"With portals opening all over the place I'm going to need some help with the mystery dungeons. So who will join me, And I can only take three of you." I say to everypony.
" I'll go..." somepony said
"Luna why...don't go you're my sister." Princess Celestia gasped
" I need to correct my wrong doings as Nightmare Moon. You can raise the moon without me, I have to go." Luna told her sister
Celestia noded and Luna walked over and stood next to me. I then remembered that Celestia had asked Twilight to research pokemon, and me being the pokemon of a professor I had to help her with her research.
" Twilight come with us. Celestia asked you to research pokemon, so join us and start your research." I ask Twilight
" If Twilight goes we all go, right girls." Applejack yelled out
"No you all can't go you have a family and a farm to take care of Applejack. Pinkie Pie needs to stay to keep everypony's spirit up during this disaster. I have reasons for all of you not to go, but I can't find a reason for Rainbow dash not to go." Twilight tells her friends
" So does that mean I come with you?" Rainbow Dash asks
"It's your choose Rainbow Dash." Twilight tells Rainbow Dash
" I'll go being the element of loyalty after all." Rainbow Dash says happily
" Ok then it's decided then lets enter the Mystery Dungeons." I say
We enter the portal not knowing where we will end up. The only thing that worries me is what if there are pokemon stronger than me. What if I can't protect them. We exit the portal finding ourselves in a tunnel, upon exiting I instantly get the feeling that we are being watched...
I look around trying to figure out what is watching us but I can't see anything. We start walking thru the caves, we see a few zubats but they would not mess with a fire type pokemon like myself. I explain to them what exactly what Pokemon we can expect to see. Everything seemed calm until a massive group of zubats flies past us like they were being chased.
" What was that all about." Twilight asks me
I then see a small flame down the caves then suddenly realizing that that was not a normal fire it was the flame of a Charizard. A man walks in front of the charizard and I see a red hat.
"Red..." I say in fear
" Who is this Red thou speaketh of?" Luna asks curious
" Red is the world's best Pokemon trainer, He is on a journey to catch every Pokemon, He has caught every kind of Pokemon in Kanto and I think we're next." I tell her
" Well how do we stop him Quilava" Twilight asks me
"We have to beat him in a Pokemon battle." I say preparing for battle
" He doesn't look that strong. This will be over in ten seconds flat." Rainbow Dash says overconfidently
" Hey I have never seen those Pokemon before...Charizard use flamethrower!!!" Red yells out
The Charizard fires a massive flamethrower attack at us, I block it with protect then yelling at Twilight I tell her to be my trainer. She stands their baffled
" Me what do I do." She asks
" Pokemon battles work where two trainers command their Pokemon in battle. You have two options, One give me orders and I battle the Charizard, or switch me out with another Pokemon which is not an option." I order Twilight
"Charizard use another flamethrower attack" Red tells his charizard
The Charizard blasts out another flamethrower attack. I become engulfed in flames but with me having fireproof fur I'm left unharmed.
" Use....umm" Twilight starts to say
" Use what Twilight!!!" I yell
" Something!" Twilight orders
" Be specific Twilight I'm a fire type pokemon start calling things out withe the word fire or flame." I tell her
" Charizard use wing attack and rap it up with a mega punch" Red orders
The charizard flies towards me and strikes me with its powerful wings. I'm knocked into the air and then hit with a mega punch and I'm sent in to the ceiling of the cave and am knocked out. I wake up with everypony around me. I ask what happened and am answered with this statement.
" After you were knocked out Luna fought the charizard and banished It and Red to the moon, it was so awesome!" Rainbow Dash said full of enthusiasm.
" Mt. Moon or The Moon?" I ask
" The Moon the one in the sky silly there is no Mt. Moon in equestria." Twilight explained
" WHAT ARE YOU CRAZY!!! WHY DID YOU DO THAT!!!" I start yelling
" He attacked us with a dragon." Twilight tells me
" THAT'S HOW POKEMON BATTLES WORK! IT'S A FIGHT BETWEEN TWO POKEMON UNTIL ONE'S UNCONSCIOUS HE HAD KNOW IDEA YOU'RE NOT POKEMON!!!" I continue yelling
We continue thru the caves and they ask me how I got here, and why are Pokemon battles like that. After explaining that the mystery dungeons are a constantly changing environments so we could end up anywhere. We leave the caves and we end up in some castle like place.
"We're in the castle of the two sisters in the Everfree forest." Twilight told me
"This is the place where my sister banished me to the moon a thousand years ago" Luna says
" Is that how long you banished Red for?" I ask
" No only for thirdly moons, I know that a human's lifespan is not anywhere close to a thousand years." Luna tells me
I feel better now knowing that Red would be fine. We arrived in the throne room where a dark figure was siting on what appeared to be Luna's old throne. Then a large group of dark and ghost type Pokemon and these large wooden wolves jump out from the shadows surrounding us.
" Timber Wolves!!!" Twilight screams
" Yes but who is in my throne?" Luna asks
The figure on the throne jumps down off of the throne and lands in front of us. the figure was fox like black with red eyes and blue rings around its body. It lets out a snarl trying to intimidate us.
" Umbreon!!!" I say in shock
" Why does it think it could have my throne? I'm the ruler of the night!!!" Luna yells at the Pokemon
The Pokemon lets out another snarl and the sounding Pokemon and timber wolves move closer.
" We are going to have to fight our way out of this one everybody." I say.....
" Well what pokemon are these and how do we beat them Quilava." Twilight asked
" We got Gengars and Hunters ghost type pokemon. You can't touch them with your bare hooves but they can be hurt with magic. There are a few Houndours, So watch out for their fire type attacks. Umbreon can be hit with physical contact but it has a large variety of moves so be ready. Now what are these Timber Wolves? Can they be taken out with fire?" I tell Twilight
" Timber wolves are just big piles of wood that eat dragons, So fire can beat them." Twilight says with her horn starting to glow.
