Darkness falls over Equestria when a powerful Pokemon Darkrai turns Luna into Nightmare Moon. Without the nights end, Timberwolves and bat Pokemon run ramped through Equestria and the only ones awake to stop them are Twilight and her Quilava.
It all started in Luna's chamber one night. Luna had just raised the moon when her Umbreon started to growl at a dark corner of the room,"Umbreon, Thow hast nothing to fear," Luna says to convert Umbreon, "Nothing is there."
"Only shadows of darkness," A voice says from the darkness causing both Luna and Umbreon to jump.
"Who goes there?" Luna demands, "Why do you invade my chamber?"
"You don't know what I am," The voice says as a black ghost-like creature with white hair floats out of the corner, "And you call yourself Princess of the night," It says. Umbreon continues to growl at the creature, "Silence you mutt!" The creature yells creating a ball of dark purple energy in its hand and lobs it at Umbreon. The ball hit Umbreon causing the ball to expand completely engulfing Umbreon and then it shrank absorbing itself into Umbreon and disappearing. Umbreon's eyes then closed and he collapsed onto the ground shaking.
"What did you do to him!" Luna yells at the creature as her horn starts to glow.
"I just put him asleep and he's having a nightmare," The creature responds.
"What are you?" Luna asks it.
"I am Darkrai," It says, "And I am a living nightmare!" Darkrai yells using a ball of energy to put her asleep, but when it was absorbed into her something different happened. She was transformed into Nightmare Moon and was still awake.
"You've freed me," Nightmare Moon says, "Why did you free me?"
"The night is too short and underestimated," Darkrai says, "Ponies and Pokemon alike should know the true power of the night."
"Then we will plunge Equestria into darkness," Nightmare Moon says, "But we first must get rid of the elements, my sister, and their Pokemon so nothing can stop us."
"Leave the elements and their Pokemon to me," Darkrai tells her before vanishing into thin air.
"Before I take care of my foolish sister. I have something planned for you," Nightmare Moon says to Umbreon.

I let out a yawn as I wake up. I look out a window and see that it's still night out. I then look at a clock and find out its the middle of the afternoon. I then realize something is wrong and I go to wake up Twilight, but when I enter her room, I see a black ghost-like figure with white hair hovering above Twilight, "The last element," it says, "After I finish with you, I will then need to deal with your little Pokemon and then nothing will stop us." It adds on while creating a dark purple ball of energy in its hand and throws it at her and it was absorbed into her and nothing appeared to happen.
"What did you do to her!" I yell and the ghost then faces me a laughs
"Thanks for making it easy to find you," He says creating a ball of energy and throwing it at me. I use protect, to block it and then use flamethrower. The ghost vanishes and reappears behind me. I then attack him using the flames on my back damaging him. I then use smokescreen to hide, "You aren't making it easy for me!" The ghost then yells blinded from the smoke as I get behind him and strike with a fire blast.
"Leave now!" I yell as the smoke cleared, "I won't let you win."
"But I've already won," The ghost says before disappearing. I run up to Twilight who appears to e having a nightmare. I try to wake her, but it seems to be impossible to wake her. I then remember Twilight always knows when something is out of place, so I predict if I were to something to mess up anything she has organized she'll wake up. I then run to the library to where all of her books are. They're perfectly organized and in near mint condition. I know to wake her I'll need to do more than knock down a book. I take several steps back, cause my back to ignite, and destroy the library in a fiery inferno. I then hear the sound of the door to the library open and see Twilight in a state of complete rage. Her eyes were as head as fire, her coat and wings were whiter than snow, and her mane was made of fire. She looked just like a Rapidash but with wings.
"QUILAVA!!!"Twilight yells full of anger
"We can talk about this later," I say to her while becoming nervous, "We have something else to deal with first."
"THERE WERE BOOKS IN THERE THAT WERE ONE OF A KIND AND BOOKS CONTAINING INFORMATION ON DRAGON CULTURE WITCH EQUESTRIA HAS BEEN LACKING FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS!!!" Twilight yells, "AND YOU THINK IT'S NOT IMPORTANT!!!"
"Look outside," I tell her, "It's still dark out."
"CELESTIA'S PROBABLY SLEEPING IN!!!" She responds, "DO YOU REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED THE LAST TIME SOMEONE DESTROYED MY LIBARY!!!"
"IT'S THREE IN THE AFTERNOON!!!" I yell, "Something is defiantly wrong and needs to be fixed."
Twilight then realizes that this is far worse than the destruction of her library, "How come I didn't find out about this sooner?" She wonders as she calms down and returns to normal.
"when I came to tell you this ghost thing put you in some nightmare coma," I explain to her, "I couldn't wake you up."
"But, How did you wake me up then?" She asks me
"You're somewhat a perfectionist," I tell her, "So much of one when even the smallest thing is moved out of place you go crazy. I thought if I completely mess up your organization you would snap out of it, and it worked."
"But did you really have to destroy all my books?" She asks, "Isn't that overdoing it."
"This is just like the reality where my friends and I never stopped Nightmare Moon," Twilight says as we wander the dark empty streets of Ponyvile.
"Is there anything to worry about?" I ask, "What was different in that reality?"
"There were Timber Wolves everywhere and Nightmare Moon ruled Equestria," Twilight explains, "Are there any nocturnal Pokemon we should watch out for?"
"Nothing that's a threat, but there's one that's just plain annoying," I tell her, "And that one Pokemon is the reason I hate caves."
