> Shinobi's in Equestria > by TheDimensionRift > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Chapter: 1 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- “What’s….what’s going on? Our body feels…..Strange.” “Huh? Ku….Kurama?” Naruto woke up in a puddle of water, his head was throbbing and he had no recollection of what was happening or where he was. “Get up you fool! We have more problems to worry about than your unproductive napping!” Naruto sat up in the water puddle as he began to recognize where he was. The den of the Nine Tails was lit dimly as it always was with several small torches which wielded fire. He climbed up on to his feet as he watched his reflection in the greenish water, he than took notice of the giant orange fox which glared at him from behind a large red cell like imprisonment. Naruto slowly approached the fox as he felt the control returning to his body, all the while, he felt his head throbbing in pain. “Kurama, somethings wrong, I don’t know what it is but-” the yellow haired ninja winced in pain as he placed his hand on his forehead. “Agh! My head….it feels like something hard hit it.” “So, you feel it as well? I’m not sure how to explain it but our body feels……different, almost….smaller.” “Hellooo, can you hear me?” Both the fox and young ninja picked their heads up to look straight up, as if watching an unknown object soar across the sky; this however wasn’t the case. “Come on, please wake up.” “Hey Kurama, you hear that? It sounds like a girl’s voice, but it doesn’t sound like anyone I know.” “Hmmmm, I can feel your consciousness returning, you’ll be waking up soon.” Kurama glared at Naruto with a burning intensity in his eyes. “Naruto, I don’t know where we are, but it’s not the world we know.” “Wait, what do you—?” “Be careful out there, Naruto, I fell something……..…ominous. “Kurama wait!” Just as he was attempting to get a grasp on his situation, Naruto was blinded by a flashing, bright light. He could feel himself waking up, as though he had been asleep in his bed for an eternity, what he awoke to however, was nothing like anything he’d ever seen. “I can hear his heart beating, so he’s still alive.” Naruto slowly opened his eyes which attempted to readjust to the bright afternoon sun. When he managed to open his eyes he was began blushing as he watched a lavender unicorn resting her head on his chest. “Oh good, your awake, I was beginning to get worried,” the horned creature said as it shot the ninja a smile. “huh?” It took Naruto several moments before he could tell that this creature was an animal. “Whaaaa! Did that horse just TALK!?!?” “She’s not a horse, she’s a pony! And she’s a unicorn!” The hyperactive ninja turned his gaze toward another figurer, one smaller in stature to the talking unicorn. It was a small light purple reptilian creature with big emerald green eyes. “Are— are you a dragon!?” Naruto stammered at the small reptile in astonishment. “A TALKING dragon!?” “Actually, he’s just a baby dragon, so there’s no need to be scared of him,” the pony added with a giggle. She stood back and gave the yellow haired ninja some room. “Need any help getting back on your hooves?” “My wha?” Naruto was about to further press the pony before he looked down at his body. His hands and feet no longer held fingers or toes but hooves instead; his usual orange and black jumpsuit was gone and he appeared to be exposed except for a his clan's insignia which seemed to be tattooed on his flank. He sat for a few brief seconds in silence as he tried to contemplate what was happening. “GAAAAAUUUUGH!!!! What’s going on!? What the heck happened to my body!?” “What are you talking ab—” “Why am I a horse!? What happened to my hands!? And my feet!? And my ninja tools!?” Naruto was now up on his feet—er, hooves, and was frantically examining his body in quick glances. “Wait! What about my—!?” he paused for a moment as he placed a hoof on his forehead, he than let out a sigh of relief. “Well at least I still have my headband.” “Uh Twilight, I think this pony is seriously crazy.” “Now Spike,” Twilight began as she raised a hoof to silence him. “He’s obviously just a bit disoriented from his fall.” “That’s another thing,” Spike said as he scratched under his chin with a claw. “You said you saw him fall from the sky, but he doesn’t even have any wings; he’s an earth pony.” “Well I—” “Shadow Clone Jutsu!” Naruto interrupted with his loud screaming. Twilight and Spike watched as the orange earth pony stood on his hind legs with his front hooves clapped together. “What the? Shadow Clone Jutsu! Shadow Clone Jutsu! Shadow…..Clone……..Jutsu!” Naruto fell on his flank as he soon realized his efforts were useless, Twilight and Spike just stared with confused expressions. They exchanged glances before Twilight asked the question which was on both of their minds. “Uh, excuse me,” Twilight approached the yellow haired earth pony who was standing once more, this time on all fours. “What is it that your trying to do?” “I…I can’t feel my chakra…that means I can’t perform any jutsu,. I’m stuck in a horse’s body AND I’m cut off from any chakra? Great, can this day get any worse?” though as if to mock him, a thunderstorm quickly developed above the heads of the two ponies and the baby dragon. Rain rapidly poured down upon them, Naruto placed a hoof above his head, trying to shield himself from the rain; though his hoof served as poor protection from the pounding aqua. “Come on, let’s get out of this rain. My home isn’t far from here,” Twilight motioned for Naruto to follow her and Spike. “You don’t have to tell me twice,” Naruto replied as he galloped along side the unicorn who carried her small reptilian friend on her back. “In here,” Twilight waved a hoof as she ran into a strange looking tree structure and held the door open. Naruto followed swiftly behind her, the rain didn’t bother him much; but he was still in an unknown world that he knew nothing about with questions still on his mind. Something about this unicorn gave him the impression that she had answers. “Thanks a bunch,” Naruto said as he tried to catch his breath from running so fast. “Uh, so your name was?.....” “Is, and I’m Twilight Sparkle,” the unicorn said in a cheerful tone. She than pointed a hoof at the small reptile who was in the process of tediously re-shelving books on a nearby shelf. “And the dragon you met is Spike, he’s my number one assistant.” “I’m her ONLY assistant,” Spike grumbled as he climbed a latter and placed several thick tomes which he carried in one hand on the top shelf. “Spike and Twilight huh?” Naruto dismissed his question and quickly donned his trademark smile which radiated a sense of charisma. “I’m Naruto! Naruto Uzumaki!” The yellow haired stallion soon began scratching the back of his mane nervously as he forced out a question. “Hey, Twilight, are you a for real unicorn?” “Yes I am, why do you ask?” Twilight questioned with curious face. “Well, where I come from, there aren’t any unicorns, especially talking ones.” Naruto placed a pondering hoof underneath his chin as he gave his statement some further thought. “There are talking ninja dogs like Pakkun and talking toads like Gamakichi and Gamatatsu; but their not your average toads.” “What!?” Twilight said in aghast as she rushed to the side of the earth pony. “You have talking dogs and frogs!?” That’s not scientifically possible! How is that even possible!? You have to tell me everything!” “Calm down Twilight,” Spike said as he put some distance between the two. “I’m sure Naruto doesn’t