My Little Pony belongs to Hasbro, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon belongs to Nintendo.

Two Pokemon moved through the void that is Spacial Rift, home to Palkia, ruler of Space. The leader, one who used to be a human but lost his memory, is now a Charizard. After finally defeating the one who wanted to rule the world, the once Charmander had been allowed to evolve. He was not the only one that couldn't evolve though.

His partner, once a Riolu, is now a Lucario. When the two first met, it was at the entrance to Beach Cave, where Riolu's personal treasure was stolen. He saw the unconscious Charmander, and raced to make sure he was alright. When he woke up and explained who he was, two crooks came and stole the Relic Fragment. Charmander and Riolu managed to get it back, and Riolu asked Charmander if he wanted to form an Exploration Team. Charmander accepted and ever since then, the two have been inseparable.

Back to the Charizard and Lucario though. "Do you think Palkia has something new to show us?" The Lucario asked. The Charizard just shrugged his shoulders in response.

Charizard had never talked much, the longest had been after they had defeated Primal Dialga. Lucario never wanted to remember that day. The two continued on in silence, pondering to themselves what it could be.

Eventually, the duo made it to where they first battled Palkia.

"Hello! Anyone there?!" The Lucario called.

"Just over here." Another voice called. The Charizard and Lucario looked at each other and ran off to the source.

They found Palkia looking over something. "Hey there, Palkia. What are you working on?" The Lucario asked.

Palkia turned around to address them. "Hello to you too, Aura and Blaze. To answer your question, I'm making a special item imbued with some of my power that will allow someone to move across space at high speeds, almost like Teleport, but everyone can use it." Palkia said.

"That's cool." Aura replied.

"You two get the honour of using it first." Palkia continued.

"Sweet!" Was Aura's exclamation of joy. Blaze just nodded with a smile.

The duo waited around until Palkia was finished. About 10 minutes later, it was ready.

"Okay you two, all you have to do is place your paw/claw on it and I'll calibrate it for Treasure Town." Palkia said.

Blaze and Aura touched the small black orb with a small purple spiral in the centre. When they did, it instantly started flashing.

"Uh, is this meant to happen?" Aura asked nervously.

"Not that I know of. Step back and I'll take another look at it." Palkia instructed.

The two tried to step back, but they were stuck to the orb.

"We can't!" Aura cried.

"What!?"

"We're stuck to it!"

"Don't move! I'll try something to deactivate it."

As Team Pokepals started to calm themselves, the orb flashed again. Then again. And again. It continued flashing at increasing speeds before it was like a solid light. The light quickly started expanding outward, enveloping the two Pokemon stuck to it. The white turned to black, before disappearing completely. When Palkia opened its eyes, Team Pokepals were gone with the orb.

In Ponyville the sun shone through the bright blue sky, filling everypony with energy for their daily tasks. Except for one whodidn't need the extra energy.

Said pony was currently bouncing through Ponyville and greeting everypony she saw.

"Hello! Good morning! Howdy!" She continued like this until she came to her pranking buddy, Rainbow Dash.

"Morning Rainbow! Got any good pranks lately?" She asked.

"Ehh, sorta. But I need your help to do it, Pinkie Pie." Rainbow responded.

"Oh! What is it? Are we going to put frosting all over the streets again?" Pinkie asked.

"Nope! We're going to get Twilight to believe there's a new species out there that nopony has ever seen before." Rainbow said with an evil grin.

"Oooh, that's goooood." Pinkie said.

"I've got the preparations all ready, just take this and hide it where ever you keep all your other stuff." Rainbow said, holding out a piece of paper. Pinkie took it and started reading through it. Her smile increasingly got bigger as she read.

Twilight POV

Twilight was sitting in her library, re-reading 'Magic Techniques for Dummies'. Spike was out for the day, most likely helping Rarity. Before Twilight could start reading the next page, the door to the library slammed open and in flew Rainbow Dash.

"Twilight! You're not going to believe this! There's been a new species that nopony has ever seen before just recently discovered!" She exclaimed loudly.

It took Twilight's brain a couple of seconds to register what she just heard. "WHAT?!" She shrieked.

"It's true!" A chipper voice sounded before the owner bounced into the library. "I saw it in the newspaper! Look!" Pinkie said, handing a paper over to Twilight.

Twilight skimmed through the front page, taking note of how the writing looked... rushed? She continued to examine it until she let out a triumphant "Aha!".

"So you say there's a new creature, huh?" She asked. Pinkie and Rainbow nodded. "Then why is it on a fake newspaper?" She asked with a pleased smile. Rainbow and Pinkie both deflated at that claim.

"You got us." Rainbow said with a sigh.

"How close were we to getting you to believe about a new species, though?" Pinkie asked, returning to her normal mood.

