I was exhausted, lying in the grass, as the elements moved closer.

"Wait a second, can’t I have a last word?" I asked.

"It entirely depends on what you are going to say" Twilight said, looking down at me.

I looked up at twilight, and started to speak, slowly, and clearly.

"You have two options, one is to let me go..." I was interrupted by twilight.

"We can’t do that, you are too dangerous" I opened my eyes more and spoke with a much louder voice.

"The second is to kill me! I refuse to become one of Celestia's puppets!" I looked away "not again" I said, with a much lower volume, but twilight still heard it. Her curious nature got the better of her.

"What do you mean, one of her puppets, and again?" she asked, still ready for anything.

"she has done this once before, I was able to break the elements spell two years ago, and become myself again, I pretended to be her puppet until now, so I could get away, as far as possible" I looked up again "after all, if you can use the most powerful being on the planet, for your own gains, why wouldn't you?"

"I will ask again, what do you mean by one of her puppets?" twilight said.

"exactly what I said, for the past 1017 years, I have been her puppet, forced to do what she asked me to, because the elements had 'reformed' me" I said, turning around, getting up from the grass, but was unable to stand up fully, so I was now kneeling in front of Twilight and her friends. "Let me ask this, what proof did you have of Sombra's guilt, other than Celestia's word?" I could see twilight was about to respond, but I cut her off. "And what happened to the crystal ponies?" she closed her mouth, deep in thought. ”what about discord? He was just spreading some chaos, after centuries, of almost no chaos happening, which is what gives him his power" I looked around, seeing them all stare at me in disbelief.

"So what you are saying is, no one we have used the elements on, has ever deserved it?" twilight asked, a hint of anger in her voice.

"Correct, think about it, discord is 'reformed' by the help of Fluttershy, but he still creates chaos from time to time, but on a smaller scale, why do you think he is doing that? Any idea at all, other than 'it’s because he is the embodiment of chaos'" this time twilight looked deep in thought, I was just about to speak when Fluttershy steeped up.

"So you are saying, that he is not reformed?" she asked, not as shy as she used to be.

"No, it worked, but he is still powered by chaos, if chaos were to completely stop, he would eventually, run out of magic, and die, him making so much chaos when he was freed from the stone, was simply to fill his reserves, without it he would have died after a few minutes". Finally twilight was done thinking.

"So you are saying, we are just brainwashing people in the name of Celestia?" sounding rather mad, either at me, or Celestia.

"No, however you have been doing as she has asked you, and you have not really questioned it, why is it, you all follow her blindly?"

"Because she is the princess, she is the ruler of Equestria". Twilight responded.

"And why do you think she is that? Would you follow Luna without asking why she wants something done?"

"That entirely depends on what she wants"

"Point made, if Celestia wants something, you just get it for her, if Luna wants it, you do the right thing, and ask what and why" twilight was now staring, in a combination of shock, and wonder.

"I think it’s time for a story, if I do this right, one of my wishes will be fulfilled" I said sitting down.

"I love stories!" pinkie shouted, somehow getting a couch and popcorn out of her mane, but I knew better than to question the logic behind her actions, after all, I was partly to blame for said logic.

"Let’s start from the beginning of it all, from before I got to Equestria"






Paris Earth 2018.






"I see you brought some money, but did you include the interest?" the man in front of me said, inspecting the bag full of money.

"Of course I did, I'm not that stupid, now hand her over" I said, looking at her, hoping this would be the end of it.

"Well, how about my working fee? Did you include that?" he said, his face suddenly getting a very smug smile.

"No, because I pay the money, to your boss, then it is up to him how much your work is worth, after all, this mess could have been avoided, if you had not messed up the job, so I had to clean up after you"

"Why you little, how can you be so confident, I won’t kill her, just to see what happens?"

"Because I doubt you want your boss hunting you down, for disobeying him, I got the money, which you now have, so my part of the deal is done, as agreed with him, I was to get the girl, and we would never see each other again, unless you want to visit Norway"

"Maybe I should shoot her, I can always say, you tried to kill us, and take her, without paying" the man said, pointing the gun at the girl, her eyes wide in fear.

"you know as well as I do, that he never lets anything happen by chance, so all the meeting places, has cameras" I said, pointing up towards a small black object on one of the supports. "There is just one of the camera's making sure it all goes as planned" he lowered the gun, looking around, he saw 4 more camera's, in different locations.

"You do make a point. However, you don't seem to remember me at all, or maybe you know who I am" he asked, as I just looked around at his companions.

"Really? I just said, I was the one, who unfucked the job you fucked up, and now you are asking if I know you!?"I shouted at him "either you are as stupid as your boss says, or maybe you are just really, really bad with luck, but as far as I can remember, your boss and I had a deal, so why I’m still standing here, without the girl, is a mystery to me, and I'm sure he will call you any minute now, to tell you the same thing" almost as if on cue, his phone started to ring.

"Just one sec" he said, holstering his gun, I could almost hear his boss scream at him, to stop fucking around, and be done with the job. But what happened next, was something I did not expect, he shot the phone, and told his men to start shooting the cameras. "now it’s just you, me, the girl and my men, are you still so tough?" he asked pointing the gun at me, luckily, I knew his boss had men in the building, ready to move, since this was not his first time, disobeying orders, so I just needed to stall for time, and I would be home free.

"It entirely depends, are you a man, who will fight me fair, or a coward, who will just shoot me, or order his men to do it, in case you miss?" I knew I was making him, very mad, but I was hoping his honor was at least somewhere in there.

"Do you really think it's wise to taunt a guy with a gun?" he asked, waving it around a bit.

"No, but what choice do I have? Unless you lose it, you cannot fight me fairly, unless of course" I said, looking at one of his guys "he gives me a gun, we can do this western style, and see who lives"

"aah, there's the fella I knew, and I was hoping you would say that, so I brought these" he said, receiving a small case from one of his guys, opening it, revealed two revolvers, he smirked at me. "So are you ready for this? You even get to pick which one you want to use, just in case you think one is loaded with blanks"

I slowly walked over to him, and picked up the one closest to him, and checked it, looking at the ammo, pulling the hammer back, and pulling the trigger, it clicked, but I could not be sure if the firing pin was in there, but it looked fine. I did the same with the other one, before picking the first one I held.

"It seems you are as thorough as you always are" he said, picking up the other gun, and handing the case back to the guy.

"It’s what I’m paid to be, so it would be pointless if I stopped midway, don't ya think?"

"True enough"

"So how are we doing this, draw? Back to back, 10 paces?"

"neither, we are doing this my way, we both hold the gun, shooting from the hip, and when my guy here, drops the coin, we both shoot, and since we only get one shot, whoever has the best aim, wins"

"Interesting, what’s the distance?"

"One side of the tower, to the other, we should have just enough time, until my boss's men get here"

"Very well, may the best man win" I said, backing up to the railing, while he just turned his back on me, and walked over.

"Nick, if you may?" he asked, and one of his guy's, who I assume is Nick, walked out in the middle of us, holding a coin.

As he tossed the coin in the air, and dashed out of the way, time seemed to slow down, I made some small adjustments, to my aim, and waited for the coin to hit the ground.

*pling*

We both shot, sounding like a single shot, I hit him in the middle of his chest, while he hit my right shoulder. The kick from the round, sent me over the railing, dropping the gun in the process.

"Damn, I was hoping I would be able to get my daughter back, before I had to die" I thought to myself, as I fell down from the Eifel tower. Time still seemed slow, so I could see the men, rushing up the stairs, almost at the top, all carrying different guns.

That’s when a bright light, blinded me and I felt like, gravity reversed.

Equestria, 20 years before Luna's banishment.(1020 years ago)






The next thing I remember, was waking up, lying on some very soft green grass.

I started to look around, wondering where I was, since the last thing I remembered, I was falling from the Eiffel tower, after being shot in my right shoulder, which was still bleeding, but it did not hurt as much as it should have.

"I don’t know what it is, it just appeared out of thin air, a few minutes ago" I heard a female sound, to my left, I looked over, and all I saw was two pastel colored horses, one was a bright blue color, while the other was some kind of pink color, but the size seemed off.

"Are you sure?" I heard, and the mouth movement matched the blue colored horse’s mouth movements.

"Yes I’m sure" I heard the same female sound, coming from the pink one.

"It’s obvious, whatever it is, is hurt, look at all that blood" the blue one said, pointing a hoof my way.

"We should help it then, right?" the pink one said, looking at the blue one.

"Let’s first see if it’s friendly, don’t want it eating us" the blue one said, slowly moving towards me.

"I’m not going to eat you, not yet" I said, not knowing if this was a dream or real, I decided, if it was real, I could not understand them, so might as well get some fun out of it.

"It can talk!" the pink one shouted.

"Yes I heard it, are you bleeding, whatever you are?" the blue one asked.

"Uhh yes?" I asked, not sure what they would do.

"Okay, hold still, this might sting a bit" and then his horn, which I only just noticed, lit up, and I started to feel a strange tingling feeling in my shoulder, before I looked at it, and saw it was glowing too.

"Whoa, what is this?" I asked, gesturing towards the glow on my now healing shoulder.

"It’s magic, all unicorns can use it, though some are better than others" the pink one replied. and that’s when I noticed the wings.

