Ice Dragon in Equestria

(Jack’s POV)

SLAM

I wake up to the sound of my alarm ringing next to me but then I remembered why I had set an alert in the first place. I was finally going to an anime convention that was taking place near here, I was all hyped up for this my friends, Luke, Lucy, and Mark, and I had agreed to go as one of our favorite anime characters from different anime. Luke said that he was going to dress up as Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist, and his twin sister, Lucy, said she was going as Moka from rosario+vampire. Mark is going as Luffy from One Piece, and I was going as Captain Hitsugaya from Bleach. The reason I was going as Hitsugaya was not only was he one of my favorite characters but because I was a little short for someone my age (I'm 17 by the way).

As I was getting ready I made a mental checklist of what I was bringing to the convention; My costume consisting of shinigami black robe, Captain Haori, white socks, straw sandals, sky blue contacts (I have bad eyesight without contacts or glasses) and I dyed my hair white last night and a homemade replica of his sword but it was a bit ugly (It was made of cardboard and the blade part was covered in tin foil). I spent most of my time gathering money and fixing my costume, money I had saved up to buy some souvenirs while I was there (hopefully I can find a fluttershy, my favorite pony in the show, plushy or something I'm a closet brony I only tell my friend and other mlp fans at school), extra clothes (we were going to stay at a hotel near the convention for a few days), phone, laptop that has some games save on plus some USB that has some movies, anime, books and songs stored into them to entertain my friends and I while we're at the hotel.

“Jack are you ready to go!?” My brother Oscar called out

“Yeah just packing the last things I'm taking!” I replied

“Okay! Hurry up!”

I was finally here, the anime convention I was so excited to meet other people who like anime as much as I do.

“Alright I'll come and pick you up in 2 days remember to be in front of the hotel when I come.” My brother reminded me

“I now. Alright I'm heading inside to see if my friends are already here. Bye Oscar” I told him as I was already heading inside

“Bye” he said as he was starting to drive off

I was amazed the convention didn't disappoint, I saw vendors selling awesome merchandise and other people with their costume from different anime (some that i have seen and others that I haven't I'll have to ask them from what anime their dressed as)

“Hey Jack you made it” I heard a voice calling me from behind

“Luke? you look exactly like Ed!” I told him examining his work. He had on a black shirt underneath a long red coat black pants combat boots and had a wig that was braided similar to Edward’s

“Thanks it took forever to make this as perfect as I can. You could pass as toshiro himself” he said with a smirk on his face. My eye twitch at that comment. He knew I don't like people talking about my size

“Yeah well, whatever. Your costume looks good to Lucy” I said trying to avoid the subject by talking to his sister

“What do I care if you like it or not!” She yelled as she turned and talked to a group of anime girls complementing each other's work, but I could have sworn I saw a blush on her face as she turned

“Was it something I said?” I asked Luke, confused

“Nah she's just embarrassed that her 'secret' crush complemented her” he said with a carefree attitude

“Huh? Her crush? Who?” I asked even more confused

“You're hopeless” was his response “Hey I see mark coming”

I turned and looked at the last member of our group. Mark wore a straw hat, open red vest, short blue jeans, and sandals he also had the scar on his chest and below his left eye drawn on with a huge smile on his face

“S’up guys? You ready for this?”

“Definitely. so same plan we discussed before right?” I asked

“Yup. We go our separate ways then meet up at the food court in an hour and a half then After lunch we go to get our books signed from our favorite authors after that we head to the hotel to check in” Mark said reviewing what the plan was while we were here

“Alright then I'll go and tell Lucy, see you guys at the food court” Luke said heading towards his sister, who was still talking to the other group of girls

“Well see ya” Mark said Walking a random direction

“Oh well might as well see what they have here” I said to myself walking to the nearest booth

(1 ½ hours later)

As I was making my way towards the food court I was content on the things that I bought from different vendors; I bought some mangas, ichigo’s hollow mask, bleach jacket, and best of all a fluttershy plushy I always wanted yes!! But I suddenly stopped because I noticed a vendor, who strangely looks like the merchant from the resident evil game, selling what looks to be a perfect replica of Captain Hitsugaya’s sword, hyourinmaru, the guard, the hilt, even its sheath was identical. I quickly walked to the vendor eager to buy the replica

“How much for hyourinmaru”

