Pinkamena got herself a new pet...and it's a BIG one!
Before the upcoming "MLP: Friends From The BIG HOUSE" story. During one day, Twilight & her friends go for their pet playdate, which Pinkamena & those of Goldie's group join in. But, things get hairy when Pinkamena leaves for one moment, then comes back with her own 'unique' pet which is....A GROWN DRAGON! Reactions go high in what kinda Dragon type they are seeing...this...Kirin. What sorta events will play out & is this Kirin Dragon gonna be their friend while foe to their enemies?
The scene begins to open up like it was just another day in Ponyville. But there was gonna be something special of what was going on in the nice, sunny day light as we find the Mane Six & the Sparkle Family arriving at a familiar park. And not just them, there were also the pets belonging to many of the owners. From what it can be seen & recall, it looks like today was gonna be a pet playdate with the gang’s pets getting a chance to have fun with other pets & along with their owners.
“Come on Tank! Show them what you’re made of!” Rainbow Dash cheered for her pet turtle to hover on his propeller to show his A-Game.
“Rainbow, he’s got a hard shell.” Applejack pointed out that Rainbow’s pet has a shell, so it’s easy to know that the turtle is made of hard stuff when in its shell.
“I know, that shows he’s made of tough stuff!” Rainbow Dash smiled off to brag off in how awesome her pet was.
“Maybe, but Opalescence is also very graceful.” Rarity smiled forth in stating that her lovely white cat was showing a bit of grace.
“Gummy won’t lose, won’t you boy?” Pinkie Pie perk up to say in showing her pet alligator that had no teeth.
“Alright Owlowiscious, time to fly off.” Twilight smiled at her pet owl in knowing what time it was.
“Hoot.” Owlowiscious responded off its animal calling.
“You.” Twilight repeated off to tell her owl this.
“Hoot.” Owlowiscious responded again in the same animal calling.
“I just said….” Twilight was about to say again, but stop herself short. “Oh, never mind…I see how this is going.” She smiled off in realizing what was going on, she was misunderstanding the ‘hoot’ as ‘who’ responses; happens all the time.
“Come on Koga, time to fetch the stick!” Ben spoke off to say as he showed a stick before throwing it for the wolf cub to go fetch.
“Bark! Bark!” Koga was seen going after to catch the stick, only for Applejack’s dog; Winona to grab it & run.
“Hey Applejack, your dog just swipe my stick!” Ben spoke out to his friend in seeing what the hay even happened.
“Sorry Ben, Winona just likes rushing up anything she sees.” Applejack apologized to Ben for her dog’s little misfit play here.
“Okay Angel, time we start having fun.” Fluttershy smiled off to say in having to speak to her bunny.
Angel Bunny instead was narrowing his eyes to tap his foot.
“Oh my, what’s wrong….are you feeling alright?” Fluttershy asked off in thinking something was up that her pet is standing still.
Angel Bunny instead pointed to his belly to rub, stating this & to his mouth in wanting something.
“Oh, you want a snack treat, well…I guess growing bunnies need their strength to play.” Fluttershy stated to say in understanding what her bunny needs.
Fluttershy soon gives Angel Bunny his little treat, so that he’ll be kept happy. While the kind mare was doing that, everyone else was doing their own things with their pets.
“Ready to play Phobos?” Nyx smiled off in thinking her Moon Dragon pal is gonna have some fun with her.
“I don’t know, I know I’m your pet, but I’m also a Dragon like Spike.” Phobos spoke off to suddenly feel like there was something off about his position.
“And?” Nyx asked off in what could be distracting Phobos.
“So why is it that whenever we went to the Human Realm of Equestria High where we were dogs, Spike’s still not consider a pet?” Phobos asked off a bigger question that involves him & Spike being pets in one world, but here in Equestria, he’s the pet & Spike isn’t; it’s been bothering him non-stop.
“Seriously, I’m Twilight’s Assistant & adoptive brother to the family.” Spike raised an eyebrow in having to hear Phobos say something that sounded silly to think over.
“But you’re a dog which is a pet in the other place.” Phobos pointed out in how Spike appears when they go to Canterlot High in the Human World.
“How should I know, I don’t make the rules in that other world.” Spike shrug off to say in not understanding how transformation appearances work in that other world when it’s set on ponies & Dragons, etc.
“Alright, alright, you two….remember, this is the first peaceful day we can have to have just a simple pet playdate.” Twilight used her magic to separate the two Dragons from having their little argument. “That means no dangers, no enemies to figh, & no ruling a kingdom duties. Just us & our pets, having a good time.” She was stating how now they can actual have a nice quiet time to relax with just the ones they wanna be with.
“Your right darling, we need this & our pets need the exercise.” Rarity smiled off to say this while combing her cat’s fur.
“Hugh.” Then a sound of someone nearby that sounded a little…sad was heard. Everyone found someone by an empty bench, & it was….a familiar red parrot, Iago.
“Oh my, Iago…what are you doing here?” Fluttershy gasp off lightly in seeing who was here that she knew.
“Oh hey Fluttershy, I’m just…well…I was only…passing through, yah! That’s it!” Iago yelps upon seeing the gang saw him, as he was trying to come up with a believable excuse.
“Really, you look like you’re sulking. You even got sulky feathers?” Pinkie Pie asked off to point out in how it really look that the parrot was sulking in some gloomy mood.
“Hey Pinky, do I tell you how to puff that mane of yours?” Iago rolled his eyes to remark this issue off in wanting to not be told about private things in how he handles his feathers.
“No, but I could tell you my secret!” Pinkie Pie smiled off to simply state this off to cheer the parrot up.
“Hugh….the types I handle with.” Iago slapped his forehead in seeing how random the pink pony is.
“Hey, is something wrong or does Polly wanna….?” Rainbow Dash was asking this off slyly in trying to help get Iago’s attention with a sentence…he can’t stand.
“Say cracker….AND I’ll ruffle your feathers!” Iago snapped off to say this in an angry & violet way of what he do if someone was gonna offer him crackers that he hates & can’t stand.
“Now, now Iago, manners please…” Fluttershy kindly, but sternly ask the parrot not try to lose his temper.
“Dat goes fer ye too, Rainbow.” Applejack scolds the dare-devil pony for upsetting the parrot to begin with.
“Everything alright with Iago, Fluttershy?” Twilight asked her animal expert friend about the case.
“Well, I’ve been taking care of him for quite some time…but I haven’t help find him an owner that would be perfect for them both.” Fluttershy spoke off to say, but sadly shook her head in that she hasn’t found anyone to take Iago in.
“Eh, it’s my resume, it’s got stats that make others not want a talking parrot that used to work for EX-villains, etc.” Iago waved off to say this in knowing that for him, he’s had an uneasy going employment of being parrot to ‘different’ folks with different needs.
“Chin up, I’m sure the right owner will come, sometimes it’s the pet that chooses, just like an owner chooses their perfect pet.” Ben smiled off to cheer Iago up that eventually, the guy will find someone that they share a common interest.
“Hey there guys!” At this moment, Pinkamena was seen coming on the picture with Golden Heart, Jack Zen, Sombra, Autumn Gem & Omega following.
“Pinkamena, Golden Heart, Jack Zen, Sombra, Autumn Gem & Omega. What are you guys doing here?” Spike asked off in what these guys are doing around these parts.
“Just out for a pleasant stroll, what’s going on here?” Goldie stated in why they are here, but wonders what was happening here.
“We’re having a pet playdate!” Pinkie Pie smiled off to state of what they are currently up to.
“Oh how lovely to here, maybe Golden Wing & Moon Wing could join.” Autumn Gem smiled off to say in knowing who else could join the pet playdate.
“Sure thing, de more de merrier!” Applejack proudly stated in knowing the more that are involved, the better.
Soon the two phoenixes join with the other pets in soaring around in showing their marvelous flare that wow the crowd. Even as Spike saw this action happening, it kinda reminded him of a baby phoenix he once had as his pet.
“Man, I sure wish Pee Wee was here, he probably have a good time.” Spike stated to say in wishing his old pet was back for another visit.
“Say….I have an idea…..which of you guys wanna adapt a pet parrot?” Rainbow Dash smiled off in coming near Goldie’s group & was offering them to take home a free parrot.
“WHAAAAAH!” Iago yelps off in having heard that he was being auctioned off here. “Are you nuts? What am I, a prize to be earn?” He remotely stated in how he was being treated like.