"And you can fly, I assume?" I said, pointing at her wings

"Sure can, though I’m not that great yet, I can still fly pretty well." she replied, spreading her wings out, and flapping them a few times, before placing them by her side again.

"Okay, so either I am dreaming, or I somehow got transported to this world, for reasons I have no idea about" I said, looking around again. I saw I was near a forest, just on the clearing of it, and there was a small town nearby, I decided, I might as well learn what I can, if all else fails, I could write a book about this place, and maybe get some income from it.

"So what’s the name of the town?" I said, pointing at it, they both looked over, before looking back at my finger.

"That’s Stalliongrad" the blue one replied. Stalliongrad? what an odd name, almost like Stalingrad from Russia, I thought to myself, as I wondered if there was a connection.

"Interesting name, sounds like a place I know of, but I doubt they are the same" I said, my shoulder now fully healed.

"What is that thing you keep pointing with?" the pink one asked, I’m sure she was referring to my fingers.

"It’s a finger, and appendage, I and my species have"

"Ooohh" she said, in amazement, her eyes stuck to my fingers.

"So what are you? I don’t think I have seen something like you around" the blue one asked.

"I am a human, or homo sapiens, if you want to be scientific about it, and I’m not sure how I got here, last I know, I was falling from a tower, and then suddenly I was here" I answered honestly, starting to realize, this might not be a dream after all.

"Interesting, I have heard about different dimensions, but never have anything just jumped between them, just by falling from a tower" the blue one replied.

“Well I have not tried it before, nor heard of it, so if you could somehow get me home again, that would be great, I was in the middle of something before I got here”

“Unfortunately, I have no clue how to get you home, I know of dimensional travel, but I’m not skilled enough to actually do it, not by a long shot” the blue one said.

“Maybe princess Celestia can help you?” the pink said, looking slightly up, as in thought.

“Who is she? she must be important, or she would not be a princess, but why not a queen instead?” i asked, looking at the pink one.

“We don’t have a queen, we did, but she passed away many years ago, and they two princesses don’t yet feel mature enough to become queens” the blue one said.

“And she is important, she and Luna are the two princesses of Equestria, they control the world so to speak” the pink one said.

“Wait Luna as in the celestial body?” i asked, having heard about the moon referred to as Luna.

“Well she does have control over the moon, so i think the name is rather fitting” the blue one said.

“And Celestia controls the sun, and they both do it so well, at such a young age, that the former queen decided they should rule the world when she was gone” the pink one said.

“Okay, well now i know that” i said, looking around a bit more. “By the way, what are your names?” i asked, mentally face palming, for not having asked that sooner.

“My name is Quick Learner” the blue one said.

“And my name is Rose Petals” the pink one said, pointing a hoof at herself, as though i would be confused if she didn’t.

“Great, thank you for telling me, and sorry for not asking sooner, i forgot my manners when i somehow ended up in a new world” i said, apologizing.

“It’s fine, i might have forgotten my manners too if i was in your place” Quick said, looking at me with understanding eyes.

“I would most likely forget my manners at home, and leave without them” Rose said, smiling as though she was serious, but joking at the same time.

the sun was starting to set, apparently i arrived rather late in the day.

“I’m sorry to ask this, but is it possible i could sleep at one of your houses? considering i have nowhere to go otherwise”

“Sure, you can sleep at my house” Quick said, smiling.

“And my place too” Rose said, smiling even more.

I leaned in closer to Quick and asked “why is she smiling like that?”

“Oh i forgot to tell you, we live together” Rose said, as if on cue.

“Have your answer” Quick asked, smiling smugly.

“I guess so, thanks for letting me stay” i said, bowing down slightly to show my appreciation.

“Your welcome, but now I’m curious, what is your name” Quick asked, as he lead the way towards the town

Equestria, Present day





"So there you have it, how i got here, as well as my first day here" i said, looking around them, while i told the story, i had made a small campfire, and gotten materials for s'mores, which Pinkie was more than happy to start making, and eating.

"So you came here by accident, and was accepted by two ponies almost instantly?" Twilight asked, looking confused.

"No, all i just said was a lie to tuck at your heartstrings" i said, as sarcastically as possible, and giving her a deadpan stare.

"You silly filly, heartstrings cannot be tucked, only pulled" Pinkie interrupted, putting a smile on my face.

"As random as ever i see Pinkie" i said, smiling at her.

"Yupperoonie" she said, smiling back.

"So wait, was it true or not?" Twilight asked, a confused look on her face.

"It is true, I'm not sure why they accepted me so fast, considering my obvious differences, but they became the closest thing to a family i have ever had" i said, looking down a bit.

"Something ya wanna talk about partner?" Applejack asked, putting a comforting hoof on my shoulder.

"Maybe later AJ, anyway, its starting to get late" i said, pointing to the slowly rising moon.

"Time really flies when someone is telling a story" Rainbow Dash remarked. at that moment Twilight noticed that the scenery around us had changed.

"Wait, where are we?" she asked, sounding a bit mad, but also confused.

"Oh right, we where to deep in the story for any of you to notice, Pinkie not included, for any of you to notice how dark it was getting, so i got us moved to the edge of the Everfree forest, and made a small campfire and some snacks" i said, waving around, to show the changes.

"But how did you do that, i did not notice any magic happening!" Twilight said louder than before.

"One of my perks, i can teleport, without doing it the unicorn way" i explained. "my teleportation, just blur's out things around me, or in this case us, and regains focus, when we arrive, very subtle" i said, smiling at the confused look on her face.

I then decided to move us to Fluttershy's cottage, just to show it to her. the world around us started to blur, and slowly regain focus again, and we where at Fluttershy's cottage

"And that's how i do it, i can do it the unicorn way as well, but it is far too flashy for my taste, and this way, i can easily prank others" i said, noticing Rainbow Dash getting a smile on her face, most likely thinking how i can help with pranks, in a way unicorns can't.

"But the unicorn way is the only way to do it!" Twilight started to ramble about me being a figment of her imagination, ans something about pancakes, kinda lost track after she called me 'imaginary'.

"Just helps prove my point, that i am more powerful than any other creature i have met so far, including but nor limited to Celestia" i said, smiling widely, as Twilight suddenly got very focused on me again.

"What. Did. You. Just. Say!" she slowly, but surely asked, as i continued to smile at her.

"Just what you heard. I'm. More. Powerful. Than. Celestia." i replied, really trying to get her to attack me, just to see about this 'most powerful unicorn in Equestria' Celestia kept going on about.

"But no one is more powerful than Celestia, and certainly not something that's not even real!" Twilight almost shouted at me, really getting mad at me.

"Do i seem fake to you guys?" i asked, looking around at the rest with hint of sadness in my voice, just to see what would happen. Almost as expected, Fluttershy instantly picked up on the sadness, and went to hug me.

"I dont think you are fake, just misunderstood." she said, hugging me kindly.

"FLUTTERSHY!" Twilight screamed, trying to get her away from me, lucky for me, i countered, all the magic she just tried to fire at me.

"Whoa, easy there Twilight, you could have hurt Fluttershy!" i said back with a stern tone, slowly rubbing Fluttershy's mane.

"I would never hurt a friend, now let her go!" Twilight said, getting increasingly mad at me.

"If I'm just a figment of your imagination, as you suggested, then just make me disappear, shouldn't be too hard for a smart unicorn such as yourself" i said, smirking, as i knew what she would do now, she closed her eyes, and as she did, i made myself invisible, and set Fluttershy down, almost laughing at the thought of her expression, when she would see me gone, and think she was crazy.

"Where did you go?" Pinkie asked, looking around in her usual manner.

"Is he gone?" Twilight asked, slowly opening her eyes, not seeing me, made her sigh.

"Wait, where did that feller go off too?" Applejack asked, looking around as well, soon the others started to look around as well.

"So you saw him too? But he was just a figment of my imagination, you shouldn't be able to see him!" Twilight said, starting to look strange, as if she was very confused, but mad at the same time.

"Well, i only live once, and this is too good to pass up" I though to myself, as i walked towards Twilight with a smirk on my face.

SMACK

"YOUCH!" Twilight screamed.

Looking down at my handiwork, i now saw a red hand on Twilights flank, satisfied, i started to laugh like a lunatic, removing my invisibility, and rolling on the grass, where Pinkie decided to join me.

"OH that is just too brillant, making her think she is insane, and then smacking her flank!" Pinkie exclaimed, laughing harder.

"I know right, so far the best day i have had since i found out i had these powers!" i laughed, giving Pinkie a fist bumb, which she of course knew what was, and returned with her hoof bumb.

"What are you two laughing about, that hurt!" Twilight said, slowly rubbing her flank where her new 'mark' appeared.

"I'm sorry Twilight, the temptation was just too big, look at the bright side, now you have two cutie marks!" I started to laugh even more now, after all, you only have the fun you make yourself, or whatever discord decides to do.

"I have to admit Twilight, he is a great prankster" Rainbow dash said, trying to hide her smile with her hoof.

"Okay, fun is over, back to business, sorry for that Twilight, but it was too tempting, i hope you forgive me" i said, snapping my fingers, and her new 'mark' was gone, and her flank no longer hurt.

