It was 2015 the Great War was at its end, the human race was almost extinct. The smell of decomposing bodies still filled the air. We would have called it the Third World War but it wasn’t appropriate seeing as the world was actually at its end. Some people joined The Dark One or got converted into one of them against their will. I still don’t know why some people would join them, why would anyone would like to see their planet taken over by madmen who were lead by a source of pure evil. They didn’t have any respect for any kind of animal or human, every living being a test subjects or just another joy to kill.


I remember the day we left to fight in the war, my brother and I. Our father was as proud and as sad as he could be. His only two sons, fighting in the war, probably to never be seen again...


My brother had a mechanical back ground and I knew how to fly jet planes, I always helped my father spray the insecticide over the fields of our farm.


I still regret leaving my home, leaving everyone behind i loved and cared for. My parents and my little sister... my little baby sister. Two days after we left they came for my family; they refused to come willingly with them… so they weren’t of any value to them and slaughtered them in cold blood.


But now they are gone… my parents and my sister, dead. I think my time is also coming to its end; they are almost through our last line of defense. 


There should be around one hundred normal humans left, well at least that was the rumor that was going around under the people who didn’t let them get corrupted willingly or by force by the power of The Queen of the Night.


*BOOM* (awesome explosion sound)


They broke through the last door, they were in great numbers and had much better weapons than us. It was a quick assembled strike team, most of them barely knew how to hold a gun, but still their weapons were in much better condition and they had ammo, the one thing our squad was running low on... and fast.



The battle was lost before it even began. They killed all of my team mates, including my brother, who tried to save me with his last strength. Their bodies scattered around the room, only I survived, wish I died at the moment...They took me hostage in one of their facilities, having fun by torturing me.

It has been months since i was one of their toys, at least that is what I think, it also could have been years. I had no sense of time any more, my body was broken, as was my mind.


I overheard them talking that all ‘filthy’ humans were captured and were getting moved to their capital city. There were only five humans left which included me…


This meant all hope was lost for the human race. Not that i cared at the moment, the only thing I had left was my individual survival instinct. Every time one of them got to close to the bars of my jail I grabbed them and broke their neck or strangled them. The once who saw this happen just stood there and laughed at their colleague getting killed.


The day had come, I was getting moved to my new but temporarily jail. It took a few days before reaching the capital city, I was blind folded the whole way so I had no idea where I was when they pulled me out into the daylight. I felt the warmth of the sun on my face, followed by a cold feeling as i got dragged back into the shadows.


''here you go you little worm, have a nice stay in our luxurious accommodation'', one of the guard that was holding me said as he threw me down, causing me to fall face first on a cold cobblestone floor.

''uuuggghhh, my head'' I said as I woke up with an immense headache.


‘‘Take it easy, you made a nasty ass face plant just there'' a heavy male voice said.


I was shocked by the sound of the man, I haven't heard someone speak this normal in years. His voice was harsh but gentle at the same time, and sounded very familiar.


I opened my eyes and looked around the dimly lit room. I saw two girls sitting in a corner cuddled up against each other for warmth. As i looked further I saw a man sitting on the floor against the wall, he was missing both his legs. Then I turned to the man who spoke to me, he was tall, muscular and had a very familiar face.


''D...do I know you?'' I asked the man who stood beside me.


''I don't know kid, probably'', he said simply, ''I have trained a lot of soldiers, you might have seen me at your trainings camp, where have you been trained?''


''Fort Phoenix’’ I answered after trying to collect my thoughts.


''Yeah, that could be right, what is your name kid?'' he asked with a slight smile.


''A...Ace, my name is Ace’ ’I answered stuttering, ''wait a minute aren't you Sergeant Wilson?''

''Indeed I am kid; you must remember me from the better days. Sorry but I'm not sure if I know ya, I have trained a lot of recruits over the years... or wait, ain't you the one who always was joking around and screwing thing up together with that brother of yours’’ , he said while glaring at me, followed by a smile, ''You two sure were something, talking about it where is that brother of yours?''


I didn't need to tell him, he  knew when he saw the expression of pain and sorrow on my face.


''I'm very sorry for ya'' he said with a glum expression as he sat beside me.


There was a silence in the room which felt very uncomfortable, I wasn't the one who was going to break the silence as was he. We sat there for several minutes or hours when suddenly one of the girls with a bandage around head, covering her eyes woke up and screamed.


''easy, you are okay, everything is okay. I am with you'' the girl that was holding her said while holding the blind one even closer to herself.


The blind girl started to cry on the shoulder of the other girl, they must have seen and been through some shit themselves, i thought. I was still thinking about my brother, causing me sob silently.


''I want to go home, I want to wake up form this nightmare. I want to live again! ‘The blind girl said sobbing, ''please sis, get me out of here, i want to see mom and dad again''


''I...I can't and you know that'' the other girl said with a frown.


The girls were crying quietly, together this time. The sight broke the last bit of my heart, causing tears to roll of my cheeks but i didn't make a single sound. I lay down of the floor, trying desperately to get some sleep and get away from the mood in the room.

The days went by very slowly, the two girls were constantly trying to comfort each other, and the two men just watched in front of them with a blank face, General Wilson and I sometimes exchanged some words but the other man never spoke a single word, he just stared in front of him probably already accepted the death.


'’wake up my little puppets, it is time for your Grande Début’', said a guard who peeped his head down the hole I was thrown in to. 


At the same moment a door in the room opened up, letting a beam of light fall into the room, behind the door there were standing six guards.


The first one came in and took both of the girls, the second one took the man without legs. Then two came in and took General Wilson, he disappointed me when he didn't resist them, I was going to beat the shit out of the fucker that was going to take me. Then there came two guards armed with electric rods, I recoiled at the sight.


''There were some complains about you my little puppet, you have been a very naughty puppet. Just come with us puppet or do we have to give you a makeover first'' The guard it the ceiling said as he jumped down, also armed with an electrical rod.


I made fists of my hands, I won't come that easy, I thought to myself. They started to close in on me from three different directions.


‘‘Now now puppet, please do behave. Didn't your parents teach you that not listening to your superiors is bad?'' He said with a smile, activating his rod causing it to spark and emit a smell of ozone.


He infuriated me when he talked about me parents, I grinded my teeth against each other in rage. I glared at him and stepped towards him, causing him to retreat a bit and poke the rod towards me.


''N...Now now puppet, don't do thing you'll regret'' He said in with a dash of fear in his voice.


I smirked and walked even closer to him, hearing the other two activate their rods too. The guard in front of me lunged towards me, but i dodged him easily, causing him to lose his balance and stumble beside me. I grabbed the rod at its handle and poked towards the eye of the guard and piercing it with an electrical flash. His body fell lifeless on the cold floor.


''No one talks shit about my family'' I said loudly to the now dead guard, right before being poked in my back by the other two guards.

'‘LAAAAAAADYS AND GENTLEMAAAN, ARE YOU READY FOR THE LAST CLEANSING!'’, an announcer yelled into a microphone. 


Causing me to regain consciousness, I discovered that they had cuffed my hands and feet, they even had put a muzzle on me which caused me not being able to bite or talk. One of the guards was carrying me and as soon as he noticed I was awake he threw me on the floor and ordered me to walk.


'‘HERE THEY COME, THE LAST FOUR OF THE OLD RACE'’ the announcer yelled.


I was dumbstruck by what I just heard, there were five of us left, Sargent Wilson, the legless mam, the two girls and I. I looked around to confirm that there were still five of us.


‘‘Yes yes puppet, you thought you had me didn't ya. You shall not die any day soon, you will be my little bitch'' A guard with an eye patch said as he walked towards us from a dark hallway.


He removed my muzzle from my face with a hard yank, he activated the electrical rod again and started to move it towards my face. I never broke eye contact with the guard, he stopped an inch in front of my eye.


As he was about to stick the rod in my eye a big man kicked him away, causing the guard his back to snap and stop against a wall with a thud.


''I told him we needed this specimen intact, but he wouldn't listen... again. Ooh well he won’t be making that mistake again'' he said while smirking at me.


The large man grabbed my face and started to examine it, the man was wearing blood stained gloves and funny looking goggles on his head. His eyes were completely black, which probably meant that he had been given a lot of power by The Dark Queen.


''Indeed it does Ace, you will come with me and I will make you a very important tool. And about the others, well I don't think we should make the audience wait any longer for the show to start'' he said while still examining me.


The guards that were holding the others walked up a stair towards a door, behind this door was a stage with a foursome of killing devices on it, I heard the blind girl cry for her life right before the door fell shut and I also got dragged away. Back towards the darkness.

I woke up by a sharp pain that shot through my body, I opened my eyes and moaned. I was lying on an iron table that was covered in blood, all around me was covered in darkness. I started to panic as I saw my abdominal cavity and my ribcage open, showing all my organs. I saw my lungs moving and my heart beating.


''I knew it, I'm a bloody genius'' said a sheer full voice with a British accent from the darkness. ''now that there is only one human left the life force of the human race is all inside of you. Ooh yeah, I am so happy that you are alive, because a normal human wouldn't be able to lie like this and not feel that much pain. Of course it hurts like fuck, but you don't pass out like the others. NOW let us begin'' he said in a crazy tone, before he ran of giggling.


Several big machines around me started to make noise and emit light. A strange red light emitting fluid rushed through one of the tubes attached to my heart, as soon as it reached me my heart beat quadrupled causing my veins to expand by the extra pressure.


''well than, this was an experiment I always wanted to have done, sadly this will be the first and last time. This was a design I had when I was still a weak human, it is also designed for just humans. If it works you'll be one lucky son of a bitch, and if it won't well'' he putted his thumb down and made a farting sound with his lips.