“Well Iago, maybe they could take you in as you can be their pet.” Rarity suggested that if they get anyone from Golden Heart’s group to take the parrot in, then he’ll have an owner & a home.
“Sorry to say, but I am currently design to be a walking arsenal, therefore taking care of a pet would be dangerous if my systems went off.” Omega spoke off in rejecting the offer of having to take care of a pet, especially when he is loaded with explosive weaponry, etc.
“Okay, so Big RED here is outta the question!” Iago spoke off to state who was not gotta take him. “Thank goodness, roasted feathers do NOT look good for my complication.” He looked away to silently state how being a pet to a walking guy that’s cramp full of explosives was not a way to live.
“Well how about Autumn Gem & Sombra, would either of you two like a parrot?” Nyx kindly asked out if maybe the two ponies here wanted to take in Iago.
“Well there was some animal I use to have….but…I rather not talk about it!” Sombra exclaimed to say in looking away in shame in recalling he had a pet, but it didn’t turn out right.
“I know what you mean understandable, even if you were formerly evil.” Twilight nods off in recalling the time she & her brother Shining Armor found a strange creature that was being punished by the former known as King Sombra; but that was in the past.
“So what about Jack Zen if Golden Wing is Golden Heart’s pet?” Ben asked off if maybe Goldie’s loyal guard would be up for the job.
“Sorry Ben, but with another phoenix to take care of, my hooves are tie in feeding them & giving them plenty of water when they come & go as they please.” Jack Zen shook his head to sadly decline that he’s got his hooves tied up in taking care of two pheonix pets.
“Well that only leaves….Pinkamena.” Fluttershy slowly stated in knowing whose left that they haven’t tried yet.
“Oh great, you wanna stick me with someone that scares my every waking moment in the morning & haunts my nightmares.” Iago rolled his eyes in thinking that if he’s spending time with a pink pony with such a face, it’ll be worse than not having an owner to care for a pet.
“Hey, what’s that supposed to mean?” Pinkamena narrow her eyes in having heard what Iago thought about her taking care of him.
“No offensive, you’re a nice pony, but let’s face it….my loud-mouth ways when I hang with you drive everyone else crazy.” Iago held up his feather wings in stating while Pinkamena’s alright, but it’s just the parrot would get on everyone’s nerves whenever he wakes up & first thing he sees scares him to scream.
“Hmmm…guess you have a point there.” Pinkamena thought about this for a few seconds, Iago had a point; that would make everyone she has living with her uncomfortable. “And besides, I already got a pet.” She then spoke off to mention something else about the matter.
“There, see, even if I went with her, she’s already got a….” Iago was about to make another statement that someone’s already got a pet and….
“HUGH!” The other members of the Mane Six party responded off in being very surprise; what did Pinkamena just go & say now.
“You have a pet?” Phobos asked off in being completely surprise that even the pony that lives underneath Sugarcube Corner…has a pet?
“Yep!” Pinkamena nods off to say this with a smile on her face. “Oh, would you all like to meet him? It’ll be the first time he’s seen other faces besides me always visiting to play, chat & feed him.” She was suddenly getting a bit excited that maybe the gang here would like to meet her pet for the first time.
“Well, sure…why not?” Ben shrug off to say in thinking that sounded alright to all of them.
“Be back soon, don’t go anywhere!” Pinkamena spoke off to say this in wanting everyone to not go anywhere as she’s gonna go get her pet right away.
Then in another moment, Pinkamena had dash on outta the area while leaving behind nothing but a cloud of smoke trail. Everyone was pretty surprise in seeing that the pink pony was really excited in what she was gonna do in bringing her pet for their pet playdate today.
“So tell us, what’s Pinkamena’s pet like?” Twilight asked the others about being curious of someone having a pet.
“I don’t know.” Goldie shrug off to say this in not knowing.
“Wha do ye mean, ye don’t know?” Applejack raised an eyebrow in finding that odd.
“Just that, I don’t know about her pet.” Goldie shrug off to state he doesn’t really know.
“But doesn’t her pet live with her?” Rarity question that surely Pinkamena’s pet was living with her.
“You forget, before any of us decided to stay in the Secret Dungeon, she was there by herself.” Goldie pointed out in what the others use to do for Pinkamena in the past from her ‘little’ actions of causing problems.
“Yeah….and looking back, we did make sure she was alone during the….Brrrr threat.” Rainbow Dash rub her back head in recalling those things, not the most pleasant of memories.
“Well do any of you know who her pet is?” Spike asked off in wondering if those here even know what kinda pet Pinkamena owns.
“Negative. I have not lay sights on the mistress’s pet.” Omega shook his head in stating he does not know any pet Pinkamena has.
“Sorry to say, but I have not seen anything that would be like a pet to her.” Autumn Gem shook her head off in also not having any idea about a pet with Pinkamena.
“The only things we got there are just two phoenixes &…well, just stuff.” Sombra was stating, but held back ‘other’ matters that were best kept a secret.
“Then none of you know what kinda pet Pinkamena’s been taking care of this whole time?” Ben asked off in thinking this was strange, why wouldn’t Pinkamena tell anyone about this?
“We didn’t know until just now too, you know. With everything that’s been going on, we never asked?” Jack Zen shrug off to say that from many other actions that distracted them, they never once thought Pinkamena had a pet.
“So where the heck would she keep her pet?” Phobos rub his noggin in not knowing where someone keeps a pet hidden from everyone.
“Well, she may have setup a little place for him to think of as home while she visits. Like if you make a doghouse for a dog. Could that be what she did Golden Heart?” Nyx stated off in thinking how things could work that Pinkamena gave her pet a place to live & to visit perhaps.
“It is possible. Sometimes…I’ve seen my sister go off somewhere & came back almost a few hours later. I always assume it was mostly her scouting the areas.” Goldie spoke out in pondering this very carefully, as if recalling moments his sister did leave & return later; could that be when she went to visit her pet?
“Well there’s only one way we can certainly find out.” Twilight spoke forth in knowing what they’ll just have to do to learn the mystery here.
“Tickle the truth out of her?” Pinkie Pie pops in to suggest this random thing that made everyone look at her funny. “What? Everyone likes a good tickle?” She asked off in stating that there was no harm in a little tickle action?
“I was going along the lines of…asking her.” Twilight slowly was stating that she meant they ask Pinkamena of what kinda pet she owns.
Just then without warning, there was a sudden shaking that made everyone yelp from what was going on. But along with the shaking came a faint roar noise before the shaking return to normal.
“What the hay was that shaking about?” Rainbow Dash asked off in what the heck was that all about now.
“I don’t know, it’s like de ground tremble from something’.” Applejack shook her head off in not knowing what they experienced either.
“Oh dear, could it be that our peaceful day has sadly come to an end!” Rarity gasp off in thinking that they are about to face a problem all of a sudden.
“Oh my & I promised Angel Bunny we have some nice fun with everyone.” Fluttershy yelps in worrying that she won’t be keeping her promise to her cute little bunny.
“Well, maybe it’s nothing real serious, right?” Phobos shrug off to say in thinking that maybe they are overacting to this whole thing.
“Princess!” Then entering the scene was Fred & Barney, the Rainbow Kingdom’s Royal Guards working for the Sparkle Family. They finally caught their breaths in arriving before Twilight & Ben before straightening up.
“Your highnesses…..there’s big trouble with news of something approaching us.” Fred spoke forth first in stating that something was coming their way.
“Ugh, yah….they say it’s some Dragon they never seen before…& it looks scary.” Barney nods off a bit in claiming that it look like a Dragon of unknown origin.
“You were saying?” Spike look to Phobos in stating the Moon Dragon just had to say something.
“Hey, don’t put the blame game on me!” Phobos protest to defend himself in not wanting something to respond.
“Why would an unknown Dragon be coming here?” Nyx asked off in not knowing why a Dragon would be coming here?
“You guys said it’s different, so it’s not the Dragons of Equestria or King Spykoran’s dragons you saw.” Ben stated to say in recalling the good Dragons that are their friends. “Then was it Drago, or his crew, or any other small remains of evil Dragons that serve loyally to Tadaka?” Ben asked off if maybe the Dragon seen was actually with the enemy.
“Just as we said prince, it’s a Dragon nobody’s seen before.” Fred reported off that what they saw was something they have no record of.
“Which means, it’s not been seen on either side of good nor evil.” Barney pointed out that whatever they saw, no side has ever used it.
