Megakat city a city that used to be full of crime. That was twenty to almost thirty years ago. Thanks to the Swat Kats after winning almost every battle they fought. The battle that finally made them win had been taking down Dark Kat. That battle a long grueling battle. It ended with this lair blowing up and no one has seen him since. Thirty years past the Swat Kats retire even if Chance and Razor have to work in the junkyard to pay their debt. Things calm and everything normal until one day.

In a heavy prison used to hold the worst of the worst of Megakat city had to offer. In this prison, a certain Dr. Is released

" Ah good to see you again Dr. Viper." Viper looked up he has been muzzled. " You have a visitor." He opens the door and walking in is Dark Kat. Dark Kat gives the Cop a sack of money nodding to him. " Enjoy your Visitor." He winks heading out of the prison.


" First let’s remove this Dr. Viper." Dark Kat uses his dark magic to remove the muzzle Viper hissing stroking his muzzle."

"Twenty yearsss? It's taken you to come and get me. Why so long?" Viper groaned a bit.

"It's taken that long to get my minions in key spots of the government. Allow my little friend's to take you to the meeting place. I have another place to go to." Viper nodded while the little gremlin-like creature pulls Viper into a portal. Causing him to vanish.

Dark Kat walks through the old Prison outside of Mega Kat city. In the cell's all the cops are in there either dead or knocked out from his powers. Controlling the Prison is all the old inmates. But he had another thing to do. He needed to get the rest of the pieces of the board.

He looked into another one of the cells with a smile. " Hello, Dr. Harley Street impressive to see you alive." The Dr looked up he looked like he is in a wheelchair thanks to what Chance did to him back in the day.

In an old warehouse, all the pieces have been put together. Of course, all of them wouldn't show up at once. When Dark Kat enter's the warehouse. The only pieces that are there. Are Dr. Viper and Harley street.

" Ah, MIssster street. I ssseee you're alive."

Street smiled weakly. " No thanks to those Swat Kats. Now, what is all this about?" Dark Kat sat in the chair chuckled softly.

" I have been working on a plan to take over MegaKat city for twenty years now. All the parts are in place. We will control this city once and for all. But first thing's first. The Pastmaster is bringing a guest." The portal opened up but of course, the creature's stood in the darkness.

" Ah I see you brought them, Past master." The creature's stayed in the darkness. " Now the first part of my plan.

Another prison farther outside of Mega Kat city a riot started. Causing the guards to lose the fight. But to keep it on the low no one on the outside knew what was been going on. One of the cell's open up a women steps out. The female creature's bow.

" Mistress Turmoil your blimp is waiting." She smirked while another cell opens up. One of the creature's toss a suit to another prisoner. The one that walks out with the suit Hard Drive.

"Took you long enough." He placed on the surge coat and it still fits him he chuckled his powers now working fully. Lifting his hands. "Let’s see if I can still work this." He started to hack the power supply of the prison. A few cops with the heavy shield's come rushing in. he chuckled. " Here come's the charge!!"

He shoots the power he got from the power supply into the approaching cops. They scream falling to the ground dead. Their hand's smoking. He smirks. " Ah, I still got it." Dark Kat came out of a portal and he smiled.

" Ah, Hard Drive I have a job for you. I need every prison in the world to open along with.  Alcatraz Prison."

" Very tall order Dark Kat. How do we keep them from warning the enforcer's?"

Dark Kat smiled. " Oh, that's easy all of my minions control the Prisons. Their just waiting for you. Head to the computer room since of course. Feral over the years linked all the computers."

Hard Drive smirked heading to the computer room to do his job.

Turmoil bowed her head to Dark kat. " Thank you for freeing me... Now I have a chance to get revenge on T-Bone." Dark Kat chuckles.

"Remember to show up when the battle starts. I'm going to make sure every phone line and ability to contact the Swat Kat's is blocked till I wish them to know."

It was a calm day in Mayor Mank’s office. Miss Calico Briggs has been working for him for a long time now. She along with Feral have been working with him for along time. Of course, after 20 year's age has taken the toll on the poor Mayor he again is trying to get reelected but of course, age won't help.

" Ah, Cali. I am going to doing some golfing soon." Briggs rolled her eyes.

" Of course sir." The two didn't see it coming but outside in the city. A little robot named Zed. A robot that the Swat Kat's took out years ago seems to be rebuilt of course he has a different body to how he looked in the past. Coming out of the subway in a suit. It is an old clown known as MadKat. But still, they seem to be waiting for the right moment. How MadKat got out of jail is beyond most. But he gave a nod to some cops walking. The entire cops, not the Enforcers has been paid off.

But the attack they have been waiting for is about to start. A portal opens up above from the PastMaster. Coming out of his a fleet of Alien ships. inside the ships. Opening up the old  Ci-Kat-A victims from the past fall to the city below. To bring more under their control. But in the ships, two old foes laugh.

" Ah, Tragg we shall now control this town. " Their ships opened fire on many of the buildings. Causing them to fall. The attack was now.

Mad Kat smirked went to do his thing of course he would stay out of this fight. He had something he wished to do. that finally got his revenge.

Up above Turmoil and her minions fired on the population. Of course with all the communications being blocked. Feral didn't even know what was going on. He couldn't get his enforcer's in place. He was at home asleep. But of course, Dark Kat had a plan. Feral niece no longer worked for the Enforcer's thanks to Dark Kat. She was forced out of the city and vanished.

Now the enforcer's headquarters under attack. I had no choice but to fight back. But hey had no Commander. Until Commander Steel walked inside smirking.

" Enforcer's stand down. The mayor has told us not to fight." The enforcers looked at him and then dropped their arm's. If the Mayor said not to fight then it was wise not to. Of course, when he stepped aside stood there the Metalla kats. Molly and Mac smiled. Lifting their weapons.

" You goons heard him lower your weapons. " Molly said laughing.

" Yeah or..Oh, what the heck." They started firing blasting every single Enforcer. Trying to kill them all. Steel laughed softly lifting his gun doing the same to them. For he wanted power in this new order.

In the city, it was in turmoil of course the Swat Kat's stayed mostly in their junkyard now a day's. They have turned off every device and it's all gathered dust. But they had their own issues to deal with. A truck honked and two obnoxious garbage kat's dumped their trash in front of the Swat Kat's home.

" HEY!!" Chance said. " I had enough of these twenty years I put up with you two enough is enough." Chance has grown a bit fatter then he used to be. He is a bit weaker but he still can pack a punch.

" Yeah, no need to do that." Jake on the other hand had been working out more. The two stood in front of the big and large Kat's. They both laughed.

" Awww you can't take a joke?" The larger one said. The smaller one laughed. Of course, Chance finally got the fight he wanted the two large ones came to blows. Jake outsmarted the smaller one.

" You know. I can take you." The smaller one said to Jake. Jake sighed and just grabbed a large board smacking the Kat out cold.

" Yeah yeah." He watched his friend with blood draining from his nose smacking the bigger one. Chance and Jake were the winners having to knock them both out. A thing they have been wishing to do most of their lives. Then Chance looked up his eyes grew cold.

" Turmoil. The city’s on fire."

The two Kat's went to get their gear. But most of their weapons have been in such disrepair that they wouldn't be able to use them. The glue pellets wouldn't work have their weapons are too old. The only thing they could use is the Turbo Kat. They placed their uniforms on. They didn't fit anymore. But hey had no choice.

They got into the Jet and flew off but they had no control.

" What's wrong with the Control's Jake?! I can't control it."

" I don't.." A laugh called out.

" AH hello Swat Kat's. Or should I say, Jake and Chance?"

" Hard Drive?!" Chance yelled.

" Ah ah.. You can't break the party yet. Allow me." He sent a charge into them both. As he controlled the plane having them fly to the City Hall. But during this. The army tried to fight back since some communications finally broke. But no luck. Mad Kat's revenge plans were in the works.

Turmoil and her women controlled the skies. Hard Drive controlled everything else. In the streets, Zed grew to enormous size taking out the army. All the buildings were on fire. The aliens had done their part. The enforcer's HQ nothing but rubble now. This had been planned for too long. They even knew how to take out the Swat Kat's once and for all.

Dr. Viper started his mutations again. Allowing them to take over the city. The city is lost the citizen's in retreat. Now they had no choice but to surrender.

The Swat Kat's were tied up in front of a new's crew with the dark evil behind them.

" Now as I promised to you. The ones who protect you all your lives. The ones who gave up on  you. While the city in one day fell without them ready. I give you." He removes their hoods. Feral finally sees them for he is here to tie up with the Mayor and Calie. It all happened so fast.

" I give you Jake and Chance. Now you so you will give me the rule to me and my friend's here along with the rest of the world. We will show you what happens' when you defy me."

Commander Steel lifted Commander Feral up into position.

" I never trusted you Steel." The old cat sneered.

" Oh, I just wanted your job Feral. Now I get it. In Dark Kat's new order." Steel lifted the gun. A shot rang out Feral fell to the ground. A hole in his head. He was dead Steel smirked.

Dark Kat laughed. " Next you will see your Swat Kat's destroyed in their Jet." Chance and Jake just looked like they had seen it all. But they lost their city they’re home. Calie looked hurt Pastmaster got his kiss and the dead creature smirked.

" Now I can marry you." Manx was grabbed by the two Metal Kat's.

" Now Mac lets go talk to or friend here." Mac laughed as they carried Manx away to do whatever to him.

There was no longer any hope in Mega Kat city the Swat kat's got defeated so easy. But that's what happens when you let a great villain escape and let him stew for 20 years. The two kat's were placed in the plane. Hard Drive controlled it causing it to fly off.

All gun's from each of the villans including Zed fired off at the jet. But Pastmaster wanted the world to himself. He lifted his watch. When a portal opened it. Caused a backfire to make the plane explode from all the gun shots. Causing the cockpit only to fly into the portal.

Dark Kat stared at PastMaster. He lifted him staring at him. " Know this PastMaster I control this city now. I gave you what you wanted now...allow me."

PastMaster smirked. " Oh, I understand." Of course, he had another motive. He wanted the Swat Kats to live. Because he didn't like the future he saw.

Its’s night in Equestria on a hill Twilight along with her friends looked at the stars. Spike wasn't there of course he was busy making sure Tempest would enjoy her new home in the castle. But they saw a strange fireball after an explosion happen the fireball fell from the sky.

" Twilight what is that?!" Rarity screamed.

"I don't know it's coming this way!!"

The fireball smashed into the ground not far from them. The six mares ran to the crash. Seeing what was left of the turbo kat. Along with the battered and broken Swat Kat's. Fluttershy flew up 
to check on them and frowned.

" Their alive but not doing so well." Applejack nodded.

" I will return." The others rush home to find help.

Twilight stare's at them. She uses her magic to lift the two up taking them to the castle leaving the Turbo Kat there. She will check it later.

The Swat Kat's are in a new world. But their world is now under siege by great evil. It's now time for them to stand up and be ready for what is to come.
> Chapter One: New home

                                         "Dreams will open the window of the soul... But at times they open nightmares..."

Twilight and her friends took the two large Kat's back to her castle. Placing them both in beds. They left the Turbokat behind smoking. The mane six looked to each other wondering what those two were.

"Twilight.... we can't... wake them... up, they seem in pain." Fluttershy softly spoke.

Twilight sighed and looked to Rainbow Dash. She softly spoke.

"Dash gather some guards and help them take whatever that thing we found them in and bring it to the middle of town. I will call the princess to help us study it."

Dash nodded and rushed out, while Twilight put blankets on the two cats. The two cats started to dream.

Chances dreams

In the dream, it was a normal day. Working in the junk yard and working on the turbokat he smiled and seemed to love the fact that... He was able to enjoy cleaning the turbokat. He kissed the turbokat and laughed loving all this. But something was wrong. What happened to Jake? He put his tools down and looked around. He called out.

"JAKE!! Jake where are you?!" He felt like he was getting watched and Dr Viper came from the darkness and laughed.

"Sssssoooo you are... one of the swatkat's. I am sorry to say... but jake is dead."

Chance's eyes went wide and he stopped in fear. Jake... dead? How... did he find their hideout? How did he get here? He turned to see Dark kat.

"Ah... hello Swatkat." The two went to attack and then a shield formed around Chance and a commanding voice spoke out.

"ENOUGH!!"

Dark kat and Dr viper vanished while... Chance was face to face with a dark alicorn. She stood there watching him calmly. Chance couldn't believe his eyes and looked around...

"What... who?"

The mare chuckled and came closer and gave a gentle smile.

"I am sorry Chance, was it? But your dreams are pretty awful... You don't seem to be from Equestria. But I mean you no harm. I am princess Luna." Chance blinked and looking around and sighed. "So I am in a dream? What is Equestria?"

Luna had a small smile on her face. "Equestria is a land of ponies Chance. But you seem to be lost in our world. Do you remember what happened?"

Chance thought a bit and sighed. "Yes... I'd rather not talk about it... But is Jake alright?"

Luna nodded and brought Chance to a door of dreams. "This is the dreams of my subjects but... this is Jake's door. Go in... but don't speak to him till I am there."

Chance nodded and went inside and watched the dream. It was him and Jake destroying the HQ as he sighed and looked down he caused Jake so much pain in his past. He would calmly watch his eyes slowly studying the fact this is not a bad dream but a good dream. Looking around calmly in this dream. It was a few day's after they built the jet. He sighs and looks to see Luna and blinks. "Are we going to be speaking to him too?"

Luna nodded and walked to Jake. "Excuse me Jake is the name right?"

Jake turned looking at Luna with a surprise in his eyes and looks to Chance. "Chance... what is going on?" Chance sighs and shakes his head. "Let her speak Jake..."

Luna nods and smiles softly. "Six friends saviours of our land... Found you and your destroyed contraption. They brought you to Twilight's castle for you to rest... But I think you both have questions."

Chance sighs. "How badly damaged is the Turbokat?" Luna looked at Chance. "I don't really know... I am sorry... But when you wake... I am sure Twilight will let you check on your own. But I am the princess of the night, Luna... I can go into ponies dreams and speak to them if need be. But I am sorry... I saw your world... I fear... That I have no idea how to get you back to your world... But till then welcome to Equestria."

Jake and Chance looked at each other and Jake sighed. "We need to find a way to get back... But how? Is it wise to force our way into this world Chance to fix the Turbokat?" Chance looked up to Jake and nods. "We will learn of this world... Gather what we can to fix the Turbokat. I will not give up we need to go back... Jake... I am sorry but..I am going to be trying to rebuild it. I will not be learning of this world... We have to get back to save the city."

Luna nodded and walked out of the dream and the two would wake and Jake sat up in the bed looking over to Chance, who woke up as well. "It seems we are in a world of ponies Chance... But I do agree we need to find a way out of this... Crystal place? Huh?" Chance looked around and sighed and a door opened up and Spike ran in. "You're awake!!!"

They both looked at the Baby Dragon. "A dragon......what kind of world is this?" Jake stood up and looked to Chance who stayed in the bed and seemed to be thinking. "I will come soon, Jake... I got a lot to think about." Jake nodded and left with Spike. Chance sat there holding his head sighing. "We failed.... is this a way to give us another chance? A way to give us another way to get home... Before all, that happened?" He layed his head back on the pillow and fell back asleep... to get more sleep and then find the Turbo kat.

Chance opened his eyes an hour later by Jake.

"Chance... you need to follow me... They're going to lead us to the Turbo kat." Chance sat up staring at Jake calmly nodding and slowly stood up. "Let's go." Jake nodded and lead Chance through the crazy castle that seemed much bigger on the inside than the outside. Chance stayed to himself. He looked at the six ponies who seemed to be close friends... But he didn't care.

Rainbow Dash looked up to Chance. "Hello... I'm~" She was silenced and Twilight shook her head. Jake nodded to them. "Lead us to it" The six ponies lead the two Kat's right the broken Turbokat. All that is left is the nose the cockpit. Chance put his hand on the Turbo Kat and whispered softly. "I will find a way.... to repair you... Even if I have to give this world new ways to live." Jake sighed and patted Chance on the back. "We will find a way to fix her."

Chance nodded. "Let's find a place like home that is nowhere near the town."

"Maybe we could talk to the mayor and she could give you some land."

Chance nodded tied the nose of the turbokat with the rope that was brought and dragged it back to ponyville.

8 months past

On the outskirts of ponyville, a large salvage yard was created. Since the ponies don't seem to do much of mining for iron and so forth. Chance and Jake built a large Salvage yard and built themselves a home after eight months. They don't wish to get to know the ponies at the moment. They heard stories that the ponies have never fought a war or anything of the sort. But the two were given old salved iron and other bits of junk. For the moment they seemed to do so much to help with this world by going from area to area to clean the junk everywhere. Jake drove in on his motorcycle he found a way to make a magic solar panel to keep the bike powered and behind him is a large trash trolly holding all kinds of junk.

"Chance!! I am back."

Chance came outside the house and he chuckled. "Well, I see you got another haul." He seemed to be in a new outfit. Rarity had made him and Jake an entirely new outfit. "I learned something interesting Chance... it seems the Princess of this land... Learned about the two of us. They are coming to visit us, so please be respectful." Chance just stared at his friend and nodded. He helped Jake remove the trash and scrap from the cart and he sighed.

"I have been rebuilding the Turbokat." Jake looked up to see Chance's sad face. "That's another thing we need to talk about... The creatures here wish to study it... Then learn to make what we have."

Chance looked up his eyes full of fear about this. This land... was so peaceful then they showed up... With tech, that could be used to harm this world. But knowing that he would be told by Jake... That they have no right to say no to the ponies who own this land. Who did so much for them. Suddenly their alarm that they made from the tech they had with them and the junk. It went off and Chance smirked grabbing his gun along with Jake. They armed them with strange ammo that they created through most of the junk they found.

"It seems we have a trespasser." Chance said with glee and rushed off to a pile of trash that turned out to be fake. So he could see through a scope. He saw three young fillies with shield cutie marks and he sighed. Going back outside of the small watch tower. "It's just three little ones."

Jake smiles and chuckled. "I bet it's those three cutie mark crusaders. Let's see how they learn how to ask to enter our home..." He clicked a button on his wrist and turrets came out of some of the trash and turned aiming at the three fillies.

"Um...girls....." Applebloom said, gulping. Then a speaker sounded. "What did we tell you three? Remember we told you three to ask before coming in here. Now, what do you three want?!" Chance sounded very upset..He didn't care much for the ponies of this world. But he was getting used to them.

