> Ancient Warriors: Stag Beetles of Light and Darkness! > by ShogunWriter106 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Reviving Ancients! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the library of Canterlot Castle, Sunset Shimmer continued to write on an archive scroll as she walked past a shelf of books in her jeans and white shirt and black jacket. It has been two years since she tried to leave Equestria through the magical mirror if Princess Celestia hadn't caught her in time to stop her. At first, Sunset disliked her new position of being Canterlot's new archivist, but as time went on, she has grown to respect it and started to regret her actions and eventually apologized to Princess Celestia, which the princess gracefully forgave her in return as she hugged her in her arms. Sunset Shimmer also befriended Twilight Sparkle, Princess Celestia's new student, through their mutual love for books when they literally bumped into each other one day; she also grew fond of Twilight Sparkle as the little sister she never had. When Princess Luna was restored from her Nightmare influence, she came to treat her as an aunt as she treated Princess Celestia like a mother. The moon princess eventually decided to take Sunset Shimmer as her student much to the unicorn's and Celestia's surprise. Sunset sighed in happiness as she strolled down another aisle of books, but then a shimmer of light coming from one of the books caught her attention. "Hm?" Confused, she used her magic to bring the book to her. The book was black with gold corners and it has a strange symbol that resembles a stag beetle on the cover, "I've never seen this one before..." Putting down her scroll and quill on a nearby table, she brought the book to her hands and opened it to see what's inside it. "Let's see what we got here," Sunset Shimmer mumbled as she sat down on a chair. She turned the page to find many ancient symbols inside the book. As she continued to flip through the pages, she started to notice a set of Neighponese characters under the symbols while some were faded from time, but there were two words that are completely written in Equestrian on the end of every page: Kuuga and N-Daguva-Zeba. "'Kuuga and N-Daguva-Zeba?' Who are they?" Sunset wondered as she closed the book and stared at the cover. Suddenly a book flew from its shelf, and started to bark at her like an angry dog. Sunset shrieked as she grabbed the book she was holding while many other books came to life and started flapping around the library like a flock of angry vultures! "What the hay is going on?!" Sunset exclaimed as she dodged a sumo-performing chair from tackling her and managed to escape out of the library and slammed the doors behind her as she panted in fear. There is one being in Equestria who could create such havoc and mischief, and she gulped in fear at the realization. "I have to find Princess Celestia and Luna!" She stated as she immediately rushed off to the castle. The doors slammed open as Sunset Shimmer made her way to Princess Celestia's throne. As she walked towards the throne, she saw her teacher talking to Twilight and her friends. "Princess Celestia! We have a problem! The books at the Canterlot Library are literally flying off the shelves and a chair tried to perform jujitsu on me!" Sunset Shimmer spoke in a panicked tone. "Sunset, please calm down! I'm well aware of the chaos that is happening outside," Celestia placated as she took out a box from behind a sealed door, "but don't worry, with these Elements of Harmony, Twilight and her friends will stop Discord!" However, as she opened the box, there was nothing inside! Everyone in the room was extremely shocked at this! "The Elements! They're gone!" Twilight exclaimed. "It doesn't make sense! That room is protected by a spell only I can break!" Celestia said as she paced in her royal white dress. "Oh, Celestia!" A voice spoke up from out of nowhere, "Since when does 'sense' have any fun at all?" "Discord!" Sunset spoke in fear. "Now, normally I would gloat in front of your cute little faces, but right now I'm currently busy with something! So, I will tell you where the Elements are in my own way." Discord's voice spoke as it echoed in the throne room which was immediately followed by the sound of an anvil dropping, "Argh! Still won't open! Lousy coffins! Ahem! Continuing where I left off: To retrieve your missing Elements, just make sense of this change of events. Twist and turns are my master plan. Then find the Elements back where you began." "Wow! The author must be really lazy and tired to write that up!" Pinkie Pie muttered quietly to herself as she fiddled with her pink hoodie while drinking a cup of chocolate milk rain with a swirly straw. Meanwhile in another dimension, The Author suddenly sneezed in front of his computer. He glanced around a bit before he shrugged and continued typing. "Well, I gave you the hint! All that is left for you is find out where the Elements are!" Discord mocked as another noise was heard in the background that sounds like dynamites exploding, "Grrgh! Come on! Discord then immediately laughed as his voice faded away from the room, making the Mane Six, Sunset Shimmer, and Princess Celestia tensed from it. "'Twists and turns...' 'Twist and turns...' 'Twist and Turns!'" Twilight exclaimed as she brought her fist into her palm in realization. "Princess Celestia! Discord must have hidden the elements inside the labyrinth!" "Be careful Twilight," Celestia said as she watched Twilight and her friends leave the throne room. As soon as they were gone, she turned to Sunset Shimmer who was still holding the black book, "Sunset, what is that you are holding?" "This?" Sunset asked as she gestured to the item, "I found this book in the Canterlot Library. It's filled with symbols and some Neighponese characters, but I don't understand what they mean. The only words that were written in Equestrian are 'Kuuga' and 'N-Daguva-Zeba.'" "Kuuga and N-Daguva-Zeba!?" Celestia exclaimed in fear, "But they were sealed away many years ago when they helped the Sirens escaped from Star Swirl the Bearded!" "How were they sealed away?" Sunset asked in growing dread. "They were thrown into two coffins and were placed in the dungeons of the Castle of... the... Two Sisters..." Celestia's voice trailed off as her eyes begin to widen in terrible realization, "No! No! NO! He wouldn't! Sunset! You must get to the castle in the Everfree Forest! Quickly, before it is too late! Stop Discord from releasing the ancient warriors!" Sunset Shimmer, a little stunned, quickly complied as she teleported away from the throne room in a flash of cyan magic. Princess Celestia strolled slowly to her throne and slumped into it as she placed her hand on her head in fear, hoping that it won't be too late to stop Discord from doing something stupid. "Come... on!" Discord grunted as he used a crowbar to try to pry the stone coffins open, only for it to bend from the strain, "Oh fiddlesticks! Looks like that old stallion made sure the locks would be secure and could only be unlocked by the words of the Gurongi Tome! Twilight and her friends are bound to arrive at my meeting spot any minute now!" Discord pulled out a wristwatch with a likeness of his lion paw and eagle claw acting as hands pointing in random directions all at once, "Where am I going to find that book at this time of chaos?!" Right after he said that, a flash of cyan magic appeared in front of him as Sunset Shimmer stood in front of him with a glare on her face. "Discord! I am ordered by Princess Celestia to stop you from releasing the sealed warriors!" Sunset Shimmer growled as her horn glowed with magic while she held the black book under her arm. Discord's eyes briefly turned into light bulbs when he saw that book and quickly formulated a plan. "Who me? Releasing the warriors? What kind of idiotic lunatic do you take me for?" Discord faked as his head opened up to reveal a wooden cuckoo bird popping out. "The kind of dumbbell who doesn't know what they are doing!" Sunset retorted as she snorted steam. Discord chuckled in a knowing tone, "Oh dear Sunset Shimmer, it is you who is the dumbbell for bringing that book to me!" "Wha-?" Sunset's statement was never finished as two cymbals clashed against her head, making her vibrate a bit before fainting to the floor leaving the book floating in midair until Discord caught it in his eagle claw. Discord opened the book while he used his tail to prop the dazed Sunset Shimmer on a pillow against the stone wall, "While I may be a Master of Chaos, that doesn't mean she has to lay on the dirty floor with nothing soft against her back!" He then begins to skim the Gurongi Tome at a rapid pace, "Lets see here... Where is that- AHA! Here we go!" He cleared his throat and begins to recite the incantation, "Ancient warriors of darkness and light! Awaken from your slumber so you may fight! The coffins shone with bright light as the lids started to slowly open to reveal the sleeping figures inside. Discord chuckled as he placed the book beside the unconscious Sunset Shimmer, "At last! The Stag Beetles have awaken at last! Hahaha! Oh this is going to be such a chaotic day for me and Equestria! HAHAHAHAHAHA!" As he continued to laugh, the two figures walked out of the coffins revealing to be a figure in red stag beetle armor and a white figure with armor around his chest as he placed black rings around his wrists and ankles. The eyes of the duo glowed as their fists tightened in eager anticipation. > Escape and Explanations! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Discord immediately stopped laughing as he flew to the red figure to examine him in every way. "My, my! I never thought the warriors of light and darkness would be this... colorful! These horns look really fascinating! What are you exactly based on? A dung beetle?" Discord noted as he used a magnifying glass to examine the horns of the red figure. He did not notice the red figure's hands twitching before they tightly clenched into a fist. "And what do we have here?" Discord intriguingly spoke as he flew over to the white figure as the figure continued to tighten the black rings around his wrists and ankles, "Limiters? For someone of great power? Surely, you can use that power for something more chaotic than that. Oh! Where are my manners? I believe I haven't introduced myself! My name is Discord, master of Chaos at your service and you are?" The white figure stared at Discord for a moment before returning his attention to tightening the black rings. "Hmm, not talkative are we?" Discord hummed as he watched the white figure walked over to the red figure and begin conversing with each other quietly before they nodded, and they looked towards the Master of Chaos with glowing eyes of doom, "Why are you looking at me like that?" "Twilight? Mind explaining to me why a sign that says 'Be back in five minutes' just appeared in front of us after everyone's wings and horns disappeared?" Applejack spoke in confusion as she tilted her stetson. "I don't get it, why would he leave a sign that says he is going to be late?" Rainbow Dash exclaimed as she walked up to it. "Maybe because it has something to do with that strange shadow heading towards us!" Rarity surmised as she pointed at something about to crash at their position. "INCOMING!" Pinkie Pie yelled as she and the rest of the Mane Six ran out of the way just as the shadow crash-landed like a downed biplane where the sign used to be. Fluttershy walked up to the crater and gasped at the sight of Discord having two black eyes with his limbs twitching a bit. "What happened to him?" Twilight wondered as she and the rest of the Mane Six watched Discord started to struggle to get out of the crater. Meanwhile, back at the Castle of the Royal Sisters, the two figures are busy dusting their hands off from giving Discord a punch to the face. "Well N-Daguva-Zeba, what do we do now?" the red figure asked as he brushed some dust off his armor. The white figure, now known as N-Daguva-Zeba, said nothing as he walked over to the unconscious Sunset Shimmer and examined her for a moment before he finally spoke, "For now Kuuga, I suggest we should take this young mare out of this place. Looks like Discord managed to knocked her out with cymbals." "How do you know he knocked her out with cymbals?" Kuuga inquired as he felt around the walls for a weak spot until he pulled out a red marker and drew a X on it. "He left them by the coffins and please call me Daguva! The name is a little long to say!" Daguva stated as he hefted the young mare in his arms, "By the way, how's that escape plan?" "Almost done," Kuuga answered as he took out a crossbow with hieroglyphics on it, "Chou-Henshin!" His armor, eyes, and the gem on his belt immediately turn green as he gained a left shoulder pad and a right arm band as he accessed his Pegasus Form and the crossbow immediately changed into a gun/bow hybrid known as the Pegasus Blowgun. "Stand back," Kuuga gently ordered as he drew back the hammer and power condensed at the firing tip until he pressed the trigger and let go of the hammer to fire an arrow straight at the drawn X. A glowing hieroglyphic appeared where the arrow landed and started to glow violently. "Take cover!" Daguva quickly covered Sunset Shimmer just as the wall exploded with tremendous force! "Remind me to just punch the wall the next time we break out of a prison cell," Kuuga, in his Mighty Form, noted as he brushed some soot off his armor. Daguva could only cough in annoyance as they walked towards the currently chaotic Ponyville, only to be interrupted by Princess Celestia herself as she teleported right in front of them. "Release my sister's student now!" Celestia growled, as she held a broadsword in her hands while her horn glowed in incredible intensity. "Oh, Celestia! Long time no see..." Kuuga said as he waved nervously while Daguva handed over the unconscious unicorn to Celestia, "So how did you know we escaped from that prison?" "When I saw Discord crash-landed in the labyrinth with two black-eyes, I realized he released you two from your coffins!" Celestia explained. Daguva sighed in annoyance as he slapped his hand over his face, "Yet you forgot that the only way the coffins can be opened by speaking an incantation from the Gurongi Tome! The very same book the unicorn mare brought with her when Discord knocked her out!" "And where is that book?" The Sun Princess asked. "The cover was a little singed from the explosion, but thankfully the contents are still readable," Kuuga stated as he pulled out the mentioned book before giving it to Celestia who immediately took it in her magic. "While I understand why you were sealed away for letting the Sirens escape, I don't understand why you let them escape in the first place!" Celestia said as Sunset Shimmer started to stir in her sleep. Kuuga and Daguva could only looked at each other and sighed before they looked towards Ponyville as a double rainbow surrounded it and purified the chaos away from it. "Celestia, we'll tell you the reason why we did it, but not here. We'll explain once we are at your new home," Kuuga stated as he rubbed the back of his head. "NO!" Princess Celestia emphasized this by stabbing her sword to the ground, "You will explain it to me right now!" Kuuga winced as he stepped back a bit from the princess's anger, but Daguva remained calm as he has his eyes closed and his arms crossed over each other. He then opened his eyes to stare at Princess Celestia's, "The Sirens were suffering from a backlash from absorbing the negative feelings of other ponies' arguments and fights." "What do you mean by that?" Celestia asked in confusion. "While the pendants around their necks made them stronger as they absorbed more negative emotions, they were also hurting them mentally and made them paranoid. Kuuga, Star Swirl, and I were the only ones who noticed it and managed to destroyed the pendants in time before the effects became permanent." He explained as he clenched his hands. "Wait! Star Swirl knew? But then why did he sealed you away?" Celestia asked in confusion. "He had no other choice," Kuuga explained as he leaned against a tree, "While we were able to free the Sirens from their curse, the other ponies were starting to see us as traitors, and Daguva and I had no other choice but to let Star Swirl seal us away." "So you let him? Even though you'll never see him again?" Celestia concluded with sadness in her voice. "Yeah." The Sun Princess sighed before she turned her attention to Ponyville as the inhabitants reverted back to their normal selves. She closed her eyes before she opened them with resolve and determination. "Kuuga! N-Daguva-Zeba!" She bellowed in a firm voice, making the duo stand at attention, "For explaining your reasons of letting the Sirens escape 1500 years ago, I am changing your sentence from imprisonment to living in Canterlot with Sunset Shimmer as she continues to study the magic of friendship under the guidance of Princess Luna." Her expression immediately turned into a smile as she placed a hand on Kuuga's shoulder, "She really needs someone to keep her company and to make sure she doesn't overexert herself in her work. Do you accept these charges?" Kuuga's facial expression could not be seen, but it is pretty clear that the emotion going through his body is stupefied shock. Daguva's expression was just mild surprise as his eyes rose a bit. "I guess that will work," Daguva admitted, but his eyes narrowed a bit when he turned his attention to Kuuga, "However, Kuuga and I need to get our stuff back from The Cube of Infinite Storage. I think we dropped it in the dungeon after he blasted the wall out." "Actually, I still have it," Kuuga corrected as he slowly pulled out a medium sized box with the same symbol that was displayed on the Gurongi Tome. "Give me that!" Daguva snapped as he swiped the container, "You're lucky this thing has a preservation spell on it so it wouldn't break over time!" Just then, Sunset started to groan as she proceeded to stir more in her sleep. Celestia noticed this as she moved her into a more comfortable position as the brilliant amber mare returned to sleeping peacefully. "We can't stay out here much longer," Celestia stated, "Let's go to Canterlot Castle. I'm sure Twilight and her friends will understand what you went through once we explained it to them. You might have to explain it to my sister as well." Kuuga gulped nervously while Daguva rolled his eyes at the red warrior's reaction as Princess Celestia's magic enveloped them all as they were transported away to Canterlot Castle. > Chases and Introductions! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" That scream of pure horror echoed throughout Canterlot Castle as terrified Kuuga ran for his life as he was pursued by an angry Twilight Sparkle shooting magic blasts at him. You see, right after Celestia arrived with Kuuga and Daguva they came face-to-face with the Mane Six. When Twilight Sparkle saw the unconscious Sunset Shimmer, well... You could say she jumped to conclusions and proceeded to chase after Kuuga and Daguva with red-hot fury. "Come back here!" Twilight yelled as she grabbed a sword from a nearby soldier much to his surprise as he watched her threw it like a skilled javelin thrower, "You're going to pay for what you have done to Sunset Shimmer!" "GAH!" Kuuga yelped as he managed to catch the sword before tossing it away, "I already told you for the last ten minutes! I didn't knock her out!" "Like I'm going to believe that!" Twilight yelled as he threw another sword at him. This time the sword was caught by Daguva before he fling it to the wall! "Does she always gets this angry when there's family involved?" Daguva wondered. "Don't ask me! I'm not the one who likes to read lots of books displaying us as villains! How are we going to explain our reason why we let the Sirens escape when she is this mad?!" Kuuga yelled in annoyance. CLANG! "Oh come on! A frying pan?! Where the heck did this come from?!" Kuuga yelled in irritation as he held the mentioned object in this hands. Daguva tapped Kuuga's shoulder and gestured for him to look to his right. The red warrior turned his head and his eye lens widened comically when he saw, to his horror, Pinkie Pie running at the same speed he and Daguva are going. "Hey there! My name is Pinkamena Diane Pie, but you can call me Pinkie Pie for short! Sorry I smacked you in the head with a frying pan! I was busy making a special feast for a special party for you two and I thought-" Pinkie Pie rambled joyfully. "NOT HER!!!!" Kuuga screamed as he immediately tripled his running speed and left a dustcloud impression of himself and the frying pan in the process. "What's with him?" Pinkie Pie asked to Daguva in slight confusion. "Trust me, there are some things he can't stand and one of them is nonstop talking!" Daguva explained as he continued to avoid the blasts of magic from Twilight Sparkle. Pinkie could only stare at him in confusion with a question mark over her head before it turned into a light bulb when she realized something. "Hey! He still has my frying pan! I still need it for that special omelette!" Pinkie Pie noted as she quickly ran into the direction Kuuga went to retrieve her cooking utensil. Daguva could only raise an eyebrow as he watched Pinkie leave a dust cloud trail as he ran past him. "That is the strangest thing I've ever seen since my reawakening..." Daguva admitted before he ducked to avoid another sword thrown by Twilight, "Hopefully, Kuuga has better luck with Pinkie than me with her!" Sunset groaned as she woke up to a massive headache and she found out she is not in the castle dungeons anymore, but instead she is inside a bedroom filled with many cushions. "What?" She groaned as she pushed herself off the comfortable bed, "Where am I?" The doors opened as Applejack, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity walked into the bedroom with a tray of tea, cookies, and daffodil sandwiches. "Hey there Sunset! Glad you're finally up!" Applejack said as she gave Sunset a daffodil sandwich on a plate. "What happened?" Sunset inquired as she bit into her sandwich. "Princess Celestia teleported here with you in her arms completely sound asleep, and she brought along with the legendary Kuuga and N-Daguva-Zeba!" Rarity explained as she sipped from her cup of tea, "After that, Twilight suddenly turned flaming white and started to chase after them!" "Hah! Some warriors!" Rainbow Dash scoffed as she placed her hooves on a nearby cushion while she laced her fingers behind her neck, "Those guys look like they would fight a mouse rather than a lion! What are the chances of one of them barging in here?" Right after she finished her statement, Kuuga, still holding the frying pan, suddenly slammed through the doors before he closed them and started to nail wooden boards and fasten chains and a lock on them. He panted in exhaustion and fear as he leaned against the door. "Um... are you okay?" Fluttershy asked in a soft voice, but to a high strung Kuuga it was more like a trumpet playing through a bullhorn. "AAH!" Kuuga yelped as he leaped to the ceiling and clung on to it with his remaining hand quivering. "Whoa! What's tha big dea-" Applejack started to say, but Kuuga quickly covered her mouth as he gave the frying pan to Fluttershy. "SHH! Keep it down!" Kuuga whispered in terror. The sounds of hoofs clopping against the floor in a fast pace echoed outside as a shadow was seen through the space under the door. Kuuga tensed as he watched the shadow stopped for a moment before it dashed away. "Whew! She's gone!" Kuuga sighed with relief as he slumped against the wall. "Who is gone?" Sunset asked. "Pinkie Pie, I thought I never lose her!" "Why are you avoiding her?" Fluttershy asked. "I have a limited patience with long conversations unless it is something I like, but I don't think I can stand one second near her! She's a chatterbox hyped with sugar and coffee altogether!" Kuuga exclaimed as he rocked in a fetal position while he gripped his head in terror. The four mares could only stare at the red warrior with confusion. "Is there something you wanna' talk ta us about?" Applejack asked, hoping to change the subject. "Hmm? Oh right!" Kuuga quickly stood up as he brushed some dust off his armor before he bowed in front of them, "I believe we haven't been formally introduced. You may have already known me in the legends, but my name is Kuuga! What are your names young ladies?" Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash's cheeks gained a tinge of pink as they looked away for a moment, while Sunset twiddled her fingers a bit. "No!No!No!No!No! I didn't mean it like that! I was trying to be polite!" Kuuga explained as he waved his hands frantically. "Oh! Forgive us darling, we thought you were trying to charm us! My name is Rarity!" The white unicorn mare spoke as she did a curtsy with her slightly long blue skirt while her pearl shirt shimmered a bit. "Howdy, I'm Applejack," The cowpony spoke as he tilted her stetson as her overalls ruffled under her green shirt "My name's Fluttershy..." The yellow mare squeaked as she hid her hands behind her yellow blouse and pink skirt. "The name's Rainbow Dash," The cyan pegasus boasted as she flew around the room in her blue t-shirt and white cargo shorts, "I'm the fastest flyer in Ponyville!" "We may not have met officially, but my name is Sunset Shimmer," Sunset spoke as she got off the bed and walked over to Kuuga. "Pleasure," Kuuga greeted as he shook hands with Sunset, "By the way, who was that purple mare that was chasing me before I ran in here?" "That was Twilight, she's like a sister to me," Sunset smiled. Kuuga smiled at this comment, but his good mood was immediately shattered when the doors crashed open to reveal Twilight Sparkle with her purple blouse and blue jeans somehow charred, "Whoa! What happen to her?" "There's one thing I've learned in my reading, and it's to never cornered a wounded beast to a cannon room!" Twilight panted. "Did you say 'cannon room?'" Kuuga repeated uneasily as he cringed to the sound of cannons firing. "Yes why?" Twilight confirmed and asked in confusion. "Well, while Daguva tends to stay calm most of the time to gain control of his fire powers, but when he gets stressed out, that's when he loses control! Which can be a problem," Kuuga explained before he cringed at the sound of another cannon firing, "Excuse me for a moment." Kuuga gently took the frying pan from Fluttershy as he walked to the hallway and held it out. A pink blur in a pink hoodie and shorts shot by and stopped with the sound of screeching tires. "Yo Pinkie! What do you got in trade for this?" Kuuga offered. "Let's see..." Pinkie Pie started as she pulled out random items from her mane, "I got three packs of matches for birthday candles, a whisk, some cookies that are still fresh, and a fire extinguisher." "Perfect!" Kuuga cheered as he quickly swapped the fire extinguisher with the frying pan, "See you in a few minutes!" With a random 'Meep, Meep!' he dashed away to the source of the sounds of firing cannons. Five minutes later, he came back with an annoyed Daguva with some foam on his head. "Next time! Aim more carefully with that thing!" Daguva snapped as he wiped the foam off his head. "There were fireballs flying in that room!" Kuuga retorted as he handed the fire extinguisher back to Pinkie without looking. "Now come on! Let's go to the throne room so we can continue where we left off from the conversation before Twilight interrupted us!" "Then next time! Don't bring an unconscious mare with you during teleportation!" Daguva growled. "Her name is Sunset Shimmer just to let you know!" Kuuga butted heads with Daguva as he growled. Every pony in the bedroom watched the arguing duo walked down the hall to the throne room! "What is with those two?" Twilight asked confusingly as Sunset Shimmer walked beside her, "They are arguing like siblings." "There's probably a good chance they are," Sunset surmised. > Frustration! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- After Kuuga and Daguva finished their comical argument, every pony and person made their way to Princess Celestia's throne room. When they arrived there, Kuuga and Daguva, with Princess Celestia's help, explained their reason for letting the Sirens escape. "Okay wait!" Twilight spoke up as she raised her hands to confirm what she was hearing, "You let the Sirens escape because they were suffering from a magical backlash from the amulets, and you let Star Swirl the Bearded seal you away voluntarily?!" "Again, for the last time, all of it is true!" Kuuga groaned as he double facepalmed himself on the face in growing agitation, "Why is it so hard for you to believe me?!" "But the books about you said-" Twilight Sparkle's sentence was never finished as Kuuga let out a roar of impatience as his eyes glowed a bit more crimson and a slight miasma of darkness formed around him briefly, "Books, BOOKS, BOOKS!! Have you looked at anything else other than books!?" "Kuuga! Whoa! Easy!" Daguva attempted to placated him as he rubbed Kuuga's back as Kuuga's eyes went slowly back to their normal shade but the slightly fast panting was evident enough that he's still mad. "Kuuga, breathe... breathe!" Daguva ordered firmly, yet gently as he handed him a paper bag as the red rider inhaled and exhaled through it; however, Kuuga breathed a little too fast and his armor suddenly turned white as his horns shrank to his head while his eyes turned orange. His brief hyperventilation forced him into Growing Form! Needless to say, everypony was rather surprised at this sudden change! "Oghh!" Kuuga was about to faint to the floor if a red couch hadn't quickly caught him, "Thanks Rarity..." "Y-Y-You're welcome darling," Rarity stuttered. She didn't expected this to happen! Daguva groaned as he facepalmed, "Kuuga, you really need to calm down when you're stressed! Otherwise, this will keep happening!" "What happen to him? I've never seen this form before..." Celestia stated as she looked over Kuuga. "He's merely in his Growing Form." Daguva explained as he helped Kuuga get into a more comfortable position, "This sometimes happens when he gets really stressed or is injured to a critical level." "How long will he stay in that form?" Twilight asked. "2 hours," Daguva answered as he tightened one of his limiters on his wrists, "Until then, he can't change forms until he fully recovers." "Does he do anything to kill time? Like play board games or bake pies?" Pinkie asked as she hopped a bit. "Well, he-" Daguva was about to say something, but a sigh tainted in depression filled the room as Kuuga got up from the couch and walked out of the chambers. "Where is he going?" Fluttershy asked. Daguva didn't say anything, but instead he followed after Kuuga. Applejack stared after the leaving duo before speaking up, "Hey everypony, I think we should leave. It has gotten late and I need to head home to make sure Apple Bloom is in bed." "You have a point Applejack," Fluttershy followed, "I have to go home to feed the animals." "I have to check on Sweetie Belle!" Rarity continued. "Gotta' make sure the weather is all okay for tomorrow!" Rainbow pointed out. "I have to give Spike some medicine for his stomach because of those continuous letters," Twilight remembered. "And I need to bake a cake to accommodate for the party!" Pinkie shouted cheerfully. "But Pinkie, isn't it a little late for a party and didn't you just make a feast recently?" Sunset asked in confusion. "Don't be so super crazy silly Sunset!" Pinkie exclaimed, "That feast is for tomorrow! Why did you think I was making the omelette?" Kuuga's trek around the castle lasted until he found himself standing on the balcony. The nightly breeze blew around him as he reached behind his back and took out a three pointed star crystal gem. The sections of the gem are each differently colored in order: light gold, light violet, and light cerulean. He slightly fingered the silver chain that is connecting from behind the charm before placing it back where it was. "I thought I find you here," Daguva spoke up as he stood beside Kuuga, arms leaning against the railing, "Why did you leave the chambers so suddenly? Pinkie was just asking a question." "Daguva, we both had a rough day ever since that stupid chimera woke us up," Kuuga stated as he clenched his hands on the railing, "I just want it to be completely over!" "You miss the Sirens, don't you?" Daguva's question sounded more than a statement as he turned his gaze to the stars above them. "Yeah, I just don't know how they are doing right now..." Kuuga admitted his hidden grief as he laid his head on his arms, "Those three were the first friends we have made when we arrived in this dimension. They were so kind to us before they found those pendants!" Kuuga slammed a fist in anger causing the railing to crack a bit. "Those pendants made them suffer so much! I'm glad we managed to destroy them before they could break our friendship with us!" Kuuga sighed as his posture relaxed somewhat, "I don't know if they are still out there, or even if they remember us..." Daguva stared at Kuuga before he placed a clawed hand on his shoulder in pity. This action made Kuuga raise his head to Daguva in confusion. "We'll find them someday, you just need to have more hope," Daguva stated, "That day will come eventually." Kuuga stared at Daguva for a minute until he pushed himself off the railing, and shook Daguva's hand. "Yeah. We'll find them eventually." And then all of a sudden in a flash of light, a folder appeared right between the duo! White energy crackled around it as it floated into Kuuga's hands. "What is that?" Daguva asked as Kuuga opened the folder slightly to retrieve a note that was sticking out, but he quickly closed it when some of the notes ruffled a bit when the wind blew by. "We better go inside so the wind wouldn't carry the notes by accident," Kuuga suggeted as he kept his hands over the folder. To you who find this folder- If you are reading this, you are what I refer to as a Displaced. Some of us are being held here, in worlds not our own, by one known as The Merchant, a Void-Dweller of great power. If you can use these notes to find your way back to your relative home, I wish you the best of luck. Either because The Merchant is not to be trifled with, or because finding your relative Earth in all the Multiverse is like trying to find a grain of sand in a sandstorm. Personally, I do not desire to leave. True, abandoning my life on Earth seems cowardly. But the power I now wield confers a responsibility, one that I fulfill willingly. And life in Equestria is more likely to be peaceable than life on Earth. To those that want to return, I wish you the best of luck, and tell you that the best of results could be gathered by using something that you brought with you. To those that wish to remain, I tell you that these notes can easily be reversed and used to shield your home from intrusions. Most notably, Discord could find them useful. To those of you that wish to try to fight The Merchant, I tell you that he will likely not go down easy. Your best bet is to find the one known as Xante and team up with him. And to those of you that wish to drag us all back... Do not test me. -Auric Fulcrum, Master of Psynergy, Wielder of the Flames of Alchemy, Slayer of the Wise One, Knight of the Eclipse, Lord of Eureka, Blade of Understanding. "Displaced? That's quite an appropriate term for our situation..." Daguva noted. "Hmm... Discord as an ally? I don't know... He called my motif a dung beetle..." Kuuga muttered a little angrily. "He's the only chance we got with defending this dimension if there is a good chance enemies from other dimensions will attack," Daguva reminded. "GRR! Fine! But he needs to stay petrified for a while for causing a bit of chaos today!" Kuuga humphed as he crossed his arms. "You're just mad because he called you a dung beetle," Daguva pointed out. "He deserves it!" Daguva groaned as he pinched his nose in annoyance. "Look! How about we keep this event to ourselves for a while until we show the folder to Celestia! Agreed?" Daguva held out his hand. Kuuga looked at the hand and back at Daguva before groaning and shook his hand in agreement. "Agreed..." He spoke in a reluctant tone. They then walked back to the throne room to find it completely empty with the exceptions of Sunset and Celestia. "Where is everypony?" Kuuga asked in confusion while he discreetly handed the folder to Daguva. "They went home," Celestia answered, "As you should with Sunset Shimmer, since you are going to stay with her." "What? These two are going to stay at the Canterlot Library with me?" Sunset asked, "Why would you do that?" "Sunset... Do you remember that time when Applejack overworked herself without help and sleep for days?" Princess Celestia reminded. "But I can handle myself! I made a schedule!" Sunset exclaimed as she pulled out the item which Kuuga immediately took to see for himself while he used one hand to keep Sunset away. "Let's see... 7:30 AM, Wake up and shower; 8:20 AM, Eat breakfast; 9:15 AM, Organize books; 9:30, Double-check... Oh, For the love of-! Sunset, when do you have the time to relax! From what I could see on this thing, all I see is work and no play! No wonder Celestia wants us to stay with you!" Kuuga tossed the schedule to Daguva. "But I need that!" Sunset whined as she tried to retrieve it. "No, you don't!" Daguva stated as he tossed the schedule to Princess Celestia, "Let's go, we need to get some rest from the day we had!" Sunset could only moan in distress as Kuuga and Daguva took her by the arms. "Wait!" Princess Celestia called out as she used her magic to pull out a rolled up parchment, "Take this, it's a map of Canterlot. You might need it to get to the Canterlot Library." Daguva grabbed the parchment as it floated over to him and nodded as he and Kuuga continued to drag Sunset out of the castle, much to the unicorn's misfortune. > Sparring and Concussions! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was midnight and Kuuga, back to his normal Mighty Form, was gazing at the ceiling in his guest room as he continued to lie on his bed. He turned his head to see Daguva sleeping against the wall with a pillow supporting his neck while Sunset, in her yellow pajamas, was sleeping in the next room with a book in her arms. He sighed as he returned his attention to the ceiling as his thoughts keep returning back to the day when he and Daguva were first transported to Equestria. Back when he and his brother bought those belts. "I'm telling you Hikaru! It won't work!" 'Daguva' exclaimed in a combination of irritation and worry. "Oh come on Kage nii-san! Have a little faith in yourself!" 'Kuuga' encouraged as he slapped his back, "We can do this!" "But we don't have the belts! You know how important the belts are to the costumes!? They are the most crucial part!" Kage exclaimed. "Without them, these costumes are incomplete knock-offs of the real deal!" "Excuse me," A gruff, but calm voice spoke up. Kage and Hikaru turned their heads to find a Merchant dressed as N-Gamio-Zeda standing behind a booth with various items from other shows sitting all around him. "Are you going to argue all day, or are you going to buy something? I also couldn't help but overhear you are missing some accessories from your costumes." The Merchant reached behind the stand and pulled out two familiar objects: Kuuga's Arcle and N-Daguva-Zeba's Buckle, "Would these be them?" Hikaru and Kage blinked at this before they turned to each other and shrugged. They walked over to the booth and were about to take the items, but the Merchant pulled them out of their reach, "Ah, Ah! There is something you must buy first." "What is it?" Hikaru asked in annoyance as the Merchant, again, reached behind the counter and pulled out four black rings. "Your friend has to wear these around his wrists and ankles." The Merchant explained, "which brings the price to a total of 65 dollars and 45 cents." Hikaru gazed at him in suspicion, "Excuse me for a sec..." He quickly grabbed Kage by the arm and brought to him into a mini huddle three yards away from the booth and they started whisper to each other. Kage's whispers sounded like disagreements, but Hikaru were filled with suspicion yet at the same time intrigued. The Merchant scratched his head in confusion while he quickly hid a sudden moving Kivat the Third in a nearby drawer as angry muffles started to come out from it. After a moment of conversation, Hikaru and Kage came back to booth with the former carrying 70 dollars. "All right! Here! Consider the tip as thanks for the Limiter Rings," Hikaru stated. "Thank you," The Merchant took the money and placed it in his cash register and slammed his fist on the counter when it shook for a moment. "Why did you hit the table??" Kage asked in confusion as he was an inch away from putting on the buckle as Kuuga was doing the same with the Arcle. "It's just a wobbly desk!" The Merchant exclaimed as he shook the counter rather hard. Hikaru and Kage stared at the Merchant in confusion before they placed their belts around their waists as they suddenly erupt in a great flash of light. Kage was the first to pass out as a sudden pain erupted throughout his body and collapsed to the floor. Hikaru doubled over as he felt the belt sinking inside his stomach. As he was about to lose conscious, he watched as the Merchant laughed maliciously before everything went black. Kuuga groaned as he got up from the bed and stepped quietly to the floor. He gazed at Daguva for a moment before he left the room and exited through the door without making a sound. As he walked through the hallways of the Canterlot Library, he noticed the disorganized books on the tables and several of them are scattered on the floor. There were several turned over chairs and some were positioned on top of each other. "Sunset may get a nightmare if she has this much work to organize," Kuuga said as he picked up the books and proceeded to place them back in the proper places. Hours went by as the night gave way to the morning sun. The light drifted through the windows of Sunset's room and landed on the unicorn's face. Sunset grimaced as her eyes fluttered open and she moaned as she stretched her limbs from the restful sleep. "Another day, another morning to work in the library," she muttered as she changed back into her clothes. She walked