“Hey guys, I have a question.” Pinkie Pie spoke up in having something to ask during this time.
“Save it, we got a new Dragon-crisis about to happen on our mitts!” Iago cuts the random pink pony off in seeing they are busy with a new alert notice.
“But did the weather say something would cast a large shadow over us?” Pinkie Pie pointed out in having notice what was going on now.
That made everyone stare upwards before something indeed was shrouding over them like a big shadow. Upon closer looks, it was definitely a creature, but it seem more then that once it made a loud stomp sound in landing before the gang. It was like a full grown Dragon that has reach a certain stat between a young adult and adulthood. From its height, it appears massive, much larger than any Dragons one has seen in Equestria, as this one could be up around the very tip of Canterlot or taller than that, just being on all fours since it looks like he can walk on all four legs. From one claw alone could hold many ponies, mostly around 10 or more, give or take. It’s very eyes & growling noises stare down to those before it…& that made many around…panic.
“Waaaaaaaughhh!” Rarity screams out in staring right up at what was overshadowing them.
“Wha in Sam Hill is dat?” Applejack asked off in not knowing what kinda creature this was.
“Dra-dra…DRAGON!?” Fluttershy gasped off in terror in seeing what the creature was from its features.
“You gotta be kidding me, it looks WAY too big for a normal Dragon!” Rainbow Dash protest to say this in seeing what it was that was coming at them.
“Last I check, a Dragon that was larger was Fafnir from the Human World we visited.” Omega pointed out a foe that they fought that had almost look to be of that large size.
“I think at least with him, he only look big….but not big BIG!” Spike stated off to say in seeing that what they are seeing, looks bigger than what any Dragon would be full grown.
“Oh man, there goes our time in taking it easy!” Phobos complained off to say in seeing this is gonna cause delays on what’s holding them up.
“Hello down there!” Then the voice of Pinkamena was heard that suddenly made everyone freeze up in surprise.
“Either I’m hearing things or did that sound like Pinkamena from that Dragon?” Jack Zen spoke off in thinking that they are hearing things if that threatening Dragon sounded like their friend.
“Can’t be, it must be our minds playing tricks on us.” Autumn Gem shook her head in thinking that this must be some sorta mind game.
“Hey you guys!” Then everyone looked up before seeing that Pinkamena’s voice was not the Dragon itself, but rather…a pony riding on its back. “What’s up,” Pinkamena smiled off to say hello to her friends in having arrived in time.
“Pinkamena?” The gang responded off shock in seeing that their pink friend that went off has return…while on the back of a gigantic Dragon.
“What are you doing up there?” Sombra asked off in what Pinkamena was even doing riding such a creature.
“Sis, don’t tell me you had to tangle with this thing when getting your pet?” Goldie asked off in about to feel like things are about to get very hairy here.
“Oh I got my pet alright.” Pinkamena smiled off to simply say this in stating her thought of having done what she needed to.
“Um, question….where is your pet? Cause all I see is….” Ben slowly was asking off in having a weird feeling about what answer he’s about to get.
“Silly, he’s right here. Everyone say hello to my pet!” Pinkamena smiled off to simply say that her pet is the one she’s riding on…the giant size Dragon.
There was a long silent moment before everyone that heard the news was suddenly gaping, eyes bugging out & a whole lot of other things along with some that fainted. Just what is going on here that first an unknown Dragon comes into the picture, then Pinkamena returns & says that this thing is her pet! How can a pony have a pet THIS LARGE without anyone knowing it & how was it even possible? So many puzzling questions are about to be answer off here….later on it seems….
From where we last left off, it’s quite an interesting tale to be said, so here’s a reminder. The Mane Six & those with their group, were having a pet playdate on a nice peaceful day without any worries of enemies to face. Then Golden Heart’s group comes by, & with Pinkamena saying that she has a pet which she like to join in on the fun. And boy, did fun take a turn for a whole lot more than we expected. For the pet Pinkamena had was not a dog, not a cat, not a turtle, not a bird, not a bunny, it wasn’t anything like a normal pet. For it was….A FULL SIZE GROWN DRAGON! And as this strange Dragon had arrived on the scene, many of the town’s folks couldn’t miss it as they gossip upon seeing such a thing. Pinkamena slide off her ‘pet’ to be on the ground & noticed a little commotion.
“Hugh, what’s with everyone? You act like you never seen a Dragon.” Pinkamena spoke off in seeing how everyone was reacting very strange.
“That’s cause we never seen a Dragon THAT HUUUUUGE!” Rainbow Dash issued off to mention how this was the first time that they are seeing a Dragon bigger than Tadaka. “And you’re telling us that your pet is a Dragon?” She stated that for Pinkamena to have a pet like this, it seem…well, crazy.
“Why not? Phobos is Nyx’s pet Dragon.” Pinkamena shrug off to say in recalling who has a pet Dragon.
“Darling’, Phobos here is small, kinda looks less likely ta get attention, other than having’ misfits.” Applejack pointed out that for Phobos, he’s not as noticing as when a giant Dragon could walk in & stir up something.
“Hey now!” Phobos protest off in having been said to cause some misfit acts.
“But darling, where or….how in Equestria did you ever come to owe such a thing?” Rarity asked off to Pinkamena that seeing something like this seem…rather surprising to believe.
“Well before we begin, everyone, this here is Azure Draco Draconis, or just call him Azure for short. He’s a Kirin Type Dragon.” Pinkamena smiled off to mention this off to her friends in who was here that was her pet.
“Hugh? A Kirin Type? I never heard about them.” Spike tap his chin to ponder in having heard what kinda Dragon species this Azure guy is supposed to be.
“Funny story and it does have something to do with Spike….but not OUR Spike. I mean the OTHER Spike.” Pinkamena pointed off to say these things while kinda messing up the order & making them all confused.
“Wait, you mean Spike’s grandfather, the Original Spike?” Pinkie Pie spoke off in having understood that statement of who they are talking about.
“BINGO!” Pinkamena cheered out in seeing Pinkie Pie got her answer.
“You know, doesn’t he have the same first name like Azure Pheonix from the Mystic Ponies?” Nyx raised an eyebrow in thinking that Azure has the same name as a Mystic Pony they know.
“No problem, to avoid confusion of which Azure is who, just think Azure the Kirin, easy enough to know a difference.” Pinkamena pointed out in how they can easily tell the two different folks named Azure by what kinda species they are.
Azure snorts out smoke from his nostril as he seem a bit bored. So the Kirin decided to open his wings to fold them up, however, he was unexceptionally creating a rather powerful gale force wind in blowing lots of places that weren’t bolted to the ground…off. Even the gang below had to hold on tight & secure their small members of the family & pets from being blown away. Once it was over, was those here recovering from what happened.
“Wooooh! What’s with the gale force here?” Ben yelps from feeling that mighty wind blow them.
“Oh that’s only cause he moved his wings, they can create a powerful wind force to rival a hurricane.” Pinkamena smiled off to say this in what Azure could do when he moves his wings. “And that’s not all he can do, why when he roars, it shakes the ground, basically level mountains, and….” She was gonna continue to tell more about what her pet Kirincan do until…
“Pinkamena….exactly how was it you even came into possessing….ugh, a Kirin Dragon?” Twilight slowly asked off to stop her friend’s ‘dangerously powerful’ pet that came into her possession in the first place.
“Well…I can start with an earlier explanation in which Spike’s grandfather is involved.” Pinkamena thought off for a moment in deciding where to firstly begin. “History has tales of were folks have seen dragons with powers & mighty skills of each one different from the other, but some say there was once a mighty breed that lived during the old days when the first Spike, A.K.A. King Spykoran The Old, just started being a King.” She spoke off in making mentions of there was a strong Dragon breed during the days of old before the Old Generation Spike who helped the Mag’ne in the past, even became king of Dragons.
“Okay, we’re listening.” Sombra stated off in having gotten interested in how the story is like so far.
“King Spykoran was able to earn the respect of many Dragons & proved himself to be king of many by defeating the strongest type called the Kirin.” Pinkamena issued off to say this which made many ‘awe’ at that fact, even Spike was impressed by what his grandfather did, that must have been no small feat. “He fought the Kirins in a Dragon dual and from then, they became Allies and would follow King Spykoran into battle when they are needed. The Kirin Dragons even made their Kirin's oath to prove that they will come to King Spykoran’s aid.” She explained the next part of what happened that the Kirins became an allied bunch of Dragons to King Spykoran.