"We....um...mister Chance...just...want to know...if....y...ou...would come to watch Sweetie belle sing. Tomorrow...." Scoots said, sounding like she was about to cry.

Jake sighed and clicked the button. Then grabbed the mic from Chance. "I will come I am not sure about Chance. He is very busy at the moment." Chance gave Jake an angry look. "Now.... you three leave, please. When we fully open..This place will be opened to all. So the grand opening will be in a day or so." They nodded, the turrets retracting and Chance huffed walking back inside their home. They made it so much like their old home. With a basement like before there under the ground. Was a half finished base like they used to have. Metal found from the world making the room. But most of it is not even done yet... There in the middle is the Turbo kat. He just started rebuilding it and went to sit on a chair.

He sat there thinking closing his eyes remembering the fame the glory.... They had back in their world. How would they get it here? Then he had an idea. He and Jake would be heroes again. But this time they would be honoured. Once again they would call themselves the Swat Kats. He grabbed a magic blow torch. It seemed to be created with the help of Twilight to harnish magic like fire. He grabbed wings he was creating and Jake came down smiling seeing this and started working himself on the ammo for the Turbo kat.

If evil ever rose in this land. They would be ready till they could find a way to be sent home. They would do what they can for these ponies. To protect them... To protect all of them this entire world.

Two days later

It may have been rushed but they got the turbo kat built again...They haven't slept at all. Then they both looked at each other and suited up. They knew they had to go meet the Princess in ponyville but they had to do this. They needed to fly again. They got into the jet. They didn't care if it would fall apart. But they needed to try. Outside the mane six were walking to the yard with the Princess. "I know you will like them, Celestia. But don't push too many questions on them... The one known as Chance is not very friendly." Celestia chuckled she was about to speak. But they saw the ground open up near them. Then suddenly the Turbo kat flew into the air... They watched awestruck.

The new Turbo kat made with the magic metal of this land. The jet engines created by Twilight herself to harness a magic fuel... That seems to be a core that would never empty. Chance was laughing and loving this. Of course, the jet wasn't armed yet. "All is looking good Chance... Now we should land." Jake said while clicking some of the screens.

"Alright..." Chance said sighing lowering the jet and the ponies watched them land on a strange platform and they were lowered by something. Then the door closed. Twilight looked very embarrassed and upset. Celestia on the other hoof. Looked interested in this and smiled. "Let's go meet them."

Rainbow Dash didn't speak at all her jaw was dropped, Rarity hummed. Fluttershy hid behind Applejack and Applejack didn't seem to care much for this new thing in their land.

This was new to all the ponies... They had no idea what to think of it. 
> Chapter Two: The Meeting.

"A meeting of souls from another world."

It's already been a few months since the two Kat's have been in this world. They kept to themselves and learning the lay of this land. They gathered what they could. Do remake their lives. But now it's time for them to meet the Princess of Equestria. But the thing is how would they handle it? These two have never been in the graces of Princess or even hero's. They tend to be the hero's themselves that always is something they are known to themselves It's how they see it. But it's just in their heads. The two Kat's have been through many parts of Equestria gathering all the junk they can. Chance and Jake have been getting to know all the ponies in Ponyville. But they keep to themselves but they go from place to place to gather whatever junk or trash the ponies have.

But now their meeting the leader's of this land for the very first time. Jake made sure to set the table and made both Princess cups of tea and he bowed to them. As they both sat in their chair's The large Alicorn Celestia spoke in her soft gentle voice. Her mane flowing as it did with its magic.

" I wish to welcome you to Equestria. I have been told that you're junk dealers. This is an interesting profession but. I got a real question. Tell me..what is that strange device that you flew in." She takes a sip from the cup.

" It's known as the Turbo Kat. We are from a city known as Mega kat City. A world that is full of creatures that are Kat's. We wanted to protect our Kat's way of life. But there is always a problem with this. Dark Kat showed back up after so many years of peace. He brought many of our foes to attack us. An undead wizard Kat. Who can control time itself? Somehow made a mistake and we ended up here. But I must say I'm honored to be here." Chance didn't say a word he just watched the main six and the princess of the night.

" But we will help you ponies. If you wish it." Jake gave a gentle smile. Celesta seemed to be thinking of all that was said. Sipping the cup of tea.

" If I may." Luna started speaking. " I would like to have our guard's study your Turbo kat. To make sure it won't be used on our ponies." Celestia looked over to Luna. Then back to the two.

" Yes, I do agree. I feel it would be wise to allow it to be studied so we can understand..What it would be used for." Chance balled his fist but kept calm.

"Alright, Maybe it might be wise to have Princess Twilight do it." Jake Offered. Luna and Celestia look to Twilight she has a large smile on her face.

" I would love to. But a question how did you build it the first time?"

Chance slowly spoke.

" After we got kicked out of the force. We took the name Swat Kat's. The Turbo Kat is used to fight whatever threat wishes to harm it. We will even.." He was cut off by a large bright white light and Discord floated there.

" Hmm..interesting Kat's with those so-called hands." He gave a creepy smile. Chance stood up fast and rushed to grab a gun and cocked it. Aiming at Discord.

" I heard...about you... The lord of Chaos...But you're also...good now." Jake calmly grabbed Chance’s arm pulling it down and sharked his head.

" We are guests in their world Chance. Relax please." Chance sits uncocking the gun placing it back in the holder.

" Forgive us Princess we come from a world that is normally at war with itself. But at times we show up to protect it. But it's not always easy. For we used to great evil's that tend to wish to harm." Jake said with a calm bow. Celestia and Luna looked towards the two and then they both stood up.

" We would like to speak to you both privately." Celestia turn's to the six and they walk out. Luna sets down her cup and walks up to the two.

" We could use your skills. But only if there is a threat to us. Are you willing to do such a thing?" Chance didn't say a word. But Jake rushed to the back and then came back with a strange device.

" You can contact us with this. If you need us. We will be there as fast as we can be. We will be willing to help you in any way we can." Jake gave a smile. Chance just snorted. As Discord still hovered there he didn't leave but he did begin to agree it seems.

" Yes, the girls may be the heroes. But they won't be able to fight every single threat." Discord landed down in front of them. Looking towards them sniffing them sensing the magic that was used on them and he backed up.

“Ah, Time magic such lovely use of magic. I’m sure this one who used it understands every use of it. I feel you will have to learn to trust me and others here.” He stayed silent for a moment before he spoke up again about something else.

" That type of magic is forbidden since. The time Starlight used it to try to destroy the time stream. But she has paid her dues."

Jake blinked He thought to himself I that type of magic is forbidden then why can it be used? " Forgive me Princess but if that type of magic is Forbidden why even have it in the first place?"

Twilight blinked she seemed upset at that but. Then she thought a moment. " You know that's true..if we have that type of magic why is it allowed to be made." She was deep in thought in this but then of course Luna spoke softly.

" Now I trust you two. My sister does as well. But know this if you do what you do to be heroes. then you will be welcomed to take on the villains that the friends here can't take on. I'm sure many will show up down the line. I do hope that you will be willing to fight them."

Chance sighed stroking his head. Jake nodded and bowed but Chance grew angry at this. But he didn't wish to upset the Princess but he would be blunt. He spoke.

" I understand but aren’t these six the heroes of the land? Wouldn't it be bad to allow others to take their glory for themselves? Even though yes we didn't do it for the glory. We did it to save our home from threats like Dark Kat." He sighed Luna smiled putting her wing on Changes shoulder.

" Don't worry sir Chance. I am sure you will get your due. I have seen your world. I do understand why You wish to go back. But I do understand the fear of that. " She shivers softly." Dark Kat. I do hope though that no minions of his followed you here."

Chance chuckled. " I highly doubt that any did. They won their mission we need to find a way back to them but also stop their plan from fulfilling. If only Miss Briggs was here." But something happens that he never expected the old device came to life."

" Chance... Jake." They both looked up and looked at the Device it hadn’t even worked since they put a battery in it. Chance picked it up.

" Miss Briggs?"

" OH thank Kats I found you. I am on this... the new world I don't know how I got here. But I ain't alone."

" Thatssss right...Kat's., Or Should I say Chance and Jake." The voice Hissed.

" Dr. Viper?!" Then another laugh sounded

"Oh, I am sorry I was just playing around." Discord chuckled. " But It seems that Miss Brigg's found her way here. Now I would say that this meeting shouldn't be cut short. But there is something else. I doubt that is real. It seems to be an old ghost."

Chance looked at the device and spoke again. " Briggs?"

" Kat's They have taken over...." Then it went silent and fuzzed.

" It looks that this device still is linked to your universe in some way. But It looks like it will open the universe for a short time. She is not in this world..." Luna calmly said. " But the magic that was used was so unstable their ghosting to our world just for a time. You might be able to talk to them. But I doubt it would do much good."

T-Bone frowned a world of magic he thought linked to their magic. That is not a good thing after what he read. So if they found a way to ghost to their universe just for a time. They could show their alive. But what good would it do? They would need to find a way to go back in time to stop all this.

" It's hard I know darlings. But I could make you some clothing for the Gala coming up. Would that make you happy." The two Kat's smiled Chance nodded and Jake laughed.

" A gala we never got welcomed to anything before. This is so amazing." The skinnier Kat cheered.

" Good I will come back later for your measurements. Now if I may I am going to take my leave. I got some things to do back at home." Rarity walked out of the underground room with Rainbow Dash not far behind her but she looked at the two Kat's.

" I don't trust you two. But maybe I will change my mind once I see you two in action." She said with a cocky grin and flew out. Fluttershy of course came up and gave them both gentle hugs.

" I hope...You find your way back.." She spoke softly bowing her head to them leaving as well. Pinkie of course was hopping around laughing.

" I will throw a welcome to Equestria party for you two." She said giggling and then jumped out of the world? It seemed she just went into the darkness and never showed back up and the two Kat's blinked shrugging.

" Now my little Kat's." Celestia blinked at the blushing. " Ahem, I mean Chance and Jake. I am willing to allow you to help protect or the world. But You don’t without showing who your true self is can you do that?"

Chance nodded. " We had to do that at home anyway no one knew who we were. But miss Briggs she was there for us the entire time. But of course, they always hated us I hope they don't hate us here. It would be heartbreaking I kind of like how peaceful this land is."

" Oh but I am sorry to say it's not always this peaceful."

Chance sighed again Jake looked to the others and nodded drinking from the cup of tea. " Now we will get ready and make sure we can help any way we can." He said with a grin. But he seemed to be worried about something and then looks at Celestia.

" Listen princess I am sorry to ask. But is there any way we could find fuel or something for Kat's? I know that's a hard thing to ask., But do you think the only thing that would work is magic?"

" I could ask Star Swirl about this. Since his return, he has been a big help with many things. I am sure he would be happy to help you."

Luna gave a nod at that. " My sister is right. He may be willing to help. But I wouldn't be wise to just pressure him into it. he is not one to just help off the bat."

" I understand I would be happy to meet him. I find it odd that we returned here soon after his return from Limbo. I do hope he has done well at getting used to this new land he’s in now. " Jake said.

" Its taking time like with me. I was trapped on the moon for 1000 years so it's going to be hard for any pony to become used to it. But I am sure for being our old teacher he will have an easier time then most ponies would."

Celestia gave a nod sipping the tea gently. As she looked to the two Kat's again. "Now I wish to know about your world. I am sure Discord here wishes to know as well."

" Oh yes, I do...Sorry I was checking out that beautiful device you both fly. Its called the Turbo kat right? Oh, what an amazing device. I do hope ti will be used with respect and hope in the long run." he said with a grin.

" Yes,” Chance said. " We will make sure we use it right and wisely. Now I hope this Ghosting doesn't happen here. I don't want them to see that we’re still alive. They might think that was a past response maybe. It sounded like that." Chance looked at the device that now turned off for some reason. Maybe it was a way back home. That they never knew about but he wasn't going to force himself to find that out.

Jake went sighed and tried to think of a way to explain themselves. He thought a moment. " Well, Princess I will do what I can to make it easier for Star Swirl to understand us but let’s see our world. Ah yes."

" Our world is a wonderful world It's full of just one race Kat's. Now we don't know how that happens well some do. But our time is always full of crime and sometimes death. Jake and I wanted to join the enforcers. But thanks to some mistakes we crashed a plane into the HQ and they tossed us out."

Jake sighed. " That was my fault I was meant to be a bigger help then I was. But It's what happens. of course, we had to find a job somehow. So we became junkers. But we found parts for the Turbo kat in our own junkyard. So having an idea we gave ourselves."

The two Kat's started to change into their outfits. Of the blue and red then putting the mask on. " The Swat Kats." They both said.

" But still it wasn't easy for us to do this. Commander Feral hated us helping so he thought of us as a threat as well. So that's the sad thing." He said sighing.

The two Princess stood up and smiled. " Now we must get back to our work. Thank you for letting us meet you two." They nodded to the Princess. They walked off the two Kat's felt this went well. But Chance sighed.

" This world is too peaceful to be in a problem."

Another world.

A large goat-like creature with blue fur stood at a table with many different villans. A group of flowers. That looked like they sucked up all kinds of soil. A large cloud-like creature. A woman that are very old. A green man with a talking wand. A squid and a shrimp and then the last but not least villain a pig. She looked into a mirror.

" Oh you look so beautiful she said to herself."

" Now that I brought you here.." The goat said in a deep voice. " it's now time to get ready to take over this land. Like we did to dream valley." He said with a grin.

The pig lowers the mirror from her face. 

“Oh, many have said it’s time to go for this land. But unlike dream valley, the magic is stronger here. We will need to find a way to weaken the land. I doubt we can get Terrek out.”

The Goat gave a nod. “It’s not going to be easy I understand this but we need to work together. That means forcing the other villains of this very land to work with us. If they don’t then they become our slaves for fodder.”

The cloud sat near his zebra friend. That held a strange satchel the poor cloud looked very weak and hungry.

“As long as I can eat their shadows when everything is said and done. Without the Flutter ponies to stop us we will win this time.”

“Then it’s settled Beezen you know what to do.”

Beezen smiles. “Ah yes, the local shop owner selling magic paint. How delightful.”

“Now we wait till Beezen does his job then the next move.”

> Chapter Three: The invasion arc one

A month has passed since the two kats found themselves in this new world. Chance stayed to himself since he refused to make friends. He spent most of his time at the junkyard ignoring all the ponies that came to see him. Even in his dreams, he started to ignore Luna. Every time she showed up he wouldn’t speak to her.

It all came to a head one day though. Jake walked into the large house made of junk that they made. It’s been very long since they did anything to be heroes. He looked around for Chance this is the moment he could think of.

“Chance the festival of friendship is starting.” He looks around for the one that he worked with all these years. “Chance?” He followed a path of empty bottles and finally, he found his friend drunk.

“Oh, Jake...come in.. This is all we have left!!” Jake’s eyes full of pure sadness while he watched his friend fall and fall more. Jake sat beside his friend while Chance offered a bottle of cider to his friend.

“Chance we.” He stares at the cider and feeling the same homesickness as his friend is. He grabs the cider and drinks from it. The two friends drink their sorrows away. They miss their home and everything that came along with it. 

“I am sorry...Jake, I just can’t handle this land. The ponies are far too kind. I need something bad to happen. I need to feel the rush of being a hero again. The rush of the glory and all the glory I can be given. This land already has its own heroes and it’s starting to show.”

Jake shook his head sighing sipping from the cider. 

“I never focused on that Chance. I always focused on the fact that we helped Megakat city. Now I know how you feel about being stuck here. But we could learn much about the peace and friendship of this world.”

Chance tosses the empty bottle of cider at the wall. It shatters all over Chance opens up another and sighs. 

“I can barely get drunk on this stuff. They don’t even have the hard stuff in this world.” Before they could drink anymore. The alarm for their security goes off and they hear their turrets firing at something.

“Oh no.” Jake quickly heads to the basement to check their security. But instead of seeing ponies getting attack, He sees a large army invading ponyvill and looking at large zeppelins in the sky.

Jake quickly hits the suit up alarm and Chance quickly comes down the stairs even if he is a bit drunk. He is not allowing it to stop him from getting ready. Hard rock music plays inside and outside confusing the invading army.

“Come on Jake.” Chance grabs his blaster weapon. Jake grabs his arm and shakes his head.

“We don’t know what is going on so don’t kill anyone. It’s best to make sure we aren’t on the wrong side here.” Chance shook his head.

“No Jake I feel we need to go all out on this army. Like you told me these are peaceful creatures. So I think we need to take the Turbokat and see what we can take out.” Jake looks back at the screen. He took a deep breath unsure of what to do.

“Chance I am not sure we should do anything. But these ponies welcomed us into their world. Maybe it’s time to show them what we can do.” One of the guns defending the junkyard is quickly destroyed.

“Before we even think of taking off Jake. We should do with the ones in the town and get the ponies out into the woods.” They both nod getting on their bikes and charge right out. Their weapons are set to stun. Firing on those they can while they try to use their shields to block what they think is magic. The energy blast breaks right through the shields and their armor burning into the hide of some of them.

“Chance keep them alive!!” Chance turned his back staring at Jake. 

“Now is not the time to keep.” Before he could finish a large storm creature came up behind him and smacked him away. Causing Chance to quickly get back on his feet and charge quickly at him. Using his fist and legs. The creature tries it’s best to fight off Chance. Chance quickly grabs a knife from his boot and with one swoop swipes killing the creature.

“These creatures aren’t peaceful Jake. We need to save the ponies.” Jake sighed and nodded arming his gun to kill and along with Chance did what they could to get all the ponies that haven’t been caged out of the city.

After a while, the two kats did all they could. More and more kept coming. They couldn’t do anymore without ponies getting hurt now. Jake and Chance finally did what they had to do. They had to escape and it wasn’t going to be easy. The bikes they came out on had been destroyed. 

They went from house to house hiding from the troops and found a basement in one of them and hide out there a group of ponies had been there the entire time. But they didn’t leave themselves and the army left most houses alone and went after those outsides.

“There are too many of them Jake and I doubt we could get to the Turbokat. There are too many it would. Take too much to go.” Jake smiled weakly their suits have been ripped and their guns are now discarded to getaway.

“We have to do something Chance. We can’t just stay here and wait. I think something happened to Twilight and her friends” 

Outside of the house, they're hiding in there is screaming and the sounds of orders in another tongue. Chance and Jake look at the ponies. Jake takes a deep breath and smiles weakly at his old friend. Jake grabs an old chair and nods to Chance.