Twilight let out a small laugh. "You nearly had me. If it weren't for the writing I might've believed you."

Suddenly, Spike came bursting through the door.

"Twilight! There's these weird creatures near the edge of the Everfree Forest! They don't look like anything I've seen before! Well, except maybe the one that looks like a dragon, but anyway, you gotta come quick!" He said before turning around to face the door. He was about to run out before Twilight grabbed him in her magic.

"Spike, don't tell me you thought this was a good idea to try and prank me too." Twilight said with a groan. She looked over to Pinkie and Rainbow, only to see them looking confused.

"We didn't tell him anything about the prank." Rainbow said, Pinkie shaking her head for emphasis.

Twilight looked back to Spike and sighed. "Fine, we'll go and see these 'new creatures'." Sarcasm was very obvious in her voice.

Pokepals POV

Blaze let out a groan as he sat up. Where are we? He thought. He looked over to see Aura unconscious. He stood up and started to shake him awake.

"Ugh, be quiet and let me sleep, Loudred." Aura muttered.

Blaze rolled his eyes and breathed out a small Flamethrower at Aura. "OW! OW! OW! Okay, I'm up!" He said as he rubbed at the spot Blaze hit him.

Aura calmed down and gave Blaze the stink eye. "You're too strong for your own good." He muttered. Blaze just shrugged and pointed at him, as to say "So are you.". Aura laughed and agreed. Both of them had fought countless Legendaries and won, even befriending them. The only one they hadn't fought was Arceus.

Aura started to take note of their surroundings. "Did Palkia's experiment work?" He asked, seeing as they were in a field next to a forest. Looked a bit like the forest at Fogbound Lake.

Blaze shrugged and started looking around too. As he looked, he took notice of a small, yellow creature with pink hair on four legs. Blaze smiled and waved. Aura noticed this and asked; "What are you waving at?"

Blaze pointed over to where the creature was and waved again. This time, Aura joined in on the waving. The creature smiled softly and waved back. Although it was a tiny wave.

Mane 6 POV

When Twilight arrived, she saw Fluttershy sitting behind a hill.

"Hello, Fluttershy. What are you doing?" Twilight asked.

"Oh, hello there Twilight. I'm just watching these new creatures. Did Spike come and get you?" Fluttershy responded.

"Yes, and I'm having a very hard time believing there's a new creature that nopony has ever seen before. "

"Just look over this hill."

Twilight rolled her eyes and peeked over their little cover. "I don't see any.........thing."

Twilight could not believe what she was seeing. Just in front of the Everfree was a dragon, but it looked nothing like any dragon she had seen, and something else that resembled a Diamond Dog with metal spikes coming out of its chest and paws. The two seemed to be talking, suggesting that they were sentient. The dragon looked to where she was.

Twilight froze in shock, hoping that the dragon wouldn't spot her from where she was. Her fear grew as it smiled. It pointed her out to its companion and soon both of them were looking at her. Twilight began to hyperventilate until they started waving. Twilight snapped out of her shock and her foreleg gave a jerky wave back. She quickly ducked back down and turned to Fluttershy, who had a smile on her face.

"Did they wave to you?" The timid Pegasus asked. Twilight didn't trust her mouth at that time, and only nodded. "They did that to me too."

The two watched the new creatures sit down and start talking. Soon enough, the rest of their friends gathered around them.

The six friends watched in silence as the Diamond Dog gestured to the Everfree Forest. "What do you think they're thinking?" Asked Rarity.

Her question was soon answered as the dragon nodded and the duo got up and entered the Everfree. "How could they ever think of going into a horrid place like that?!" Rarity exclaimed.

"Come on! We have to follow them!" Rainbow Dash said before following behind them. Everypony sighed before following her.

Pokepals POV

Blaze took the lead as they went through the forest. It wasn't the most calming of places, but they had faced bigger threats than a tiny forest before.

"What do you think those creatures were, Blaze?" Aura asked, trying to relieve some of the tension. Blaze just shrugged. "They looked like some sort of Ponyta, but there were vast differences." Aura continued. Blaze nodded in agreement.

The two continued walking in silence, focusing on the path. They eventually found some sort of castle ruins. The duo took a moment to look at what was left of it before going inside. Just before the entrance, they found a Kangaskhan rock. Must still be near Treasure Town. Blaze thought before equipping their standard item set for exploring new places.

4 Oran berries, 4 Reviver seeds, 4 Apples, a berry to cure each status condition, and an Escape Orb. With their gear set, Team Pokepals moved inside the ruins.