wanna be smothered in all your questions.” “It’s—it’s okay Spike, really,” Naruto stammered with a hearty laugh. “I don’t mind answering any of your questions Twilight, I actually have a few of my own.” “A bit of quid pro quo huh? Alright,” Twilight quickly dashed up a staircase as she called back down to the earth pony. “I’ll be back, I have to grab a scroll and a quill!” “Oh boy,” Spike began as he brought Naruto a pillow. “Your going to want this to sit on. If she’s going to be taking notes, than that means it’s going to be a loooooong night.” "Do it again!" "But....my queen…..we—" "Do. It. Again!" Several changelings stood in a circular formation above strange markings carved into the ground. Two of the bug like creatures were breathing heavily as their hind legs shook weakly, all the while their queen stared on with a growing expression of displeasure. “We’ve attempted the spell six times already and have received the same negative results,” the changeling shifted uncomfortably in his position as he watched his queen approach him. “Two of our drones are also suffering from exhaustion, they won’t be able to keep up at this rate.” “Then summon two more drones who WILL!” Chrysalis commanded in an enraging tone as she stomped a hoof into the ground; her brilliant green magical aura was levitating a large unique looking book before her. “During our last raid on Canterlot my assault team retrieved Starswirl’s Tome of Dimensional Studies from the royal library. This book has everything we’ll need to conquer Equeastria and even further beyond!” “Dimensional spells and travel? She’s officially lost her mind.” The changeling who mumbled his comment to another was overwhelmed as he was struck with a surge of pain; he began to writhe in agony as Chrysalis’s magic enveloped his body. “Speaking out of turn when I’m angered by your failures is not the best idea,” the changeling queen stated with a glare. Her horn’s light died down as she released her drone from his suffering and waved a hoof. “Take this insubordinate abomination to the catacombs and bring me two more drones who can ACTUALLY perform the duties I bestow upon them!” At their queen’s orders, two armored changelings scooped up the injured insect like creature and escorted the two tired drones out of the summoning chamber. As if on cue, two more changelings entered the chamber and stood with three others which surrounded the summoning circle, they each took their positions and awaited for further orders. “Now then, if there’ll be no more interruptions, let’s perform the spell once more. If any of you feel as though you may not be at one hundred percent, than speak now and you’ll be escorted to the catacombs.” None of the five changelings dare spoke a word, the silence which befell them was frightening as each creature could see the fierceness the queen’s emerald green eyes. “Very well, than let us continue.” After assuming their positions and receiving further orders, the five changelings closed their eyes as a glow emitted from the horns protruding from their heads. A slight hum could be heard as the glowing of the five changeling’s horns began to intensify, the humming grew louder as a strange chant could be heard coming from Chrysalis. “Beyond the strength of one, when bodies of six come together. To excel pass the reality for which we have been tethered. Worlds beyond our own, nothing shall no longer conceal it. The fabrics of space and time shall contort as thy will it!” On the last word of the spell’s chant, Chrysalis quickly charged up a powerful surge of magic and released it at the summoning circle. The changelings kept channeling their magic into the center of the circle, the air in the chamber quickly became heavy as it had before. However, unlike the other attempts, a blinding flash of green light formed in the center of the five changelings; within seconds, an explosive force sent the creatures flying back from where they had once stood leaving behind faint remnants of smoke. Chrysalis stared on in amazement as she could see the silhouette of a tall creature who’s height rivaled even her own; as the haze lifted, she could see more distinct features on strange creature. The strange creature had an extremely pale complexion and appeared to have cracks around its face where a pair of glasses sat in front of two reptilian yellow eyes with slitted pupils and purple markings. It had grayish white hair and stood on its back two hind legs, the rest of its body was hidden behind a maroon-colored cloak with a hood which resembled a serpent's head with white, red, and yellow markings that resembled eyes. There was a distinct absence of sound as every changeling was awestruck by their success; it was the queen’s laughter which brought any verification of life back into the room. “MWAUHAHAHAH! Finally, I’ve finally done it!” Chrysalis was rubbing her two hooves together as she remarked on the success. “With this creature by my side, we shall claim all of Equeastria; and then, none of us shall ever go hungry again!” “How ironic,” as the creature began to speak, Chrysalis was silenced unintentionally. “Here I was studying a jutsu on Interdimensional travel and I get summoned to another world other than my own,” a large tongue appeared to lick the mouth of the creature which drew disgusted and uncomfortable grunts from the changelings. “There’s still so much I don’t know about. I will unlock the secrets of not only my own world, but this one as well.” “You! Creature! You shall help me take over Equeastria and feed my subjects!” it was Chrysalis’s commanding tone which brought the man a realization that he was not alone. “My, my, your quite the pushy one. Demanding things from someone you hardly know isn’t very polite,” the man adjusted his glasses on his face as a smile began to form. ‘That chakra…....it can’t be’. The man’s freakishly long tongue stuck itself out from his mouth like a snake and slithered around his lips once more. “You must be the locals of this world, allow me to introduce myself then. I am a shinobi known as Kabuto Yakushi.” “I am Chrysalis, Queen of the Changelings, and now, of you.” “Of me? Well that doesn’t sound right, after all, I am stronger than the lot of you here; it doesn’t take a genius to know that.” Kabuto was unaware of the changeling which had snuck up behind him, after receiving a nod of confirmation from his queen, the changeling lunged at Kabuto with bearing fangs. A creature shot out from under Kabuto’s cloak and wrapped itself around the insect-like creature, stopping it’s attack. Chrysalis and the other changelings were frozen in a state of shock as the eyed the large white serpent which had wrapped itself around Kabuto’s attacker and continued to squeeze. “Is this how you welcome all of your guests?” “What—what are you?” Chrysalis stammered as she watched the snake bring the changeling around to Kabuto’s face. “Someone who can help you get what you want, however, I want something in exchange.” Kabuto could see the queen still had a sense of fear on her face, but now she was interested in what he had to say. “I can tell you are knowledgeable of this world, I’d like to acquire more information on everything here.” “Us changelings have a transformation ability, we can steal you some books from several of the libraries in Equeastria. Is there anything else?” “Another good source of information are your subjects here,” Kabuto was now staring deep into the arctic blue eyes of the changeling who looked away in fear. “I’d like several of them to report to