Six steel hooks came down and covered me in a strange kind of foil, than they rose up again and struck down, and pierced the foil and passed all of my organs, not damaging a single one, but went through until the spine and one punctured my heart.


A bright light came from my heart illuminating the whole room brightly, my body felt like it was ripping itself apart. I felt an immense pressure in my head and body. A very bright flash came from heart, I gasped for air.


The hooks shot out, and closed my body stitching it from bottom to top in only three seconds, then shot back up in the ceiling making room for a huge electrical coil to decent, it stopped right above my head. There was light emitting from my chest, my mouth and eyes.


''Whahaha, it works. You lucky bastard, have fun wherever the fuck you go!'' The crazy scientist screamed through the room before pulling a lever on his control panel and started to dance again.


The coil descended until it was touching my forehead, causing sparks to emit from all over my body. It was a rush of power I had never felt, my body felt like it was gaining velocity, followed by a bright flash and a loud *boom*. I disappeared into thin air towards another universe, feeling my body change and tremble in pain and agony.



Authors note: Hope you liked it, it's my first fanfic, but had it removed due to lots of grammar errors and a really bad flowing story, I edited a lot! I hope I fixed it up good enough. Please leave a comment :)


> Chapter: Two

It was a beautiful sunny day in Ponyville, every pony was having a quiet and relaxed day. There was not a single cloud in the sky, Celestia's sun shining bright in the blue sky. All of this silent peace was disrupted by a rumbling sound in the blue sky, it started to darken and swirl. The pony's on the market ran away in fear towards houses, and fled inside. The dark swirl in the sky was sending out electrical shocks while still growing, the swirl stretched open and revealed a star filled dark void. A bright light shot through the swirl, in the direction of Sweet Apple Acres. As soon as the light was out of the dark void, the opening disappeared as fast as it did appear.


The orange earth pony was sleeping against one of the apple trees, her mare friend was sleeping next to her, resting her head on her belly. The rainbow maned mare woke up from her sleep by a loud splash in the nearby lake, and looked in shock at the explosion of water rising up from the lake.


''Applejack! Wake up, something has happened, something big'', the rainbow maned mare said in horror, she started to push up her mare friend and ran towards the lake, ''come on hurry up!''

''Rainbow wait, what’s w-wrong'' Applejack said in shock as she looked up in the sky at the funnel of water.


Apple Jack reached the lake and looked around the beach of the lake, gaining no sight of Rainbow Dash. The water was coming down again, filling the half-filled lake back up to its normal level and causing it to rain in the area around it.


''Rainbow Dash! Where are you?'' Applejack cried out, several moments later the surface of the water broke revealing a rainbow colored mane.


Rainbow Dash gasped for air as soon as she broke the surface, dragging a pony with her, leaving a red bloody trail in the muddy water. Applejack reached Rainbow and helped her to get the pony out of the lake, and also helping her exhausted mare friend to keep her head above water.


As soon as they reached the beach of the lake they pulled out the red, torn up, bleeding pegasus pony onto the beach. Rainbow Dash collapsed from exhaustion and lag of oxygen, she was panting heavily a few feet away from Applejack who was performing CPR on the red pegasus while Rainbow was catching back her breath.


Rainbow Dash struggled to stand up and was wobbling legs. she limped finding it hard to walk, one of her front legs was bleeding and had a deep cut in it. When she dove in the lake she had shot past a sharp rock on the bottom, which had torn a deep gash in her right front leg.


The red pegasus was coughing up water and blood, the stitched wound on his hull was opening up again, making the pink squishy organs visible and blood flowing out.


The pony was barely breathing, but every breath he did take was with a sickly gurgling sound, Applejack's CPR had left her exhausted and covered in blood, but the pony was alive was breathing again even if it was very shallow.


''Rainbow help me get him to the hospital, and fast!'' Applejack ordered Rainbow, not knowing she was injured. 


Rainbow Dash limped towards, carefully not to use her right front leg. ‘’Rainbow are you okay?’’ Applejack asked quickly while looking concerned at the limping mare.

‘’yeah, I’m fine’’ Rainbow Dash replied with a painful expression on her face,  ‘’ let’s get him out of here!’’

They both lifted up the pony, balancing him on their backs and started their way towards the town in a quick pace, leaving a trail of blood on the streets and dirt roads. Ponies that saw the two mares with a torn up pegasus on their backs screamed in horror and looked away, some even had to vomit at the sight of the pegasus pony.


As soon as they reached the hospital they rushed through the doors, knocking a few ponies aside that also immediately looked in shock and made room for them to pass


''Somepony, anypony. HELP!'' Applejack yelled through the lobby of the hospital almost collapsing of exhaustion.


Immediately multiple nurse and doctor pony ran towards the yell of despair by the well-known farm pony. As soon as the red pegasus was placed on a stretcher and moved to the ER, Applejack focused her attention on Rainbow Dash, helping her mare friend by supporting her right side.


‘’Are you okay Dash? That cut doesn’t look good’’ Applejack asked while still panting and tears of concern in her eyes.

''By Celestia's sake, what happened'' One of the nurses asked to two  heavily panting ponies. ‘’Ooh dear, please follow me and let me take care of that cut’’



''Come on AJ; let's get this scratch fixed up'' Rainbow Dash said to Applejack in a reassuring tone.


''That ain't no scratch, that's a flesh wound'' Applejack said while still looking at the deep gash in Rainbow's front leg.


Rainbow Dash replied to the comment with a giggle and started to limp after the nurse, Applejack beside her, still giving support to Rainbow Dash's weak side.

‘‘Excuse me madam?'' a voice said causing Applejack to wake up and look up to a doctor pony standing in front of her. She yawned and sat upright to hear the doctor out. ''He is stable now, but he didn't regain his consciousness yet. We are afraid he might be in a coma, we don't know for how long he will stay like this... I'm sorry''


Applejack was happy that he still was alive and stable in the first place, and gave the doctor a small smile and a nod.


''If you two brought him in here even a few minutes later he wouldn't be alive anymore, you really saved his life'' the doctor said with a smile. ''I am sorry that we have this little information, but it will take a lot of time for him to recover that is what I can say for sure''.


''I'm glad that he still is alive in the first place, thank you for saving him doctor'' Applejack said with a small smile. ‘’Don’t thank me, we just gave him some blood and stitched him back up. You two are the once who actually saved him.’’ The doctor replied with a smile. ‘’I’ll let you rest now’’. 


The doctor smiled and walked away from the opening of the room and closed the door, allowing the pair to get some more rest. Applejack buried her muzzle into Rainbow's mane, causing Rainbow to moan softly and smile in her sleep, after a few moments Applejack fell into a light slumber.

Applejack woke up from a restless sleep, finding her all alone in a dimly lit room covered in blankets on a bed. She was starting to panic, where was Rainbow Dash? Her mind was still in shock by the horrors she had  just seen a few hours before. 


''R-Rainbow? Where are you?'' Applejack whispered softly into the room


The door of the room slowly opened and a rainbow maned mare walked in, closing the door behind her and walked up to the bed Applejack was lying in. She climbed up the bed and lay down against Applejack, she covered herself with some of blankets.

Applejack felt the warm body of the pony pressing slightly against her, it was Rainbow. Applejack wrapped her front legs around Rainbow, pulling her into a tight against herself and nuzzled Rainbows mane.


Rainbow Dash turned around, now lying face to face with Applejack, and hugged her. ‘’It’s gonna be okay’’ Rainbow whispered into Applejacks ear and kissed her on the lips for several heart beats, ‘’I’m with you’’


They cuddled for several minutes, nuzzling the other mare mane, before they both fell asleep in each others arms.


Applejack woke up again, but this time by the bright light shining though the little window of the quest room in the hospital. Rainbow Dash looked impatient at the orange earth pony, which stood next to the window tapping her hoof good hoof on the floor impatiently.


''I know you we both are early birds, so get up! I've been awake for hours!'' Rainbow Dash said annoyed. Applejack looked up at her mare friend and slowly got out of the small bed, she stretched her back making little cracking sounds.


''Finally...'' Rainbow said slightly annoyed, ''now please let's go do something! I'm so bored'' she sighed. One of the nurses told me that they had asked Twilight to help out with the pegasus, so she must be around here in the hospital somewhere. Come on, let's go find her!''


Applejack looked confused at Rainbow Dash and nodded slowly at her, when suddenly her stomach growled, Applejack giggled and a faint blush appeared on her cheeks.


''Let me guess... You want to do eat first?'' Rainbow Dash said annoyed, Applejack smiled and nodded.


‘’uuugh fine… you are lucky I’m hungry to. But right after that we go and find Twilight, deal?’’ Rainbow Dash said, Applejack nodded and smiled.

Rainbow Dash sighed and walked through the door after Applejack, who was walking at a bit slower pace so that Rainbow could follow with her injuries. They reached the cafeteria of the hospital and walked inside. There was a tired and stressed looking purple unicorn sitting all alone at a table in the dining area with a large cup of coffee levitating in front of her, she was quickly browsing through some notes and file’s while taking small sips from her cup.


''Hi there Twilight!'' Rainbow Dash said loudly, causing Twilight to jump up in dismay and shriek.


Twilight surprised by the loud pegasus pony and accidentally spilled her coffee on the papers in front of her, causing them to be drenched on the hot black liquid. Twilight quickly tried to dry them with a napkin, but soon found it was of no use she snarled and slowly turned to the pony who startled her.


''You dumb, impotent, useless piece of... Ooh Rainbow Dash it's you. I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you'' Twilight said with a grief expression on her face.


''Seems like somepony is a little bit stressed’’ Rainbow Dash said with a smile and a wink.

''Well to start with, I have no idea where this pony you two saved came from, I have used up a lot of magic to fix him up and I haven't slept all night. And to finish it, because you scared me all of my research is drenched in coffee'' Twilight said in one breath.