As they moved through the castle, the only enemies they saw were strange wooden wolves. They dubbed these 'Woodwolves' and quickly demolished them through Blaze's Flamethrower. Soon enough, they got to the lowest point of the ruins. In front of them was a stone wall with the Relic Fragment's design. There were strange runes on the wall, which gave pause to Blaze. Why do I feel as though I've read this before? He asked himself.

Mane 6 POV

"This is getting boring!" Rainbow complained. The group had been following the new creatures for a while until they lost sight of them. Rainbow was going to fly ahead to locate them, but was held back by the group saying they would be safer with all of them there.

"It looked like they were heading towards the Castle of the Two Sisters." Twilight said, catching everypony's attention. "We should go there and see if they're there."

The group moved towards the castle, making sure no animals got the opportunity to attack. When they made it there, they saw remains of Timberwolves in the area. What shocked them the most, was that they had all been burned.

"Do you think that dragon came through here?" Applejack asked.

"It's possible. The only animal that I know of that can breathe fire is a dragon." Twilight responded.

They all moved inside the castle and followed the charred remains of the Timberwolves, leading them further down into the castle. As they went, more burnt wood entered their vision, leading them on. Soon enough, they started loosing light as they approached the basement.

"Ugh, I can't see a thing in here!" Rainbow complained.

"I would have to agree with Rainbow on this one. What if I step in something horrid?" Rarity said. Everypony just rolled their eyes. Twilight lit up her horn, giving off some light. It was soon unneeded as a light could be seen up ahead. The group sped up to see what was in the light.

When they got close enough, they instantly stopped. In front of them were the creatures from before.

Pokepals POV

"Why do you think there's a picture of the Relic Fragment?" Aura asked. He turned to face Blaze, and saw him staring at some runes. "What are these?"

Blaze turned to Aura and shrugged before going back to the runes. Aura sat down and decided to figure out why the Relic Fragment was imprinted here of all places. The duo sat in silence before Blaze let out a sound of triumph.

"What is it?" Aura asked. Blaze didn't respond, but instead took one last glance at the runes before walking over to the picture. He stopped just in front of it and turned to Aura.

"Place your paw on it." Blaze said. Aura looked confused but obliged. As soon as Aura came into contact with the design, it started glowing blue before the wall disintegrated.

"Well then, didn't expect that to happen." Aura said. Blaze started walking ahead with Aura following behind before a pair of blue eyes opened in front of them.

A soft growl could be heard as the room started to slowly brighten, revealing a massive dragon, the size of two houses, that had black scales and the blue eyes from before. The dragon started glowing before it split into two puddles of black ooze. The liquid started forming into someone else's form, before Aura and Blaze realized who's it was.

In front of them was a copy of Blaze, except black with blue eyes, and a copy of Aura with the same colour scheme. The Blaze copy let out a roar before a white light flashed over them.

Aura used an Earthquake to hit both of them, but it only hit the Aura copy. Blaze flew into the air and unleashed a Flamethrower at the Aura copy, the both of them silently agreeing to take down the Lucario first.

The Blaze copy let out a Flamethrower of its own at Aura, but Aura jumped out of the way. The Aura copy used an Aura Sphere on Aura, but Blaze flew in and took the hit, knowing it would cause less damage to him. Blaze decided to use Dragon Claw on the Blaze copy with Aura retaliating with an Aura Sphere of his own.

Blaze missed and got hit with a Dragon Claw from the copy, but Aura hit his mark. The copy let out a grunt of pain before returning with an Earthquake. Blaze quickly swooped down to lift Aura off the ground before Aura jumped out of his grip and landed on his back. Blaze then used a Blast Burn on the Aura copy and Aura jumped down to use Close Combat. The Aura copy was tiring fast, which got the Blaze copy to step up its game a bit more.

The Blaze copy quickly flew up and unleashed a massive Flamethrower at the two before sending out a Blast Burn. Blaze made sure he covered Aura, but suffered the most damage. Blaze used his last move in his move set, Dragon Pulse, hitting the Blaze copy. A small smoke cloud enveloped the copy before it flew out with a Flamethrower ready to go. Blaze quickly jumped into the air and charged up another Dragon Pulse before releasing it as the copy released its Flamethrower. The two attacks met head-on and as they struggled for dominance, the other two Pokemon were fighting.

Aura used Earthquake again, but the copy jumped into the air before using an Aura Sphere. Aura met it with one of his own before following up with Flash Cannon. It hit, but didn't cause too much damage. The copy rushed forward to use Close Combat, which Aura returned, matching its punches and kicks with his own. Aura saw an opening in the copy's defence and quickly took advantage of it. With a kick, Aura sent the copy flying and sent an Aura Sphere after it. The attack hit its mark and caused the copy to fall to the ground.

