"I say... You should definitely talk to her." The failed businessman of the year said, dropping his glass on the table.

"And I say, you should definitely go home, Dmitri." I pushed aside the skull-shaped bottle of vodka, as if trying to prevent him of pouring another shot. "My dear comrade, you're stinking like a horse"

"Don't be so mean, horses don't stink." He responded with a grin.

"If horses drank as much alcohol as you do, they surely would." I scowled at the thought. "Check, please." I said to the nearest bartender; a dark-haired girl around her twenties, probably got lost in Vegas and never returned to her mother’s doorstep again. Her look said the automatic 'Hello Sir, welcome to the Mountain Lounge', but for me, her eyes screamed way more than a polite greeting; or in this case, a goodbye.

"Thank you for choosing our club, we wish you a nice stay in the city." After her mandatory artificial farewell and smile, the girl placed our glasses with care in a crystal tray, and walked away - but not before dropping a silvery card on the table. ‘By accident’

"Sunny Williams" I muttered to myself, checking the card.

"I said she was into you." Dmitri snickered, stealing the card from my hands. "Now, now... That's something we don't see every day; no phone number, no address-" He raised his eyebrows, looking at me as if expecting a clever response.

"She's not the type of girl who wants to receive stupid calls at midnight, and waste her glamour being someone else's high-end prostitute" I said, shaking my head. Dmitri snorted, throwing the card back on the table.

"That's what you think." He said.

"It's deductive thinking." I placed Sunny's card in my wallet, between my credit card, and the keycard of my hotel room.

"It's bullshit, and you know that." He insisted. “All this psychology of yours… You’re not going to dominate the world with a bottle of anti-depressants.”

I ignored him.

"I think I’ve already mentioned that you're stinking like an alcoholic beast. And how the fuck you are, Dmitri." I sighed, looking at my friend with a mix of pity and disdain. "Not a week ago you was like ‘The shining savior of New Vegas’, confidence oozing from your ears - and now you are a rotting piece of... Whatever”

“It’s about time to wake up to life again dude, stop going to these decadent nightclubs." I added with sincerity.

"But the Armenians messed up with me-" He started his whining.

"No, no they didn't!” I hit the glass table with a closed fist, it wobbled dangerously, spilling our colored drinks around. “You messed up with the Armenians – And I told you, I warned you, I saved your fucking life. Listen Dmitri- Vegas is not the city for you, we can't fool around with the bosses here. This is not Leninsk-Kuznetsky, you don't own a distillery anymore."

“But they stole my contracts-"

"Dmitri... It's over.” I opened my hands, shrugging. “Just go back to your hotel room, or whatever – take a shower, have some sleep – you know, the basics. And get out of the town."

I discreetly slid a white envelope across the table. "I wish I could do more for you, honestly - but I can't."

“I guess you've done way more than you should for me.” He nodded. “I thank you for that, Alpert” Dmitri had a sad smile on his face, one of those that make you feel the pain behind the expression.
“I think I have something for you too. I just need to- to find it." He groped the pockets of his thick leather jacket, Dmitri was blatantly drunk and his left hand could barely open a zipper.

"J-just look, you don't need to give me anything in return." I said, waving my hands.

"You need to have some fun, comrade. Let the mind drift away.” He said. For a moment I thought he would give me a tab of LSD “It's not a payment, Alpert. It's a gift, from Russia." He had a creepy smile on his face by the time he finally found whatever he was looking for. I guess I couldn't deny a gift from Russia.

With a glassy clank, Dmitri placed a small bottle in front of me, not larger than an energy drink can. Its angular octagonal design reminded me of an exquisite perfume bottle, there was some sort of embossed seal stamped on its surface, surrounded by a ring of Russian words I could not even pronounce.

"It is my last bottle of Lake Mist - probably the last one in this side of the world - we never know for sure.” He explained. I carefully lifted the bottle; it was so light I could swear it was empty. Still, through the glassy surface I could see a crystalline liquid swirling inside. When the lights of the bar reflected inside the bottle, the ethereal substance sparkled even more.