“Whoa kid you look exactly like Hitsugaya in every way, even the height” He said surprised

I was not amused and tried to calm myself down

“Yeah uh thanks. Anyway how much are you selling this for” I asked again pointing at the sword

“Well since you're dressed up as Hitsugaya how about I give you a discount?” He said with a low creepy voice but I just shrugged it off thinking he was just acting as his character

“Really you'd do that?” I asked eagerly

“Sure how about $35 do we have a deal”

“Deal!” I quickly handed him the money as he gave me hyourinmaru and tossed my old one away

“Pleasure doing business with you” he said with the most creepiest smile I had ever seen “have a nice trip”

“Thank- wait what tri-” suddenly I blacked out

When I woke up I was in the middle of what looked to be a forest, and I was freaking out.

‘How did I get here? Where am I?' Was all that was going through my mind

I quickly tried to calm myself, after a few minutes I opened my eyes to get a better view of the situation but instead I stare at the glowing eyes of what looks to be Timber-wolves. I stood still for a second just staring at each other when I suddenly turned and ran as fast as my legs could run

‘What the hell is going on those are timber-wolves but that can't be they don't really exist only in in the Everfree forest in My Little Pony’ I was thinking in my mind as I was running for my life

Why are you running'’ I heard a voice in my head which makes me freeze

‘Do not run. draw your sword and face your enemy’

“Why the hell would I do that? I'll just get ripped to shreds!” I argued with the voice in my head which sounds oddly familiar for some reason

‘Just draw me and unleash our power on them, you already know my name now stand and fight’ the voice who I now remember was hyourinmaru Captain Hitsugaya's zanpakuto, but that can't be he's an animated character from a show he doesn't exist

‘Then how do you supposed that I am here talking to you’ he said with an annoyed tone

As I was about to respond the Timberwolves that I had completely forgotten about came out into the clearing that I was currently in and surrounded me.

‘WhatdoIdoWhatdoIdoWhatdoIdo..’ Is all that I tell myself as the wooden wolves closed in on me

‘Draw your sword and call on my power you fool! Hurry!’

I was in fear for my life but I somehow managed to grab the hilt of the sword, that was somehow strapped to my back by a rope in a similar fashion of Hitsugaya, and pull it out of its sheath and got Into a stance that I somehow knew. The Timberwolves paused in shock that someone would fight back, after their initial shock they started to advance again.

'Hey What do I do' I asked Hyourinmaru

‘You know what to do’ he replied in his usual calm tone ‘call my name and show them they had messed with the wrong Captain Shinigami’

I took a deep breath and closed my eye to calm myself. A few seconds later one of the wolf got tired of waiting and started run towards me, but I soon opened my eyes and calmly said

I then felt my energy start to rise and my sword start to change; A chain appeared at the bottom of the hilt connected to another blade that looks like a crescent moon and the weather changed all around us, the temperature started dropping but I wasn't bothered by it at all

The Timberwolves felt my raise of power and the change of temperature and started to think that they had picked the wrong prey to eat

I jumped up, which I reached at least 10 meters from the ground, and instinctively swung my sword back towards the ground, but as I did a dragon head made of ice was shot towards the still shocked Timberwolves and froze, not only them but, a good portion of the clearing and some trees as well.

“Wow” I said to myself in shock at what I had done

‘Good now that you know what you are somewhat capable of we should find out where we are’

‘You're right I saw a small town in that direction while we were in the air’ I told him as I pointed to the direction I saw the town

‘Then we should hurry and find out where we are and to see if we could figure out how we got here and how to get back’

‘You're right again but it'll take a few hours to get there’

‘Not if you use shunpo’

‘I can do that?’

‘Yes just concentrate your spirit energy on your feet and focus on where you want to go’

‘Alright’

I do exactly as Hyourinmaru told me to do but on the first few tries I either ran into a tree or wasn't focused enough that I appeared in another random place, but then I finally was able to successfully appear at the edge of the town but I was shocked at what I found, technicolor ponies walking around going around doing their business whether it was shopping for food from vendors, selling their products to others, or just talking to one another. Now it made sense of how timberwolves existed I was somehow transported to the world of Equestria from My Little Pony.

This became a lot more interesting and complicated yet I was overjoyed at the chance to fulfill a brony’s wish to meet the mane six and be in the land of MLP, but I had to figure out how far in the show I was in so far. I could be at the beginning of the show or in between seasons or after season 5

With that in mind I started to look around but I didn't let anyone see me I wouldn't want them to freak out, and get scared of me the second they see me.

