A new hell begins
Twilight Sparkle woke up with a start that morning. “Shit it is back.” Twilight Sparkle said to herself. "Spike wake up… I need to go to Canterlot and you need to tell my friends and send rarity to the hospital as well.” "Is it back?” the a young dragon asked. “Yes, the phoenix state has come back to show it ugly head and clam to more victims. I am going to Canterlot to confirm this.” Said Twilight Sparkle, Spike nodded and replied "ok Twilight! Will you come back?” “No, Ponyvile hospital is not equipped to help me this time. I am going to need sum high powered painkillers for this one. And you know just how this all will end.” Said Twilight Sparkle with a mournful tone in her voice. Spike head dropped and he started to cry, he knew he’d out live her as a dragon but this was far too soon for his liking.
Twilight Sparkle teleported to Canterlot. “I… i… it is all over…." Spike started sobbing as he quickly made a out of business sign and posted it on the library. Just as Rarity walk passed, only catching it out of the corner of her eye as Spike put up the sign. "Spiky, what is going on here?" Asked a concerned Rarity. Spike looked up with sad teary eyes "Twilight’s life is nearly over….” Rarity had a look of shock on her face. “Why whatever do you mean Spike." Asked Rarity “I can't confirm it, yet but we think she has the phoenix state. Form what i read it is a plague, which was meant to control the unicorn population. By….by… killing the brain cells that control magic. But in doing that it would also kill the infected unicorn in the process…" Spike paused and looked up, in an alarmed voice he said “OH shit…” "Dear which you mouth around a lady" Rarity chided him. “I’m sorry Rarity, but I remembered something else. It is way twilight never wanted to make friends.” “O-dear is it that bad?” Asked a worried Rarity.
"YES" spike screamed in agony then with tier full eyes said “It also kills the unicorns that are close friends of those who have it.” Rarity stepped back and fainted on the spot. Spike worked quickly wake her. “Rarity you need to get to Canterlot. If you stay here you will be in great pain as it takes hold and ... and...“ Spike was unable to finish the sentence to the love if his life he was fighting back tears. “OK Spike, I will be on my way to the train station now. Goodbye Spike” said Rarity as she ran off. Spike started to say, Goodbye. But stopped himself and said instead “I will meet you in Canterlot after I tell the rest of our friends!”
The train reached Canterlot that night. She checked in to the hospital and asked “May I have a privet room with Twilight Sparkle.” The nurses looked down at the young mare. Rarity looked back up to the nurses with a look of solemn dared. Then Doctor walks in to the waiting room with a passed out twilight in a wheelchair. Rarity looked up to the Doctor with a face of shock "Hello sir may I ask why Twilight is sleeping like that?" He shook his head and said “It’s sad really it been so long since I have had to treat this illness. Haven’t had a case years, the only thing I can think to do is to sedate her and give her the most powerful pain killers we have.” Rarity gulped and asked “How long will she live Doctor.” He looked to Twilight Sparkle "about a week at best."
Rarity took a deep breath and said “I am her closest unicorn friend and I don't hang out with other unicorn that often so I think it will stop after me.” The Doctor sighed and said "I know it morbid but thank Celestia for small blessings. I will have a nurse get a wheelchair for you, and we will tack you back to your privet room.” Rarity sighed nodding and replied "Thank you good sir." She was soon wheeled in to the large room with 2 beds, and helped in to bed by a nurse. “Just lay back and relax. Are you in pain yet?” the Doctor asked "Not yet." answered Rarity. “OK, just stay here, as we put twilight in her bed and wake her up.” said the Doctor “Alright… will… will she die before I do?” asked Rarity nervously "Yes I sorry to say she will I’m afraid." Said the Doctor in a sad tone
Back in Ponyvile Spike was able to get all of Twilight Sparkle’s and Rarity’s friend to the library. Rainbow Dash was trying to stop Spikes crying. "It can’t be that bad Spike." Asked Pinkie Pie in a voice full of mirth that did not fit the news Spike about to tell his Friends as she was looking around the room. Spike sifted a little then said “Ok, I… I’m ok. You may have noticed the sign on the liberty and the carousel boutique. Twilight and Rarity are in Canterlot hospital.” The 4 ponies gasped and started to interrogate Spike. “What happened?” Rainbow Dash asked. “A plunge that was made 10 thousand year ago to control the population of unicorn.” Started Spike. “Control the population, you mean kill right?” asked a puzzled and nerves Apple Jack "Yes… They will both die in a week….” Said Spike a tier running down his face “We’ll need to go comfort them in a time of need.” Said Flutter shy shaking a little. “Your right Flutter Shay we need to get to Canterlot fast.” Declared Rainbow Dash. They took the last train to Canterlot that night. They arrived at the hospital around midnight both the unicorns have been sedated for the night so the 4 friends and spike slept on the floor.
That morning twilight family arrived at the hospital to see her kid in her final week of life. Her mother burst into tears seeing her child in this state. Hearing the anguished cries of her mother Twilight Sparkle woke up. The older mare in the prime of her life was a beauty to behold and personal assistant.
“I love you mom.” Twilight Sparkle spoke. “I’m so happy you're here. Is dad here?” Her mother smiled weakly and said “yes he was, went to get you some book form the house. He left them there by accident in our rush to see you.” “Is my brother here.” Asked Twilight Sparkle the old mare sighed looking in her childes eyes. “Yes later today he will be here. He has a very important job remember sweet heart.” Her mother said. Twilight Sparkle groaned “I remember mom but, I think me dyeing is a bit more impotent.” The door opened and the sound of hooves on tile heralded the colts arrival before “Your, so right little sis.” Said her brother Shining Armor as he walked into the hospital room. “Oh my gosh, shining armor you’re here!” Squealed Twilight Sparkle. After hearing Twilight Sparkle ecstatic sequel Rarity woke up. “Good morning dear’s.” said Rarity “Morning” Twilight Sparkle replayed before asking.”Have you met my mother?” “I do not believe I had the pleasure to.” Said Rarity trying to maintain her lady like demeanor. “Mom met rarity she is one of my friends I made in Ponyvile.” Said Twilight Sparkle the older mare looked to the attractive young mare. “I am so sorry, this has affected you as well Miss Rarity.” Said Twilight the older mare Twilight Sparkle’s mother (Twilight Sparkle’s mother uses the same colors and cutie mark of g1 Twilight so it’s assumed that’s who she is)
“Mom, Bro we need to talk. I am 19 year old, I have never had a colt friend and I have never had sex before in my life! I think this is something i need to do before I die.” Said a blushed Twilight Sparkle. Rarity head shot up and she said “Dear yes that is one thing that I loved in life, and I think it’s good to feel the love 2 pony can share between each other.” Shining Armor stood up. ”Twi um you now the Princesses sometimes use my guards as um… consort. But I think I can find a noble colt to grant one of the elements of harmony last wish in her final days of life.” Twilight sighed. “Thank you big brother, find me the stallion of my dreams