"What is this?" I asked, perplexed by the sight. “A new brand of craft vodka?”

"Lake Mist is an ancient beverage; it’s like Vodka with… special perks. Seems crazy, I know, but the thing is distilled from the purest water of Lake Sushchnost.” I stared dubiously at the bottle, pondering about the ‘special perks’ Dmitri had mentioned.

“And what’s the thing with this lake?”

“A lake trapped under the polar ice cap for thousands and thousands of years. Each bottle is unique, as well the taste, and the effects.
I can't say I was feeling very comfortable in accepting the Lake Mist; drunken people tend to give away a lot of things - sometimes precious things.

"Dmitri, it's really nice of you but I can't-"

"The bottle is yours my friend." He stood up quite abruptly, stuffing the envelope inside his jacket, and closing it. "Make good use of it. I'll make good use of what you gave me, I promise."

In an odd moment of mutual understanding, we nodded, shook hands, and walked away, leaving the luxurious lounge behind. Dmitri with a few thousand dollars in his pocket, and I with a bottle of Lake Mist.

As the days passed me by, a feeling that my stay in the city was close to an end started to bug me. It was all about business, and when business gets out of hand, it's time to move on to another place, find another pasture.

When you deal with rich people all the time, you must accept that for them you are just a gear. And I'm not talking about the ordinary elite; senators, directors, landowners. No... The world is already full of them.

I'm talking about business tycoons, heads of the opium mafia and billionaires with nothing to fear or lose. I was a mean to reach an end, and that was all. There's no poetry in the game. The only difference between me and Dmitri, was that Dmitri couldn't carry out his task. He became a useless gear, and useless parts are generally discarded.

Another thing about rich people: They are weird.

They progressively stop caring about what the world thinks about them as they become richer and richer. They will often ask you very specific things, like golden toilet bowls, and robotic ponies.

Unlike my Russian friend, my job was done, and for another year or so, I could live in peace.

Or at least I thought so…

I struggled to fit my baggage into the car trunk, one of the bags was sticking out in a way I couldn’t close the door without breaking the hinges.

I sighed, hefting the cumbersome bag to the backseat.

I was about to leave Vegas for a long time; I wanted to visit my family in Florida, and was willing to drive all the way there. It was a stupid childhood dream to cross the country all by myself.

Of course, these childhood dreams become even better when you have a bag stuffed with money on your backseat.

That bottle of Lake Mist… It stared at me from the cooler box. I wouldn’t touch it soon.

I climbed into the car, and silently drove away from the loud city, leaving those blinking lights and addicted minds behind. Deeply I knew that I was everything but the good guy, but I also had the certainty in mind, that the worst villains were the ones paying for my job.

My thoughts arrived loaded with new possibilities, I could finally open a company, do my business according to the law. Hell, I could even get married now.

I was tired of this corrosive life-style; tired of the same poker tables, of asking for a suite on the non-smoking floor, and receiving keys to a room that smelled like a crematory.

I wished the best of luck to Dmitry, if he wanted to keep trying. But I had my share.

The night was falling early in that part of the year, and soon the metropolis gleamed with the light of a thousand suns. For me, it was a dazzling experience to drive around that part of the town at night.

I saw Bellagio and its majestic fountains at distance, and smiled.

I had good memories of that place, although I wasn’t that fond of casinos, let alone gambling. While doing business there, I met this girl, can’t remember the name anymore. We sat together the whole night; it was like finding a childhood friend.

I know it’s almost impossible, but I wish I could stumble against her one day.

I couldn’t stop staring through my rear-view mirror; two black SUV’s wouldn’t leave my back nor would they overtake my car.

Both vehicles had dark tinted windows, and I could barely see who, or what was inside. I feared for the feds, but I was a slow driver, and they could easily stop me if they wanted.