"I might have, if you had not hit my flank so hard!" Twilight said, the anger in her voice was clear.

"Sorry, like i said, too good to pass" i once again snapped my fingers, and this time, a small box appeared in front of Twilight.

"And what is this? Another prank?" she asked, eyeing the box.

"No, this is a 'I'm sorry' box, made it myself, has some rather advanced magic to it, open it up and look inside" i said pointing at the box.

"If this is a prank, i will personally drag you to Tartarus and keep you there." Twilight said, as she slowly opened the box. what she saw inside made her smile, a very cute smile.

"DAAWW!" was the only thing she could say, as a very small, cuddly version of Celestia hopped out of the box.

"DAAWW!" the rest of her friends instantly said, as they saw the little Celestia.

"Kinda sweet huh? took me a while to make it, since everypony has different things to help them cheer up, if someone else, say Pinkie opened the box, something she likes would come out instead." i said, closing the lid "And dont worry, this is a 'new' Celestia, made in the way, you see her, with an added cute effect from the box, and she will disappear after 12 hours"

"What? after 12 hours she is gone?" Twilight asked, a small tear appearing in her right eye.

"Yes, but dont worry, she will remember everything you do, and next time you want her from the box, just think of her, and she will be there." i explained, trying to stop her from crying.

"Really?" she asked, looking at me.

"Of course, just because I'm evil at times, does not mean i am evil ALL the time" i said, smiling at her. "Now then, its getting late, and I'm getting tired, who has the first watch of the 'big scary human'?" i asked.

"Me!" Pinkie quickly replied, raising her hoof and jumping around.

"No Pinkie, i think we should sleep at the library, with our elements on, just in case he tries something." Twilight said, still huggin and smiling at mini Celestia.

"So a sleepover at your place, sweet" i said, quickly 'magicking' my sleeping clothes on, which consisted of a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. Rarity, for obvious reasons, almost fainted, seeing such 'foul' clothing.

All of us where walking towards the library now, me in front in my sleepwear, and the elements behind me, ready in case I did something. Mini Celestia was sitting on top of Twilight, and occasionally hugged her ears, and generally was a cute sight. Though some residence in ponyville, looked at the strange sight of a small Celestia, and some biped walking towards the library, most just ignored us.

"So, whats first? Scary stories? Makeover? Gossip?" I asked, trying to lighten the mood.

"How about snacks?" pinkie pie asked, looking around.

"Was the s'mores not enough for you Pinkie?" I asked, looking back at her.

"Nope" she just replied, bouncing along.

"Very well, give him cake too" I said with a strange voice, as a cake appeared in front of pinkie, who happily wolfed it down, in ONE bite.

"What the?" was all Rainbow Dash could say, before facehoofing herself. "It's Pinkie, dont think about it too hard" she whispered to herself before continuing along.

"So, anyone other than Pinkie have any ideas, or suggestions on what to do first? Be warned, this is my first sleepover" I said, looking back at them.

"This is not a sleepover!" Twilight said, sounding a bit angry.

"Describe to me a sleepover then." I replied, looking at her.

"A sleepover, is when you and your friends sleep at one of your places, having fun and doing things together" she replied.

"So this, but without me in the way or?" I asked, still looking at her.

"Basically yes." I got a somewhat evil smile on my face.

"So if I where to say" I snapped my fingers and turned invisible "Disappear, you could have a fun sleepover?"

"Stop that, wherever you are!" Twilight shouted, looking around for me, while I was standing still, and just turned myself visible again.

"Come on, cant we just have fun? i mean, if I wanted to, I could just make replicas of you, go to a pocket dimension, rebuild Equestria and have my way there, but its more fun with the real deal, since I dont have to control you guys, but I would have to control my replicas" I said, making it seem like I was deep in thought. "Then again, I could just do it, and do whatever i wanted" I shot them a somewhat perverted smile, which made them all blush at the thought of me doing 'things' to them, and them not even knowing about it.

"Stop that right now!" Twilight said, as her face was almost as red as an apple.

"Stop what? its my mind, I can do whatever I want in it, even this" I said, smiling even more, as i imagined them all, in a MUCH more fluffy version, while actually making them fluffy.

"YAY! now I can sleep anywhere, and not be cold!" Pinkie said, jumping up and down, in her new Fluffy version.

"AHHHHH!" Rarity screamed, knowing full well why she was screaming, I started to smile at the scene.

"Whoah." Rainbow said, as her wings where too fluffy for her to fly anymore.

"Whoops, forgot when I imagine things, with my eyes open, it happens" I said, smiling like an idiot.

"TURN US BACK NOW!" Rarity screamed at me, trying to hit me with a hoof, but just bouncing off, due to her fancy new fluffy hooves.

"Why, you are all so cuddly now" I said, scooping them up in my telesenekis field, slowly moving towards the library again.

"I think its kinda nice, I feel so fluffy." Fluttershy said, smiling somehow loosing her shyness when she became fluffy.

"And i think you are all adorable this way" I said, hovering them towards me, and holding on to them, as if they where large teddy bears. "so cute and fluffy" I said, just enjoying the fluffy mess that was me, and them.

"Could you please turn us back?" Rarity asked, sounding like she was about to cry.

"Okay, fine" I said, turning them back, but still holding them somewhat close, out of hoof's reach, but within arms reach.

"AWW!" Pinkie said, sounding a bit sad.

"Dont worry, I can always turn you back" I whispered in her ear, which instantly made her happy again.

"Could you put us down?" Rainbow dash asked.

"Kinda silly for me to put you down, when you fly around anyway." I said, looking at her, with a smug smile.

"Still, its kinda confusing for me to be flying, without using my wings"

"Fine, anything else while we are at it?" I asked, slowly putting them down.

"Can you turn into something cute?" Pinkie asked, and I did as asked, turning into a VERY fluffy bunny.

"Aww, so cute" Fluttershy instantly picked me up, and started to cuddle with me.

"I can get used to this" I said, enjoying the cuddle.

"Fluttershy put him down, remember he is an enemy" Twilight said, facehoofing.

"Am I really that bad?" I asked, looking at her, with fake tears in my eyes.

"No, you're cute, just ignore the mean mare" Fluttershy said, comforting me.

"wow they are REALLY gullible" I thought to myself, as I stopped my 'crying'

"Thank you Fluttershy, you are really kind, unlike some around here" I said, giving Twilight the stink eye, but due to my bunny form, it just looked cute.

"Are you saying I'm not kind?" Twilight asked, looking at me.

"I'm not saying you are not kind, but you are not kind either, considering I have so far just been having fun, making Pinkie laugh, and Fluttershy daw at me." i said, jumping out of Fluttershy's grasp, turning back into my human form "I even gave you a box of wonderful things, and the only thing i have done, as far as i know" I said, sitting down midair, using my telekinesis to hold me up "is escape from Celestia, run here to try and get away from the crazy mare, and get attacked by you" I said, looking around at the ponies around me.

"Did you just call Celestia a 'crazy mare'?" Twilight asked.

"Yes, and with good reason, but not out here, where anypony can hear it, lets continue this inside shall we?" I asked, teleporting us inside the library.

"Okay, on one condition" Twilight said, looking sternly at me.

"And what is that?" I asked, looking back at her.

"Stop doing random things!" She said, rather loudly.

"Why? its one of the things I am best at, only outdone by Discord himself" I said, rather proudly.

"That may be, but its really confusing" she replied.

"I will tone it down, but not stop completely, gotta keep the element of surprise" I said, getting some popcorn from behind my back.

"Okay, I can live with that, its not worse than Pinkie" Twilight replied, as she got over to her couch, and sat down, along with the rest of the gang, finding spots around the place, me just hovering above the ground.

"So, about the crazy mare Celestia" Twilight started to look angry, but i continued. "the main reason why i keep calling her crazy, is because she is" I stated, and instantly cut off Twilight "No you do not know her as well as I do, I have lived with her for over a thousand years,you have known her since birth." I materialized my favorite chair, sitting in it.

"So why is she crazy?" Rarity asked.

"Well for one, she banished her sister to the moon, or rather, had me do it, which is even worse, but we will get to that". I said, looking at Rarity.

"So you where the one to banish her?" Twilight asked.

"In a sense yes, lets take it from the top" I said, leaning back in my chair.

Equestria, 19 years before Luna's banishment. (1019 years ago)





"So thou is this 'friendly creature' the citizens are conversing about?" Luna asked, looking straight into my eyes.

"I am yes" I replied, bowing slightly, having heard of the royals of this world.

"I see thou hast manners, so thou cannot be a wild beast" Luna said, looking me over.

"Of course, in the presence of royalty, one should always be modest, and kind" I said, looking up at her, still bowing.

"Thou may arise, tis not fair to keep thine head down, whilst i keep mine held up high" Luna said, still looking at me.

"Thank you, your highness" I replied, standing up straight.

Taking in her features, the features of an alicorn. First time seeing one in the flesh, since i had read about them in the various books that Quick and Rose owned, and since i stayed with them, they told me, what most would in that situation.

"What we have, you have, what is ours, is yours" They both said with a smile, first time i asked, if they would mind me lending a book.

"Now to the matter at hand" Luna said, snapping me out of my flashback.