“Oh…they became the Dragon King’s allies.” Autumn Gem replied off in finding this to be the interesting part of the story.
“Yep! From that day, the Kirins followed him and helped whenever they were needed.” Pinkamena smiled off to nod in proudly stating how King Spykoran the Old had help from Kirin Dragons when he needed them. “But through strange and unknown reasons, they all vanished without a trace one day & no one knows what happen to them, not even King Spykoran knew, but he never will forget what great things they done to help out in the past. And so the tale said that one day, the Kirin Dragons will return & when that day comes, evil best beware for when a turning point occurs for the heroes defending the innocent.” Pinkamena pointed off in concluding the story in how things went by in what became a mystery while also being mentioned about a moment the disappeared Kirins may return.
Everyone had heard the short story and many were surprise that there were Kirin Dragons that played a role in the past. Yet the question remain of one thing…why hasn’t there been word about such creatures after so much time?
“So….is that all of it?” Jack Zen slowly asked off if that was all to the pony’s story about her pet’s background.
“NOPE! There’s more!” Pinkamena spoke off in saying that there was more to the story.
“What do you mean, more?” Iago raised an eyebrow to ask what the pink pony was trying to pull here.
“Well duh sillies, that’s just a history view of the tale, I haven’t even done a flashback describing what happened. At least not a flashback about me, but more likely something for our audience viewers to follow through.” Pinkamena randomly was stating these things while having to break the fourth wall around each part of her sentence that made everyone stare at her funny.
“I’ve said this to Pinkie Pie & I’ll say it to you…Pinkamena, you are really random.” Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes in simply stating how randomly weird the pony is.
“Thanks!” Pinkamena smiled off to say in taking that as a compliment.
“Ye know it ain’t always a comment ta enjoy.” Applejack pointed out that Pinkamena may have not got what Rainbow was trying to say in that part of her statement.
“Um, darling, could you maybe hold the story, I believe your…ugh, pet….seems to be doing something.” Rarity pointed a bit worried in noticing that Pinkamena’s pet was moving as if about to do something they are not knowing what may come.
“Hugh?” Pinkamena looked to study the action before it dawn to her. “Oh, he’s just hungry. Say, now that I think about it, how’s about we start having a pet playmate’s lunch break?” Pinkamena waved off to easily state what the issue is & thought that maybe this was a good moment to break for lunch.
“Um, well….that maybe nice, but….gulp, what does Azure eat?” Fluttershy nervously responded to look up in seemingly worrying what sorta things does Azure the Kirin even eat; hopefully not ponies?
“Oh like all dragons, they enjoy some tasty gems.” Pinkamena smiled off to state what her pet eats is the same for other dragons.
“Ugh, Fred, Barney, can I ask you to bring me a gem creation spell, I think I’m gonna be busy getting a large order here.” Twilight whispered to her guards in having a feeling that from their newest pet joining them, she’ll need a certain spell to pop up more gems & she’ll need a lot to feed a hungry mouth here.
“Right Ma’am!” Fred saluted off in hearing the order to turn around.
“Roger-dodger!” Barney also saluted in doing the same thing as Fred.
Soon the Royal Guards rushed off towards the Rainbow Castle to get Twilight’s required book. Moments pass by from where everyone setup a nice little picnic spot to feed their pets. Of course, there was the uneasiness of a giant Dragon hanging over them, but it didn’t bother Pinkamena or even Pinkie Pie as Azure was chewing some large pile of summon gem treats. As the Kirin ate these, Twilight seem to be ready to collapsed & exhaling her breath from having to do a lot of what her Royal Guards brought her; a little summon gems trick was kinda easy, it’s the large stress amounts when one wants to make a large pile & did she ever.
“Thanks for helping with Azure’s meal Twilight, I guess I was so excited, I forgot to pack his usual treats.” Pinkamena smiled off to thank Twilight for the effort, being excited to show her pet off, she forgot to bring Azure’s usual meal treats, etc.
“Hugh…hugh…no….Hugh…Problem.” Twilight panted from sounding exhausted before collapsing a bit which Ben caught her.
“Easy Twilight, feeding a Dragon was never an easy job…especially if they are really big & have an appetite that Spike & Phobos can’t compete.” Ben spoke off to help his love up from having used up a lot of magic to make enough gems to feed maybe a hundred Dragons.
“Come on now Gold Wing, Moon Wing, try some of this.” Autumn Gem smiled off to offer the two phoenixes something of a treat that they dug in.
“Well done, they seem to like that little recipe there.” Somber smiled off to his love in seeing her feed the two phoenixes that like what they are eating.
“I am sensing all of the other animals are enjoying their meals.” Omega stated off in seeing what the other pets are doing with their owners feeding them.
“That’s good, let’s just hope they aren’t hungry for seconds.” Jack Zen nods off to agree in how they only have so much to go around.
That earn a little laughter from some of the gang in knowing that for some pets, they can eat a lot. But probably not so much from a giant Dragon nearby that ate a lot of its meal.
“Alright sis, time you spilled the beans.” Goldie spoke out in deciding to have his sister tell them some things here.
“But brother, isn’t that a waste of good bean product?” Pinkamena spoke out in misunderstanding the term ’spill the beans’ in a random way of thinking.
“Not those kinda a beans, I meant about your pet. Why didn’t you ever tell us, even ME, that you had a Kirin? In fact, how long have you had him?” Goldie shook his head off to explain that they wanna know how Pinkamena even got a Kirin in the first place & why even he was left out of the loop.
Now there was an eerie moment in which Pinkamena heard the request, but fell into silence. The others notice this to ponder if maybe there was something this pony wasn’t wanting to say.
“Hugh….alright brother, you win….I guess I didn’t wanna say nothing, for fear Azure wouldn’t like to hear it.” Pinkamena sighs to say in giving in where Goldie could see that he & everyone wants to know; but didn’t say anything for if it would bother Azure.
Azure lets off a growling noise that earn everyone’s attention now. Pinkamena looked up to the giant Dragon & seem to follow its message very clearly even if it didn’t speak.
“You okay with me telling them?” Pinkamena asked off Azure, which the Kirin let off a low growl noise & nod it’s head for a ‘yes’ response. “Well, okay….” She lightly nodded in seeing that if Azure was okay with it, then guess there is no point delaying now.
“Uh oh! Now you gone & done it! Now were gonna hear a long story here!” Iago slapped his forehead in seeing where this was gonna go, a long telling of a story then just a simple talk.
“What I’m about to tell you is rather the dark part of the story, so be prepared…it is a bit tragic. Even I don’t know much of the details other then what I heard?” Pinkamena issued off in giving fair warning to those here that what she’ll tell next will not be a happy little note, but there are some things even she doesn’t know how it all happened. “But the best place to start was around when Tadaka turn evil a 1000 years ago.” She stated that the story can go about as far back as when Tadaka, Spike’s father, turn evil….
Soon the screen began to fade out as something was about to be seen for one to view….

WITHIN THE PAST AGES AGO!
The scene shows what was happening from the distant past, the day of when Tadaka turn to evil, how he manipulated innocent dragons to become evil and began a war between the good Dragons & against the pony kind.
“As there are those that are good, there are many evil beings and mostly of those who would harm Dragons or to harm their own.” Pinkamena’s narrated voice was heard in telling the tale of how things were happening in the past. “For even those that are also Dragons and belong to King Spykoran’s company, have gone rogue for power and to destroy peace, just like Tadaka had done in which he wanted to kill the ponies who were Spykoran's friends and Allies to avenge the death of his trusted captain of the guards at the clutches of Nightmare Moon.” The pink pony’s voice narrated the scenes of what had become the battle that was made into history.
A change in scenery shows a different location, where there were sleeping Kirins that were resting. But entering from the shadows was a strange Demonic living armor, as dark magical forces made the Kirins magic…be taken into its claw.
“For many of us that know he had a hand in pulling the strings along with the Demon Lords, Grimmore was acting behind the scenes in aiding Tadaka to become an evil Dragon and to manipulate eventually Lorcan along the way; however, that was not all he had done.” Pinkamena narrated off to explain the tale of the story of what events happened, before something else was going on. “The Dark Elf took the moment to send in something, a living armor some say. To find, absorb & copied the powers of sleeping Kirins, and fusing their strength to increase his own along with his army.” Pinkamena narrates off from what happen next as a strange armor began to let off a dark magic that was siphoning the magic of the sleeping Kirins.