Still unsettled by the suspicious presence, I decided to take a turn, speeding up as fast as I could down the Boulevard.

Suddenly, a third car made a freaking bootleg turn in the middle of the road.

From that moment on, I knew I’d be screwed.

A group of two or three guys lowered the windows of their SUV’s, pulling out sub machine guns. I panicked, hitting the gas pedal of my Porsche, tires screeching as the car darted across the street, at the same time that metallic impacts pierced the car shell. I felt the warmth of a bullet flying millimeters in front of my nose, only to shatter the windshield, sending a rain of debris over my face.

Feeling the reaper poking my arm with his scythe, I covered my head with my arms, letting the car go wherever it wanted to go. A bullet must have hit one of its tires, because the Porsche darted to the site, running over the sidewalk and carrying a lamppost with it, branches and chunks of concrete flew through the windows, my head swirled as the car rolled over and over, landing on its back with a loud splash.

Barely conscious, I watched as water cascaded inside what remained of my car, my arm throbbed painfully, and all the rest was bent and crooked in shapes I tried not to see.

Fighting against the pain, I tried to free myself from the seat-belt unsuccessfully.

The water already reached my neck, and chewing the insides of my mouth to stand the pain, I immersed myself in the water. I opened my eyes and stared at the bubbling clear water, groping for the lock clip.

I pressed it, and my body floated. Oddly enough, another thing floated by my side – The Lake Mist bottle. Anyone under these circumstances would worry about anything but the bottle.

But my plans were destroyed, my money was drenched and gone, and bullets chased me in the wind.

“Fuck it” I said, grabbing the bottle and crawling out of my sinking car.

As I swam away from the carcass, I noticed that my car had landed right in the middle of Bellagio’s fountain, the spurts of dancing water gushed down over me. A large crowd was already building up on the balconies facing the fountain pool, and I was sure that the men who tried to kill me were among them.

“Well, that’s it.” I muttered to myself, staring down at my only companion; the Lake Mist bottle.

In such romantic moments, under the historical water show of Bellagio, I consumed half of that potion, playing with my tongue inside my mouth, trying to discern the taste.

At first it was tasteless, slowly giving the back of my tongue a bittersweet touch. It was sleep flavored. Whatever that is.

The fountains, the bullets, and all that water disappeared, as my body collapsed in a deep coma.

“I can see you when you hide…”

A voice muttered in the darkness.

“Death, if that’s you, I demand you to point me to the nearest light at the end of the tunnel.” I said, moving my arms in the darkness, and feeling something heavy pushing me down onto a couch.

“Hey where-“ I muttered.

“Welcome to my paradise, Alpert.”

Lights instantly filled the place, revealing not a room or chamber, but an entire complex of structures, natural and artificial ones. My jaw dropped at the sight, amazed that such a beauty could exist.

A nearly circular pond sparkled with bluish clear water in the center of the cathedral-like building, it merged itself with rock formations encrusted with crystals. It was huge, it was fantastic.

The dome was open to the skies, and they gleamed with a thousand stars and distant worlds.

I found myself resting in a circular couch located in front of one of the many balconies that surrounded the pond. Those balconies reminded me of Bellagio’s patio, and the mess that had happened a few moments ago.

The walls were adorned with richly ornate banners, which hung high and low, in different shades of blue, purple and red, depicting half-moons and constellations. Tall marble columns supported an arched ceiling that looked so distant from the ground as the own sky.

I felt small, an ant.

Silver chandeliers hung between each archway of the palace-looking place, but their light was almost unnecessary, considering the innate glow that lingered around the structures. A soft, dreamy glow that smoothened the surfaces.

I stared in silence at the princess in front of me. I knew nothing about her or that place, but her presence imposed respect.

“I’m not in hell yet, am I?” I asked, biting the tip of my tongue unsurely.

“Far from it! You have received quite a rare blessing, my dear.” She said, walking back to me with a smile on her face. Her horn glowed dimly, but the only thing I could relate to was a light saber, and for a second the thought she’d behead me crossed my mind.