It stood up, but it was obvious that it was on the last straw. The copy then started charging an Aura Sphere in one paw and a Flash Cannon in the other. It combined the two before letting off a beam that had the aura particles mixed in the the steel of the attack. Aura quickly jumped to the side, but the beam followed him, making him have to move. As the combined attack continued following him, he heard screams of fright and took a glance to where they came from.

He saw 6 of the little creatures from before, huddling on the ground to stay below the level of the beam, which went across the wall right where their heads would be. Aura returned his attention to the copy and quickly dashed at it. Aura used another Close Combat and finished it by using an Aura Sphere point blank. When the smoke cleared, the copy was on the ground unconscious.

Blaze had overpowered the Flamethrower and followed up with various Dragon Claw's to deal as much damage possible. Finishing his combo, Blaze used a Flamethrower before settling back on the ground. Aura and Blaze looked at each other before smirking and nodding. They both charged up their strongest attacks, Blast Burn and Aura Sphere, before combining the two. Among the flames, a blue spiral could be seen. They released the attack right at the Blaze copy, who had just managed to stand up, and blasted it into the wall behind it. When they could see again, both copies were out cold.

"Alright!" Aura cheered. The copies turned back into the black ooze from before and disappeared. Where they once were, was a a treasure chest. Aura looked at Blaze who had started walking towards it. When he got to the treasure chest, he opened it up to see two stones.

One was blue with a black flame on the inside, containing two different shades of blue inside the flame. The other was orange with a blue flame, containing different shades of red on the inside. Blaze grabbed them both and chucked the orange one to Aura, feeling more drawn to the blue one.

"What are these?" Aura asked, looking over the stone. Blaze shrugged before looking around for anything else. He saw a door in the wall and walked through it. Aura took one last glance before following behind.

Mane 6 POV

"DID YOU SEE THAT?!" Rainbow shouted. "THEY JUST DEMOLISHED THEM! IT WAS AMAZING!"

"Yes Rainbow, we were there." Rarity replied calmly. You could hear the irritation in her voice though, no matter how much she hid it.

"I KNOW RIGHT?! IT WAS LIKE, BAM! KAPOW! WOOSH! NOO!" Pinkie decided to contribute to the conversation

"WASN'T IT AWESOME?!" Rainbow asked, still shouting.

"YEAH IT WAS!" Pinkie was also still shouting.

"Will you two shut it?!" Twilight asked, obviously at her breaking point. "How could they do those attacks?! It's like magic, but not magic! It doesn't make any sense!"

"Twilight, darling, you simply must calm down. All that worrying will do horrors to your complexion." Rarity said, always worrying about appearances.

"Uh, Rarity?" Applejack asked. "I think you shouldn't be worrying about how Twilight looks, but rather where did they go." She pointed a foreleg to show that the creatures were gone.

Everypony gasped. "Quick, find where they went!" Twilight ordered before running around. It was Fluttershy who found the slightly open door.

"Um, girls?" She said in her quiet voice.

"Girls?" She tried again.

"Girls?" Fluttershy took a deep breath before shouting.

"Girls!" That got all of their attention. "I found a door that's slightly open." They all rushed around her to see the door before going through it.

Lit torches aligned the hallway they had just entered, giving off enough light to see by. Twilight led them down the hallway before they came to an open room. Inside was a series of paintings, depicting two stones and the creatures from before.

The first one was the dragon holding a blue stone. It became enveloped in a... shell and the last one in the row was the dragon becoming black and blue with blue flames sticking out of its mouth.

The next paintings underneath that was one of the other creature. This time it was holding an orange stone before the same thing happened, except it grew longer fur and looked overall more aggressive. There was one last painting that took up an entire wall, depicting a battle between the two creatures at the end of the first paintings against a massive shadow. The shadow had red eyes, and even though it was a painting, you could feel the hate coming from them.

"What is this place?" Twilight whispered to herself.

Pokepals POV

When Team Pokepals arrived in the room, they saw the paintings for themselves holding a stone.

"What is this?" Aura asked. Blaze looked closer at the paintings before turning around. He spotted the larger one on another wall and pointed it out to Aura.

"Wow, never seen anything like this." Aura continued to look at it before one thing registered in his mind. "Doesn't that shadow look a bit like... Darkrai?"

Blaze had to agree that it did look very similar. Looking around some more, Blaze found some more of the writing from before.

For those from another land,
Be prepared for one last stand.
One enemy you have faced before,
Will come back to haunt you more.
Use those stones you now own,
To defeat the one who walks alone.
Friends along the way will help you see,
The path to grant you victory.

"Find something?" Aura asked, making Blaze jump slightly. When he recovered, he nodded and pointed out the writing to Aura.

"What is this writing?" Aura asked.

"What do you mean? I can read it fine." Blaze said in one of his rare moments.