"Of course your majesty" I replied, as i stopped staring at her, and took a more relaxed stand.

"How did thou save mine citizens from the falling rocks?" She asked, as i recalled the entire thing.

It was dark down in the mine, but it was work, and people had stopped looking at me like i was a freak, after i had mined faster than Deep Digger, who had the record for mining until i showed up. it was another day of work, with good pay, due to the mines stability issues. it payed double of what the other jobs could, and since i wanted to maintain my muscles, i decided it would be a good way to earn enough, to pay back Quick and Rose, even if they always said, it was not necessary. I still felt a bit guilty not having anything to pay them the first few weeks.

It started as any other day, i walked over to the tool rack and picked up the pick with my name on it, and started to mine just as i did the day before, and had been doing for a while now. It was nice being down there, we all helped each other out so the boss would not fire any of us, since we became like a family. If one of us had problems, the rest of us helped as well as we could, and in return, they helped us, if we needed it.

"Tunnel 23A needs more digging, there are still more minerals to collect" Deep Digger shouted into the mine, when the boss had a plan, Deep Digger was the one to tell us about it. And if we had concerns, we would voice them to Deep Digger, and he would pass it on to the boss.

"Just a second, just gonna mine the last piece here first" I shouted back, no reply, as usual.

I kept up the work, slowly, getting all the rocks around the mineral out of the way. Until i heard a loud crack from behind me, i looked back, to see a piece of the roof hanging loose, not an uncommon occurrence but it still worried me. I got the mineral, and began to move back up with it, since carts would have been to expensive for the mine to use at this stage, it was all moved by hand, or hoof.

"Wait up, nearly done here, lets head up together" A voice said, i recognized it as Tunnel Maker.

He was a strange guy, since he preferred to be in the mines, instead of being on the surface. Which was fine by me, since he did his job well enough for me to not care too much. He made sure the mine was safe to work in, by making all the supports for the wall and ceiling. He was a pegasi, who was not too fond of flying, he liked it the most, when he could see something soft below him, or water in case he forgot to flap his wings. i never could remember what the thing was called, but he had some sort of illness, which made his wings lock up at random, and 'unlock' again, after a few minutes.

"Gotcha, so how safe is this tunnel?" i asked, starting up some casual conversation.

"Not as safe as 23A, but not as unsafe as 12C either" he replied, making me remember it, rocks kept falling down, no matter what we did to secure the ceiling, so we decided to close it off, until we could make it safe enough to work in.

"Good enough for me, damn rocks hurt my head" i said, adding a small laugh at the end, which Tunnel Maker joined in on.

"Rocks hurts every head they hit, not only yours" he replied, stopping his laugh. "I'm ready to move out now, how far are you going?" he asked.

"Up to the junction, then over to tunnel 23A, you?"

"All the way, gotta get more supports for the ceiling, really wish i could just ask someone to get it, but most cannot tell the difference between a 4x2 and a 8x4" he said, smiling at his own joke.

"One is larger than the other, should not be too hard if you know sizes by heart" i replied, scratching his head a bit.

"You really should get in the massage business, you know that?" he said, as he enjoyed my touch, as did most ponies.

"Yeah, but for now, this is what i want to do, maybe later on." i said, stopping my scratching.

"HELP!" someone shouted up ahead.

"WHAT?" i replied

"SOMEPONY IS TRAPPED IN TUNNEL 12C!" the voice continued.

"WHO WENT IN THERE?"

"NOT SURE, BUT SOMEONE IS TRAPPED!"

"ON MY WAY" i shouted back, as i started to run, along with Tunnel Maker.

since we did not have any unicorns working in the mine, if people where trapped, the strongest where the first to get called over, to get a hole in the blockade so air could get into the sealed area, since i was one of the stronger around, and for some reason the fastest in the tunnels, i was usually the first one there.

"ARE YOU OKAY IN THERE?" i shouted.

"I'M OKAY, BUT MY LEG IS STUCK!" a feminine voice replied.

"HOW FAR DOWN ARE YOU?"

"ABOUT 12 HOOVES DOWN" as hooves where the unit of measurement, i found out its the same as a feet, so it was not too hard to adjust to the new term.

"HANG ON, WE ARE ON OUR WAY" i said, as i started to dig through the rocks in my way. "Tunnel, get some more miners over here now, this might take a while" i said to him, as i continued to mine the rock away.

"On it!" he replied, and ran off as fast as he could. then i heard a sound, i hoped not to hear.

*THUD*

"Shit!" i shouted, feeling the force of the rock, now blocking my exit.

"WHAT HAPPENED?" the voice from in front of me asked.

"ANOTHER ROCK FELL, I'M TRAPPED HERE AS WELL" i replied.

"I'M SORRY!" she shouted.

"IT'S FINE! HOW MUCH SPACE DO YOU HAVE?"

"ABOUT 40 HOOVES TO THE END" 40 hooves meant about 15-20 minutes of air left, i had about 3 minutes in my small space.

"LISTEN UP, TRY TO GET THROUGH FROM YOUR SIDE! I ONLY HAVE ABOUT 5 MINUTES OF AIR LEFT" i lied, hoping to get her to help me get more air.

"I'LL TRY!" she replied, as i heard her slowly dig her way out to me.

"DAMNIT!" I shouted, as i could feel the headache building. And i still had no new way of getting fresh air. I started to push the rock, as hard as i could, hoping it would move, so i could get just a small amount of air, so i could clear my head.

"ARE YOU OKAY?" The voice asked, still doing her best to dig towards me, as i dig towards her.

"NO, YOU HAVE MORE FRESH AIR THAN ME!" I shouted, continuing to mine again, as pushing had no effect.

"THEN CONSERVE YOUR AIR!" She shouted back. "I'M ALMOST THROUGH I THINK!" She sounded very tired by now, considering it had been nonstop mining for about 3 minutes, i can understand it.

"NO! THE FASTER WE BOTH DIG, THE GREATER CHANCE WE BOTH MAKE IT!" I shouted back, doing my best to keep my head clear, and continue mining. As my vision was getting more and more blurry.

"BUT IF YOU RUN OUT OF AIR BEFORE I REACH YOU, THE LESS CHANCE THERE IS THAT I WILL MAKE IT!" She shouted back, at this point i was rather pissed at life, it had been great here in Equestria all things considering, and now it was coming to an end, one i would rather not see.

"GOD FUCKING DAMNIT!" i screamed at the top of my lungs, tossing my pickaxe aside, and started to glare at the rock, just wishing it was gone, so i could get some fresh air. Then something amazing happened, my vision got even more blurry, but only while looking at the rock. "What the hell?" i asked myself, before it disappeared into thin air, and a gust of air hit me.

"How did that just happen?" The feminine voice asked. who i now recognized as Deep Digger's Daughter. She was still not very well at digging, but she did her best, trying to get her father's approval.

"I have no clue, but I'm glad it did or i might have died." i said, looking at her. "What are you doing down in 12C?" I asked her, looking at her leg.

"I thought it had been deemed safe, so i decided to get some minerals." She said, looking away with red cheeks.

"Get over here, let me see that leg, and also, i doubt that, what were you really doing?" i said, motioning for her to come closer.

"Okay, but dont tell my dad okay?" she said, as she slowly moved towards me, keeping her weight off her bad leg.

"Depends on what you were doing, its dangerous to be down here you know" I shot her a smile, as i slowly moved my hand along her leg, to get an idea of the damage.

"I know it is, which is why I'm here, i was trying to fix the supports for the ceiling, hoping my dad would stop making me mine, and get me on support duty." she replied.

"Ahh, not much of a miner are you?" i asked her, looking around for some pieces of wood so i could make a brace or something to help keep the weight of her leg.

"No, my dad is one of the best, but i can hardly Dig a hole in the ground, without it going wrong" She said, looking down.

"I was not much of a miner when i got here you know" i said to her, trying to lift her mood.

"Wait, are you lying right now?" she asked, a confused look on her face.

"Nope, i learned it after i got a job here, never had a use for it back home, since i did something else." i replied, keeping my past from her.

"Really?" she asked.

"I'm telling the truth, like i said, never had a use for it back home, and why would i lie to you?" I asked her, bopping her nose. for some reason it always made me smile, when the ponies scrunched up their nose.

"You could try to keep me in a good mood" She said, with a deadpan expression.

"I could, or i could distract you from the massive pain i just inflicted on your leg" I said, as i finished a small brace by tightening the rope.

"YOUCH!" she screamed, almost hitting me with her hoof.

"Sorry, had to be done, at least now you can walk somewhat normally, now to get us out" I said looking at the rock behind us.

"That hurt you know!" she shouted at me, hitting me with her hoof.

"Yeah i know, had to be done, lets see" i said, picking up my pickaxe, and giving a test swing.

*pling*

"What was that?" She asked.

"Bad news, its solid crystals, i cant mine it with this pickaxe" i said, tossing it aside.

"So we are trapped in here until rescue arrives?" she asked, looking down at her hooves.

"Maybe, I'm gonna try something, but i have no clue what might happen, so stay behind me okay?" I said, looking back at the crystal. "If this works, Deep might fire me"

"Why?" She asked, as she moved behind me.

"Because i might make it do the same as the rock did, disappear" I replied, trying to focus on the crystal, not being there.