Applejack trotted back towards the confused looking Rainbow Dash and tired looking Twilight, carrying a tray with two plates on it with breakfast on it, placing it on the table where Twilight was sitting. ''So what did I miss'' Applejack asked when she saw the stressed Twilight and the wet papers.


‘’Rainbow, what did you do’’ Applejack said while glaring at Rainbow Dash.

‘’Nothing! Misses up tight here is just very jumpy today’’ she said while ginning at Twilight.


Twilight sighed and let her head fall onto the wet papers. Rainbow Dash trotted to one of the chairs and sat down at the table, with a broad grin on her face. Applejack shrugged of the scene and started eating together with Rainbow Dash.


''You were right about eating first, I didn't even know I was this hungry'' Rainbow said to Applejack after she had finished their breakfast.


Twilight lifted her head, pieces of paper sticking to her forehead and her mane that was dripping wet with coffee. She took another napkin and dried her face and mane before sighing again.


''You two saw what happened, right? Maybe you can help me with this?'' Twilight asked desperately, ''I have no idea where he came from, just a dark swirl in the sky that closed immediately as he passed through. And how did he survive a fall like that, even if it was in the lake the forces should have pulverized his body. I have been up to the place where the dark swirl was with my balloon, but i couldn't find a single reading with my equipment. And there is also no data I can find around the lake...'' she explained and sighed again, ''It's like he generated from thin air, or came from another dimension or something like that. But both options are preposterous!''



Applejack and Rainbow Dash shared a confused look at each other checking of one of them knew what Twilight was talking about.


''Okay, so he is like an alien or something? He looked like a normal pony to me, even if he was messed up like that…'' Applejack said, breaking the awkward silent between the three friends.


''That is a possibility, but most unlikely'' Twilight mumbled while she rested her head of her front legs, ''but I am way too tired to think straight right now, I think I'll hit the hay. Maybe tomorrow I can figure out a bit more''


Twilight was getting ready to leave the table by picking up the few undamaged pieces of paper and putting them into her saddlebag, when suddenly a doctor ran it to the cafeteria towards the three mares.


''Miss Sparkle, he is awake!'’


> Chapter: Three

Where was I? I couldn’t open my eyes, it was like they were being forced shut. I had a taste of blood in my mouth and used my tongue to find the source. I didn’t find a source of blood,  but my whole mouth felt strange and unknown to me, as did my tongue, it felt swollen. To be honest my whole body felt unknown to me, it was like I had a new different body . I started to panic and sweat heavily, happened to me? What was the last thing I could remember? I remember a dark room, loneliness, fear  and pain, lots of pain. I tried to move my hand and discovered that I couldn’t use my fingers in both my hands, I also couldn’t use my toes when I tried to use my feet. When I suddenly heard an echoed sound of what sounded like, hoof steps? The steps came closer and closer, until they suddenly stopped followed by a sound of an opening door. 


‘’Hello mister? Can you hear me? a gentle female voice asked softly.


I lay as still as possible, trying to look like I was dead. I didn’t know why I didn’t respond, but it seemed the best thing to do.


‘’Are you sure he is awake?’’ the gentle voice said again, followed by a somewhat deeper male voice ‘’Pretty sure, a few moment ago he was moving his hooves. But I have other patients to tend to so I’ll be of’’.


Hooves, they said I have Hooves. What happened to me, ‘’come on think what is the last thing you can remember’’ I asked myself in my mind.


’’Okay, by the way can I remove the bandages from his head that cover his eyes?’’ the female voice asked followed again by a male voice, ‘’sure, as long as you leave it on his wounds I think there is no harm in it’’.


One of them walked away, and the other one closed in to me. I started to sweat and panic even more as I felt something touch me, and breathe very shallow panicked gasps. ‘’Well there goes my cover’’ I thought.


I started to see white through my eyelids, by kept them firmly shut, afraid of what stood next to me. But my curiosity took the best over me, as I opened my eyes slowly and looked towards whatever would be next to me.

‘’Hello, my name is Twilight Sparkle’’ horse said to me with a smile, ‘’what is your name?


‘’You are a talking horse…’’ I responded dumbfounded. ‘’I am not a horse! I am a pony, just like you’’  said the purple pony.


‘’You are a talking animal, and I am a human not a pony’’ I said still finding this whole conversations  unreal. ‘’I am not an animal! I am a pony, just like everypony else… and what are humans? She said now spontaneously curious.


‘’I am not a horse or pony or whatever! I am human’’ I said receiving a questioning look from the purple pony.


Suddenly the horn of the pony started to glow and a mirror started floating through the room, I gasped at the sight of the flying mirror, and shocked as soon as it was in front of me.


‘’Fuck this shit!’’ I jumped out of the bed I was laying, planning to make a run for it, but as soon as I reached the floor I felt a sharp pain shoot over the front of my body, from my chest all the way to my lower insistence. I landed hard on the floor and moaned in pain, but tried to make my way there by crawling towards it, which proved to be really hard with hooves.


‘’No, please come back, you are in a really bad shape!’’ Twilight yelled. I continued in panic, but my front hurt too much and I tried flip to my back to check what the damage was. But I couldn’t roll over, something was blocking my way, as I looked I saw two feathered wings, and in the back ground a track of blood from where I had crawled. I eventually struggled to get on my back and saw my front, a cut from my stomach up to my chest now covered in blood.


Twilight stepped over me and pinned me down, she had tears in her eyes. ‘’Please STOP!’’ she asked while releasing some tears, ‘’you are killing yourself!’’


The pain, the blood lost, the talking ponies and the fact that I was a pony to, it was all too much. I lost consciousness and passed out.

I woke up again, my whole front was bandaged. I looked out of a small window in the room and saw the moon, ‘’am I still on earth?’’ I said very silent.


Under the window stood a small couch with a pile of blankets on it, it was moving up and down slowly. At the end of the blankets I saw a purple mane and a horn, ‘’Brightlight?’’ I asked.


The pile shifted and a head popped out, ‘’It’s Twilight, Twilight Sparkle’’ she mumbled and yawned.


‘’Oh sorry… and sorry for the extreme reaction from later this day’’, I said ashamed, ‘’ I was a bit overwhelming, being another species and such’’.


‘’What that, that was a week ago. You went in shock and were in coma for around 6 days now.’’ She said nonchalant, ‘’so now tell me what are you’’ she demanded and jumped up with a bright glowing horn.


‘’You heal ten times as fast as a normal pony, you emit a strong magical aura that isn’t common on this planet and what the hay are humans’’ she said while glaring at me, ‘’normally I would have performed a mind reading spell on you, but you resisted it. So let’s do it again and let me in!’’


‘’w-what do you mean, I mean no harm’’ I said in shock, ‘’I’ll explain everything I remember to you, but the only thing I remember is that this is not my original body and that ponies aren’t able to talk… no offense’’


Twilight squeezed her eyes a bit and looked me in my face for several moments ‘’fine, but I will perform the spell on you, don’t worry it will not hurt a bit, it will only help you to get some memories back’’ she said and started to close in with her horn towards my forehead.


‘’But you have some sort of mind block I can’t enter on my own, you have to allow me to enter your mind and memories. Okay?’’ she asked me with a suspicious look, ‘’how do I do that?’’ I asked in reply. ‘’just don’t resist me entering your mind and everything will be fine’’


Her horn connected with my forehead and flashes of memory shot through my head, flashes of blood, pain, suffering and killing. I remembered the things that had happened to me, where I came from, my former profession, the fact of me being the last of my species, the loss of my family and all of the emotional pain I once had that came back to me together with the memories... I remembered.

Twilight shot back and fell on her haunches and gasped with a terrified expression on her face, not even close to resembling mine, as mine was a face of pain and sadness.


‘’W-what happened to you’’ Twilight said with a concerned look, ‘’I was kind of glad, not having those memories…’’ I mumbled with a blank face in response.


‘’But I cannot detect any sort of evil within you, even though you have murdered many of your own kind, is that what a war is about on your planet? Killing each other?’’ she said in disgust, while I was still in shock by me returned memory, ‘’you are not dangerous, right?’’ she stepped back even more.


Tears started to roll over my cheeks and looked towards Twilight, she understood what I have been trough she knew my pain. She walked towards me and embraced me, ‘’you poor soul’’ she whispered as a tear rolled down her face as well.


I broke the embrace and looked Twilight in her eyes, ‘’Please let me stay here. I am not dangerous. Even if it means I have to be a pony I can live with it, just don’t send me back there!’’ I said between sobs.


‘’Even if I wanted to, I couldn’t. The portal you came through closed right behind you and sealed the doorway between our universes. So yes you can stay here as long as you are no danger to others’’


‘’thank you’’ I said with a wide smile as I hugged her tightly again, almost squeezing the air out of her lungs. ‘’Are you okay?’’ she asked with a gasp.


‘’I am finally free’’


> Chapter: Four

 The weeks when I was in the hospital I met all of Twilight’s friends and found out that two of them saved my life when I came here. Applejack and Rainbow Dash, I immediately offered my services to repay their deed of heroism, but instead of accepting my offer they refused  it, instead Applejack offered me a job on her farm as soon as I was back recovered and Rainbow Dash offered me flying lessons. Then I met Pinkie Pie, she was very unique and very bouncy, when I asked Twilight about Pinkie Pie she said that I should not wonder about how she was able to do everything she did. I also met Rarity and Fluttershy, Rarity was a complete fashionista and very polite and Fluttershy was well… very shy and barely spoke a word during her whole visit. They were all very nice to me and didn’t ask what happened to me or where I came from, probably Twilight had told them not to ask.


I was released from the hospital and Twilight had offered me a room in her home to stay in until I was fully recovered, physically as mentally.


