Aside from the journel Sunset Shimmer has to talk with Twilight she has another little diary that one day starts to predict the future and it will determine life and death for her. [ocs because I ran out of character ideas]
Sunset Shimmer is now a regular high school girl at Canterlot High. She has friends, homework, annoyances, and a diary on her cell phone. But one day her diary starts to have its own entries but they show what will happen in the near future. Her life becomes endanger when she and 11 other people in the town are now in a game where it's kill or be killed. Winner becomes God and only one strange boy can help her (based of the anime future diary)
It was another normal day for me I woke this morning had breakfast, got dressed, then ran over to school just like any other day. On the way there I met up with a friend of mine Fluttershy she was the shyest person at school and was a major animal lover. She had long pink hair and yellow skin with a plain white short and a green skirt to finish her outfit for the day.
“Hi Sunset.” She greeted me when I got to her side as we continued to walk to our school together. I had orange skin and red hair with yellow stripes my outfit was a leather jacket unzipped over a small light blue dress with light yellow underneath.
“Hey Fluttershy how's it going.” I asked her as I pulled out my phone and opened a page and started typing.
“I'm doing good how about you?” She asked me when I finished typing my entry
8:03(Tuesday)[neighborhood]
Just met up with Fluttwrshy on my way to school and started a small conversation.
“I'm doing good to” I responded about to put my phone away when she stopped me.
“Why did you pull out your phone just now?” She asked me making me realize I never told any of my friends about it.
“It's my diary I write in entries about me and my friends when something happens I put in the place and time and paraphrase what happened.” I explained making her nod.
“Why didn't you tell us you had a diary?” She asked me curiously which I didn't expect from her.
“It must have slipped my mind.” I responded putting my hand behind my head as we continued to school which we still had quite a bit to go.
On the rest of the way we didn't talk much so I got time to recall the dream I keep on having, I’ve been having it for at least 3 days now.
I find myself in a giant circular room just standing there with a giant creature on a throne staring down at me. Sometimes he will talk other times we will be moving around some big levers and pressing buttons of some kind. Last night before I woke up he just stared down at me and said.
“It's almost time first.” As if first was my name.
I snapped back to reality when someone snapped their fingers in front of my face making find it to be Rarity another friend of mine. She had purple hair, white skin, and always tries to look as pretty as possible with a small skirt and a plain white t-shirt.
“Really now darling staring off into space when first period is about to begin.” She said disappointedly to me as she walked with Fluttershy to class leaving me to head to math by myself.
After 1st and 2nd period it was lunch time and I finally got to hang out with my friends again. After I bought a salad on a juice from the cafeteria I spotted them sitting at a table in the back of the room.
As I approached I noticed Rainbow dash wasn't here which was unusual for her to have a sick day especially since she has a soccer game tomorrow.
“Hey where’s RD?” I questioned as I sat down with my friends.
“She's getting some last minute practice with her team before the game tomorrow.” Answered Applejack. She had orange skin with blond hair under her cowgirl hat that she never takes off.
“I am cake certain she is going to win!” Screamed Pinkie Pie another friend who is the crazy one of the group. She has light pink skin with very poofy dark pink hair and a white shirt under her jean jacket with her light blue skirt.
“I'm sure she is to.” I responded as I took a took a bite out of my salad.
“Oh I nearly forgot did you girls hear about the new boy.” Rarity perked up smiling as she gained our attention.
“I didn't hear anything.” Fluttershy responded just getting a nod from the rest of us.
“Well I personally haven't met him but I heard the latest gossip that he is a good athlete, very smart, and some of the girls here just dream of him.” She explained staring off into space.
“Well now hold your horses, I don't think you should believe everything that you hear from gossip.” AJ said with a frown at Rarity still staring into space.
“Excuse me?” We heard a Avicenna say to the left of the table where a purple skinned boy with green hair stood. He had a dark purple jacket zipped up on with regular jeans with his hands in his pockets. “Do any of you know where Mr. Crankey’s class is?” He asked a little shyly to us snapping Rarity out of her trance.
“I can show you where it is.” I stood up from my seat as the boy gained a smile.
“Thank you, I'm kind of new here.” He explained making Rarity gasp and me just a little surprised but not understanding why girls dream of him.
“No problem it's this way.” I said as we started to walk away out of the cafeteria.
After a few short minutes we arrived at the class he was looking for and turned to me “thank you… Um” he started not knowing my name.
“It's Sunset Shimmer.” I told him hoping he wasn't embarrassed.
“I'm Spike anyway thank you Sunset hope to see you again soon.” He said holding out his hand to shake it and I took it.
The moment I touched his hand I found myself back in the big room with the creature who just smiles at me before I came back to reality.
