of her hoof.
"Thanks, Twilight. I love you." I say as a smile spreads wide across my face
Twilight blushed slightly. "Jason, Spike's right there." She said. "You're embarrassing me." She says with a slight giggle.
"Oh come on, he know's we're together. So what's the harm?" I ask in a slightly teasing tone.
"I guess you're right. I love you too,Jason." Says Twilight.
I leaned down and gave her a kiss. She returned the kiss happily. Spike just stood on the stairs, arms crossed and glaring at me.
I awoke in Twilight's bed. Her head resting on my chest and a hoof wrapped around my waist. The light of the moon seeps in through the window. I lay in bed, thinking. My mind racing. I'm only been in Equestria for a day and I already feel like I'm at home. I'm with the one I love and maybe that's all it takes.
"Hey, you." A quiet voice said with a yawn. I look over to Twilight, who's smiling weakly and rubbing her eyes with her free foreleg.
"Hey, sleepyhead." I reply as I give her a small kiss on the forehead.
"Is something wrong? Why are you up already?" She asks
"No. I'm just thinking." I say, as I turn my head and look at the moon.
Twilight nudges me with her horn. "Whatcha thinking about?" She asks
"Just how happy I am to be here. There are tons of people who would kill to be in my position right now and I'm the lucky one. The one you ended up with and the one you chose to bring back." Twilight just chuckles and gives me a kiss on the cheek.
"Of course I picked you. Why wouldn't I? I love you" I can't help but smile and wrap my arms around the sleepy mare.
"I love you too." I say. "I'm just kinda worried about how others are going to react to me. I don't want you to become an outcast because of me."
"Don't worry about that." she said. "Ponies are understanding. They might be a little scared at first but they'll learn to accept you."
"You sure?" I ask. Twilight gives me a nod.
"Yes, I'm sure. Go back to bed,honey." She says as she rests her head onto my chest.
"Did...did you just call me honey?" I ask, slightly freaked out with the sudden new nickname.
"Yeah. I read a book and it said that nicknames are an important part of a relationship. Why? You don't like it?" She says, in a slightly disappointed tone.
"No. I like it, it just came out of nowhere. You can call me whatever you want."
Twilight just smiles and nuzzles my chest slightly. "I love you." She whispers.
"I love you too." I say as I run my fingers through her mane and slowly drift off to sleep.
I let out a groan as a knock on the door woke me. I turned onto my side to find that Twilight wasn't in the bed.
I sat up on the foot of the bed and stretched my arms. I hear the door open from downstairs and multiple voices. I stood up and looked out the window. She light of the sun seeped through the blinds. I estimate it's about noon. Spike is still asleep in his bed. I sneak past him and head downstairs.
"So why did you want us to come here?" One of the voices asked.
"This. Jason!" Twilight's voice called out. I made my way down the stairs, rubbing my eyes.
"What?" I ask. Next thing I know a pink flash tackles me to the ground.
"Ow. What the hell?" I ask as I open my eyes. Pinkie's face is inches from mine. Her blue eyes open wide and a smile spread across her face.
"So you're Jason? I've never met anything like you before. What are you? How did you get here?" Pinkie asked faster than my brain could process the questions.
"Can you get off me? I'll answer your questions then." I say.
"Oh, sorry" She chuckled as she stepped away from me. "I just get really excited when I meet new ponies. But you're not like any pony I've met before." I dust off my jeans and shirt.
"That's because I'm not a pony. I'm a human."
Pinkie let out a gasp. "So Lyra was right!" She announces. I look over to the door. Applejack,Rainbow,Rarity, and Fluttershy were standing there, just staring at me.
"You guys going to just stare at me or what?" I ask. Twilight gestures her friends towards me. Rarity is the first to approach me. She reaches out a hoof towards me. I grab her hoof and give it a shake.
"Sorry, Darling. It's just I've never seen anything like you before. No offence."
"None taken." I say.
"Well I suppose we should introduce ourselves." She says. "I'm Rarity. The pink one is Pinkie Pie but you can just call her Pinkie. The blue one with the colorful mane is Rainbow Dash-" I cut her off there.
"Yeah. I know." I pointed to applejack "You're applejack, and the yellow one behind you is Fluttershy." Rarity gave me a slightly shocked look.
