Spyro woke up in a field of white flowers surrounded by trees and sunlight. Somehow, though, the place looked… menacing. Already facing the major problem of not knowing where he was, he also had no memory of coming to this place in any way. He fell asleep in the Dragon Temple and woke up in this field.

“Where…?” he said before wincing in pain. Looking left and right he saw shattered red crystals, which he absorbed to heal his wounded side. It didn’t do much to help.
“Sparx! Where are you!?” he didn’t get a response. He knew he shouldn’t be moving, but he needed information about where he was. Besides, he had to find out if anyone else From the Dragon Temple was with him. What he found… was the weirdest creature he ever saw. He couldn’t focus through the pain, and this wool-less flying sheep with hair for a tail and a single horn looked scared by him. But he had to take this chance.
“Help…” he panted. That was the last thing he remembered before blacking out.

Twilight had never seen a Quadrupedal dragon, let alone one that had been hurt as bad as this one. She would’ve let him be… if not for that one word she heard him say. “Help…” what could she do beside help? She used her healing magic to heal the large gash in the Dragon’s side. Then using levitation magic she brought the dragon to the Castle of Friendship. The thing was heavy, as heavy as all the books in the library. When she finally got to the castle, she was glad to see that the girls and Spike weren’t there.

“Okay, buddy,” she said to the unconscious dragon, “Let’s get you to a place for recovery.” She was starting to struggle with concentrating on the spell. Finally, about halfway between the door and her room, she collapsed. When she woke up the dragon was nowhere to be seen, and she was in her bed. Next to the bed was Spike.

“Thank Celestia, you’re alright!” he sighed in relief.

“Where’s the Dragon that I brought back?” Twilight asked.

“Spyro? He’s in the main hall trying to convince Rainbow Dash and Applejack that he didn’t kill you.” Only realizing what he just said after he said it, he ran out of the room and down the stairs. Twilight tried to get up and follow, but she was still drained from carrying the Dragon to the Castle. So she went to sleep.

“No! No! I swear I didn‘t kill her!” Spyro said. “I don’t even know her, or you! I don’t have enough reason to kill anyone right now!”

“Then what happened to her!?” the rainbow haired creature asked.

“All I know is that she helped me! When I woke up I was here, she was unconscious and I took her to the nearest resting place!”

“A Likely story,” The blonde one said. “But why would Twilight, a pony, help a dragon? They’re jerks by nature!”

“She’s Okay!” the bipedal purple dragon that Spyro met earlier said as he came downstairs. “She just went back to sleep, she told me everything she did for Spyro!” that seemed to seal it. They looked shocked at him and the other dragon. Eventually they accepted the idea that a “Pony” and a dragon got along enough to help eachother, though it still seemed farfetched to them.

The Dragonfly and Fluttershy

Sparx was disoriented. He woke up near a pond next to a small town. Last he remembered he was back at the temple ready to take a nap. He had no idea how he ended up here. He was contemplating possibilities (However few there were) when he heard someone go “Wheeeeeeee!” And splash into the lake. Being a dragonfly, he wasn’t the most lively creature in water or even when wet, so he flew as fast as possible to get just out of range of the splash zone. The pink head he saw pop out of the water was one that he’d never seen before.

“Pinkie!” Another creature shouted. It jumped into the air and flew over with feathered wings that the other creature didn’t have. “I’m sorry about my friend, are you okay little guy?”

“I’m seventeen, you don’t have to talk down to me.” Sparx said smartly. The creature with long pink hair and a yellow fur coat looked hurt.

“Wait a minute…” Sparx heard another voice. This one sounded all too familiar.

“Cinder? You’re here too!?”

“Sparx! For once I’m glad to see you! You okay?”

“Other than the fact that I have no idea how we got here?… I’m good.”

“That’s good,” the black dragon turned to the pink haired… thing. “It’s okay Fluttershy, Sparx here’s a bit of a big mouth smart-alec. He doesn’t mean everything as harshly as he says it.” Sparx would’ve been a little hurt if it weren’t for that last part. Fluttershy sniffled and seemed to get over it.

“Hey, Cinder, how did you end up here?”

“Don’t know. One minute I’m going to sleep at the temple, the next I’m in a tree somewhere I don’t recognize.”

“Maybe our friend Twilight can help you!” Pinkie Pie said. Fluttershy just nodded, she was still a little sour about the snarky attitude Sparx displayed. Pinkie had to keep reminding her to take it with a grain of salt. Over time, she was able to get over it, but that’s for later.

“Where can we find your friend?” Cinder asked.

“There’s a castle on the hill in Ponyville,” Fluttershy said. “We’ll take you there.”

“Fire!” Pinkie yelled. “There’s a fire in the town!”

Sure enough there was smoke rising from the town.

“Spyro!” Cinder whispered. “Sparx, we gotta help!”

“When and how have I ever helped in situations like this!?” Sparx admitted after years of denial. “Not something I ever thought I’d hear myself say.” Suddenly he knew something was wrong with himself and possibly even his brother… he had to find Spyro! They were halfway to the town when the smoke cleared. They reached the town to hear Spyro being scolded.

“What were you thinking, Spyro!?” the purple “pony” yelled. “You could’ve burned down all of Ponyville!”

“Sorry,” Spyro said. “In my defense Rainbow Dash suggested it, but I’ll take her blame.”

“And YOU!” the purple pony turned on a cyan pony with rainbow hair. “Why in the name of Sweet Celestia would you suggest something so dangerous even to a friendly dragon!”

“We wanted you to be warm enough, you looked like you were freezing.” the Rainbow one said.

“Hey! Spyro!” Sparx yelled thinking they’d gotten enough scolding.

“Sparx! Cinder! You’re here too!” they rushed to each other, and got together in a group hug.