Then after the last of my classes school ended and we all had to head home I didn’t get to hang out because I had a lot of homework to do. So I did that and then had dinner but noticed how long I took me to do my work so I had to take a quick shower and head to bed for tomorrow. That night I had the dream again.
I was back in the room and the creature was staring down at me but this time I could move and speak.
“What are you” I shouted hoping it heard me.
“I am Deus” it responded before it leaned forward closer to me.
“And today the game begins first.” He continued before leaning back and turning away from me.
“Wait what game!” I shouted before facepalming “why am I worried it's just a dream.” I told myself before I woke up.
I found myself up earlier than normal and couldn't go back to sleep so I just flipped open my phone to check my diary. When I opened it I found something.
“Huh” I said to myself when I found entries already made for the day and shrugged it off.
“Must've been typing in my sleep.” I told myself before reading the two first entries.
6:12am(Wednesday)[home]
checked my alarm clock to find it not plugged in
6:20am(Wednesday)[home]
Checked the news to find that a fourth murder has happened by a serial killer.
“Yeah I doubt that” I though looking at my alarm finding it unplugged “must've hit it in my sleep”
I decided to have breakfast so I went downstairs and turned on the news while pouring cereal.
Now we come with our latest story another victim of the mask killer has been found making a total of four the reporter said shocking me.
I was jaw dropped “this couldn't be happening” I thought as I pulled out my found to read that entry to find it right there. I didn't know what else to do so I read on
7:45(Wednesday)[neighborhood]
I leave for school early and find Applejack and Rainbow talking.
10:31(Wednesday)[science]
Flash sentry shows up late and causes the teacher to spill her coffee
All of these came true as the day progressed there was only one final test to see if it was happening.
12:47[cafeteria]
Rainbow comes back to talk about the game Ending score: 2/7
I was sitting at the table as usual when Rainbow showed up “and that is how you win a game.” She said stoked as she sat down with a smirk.
“That was a good game you did great darling.” Rarity complimenting her as her smile grew big.
“Yeah it was it was 2 to 7 they didn't stand a chance” she exclaimed making me freeze.
That confirms it my diary is showing what will happen but how is this happening the technology wasn't created and why me I was freaking out.
“Sunset you okay?” I heard a voice and turned to see Spike who snapped me back to reality.
“Yeah I'm fine Spike.” I responded jittery as I continued to eat.
When the day ended and I was going to bed I was scared because of the fact my diary was showing the future. When I finally did I was back in the big room more confident than ever.
“The diary is part of the game.” He said before I even asked surprising me.
“It is your future diary it is part of you so In short words of the diary is destroyed you will die.” He said calmly to my face making me worried before realizing how useful it can be to have this.
It was only two days since the diary has been able to help in ways i could never believe, Mr. Crankey had a test and my diary showed me the answers so i rocked it.
I don’t know how i could have lived without my future diary.
It was currently lunchtime and as usual i was sitting with my friends, while they were chatting i decided to check out my diary.
3:21(Friday)[school]
The day ended and walked with a friend towards their house to hang out
“Hey does anyone want to come over for a weekend party!” Pinkie exclaimed gaining all of our attention.
I was about to saw i would but then i heard a static noise coming from my phone and i checked it out.
3:14(Friday)[school]
I went to Mrs. Cherillee’s classroom after hearing a strange noise
This confused me a lot because over the few days i’ve had this my diary never changed.
“Sunset are you there?” Rainbow asked snapping me back to reality “Are you going to Pinkie’s party?’ she asked me getting all the girls eyes on me.
“Uh.. sorry but i’ll have to miss it this time.” i said hesitantly still confused and a little scared.
“Okie dokie loki, see ya after school!” Pinkie shouted as lunch ended.
While school was continuing my mind kept going back to how my diary changed all of a sudden. Once school was over i looked at my phone again and found the entry was still the same as when it changed.
I then noticed that it was 3:10 and i was walking right past Ms. Cherilee’s class when a crash came from it.
I was terrified but continued forward to the room and opened the door. I found nothing in the room, it was clean and in order, no one was in there so i continued forward confused. Then i noticed that there was a large paper recently stapled to the wall that drew me closer. Once i reached it i was terrified to read it said FIRST in all caps when i heard static from my phone again.
3:12(Friday)[Cherilee’s classroom]
Spike walks into the room and we talk for a second then i feel a sharp metal go through my chest.
DEAD END
I was horrified to read that when i heard the door open and saw Spike walk inside the room saying “Sunset there you are.”
Before he continued i screamed and ran to the other door and ran out trying to get away from him. I managed to get outside of the school and turned around and didn’t see him when i reached the sidewalk and then saw him walking to me to my left so i bolted to the right as fast as i could go.
I then found myself a few blocks from the school still running when my phone went static.