After looking around, without anybody spotting me, I came to a conclusion that I came at the time before the show even started, because when I was looking around Sweet Apple Acres the CMC’s club house wasn't rebuilt, The golden oaks library I saw it was unoccupied by twilight and spike, and when I spotted a calendar through the widow of the Sugar Cube Corner I saw that the summer sun celebration was next week. Which means that I could practice my new abilities and master the enough to protect the mane six when the head to the Everfree forest to look for the Elements of Harmony, but the question is where would I train?

‘Why not In the forest we were just in? It's a suitable place to train; open space, constant danger to help you keep alert of your surroundings and to help with your reflexes plus to help with your bankai training.’ Hyourinmaru made a good point but- wait bankai training?

‘I thought I already had bankai?’ I asked him confused

‘You do but we're going to train you to increase the time you could hold it.’ He explained ‘and you need to learn how to wield me in combat and how to use kido’

He made a good point, in both the anime and manga Hitsugaya he still hasn't completely mastered bankai because he has a limit on how long he could hold it. I also need to master shunpo to where I can use it during a battle and I was super excited to learn kidō, I had memorized most of the incantation that they showed in both anime and manga so this should be easy.

(2 hours later deep in the Everfree forest)

OH MY GOD THIS IS SO FREAKING HARD

I was currently lying on the ground face first after another failed attempt at doing Hado #31 shakkahō it kept on blowing up in my face.

‘You're putting too much spirit energy into the spell and you weren't concentrating on on your target or the spell do it again!’

‘Hey Hadō is a lot difficult for me to use I was doing great learning Bakudō spells’

‘Bakudō is fine when you're trying to capture or immobilize your opponent but you also need offensive spells to damage your enemy during a battle’

Again, he makes a good point but I had enough Hadō training for today, I want to see if I could hold my bankai for as long as in the anime or not

‘Okay but can we drop Hadō training for today I want to improve my bankai’

‘Very well, we will continue Hadō spells tomorrow, now Increase your spirit energy and release our bankai’

I do as he says until I reached a point I knew I could perform bankai

BANKAI, DAIGUREN HYOURINMARU

The temperature around me seemed to drop drastically as I unleashed my bankai. Wings and a tail made of ice were formed on my back and lower back, respectively, and my arms and legs were covered in ice to look like dragon feet and claws, and finally three four-petaled ice were floating behind me signifying that I had yet to fully master my bankai

‘Okay time to see what we could do’

After a few more hours of training we decided that that was enough for today and rested for the rest of the day. Luckily I had some snacks in my backpack along with the rest of my things I had brought with me to show my friends-

But that's when it hit me I couldn't remember who my friends and family were and I couldn't remember my name or anything before the convention. I was really starting to freak out now

‘You need to calm down-’

‘How am I supposed to calm down! I can't remember anything before I came here! I can't remember my friend or my family or if I had any! I can't even remember my own name!’

‘Just take a deep breath and try to calm down'

I did as he said and managed to calmed myself and try to think hard on who I was at least remember my name.

‘I can't remember my name. What am I going to do’

‘Remember we can ask the princesses for help after the summer sun celebration, now rest for the day we'll continue training tomorrow’

Yeah I think that's a good idea, but what will I do for the rest of the day?

Then I remembered that my backpack came with me to this world hopefully everything's in perfect condition as I had it before all this happened.

Luckily everything was OK and I was right to bring a solar charger to recharge my phone and computer, everything else I bought from the convention was here as well but the plushy was ruined by timberwolf on the third day I was training thinking it was real and the hollow mask was gone.

For the rest of the week it was the same; wake up, find food, train until 7 or 8, find more food, then relax either using my phone or computer to entertain myself either games or shows I save on them, I even found a waterfall bathed, but I was constantly attacked by some of the creatures that live around here, but they back away after I defeated an Ursa Major, who was trying to prove it was stronger than me, with by bankai, now no other monster dared to attack me.and my training was going great I mastered all of the Bakudō spell that I know and most of the Hadō spell, but I still had the crossed shape flowers floating but instead of three I had five of them meaning i can use it for a longer period of time, but i still had some more training to do. Then the day before the summer sun celebration came and i decided to relax until the mane six entered the forest.

