Sunset panted for breath. The sound of barking trailed off and she relaxed. She calmed herself and laughed. She was feeding some animals with Fluttershy and she got separated when the dogs chased her.

Sunset looked down and placed her foot lower on the tree, but when she felt nothing was there she climbed back up.

"Uh oh." Sunset looked around. "Help!"

Sunset looked around for twenty seconds and Fluttershy showed up.

"Sunset, are you okay?"

"I'm stuck. Can you help me down?" Sunset asked.

"My beaver friends can help make a ladder." Fluttershy talked a bit and a few beaver friends started building. It would only take a second, but a sharp talon said otherwise.

Suddenly, a flock of predator birds came and tried to attack. The beavers disappeared and Sunset was almost attacked too.

Fluttershy grabbed her animal friends and went to hide.

"Sunset, I'm so sorry. My friends can't help you and they need me. I'll come back for you later." She ran off.

Sunset understood the situation, but she was still stuck. She had no choice. She waited there for someone else.

3 minutes later

Sunset looked at a nearby tree and wondered if something could help her climb down, but a sudden rock to her shoulder said otherwise.

"Ow. Where did that come from?"

"Move your fiery little head!" A voice from nowhere shouted angrily.

"Who said that?"

"The person who is gonna beat you senseless if you don't move!" Another rock came and hit her in the stomach.

Sunset looked down and saw Aria Blaze tossing rocks at her.

"Aria, what are you doing?"

"Getting hungry! Now get out of the way!" Aria shouted.

"It's not like I have anywhere to go." Sunset rubbed her stomach. "What are you shooting rocks for anyway?"

"Turn around." Aria said.

Sunset turned around and found a big apple behind her. It looked delicious.

"Now hand it over!" Aria shouted.

"Wait, I need your help to get down." Sunset said, but found another rock only slightly missing her cranium.

"I didn't walk over here to make the world a better place. I just want some food." Aria chucked another rock, but this time it was aimed at Sunset purposefully.

"You'll have to forgive Aria. She's a hangry girl." Adagio said.

Sunset groaned. If there were three people she didn't want to see right now, The Dazzlings would be three ranks higher than number one. However, she did need to get down. She put on a straight face.

"Dagi, Aria must be hungry every second she lives. Oh hi, Sunset Shimmer!" Sonata ran to the others and spoke.

"Shut up, dingus!" Aria growled and threw another rock. It hit the tree and almost made Sunset fall. Aria was getting stronger every second. "Release that apple, tomato head!"

"Tomato head?" Sunset plucked off a hair and looked at the red color and found a blue hand on her shoulder.

"Is this what you're after, Aria?" Sonata asked.

"Yeah!" Aria was looking vicious.

"Looks tasty." Sonata looked at it.

"Sonata Dusk, don't eat that apple!" Adagio said.

"Why?"

"Because Aria will really kill us all if you do!" Adagio shouted.

"Oh. Ok." Sonata began to climb down with the apple. Sunset grabbed Sonata's hand.

"Wait, help me get down." Sunset said.

"Sonata, if you come down now we'll go to that one restaurant with the buffet." Adagio said.

Before Sunset could say another word, Sonata was on the ground and hugging Adagio.

The trio walked off with Aria going insane with her apple and Sonata hugging Adagio, who let out an evil glare at Sunset.

Sunset almost wanted to fall on Adagio to cushion her fall as revenge, but all the spikes could probably leave her with a lot of pain.

She heard Sonata singing "What's Sunset Shimmer doing in a tree. N-O-T-H-I-N-G." She thought it sounded fun.

She waited...

2 minutes later

Sunset started looking in the distance. She wasn't sure who would help her, but she a beach ball headed her way.

"Can you toss that back?" Scootaloo asked.

Sunset looked down to see three little girls standing under the tree.

"Sure. Can you help me get down?" She tossed the ball down.

"How?" Applebloom asked.

To be honest, Sunset hadn't thought about that. She then said to get a ladder.

The girls looked over and saw the park management had locked up the tools.

"Now what?" Scootaloo asked.