"Wait, YOU DID THAT?" She asked, raising her voice.

"I dont know, i was wishing the rock was gone, and it started to get blurry and poof, gone" I said, still focusing on the crystal not being there.

"Wow" She simply said, i opened my eyes to see if it was working, and behold, nothing, no blurry look, still there.

"Damn, maybe if i do it like this" I said, getting my anger level raised, and once again focused on it being gone.

"Are you doing that?" She asked, as i opened my eyes, and the rock was starting to get blurry.

"I think so." i said, moving towards it, picking up my pickaxe on the way.

slowly, i stuck the pickaxe towards it, hoping to nudge it, but it went right through.

"Freaky" i said, as i tossed the pickaxe through. and just as i did, it disappeared, just like the other rock. And right there, on the other side was Deep Digger, looking as worried as he could.

"DAD!" she shouted, running towards him, as i slowly moved towards the rest of the crew as well.

"Someone wanna tell me what unicorn just did that?" a male voice said.

"I think i did it, but I'm not sure yet, i need to test it more before i can be certain" I replied to the group.

"I dont care, you saved my little girl, and for that, you have my thanks" Deep Digger said, still holding his daughter in his hooves.

Luna looked at me with a confused look.

"We cannot detect any magical energy in the tunnel, so whatever thou used was not magic of our world" she said, looking at her notes.

"I'm not entirely sure how either, but it seemed if i wished it hard enough, it just happened." i looked around the area. considering if i should tell her how i experimented with the 'magic' i had somehow gotten, and decided, i might as well. "I have been experimenting with it, it seems if I'm angry, the effect happens faster, such as making objects disappear, but creating objects is the same speed whether i am angry or not, so long as i focus on the object enough."

"Interesting, doth thou have an object thou hast made?" she asked, looking at me.

"I can do one better, here" i said, making a small moon shaped crystal appear. "Keep it, it fits in your style" i said, as i handed the crystal over to her.

"Thank you" she said, blushing a bit.

"You are welcome, so how do we proceed from here?" i asked her, almost certain i would no longer be allowed to just roam around as i had done so far.

"We are not sure yet, mine sister and i have to come to an agreement on you, and whether or not thou are dangerous to our ponies."

"Can i at least say goodbye to them? They have been my friends for my entire stay here" i asked her.

"Of course, we intend to leave at first light tomorrow, so thou have until then to say thy goodbyes."

"Thank you princess" i said, bowing "If that is all for now, may i begin my farewells?" i asked.

"By all means" she said, gesturing towards the city.

"Thank you, i will see you tomorrow morning just before sunrise" i replied, as i left for the city.





Present day





"And that is how i met Luna, any questions so far?" i asked, looking around the room.

"I have a few" Twilight said, raising her hoof.

"I expected as much, fire away"

"What magical energy are you using?"

"My own, and so far it cannot be traced, nor can it be replicated, but it can now be identified as mine" I replied, holding a small ball of magical energy towards her. "Use this for whatever you may want, it will fade away in a few days, maybe you can give an answer where Celestia failed."

"Thank you, next question why was it Luna you met first?"

"Celestia was busy harvesting unicorn magic for herself at the time, or as Luna said it, she was indisposed at the time" I replied. Rarity turned a bit green

"Are you certain?" Rarity asked, looking at me.

"I can confirm she has done it, whether she was doing it then, i cannot be certain, but it was at them time she was doing it the most" I replied, creating a small bag near rarity, which she promptly used.

"Last question for now, how did Celestia gain control over you? you about as random as discord on a good day, yet he was still himself until Fluttershy convinced him frienship is worth being good for" she asked, looking around the room.

"Great question, and it will be answered in time, it is part of the story, so you will get an answer soon" i replied, looking at Fluttershy. "Where is Dissy anyway? been a while since i last saw him" i asked her.

"He is at home, taking care of the animals" she replied, barely more than a whisper.

"Not for long" i said, snapping my fingers, and making him appear on the table. "whats hanging Dissy?"

"Oh god, dont tell me you are still her puppet?" he said, looking to me, with a frown.

"Nope, not at the moment, how many chaos gods are there at this time?" i asked him.

"About four hundred and twenty" he replied with a smug smile.

"That's way too high" i replied, standing up.

"You really did break the spell, good to have you back again mister Mad" he replied, bowing at the same time i did.

"Great to be back, feel free to go back again, just wanted to announce my return." i said, sitting back down.

"And miss the story again? not a chance" he said, making a chair and sitting down next to Fluttershy.

"As you wish, if there are no more questions i shall continue where i left off" as i said that, Twilight raised her hoof. "if it is about Discord, i will get to that" she promptly lowered her hoof.

"Now then back to the story"

Morning arrived, Deep Digger insisted on making a propper farewell party for me, saying it was the least he could do after saving his daughter.

"Art thou ready to leave?" Luna asked, looking at me.

"Yeah, after that party, i would be ready to die if it came to that, I'm gonna be honest" i said, looking back at the town, i had called home for quite some time now "Im gonna miss it here, sure it was hard work, but it kept my mind off things, and i had friends here"

"We can tell, but do not worry" Luna said, looking at me "Once we are done, thou will return here again, i promise" she said, entering the cart in front of us.

"That would be great, i would hate to leave this place forever" i said, with a small smile slowly making it's way on my face.

"We will do whatever is in our power, to make sure thou will return here, once we are finished with you" she said, facing me in the cart, as it took off.

"Don't make a girl a promise you can't keep" i said, winking at her.

"Art thou saying, thou is a female?" she asked, suddenly looking rather shocked.

"Nope, not last i checked" i said, smiling "It's just a quote from a game i used to play back home"

"Game? like chess?" she asked, looking less shocked.

"Sort of, its on a display, which can show all the colors of the rainbow, and refresh faster than the eye can see" I said, remembering about all the electronics i was now going to live without. "I miss playing games like Halo" I said, looking out the window, and seeing the ground pass by underneath us.

The trip to Canterlot had been interesting, since Luna had instantly picked up on the idea of games. she did not like the way you killed other people, but once i had explained it was not real people, her interest spiked. she loved the idea of a top down view on a battlefield she had control over, and was planning on asking the researchers in Canterlot, if they could make something similar to the 'display' i was talking about. i offered to make one they could study, which she accepted.

As we arrived at Canterlot, i began to feel strange. I could not explain it at the time, it just felt wrong.

"Are thou okay?" Luna asked, looking at me.

"I dont know, i feel off" i replied, looking back out the window. "I feel as if something bad is going to happen as soon as i step outside the cart"

"We know the way you feel" she replied looking out the window too "It has felt like this for many years now, and no one can tell why" she looked at me "Most of us just learn to live with this feeling, but it never gets easier to return here"

"Strange, i would think the Capital, a place with not one, but two princesses would feel more welcoming"

"It used to feel much more welcoming, we are not sure why or how it started to feel like this, it just started one day" she said as the cart landed.

"There must be a reason, considering it used to feel more welcoming" i said, stepping out of the cart, where i was instantly met by a spearhead inches from my face

"Thou may lower thy weapon Captain" Luna said, as she stepped out of the cart.

"Better listen to the fine lady, you could end up hurting someone with it" i said, as i with a slow poke, moved it out of my face.

"I have to refuse princess Luna, i am under direct orders from princess Celestia to keep him under guard" the Captain replied, pointing his spear at me again.

"Luna, may i do something just for the sake of doing it?" i looked at her "I promise it will not hurt him, only his pride"

"We are not sure, it depends on what thy plan to do" she said, looking back and forth between me and the spear.

"Just this" i said, turning his spear into a balloon spear. which promptly popped as i pinched it.

"FOUL CREATURE!" the Captain promptly shouted "THAT WAS MY FAVORITE SPEAR!"

"If you love it, you should have put a ring on it" i replied, making the spear appear behind him, making it clatter to the ground startling him.

"My spear!" he shouted, instantly picking it up and looking it over.

"How did thou do that?" Luna asked.

"I just put the spear in the air, suspended by my 'magic' at the highest point i can and made a balloon appear in its place" I said, looking back at Luna. "I'm no magician, but party tricks i can do in a pinch"

"Thou certainly art an interesting individual" Luna said, as we slowly made our way to the castle.

"I do my best, fortunately most of the time, that's enough" I replied, as we entered the castle.

I was awestruck as we got inside the castle, pure white all around. Not a single spot was dirty in any way, except for the footprints i left and Luna's hooffprints. The ceiling was about 10 feet above me, so any pegasus could fly around instead of walking, and reduce clutter in the halls. The hall itself was plenty wide, it could easily fit Luna six times head to tail, with space to spare on either side. It was decorated with paintings, and different small bust's and tapestries on the walls. It seemed like no exepences where too high for the castle, considering it was all made in pure marble.

"Thou seem to be in awe" Luna said to me, snapping me out of my daze.

"I am" I simply replied. I heard Luna chuckle as we were still walking around the castle.

"Art thou frightened?" Luna asked as we made our way towards our destination.