"I will free you Jake." Jake runs up out of the basement screaming to scare the storm minions off and they chase after him. Chance nods to the ponies that are left and they run out of the basement. He watches them run towards the everfree forest. Chance walks out of the basement but before he could leave. Sometehing hits him in the back of the head and he blacks out falling to the ground.

Will the Swat Kats ever make it home?! Will they be able to stop the invasion of the storm king? Find out next time next chapter of the Swat Kats.
> Chapter Four: A small force arc one

Chance opens his eyes he groans sitting up in a strange bed. He noticed he is down in the bunker he and Jake created. He gets out of the bed and when he goes out to the living area of the bunker. He sees many ponies so many of them are crying and scared. He only sees one guard from Cantorlot the poor guard is not even wearing all his armor.

“Is that all the ponies you could find?!”

A mare that Chance never got the name of stares at the guard. Her eyes showing the anger she has for him. Her horn glowing brightly about to smack the guard. Another mare comes to stop her.

“Trixie it’s okay we couldn’t get the others..”

Trixie takes a deep breath to relax her magic. She lifts her head to see Chance. She tilts her horn to Chance.

“OH, you’re awake.”

Chance strokes his head, he is not happy to see the ponies in the bunker. He wanted to try to kick them out because he had no reason to protect them.

“Listen why are you ponies here before I force you out of here? I have no respect for your species. I doubt you would ever be ready for a battle and all you do is talk about the magic of friendship. With that type of thinking it can’t win you a battle.”

The one is known as Starlight he did get the name of her. He was told a lot about her by Jake. His eyes open wide he quickly looked around the entire bunker screaming the name of his friend.

“Jake!!!”

After looking around the bunker even in the turbo kat itself he didn’t even find Jake. He groans and grabs the shoulders of Starlight.

“Have you seen my friend?”

Starlight stares at Chance like she has no idea what he is talking about. Then she realizes a deep gasp comes out of her mouth. She tries to speak to Chance with a soft gentle voice. At least gentle enough to make sure he doesn’t get upset

“Jake risked his freedom and life to rescue all the ponies you see here. He knew he wouldn’t be able to get them all. He even saved you after one of those creatures smacked you in the back of the head. He told us to bring you down here and he went off in that strange machine and we never saw him again.”
Chance hates these ponies but deep in his mind, he knows he has to work with them. He looks at the gear and weapons that he and Jake created with the magic of this land. He looks to the ponies 

“I know I am going to hate myself for asking this. Are any of you willing to help me go into the town and try to rescue other ponies and Jake? Now I need you to understand if you join me with this. It won’t be as simple as giving them hugs and then giving them cupcakes. There is no way they will accept those. We will either have to beat them down or kill them.”

When Chance saids the word kill many ponies gasp holding their hooves to their mouths. The only one that didn’t gasp at the word kill is Starlight. She stood fully upon her hooves he heard about her how she used to be an evil ponies. 

“I will come. I may have done many awful things in my past. But to move on and fight for ponyvile if I have to.”

Chance watches as two more ponies come up to become part of a small force.

“I am Trixie I will always work with my friend.”

The blue unicorn removes her magic hat bowing her head. 

“Just my question to you I thought all of you were at that friendship thing. How did you all end up here?”

Starlight chuckles weakly.

“Uh well a lot of us started running after we saw what happen how we got here so quickly though that was my doing. Not all the ponies here went to Cantorlot. Heh heh...Just what do we need to do to get ready?”

Chance sighs stroking his head. This is going to be hard but he has to train these ponies. Looking at Trixie Starlight and the guard he hasn’t got a name for yet. Just three of him meaning it will just be four. A small force is the only way to try to break through the lines.

“Listen I have no idea how we are going to do this. But I need to train you. I can’t do that much training for you. So you would have to wing it.”

The three ponies look at each other.

“Well, there is one way you could train us to make it fun. Why not sing?”


Chance stares at Starlight like she is crazy. Why in the world would he sing? But Jake told him not too long ago. When the ponies sing it allows them to do amazing things. It keeps them from getting bored.

“Fine. I guess.”  

He looks through his memory of a good training song. Then it hit him he goes to his boom box. He turns it on. Heavy rock music plays and it’s the music that has no singing.

“So you wish. To learn to fight. So you wish to learn to do battle to protect those around youuu.”

Chance sang.

“Take a weapon get some armor.”

Chance puts on a heavy armor meant for him and grabbing one of his guns. The two mares Trixie and Starlight do the same the guard pony uses his guard armor floating the gun in his magic.

“Remember that battle is always bloody. Remember that there is no right way to win!. Fight fight fight fight!!”

Starlight and Trixie fire at targets and do as much heavy training as they can. The two mares fire at many targets working in unison firing at the targets in sync. While the guard fires with great targeting blasting a large hole through one of the targets.

“Train train train. Never allow yourselves to fail. If you fail you might be dead!! Let the blood flow let your hearts beat.”

Trixie laughs.

“ I have always been jealous of the princess Twilight Sparkle. I have always wanted to one-up her. But now I do not need that. She is now my friend!!! I shall help her fight for this town. I shall do what I can!!”

Trixie’s singing voice was pretty impressive Chance thought to himself. But now it’s time for more training. They all start singing together.

“Become stronger to protect our land. To protect our friends. It’s time to fight it’s time to fight.”

Finally, it wasn’t much of a training session but Chance could only do so much. They come out of the training room after four hours of training. It was all the time they had without using an entire month to train. They don’t have enough time since no one has heard from the protectors those mares those powerful mares.

“Come my friends… Lets fight… Let’s do what we can… To win..”

The song ends and the four head up to get ready to battle. The ponies below cheer them on and when they leave the bunker door closes.

A small force has been formed. Can this small force help ponyvile and Jake? Tune in next time same kat story same Kat chapter.
> Chapter Five: Rescue mission arc one
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chance wrote in his journal to keep his mind relaxed. After the little training, he gave the ponies even the ones that wouldn’t be coming along with him. He needs to keep himself sane and stop himself from losing his mind and worry too much about his friend. 

‘I have been keeping this journal for many days I have been here. These ponies I don’t know what to think of them. They seem to have ways to defend themselves just sometimes they seem to easily lose. They focus too much on their princess and what happened to them if this is allowed to happen. It’s been about two to three days since it all happened. I haven’t seen Jake since then I do hope he is alright.”

After a while one of the scout ponies that he gave what he could to sneak and not be seen comes back she is covered in sweat and drinks from a bottle of water they filed recently. Chance looks over at her.

“Hey Flow what did you see?”

Flow the orange unicorn sets down a map she tried to make putting it down around all the ponies and Chance. Chance stares down at it.

“Most of the town is burning and I could see many cages in one of the bigger buildings. I am not even normally from this town and here I am caring about it. Anyway, I haven’t found your friend but I have heard from a pony I was able to talk to that some cat has been causing problems up there.”

Chance relaxes a bit that means Jake is still alright and causing some problems he relaxes a bit and shifts looking at the ones he picked for his team.

“We will be heading out soon to see if we can rescue anyone. Just don’t get too cocky we need to make sure they never return here.”

Starlight quickly nods she didn’t care for her makeshift armor. She didn’t complain though as she held the blaster in her magic. Trixie didn’t argue with Chance she tried but he put her in her place. It was a sight to see all he did was insult her only way a kat can. The guard whose name is Bulwark. They get everything ready even their rations just in case.

“Now we will be going up there one hour if we find nothing we will return. We won’t make mistakes and we will stay together. Just be prepared we may have to kill the enemy up there. You three can’t back out on me and your friendship won’t save you now.”

Starlight eyes shrink to pinpricks her ears pinned to the back of her head. Trixie kind of had the same reaction but Bulwark quickly nods.

“You’re correct Chance. Friendship won’t save us now we have to do what you said we will have to put them down. We can no longer just sit back and wait for the heroes of our land to come and save us.”

Chance sighs deeply thankfully he and Jake may have been heroes in his world but they still fought back and did not expect a group of six mares to fight for them. Chance had issues with the fact that the ponies just sat back and let six ponies fight for them. How are they ever going to fight another invasion if they survive this one.

Chance looks to a mare nodding as she places on a strange armor that has a lot of cans on it. She quickly runs out of the bunker heading up to the surface and the four follow after her. Chance and his soldiers at least in his mind. He watches the strange creatures chase after the quick mare she is very fast on her hooves. No wonder they call her Whizzer.

“Okay Trixie, Starlight stick behind me Bulwark stands beside me, and please no talking alright?” 

Starlight and Trixie follow behind Chance and Bulwark. The four slowly sneak away from the dump to try to get into town. Chance holds his gun tightly in his claws looking around as they get away from the dump. They don’t see any cages but more and more of the creatures. But some of them are already dead. 

“Wait someone has already been here. It could be Jake come let’s follow the bodies.”

Chance and the three ponies follow the blood into one of the buildings. He turns to the others behind him with his hand he tells them to stop. As he hears screaming in one of the rooms and when he opens it he sees two robotic creatures. His eyes open wide as he sees them. On a bed beside them is Jake he looks badly beaten.

The two robots turn to look at him. The female lifts her hand and smirks she laughs softly as the large male robot is sitting beside Jake and is wrapping a cast around him. The male looks up smirking.

The horror in Chances eyes as he sees the most hated of the villains from his world. The Metallkats and he lifts his gun as he is ready to fire. The female robot kat shoots the gun out of his hand with her hand blaster and she turns her hand back and the male stands up putting his hands up just to show he is not going to harm Jake. Jake looks badly hurt on the bed and the two look to be defending him.

The ponies come in screaming as a group of Storm King minions rush in to try to harm them and they fire at the Storm King minions they're in a heavy panic as Chance quickly picks up his Gun and fires on the Storm King minions and Mac and Molly join in using their weapons to fire on them. Chance turns his eyes to look at them Mac turns his eye to stare at Chance. They don't trust each other. 

The last of the troops fall from the blast and the three stand aiming their weapons at each other. The ponies look at the group of Kats ready to fire on each other. There is nothing but hatred in the eyes of both. Chance looks back to Jake who has been badly beaten and Chance growls.

"What did you do to him?!"

Mac Smirks.

"We saved his life."

Jake opens his eyes groaning Chance running to Jake's side holding his hand tightly. The weak kat opens his eye one of his eyes is covered from being badly beaten

"Chance... They saved me..."

He passes out from the pain as Chance stands up staring at the two metal kats. His fear has come to pass. The Swat Kats enemies have found a way into this peaceful world.

It took a while for Chance and the others to get back to the junkyard. Molly and Mac took out everything they could while Chance carries Jake. The three ponies Trixie, Starlight, and Bulwark do the best they can to work with the two robots.

“Behind you Mac behind you!!”

Molly yells for Mac and Mac turns around his hand turning into a knife and stabs the Storm King minion in the gut. He stabs the knife several times and the Storm King groans in pain. The creature collapses from the loss of blood and holding both hands to hold the wound. He lifts his head hearing the cock of a gun. He stares right into the barrel of Mac’s gunarm. Starlights magic forms around the gun and pulls the arm away.

“What are you doing?!”

Mac growls staring at Starlight the rage in his robotic eyes. But all he sees in her eyes are the eyes of a young mare wanting to save a life even if the life has tried to harm them. He has seen these eyes so many times in the past. It normally never hits him and he normally never cares. But those eyes of someone who has killed before.

“If he doesn’t get help from the others. He will die there is no need to murder him.”

Mac stares at the pony. Molly is firing her gun and each bullet draws blood. She laughs loudly and her gun shifts to a rocket launcher now, of course, they’re running out of ammo quickly and it’s going to be hard for them to get more ammo. 

Molly fires the rocket she stares at a strange cloaked minion of the storm king casts a spell the magic wraps around the rocket stopping it in the air. The rocket twist turning back at Molly the mage screams from the pain of the spell. Molly is confused at all this a magic aura forms around her. Bulwark pulls Molly away from the spell and before the rocket hits anything Trixie uses her spell to make the rocket form in the air and blow up.

“Come on!!!”

Chance yells the Metallikats and the ponies run into the junkyard and Chance clicks the button hoping there is enough magic power in the core. A security system turns on and guns fire a strange weapon at the Storm king minions when the bullets hit a strange foam surrounds them and keeps them in place while the group finally gets back into the hideout.

Chance makes sure everyone gets inside and he closes the sealed door and they hear above the Storm King minions destroying the home the Swat kats created above and soon after they hear them leaving. Chance puts Jake in a bed and covers him up and he turns to look at the two robotic cats. They have their guns aimed at Chance.

“So are you going to finish the job that Dark Kat brought you back for? Did you come here to make sure running our lives is done? Come on then kill me and Jake show me who you really are show me!!

Mac gets ready to fire and Molly pushes down his gun and shakes her head. Mac turns his gun back into a hand and he sighs looking at his wife a weak smile forming on his robotic face. The two have been a spur in the swat kats butts for years and now they’re here and Chance is worried for the ponies.

“To tell you the truth Chance… We aren’t here because we want to finish the job. Mac and I were going to be shut down again and Dark Kat was going to kill everyone else and control the world without us. So we asked the Past Master to send us where ever he sent you. We have been in this world just as long as you have. We were shut down for a while and a zebra found a way to turn us back on and she told us of this world.”

Molly nods

“Yes her name is Zecora she found us broken and rusted in the forest called ever-free. She was scared of us first but she explained this land to us and told us about you. She asked us to stay around her home till she could get the ponies to welcome us. But then she didn’t come back. So Mac and I went into town and we saw Jake being carried into a house and we had to save him.”

Chance stares at the two robots.

“I will never trust you two. The ponies may trust you but they trust anything and are too brain dead to know a villian is always a villain.”

Starlight gasps tears stream down her face. Chance stares at her he doesn’t care that he just hurt her feelings. Chance has always been this way he will learn someday hopefully to never be this way but he doesn’t understand why she is crying. She trots away tears stream down her face Trixie stares up at Chance anger on her face chasing after Starlight.

“What did I say?”

Bulwark sighs.

“Chance Trixie and Starlight are former villains themselves. Even to many ponies, they haven’t done much to be forgiven for their actions but they’re trying. You just proved to Starlight she will never be able to get away from it.”

Chance turns his head to look at Mac and Molly taking a deep breath and blows the air out looking back to where Starlight ran. He then feels bad he hasn’t been acting very kind to the ponies since he has been here. Jake keeps trying to get him to make friends. 

“Look Chance Molly and I know you don’t trust us. We have done some awful things to the kats that even tried helping us. Like the one that put our brains in these robot bodies. We even wanted to betray Zecora. But she saved Molly and me from a Hydra we tried using our weapons on it. It didn’t work she used her spells to save us and I know we don’t have the right. But we want to change. Then stay here for the rest of our lives.”

Chance stares at the two robots. He found it odd that they want to stay in this world of ponies. He looks to where Starlight and Trixie went then back to the two robotic kats. He sighs shaking his head.

“My question is why don’t you want to return to our world and reform there?”

Molly laughs softly.

“It’s because even if we try reforming whoever replaces Feral will be just as harsh as him and never give us a moment’s peace. I feel though you need to go speak to that pony that ran off. I won’t be heartbroken or the sense if you don’t trust Mac and me I but you can at least talk to her.”

Chance groans and before he goes to find Starlight Jake reaches up grabbing his arm and he looks down at his friend. The beds aren’t really in any good places for privacy so he leans down to talk to Jake.

“You need. To trust Chance. You need to allow your heart to trust.” 

Chance sighs.

“Please keep an eye on Jake if that is the first step of trust. Then I will trust you to do that but you have to prove to me that you can change if you do anything. I will take you down myself.”

Mac and Molly look at each other.

“If we even think about doing anything. We will do what Zecora told us to do think and think of how this world would see us. Because in her words the ponies don’t trust something that they can’t control.”

Chance didn’t understand those words. Ponies don’t trust something they can’t control? He shifts a bit, not like those words. He goes off into the next room finding Trixie and Starlight talking. Trixie stands up looking at Chance her eyelids lower just a bit to stare at the cat.

“Are you here to make her feel worse?”

Chance sighs.

“No, I would like to speak to her Trixie, please.”

Trixie looks at Starlight and Starlight doesn’t even argue and Trixie leaves but turns around before she goes out the door.

“If I hear her crying I will make you regret it Chance. Now be a good kitty and purr or cuddle or something.”

Trixie leaves and Chance just rolls his eyes. He sits beside the sad mare and doesn’t know what to say.

“Before you ask Chance. Yes, I was a former villain I did some very awful things. I even tried to destroy Twilight and her friends to get back at them. I enslaved a village in the name of peace and trying to force everyone to be the same. Twilight and her friends destroyed that. I went in a rage trying to destroy their lives. I even used time magic to try. I still feel they forgave me too easily. Because I feel sooner or later they will just turn on me.”

Chance takes a deep breath sighing looking down.

“I am sorry Starlight I am sure you have tried to move on from that life. I am sure you have a good reason for becoming the villain and feeling that you had to. I know I shouldn't have said those words I said to you. But Jake has always been far too trusting and Mac and Molly have caused so many issues in the past. But from what I see they’re serious about it. 

Starlight doesn’t say much of anything she just quickly hugs Chance crying softly. Chance doesn’t know how to act but he holds her close to him and lets her let it all out. He feels bad for how he acted. He looks up seeing Molly and Mac. To him, it will take him for him to even trust them. But if they are serious about wanting to reform. Then he can’t stop them he just holds the mare letting her sob.

It’s been a day since Chance brought Jake and the two metal kats back to the bunker. Chance has been doing his best to train other ponies. Mac and Molly have been doing scout parties. They even bring back supplies like food, water, and whatever else they can use.

“Starlight we couldn’t find everything for your spell but we found some of it.”

Mac sets down a bag of spell ingredients. Starlight opens the bag looking through everything. Dumbing everything to the floor tilting her head. She sighs, shaking her head looking back up at Mac.

“We have almost everything, we just need a herb that is normally found in the ever-free I am sure you saw Zecora using some of it for her brews.”

Molly heads back to the stairs.

“I can get it. Oh, and before I go, Chance. We found some caged ponies in the school”

Chance looks at the map of ponyville putting a pin in the map of many areas they have gone to. They couldn’t bring any ponies back of course. Since there is only one of them that has the key. He strokes his chin.

“We need to find the holder of the key. The bigger issue is how do we keep them from calling for more help?”