me for….experimentation. Of course you’ll have to provide me with the tools I require and a lab.” “Experimentation? What do you intend to do with them?” Chrysalis asked with a touch of curiosity and fright in her voice. “Just some simple dissection, nothing too serious,” Kabuto laughed as he patted the creature on the head in a gentle and sadistic manner. “One final request, there is another like myself somewhere in this world. He’ll have black hair, possibly red eyes, and a cold, smug demeanor; I want you and your changelings to assist me in his capture.” “There is another? Why not get him to help?” “I’m afraid it’s not that simple,” Kabuto readjusted his glasses once more as he spoke. “He’s reformed himself to be one of the ‘good guys’. So asking him for help is out of the question.” “Than why are you interested in him?” Chrysalis was cautious as she watched Kabuto slowly walk over to her, no changeling dared even move, not even the drones assigned to be the queen’s guards. “In my world, a shinobi can perform extraordinary feats by performing powerful techniques know as ninjutsu. The shinobi who I want is the last of a now extinct clan, the ninjutsu he can do rival the stuff of legends. I want to unlock every secret behind ninjutsu, so he would make the perfect test subject.” Kabuto’s serpent now released the changeling who scurried out of the chamber with haste. The white snake slithered over Kabuto’s right shoulder and eyed the changeling queen, almost as off analyzing her. “So, do we have an agreement?” > Chapter: 2 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- “If what he’s saying is true,” Twilight examined several scrolls which she had written down everything Naruto had said the night before. “He’s not from around here. Hmmm, he fell out of the sky; he’s apparently not familiar with the land; and he’s talking about chakra and ninjutsu and being a ninja; there’s only one explanation for this.” Twilight paused and looked at Spike with an expression of glee. “He’s a foreigner! Probably from across the sea! I knew they had different customs from ours!” “You honestly believe him when he says he’s a ninja?” Spike asked. “Well, not entirely, but if he says he is than I won’t argue.” Twilight rolled up the scrolls of newfound knowledge and placed them on her desk nearby. “There sure are a lot of new ponies showing up in town isn’t there?” Twilight’s thought was interrupted as she heard a loud yawn come from the other bed in the room. “Man, I haven’t slept that good in awhile.” Naruto hopped out of the bed and began stretching his hooves and rolled his neck which gave a few ‘cracks’ in the process. “It felt like I was sleeping on a cloud.” “Sounds like you got a goodnight sleep,” Twilight chimed with a warm smile. “Yup and now I better get to my training, I have to try to connect with my chakra again so I better get start—” Naruto’s speech was interrupted by a loud gurgling sound which seemed to fill the room. “Sounds like somepony is hungry.” Naruto let out a laugh as he scratched the back of his mane which Twilight assumed meant yes. “Come on let’s head to Sugarcube Corner and grab a bite to eat.” Twilight motioned for Naruto to follow down the stairs, but he bolted past her, down the stairs, and toward the front door; Twilight heard a loud thud and a scream as he did. “Naruto!” she cried as her and Spike rushed down stairs. When they reached the bottom of the stairs, Twilight and Spike noticed Naruto on the floor with a familiar pegasus hovering above him. “And stay down!” Rainbow Dash said as she lowered herself down to the ground. “Rainbow? What’s going on?” Twilight asked with a puzzled look. “I came here to return the Daring Do book you let me borrow and this creep came charging at me.” Rainbow pointed a hoof at Naruto who now stood up once more. “I didn’t charge at you, I was heading for the door and when I opened it you punched me.” Naruto rubbed the side of his face where his fox like whisker lines held a hoofprint on it. “Naruto this is Rainbow Dash, though I guess you two have already met,” Twilight laughed. “So Rainbow, you want to join us for a bite at Sugarcube Corner?” “Sure, why not?” she replied with a smile. She then turned to Naruto with a nervous smile. “No hard feelings?” “It’s alright, you pack a punch but your nowhere near as strong as Grandma Tsunade or Sakura,” the yellow haired pony laughed. He then proceeded to follow the two ponies and Spike out the door. The two mares and colt walked through Ponyville with several passerby ponies staring at Naruto. Mares eyed him and waved while giggling at him, colts and stallions seemed to be eying him with looks of envy; he couldn’t for the life of him figure out why. “Here we are,” Twilight said aloud to here friends as they stopped in front of a large building which looked to be made of several desserts and pastries. “Whoa….can— can we eat it?” Naruto stammered with drool coming from his mouth. “No feather brain,” Rainbow laughed as she gave Naruto a playful shove. “You eat inside.” She then began to push the earth pony through the pink doors after Twilight. The inside of Sugarcube Corner was littered with even more pink on the inside similar to the outside. There were desserts behind a counter where a light brilliant amber earth pony was standing behind a register, he wore an apron and a hat atop his head. Naruto looked around and noticed that there were mares and stallions sitting at several tables located throughout the building; mares still giggling and looking his way; and colts were still eyeballing him with envious stares. Still, he had no idea why, but when the mares waved at him he waved back to avoid being seen as rude. Naruto watched as Twilight approached the pony and greeted him. “Good Morning Mr. Cake.” “Morning Twilight, Spike, Rainbow Dash.” Mr. Cake looked past Twilight to see Naruto. “Who’s your friend?” “This is Naruto, he’s new to Ponyville.” “Pleasure to meet you Naruto,” Mr. Cake said with a smile and a tip of his hat. “So, what can I get you folks today?” “Oooh, ooh, I want a cinnamon bun,” Rainbow Dash blurted as she hopped into the air with excitement and began hovering. “I want a Topaz Milkshake,” Spike chimed in as he licked his lips with his draconic tongue. “Hold on you two, why don’t we let Naruto order first?” Twilight suggested with a bit of a nervous laugh as she looked back at Naruto. “You can order whatever you like, my treat.” “Are you sure Twilight? I’d hate to stiff you with a big bill.” “Nonsense,” Twilight laughed as she waved a hoof. “Just go ahead and tell Mr. Cake what you’d like.” “How about I give you a menu and let you decide?” the earth pony dug around the back of the counter for awhile before pulling out a pink menu which seemed to be decorated as colorful as the building. “Unfortunately, I just have this old one, Pinkie Pie knows where the newer ones are.” Naruto took the menu in his mouth with a look of glee and made his way to an empty table. “Speaking of which, where is Pinkie Pie?” Twilight asked. It had only just occurred to her that Pinkie wasn’t the one behind the counter like usual. “She went off with Rarity to run a delivery to Zecora, she should be back soon.” “In the Everfree Forest? Isn’t that a bit danger—“ “Hey Twilight, I’m ready to order!” Naruto yelled from his table with a huge grin on his face. “I think I’ll try out one of everything!” Twilight’s jaw dropped after hearing her new friend’s words. Rainbow Dash just gave her a nudge and made a sly remark. “Well you said he could have whatever he’d