But I guess the force was with me, because she merely levitated the half full bottle of Lake Mist from my hands.

“Do you mind?” She asked.

“Enjoy.” I replied, still shocked at the series of events

“Thank you, kind Alpert. My name is Luna, and you don’t know me. I’m an alicorn from Equestria”

“I see…”

“Although I know you from your dreams.” Luna replied, drinking the Lake Mist as if it was water, and then letting out a sigh of relief. “Two thousand years… I expected for this.”

“For me?” I tilted my head to the side.

“No silly human! For this drink.” She chuckled, stopping in midway and checking me from head to toe. “But you’re quite a bonus!”

It took a little while for me to notice her mischievous smile.

Other important facts I had forgotten were my wounds; those irreparable ones on my arms and legs. I groped my body, pushing here and there to find any sources of pain, but nothing. I hadn’t a single scratch.

“I know what you’re looking for. You won’t find any harm here, this is not a realm of pain.” Luna seemed to read my thoughts.

“And what is it, after all?” I asked, perplexed.

“In moments of agony, try the Lake Mist.” She approached even further; I could feel her breath caressing my face. “I believe something terrible has happened to you.”

I just nodded.

“This is a realm of pleasure and bliss. I am here to bring both.”

Hypnotized by her words, I hugged her tightly; Luna wrapped her hooves around my back, whispering in my ear. “I came to fix your mistakes.”
In a second, Luna climbed onto my lap planting a full kiss on my mouth.

I couldn’t protest, she was marvelous, her touch was divine, regardless of looking like one of my kind or not. I touched her neck, pulled the alicorn closer, feeling the touch of her cold lips warming up against mine.

That was the most unpredictable day of my life, and I couldn’t be happier.

Luna pushed her tongue against mine, tilting her head delicately to the side, as she explored the insides of my mouth, brushing against my cheeks, I couldn’t help but feel a taste very similar to the Lake Mist drink, but stronger, and even more entrancing.

Her starry mane was ethereally floating aside, as if carried by the wind. I tried to touch it, surprised at the indescribable feeling of her hair. It felt as if I caressed a thick cloudy surface, intermingled with strings of very thin hair.

We parted softly, still close enough to feel her puffs of air.

Luna’s skin sparkled fantastically under the moonlight, the princess faced me with a smile on her face as she bit her lower lip, raising a hoof to cover her blushing face. “Like what you see?” She asked, swinging her tail teasingly, back and forth between my knees, the cold touch sending shivers down my spine.

I snickered, resting my back on the comfortable leather couch, basking in the view of the full moon that revealed herself to me.

“That’s unbelievable. That’s too fast to be real.” I said, laughing.

“When time is short, the world requires us to be fast.” She responded.

The dream-like world around me seemed to be sculpted in crystal, light escaped through the veins, as if translucent rocks were lit from behind. There were ponds and small grooves, not a cloud dared to cross the sky.

Under the stars, Luna resided in an artificial heaven.

“I love it.” I replied with a chuckle. A pressure inside me was pushing something hard against my pants. And I knew exactly what… “I should buy myself a telescope.” I joked, as the princess of night sat elegantly in front of me.

“It seems you already have one…” She teased me, flapping her wings shortly, and floating to the floor.

Her shadows reflected on the polished carrara marble of the crystal castle balcony, a contrasting black and white, slightly coated under moonlight. Luna looked like an expensive race horse, pleading to be tamed and mounted.

The princess stopped her special show, standing in front of me, facing my eager eyes with an undecipherable expression that could mean anything. Her eyes narrowed as she observed my blushed face. The alicorn’s eyelashes were like a thunder cloud floating over deep oceans of mystery.

“I’m not nearly as special as you, princess.” I said. “I don’t think I deserve half of your magnificent glory,” I stated, crossing one of my legs to hide my untamed boner. No matter how tall alicorns were, they were still oddly cute and huggable to humans.