"It looks like gibberish to me!" Aura protested. Blaze shrugged. The two stood in silence before Aura spoke up.

"Well, what does it say?"

Blaze read over it one more time before responding. "For those from another land, be prepared for one last stand. One enemy you have faced before, will come back to haunt you more. Use those stones you now own, to defeat the one who walks alone. Friends along the way will help you see, the path to grant you victory."

"What do you think it means by stones?" Aura asked after a moment of silence. Blaze looked back to the earlier drawings and brought out his stone. When it was brought into the light, it started flashing before a band appeared on Blaze's arm with the stone set inside a small section for it. Aura did the same and both of them looked to each other.

"Guess that answers that question." Aura said with a chuckle.

The two of them whirled around after hearing a sudden gasp from behind. Trying to hide but obviously failing, was a group of 6 of the creatures they saw before.

The lead purple one said something which Aura couldn't understand, but made Blaze's eyes widen.

How does she know the language of the future?!

Mane 6 POV

"What are you?" Twilight couldn't help but say it out loud. She clamped her hooves over her mouth the instant her sentence had formed, but the creatures in font of her had heard her. The dragon's eyes widened before narrowing.

"How do you know the language of the Future?" The voice sounded quite masculine. Deep and majestic, filled with knowledge one could only get from years of travel.

"What do you mean?" Twilight asked in confusion, her friends staying behind her as she talked to the dragon. "Shouldn't all dragons know Equestrian?"

Now it was the dragon's turn to be confused. "Equestrian? What is that? The language we are speaking is from the Future, only those who come from the Future should know it!" Then the dragon grew agitated, "And I am not a dragon! I am a Charizard!"

"Hey! Don't talk like that at my friends!" Rainbow shouted, glaring at the Charizard.

"Sorry, but that's a bit of a touchy subject for me." The Charizard explained. "My name's Blaze, what are yours?" He asked. This time he was much more calmer.

"Oh, my name is Twilight Sparkle. These are my friends Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie,"

"HIYA!"

"...Moving on... Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy." Twilight said. "What about your friend next to you?"

"Oh, that's my partner Aura. Couldn't imagine living without him." Blaze said with a smile.

"Is he a Diamond Dog?" It was Fluttershy who asked the question.

"Hm? Oh no, Aura's a Lucario. His parents thought it would be funny to name him after the thing he can see. Quite funny to me, but he's proud of the name." Blaze answered.

Aura started speaking to Blaze in a language that nopony in the room could understand. Blaze responded in the same language, but took longer. He also pointed to each pony there.

"Reckon he's introducing us to his partner?" Applejack whispered to Twilight.

"Probably." Twilight whispered back. The ponies waited in awkward silence until Blaze turned back to them.

"Sorry about that," He apologised, "Aura isn't from the Future so he doesn't know how to speak this language. I can teach him later, but for now I will be our spokesperson."

"'Spokesperson?" Applejack and Rainbow questioned.

"He means that he will be speaking for both of them." Rarity explained.

"Will you two come back to town with us? There are a couple of things I would like to ask you." Twilight said.

"Sure, just let us finish up here and we'll come with you." Blaze said with a nod. He turned back to Aura and started talking to him.

Pokepals POV

"What did they want?" Aura asked.

"They want us to come back to town with them." Blaze answered.

"Heh, bet they got you talking more than you have in the past few months with that conversation." Aura joked. He got a glare for his troubles. "Hey! You know it's true!" Aura replied to the glare by pointing an accusing paw at Blaze.

"Shaddup." Blaze replied. The two of them continued looking around the room for anything they could've missed. Years of exploring drilled that into them. You never know when someone could've hidden something in the walls.

"Find anything?" Aura asked. Blaze shook his head. "You know, you were talking a lot before. Why not now?" Aura was genuinely curious about this. Blaze sighed before answering.

"It reminds me of the planet's paralysis. When everything froze." He said, just above a whisper. Aura's gaze softened as he pet his friend's back comfortingly. Blaze gave him a small smile.

When Blaze's spirits were lifted again, he turned to the ponies and addressed them. "We're ready."

"Then let's go." Twilight said. The duo were led out by the group of six as they left the ruins of the forest behind. Along the way, Twilight and Pinkie needled the Pokemon with questions, but Blaze always said 'Wait until we get to town.'.

When they arrived, the townsponies first reaction was to run and hide until they saw the ponies who had saved Equestria twice with them. They calmed down, but were still nervous about being in their presence. Whenever the Pokemon's gaze would travel over one, they would flinch away.

Eventually they made it to the library where Twilight let them in, almost like she was rushing. She closed the door behind everyone and called out to somewhere in the house.

"Spike! Where are you?!"

"Coming Twilight!" A younger male voice answered. The sound of claw tapping on wood reached them. When the owner of the footsteps turned around the doorway, it revealed to be a green and purple dragon.