like,” Rainbow laughed. Pinkie Pie bounced as she always did, leading the way through the dense forest with Rarity following close behind. The Everfree Forest wasn’t a place visited lightly, unlike the rest of Equestria, animals in the forest fend for themselves; plants grow wildly on their own; and the weather changes without the aid of pegasi. “Thanks again for coming along with me to make my delivery Rarity,” Pinkie said in an upbeat cheerful tone. “Don’t mention it, while it isn’t my choice of scenery, it’s always nice to get out of the boutique every once in awhile.” Rarity looked down at her back hind leg and kicked off some mud which was on her hoof. “Though I probably should’ve worn something best suited for outdoor conditions.” Rarity then took notice that her surroundings didn’t seem familiar, though she never frequents the Everfree Forest anyway. “Um Pinkie Pie, are you sure we’re going the right way?” “Yea-huh, at least I think so,” the pink earth pony stopped her bouncing and looked around for a moment before continuing forward. “Rarity, I just want you to know that we’re about to be attacked by a pack of Timberwolves and the only reason behind it is to further advance the story’s plot.” “What ever do you mean?!” Rarity cried out in fright. Her words were soon drowned out by the loud howling of the Everfree Forest’s most dangerous predators: Timberwolves. “Come on slowpoke,” Pinkie said as she began galloping forward straight ahead. There were a total of eight wolves which followed dangerously close behind the two ponies at great speed. Pinkie and Rarity turned off a dirt road in an attempt to lose the pack, but the wolves wouldn’t be swayed so easily and continued their chase. Rarity began to scream as she felt and smelt the warm rancid breath of the pack leader who snapped a bite at her. Her and Pinkie’s fear only began to grow as the dirt road they traveled along came to the end of a large ravine. “Sure would be nice to have a pegasus right about now,” Rarity said as she and her friend slowly backed up to the edge and watched the wolves move forward slowly. “Stand back Rarity, I got this!” Pinkie declared confidently as she stepped forward with her party cannon at the ready to fire. She pulled the rope but instead of firing the cannon made a deflating flatulence like noise, the wolves stared on confused for a few seconds. “What!? I know I refilled the confetti in my cannon this morning, curse you writer for needing a point of conflict!” Pinkie cursed as she held a hoof to the sky. The Timberwolves moved forward slowly with a ravenous look on their faces, licking their wooden muzzles in the process. “I fear this may be the end darling,” Rarity said as she held her friend and shook with fear. “Nah, just give it a minute,” Pinkie laughed, leaving Rarity in a state of bewilderment. As the pack leader of the wolves leaped forward to make an advance, a lone earth pony blocked his path. The earth pony bucked the wolf and sent him colliding with the other members of the pack; he then put his two hooves together and made a strange gesture as he stood on his back hind legs. “Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu!” A giant blaze of fire emerged from the pony’s mouth and took the form of a dragon’s head, the blaze then traveled forward at a rapid speed and set two of the wolves ablaze. The two wolves began whining as the scurried off away and back into the forest, two more wolves retreated with them; however, the last remaining four where determined to feed as they charged the pony. It was then that the mysterious stranger reached his back for his weapon, he unsheathed his katana like blade which he held in his mouth and charged the wolves. He jumped over the lead wolf and landed in the center of the four, he then made a quick slash at their ankles and brought three of the wolves down, causing them to be left in nothing but a pile of sticks. The last wolf however, was relentless as he continued past the newcomer and advanced toward Rarity and Pinkie Pie once more. He made a final leap for the two but was soon engulfed in an explosion of black flames which seemed to materialize out of thin air. The timberwolf fell to the ground, now a lifeless burning pile of wood. The two damsels which were no longer in distress looked over at the stranger who had rescued them. He sheathed his sword once more behind him where it stayed held in place by a pair of large purple belt like roping which wrapped around his waist along with a pair of dark blue pants. His top attire was a grey short-sleeved, zippered, high collared shirt with a unique insignia on the back and dark blue wrist warmers on his hooves. His dark haired mane seemed to spike in the back and he had bangs which hung at the side of his face. He was panting due to some form of exhaustion, his eyes were as red as fire rubies and appeared to have strange markings and pupils within them. Though, it was his left eye which brought concern as it had a bit of blood which ran down the side of the stallion’s face. “Wow thanks stranger,” Pinkie exclaimed as she and Rarity rushed up to the earth pony to express their gratitude. “Darling, your eye! Are you alright?” Rarity asked as she stared at the stallion’s left eye. “It’s nothing,” he said as he wiped away the faint trace of blood from his face. Rarity was now captivated in the earth pony’s beauty, she felt her heart skip a beat as she became flustered and began blushing. His red eyes soon changed to an obsidian black, he than began walking away from the two mares. “Oooh, are you a wizard? Is that how you were able to cast all those spells? But how do you perform magic if you’re an earth pony? If you’re an earth pony than you shouldn’t be allowed to—” Rarity placed a hoof over her fast talking friend’s mouth and attempted to silence the pink mare. “What my friend is trying to say darling, is thanks for saving our flanks back there,” Rarity watched as the stallion just continued walking without saying a word; Rarity and Pinkie Pie soon picked up the pace and followed behind him. “Are you perhaps lost darling? Is there anything we can do to help?” “Yeah, get lost,” the dark haired pony shot back in a cold tone. He kept trotting forward and looking around his surroundings for anymore threats that the forest might conceal. “So what’s your name stranger?” Pinkie asked as she bounced beside the trotting pony. He hesitated at first, as if annoyed by the question itself, either that or Pinkie’s presence. “Sasuke Uchiha,” he said, his tone still as cold as the barren lands of the Frozen North. He made a left turn at a fork in the road and continued on his way, speaking as little as possible; and when he did speak, it was usually short and to the point. “Well I’m Pinkie Pie, and this here,” Pinkie said as she wrapped a hoof around Rarity’s neck and brought her in close. “And this here is Rarity.” Sasuke simply appeared to ignore the words of Pinkie and made another turn on a dirt road which exited the forest and into a grassy clearing. In the distance, Sasuke could see a colorful town and made his way toward it’s location. “Are you going to Ponyville? We live there ya know? Of course you didn’t know because you’ve never been there,” Pinkie paused for a moment as she let out a long over exaggerated gasp. “You have to go there! You can meet all my friends, oh but you’ve already met Rarity so that’s one less pony you have—” “Pinkie Pie,” Sasuke stated in a stern yet calm tone. “Yeeesss?” Pinkie sang back. “Your annoying,” Sasuke said as he looked