Starlight chuckles.

“Let me handle that. This spell is a spell I learned during my time as an evil mare. So the spell will cast a magic canceling spell for everything around it. Including me and the others. It will make it harder for us to help you but we need to do this.”

Molly nods going up the stairs.

Molly’s eyes

I walk back up into this lovely world. When I get into the junkyard I hear a patrol. They have been looking all over here ever since we did what we did. It’s strange to me that I love this world. I wish that Chance would trust me. I don’t blame him for not trusting me. I can understand perfectly why he’s not.

I remember what pushed us to become this. We just escaped Alkatraz.

I was rowing and we ripped off our tags from our prison numbers. I remember I was the only one rowing. It wasn’t a pleasant experience since that stupid Mac refused to help me but just shoot his mouth off.

“First KatScratch.”

Why would we could for him first? It confused me I had many things to think about during this time while I was rowing this silly boat.

“What about money?” I grunted while rowing “And Transportation?”

“Okay okay, first the bank then Katscratch.”

I growl trying so hard to row this stupid little boat.

“We would get there faster if you would help me” Grunt “Row 

We heard a sudden foghorn or a strange horn in the fog.

“Quiet I hear something.”

I chuckle.

“What da ya hear?”

Mac turns his head around looking for where the sound is coming from.

“I don’t know, I can’t see anything in this soup.”

All of a sudden our boat gets smashed to bits by a large ship. I don’t remember much, just I remember what I felt lost. I think it's close to death. I felt my body on cold heavy sand. I don’t know if I was even alive at this time. 

I remember waking up in a strange lab. Looking around and looking at my hands. I couldn’t understand what in the world was going on.

“I’m still alive. What is wrong with my body? Mac?” 

I look around hearing strange wiring sounds as I move my head. I still felt a bit strange and a little odd at the same time. I had no idea what was going on. I tried so hard to find Mac. It just bothered me so much.

“Mac, where are you?” 
I twist my head around looking for him. Now that upsets me but why do I feel like I am in a metal body? 

“Right here Molly”

I then heard another metallic voice other than my own. I see Mac holding a strange mask that looks like his head. My head is fully turned around and a robotic gasp comes from my mouth. I had no idea what was going on.

“Mac? We're all silvery and weird. What happened to us?”

The panic started to come over me. I tried my best not to lose my temper or whatever happened here it just really wasn’t easy.

“I don’t know. But I am going to wring the neck of the guy who did this to us.”

Now since Mac was upset I was getting upset. I didn’t feel like showing it since I am sure he was angry with the two of us. Just I wish back at the time we thought through more than wanting to kill. I think I have been in the good graces of Zecora for too long. Then I remember him as a good ole soul.

A very old voice spoke out.

“That would be my neck young fellow.”

The old kat walked up to us leaning on his cane with a sweet smile on his old face. I don’t know why back then that smile pissed me off.

“I think the masks are good likeness. Eventually, I will create full-body suits for you to wear. No sense scaring everybody. Every time you go into public.”

I took off my Mask. I didn’t know what to think of this old man. Just after my time with the zebra. I am starting to understand what she meant. He was being kind to us he gave us new life. Even if this life would be hard for some to enjoy.

“Who are you?”

“Why did you do this to us?”

I sounded angry we both did but how would others feel I wonder if they woke up in bodies like ours. I don’t wish this on any of the ponies I met so far. A lot of them are friends with me already. A sudden realization hit me hard. I just said friends, does that mean I am going soft? Maybe it’s wise for Mac and me to go soft.
“My name is Professor Hackle when my robots found you. Your bodies were destroyed. The only way to save you was to plant your minds inside my robots.”

A sudden revelation hit me during that time. I was dead or my body was. I would never see my beauty again. But I was alive, maybe that is enough. Still, this is Mac, and I would let this slide even if it’s just us? 

“Where robots? You turned us into tin cans?!”

The professor nods that he was a nice Kat. Still, though my anger couldn’t know any bounds. I wish I thought differently then. But back during this time hate and only want of money and evil took my soul. Do I even have a soul anymore?

“I know this is a shock. But every way you are faster and stronger. The only difference now is that your bodies are steel instead of flesh.”

A sudden fear came over me.

“We still got our brains right?”

“I transferred your memories onto a hard disk.”

I wanted to lose it even more now. All I am now is just data on some disk? But still, I regret o what I did to the poor kat. He didn’t deserve it at all. It might be best if we talk to Zecora about this when we see her again. Maybe even one of the ponies could help Mac and me.

“Mac I don’t like this.”

I turn my head to look at Mac unsure what to think.

“I don’t know, I think I could get to like this. I never felt so powerful. Like I could rip apart this whole town with my bare claws.”

A smile crept on my new metal face. He was right, we had the power to do all this. We had the right to do all this. This city belonged to us. It didn’t belong to Feral and his enforcers or that dumb Mayor Manx

“Indeed you could, my boy. But fate has delivered you to me for another reason.”

We follow him and he turns on a light. There are so many weapons all over the table. We had no idea this nice homely kat did all this. It did worry me at first but my lust for power too over then my want for peace was never there, to begin with.

“My whole life I have made such weapons of destruction for the military.  Laser weapons, rockets, even bombs. However, now I have turned to my efforts of contributing to kat kind. That’s why you two are so important. As soon as you both are healed I will present you both to the scientific academy. Imagen the great minds that could be saved in the form of brain transfer and history will forgive me. Goodnight children sleep well.”

The doctor left us alone and when he did I thought awhile before I did anything but Mac turned the light on quickly.

“Imagen leaving us alone to swipe all this loot”

“Ha yeah, what a sucker.”

Mac went to get the weapons while I found transportation.

“Hey, Mac look at this.:”

“Kats alive transportation. Let’s go to town”

I come out of the memory finally thankfully my sensors didn’t warn me of any creatures in my way. I went into the forest to hunt for the herb I was asked to get. I remember Zecora showing us this herb. She told us it’s not only used for brews that she used on us to keep us from attracting creatures that like shiny things. It was also used to cure sickness and from other things, she said used for some spells.

I finally found my way to the hut again. Looking at the hut in the tree I went inside to look through her herbs. But I wasn’t alone. My hand turned into a gun and I went around a corner seeing a little filly. Her poor mother was wounded. The filly looks scared of me. I shift my gun back to my hand.

“Shhh, it’s okay. I am here to help you and to find something. I am looking for a herb unicorns can use in spells.”

The filly didn’t say much I could tell she was mute. If I had a heart I would be crying right now. But she used her magic to lift over a bag full of many veggies and herbs. Including the one, I was looking for.

“Can you walk?”

The little one shakes her head. One of her legs is very bent up like it was broken a few days ago. I lift the bag including the filly and the other. I knew I was a big target if I was seen. I don't like this and I wish I could talk to them on the radio but they don’t work here.

“If I have to set you down you will stay with your mother won’t you?”
The filly nods and I hold onto them as tightly as I can. With all my force of might that my legs could carry. I shift quickly to a fast speed that I could go. My legs haven’t been oiled very well since I have been here. 

It took me about 10 minutes to get back into town. When I got back into two holding the mare and the bag. I didn’t know what would happen but things were too silent. I didn’t like this. I heard a spear fly right past me. It jabbed into the street beside me and I saw many of the Storm King's minions coming right for me. I sent down the two ponies as well as the bag.

I didn’t know it at the time but the poor mare wasn’t doing too well. I was too blind to see that right now but I swear I could feel a heartbeat. At least I could hear her breathing. My shoulders open up and I turn my hands to guns firing all I have at least enough to take out what I can. But more kept coming. I knew if I didn’t do anything soon I would run out of ammo.

My hands click and one of the storm king minions and I tussle with our hands. I was losing power, it wasn’t going to be easy. I heard a blast and many other guns going off.

“Molly hurry!!”

Mac yells. I drop the dead creature looking at the ponies we trained in a day and Chance with a wounded Jake in a wheelchair firing on what they could. I pick up the mare, the filly, and the bag again running towards them as they all make it back. Mac helps Jake back into the underground and we close it up before they find us again.

I sigh and give the filly and mare to Jake and Chance. I put the bag down in front of Starlight with a smile on my metal face.

“I hope there is enough.”

Starlight nodded but something worried me. When Jake and Chance lay the mare on a cot they look down at her like she doesn’t have long for this world. I walk to them watching the filly try to wake her mother.

“Is she okay?’

Jake looks up at me, his eyes full of sadness. Chance puts his hat on his chest, tears streaming down his face. I look at the little filly. It hit me that she was going to watch her mother die. She is so young that is not fair! I heard soft breathing and she could reach her hoof out to me. I hold it tightly leaning to listen to her.

“I am not long for this world.”

Mac comes over as well to listen.
“Please take care of my little Muse. Please…”

The pleading eyes made me want to cry. I looked at Mac and he didn’t say a word. He looked down at the little filly and all he could do was pick her up and she knew oh did she know. She had soft pathetic voiceless sobs come from her mouth.

“Shhh it’s okay I got you.”

“Why me though?”

The mare weakly smiles.

“I see a good heart in you. Even if..you’re a metal creature. Please oh please.”

I look at Chance and Jake. Chance I could tell in his face he didn’t like the idea. But we all knew arguing with a mother on her deathbed is not the way to go.

“Let me sing to my little Muse one more time.”

Mac sets the little filly back on the mare’s chest and I have to tell Mac what she told me. He didn’t hear it all.

“She wants me to raise her Mac”

Mac looks at me with worried eyes.

“But...we know nothing about raising little ones, we didn’t even have any of our own.”

I nod.

“We can’t teach her how we used to live...She is too innocent, we need to find another way.”

We hear the mother singing.

“I will always be with you. I will always be by your side whatever it is you do. I will watch you from the timeless river as I wait for you in the life beyond life. So please little Muse please grow up and become a big and strong mare.”

It was getting harder for the mare to sing.

“So.. p..Please...grow up. I will always be...there..”

She saids her final words. All we could do was watch the little filly sob loudly. She may not have a voice but oh she has pipes on her. I felt it was my duty to raise this little one. No one will stop me, not even the Swat kats.

It’s been almost a day or so since the death of Muse’s mother. Mac and Molly spent that time taking care of the little filly. Chance still didn’t trust them. He looks to Jake seeing him so wounded. He felt his heart growing darker and more upset. He growls heading to the suit-up room and the others watch him leave with heavy weapons.

The vision of Mac.

I watch the kat that has been my enemy for years. I look to Molly nodding to her I notice that Starlight is about to follow Chance. I put my robotic hand on her shoulder shaking her head. A smile forms on my robotic mouth.

“Let me please.”

Starlight stares up at Mac.

“As a former enemy of his, I feel I need to.” 

Starlight sighs nodding, heading back to help Trixie watch the wounded. Starlight also sits near Jake's Wheelchair, the two just chatting. Since it’s been so long since Jake was able to just sit and talk to someone without suddenly having to fight.

“Mac.. don’t please.”

I turn to Jake, a smile forming on my face. Jake knows what would happen if I finally confront Chance. Chance has been this way ever since he and Jake came here. Now Chance is pushing the hatred that Molly and I had. We went from criminals that did so much harm to robotic creatures. That joined Dark kat to get the power we felt we deserved. Then I saw a little one screaming for their mother. 

I walk up the stairs and I see the bodies of the storm king minions burned to a crisp with Chance's weapon. I followed the bodies and Chance was about to attack a female of the species she held, her husband who was wounded,.nd their little one. Chance charges his weapon I quickly run as fast as my robotic legs allow me to take. I grab the blaster, forcing it up into the after it discharges.

“Chance, are you crazy?! Look at them, they're a family.”

Chance stares at me. I could tell the hate in his eyes was greater than ever. I stare at the dead bodies they were defending their families. The Storm king must have forced them into his service. I turn my eyes back to Chance.

“Chance I have been down this world.. Twice. I went to jail and ruined my life and then broke out of jail and lost my soul and body. If you keep on this path you will never be the same. You’re angry, believe me. I know what it’s like”

Chance turns away grabbing another blaster charging it. I follow him and a deep song fills my robotic core. I took a breath that I didn’t have. I finally began to sing.

“There is no going back if you lose your heart. You’re a hero, not a criminal, you're strong kat you have so much to lose if you do this.”

Chance turns around joining in the song.

“I have already lost so much. Mac. My world Jake has fallen into the pits of this fake idea of friendship. These ponies don’t have the guts to do what is needed. I doooooo even if it makes me the bad guy.”

Chance keeps walking the gun charging. I follow the song building up in my robotic core. I look around seeing even the armored storm King minions scared of Chance. He is out for blood and non of them seem to want to take him on. 

“You have just lost your world. The pain is so hard to control even if you lose so much. But you don’t want to lose your soul.”

I quickly grab the blaster and he turns to me aiming at me forcing the barrel into my robotic stomach.

“Think about it, Mac!!”

Chance starts to sing again.

“We have already lost our world. To Dark kat and I have nothing left to lose. This is not my world to defend. It is just a world of magic. The magic is what ponies rely too much upon that they have lost their ways!”

I backed up since he is now coming closer to me. I watch the blaster almost close to being fully charged. If he feels he has nothing left to lose then the only way to do this is to fight him.

“We all have lost our ways, Chance.. Don’t lose your soul because you lost our world. Don’t focus on the pain! Please, Chance, listen to a kat who knows. You have soooo much to lose!!”

Chance fires at me and I quickly get out of the way. I feel the heat on my robotic skin. He drops the weapon grabbing a large magic blade he made. He charges at me as I turn my hand into a sword to fight him off.

“This is not our world Mac. We have lost our heads. To think we can protect these ponies. The only way to fully protect them is to kill the minions and force them to heel. Not destroying you and Molly proved to me that we could have done more. Proving to me that we could have destroyed you and never look back.”

I didn’t allow the words he said to anger me. I kicked him in the stomach forcing him to back off. Till he swings his sword striking my blade again. The sparks from our fight fly all over the ground. Thankfully the road is just dirt. The song grows in tempo.

“Then you have lost your way. You have become the kat that you have always feared. You have become not a hero but a villain. You wish to become like dark kat to destroy dark kat. So I must stop you. I must stop you from making a mistake and you will regret it forever!!!!”

Chance and I stare into the eyes of each other. I see the hate that Molly and I had for years. We felt that Megakat city destroyed our lives. Then I look back on everything no we did to ourselves. I look back again remembering everything. I have no right to redeem myself for Molly for… Little muse. I started singing again.

“Chance oh Chance don’t become Molly and me. We always felt Megakat city turned on us and we felt that what we did showed that we had a right to get it by force. Chance I know your story. You and Jake chased Dark kat and you destroyed Enforcer headquarters so don’t become the threat!!!”

Chance's ears twitch at my singing. He clicks a button and charges the magic in the blade. We swing our blades hitting each other's blades hard. I knock Chance's blade out of his hand. I give him a right hook and he falls on his back.

“I will not give up.”

He grunts singing. I just stood over him. I didn’t wish to do this. I lifted my robotic fist and lift his head with my other staring down at him. I could have done this back so long ago. I could have killed him back then. But I didn’t this time though I don’t want to kill him I want to save him.

“If you go down this path you will have nothing left to lose. Nothing left to lose!”

I bring my fist down smashing into Chance’s face while I pick him up staring at the minions nodding to them. As I walk I hear a large group of them coming up to surround me and Chance as I hold him. They got ready to take me on thinking I am the one that caused all this. But instead, a female came up to the leader. 

The leader of the one leading this charge talks in mumbles to him. As she explains to him what Chance did and why he did it. Then explain to the leader what I did. The others listen and so does he. Then I am starting to see them realize what they have done. They invaded and maybe even killed some ponies and other creatures

 

The leader comes up to me bowing his head. 

“It seems we have made a mistake following the king. But we can’t release the ponies. If we did now it would just endanger them. Go take him with you but we can’t leave here either. If you return to free the ponies. We will have to stop you and it will come to blood and blow but if you can please avoid death.”

I nod turning to take Chance back. I turn around to look at the leader.

“As a former criminal of my world. Thank you for taking a risk to explain yourself rather than attacking. I don’t have the right to this respect at all. But you did what you could. If I do fight you.. will be with respect and not for blood.”

I head back to the junkyard to go back into the bunker. I wonder if I did the right thing to knock out Chance. It's all I could think of when I opened the bunker heading down the stairs. No, I did the right thing and it’s the only thing I could do. Before I fully get into the stairs heading downstairs. I look up and see a big ship not far off. I have a feeling that something powerful is in there. 

Mac has stopped Chance from making a mistake. But Twilight Sparkle has been captured by the Storm King and the heroes don’t even know. Can the kats and the ponies of ponyville fight to free all the ponies. But time is running out for the main six the kats and the heroes of ponyville will they stop the Storm King?

It's calm midday and the sun still is not set like most thought it would. No pony knows how many days it's been since the invasion of the Storm king. I stand near the entrance of the junkyard to guard it. I haven’t seen any of the Storm King's armies for a while. I know they’re in the town. I think they have given up on finding us now.

I feel myself drifting off to sleep. Then I stare at the sky seeing the moon and the sun flying in the sky like somepony is controlling the magic. That bothered me more than anything. I quickly trot back into the junkyard. Trixie looks up and she is wearing a welding mask. I am sure she hasn’t seen anything going on. She lifts the mask to look into my eyes.

“Starlight, what is wrong? You look like you have seen a ghost.”

It took me a while to speak. I lost all control in my words for a few pregnant moments. I forgot Jake convinced Chance into making weapons that will just knock the storm minions out rather than killing them. 

“Trixie, some pony or creature has the power of the princess. I fear that Twilight and the others failed. Are Chance and Jake ready and is everypony else ready for the battle to take back the town?”

Trixie looks down at the weapon she is planning to use. It looks like one of the guns that Chance and Jake built.

“Yes, almost all ponies are armed. Jake is going to stay behind and protect the foals just in case we fail and he has to protect the little ones.”

I close my eyes to the fear of all the little ones getting hurt by these creatures of the storm king. It’s something I will never get over. I feel the only way to get everypony ready is a song. I glance at Trixie smiling at the song in my heart. While that weird music that suddenly plays.

“Come one come all. It’s time to fight. Come and win the battle ahead of us. There is no path but the path of freedom. So let the bell of freedom ring. The bell of freedom has come again. It’s time to ring the bell. Of freedom oh freedom.”

Trixie smiles as she removes the welding mask with her magic setting it down and we both sing while we head down the stairs.