The action of what was happening caused many Kirins that were the first victims to cease being alive to vanish without a trace without knowing they were endangered. Many were falling & none were aware of the danger that the armor was bringing.
“The armor acted as if it held a portion of the Demon God’s will. Grimmore siphoned the power from many that were slowly beginning to perish in their sleep until…a single baby Kirin began to cry.” Pinkamena’s narration spoke off about the tale that would have been the end, if not for the sudden noise…of a baby’s cry.
The scene shows a baby Kirin for as he was crying, woke the grown ones who felt their strength fading and tried to resist and fight back…But the Overlord King seem to be amuse at little resistance, but even his armor prove to be more than a match.
“Many of the Kirins fought back, but even the mightiest of the Dragons seem unable to win even if they were at full strength. The opponent they were facing wasn’t natural, it was a force of evil that would end them.” Pinkamena’s narration stated of what was happening when the Dragons learn who was messing with them, & went on to attack….but they had underestimated their enemy in not knowing…the truth.
Many Kirins try to defeat the armor, but its strength, speed, power, everything outclass the mighty beast dragons. Upon their defeat, their bodies turn into particles for their magic to be siphon into the armor. More & more try to put up a resistance, but only a few could see it was hopeless, they had to leave while they still had the strength to getaway.
“Sensing they could not win, many of the surviving Kirins had to escape along with the crying baby Kirin; thus explained their sudden disappearance that King Spykoran was unknown of what had transpired. But the Kirin Dragons never forgot what happened…” Pinkamena’s narration explained forth how the Kirins were left with no choice but to escape along with the crying child & disappeared so which no one would know about where they went; in fear of letting a repeat performance occur.
The scene begins showing what was now the great battle that was going on as many of the Mystic Ponies were facing off against an evil force & its army in a battle to be remembered; There were strange, darkly forms of powerful Dragons that were wiping out many Mystics, but some surviving Kirins tried to stop them & give the Mystics their chance.
“What came in-between was the Great Mystic War, in where Grimmore was on the verge of nearly winning. Especially when he set off powerful Dragons to push the good guys in a corner.” Pinkamena explained forth by her narration of the events that happened that was the greatest battle ever know. “But some of the surviving Kirin Dragons came, they help from afar in the aid when Mystic Avatar seal Grimmore within Tartarus. But many of the Kirins knew that some of the evil Dragons they fought had a shred of their essence, especially from their fallen brethren.” Pinkamena’s narration spoke of a terrible feat of what the Kirins that aided afar in the battle learn that was tragic for them.
Many of the Kirins moan the losses of the defeated evil Dragons…which were made from their lost comrades’ magical force. From after moaning such lost, the Kirins began to fly away, vanishing behind the large dust & smokescreens…to vanish for all to never see or find them…
“The Kirin decided to go into a more solitary form of hiding from everyone, from wishing to never have their power be used for evil…they never forgot that day. As it haunts them & they were somewhat forgotten over the 1000 years of passing.” Pinkamena’s voice of narration was concluding where the story was taking place after what happen to the Kirins soon after, & how their existence…became but a mere legend long forgotten over the course of the years.
Everything begins to blur out about now as the story here was slowly coming to a closure with the sight of the Kirin Dragons leaving the scene.

BACK IN THE PRESENT!
Now everyone has heard the said tale and many have started to feel a little blue. To think that there were many Kirins that were known to be the strongest Dragons, even more infamous than Moon Dragons…only to have been given such a fate. It was a sad thing that was effecting many to feel like they may have judge to quickly.
“Oh dear, darling….that’s sounding…awful!” Rarity gasped off in feeling that such a story seem….very much filled with tragic.
“Yeah, those poor Kirins!” Pinkie Pie spoke off in feeling pretty sad to hear that tale of what happened to the Kirins.
“I feel sorry that we force you to tell us.” Fluttershy apologize in feeling terrible that they had to force Pinkamena to tell them this story.
“I’m sorry to, I had no idea that there was another Dragon race, but now they’re even rarer to even be seen.” Twilight apologized as well that she, that everyone, never knew that there was another Dragon species, but they are rare because of their few numbers.
“Its fine, Azure wanted me to tell you all anyway, probably so you can understand him better.” Pinkamena smiled off to simply state this off that she told the gang so they know more about her pet.
“Guess when it comes down ta it, even mighty critters seem only limited against someone better.” Applejack shook her head off in seeing that everyone has a limit to how there are always those better than the other.
“And by that, you mean Equestria’s TOP of the worse enemy in history of the Three Lords.” Rainbow Dash pointed off that even though Kirins are tough creatures to face, facing against a Demon God like Grimmore who wasn’t even there presently shows how much more dangerous the enemy is.
“I almost fear of what happen if I hadn’t change, would I even survive against one single Kirin Dragon?” Sombra stated to say in fearing that if he remain being an evil tyrant, would a Kirin Dragon destroy him?
“If you were to be on a brink of death, I would plead for such a creature to spare you…because I love you.” Autumn Gem patted her love’s shoulder to state she would have done something to save Sombra.
“Great, mushy stuff.” Phobos rolled his eyes off in seeing what was happening now.
“Shh!” Spike hushed Phobos to not spoil this moment here between those that love another.
“But wait, how was it that you two even met?” Nyx asked off in how Pinkamena even met with Azure.
“Hey yah, that’s right. We still have yet to hear about that.” Jack Zen replied off in thinking that was true, they still don’t know the bigger question to this whole owning a pet Kirin business.
“Well, I’m getting there, but like I said, I had to tell you the Dark Past of what occurred with the Kirins.” Pinkamena stated to say in first having to explain a part of a story that was focus on the dark telling of things.
“And where did you even learn about that?” Ben raised an eyebrow in how Pinkamena heard about the dark past of what happened with the Kirins.
“Ben’s right sis, I wasn’t around or even knew of what happened.” Golden Heart stated to say that even he wasn’t around during that long battle.
“Oh, let’s just say someone filled me in.” Pinkamena smiled off to say in looking up to Azure as if secretly hinting that the Kirin had something to do in telling the pink pony.
“Mistress, we await the next part of the story, if you would.” Omega stated to say in awaiting to hear more of the story in question.
“Right, ready to hear more?” Pinkamena nods off to say in asking if everyone was ready to let her continue.
“Oh brother, what do you think?” Iago rolled his eyes in stating that they are ready, they been ready from the get-go.
“Alright, here’s what happen next!” Pinkamena nods off to say in preparing to continue to tell the stories it goes of how they meant. “Long ago, I happen to come across Azure when I use to travel to a realm of another world, different but similar to this world, after hearing about the Kirins that vanish, but tracked one down here in Equestria Prime.”
And once again, the scene went blurry once more as another tale of the story of how Pinkamena & Azure the Kirin meant was starting to begin…

SOMEWHERE ELSE IN THE PAST
The scene starts to show Pinkamena from a long time ago, having discovered a baby Kirin at the time, & tried to help it out…which was more to say, the baby didn’t like the mare.
“Back then, I had headed off to a portal, which I made my way to Equestria Prime & to ensure I blend in to, went by an alias named; ‘Pinkis Cupcakes Twin’ (Secret Note: one of the EOI, if one has seen them), & after when the law was beating down during an event, I got D.N.A from some certain purple Dragon, won’t I say who. I hoped it help the baby Kirin be a little more friendly towards me.” Pinkamena gave her narration of what she had been through & what she was trying to do in keeping her identity from being truly know & a whole lotta other stuff.
Scenes begin to play out in what the pink pony of the past was doing in trying to befriend the baby Kirin…course that was easier said than done; the baby nearly chomp her hoof off or blew fire to roast her fur.
“However, obtaining blood samples, scales, and saliva was not easy because I had to gain that baby Kirin Dragon’s trust, it was very hard. You ever try to take care of a baby Kirin, let me tell you…it’s harder than taking on a 1000 evil bad guys.” Pinkamena narrates off in stating the course of what she was trying to do during the time & how much it was taking time to gain the trust of the Kirin Dragon baby.
Yep, the scene shows much chaos in Pinkamena’s time in trying to handle one little baby Dragon, which was a Kirin & was a big handful. But after having to deal so much & with little time, things started to calm a little down.
“But in the end, I did it, and during my free time when nothing bad was happening and working the genes, the powers and strengths of the mighty Dragon types of Kirins and other things: such like memory of the subject’s clan ways and other things.” Pinkamena narrates off in what was going on during the next part of her task in trying to help the baby Kirin in what he needed here.