"A little. See it from my perspective, I'm just a small human, in a world where humans don't exist. Being led towards the leader of the country" i said, as i slowly stopped walking. "I have no clue what might happen to me, or how this could possibly end. Back in my world, i at least had a clue about what could happen, because they were people just like me. Here its a completely different ballgame, I'm the visitor on a completely foreign court, with no clue how to play the game"

"Fear not, thou art in safe hooves here" Luna said as she moved her wing onto my back, giving me a gentle push.

"That's the thing, i cannot be sure of that yet. you could just be saying that to get me to cooperate." i said, still not moving. Luna turned around and looked me in the eyes.

"If thou does not feel safe, thou can tell me, and we can do this another day, i will take care of the hard work"  she replied.

"So if i don't feel safe, we can do this, say tomorrow?" i asked, curious about if it could be rescheduled, it would help calm me down.

"If it helps thou feel better, then yes it can be arranged" she replied, still looking at me, but not directly into my eyes anymore.

"Then i would like to take that option, and if possible meet Celestia before the talk, so i can get a feel of her"

"Thou wish to touch mine sister?" Luna asked confused.

"No! It's just an expression that means so i can judge how she is as a person, or pony in this case." i said, blushing a bit, and looking away.

"Fret not, we are kidding thou" she started to laugh a bit, as i just looked at her dumbly.

"You just made a sexual joke about your sister, to a creature you have no knowledge off" i simply stated, slowly starting to grin.

"Yes we indeed did" Luna said, still chuckling.

"I'm impressed, or rather I'm intrigued"

"Why is that?" Luna asked.

"Because i though you were a strict pony, not one for jokes about your own sister"

"We are a strict pony, however to lighten the mood, we know how to crack a good joke"

Present day





"It appears it is getting quite late." i stated, pointing out the nearest window. "should we hit the hay and continue tomorrow?" i asked.

"It does seem to be rather late, i would say a few minutes until midnight" Twilight stated.

"Thought so, seems i'm not the only one who wants to stop for today" i said, pointing at the sleeping forms of Rainbow Dash and Applejack.

Twilight started to light her horn, but i held out a hand to stop her, which surprisingly worked. I used my magic to soundlessly and as steady as possible, move them to a small bed i made. Making blankets for each in case they did not like to share the same blanket. I also made small beds for the rest, Fluttershy got one in her colors, same with rarity, though her bed was a bit more fancy looking. For Twilight and spike i just moved her bed and his basket into the room. Pinkie already had a bed out of her mane, by the time i got to her, so i just made a blanket, since she left her's at home, apparently. My own bed was slightly larger, so i could fit in it without having to curl up into a ball.

"Well, goodnight everyone, i will make breakfast in the morning so just sleep well" i announced.

"That would be lovely darling" Rarity said, as she snuggled into her bed.

"Thank you, but i really want to help, you know if you want me to" Fluttershy said, as timid as she usually does.

"It's okay Fluttershy, i can handle it" i replied. snapping my fingers to turn off the lights. After a few minutes, i could hear the ponies sleep, and feel myself being pulled towards dreamland.





Two hours later {Spectator's POV}





Twilight awoke to the sound of rapid breathing, and as she looked around for the cause, she saw the human covered in sweat, and breathing like his life depended on it. she slowly made her way over to him, and shook him to wake him up, not sure what he might do, she restrained him a bit using her magic. He shot up, panting heavily as he awoke, tears slowly forming in his eyes. he looked down at Twilight for a second, before realizing where he was.

"Always the same dream, always" he simply said as he slowly laid back down on his bed.

"What dream?" she asked, releasing her restraints.

"My own personal nightmare, made by Princess sunbutt" he said, padding a spot on his bed.

"Would you tell me about it?" Twilight said, as she hopped up in the bed and sat down.

"Might as well, might never get a chance again" He said, as he sat up, making an extra pillow for him to rest against.

"So, how does the dream start?" Twilight asked.

"like any normal dream, stuff happens you never really remember, but after just a short while of me sleeping, the nightmare starts. my dream becomes very vivid, as if it's reality. but stuff is out of place, such as ponies floating about in the sky, without wings, and other stuff similar that does not make sense." he said, sitting back and starting to relax.

"So its still a dream, but it feels real?" Twilight asked.

"Yep, feels real, smells real, but i know it's not real. Anyway the nightmare starts just after i notice it's a dream. Luna comes to see me, floating down from a nearby sky. But as soon as she reaches the ground, Celestia shows up, and zaps her, rendering her unconscious. she then turns to me, slowly with a smile i can only describe as demonic, starts to get closer to me, all while charging her horn. Then as she is just inches from me, she turns around, and before i can even begin to react, Luna is gone." he started to get tears in his eyes again.

"But why would Celestia do such a thing?" Twilight asked.

"Because i love Luna, and she knows it, so my worst nightmare, is to have her taken away from me, and there is nothing i can do about it"  he replied, stopping the tears.

"But that is not how Celestia is, she would never do such a thing" Twilight said, a confused look on her face.

"Seems you still don't believe me, then again, i haven't really told you how evil she really is yet." he replied, looking at Twilight

"I believe only what i know is real, you could be lying to us, and try to get us on your side." Twilight replied.

"Yeah, and until i can give you proof nothing will change that thinking" he said, poking her head. "Still, this nightmare is her doing, i don't know how or why she did it, but until i can figure out how, i cannot stop it, i can only try to live with it. Not even Luna has been able to help me with it, since my mind locks down as the nightmare starts, and kicks out anyone who is there with me."

"Interesting, sounds like a normal nightmare, but amplified and made very specific." Twilight replied. "I'm still not convinced it was Celestia, but i can try to read up on how to alter dreams, and track magic if you'd like"

"Better than nothing, now go on back to bed, we have another long day of story telling ahead of us tomorrow." he said, gently floating her towards her bed, as the spare pillow disappeared.

"If i have to be completely honest, you don't seem so bad. I mean Celestia told us you would destroy us as soon as you saw us, because we would be a threat to you, but you dont seem like the kind of pony who would do such a thing" Twilight said, as she was placed in her bed.

"First reason why i'm not that kind of pony, is because i'm a person" he said with a smile "Second, i have more power than Celestia once my magical powers are recharged again, which might take a few years, considering how much she took and for how long she did".

"I will have to test that out on my own someday, maybe tomorrow while we have a break in the story?" Twilight asked.

"Sure, but make sure your equipment can handle more than 9000 Thoms of magical energy, or you wont get very far until they burn out" He said with a smile. Which left Twilight staring at him with a disbelieving stare, and an open mouth.

"9000 Thoms!?" she shrieked, nearly waking up the others.

"Shh Twilight, keep it down, and yes, if i remember correctly, in my current state i should have about 5% of my total magical power, which is about 15000 Thoms, so if it is rated at above 9000 Thoms, it should be fine for measuring me, as above 9000 Thoms means its rated for Alicorn magic, which tops out at about 25000 Thoms." he replied, as he used his magic to pull Twilight's blanket up over her. "Sleep well Twilight" he said, as he applied a mild sleep spell to her.
> Interlude Breakfast

Morning came as it always did, waking me up.

"Time to get to work" i said to myself, quietly making my way to the kitchen.

"Let's see what we have to work with" i said as i opened up the fridge.

Just as i did, Pinkie Pie jumped out of the fridge, giving me a low "Goodmorning sleepy head" before looking into the fridge with me.

"So how well did you sleep pinks?" i asked, seemingly okay with her jumping out of the fridge.

"Just super, nothing beats your own bed for a sleep over" she replied, as she smiled at me "How was your sleep?" she asked.

"About as good as it gets these days, you know how it is right?"

"Sure do, i just hope Twilight can find a solution for you"

"Same here pinks, same here, now lets get on with breakfast, i still have a lot to cover before we can move along"

"Yupeeroni, let's make pancakes, it has been a while since we all ate pancakes together"

"Great idea pinks, you make the pancakes, i will make a mouthwatering syrup to put on them"

"You got it"

As she moved to the stove, starting the pancakes, i started looking into my mind to find the best syrup recipe i could get, as i had used several years making the perfect syrup, out of boredom, and because my mind was still my own while Celestia controlled my body. Just as i started to create the best one i had using my magic, Twilight entered the kitchen.

"Goodmorning Twilight, sleep well?" i asked her.

"Yes i did, why is Pinkie making pancakes? and what are you doing?"

"Pinkie is making pancakes, so i could focus on the syrup, and i am making syrup for the pancakes"

"Ohh, what kind of syrup?"

"The best kind, i have spent several years locked away inside my own mind, with nothing to do, so i decided to make syrup" at that, Twilight just looked at me with a strange expression on her face.

"How many years did you spend on syrup?" she asked, looking just a bit nervous.

"A good two years total, spent over a period of about ten years"

"So you have spent about 17000 hours thinking about syrup?"

"Something along those lines yes, and before you ask, no i did not go insane, i was close however"

"But why syrup!?"

"Why not? i had nothing better to do, and i like syrup, seemed like a no-brainer back when i did this research" just as i was done, the syrup was made, and i had an idea. "Hey Twilight, Starswirl the Bearded was actually female!" i said loudly, but not loud enough to wake the others.

"What!?" she replied, leaving her mouth opened, just as i had planed, i placed a single drop of the syrup on her tongue, and watched her mind trying to comprehend the taste.

"You know, when your mind shuts down, you have the most cute expression of thought i have ever seen" i said to her, as she was still trying to process this new taste.