“Oh, the bell of freedom shall ring for us again. Oh, freedom fighters who wish to free their land ring the bell of freedom. We can no longer wait for our heroes. The heroes have fallen again so we must rise. We must fight, we can't rely on heroes any longer. So let the bell of freedom ring.”

The two of us walk down the stairs Chance and the others lookup. I start to sing on my own again.

“It’s time to rise. It’s time to fight in the name of freedom. So let’s ring the bell of freedom.”

Jake, the ponies, and Mac, and Molly join in the song.

“Let’s ring the bell of freedom. Let’s ring and sing the song of battle. For we are all here for freedom.”

The music becomes more powerful while all of us put on armor. Mac and Molly shift their hands into weapons to make sure they lower the power on the weapons so they don’t kill anyone. The next one to sing is Mac.

“Come my darling wife. Let’s fight in the name of freedom. We must redeem ourselves in the eyes of our fellow Kats. It’s all we can do for we have failed in our own lives. We must prove that we can raise the little filly.”

He looks at the little filly. The little filly Muse who hugs Mollies leg she leans down to stroke the little one's head whispering to her she nods trotting over to Jake sitting beside him leaning into the wheelchair. Molly nods, singing.

“Come let’s go fight and bring back this land for those who wish to fight for freedom.”

We all turn to Chance. I walk beside him tapping his side. He looks down at me and he is unsure what to do. He leans down so I can whisper in his ear.

“Sing to them. Show them that you’re willing to fight for us and not allow your petty differences with evil to get to you. Are you willing to prove you can at least try?”

Chance stands in front of the others and he takes a deep breath looking back at me. He has been trying to fix these issues he has with former minions of evil. He gets ready to sing. All I can do is smile hoping that he loves singing.

“Oh, my friends, it's time to rise. Oh come and rise ring the bell sing the future to come. It’s time to rise and we shall fight. A fight that shall never end in our hearts. We shall fight for freedom. Oh, freedom please come. It is time… It is time.”

We all gather our armor and weapons. It is time for battle.

The song of battle

“The song of freedom rings.”

The ponies, the metal kats, and Chance use their weapons to storm out of the junkyard. The blast from the weapons causes the storm king’s minions to at least be stunned and not dead. The storm king minions charge as the force for freedom charges them.

“Ring the bell of freedom. Let freedom ring, let it sing.”

Trixie and Starlight work together to fire their weapons. Even though a weapon from a storm minion smacks Starlight in the face. She is tossed back with the tip of the spear about to stab into her. These creatures are out for blood even though the ponies are trying to keep them from dying. 

Mac grabs the shaft of the spear tightly in his robotic hand. He breaks it firing the blaster in the side of the Storm king minion he looks down to Starlight nodding to her. She smiles at Trixie helping her up.

“Come let the bell of freedom ring. Oh, the bell and the drum have been sounded. It’s time to fight, it's time to win. For when the bell of freedom rings. Everyone shall fight and when the end has come the battle shall be one.”

The leader of the storm king minions drops to his knees nodding to the others to do so. For this reason, he sees that the ponies don’t wish to kill them. If the Storm King knew what was happening. The battle is won but they all stare at Canterlot while a storm forms around it.

“The battle of freedom the bell has rung. The bell has rung it is time to sing our hearts. For we have won. The battle must end for we must see it to the end.”

The minions and those ponies from the battle watch the storm grow and grow more powerful. After a while, a horn blows from the Storm Minions that sounds from Cantorlot to ponyville they have surrendered and the ponies have won. They all cheer while the Storm King minions wait for their judgment.

“The battle of freedom rings. The bell has sounded. It's time to fight for the drum as well. Bring forth the song of music and battle. It’s how we win the war and end the suffering of all. For we rescue and we sing.”

The storm king minions release the ponies they captured in cells in the city. The battle is over and it’s time to celebrate when one of the minions tries to put himself in the cell. Chance shakes his head stopping them. He walks to the Storm King leader that took over this little town. He helps him up and offers a hand to shake.

A few pregnant moments the leader of the storm minions doesn’t shake the hand. He looks at his troops and those others with him. He notices they avoid harming the children that are with them and the females of his species. He shakes hands and everyone cheers.

“The bell of freedom is for all. For we have never gone away from it. It’s time for peace, it's time for glory. Leave it all behind and give everypony wisdom. Move on, let's sing and become one with our hearts. For the battle is over and it’s time and it’s time for peace.”

The battle is over. The Storm King is defeated. How will the Swat Kats and Metallikats be treated now by the princess and the main six? Will the Storm King minions be punished for following the king on his path of destruction? Find out next time in the next chapter: Rainbowlookup

It’s been at least a couple of days since the battle to save Equestria from the Storm King and his minions. The swat kats and Molly and Mac have been asked to come to the celebration in Canterlot. Starlight and Trixie do their best to help the four cats get ready to meet royal blood. Thankfully there were no pony deaths.

Starlight takes Molly and Mac to Rarity's store. She looks tired from her journey but her eyes open wide when she sees the two robotic cats. She stares at them and how shiny they are. A smile forms across her face. She does focus on a little filly that Molly is holding tightly to her metal body. The little one is fast asleep and she doesn’t seem to care that the one taking care of her is made of metal. 

“Darlings, I could make you some amazing clothing for you two. What would you two like?”

Molly stares at Mac.

“Before we do anything. We would like little Muse here to get something first. Starlight told us we need to look our best, meaning her as well, to prove to the princess we can take care of this little one. Since her mother was killed during everything that happened here in ponyville.”

Rarity sighs, shaking her head. A frown formed on her face. The white mare seems to know the feeling of all of this.

“It seems my family and many others are the lucky ones. I don’t want to think what would have happened if Twilight and the others didn’t do what we did even though we almost failed. Can you wake her please?”

Molly shakes the little filly awake and she opens her eyes staring at Molly.

“Little Muse this is Rarity I am sure you met her before or saw your mother talking to. Do you mind letting her measure you for a dress for the celebration and to talk to the princess? Don’t worry Mac and I will be here.”

Muse clings tightly to Molly and Rarity and she carries the little one while Molly stays close to her. She sticks close to her while the scared filly gets measured.

The eyes of Mac.

I kept an eye on Molly and Rarity and how they handled Muse. She cried a few times and Molly had to hug her. The poor thing is so scared it’s going to take months or even many years for her to get better.

“Mac?”

I turn to look at Starlight.

“Are you sure you and Molly will be able to take care of her on your own?”

I shrug my shoulders.

“It would be the first time she and I ever took care of anyone. We have killed and murdered so many Kats we have done so much to harm others. It’s the first time in my life I have been so unsure about anything.”

Starlight smiles.

“I know that feeling, Mac. I would be happy to help you take care of her. If you let me of course.”

A smile forms on my robotic face.

“I would be honored if you did. Just from what Trixie told me these celebrations are almost a normal thing. Just I need to make sure Muse is given a wonderful home and a wonderful family. I just hope I can do this.”

Starlight puts her hoof on my leg.

“Everything will be fine, you will be alright.”

Many hours later Mac and Molly are wearing suits and Muse is in a cute little dress. Chance and Jake are wearing what they could. It was hard for Jake to do much since he is still in the wheelChair and he was told he might be in there for almost a year. Chance has a broken left arm and it’s in a sling. Chance looks around at all the group of ponies waiting for whoever this pony is to sing.

Spike comes up on the stage holding a Mic to his mouth.

“Fillies and Gentlecolts, Get ready for a little SongBird Serenade.”

The yellow mare with her large hairdo spreads her wings and bows after the light shines on her. All the ponies cheer even the creatures like the Kats cheer Chance looks at the strange birds who called themselves Upholie. Songbird speaks loud enough for all to hear.

“And now to celebrate that we are all still here in one piece. Give it up for Princess Twilight and her friends.”

The light shined on the ponies and the friends that helped. Jake and Chance are happy they’re not getting praised; they feel they don’t deserve it. They do what they always did, fight for what is right at least in their minds.

Molly and Mac never got any praise but Molly is more keeping an eye on the cheering little filly Muse. The song slowly starts.

“I know you, you're a special one

Some see crazy where I see love

You fall so low but shoot so high”

The eyes of Jake.

A doctor told me I will be trapped in this chair for a year, I am told but for now, all I can think of is to be happy for these ponies. I do what a normal hero does and turn to leave using my wheelchair while I leave Chance to listen. 

I found a vendor and it’s one of the ponies I met at ponyville. They didn't even force me to pay since I had none of the money. I took a deep breath unsure what to think of all this. I just sat in the chair to relax and the stallion came out from behind the stand.

“I know you and Chance asked for no praise. All I can think of though is to at least give you someone to talk to.”

A smile creeps across my face.

“That is kind of you. I never got your name.”

The stallion chuckles.

“It’s Stock I know it’s on the nose. But eh what you’re going to do. I am sorry you got so badly hurt for our sakes, Jake. I do hope you don’t regret doing what you did for us.”

I just chuckle.

“No don’t worry Stock. I did what I had to even though I may not be able to walk for a year. I will have to get used to that and get the muscles in my body working again. It will take time but I thank you for not making me stay to watch the celebration.”

The stallion laughs.

“Oh don’t worry we have so many of these celebrations I doubt any pony would care. So how is your friend Chance doing?”

I just shrug my shoulders.

“He keeps to himself he has too much pride to ask for help.”

The eyes of Chance. 

I stood in the crowd watching the pony sing and dance. I didn’t notice Jake leave. I looked over to see him gone. But I knew he wasn’t much for celebrations. I am normally not either. I walk out of the crowds to sit on a bench and I hear someone sitting beside me.

“Do you mind if I join you?”

I look over to see Princess Luna.

“Oh, Princess I am sorry If I don’t feel like bowing.”

Luna just smiles.

“Oh, I don’t expect it. I just heard what you and Jake did for ponyville and those strange robots. I know you four asked to be left out of the celebration and just let real heroes get their due.”

I nodded.

“Yes, Molly and Mac felt it would be a good idea not to push so much on the filly they want to adopt.”

Luna turns to look at the dance filly who Molly is staying close to and Mac is clapping his hands to the music.

“Yes about that. You have known them for years, Chance. I would like you to be truthful with me. Do you think they can be trusted to raise that little one?”

That question hit me hard like a baseball bat. I wanted to be truthful to her and I didn’t want to ruin their chances to fix their lives. But I felt I had to be truthful about everything.

“They used to be villains in my world. I know from what I may say to you the truth about them. I am unsure. I think no one can ever move on from being evil. I learned that the hard way from Starlight. I also learned that the hard way from Trixie. I fought them so many times. But they seem serious this time. Muse seems to be a big part of that as well.”

Luna nods.

“I can understand I was evil once as well. I became jealous of my sister. I felt she was treated better than me. It led me to start a rebellion against my dear sister. I fought her and I got banished to the moon for a thousand years.”

I glance at Luna.

“So many of your world has had an evil side and worked to fix their past.”

Luna nods.

“It’s not easy, mind you. But it happens. Also, I was told you and Jake are thinking of becoming full citizens of Equestria. Are you willing to have the junkyard be your home then? Celestia and I are willing to pay all the taxes on it till you get a good amount of bits from it.”

I was amazed she even offered that.

“I am confused with this Luna but I wouldn’t pass it up.”

Luna nods.

“We will be doing the same for Molly and Mac. We will find them a good place to live in ponyville and Molly already said she has something she wants to do lined up. She said she always wanted to take up painting and Mac from what he told me wanted to take up playing the saxophone.”

I just chuckle.

“Good on them.”

Luna nods.

“Now I need to get back to celebrating princely things and all that. Celestia has made sure that you five have rooms in the castle. You and Jake will have a room with two beds and Molly and Mac will have one too. Is that okay?”

I nodded.

“Yes, that is fine. I will let them know when this is all over.”

Luna nods and leaves. I lean back, closing my eyes to let the sound of Fireworks and the celebration at least relax my mind.

The eyes of Molly

The celebration has been wonderful. Even though I have been focusing more on Muse. I look away just once and she is gone. I quickly changed my vision to look for her and let Mac enjoy himself. I follow her hoof steps and she is sitting with a pink mare with a horn and wings.

“Oh Hello, there I am Princess Cadence you must be this little one’s guardian.”

I turn my eyes back to normal and a weak smile forms on my metal face. The joints make a wiring sound. 

“Yes, I was worried that she got lost.”

Cadence laughs. 

“No, I just wanted to talk to her.”

Molly looked confused.

“But she is mute at least what her mother told us.”

Cadence nodded.

“Yes but I still have magic so for a time I can get her to speak her mind telepathically at least it works for a time. It’s not an easy spell, it takes a lot of magic to use. But you have done amazing with her. I know you have evil in your past and crime. I have been told this but I am not going to hold that on you since you have proven to do what you can.”

I sigh, nodding, opening my arms to allow Muse to jump into my arms and I lift her.

“I will do what I can for her. We all will.”

Mac comes over to me and pats my shoulder.

“Hey, Molly let’s go get this little one to bed and then get ready for our meeting with the princess tomorrow.”

Mac turns to look at Cadence. It didn't hit him at first but he quickly bows.

“No need to bow to me Mac You three stay safe and Celestia got you three as well as Jake and Chance a room for the night in the castle. I hope you enjoy your stay.”

Mac and I nod while we carry Muse up to the room the guard leads us to and we notice that Jake and Chance are already in a room that is across from us.

“Hey, Mac Molly?”

I turn to Chance and he smiles.

“I believe in you two.”

Jake looks up at Chance surprised. I was surprised as well. Mac didn’t say a word but smiled.

“Thank you.”

We all get ready for bed. I know we don’t sleep anymore but we had to do something to get used to it. We had to recharge somehow and this is a way we recharge now from the sounds of it. I hold Muse tightly to my cold chest again and she just falls asleep Mac falls right to sleep. I drift to sleep wondering what our life will be when we become full citizens of this world and prove we can be redeemed.

The battle with the Storm King is over. It's now a time to celebrate. For the next chapter Molly, Mac, Jake, and Chance will be made full citizens of Equestria and ponyville. All four of them will have to work together even if they may not always be heroes of this land but they can be heroes another way. But something dark and evil is coming and it’s something they may only be able to face. But for the next chapter, it’s the meeting of Adoption and citizenship. The final chapter of arc one.

I swear I am scared or at least I think I am feeling scared. I am still unsure if Mac and I have emotions. I stood in front of the princess while Chance and Mac argued. Chance is bringing up a lot of good points.

“They helped Dark Kat take over the city and caused us to end up here now you wish to trust them with a little foal? I will be honest I don’t fully know if they can be trusted. But this is not my world anymore.”

Mac tried his best to keep his cool. He was trying hard to keep himself from releasing his weapons and all that kept him sane was the little one Muse. Jake kept hold of her protecting her from Chance and Mac for the time being.

“Molly and I were told if we helped Dark kat he would clone new bodies for us. So the two of us after being repaired and given new bodies after what you two did to us. We did what we could. I look back on it now and we deserved everything we got.”

Before any more could be said Luna shouted.

“ENOUGH!!!”

Muse whines and cuddles tightly into Jake and I felt my motherly robotic instincts take over at how scared she was at the voice.

“We will not hear it anymore you two. I understand perfectly why you don’t trust them. I even told Celestia about all this and she agrees with me. She gave me a chance after 1000 years of banishing me.”

Celestia nods. 

“I can’t see the future. But I think it’s best to at least give Molly and Mac a chance to prove to you you’re not monsters anymore.”

Chance sighs.

“I understand just how hard it's hard for me to get over this. I am sure you can’t blame me for it? I want to. It's just hard for me to do so.”

Celestia walks over to Chance putting her hoof under his chin. A gentle smile that made me feel welcomed was shown to him. In all my times of being alive and robotic, I have never seen such a gentle smile.

“It takes time but this little one needs parents. I am going, to be honest with you, foster parenting and adoption are not the best in this world. It may be the royal crown but even things tend to sneak behind the lines including little ones little her. I don’t want her to end up like that. I am sure you two understand.”

Chance and Mac nod.

“So to cut this short. Luna and I accept that Molly and Mac wish to adopt. We also want you four to be heroes as well but do the things that Twilight and her friends can’t seem to do or fail to do. They may be strong for their friendship but there will be things they won’t be able to handle. Because they will care too much about redeeming the souls.”

I nod Chance and Jake nod as well. Mac seems concerned about all this but he nods to agree.

“For now though my dear sister Celestia is going overboard so everything is taken care of you five head home. Molly and Mac congratulations on adopting little Muse. Chance Jake, welcome to our land and enjoy what you get from it.”

Jake smiles offering the little Muse to me and I held her close.

“Now Luna and I need to take care of some problems. Enjoy your trip home.”

It was time for us to head home to our new home. Celestia and Luna got us a big home for the three of us and Mac have a job as a guard for Twilight's castle and I have become a guard for her as well. I feel maybe this is the best thing for us. 

I worry though what is to come?

In a dark room.

Many eyes in the darkness glow as they stare at the glass orb.

“Hmm, It seems the ponies of the future have new heroes. Reka Draggle!!”

Two witches come running up behind her and stop.

“Yes, Hydia?”

The small witch turns to her two daughters with a smile forming on her ugly face. The glow in her eyes

“Tell me when our guests show up. You will know them when you see them. Now make sure to get everything ready for them.”

She turns the crystal ball to the great evils of ponyville all gathering outside the volcano of gloom. Grogar, Crunch the Rock dog, Bumble and her bees, Beezen, and the others in the darkness. She smiles.

“Soon we will give these ponies what they deserve.”

The first arc of the story is over. But what are these villains of a deep past starting to return in the ruins of the dead land Ponyland or what was known as DreamValley?

A calm little coastal city is known for never having a problem. A coastal city of mostly working ponies and no guards never had a crime. The city is known as Crystal song. The crystal docks show the shine of the sun. 

The pony going about their lives not having a worry or a care in the world. It’s just like your every normal sunny morning. Till a strange sound causes many of the ponies to look up to see what is wrong. Till they start running to boats and other large ships being tossed at the city. 

Ponies run away scared to try to get away from whatever is going on. Then as if it was fate the water itself starts to crest. A tidal wave of fish and other various creatures coming onto the shore. Some outright stabbing ponies with weapons made of coral and other various things of the sea. Of course not to kill but to paralyze and to at least knockout.

Some ponies do their best to run from whatever is causing this problem. Only one can run as she hides on the roof of the buildings watching this from below she tries her best to hide while her wings slowly flap so the vibration she adds to the very air doesn’t give her away. 

