With the Gala coming up, The remaining princesses have no other choice but to bring in allies and fight against a group of dark magic users. And while they prepare for the upcoming battle, romance starts to bloom as well as memories and secrets coming to light.

Twilight

Equestria may not look like what it sounds at first, but maybe because the first person you would meet will be a human, an average person that has lots of strength and agility. But they're not the only ones you would run into 'cause there's also the angels that can fly and walk on clouds, and there's the mage's with what you may consider their wands when those glowing sticks are actually called 'horns'. And let's not forget about the princesses, in fact, they'real sometimes considered as goddesses because not only do they have powerful magic or large wings which they can hide with a simple yet challenging spell, but because they don't have to use their horns or staffs, or in my case, a sceptre, to use magic. Why? Because we can use our wings or hands instead!

But no, the point of Equestria is that it got its name from the horses that you find all around: the average ones we call 'earth-ponies', the pegasi, the unicorns, and the most rare of all; the alicorns.

There are theories that the citizens of Equestria were horses because a mage isn't given their horn, they are born with it on their foreheads, and when a young mage has become of age or knows a couple of powerful spells, their horn falls or breaks off and leaves a marking on your forehead that glows when they use their magic, at least, that's what I read about a month ago.

I am Twilight Sparkle, the Princess of Friendship, the element of Magic, one of Equestria's many heroes, and once the mentor of Starlight Glimmer. But all that was about three to five years ago, and most of my friends have moved on with their lives.

Fluttershy has been engaged to Discord for six months and they were having issues as to when the wedding would be. Honestly, aside from me, the others thought the two would never get together, thinking they were 'just friends', but I actually thought they were cute together, and the best part about it? Fluttershy wanted me to be her maid of honour, probably because I was the first to approve. Guess that would be better than leading the ceremony, I can't imagine myself doing that, besides, Princess Celestia did a better job at Shining Armour and Cadance's wedding.

Rarity was currently in Canterlot checking the Boutique and probably hanging with the Canterlot elite. She's still making dresses and opened boutiques in other locations like Manehattan and the Crystal empire, and I forgot to mention that she tries to find a suitor while visiting the boutiques. She has been ever since Fluttershy and Discord got together, but she never considered Spike as an option because she only considers him as a friend. I remember last year, Spike tried to confess his feelings for Rarity, and although she felt it was heartwarming, sadly, she turned him down. He claimed his crush on Rarity was no more afterwards, and I should have been proud but I became concerned because the next day, he looked like he was ten years older, but later I found out that his physical change was a sign meaning that he was fully matured. I should have known since he is one of the rarest dragon people living.

Rainbow Dash was given a chance to join the Wonderbolts, we all thought she would accept since it was her biggest dream, but instead, she shocked everyone by declining and decided to create her own small team and call them 'the Rainbooms'. She tried to get Fluttershy to join the team but soon gave up, but I remember her saying that Soarin quit the Wonderbolts and joined the Rainbooms, then there was Cloudchaser and Flitter, Thunderlane and his little brother Rumble, I keep forgetting the name of the bodybuilding angel, either it was Snowflake or Bulk Biceps, and finally, Scootaloo.

Pinkie Pie was... well, Pinkie Pie. She was still energetic and flexible, but I caught her one day writing a letter to Cheese Sandwich. She claimed that she and Cheese try to get in touch while Cheese is traveling, but the two soon decided to take on apprentices in each town so that Cheese didn't have to go back and forth, and so they could be together without being separated by a PinkieCheese sense.

Applejack stayed at the apple farm and started harvesting by herself. Big Mac was already married to Cherilee and moved to a different town to start their own farm and family. Applebloom became an artist of fine arts and would travel all across Equestria and paint the scenic views she comes across, she still returns to Sweet Apple acres to help AJ when she can. Granny Smith sadly passed away three months ago, she was AJ's only companion until her time came, then in the following weeks, she overworked and became stressed. Sometimes, me and the others help, but we've had our own problems as well so we couldn't always be there. Spike had nothing to do and was already mature, so I convinced him to help AJ on the farm. The two seemed to get along so well that Spike decided to leave the castle and stay with Applejack at The farm. About two or three weeks ago, Fluttershy and I were talking as we were heading over to Sweet Apple acres to help on the farm since we had no plans, but as soon as we got there, AJ and Spike were nowhere in sight, so I had called them, and a few minutes later, they came out of the house all flustered.

As for Starlight Glimmer, she has learned a lot more about friendship and decided to spread the lessons all across Equestria. She traveled to every town and city, but seemed to avoid Canterlot and didn't bother to tell me why, but I believe I recall the reason.

I didn't tell Starlight that I went to the same school as Sunburst, that was mainly because I never really noticed him at the time, but when I did, he tried to take Spike away from me and ended up being in detention for a full week. My horn came off around that time, but I distinctively remember I was reading late in the night but suddenly heard Spike crying from outside, and as soon as I came out, I seen Sunburst trying to run, but was stopped by a boy who took Sunburst's horn and Spike, then led Sunburst and motioned me to follow him to Princess Celestia's quarters. I didn't see Sunburst or that boy since then.

Surprisingly around the time my niece, Flurry Heart was born, Starlight admitted that she ran into Sunburst while visiting the Crystal Empire and that they got to spend so much time with each other

So much has happened since the time loop incident and meeting my other self at Canterlot high. Unlike Equestria's residents, everyone at Canterlot High is normal, no wings and no magic, but the scary thing about the students is that their hair isn't really as colourful, I mean everyone except for Sunset and I, because everyone else either had black, brown, or blonde hair, and there were very few with coloured hair. Back to the point, the map seemed to be calling minimal to zero times which we found weird at first, but soon, we forgot about it and moved on with our lives. The map has been inactive ever since.

I was currently sitting on a beam in my library, finishing off the book I was reading. It became a habit of mine to get a book and fly up to a beam and read it there, and I find it really comfortable, especially for my wings.

Out of nowhere, a bone-chilling cold creeped up my back, blurred scenes and muffled voices surrounded me. A vision. The only things that were clear was the blood, the screams, and... my horn and sceptre? But The vision already ended, and I found myself hanging upside down on the beam, guess I should be glad I'm not wearing a dress. There was something else I saw, and it was the map!

A knock on the library door shook me from my thoughts, Fluttershy entered, and looked around, not bothering to look up. She was here to discuss her wedding plans with me today.

"Twilight?" She called called out.

"Yeah?" I answered while struggling to fix myself upright, my large lavender wings weighing me down.

I caught sight of Fluttershy standing directly below me, her gaze looking upward with worry.

"Don't ask." I pleaded as I twisted around and reached up, finally latching onto the crystal beam and pulling myself up. I started to slowly descend, pondering on whether I should tell my friend about the vision or not.

"I-is some thing wrong?" Fluttershy's eyes shifted from worry to concern. I didn't reply, not knowing what to say.

I noticed the angel's face falter. "It's the wedding, isn't it?" My eyes widened in shock.

"NO! Fluttershy, it's just that... It's hard to explain..." I was about to say more, but I felt a familiar sensation I haven't felt for a long time.

"... The Cutie Map!" I cried as I started heading towards the map at a quick pace, I could tell that Fluttershy was following because I could hear her wings flapping.

The map room was covered in dust, the table still there but not showing the map like it always did. There was a faint magenta light that seemed really close to the ledge of the table. The map was calling me somewhere.
