A young changeling queen who was exile to manehatten for fail to participate in the invasion of canterlot. Decide to overthrow Queen Chrysalis for stealing a another pony perfect mate from her. But she wanting more then that. She want to form a new hive so changeling can live in peace and love with another ponies. But Queen Chrysalis isn't going down without a fight. Will the young queen success her vision of her perfect world or will the evil Queen chrysalis destroy her and let the the rebellious changeling hive die alone.
As the darkness of the night cover Equestria and All of the ponies was heading home to they warm bed. A small black Changeling with red strips wearing a very dirty shirt and ripped blue jeans was taking shelter in the cardboard box. All alone in the dark, she try to keep warm from the winds and try to sleep away the pain from the day. As everypony was at home sleeping in they warm bed,She was miserable in her box in the alleyways. She was crying her eyes out and it start to rain outside.
As the rain start pouring down heavier on her the more tears she crying out. She try to cover herself up with old newspapers of The Manehatten Times. But the winds was blowing hard too. She fight against the elements all the way to the dawn and sunshine. As the weather start to calm down, so does she and as the sun start beaming down on her and light up the alleyways,She start to get up and crawl out of her box to Stretch out her hooves to start surviving another day being on the streets (Homeless). She start looking around the city for some foods to eat. But she had no luck.
She change into a earth pony before she venture even more of the city like for some food to help her carry over through noontime. After a few hours of searching, she found a restaurant in downtown that serving hayburgers and manage to grab one and eat it quickly. She continue to walk around the city for a park to hang out and play. The parents often stare at her as she play with they foals and ask themselves, if the parent give a care about her. But foals ask her where is her parents at? But she often reply it by head shaking or just ignore the question.
She spend most of the days walking to park to park and playing on the playground. She also looking for lunch and dinner between the periods of time. As the sky start turning to black and the moon start appearing in the east of city. She looking down some alley to stay for the night. With lucky, She found some newspaper but no cardboard box to sleep in tonight. So she sleeping without a shelter tonight. The weather is nice with her, She thought. But weather have another plan, It starting to rain lightly at first then later on Heavy rain. It was her most miserable night of her life. She always wonder where was the nightmares going to end.
Then One day: This Happened
As the night begin to start, A very wealthy and successful stallion with a special ability was walking to his penthouse suite. But notice a little foal hiding in the box. He start to inspect it and wonder who is it. Hello, he said in a clam voice hoping to that the foal come out and reveal herself. But nothing. Anypony there, He tried again using his clam voice but still no respond. The wealthy stallion decide to get up and continue to walk to the suite. Queen Phillip remain in her box and continue to sleep the night away. The weathy stallion couldn't get the image of a foal sleeping in the box the entire night.
Morning have come again and after a few minutes of his daily workout routine and the Stallion start heading to his job at Maneplay 5 studio. He start heading to his office and Look over the schedule of his corporate calendar. Being the boss of the only indie game company of Manehatten (and probably all of Equestria) could be a hard but fun at the same time. The maneplay 5 stories is short and interesting one for the books, But since most ponies is forced on the corporate-based games and accessories. Some indie developer fail to impress the gamers with they games. But the Maneplay 5 has another plan for the industry.
As the boss looking at the events on the calendar, One event is there for the kids to see to the studio and give them a opportunity to test out they game for releasing to the public. He alway enjoy the seeing foal face smiling when they playing the game but he also feel sad at the same time. Because he doesn't have one on it and he been on the dating scene for a year and yet have no luck to find the perfect mare for him. But he also see some single stallions adopting foal for they own but he don't want to be the single dad to them. The thought of having kids to go through live without knowing who they real parents are is too much for him to think on.
But being a indie game studio does has it perk and advantage. The boss decide to bear the grief that he created and give the foal the tour of it studio. As the morning start to turning into early afternoon, The studio start letting the foal in and walk through the studio as the president give the detail about every room and tell them a little story about it. The tour went on for hours into the late afternoon, but before the foal were sent off to they way home. The president enter the testing room and have the foal trying out they game. The game called Follow the dragon. The objective of the game is you are a pony-raised dragon and you will call in by the dragon and you have to follow the quests she give you. The foal was very antsy with the control and gameplay, But they have fun with it, After complete one quest in the game. The president poll the foal about the game and ask for they opinions.
The kids was very collaborative with the programmer and the programmer are very thrill with the foal reactions. Maneplay 5 game primary focus and mission is creating a New,Clean,Honest,Fun game for kids and everypony who love games. It been a year since the equestria video game Renaissance begin and indie studio been popping up everywhere in Equestria and making more games. Maneplay 5 is the leader of the renaissance and being doing a good job of it. The president was pleased with the studio vision of making game that everypony will play. The result of that dream have been extraordinary beyond they belief. The boss could be happier with the result of the company.