"So, you're afraid of bats," Twilight says
"These aren't normal bats, Twilight," I tell her, "I'm not afraid of them." I then hear the sound of a bat's screech. I stop and ignite my back so I could see the bat, but instead I saw hundreds of blue bats that had no feet, no eyes, and their mouth covered up most of their body lining the roofs of every building. They all suddenly fly off the buildings and start swarming around us. They all released one unified high pitched screech causing every single window in pony vile shatter and caused me to go temporarily deaf, and caused me to become confused. My head was filled with pain and my vision was blurred. I use lava plume to get rid of the bats before my hearing was restored and I was no longer confused.
"What were those things?" Twilight asks me, "How did that noise not wake anypony up?"
"Those were Zubats, and I that's why I hate caves," I say then noticing a large bat hanging from the roof of town hall watching us. This bat was much bigger than the Zubats, it was about the size of Celestia if not bigger. It then swooped down from the building and landed in front of us. The bat was a Noivern, a powerful dragon type Pokemon. Noivern's ears then started to vibrate and started to produce a low humming noise.
"What's it doing?" Twilight asks
"Cover your ears!" I yell covering my ears. Noivern's ears then released a massive blast of sound so great it obliterated all the buildings around us. I could feel everything in my body vibrating from the sound wave as the ground shook. I uncover my ears once the sound stopped and waited for Twilight to tell me what to do, but she didn't say anything, "Twilight!" I yell to get her attention, but she doesn't hear me. She had become deaf from the sound. Noivern's ears started to hum again as he prepared for another attack, but then it stopped and Noivern became scared of something and flew away. I turn around and see a pack of Timberwolves behind me and Twilight, "Twilight, behind you!" I shout to her.
"What!" She yells unable to hear me. I knew that Timberwolves don't like the sun. Concentrating my energy I use sunny day, and the sun rises making the timberwolves flee, but the sun goes behind the moon causing a solar eclipse and it became dark again.
"I thought only Celestia could raise the sun," A black alicorn looking like Luna says walking out of the shadows,"I've underestimated you."
"Who are you?" I ask, "You look like Princess Luna."
"I am Nightmare Moon," She says, "You are the only thing standing in my way of an eternal night."
"The Night will always come to an end," I tell her, "Twilight and I will stop you."
"How there three of us and two of you," Nightmare Moon says as Umbreon comes out of the shadows and the ghost reappears, "Umbreon, Darkrai take care of them."
"Twilight, evolve me!" I shout, but Darkrai had already used dark void to put her asleep.
"You have no allies," Nightmare moon says, "Just give up now."
"I won't give up!" I yell, "Come at me!"
"Darkrai, dark void," Nightmare Moon orders. Darkrai unleashes his attack, but before it hit a protective field surrounded me causing the attack to do nothing.
"Darkrai!" I hear a voice cry out as a blue and yellow Pokemon appeared in front of me, "I've told you before not to do this."
"Who are you?" I ask
"I am Cresselia," The Pokemon says, "I'm the lunar Pokemon and I'm here to help you."
Cresselia and Darkrai begin to fight each other as Umbreon tries to blast me. I use my speed to avoid his attacks, but he's my friend and I don't want to hurt him, "How hard can it be to hit one rodent," Nightmare moon says firing multiple beams of magic at me. I then create multiple sharp, star-shaped projectiles around me and use a swift attack. The stars crashed head on into the attack destroying the beams of magic as others flew at nightmare Moon. She flies above the attack, but the stars were like guided missiles and followed her until they landed. Umbreon then rushes up to me and uses bite. I use gusts of superheated air from the spots on my back to get him off.
"Umbreon you need to stop this!" I yell, "We need to stop Nightmare Moon and save Luna!" Umbreon doesn't respond and continues attacking, but using protect I defend myself. I then notice that he was sleepwalking, "Umbreon wake up!" I cry, "Don't make me hurt you."
"Fool, he is under my control and the only way you can do that is by burning him," Nightmare Moon says, "You run the risk of disintegrating your friend," I then knew I had to try something new. I run away from Umbreon to increase the distance between us. I then use the distance to gain speed for an attack. I focus my energy to create a field of electricity around me creating a wild charge attack. As I was getting hurt from my own electric field I head butt Umbreon shocking him. I shake my head in pain from the head butt as Umbreon gets back up.
"What happened?" He groans as he wakes up. Then both of our bodies start to glow blue as we were raised into the air by Nightmare Moon, "We need to save Luna. The only way we can is if we cut off her power to go into dreams by breaking her horn!"
"How? You're immobilized," Nightmare Moon says, "The night will last forever!"
"Then we have a flashlight," I tell her as she uses her magic to start suffocating us, "And... a light in the dark... can blind... and I'm running out of things to say... Umbreon use flash!" The ring on Umbreon's head then lights up like a massive spotlight blinding her. We were then dropped to the ground and able to breathe again.
"Quilava," Umbreon says panting, " Remember that combo we did when we were in the lab when we were younger?"
"The flaming baseball, but you hate using it because your tail always got lit on fire," I remind him
"But It was our most powerful attack," Umbreon explains as his tail turned a bright chrome color and became harder than steel. I use flame wheel and charge towards Umbreon as he swings his tail at me. The result was me getting launched at Nightmare Moon like a baseball from Umbreon's iron tail. I strike Nightmare Moons horn with great force causing it to shatter. A blinding light was created as the moon set and the sun shined again. Nightmare Moon was then reverted back into Luna. Umbreon then runs to her. Cresselia then uses moon blast and defeats Darkrai. A day later Twilight tells me that Princess Celestia needed t have a word with me as soon as possible. I don't know what she wants, but I have a feeling that this won't end well.