She watches while a giant squid and a strange crawfish come out of the water and the creatures with the spears and weapons bow to them. Not a word is said between either of them while the squid holds a strange stone in its tentacle a bolt of magic hits the water again making the water crest more and forming a wall of coral and stone around the city. Making it flood more.

She watches while the creatures put all the ponies who are lucky in cells while some lose their lives to drowning and sharks have some of the lingering ponies. The pegasus mare watching all this in horror; the only thing she can think of is flying to warn somepony.

She finally flies into the air while the squid creatures fire magic at her and throw their spears to at least try to get her. She gets lucky and catches one of the spears in her mouth. With the added weight of the large spear, she can use the wind to glide to fly away. As if it was fate though some magic hits her and she crashes into the forest below.

Jake.

Chance and I have been on vacation ever since everything that has happened. For me, though I am still healing. We used the technology we had and some of the magic to make at least a motorcycle that runs on powerful magics that Twilight would use to fill the fuel cells.  

“Jake, tell me again why did they tell us to come this way?”

I shrug my shoulders looking at the map.

“Well, we are trying to get to the place called Los pegasus, and all I can see it go through here. We are close to the border of a town called Crystal cove. From what I am reading here there is nothing of interest there>”

The bike comes to a sudden stop and Jake looks up from the map.

“What?”

Chance quickly gets off the bike. I look up to see a poor beaten pegasus mare laying near a strange spear. Chance picks her up and carries her to me laying the mare on my lap. I held the mare tightly stroking her fur.

“The poor thing is in shock. What should we do? Should we head back to that small village known as Rockstone?”

Chance shakes his head.

“We should get her to ponyville. It may take at least a few hours. I don’t see her waking up anytime soon.”

Chance turns around and I look back to see a strange shadowy figure coming out of the darkness of the trees and staring right at me. It lifts a tentacle and magic fires from a stone it holds.

“Chance keep an eye on the road!”

I grab one of my blaster’s fire back at the creature. A bolt of magic fires from the gun. I hit the creature and it roared pissed off. The bolt that it fired at it makes a bunch of water appear in thin air and Chance does all he can to stay on the road. I fire again and I hit the stone it held and it gives us a chance to get out of there.

“GUN IT!!”

Chance clicks a button and a rock comes out of the back of the bike. I hold the mare tightly and we shoot quickly as far away as we can. The fuel of the rocket empties a few minutes after and we are on our way to ponyville it will take us a while to get there. I look down at the mare who looks not only hurt but knocked out from something strange that hit her.

I worry about what is to come.

The Squid.

“Master!!”

I stroke my tentacles picking up the stone. I turn to my minion and a smile forms on my rubbery face.

“Not to worry, I am fine. Now go tell the minions to round up the ponies. I am a bit hungry.”

The crawfish or lobster I never understood what he is even though he has been my minion for years.

“Of course master.”

I look back at the road those strange creatures flew down. I wonder what kind of magic they were using. I have never seen such magic that could cause fire like that to come out of the back of something like that. 

“Oh and before you go. Warn the others about these kats.”

My minion bows his head and I crawl myself back to my new kingdom. I smile that this is the beginning of our rise again. The masters of masters returning and I glance back at my orb looking into it to see a strange purple slime coming out of the Volcano.

"Nothing can stop the smoooze."

it’s have been at least a few hours and Chance and I made it back to our junkyard bunker. We had a unicorn to help me downstairs since I am still stuck in the chair. The mare giggles and she didn’t have any issues doing this for me. But I got to know her and she enjoys living with us since it’s a way to keep me and Chance from doing stupid stuff.

“Chance I cleaned up your bedroom and put your weapons in the order you wanted.”

Chance glances at the black unicorn mare he chuckles.

“You didn’t need to do that, Shadow Rose. So Jake and I talked. We felt you should live with us even after he is fully healed. Are you willing to do so?”

Shadow Rose shrugs her shoulders.

“I was a former maid of the castle of Canterlot. I wouldn't mind having just a place to live. You two are good friends. Wait.”

Shadow Rose looks in the chair of the bike looking at the sleeping mare. She uses her horn to check if she is okay. I learned a while ago unicorns can look through the bodies of others. She looks over at me. I explain to her we passed a very small coastal village and we found her coming out of the woods and we got attacked by something.

“This may be normal to you two Jake. But we never heard of creatures attacking like this. I am worried I may have to contact the Princess.”

I glance at Chance.

“Go ahead, Shadow Rose. Chance and I will put her into a bed.”

Chance lifts the mare placing her into a bed and I just sigh shaking my head. Chance sits in the chair near the bed looking over at me.

“I have a feeling something bad is going to happen. I am truly unsure about all this but I doubt we can do anything for these ponies if she came from a place under attack. We are barely even healed and you still are stuck in that wheelchair.”

I sigh, stroking my face.

“You’re correct, fighting those creatures of the Storm King caused me more problems than I thought. I went to the doctor here and they said they doubt I will ever fully get every feeling back in my feet. They think the Storm King minions did some strange magic on me.”

Chance sighs patting my shoulder.

“When we get back home if we ever do Jake. We can fix that with the tech we have back home.”

Black Rose comes back down after a while.

“Alright, the princess is going to send some of the wonder bolts to go check.”

Spitfire

“Alright everyone, we don't know what is here. Keep close to me, Soran. Fleet Foot don’t do anything crazy. It’s just us three to see what is up. We go in and get out after we find out what is wrong.”

Soran nods.

“What do we know?”

I shrug my shoulders.

“I don’t know. Just those strange Kats we met a while ago got attacked by something along the road.”

Fleetfoot went on ahead and soon after returned quickly. She hovers in the air from the looks of the emotions on her mouth since I can’t fully read them from the entire face being in the outfit she saw something awful there.

“Fleet Foot what did you see?”

Fleet foot quickly looks back.

“The entire town is flooded and there is a strange wall built around it.”

Before I could say anything I heard a bee buzzing.

“Do you hear that?”

I turned to Soran and I turned quickly to see large bees. We quickly fly away as quickly as we can with strange magic from below flying past us. I look down quickly to see a giant squid.

“Quickly head back to ponyville you two. Quickly!!”

I get hit by the magic feeling the magic in my body vanishes for a second. I crash to the ground below when I am about to hit the squid catches me and he carries me to his face. He laughs loudly holding me tightly.

“The ponies of Dream valley have more guts than you ponies do. They would have stayed and fought me and maybe won. Now, what should I do with you?”

The Squid seems to not have much of a brain so maybe I could use this. So I changed my voice to make myself sound like one of his minions.

“Maybe the master will place her in a cell till more come and rescue her and you can have a giant meal?”

The squid laughs.

“Great idea!!”

I was quickly taken into the flooded city and placed in a cage above the water. I look at the other cages around me, seeing many ponies and looking down to the water below seeing so many bones and parts of ponies.

“Do you know what happened here?’

I ask a mare who is in the same cell as I am. The white mare glances at me and smiles weakly.

“It was just a normal day and these creatures attacked us and it’s been at least a day or so since then. Many of us that fought back are below us. And…my husband is down there.”

Tears fall down the face of the white mare. I sighed sitting down hoping whoever comes for me would quickly get here. But I am worried I may be here while maybe I could use the other ponies to help me get out and try to save them. I sighed shaking my head I hope the others have made it back. I worry about them.

"Well well."

I look at the creature in the darkness and his red eyes glow brightly. When the light shines on him I finally see who it is. To my horror and so many stories told me in the past. It's the necromancer goat known as Grogar. I feel fear filling my heart for I have no idea what is going to do to me.

"What a collection you have my squid friend. Now, let's wait to see what kind of response we will get."

He glances at me I feel the horror filling my heart and he smiles but ignores me for now. I have a feeling he has no idea what I am part of. They turn the lights off and I watch as the ponies lay down to fall asleep. The white mare singles me over with her hoof.

"Fall asleep with us if you don't they will kill you like they did the others."

I didn't want to conform to this. I feel it's the only way I can help these ponies. I lay beside the white mare closing my eyes to sleep. I heard many sounds around me trying to ignore them most of them were the crying of foals. I glance at the mare again who smiles.

"Don't worry we know we will be rescued. Just we don't know when to stay silent don't let them know you're a wonder bolt miss Spitfire."

I try to speak and our cage is hit.

"You heard them maggots sleep."

The mare shushes me and I fall asleep myself hoping the others have returned.

The princess has been warned one of the wonderbolts has been captured. What will be next for these evil creatures coming out of the woodwork and who will fight them? The Swat Kats can barely even walk or use their weapons from the battle with the storm king’s minions Find out next chapter.

It’s been at least six days since the two wonderbolts without Spitfire returned to Canterlot. Princess Celestia wasted no time to call a meeting with the main six including the four cats. Shadow Rose came with the two wounded swat kats. To make sure they don’t do anything silly.

They’re all forced to wait in a big large room while the main six talk to the princess. I glance at Molly who is very concerned about the little Muse. I did my best to tell Molly our friend will take care of her. I look over to Jake and Chance the poor swat kats are taking longer to heal than they should be.

“Why is it taking so long? I get it we aren’t heroes of this land. But we did our best to protect ponyville. It's like these princesses only care what ponies think.”

Shadow Rose shook her head.

“Chance you know full well it’s not true. I get it you wish to be a help in this land. You two and Jake did enough and have the broken bones to prove it. It’s one of the biggest reasons I am living with you two now. To make sure you two heal and then you can be useful to this world.”

Jake pats Chance's arm.

“I understand how you feel Chance. But she is correct. We need to rest and allow our bodies to heal. Those six mares are the heroes of this world and land. We need to accept we aren’t the heroes we used to be. At least for now.”

Molly and I could be heroes of this land. We need to do something to redeem ourselves. If this land is the land we are going to be raising Muse in I feel we need to make it peaceful at least for her. 

I had enough of this waiting. I walk to the doors. Molly looks confused while I walk towards the door. The guards try to stop me. I push them out of the way as kindly as I can. Of course, I may be stronger than one of the poor mares and she falls on her back. 

“Mac?!”

I don’t look back, I hear her running after me. While I know Jake, Chance, and Shadow Rose are right behind me. I see the bigger doors leading to the throne room. More guards try to stop me and they find it hard to stop me. I get past them with no issue, not doing much to keep them from stopping me. I notice something else: why aren’t they using their magic to stop me? 

Why are the guards so easy to bypass? I look down at the guard to whom I barely did a thing and they don’t even seem to be able to handle something like me. How did this land stay so peaceful for so long? Now I am also seeing why the Storm King took over so quickly.

I open the large doors and I see the six mares and the two princesses turn to look at me. Luna from what I can see is very amused about all this. Celestia is the one I should be worrying about. Celestia and Luna look at each other. 

“You may come forward, Mac, please you took down my guards so I guess I can’t stop you from talking to me.”

I am confused. I was worried I was about to get attacked by the six mares and the princess. I can tell Luna is stopping her from going all out of anger and wanting to stop me from being in the middle of this. 

“Look I mean no harm about all this. Your guards didn’t even try to stop me or what they were doing wasn’t even trying. They didn’t even use their magic on me to try to stop. Now I get it, I am not from your world. I know I don’t get a say in what goes on here. These six are the heroes and I am going to be blunt. Friendship is not going to save you from everything.”

The anger on Twilight's face oh I could see the steam coming out of her ears. I didn’t wish to anger her like I just did but its true friendship can’t save them from everything. She was about to speak but Twilight clears her throat.

“Sister, this is what I have been telling you for a long time now. Friendship and harmony have done many powerful things. But remember Tirek I don’t think we would be able to rely on sudden hidden magic that saves us again. Same with the Storm King. What if Tempest didn’t do what she did and stopped the king? We would have still been stone or crystal. So from what I see here Twilight and her friends can’t do everything.”

Celestia sighs, shaking her head.

“Luna sister you know full well this country has been at least for 1000 years.”

Luna stares at her sister.

“Really?! Did you forget about what I did? Did you forget how bad it got? Then Sombra Discord and there could be smaller threats you know nothing about dear sister. Mac and Molly are looking for ways to redeem themselves. Knowing you dear sister you wouldn’t stop any mare or stallion from taking Muse from them because some high and mighty pony feels they aren’t trustworthy.”

Celestia snorts, staring at her sister. With the anger in her eyes and the gull in Luna’s eyes, Luna seems to be one of those I would get along with great. She is not your typical princess or leader. She is willing to listen to those below her and Celestia is as well. From what I learned about her though she has led for so long it’s hard to look at things differently.

“I am sorry about my husband Celestia. Mac means no disrespect. This is the first time in our lives we feel strongly about something.”

I lift my hand to Molly shaking my head. I lean into her to speak in her ear.

“Let me be the target of their ire Molly.”

I stand fully upon my metal feet taking off my hat. I put it close to my chest, kneeling and looking up at them with a weak smile.

“Look I don’t mean any disrespect here. From what I saw from your guards then all these problems with the Storm King. Then this thing going on in this village do you think whatever is causing this is going to be stopped with friendship?”

Luna nods.

“He is the correct sister when friendship is powerful in this land. So are the rainbows witch attack those who cause the problems. Though what happens if you can’t use the power of friendship on the coming threats? I heard rumors these creatures ponies have seen are from the lost lands of Dream Valley if this is true. Then we need to allow new heroes who aren’t set on friendship to fight for us.”

Twilight snorts.

“Friendship is powerful but I agree with Luna.”

Celestia stares at her former student. Twilight’s ears pin wilt to the back of her head. But she stands tall staring at her former teacher.

“No Mac is correct Celestia. Friendship is powerful but we got lucky with the Storm King. Tempest wouldn’t have even turned on him. She was too focused on getting her horn back and when she learned he wouldn’t do it she turned on him. What would have happened if he didn’t turn on her? What would be happening to our land now?”

There is a very pregnant pause.

“It would turn into more of a crap hole than it is now.”

Everyone including me turns to see Chance. Shadow Rose face hooves. She pulls Jake away just in case Chance angers princess Celestia too much. Chance walks past me and Molly the anger in his eyes.

“I get it you’re focusing so much on Harmony and Friendship it can only go so far. You will meet your Dark Kat soon enough and you will not be able to use the power of friendship or harmony on them.”

Discord appears to look at Chance smirking.

“Well, they have me in the background if they need a snap of the finger to make it alright.”

Chance rolls his eyes.

“My point exactly Discord will just snap his fingers and make it all better than this world will stay stagnant.”

Discord stares at Chance and his ears wilt looking at the princess he smirks weakly.

“I do see his point.”

Celestia snorts her horn glowing. Luna puts her hoof on her sister's shoulder shaking her head.

'Discord what did you find?’

Discord smirks weakly.

“Oh it’s pretty bad there and there is a power there I can’t break. So I can’t snap my fingers and make it all better. So someone knows I am around.”

Celestia sighs.

“I see girls, what do you think?”

Rainbow Dash shrugs her shoulders.

“Chance is correct what happens if a war happens and we don’t have the power to stop it?”

Rarity sighs.

“I may not like it darling but he has a point.”

Fluttershy nods.

“HmmHmm.”

Apple Jack sighs

“Honestly I ain’t sure but maybe friendship can’t solve everything.”

Pinkie shrugs.

“I am unsure I can’t annoy them like I could some and my natural magic can only do so much.”

Twilight is the final one to speak

“I will not give up on the way of friendship. But Chance and these Kats are correct. Maybe they do things when we can’t use our element of power or the magic of friendship. We also can’t be everywhere neither can you two.”

Luna nods.

“Then I got a name for these heroes.”

We all look at Luna.

“Equestrian Squad.”

I look at Molly and the others. Maybe I did start something but maybe it’s a chance to stop problems before it’s too late and friendship can’t stop it.

Celestia sighs, snorting her anger pretty apparent.

“I want to talk to you four kats in private. Girls sister can you leave, please? Shadow Rose please?”

Shadow Rose nods as she looks at Chance and Jake.

“I will see you two at home.”

They both nodded while the ponies left. We four Kats are the only ones who are left. When they all leave Celestia's emotions turn from very upset and angry to calm and gentle. Her eyes turn soft looking at the four of us. 

“I may not be happy about you Mac breaking into the meeting. But I am starting to wonder after what happened with the Storm King. Maybe you’re correct about Twilight building a friendship school and her friends getting busier with their lives. I doubt they will always be able to break away from what they’re doing.”

Celestia turns her eyes to look at me.

“Mac I am sorry for getting upset, you're right and Luna is right. I might not stop somepony from taking Muse from you because they feel your past is the reason to keep her from you two. So I will allow this Squad to be formed. One last thing Mac, I want you and Molly to work with Jake and Chance to make this work.”

Jake and Chance look at me and Molly.

“We will do our best won’t we?”

Chance sighs looking at his arm. It’s still broken, it's taking longer to heal than it should. It has something to do with what the minions of the Storm King did to him and including Jake. 

“We will do what we can Jake. Come let's get back to ponyville and see what we can do to save this village before it spreads.”

I stay while the others leave. I tell Molly I will be there and she follows Chance and Jake as the door closes.

“You have more on your mind Mac?”

I sigh softly.

“Not just I want to thank you for listening to a former gangster who is willing to turn their life around.”

Celestia nods.

“Now please leave Mac. I have much to think about.”

I nod

The eyes of Celestia.

After Mac leaves, I go to my room sighing to myself. I sit down to eat a piece of cake knowing who will come to talk to me. As if clockwork Discord shows up and stands beside me looking down at me while I eat my cake.

“Well ain’t this an interesting set of events hmm? “

I nod.

“Yes.”

Discord giggles.

“Think about it Celestia for once some think with their minds instead of their hearts. I get it friendship is the main thing in Equestria but what about the outside world? Friendship won’t work on everything.”

I sigh.

“No Discord you’re correct I think I have been blind for too long.”

I look out my bedroom window seeing Luna on the tower to lower the sun to bring up the moon. I remember what I had to do with her. I remember what she caused and all the death and pain which happened with it.

“Maybe it will stop something like what happened to my sister from happening again. Maybe something will finally trigger in the minds of ponies to fight for themselves instead of waiting for Twilight and her friends or me or Luna to do something.”

Discord nods.

“Yes, it’s something most ponies need to understand. But I shall let you rest Celestia. I will do my best to try to break the spell holding that village. I will come back in the morning to talk to you about it.”

I lay my head on my pillow after Discord left, closing my eyes to rest, and try not to think of the subjects who are being harmed or whatever is going on with them at this very moment.