I had to get used to walking on all fours, which took me about a week to get the hang of. If walking was this hard, then flying will be almost impossible.


I have been in Ponyville for two months now, but still many ponies are gossiping about me. There are stories going around about me being an alien from another world to me being an evil daemon disguised as a pony. 


Not that I cared what random ponies thought about me, Twilight had spoken with Princes Celestia and explained me past to her. The Princess even came to check if I wasn’t a danger to others, she looked into my soul and found nothing of evil, only that it was tainted by pain, fear and agony.


The only problems I had so far were with sleeping, I have been having nightmares since I got my memories back. Twilight was helping me to get rid of the nightmares with therapy sessions, it was working for the nightmares came less often and were less intensive.


The Princes visited me once a week to check up on my progress, and was pleased to find that my soul was returning to the light again. ‘’Maybe I misjudged you’’ she told me after her last visit with a small smile, ‘’welcome to Equestria’’.

I hovering towards the farmers market to buy some Apples from the farmers market, it was the last task on my to-do list Twilight gave me, after I asked for it. I was flying slowly so that I could enjoy the scenery better, it was a beautiful crisp autumn day.


I trotted into town, most ponies were used to me now, and some even greeted me. I reached the apple stand and was greeted with a smile from Applejack.


‘’A good day to you Ace’’ Applejack said still smiling, ‘’well what can I do for you today?’’

‘’A dozen of apples please’’ I replied with a smile. Applejack place the dozen of apples on the counter, ‘’that will be four bits’’.


‘’here you go… wait a minute, four bits? But the sign says six bits for a dozen’’ I putted down four bits of the money Twilight gave me ad two bits of my own. ‘’friend discount’’ Applejack pushed the two bits back to me and gave me a wink.


‘’Thank you’’ I said as I putted the apples in my saddlebags, six in each side. ‘’so how is it going on the farm, still need some help around there?’’


‘’I am sorry sugarcube, but two of my cousins have been send here from Mane Hatton to learn about farming and they are already more than I can handle. How about je apply for a job at the weather central, they are always looking for pegasai to control the weather, especially here next to the Everfree forest’’


‘’thanks AJ I’ll be sure to check it out, I’m of now Twilight is waiting for these apples.’’ I said, ‘’see ya around Ace, I’ll tell ya when we need some help around the farm, then you can help out if you want’’


After saying my goodbyes I walked back to the library, it was still early in the afternoon. Today I had done with my chores faster than normal, which meant I had a whole day left to hang around with Twilight. Spike was away for royal business to Canterlot, the princes had something where she needed Spike for.


I reached the library and opened the door, I placed my saddlebags on the kitchen table. ‘’Twilight I’m back’’ I yelled upstairs without getting a response. 


I walked up the stairs and opened the door to Twilight her room, there were books everywhere but no pony, ‘’she must be out’’, I said to myself.


I walked downstairs to get something to eat, on the fridge there was a note, addressed to me. ‘’Dear Ace, at Fluttershy’s, back around 6. You can come over if you want when you are done with your chores.  ~Twilight’’.


I looked at the clock, it was almost four o’clock, so I decided to go over to see Twilight and Fluttershy. I flipped the sign on the door of the library to ‘closed’ and walked outside towards Fluttershy her cottage at the edge of the forest.


When I was about to walk up of town Rarity walked up to me, ‘’well hello there Ace, haven’t seen you in a while. Have you been working out?’’.


I blushed, unseen thanks to my red coat. ‘’no not really, but I have been flying and walking a lot the past few weeks’’ I said with a smile, ‘’but I have to go now, ponies are waiting for me’’. I wasn’t in the mood for conversation about fashion so I used my visit to Fluttershy as an excuse.


‘’really is that so, you aren’t happening to go and visit Fluttershy are you?’’ she asked me, ‘’yes for matter in fact I am, how do you know?’’


‘’I was going to visit Fluttershy too’’ she said with a smile, ‘’let us walk together shall we, you have to hear about this new dress design I have…’’


I was sighed softly and forced up a fake smile, ‘’ooh well how interesting… tell me about it’’. Rarity made a *eek* sound and started to talk about her new design.


I blocked her out and simply nodded when there fell a silence, I was just enjoying the scenery and the cool wind blowing through my mane. We walked for five minutes and reached the cottage, I knocked at the door. ‘’coming’’ Fluttershy said softly.


The door opened, greeted each other I walked inside and took place on the couch next to Twilight, ‘’Hi Ace how are you doing? Had any events today?’’ she asked the last part in a whisper. I nodded and received a smile from her.


Rarity took next to Twilight and started the story about the dress again, Twilight was listening just like I did, she gave me the hint about nodding when a silence fell in her story, at least if it was going about fashion.

Fluttershy walked up to me, ‘’I have been talking with Twilight about your… uhm well nightmares and I think I have something that could help you get rid of them’’

‘’well… sure why not’’ I said as I walked after her, ‘’I am going to show him the phoenix, he has never seen one before’’ Fluttershy said with a blink to Twilight who smiled and nodded in return, ‘’they are very beautiful creatures, and this one has just renewed itself’’ she then sighed and listened again to ongoing talking of Rarity.


‘’Please promise me you won’t tell anypony’’ Fluttershy said, she walked into her garden towards a small plant and picked some of the leaves from it and putted it in a bag, ‘’if you make tea from leaves you will feel very sleepy and have a peaceful rest, but don’t use more than two or three of them for a whole pot. Okay?’’ said with a smile and handed me the bag, I took it and I nodded.


‘’so what’s the problem, why can’t I tell anyone about it?’’ I asked, ‘’well there are some minor side effects if you eat the leaves… it gets you  well uhm…’’ She blushed heavily, ‘’frisky’’


‘’sometimes teenage colts use this as a drug to get fillies to well… willing, and it this is why it is illegal, and why Twilight doesn’t like it, but she trusts you with it’’ Fluttershy said. ‘’I use it myself sometimes when I can’t sleep, it isn’t harmful in any way to the body and non-addictive and all natural’’ she said with a smile.


I also saw the phoenix, a magnificent bird, ‘’wow, he is beautiful Fluttershy’’ I said with a gasp. We walked back to the room and saw Twilight who was almost dozing off, still sitting next to a still babbling Rarity. ‘’ooh Ace remember we have to be home around six for dinner right, spike say he would cook tonight’’ Twilight said to me with a fake smile.


‘’wasn’t he gone for to Can…’’ *thud* ‘’ouch’’ Twilight hit me with her elbow ‘’remember it was Spike his turn to cook’.


‘’ooh yeah, right, Spike, cooking, yeah…’’ I said to Twilight, ‘’yeah we should go now, bye Fluttershy, bye Rarity’’ she said and pulled me out of the cottage. She sighed loudly when we walked of the path to the door, ‘’if I had to listen to one more dress idea I would have become a dress’’ I laughed.


‘’so did Fluttershy give you the Snake Slumber?’’ she asked suddenly very sincere. I nodded and showed her the bag, ‘’you know I do not approve the use of it, but you are in need of it. But use it wisely!’’ she glared at me, ‘’I didn’t even know it existed, and you recommended it to me’’ I said at Twilight who started to blush, ‘’yes, but I know I can trust you with it’’ she said looking away, still blushing.

We were walking towards the library when dark clouds floated in and it started to rain, we ran towards a tree and covered underneath against the rain.


When we reached the tree we were both soaking wet, and the tree didn’t give that much protection from the rain, for the most of the leaves had already fallen off. I unfolded my wing above Twilight so that she could cover underneath it, she blushed and moved underneath it, ‘’thanks’’ she whispered still blushing.


‘’Where did those clouds come from anyway?’’ I asked, ‘’the weather forecast said that today would sunny and that there wouldn’t be a single cloud in the sky… The weather ponies probably a messed up again in the weather schedule again’’ I sighed.


It was getting cold and Twilight started to quiver, I folded my wing around her and pulled her close to me, causing her to blush even deeper. ‘’come on let’s go, I’ll keep you dry’’ I said with a smile, ‘’but you will get sick in this rain’’ she responded. ‘’probably, but seeming those clouds it will be raining for the rest of the night, and if we stay here we’ll both get sick’’


She blushed again and started to walk beside me under my wing, ‘’thank you, again’’ she said with a smile. ‘’I hate it that all of the other ponies still misjudge you’’ she started, ‘’they just don’t know what you have been through, that’s all. They only see your scar, and think you are dangerous because you came from the sky’’ she said with a smile and looked at the ground, still blushing.


‘’They just don’t know what a great pony you are, you are kind, generous, honest, loyal and fun to be with. I just hate it that most ponies still think that you are an evil entity from another dimension’’ she looked me in the eye, but quickly looked away and blushed yet again.


‘’t-thanks Twi, that is really nice of you to say’’ I responded, ‘’I bet all the girls on your old planet must have been in to you’’ she said with a smile, I blushed at the compliment. ‘’d-did you have a marefriend on your old planet?’’ she asked while looking down at the ground, avoiding my gaze.


‘’well, I had a girlfriend, but she broke up with me when I joined the army… and she cheated on me’’ I said, ‘’ooh, I’m sorry I asked, must have been horrible’’ Twilight responded. ‘’no, I had my revenge. The guy she cheated with on me was in the army of The Night Queen, as did she… killed them both’’ I said plainly, receiving a fearful gaze from Twilight. ‘’pure self-defense’’ I quickly said afterwards, calming Twilight.


We reached the library and I opened the door, moving aside so that Twilight could go in first. I shook the cold water out of my coat before entering, as I entered a warm towel flew onto me and dried me of. As soon as I was dry a blanket flew over to me and covered me. Twilight stood before me and smiled, ‘’do you want some tea?’’ she asked, ‘’yes please’’ I responded with a smile. Twilight walked towards the fireplace and lit it, before she trotted into the kitchen.