As the night fall on the city and the light start shining on the street. The boss close the studio and heading home only notice the same box was moving again, But it also making noises as well. The stallion approach the box again but this time take out a piece of candy for the thing inside. Queen phillip was hungry and decide to Grab it quickly and eat it. But the stallion wasn't ready to get up yet. So he take out another one and put it further away from the box and hide. Queen decide to walk out and examining it close and eat it. The stallion walk over to her and say hi to her. But only to found out she got scared and run back in her box.
The stallion pull out one more piece of candy for her but leave in his hand so she have it. Queen once again come out and eat it from his hand. She like it and him, the stallion was happy that the filly come out of the box and like him. But he also want to take her home. The queen eyes want wide after he was thinking of that. The stallion did and decide to Take her home with him. The queen was happy of the stallion kindness and the stallion was too at the filly look of it face. As the stallion arrive at his suite she set her down on the floor and let her look around the suite for herself. Queen was mind-brown and went to hopping up and down everywhere around the suite.
The stallion was happy and start cooking dinner for her. As Queen Phillip continue to look around the suite and wonder how a stallion like him make a living. Dinner is ready, he called out. Queen rush to the dining room and sit on the stool. The stallion give her a plate filled with veggie and meat on it. As the queen phillip was eating the stallion ask her what her name is. My name is vitra hoof, Vitra hoof was a stallion to built but he mostly a tech geek and only into video game development. He is at least 7 feet tall and love seeing kids smile. As vitra hoof waiting her to tell her name is. The queen remember that she still is in her earth pony form. I know you a earth pony and probably has a country name like Applejack or Rider but what is it. Queen respond it with nods but didn't tell her name. Vitra hoof ask can you talk. Queen nods again. Well, can tell me what your name is. Queen shake her head. Ok ok, How about this, Vitra hoof grab a piece of paper and hand it to her. Can you write he ask her. Queen nods yes for sure. Vitra grab a pen and give it her to write. The queen start drawing picture of a crown and write down "phillip"
Virta hoof pick up the paper and try to figure out her name is. But the Queen fell asleep on the stool, So vitra hoof take her to his room and laid her down. He also laid down as it was getting late and need his rest for work tomorrow.
The celestia sun is rising and Virta Hoof wake up and start getting for another day of work at his studio. He walk over to Queen side of his bed and kiss her on the cheek as he leaving the suite. Queen start waking up around 11:00 A.M, Wow,I never knew bed were so soft and cuddly she said as she was hugging the pillow. She jump out of the bed looking for virta hoof but he wasn't around to been seen. At first, Queen thought he was going to a store to buy her some new clothes. But then he didn't know what her size is, so no. Then Queen knew around the suite some picture of him and a group of ponies on computers making 3D animation.
As the queen continue her tour around the suite of her new father figure, she trip on a game console and look at it. Hmmmm, interesting as she examine it. What is this she asked herself. She putting down on the floor and notice a power button on it as along a eject button below it. ok, let's see what it do. She touch the power button and the system start powering up but nothing happen yet. Huh, That it. She think as she look at it and think what could wrong with it. ok, the thing it on but it nothing is happening. as she look around the console again, she notice some cables to connecting to it.
Huh, this is new she said as she follow the cables to a yet another electronic device. hmmm, this is fascinating she said looking around the another device. Hmmm, another button. Wait, this have a few more buttons then the last one. She turn on the device and saw at screen with pictures and name on it. She look around for another device, hopefully something to control it the two things (or one of the two things). She spend the last few minutes looking a controller to the devices. But she didn't know how to use it and don't know which one she is controlling it. But she notice the rectangle outline is moving left and right on the screen.
Huh, what the. she react to the screen action and wonder what is happening to it. She look down at the bottom left corner and look at the button and what they do. She press one and it went to another screen with Application and games at the bottom and social features at the top. She continue pressing the directional pad left and right and it highlighting different features. hmmmm, which one should i try first. she thought as looking at the home screen. hmmmmm, i wonder what happen if press the down button and she did. The screen move down and she play around it for few more minutes and accidentally press the action button and went into the game. oh no, she said worried that she mess up the screen on the t.v.
Oh, curd no no. I mess up i mess up bad. She said to herself as she panicking around the suite figuring what should she do. ok i can just leave, she think. But before she could leave word appear on the screen and it said "The Playroom". huh, she thought as she look at options on the screen. She select the option that already highlighted and another screen show up but nothing happens. The screen then show a diagram of a hoof and it flick up on the touchpad. She flick on the touch pad and more option show around the controller. As she move left and right on the touchpad and see the various modes to pick from.