"I think you broke her" Pinkie said, after a couple of minutes, where Twilight only blinked, and nothing else.

"I think so too, but it is a good kind of broken, don't you think?"

"Sure is, now lets get her back to the land of magical ponies" Pinkie said with a small laugh. as she took a spoon, and scraped the syrup of Twilights tongue, and then slurped it down herself, only to have her now in the same state as Twilight was.

"What was that taste?" Twilight asked quietly, and very slowly moved towards me.

"The syrup i spent almost two whole years on making, i take it you like it?" i asked with a smile.

"Like it? i can't stop thinking about it right now, the taste was so good, it was sweet, but not too sweet, solid, yet liquid enough to move around"

"And the best part of it, it contains no fat or sugar at all" i then said. seeing her expression change to curiosity.

"How can this be without sugar or fat? you mean to tell me i could eat this and only this, and not gain weight?" she asked.

"No, i just said it does not contain sugar or fat, you still need to eat a lot of this to live on it, so you would gain some weight, and your mind might not make it, as it contains no real vitamins or stuff your body needs" she then turned towards Pinkie, who looked like she was coming off the high my syrup had given her

"Wow, that was some good stuff" Pinkie said, sounding high.

"Indeed it is, though i am gonna tone it down just a bit, so we can actually eat without turning into mindless ponies for a few minutes after each bite" i said, as i thined it out using my magic.

"That might be a good idea" Twilight said, as she pulled out plates, and started making the table.

"Pancakes are done" Pinkie said, as she bounced the pancakes over to the table.

"Great, now lets wake up the others so we can eat" i said, as i slowly made my way into the living room, where the others were still sleeping. i pointed at Pinkie, and then to Rainbow, to which she saluteds me, and went to work. then i pointed at Twilight, and directed her towards Rarity, she nodded and moved towards her bed.

"That leaves one, as Twilight will likely wake spike as well" i said to myself, slowly making my way towards the last bed. An idea formed in my mind, as i used some magic to transform myself into a hamster and hopped into the bed, making Fluttershy stir a bit, but not wake up just yet.

"Time to wake up my dear" i whispered into her ears, gently moving my paw around her ears, making them flick around trying to stop whatever was touching them.

"Just a minute more" she replied rather sleepily, as she started to hug me, as if i was a stuffed animal.

"Sorry, but breakfast is ready now, wound't want it to be cold would we?"

"No, i guess not" she said, as she started to open her eyes, and looked at me. "Oh, who might you be?"

"You have three guesses, but if you guess all three wrong, you will owe me a small favor"  i said, as a small smile appeared on my hamster face, making me look even cuter than i did before.

"Hmm, Hamsterson?"

"Not me no"

"One from the family of hamster in my house"

"I do not belong to that family no"

"Then maybe you are that 'evil' human?" she made the air quotes.

"Aww, you guess it" i said, slowly transforming into my human self, still in bed with her.

"Well, you did give me three guesses, and you did not belong to any of the hamster families i know"

"Welp, can't win every time, now lets get some food" i said, as i pulled the blanket off us, and used my magic to lift her up, and started to carry her to the kitchen so we could eat. The rest of the gang was already at the table, just waiting for us.

"What took you so long? had to cuddle along the way?" Rainbow asked with a smile, to which Fluttershy blushed.

"If you really must know, i tried something different than just pulling off the sheet, and forcing her up, but i could cuddle next time, though it might be you instead Rainbow Dash" i replied, as she started to blush. "Now lets eat, before i make all of you blush and forget about the pancakes"

After the pancakes were eaten, and the plates handled, thanks to a cleaning spell. The story telling continued.

"So, who is ready to continue the story?" i asked the six ponies around me, each with different states of bliss showing on their faces.

"I think we all are darling, but that syrup was absolutely divine, where did you get it?" Rarity asked, able to hide the bliss pretty good.

"Made it myself while locked away in my mind by the glorious sunbutt"

"Wait, you made this?" Dash asked.

"Yes, using my magic, what you think it came from somewhere else?" i asked, shooting her a smile, which i guess she knew what meant, considering how her face turned red.

"Stop messing with her head" Applejack said, in a somewhat annoyed tone, also blushing a bit.

"But it's so fun, how can i NOT mess with her head?" i asked with a smile.

"How about we focus on the story, instead of messing with each others psyche?" Twilight asked, looking a bit annoyed, for some unknown reason.

"Okay, okay, time to get back to the matter at hand" i said, making a king piece from chess appear.






Equestria, 19 years before Luna's banishment. (1019 years ago)





"So this is your bedroom?" i asked, looking around at the midnight blue room around me.

"Yes it is, here we can relax without being in the watchful eye of my sister" Luna said, as she dropped onto her bed

"So other rooms are under her watch or?" i asked, curious about the sentence.

"She is monitoring the other rooms in the castle yes, not all of them, but most of them"

"But why do that? does she not trust other ponies?"

"She did once, but i am not sure when she stopped trusting her loyal subjects"

"Interesting, this might be why this place feels so unwelcoming"

"Well enough talk about that subject for now, want me to show you your room?"

"Can i not stay here? don't like the idea of a pony i have never met before spying on me"

"I don't know, i just met you" Luna said with a coy smile.

"I'd rather you spy on me, that anyone else" i said, giving her a coy smile as well, as we both broke out laughing.

"We have not laughed as much in years, maybe we should hire you to keep us happy, and raise the happiness of our visitors" she said, making a small dunce hat, and putting it on my head.

"Would be my pleasure m'lady" i smilled, as i bowed, thinking i was a jester, and suddenly being in a full jester costume.

"You surely look the part" she said, now laughing again.

"I sure do, and now i know how my magic works, i think" i smiled, as i imagined my normal clothes, and they faded into view on my body.

"Interesting, but can you make flames?" Luna asked, as she made flames come out of her horn.

"I think so, but stand back, this might turn bad" as i imagined a 3 foot jet flame coming out of my hands, and suddenly noting my hands getting far too hot for comfort.

"Impressive, i did not know a creature such as yourself could do this." A royal sounding voice said from the door.

"Sister have i not told you to knock? and did you not receive the message i gave the guards about the meeting being delayed?" Luna asked, sounding a bit mad.

"I did, but decided i wanted to at least see this creature" as she suddenly looked towards me, i felt really small. Mostly due to my magic making me shrink out of fear.

"uhm.. hi there?" i said, slowly forcing myself back into my original size, trying not to look scared, but still sounding a bit scared. something about her was just off, but now i met Princess Celestia. A meeting i would have wanted a day later than it actually happened.

"Hello there, fear not, i am not going to hurt you" she said, as she slowly moved closer to me, and before i knew it, i was next to Luna, having teleported.

"Sister, do you not think it is wise to heed the feelings of others? he is obviously scared of you" Luna said, as she noticed i was not next to her, slowly shrinking again.

"I do, but i still wanted to at least see what he looked like, my curiosity spiked when i was told he was an unknown species" she said, as she changed course, towards Luna, and me.

"Oh god, oh god, oh god"

Luna looked towards me, seeing me in panic, and her sister drawing closer. Looking like fly caught in the light of a bug zapper.

"Sister that is enough!" Luna said, as she made a shield around me and her, turning to comfort me. "Cant' you see he is scared to death of you!" she shouted at Celestia.

Finally Celestia seemed to stop her advance, out of the trance like state she had been in since she arrived. Finally looking like someone with her own mind again, as her ears dropped, as if realizing she did something wrong.

"I am sorry, i do not know what came over me" she said in a low voice, slowly baking away towards the door.

"Fear not, i will protect you" Luna whispered as she watched her sister leave, closing the door as she left.

"I suddenly feel like i want to shift my meeting with her a few days instead of one"

"I can understand why, i do not know what came over her, this is very unlike her" Luna said, as the shield disappeared, and she kept comforting me.

"Thank you Luna" i said, taking her into a hug, just holding onto her, mentally beginning to make her my rock, the solid point in this world.

"Think nothing of it, for now, how about we get some sleep, i usually sleep during the day, hope it is okay with you" Luna said, as she began making her bed, using her magic.

"I am perfectly fine with it, so long as i am not too far away from you" i said, slowly letting go of her, and following her towards the bed.

"For now, just lay down with me, we can figure out something else later, for now, you look like you need the comfort"

"Yes, thank you Luna" i said, as i laid down next to her.

"Think nothing of it" she said, as she drifted off to sleep, and i soon followed.

"So you just about had a mental breakdown from simply meeting Celestia?" Twilight asked

"Kind off yes, she had this strange aura around her, if you know what I mean"

"I do, she has this kind Aura whenever we see each other, but my brother claims she drops it as soon as i leave"

"Likely because she does, ever notice the servant who was always to the left of the throne?"

"Yes, what was his name, Quick Fetch or something, I never really remember"

"I'm hurt Twilight, how can you not remember me?" I said as i turned into the pony in question, a dark blue coat, with a grey mane, and a symbol of infinity on my flank.

"WHAT!" Twilight shouted as i was done transforming into Quick Fetch.

"What indeed miss Sparkle" I said, my voice now changed to a much deeper tone. "How can a filly such as yourself remember our ruler, but not her servants?" I continued.

"So that was you all the time!?"