The baby Kirin was starting to show a different action towards Pinkamena, became a little more nicer, and showing how to control its little incredible abilities that all Kirins have.
“In the end, Azure Draco Draconis was born, well okay, he was already born, but…born anew, you know?” Pinkamena narrates off in stating that she had help the young baby Kirin become something, even with a name. “And after much work in his development to obtain his full Grown Size, he would be one to be ready to help his friends out if ever needed.” As the pink pony’s voce stated that, time was going by that the baby growing into a larger Kirin adult Dragon, got a cave in where he would sleep in far from where Sugarcube Corner was.
Soon all of the scenery was fading out here as this was the end to another story in question here…

BACK IN THE PRESENT!
Now this time, everyone finally heard how the pink pony lookalike of Pinkie Pie & Azure ever came to have meant & stay close through a unique relationship of pet & owner. So it’ll be something from how that story even fits somewhere along the lines.
“So, any questions?” Pinkamena asked off in what sorta questions her pals have for her.
“Yah, can you tell me how any of that makes sense again?” Phobos broke off to say that he didn’t understand much of that meeting as it was as random as this pink pony is. “Ow!” Then he yelped when he felt Spike whack the back of his head.
“Don’t mind Phobos, so that’s how he became your pet.” Nyx stated to say this about her pet pal.
“Man, even I’m wondering what would happen if our enemies ever fought him.” Spike stated to say in how crazy things be if a Kirin was to aid them out.
“Well, you’ll just have to wait &….” Pinkamena smiled off to say this little factor, until Azure was tapping his claw nail to her back for attention. “Oh, is it that time?” She responded off in looking up to her pet in pondering of what this could mean.
“What time?” Ben raised an eyebrow up in trying to figure out this message.
“Um, could you excuse us for a bit, someone here needs to use the little Dragon’s room,” Pinkamena stated off to say this in who needs to go at this particular time now.
“You’re kidding mean, where’s he gonna find a bathroom big enough for some privacy?” Rainbow Dash raised an eyebrow in thinking that’ll be a tall order for some privacy.
“How’s about de EverFree Forest, no pony goes there much anyway, an’ it’ll conceal him too.” Applejack stated off a suggestion that could be helpful.
“Great idea, sounds like a perfect place to me.” Pinkie Pie smiled off to say this from having solved this problem.
“Thanks, be back in a flash!” Pinkamena stated off to say this while Azure allowed her to get into his claw.
Now Azure was flapping his wings before taking off while controlling himself to not make large gale force winds. Everyone was bracing the wind before the giant Kirin seem to completely let himself hid within the Everfree Forest.
“Well, that was a very interesting breeze.” Fluttershy slowly stated off in how things went here.
“Something tells me they’ll be more things happening when they come back.” Jack Zen pointed out in what may happen when those two return.
“No doubt about it, guess we’re gonna have to deal with it when it comes.” Goldie sighs to say that his little sister will indeed bring more things for them to handle after what they just dealt with.
“Affirmative.” Omega nods off in agreement on the subject.
The scene begins to go dark now in ending this little scene right here. What sorta things will come around next over Pinkamena’s new pet, guess we’ll have to wait & find out…
Now we soon find Pinkamena coming out of the entrance to the Everfree Forest with Azure the Kirin following close by. Azure had finished his little ‘dragon business’ there, & was very much seen relieved to which Pinkamena was glad he was fine.
“Well, glad that’s taken care of. You really should have gone before you left your cave.” Pinkamena smiled off to say this in seeing that her pet Kirin needed to go, and should have gone before they left Azure’s little home.
“Pinkamena!” Then voices are heard that made the pink pony & her giant Dragon look on the outskirts of Ponyville & saw….the gang coming to them.
“Oh hey guys, we were just about to come back.” Pinkamena smiled off to simply say this to her pals that they had finished what needed to be done.
“Before that, I think we all wanna say something.” Twilight stated to say in having something they wanna get off their chest.
“Um, okay….so what is it?” Pinkamena raised an eyebrow in being curious of what this was gonna be about.
“Honestly, we wanna give a sincere apology. Fer when we first acted when we saw yer….pet, Azure.” Applejack spoke out while slowly stating how they sorta reacted when they met Azure the Kirin.
“Quite right, at first, we thought it was crazy. Having a large & dangerous dragon around for a pet.” Rarity nodded off in simply saying how wrong they were in thinking that Pinkamena could own such a dangerous kind of pet.
“I know I’m afraid of Dragons, but…when I somehow get to know one who’s not all scary…and is really wanting to be friends, well…how could I turn away from them?” Fluttershy shyly spoke in a meekly tone in how when someone wants to be friends, it doesn’t matter if they are scary, it’s all about what’s inside that matters the most in making friends.
“Yeah, we were kinda off our game, worried that your pet might be kinda bad if he wasn’t tame & all that.” Rainbow Dash rub the back of her head in feeling like they didn’t think far ahead in not realizing Azure isn’t as bad as they thought.
“But hearing that you help raise him brought us to think differently & see things differently. Even I kinda follow the idea you took.” Pinkie Pie nodded off in stating how that even her, a random pony, kinda followed along Pinkamena’s logic.
“So in truth…” Twilight spoke up to begin to say this, as the rest of her friends were getting ready before…
“We’re sorry.” Twilight & the rest of the Mane Six bow their heads in giving a formal apology to both Pinkamena & Azure the Kirin; hoping this makes amends.
“We’re sorry too, right guys?” Nyx nods off to say while looking to Spike & Phobos to join in.
“Right, Nyx. Treating Azure differently be like what happen to me or Phobos.” Spike nods off to say in having known what it’s like to be treated differently, on more ways than one.
“Well, I’m alright in sticking up for a Dragon in my same position.” Phobos nods off in issuing how he’ll be doing the same sorta act too.
“Awww, you all really mean that? Even though I said it was okay?” Pinkamena smiled off in feeling like this was the sweetest thing she ever saw, and she didn’t mind at all.
“We do, not just us it seems. Even your group agrees.” Ben pointed out how it wasn’t only them that felt bad in second guessing, even Goldie’s group felt like they wanted to say sorry for suspecting the Kirin.
“Ben’s right.” Goldie spoke forth in taking a stand to approach his sister. “I’m sorry sis, I guess even a big brother can’t know all of your secrets.” He gave his apology in knowing that even his sister, deserves to not tell him every little thing she knows.
“It makes sense, every mare has a secret they don’t wanna kiss an’ tell, even to those they love.” Autumn Gem nods off to say in understanding why Pinkamena wanted to keep her pet a secret.
“Yes, I suppose we should have understood such things & why you didn’t show us the Kirin until now.” Sombra replied off in also agreeing to the matter at hand of how things worked out.
“Which is why if Azure is someone that you feel is okay to hang around, then it’s okay with me & anyone us.” Jack Zen smiled off to simply say that they are good with Azure the Kirin to be their friend.
“I agree as well.” Omega nods off to simply reply in not having any problems.
“Aw, you guys are the best a mare could ask for.” Pinkamena blushes off to say this in feeling like those were really sweet things to say. “Sniff…I feel emotional now…..group hug!” She sniffs her nose a bit, before getting all emotional to wanna hug her pals.
Now everyone was gathered into a big hug with Pinkamena in the center; it was a nice touchy moment.
“Oh boy, here come the water works.” Iago rolled his eyes in seeing how this was gonna be all touchy-feeling time.
Just then, Azure noticed the other pets that were gathering around him, at first, they had concerns about hanging out with a creature as big as him. But now many of them felt okay, some even crawled on his big claw to even fly around him as if accepting him to be like one of them.
“Wow, looks like the other pets have accepted Azure to be like them.” Ben smiled off in seeing how all their pets are no longer worried or concern about Azure.
“Well, it’s just as how all the animals I care for work well together & accept another.” Fluttershy smiled off in knowing how she likes it when her pets get along with each different creature.
“Like little animals liking to be friends with big animals?” Pinkie Pie asked off in thinking of such a topic of two different animals from a respective view.
“Well, ye never too late ta learn.” Applejack nodded off to proudly say this in how things can work out.
“Yes, and I hope you can be as much as our friend too, Azure.” Rarity looked up to Azure in wishing that they all can be very good friends now.
Azure the Kirin lets off a low growl in responding to Rarity’s little statement as many say him nod his head.