"Whoa." He said as he gazed upon Blaze. "What did you need Twi?" Spike asked, never letting his eyes leave Blaze.

"Can you send a letter to Princess Celestia? I want her to be here when Blaze tells us about himself." Twilight said.

"Okay, just tell me what you want me to write." Spike said, finally dropping his gaze and bringing out a scroll and quill.

"Dear Princess Celestia,
I am sending you this letter to inform you of two new creatures that have appeared today. They are called..." Twilight stopped and asked Blaze a question. "I'm sorry, I never got what your race is called." She said with a sheepish smile.

"Our race is called Pokemon." Blaze answered.

"Thanks. They are called Pokemon and call themselves Blaze and Aura. They are going to tell us more about themselves and I thought you may be interested in listening to what they have to say.
Your Faithful Student, Twilight Sparkle."

"Got it!" Spike exclaimed. He then rolled it up and ignited it on fire which turned it to sparkles and flew out the window. "There we go! All sent!" Spike said.

"Thanks Spike. Princess Celestia should be here any moment." Twilight directed the last part to Team Pokepals. Blaze nodded and told Aura what had just happened.

Turns out they didn't have to wait long.

Princess Celestia appeared in a flash of light, startling everyone in the room. "Twilight, are you alright?!" She practically shouted. Her eyes were frantically searching around the room, but somehow missed the two largest beings.

"Yes? Why wouldn't I be?" Everypony was confused at this point. They didn't get an answer as Celestia's eyes landed on the Pokemon before she charged at them and smashed the two through a wall.

"Princess!" Five ponies shouted.

"Blaze! Aura!" Fluttershy was the only one concerned for their guests.

Blaze and Aura picked themselves up from the ground. "If you need to communicate, use the aura!" Blaze commented before getting in a battle stance.

"Right!" Aura responded before doing the same. A second later, another alicorn fell from the sky. This one was slightly smaller than Princess Celestia and had a blue coat with a starry mane.

"Have I missed anything?" She asked.

"Not yet Luna. We need to rid our planet of these warmongers." Princess Celestia said.

"Should be fun." Luna answered with a manic grin.

"GO!" Celestia shouted before she flew at Blaze. Blaze quickly took to the air, leaving Aura to deal with Luna on the ground. Luna fired a beam of magic at Aura which was sidestepped before Aura used Earthquake which Luna took off to avoid. While the lunar princess was in the air and distracted, Aura formed an Aura Sphere in his paw and threw it at her. It hit its mark.

Luna flew through the minor smokescreen the Aura Sphere had formed and dashed at Aura with a black scythe in her magic. She swung it, but the movements were sloppy and Aura ducked under, sidestepped or jumped over them. When an opening presented itself, Aura used Close Combat and started using the Princess as a punching bag.

Aura finished it with a kick to the chest piece, cracking it and sending Luna flying back. She hit the side of a house and fell to the ground. Luna attempted to stand back up, albeit on shaky legs, but Aura contacted her to try and talk some sense into her.

"Why?" This made Luna stop. "Why do you want us dead?" Aura 'asked'.

"Your kind came here long ago. A war was started between our two races. We won't let another war start." Luna said through gritted teeth.

"We didn't come here for war." Aura 'stated', making Luna stop again.

"How do I know you're not lying?"

"I'll show you." As Aura showed his memories of the events leading up to meeting Palkia and travelling from the orb, Blaze had stopped flying away from Celestia and turned to face her.

"So you finally stopped trying to flee." She said.

"No, I think it is time we try to talk it out like civilised beings." Blaze said.

"So you finally learned to speak our language, did you? Doesn't matter. It's just a step up from the mindless brutes your kind is." Celestia stated.

Blaze shrugged. "Can't say I didn't try." He flew forward to meet Celestia in mid-air. Celestia lowered her heard before Blaze reached her, trying to impale him on her horn, but Blaze corkscrewed around her and raked her sides with Dragon Claw. It left long gashes in her otherwise pristine coat.

Celestia gasped as she felt pain for the first time in years. She soon started chuckling darkly, however. "Is that the best you've got?" Celestia twisted around and fired a beam of magic at Blaze. Blaze flew around it and used Flamethrower, bathing the solar princess in flames. He continued breathing for a while before stopping.

Celestia was still flying, but there were some singed areas in her coat. "My turn." Celestia fired a beam of solar energy at Blaze, but missed once again. More beams were sent towards the flying Pokemon as he flew around the skies to evade what he was sure to be certain death. Blaze slowly moved towards Celestia in his manoeuvring and raked her sides once more with another Dragon Claw.