back at the pink earth pony who smiled at him and shot her an unpleasant glare. He then looked past Pinkie and towards the unicorn who accompanied her, Rarity began blushing as Sasuke looked in her direction. “Rarity, is there a place in that town where I might be able to gain knowledge on this land?” “Well yes, a friend of ours actually works in the library ther—” Sasuke took off galloping toward Ponyville before Rarity could finish her sentence. “Hey, wait up!” As the three ponies galloped off for Ponyville, they were unaware that their actions were being monitored, much like a snake waiting for an opportune moment to strike against a weak foe. “Is that him?” “Yeah, that’s Sasuke Uchiha.” “Are you sure?” “There’s no doubt about it, he fits the description that Queen Chrysalis gave us. Send word to the hive right away.” Chrysalis entered the chamber, it was dark, cold, and a single hooded figure stood in the center with a large wooden table before him. However, it was the rancid smell which made Chrysalis want to vomit; the strong stench of iron and death stung her nostrils and provoked a strong feeling nauseousness. As she drew closer to where Kabuto was 'experimenting', Chrysalis could now hear the slicing, sloshing, and gushing sounds of Kabuto's dissection; the sound of slicing flesh filled the room and only made her feel even worse. She could see several sharp tools, knives and scalpels, laid out on the table as well. "Kabuto, several of my spies have informed me that Sasuke Uchiha has been spotted outside of Ponyville. Though, he doesn’t look like you, but an earth pony instead." Chrysalis watched as Kabuto placed down a scalpel and turned around to face her. He was wiping his hands with a cloth which was white with crimson red spot blotches all over it. “Well, that was quick, and I see that he’s suffered a transformation from coming to this world unlike myself. And how was that book gathering?” “I have several changelings stealthily stealing books from the royal library in Canterlot as we speak and another team awaiting outside of Ponyville. I shall order them to strike and capture Sasuke along with more books in the Ponyville library.” “No,” Kabuto interjected as he began making hand signs. “Just recover the books, I’ll see to Sasuke myself.” Kabuto clapped his hands together, as if to say a prayer; suddenly, a large coffin emerged from the ground and sat upright. “I’ve been wanting to perform some alternative experiments.” “What in the wide world of Equestria is that?” Chrysalis questioned as she moved toward the coffin. “Have you already prepared this for a burial ceremony?” “No, as a matter of fact, this coffin is already occupied.” Just as Kabuto said this, the casket lid fell, exposing the changeling corpse which was inside. It’s eyes appeared hollow and it’s skin color was greyer than its usual black. “This jutsu is a forbidden one that calls forth and reanimates the dead to the world of the living. It is known as the Reanimation Jutsu. The changeling you see before you is actually the dead one which is lying on the examination table. After performing my little autopsy I’ve learned the anatomy of your species and have enhanced this one’s abilities, but he’s not the only one.” Kabuto clapped his hands one more time which caused the lid on the casket to close, then, it receded back into the earth. “That’s not the only trick I have up my sleeve, be patient Chrysalis. If all goes well, you’ll be the new ruler of this land.” Kabuto licked his lips as though thinking of some delicious dessert. “And I’ll have Sasuke.” > Chapter: 3 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sasuke dug through several stacks of books that he had requested Pinkie Pie to retrieve for him, he had no knowledge of Equestria and one of the main things being a shinobi has taught him was to be familiar with your surroundings; one simple misunderstanding in a foreign land could easily mean the start of an unintended war, though it's not like the Uchiha were uninitiated with battle, they practically craved it. Sasuke however was different, he appeared calm and collective in most situations and never was one to fight a pointless battle. He analyzed every situation to form a winning formula nearly every time he has fought, that is of course when he doesn't allow his emotions to get the best of him; even mentioning Itachi's name in an undesirable tone could ignite his anger and send him into a malicious frenzy. "There's not enough," Sasuke sighed with disappointment as he closed one of the books and stuffed it into a saddle bag which Rarity recognized as Twilight's. "Hey, you two, is there another library around here, someplace which would have more information?" "What about the books here?" Rarity asked as she approached him still eyeing her friend's bag he still carried. "I thought they were what you wanted?" "Please," Sasuke scoffed as he placed another book within the bag. "Most of the books here are a joke, their more like how-to guides then actual works of informational literature; Its like they were written for children. Is there another library around here, one which might be bigger than this one?" "There's the Royal Library in Canterlot, I know it has way, way, waaaay more books than Twilight's library," Pinkie chimed in as she bounced toward the grinning earth pony. "Canterlot? Is it close by?" "Yup, its Equestria's capital, we can take a trian from here in Ponyville and be there in no time." "Maybe your not as useless as I thought Pinkie," Sasuke said with a smug laugh as he watched her give him a salute while she continued to bounce around the library. Sasuke then eyed the unicorn in the room, "Rarity, can you take me there?" "Hey! I'm the one who told you!" Pinkie protested as she stopped bouncing and crossed her hooves while pouting at Sasuke. "That may be Pinkie, but your still annoying. I'm actually not sure how much more of you I can take." "Why I ought to," Pinkie rolled up her arm as though she was rolling up a sleeve. She and Sasuke stepped forward ready to battle, thank Celestia Rarity was there to intervene. "If, you wish to go to Canterlot, then I suggest we be on our way now," Rarity chimed in with a nervous laugh as she pulled her friend back to put some distance between the two ponies. "We can catch the train if we leave now," Rarity raised an brow at Sasuke, "That is unless you'd rather stay her bickering?" Sasuke scoffed at the unicorn's question, "Whatever, let's go." Sasuke followed Rarity and Pinkie out of the door, with Pinkie making an I'm-keeping-an-eye-on-you gesture with her hoof. As they exited the library, a suspicious group of ponies followed carefully behind, trying their best to blend. Twilight and Rainbow Dash watched, both their expressions frozen in a scene of shock with the pegasus having a grin mixed in. Naruto had just finished the last Cinnamon Bun on his plate, on the table before him lay plate upon plate of empty now dirty dishwear. He gave a belch of satisfactory as he leaned back in his chair and rubbed the small bulge on his stomach gently. "He ordered everything," Twilight said in disbelief, "He ordered everything and he ate everything." "He's got the appetite of a dragon," Spike commented with a laugh as he helped Mr. Cake remove the empty plates from Naruto's table. "He sure must have been hungry." "I've never seen a pony other than Pinkie Pie eat THAT much food," Rainbow giggled as she hovered near the earth pony. "So, what do you think of Equestrian food?" "It's no ramen from Ichiraku," Naruto gave