out of her room and trekked down the hallway to the main room where the books are kept, but her eyes immediately snapped open when she saw the chamber completely cleaned of clutter and seems to sparkle with every object back in its proper position. Sunset gazed around the room in complete wonder with a smile on her face, but then she noticed a single note on a table next to a plate of two daffodil sandwiches. She picked up the note while she munched on her meal. Dear Sunset, I saw how messy the library was when I couldn't sleep last night. So I decided to spruce it up for you to spare the burden. Hope you like it! Sincerely, Kuuga P.S. If you are wondering where I am, Daguva and I went out to sharpen our skills in the Cube of Infinite Storage. If you want to see us, just press the symbol on the box. It's on the reception desk by the way. Sunset was already finished with her first sandwich as she finished reading the note. She picked up the other sandwich and walked to the gold tipped onyx container as the red symbol glowed softly on it. "How can two people fit inside such a small box?!" Sunset muttered in disbelief as she pressed the symbol while she finished off her sandwich. The box immediately flew off the desk as it enlarged itself to the size of an office booth as a split sliding door appeared on it. The doors ding as it opened up to reveal the interior of a elevator. "I guess that answered my question," Sunset spoke as she walked inside the doors as they closed behind her. There was much inside except for a panel on the wall showed many buttons with many labels on them. "I never thought the box could have so many rooms," she muttered as she turned around to admire the interior, "How did they enchant it to contain a separate dimension?" However, in her midst of curiosity, she accidentally pressed a button labeled 'Arena' and she was pressed against the floor as the elevator rocketed at the speed of a bullet! The pressure she was feeling was like being shot out of a cannon and into the sky! She thought she was going to pass out until the elevator immediately stopped causing her to hit her head on the ceiling. "OW!" Sunset groaned as she rubbed her head as the elevator dinged and the doors opened to reveal something that made her eyes widened in awe. She wasn't inside the Canterlot Library anymore, but she found herself inside a perfect replica of the great Romane Collesium in a dimension full of stars! "How-?!" Her question was quickly interrupted as a red blur rushed by her and collided with a white blur as sparks were sent flying every time they connect! Sunset shrieked as she dove out of the way and quickly climbed up the wall to the safety of the bleachers. Thirty Minutes Earlier A couple of screams were heard as Kuuga and Daguva fell out of the elevator when it literally spat them out, and they landed in the middle of the arena. "That elevator has no problems with letting guests walking out of it, but it had to spit us out!?" Kuuga growled as he dusted himself off. "After our spar, I suggest we should get that Loony Lift checked out," Daguva grumbled as he wiped the dirt off his torso. After the duo cleaned themselves off, they've walked off into opposite directions and turned to each other with fierce and determined expressions on their faces. Kuuga cracked his neck as he stretched his arms while Daguva flicked his wrists and took off his cape armor. "So that's what you look like without the back armor," Kuuga muttered as he did some knee stretches and pulled out a rod with hieroglyphics on it. "Says the guy who is going to get his butt whooped!" Daguva mocked as he pounded his fist into his palm. "Oh ho! It's on now! Chou Henshin!" Kuuga shouted as his armor turned silver with purple trims while his pauldrons grew a little bigger while his eye lens turned purple as he has changed into his Titan Form, and the rod he is holding changed into the Titan Sword. "I'm not going to go down easily! Let's see how you like my skills!" Daguva snapped his fingers and a katana of orange flames appeared in his hands as he grasped it and took a stance, "We'll see about that! Bring it on!" They immediately rushed at each other at high speeds and traded blows against each other. Kuuga attempted to catch Daguva off-guard with a thrust but the latter managed to parry it as he dodged it by leaping into the air! Daguva tried to catch his opponent off guard by going for the legs, but Kuuga blocked it while at the same time knocking his sword out of his hands. Kuuga chuckled as he raised his sword to Daguva's neck in apparent triumph. "Give up?" Kuuga asked. "Never!" Daguva defied as he kicked away the sword before leaping to the air. "So that how it's going to be huh? Chou-Henshin!" Kuuga's armor and eyes then turned into a solid blue and the shoulder pads shrank as two lines dropped from the neck to the waist as he changed into his Dragon Form, and the Titan Sword in his hand became the Dragon Rod. "Let's see how he likes this then!" Kuuga twirled his staff and leaped behind Daguva as he raised it and abruptly thwacked Daguva back to the ground and dived down with the Dragon Rod poised to strike like a spear. Daguva groaned as he got off the floor rubbing his head, but he noticed Kuuga's incoming attack and leaped out of the way as he stabbed the spot where he used to be as it exploded into a burst of flame! "Hey, watch it! Let's see how you like it when someone gives you a hard blow to the head!" Daguva growled as he rolled off his arm and his armored feet tensed as he bounded off the wall and threw a wicked haymaker at Kuuga's face. The impact caused the blue warrior to crash his head into the wall and his legs comically dropped to the floor in a heap. "Hah! What do you say to that, Beetle Man?" Daguva mocked. "Grgh! I resemble that remark!" Kuuga muffled as he managed to yank his head out with a visible tick mark, "But even though you are my brother, you shouldn't have called me Beetle Man!" Kuuga changed into his Mighty Form and charged at Daguva with blinding speeds as the white warrior did the same, and they started to traded blows in a major fistfight as sparks flew off their armor. The fistfight would have continued if a shriek hadn't stopped their fists from an inch from each others' faces. Now Kuuga and Daguva turned their heads and stared at the terrified Sunset Shimmer behind the walls. "Oh, hey Sunset! When did you get here?" Kuuga cheerfully as he bopped his brother one last time, and Daguva flicked his head in retaliation. "About a second ago," Sunset answered as she got down from the bleachers, "I was wondering how you were able fit an elevator that takes you to different areas inside a small box! Twilight would really freak out to find out how this works like she did with Pinkie Pie's Pinkie Sense!" "Pinkie Pie's Pinkie what now?" Kuuga asked as he gave Daguva his armor back who took it gently and put it back on, but immediately shook his head, "Never mind! Do you want to take this conversation back in the Canterlot Library?" "Sure," Sunset smiled as the trio head back into the elevator, "You know, this elevator has some serious speed." "We know, it also has a habit of spitting us out," Kuuga grumbled as he pressed a button labelled 'Entrance' as the doors closed and the elevator shot in a random direction, "Honestly! This thing has good manners with letting guests out, but it always, always spits us out every time we use it unless we are with a guest!" The elevator dinged as the doors open to reveal the Canterlot Library in its glory. Kuuga, Daguva, and Sunset Shimmer all walked out of the elevator before it shrunk down back to the Box of Infinite Storage. "How did you create such a device anyway?" Sunset inquired as she watched Daguva picked it up and put it away on himself, "For a object to contain separate dimensions, it must taken a lot of spells to create it without help from a mastered magician!" "We made it with Star Swirl the Bearded," Daguva bluntly stated as he grabbed a book titled Coin Designs and You and started to read through it, "He was kind enough to help us with our project as it only took only a year to complete." "A year!?" Sunset screamed, "But to design something this complex would take at least centuries!" "I admit we had some help from a certain white pegasus, she was just as giggly as your pink friend. She scared Kuuga once with her random pop-ups when we encountered her," Daguva chuckled as he put down the book and pulled out a one inch thick sheet of metal, two spray paint cans: one white and the other black, and two metal stampers, "Now, if you excuse me, I got something I need to do." Daguva clicked the symbol on the box again and walked into the elevator. It then shrank back to normal when the doors closed as soon as he entered it. "How long is he going to be in there?" Sunset asked. "For him, it is going to take an hour unless he does something that could affect the box entirely," Kuuga guessed as he watched the box up close but jumped back when it started to jerk and shake. Sunset and Kuuga watched in confusion as the box briefly turned red like it ate something spicy with steam coming out of it that is accompanied by a steam whistle. It then started to hop around the library and ricochet off the bookshelves with the sounds of a pinball machine following it. The duo watched as it then started to spin on a bookshelf before it revved up like a race car and zoomed across the floor leaving a tiny trail of flames spelling the words 'Surprise is the best!' followed by a flaming picture of a poofy maned pegasus mare. The flames were immediately extinguished as the cube rushed past them in a blur of speed. Kuuga quickly sidestepped as the cube almost tackled his foot while Sunset yelped as she jumped out of the way. The box immediately did a U-turn and soared into the air when it tripped over a stray pencil as it headed straight towards Kuuga. "Aw fiddlesti-" Kuuga's exclamation was never finished as the box beaned him and he slowly collapsed to the floor. The last thing he saw as his vision blurred was a worried Sunset calling his name. "Kuuga? Kuuga! Kuuga, wake up!" Sunset yelled as she shook the unconscious red rider with several of his insignias flying over his head. The cube slowly stopped as it grew back into its elevator form as Daguva walked out with soot all over his natural white body holding something in his hands. "Okay, Cough! Note to self: do not use the 'Surprise Fast' function on the smithing machine!" Daguva wheezed as he brushed some soot off his body, but he noticed his brother lying down on the floor, "Kuuga! Oh man! What happen to him?!" "When you went inside the box, it suddenly went crazy and struck Kuuga on the head!" Sunset explained as Kuuga groaned as he woke up. "No thanks, I don't want to pet the dragon! Please take me to the marshmallow merry-go-round!" He deliriously spoke before he fainted again. Daguva winced as he left the object in his hand on the reception's desk and went over his delirious brother and examined the visible head injury on his crest. "Oh, this is bad..." He muttered as he folded the box open and begins to rummage through it searching for something. "What is it? What's wrong?" Sunset asked frantically. "He suffered a minor concussion from that blow to his head and we need to treat it before it gets any worse. We should be able slow it down by applying a cold wet cloth to the injury until we get the right treatment. Luckily, I know how to make a fast acting healing paste from sea plants." Daguva stated as he pulled out items from the box, "Lets see: Seaweed, check; Algae, check; Sea cucumbers..." Daguva stopped and rummaged his hand through the box frantically before pulling it out and looked inside. He slowly lifted his head with complete dread in his eyes! "I'm out of sea cucumbers," He whispered in fear before he screamed in panic, "I'M OUT OF SEA CUCUMBERS!!" He quickly rummaged through the box and pulled out a black and gold jet ski with two wheels attached to the bottom before he closed it and started to carry the vehicle out of the library with great haste! "SorrySunset!Igotta'go!Bye!Bebackinanhour!" Daguva screamed as he jumped on the motorcycle/jet ski hybrid and pulled on a helmet and rode off in a blast of speed hoping to find the nearest ocean or sea-related store as soon as possible! Sunset Shimmer watched in bewilderment as Daguva rode away on the strange contraption before her expression turned to concern as Kuuga groaned in his sleep. She used her magic to carry him back to his room and placed him on his bed. She went to the bathroom and filled a bucket with ice cold water and brought it back to his bed room. Sunset soaked a small towel in the water and dabbed it on the injured spot on Kuuga's head as he relaxed in his sleep from the touch. "You're going to be okay Kuuga," She comforted in a soft voice as she repeated the process of applying the cold wet cloth, "You're going to be okay..." > Shopping and Reunions! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Come on! Come on! Come on!" Daguva frantically chanted as he rode throughout Canterlot, "I know I memorized that map! There should be a store that sells sea related merchandise! Whoa, WATCH OUT!" He did a sudden drift turn into an alley to avoid crashing into a fruit cart and knocked down a few trash cans and scared a black cat in the process. A newspaper slapped on to Daguva's face and that was the last straw for him as he immediately slammed on the brakes. The bike's tires screeched as they left skidmarks before the bike finally halted as it crashed into a dumpster flinging the rider out in the process. "AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!" Daguva screamed before he landed in a gigantic bag of garbage, spreading smelly debris everywhere in the alley! His head, completely covered in garbage, immediately came out and he shook it to reveal a face of great irritation. "Great! My brother is in need of medical attention." Daguva grunted as he pulled himself out of the heap, threw his helmet off, and pulled out a rotten onion from one of the horns of his crest. "My prototype Jet Ski Bike is trashed!" He stomped to the smoking remains of his vehicle. "And I completely reek of a combination of cabbages, onions, and garlic!" He roared as he kicked a stray tin can as it rocketed into the sky, "Can this day get any worse!?" GRRRRR!! Daguva froze and slowly turned around to find himself face to face with a pack of stray and angry dogs ranging from pitbulls to collies to bulldogs! The dogs growled angrily as they snapped their teeth at the unknown intruder while some of them crouched! "You have got to be kidding me!" Daguva exclaimed as he threw down his arms in exasperation and dashed away out of the ally with the dogs following him in pursuit. After 20 minutes of running (and suffered a few bites), Daguva found himself standing in front of a heavily-aquatic themed building with a neon sign displaying 'Sea Musical Harmony and Aqua Treats.' "This must be the place..." Daguva groaned as he pulled out a fang sticking out from his shoulder armor. He went up to the door and pushed it open as the bell above it jingled. He looked around the place to see it filled with sea-related merchandise. Daguva went to one of the shelves and picked up a seashell necklace to admire it for a moment before returning it to its proper place. He looked around and saw many sea-related items on other shelves ranging from shells to sea food to musical items. "I see seashell necklaces and conch shells, but I can't seem to find any sea cucumbers," Daguva noted. "Can I help you?" A sultry voice spoke up from behind him. "GAH!" Daguva yelped as he spun around to find someone in a orange coat standing behind him. The mare's face is completely covered by the hood making it difficult for him to identify the speaker. The mare in the coat seem to froze for a moment before relaxing somewhat as she held her hands behind her back nervously. "I-is there something I can do to help you?" The Mysterious Mare spoke hesitantly. Daguva raised an eyebrow at the sudden change of tone from the speaker, but decided not to question it, "Yes, Do you happen to have any sea cucumbers by any chance?" "Sea cucumbers? We've just recently received a new crate of them just now," The Mysterious Mare informed as two more mares wearing a light-purple and cerulean coat respectively came in carrying a huge crate. "Come on! Put some back bone into it!" The mare in the light-purple coat grunted as she walked backwards while Daguva and the Mysterious Mare stepped to the side. "I'm trying!" The other mare spoke with a hidden face full of strain as her knees buckled, "But I don't think I can hold on much longer!" Daguva immediately went to the mare's side of the box and managed to grab it when it was about to drop on her foot, "Here, let me get that for you!" The mare in the cerulean coat gasped as she watched both Daguva and her colleague carried the huge crate into the center of the room while she closed the door behind them. When they finished putting down the crate gently, the mare in the mulberry coat removed her hood as her aquamarine streaked purple twin-tailed hair flowed out as she wiped her face free of sweat with her light violet hand. Daguva gasped in recognition when he saw the mare's brilliant mulberry eyes widened in shock as her fish tail and wings unfurled from her coat. "Aria?!" Daguva gaped, "But then that must mean-!" The mysterious mare flapped her hood open to reveal a light brilliant gold face as a puffy two-fringe vivid orange ponytail with yellow streaks fell out with her tail and wings following. The mare's gamboge eyes welled up with tears of joy as she wiped them away at a lively pace. "Adagio?" He gently hugged her as she shook with great joy and relief before his eyes gain a glint of mischief, "Well I see two friends from Kuuga's and my past, but where is the third one?" The mare in cerulean coat tried her best not to snicker (and failed miserably) as Daguva pretended to ignore her as he walked behind her. "I know there are three members in the Dazzlings when my brother and I met them for the first time!" Daguva continued in his fake playful confusion. "There was Adagio..." He pointed to Adagio who only smile as she giggled along in his joke. "Aria..." He continued as he patted Aria's hair who smirked while keeping one eye closed in a playful pout. "...and Sonata." He finished as he pretended to look around the store as the snickering mare started to snort, "I wonder where could she be... Here she is!" Daguva suddenly pulled the hood off the light cerulean mare's face as her straight persain-blue striped artic blue ponytail waved about as he spun her around while she squealed with delight while her wings and tail waved in the air. "Daggy!" Sonata screamed as she hugged him in pure joy as Aria and Adagio joined in on the group hug, "We missed you!" "I missed you too! I'm sure Kuuga will be overjoyed once he sees you!" Daguva stated as he placed her down before clearing his throat, "You do have those sea cucumbers, right?" "Oh! Right! Right! Right! Here we go!" Aria exclaimed as she took out a crowbar and proceeded to pull out the top as it creaked open. Daguva took a whiff as the scent filled the room, "Ah! Just as I remembered it! I'll take 100 of those if you please!" Adagio went to the cash register and started to calculate the total price before a receipt came out and she took it out, "That will be 500 bits..." Daguva managed to pay the right amount before he yelped as he dodged three pairs of suitcases from squashing him. "...and three rooms in your Cube of Infinite Storage." She continued with a soft smile as she kissed him on the cheek, causing him to blush. "What? But? Isn't this your place?" Daguva asked in confusion as he watched the Sirens picked up their luggage and followed them as they walked out of the store while carrying the bag of 100 sea cucumbers. "It was," Aria explained as she locked the door while Sonata placed a 'Sold' Sign in front of it, "But we had to sell it because we were not getting much costumers due to our regrettable history. Only a few came every other day. Today was our last day." "Oh, I see," Daguva muttered as he shouldered the bag, "Come on, we need to go to the Canterlot Library! My brother really needs that medical paste!" "Oh no! What happened? What did you do this time?" Adagio groaned as she facepalmed. "Well... You see... Funny story..." Daguva hesitated as he fiddled with his unoccupied hand and backed up as the Sirens stepped forward with fire in their eyes. "Gotta'Go!" For the second time that day, Daguva ran for his life as he was pursued! "That really happened? The prototype Jet Ski Bike is beyond repair when the Sirens tried to blast you with sonic attack?" A now awake Kuuga asked for confirmation as Sonata continued to wrap the bandages around his head while Sunset did the same to Daguva. After they were tied correctly, Sunset went to her room to write a letter to Princess Luna while Sonata went back to the Cube of Infinite Storage. "Yeah," Daguva confirmed, "Sorry about that..." "Don't be sorry! I'm glad we are rid of that thing! I recently found a few bugs in it that caused it to accelerate too fast!" Kuuga claimed. "So you aren't mad?" Daguva asked. "Nope! In fact I'm glad you both trashed that bike and brought the Dazzlings here!" Kuuga exclaimed. "Now I can really get to work on my projects!" "It's a good thing we gave our reason for helping these three, otherwise Princess Celestia and Sunset wouldn't have let them stay with us!" Daguva pointed out. "You got that right brother!" Kuuga stated as he highfived him, "Although, what were you doing in that elevator that caused it to go crazy like that?" "I was working on this," Daguva said as he picked up a metal coin on the reception's desk. The coin is white on one side and the black on the other with the Kuuga symbol was printed black on the white side and the N-Daguva-Zeba symbol vice versa. "Interesting!" Kuuga noted as he flipped it in the air a bit before catching it, "What's it for?" "You know," Daguva whispered in a harsh tone. "Oh! Oh right! Gotcha'!" Kuuga snapped his fingers in remembrance, "Daguva, you remember our old phrase back when we first arrived here?" "Yeah," Daguva said as he placed his hand on his side of the coin while Kuuga did the same on his, "Are you ready?" Kuuga nodded as they held up the coin into the air as they spoke their oath: We are the Stag Beetles of Light and Darkness! We fight for the safety of our world! If there is ever a cry for help, We will answer in a whirl! The coin glowed with a grey light as it twirled into the air slowly before it copied itself and the copy started to spin rapidly and flew inside a cosmic hole as it closed behind it. "Do you think there maybe someone out there needs help?" Kuuga asked as he removed the bandages from his head. "What do you mean?" Daguva asked as he removed his as well. "There might be a Displaced who doesn't like to fight for a reason," Kuuga explained as he walked to a window and watched the sun go down, "But if they don't want to fight.... Who is going to protect their world? What if we were summoned by someone like that?" Daguva hummed as he tightened his Limiters, "If that time comes, we'll beat some sense into them!" Kuuga nodded as he pulled out the triangular star shaped gem keychain from last night and watched the stars started to twinkle in the sky. > Gouram and Shapeshifter! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "AH-CHOO!!" Kuuga's sneeze echoed in the dark basement filled with cloth covered objects as the Canterlot Library seemed to jump from its foundation before crashing back down, "Sunset! When was the last time you cleaned this place!?" Daguva coughed violently into one hand while he waved the scattered dust away. "I'm sorry!" Sunset spoke up as she too coughed from the dust, "It's been years since this basement was last cleaned! I don't get it why we have to clean it up today!" "Well for one thing! AH-CHOO!!" Kuuga sneezed yet again before he took out a red handheld vacuum and started to suck the dust inside it, "Princess Luna told you to get something from down here! When she mentioned something in her letter about a big stag beetle, she must have been talking about Gouram!" "Who's Gouram?" "He's my bike armor who has a mind of his own," Kuuga explained as he completely vacuumed all the dust in the basement before turning on the lights, "Unfortunately, I didn't have much time to store him in the Cube of Infinite Storage before Daguva and I were sealed away so I was forced to put him in a state of dormancy." "So you think he's under one of these sheets?" Daguva surmised as he pulled off a random cloth to reveal a pile of chairs positioned like a japanese rhino beetle. "Yep!" Kuuga stated as he looked under another sheet but he quickly covered it back up with a look of horror on his face as his armor turned completely white. "What's wrong?" Daguva asked as he reached for the cloth, but Kuuga frantically nailed it tightly to the floor, "Hey! What are you doing?!" "Don't look under there!" Kuuga ominously warned as he grabbed Daguva's shoulders, "You won't be able to unsee it! The Horror! THE HORROR!!!!!" Daguva raised an eyebrow in confusion as he was rapidly dragged away, but he was unaware that a glowing pair of red eyes are glaring at the duo through a hole in the cloth before it took out a pair of scissors and started to snip through the sheet slowly. After 30 minutes of searching, Sunset lifted a sheet and found a stone cube with a lid displaying Kuuga's symbol on it. "Guys! Over here! I think I found it!" Sunset called in excitement but her expression turned confused as she watched Daguva slowly walked over to her with Kuuga clutching on his foot, "What's wrong with him?" "He wouldn't tell me," Daguva growled as he shook his terrified brother off, "He's been like that since he nailed one of the sheets to the floor!" "Would one of those sheets happen to have a hole in it?" Daguva nodded in confirmation. "That's the sheet that covers a terrifying creature known as the Stone Chimera of Terror! He hates to have it uncovered when he is sleeping under it." "The what?" Daguva questioned before a growl was heard behind him, "It's right behind me, isn't it?" Daguva turned around to find a chimera statue wearing ghastly armor as its breath heaved through its bared sharp fangs while clawing the floor. The red ruby eyes shined with great rage as smoke seeped through its stone nostrils. "Oh... Hey..." Daguva squeaked as he waved pathetically as he pulled out a blue plastic bag of chips, "Would you consider taking a bag of hay chips as an apology for my brother disturbing your sleep?" The chimera statue growled as it swiped the bag before grumbling back to its sheet, sewed it back up, and went back to sleep. "Remind me not to disturb his sleep when we come back here to clean again!" Daguva whispered to Sunset as he hefted the stone box while Kuuga clutched onto it in fear and ran out of the basement. "Agreed!" Sunset fearfully stated as she rushed after her housemates. "Grgh! This lid is really stuck!" Kuuga grunted as he and Aria struggled to lift the lid off the container while Daguva, Sonata, Adagio, and Sunset watched their progress. After a minute of trying to heft the lid off, Kuuga and Aria stopped to take a breather. "What am I doing wrong? Did I forget to unlock it?" Kuuga wondered in confusion as he leaned against it. "Maybe we could grease it with butter?" Aria suggested. "Done that." "Pry it with a sturdy crowbar?" "Did that as well." While Aria suggested choices to open the box, Sonata walked over to the stone container and looked at it in curiosity and press her hand against the lid. She pushed it causing the lid to slide off and Kuuga yelped as he fell into the container. Aria watched in shock before she and Daguva glared at Sonata who smiled sheepishly. "Thanks Sonata!" Kuuga spoke as he pulled himself out before looking inside, "Hey Gouram! Up and at 'em!" After a minute of idleness, a black and gold metal stag beetle slowly flew out in a drunken manner as it wobbled a bit until it crashed back down in a heap. Its silver trimmed mandibles clicked drowsily as it struggled to keep its red eyes open while the beetle rubbed them with its front legs. "Hey there Gouram! Do you miss me?" Kuuga asked as he squatted in front of Gouram's face. Gouram looked at Kuuga for a moment to process who is standing in front of him until his eyes widened completely, and he tackled him and started to nuzzle against Kuuga's face affectionately while his mandibles clicked with happiness. "Ha! Ha! Ha! Okay! Okay! I'm glad to see you too!" Kuuga laughed as he push the stag beetle off of him gently, "Gouram, I would like to introduce to you some friends I've made." "You know my brother, Daguva." Kuuga gestured to the white warrior as he causally waved at the beetle. Gouram blinked in confusion when he saw Daguva's knees shaking in fear. "Here's Sunset, my housemate." Sunset placed her hand on Gouram and stroked his head gently while the beetle enjoyed the attention. "And finally! Put your legs together! Here are the redeemed Dazzlings!" Kuuga spoke off like he was a annoucer, "Adagio Dazzle, Aria Blaze, and Sonata Dusk!" The three Sirens bowed gracefully in response to the comment while Gouram chirped as he flew around in pure elatedness. "Yes, Yes. Gouram! I know you missed them as well! You must be excited from having a lot of energy within you! Do you want to burn some of it off for a ride?" Kuuga suggested as he pulled the BeatChaser out from the Cube of Infinte Storage before he got on the bike. "Come on!" Gouram chirped before he separated himself in half before they folded down and attached themselves to the front and back ends of the bike, turning the bike into the BeatGouram! "All right! Let's go!" Kuuga cheered as he revved up the bike while Sunset opened and widened the Canterlot Library doors with her magic, "YEE-HAW!!" With a massive burst of speed, the red warrior was out of the library. Daguva sighed as he watched his brother rode outside while he shook his head. A noise caught his attention and turned his head to see a metal badge with a grey hourglass shape sitting there on the floor. "What?" He wondered as he went over to pick it up gently and his eyes narrowed when he felt a small trace of Void energy around it, yet all he can hear is silence coming from the badge. "What's wrong Daggy?" Sonata asked as she came to his side. Daguva said nothing as he got up with an apparent frown on his face as he took the badge in his hands, and he walked to the Cube of Infinite Storage and entered through the elevator doors. "Whoo! That was a great ride! We should do this more often!" Kuuga stated as he pushed the back into the Library while Gouram tiredly, yet happily, flew back inside its stone container and fell asleep, "Huh, I guess he has grown used to that thing and made it his resting spot. Oh well! Better take this back to the Cube!" Kuuga whistled as he entered the elevator with the bike, but his mood turned into confusion when he saw one of the buttons labelled 'Laboratory' flashing on and off. He hummed as he pressed the flashing button. When one of the elevator's buttons flashes, that means Daguva wants to see him for something important. Kuuga remained silent as the elevator made it to its destination and opened it doors to let him through. "Thank you," Kuuga said as he walked into the laboratory with troubled unease, "That elevator didn't spit me out. Something must be wrong!" "You can say that again," Daguva agreed as he continued to type on the computer as a badge sat next to it with multiple wires connecting to a strange device. "What is that?" Kuuga asked as he gestured to the circular badge. "Remember how that folder said about Displaced?" Daguva reminded, "It turns out other Displaced can send out Tokens to summon other Displaced." "But we did that, remember?" Kuuga said as he placed his BeatChaser away, "What does this badge have to do with anything?" "This badge is a deactivated Token," Daguva explained as he pulled out a sheet of paper to look over the information, "And according to this... It has been deactivated for quite some time." "I don't get it," Kuuga said in confusion. "The creator had a reason for deactivating this token, but I can't figure it out since this thing nothing more than a dead paperweight!" Daguva growled as he slammed a hand on the desk in frustration causing it to crack. "What if we jumpstart it with our Token?" Kuuga suggested as he held out their summoning token. "Kuuga, I have yet to fully understand the possibilities of messing with other dimensional objects! I don't want to risk it!" Daguva spoke as he crossed his arms before he sighed, "It's not that I'm worry about. It's the creator of this Token that I'm worried for." "What do you mean?" "When I touched that Token, I felt a strange sense of annoyance, irritation, and... sadness." Daguva admitted as he touched the badge gently, "It's like the Displaced who made this doesn't have the will to fight, yet they protect their world from trouble." "So we're dealing with a pacifist?" Kuuga guessed. When Daguva nodded in response, Kuuga slammed his fist into his palm, "Then it's time we confront this guy and teach him a thing or two about compassion and helping others! If they don't want to fight, Fine! But they need to understand they must fight if they want to protect the people they care about!" "I still say this is a bad idea," Daguva muttered as he watched Kuuga connected their Token and the badge to stone stands that are standing next to each other, "Using our Token to jumpstart the badge? Do you know how insane that sounds?" "Not as insane on fighting an opponent who hates to fight!" Kuuga grumbled as he connected the last wire to the stands, "I'm not going to sit around and twiddle my thumbs, and watch a Displaced who doesn't like to fight just sitting in their dimension doing nothing to protect other dimensions!" "Maybe you are jumping to conclusions," Daguva stated bluntly. "What was that!?" Kuuga snapped as an aura of darkness appeared around him briefly. "I'm saying you are jumping to conclusions!" Daguva snapped as flames appeared from his hands, "We need to get the whole story from this guy if we want to find out why he doesn't want to fight!" Kuuga went still when he heard that and he lowered his head in shame. "Yeah, I guess you're right, but that doesn't mean I'm going to let him off with a slap of the wrist!" Kuuga pounded his fist again for emphasis. "I knew you're going to say that," Daguva said as the Tokens started to spin on the stands before sparks started to come out of them, "What's happening?!" "Look out!" Kuuga raised his arms to shield himself as Daguva did the same before they were consumed by the light. Kuuga and Daguva opened their eyes to find themselves standing on a stained glass platform depicting the badge's hourglass symbol, Kuuga's symbol, and Daguva's symbol in a triangular formation while ten silhouettes of strange creatures surrounded the frame of the platform. "What is this place?" Daguva muttered as he tapped one foot on the platform to test its structure. "I don't know, but it looks like one of those Stations of Awakening from Kingdom Hearts," Kuuga muttered as he stood on the circle containing his symbol, "I'm guessing when the Tokens shined, they somehow brought us here." "So we are in that Displaced's heart?" Daguva guessed, "Then why are our symbols are in here?" "We are merely intruders to his heart," Kuuga explained, "If this was our heart, it would have more of our aspects." "Then why are there ten silhouettes around the frame of the platform?" Daguva asked with unease. "Relax Daguva," Kuuga ordered calmly as he transformed into his Titan Form while sparks briefly formed around the Amadam, "We'll see the owner of this heart." "When?" "Soon, but I suggest we give him an alert that we are here," Kuuga took out his Titan Sword and tapped against the platform lightly while sending a brief spark of power, "The power I just surged into his heart will alert him that we are inside his mind, and he will subconsciously be brought here when he is unconscious." "How long do we have to wait for him to come?" Daguva asked as he snapped his fingers to conjure two flaming katanas. "We'll wait... He'll come eventually," Kuuga stated as he leaned against the Titan Sword. Ben groaned as he awoke with a massive headache, the last thing he remembered was laying down on the couch after a long day with Scootaloo. So why was he laying on a platform made out of stained glass that was showing the Omnitrix symbol and two others? "Hello Displaced," A voice spoke from behind him. Ben gasped and turned around to find two warriors standing behind him. One warrior was in purple and silver armor leaning against a sword while the other was a white monster wearing shoulder armor and black rings around his leg and forearm armor as he is grasping two flaming swords in his hands. "Who are you?" Ben asked in annoyance as he got up from the stained glass floor, "What do you want?" "We merely want answers to why would you deactivate your token," The purple warrior stated as he lifted his sword and shouldered it, "My name is Kamen Rider Kuuga, the Stag Beetle of Light." "...and I'm N-Daguva-Zeba, the Stag Beetle of Darkness." the white monster introduced while spreading his swords out. “And what is it exactly that you want?” Ben asked, crossing his arms with a raised brow. “I’m pretty sure this is a massive invasion of privacy.” “We merely want to know your reason for deactivating your Token,” Kuuga answered as sparks started to form around the jewel on his belt, “If you don’t answer, we might respond aggressively.” Ben actually started to chuckle a little. “Oh please, put your powers down, kid. I thought the simple deactivation was hint enough. Apparently not. It’s deactivated because I want nothing to do with your kind. Simple as that.” But to Ben’s slight surprise, Kuuga started to chuckle before it evolved into full blown laughter as Daguva looked at him with concern. “Ben… Ben… Ben.” Kuuga repeated as he pulled out another sword and the sparks started to become more apparent before his armor turned purple with gold trims and gold spikes encased the blades, “You really think you would give me such a simple minded answer from your mouth. Answer with your heart!” Kuuga charged at Ben with his twin swords and aimed to slash him. He simply sighed, stepping out of the way, Kuuga’s swords hitting nothing save for the ground where he had been standing. “Was that really necessary? I would rather not get my clothes singed… again. Rarity nearly killed me the last time it happened.” Kuuga panted before he looked ahead behind Ben as Daguva raised his arms in preparation for something. “Tell me Ben, have you heard of Axel’s fight with Roxas? How it started?” “Who and who?” Ben asked in return, looking confused. “What the heck kinda nonsense are you spoutin’, kid?” “The kind that will trap you in a wall of flames!!” Kuuga declared as Daguva raised his arms to summon a wall of fire around them. Ben looked around him, giving a whistle of appreciation. “Clever. But now what? We’re trapped in a ring of fire and you’re completely outmatched.” Kuuga somehow gained a tic-mark before he stabbed his swords to the floor causing cracks to form at their landing spots. “You are really hard to impress, you know that? Chou-Henshin!” Kuuga called out as his armor turned red. “Because I’m not going to be impressed by a bunch of kids trying to mug me in my own mind.” He crossed his arms, giving them a disapproving glare. “It’s quite rude, ya know.” “Mug? I prefer the term ‘test’ if you will.” Kuuga chuckled before he cracked his knuckles, “A test to see if you have what it takes to protect your world. You may not have much problems in your world other than any incidents- Wait! Did you say outmatched earlier?” “Well, duh,” Ben shrugged. “It’s not like either of you can beat me. As for problems in my world; One, you know nothing about my world. Two, you will never know anything about my world. And finally, get out of my world. Your a bunch of hooligans who don’t know what they’re doing and I will not let you continue your shenanigans in my world, let alone my own head.” Kuuga and Daguva stared at him for a moment before the ring of flames disappeared as they walked towards him. “Very well. If that is your answer, we’ll gladly accept it. But know this, if you start to face problems beyond your control, I suggest you should be careful who you are around with. Also, tell your friends to stop watching us. It’s kind of creepy. Look, if you hate the Displaced so much, then why do you keep their tokens?” “I don’t. I destroyed them all save for the only one that mattered: my sister’s. Another thing, I can’t tell them what to do as they are not under my control nor do they like me for that matter. And one more thing!” His glare darkened upon them. “Never assume you have any right to judge me. My decisions are based upon what I know about your kind: your nothing but incessant children given g** like powers and throwing tantrums every which way. You’ll all destroy yourselves in the end and I’ll be here, safe upon the world I help to keep that way. Do not think you hold any authority or power to judge someone simply because you don’t agree with their methods. It will only end badly for you.” Kuuga and Daguva sighed as they started to walk away. The latter was the first to disappear before the former turned to him. “Before I go, I must give you a small warning. Beware the coming darkness, beware yourself!” Kuuga momentarily turned black with spikes on his armor before he shifted back to his normal red form, “Your personalities are unique, but they sometimes can share one common goal and one common enemy!” Kuuga raised his fist into the air before crashing it down on the floor causing it to shatter in pieces! “We will come back to talk someday,” Kuuga stated, “I suggest you should be careful with your actions and words. We will return someday in the near future.” “And when you do,” Ben called back, “I’ll be ready to kick you right back out of my world, you cockroaches! Keep your worthless ideology to yourselves and leave me be!” “Ben…” Kuuga said in pity as he held a mirror out to him, “Have you looked inside your heart?” “Yes, I see a monster willing to keep other monsters from harming