> My Best Friend Is A God > by Prince_Zodiac > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Chapter One: Adding A God Into The Story > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter One: Adding A God Into The Story In the void, there are a considerable amount of beings that call this place home. Currently, two of those beings were watching two eldritch abominations duke it out in a battle to the death. The indescribable creatures fought tooth, nail, wing, tentacle, some weird, eye, antennae… thing, tail and body, trying to obtain victory, The first beast punched out with a stone covered, what is that, a pimple? I don’t, a stone covered... something. Anyways, it struck out with this odd body part and landed a strike to the face. I think. I mean, it hit it in the spot between two of its many eyes so~. Well anyways, the second beast attacked with a massive claw (yes, it’s a claw, I’m sure of it) creating a huge gash down the first creatures front. It wailed in pain before it went limp. The second monster roared in victory. “Aw, dammit!” One of the two godly beings cried. This one was a dark figure, with its yellow eyes the only visible thing on his body. He was covered by a greenish blue shirt, green and white vertical striped pants with a brown belt, brown pointy shoes, white gloves, a blue cape tied on by a long red ribbon, a yellow hat, and a wooden staff. This, was Prince Zodiac. “Ha ha! You lost Zodi!” The other jeered. This one took on the form of a mix between a Gardevoir, a Mismagius, and a Chandelure. It was black with a small hat that was made with blue fire, and so was the inside of this guy’s clothing. This, was Pyra Flare. “Yeah yeah whatever. You won the almighty bet of two random beasts fighting, big whoop.” “Actually Zodiac, it is a big whoop considering that I won the bet, you have to complete any challenge I give to you.” Zodiac looked at his godly companion. He knew Pyra would choose something ridiculous, which was why he was reluctant to make this bet in the first place. Then Pyra said that he would admit that Zodiac had the better displaced along with the favor, and he was all for it. “Ugh… dammit. Alright what do I have to do?” Pyra put a hand to his chin and thought for a moment. After a few seconds, he snapped his fingers, clearly having an idea. Zodiac could almost see the lightbulb above his head. “I’ve got it!” He turned to Zodiac. “You have to stay in a universe of my choosing for a hundred years.” Zodiac just looked at him. A hundred years? That was nothing! Why would he-  “Wait did you say in a universe of your choosing?” Pyra simply nodded. Oh, that was why. “Well shit. Alright, where do you want me to go?” Pyra snapped his fingers, and every universe he ever made appeared around him. He looked at his collection of realities, trying to figure out just where he was going to send his almighty friend. After a bit of searching, his eyes fell onto one universe that he had taken quite the liking to. ’Perfect,’ he thought. He grabbed the universe and held it out to Zodiac. “I want you to stay in this universe.” “Um, wouldn’t my presence mess with its divine path that you set it on?” “Hmm? Oh yeah huh? Well, a simple problem calls for a simple solution.” He grabbed the edges of that universe, and pulled it apart. He now had two universes, both exactly the same. But now, it was time to change one of them. It was time to add something. And what better to add… … than a god? In the mortal world ‘Ok, you've gone over the plan a hundred times Treble, you know what you need to do when you get there,’ a young man thought while riding his motorcycle along the empty highway in the middle of the night. ‘Get to them individually, don't let them know who you are until the right moment.’ He pulled off of the highway and into the city below. Meet Treble Clef, twin brother of Vinyl Scratch. His helmet covered up his hair, which was styled like Vinyls but was made up of red and white. “You know Treble, you’ve got one hell of a plan. I must say I hope it goes well.” Floating next to him was Zodiac, you know, the god we talked about before? Well in any case, he was flying alongside Treble, not really caring about the fact that he might be seen. Of course, there was the fact that he could make himself invisible to any and all mortals if he chose, so there wasn’t really any danger of him getting caught. ‘Oh, hey Zodiac. I thought you said you weren’t going to be able to follow me for a while.’ Treble pulled over onto the sidewalk and killed his bikes engine, coming to a stop to talk to his old friend. “Yes well, turns out my trip to the moon took a lot less time than I thought it would.” ‘Not surprised to be honest, you always expect things to take longer than they actually do. What did you do up there anyways?’’ “Oh not much really. Just spray painted a giant face on the dark side of the moon. Damn, nerds on the other side of the world are gonna start screaming, ‘Majora’s Mask is real! Majora’s Mask is real!’ Perhaps I should have painted something else. Ah whatever, too late now.” Treble just shook his head and set his helmet on the bike and got to his feet. He wore a grey tracksuit while he was out in the cold, his usual wear in a duffle bag on the side of the motorcycle. ‘I have a feeling you get way too much enjoyment out of this kinda stuff Zodiac. I know you're a God and all but you're gonna end up causing world war three at this rate.’ “Are you kidding me? Of course I do! It’s hilarious seeing mortals freak out over nothing. Besides, if I did cause a world war, I can go back and remove the idea from everyone’s mind. At least, I think I can. I forget how much power Pyra’s letting me have over this world.” Not a lot buddy, not a lot. Zodiac just glared at the sky. “Oh quit talking in text you jerk.” No, I don't think I will, you'll just have to suck it up and deal with it, now get back to the story. “Alright, but when Hack Wonder starts saying crap because of you, I am not gonna go along with him.” Oh you will, because I have partial power of this world's writing, and I'll deem it so. “That does not include me! Pyra is best writer!” Zodiac shook his head. “God dammit!” Mess with me again and I'll make you say something dirty about Lisa. Zodiac looked at the sky again. “You wouldn’t dare.” You forget who you're talking to here. “... Fuck.” For the love of me just get back to the story, Treble and the readers are confused enough as it is! ’Um, if you wouldn’t mind telling me who you’re talking to Zodiac?’ Zodiac looked back to his mortal friend. To him, all this had been was Zodiac saying random things to the sky. “Huh? Oh… no one special.” Bullshit! Treble would have pressed on, but then suddenly Zodiac snapped his fingers and Treble could no longer see his bike. Or himself for that matter. He was about to question why when he saw Rarity walk by and into her shop. She hadn’t seen a thing. Both Treble and his bike reappeared and Zodiac glanced at him. “You’re welcome.” Treble sighed in relief, not wanting his cover to be blown just yet. ‘Heh...when Rainbow Dash finds out that I'm gonna be pulling all of this secretive shit I'm going to get a punch in the face, I just know it. Rarity will probably just faint.’ “And Pinkie will play the mission impossible song! Duhn dunh, dunh dunh dun, dunh dunh, dunh dun, Debe debe, debe debe, debe, duh-” Don't continue that song! We don't need this taken down for copyright! “Copyright shmopyright. Those lawyer people can kiss my almighty ass.” I can actually make that happen of you aren't careful~. “NO NO NO! I was just making a joke. Please don’t.” Keep behaving and I might just let that slide. Can we get back on track please? “Yeah yeah. So Treble, where are we going? Shall I make a bush into the secret portal to a massive castle that floats in Earth's atmosphere?” ‘Nah, I've already gotten in touch with my old friend Discord, he's letting me stay at his place for awhile.’ “Discord eh? Wonder what would happen if I-” Give him his powers and all hell breaks lose. “I’ll fix it later.” And what then? Pinkie and whatever other fourth wall breaker will still remember, no matter what you do. “... Right~. Welp, then I guess I’ll leave well enough alone. By the way, you’ll get spotted by someone tomorrow. Don’t worry, it’s not one of your friends, at least not yet, and yes you are supposed to get spotted by her. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to watch nerds freak out about Majora’s Moon.” ‘What did I say about telling me things that will happen later in my life? I want to experience them without notice beforehand.’ “Hey don’t worry! I didn't give anything that big away. Besides, all you do is hold a finger to your lips to let her know not to tell anyone. Not that big of a deal.” ‘Still, even if it's the smallest of details, I want to experience them myself. If you know everything or anything that's going to happen to you in life, what's the point of living?’ Treble asked while putting on his helmet. “Eh, I guess I see your point. Ah well, I’ma get a move on. See ya later Trebs.” And with that, Zodiac disappeared in a flash of light. Treble shook his head and revved up his bike’s engine. ‘I need some normal friends…’ Taking his foot off the pavement he began to ride down the street towards his first stop. Alright, before we get a move on, in the interest of time, and because Zodiac suggested it which I admit this was a good idea, I’m going to introduce the characters now instead of later. At least, the ones that are present... Hah! I can't even joke about that, you'll need to try better than that Zodi, just because I let you write me sometimes doesn't mean I'll let you play me for a fool, it was my idea...don't push me. “What the fuck? No it wasn’t! Screw you Pyra!” 100 eldritch horrors appeared around Zodiac. “Wait what? AHH!” Anyways, let’s start off with the main female character shall we? “Oh god make it stop!” Her name is Sunset Shimmer, and I’m sure all of you know who she is. I mean, we’re all bronies here, right? Well, except for those that are Pegasisters. Don’t want to discriminate. “Can’t… claw out eyes… fast enough!” Anyways, Sunset was just about done getting ready for the day. She had her stuff packed, her clothes on, and everything seemed good to go. She walked out of her apartment, locking the door behind her, and began her short trek to the school that she had many adventures at. Whoever said school was boring was an idiot. At least, in Sunset’s case they were. I mean, she has to deal with magic there. That’s pretty exciting if you ask me. Anyways, as she was walking to school, she saw that her rainbow haired friend with questionable sexual preference was driving up in her car. “Hey Sunset, need a ride?” “No thanks Rainbow, I think I’ll just walk today.” “Alright, your loss.” As Rainbow closed her car’s window, Sunset saw something in her eyes. She couldn’t quite put her finger on it, but something was off about them. Like they were sad for some reason. But before she could ask anything, Rainbow drove off, leaving Sunset to wonder just what was going on, and had a certain track suited someone chuckling. “So, you headed off?” Treble turned to see Zodiac once again next to him. This time though, he looked like he was in a school attire. ’Yep. Hey, how come you’re dressed like that?’ Zodiac shrugged. “Don’t want to miss anything from here on out I guess.” ’Why’s that?’ Zodiac just chuckled. “You’ll find out soon enough.” He then walked off, leaving Treble a bit confused before he rolled his eyes and strolled after his friend.  After a little while they arrived on the campus of Canterlot High. Zodiac stopped Treble and pointed out his old friends. Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Rarity. They all seemed kind of sad, which lead Sunset, who had just arrived, to ask what was wrong. “Seems like they’re telling her about you. Wanna spring the trap now or later?” ’Later, now’s not the time. If I do it too soon, then I won’t have any fun with it.’ “Having fun with it? Well then Treble I must say I have taught you well.” ’What? What are you talking about? You haven’t taught me crap!’ “Shush, now is not the time to argue with your sensei. We must continue on, before they see us.” Treble just gave him a look, which Zodiac ignored, and then rolled his eyes. And with that Zodiac quickly snuck into the building, with Treble close behind. Principal Celestia was filing some paperwork when she heard a knock on her door. “Come in.” The door opened and in came the two main protagonists of the story. “Ah, Treble. Wonderful to see you again. I trust you’ve been well?” “Aye,” Treble answered. “Good. I assume you’re here to enroll?” Treble nodded and handed Celestia some papers. After a few seconds of checking them over, Celestia nodded and set them down. “Well it looks as though everything is in order. Welcome back to Canterlot High Treble Clef.” “Thanks.” Celestia nodded, then noticed the other person in the room.  “Oh, and who might you be?” “I’m a friend of Treble’s, coming here to enroll in Canterlot High same as he is.” Celestia nodded as Zodiac handed her some papers. After reading them over, she nodded once more before setting them on top of Treble’s papers. “Alright, looks like it’s all sorted out. Welcome to Canterlot High Zodiac Prince.” “Thank you Principal Celestia. Welp, I’d say we best take our leave.” “Right but before you go, here are your schedules.” Celestia handed them both sheets of paper with their classes on them. They left the room before Treble glanced at the clock. First period had already started. Treble looked at his schedule to see his first class was history. He looked over to Zodiac’s and saw his first class was science. Then, right before his eyes, he saw it change to history same as Treble’s. Treble gave his friend a look. “What? I don’t wanna miss anything interesting.” Treble once again rolled his eyes before continuing on. However, just as they started to make their way down the hall, a classroom door opened, revealing Sunset Shimmer. She saw Treble and gasped, but Treble silenced her quickly by putting a finger over his mouth. Sunset nodded with a smile, showing that she understood, and went back into her classroom. The two friends then turned, and walked off and out of the school. Their first school day was after all, tomorrow. As the school day ended and students left the building, Treble and Zodiac watched from afar. Treble scanned the crowd and caught sight of his old friends. They had all grown into beautiful young women over the years, and Treble was glad that they had gotten over that cell phone thing that Zodiac had told him about. He knew that something like that would never have happened if he had been there. But, that was in the past, and Treble was glad that they had moved on. “See somethin ya like Trebs?” Zodiac asked. Treble just slugged him in the shoulder as Zodiac chuckled. “Relax I’m only joking. Hey, why don’t you introduce me to your sister? I haven’t met the Vinyl Scratch of this world yet.” ’Yeah sure, don’t really have anything better to do. Come on, I think I saw her and Octavia go this way.’ Treble lead Zodiac down the street and around a corner as they approached Treble’s twin sister, Vinyl Scratch, who was listening to music, and his childhood friend Octavia, who was shutting out the world. As they approached, Zodiac got an idea. “Hey, watch this.” He quietly snuck up on them before shouting, “Give me all your money!” Octavia and Vinyl immediately acted on instinct and turned around, both of them kicking him in his man pride. Zodiac doubled over in pain before collapsing onto the ground while Treble started laughing his ass off. Vinyl and Octavia immediately noticed Treble and took a fighting stance, thinking he was an accomplice. It took them a few seconds to realize who it was, recognising the laugh. “T-Treble?” Octavia asked in shock. Treble smirked at them before answering. “Aye.” Both girls burst into tears before running at him and almost tackled him. Lucky Treble was able to hold his ground before he got knocked over. “Oh my gosh Treble it really is you! Oh we missed you so much!” Treble smiled as he returned their hug. “Damn Treble, your sister and her friend really know how to kick.” Vinyl and Octavia saw Zodiac getting up and made to attack him again before Treble stopped them. “Friend.” The two looked at him suspiciously before shrugging. “Fuck that hurt.” ’Maybe you shouldn’t have snuck up on them. Besides, you’re a god, what’s a kick in the junk to you?’ “Hey, it doesn’t matter who or what you are, a kick in the balls is painful.” Vinyl and Octavia looked at him oddly. ’Who is he talking to?’ Vinyl wondered. “I’m talking to your brother Vinyl. Why, is that a problem?” Vinyl’s widened. Did… did he just hear her thoughts? Treble gave him a look, leaving Zodiac confused at first but he quickly put two and two together. “Oh… right they don’t know about me yet. Well, we would tell you but nows not the time for complicated matters. Just know that I can hear his thoughts, as well as yours Vinyl, and that’s how I talk to him.” Vinyl looked to Treble confused, he made a few hand signs telling her that it was best not to question it. She nodded and brought him into another hug while Octavia just smiled as she joined in too. Treble smiled, glad to finally be back with his family. > Chapter Two: First Day > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter Two: First Day Sunset was worried. About what exactly? Her friends of course! And Zodiac knew it too. Currently, he was watching her walk out of her classroom, *cough* stalker *cough.