another belch, this one louder than the earlier, he apologized and then continued. "But it was pretty good, though I don't think eating nothing but sweets is very healthy." "Naruto!" The earth pony quickly snapped out of his laugh with the pegasus as he heard a familiar voice beckon his name in a demanding tone, there was only one individual who would speak in such a tone. "Oh, hey Kurama! You finally done napping?" Rainbow Dash and Twilight just looked at Naruto in confusion, curious as to who he was talking to. "Dude, my names Rainbow Dash, we've been over this." "Stop gorging yourself in pastries! Have you found out why we're here?" Naruto closed his eyes, when he opened them, he found himself inside the space of his subconscious where his Jinchuriki partner awaited him; his usual glare was soon replaced by absolute shock as he stared down at the 'new' Naruto and his tiny form. "What the hell has happened to your body? Is this some new transformation jutsu?" "Are you nuts!? I'd never transform myself into a form like this by choice!" Naruto took a moment to look at himself in water below his hooves, gazing long at his reflection. "When we first got here, whenever that was, I woke up like this. I don't know what happened or how and I currently don't know how to change back." "Hmmm, so that would explain why I felt a change in our chakra network when we first got here, I thought your body felt smaller, I guess this was the reason.” “Is that why I couldn’t make any Shadow Clones earlier then?” “Yes, as you already know, Chakra flows through your body just as blood does. Your Chakra Network is usually stable, however, your body is now smaller and because of this, Chakra control will be difficult for you. You have more chakra inside yourself than your new body would allow, meaning, if you try to perform any jutsu, you could end up releasing more chakra than is necessary; I shouldn’t have to remind you what happens if you run out of chakra.” Naruto swallowed hard, he knew what Kurama was referring to. In the ninja world, running out of chakra was like stopping your body from circulating blood and oxygen, in short; run out of chakra and your life would end. “That also means you can’t use my chakra so much either, since we can’t determine just yet how much to distribute, the results could be fatal.” “So what your saying is that I have to relearn chakra control ALL OVER AGAIN!?” Naruto face hoofed himself and let out a defeated sigh. “Great.” “Unless you can find a way to change back into your human form than—” the mighty Fox paused for a moment as he felt something, something which disturbed him. “Naruto, tell your friends to prepare themselves, something is coming this way.” “Yeah, I can feel it, in great numbers too, I have to go.” “Remember what I said, be careful if you perform any jutsu, especially your Shadow Clones.” “Helloooo? Equestria to Naruto?” Rainbow Dash waved a hoof in front of Naruto’s face, he was just talking moments before until he closed his eyes and sat in silence. “There’s no way he’s sleeping, right?” “I don’t know,” Twilight began as she was examining the seated pony from every angle, trying to find the source of his odd paralysis. “I’ve never seen somepony just fall asleep like that, maybe he’s undergone a form of meditation.” Just then, Naruto’s eyes s snapped open and his playful demeanor was changed to an expression of utmost sternness. “You guys, there’s something coming, I don’t know what it is, but it doesn’t feel good.” “What the hay are you talking about?” Rainbow asked, she would have continued her questioning; but screams from outside of Sugar Cube Corner caused the three ponies along with Spike to rush outside. Outside, Ponyville was in a state of mass panic with several loud buzzing noises overhead. Flying around the small town was a large swarm of changelings, raiding homes and carrying away tools and books which they had taken from the library. “Changelings!” Rainbow Dash growled as a group of the insect like creatures flew by. “Change what?” Naruto exclaimed as he watched the creatures whizzing around the town. “Their evil creatures that can change their appearance and feed on love.” Twilight shot a beam from her horn and shot a group of changelings out of the town. “We have to expel them from the town.” “I got the one’s up here!” Rainbow said as she dashed off into the air. “I’ll help anyway I can,” Naruto exclaimed as he ran beside Twilight. “I’ve been a little out of shape anyway, I could use a good workout.” Twilight stopped as she gazed at the large amount of changelings that had flooded into the town and began to frighten the residents. Even the group she had launched out of Ponyville had returned and even appeared in greater numbers. “There’s too many of them! At this right….Ponyville will be—” “Shadow Clone Jutsu!” Twilight looked over to see Naruto with his hooves clapped together, but she wasn’t just seeing one, she was staring at two identical earth ponies with the exact same features. ‘Damn it, I tried to focus my chakra and I was only able to make one clone, this is bad.’ “Naruto—but what and how—?” “I told ya before, I’m a shinobi who can perform ninjutsu and my Shadow Clone technique is one of the many jutsus I can do.” Naruto looked at Twilight who was frozen in disbelief at how he was able to perform such a feat. “I guess you could say it’s kinda like your magic and spells. I can usually make more in my original body, but I can’t make as many while I’m stuck like this.” “Original body?” Twilight asked as she was still frozen, without a moments notice, Twilight found herself being tackled to the ground by the earth pony. “What—what are you doing!?” Twilight stammered with a slight blush. Just then a changeling swooped by, it’s wings cutting the air of where Twilight’s head once was. “That thing almost took your head off,” Naruto explained as he helped the young mare stand once more, he then looked to his clone and gave himself a nod. “Alright, it’s time to squash some bugs.” Sasuke, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity all sat aboard an empty train coach; Sasuke with his hooves crossed and his eyes closed, Pinkie humming a tune and bounding around as she usually does, and Rarity sitting across from Sasuke staring at him intently. Sasuke’s eyes shot open which in turn caused Rarity to divert her gaze elsewhere and whistle a harmless tune. Sasuke looked around the coach and took notice of the time on a nearby clock, it was evident to him that the three of them have been waiting for the train to depart from the station for almost half an hour now and something inside of him told him something was up. “Something’s not right,” Sasuke began as he hopped out of his seat. “We’ve been waiting for the train to take off for awhile now, furthermore, I haven’t seen a single passenger board this train other than us.” “Maybe their just slow today,” Rarity pondered as she pulled out a mirror and began examining her features, mainly her hair. “Then again, something does seem quite odd.” “Everypony, I think I know why we haven’t left yet,” Pinkie commented as she pulled on a string which controlled the blinds to the train window. When she did, numerous insect looking ponies were flying around the station, terrorizing innocent ponies. “We have a bit of a changeling infestation.” “Changelings!?” Rarity gasped as she raised a hoof to her head to make a fainting gesture. “What are those disgusting, vile creatures doing her?” “It kinda looks like their looking for something,” a terrified and