the only beings that would give him a chance. I gave humanity its chance and it stomped all over me, I won’t allow you to do the same to the ponies here. I can’t stop it everywhere, but at least I can keep you away from here. As I said, don’t assume you know anything about me or this world. It is not your position to judge how I choose my life. Go live your own away from me!” Kuuga seemed to tensed at that as he snapped his fingers and the platform reassembled itself quickly. “Kid, when you call me 'kid', it sounds like you are telling me I’m inexperienced with my powers!” Kuuga shouted as the platform shook, “That may be true, I also have a monster that is inside me that I won’t let out unless it’s a last resort! My final form carries a risk of going berserk! My brother also has to wear those Limiters to prevent his power from going out of control. We may not be in complete control of our powers, but we will eventually control them and the power of bonds and friendships will allow us to gain control over them!” Kuuga sighed as the platform started to settle down. “Look, I… Listen… A Token… It is more than a materialistic item. It’s a symbol of trust and friendship. When you destroy that item, you destroy that trust. Our token only appears in dimensions when they are ready to be accepted.” Kuuga explained, but he tensed when he saw a shadow creeping behind him and threw a right hook! Daguva staggered back as he held his right eye in pain, “Ow! Kuuga! Really!?” “Sorry!” Kuuga apologized before he sighed and turned to Ben with pity before he spoke with comfort to him, “Ben, whatever you are currently experiencing right now, don’t forget, your friends are your greatest strength.” “And how does that relate to me?” Ben asked, more than a little miffed at being talked down to by a couple of punks. “I rely on my friends all the time. Twilight, Nyx, my sisters (all three of them, actually), as well as many others. Are you saying that because they aren’t like me we can’t be friends? Because that seems to be what I’m hearing. Simply because I won’t make ‘nice’ with rotten humans, I need to feel bad about not helping other worlds. Well, newsflash, kids, your view of the world isn’t the only one, nor is it the correct one for me. This is exactly what I’m talking about with you Displaced. You all think you’re something special, well time to wise up! You’re nothing but a pair of dweebs that went to a convention and got stuck. But that wasn’t me!” Kuuga dismissed Daguva as he faded away back to his world and started to walk to Ben clenching his hands as darkness started to seep out from his body. Ben, however, continued his rant. “I lived every waking moment of my life simply trying to get by. I had to fend for myself, always on the run, always wondering if I was gonna live to the next day or get locked up again to be some jerk’s experiment. I’m not here to be a hero. I’m here to live!” The darkness was replaced with lightning as Kuuga appeared in a new form. His armor became gold and black and his crest became really long as his eyes remained red. “Let me tell you something about us kids,” Kuuga growled, “I may be an immature, overconfident, naive, stupid, crazy, irresponsible idiot, but that doesn’t mean I have my responsibilities! I suffered greatly before my brother and I were thrust into this world, but that suffering eventually turned to joy when we made friends with the Sirens and Celestia and Luna and Star Swirl the Bearded! I may have felt great pain when Daguva and I was forced to let him seal us.” Kuuga’s steps caused the platform to break apart again, but this time it became a hurricane of particles of memories. As images came up as he continued to walk towards Ben in controlled fury, the flames around his hands became more hot as they turned white. “I have felt great sorrow when the Sirens were influenced by the Gems!” The hurricane showed an image of Kuuga and Daguva crying tears of sorrow as they watched the Sirens fled into the sea when they were released from the Gem’s influence while Kuuga held the triangular star keychain in his hands. “I felt a lot of pain when Star Swirl was started to become treated like a traitor, and I couldn’t let him deal with that pain!” Kuuga loudly declared as the hurricane started to wind down as he started to walk slower, “I was so tired and sad from feeling everyone’s pain…” The hurricane slowly began to settle as Kuuga started to stagger and changed back into his Mighty Form, “I wanted to prevent as much pain as possible…” Kuuga was about to fall forward to the nonexistent floor if a hand hadn’t caught him in time. He looked behind him and saw Daguva shaking his head stating not to continue any further. Kuuga nodded before he turned to Ben with great sorrow and pity. “Please Ben, you protect your world your way, and I’ll protect mine in my own way.” Kuuga said as he and Daguva started to fade away, “Please protect… your… world…” Kuuga’s and Daguva’s forms faded away completely and all that was left was an empty circular locket as Kuuga’s voice spoke one last time. “Keep this… You’ll need it someday…” Ben stared down at the locket for a moment. “No,” he said, placing his foot on top of it. “I won’t.” He crunched the jewelry beneath his shoe, scattering the pieces away. “Stupid kids, bugging an old man with problems that aren’t his.” The remains of the locket swirled for a moment before they restored back to a normal locket before it managed to float and disappeared without a trace like it never existed before a voice spoke. “Is that your final answer?” The voice spoke with deadly seriousness as a familiar ring of fire surrounded Ben. “It’s my only answer,” he replied in the same tone. “It’s not my job to pick up your slack. If you fall, you were meant to fall. If you live, you were meant to live. It’s not my job to change that. Now stop trying to force others to live in a way that they shouldn’t. Go back to your own world and stay away from my home.” “Not before I have one spar with you,” Kuuga stated as he appeared in his Rising Ultimate Form wielding two gold and black swords with his eyes glowing red. “Let’s see what you got!” Kuuga twirled his swords before he suddenly froze and started to cough and wheeze as the flames disappeared. “What? What do you want, Understanding?” Kuuga asked to seemingly nothing before he froze as he started to ‘listen’ to the voice, “Very well, if you insist.” Kuuga got up and started to walk away from the dreamscape as he disappeared in a trail of light particles. Ben simply sighed, shaking his head. “Why do I always attract the crazies?” he asked himself. “I just wanna live my life in peace.” Kuuga walked out of the portal as he took the badge from the stone stand and went to a picture of Star Swirl the Bearded to reveal a safe and placed the badge inside it. “You’re not going to destroy it?” Daguva asked as he watch Kuuga resumed his Mighty Form. “No, even though Ben made his choice on living through his life, that doesn’t mean I give up on him,” Kuuga stated as he started to close the safe, “However, I’ll leave him alone. For now.” Suddenly, a water balloon came out of nowhere and splashed against his head. “On second thought,” Kuuga reached into the safe and crushed the badge in his hands before it sparked and fizzled out of existence, “Discord from Ben’s universe, I suggest you should be more careful with that water balloon.” “Then leave us alone, boyo,” a disembodied voice sounded out. “It’s very rude.” There was a loud ‘pop’ and the voice was gone. Kuuga chuckled before he laughed in a heartfelt manner. “You know, I kind of like that Ben. He actually taught me to leave certain Displaced alone! Ha Ha! Ben, I don’t know if you can hear me, but keep on doing the right thing.” Kuuga and Daguva walked to the elevator as it closed behind them to bring them back to the Canterlot Library. As the laboratory dimmed its lights, a spark was seen as a green and black cylinder appeared on the desk in a flash of light as energy crackled around it briefly. > Key! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kuuga stared at his pile of scrolls while he held an ink quill in his hand. Ever since his encounter with Ben, he has been doing pretty much nothing, but placed books in their proper positions and write late fee tickets. “Something wrong?” Daguva spoke up as he went to Kuuga’s side. “Nothing, it’s just that… I didn’t got a chance to fight another Displaced,” Kuuga admitted as he gently placed the papers away in a bin labeled ‘Out,’ “What’s the point of having these powers when there is no one to fight against in this peaceful world?” “Not everything is peaceful,” Daguva reminded, “We have to deal with that tyrant that is going to appear in the North.” “Yeah.” Suddenly a light begins to glow from the Cube of Infinite Storage as the symbol flashed in a rhythmic pattern. “What’s that?” Daguva inquired as Kuuga pressed the symbol to activate the elevator. “It’s something I made after that encounter with Ben,” Kuuga explained as he and Daguva entered the elevator, “When it senses a Token coming into our dimension, it will alert us of it.” “...That’s it? It would just alert us by flashing?” Daguva deadpanned. “Pretty much,” Kuuga stated as he walked out of the elevator and into the laboratory as Daguva facepalmed himself repeatedly. (James' world) "Man glad to be back huh Spike, Jex. That war really got on my nerves a bit. But still I think I need to see about what to do now. Maybe we can see what Chrysalis has got planned for her hive" said James before he felt that sensation again. "A summon? Well better get this done with maybe I can seal that world off from the heartless this time" said James as he felt Chrysalis in his mind after entering Valor form again as it always happens when he is summoned. Activating his keyblade rider he and Spike plus Jex flew into the hub station out of their world and went down the new stained glass path. (Kuuga's world) “What’s this token going to be?” Daguva asked as he watched the light surrounding the object over a stone stand as it started to disappear, “Will it be like that thing we found earlier this morning?” “That Unitrix Core? Daguva, I placed it in the safe so no one can get it. Relax,” Kuuga comforted as he rested a hand on him before turning to the light in curiosity, “I wonder what the token is going to be?” When the light vanished, the object was revealed to be a charm that was familiar to the brothers being a oval-shaped shape with a Chain at one end with a image of two crossed keys in the center. “Is that a-?” Daguva started with a little fear in his voice. “Kingdom Hearts 2 summoning charm?” Kuuga finished as he picked it up and looking it over as he placed a hand on his chin in a thinking gesture, “This one is activated. Maybe the Displaced who made this will be friendlier than Ben.” “Want to try it?” Daguva asked as he cracked his knuckles. “With pleasure,” Kuuga answered as he started to held out the charm, but Daguva grabbed his hand. “Wait!Wait!NO!NO!NO!Not here!” Daguva panicked as he took Kuuga to the elevator and pressed the ‘Arena’ button as the elevator shut its doors quickly as light seeped through the crack. While they waited they heard the message in the token play. "I am James Del Light key bearer of Equestria, if you ever need my aide for justice attach this to your weapon and thrust before you and turn it like a key and I shall come to your aide. If you have evil intent then fear my blade, if you have a just heart know that you have found a worthy ally and friend in me." “No!No!No!No!No!No!No!No! Not yet! NOT YET!” Daguva screamed until the elevator dinged and it quickly spat them out into the arena with great haste. Kuuga and Daguva did a midair somersault before landing in the arena’s floor just as the Token shone with a bright light! When it died down three figures in armor was standing before them but the center one froze at seeing them. "Kuuga and Daguva? Someone actually got Displaced as them? If I wasn't a Kamen Rider fan I would be getting freaked out right now" said the figure reverting out of the keyblade armor to reveal what looked like Sora from Kingdom Hearts in Valor form before that timed out and released Chrysalis from his mind. “Sora?” Kuuga spoke in confusion as he scratched his head. "Nah I'm James if you haven't noticed my eyes are different. Uh are you going to get out of that armor? From what I recall of watching the show you should be able to return to human form?" Said James as what looked to be Roxas and a teenaged Spike looked around confused. “I wish it was possible, but Grgh! this armor wouldn’t come off no matter how much I wanted it to disappear!” Kuuga explained as he tried to get the belt off as Daguva shooked his head in annoyance, “All I could do is shift between forms and I only turned into Growing Form when I fell asleep last night from confronting Ben! The Rising Ultimate Form took a lot from me.” James facepalmed. "From what I saw of the show of course you can't remove the belt it's fused to your body have you forgotten that fact? Maybe my keyblade can help you with the human form problem as it seems to be locked" said James. “No,” Daguva held out a hand in front of Kuuga protectively, “The form is locked because Kuuga may be subconsciously doing it.” "Ah that I can't help with, I'm no physiological expert. By the way, you may know Spike and Chrysalis but my nobody over here is Jexmas but call him Jex. To be honest, this is the third world I been to" said James as he looked around. “Third world?” Kuuga repeated as he transformed into Dragon Form while taking out the Dragon Rod and twirling it a bit. "I'm a bit new to the Displaced okay. The first one I met was Emerl the gyroid. The second was when I got dragged into a war of shadows helping a few more Displaced like a Venom from Spiderman, the Powerpuff Girls, and a couple versions of Pinkie. By the way, keep me away from face paint. Turns out if you keep a human form when Displaced, you keep your allergies. Nasty thing. Learned that the hard way. My face swelled and and the fumes kept me puking to the point they had trouble getting the stuff off before I choked," said James with a grimace. Kuuga and Daguva winced as they stepped back from a foot away before the latter asked something, “James, you said Jexmas is your Nobody. How did he came to being?” "Same time I met Emerl, I helped him fight a Super Chaos Emerald powered Discord and the guy used chaos magic to separate my heart from my body and turned me into a Heartless by accident. If it wasn't for a mystic charm I just got from that world's Sombra to help me control Anti Form I wouldn't be back to normal. The result was that my Nobody was created. We beat Discord and went home. Jex now guards the Tree of Harmony which turns out is sentient the one with Emerl has her own pony body and is relying more on Laughter then the other elements so she's random as heck. My Tree of Harmony is more on Loyalty than anything," said James. “Tree of Harmony?” Kuuga muttered as he shifted between Pegasus, Titan, Mighty, and Dragon Forms suddenly before they stopped on Ultimate Form, “Whoa! What happened?” "My guess is that your powers have a connection to the Elements of Harmony in some way. Did you know some past bearers?" asked James. Kuuga hummed in thought while Daguva took a thinking pose as he snapped his fingers idly while flames burst in random directions almost singeing Chrysalis who jumped behind James who used Reflect to prevent getting harmed. “Whoops! Sorry!” Daguva apologized as he tightened the black Limiters on his wrists and ankles, “I guess these things must have loosened from that stunt with the Loony Elevator.” "Surprise helped built this place didn't she?" asked James and Chrysalis with a deadpan on the words 'loony elevator'. “Yes, she was one of the past Elements of Harmony we have met,” Daguva explained, not noticing four figures exiting the elevator, but Kuuga and James noticed and tried to get him to stop talking with frantic motions with their arms, “Her name is Surprise and she was one of the Elements Kuuga fears due to her randomness, but we managed to cope with her until we finished this Cube of Infinite Storage. I kind of wish we got that folder sooner before she passed while we were sealed in the coffins, and we could have taken her to many dimensions.” A facepalm sounded and Daguva looked up to see both Kuuga and James backing away. "Well he's dead so care to explain about coffins to me and why you were in them?" He could hear James ask. Daguva raised an eyebrow in confusion before he heard a throat being cleared, and his form turned comically white as he slowly turned around to find Sunset, Adagio, Aria, and Sonata glaring at them with flames in their eyes. “What’s this about a folder?” Sunset asked as she cracked her knuckles while Adagio cracked her neck and sprayed breath freshener in her mouth. “Oh… Sunset, hey…” Daguva squeaked as he backed up, only to feel something metallic and looked behind himself to see Gouram buzzing angrily. "Sonata why don't you talk with our guests while we talk with Daguva and Kuuga?" asked Aria and the cerulean siren nodded as she walked to the guests. “Me!? What did I do?!” Kuuga exclaimed as Daguva scrammed behind him with growing fear. "Wait what folder are they talking about" asked Spike as he and Jex were sparing with their keyblades much to Sonata’s awe. “Arena!” Kuuga suddenly called out as the Arena flashed a bit in response, “Begin Loony Chase Protocol! Codenamed: Roadrunner Chase!” "Well time to put this on then. This should be funny," mused james before pulling out a boom box and played scooby doo chase music. The Arena started to rumble before it shined with a great light and when it settled down. The group found themselves in a vast desert that appears to be cartoonish for some reason. “What?” Sunset said as she examined her new attire of a Wile E Coyote costume in her colors while Adagio and Aria had theirs in their colors. Kuuga and Daguva, in black and white Roadrunner costumes, zipped by before making ‘Meep! Meep!’ as they dashed away! As the Scooby music played, the guests and Sonata laughed as the chase began. A dust cloud trail was seen as Kuuga and Daguva continued to run in their Roadrunner costumes until they suddenly stopped in midair with subtitles appearing below them. Kuuga (Lightus Stagium) Daguva (Bustus Beetle-anium) They then started to slowly pick up speed before they blasted off with great haste. The three mares pursuing them suddenly stopped in midair as well much to their confusion as subtitles appeared below them. Sunset Shimmer (Luna-sus Student-sus) Adagio Dazzle (Siren-sus Furious) Aria Blaze (Confuse-sus Star-sus) (In the stands) "Well this should be interesting wait wasn't gouram part of this as well?" Asked Chrysalis while the watchers ate popcorn. "He is, look up there" said Spike pointing up to the cartoonish beetle hovering in the air tracking the transformed rider and kaijin. (Gouram) Scanning for targets! Searching! Gouram spoke in his ancient language before he suddenly stopped midair as well much to his shock as his thrusters suddenly stopped working while subtitles appeared below him. Gouram (Machine in Trouble) The beetle’s mechanical eyes blinked before he dropped through the subtitles as they shattered into pieces as he fell right on top of Sunset, Adagio, and Aria with a hard clang! Gouram blinked the stars away from his head as he watched Kuuga and Daguva run up to them with grins on their faces! “If you want to know, you gotta’ catch us!” Kuuga taunted before he ‘Meep, Meep!’ and dashed away with Daguva following him. (Stands) "Ouch! Poor Team Saga," said James with a wince. "Team Saga?" Asked Sonata. "Sunset, Adagio, Gouram, and Aria take the first letter of their names and you get Saga" explained Jex snickering as he thought of another Kamen Rider with that name. (With Team Saga) “Okay, those guys are going to get it!” Sunset growled as she pulled out a sheet of blue paper and started to scribble on it! “Gouram! I want you to get a plate of ravioli and pasta and a table; Aria, I want you to find some flowers with a sweet smell; and Adagio, get a crate full of the most violent stag beetles you can carry that harmonize with ‘Flight of the Valkyries!’” Everyone nodded while Gouram clicked his mandibles in affirmation and dashed off unaware Kuuga and Daguva are hiding behind a rock overhearing the whole thing. “So that’s how they want to play huh?” Kuuga muttered as he took off his costume and Daguva did the same, “I say six can play that game!” (Stands) "Me thinks they be getting too far into their roles here" said Spike hearing the plan. "Why did I have you watch the loony tunes with that Sith Scootaloo during that war on days off" muttered James thinking of the pranks that was pulled by said pegasus that caused so much chaos from ideas taken from that show. (Back with the others) “Okay, everything should be ready!” Sunset declared, now out of her costume and in her regular clothes since it was roasting her, “Once Kuuga and Daguva stopped to eat their favorite meals on his table! They will tell us!” Sunset then started to cackle as lightning crashed above her, zapping an unfortunate James back at the stands. (Stands) "Okay time for a bit of a reality check this is getting ridiculous!" coughed James and as Chrysalis was right next to him she was also disgruntled by the sudden bug zapper effect that happened. So James with his Nocturne Keyblade used thunder on the group and to snap sunset back to her senses. (Sunset) Sunset blinked her eyes as her blackened body smoked from the sudden lightning before shaking out of it. “What happened?” Sunset said in confusion, “Did I go crazy just now?” “Yes you did,” A voice spoke up from behind her. Sunset turned around to see Kuuga and Daguva holding a crate labelled ‘ACME Army Bees and Wasps!’ with the former’s eyes glowing with mischief. “Do you want to give up?” Kuuga stated as he placed his hand over the latch. Sunset, as well as Aria, Adagio, and Gouram, gulped and nodded. “Very well!” Kuuga said before he turned to the crate, “Okay guys, fun’s over!” The wasps and bees groaned with disappointment as the box settled down. Kuuga chuckled before speaking out loud, “Arena, Deactivate Loony Chase Protocol!” The surroundings shifted as they returned to the normal arena battlegrounds. “So you got that folder on the night you moved in with me?” Sunset questioned. Suddenly a sound of a shower turning off was heard as a now soot free James and Chrysalis came in wanting to know about this folder as well. “Well,” Kuuga started as he pulled it out from behind him, “We are still looking over the notes, yet some of them are hard to understand. I was able to create those stone stands using these notes. I thought I would jumpstart a deactivated Token by using ours, but it had the unintended effect of bringing me and Daguva to Ben’s Station of Awakening.” "Wait what! Do you know how that could have gone wrong! By light eternal! You could have drawn the Heartless to his world! I still need to locate your world's keyhole so you don't get any trouble with the Heartless in the future! If I ever meet this Ben, I'm going to be sure to help him safeguard his world from the Heartless!" said James suddenly stern as he gave the two brothers a scary look making them remember that as a keyblade holder that there is one lesson you should always remember: Never make a keyblader mad or you will pay the consequences. James grabbed both brothers by the edge of their armor and tossed them to the arena summoning his two keyblades out of drive forms as his Keyblade Armor engaged. Kuuga, still in his Ultimate Form, quickly counterattacked by grabbing James by the arm and threw him to the floor. “Do you think I know that?!” Kuuga yelled as he got into James’ face, “Just to let you know, we only made it to his Station of Awakening! Not his world!” Kuuga got up gently from James and leaped backwards, “You don’t understand Ben! He hates the Displaced!” "I figured that out but if Ben has a station that means he has the potential to gain a keyblade himself! And you made him aware of what it looks like. You practically got him started on his own awakening! That will draw heartless to him and from what I hear he doesn't know anything about kingdom hearts! You practically threw him into a situation with no way to prepare. It took me three months when I got to equestria to even get mine. G** you need to learn not to mess with other displaced in their hearts or the consequences can be devastating! Why do you think I'm trying to seal each world I go to to prevent the Heartless from spreading to other Displaced. If you played Kingdom Hearts you know how bad it is if Heartless start showing up" said James sounding quite miffed. As he got more mad the two brothers noticed he started transforming into a dragon before long Spike walked in and sighed before strike raiding James on the head knocking him out. "What just happened?" asked Sunset. "A side effect we found out about when we learned James had a collapsed heart valve so I donated one as a replacement. It ended up giving him dragon DNA and a form matching it. He's still learning how to change at will. Let me guess you both messed with someone's heart? If there is one thing James won't tolerate it's someone messing with what they don't understand on a deep level. Matters of the heart is something James takes seriously as he knows the consequences of what can happen to a person" said Spike. "Because the Keyblade is tied to the heart James had to understand his own soul to even keep his being in balance. So he knows more about the heart then you two. If what I heard is true you almost pulled a Xehanort there. You directly interfered with a person's heart which can go wrong in so many ways. Once he calms down we can see about finding the keyhole of your world," said Jex shaking his head. "Trust me you don't want him ticked at you. He can give you a major lashing to help get a lesson through your head. Sombra in our world is literally a Heartless considering the powers he displayed at the crystal empire" said Chrysalis shuddering. "By the way our Twilight and the elements can have potential keyblades awoken. And Sunset you have the potential as well you just need to come to terms with yourself as a person" said Jex making sure James reverted to human. "I should know about that. I took on a stormrider on my own before I got the keyblade and it was when I understood why I was different from other dragons did I gain mine" said Spike making the rider wide eyed. "Dang, so Spike what do you do back in your world?" asked Daguva curious. "I’m the town blacksmith. I'm surprisingly good at it. Who do you think made the keyblade armors?" said Spike. “Wait!” Kuuga hold up his hands, “You made the Keyblade Armor!?” "Well Rarity helped with the designs, but yes I did. Dragons have many traits that work in the forging process. We're heat resistant and can generate our own flames which is useful in the job" explained Spike. “Ah ha!” Kuuga understood as he placed a finger in a thinking process, “I see. Look, I’m sorry for messing the boundaries of a person’s heart. I just wanted to know why would Ben deactivated his Token.” "Ugh good and Spike thanks but next time just use a blizzard spell to cool me off, now I got a headache" groaned James as he pushed himself up holding his head. Kuuga watched James get up from the floor before looking at the Keyblade and snapped his fingers as he changed into Rising Ultimate Form in a surge of power. “James, there might be a way to seal off the keyhole to Ben’s world,” Kuuga said. "What how?" Asked James as he didn't have Ben's token. “Have checked the back of your pants lately? There’s something on there,” Kuuga pointed to a badge hanging off James’ pants. "What the?! when did that get there?" said James taking it and it suddenly glowed as it levitated from his hand. "You have to be kidding me!" Said James recognizing this from the game. Holding out his keyblade a image of a crown formed around him. Wind kicked up as James found himself in a realm with a orange sky as the Token released a light that formed a keyhole above him. Spinning his blade around, he pointed it at the Keyhole. Streams of light converged on Nocturne and formed a orb of light at the tip before it let out a light that entered the keyhole and a click sounded as James found himself back to the arena. “I guess you finally locked the gateway to Ben’s world, Am I right?” Kuuga asked as he changed back to his Mighty Form. "Yeah, but still that was surprising, I still need to find the one for your world at least," said James before he felt his keyblade tug at his arm. "Though it seems my keyblade has a clue~!" said James getting dragged by said weapon. Kuuga and Daguva managed to grab the handle on the Keyblade to safely guide James only to also get dragged into the elevator with everyone else following as a button lit up. It said ‘Art Gallery’. “An art gallery?” Kuuga spoke in confusion before an Oathkeeper and Oblivion appeared out of nowhere. "My keyblades!" Said Jex. The group followed the blades to a painting of Surprise and her friends where they vanished to reveal the keyhole. "Well that explains a bit. Well, better seal this," said James until the keyhole put up a barrier. "Oh right the guardian of the keyhole! I knew I forgot something!" said Jex. “You think!?” Daguva screeched as he took off his cape armor while Kuuga got into a battle ready stance. The guardian turned out to be something only Surprise would make. A giant robot designed like Tirek. Yeah, no one knew why she built it. “Oh snap,” Kuuga gulped while James dropped his Keyblade out of shock and fear, “Why did it have to be the Magic Eater?” "Surprise, if I know her she likes to catch people off guard and this counts as a good thing as this thing is only a robot and not the real thing!" gulped James. Kuuga clenched his hand while Daguva tensed at the intensity of the machine. The brothers held out their hands to bring a barrage of flames, only for something astonishing happened as Bonds of Flame appeared in Daguva’s hand while the Two Becomes One appeared in Kuuga’s! "Chrysilas I think its time to test Anti!" said James. He would need the abilities of that form just to dodge, but then Kuuga and Daguva rushed past him and started to strike the robot’s joints on its legs with their recently gained Keyblades. "Well, better get in there." said Spike joining them. Jex also entered the fray. "Why is it two becomes one keeps appearing around us!" Asked Jex as he did so. “What do you mean, Jex?!” Kuuga asked as he dodged a stomp from Mecha Tirek. "It was the keyblade James and I first manifested. But as that belongs to the real Roxas we didn't feel right in using that particular keyblade!" answered Jex using a blizzard spell to create a wall of ice to block a fist. “Then why did it appeared to me and the Bonds of Flame appeared to Daguva!?” Kuuga demanded as he managed to slice off an arm from the robot. "My guess is that your armor's history from the show and the influence of the previous Kuuga before you allows you to wield it!" james said as he strike raided a leg. "And Daguva controls fire much like Axel and even acts like him a bit," said Jex with a shrug before doing a magnet and thunder spell combo. “I. Do. Not!” Daguva denied as he punctuated his sentence as he slashed three of the Centaur’s legs into pieces in a blur of fire. "Well you are protective of your brother much like Axel is protective of Roxas during their time in the organization," said James. “Well, I’m not cocky like him! And what makes you think, I act like the original Daguva!?” He emphasized by jumping through a hole in the robot and started to tear it apart from the inside as the robot made expressions like it was sick as multiple pounding sounds echoed from within it. "We said you act like Axel! Not the original Daguva! When did we ever compare you to that guy?!" said Jex joining him in there. "Our brothers seem to be getting along," noted James. “Aye,” Kuuga agreed as he watched the Mecha Tirek stumbled around for a moment as its head briefly popped out while it’s connected to the spring! The head briefly spun before it stopped as its eyes gained a dizzy emoticon. "Well time to teach this robot not to mess with the Irish! Oi Kuuga! Limit Time!" Called James with a grin. “Okay!” Kuuga agreed as he shifted into Ultimate Form and surrounded the robot in a pillar of flames as Jex and Daguva got out in time. "Let's go!" Said James as he zipped by in a flash, making after images in his wake slashing at various parts of the robot. “My turn!” Kuuga called out as he took out the Utimate Titan Sword with conjunction of the Two Becomes One and slashed a hole in the robot revealing the Power Core displaying a happy pegasus smiling gleefully. "Hah! Balance Sword!" Said James as a spectral Titan Sword formed in his hand as he threw both in a strike raid at the core landing next to Kuuga. “Well, that takes care of that,” Kuuga noted as he walked to the picture with Daguva walking with him. "Ah man! My Mecha Centaur!" Said a voice as a spirit phased out of the damaged core. Kuuga froze completely as they suddenly turned white and looked behind him to see the smiling ghostly pegasus waving at an inch of his face. “G- G- G-” Kuuga stuttered as his shaking hands slowly lifted the Keyblade to the Keyhole in sync with Daguva. "Surprise? Ah beast core..." said James shaking at the ghost. “GHOST!!!!!” Kuuga screamed as his keyblade let loose a stream of light as it ricochet off Gouram’s armor before it bounced from the ceiling and struck from Spike’s head before entering the Keyhole at the same time Daguva’s Keyblade let loose a stream of light into it. The keyhole glowed as a click was heard before it faded away. "Surprise, how is this possible?" James asked later as Sunset was keeping Kuuga calm. "It had to do with this," said Surprise pulling up a hand to show a black rimmed device that surrounded what looked like a eye. "A Ghost Eyecon! That means your the new Kamen Rider Ghost?" said James seeing the ghost driver manifested on her waist making her solid. “KAMEN RIDER GHOST!?!?!” Kuuga screeched as he backpedalled away frantically, “Not that! Anything but that!!!!” "Sorry guys but you’re stuck with her until she can find all fifteen eyecons. Just don't let her meet Pinkie because, well, Pinkie will be ecstatic to meet her ancestor," said James with a sigh. “James! Do you have any idea what kind of psychological damage those two will wrought on Ponyville, or worse, Equestria!?” Kuuga screamed as he shook James by the vest in a rapid pace until his armor turned into his Growing Form. "Yes I do, which is why you got to locate them before they get into the wrong hands. Also Kuuga, this is for the manhandling" said James giving Kuuga a roundhouse kick to the head. "Seriously calm the heck down" he added. Kuuga quickly got up as he clutched on to James ankle, “Please! Don’t leave me with her! I can’t take her randomness! One time, when I was going to bed in here, she popped out from under the bed and gave me a surprise birthday party!” Kuuga begged. "Yep sounds like Surprise and Pinkie. Listen, just have Luna help with her. She can see spirits last I checked" said James. “Did someone mentioned my name?” Princess Luna spoke as she came in, holding a bag of candy in her arms. "Luna don't give that candy to Surprise! Last time she had candy we couldn't handle the chaos she sowed!" said both James and Kuuga in unison as they glared at her. "Wait, that happened in your world as well?" asked Daguva. "She set rebuilding equestria back back by a month after we sealed Discord the first time!" said James with a twitch. “You think that’s scary! She made an exact replica of the setting at Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 in my bedroom! I couldn’t sleep for months!” Kuuga screamed. "She did it with all four on the whole building crew which included me and the princesses of my equestria" James revealed deadpan. “Ohh, Candy!” Surprised spoke up as she reached for a piece only to be tackled by Kuuga as he quickly wrapped her in chains and a straight jacket! "Kuuga.” said Jex. "What?!" Asked Kuuga. "That won't work bro. She's a ghost, remember?" sighed Daguva face palming. Sure enough she phased out and was now eating the candy much to James' horror! "Sorry Kuuga! But you’re on your own here! Here's some instructions on doing the spells from Kingdom Hearts and come by my world for a visit sometime!" said James panicking before handing Daguva a scroll. “Wait! You forgot our Token!” Kuuga stated as he tossed James a black and white coin. With that the group that James had vanished letting the charm hit the ground. On it was a note. "Next time summon me properly that way my token will still be there when I'm called- James Del Light" read Daguva. Kuuga picked up James’ summoning token before placing it in his pocket dimension and bravely turned to the vibrating Surprise as he took out the scroll and read from it. “Barrier!” A magical barrier surrounded Surprise just as she went crazy for a full five seconds until she suddenly stopped and fell asleep. “Is she okay?” Luna asked as she went over to Surprise in concern as Kuuga lowered the barrier. “She’ll be okay, her metabolism merely accelerated her sugar high to light speed for 5 seconds,” Kuuga explained as he watched Surprise snoozed away, “Just enough time for me to hold a one minute barrier due to my Growing Form. Any later, and it would have been chaos all over again!” “Good!” Luna said as she stroke Surprise gently, “But what is she doing here and why is there a metal centaur in here?” “Oh that!” Kuuga gulped as he watched Luna tower over him and nervously added, “Can you perhaps bring your sister over tomorrow so we can explain?” (James' world) "G*** I didn't want a repeat of Surprise in a sugar high. After last time I had nightmares for a week! I still wonder how she learned about the five nights at freddy's series?" shuddered James after sitting down. "At least it helped us wind down a bit after the war we went through," said Jex walking back to the Tree of Harmony where his house was. "Well, back to the forge!" said Spike. "You wanted to see how the new hive has been going right? Well let's go!" said Chrysalis leading James to the new hive. "Yeah, that should take my mind off Surprise!" agreed James as he followed her. "Just when will they realize they like each other..." thought Jex looking after them as he continued to walk. With that the day went somewhat normal as life went on. (End chapter) > Tagged! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The next morning, Princess Celestia found herself, Luna, Sunset, and a napping Gouram in her royal Conference Room as Kuuga stood before them while he held a pointer stick. "Okay, Luna, Celestia. This might take all day to explain everything so I want all of you to stay at attention as much as possible. That includes you Daguva!" Kuuga pointed out to his brother as the white warrior leaned against his shoulders in annoyance. "Grrr... I hate long conversations..." Daguva grumbled as he tapped a finger on the conference table. "Now, as I was saying..." Kuuga then started to calmly explain to Celestia and Luna on how he found the Folder while Daguva continued to tap his finger in annoyance. But the unexpected came in an unusual way... "Tag! You're it!" Surprise suddenly called out as the ghost suddenly poked Daguva on the crest before dashing off somewhere. "YOU!" Daguva was about to go after her, but a quick glare from Kuuga made him begrudgingly sit down. He grumbled as he slumped into his seat having to endure another long conversation. "As you can see from this display, it shows a variety of universes that are accessible to intrusions. So I tagged these universes vulnerable due to their weak dimensional walls!" Kuuga started to ramble while he used his pointer stick on some examples. Tagged. It. Those two words suddenly sparked an itch on Daguva's crest as he scratched it, only for it to get worse as the words continued to haunt his mind until his black eyes snapped open with white veins. "Daguva!" Kuuga called out, getting his brother's attention, "Something wrong?" "No! No! Nothing's wrong!" Daguva assured as he leaned against his seat, but when Kuuga turned his back, Daguva looked around for a potential victim. He has no choice! He has to tag somebody! "Eto... Eto... Eto..." Daguva muttered as his eyes searched for a target until he spotted Gouram snoozing away next to Sunset as she petted the metal stag beetle, "BINGO!" "What was that?" Kuuga questioned as he turned his head with growing annoyance. "Oh sorry! I was thinking we should play some Bingo after this meeting!" Daguva cheerfully lied as he folded his hands neatly with a way too cheerful expression in his eyes. "Hmm..." Kuuga slowly returned his attention to the board as he kept a suspicious eye on Daguva before he started to discuss about Discord's release in the near future for rehabilitation to protect their world from danger. Daguva's eyes turned steely as he glared at Gouram who flew to the chandelier for a quieter spot to nap. He snorted at this before he turned towards Sunset who was busy writing down notes from Kuuga's speech. Daguva invisibly grinned as he crept behind her and reached out his hand... only for it to be slapped away by Sunset as she glared at him before she smirked and silently pointed towards Kuuga. Daguva chuckled in a rare, brief moment of evil as he sunk below the conference table and crawled under it while Luna and Celestia watched with bemused expressions. When Daguva reached Kuuga, he raised his hand and reached out to... "Daguva!" Kuuga snapped in irritation, "What is it!?" Daguva froze as his eyes shifted before he came up with the oldest excuse in the book. "I need a bathroom break!" Daguva claimed before he rushed out of the room in a hurry as he slammed the door on the way out. Kuuga hummed in suspicion as he walked over to the door, opened it, and leaned out to see Daguva chasing after various servants as they ran away from him! He sighed before turning towards Sunset who only whistled innocently while Celestia and Luna looked away as they found the ceiling suddenly very interesting. "Ladies, what happened?" Kuuga growled as his belt sparked before he transformed into his Rising Mighty Form. "Surprise started a game of tag!" Sonata cheerfully exclaimed