"This is just the beginning, isn't it?" Celestia asked. She tackled Blaze and started flying towards the ground. "Next thing you know we're all going to be enslaved by your kind." Blaze managed to get a grip on one of Celestia's forelegs and twisted them around so he had a knee on her chest piece. "Monsters like you don't deserve anything." Celestia continued, charging up magic in her horn while Blaze charged up a Dragon Pulse. "You don't deserve to have a future." The two attacks connected, blowing the two off each other. "In fact, I think that you only deserve to have death. Nothing else."

Something snapped inside of Blaze at that moment. He started laughing, slowly increasing in volume until he stopped and stared at Celestia with a sadistic grin.

"What would you know?" Blaze started out quietly. "Do you know what it's like live in a place where the sun doesn't rise," Slightly louder, "Where the wind doesn't blow," He moved towards Celestia, "Where time doesn't flow," Blaze's flame on his tail started swirling around his body, "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE!" Blaze let out a mighty roar which made the other two combatants on the ground look up.

"Oh no. This is bad." Aura said with a shaky 'voice'.

"What do you mean?" Luna asked.

"Blaze has gone berserk. Celestia must've done something to disrespect his memories or friends."

"So? We'll just stop him." Luna said confidently.

"Do you know the type of enemies we have fought?" Luna looked to him. "We have fought literal gods. And they have all fallen to us. If you think you are higher than gods, then I call you foolish. The only way we can snap Blaze out of his rage is to knock him unconscious." Aura 'said'.

"Easy enough." Luna was about to take off until Aura spoke again.

"It has never been done."

Luna froze with her wings partly opened. "What do you mean?"

"Blaze has always defeated his opponents before taking out his rage on the surroundings. If you allow me, with all three of us working together we may stand a chance."

"'May' stand a chance? I think you underestimate us." Luna said harshly.

"Who do you think led all of our expeditions? Let me tell you. It was Blaze. He was the one who gave me strength when I had none. He led us through every obstacle we faced. Out of us, he is definitely the strongest. So if I was able to defeat you so easily, how do you think you would do against Blaze?" Aura 'replied' calmly.

Luna was silent for a bit. "Very well. I accept your aid." Luna charged up her horn and Celestia appeared next to her.

"Sister, I have new information." Luna said.

"Did you get it from beating it out of this thing? Did you find out their plans for taking over?" Celestia asked, glaring at Aura.

"I gave it of my own free will. And it think you will find what happened is quite interesting." Aura 'replied'.

"You will be silent until spoken to!" Celestia snapped. Off in the distance, another road sounded.

"Sister, we don't have much time. The only way to stop Blaze is to knock him unconscious. Aura here," Luna gestured at the Lucario, "told me that we need to knock Blaze unconscious before he goes on a rampage."

"Better yet, I'll just kill him." Celestia replied.

"Good luck. Even I would be wary of attacking him in this state. And I'm his partner for Arceus' sake!" Aura said with a glare. "Oh, and if you kill him then you'll have many gods trying to kill you to avenge their friend. I would be too."

"Silence! What could you possibly-"

"Tia, snap out of it!" Luna shouted. Celestia looked over at her sister. "These ones are different. I've seen Aura's memories and I deem him trustworthy. If you can't relinquish your hate for their kind, then I will have to ask you to leave." Celestia's eyes widened.

"Surely you wouldn't do that to your sister?!"

"I will if I have to. And if this doesn't change your mind then I don't know what will." Luna said before walking up to Celestia and whispering something in her ear. Whatever it was caused Celestia's eyes to widen.

"Are you sure they have them?!" She whisper-shouted at her sister. A nod was what she got in return.

"Are you two done now?" Aura 'asked'. Blaze was steadily getting closer.

"For now, yes." Celestia said. The three got in a triangular formation before each charging up an attack.

Celestia charged a beam of solar energy, Luna charged a beam of lunar energy and Aura charged up an Aura Sphere. The three of them launched their attacks at once, forming a Homing Lunar Eclipse Beam, heading straight for Blaze. Blaze charged up and Flamethrower and released it, pushing back the newly formed attack.

"How is he this strong?" Luna asked, shocked at how easily Blaze had pushed back their attack.

"Blaze is the strongest Pokemon other than Arceus that I know of." Aura 'replied' calmly as ever. "I'd be surprised if he couldn't push that back."

"Then how should we go around this?" Celestia asked.

"Try to find a way to keep him on the ground," Aura 'said', throwing an Aura Sphere followed by a Flash Cannon.

"The only spell that targets a single entity could prevent him from flying ever again." Luna replied.

"Then use one to stop everyone in the area, including you. Is that safer?"

Celestia sighed. "Very well." She cast a bolt of magic into the sky, making a dome appear before vanishing. "Done. None of us will be able to fly."