I took place on the couch in front of the fireplace, and looked into the flames. The heat that emitted from it warmed my body, I lay down, my eyes started to feel heavy. As I closed my eyes it only took a few moments until I dozed off in sleep.

‘’Ace, run you idiot, RUN!’’, I couldn’t leave my brother here left to die, I looked back. There he was holding back a door that they were trying to break open. ‘’I love ya bro’’ he said before the door busted open with a loud explosion,  engulfing him into a sea of flames and pieces of metal that came from the door. ‘’Ace, Ace!’’


I shot up, Twilight was standing in front of me. I was sweating and panting heavily, ‘’are you okay? Did you have a nightmare again?’’ she asked with a concerned look at her face, ‘’was it the one about the machine?’’ I shook my head. ‘’no this one was new, it was about my b-brother. I saw him die… I remember why he died, he tried to save me with his own life. He sacrificed himself for me!’’ I said as tears started to roll over my cheeks.


Twilight sat beside me and pulled me into and hug, I hugged her back and started to sob in her mane. ‘’why do I remember this all of the sudden?’’ I asked in a whisper, Twilight shrugged. ‘’I don’t know Ace…’’


I recovered and broke the hug. I looked at the clock and saw that it was quarter till eleven, ‘’how long have I slept?’’ I asked, ‘’for about three hours, but the last ten minutes you started to shake and moan, so I woke you up’’ Twilight replied. ‘’you still want that tea?’’ Twilight asked, ‘’how about I make you that special tea?’’ she asked and rolled her eyes.


I shook my head, ‘’nah, do you have some booze?’’ I asked simply, ‘’s-sure, why not. Mind if I join?’’ replied with a smile, as a bottle of Buck Daniels and two glasses floated over, covered in a purple aura. I smiled and poured some the beverage in the glasses and gave one of them to Twilight.


We drank all night and talked about our day to each other, we were just having a great time together. We I drank a bit more than Twilight, and soon I was getting drunk. But the Twilight and the alcohol helped me not to think about my past all night.


It now was one o’clock, and we just opened our third bottle. This was some sort of wine, ‘’this is my favorite’’ Twilight said. I read the label, it said Daisy Wine, and it was a very sweet white wine with indeed a taste of daisies with it. I smiled at Twilight, ‘’excuse me madam, are you trying to get me drunk?’’ I said with a drunk tone in my voice, Twilight wasn’t quite meeting me drink for drink, ‘’no of course not’’ she giggled and blushed.


She scooted closer to me and yawned, I was still lying down. ‘’c-can I sleep here tonight with you? It’s cold upstairs’’ she asked while blushing and looking into the fire. I nodded and finished my glass of wine, I moved to the back of the couch and made place for her to lie down.


She placed lay down beside me, I covered her with my blanket and she pushed herself softly against me. She looked at me and blushed, ‘’okay Ace this is your chance’’ I thought to myself. I placed one of my front legs over her and pulled her closer to me, making it able to also cover her with a wing, as what I did. Twilight sighed softly in a good way and blushed even more intense.


‘’goodnight Twi’’ I whispered, ‘’goodnight Ace, I am really glad you are here’’. I nuzzled Twilight mane and pulled her even closer to me, we were almost spooning now. Twilight sighed again and pushed herself closer to me, now we were spooning. It felt great, holding the pony I loved close to me like this, that though came out of nowhere, as I suddenly realized a feeling that I couldn’t explain before, but had been there for a long time now. 


I was in love with Twilight Sparkle.


> Chapter: Five

 ‘’What the hay?’’  Spike said as he walked in the library, causing Twilight shoot up from the couch, immediately regretting it, as her head started to pound. ‘’do I want to know?’’ he said with a small smirk.


‘’I-I… well uhm’’ Twilight stuttered, ‘’it was cold upstairs and I uhm well… we drank, yeah that is it we were drunk.’’ she blushed deeply and received an unconvinced face from the baby dragon. ‘’nothing happened, I-I just fell asleep next to him nothing more’’ she said loudly while still blushing, ‘’to be honest I only asked about the mess you made with those bottles and books, but it is way more enjoyable seeing you embarrass yourself’’ he said with a big smile.


‘’no gems for you for a week mister!’’ she yelled at Spike, ‘’worth it’’ he said with a smile. Spike walked to the kitchen placing his bag on the table, on top of the herbs Ace got from Twilight. ‘’Breakfast?’’ Spike asked, Twilight nodded while still glaring at him.

‘’Ace, wake up breakfast is ready’’ Twilight said softly and tapped me. I slowly opened my eyes and yawned, ‘’morning, sleepy head’’ she said with a smile.


I inhaled some air with my nose and smelled backed eggs, toast and coffee. I lifted my head and met Twilight at eye level, ‘’morning’’ I said, while I looked her in the eye, causing her to blush again. ‘’d-did you sleep well’’ she said while avoiding my gaze, ‘’never slept better’’ I said in response and nuzzled her, causing her to gasp in delight and giggle. 


‘’breakfast is r… aw common!’’ Spike said and looked away, ‘’you two are making me sick’’. I looked away in shock and coughed, trying to look innocent. ‘’breakfast is on the table, I’m going out’’ he mumbled.


I got off the couch and walked to the kitchen and sat down of one of the chairs, with a plate in front of it. I yawned again and looked at the clock on the wall, I gasped it was three o’clock. ‘’how long did I sleep?’’ I asked Twilight, ‘’about twelve hours, I wanted to wake you up… but you looked so peaceful’’ she said with a smile and sat down on the chair next to me.


We started to eat, an awkward silence between us. There was a question both of us wanted to ask, but neither of us dared to ask, but I gathered all my courage ‘’so about last night…’’ I asked with a blush and small smile.


Twilight blushed as well, ‘’w-what about it’’ she said in a slight sad tone, ‘’I’m sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable, it’s just that I-I well uhm the alcohol’’ she said stuttering and started to twist her hair around her hoof nervously, her face becoming even brighter red. ‘’yeah about that... you didn’t make me feel uncomfortable at all, exactly the opposite. I really liked it’’ I said in a deep blush and scratched the back of my head, while avoiding Twilight her gaze.


‘’you d-did’’ she said while trying to suppress her excitement, I nodded and looked at her. A shy little smile appeared on her face, ‘’I-I did too’’ she whispered shyly. I smiled and nuzzled her, ‘’glad to hear that’’ I whispered teasingly in her ear, causing her to gasp and her eyes to shoot open widely.


‘’ooh dear I-I have to go’’ she jumped up from the chair and ran to the front door and opened it, ‘’b-bye’’ she said before spurting of, hearing her giggle in the distance. I was confused by the sudden streak of events, but then I realized, ‘’Twilight likes me’’ I said proudly and balanced my chair on two legs.


‘’who’’ I shocked and fell backwards on the floor, ‘’ouch, what the…’’ I looked up and saw an owl sitting on the lamp in the kitchen. ‘’Twilight’’ I said to the owl, ‘’who’’ it said in response, ‘’Twilight, you know the purple unicorn that lives here… dumb bird’’ I said the last part silent. ‘’who’’ the owl said, ‘’TWILIGHT!’’ I yelled at it, ‘’who’’

I walked in town, I felt irritated and a bit stupid. I have spent a whole hour trying to explain an owl who Twilight was, before realizing it was an animal and couldn’t speak and only hoot. But now I was searching the town for her, after she ran away in terror from me. I decided to start at carousel boutique, I walked in and a little bell rang.


‘’well well, hello there Ace, I have been expecting you’’ Rarity said with an evil smirk, the door fell shut behind me and I heard it lock, I gulped. ‘’uhm I was just... well leaving’’ I walked back to the door and tried to open it, ‘’or not…’’ I looked back at Rarity and smiled. Her horn started to glow and multiple rolls of cloth flew up and rolled, they wrapped themselves around me, making me unable to move.


‘’What have you done with our little Twilight?’’ she hissed while glaring at me, ‘’n-nothing I swear! I-I was just looking for her when you attacked me’’ I said while dangling upside down. ‘’I don’t ask you a third time, what have you done with Twilight’’ she hissed again, several scissors flew up next to her, I gulped again.


‘’I did nothing, at least nothing bad’’ I said crossing me fore legs in front of my face, to protect my eyes from the sharp scissors. One of the scissors shot forward past my head cutting a piece from my mane and then moved back to position, ‘’I’m feeling extra generous today. For the last time, what have you done with Twilight!’’ she yelled, the scissors floated only an inch away in front of my face now.


‘’last night we drank a bit and then we cuddled and fell asleep together on the couch in front of the fireplace, we lay in a spooning position, is that enough? Please don’t kill me’’ I yelped the last part, by surprise the scissors moved away a bit. ‘’so and how do you feel about her?’’ she asked with a smirk. ‘’w-what do you mean?’’ I asked confused, ‘’zip it, I am the one who asks the questions! So how do you feel about her?’’ she again while glaring at me.


‘’w-why do you want to know, why are you doing this to me and where is Twilight!’’ I was getting angry and concerned about Twilight, ‘’ugh, just answer the question’’ Rarity said. ‘’No! Let me go, now!’’ I yelled at her. She shot another scissor forward, aimed at my mane again, I moved my head and intercepted it with my teeth and cut away my bindings, causing Rarity to yelp.


I jumped towards her and tackled her to the ground, ‘’what the fuck is wrong with you!’’ I yelled to the pinned down Rarity, she was panting in fear. ‘’I-I just w-wanted to k-know i-if you l-liked Twilight’’ she stuttered out, ‘’you could have just asked!’’ I shouted angrily and got of her. ‘’Hey Ace do you like Twilight’’ I said with a bad mimic of Rarity, ‘’yes I love… damnit’’ I looked back at a smiling Rarity. ‘’gotcha’’ she smirked, I suddenly realized how easy it was to snag the scissors from the air and that she did nothing to defend herself against me. It was her little dirty plan all along.