I Let out a powerful flamethrower attack at the Timber Wolves turning them to ashes. Rainbow Dash starts flying around creating a tornado causing all the Houndours to get trapped in a swirling vortex. twilight fire off multiple spells from her horn at the haunters, but all the ghost type pokemon kept phasing through walls avoiding her attacks. Luna only seemed interested in fighting the Umbreon. Firing massive beams of energy at the pokemon but everyone was block by equally powerful blasts from Umbreon. I quickly run to Twilight's side Ready for battle.
" Should we try the battle again?" I ask
" Alright Quilava I chose you!!!" Twilight yells
I jump in front of Twilight preparing to fight a Haunter.
" Quilava use fire blast!!!" Twilight orders
I fire a massive fireball more powerful than any flamethrower attack at the Haunter. The Haunter launches a shadow ball attack trying to block the attack, The shadow ball explodes when it came into contact with the fire ball. The massive ball of fire was a direct hit on the Haunter. A Gengar then jumps in front of the Haunter ready for battle.
" I think I'm getting the hang of this." Twilight tells me
" Attacking is only a fraction of a battle. You still have a lot to learn Twilight." I tell Twilight trying to keep her from getting too overconfident.
The Gangar launches a beam of dark energy at me. I use protect to block it knowing that Twilight doesn't know all of my moves. After defeating several more pokemon, we find that Luna and Umbreon are at a standstill. I take a closer look at the Umbreon. The pokemon looks like it's trying to defend something. Luna's horn starts to glow readying for another attack.
" Luna wait don't attack!" I yell
" Stop...The Umbreon attacked us?" Luna says with curiosity
" Pokemon don't attack out of nowhere unless someone is in their territory, or if they're trying to protect something or themselfs." I tell Luna
" You think it's trying to protect something. The castle is in ruins what is there to protect?" Luna asks
" Umbreon we are not here to hurt you were here to find what's causing pokemon to wind up in this world." I tell Umbreon
" Why should I trust you. You're just going to use their power and destroy everything." The Umbreon snarls at me
" Their power? What's powers? Were here to close the mystery dungeons." I tell Umbreon
" Don't play dumb with me you know the legend of Hoopa." The Umbreon tells me
" Hoopa!!!" I gasp
" What's Hoopa?" Rainbow Dash asks
" Hoopa is an ancient pokemon with magical rings. The rings were portals between dimensions. Hoopa would wreck havoc and chaos upon the world. Trapping people and pokemon in these rings. He was stopped by a mysterious man with a magic bottle over three thousand years ago." I Tell Rainbow Dash
" So you do know the legend of Hoopa." Umbreon says
" Only because me and Oak researched the legend." I tell Umbreon
" Oak...as in Professor Samuel Oak from Pallet Town in Kanto?" Umbreon asks
" Yeah...my trainer. He got reports of strange activity in the Viridian forest so I went to investigate and wound up here. I thought these were mystery dungeons." I sadly say
" You're that Cyndaquil from Elm's lab if i'm not mistaken." Umbreon asks
" How did you know that?" I ask dumbfounded
" When I was an Eevee my brother was given to his grandson Gary. Then a day later a guy named Elm came in with a Cyndaquil. He said that you were a unique pokemon learning moves that normal Cyndaquils can't learn." Umbreon tells me
" What is he saying all I heard was Umbreon Umbreon Umbreon" Luna asked
" That's odd you can understand me but not him." I say
We follow Umbreon to a Room that has a massive floating ring in it. He explains to me that all he was doing was protecting the portal between the two worlds. We are told that this ring connects the castle with the pokemon tower in Lavender town explaining all the ghost type pokemon. The rings can't be moved and are scattered all over Equestria. We are about to leave when the Umbreon ran up to Luna and stare at her.
"What is he doing?" Luna asks
" I think Umbreon wants to join you." I tell Luna
"Why is that?" Luna asks again
"All pokemon have an unexplainable bond with a specific person. Not the bond between husband and wife, a bond between siblings. The odd connection where you understand them completely and this bond can not be broken. It looks like this Umbreon wants to be your partner." I explain to Luna
"Can you explain that again but in english." Rainbow Dash asked me.
" I can't you'll understand when you find that pokemon." I told Rainbow Dash.
" I understand." Luna says to me.
"Do you want to join me Umbreon?" Luna asks Umbreon.
The Umbreon nods its head yes, and Luna got a big smile on her face and then yelled.
"THE FUN HAS BEEN DOUBLED!!!" Luna yells with excitement.
"When did you learn hyper voice?" I ask covering my ears.
"Sorry that was the royal canterlot voice. It was used to address subjects a thousand years ago." Luna apologises
We leave the castle and return to Ponyville where a pegasus wearing a blue uniform flies up to Rainbow Dash looking panicked.
" Rainbow Dash we need your help. There is some large blue creature flying thru cloudsdale and we aren't fast enough to catch it." The pegasus tells Rainbow Dash
"Spitfire leader of the Wonderbolts needs my help. OHMYGOSH!!!OHMYGOSH!!!OHMYGOSH!!!OHMYGOSH!!!" Rainbow Dash starts flying around yelling unable to contain her excitement.
"What does it look like Spitfire?" I ask
" Its large, blue, it does not flap its wings and it has a red triangle on its chest." Spitfire tells me
"A Latios...You're going to need my help. I know how to catch it, but it's going to be difficult." I tell Spitfire
"You don't have wings." Spitfire tells me
" I know a spell that can make somepony walk on clouds." Twilight tells Spitfire
" I'm not a pony Twilight, but there is a way to make pokemon float." I tell Twilight