* “Fuck you Pyra!” Anyway, he was watching her as she wonder just what Treble meant to her friends when she bumped into Fluttershy. The shy girl had tears in her eyes and was quietly sniffling. “Fluttershy, are you okay?” Sunset asked. “Yeah, I’m fine. I just get really sad this time of year.” “Oh, well, how about you tell me how you met Treble? Some happy memories ought to cheer you up.” “Okay, I’ll try.” As Fluttershy began to recall the tail, Zodiac floated away. ’Don’t really need to be concerned with stories of the past. That job belongs to the main timeline.’ Wondering what he should do first, he decided to wait around till fate called him. It came in the form of a voice over the intercom. WOULD ALL NEW STUDENTS PLEASE REPORT TO THE PRINCIPLE’S OFFICE? THANK YOU. “Welp, duty calls.” He made his way over to the principle’s office, changing his appearance from wizard getup to a bulky blue hoodie with a belt on his right arm, gray pants, and a red scarf. His gray hair was spiked, and combed forward, and he pulled on two black fingerless gloves seemingly out of nowhere. The only thing besides the red scarf that he still had with him was his hat. He was quickly met up by Treble as he made walked down the hall. “There you are Trebs, was wondering where you went.” ’Sorry, was running a little late. Still have some things to set up you know. By the way, what’s with the getup?’ “Oh what this? Well I can’t just walk around in my normal clothing can I?” ’You look like you’re from an anime.’ “Tch, like you’re one to talk. Anyways, are we the only new students?” ’I don’t know, you tell me. “Right. Well in that case, no we aren’t the only new students. However, I’m not going to tell you who the others are because spoilers.” Treble simply nodded as the two walked into the principle’s office. When they entered, they saw that they weren’t the first to arrive. There were three other girls there. Each of them looked to be from some sort of rock band or something due to their clothing, and each had different hairstyles, the orange one’s being the most outrageous. ’How much do you wanna bet they can hide all of that in small hoodies?’ Zodiac strained to hold in a chuckle as principal Celestia turned to see them walk in. “Ah, Zodiac and Treble, good to see you made it. Now, today I’ll be having a student tour you around campus. She’ll be meeting you in the main hall. Any questions?” With no hands raised, Celestia nodded, and sent the students on their way. Treble kept his hood up in case of being seen by one of the human five. He looked back slightly and saw the girl with orange hair looking at him strangely. He had seen that sort of look before, he knew no good would come of it. So, he did his best to ignore it, but immediately knew that it would be a long time before those types of looks stopped going his way. “You alright there Trebs?” Zodiac asked quietly. ’Yeah, just a little uncomfortable with the look that orange haired girl is giving me, but it's fine I've dealt with this sort of thing before.’ Treble responded in his thoughts. Zodiac used his magic to silence his laughter, knowing what would happen later down the line, but we'll get to that eventually, unless you've read the original story, then you know what happens. Eh, doesn't matter. “Quit getting complicated and continue!” Zodiac called out. Everyone else, including Treble, stopped and stared at him. “Um, heh heh, voices in my head?” “Ignore him,” Treble said to the other girls as he continued to walk. Continuing on, the small group eventually got to the front of the school where Sunset was waiting for them. “Oh, there you all are. I was starting to worry that maybe I had come too late.” “Yeah, sorry about that,” Zodiac began. “Treble and I were kind of running late.” “Pfft, well anyways, my name is Sunset for those of you who don’t know, and I’m going to be your tour guide for today. Now how about the rest of you introduce yourselves so we can all get to know each other?” “My name is Adagio,” the girl with the orange hair started, “and these two are my sisters Aria and Sonata.” “Hiya!” Sonata said excitedly. “The pleasures all yours,” Aria said in a dull voice. “Alright,” Sunset said. “Well, nice to meet you all. And how about you two?” “My name is Zodiac Prince,” Zodiac said, “and