"Oh. I see Twilight already told you about us." She said
"Well, not exactly. It's a long story. I'll tell you later."
"Fair enough." Said Rarity. "So,Jason was it?" I give her a nod. "So, Jason, what brings you here to Equestria?"
"Well to be honest, I don't really know. Twilight used a spell and poof. Here I am."
"So you and Twilight are close, then?" Asked Applejack.
"Well, I guess you can say that." I looked to Twilight and gave her a grin.
"What do you mean by that?" Asked Rainbow Dash, who flew up to me and gave me a stern look. Her face inches from mine. I put my hand on her chest and gently pushed her back.
"I don't know if I should answer that. Twilight can tell you, if she wants." They all turn their attention to Twilight who trots over to my side.
"Jason and I are... Marefriend and coltfriend." She says, somewhat sheepishly.
"Oh my gosh that's awesome! We need to through you guys a happy relationship party!" Yelled Pinkie, jumping up and down with a wide smile on her face.
"Though, I'm not a colt. Where I come from, they just call it boyfriend and girlfriend."
Where are you from, exactly?" Asked Rainbow Dash.
"I'm from a place called Earth. No idea where it is or how far away it is from here. But it's a place filled with creatures like me." I say.
"They're called humans. It's a wonderful place with all kinds of crazy technology. They have this thing called the internet and it's basically a giant encyclopedia with all the information you could ever want except you look at it through a screen. I think they call it a computer?" Twilight asks, looking up at me.
"That's right." I say with a nod.
Suddenly music begins to play from my pocket. "Oh shit, I forgot I had my phone." I say, pulling it out and turning off the alarm.
"What's a phone?" The five ponies ask in unison.
"It's kind of like a computer only a lot smaller. And you can communicate with people from across the world with it. It can also play music, take pictures, play games, and tons of other cool stuff."
I open the camera app and turn my back on the ponies. I kneel down to their level and gesture for them to stand beside me. When they're all around me, I snap the picture and show it to them.
"See? Cool, right?"
"Yeah, that's actually really cool." Rainbow Dash says and the others nod in agreement.
"Hey, wait a minute." Says Rarity. "If you and Twilight are an item, when didn't she bring you back when Celestia came for her?"
"Well, one reason is because I wasn't at home when it happened. I don't know if that's the only reason though. Twilight?"
Twilight let out a sigh. "Well you guys know how Celestia is about interspecies relationships. So I just kept us a secret. I told her Jason was just a friend. But I couldn't stand being so far away from him so I brought him back by myself."
"Fair enough. But what if Celestia finds out?" Asks Applejack.
"Well, I'd like to keep it a secret as long as possible. But if she did find out, you guys would vouch for me and Jason, right?" She asks. "Maybe if we all tell her he's ok she would allow it."
"Of course dear. Jason seems cool. We'll vouch for you guys. Right girls?" She asks
"Mhm" They all say.
Pinkie starts to cry. "It's just so beautiful. You guys are from different worlds but you still managed to find love in one another.`Pinkie grabbed my leg. At first I didn't know what to do. I looked over at the others and they began to giggle.
"Don't worry. She gets like this sometimes. She'll be back to her hyperactive self soon enough." Said Twilight. I just patted Pinkie's head. Her mane was just like I have always imagined it. Soft and squishy. And it smelt faintly like cake and cotton candy.
In an instant pinkie was back to herself. Hopping in place "We need to throw the lovebirds a party!" She cheered.
"That's not necessary, Pinkie." I say. Twilight taps my leg and gestures me to crouch down. I obey.
"Just let her throw a party. Otherwise, you'll never hear the end of it." She whispers into my ear.
I stand back up and clap my hands together. "Alright, Pinkie. You can throw us a party. But just us. Don't go inviting all of ponyville. I want to keep it small."
Pinkie literally bounces off the walls. "How the hell does she do that?" I ask Twilight.
"One thing you'll learn living here, never question how Pinkie does what she does. Just go along with it." Pinkie stops infront of me.
"Ok, Mr.Jason-"
"It's just Jason, please." I say.
"Ok, Jason I pinkie pie promise to keep it small. But where should we have it?" She asks, bringing a hoof to her chin.
"Why not here? In the library?" I ask.
"Of course! That's perfect. Oh this is going to be so much fun!" Shouts Pinkie.