It’s been at least two days since the founding of the Equestrian Squad. Mac and I are going to help run it with Jake and Chance. We won’t be recruiting anyone for a while till we understand what is entirely going on. 

“Molly, what is on your mind?’

I look up from reading the foal free press. I am kind of confused why they call it such. I read about the princess forming a new group called the Equestrian squad to fight problems friendship can’t beat.

“What is on my mind Mac? I don’t know what to think. I was worried we would lose Muse after what you pulled two days ago but no I noticed ponies are trying their best to help us raise Muse and some are offering to help us with her magic training.”

Mac sighs, shaking his head.

“Molly, you haven’t spoken to me much since we got back. I want you to be truthful with me. Are you upset with me?”

I shook my head. I have to find a way to tell him I am not upset.

“No, I am not, I am just thinking so much. We got little Muse here and I want to make this world peaceful for her to grow up in. So she will never have to watch another one close to her die like her mother.”

We hear the door open and Muse comes in after school and Muse comes in. She looks like she has been crying. I don’t know why my mother's instincts fully took over. I quickly go to her while Mac comes over as well setting down a pen and paper so she can write what’s up.

“Muse what happened?”

Muse lifts the pad and pen in her magic writing down. She shows it to Mac and me. 

“I got insulted by a mare named Spoiled Rich. Because I was playing with her daughter.”

Mac read it out loud. I look over at him. I have no idea who this Spoiled Rich is.

'Who would name their child Spoiled?’

I glance at Mac. I agree with him. It's kind of strange to name your kid after something like that. Muse wrote more. Muse writes more on the pad of paper. I take it from her after she is done. I read it out loud to Mac.

“I don’t want my daughter to be socializing with a pony whose parents aren’t even ponies. I don’t care if they helped protect this town. I have heard their story they’re vermin that don’t deserve to be treated like normal creatures.”

I stand there staring at the words. Many don’t seem to understand a trigger in this world. The biggest reasons Mac and I became gangsters are because of ones like her who look down on us. At first at least to me, it was innocent then we got worse. I regret much of what we did but I have a feeling I need to speak to Princess Twilight. 

“Mac, can you please stay here with Muse? I know Discord is going to be showing up soon to tell us the best ways to get into Crystal Cove. But I need to take care of this before it gets worse.”

Mac sighs, lifting Muse into his arms. I rip out the two pieces of paper, giving the pad and pen back to Mac. He heads to the kitchen smirking.

“How about we have another training of your cooking Muse. Come let's see what we can make for you and our neighbors, hmm?”

Muse giggles nodding her emotions going back to happiness. I could still tell she is crying from the pain of what was said to her. I open a compartment in my leg, I set the two pieces of paper in the compartment in my leg and close it up. 

“Howdy Molly!”

I look over at the apple cart waving at Apple Bloom.

“Need any apples for Muse?”

I shook my head.

“I will come back later. I need to speak to Princess Twilight so if you can save me a few please.”

My main focus is meeting Twilight. I get to the door after the walk. I did stop a few times to say hello and to greet some who were kind enough to speak to me. I knock on the door a few times and the door opens up. Starlight stands at the door with a smile on her face. 

“Molly, are you here for our cup of tea?”

I laugh softly, shaking my head.

“No Starlight I thank you again for making a tea that I can taste. I am here to see Twilight. Is she in?”

Starlight nods.

“Yes, she is having a meeting with the others. I doubt they will care if you come in. Follow me since I even get lost here still after being here for so long.”

I follow her through the castle to get to the throne room. When the door opens the six mares go silent looking at me and Starlight. But they all have happy smiles on their faces. I know Mac and I didn’t do a good job of being friendly two days ago, at least they’re kind gals.

“Twilight Molly has something she needs to talk to you about.”

Twilight keeps sitting on her throne.

“Alright, and since you’re a friend Molly you don’t need to hesitate with coming in here if you need something now what can I help you with.”

I walk to the table and put down the two pieces of paper on the table and Rarity reads them. The look of anger on her face.

“What?! That is downright rude.”

Rainbow Dash flies above Rarity and reads what is said. 

“Whoa. Twilight you need to read these.”

Twilight floats the two papers over to her and reads them loud enough to her friends.

“I got insulted by a mare named Spoiled Rich. Because I was playing with her daughter.”

Twilight shrugs her shoulders at first.

“It seems normal for MRS Rich.”

Rarity snorts.

“Twilight read the second one.”

Twilight reads the next one.

“I don’t want my daughter to be socializing with a pony whose parents aren’t even ponies. I don’t care if they helped protect this town. I have heard their story they’re vermin that don’t deserve to be treated like normal creatures.”

Twilight sets down the paper sighing.

“This is sadly what you will meet in our world, Molly. There are many elites just like her who will insult because they have the power to do so. But I know who can talk with her husband AppleJack. Can you please take her to Filthy Riches store please?”

Apple Jack nods, waving her hoof for me to follow. I make sure to scoop up the two pieces of paper before I do so.  I followed her to Filthy Riches store. I have heard Filthy Rich is extremely kind and respectful, unlike his wife. Filthy standing behind the counter looks up to Apple Jack

“Ah, Miss Apple Jack, how can I help you?”

Apple Jack smiles.

“I need nothing right now and no need fer trading. Hav ya met Molly yet?’

Rich looks up to me.

“Ah, one of the heroes who saved our poor little town. What can I do for you?”

I sigh feeling no air leave my robotic mouth. It’s hard to feel like I can breathe when I am not. I don’t want to upset this very kind pony. I have no choice though I need to tell him what his wife said. 

“I got two notes from Muse. I would like you to read them unless you’re too busy to read them.”

Filthy Rich smiles, taking the notes from my hand and putting them on the counter he reads them a frown forming on his face. He turns to look at me. I can tell he is not happy with his wife. 

“I am sorry about Spoiled. She used to be the same way with Apple Jacks' sister when our daughter played with her. Calling her and her friend's blank flanks.”

I am confused about what is wrong with being a blank flank?

“Forgive me, I don't mean any harm or anything here. But what is wrong with being a blank flank? Without one it gives you more time to find who you are and not try to hurt yourself getting a mark you will have for the rest of your life.”

Apple Jack chuckles.

“Ah to fillies and colts Molly blank flank is an insult. At least it seems to be an insult. I am unsure why many use it as such.”

Filthy glances at Apple Jack.

“Could I bug you into overseeing the store while I head home to talk with my wife?”

Apple Jack shrugs her shoulders.

“Sur why not.”

Filthy sighs shifting on his hooves. I could tell it wasn’t going to be easy to talk to his wife about this. With his hoof, he asks me to come. I followed him to the large house in town. I look around and see the large house. 

“Um forgive me Filthy, this looks like a nasty eyesore in this town.”

Filthy stares at the house a moment. He looks at me then back at the house he chuckles softly shaking his head.

“You aren’t the first to say this. My wife acts like this is Canterlot. It’s not and the unicorn elites wouldn’t even want anything to do with her since she ain’t a unicorn. There would be some who would, it takes a lot.”

I sigh, stroking my head. 

“I thought the rich elites in my world were confusing and tried everything to put ones like me down. Truthfully Filthy ones like your wife caused me and Mac to take up a life of crime to get back at them. I regret much of what he and I did in our world. It’s why he is and I want to redeem ourselves by raising Muse right.”

Filthy smiles opening the door going inside I go inside with him.

“It looks like she is home. I am going to go talk with her when my daughter comes home. Let her know I am upstairs talking to her mother.”

I sat down on his couch. He heads upstairs knocking on a door and all I hear is silence. I look around. It's been a while since I have been in a beautiful home like this and not trying to steal everything. The door opens and closes. I hear hooves trotting into the front room.

“Mom, I am home.”

A little filly with a Tiara on her head walks in. She stops looking at me. After a few pregnant moments, I think she knows why I am here. She comes over to the couch sitting beside me. We look at each other. I look back down to the floor.

“Is it true you used to be an evil creature in your world?”

I lift my head looking over to the filly, a weak smile forming on my face. Nodding I explain my entire life and Mac's life and what happened to us and us fully getting turned off and put back on to take over Mega Kat city and causing Chance and Razor to get here.

“Mac and I regret everything we did. It’s why Mac and I are raising Muse to redeem ourselves. Many in our world would think we have no right to be redeemed. I would agree but you ponies are respectful and kind and then I heard how your mother treated Muse.”

The filly sighs.

“I used to be nasty and awful to others like her for a long time. Her mother and Muse moved here before the cutie mark crusaders gave me the guts to stand up to my mother. I did see she wasn’t able to talk so I tried to insult her and use every insult in the book. It didn’t phase her, she just smiled at me.”

I chuckle softly.

“Little ones like her who are mute are used to being treated like a joke to others around her. I think the issue she had was with what your mother said. Is what she said about Mac and me. I don’t blame her for what she said. But saying that to a little one who lost her mother during the Storm King attack is it wise?’

The filly shakes her head.

“If I was the old me still I would be going after her just like my mother. You and the other three kats risked your lives for us. I am sorry about what my mother said. She gets it in her head that being rich like we are she has a right to insult and treat others like they’re below her.”

I think this world is not much different from the world where I am from Mega Kat city did so much to those who are down on their luck. The rich elites tried so hard to be above us all and not all of them wanted it to be that way. 

Filthy finally comes back down. Spoiled Rich is right behind him. She sits in the chair looking upset but Filthy sits beside his daughter. I could tell the talk didn’t go well. Spoiled looked upset and I have a feeling she felt she had a right to speak as she did.

“Have you been trying to assault my daughter kat?”

Filthy coughs.

“Dear please.”

I laugh loudly.

“No, I have been talking to her. Also, Mac and I made a rule if any of the families we stole from had children we didn’t steal from them. If children got hurt then it wasn’t right. Our world wasn’t as peaceful as this world is and many are always at each other's throats and many in the dark wanting to take over the city.”

Spoiled Rich snorts. I could tell she is ready to do a big insult to get me upset and angry. Maybe to try to prove to her husband and daughter that I am a monster. So I am waiting for the moment she would go all out on me. She shifts in the chair. I know it’s coming.

“Forgive me if I don’t see you as worth getting to know. You’re not even flesh and blood, you're a worthless contraption that I could demand to be taken apart and then your little Muse taken from you and given to a proper mare.”

I smirk.

“So she could turn into a bitch like you?”

She gets off her chair staring at me like there is about to fight. I look over to Filthy and Diamond winking at them both.

“How dare you?! You should be kinder to your betters!!”

I laugh loudly.

“My betters? If you’re my betters then wow I fear for your world. Now you listen to me and listen good pony. I don’t care about your social standing or how you rich ponies lead your life. You made Muse upset and cry. I will say this only once. If I have to come back to you and teach you a lesson of humility I will do it. You understand?”

The mare's face turns red with not only anger but flustered and I can tell I pushed a button. She grew angrier. She was about to yell and shout at me but strange magic took her mouth away and she tried to gasp. Discord shows up laughing loudly and giggling.

“Ooooo such lovely chaos I would ask you to keep it up but Molly I found your way into Crystal Cove. I can get you and Mac in there but you will be on your own. Oh, and I am sorry Mister Rich, I didn't mean to make your wife look like a fool.”

Rich shrugs his shoulders.

“My wife is a good mare; she just allows her standing to get above her. Now Diamond, why don’t you go get Muse we might need to take care of her while they’re away.”

I glance at Filthy.

“Will you make sure your wife treats her with the respect a mute little one deserves?”

He nods. I nod to him while Diamond gets off the couch. Looking at me waved her hoof at me and trotted out of the house. 

“Now if you excuse us I need to take her and Mac to the junkyard.”

Discord snaps his fingers and I am sure he gave Spoiled her mouth back. I show up in the underground base of Jake and Chance. Mac shows up beside me and he looks around. He seems confused.

Jake is working on some of his weapons and Chance is working on the Jet. Shadow Rose does what she can to help the two of them. But they stop what they’re doing when they see Mac and me. I am sure they aren’t surprised to see Discord.

“So I take it Discord found a way to get into Crystal cove?”

Discord nods.

“Yes I brought them here so you could give them the armor for them you were working on.”

Jack nods as he heads to his workshop and a few minutes later he has what looks like gangster coats and hats in his lap. He gives them to us and we put them on. It’s like our own clothing back when we tried to take over the city.

“Now it’s time to get you two there before these creatures get too powerful even for you. I will keep everypony up to date.”

Discord clicks his claws and we appear near the cut-off docks near the coastal city. We see the wall around the city and looking around we see rock being moved and inside is a passageway. Looking down at it. It looks like an old smuggler's cave.

“This cave from what I saw used to be used as an old smuggler's cove for the earth pony tribe before the three tribes fully got connected into one big group. Now, this is where I can only go. I can't do anything else. I am told if you don’t come back in at least four days then Celestia will come with her sister and her army.”

Discord vanished and I looked at Mac. He nodded as we turned our hands into our guns as he and I went down into the cove. I don’t know what to expect Mac and Me are either on the way to being heroes and redeeming ourselves in the eyes of Jake and Chance or to our end we shall see when the time comes.

A couple of hours before Mac and Molly are transported to Crystal Cove by Discord. Mac is in the kitchen. He may no longer eat anything, telling him he can’t teach Muse how to survive on her own if she has to.

“Now Muse remember to write this down. I am going to teach you to make a cinnamon loaf. Are you ready?”

Muse nods.

“Alright now remember two cups of flour.”

I place the flour into the bowl to make sure she understands writing it down. She writes it on her pad looking up at me.

“Alright, the next. Now a lot of what we had in my world is different here fresher from what I can tell so the next cup of sugar. Make sure to add the right amount you don’t want too much. It will cause some of the taste to be overly sweet.”

I look around to make sure I have everything. I find it amazing that I do have everything for this bread. I grab the next thing for the bread looking down at Muse.

“Now two teaspoons of baking powder just again make sure it’s not too much. You don’t want to make the taste something you may not enjoy. Next would be cinnamon itself, make sure to grind it down.”

I grab the bowl with the crusher. Crushing down the cinnamon into powder adding both to the mix. I glance down watching Muse write down what is next. I smile, patting her head. I wish I could have had a little one with Molly but sadly we had to be dumb and become these robots. Oh well, at least I can try better now.

“Now a Teaspoon of salt.”

I put the salt into the bowl watching her write it down. She is in such a good mood I am happy for her. I sigh with no air coming out of my mouth. I feel I am finally doing something good in my life. I look around to grab the next piece of the recipe.

“Now give me a moment.”

I help Muse get on the stool so she can do the rest herself. I explain to her what is next and she grabs each thing with her magic.

“Yes, one cup of buttermilk. Good now place that in.”

She places it in and grabs the next step. I watch her close hearing the door open and close hearing hooves trotting in. I look down seeing a little filly the same age as Muse. I glance at her and lower myself to the new little filly enough.

“Hi, may I help you?” 

The filly smiles weakly looking at what Muse is doing. She is placing the rest of the piece of the ingredients into the bread. She looks down at the filly jumping from the stool to the floor taking the bowel with her in her magic and mixing it.

“I am Diamond Tiara. I am a friend of Muse. Discord showed up and told Molly he found a way into a village I don’t know what is up since I am too young to care. My mother asked me to fetch Muse so we could take care of her while you two are gone.”

I sigh softly, shaking my head.

“So you have the mother who.”

She nods.

“I am sorry about my mother,'' I told her after we got home, saying all that wouldn’t end well. I was born into riches and I am starting to wonder if it was a good idea to be born in such splendor after what Molly told me about you two.”

I smile weakly nodding.

“Yes, it’s hard for the two of us to get away from our past. Since Chance and Jake are in this world too. We used to fight them all the time when we tried so hard to take over the city. To get back at them for what they did to us. At least it’s what we told ourselves each time.”

I look at Muse stroking her back with my robotic claw.

“Are you okay with staying with them?”

Muse sets down the bowel writing on her pad.

“You want to stay with Jake and Chance? Diamond, does it bother you that she wants to stay with others she knows better than your parents?”

Diamond chuckles.

“Oh not at all. I will take her there and tell my father who she is with. I wonder if Jake and Chance can be trusted though?”

I quickly nod.

“Yes, they can be. Go take her to your parent's house for a while.”

The eyes of Diamond Tiara.

After Mac is done telling me what to do he vanishes and I look over to Muse who looks sad seeing Mac leave. I gently pat her shoulder with my hoof. 

“It’s okay, I will make sure my mother is kind to you. Also, bring whatever you have in that bowl.”

Muse nods. I leave the house and she follows me. I watch her turn to lock everything to make sure everything is locked. I don’t get it why is she locking everything? I will have to ask her while we walk to my home. She lifts the bowel and we both head through the town.

“Why did you lock the door?”

Muse lifts her pad writing on it. She lifts it enough to show me so I can read it.

“It’s a reaction to the world they came from. They know this land is peaceful but they’re worried that an elite pony tries to do something and take me from them. Because they’re so full of themselves thinking they can raise me better.”

I sigh deeply looking away. I don’t blame the two kats for disliking how the elites run themselves. I can notice they have big issues with them. I look over to Muse worrying if I bring her into the house. 

After a while, we get to my house and when we walk in I notice my mother has her mouth back. She looks down hatefully at the little Muse. I look at my father keeping an eye on my mother from the corner of my eye to make sure she doesn’t do or say anything to Muse.

“Daddy Muse is not going to stay here. She doesn’t feel safe so I am going to take her to the junkyard to stay with Chance and Jake. She feels safer with them.”

My father tilts his head.

“Oh is there a reason for that little Muse?”

Muse lifts the pad to him and he frowns, lowering his ears and nodding.

“I hope someday you can trust us, Muse.”

Muse looks to my mother and then back to my father. I know why she doesn’t feel safe. It's because of my mother. 

“Maybe she doesn’t feel safe because those kats brainwashed her.”

I turn my head to glare at my mother.

“Mom, for once in your life shut up.”

My father stares angrily at me. Then look at my mother.

“Dear, maybe it’s wise if you say nothing for now. Let Muse make her own choices if she doesn’t feel safe with us it’s okay.”

Muse keeps the bowel close to her. She walks to the door but before she does she turns to stare with so much anger at my mother. She is trying to speak finally.

“...My…Mother…gave..me to them.”

She was able to spout out. She tried to say more but her ability to speak left her. She left the house and I followed her.

“Diamond, why are you following her?!”

