You've been in Equestria for a few weeks, within those few weeks you've become friends with everypony (they were terrified at first but then they realized how friendly you are) and you've already have a crush on somepony. Yes you do and that somepony is Rarity and when you first saw Rarity it was love at first sight. You have some pros and cons in the way like one of your pros are being a gentleman and one of your cons is being a little clumsy, like the time you were helping Twilight stack up books but you accidentally bumped into the bookshelf and all the books fell to the ground and Twilight was gunning you down like the Royal guard would.
Today you're going to her boutique and you think you're ready to tell her how you feel. You've been practicing and rehearsing for it and you hope it'll go well. The reason why you're going to the boutique is because Rarity was you to help her with something, she didn't mention what it was so it's a surprise to you.
You head down to the boutique to see what Rarity wants. You get there and knock on the door and you are greeted by Rarity's little sister: Sweetie Belle.
"Hello sir." The little filly says with a smile on her face.
"Hello Sweetie Belle, is Rarity here?"
"Yes she is. I'll go get her." The filly says and runs off to go get her sister. A few minutes later the filly comes back with Rarity behind her.
"Oh, there you are. Come with me." She says and motions you to come in. Rarity leads you into her bedroom where you can see there are a three dresses lined up. "I know it's kinda strange to ask you something like this but I was wondering if you could pick a dress out for me."
You take a look at the dresses. You can't decide which one to pick so you decide to ask her what this is for. "What's the special occasion."
I have a date tomorrow."
"Oh. Ok". You say. After you said that you felt your heart sink but you try to shake it off.
A few hours later you and Rarity both agreed on what dress she should wear and you leave. After you left you remembered that Rarity won't be single anymore. So you decide of the next best thing: Go home, lay down on your couch, and think of what to do next.
It's a new day. You wake up and get prepared for the day, but you suddenly remember Rarity has a date today. You start thinking about it and then you realize that if this date goes well then you need to find somepony else and that might never happen. You push that thought to the side and continue on with the day.
The rest of your day was a mix of bad and cool (But mostly it was bad). For one you were just walking around in Ponyville when suddenly a piano drops on you but on the plus side the piano did not break any bones in your body except you now have some back pain but overall you pretty much made it unscathed, and then Rainbow Dash pranked you by giving you a present but when you opened the present it exploded causing Rainbow Dash to start laughing uncontrollably but you walk away without saying a word but you have an expression of anger on your face.
It's now in the middle of evening and your now finally settling in when suddenly there's a knock at your door so you head to the door to see who it is and it's Sweetie Belle. "Hello Sweetie Belle."
She seems to be in rush from how she's moving and she seems a little worried. She calls out your name . "My sister needs you and it's an emergency."
"Why! What happened?"
"Follow me." The filly says and you follow her. You get to the boutique and once you rushed inside you can hear Rarity crying.
"Rarity! Are you okay?" You say and wait for a response but you don't get one so rush upstairs. "Don't worry Rarity! I'm coming!" You finally reach Rarity's room. "Rarity! What's wrong?" All you can hear is her crying so you go in and see what's wrong. Once you entered you can see Rarity crying on her bed. "Rarity! What's wrong?"
"It was horrible!"
"What happened!?"
My-my-my-my date was absolutely terrible! She says stuttering her speech. "My-my-my date with this s-stallion was horrible because he wasn't even a gentlecolt. He had no manners at a-all."
"Don't worry calm down, I'm here for you." You say as you walk over to her, hop on her bed, and hug her. She just sobs as you're arms are wrapped around here.
"Thank you darling."
You start thinking for a moment. Should you tell her or should you wait. You are interrupted by Sweetie Belle walking in.
"Is everything okay?"
"Yes, I'm just here comforting her." You say petting her.
"Thanks for being here for her." She says with a smile on her face.
"It's no problem. I'll always be here for her."
"I bet if you had a crush in my sister and she found out. You two would be the perfect couple." Then she walks away.