I helped her up from the floor, ‘’you just could have asked, I am a horrible liar…’’ I said with a little smile, ‘’I know’’ she said with a grin, ‘’but this was way more fun!’’ she giggled. I sighed, ‘’but how did you know’’ I asked. My question was answered with a simple gaze; she must have run directly towards here for advice.


‘’I know exactly what Twilight likes and I care about her, so I will help you make her your mare friend’’ she said while starting to bounce around. ‘’I’ll think I can handle it myself, if you are fine with that’’ I said and tilted my head to the door, ‘’can you open it, I have a mare to see’’.

I have been looking all day for Twilight, the sun was starting to set and clouds were floating in again, this time as planned. I walked into the park and sighed, ‘’common Twi where are you?’’ I asked in a whisper. I searched the whole park, nothing. ‘’Common Ace think, where could she be?’’ and then it struck me.

Twilight shot awake, she was panting heavily and started to cry, ‘’it looked and felt so real’’ she mumbled, ‘’please Ace come back, please I love you, please’’ Twilight begged and cried herself to sleep.


I woke up tied up to a pole, ‘’well well look who decided to wake up’’ a sickly looking black mare said, ‘’ooh dear where are my manners, let me introduce myself. My name is Chrysalis, but you may call me Queen Chrysalis!’’ she laughed hysterically. I looked around me and had now sight of Scootaloo, ‘’where is the filly!’’ I demanded to know, ‘’on her way back home I guess’’ she answered plainly, ‘’w-what?’’


‘’I let my children chase her for a while, just scare her a bit. But you, you are the key to my revenge. There is now somepony very worried about you, crying herself to sleep Ace, she feels so lonely Ace, she misses you Ace, she loves you Ace…’’ She said the last part with a grin, ‘’very very mush’’


‘’How do you know my name? and how do you know about Twi?’’ she looked straight at me and shot forward, inches away from my face, ‘’Twi as in Twilight, Twilight Sparkle?’’ she asked with a smile, ‘’ooh this I going to be so much more fun now’’ she giggled and started to dance around. I took my chance to feel the bindings around my wrists, they were poorly tied and easy to escape from.


I untied myself and made a run for it, I noticed that I had my back still on, I took the bomb out and set it to twenty minutes. I threw the bomb towards Queen Chrysalis and started running and flapping my wings as hard as I could, an intense pain shot through me as I tried my left wing, it was broken. I felt that I was being levitated, and be pulled back to the center of the room, to the bomb.


A something pierced me through my back, I cough up little spats of blood and looked down, a black horn stuck out form my stomach. ‘’n-no’’ I sputtered out as I fell on the floor, blood was rushing out of the wound, ‘’what is this, a bomb. You disarm it now!’’ she lifted me up again with her magic and shook me around. Her face expression changed to a small grin, ‘’ooh what is this’’ her horn moved to my chest and started to grow brightly green, it moved through my skin as if it wasn’t even there.


I screamed out in pain as she moved her horn in my heart, my vision was fainting and I felt the life being suck out of me. I grabbed her horn with both of my hoofs and tried to push her away in a final attempt, suddenly everything went black.

Twilight was sitting on a park bench in the cold winter rain, a letter lay beside her. ‘’To my faithful student Twilight Sparkle, I am sad to report that the task I gave to your coltfriend Ace has been a failure. His failure didn’t only cost him his life, but also brought whole Equestria in danger. I hope you we be able to coop with this sad news. Princes Celestia’’


She was waiting, today would be the day he would return, but spike gave her the letter when she was waiting in the park at the location they had agreed to meet. She hasn’t moved since, she read the letter. A mixture of rain and tears ran over her face, she took out a scroll and a quill from her bag. 


‘’Dear princes Celestia, I am sad to report that I will not be able to coop with the news, and the only pony to blame is you. You knew the risks, you knew that the chance was nil that it would be a success. You, no pony else, you sensed him to his death, by threatening him trough me. I shall no longer accept the title as you student and will no longer report to you about my findings. You ex-faithful student Twilight Sparkle’’


She putted the letter and the quill back in the bag and teleported home, ‘’Spike here now’’ she said and Spike ran of the stairs, ‘’Twilight w-what’s wrong?’’ he said as he saw her face expression. She levitated the note from her saddlebag and levitated it in front of spike, ‘’send it’’.


Spike hesitated, ‘’Twi what was in the letter I brought you this afternoon?’’ he asked with a concerned look, ‘’Spike, send the letter NOW!’’ she demanded. Spike breathed out a small green flame and the letter teleported away, ‘’take care of the library, I’ll be back in a few days’’ Twilight said as she walked out of the door.


‘’Twilight, where are you going, what was in the letter?’’ Spike said and ran after Twilight, Twilight took out a wet piece of paper from her saddlebag and placed it a table before teleporting away. Spike belched and a letter appeared in front of him, addressed to Twilight, he placed it on the table and took the wet piece of paper from it and read it. His eyes shot wide open and her ran towards a desk.


‘’dear princes Celestia, Spike here, Twilight just left the library but she gave me the letter you wrote to her this afternoon. What happened to Ace? Where is Twilight going? Please princes explain, I am very worried about her. Your loyal subject Spike’’

There it was, the hive of Queen Chrysalis, Ace was inside, she knew it. A huge swarm of changelings flew outside, moved to a battle formation and charged towards Twilight. Twilight conjured at huge wall of fire and shot it forward, it scorched most of the changeling to death and those who did survive fell to their death as their wings were burnt away.


She walked inside and illuminated the whole tunnel with her horn, nothing… she continued and heard a lot of noise coming from the center of the hive. She spurted of into a gallop, ‘’T-Twilight’’ she heard suddenly and stopped to look around, ‘’ooh Twilight it is you’’ and purple maned orange filly ran up to he and hugged one of her front legs, ‘’S-Scootaloo’’ Twilight said dumbfounded. 


Scootaloo explained the whole situation and the plan to Twilight. ‘’is Ace still alive?’’ she asked to the filly, Scootaloo nodded, ‘’but barely, she is using him for his love, Celestia was wrong again… he does have real pony love’’ Scootaloo said. ‘’but Scootaloo why did you came back?’’ Twilight asked curiously, ‘’he is my partner and I have to save him’’ she exclaimed proudly and pounded herself on the chest. Twilight giggled, ‘’let’s go!’’ she said and spurted off into the darkness with Scootaloo behind her


After a while they found the central room, there were changelings everywhere, and in the center Queen Chrysalis who was with her horn in the chest of Ace. He had a nasty wound in his stomach, ‘’Ace!’’Twilight yelled out, drawing the attention of the Chrysalis, ‘’why does everypony keep disturbing me!’’ she hissed and turned around.


‘’ooh Twilight and the little whelp, how nice to see you again’’ she Chrysalis said with a smirk, ‘’let him go, right now!’’ Twilight demanded. ‘’I’m sorry dear, but this one is even more useful than that pitiful brother of yours and I am forcing nothing, right dear’’ she said and turned to Ace. She kissed him on the mouth and slid her forked tongue in his mouth, ‘’yes… my queen’’ I said in a metallic tone, he opened his eyes, there was no color in it they were completely black.


‘’N-no, Ace wake up! Please’’ Twilight pleaded and tears started to well up in her eyes. ‘’you surely know to pick them Twilight, he surely isn’t a small stallion, if you know what I mean’’ she smirked. ‘’be a dear and kill these two’’ Chrysalis said to Ace, he nodded and jumped to his hooves, ‘’everything for you my love’’ he said again in his metallic voice.


Tears rolled over Twilight her face as she saw the condition of Ace, his right wing was broken, blood was dripping from the wound in his belly as was the one on his back, he was very skinny and he limped. ‘’No’’ Twilight cried out, Ace collapsed and got back up with a struggle. He couched, causing little spats of blood to fly through the air. ‘’Ace?’’ Scootaloo whispered in fear, ‘’die’’ he screamed and hit his hooves through the air, five feet before Twilight and Scootaloo, and fell on his broken wing, causing it to make a sick crunching sound.



He lay still, breathing very shallow with a gurgling sound. ‘’I took it all, all his love and life force’’ I am back at full power now, and there is nothing you can do about it’’ Chrysalis said with a smile, followed by a evil laughter from her and all of her minions, ‘’I’ll be kind to you and break the spell, than you can say some last words to him’’.


Ace his black eyes opened and regained their color, ‘’Ace!’’ Twilight ran towards him and sat next to him, ‘’T-Twi’’ he said between deep breaths, ‘’I’m here, come on get up, please Ace’’ he shook his head weakly. ‘’I can’t Twi, I’m sorry’’ he said in a whisper, ‘’t-the bomb, set the bomb and get out of here’’


I struggled to get up, pain shooting through my body, I had to bite through. I got up, the pain was agonizing, but I had to ignore it. I sighed and flapped my wings slowly, then I one strong beat I used my left wing to jump into Chrysalis, we both went down. I took the bag with the bomb and threw it to Twilight, ‘’set it and go! I love you!’’ I yelled as all of the changeling shot towards me while I was pinning down their queen.


Scootaloo took the bag and set the bomb on one minute, ‘’let’s go Twi, there is nothing we can do’’ (55) Twilight shot in tears and ran towards the buzzing cloud of changelings and started to shoot them one by one with a magical beam (46) they kept coming and attacking Ace, biting and hitting him(30). ‘’Twilight we have to go, only twenty-five seconds left’’(25) Scootaloo yelled. Suddenly a red bloody hoof came out of the cloud and Twilight pulled it, it was only a leg with a white bone sticking out(10) Twilight dropped the leg and ran to Scootaloo, ‘’ Twilight now!’’ the air around them started to spark and they teleported away, ‘’goodbye Ace’’(3) Twilight sobbed.