(Twilight POV)

At the Castle in Canterlot a young mare named Twilight Sparkle was being paranoid. She’s a unicorn with deep violet coat and darker mane and tail with a lighter shade of purple and pink highlight going down both mane and tail.

Something has been going on in the forest near ponyville, it was causing some major disturbance in the atmosphere and Princess Celestia, and surprisingly spike, felt a strong, unfamiliar, energy signature coming from there. I tried to convince Princess Celestia to allow me to investigate the weird energy, but she denied it telling me that the energy was coming from the most dangerous forest in all Equestria. Initially I immediately dropped the idea and went to do more researching

I then found an old prophecy that Nightmare Moon would return to plunge the world in eternal night on the thousand summer sun celebration, which happened to be tomorrow, I have to warn the Princess about this.

“I can’t believe that the princess thinks that the prophecy would be a myth. We need to prepare incase Nightmare Moon shows up, not checking up on the celebration” I told spike as we were on a charage going to ponyville for the Summer Sun Celebration.

“Relax Twilight, maybe mom’s right maybe it is just an old ponies tale, but remember what she assigned us to do; We’re supposed to check up on the preparation of the festival and she also said you're supposed to make some friend while we’re there” Said spike as he was sitting back on the seat without a care in the world.

Spike is a dragon with purple scales and green underbelly and spikes going from on top of his head to almost the tip of his spade tail with emerald eye and he was a year older than Twilight. He also towered over her by a foot

They meet when Celestial introduced them after Twilight had to perform her magic capabilities to be accepted in Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns and lost control, after almost giving up on the entrance exam, before Celestia calmed her down, and fixed everything that Twilight changed or destroyed. She then appointed Twilight to be her personal student and to study under her because of the strong magic that she had possessed. She then introduced her to her adopted son, who she hatched a few years ago, and became best friends and with spike assisting her on her studies.

“I know but as soon as we finish the preparation for the festival we'll head straight for the library to do some more research”

“But she also said to make some friend, remember?”

“That can wait. We have to be prepared if Nightmare Moon shows up and decided to throw all of Equestria into eternal night!”

She then proceeds to mumble to herself, thinking of ways to help prevent the possible threat that Equestria might face.

‘What am I going to do with you Twi’ Spike thought to himself with a small smile as they neared Ponyville.

Saving the six and introduction

Once I spotted the chariot that carried both Spike and Twilight I knew that this would be different from the show because Spike looked different, older, more mature and I think I saw a few ponies bowing to him. I also sense that Spike, and somepony else, had spirit energy but Spike’s was stronger while the other was noticeably weaker that I couldn't sense it the first time I was here.

I immediately decided I would train Spike, and maybe even the other ponies with spirit energy, on how to perform kido to help them protect the mane six, but after they manage to defeat Nightmare Moon and after I had fully introduced myself.

But for now I have to wait until they head to Everfree to look for the Elements.

It was hilarious watching twilight and spike meet the others but I noticed some huge differences.

When they meet Pinkie she acted as she did in the show, but when they meet Applejack, the entire Apple family bowed to Spike and tried to treat him with their utmost respect but calmed down after Spike talked to them, I couldn't quite hear what he said though (maybe spike’s royalty in this universe?).

Then, when they meet Rainbow dash, instead of just flying into Twilight she flew into both of them. After she saw who she crashed into, she went on full panic mode and I could practically hear her repeatedly apologizing for crashing into them and getting them dirty, and tried to fix it by drenching them, and after she did that she apologized again and tried to dry them off. I couldn't stop laughing that I completely missed her talking to Spike (how he forgave her and laughed at how he and his friend looked) and Twilight about how she was supposed to clear out the skies but I saw how she did clear the skies and returned to the, now speechless, dragon and pony to boast then leave with relieved expression on her face.

They then met Rarity as she swooned at the sight of Spike but then dragged both of them to her store when she got a closer look at them. Later, I saw them leave the store in a hurry.

Then they met Fluttershy, who once she laid eyes on Spike, looked like she didn't know weather to be scared and hide or to be respectful and bow, so she decided to faint.

I wanted so badly to go over there and see if she was alright but I didn't want to reveal myself too early, so I settled for watching from a distance. After she had woken up and Spike managed to convince her that he wasn't dangerous, she began to ask him questions about his race, likes, dislikes, etc.