3:18(Friday)[downtown]
I turned a corner to find Spike somehow got in front of me.
DEAD END
I looked ahead and saw Spike running towards me so i immediately turned right into a hospital parking building.
I ran straight for the elevator and pressed the 3rd floor button when my diary changed.
3:21(Friday)[parking building]
I managed to get to the third floor without Spike
DEAD END
I was absolutely terrified and confused when the door was about to close but a hand got in the way. I looked up to see Spike standing there staring at me blankly with no expression whatsoever. Before i could make any sound Spike grabbed my hand that had my phone and pinned it to the wall.
“You can trust me first.” he said in a calming voice but shocked me as he let his grip on my hand soften. “Your diary is safe.” he told me startling me more before he looked out the window on the right. “It’s him.” he said gaining an angered expression on his face when i looked down to see a man in a mask looking up at us holding a large butcher knife.
“Who is that?” i asked startled and confused.
“That is the third diary owner, Third. Also known as the recent killer on the streets.” he said calmly when the door opened before he pushed the 5th floor button which is the highest floor.
“What are you doing we should get away from him!” i exclaimed at him before he held a hand up at me.
“Your diary says dead end on the 3rd floor so on the 5th floor we can plan to stop him.” he started as we continued up to the top. “If you don’t kill him you’ll be the first one out of the survival game.” he said freezing me.
“Survival Game?” i questioned when we got to the top. The roof simply had a generator, the elevator, and tons of empty parking.
“Now remember a owners diary is destroyed the owner dies so when his diary is exposed destroy it if you can.” he told me before we walked out. “So get something that can break it then hide until he gets it out.” he finished before he went behind the elevator.
I then quickly started to look around and found a broken glass window some junkies probably broke and i gently grabbed the biggest piece i could and hid behind the generator.
The elevator then opened up and the man with the butcher knife walked out looking around. He had a large black trench coat on and a large hat but i was able to see he had orange hair.
“Dammit. Where is she?” he cursed pulling out his cell phone to check something.
I realized that must be his diary, i then quietly charged at him and knocked him down making his phone fly out of his hand. I ran straight for the phone and held up the glass and brought it down as fast as i could when he picked up his head watching me shove the glass through the phone.
I got up and back away from him as he started to swirl in on himself and making agonized sounds of pain. I was horrified at the sight as he looked at me in the eyes as his body kept swirling and disappeared.
Spike then walked out clapping at me “Congratulations first, you stopped third eliminating him. All i can say is good luck for the future.” he said as he went to the elevator and pushed a button.
Hours later i was in the circle room again looking up at Deus.
“What is going on! Why are there other diary owners!!” i demanded to know as he simply chuckled at me.
“I’ll will explain now” he said waving his hand as i closed my eyes. When i opened then i found myself in a floating circle on a pedestal with 11 others all with other people that were just black fog but one had DEAD END on it.
“Now that you’re all here i can explain the rules for the survival game.” Deus started standing up from his throne in front of all the pedestals. “You all have what is called a future diary, whatever you entered in your original diary it will now tell you the future of those events.” he stated as everyone looked down at what i assumed was their diary.
“Hey, sometimes when i look my diary changes.” a young girl called out who was on the seventh pedestal. “Depending on your diaries entries you can change the future by not following the diary.” Deus explained.
“Sometimes my diary changes when i don’t do anything.” I called out nervously. “You aren’t the only one who can change the future” he simply said looking down at me.
“Using your diaries you must find out who each of you are and eliminate the others, when someone has found you your diary will have a DEAD END flag.” he continued scaring me when i had one. “Each of you are given a number and remember if the diary is destroyed the owner dies as well.” he finished.
“What happens when only one person is left?” an older woman on the 6th pedestal questioned.
“The last one standing in this survival game, will become my heir. They will become god.” he exclaimed. “It isn’t fair but how they fared against third first is my favorite to win.” Deus finished sitting back down.
“Then the biggest threat would be.” a teenage girl who was Twelfth started before she disappeared
“First” The older man Eleventh finished disappearing
“Wait what.” i started starting to tear up.
“lookout First.” an old man Tenth said who was gone.
“Don’t die before i get to you.” a young boy Ninth said vanishing.
“Good luck First” a woman Eighth said kindly going away.
“I’m not a threat.” i started scared tears shedding.
“I see your fear young one.” Sixth said vanishing.
“Have fun First.” Seventh said disappearing.
“I hope we meet First.” a young boy Second said fading away.
“But i-” i cut myself off crying.
“Don’t worry First.” i heard looking up to see a grown man Fourth. “I’ll protect you.” he said leaving.
“Poor poor First.” a very young kid Fifth said vanishing leaving me alone.
I knew that this was going to ruin my life forever and that i would never be safe until i either die… or kill.