She press on one of them on the touchpad and and another screen pop up show a drone. huh, a drone she said as she getting scare by it. She hide behind the couch and shiver in fear as the drone fly around but little does she know it on the screen. As she peek her head from the couch she see the drone is sad and lonely. Huh, she said and start walk a little more out from the couch and start interacting with it. Oh,it friendly as she playing it and make it happy as well as her and tickle it. As smile appear on her face Virta hoof walk in on her. You know i was worry about you leaving you alone with to do but it seen you pretty entertain yourself.
Queen Phillip stop and said huh. The game you know you playing it, right. Oh, yeah that. well, i can't find you and i was alone and tip on the system and start playing around on it.
So you was alone and don't have any friend except for a virtual drone on a PlayStation. Virta Hoof said watching her playing with it. Then he notice that she is a young earth pony and She probably was very tired from the first night in the suite. So that why she was so tired and the bed was soft to sleep on. So he go with that theory and set down some bags filled with clothes. So are you done with the drone uh uh.
Queen Phillip set the controller down and close the application, leaving the system on. She walk over the bags and wondering what in it. Hmmm, what is it. she said.
Well, while you was sleeping and playing with a virtual drone on PlayStation. i went shopping for you and buy some swag for you. I actually don't know your size is. So i grab some medium size shirts,shorts,pants,and some undergarment. He grab the clothes out and hand it her. Now go to the bathroom and try them out he instructed. Queen Phillip went to the bathroom and put on a white t-shirt and blue jeans and went out to show Virta hoof the outfit. Virta hoof look at her and smile at her. Ok, good. he hand her more clothes and tell her to them all on.
As minutes which felt like hour to her went by. Queen phillip try on ten different outfits with different colors and designs combinations. Virta hoof was liking the way she smiling as she trying the clothes she wearing. Queen phillip was wondering why he was treating like a children. She know that was a little earth filly form but she actually a grown changeling at heart. But she like being a child and be wild and free like the cool kids. But she still want to truthful to virta hoof and help to spread advocate for a united equestria that the princess could improve on. and Virta hoof is the key to that success.
As Queen phillip try the last of the clothes on. She turn her attention to virta hoof and decide to ask him. Um, mr. virta she said. yes as virta hoof was in the kitchen and cooking some dinner for her. um, why do you buy my some clothes she asked. Because you going to a very special place tomorrow he added. Really, How special is it. she asked. Very special he responded. okay, can't wait. She smiled as the answer. Queen phillip wonder what the very special place he talking about.
Queen Phillip sitting at the table waiting for Virta Hoof to finish cooking and have a little talk about his day. Virta hoof was fixing her a royal meal of hot dogs and fries. Hm,i hope she like it he thought as he finish it up, But she is something special I can tell her by her interest and backstory. He thought as he walk over there to her and present her plate to her.
Queen Phillip look at the plate with cautions and wonder it is poisonous or not. Virta hoof look at her with worry and concern. But he was her caretaker and he is helping her to grow up as a responsible and productive pony in manehatten and equestria. Queen phillip was still playing with her food and wonder what it is. Virta Hoof is worry about her, He knew she was homeless and never have a mare (or Stallion) to care for her. But he was determine to rise her. So he come over and help her feed. But Queen Phillip is old enough to feed herself.
Virta hoof pick up a wiener and feed her like a foal. Queen Phillip take a bite and chew it careful before swallow it down her throat. Queen smile with glee and she didn't die, So she pick another and start eating it that too. mmmmmmm Said Queen Phillip as she continue to eat the dogs and fries. Virta hoof was happy that she enjoy it and her being here as the foal in the city. Virta hoof feel like a dad to her and he never raise a foal before. So it a win win for him and to her because she never have a actual parent rise her. As Queen Phillip finish up her hot dogs and get up from the dinner table.
Virta hoof was washing the dishes and cleaning up the kitchen. Queen Phillip was in the living room and start thinking what is the special event that Virta hoof is taking her to. Queen phillip was happy to be here and being care for, As she look over the entrainment system and wonder what it is does and wonder why he know that you were playing with it. Although he couldn't figure it out on his own or have a special security system in his suite. But he couldn't figure it out, because he was at work and he didn't wake her up and tell her what she can and can't do.
Virta Hoof walk in and sit on the couch with her and start telling her the good news. Queen Phillip was listening and seen interested at the same time. Virta hoof telling her about his Studios and what they do. Queen phillip was surprise at his announcement and start smiling very big at him. Virta hoof was happy too and like the way she smile at him. As Virta hoof continue to explain the news, Queen phillip was smiling and wags her tail like a dog. Virta hoof notice and clam her down, whoa there nelly. it just for a day. added Virta hoof. Yeah, but I just so excite about this and I can't wait. said Queen Phillip.