screaming unicorn ran by the window as Pinkie watched. “And their scaring everypony in Ponyville.” “If those things are eliminated, will we be able to go to Canterlot then?” Sasuke asked as he looked out the window by Rarity’s seat. “I would imagine so, but I’m still wondering why—” Rarity stopped as she watched Sasuke run out of the train coach with her pink earth pony friend bouncing behind him. “Yay! We’re off to save Ponyville!” Pinkie giggled as she followed out behind Sasuke. “Come on Rarity, it’ll be fun.” The pale unicorn let out a defeated sigh and then hopped out of her seat. “Why can’t anypony be reasonable?” The earth pony cowered in a corner of the train terminal as three ravenous looking changelings stalked the powerless creature, slowly approaching as they licked their muzzles. “Mmm, I can taste her love already, it’s mouth watering,” one of the creatures spoke as they neared the frightened pony. “Deformed hooves off!” one of the three snapped. “I saw her first so I get first dibs.” “I’m the eldest here, so I say I get served first,” the third added. “Respect your elders, right?” “Just cause you hatched a minute before we did doesn’t mean anything!” “Enough!” the middle changeling snapped as he hit the other two on their heads. “Let’s just dig in while we can, this raid isn’t going to last forever, ya know.” The other two creatures nodded in agreement with the third, they then licked their muzzles once more as their sharp horns began to glow. Their dinner was interrupted abruptly by Sasuke who had appeared before the three; he delivered swift punches to the duo and a hard kick in the muzzle to the middle third. The changelings jumped back, due to both pain and shock. “Th—thank you,” the frightened mare stammered as she shook. “Thank you so much.” “What are you still doing here?” Sasuke asked, beginning to get aggravated with the scared pony. “Get out of here while you can!” The earth pony jumped at her rescuer’s sudden bark, but then realized it was safer elsewhere and ran off. “Hey! You just cost us lunch, now your gonna get it!” one of the changelings growled as he and his two brothers recovered and now moved closer to Sasuke’s location. Sasuke’s natural response kicked in, triggering him to activate his sharingan; the changeling trio quickly took notic of this. "Wait a sec, those eyes and his weird clothes, are you Sasuke Uchiha?" "Who wants to know?" the earth pony shot back with a glare. "Your the one we're looking for, your coming with us!" The three changelings rushed Sasuke, when they did, there was a loud high pitched sound which rang through the air; the crescendo sounded like many birds chirping all at once. "Chidori Stream!" Sasuke's body was quickly covered in lightning as he extended the attack all around him, causing his attackers to feel a surge of pain and then stop in their tracks. "I--I can't move!" "Me neither!" "Me three!" Now that his attackers were incapacitated, he quickly reached for the blade which rested behind him; taking the blade in mouth, he rushed forward to his targets and got ready to deliver the finishing blow, until a certain pink mare stood in his way. "Wait! Pinkie Pie cried as she stood between the changelings and Sasuke using herself as a shield. "You can't kill them!" "Pinkie Pie get out of my way," Sasuke spoke with his katana between his gritted teeth. "If their a threat to this village than the natural thing to do is to destroy them, they're threatining the lives of everyone here." "Is that how they do things where your from? That's horrible!" "I'ts how I do things, if something or someone gets in my way I cut them down...it doesn't matter who." Sasuke sheathed his weapon once more quickly and pushed the mare out if the way of an incoming object; it grazed Pinkie's arm and became lodged in Sasuke's front foreleg as he raised it to protect himself. Pinkie took a look at the knife like weapon, but it wasn't like the kitchen knives she had seen before. "A kunai? What is this doing here?" "Oh my gosh are you alright!?" Pinkie gasped with conscern as she watched the blood leak out from Sasuke's wound, he pulled out the blade and stifled a pained grunt in doing so. "Your bleeding." "I'm fine, I've been through worse." Sasuke watched as the three changelings he had stopped before were gone and in their place stood a single changeling, this one of different color, it's shade slightly grayer and its eyes appeared to be glazed over and hollow; almost as if devoid of consciencesness. Two wooden coffins shot out of the earth next to the where the changeling stood, the lids fell open and out stepped two more changelings who looked exactly like the one already present. 'It can't be.......that's Orochimaru's Forbidden Reanimation Jutsu! But if those things are reanimations.....then that means...' "What the heck! Are those things zombies or something!?" Pinkie cried out as she watched the three reanimations move forward slowly. "As much as I hate to say this," Sasuke began as he stood next to the pink earth pony. "I'm going to need your help with these guys, they're not like the ones from earlier. We can’t just destroy them, we’ll have to seal them, but that doesn’t mean we should hold back. I’ll take the lead and you follow what I say, understood?” “Okie, dokie, lokie.” Naruto delivered another punch to a changeling’s muzzle, his clone followed up with Naruto taking him by the hoof and swinging him which gave his clone more power for his kick; sending the changeling flying back, but when one was defeated, more just came. “Man, how many of these things are there?” Naruto asked as he panted like a tired dog who had been running all day. “I’m not sure how much more I can—” Naruto was interrupted by a high pitched screamed which he recognized as one of his new pony friends. “Rainbow Dash!” another screamed accompanied Rainbow’s which he recalled was Twilight. A large wave of changelings quickly washed over the earth pony, drowning him underneath the immense number of creatures. ‘Damn it! This is really bad!’ Naruto thought to himself as he felt his clone fade. ‘I….I can’t even—’. “We almost have everything sir, we’re just waiting on the Canterlot team to give us the go. And what’s even better is that Sasuke Uchiha is currently in the process of being apprehended.” Naruto immediately derailed his train of thought at the mention of his friend’s name being spoken by two nearby changelings. “Good,” an armored changeling who was clearly the one in charge of the raid spoke. “We’re just about done here, all that’s left is to—” “Get off of me!” Naruto shouted as he tried to climb out of the massive amount of changelings who had piled on top of the earth pony. "You creeps, what do you want with Sasuke?!” “What is that?” the commending changeling asked. “Nothing sir, just a bit of a nuisance, but we have the situation all under—” “HHRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGG!!!!” Naruto’s roar began to grow in volume, first it doubled, then it tripled, soon the large pile of changelings exploded with numerous identical looking earth ponies spilling out yelling. “If it’s a numbers game you want, than you got it!” Twilight who had found herself surrounded now stared at the many Naruto’s who were all running in various directions and attacking any changelings which crossed their path. Twilight took the opportunity she was given and attacked the changelings who had surrounded her as they were distracted by Naruto’s antics. “Hey you!” a group of charging Naruto’s yelled as they made their way to the