“Hugh, guess he does.” Rainbow Dash shrug off to say in guessing that was the Kirin Dragon’s way of saying ‘yes’ to them.
Then without warning, Azure was scratching his head from feeling an itch. But then something began to fall from the Dragon’s noggin and smacked into the ground that appeared…as a giant white piece.
“Oh no! The sky is falling! Quick, we gotta get back home & hide!” Phobos yelps in feeling like this was the beginning of where the sky shall rain down upon them.
“Phobos, the sky isn’t falling, it was just some random stone.” Nyx pointed this out to her silly friend for overreacting a bit.
“Um, is it mean or is this stone look like something’s written on it?” Spike asked off in noticing that something was revealed on the object that had…writing.
Just as Spike said when they all gather around, when looking at the thing…some saw gray…and learn it was made of stone; with carved writing.
“It’s a stone tablet. It looks to be written in some language I’ve never seen.” Twilight responded off in being surprise by what they have found.
“Scans unable to confirm of what moderated language this is!” Omega exclaimed to say in not having any Intel of what language this is.
“Was it me, or was that stone falling look like it was scuffled up in Azure’s Dragon hair?” Jack Zen rub the back of his head in recalling where they saw the stone fall from.
“And what’s this….white dried up stuff looks familiar? Wait just a minute, smells like….no…is this…dry soap?” Sombra rub the stuff off the stone to learn that it’s actually dry soap,& it covered the whole tablet.
“It reminds me, if I don’t rinse the soap out of my mane, it becomes harden & stuck until I scratch it out.” Autumn Gem spoke out in knowing what happens to soap if one doesn’t wash it out properly.
“Sis, did you ever brush Azure during….ugh, clean up time?” Goldie was feeling off in trying to ask how much work Pinkamena gave Azure his bath.
“Well, I tried, but when he was younger, he always was fussy around the head in getting soap in the eyes & he shook so much it cause quakes. So I told him to wash up on his own.” Pinkamena shrug off to mention this little stuff over the issue before she let Azure the Kirin wash his own head with soap.
“Apparently, it’s been there this whole time & now it’s fallen off when he must have felt it needed to come off.” Jack Zen stated to say in seeing how things sorta fall into place; no pun intended.
“Maybe we should take it back to study it, learn what language it is.” Ben suggested what they can do so they can learn what this thing is saying.
“I think I can read it out…hmm.” Pinkie Pie focus her eyes to study the tablet’s words…before pronouncing them. “Ont vulom lost bo wah un himdah, mii un suleyk melaat lot kein. Mu lost bovul ful tol un suleyk fund neh kos mii alun einzuk, pogaan began wah vodahmaan faal Kirin Dovah reyliik mindin tol. Nuz til aalkos 'Ray do Hind fah pah Kirin eylok. Kirin wo los kiin, wahlaan naal vorey eylok mindin niidro kiindah fen, naram wah meyz muliik ruz daar us nii. Ahrk aal gein sul frey suleyk do daar wo kod 'The Elements' tol drun Fahdonmaar voknau mii 1000 eruvos vod, fen kos helt.” Everyone was pretty much staring at Pinkie Pie for having spoken out all of that stuff so perfectly well.
“What does that mean?” Spike asked off in what that message even means.
“Beats me. I don’t even know.” Pinkie Pie shrug off to say that even she doesn’t get it.
“Great, what kinda language is it & why did anyone write it?” Phobos rolled his eyes in thinking that they won’t get to the bottom of who wrote this thing.
“It’s written in Thumm Dovah Language.” Spoke out a voice that was a male tone in giving an answer.
“Did anyone say something?” Twilight asked around in which many of the males shook their heads ‘no’ there. “But who just?” She was about to dig further of the case, but it wasn’t needed.
“Hello down there.” The voice was heard that many were looking up to see that the one who spoke…was the Kirin Dragon: Azure.
“HE CAN TAAAAALK!” The Mane Six party & most of Goldie’s group yelps out loud in having been overtaken by this little discovery.
“What? Two baby Dragons can talk, but I can’t talk?” Azure spoke out in feeling like if Spike & Phobos can talk with English tongues, why not him?
“No, it’s just….all this time, you…only let off growls.” Spike pointed off in recalling the only things Azure did at times.
“So why didn’t you speak up before?” Phobos asked off in why the giant Dragon never spoke up sooner.
“I didn’t know what to say at the time.” Azure shrug off his head in giving a simple answer here.
Everyone except Pinkamena was taking their time to process this as they didn’t know Azure could speak plain English.
“Azure, you said this was…Thumm Dovah, what is that?” Twilight asked the Kirin Dragon about what he meant by the language on the stone tablet.
“A very old language that only the Kirins ever spoke to another & wrote things down. It’s something we genetically never forget.” Azure spoke off in issuing what sorta history the language has. “It took Pinkamena some amount of years to fully know you’re A, B, Cs in Thumm Dovah spelling before able to translate.” He pointed out that it took one person that was caring for him, time to understand how to read & speak the different language.
“Pinkamena, you can translate this language?” Goldie raised an eyebrow in having heard this surprising fact.
“Well yah, plus speak it out…sometimes me and Azure like to have secret conversations in case anyone spies on us.” Pinkamena nods off to say this with a smile in having learn how to do such a feat.
“Right, like someone would be that dumb to spy on you…when you got a giant Dragon with you.” Iago rolled his eyes in thinking nobody wanna spy when a big, dangerous Dragon like a Kirin could spot them & it wouldn’t be pretty afterwards.
“Well then, can you tell us what this says?” Jack Zen asked off in liking to know what this tablet is even saying.
“Of course, my new friends.” Azure responded off in going to help translate this tablet for those that don’t know the language. “The tablet reads off as a part of a Kirin Prophecy. It says: ‘Once darkness had come to our lands, used our power during the great war. We had fled so that our powers would never be used ever again, many began to forget the Kirin Dragon race after that. But there may be a 'Ray of Hope' for all Kirin kind. A Kirin who is born, raised by another species after its birth will arise, growing to become stronger than those before it. And may one day aid the power of those who wield 'The Elements' that bring Friendship & Harmony. So that the evil that rain down upon us a 1000 years ago, will be stop & the fate for all Kirins will finally be given peace.’, and that is all it says. In truth, it may have been place on me before I got separated from the rest of my brethren.” Azure finished translating the tablet while also being curious that the thing was placed on him that he never noticed until recently.
“So then, what does this prophecy mean anyway?” Rainbow Dash rub the back of her head in not making heads or tails of what this could mean.
“Well it sorta matches de story Pinkamena told us before.” Applejack rub her chin in pondering what they heard that sounded somewhat familiar.
“That’s right, the first part is about how a form of darkness came & used their power & fled to be forgotten.” Rarity stated in recalling what happened to the Kirin that someone siphon their magical power & used it for evil, then force the Kirins to flee.
“But what about this…Ray of Hope for all Kirin kind? That a Kirin born, raised by another species after its birth will arise, growing to become stronger than those before it?” Sombra spoke out in being puzzled by another part of this prophecy that it speaks about.
“And that it will aid its power to those who wield the Elements? And stop an evil from a 1000 years ago to bring peace? Do you think the rest is talking about….” Autumn Gem stated off in speaking the other words while slowly coming around to a part that seems to make them think about…some folks here.
“Analysis confirmed; A Kirin raised by another species is evident to mistress’ Pinkamena in caring for Azure.” Omega spoke out in having understood & matching the subjects with what they currently know.
“Then that must mean Azure the Kirin is going to help mommy, my aunts, daddy & any other Element User ally to stop evil.” Nyx stated to say in having got the right idea in what this prophecy was talking about.
“Well there are a tone of evil beings around, the Three Lords are the top worse. But perhaps it means one that reigns the highest priority.” Ben spoke off in knowing that there are many evil forces, but there is one that is the highest of threats.
“Grimmore….how his name seems to haunt many, even in my dreams…my brethren’s souls scream from their demise.” Azure spoke off in mere mention of a name of the worse & greatest foe that has ever existed that caused his brethren such pain. “As a child, I took my terrors on the one who only wanted to take care of me. It was she who help me grow & it is now that I know my role…” He explained that in the past, he was uneasy with Pinkamena because of what happened in the past, but he’s gotten over it because of the pink pony.
Azure started to open up his wings without warning here as he started to flap them out while everyone watch from the ground.