Well,Let get ready for bed said Virta hoof while he walk into the bathroom to brush his teeth and help Queen Phillip to brush her and get her in newly-purchased pajama and laid her down to sleep. Virta hoof was satisfied that he finally had his own foal to take care of and see it grow. Virta hoof was happy that she was happy about getting out of the house and seeing the world for the first time since he take her in. Virta hoof realize that being out the street for quite some time could be challenging but he has high hope for her. She been home trained for short amount of time now. Virta hoof worried that she could be a problematique to the another pony around her since seeing her around try to figure the console.
But Virta hoof had confidence in her and she will behave like civil city foal 2moro morning as he turn away from her and fall asleep getting ready for tomorrow morning.
As the rising sun made her appearance for the day to start. Virta hoof got up and wash up and made breakfast for her daughter and himself. Queen Phillip was still asleep in the very soft bed, Virta hoof walk in and wake her up to eat her breakfast and get dress for the day. After a few minute of morning prep. The Duo was ready to take on the world and start the day.The Virta hoof and Queen Phillip start walking down the tough street of manehatten to Virta hoof place of employment. Queen Phillip was nervous about this, Because she was going to stick out like a sore thumb at the workplace and everypony is going to judge by her cover.
But Virta Hoof want to introduce her to some another little foal beside staying in the apartment all alone with herself. As Virta hoof walk in the reception area and sign in and her for bring your foal to work day. Queen Phillip follow Virta hoof to his office and sit in the couch directly cross from him. Virta hoof turn on his computer and waiting to start up, Queen Phillip curiosity was at her peek as she look around the office space and Figure it out with he do all day. She notice a couple posters around the office that look like some kind computer animation. Couple of her predication start to form in her mind and Thinking his could a developer of some kinds or he is some kinds creative advocator.
Few of the employer around the building starting whinny about the president who for the first time bring a foal to work. Even some foal some chatting about that too. But some start asking themselves who is this foal? and how does the president got her? The foals and the employer were start foaming some idea about the two questions either with logics or illogic's thought of the president dating lifestyle or the adoption of her. But most employer who work with virta hoof are married and have foals of they own. Half the time they were discussing about they family life and marriage they had. It mostly make the president feel left out because he be single for awhile.
As most of employer were on they lunch break leaving the foals in the separate room with a table filled of snacks,drinks,and various sweets. Queen Phillip grab herself a plate and fill it with a couple sider, Cola, and a Chocolate bar. She sat at the table all by herself for a few minutes and a couple of foals from the another employer come over and try to get her in engage with the conversation that everypony was talking about her.
Um, hi I'm shiny quartz, Shiny quartz is a glam-uped Pegasus who interest in jewel and the life of the royalist. even through her parent are game developer, She decide try to make the best of it she can. Mostly because She believe royalist doesn't waste they days playing on game that they couldn't go outside and socialize without using a keyboard and don't see a pony face. Her coat was grey while her mane and tail are anime white. The mane style is flirtatious while her tail is styled in a playful manner. Her parent don't mind her interest in the royal lifestyle but she want her to understand that not everypony can be regal and be a royalist like the princesses or the elite.
Sitting beside her and want to know the queen better too is a unicorn stallion name pixel shoe. Pixel shoe was a stallion who has very creative yet impossibly crazy idea for equestria gaming industry. One of them which bring the real world into the game world with the power of creating Augment reality game(s) for the smartphones but he also notice some company create handheld console with AR Technology built in. So his idea could go to them too because he believe that mobile games is just a fab for the cool foals to join in. but he also went to rebirth the console generations with augment ideas.
While the two trying make headwave with her, Queen Phillip was being in anti social with the foals but she does want some friends. So she want be lonely when her father is at work but she not sure that they live in the same apartment building like her. But she don't like to be lonely all day with nopony talk to like before. So she try to engage in they convention. But the conversation is about her and virta hoof relationship and how they meet. Queen was unsure how to answer the questions they about to ask. But she we try her best to answer it she could.
Pixel shoe and Shiny Quartz introduce them (Well Shiny Quartz already introduce herself,So she do it again). So Shiny Quartz introduce himself to her. Hi, I'm Pixel Shoe he said as he extend his hoof for a shake. But Queen phillip look down at her empty plate but she quickly get up and throw it away in trash can before she return to the table with Shiny Quartz and Pixel Shoe. The two ponies ask her about Virta hoof and her. The first question is: how do you and Virta hoof meet Shiny Quartz asked queen phillip.

Virta hoof come in and said that break time over and it time to test some game that they are working on. Since today was kids day, is the kids are the tester. Normally the company will hire some grown ponies to test the game like most game developer do. But Mareplay 5 was different, They let the foal test the game because most developer are making game for grown ponies and teens but some are making kids but they are no many kids studios like maneplay 5 is.