I turn quickly to my mother.

“To make sure she makes it there safely. Mother, you need to know when not to talk. She lost her mother during the Storm King raid, and you act as if you know better for her. You don’t. You’re just a rich mare who thinks she knows better than everypony else to get a grip you don’t.”

I walk towards the door.

“Fine.”

My mother sounds defeated. I look back at her. She is frowning and looks sad. I didn’t want to hurt her feelings so I turned back to her.

“Look mother I love you but please you can’t fix this issue. The only way you could is if you could bring the dead back to life. All you can do is make her feel worse. Now I will be back after I get her to Chance and Jake.”

I trot out of the house to catch up to Muse and walk beside her. She has tears falling down her face. I lean into her as we walk.

“Hey, don't worry about my mother. I am sorry she is not kind to you. I will do my best to work on it with her.”

All Muse did was lean into me crying softly to herself. I notice Silverspoon coming over to talk to us.

“Hello Diamond.Muse? Is she okay?”

I shake my head.

“Come with me to the junkyard, I will explain on the way.”

I explain to Silverspoon what is going on while we walk to the junkyard and we walk into the junkyard noticing the scanner they put up looking at us. Before the scanner could do anything it was turned off. Shadow Rose brings her head out of the large building.

“Sorry about that, Chance keeps forgetting to turn it off.”

Chance growls from inside.

“I don’t forget we don’t need every pony to come in here all the time.”

Shadow Rose laughs.

“Oh come on Chance it’s good for you now come on girls.”

The three of us made it in and Muse quickly set the bowel down, rushing to Jake and jumping into his lap sobbing in his chest.

“Whoa whoa, what's wrong?”

Muse just squeaks loud enough and Chance looks over to Muse. I have never seen Chance so angry. I have spoken to him and tried to be kind to him. He turns to look at me. He leans down.

“Did Molly or Mac do something to her?”

I shook my head.

“No, my mother insulted them in front of her. She took it very personally.”

Shadow Rose glares at Chance. He lifts his head smirking weakly. Shadow Rose points to Chance to pick up the bowel. She trots over to Muse lifting her in her magic and holding the little one close to her.

“Shhh shh it’s okay, why are you here?”

I sigh

“She feels safer here with you than my parents while Molly and Mac are gone. My mother has too much of a mouth and she can’t help herself.”

Shadow Rose snorts.

“I don’t care how rich she is, it gives her no right to make Muse feel this way.”

I sigh knowing I am in for it when I get home.

“I need to head back home please take care of Muse while they’re gone.”

The two kats promise.

“Oh, I will make sure they take care of her.”

Shadow Rose glares at Chance.

“Right?!”

Chance gulps.

“Yes sir.”

I laugh softly heading out of the junkyard with Silverpoon tailing me.

“Diamond, wait.”

I stop turning to look at Silver.

“What is going on where I haven’t seen Molly and Mac all day is something wrong?”

I sighed, shaking my head.

“I don’t know what it is. It has something to do with some village which got taken over a while ago. I don’t know. I wish I could understand more. But they're part of a squad which goes into places where friendship and harmony won’t work.”

Silver Spoon grunts.

“Great.”

I trot home with my first friend not far behind me waving at the cutie mark crusaders as we go.

The Eyes of Molly

This old cove seems to be half underwater and hasn't been used in many years. It’s easy to tell they didn’t know whoever took this place over didn’t know about this place. Mac and I walk through the old cavern looking at what is left behind from the past. 



“A place like this brings back memories doesn’t it Molly? We used to use places like this back in our world to smuggle. I wonder what they used it for.”

We find an old box that is open. Opening it up we see these strange crystals. They look like crystals that could absorb magic into them and be used to fight a war with unicorns. I wonder if these were going to be used for that.

“Careful Molly I heard stories of earth ponies using their magic to homestead places like these. So sometimes the magic would cause some parts of the earth to come alive and take us on.”

I laugh weakly.

“Now you told me who told you this?”

Mac chuckles.

“Thank Twilight for having a library on all pony history they were able to record back in the day. It was mentioned but it also said it’s not an evil spell. It's just not fond of trespassers.”

We make it through the old smuggler's cove noticing a trap door that seems to open to the inn when we get up there we get attacked by one of the pony guards but I grab the weapon with my hand.

“Whoa, it’s okay Brack, these aren’t those who attacked us.”

A candle is lit and we see many ponies in the inn.

“Huh, many of you escaped?”

A bee on two legs comes out of the crowd.

“I am Sting. I came here with the invasion force. My queen has done enough to destroy another land she doesn’t need to destroy another. So I lied to her and my swarm that I was taking these ponies to Squint.”

I glance at Mac

“What can you tell us about what is going on here?”

Sting shrugs his shoulders.

“All I can tell you is what I know. It’s a joint effort with many old threats from an entirely new land so far away from here. Now you found a way out of here?’

We look at the trap door.

“Yes, but do they know Squint has these ponies?”

Brack sighs.

“He had to let some of the ponies go to Squint so they wouldn’t try to hunt for us. Those are now dead; they knew what they signed up for. He eats them when he is given them and that’s all we see. We don’t know who else is here, just these bees and the squid. “

Mac looks at Sting.

“Do you think you could get these survivors all out of here?”

Sting nods.

“I could but there are deeper in the village and this is the only part of the village which is not flooded so I want to come back and help you free the rest. It may take a few hours then I will help you find your way through here.

I look at Mac.

“Yes we have a deal we will stay here and watch just in case someone gets the idea there are prisoners here or do they not care?”

Sting shrugs.

“I don’t know.”

Sting opens the trap door and leads the survivors out. I look out the window which is not boarded up and the entire town is a mess. I see many bodies floating in the water. I see the bees and strange sea life going through like they’re on patrol

I sit down in a chair with Mac not far from me while we think of what to do and how to get us home for Muse.

Molly and Muse made it into Crystal Cove when they met a traitor. A traitor they think they can trust. They wait while the survivors escape through the tunnel. Then they will go full force with the traitor to find out what is going on.

Will they find out what is going on? Is there something wrong with the survivors? Could they be survivors for a reason? Who knows to find out in the next Katastic chapter of Swat Kats?

It’s been at least a day since Molly and Mac left. To others, it felt longer the entire town had done all it could to keep Muse happy and help her keep her mind off Molly and Mac. There has been no new news about the city and no information about the creatures from there. The biggest fear though is their ponies see the sights of giant bees getting closer to Ponyville and they worry enough to have the Swat Kats add some defenses to the city entrances to Ponyville. 

I watch the two cats work while I stand by the little Muse who has been watching the little one. I remember my task from Princess Luna. ‘Shadow Rose please keep an eye on them and ensure they stay on the up and up. I don’t trust these kats or cats whatever they call themselves. But I can understand they’re trying to find a way home.’

“Excuse me Shadow Rose can we have your unicorn magic for a moment?”

I lift Muse onto my back smiling at her while she is fast asleep. The poor little one played so hard with Diamond and Silver they promised they would try to get their families to respect her adoptive parents. I use my horn to help Jake lift a turret and now they set them up the turrets will vanish into the wall so that nopony gets scared of them and the only reason for this is because others asked for protection.

“Jake, will these weapons know not to harm ponies?”

Jake nods

“Yes Chance added a bit more to it that it won’t even harm Mac and Molly and it will let Mac and Molly repair them. From what I learned Chance had a long talk with Twilight Sparkle from the sounds of it you’re the reason for that hmm?”

A smirk forms across my face.

“I am going to be living with you two for a long time and you’re now family to me I got to make sure Chance understands I am not going to sit by and let him go after Muse’s father and mother they may have done many things in the past but they did all they can for the little one.”

I close my eyes looking back at it. It was an hour after Mac and Molly left.

Yesterday an hour after Mac and Molly left

I knock my hoof on Twilight’s castle door and the door opens up. Twilight smiles.

“Hello, Shadow Rose, how can I help you?”

I chuckle weakly

“I need your help Twilight mind if I come in and we can talk over tea?”

Twilight nods heading inside and I follow her as the door closes from her magic and I go into her study. She already had a teapot ready, and I sit in one of her chairs, taking a cup in my magic and sipping from it.

“Black Rose, what do you need?”

I let out a sad sigh

“It’s about Mac and Molly. I need you to have a talk with Chance with me there. I am worried he will harm Mac and Molly in front of Muse. He can’t seem to get over his problems with the two metal kats. I get it they used to be his enemies.”

Twilight frowns

“I see I could send Spike to ask him to come here.”

Twilight calls for Spike and he comes in and she tells him what she would like him to do. Spike looks a bit worried looking at me and then back to Twilight. Twilight reassures him, nodding to him that she would protect him. Spike heads out of the castle and I chuckle weakly

“Are you sure Chance won’t eat him alive?”

Twilight smirks

“I made sure Chance knows that a royal mare wants to speak with him. So he could try to give Spike the walk around but when a Princess wants to speak to you it’s best to do so.”

After at least thirty minutes of me and Twilight talking about how I used to be a maid for Celestia and proving to her, I could be more Chance walks in with Spike right behind him and I glance at Chance he looks at me and then at Twilight.

“You wished to speak to me, Princess?”

Twilight gets out of her chair setting down the cup of tea.

“I wish to speak to you about your issues with Mac and Molly. I am told you’re having issues moving on from the past with them. May I ask you why you have these issues or is it too personal?”

Chance sighs

“I just feel those who have been problems before can’t change. I said that even around Starlight and she told me what she did. I felt anger filling me again after thinking about it and then I calmed down after she explained to me why she did it all. Friendship as a child and child pressures watching those around you growing up. I started to understand she didn’t do it because she hated cutie marks. She felt she wasn’t able to be a part of society so she was treated like me and Jake after we crashed a jet into Enforcers HQ and that ruined our lives.”

Twilight sighs

“What Starlight did is nothing compared to what Mac and Molly did but I need you to move on from it. I know it won’t be easy for you but do it for little Muse. She needs it more than anypony else. I am not asking you to just forget what they did. I ask you to at least try; that is all I wish to do. This is not an order from a princess, it's a request alright?”

Chance nods

“I will try, Is that all?”

Twilight nods

“Yes, and one more request: I need you and Jake to make a defense system for the entire town. Are you willing to do this for us?”

Chance nods

“With Jake unable to walk, something in this world is making it harder for him to heal. I am going to need a unicorn to help.”

He glances at me.

“I would love to Chance just remember to try for Muse.”

Chance nods leaving and the memory ends

Today

“Hey Shadow Rose earth to Shadow Rose.”

I blink, staring at Chance and noticing my mind wandering and I floated the piece he was working with farther away from him. I blush deeply under my fur laughing weakly and lowering it back down to him.

“Sorry I was thinking.”

Jake laughs

“I am sure you’re babysitting and helping us. Go ahead and take Muse back to the bunker and let her sleep. We will be fine if you wish to make us dinner?”



A smile forms across my face nodding.

“I will do just that. I hope you two will learn something about Mac and Molly. I am getting worried about them even though it’s just been a day.”

I head back to the bunker and set Muse in a bed Chance set up for her since when Mac and Molly aren’t around she wants to be with these two kats since she trusts them and trusts me as well. I am willing to do anything to make the little one happy.

It’s been at least two days since Mac and I have secretly gone through much of this city. This city is much bigger than I thought. I don’t trust this sting even though he leads us through many asleep creatures.

“Mac I miss Muse…we need to get this done and get back to her as quickly as we can.”

Mac hushed me. I said that pretty loud but nothing woke up thankfully and we got to do what we can to save this city. I saw a sign reading Crystal cove the city of the future for ponies. Manehatten will be lost in its shadow. Sting stops turning back to look at Mac and I cover our mouths even though that won’t stop us from speaking and pulls the two of us into an intact building where there are many sick and wounded ponies.

Mac looks at me and many of the ponies here are wounded little ones like Muse. If I had a heart it would sink. Seeing these little ones hurting and being ready to do what we can to save these ponies. Sting sighs looking towards the wounded and the sick.


“I am not the only one here willing to save these ponies. Many of us risked our lives to do what we can for these ponies and I wish we could have done more for them. But the others can’t help me anymore because they feel they could get caught. I am the only one that has been able to do anything. My first question is you think you can free this city?”

Mac looks at me and we both nod.

“What must we do first?”

I look over to Mac after he asks his question and Sting sighs.

“The only thing you two can do is find food and medicine or one of you get outside and try to get these ponies out.”

Mac smirks

“I know a way…”

I groan no not Discord but Mac is correct he is the only one that can take care of this. Mac knows a few ways to call discord.

“Hey, Discord, we need you to show up and help us.”

After a few seconds, Discord suddenly shows up in front of us floating around and looking at Mac and me. He laughs loudly and slithers into our faces looking at the two of us with a smirk and an evil smirk.

“So you are already calling me for help. What do you need, hmm? A creature killed this entire city and freed what do you need?!”

I tap him and point to the wounded and sick children. His eyes open wide seeing all the sick and wounded and these children are recent orphans or their parents are missing. It took Discord three minutes to just look at all the children and he stared back at Mac and me. His face is full of pure sadness.

“I can’t help you destroy whatever is causing this but I can get these children out of here and do what you can to find their parents if…any of them are still alive. Then make up a plan of how to free this place.”

I sigh heading to get the children and some of the adults we found deep in the building. They have been doing all they can to help the children and we lead them to Discord. Discord turns to look at me and then at Mac.

“If I do this, whoever is doing this will know you’re here. So I warn you if there is a place you can hide for a bit till they look through this entire building and then you do what you can to save this city and this is the last time you will see me till all this is taken care of.”

A horn sounds and Sting turns to look at the two of us.

“It’s the morning meeting. I can’t help you anymore there is a trap door in the back that will lead through this city that will lead you through the broken areas of the city so you can relax. Now before anything, I warn you the one..”

The horn sounds again and Sting sighs flying off out of the building Discord begins working on the spell as we push all the children and adults. I noticed a dead foal and a mare. I feel myself not breathing. Wait, we can’t breathe. We have been learning again to help Muse get used to us. 

“I sense the one leading this assault coming quickly to get into the trapdoor and I am sorry if I can’t come and help you more.”

Discord smiles at Mac and I know full well what we are trying to do. We are trying to redeem ourselves in the eyes of the swat kats. I grab Mac's arm and we quickly run into the trap door a loud spell hits and a flash of light. We hear many stomping feet and quickly get into the trap door and close it. Above we see bodies blocking the light and many voices and they all go silent when a strange figure walks into the building.

“Hmmm, I know this magic Discord has been here. But it looks like he escaped double the guard around the prisoners. I want these ponies to know I have returned.”

Then a donkey speaks

“Yes, Master Grogar yes…”

The many feet and hooves leave. I don’t know what to expect when the door closes and the light dies. Mac and I look at each other. What are we going to do with a creature like Grogar? I learned about him through reading….and now all we can do is free this city.

Well, this is a turn of events Grogar the father of monsters is in the middle of all this. Will Mac and Molly make it out of this alive and who is the one causing all this with the water? Find out next time the same cat story has the same cat chapter.

Meanwhile in Ponyville. 

I wake up from hearing an alarm. I quickly get out of bed hearing Muse already awake. I quickly get to the bunker seeing Chance and Jake already looking through their many magic cameras. I pull Muse in my magic since she is bothering Jake.

“Now little Muse let them work.”

Muse gives a soft coo nuzzling into me. The two large kats look at me and then back at their screen Jake has been awake for too long. We learned he would never walk again. So he is doing everything he can to force his body to walk. He is busy trying to make sure whatever attacked that coastal town won’t come here.

“What do you two see?’

Chance grabs his blaster. He arms it shrugging his shoulders.

“The alert sounded because of some powerful magic in the town. We are trying to make sure whatever it is we attack quickly. What do you see Jake?”

Jake sighs.

“I can’t pinpoint it but there is powerful magic coming through. Twilight must feel it too because I notice she is there with Spike. I found the spot so come on let's go.”

I carry Muse with me following the two kats. Jake did some fixes to his wheelchair, which moved on to the magic he learned. With how big his brain is it is not hard for him to move like he is and when we get outside we go through the junkyard to the source. While we get close to the source the area around it folds and sparks.

“Twilight what is going on?!”

Jake screams out.

“A powerful magic is coming here. I am lucky I sensed it or if I didn’t do what I am doing this could destroy the town we need to make sure ponies stay out of here. Soon whatever is coming will let out a big explosion of magic. So we need to block everything off.”

Chance turns to me.

“Rose please leave Muse here with us, heads back to the bunker, and get Jake's new creation.”

Wait Jake make something new? I set Muse down with the two Kats and quickly headed back to the bunker. I am trying to ensure I get there before ponies start trying to see what is going on. Getting down there and looking around for Jake's new creation.

How will I know what? I look through many things moving all the trash and junk and I see something I have never seen before in Jake’s workshop. I grab it and head back up outside and I notice ponies are starting to come outside. 

I get back to them quickly giving Jake the creation. Jake takes it in his paws. We all step back while Jake clicks a few buttons. The device expands to put a magic shield around the strange magic and after it’s done we leave the shield to wait to see what is to come.

After a while like a few many seconds, a bunch of ponies starts popping out of it one by one. Many foals and then Discord is the last one he is passed or tired on the ground while Jake goes back turning off the shield and the ponies Discord brought come out they’re taken care of by the heroes of the town. I look back at Discord. Fluttershy is trying to help him up.

“Discord…are you okay?”

Discord smiles at Fluttershy laughing.

“Oh, I will be fine.”

He looks at Muse and she writes on some paper. ‘Mac and Molly?”

Discord weakly smiles.

“They asked me to bring these wounded and sick people here. It’s not pleasant in that town everypony. I don’t think I will have the power to go back to help them either. I was told about many creatures, including one who is the father of monsters.”

Twilight eeps.

“Grogar?!”

Discord groans standing up and trying to use his magic; he has no more magic at all. He sighs and groans. It looks like it’s going to take a few days for him to even get his powers fully back he grunts deeply.

“They’re on their own now, and we cannot help them. I am sorry Twilight they knew what they were getting into. I wish I could tell you that they don’t know. I think they do wish to prove themselves to the ponies here. So Muse will not be taken away from them.”

Filthy Rich sighs

“She won’t be taken away from them. I talked to the other rich ponies in the town and the princess. I think we can all agree these metal kats are heroes. It’s time to allow them to show they’re heroes and they will never be treated poorly again…right my love.”

He looks over to Spoiled Rich. She gives a very weak nod.