"How did she know? I hope Rarity doesn't ask that question." You say in your thoughts but suddenly you troubles come to you when Rarity asks you what you didn't expect her to say.
"I am curious darling. Do you have a crush on me? Don't worry I won't be upset if your not."
"What if I do?" You say and lightly facepalm yourself. There's no turning back now.
"Do you?"
You just trapped yourself you have to say it. "I do, I do Rarity, ever since I came to Equestria I had my eyes on you and I can't take them off you, I do but I was afraid you won't like me so I kept it secret from you!"
Rarity just look at you with a shock expression on her face. "Oh my. I didn't know you had a crush on me. I thought you would've fallen for Twilight, Fluttershy, or somepony else. But me I'm just shocked.
"My question to you is: Would you like to go out with me Rarity?"
I could give you a shot darling, I mean you seem perfect for me but a date will set things straight so yes I would love to go out with you."
"Do you want to set a date and time for when this will happen?"
Tomorrow night at a fancy restaurant in Canterlot. Got that?"
"Got it lovely."
"I'll see you tommorow night and darling I feel so much better since you came here to comfort me. Thank you."
Yesterday you told Rarity that you love her and today is the day you go on a date with Rarity. You are excited and nervous about this day. Will the date go perfect or terrible, but from how you treat her you think things will go great but there's still one problem in the way: Your clumsiness. You are going to try your best to not have an accident like you did when you were helping Twilight.
You decide to take a trip to Canterlot to look at some fancy restaurant's. Luckily you found one and you think it's the perfect restaurant. Then you go back home and find a nice clothing to wear for tonight. You've found a nice buttoned up shirt and a nice pair of jeans. You go to tell Rarity to meet you at the train station tonight to go to Canterlot. Last but not least you go and get tickets to go to Canterlot. Your all set.
It's time for your date with Rarity. You are waiting for her to arrive you look behind you and there she is coming towards you wearing a beautiful dress and a smile. She walks up to you. "You look stunning."
"So do you, Shall we?" You lay your hand out.
"Lets." You both walk into the train and your off to Canterlot.
A moment later you and Rarity arrive in Canterlot. You take Rarity to the restaurant you've been waiting to her to. A Stallion and a Mare. "Oh! Perfect choice." Rarity says to you. You both walk in and get seated but as a gentlemen you pull out Rarity's chair and seat her. "Why thank you darling."
You both order your food and tell her about herself. But she already knows everything about you so she tells you about herself. But some her secrets aren't that bad like: the time she had a bad hair day "Oh the horror!" She says, or about the time she was at the gala and met Prince Blueblood. "He was a prince but he certainly didn't act the way I expected he would.", and the time when she got infected by poison joke "Oh my, things were so messed up that day".
After a little while you got your food and you start eating. In between you decide to talk about some things they don't know about you. Like how nice you were on your world "I held the door open and I had manners on my world, or the time you when two of your friends were fighting over you "I had two friends fighting over me and I just watched them because I didn't know what to do."
You both finish your food and you go back home. On the way home you think to yourself. "Did this date go well? It looks like it went well".
You get to Rarity's place and walk her to her door then you leave but Rarity calls you back "Hey wait!".
You turn around to see what she wants. "Yes."
"Tonight was one of the best nights I've ever had and it was all because of you. You've proven yourself as a good coltfr- I mean boyfriend as they say it in your world."
"So does that mean we are..." She nods.
"Yes we are and come closer darling. I have something for you."
You squat down to her and move closer to her. "Yes m-" You are silenced by her lips pressing against your lips. It happened so quickly. You both enjoy this for a few more seconds before she breaks the kiss.
"How about you spend the night here with me. Just because it so late and so you don't have to walk home."
"That's fine with me." You say with a smile as you enter.
"Sweetie Belle should be in bed by now. I told I was going to be late when I get home." Rarity leads you into her bedroom and you both jump into bed.
"Good night my love." You say and kiss her on the forehead.
"Good night to you too darling." She gives you a quick kiss on the lips. You wrap your arms around her and she wraps her hooves around you as the both of you fall asleep.