The time had come. After the whole party at the library and after Nightmare Moon’s return the mane six were ready to head inside the forest, but unlike in the show, Spike was going with them.

‘Huh. I was right. I landed in an alternative mlp where spike is more involved. But my mind is still set on keeping them safe while in there. Ready Hyourinmaru?’

‘Ready as I'll ever be.’

With that I started following them.

(Twilight’s POV)

After the events off the scary trees, manticore and almost falling to my death we came across a river that that was occupied by a sea serpent that was moaning about his ruined mustache that he was blocking our way to the old castle, but rarity gave up her beautiful tail to fix his mustache and then helped us pass, but I was wondering if he knew anything that happened in the forest a week ago. So, I asked him.

“Excuse me but do you know what happened here about a week ago that caused the strange power surge and weather?”

His face immediately changed from one of gratitude to one of fear.

“About a week ago a strange creature showed up in the middle of the Everfree forest. No one knew where he came from but over the past few days it has been here, it showed that it is extremely dangerous,” He explained with clear fear in his voice, while he looked around.

“Haha! I bet i can take him,” Rainbow dash boasted

“You wouldn’t even stand a chance! His attacks are all ice based! When he first got here he froze a pack of timberwolves, then as the week went by he froze a dozen manticores, a few full grown dragons and a hydra, but the rest of the creatures of the forest left him alone when he transformed into an ice monster that defeated a full grown Ursa Major without receiving a single scratch!” He exclaimed in panic and worry

But this information was both interesting and terrifying to all of us. A mysterious creature capable of defeating the strongest monster in all of Equestria without being injured and living in the Everfree forest no less.

At that moment the temperature seemed to drop, and the sea serpent seemed more panicked.

“Oh no. It's here. Hurry run before it finds you!” He said as he descended back in the water and left.

“Y’all heard i’m lets go for’ dat creature finds us!” Applejack said snapping us out of our shock.

When we felt that the temperature was dropping even more we ran as fast as we could to get to the old castle and away from the monster that was closing in on us.

(Hitsugaya’s POV)

I would like to say that I didn’t mean to scare them. I heard the sea serpent’s talking to them about me but after he finished talking I spotted a pack of 16 timberwolves closing in on the group.

(10 minutes ago)

‘Damn these things,’ I thought as I flash stepped in front of the pack and got ready to fight

Reign upon the frozen Heavens, Hyourinmaru

I tried to beat them as quickly as I could so I wouldn’t loose the group, so I unleashed a wave of ice that froze four of the timberwolves that where on the far right, and used Hado #31 that burned five more.

The remaining timberwolves then started charging at me. Three of them circle around me trying to find an opening to try to, at least, wound me. The last four tried to attack me at once. I ducked under one that tried to jump at me and swung my sword and cut it in half vertically.

“Leave now or pay the consequences!” I said in a threatening voice while increasing my spiritual pressure causing the temperature to drop even more.

The remaining 6 timberwolves took the warning and ran away.

By the time I went back to watch over the group I saw them run with a scared expression on their faces.

‘They must have sensed my spiritual pressure. Damn!’

With that in mind I began my chase behind them.

(Spike’s POV)

After running from the mysterious creature and crossing the bridge we finally made it to the old castle.

“Alright, let’s start looking for the elements,” I heard Twilight say as she started looking around.

“I found them!!” Pinkie shouted from across the room.

“These are the elements?” Asked Rainbow Dash as she looked at some dull, shattered rocks.

“I don't understand. How could this happen?” Twilight said, starting to panic.

“That would be my doing,” a voice said as Nightmare Moon appeared in front of us. “I knew someone would try to look for those pesky elements so I decided to destroy them, and now I'll rid myself of you meddlesome foals,” she said as she charged her horn.

“The night will be eternal!!” She yelled as the fired the spell.

We all huddled up together waiting for the spell to hit us but then we felt the temperature drop and heard an explosion. However, as we opened our eyes, we saw a wall of ice in front of us, which most likely saved us from the spell.

From the other side of the ice wall we could see Nightmare Moon glaring at something towards our right.

“Who dares to interfere with the ruler of the night!”

We then turned to look where she was facing and saw a strange bipedal creature with white hair and, what looked to be, a white robe over some black clothing with a sword drawn

“My name is Toshiro Hitsugaya and I am here to fight you”