this here is my buddy Treble Clef.” “Sup,” Treble greeted. “Okay, well now that we all know each other, let the tour begin!” Sunset led them down the halls of the school, showing the newbies around and giving them little tidbits of info every once in awhile. Eventually, they finally made it back to the front of the school. “And that ends our tour! Any questions?” “Nope,” Zodiac said. “None here,” Adagio agreed. “Oh wait!” Sonata shouted. “When’s Taco Tuesday?!” “Um… on Tuesday?” Sunset replied unsurely. “Really?” “Of course it is you dolt!” Aria criticized. “Why else would it be called Taco Tuesday?” “Hey, stop being so mean to me!” “I wouldn’t be so mean to you if you weren’t the worst.” “I’m not the worst! You’re the worst!” “No you are!” “No you are!” “You’ll have to excuse them,” Adagio apologized as she got in between her sisters to stop the fighting, “they’re idiots.” Zodiac quietly chuckled away as Sunset gave them a weird look. “Um, alright,” Sunset replied. “Well, any more questions?” With none more to ask, the students went on their way. Treble and Zodiac walked off to their second period, intent on getting there before class ended. After all, they didn’t want to miss a single thing. > Chapter Three: Reunion > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter Three: Reunion ‘Damn, how can you just lose sight of a guy like Zodiac?’ Treble thought to himself as he walked down the halls of Canterlot High, looking for his friend so they could leave the school grounds and head home where he would concentrate more on his plan to meet the human five again. As he reached the entrance of the school he sighed as he sat down. ‘Guess I'll just wait for him.’ Pulling out his phone Treble tried to keep himself entertained while he waited. Suddenly, he heard footsteps down a hall to his right. ‘No one else is really here other than the principal and Zodiac, I'll just check to be sure.’ Putting his phone away, Treble called Zodiacs name, but got no reply, only the sound of the footsteps getting fainter. Curious, he began to follow the sound to its source. “Hello?” He called out with a confused expression. After reaching a party where the hallway split into four directions he scratched his head and shrugged. ‘Guess whoever it was is gone.’ As he turned around he found Adagio standing there with her hands on her hips, a smile on her face. “Oh, hi.” Adagio looked him over and smirked. “Hello Treble, what are you doing in the school this late?” “Waiting.” “Waiting for your friend?” “Yeah.” “I see.” She slowly walked up to him, slightly swaying her hips as she walked, keeping eye contact with the boy. “Well, why don't I keep you company until he gets back?” “Uh,” Treble replied. ’Zodiac where the hell are you?’ Adagio pressed herself onto Treble, squishing her breasts onto his chest. Treble didn’t want any part of this, but Adagio wasn’t giving him any chances of getting away. “So,” Adagio said, lightly stroking Treble’s arm with her finger, “why don’t we have some ‘fun’ as we wait for your friend?” Treble was about to say no when Zodiac rounded the corner. “Sorry I’m so late Tre-heh heh heh hello! Didn’t mean to walk in on a tender moment. I’ll just take my leave.” Zodiac then turned to leave. ’Zodiac help me!’ ’I don’t know Trebs, you seem pretty happy.’ ’Zodiac I swear to Pyra if you don’t help me I’m gonna-’ ’What did you just say?’ ’Um… if you don’t help me I’ll-’ ‘No, before that.’ ‘I swear to Pyra?’ “Really?” Zodiac suddenly called out, surprising both Adagio and Treble. “You’re starting that shit now? I thought it was supposed to happen later!” ’Just help me damnit!’ Treble exclaimed in his mind, causing Zodiac to flinch. “Geez, alright alright.” Zodiac snapped his fingers and Adagio froze up, unmoving as if she was frozen in time. Treble gently pushed her away from him and stepped to the side before walking over to Zodiac. ’Alright, let's just get out of here before she tries to seduce me again, I'd rather not be molested on my way home.’ Treble thought slightly disturbed. “Well then, let's go, I'm hungry anyway.” “Pancakes?” “For once you're the one reading my mind Trebs. Onward, to Sugarcube Corner!” Treble rolled his eyes as he followed his enthusiastic friend out if the building before Adagio was unfrozen, left looking around in confusion. “Oh well, I'll get him next time.” She muttered to herself. “NOPE!!!” Treble called through the school's exit before slamming the door shut and running. Later that evening, Treble stood in an alleyway watching Rarity and Sunset walk down the sidewalk towards the Carousel Boutique. Zodiac wanted to say something along the lines of a stalker joke, but he knew better than to interrupt Trebles mental planning. Planning the right moment to reveal himself to his childhood friends took time, he wanted it to be as meaningful and memorable as possible. Maybe it was just to make things fun, maybe it was to show them all he was staying for good, or maybe it was his inner showman surfacing once more, he didn't know. He pulled up his hood as he saw the dark clouds setting in, it was clear it would be raining in a matter of minutes. As he watched the two girls, he noticed a group of three large men moving towards them with grins on their faces. ’Not while I'm around assholes…’ He stepped out of the alleyway, crossed the street and began to tail the three men as they got closer to the girls. Zodiac just smirked and began eating from a bucket of popcorn he willed into existence. “Oh this is gonna be great.” Once the men reached the girls, they stepped in front of them and blocked their path before they began to flirt with them, only to end in failure. “Oh puh-lease, like I'd ever associate myself with brutes like you, especially in such an inappropriate manner.” Rarity snapped as she and Sunset walked by them. Suddenly, one of them grabbed Sunsets arm, an evil look in his eye. “Well, guess we'll just have to do this the hard way.” The man stopped as he felt someone grab his arm. Treble, still hidden by his hood, stared into the man's soul with his deep crimson eyes before pulling his hand back and knocking him away with an uppercut. “Go.” He instructed the two girls as Sunset was freed from the man's grasp. “Go!” The girls nodded and made a run for the boutique while Treble turned to the three men who glared at him with anger in their eyes. Zodiac just stuffed his face full of popcorn as Treble cracked his knuckles and walked forward. After a series of breaks, snaps, cracks and other wacky sound effects the thugs all held their injuries and limped off. Treble dusted himself off and held his stomach, where one of the thugs had landed a hard strike. He controlled his breathing and sighed. ’At least the girls got away I guess…’ Zodiac chuckled and tossed the remaining popcorn over to a homeless guy before walking over and patting his friend on the back. “You did good bud, now, get you back home and rest, if I know anything about what's going to happen it’s that a storm is about to roll in riiiiiiiiiiiiiigggggghhhttt now!” As soon as he said that the wind picked up and the rain began to lash down. ’Zodiac, can you get us out of here?’ Treble looked around and saw his friend was nowhere to be seen. “Asshole.” “Hey!” Turning around he saw Rarity calling him from the entrance of her boutique. “Come on! Get in here or you'll get sick!” Not seeing any other option, he pushed his way over to the building. ’As long as I keep my hood up, I'll be fine, just keep myself hidden…’ Once he dashed into the building Rarity slammed the door shut. “There, isn't that better.” She walked up to him and placed a hand on his back. “Now, don't you worry about anything, this is the least I could do since you protected us from those brutes.” Rarity saw that he was beginning to shiver and frowned. “Here, take those wet clothes off and get wrapped up, I'll get you a change of clothes.” Treble shook his head. “Oh come in darling, just take it off.” Rarity pulled the hoodie off of him and he stood there wide eyed. Rarity dropped the hoodie as she saw who it was. Sunset meanwhile slipped out and ran for her car, not wanting to intrude on the surprise reunion. Rarity just slowly reached up and cupped his cheek, tears in her eyes. “Treble… oh my Pyra is that… is that really you? Look at you…” She placed her other hand on the other cheek and let the tears flow as she wrapped her arms around him and cried into his chest. Treble smiled softly and wrapped his own arms around her, kissing her head and hugging her tightly. Zodiac meanwhile shook his head. “You've really got a soft spot for emotional moments dontcha Pyra?” Maybe, maybe not, I just like making my characters happy. “And then ripping their happiness away as soon as you can right?” Oh definitely.