"Indeed it was, so yes, i was the one to clean up your accident when you were young, and Celestia forgot about the aura she was using"

"Wait accident?" Dash quickly chimed in.

"Yes" I said as i transformed back into my regular human form "Celestia was using her `I'm evil´ aura by mistake, making Twilight ha...."

"ENOUGH OF THAT!" Twilight shouted, her face bright red from embarrassment.

"Very well miss Sparkle" I said in Quick Fetch's voice. "now should we continue the story, or should I come with more funny stories about Twilight?" i asked.

"Twilight stories!" Dash said loudly.

"I have to agree, i want to know more of the younger Twilight, but not right now, maybe at a later time, when she is not about to drop several books onto your head" Rarity said, as i looked up at the books.

"No Twilight, bad pony!" I said as i snapped the books back into place on the shelf's.

"Then don't tell them about my younger years!" Twilight said, still bright red in her face.

"Fair enough, I will stop here, for now at least, now back to the story"

It was starting to become night, and i had not shut my eyes at all, other than to blink. The aura Celestia had around her was making me scared to death, i still didn't know how i saw that aura when Luna didn't seem to notice it at all. i had to look into that at some point when i had the time, and see if others showed an aura.

"I see you did not sleep at all" Luna said with a low voice.

"No, though i really do need it, i just can't"

"It's okay, no need to worry" she said, as she put her wing on top of me "Some ponies have that reaction to meeting my sister, so i often comfort them once they do fall asleep, though i still don't know why they fear her so much."

"So you don't see her aura?" I asked, still curious about that aura.

"Aura? you see an aura around her?"

"I do yes, not sure why, as this is the first time i have seen an aura around someone"

"This is rather interesting, our mother could see aura's as well, but she never shared how to do it, nor what aura ponies gave off" Luna said, looking at me with curiosity and wonder.

"Well, what is the plan now Luna? what do you do in the night that requires you to sleep during the day?"

"I shall show you, though be warned, i cannot guarantee your safety if you choose to accompany me" her face turning more serious.

"Understood, i want to see, and i understand that you cannot guarantee my safety" i said, slowly sitting up in her bed.

"Very well, time to show you" she said, as she got out of bed. "Follow me, we shall start the tour of my task's with my first task" she said, as she walked to her balcony. the doors swung open and she stepped out, looking up at a tower that had a similar balcony but slightly higher up. There stood Celestia, and i frooze, just looking up at her. "Fear not, she is simply telling me, it is my time to work" Luna said, as Celestia looked down upon us, nodding to Luna. Then she looked at me, and seemed a bit sad, as her head started to hang low, and she walked inside.

"Do you think i hurt her feelings reacting that way to her?" i asked, looking at Luna.

"I do not think so, but i do think something happened to her within recent times, she has never been that way before" she replied, as she looked up at the sky. "Now watch what my first task is" she said, as her horn lit up, and the moon started to rise in the distance, at the same time, the sun started to set.

"So you raise the moon, just like the folks back at Stalliongrad said, I have to admit i doubted them" i said as i continued to look at the moon rising.

"Is that all they told you?" Luna asked, stopping the moon high in the sky.

"No, they also said Celestia raises the sun, and she handles the court" i replied.

"So they didn't tell you i did this as well?" she said as her horn lit up, and the stars started to move around, placing themselves in patterns all over the sky, all but one star moved.

"No they did not tell me this" i said as i kept staring at the stars moving around.

"Well, that is my first task, to get the moon up, and making the star sky look pretty for those few ponies out there who are still awake" she said, a smile on her lips.

"This does not really seem that dangerous, what was that about my safety?" i asked, getting curious.

"That was for the second task" she said, as she moved inside again. "This happens on the bed, so would you care to join me?" she asked casually.

"I'm not sure, my father always said i should not do this outside of wedlock" i said with a big grin on my face.

"That is not my intend!" Luna said as her face turned red.

"I know, i'm just messing with you" I said, laughing a bit. "it's a joke where i come from" I continued as i got into bed with her.

"Please do not joke about that kind of thing, or i might start joking back" Luna said, as she got in the bed as well.

"If it's a joke war you want, a joke war you shall get" i said, smiling widely at her.

"Perhaps later, but for now relax and see my second task" she said, as her horn started to glow.

"So you casually just make a comment about being intimate to a princess?" Dash asked, looking at me with a hint of wonder in her eyes.

"Yes i did, it had the desired effect as well" i replied, looking around the room. "We became friends after that one night, were i learned what she did, and how she did it, still can't replicate it though" i said, looking back at Dash.

"So you cannot enter our dreams the way she does it?" Dash asked, looking a bit nervous.

"Nope, but i can enter them in another way, and can manipulate them as well, and before you ask Dash, yes, i saw your dream last night" i replied, getting a smile on my lips.

"What dream is he talking about Dashie?" Pinkie asked, as Dash's face slowly turned very red.

"Oh what was it?" i said in a wondering tone "Oh right, it involved Spitfire, Cloudsdale and a few other ponies i dont really know about" i said, looking at her, slowly turning more red.

"Oh! She was having a dream about being a wonderbolt right?" Pinkie chimed in.

"Something like that, but i will keep it a secret, for i was told by Luna that sharing another ponies dreams without permission would result in her bucking me hard someplace i would rather not have bucked" i said, still looking at dash, as she started returning to her normal color.

"So what ya'll are saying is, you can watch our dreams?" Applejack asked, looking at me.

"Yes i can, though i cannot access the dreams of ponies further away from me than 50 meters or so" i replied. snapping my finger. "Within this circle, all ponies dreams are available to me if i so desire to have a peek, and maybe do something while i'm there"

They looked out the window of the library to see a circle glowing green around it, overlapping a few buildings nearby.

"That house in particular that you are all looking at, i can just reach the foal sleeping in his bed if i wanted to, and i have done so once, helping him in a nightmare due to bullies at his school"

"Bullies, like the one's Sweetie Belle and her friends keeps talking about?" Rarity inquired.

"Indeed, those exact fillies" i said, snapping the circle away. "Well back to the story, we still have a lot to cover before we are done"

"Are you comfortable?" Luna asked as she slowly got into the bed as well.

"Yes, though i am still a bit confused why we need to be in the bed for one of your tasks" I said, looking at her.

"You will soon see, now are you ready, this is the potentially dangerous part"

"I am ready Luna"

"Good, now simply lie still and try to sleep if possible" she said, as she started to use her magic. I closed my eyes and flet really sleepy all of a sudden.





Dreamscape





"There you are, you can open your eyes now" Luna said, as i slowly opened my eyes.

"Where are we? and why are there doors all over the place?" i asked as i looked around, getting up from my sitting position.

"This is the dreamscape, the place where my second task of the night takes place" she said as she started to walk along the doors.

"So you can simply open a door, and be in someones dream?" i asked looking at the doors.

"Indeed that is how it works, but take notice of that blue door over there" she pointed a hoof at a blue door, with  a black aura around it.

"That is what we are here to fix?" i asked, looking at the door.

"Precisely, you are rather observant"

"Not really, i made a guess, based on this door being the only one so far with this aura around it, compared to the others" i motioned to the other doors, all with different bright color aura's.

"The aura tells us who has sweet dreams, and who has a nightmare, the black and dark colors represent some state of bad dream, black is a nightmare, dark colors, indicate something frightening, and bright colors are happy dreams"

"So a dark red is what kind of dream?" i asked, pointing at a nearby door.

"Those dreams are not for younger ponies, and are turning bad, but they usually do before getting better" she said, getting a slight hint of red in her cheeks.

"Any way to tell who owns the dream?" i asked, noting different colors, but no cutiemarks on the doors.

"The colors are mane and coat colors, as you can see here" she pointed to a nearby door "This door is green colored with a bright orange colored frame, so the coat of the pony is green, and her mane is a bright orange color"

"Ahh, i see the system now, so this pony is gold colored in her coat, and red in mane?" i said pointing to a gold colored door, with a red frame.

"Exactly, you do pick it up rather quickly, now lets fix this pony's nightmare and move on to the next one" she said, as she opened the door, and went in.

"I always was a quick study" i said as i moved in after her, noting how the dreamscape changed around us as we slowly walked towards a dim light in the distance.

"That will come in handy when learning with me, i was never much of a teacher" she said, as our surroundings changed into the city of Canterlot, a street i thought i had seen from above on our way in.

"It always has, and likely always will" i said, as i still simply followed her around.

"So have you always been fast at learning or did it come to you later?"

"Always been there, and always been helpful"

"I can imagine" she said, turning to me "Now lets get that look fixed, no telling what a creature such as yourself might spark in a pony mind"

I felt strange suddenly, like i was still myself, but also not me. i looked around and saw i was in a pony form with a dark blue coat, a grey mane, and what appeared to be the symbol for infinity on my butt.

"That was kinda weird, feels like me, but not quite like me, who is this pony?" i asked, trying to get used to how i should move now.

"That was our first servant, when Celestia and i became Princesses's  and began to rule Equestria, his name was Quick Fetch, always fast to get what was needed, when needed" she said, looking a bit down.

"I take it you both kinda liked him in a way"

"We did yes, he was the best there was, and his passing left a gap, not easily replaced"