"Good, keep him distracted while I think of something to snap him out of this." Aura 'said'.

"Why us? Surely you know his attack patterns better than us!" Luna protested.

"That's why. I know him better and I can think of a way to get through to him." Aura 'replied'.

"Fine." Luna huffed.

"Now go!"

The two alicorns ran at Blaze, hoping to catch him off guard. Blaze spotted them and prepared a Dragon Claw as he ran at them as well. The sisters both pivoted on their front hooves and attempted to buck him, but Blaze ducked under it and ran his claws down their sides, drawing more blood. Both sisters teleported out of range of Blaze's melee attacks to come up with a new strategy.

"Luna, attack from a distance with your beams. I'll get in close and distract him. Just make sure you don't hit me." Celestia said.

"Got it."

Celestia ran forward once again, but tried jabbing a hoof at Blaze. Blaze sidestepped it and bought an elbow down on Celestia's back, making her fall to the ground. A beam of magic made contact with Blaze, sending him off Celestia and allowing her to get up. Celestia used her magic to form a shield and once again ran at Blaze.

When she got close enough, she used her magic to push her to the side, narrowly avoiding Blaze's punch, and brought her magical construct down on Blaze's head.

Which did nothing.

Blaze charged up a Dragon Pulse and sent it at Celestia, pushing her back and damaging her at the same time. He then rolled out the way to avoid another beam from Luna. Blaze started running towards Luna, but Celestia teleported in the way, taking most of the force. She dug her hooves into the ground to stop Blaze's mad charge, but it didn't do anything to hinder him.

Eventually, Blaze plowed into Luna and used Celestia to jump away from them. He charged up a Blast Burn, past the strength he normally used for it. Blast Burn is a devastating attack, so he always lowered his power output for the attack. Before he could unleash his last attack, Aura jumped on his back and wrapped his arms around his neck.

"Blaze! You need to snap out of this!" Aura shouted in his partner's ear. To everyone else, it sounded like gibberish. "This is not you! Remeber the times we spent together, the times you helped me!" Blaze was now standing still. "Remember the Waterfall Cave? You gave me the strength to jump through. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be anywhere near where we are now." Blaze's posture sagged and the red glow in his eyes dimmed.

"So snap out of it! I know you're stronger than this! Don't let your rage overcome you like this!" Aura continued. "I need my friend back."

Blaze's eyes returned to normal, along with any aggression in his posture. "Aura? What happened?" He asked softly.

"You had another one of your rage moments." Aura replied.

"Then where's Princess Celestia and Luna? Did I beat them?" Blaze asked.

"Well, yes and no. Just look behind you." Blaze did as Aura said, and gasped before rushing to the downed alicorn sisters.

"Oh Arceus, are you two okay?" Blaze asked, almost having a panic attack. Celestia was the first one to rise.

"We are fine, thank you. We just need to rest for a bit." Her voice was much calmer and filled with less hat than before.

"Phew, that's good." Blaze let out a sigh of relief. "Hold on, what happened to you trying to kill us?"

"That was a... misunderstanding." Luna came into the conversation, standing on shaky legs. "Aura showed us his memories and you fussing over us proves how kind you really are. Unlike your ancestors." She mumbled the last part.

"Why were you so mad in the first place?"

"That is another story for another time." Celestia said. That seemed to spark a chord within Blaze's memories as he gasped.

"Speaking of stories, I was going to tell those 6 ponies more about us. Would you like to join us?" Blaze asked.

The two princesses looked at each other. "Canterlot can run by itself for a short time." Luna said.

"Very well." Celestia looked to Blaze. "Let's go meet up with Twilight and her friends." The alicorns went to take a step forward, but had no strength to walk.

"Here." Blaze walked over to Celestia and picked her up whilst Aura did the same with Luna. "Try not to overexert yourselves too much." He said. Suddenly, his vision grew blurry.

"What?" His vision started going black.

"Not again!" He stopped himself from collapsing before witnessing a vision.

Blaze and Aura were in an arena, watching the crowds above them as they demanded for blood.

"And the last competitor is a doozy! He comes from a land of darkness, please welcome... Gr-"

A beam of yellow energy hit the MC and a white shape landed in front of the duo.

The vision ended their, revealing three worried faces.

"Are you alright Blaze?" Celestia asked.

"Do you need to rest?" Luna asked.

"Was it a vision, or just sound?" Aura 'asked'. The alicorns looked at Aura in confusion.

"What do you mean?" They asked simultaneously

"It was a vision." Blaze said in his mind and out loud.

"A vision?" Luna asked.

"I'll tell you about it later. For now, let's go and see Twilight."

The two Pokemon carried the injured and fatigued princesses back to Twilight's home where the door slammed open.

"WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT?!"
