Remember When?
She was a wreck.
A number of times she cried this had to be the worst, she had decided to lock herself in her room for the rest of the afternoon, the sound of wailing and suffering still echoed throughout the house even hours after she came home, there was a constant noise coming from the other side of the door it was her brother, banning against it trying to get her to open it. He had been worried about her since she ran into the house with her hands covering her face. No matter how loud he knocked, Shy didn't open the door.
"Fluttershy. Open the door." He called as there was a quick gasp for air.
"Go away, Shepherd!" The muffled voice shouted.
"Shy, please. Tell me what happened?" He asked then he heard footsteps coming to the door.
Fluttershy unlocked the door and opened it slightly. "I had an argument," She said as Shepherd crossed his arms.
"You're this worked up because of an argument?"
"It's not like that!" He flinched. "I had an argument." Her voice became a whisper at the end of the sentence.
"Still just an argument," He said as Shy slammed her bedroom door in his face. "Just an argument!"

Shy threw herself onto her bed and cried into her pillow. "Just an argument!" She replayed those words in her head. "Just a fucking argument!" She shouted as the loud knocking came to her door once again. "Go away, Shepherd!"
"It's Sunset." The voice called.
Shy shot up and cleaned her sorrow away. "Come in!" She said as the door opened. "Hi, Sunset," She said still cleaning her face.
"Are you okay?"
"Does it look like I'm okay?" She asked as Sunset rubbed the back of her neck.
"Yeah sorry... You do know that the others want to see you." Sunset said as Shy's eyes grew in size and water began to fill them.
"No!" She threw herself into her pillow. "I don't want to see them."
"It wasn't your fault, Shy," Sunset said making sure she knew. "The Dazzlings caused you to shout at her-"
"That isn't the point, Sunset!" She lifted her head in unison, "They cause you to say whatever you have against the person, I called her a stupid bitch that always pushed me past the breaking point... I didn't want to say it... Especially to her." Sunset gave her a warming hug.
"You need to speak to her, Shy... She said stuff that she regrets, but everyone knew it was an accident."
Fluttershy looks Sunset in the eyes, "I don't think she wants to see me." She said looking down.
Sunset got up then grabbed Fluttershy's hand, "You are speaking to them." She dragged her out of her room.
"I don't want to go!" She said trying to get Sunset off her, "You-Can't-Make-Me"

She waited nervously at Sugar Cube Corner, she wasn't ready to face her yet, not after that night. Yeah, she regrets what she said to her, but what she said was heartbreaking.
"You know what Rarity! You're a stupid bitch that always pushed me past the breaking point! I'm sick of it, Always telling me what to do!"
"You're no different, Fluttershy! You shy, annoying, little fuck! You're a disgrace to the human race, you worthless sack of flesh!"
"How dare you, how fucking dare you! That's harsh Rarity! You must have been born on a highway because that's where most accidents happen."
"What I said was harsh! But if you really want to know about mistakes, you should ask your parents."
"With a face like yours, I wish I was blind."
"Why don't you slip into something more comfortable? Like a coma!"
"You're like STDs, nobody wants you, everyone hates you and it proves your parents should have used protection."
Rarity gasped, she was pissed now, "Roses are red, violets are blue, God made me pretty and what the hell happened to you?"
"Both of you stop, you're hurting each other, doesn't that matter to any of you? And wow Rarity, a bit harsh" Sunset stopped the argument just in time before shit went down
Rarity let tears escape her eyes. Why did she say all those nasty insults towards the one who she loves, well did love, Fluttershy must hate her now and never want to see her again, even though Sunset promised to get her here. She ordered her third cup of coffee and paid up front, as she sat down she saw Sunset dragging someone into the store, it was Fluttershy. She looked like she was crying, Rarity stood up as Sunset got her to the table and sat her down.
"Stay!" She walked away as Rarity sat down and looked at Fluttershy, her eyes focused as she took a sip of her drink, she stopped.
"Fluttershy?" She started as Shy looked up, her eyes seemed to be brighter and larger due to the fact she has been crying, "I want you to know, I didn't mean all those things I said, I feel terrible for saying that you should be in a coma, it was awful for me to say." She said as Fluttershy closed her eyes.
"I-I-I." She tried to speak, Fluttershy couldn't even speak to the girl. "I'm sorry too, I shouldn't have called you anything to begin with." She began crying again. "I don't know why I said those horrible things, I am an awful person!"
That broke Rarity's heart. No, she wasn't. She was far from awful, Fluttershy was perfect, a beautiful, kind person. No one will tell her otherwise. "No, you're not!" Fluttershy flinched, "You're perfect, beautiful, kind-hearted person and any man will be lucky to have you as their own. I love you, Sunset loves you, our friends love you and I bet they will say the same thing, you're not an awful person." Shy teared up.
"Well, I-I'm actually... Um, I love you." She said with slight hints of confidence in her voice, Rarity stared blankly at her.
Those three words echoed through her mind, "I love you," her head was in the clouds, Fluttershy got up and began to leave, Rarity continued to stare until she heard the door shut, that broke her out of her daydream. Sunset caught her sight, she was miming "She left the building, go after her." Rarity got up and ran to the door.
Looking left and right she saw Fluttershy halfway down the street, by the look of it, she was on her way home, Rarity ran down and grabbed her arm, Fluttershy turned around, "I love you too."
Shy smiled and gave her a hug, it lasted for a few minutes until Rarity pulled away, "Come on, let's wipe them tears and talk this over." Rarity said as Fluttershy nodded.
"Okay."