It couldn’t be clearer that Luna was trying her best to catch my attention, and so far, she had successfully managed to achieve her purpose.

“I don’t know what did you do to that ancient lake, and what went in my magic vodka, but you better find an antidote, because I won’t last very long seeing you doing all this prancing and flank-show in front of me.” I stated. “Why Princess, of all the humans you could find, many of them smarter and more capable than me. Why chose the outlaw in Vegas?” I asked, remembering the last moments of my night on Earth.

All those bullet holes and glass shards, the casino fountain, my last chance.

“I’m an avid mind reader, dear.” She replied, laying her chest against mine, untying her steely regalia as she curled herself on the couch. Luna looked even cuter when she was just herself, without the whole princess shit. “When you accepted the drink from your friend, you accepted me. It could be anyone, but it was you darling.”

“What are you talking about?” I cocked an eyebrow, raising the now empty bottle Lake Mist, and tossing it aside.

“This is not a hallucination, Alpert. Although I’m almost sure you’ll think of it as a dream when you wake up.” She stated, brushing her hoof against the bulge in my pants, my conscious side trying to back away awkwardly, but my hormone dominated self finally giving up, pretending to find no escape.

“That beverage was taken thousands of years ago from the moon lake.” She said, a long lost memory seemed to flash before her eyes. “That was a magical place, and very few of those bottles remain. The lake was the place where I was born.”

“Really? So I sort of ingested particles of amniotic fluid from your mother?” I chuckled sarcastically. Luna rolled her eyes.

“Don’t be silly, the magic was in the water, it makes people delve into the realm of dreams, in which I reign.”

“I am a free human, Luna; no princess has authority over me.” I said, poking her cute little nose mindlessly.

“Maybe, but during the short time you stay in my realm, you’re under my power.” She grew a mischievous smile. “And I like to play with my exotic visitors, in special the humans, such rare presences here.”

“You’re insane Luna.”

“Insane for opportunities. Living forever is incredibly boring, bonding and mating with new creatures is a hobby I developed with time.” She stated bluntly, wrapping a wing around my neck, sending alarming shivers down my spine.

“I’ll kill Dmitri…” I muttered.

“Not before pleasing your temporary princess. You’re in an immersive dream, dear, a rare opportunity. Enjoy what I’m willing to give you.”

With an unexpected clink, Luna unbuttoned my belt. I gasped at her enthusiasm, but did not protest. If such a realistic reality was a dream, a bad move could turn it into a nightmare. Better have my cock sucked by a magic alicorn, than have my guts opened and spread around the floor.

“Okay, okay- just wait a fucking second”

Luna stopped, both hooves positioned on each side of my legs, her muzzle a few inches away from unbuttoning my zipper.

“Why are you so eager for that? Damn, are you a nymphomaniac?” I asked, my heart flaming in anticipation. It’s not every day a sexy equine sucks your cock.

“Dear, I spent a thousand years locked in a dead satellite. Any sort of exotic enjoyment is a pleasure for me.” She looked up at me in a heart-melting way.

Even though I wondered where my real body would be disposed in the real world, in a damp alley behind a bar probably, my misty mind decided to accept whatever Luna had to offer.

Hell, it was casual sex with an alicorn from another dimension, nothing to worry about.

Right?

I firmly clutched the sides of the couch with my arm, biting my lips as I looked down at Luna, who had managed to unbutton my pants, and was now playfully nuzzling and licking my throbbing cock.

Her skin had a mindboggling texture that whirled my mind every time she touched me.

I grunted, letting out a strong sigh.

Luna swirled her tongue around the tip of my cock, feeling the sensitive contours of its head. Her lips gave wet kisses on the edges, slowly inserting the tip into her little mouth, pressing her tongue against it.

“Oh my fucking-” I muttered, not taking my eyes of the scene. Luna chuckled softly, seeing pleasure emanating from my soul.