They teleported outside of the hive at a safe distance and looked at it, the whole structure got sucked inwards followed by a loud bang. Twilight sat up a bubble shield to protect them from the debris that came from the implosion. Twilight started to cry, as did Scootaloo.

 It has been a month since I lost him, my love. Princes Celestia is now the least favorite princes, Luna now I charge of most of the court hours, the ones that Celestia does give she only gets haters that come to insult her, she had sensed a pony knowing to a certain horrible death.


But his legacy continues for I Twilight Sparkle are pregnant, I discovered it a few weeks after he died. I haven’t told anypony jet, I’ll try to hide it as long as possible. It was a few day after I became Princes Luna her student, she thought me about magic and I thought her how to act normally in public.


I also moved back to Canterlot, so that it would be easier to make my reports to Luna, and the library reminded me to much of him. Every week the six of us, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and i would come together to talk about our week and just have fun.

It was beginning to show, my belly was getting rounder, it has been four months now, I had to tell Spike about my pregnancy. ‘’Spike come over here, w-we have to talk’’ Spike looked questioning at m, ‘’what is it Twilight?’’ he asked. ‘’I-I am pr…’’ I stopped, ‘’proud at me of how good I cleaned up your books’’ I glanced at him, ‘’no Spike… I am pregnant, from Ace’’ I said and looked down at my hooves. ‘’awesome, I’m gonna be a big brother’’ he jumped up and hugged me, ‘’wait a minute, how long have you know… because it has been four months since he… you know’’


‘’A few months’’ I said ashamed, ‘’I am afraid Spike, I’m going to have a foal, and I will have to raise it all by myself… and it will never know his or her father’’ I sighed as I felt tears welling up in my eyes. ‘’who else knows?’’ Spike asked, ‘’you are the only one’’ I responded, Spike blushed proudly. ‘’well, you have to tell your friends’’ he mumbled, ‘’what about I write some invitations around for a party or something and then you’ll tell them’’


The invitations have been sent and the girls would be here within an hour or so. Another week had past, I felt myself glow with pride of my young and insecure by the challenges that were awaiting me, but I was sure that my friends would be there to stand by my side. My thoughts got interrupted by a loud knocking on the door, I opened the door and there was Rarity, fashionably to early, ‘’hi Rarity’’ I said with a smile and hugged her. ‘’hello Twilight, how wonderful to see you again, how are you doing’’ she asked looking a bit concerned, ‘’I’m doing fine, what about you’’. Rarity looked curious at me, ‘’there is something different about you… but I can’t place my hoof on it’’ I smiled awkwardly in response, ‘’you have gotten fa… rounder, but not in your face’’ she smiled and hugged me, ‘’congratulations’’ she said under the hug. ‘’this isn’t a party is it, this is a baby shower’’ Rarity said to me as I started to blush and nodded, ‘’ooh how wonderful… ooh, its Ace’s huh’’ she said to me and I nodded again.


Several moments later the other four came at the same time, Pinkie Pie set up a quick music installation and played some music. ‘’so why hold a party so all of the sudden’’ Applejack asked after a while, ‘’why not, you can always throw a party you silly filly’’ Pinkie Pie interrupted, ‘’well actually no Pinkie Pie, I have an announcement to make which requires celebration’’ I said to the pink party pony, ‘’then tell us!’’ she responded suddenly very interested, she lowered the volume of the music and stood in front of my.


All five ponies in the room stared at me, Rarity gave me a little nod, ‘’girls… I-I am uh well’’, ‘’just say it already’’ Rainbowdash interrupted. I took a deep breath, ‘’girls I’m pregnant’’ Rainbow Dash her mouth fell agape, as did Applejacks. Rarity smiled proudly at me, Pinkie Pie started to jump around cheering, Fluttershy made a *eep* and smiled widely and Rainbow and AJ stood with their mouths wide agape. Applejack closed hers and walked up to me with a smile, ‘’congrats’’ she said as she hugged me.


Everypony congratulated me and hugged me, except for Rainbow Dash who stood there dumbfounded with her mouth still agape, ‘’Rainbow! Say that you are happy for her… you are happy for her right’’ Rarity glared at Rainbow Dash, she nodded then she spoke, ‘’ I am happy for her, but I didn’t expect an egghead like Twilight to do… well you know, the thing you have to do to have a foal’’ I blushed at the comment.


‘’ooh please Rainbow Dash, we are all adults here, and we all did it once. We all know you have to make love to get a foal, and you and Applejack do it all the time!’’ Rarity responded making the couple blush, ‘’wait a minute we didn’t all do it yet… right’’ Rainbow said and looked at Fluttershy who started to blush brightly, Rainbow grinned, ‘’well well, little timid Fluttershy, who was the lucky stallion’’ Fluttershy lowered herself to the ground and covered her eyes with her hooves, causing Rainbow Dash to shoot in laughter.


‘’Do we know him?’’ Applejack asked who was trying to join in on the fun, ‘’well… no… maybe… I guess… yes…’’ Fluttershy whimpered, ‘’just tell us Shy’’ Applejack said kindly. ‘’well it was… uh… well… your brother Big Mac’’ Applejacks mouth fell agape as did Rainbow Dash’s, ‘’you say what now!’’


‘’Girls! We are her for Twilight, not to discuss our sexual adventures’’ Rarity shouted and looked at me, I smiled, ‘’no Rarity it’s okay, it is quite amusing. I didn’t know that Applejack could go this pale’’ I joked and pointed at the shocked Applejack. Rainbow Dash was rolling on the flour laughing, ‘’quick get a camera!’’ she laughed out.


‘’he is real… nice’’ Fluttershy whispered, ‘’c-can’t b-breath’’ The laughing Rainbow Dash said.


‘’bye girls, see you next week’’ I said as I waved them goodbye. I was very happy that they knew, ‘’Spike take a letter’’ spike ran to a desk and sat down. ‘’Dear princes Luna, tonight I had my friends over to make an announcement, for I am pregnant from Ace. I hope you’ll understand that I am still having a hard time due to his passing, but his legacy is able to live on through our love. He is the savior of Equestria, without him the changelings would have taken over and consumed all the love, therefore I ask you to honor his heroic deed by allowing a memorial to be made or a holiday for the day that he sacrificed his own life to save Equestria. Your faithful student Twilight Sparkle.


Spike send the letter and a few moments later a nock came on my door, I opened it and found myself in a tight embrace from princes Luna, ‘’congratulations, Twilight’’

‘’Hi dear, it’s almost time, a few more days and you’ll be a father’’ I said as I stood by his tombstone, we gave him a grave even though there wasn’t anything to bury. ‘’She has been kicking a lot lately, she will be a feisty one.. just like you’’ my eyes teared up again, ‘’it has been almost a year now since you had to leave us, I still miss you… I’ll always miss you. You have meant so much to me, you still do…’’ I sat down and started sobbing softly, ‘’I wish that you could be with me still, if there only would be a way’’ I felt her kick and smiled, there would always be the time spells… but that would only change the future for that Twilight, my Ace was no more.


I opened the door to my house and walked in, I hang my coat up and lay down on the couch, my back ached a lot. I felt her kick again, I smiled, ‘’just a few more days’’ I whispered and stroked my tense belly, ‘’just a few more days’’.  I yawned and lay my head down, not long after I fell asleep.





‘’Twilight I’m home’’ Spike said as he walked in the door, I was still asleep on the couch. ‘’Twilight, wake up, I brought diner’’ he said and poked my forehead. I opened my eyes and sat up, ‘’what time is it?’’ I asked, ‘’around eight, why?’’ he said wondering, ‘’I have been asleep for five hours… must have been tired’’. Spike curiously at my face, ‘’have you been crying?’’ he asked, I nodded, ‘’again about Ace… Twilight it has almost been a year now, you have to let it go one day’’ I glared at him, ‘’I am carrying his foal, I think I’ll keep him in mind a bit l longer…’’ .


I got up and walked to the dinner table, I sat down at one of the chairs and sighed. ‘’I don’t know if I’m ready for it Spike… Being a mother is a great responsibility and I’m not sure if I’m ready for the test…’’ Spike looked confused at me as he set up two plates at the table, ‘’of course you are, you raised me didn’t you’’ he said with a smile, ‘’and I will help you, you know that’’ I smiled at him, ‘’and that is why you are my number one assistant’’ I petted him on his head and started to eat.


‘’well I’m off to bed, goodnight Spike’’ I walked to my room and lay down carefully in my bed, I yawned and closed my eyes, but sleep didn’t want to come fast. My mind was with the foal I was going to get and that I would be fatherless, but I have my friends who are always there for me.

‘’That stallion ruined me*hiccup*, his dead bloody ruined me!’’ Celestia said out loud in her room to herself, she took another bottle of wine, opened it and drank half the bottle in one go. ‘’How could this have happened, why did that little bitch had to interfere…’’ she stumbled and fell on her side, ‘’fluck… my booze!’’ she quickly re-levitated the bottle she had dropped and started to lick the spilled wine from the floor.


‘’Celestia, could thou help us with… what is thee doing’’ Luna walked in and saw her sister lick wine from the floor, ‘’why are thou licking the floor?’’ Luna tilted her head to the side and looked confused. ‘’well… there was this fall and then I spilled it and I was thirsty and I decided to lick it up, because I was thirsty’’ Celestia mumbled, barely being able to stand up straight, ‘’thou is drunk again isn’t thee’’ Luna said with a smile, ‘’nah, not at all, why would you think that’’ Celestia muttered. ‘’thou were licking the floor almost a foot away from the spill, there is a stack of empty bottles in the corner of thou room… and thou barfed on our hooves’’ Celestia lifted her head and a drip of saliva dangled from her chin, ‘’uhps’’ Celestia giggled, ‘’hairball’’.