armored changeling who was in charge. “Tell us where Sasuke is!” “What kind of spell is this!?” the changeling exclaimed in fear at the vast number of earth ponies before him. “There’s too many of him! How is this even possible!?” “Sir, it would probably be wise to fall back, that earth pony and his magical duplicates are spreading like a wildfire,” began the creature’s subordinate with a frightened expression. “We already have all the materials that the Queen and Kabuto have asked for, perhaps we should—” “RETREAT!” the commander screamed at the top of his lungs, doing so caused every other changelings deformed ears to perk up and listen, the immediately began flying away from Ponyville, but not without an mass of Naruto’s giving chase. “Hey get back here!” they group of Orange earth ponies yelled in unison as they tried to give chase to the fleeing creatures. “Naruto wait!” Twilight exclaimed as she stood in front of the stampeding group causing them to hall their gallop abruptly. Twilight looked at the group, trying to make out which was the original and which was the clone. “Oh no, this is Pinkie Pie all over again,” she moaned. Naruto must have heard Twilight’s plea because the earth ponies quickly began disappearing in small explosive puffs of smoke until there was only one that was left standing. “Hehehehe, my bad, I might’ve gone a bit overboard,” Naruto laughed as he scratched the back of his head, he quickly snapped back to a serious tone as he continued. “Those things, they were talking about a friend of mine, I think they might know where he is and I have to find him.” “Naruto! Dude! That was awesome!” Rainbow Dash exclaimed while landing beside the earth pony and giving him a hoof bump. “Your not a unicorn but you can do magic?” “I guess you could call it that,” Naruto replied in a low tone with his goofy grin returning once more. “I could do a whole lot more but right now I’m…” Naruto paused for a moment as his eyes began to dilate. “I’m feeling kinda light headed.” “Maybe we should take you to the hospital,” Twilight began as the three began to trot slowly. “You’ve done enough for now.” Sasuke jumped aboard the top of the still train, quickly pursued by the three changelings who continued their relentless attack. Sasuke dodged several punches and kicks and than jumped back to put some distance between him and his opponents. He began to focus his chakra to his left hand, with his chakra condensing and his Chidori beginning to form; it soon faded away as he realized he didn’t have enough chakra to perform the jutsu. That was when his eyes changed back to their normal black, and he began to pant due to exhaustion. Seeing this as an opportunity to strike, the changelings flew at the pony only to be greeted by a cannon of confetti blasting them back. “Is that….your only weapon?” Sasuke asked as he raised a brow at Pinkie who smiled back as she stood in front of him. “It’s not a weapon silly, it’s a party cannon. Can’t you tell?” Pinkie giggled at Sasuke’s glare, knowing that he didn’t care for her presence yet she was just trying to be his friend. Pinkie turned her head as she heard the rapid buzzing of wings, when she got ready to fire her cannon a second time, the three changelings stopped moving in mid air; the now open caskets appeared once more and drew back the creatures before resealing themselves and disappearing again. “Did we win?” “No, whoever summoned them just recalled them back,” Sasuke realized his wound was still bleeding and ripped off a piece of his clothing and bandaged it in an attempt to stop the bleeding. ‘First kunai and now forbidden ninjutsu? There’s no doubt about it, someone from my world is here too, someone who apparently has adapted better than I have.’ “Oh my gosh, are you still hurt?” Pinkie asked as she examined Sasuke’s bandaged injury. “Come on, Ponyville has a hospital not far from here.” “It seems like Naruto and Sasuke are still capable even in their new bodies.” Kabuto was in the process of creating a strange concoction which he crushed several items and blended them in a bowl. “Is that a problem? I thought they’d be easier to get rid of?” Chrysalis asked, a hint of irritation detected in her voice. “They seem to be in the company of a well skilled sorceress, a purple unicorn.” “Twilight Sparkle!” Chrysalis hissed through gritted teeth of anger. “They have already come into contact with Twilight and her friends, that can’t bode well for our goals.” “You shouldn’t underestimate me,” Kabuto began as he placed the medicine he had created into a paper and wrapped it up. “I told you, I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve, but perhaps you should tell me more about the individuals that you think are a concern.” “Apologies for interrupting my queen,” a changeling stated as he entered the dimly lit chamber. “Word from the Canterlot team, we have retrieved the books as Kabuto has requested, but unfortunately four of the team were captured by a certain chaos spirit.” “Discord? What was he doing in Canterlot?” Chrysalis’ anger only began to grow with each new factor that appeared to intervene with her plans; in her mind, things were falling apart at the seams. “And how are you going to combat a creature with power beyond anything you’ve ever seen? A creature who has the power to reshape reality itself?” Kabuto placed down the medicine bowl and tool he was using, he then proceeded to face the changeling queen and clapped his hands together allowing another coffin to rise from the earth. Kabuto stepped forward and placed a pale hand on the coffin, smiling deviously as he did. “Another one of your….reanimations?” Chrysalis questioned as she approached the massive coffin, noticing that this one seemed different than the others somehow. “Your catching on quite well, but this is no normal reanimation; this one is unique and has required a great deal of attention in my world. He may not be this Discord fellow, but he’s more than enough to take out anything that may be thrown our way.” “You sound so sure of yourself Kabuto, but you must not underestimate Princess Celestia or Discord.” “There is a tale in my world that is as old as time,” Kabuto began, his demeanor now a stern one. “A legend, if you would, that tells of a sage who was able to utilize every form in chakra nature and knew as well as created countless jutsu; this sage was known as The Sage of Six Paths, a man revered as a god where I come from.” “And you carry this…..sage, this god, in here?” Chrysalis placed a deformed hoof on the large coffin, something about it made her feel uneasy, something ominous. “Not exactly, but the man who rests within this coffin is the closest thing to a god that we’ll see.” “Then why not use him now, why wait? We could have Equestria and this….. Sasuke now!” “As I said before, this reanimation is very special and requires the utmost attention; I haven’t finished it yet. Furthermore, his body has apparently undergone a similar transformation from entering this world; he may prove well right now but I want him at his one hundred percent best before I put him in the action.” Kabuto readjusted his glasses and clapped his hands again to recede the coffin back to it’s resting place. “This is why I need medical books for improving his physical abilities and also your help to transform him back into his original form; I’m more than sure you can manage a spell to do so.” “It may require more magic than what we have,” Chrysalis began to tap her chin with a hoof, “But, I think I know somepony who can help us.”