“I bid you all farewell, and do not fear, if there is trouble that you wish the aid of a Kirin Dragon…I shall answer your calling.” Azure spoke forth in telling the group here that if they are in a tight spot, he shall offer them aid. “Thank you all for the pet playdate…it’s the first amusing fun I’ve had in ages.” He smiled off to say this much to those that have provided him with much joy in having fun with other pets.
Then with a flapping of his wings, Azure took off to return to his own little place of home at this point. Many of the others watch in seeing Azure take off in making a lot of wind pressure from his large wings…just before the Kirin was out of sight when he vanish near a mountain spot.
“Man, a shame Chase had to go away on some training exercise, he would have been amazed to see Azure.” Ben spoke off to say this in knowing someone that be amazed to see a living Kirin Dragon, bet Chase the Warrior be REALLY surprise then.
“Oh my, I think the day is practically almost over!” Autumn Gem gasped off in noticing that the sun was now slowly setting.
“I believe so my dear, we best get back.” Sombra nods off in agreement of what was happening at this time.
“I’ll bet even Flutterbat will find this story to be something surprising.” Jack Zen exclaimed to say in knowing a friend of theirs that is waiting for the sun to set to come out, will be surprise to hear what they experienced today.
“Well guys, thanks for letting us join in on your pet playdate, we all had fun. Some more than others.” Goldie smiled off in thanking Twilight’s group for the nice time that they had.
“Well shot, it weren’t nothing much at all. Glad ye could join us.” Applejack smiled off proudly in kindly welcoming the comment with open arms.
“Yes & I believe the pets had enjoyed the company of many others as well.” Rarity nods off to proudly state this fact of who else had a fine time.
“Yep, and we made an even bigger new friend along the way.” Pinkie Pie smiled off extra excited in having to meet a Kirin Dragon, who knew they meet one like that from another friend?
“You ain’t kidding about that thing, Pinkie Pie.” Rainbow Dash lightly rolled her eyes to smile off that such a meeting was about one to a million.
“I wonder what other tricks Azure can do?” Fluttershy questioned off in what other feats Azure the Kirin can do besides make strong winds from his wings.
“Bet if he rolls over, he could crush a lot of enemies while playing.” Phobos smiled off to crack a joke in what happens if a pet rolls over…the guy will crush a lot of enemies.
“Oh Phobos, that’s just a silly idea…but it is kinda funny to picture.” Nyx rolled her eyes at how funny her pet pal was, but the joke was funny when one thinks about it.
“Well gang, guess we better head home. And thank you all for the great time.” Twilight smiled off to mention this while thanking Goldie’s group & Pinkamena for their time together.
“No problem, just you wait, Azure will surprise you all….at least when he’s not sleeping or eating, etc.” Pinkamena smiled off in mentioning this next stuff while also pointing out things of when Azure may or may not be free.
“Boy, that sure sounds convincing.” Iago rolled his eyes in having heard that, that might take time to ponder a few things.
“Alright, lets head on home, our little guys are probably tired out.” Ben stated to say as he picks up Koga in seeing the wolf cub yawn a bit in feeling tired.
“Okay Ben. See you guys around!” Spike nods off to say to Ben before saying farewell to Goldie’s group & the other Mane Six members.
With that, everyone gets ready to head out for home with their pets. Pinkamena was slow coming with the gang as she watch from afar of where Azure the Kirin went off, gave a nod with a smile before going after the rest. Everything fads out around now from this little moment…

At this time, Iago was seen flying near a part of Ponyville when it was getting pretty dark after the sun went down. The parrot was flying around in trying to mind his own business…until he bumps against something that caught him off guard; as he flapped back up to stare at who the wise guy was.
“Hey buddy, what are you doing…” Iago was about to snap at the person before him until…. “WHAAACK! YOOOU?” He yelled out in seeing who it was that he was even talking to.
Minutes pass by as Fluttershy was moving around in trying to find Iago after he flew off to be by himself for a bit.
“Iago….Iago, where are you?” Fluttershy was calling out to the parrot she was trying to find here.
“Boy I tells yah, you think we hear such extreme plots when severing for evil.” Iago’s voice was heard from a distance in talking about some stuff on a subject.
“Iago?” Fluttershy replied off quietly in hearing the parrot’s voice; he’s close, and so she follows the sounds.
“You try doing them favors, & it gets you nowhere while the good guys treat yah better than your old employers.” Iago was seen talking to somebody from which the other person was behind an alley while the parrot discussed things.
“Oh, I wonder who he’s talking to,” Fluttershy asked off from hiding near a corner, as she saw only the parrot and not who he was talking to.
“So anyway, after hearing that Kirin’s story about how bad things are, and seeing we too, got used & lead poorly before realizing…what we needed instead of what we wanted.” Iago spoke off in finally claiming that from what Azure the Kirin spoke, it’s not something they want, but what they need that makes them happy.
“Oh, maybe I shouldn’t be spying, but….what should I do?” Fluttershy meekly spoke to herself in feeling like she shouldn’t be doing this, but her curiosity was too much.
“So anyway, you seem like a guy who gets me, really, you do? So what do you say, you like a parrot over your shoulder?” Iago spoke off in stating in what the two can do for another, scratch each other’s backs & such.
Fluttershy soon leans more to peak at who it was that Iago was talking to, and when the light was clear enough, she mangled to see who it was…
“Hugh?” Fluttershy gasped off in recognizing that the person Iago was speaking to, was a small & familiar baby Dragon…Lorcan. But last she heard, he was still in a coma, so how....until she saw it was a magical blurry vision; it was not the real thing, but then....what was it?
“Well glad we came to an understanding. I gotta run now, so I’ll see yah later after I wrap up some things.” Iago spoke off to say this in having to end their little chat right here as he has other ends to tie up.
Now Iago was seen flying away at the time as did the one he was talking to that vanished completely. But then he bump into a mare before him, as it was…Fluttershy.
“Whack! Fluttershy….hugh, you trying to give a parrot a heart attack!” Iago yelps out to say while signing from almost having a heart attack from this moment.
“Iago….I…I saw who you spoke with.” Fluttershy lightly spoke her meek words in having seen what she saw.
“Oh, you did, hugh?” Iago looked away in knowing what was gonna come from the discussion here.
“Yes, and….is he the one you feel could be your owner?” Fluttershy slowly nods off to say while liking to ask the parrot about the question here.
“Well, maybe not technically an owner, more like….a partner of us been led astray. As for if we’ll be good to another, ehh….we’ll see, it’ll be 50/50.” Iago shrug off to lightly say that there was no actual answer, but seeing the two are once in the former business of working with evil crooks, it could be possible.
“Well, alright….I’m certain he can use a good friend when he’s feeling down.” Fluttershy smiled off to nod in accepting the term of an answer from Iago & knowing that other person needs a good friend too. Especially if that was a magical subconscious image used in a spell for the one in a coma to maybe be looking around & hearing things while the body still rest.
“Thanks for all you’ve done for me Fluttershy, I’ll never forget it.” Iago smiled off to kindly say these words as thanks.
“Thank you Iago, maybe you can visit when you like?” Fluttershy nods off to happily say this in liking the parrot to drop by sometime.
“You’re a good pony Fluttershy, a real good one.” Iago smiled off to nod that Fluttershy is a very good & kind pony to know.
Soon Iago gets himself to fly on ahead in going off somewhere of his own choosing while Fluttershy watches him leave.
“I hope you make him feel alright Iago, perhaps having you like a pet can bring a smile on his face….wouldn’t that be nice, Lorcan?” Fluttershy smiled off in thinking that maybe Iago’s new friend will be much happier now with a nice parrot pal to think of as a pet; hopefully Lorcan likes the idea. Especially when the guy wakes up from a coma, to have a friend nearby which they kinda understand one another.
Now the scene begins to fade out from here as Fluttershy was soon returning to get herself home. Many things seem to have happened & are now shifting into newer things then before…

Within a certain cave far from Ponyville lived a certain Dragon that we all saw had returned as he was getting ready to sleep. He saw a picture of Pinkamena and a baby Kirin that was him before rolling near a bed he had to lay in.
“Goodnight….Pinkamena…” Azure spoke off in wishing the pony that was on the picture a goodnight.
Then the Kirin begin to go into a nice little snooze now, remembering the days of how Pinkamena had raised him. Everything begins to go dark now, but one thing is for certain…Pinkamena truly has a unique taste in pets, but she shows them with love, & in truth; that’s what all pets want from their owners. A Lesson to learn when one has a pet, and with that…everything ends here….