Luna sighed and helped Celestia to get to her bed, and wiped her mouth with a high quality towel, ‘’sister, you have to stop doing this, it’s not healthy for thee’’ Luna said to a half unconscious Celestia, she turned around, ‘’Tia we need your help running the kingdom, but the only thing thou do is drink and thou fell asleep…’’ she muttered as she looked back.


Luna walked out her sisters chambers, ‘’do not allow her to come even close to any sort of alcoholic beverage, is that clear?’’ Luna ordered to Celestia her guards, ‘’y-yes princes’’ they said in unison. ‘’another day for me to rule alone…’’ Luna sighed and began her royal duties for the day.


She raised the sun, her sister was too drunk to do it. It took Luna a lot more energy to do this, for her element was the moon, not the sun. Due to Celestia her depression Luna had to do all the duties they were supposed to share, it took her all day and night, she didn’t even have time to sleep. Even though she was an alicorn she also needed rest, not as much as a normal pony, but still she needed it. 


She had been awake for a month straight now and it started to take its toll, during her courts she often fell asleep when somepony was even the slightest bit boring. She needed the help of her sister, for she had enough power, skill and age to do it all by herself. But Luna lagged them all, for she was too young to have enough power and due to the thousand years of banishment to the moon she now also lagged the skill.


Another long day had taken yet again its toll on the young alicorn, she slumped to her chambers and raised the moon with her last bit of energy. She then let herself fall on her bed and immediately fell asleep, but not for too long for she had also to hold night court, which was busier since she was the favorite princes.


‘’princes Luna, wake up princes!’’ a voice spoke from behind the closed doors. Luna opened her eyes, ‘night court already’ she thought. ‘’princes you have to lower the moon and raise the sun! with all respect but you are already two hours late… civilians are starting to complain’’ the voice said. 

Luna her eyes shot open, she slept all night but didn’t feel rested at all, maybe a bit but not enough to compensate for the sleepless month. She got up and lowered the moon with ease, then she focused deeply and started to move the sun with her alicorn magic a small line of light appeared on the horizon, when she was done she was exhausted again and the day just started.


She steadied herself and walked to the door, the voice she heard was form the royal advisor, ‘’finally princes, there is so much to do!’’ Luna silenced him by raising one of her hooves. She galloped towards Celestia her room and bucked it open, ‘’You get up from your lazy drunk ass and help me rule this kingdom! We are meant to rule together, not one rules and the other one gets drunk all day and night!’’ she shouted to the still sleeping Celestia, fueled with rage.

Celestia popped her head up, ‘’Luna please be quite, I have this huge hangover… why do you let me drunk this much?’’ Luna her mouth fell agape, her horn started to glow, she lifted up the bed of Celestia and threw it out of the window with a angry roar.

I woke up by the sun that fell through the window of her room, I yawned and stretched myself, ‘’morning’’ I whispered and petted my round belly. I looked at the clock in my room, it was ten o’clock, then I looked out of the window. ‘’That’s odd, sunrise at ten o’clock in Spring…’’ I sat up and slowly lowered myself to the ground.


A sharp pain shot through my belly, causing I grimaced. ‘’that’s also odd’’ I said while panting from the pain. I walked out of her room, slow but steady. Another sharp pain, ‘’SPIKE!’’ I yelped, Spike ran down the stairs of the house into the kitchen where I was, ‘’w-what’s wrong Twilight?’’ he asked in terror, ‘’I think it’s time’’ I said through gasps of breath, ‘’time for what… oh right breakfast, I’m on it!’’ he said and opened a cabinet. ‘’spike, she’s coming! Get me us to the hospital’’


Spike’s eyes shot wide open and ran to his desk, he hastily scribbled down something on a note, ‘’Twilight lay down, now. A carriage I coming to pick us up’’ he said and breathed fire over the piece of parchment her just wrote on. He ran to me and helped me on the couch, ‘’just stay still, and tell me when you feel contractions’’ he said and dashed off into the kitchen and returned and returned with a glass of water. ‘’here drink something’’ Spike said and offered me the glass, I levitated it towards my face and took a sip, ‘’thank you Spike’’ I said


After a few minutes there was a knock on the door, Spike opened it, ‘’lives Twilight Sparkle here’’ the pegasus pony behind the door spoke, ‘’yes, I’ll help her get there, go and prepare the carriage’’ Spike replied. Spike ran towards me and helped me of the couch and towards the door, ‘’you two are going to be alright’’ he said and walked me to the carriage.


I sat down and Spike beside me, ‘’to the hospital, fast! B-but safe’’ he ordered, the stallion chuckled and began to pull the carriage forward. Another sharp pain, ‘’spike, another one… this is too soon, it was supposed to be next week’’ I said with a fearful expression, ‘’what if something is w-wrong’’ I whimpered. ‘’Twilight listen to me, sometimes foals are born a bit earlier than expected, there is nothing wrong. I promise’’ Spike said reassuringly.


We reached the hospital and the carriage stopped in front of it, ‘’Twi stay here, I’m going to get someone’’ Spike said, jumped out of the carriage and ran into the hospital. Several seconds later he came back out with a nurse behind who was pushing an empty wheelchair, ‘’okay Twi, come out and sit down. I’ll help you’’ Spike said and pointed at the wheelchair.


The pegasus chuckled, ‘’ooh the memories’’ he chuckled, ‘’you are going to do just fine ma’am, good luck’’ he said with a smile and took off. I was pushed inside by the nurse, Spike was next to me all the time. ‘’sorry sir, but only the father can come’’ the nurse said to Spike, he nodded in understanding, which shocked me a bit. ‘’take care of our mom, okay’’ Spike said to the nurse, she smiled and nodded and pushed me though into a room and helped me on a bed.


The thing Spike just said melted my heart, he saw me as his mother, and the to be born filly already as his sister. I smiled, I was ready, everything was going to be fine.

‘’Celestia, I just received note that Twilight went into labor, maybe you wanted to know…’’ Luna said to her sister, who was still mad at her for throwing her out of the window. ‘’w-what?!’’ Celestia said in shock, ‘’she was pregnant! Why didn’t anyone tell me!’’ she shouted out. ‘’I did tell you, around five times! But thou were too drunk to remember’’ Luna spoke, ‘’Luna language. I told you I am sorry for my misbehavior, but still that was no excuse for you to throw me out of the window’’ Celestia said. ‘’yes it was! The only thing you have been doing the last month was drinking and fooling around with your guards! You didn’t even remember that Twilight was pregnant, do you even remember why you drank in the first place, that you send the father of the foal to his death’’ Luna spoke and increased the volume of her voice with magic.


Celestia drooped down her head, ‘’y-yes I remember… all too well. I didn’t expect him to die, I thought his love was un-noticeable’’ she mumbled, ‘’but now everypony hates me, I admit that I made a major mistake, but that isn’t a reason to hate me…’’


‘’Tia please, you didn’t even try to make it right, you shrugged it off as if it was nothing. He saved all of Equestria and you didn’t even paid any respect, you used him as a tool!’’ Luna interrupted her sister, ‘’you should be ash…’’ suddenly a letter magically from Luna her horn, she read it and smiled. She looked at her sister and frowned, she rolled up the letter and threw it right at Celestia her face, hitting her directly on the nose.

Luna gave her sister another glare and took off towards Ponyville, ‘’Luna wait!’’ Celestia yelled, but Luna was already gone. Celestia read the letter, ‘’dear princes Luna, could you do me a favor and go to Ponyville and round up my friends, take them to the Canterlot hospital and go to room 208. I have somepony new they would like to meet, feel free to join them with their visit. Your faithful student, Twilight Sparkle’’


Celestia dropped the letter and started to sob, ‘’what have I done?’’ she whispered.

Luna reached Ponyville and had rounded up the five friends, she took them to Canterlot by the use of teleportation. The group walked towards the Canterlot hospital, they were all exuberant of what they were going to witness. They reached the hospital and trotted inside, in the lobby a Spike ran towards them, ‘’You’re here’’ he squealed from excitement, ‘’we have to wait just a little bit longer, they are resting’’ he said.


‘’but Twilight send me a letter half an hour back?’’ Luna said and looked questioning at Spike, ‘’yeah about that, Twilight pre-wrote the letter… you know how organized she can be’’ she scratched the back of his head, ‘’she told me that I should send it as soon as I had news about the birth… and I was a little over excited so I send it a bit to early’’ he blushed. 


Luna smiled and nodded in understanding, ‘’don’t worry Spike, we’ll wait for as long as she needs’’ she said. As she spoke a doctor walked up to spike ‘’she is ready for visitors now’’ he said to the purple baby dragon.


The group walked chattering after the doctor who led them to the Twilight was in, ‘’please don’t be too loud or jumpy. The foal is asleep and she is still very exhausted, normally we wouldn’t  allow any visitors yet, but she said she needed to see you…’’ the doctor spoke and opened the door to room 208.


The group walked through the door into the room, ‘’hi guys’’ Twilight said when she saw her friends and the princes, ‘’ooh princes Luna, I’m glad you could come too’’. The group only took half in what Twilight said and only were looking at the little bundle on her arms, their faces full of expectation.


‘’I have someone here I want you meet’’ Twilight said and unwrapped the little bundle, a little sleeping foal. ‘’eek she is so adorable’’ Fluttershy almost shouted out and almost instantly blushed after she realized her outburst. The rest didn’t even notice, for they were in complete awe with the little new born filly.


The foal peeped her eyes open and yawned, causing the group to *aaaawwww*. Twilight blushed and looked at her daughter, she nuzzled her, receiving a smile from the young filly. Her eyes started to tear up.