"Oh, Rarity keeps a ladder for when she needs someone to clean her gutters." Sweetie Belle said.

"But she broke it last week remember." Applebloom said.

Sweetie suddenly remembered Rarity lobbing her text books on the ladder and hearing a shattering sound. They all believed it was old and had been used to it's extent.

"We have one at Sweet Apple Acres."

"That piece of wood broke last week, when Applejack's dog was sitting on it." Scootaloo said.

"Any other ideas?" Sweetie Belle asked.

The pair decided to try and make a later.

They grabbed what ever was near and made a pile for Sunset. She got on her legs and jumped down and landed safely. They all hugged and she walked away.

Nope.

The trio didn't have any real skill without the proper tools and they really only had some grass and free blankets. In the end, they all said they would go and get Applejack.

Sunset appreciated the help and waited again.

7 minutes later

Applejack was tied to the tree with Rainbow Dash, who looked unamused.

Long story short, Applejack tried to safely lasso Sunset free, but the wind came and royally screwed up her attempts. It resulted in Rainbow Dash, who was watching the hole time, and her being tied up and trapped.

Applejack hanged her head in shame and giggled. Sunset giggled too. Rainbow wanted to keep a straight face, but started laughing too.

The next person to walk by was Vinyl Scratch. She was walking with her signature headphones making her life a music video. The pair called her for help, but their voices were no match for the headphones.

"Too bad, I would have loved to hear her laugh." Pinkie Pie suddenly appeared.

"Pinkie?!" The trio shouted with confusion.

"That's me." She smiled.

"Quick, we need a favor from you!" Rainbow said.

"Chocolate or vanilla?" Pinkie said.

"Favor not flavor." Sunset said from her tree branch.

The group told her to get Vinyl Scratch for her help in getting Sunset down.

"I'm on it!" Pinkie Pie raced away to go get Vinyl, but before she knew it, Vinyl had disappeared off the face of he planet. She looked around and tried to find her, but went out of earshot and out of sight.

The trio waited for 8 minutes and nothing happened. Pinkie Pie had either lost Vinyl or possibly forgot about the situation.

"Man, I've got to go to the bathroom and this is taking all day." Sunset could feel herself in pain.

Rainbow Dash had been trying to gnaw off the rope for a good 6 minutes. She wasn't an ostrich so she didn't have the neck for it. The rope was too strong for biting though anyway. It would take 45 minutes to get through it all and Sunset would still be stuck.

When Applejack asked why they hadn't just asked Pinkie to cut the rope and climb up the tree to get Sunset, Rainbow screamed out of frustration.

Suddenly the ropes came to life and slithered off the pair. A purple aura had released them. Princess Twilight and her Crystal Prep counterpart had arrived with Fluttershy.

Princess Twilight had been practicing magic in her spare time for the human world and could use her psycokinetic abilities to untie Applejack and Rainbow. Sunset, however, was out of reach.

"What are you doing up there?" Twilight asked.

"It's a long story." Sunset said with her head in her hands. "Can you please get me down?"

"Without some acts of friendship, we can't fly up and save her." Twilight said.

"Shouldn't the fire department have been here by now?!" Rainbow Dash was covered in sweat from her time being roped up.

"I'm not sure, but hat tree branch seems like it can't hold more than 40 pou-" Crystal Prep Twilight said, but a hand over her mouth stopped her.

"Don't say that you'll jinx her." Applejack said. This type of gag was normal in their world.

"You're gonna have to jump, Sunset!" Rainbow called out to her.

Sunset was cramping from holding her bladder for so long. She got on her feet and was about to dive from over 20 feet. Her friends tried their best to make a soft pile for her to land on. She jumped down and aimed for the pile.

With no impact, Sunset feared she was still falling, but when she opened her eyes, she found Twilight was holding her with magic, she let her down safely.

"Thank you all so much, but if you'll excuse me I need to go. Bye!" Sunset ran off to use the restroom and freshen herself up at her home.

Sunset wasn't sure what she could have done differently, but she got her phone from where she left it, out of reach, and went to get some food after she got home to shower.

Note to self: I need learn to fly!
