Diamond Tiara
Diamond Tiara walked home from school with her friends, Silver Spoon, Scootaloo, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle. They truly were great friends, she wondered how angry her mom, Spoiled Rich will be today. Yesterday, when she made friends with the Cutie Mark Crusaders, she was so angry that her face was almost as red as blood. It wasn't a pretty sight.
Diamond Tiara was telling her new friends about how her mom's head almost popped off, they all burst out laughing, but it really, really wasn't pretty. It was too soon when they reached the Carousel Boutique and Sweetie had to go.
"Bye guys, see you again tomorrow!" came the voice of Sweetie as she ran off to her home.
As they continued to walk, Scootaloo talked. She talked about how Rainbow Dash had recently become one step closer to her biggest dream, a very, very big step. Rainbow Dash had become a Wonderbolt Reserve! Diamond Tiara already knew that because Scootaloo had said it numerous times, but she tried to act shocked. She glanced at Silver Spoon, she saw her doing the same. Scootaloo and Apple Bloom smiled, but in different ways.
Diamond Tiara heard Rainbow Dash calling, "Hey, squirt, I'm over here, need a lift?" Scootaloo nodded in return.
Apple Bloom, Silver Spoon continued to talk with Diamond Tiara until they had to split up. Diamond Tiara thought she would enter her cottage, well, it was more like a mansion, to find her parents' heads bursting, she was correct.
"Diamond Tiara, up to your room, NOW! Making friends with pathetic little fillies is unacceptable!" Spoiled Rich screamed at Diamond Tiara, she was grounded for, well, as long as her mom wanted to ground her, she assumed it would be pretty long. Diamond Tiara sighed.
Diamond Tiara walked the staircase up, and up, until she got to her room. Diamond Tiara opened the door, yesterday, Diamond Tiara had gone to Twilight's library to check out a few books that would help her with her spells. Diamond Tiara knew this wasn't exactly her cup of tea, but she thought she could learn something new.
Diamond Tiara decided to try Basic Spells for Young Fillies first, because it would be easier to learn the other ones when she had mastered all the ones in this book. Though Twilight hadn't mastered a few of these so it might still be a bit hard. At least Diamond Tiara would be known for something other than wearing a tiara on her head every day, even when she went to sleep.
The first spell was turning something, or someone into a toad, Diamond Tiara held a grin on her face, she would try it on her mom when she got really annoyed at her, but she was surprised a powerful spell like this one was so easy, she tried it on a shrub in her neighbor's yard. The toad might've just gotten into their house and freaked out the baby...
Diamond Tiara paged through the book, trying out the ones that seemed interesting. There was one that could create a swimming pool in your backyard, another that lit a fire, which was really easy, and another that created a giant ice cube around whatever or whomever you point it at. Diamond Tiara would love this book.
"Diamond Tiara, time for dinner, come now!" Spoiled Rich screeched from downstairs
For dinner, Diamond Tiara was served uncooked spaghetti without anything on it while her parents were served cooked spaghetti with olive oil, her mom's wonderful tomato sauce, and really tasty meatballs. Diamond Tiara was a bit jealous.
After dinner Diamond Tiara asked her mom if she could go to Twilight's library again, her mom thought about it, and answered, "Well, I guess you could if you returned a couple of my overdue books, and payed for them, it would be about a hundred dollars." Diamond Tiara was reluctant, but she nodded her head in agreement. She really wanted to get away from her family.
Diamond Tiara exited her mansion, and walked the paths of Ponyville, she brought her money in a pocket, and since she couldn't bear the heavy bag of books on her back, was dragging it with her teeth. The night air of Ponyville smelt sweet, like the essence of roses, and, as she neared Twilight's library, which you could enter through the side entrance of her castle, smelled dusty and it felt lived in. Diamond Tiara loved the smell of books now, but she still loved friends.
Diamond Tiara opened the side door, Twilight was sitting at her desk. She was doing whatever royal princesses do.
"Hello, Diamond Tiara, you read all of those so quickly?" Twilight asked.
"No, I'm still on the first one, I just wanted to return the others and pay for some fines that cost a hundred dollars, my mom asked me to pay them for her, with my own money."
"Don't worry about that, you can have it free, I need to teach her a lesson. I'll tell ya what, ask her to come here tomorrow at around noon, would ya?"
"Sure, thanks Twilight!" Diamond Tiara smiled, her mom would learn her lesson.
Diamond Tiara walked out of the library, cool air blew her hair backwards, she smelt the sweet, flowery smell again. Fresh air, ah. Diamond Tiara was excited for tomorrow at about noon, her mom would get busted!
Diamond Tiara carried the bag and her money home. Diamond Tiara opened the door.
"Time you got back! Up to bed!" Spoiled Rich screamed as Diamond Tiara walked inside.
"Wait, mo-"
"Enough!"
"Mom, a message fro-"
"I said ENOUGH!"
"Meet Twilight at her library at noon tomorrow, she wants to see you. Thanks for letting me finish my sentence this time." Diamond Tiara finished.
"Okay, thank you, now up!" Spoiled Rich was, I guess you could say, very, very bossy.
Diamond Tiara walked up the stairs to her room, she slipped on her PJs, which were white with Tiaras all over them. They were the soft, cozy kind, not the itchy or scratchy kind.
Diamond Tiara brushed her teeth well, because she didn't like to look bad, and hopped into bed. She smiled.
She couldn't wait until her mom got busted.