I caressed her cheeks as she delicately tasted my cock, my hands trailed down her neck, reaching for a spot between her wings, Luna trembled as I lightly applied pressure to that muscular spot, playing with the base of her longer feathers.

“It seems you know how to please a mare…” She said, letting my cock slip out of her mouth, coating her chin with saliva.

“I have my intuitions.” I replied, pressing firmly, now with both hands on each joint of her wings. The princess quivered, lowering her head again on my shaft and letting out a throaty moan.

Luna spread herself on the large couch, lying on her stomach with her flanks only slightly pointing up. Her chest rested between my legs, as she used her hooves to hold my hips in place.

My throat let out incomprehensible grunts, muffled by the sound of her wet sucking. She gripped my cock firmly, plunging my throbbing member into her mouth. She moaned deeply, sending pleasurable vibrations through my belly. Hungrily, Luna slurped and slobbered around over my penis, making a mess on the couch.

“F-fuck” I stuttered.

She bobbed her head up and down very audibly. The loud wet noises of the blowjob she was giving me made the experience even more arousing.

I gritted my teeth, trying very hard not to spill everything on that very moment.

Before I could say a word, the Princess pulled out, letting the cold air brush against my exposed cock, a trail of saliva and precum rolling down the whole thing.

“Not now…” She said with a sultry voice.

I understood her point immediately when Luna turned around, presenting her drenched slit, a pinkish clit winking at me.

“Inside.” Luna said, brushing her swollen lips against my length.

“A-as you wish, Princess.”

I sat there, holding my cock with eagerness, as she lowered her pussy around it. Luna leaned back against me, gasping as my cock started to poke her clenching insides.

Wrapping my arms around her chest and front hooves for balance, I made the princess sit practically upright as she started to move up and down, being stuffed even more when I pressed my hips against her flanks.

“Unnnf” She moaned. “Oh C-celestia!” She whined, panting hard as I squeezed her delightful pony body, her sweaty, slippery fur rubbing against my arms and legs.

Using her stiff wings as support, I maneuvered over the couch, turning the pony around so she would lay on her stomach as I filled her needy pussy.

Luna screamed in delight, biting the tip of her hoof and letting out frantic puffs of air. A wet slap followed each thrust, and a mix of fluids leaked down her hind-legs, drenching my crotch, and the couch.

I moved one of my hands to the heat source between her thighs, rubbing her clit in circular motions as I penetrated her.

That elicited a very loud scream of pleasure, and strong contractions shook her inner walls, I shuddered as Luna’s marehood started to squirm as if milking my penis.

I couldn’t hold myself back, so I pushed my member as far as I could, burying it inside of her climaxing body.

I collapsed on top of her as jolts of lustful electricity took over my body, the pressure inside me being released as a long and powerful orgasm. Spurts of semen flooded Luna’s pussy, as her own body squirted around me.

All the breath that we hold back was released in a loud and mutually comprehensible –

“FUCK”

Luna still squirmed around as I fell by her side exhausted, bringing with me a messy pool of our fluids.

When she finally looked back at me, all she did was stare at my cum-covered lap and chest.

“O-oh my… I made a mess on you, didn’t I?” She chuckled.

“You made my life complete.” I said, not believing in my luck.

With a nod of her horn, the mess disappeared, leaving nothing but a few traces here and there that could easily be ignored.

I rolled around to wrap her with my arms and do some cute spooning. Luna nuzzled my hand, resting her head against it.

After a few minutes in silence, a thought popped up in my head, and I couldn’t help but share it.

“You know what’s funny?” I whispered, still holding her pony body in my arms, feeling that fluffy chest.

“Hmm?” She muttered, her eyes closed, and a soft smile of satisfaction on her lips.

“You gave me a wonderful night…” I said. “I’ll fall asleep together with you, in this beautiful world.” I added, caressing her relaxed wings.
“But even if I never wake up at home, I’ll still be happy for staying my last few moments with you.”