while she and her terrified sisters ran from an enraged Daguva as he demanded to let him tag them. "Tag? Really?" Kuuga deadpanned before he facepalmed, "Really, of all the immature-! Fine! I'll humor him and let him tag me so I can get back to the meeting!" "Hold still you little ponies! I just want to tag you!!" Daguva shouted as he chased after the servants before they all made it into the Royal Kitchen. "The Kitchen is a Safe Zone!" Surprise called out as she jumped in front of Daguva who stopped in front of the Kitchen in irritation. "GRRRRRRR!" Daguva growled and turned away from the kitchen only to bump into Kuuga as he stood in front of his brother with a disappointing aura around him. "Daguva, It is with great annoyance and irritation for the greater good of all Equestria, that I will allow you to tag me!" Kuuga stated as he stood tall awaiting for his brother to touch him. Daguva sighed with great relief, "Finally! Tag you're i-" He reached out to poke Kuuga, only for the red warrior to lean out of the way to the surprise of himself and Daguva. "Wha?" Kuuga asked in confusion as he struggled to stand up straight, but his body refused to move! Daguva raised an eyebrow and reached out to poke him again, only for Kuuga's body to keep moving out of the way much to the red warrior's discomfort. "Okay! This is getting uncomfortable!" Kuuga groaned as he was bending at an unnatural angle. He finally managed to stand up straight and turned his body 180 degrees away from Daguva, "Go ahead!" Daguva narrowed his eyes as he took out a billiard chalk and applied it to his right pointer finger and blew the excess chalk off as it gleamed in the daylight streaming through the window. "I got a bad feeling about this..." Daguva muttered to himself. He then quickly shot to his target intending to strike Kuuga and rid of the itch once and for all, but Kuuga quickly and frightfully jumped at the last second causing Daguva's finger to miss. "NOOO! I can't be tagged!" Kuuga screamed and ran off with great haste. Daguva's eyes briefly turned red as steam came out from where his ears used to be, "GET BACK HERE!" He then immediately rushed after him with the same rate of speed with the sound of a zooming racecar as his legs became a clockwise blur. "Where did that brother of mine went to?" Daguva grumbled as he slowly patrolled the halls as he passed a ponified medieval suit of armor. As he left the halls to check the Royal Bathrooms as he knocked on them first to make sure no one is in there, the armor lifted his hand and opened the helmet's visor to reveal a terrified Kuuga. "That was close..." He whispered as he slowly begins to remove the armor off him. "THERE YOU ARE!!!" Daguva roared as he suddenly burst out from the bathroom surrounded by his own flames to reflect his growing aggravation. "YEE-AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!" Kuuga did a Luigi and quickly ran away in a random direction, exiting the armor in the process as it floated in midair for a moment before crashing down. Daguva looked down at the armor for a moment and saw a strange symbol inside the armor. He reached out to examine it, but the armor suddenly got up and ran away from him with great haste. "What in the world?!" Daguva muttered as he rubbed his eyes before he did a double-take on the fleeing armor, "Okay! New target!" He cracked his neck as he winded up his arms and got into a runner ready position and sprinted after the armor! Kuuga panted as he leaned against the wall to catch his breath. "Why did Surprise, on the day of all days, started a game of tag?!" Kuuga wheezed until he heard a scream of pure horror as the clanking of metal armor echoed throughout the hall as it grew louder and louder like it was... "Excuse me! Coming Through!" A voice echoed from a fleeting suit of armor as it rushed past Kuuga making him spin like a top. "Do my eyes deceive me or did I saw a empty suit of armor running away?" Kuuga dizzily asked as he stumbled around before Daguva suddenly crashed into him and they tumbled on the floor before stopping at the conference room. Sunset stood at the front of the door with a mischievous smirk as the empty suit of armor came up and revealed itself to be a smiling Surprise! "What? Sunset? You were in on this as well?" Kuuga weakly glared in disbelief as he struggled to get a knocked out Daguva off his back. "Well, you were kind of boring us with your endless speech, so I asked Princess Celestia and Luna to use Surprise as a distraction so we can have the room to ourselves!" Sunset explained cheerfully, "They agreed because they just finished their royal duties, and they don't want to endure another 12 hours!" Kuuga only groaned in displeasure as Sunset and Surprise glanced at each other before they brofist in victory. "So, in conclusion to this... meeting..." Kuuga weakly spoke as he used the pointer stick like a cane as he struggled to stay up, "I suggest we should gain as many Displaced allies as possible and refortify our dimensional walls with Discord's help! That is if you don't mind princesses" Celestia hummed before she turned to Princess Luna as they talked to each other quietly in discussion before they returned their attention to Kuuga. "We'll think about it," Celestia answered while Princess Luna nodded in agreement. "Very well, Meeting Adjorned!" Kuuga called out. "YES! FINALLY!" Daguva cheered as he got up from his chair in excitement before poking Kuuga on the forehead quickly, "Tag! You're it!" Kuuga blinked as the Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and Sunset Shimmer teleported out of the room while Gouram flew out the window! His eyes immediately glowed before he was engulfed in darkness and lightning as he transformed into Rising Ultimate. "Game on!" Kuuga stated as he cracked his knuckles and proceeded to chase after the players as he laughed in a heartful tone. > Research and Apples! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kuuga, in his Mighty Form, tapped his ink quill idly as he continued to sit in the Laboratory of the Cube of Infinite Store while beakers bubbled their contents as they sat on their hotplates. So far, it has been a dull week for him as he and Daguva were stuck in the Canterlot Library doing nothing but their usual work of organizing books. It was driving him nuts! His eyes drifted to the safe containing the two Displaced Tokens. So far, he collected James' Summon Charm and a Mysterious Unitrix. He was tempted to summon the latter, but he decided against it as he shook his head. He needs something else to do other than summoning the Displaced! He doesn't want to have an event similar to his encounter with Ben! He groaned as he got up from his desk and went to pick up one of the beakers. Maybe some science would clear his head! He immediately transformed into his Rising Titan Form for protection as he held a eyedropper of blue liquid "Lets see... If I were to add some of this, what would happen?" Kuuga hummed as he applied some of the blue liquid to the beaker. KA-BOOM! The smoke cleared away to show a dazed, soot covered Kuuga as his purple eyes somehow blinked before he shook the soot off him and rubbed the now empty beaker clean with a rag. He then placed the eyedropper back in its proper flask as he turned off all the hotplates in the room. Kuuga sighed as he sat down back in his chair while he transformed back into his Mighty Form. "Come on Kuuga, think! What can you do when you are bored to death?" Kuuga muttered to himself before he took out Auric's Folder and opened it. Daguva hummed to himself as he continued to read a book as he continued to eat an apple from his hand as he sat on a bench in Ponyville Park. "It's so nice to come outside of the library every once in a while!" He chuckled as he read a page that contained a humorous scene depicting a monster turtle being grabbed by the tail by a heroic plumber! "Heh, if only that could happen here," Daguva commented as he threw away the apple core in a nearby trash bin with perfect accuracy before he wiped his hands with a napkin and threw it away as well. "Mr. Daguva?" a young voice spoke up from beside him. "Hmm?" Daguva turned his head to see a young yellow filly with a red bow in her red hair wearing a green shirt and blue shorts. She was just standing there gazing at him with a mixture of curiosity and caution. Daguva blinked as he tilted his head at the adorable filly before him as he watched her jump up onto the bench and sat beside him. "Kid, how did you know my name?" Daguva asked as he returned to his book. "My sister told me she met you after Discord was sealed away when she came home," the young filly explained as her head drifted to the ground sheepishly. "Does she know you're here?" Daguva asked as he turned a page in his book. "No," the filly answered as she twiddled her thumbs nervously. Daguva raised an eyebrow as he shut his book after bookmarking a page and put it away, "Kid, you know my name, but you still haven't told me yours. Can you please tell me?" The filly looked at Daguva with nervous eyes before she answered in a quiet voice, "It's Apple Bloom." "Apple Bloom?" Daguva muttered, "That name sounds just like..." "Apple Bloom!" A voice called out as a familiar orange pony walked up to the bench, "Come on, we have to go home! It's almost supper time! Oh! Daguva! What are you doing here?" "Hello Applejack, it's a pleasure to meet you again," Daguva greeted as he shook hands with Applejack. "Daguva, we haven't seen you since Princess Celestia introduced you and your brother ta me and mah friends. Where have you been?" Applejack questioned while Apple Bloom hid behind her sister shyly. "Sorry, my brother and I have been busy with some things," Daguva explained vaguely as he rubbed his arm nervously. Applejack stared at Daguva for a moment as she leaned towards him with a scrutinizing eye while the white warrior tries his best to remain calm as he leaned backwards. After about 5 seconds (an hour to Daguva's pressured state), Applejack stepped back. "Ah don't know what you have been doing this past month, but from the look from your eyes, ah can see you been through a very rough time," Applejack guessed before she smiled, "Why don't you come on over to my place for dinner? We're having homemade apple soup!" "Uh, thanks Applejack, but I'd rather..." Daguva was interrupted by the monstrous growl of his stomach and he placed his hands over it as he blushed. Apple Bloom giggled at seeing the legendary N-Daguva-Zeba being bashful while Applejack covered her mouth from laughing out loud. "Sure, I'll come to your place," Daguva answered as his face turned slightly pink from his blush. Kuuga took a wrench from his toolbox while he work on a generator hooked up to a purple-framed dark tinted glass as sparks briefly came through it for a moment, but they stopped when Kuuga connected a wire correctly. "Okay, that should do it! Let's see how the Dimensional Viewing Glass works!" Kuuga stated as he pressed a button on a remote. BOOM!! The Dimensional Viewing Glass exploded as glass flew throughout the Laboratory pinning Kuuga to a nearby wall into an uncomfortable position. "Okay..." Kuuga drawled as he carefully got himself free, "Maybe viewing dimensions isn't my thing." Taking a broom and dustpan, he quickly swept up all the pieces of the destroyed invention and remaining glass and threw it in the trash. "There! That should be all of the glass!" Kuuga stated as he walked away. POKE! "YEOW!" Kuuga hopped on one foot in pain before he sat back on his chair as he used some tweezers to pull out a piece of glass that got stuck on his foot, "Correction: most of the glass." Kuuga groaned as he tossed the fragment in the trash. "Maybe I should build a DNA and mental examination device to see what's causing me to be stuck in this form," Kuuga suggested as he begins to draw out plans. Daguva followed behind Applejack and Apple Bloom as they walked towards a farmhouse. The thought of meeting the rest of Applejack's family made his knees quiver a bit. "Maybe it won't be so bad," Daguva reassured himself as he watched Applejack knock on the door, "I'm sure she has a reasonable family!" The door opened to reveal an old wrinkly green mare wearing a rolled up cream colored long sleeve shirt and scarlet skirt. The old mare smiled at the sight of Applejack and Apple Bloom, but her eyes widened when she saw the nervously waving Daguva behind them. "Who are you, ya little youngster?!" the old mare snapped as she got close to Daguva's face, making him shake more as his knees collapsed to the ground. "Granny! Please! That's Daguva! Remember how I told you about him when I came home?" Applejack reminded as she pulled Granny away from the terrified kaijin. "Oh!" Granny blinked at the thought before she turned to Daguva in a kinder tone, "Forgive me, young man. I thought you were one of them minotaurs for a moment." "He's also here because we invited him for dinner!" Apple Bloom added. "That's wonderful news! Com' on little guy!" Granny Smith cheered as she picked up Daguva with sudden strength that made the Apple sisters watch in amazement, "You're are going to love my famous mouth-watering Granny Smith's Apple Soup!" "No... problem...!" Daguva choked as he was currently squeezed by the spunky mare in a rather strong hug. Kuuga continued to examine his device while he scratched his head in confusion. So far, he managed to build the mind reading machine without any trouble and/or interruptions, but his hopes were immediately dashed when he found a loose screw in the machine. He thought he tightened it earlier! "Where did I place that socket wrench?" He wondered as he moved his hand to look through his tool box unaware a strange creature was looking at him with a anxious eye. It floated by him, hoping not to get caught, as it held out the mentioned tool in its orange wispy hands, but Kuuga's foot knock the tool out of its hands when he bend over for a better reach. The tool flew into the air until it landed in the toolbox and Kuuga grabbed it without looking. "There we are!" Kuuga spoke as he tightened a bolts before closing the hatch, "Now, lets see if this thing works." Kuuga strapped the mindreading device to his head while he placed clamps on his legs and arms as he placed a petri dish containing a fragment of Daguva's armor before he threw the switch next to his seat. The machine hummed before multiple probing lasers charged with energy are immediately pointed at him while a simple scanning device hovered over the fragment of Daguva's armor as it gently scanned it. The probing devices on the other hand... "I have a bad feeling this is going to be painful," Kuuga gulped. BZZZZTT!! "AAHHHHH!!! THE AGONY! THE HORRIBLE AGONY! MAKE IT STOP! WHY DO I KEEP DOING THIS TO MYSELF WHEN I KNOW THESE THINGS KEEP HAPPENING TO ME!?!?!" Kuuga bellowed in excruciating pain. The ghostly figure winced as he covered his only eye while cringing at the screams of agony coming from the red rider before they finally stopped 10 seconds later as the machine powered down and the scanner stopped as it completed its scan. Kuuga groaned as a sheet of paper was printed next to him and he took it out when it finished. "Lets see, according these readings... Hmm... Ah ha... I see..." Kuuga muttered as he continued to read from the sheet of paper unaware the ghost managed to escape from the room in a hurry! BUURRRRRRP!!! "Excuse me," Daguva politely apologized as he wiped his mouth with a napkin while ten empty bowls sat before him. Apple Bloom and Applejack stared at him with amazed and surprised looks on their faces while Granny's expression was filled with amusement. "Whoo-Wee! I never heard anypony burp like that since Big Mac when he accidentally drank Pinkie's experimental diet soda!" Granny Smith commented as she wrote down Daguva's name on a clipboard labelled 'Loudest Burpers!' and placed it on the wall next to her. "Who's Big Mac?" Daguva asked. "He's Apple Bloom and Applejack's big brother! You'll know him when you see him!" Granny Smith explained as she reached to pick up the dishes only for Daguva to pick them up. "No! No! I'll clean these dishes for you!" Daguva volunteered as he carried the bowls to the kitchen sink with great gutso as he washed them before he used his flames to dry and sterilize the dishes. Applejack softly smiled as she watched Daguva cleaned the dishes. Despite his monstrous appearance, he has heart of gold underneath him just like his brother. They still care for everypony in Equestria and they want to do everything they could to protect them, even from the smallest of burdens. Applejack got up from her chair ,and she walked up to him and picked up the piling bowls and placed them in the cupboards as he continued to clean them. Kuuga has been staring at the sheet of paper for twenty minutes ever since he finished reading the results. The look of indifference could scare a pony at first glance if he hadn't comically facepalmed a moment later. "How could I have been so stupid?!" He shouted as he tossed the sheet away before he marched to his chair and immediately slumped into it, "How could I forget that the Amadam is powered by the user's will and that it extends the user's lifespan?! My brother's will and my own might have been so strong that it caused our forms to be locked into the forms of Kamen Rider Kuuga and N-Daguva-Zeba when we arrived in Equestria! It also explains why we haven't aged a year while we were sealed and why we haven't lost control every time we use a fraction of our true potential and why I didn't explode back in Ben's Station of Awaken when I activated Rising Ultimate out of rage! I thought I would lost control without my bonds, but it turns out I stayed in perfect control the whole time even though I used a fragment of that power!" Kuuga sighed as he covered his helmet with his hands before he muttered, "How am I going to explain this to James and my brother? More importantly, how am I going to send this bit of info to Ben when he might criticize me again? He might kick my butt like he said he would if I show my face again!" He groaned as he slumped even further in his seat while the Amadam on his belt glowed, "This has been a really bad day for me..." > Cards and Bullies! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- It has been two days and Kuuga continued to sit in his seat in depression as he idly tossed cards at a picture of Kamen Rider Gold Drive on the wall before he managed to struck the center with an Ace of Spades. He groaned as he leaned back and turned his head to stare at the safe containing the Displaced Tokens. "How am I going to tell James about this new piece of information?" Kuuga whispered as he summoned his Two Becomes One keyblade before he aimed it at the picture intending to blast it with a Blizzard spell he just recently learned; however, he decided against it and dismissed his keyblade when he had a thought that another Displaced might cosplay as Gold Drive, "It's not like I can just picked up his Token and send a telekinetic e-mail to his dimension." Kuuga paused in his muttering and suddenly got up from his chair and opened his safe to retrieve James' Summon Charm and started to put his thoughts into it. James, I'd just remembered something when I was performing a mental and DNA examination on myself and a piece of Daguva's armor. Do you remember how the Amadams are powered by the user's willpower and extended their lifespan? It turns out, due to our strong wills when we arrived in Equestria, that the Amadams inside Daguva and me have locked us in our forms permanently. They have also extended our life span when we were sealed away by Star Swirl. It also explains why I haven't lost control in my Ultimate and Rising Ultimate forms when I used the forms temporarily. Hope this information is clear enough for you to understand. - Kuuga The Summon Charm glowed as it send the mental message over to its creator. "Okay, that takes care of that," Kuuga stated as he placed the Token back in the safe before he closed it, "Now all that is left is for me to tell my brother, Sunset, Adagio, Aria, and Sonata about this information." "Tell us what?" A voice spoke from behind Kuuga causing him to turn around to find Sunset, Twilight, and Adagio standing them with a couple of bags in their hands. "Sunset! Twilight! Adagio! What are you doing here?" Kuuga asked as he got up and went over to them. "Well, we haven't heard from you ever since you went inside this place!" Adagio explained before she held out the bags, "so we brought you some food in case you were hungry!" "Me? Hungry? Please! When was the last time my stomach growled?" Kuuga asked in playful tone until his stomach disagreed with him by making its presence known, "On second thought..." Kuuga quickly swiped the bags of food from the smug Sunset, Twilight, and Adagio's hands and quickly ate through them. "Wow, I guess he was really hungry just like Daguva told us," Twilight stated as she watched Kuuga tore into some meat buns. "He really does care for his brother," Adagio added as Kuuga slurped some ramen noodles in one gulp. "But what was he going to say before we arrived in here?" Sunset said in confusion. Daguva could only stare in complete befuddlement at the sight of Pinkie baking something in the oven while wearing a SWAT uniform with a riot shield. "Pinkie, why are you wearing that when you are just baking a simple cake?" Daguva questioned while he set up a shield of flames just in case. "Because Daggy," Pinkie cheerfully, yet seriously, stated, "This isn't just a simple cake! It's a one of a kind Poker Cake!!" "A what?" "A Poker Cake!" Pinkie repeated as she stepped beside Daguva to give him more protection, "Unlike regular cakes when they puff up when they finish cooking, the reaction of a Poker Cake varies from the combination of ingredients! It can either explode into confetti, go crazy with a chainsaw, or play rock and roll music!" "Not helping with my opinion of the cake!" Daguva stated as he tensed when the oven dinged and whispered nervously, "Is it done?" "Yep! Brace yourself!" Pinkie cheerfully warned. The oven door opened slowly as a completely normal cake with multiple card symbols around its circumference slid out. It sat there silently as Pinkie walked up to it and picked it up with oven mitts and placed it on a wire rack to cool off. Daguva blinked as he lowered his flame shield and walked up to the cake to take a better look. "It didn't do anything...?" Daguva questioned as he reached out to poke it. The cake suddenly growled as it tried to bite Daguva's hand if he hadn't drawn it back quickly while Pinkie slammed a cage on top of it! "Okay! Make 'Acting like a angry dog' another reaction to the Poker Cake!" Daguva stated as he stepped back from the chocolate foaming layer cake, "How long will this last?" "Oh, until it cools off!" Pinkie answered cheerfully as she took some powdered sugar and started to sprinkle it on top of the crazy cake as it started to calm down before it settled down on the wire rack, "It is going to take about 5 minutes to cool off completely and when it does, it will be just a normal delicious scrumptious chocolate cake for tonight's Poker Party!" "Poker Party?" Daguva asked in confusion while he and the cake looked at her with question marks hovering over their heads. "Yeah! It's the perfect way for me and all of my friends to get along and socialize with each other!" Pinkie cheerfully stated as she tightly half-hugged Daguva, "You, Kuuga, Adagio, Sonata, and Aria spend too much time in that silly cube! You gotta come to this party! It will be fun!" "Well..." Daguva drawled as he shifted his head to the side. He would loved to come, however someone has watch Surprise while they are gone, but then he remembered Luna as she can see Surprise and knows how to deal with her, "Sure! We'll come! I just need to call Princess Luna to watch over someone in the Cube of Infinite Storage!" "But can Gouram do that?" Pinkie asked. "Sorry, he's busy patrolling the Everfree Forest to make sure none of the monsters try to sneak out," Daguva explained. "Huh, Okie doki!" Pinkie shrugged cheerfully as she dashed off to write off the invitations leaving a confused cake as it growled questioningly at Daguva. "To be honest, I'm not sure what is going on through that head of hers," Daguva answered as he watch Pinkie continued to write on multiple pieces of paper at a speed rivaling Rainbow Dash's, "Maybe my brother has a right to fear both her and Surprise!" "Wait! Are you saying Daguva's and your lifespan has been expanded by these Amadams?" Twilight asked as she examined Kuuga's Arcle while tapping the gem. "Please don't touch that," Kuuga said as he brushed Twilight's hand away from the belt. "Sorry," Twilight said sheepishly. "When you are going to tell the others about this?" Sunset asked. "I don't know," Kuuga admitted as he slurped some pasta, "It's going to take a social event to tell them all at once, maybe even a party for that matter..." "Did I hear somebody say 'party?'" Daguva said out loud as he entered the Laboratory as he held out five invitations in his hands, "You're in luck Kuuga! We are going to Pinkie's Poker Party at the Apple Family's Basement tonight at 7 o'clock PM!" "We're going to do what now?" Kuuga asked in surprise as he wiped his mouth guard with a napkin. "I can't believe I'm doing this," Kuuga muttered as he sat at a poker table that Pinkie managed to set up while he messed with his white bow tie around his neck. "Come on, Kuuga," Daguva whispered from Kuuga's left side, "This may be the only chance for you to tell all of them at once on what the Amadams did to us?" "Wait! You knew!? Who told you?!" Kuuga snapped as he grabbed Daguva by the black necktie. "Gak! Twilight told me, Sonata, and Aria while you were looking for a bow tie! She said we need to know more now than later!" Daguva choked as his face started to turn blue, "I'm not sure, but Pinkie seems to know as well! I didn't tell her! Honest! She just knows!" Kuuga glared at Twilight who was sitting across from him as she smiled sheepishly while wearing a star design embedded purple gown with fingerless dress gloves. He then stared at Applejack as she wore an orange dress with apple designs on it while still wearing her traditional stetson as she talked with a pearl dressed Rarity who was wearing a pearl necklace and feathery scarf. The timid light green dressed Fluttershy was also there sitting next to a grumbling Rainbow Dash who was dressed in a blue gown while a cyan dressed Sunset was shaking her head at Twilight. "Why do I have to come here?" Rainbow Dash muttered. "Please Rainbow Dash, this night is important for Kuuga and Daguva," Fluttershy reminded as she tried to calm down the irritated pegasus. Kuuga sighed as he released his hold on Daguva's neck tie, much to his relief as he straighten it out. "Kuugy?" Sonata spoke up from Kuuga's right, making him turn around to look at her as she was dressed in an aquamarine gown, "Are you okay?" "I'm alright Sonata," Kuuga said as he slumped on his shoulders, "It's just that it's a little sudden for me to be here while at the same time I have to make an announcement to everyone." "Come on Kuuga," Adagio, in her goldfish colored dress, spoke up from beside Sonata, "You can do it!" "Yeah!" Aria, in her coral pink dress, spoke as she got up from between Adagio and Rainbow Dash and went over to Kuuga, "I'm sure saying a few words is nothing to be scared of! Maybe you should make this announcement now before it's too late!" "Sigh Very well," Kuuga stated as he got up from the table and banged on it a few times, "Ladies! May I have your attention please!" Everypony in the room went quiet as they immediately sat still, waiting for what Kuuga has to say. "If you are all wondering why I brought you here, it's because I have an announcement to make!" Kuuga stated, "You see, when we were sealed away by Star Swirl the Bearded, the Amadams inside our belts reacted to our state of dormancy and activated their power to expand our life spans!" Everypony (with the exceptions of Sonata, Aria, Adagio, Twilight, Sunset, and Adagio) gasped at this sudden fact. "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Are you saying you are like the Princesses now!? Immortal?!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed. "Uh... guys..." Kuuga attempted to speak up. "Oh dear..." Fluttershy gasped softly as she held a hand over her mouth. "THIS IS. THE. WORST. POSSIBLE. THING. EVER!" Rarity cried out before she fell on her 'fainting couch,' "What is going to happen to my boutique if it closes down?" "Guys," Kuuga again spoke up in a louder tone. "Sweet applesauce!" Applejack spoke up in surprise, "This is gonna take some getting used to." TWEET!! "GUYS!" Kuuga bellowed in a strong voice after he whistled to get their attention before he continued his explanation in a more gentle tone, "I didn't say I'm immortal, I said the Amadams merely expanded my lifespan." "How can those weird stones do that?" Rainbow questioned as she leaned back in her chair. "These Amadams are powered by our will power," Kuuga explained as he gestured to the mentioned stone in his belt, "The stronger the user's will, the more power it will give them; however, if a weak willed user tries to use these, it would corrode them. We were able to control them thanks to Daguva's and my strong wills when we arrived here." "Huh, Interesting..." Rainbow Dash muttered, "One more question, how many of these so called 'Amadams' are there?" "Counting the ones Daguva and I have, I say we have three," Kuuga answered as he pulled out a deck of cards and started to shuffle through them. "Three?" Applejack asked with an eyebrow raised. "Gouram has one that acts like a stabilizer to ours. Originally it was supposed to stabilizes Kuuga's, but we found out it can stabilize mine as well," Daguva stated as he took the cards and cut them multiple times before strapping a rubber band around them and tossed them to Pinkie who was dressed in a pink card-dealer's outfit. "Ante up!" Pinkie called as she tossed the cards to the players with perfect pecision. "Now then, who's up for a one-turn game of five card draw?" Kuuga asked in a smug tone as he held his cards in one hand while he tossed a bag to the table, "Are any of you feeling lucky?" No one said anything except for three bags were thrown onto the center of the table by Adagio, Applejack, and, surprisingly, Daguva! "You bet we are!" Daguva smirked as the others got up so they can provide room for a fair play. "Saa... Card Time!" Kuuga smirked as he cracked his knuckles. It took about an hour, but Applejack was able to win the entire pot in a landslide with a Royal Straight Flush of Spades. "Hah! You fellas are 5 years too early for gambling against me!" Applejack mocked as she scooped the bags towards herself... and tossed one bag to Adagio, Daguva, and Kuuga, "Yet, you did a great job keeping your poker face straight! I admire that!" "Thanks," Kuuga said before he turned his bag over to reveal a bundle of snacks, "Just to let you know, you could have kept this bag of apple related snacks! I'm sure Apple Bloom would like these." "How did you know my sister's name?" Applejack asked. "One, I met her yesterday when I was out taking a walk and two, she's under the table with her friends," Kuuga stated as he slammed his fist on the table causing three yelps to sound off as three figures quickly crawled out. One of them revealed to be Apple Bloom, while the other fillies were a filly with light grey fur and a curly grayish mulberry mane and wearing a white skirt with a grey shirt. The other filly was orange with a purple mane and is wearing a purple jacket with blue shorts as she gazed nervously with her friends at the stern group before them. "Don't you know it's rude to eavesdrop on important conversations?" Kuuga chided as he crossed his arms. The trio of fillies hung their heads in shame as they started to walk out of the base if a pair of arms hadn't grabbed them just as they were about to step on the stairs. "Oh come on Kuuga!" Pinkie pouted as she mercilessly hugged the unfortunate trio, "Can't Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo just stay for the hour?" "No! They must head back home and think about what they- What's that on your shirt?" Kuuga stopped his statement as he noticed something sticking out of Sweetie Belle's pocket. It was a piece of paper with the words: Cutie Mark Crusaders, I dare you to go to the stag beetles' party at the Apple Acres basement. If you refuse this dare, you will be called a chicken for the rest of the year while wearing a chicken suit! HA HA HA HA! Sincerely, Rough Coal "Rough Coal? Who's that?" Kuuga asked as he sent a questioning gaze towards the trio as they looked away, "Kids, what's wrong?" "He's a big mean prankster who likes to play dares on our classmates after school," Sweetie Belle explained. "Every week, he picks random students to pull a dare on and sends them to do the crazy dares!" Scootaloo exclaimed, "They always take the blame while he gets away scotfree! He just dared Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon to wear dirty rags for two weeks after he took their tiara and glasses!" "Wait! Aren't Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon trouble makers for you three?" Daguva asked. "They were, but when they heard you were invited to my house for dinner. They immediately turned nice all of a sudden! That's when Rough Coal showed up and started these crazy dares!" Apple Bloom explained. "Rough Coal, huh?" Kuuga muttered, "Pinkie! Down periscope!" "Aye! Aye! Captain!" Pinkie spoke cheerfully as she lowered a periscope for Kuuga. Kuuga took the periscope by the handles and looked through its viewing ports. So far all he could see is crops, apple trees, and a trio of shapes near the entrance of the basement. He quickly stopped and turned a dial on the periscope to zoom in. The shapes revealed to be a duo of miserable fillies in rags as they watched a rather large unicorn colt holding two familiar items in his hands as he laughed rudely. "Ha! Ha! Ha! You rich dorks are bunch of babies!" Rough Coal laughed as the duo cried silent tears of agony and fury. "You bully! Give us back our stuff or you'll regret it!" Diamond Tiara yelled as she comforted Silver Spoon. "Hah! It's your fault for taking this dare! Once those stupid Crusaders are done with their dare, I'm going to dare them to call that stupid red stag beetle a dung beetle and get them to steal that flying machine of his! And then, I will be the greatest Evil Dare Master in the world!" Rough Coal laughed evilly as thunder suddenly clashed in the skies. "Oh, so that's how he's going to play huh?" Kuuga growled as a tickmark formed on his head while his hands clenched around the handles in anger as he flipped a plastic cover to reveal a red toggle switch, "Pinkie! Load the Bad Poker Cake!" "Aye! Aye! Captain!" Pinkie rushed off somewhere and immediately returned with a growling cake as it snapped against the bars in hopes of geting free. "Wait, I thought Pinkie told me that cake would turn to normal after it cool off after five minutes," Daguva reminded as he scratched his head in confusion, "It should have been a normal cake by now!" "Silly Daggy! That was the good cake! This is one of the bad ones I made earlier!" Pinkie cheerfully explained as she stuffed the rabid cake into a tube and closed the hatch. "Maybe I should be more careful with those questions..." Daguva muttered as he slumped in the corner of the basement while Sonata and Adagio tried to calm him down. "Aria! Begin countdown t-minus 10 seconds..." Kuuga whispered as a targeting scope appeared in the periscope while he took aim at the mean colt. "10, 9, 8..." Aria spoke as she and the others cringed while they stood back. "Is he always like this?" Rainbow Dash whispered to Daguva who could only covered his eyes in horror. "Only when he declares vengeance on the wicked who bully the weak!" Daguva whimpered, "This one is so far the craziest!" "7, 6, 5..." "What was the last one?" Fluttershy asked. "The last one involved a catapult, some honey cream pies, and a hive of angry bees! It wasn't pretty!" Daguva exclaimed in fear. Everypony in the basement gulped at the terrible thought. "4, 3, 2, 1..." Aria groaned as she and the others covered their ears. "FIRE!!" Kuuga screamed in a maniacal tone as he pressed the switch on the handle. The cake yelped as it was suddenly shot out of the tube through a drainage pipe as it soared through evening air and splatted against the rotten colt! The cake was shocked for a moment before it growled and started to attack the colt with the fury of a 1000 angry cats! "AAAAAHHHHHHH!!! GET IT OFF ME! GET IT OFF ME! MAKE IT STOP!" Rough Coal screamed as he dropped the glasses and tiara to the ground while he ran off screaming in pain. Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon watched as the yellow striped black mane dark grey colt ran off to get the crazy beast off him. "Who did that?" Diamond Tiara asked as she place her tiara back on her head. "I don't know, but whoever or whatever did this should be thanked by giving them a small reward for getting our stuff back!" Silver Spoon exclaimed. "Why don't you thank him yourself?" A voice suggested from behind Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon as they froze and turned around to see the legendary Stag Beetle of Light standing before them. "Kuuga!?" The duo screamed in disbelief. Kuuga chuckled as he helped Sonata clean off the last bit of branches off of the rich duo's manes while they sat in awkard silence as they were watched by the Cutie Mark Crusaders. "There we go!" Kuuga declared as he pulled the last twig off, "Now, before you go I want you and Silver Spoon to apologize to Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo for bullying them." "We're sorry," The duo spoke in a shameful tone. "And I want you three to apologize for sneaking in here at this time of night! You should no better than to accept that dare!" "We're sorry," The Cutie Mark Crusaders groaned. "Good, come on guys, I think we all had a pretty big night and we all need to get some sleep!" Kuuga declared, "Tomorrow, I'll make sure to report this to your teacher! This will put an end to that colt's reign of mean dares! After that, how about all of you take a tour with me to the Cube of Infinite Storage!" Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Diamond Tiara, and Silver Spoon gasped before they cheered really loudly as the former enemies hugged one another. "Really Kuuga?" Daguva whispered, "Giving them a tour? And why are you being nice to those two?" "I think the best way to deal with an enemy is to make them your friend," Kuuga stated before he was tackled hugged by the happy children. Sunset, Daguva, The Sirens, and The Mane Six sighed as a tired smile appeared on their faces while Kuuga laughed with the children as they forget the bad times of that night. Meanwhile back at the Cube of Infinite Storage, Princess Luna laughed as she watched Surprise performed a comedy routine by tap dancing and splatting herself with pies while accompanied with humorous jokes! > Fluffs and Pupas! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dried leaves in the Everfree Forest crunched as Daguva continued to walk with Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Silver Spoon, and Diamond Tiara, however they look rather traumatized as they shook with fear. After Daguva gave the group of fillies the tour of the Cube, they bumped into Surprise by accident. Introductions and explanations were made, promises were spoken, and the results.... "Remind me not to let Surprise go near that Musashi Eyecon!" Daguva whimpered, "I think my eyes need to be bleached three times 10 times infinity!" "Us too!" Apple Bloom quivered. "Why was that Ghost Eyecon in the Arena Snackbar!?" Scootaloo exclaimed before she shuddered as she turned slightly greenish orange, "I think that eyeball blinked at me!" "I didn't know she could use that sword in that kind of way!" Silver Spoon shrieked as she quivered, "I feel really bad for that training dummy!" "Tell me about it!" Diamond Tiara stated before she hurled into an empty brown paper bag, "What were those ghastly things?!" "Kids, I'm sorry you had to see that traumatizing hologram!" Daguva apologized as they walked up to a tree hut before he knocked on the door, "Hopefully Zecora might have something to deal with that!" As they waited for the door to open, Daguva suddenly got a strange sense of déjà vu when a brief image of a knight appeared in his head for a moment. "Why am I suddenly craving bananas?" Daguva muttered as the bushes behind the group rustled for a moment but he didn't noticed. The door creaked open to reveal a zebra wearing a brown tanktop, brown kahkis, and a necklace made from alligator teeth. She walked out to see who was knocking and her eyes widened for a moment before she stepped to the side to let the group inside her hut. "Zecora, I'm sorry to bother you right now!" Daguva apologized as he scooted the fillies inside, "These fillies saw something in the Cube that greatly disturbed them! Do you have anything that can calm them down?" Zecora went into a thinking pose before she walked off to a cupboard and started to rummage through it, "Sudden shocks and fears are hard to be cured, but I have something that will make the fillies feel more secured." She pulled her hands out to retrieve a large blanket and wrapped it around the terrified fillies. "This will be difficult to remedy, but it will go away with some aroma therapy," Zecora stated as he grounded some flowers into potpourri. "And to combat this dreadful woe, we should give them and you some hot cocoa." She then gave a cup to Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo who begin to guzzle it down their throats while Diamond and Silver drank theirs carefully. Daguva was about to sip his when a pink blur shot by and the delicious liquid in the mug was gone! "What?" Daguva gaped before he poured himself another cup, only for it to disappear as well! He narrowed his eyes as he pulled out a mousetrap and placed it in the empty cup before pouring himself another and pretended to drink... SNAP! "Ah HA! Gotcha'!" Daguva triumphed as he grabbed the scruff of a rather fluffy creature while she whimpered from the mousetrap induced pain, "What are you, you little, yet adorable creature?" "That, my friend, is a very rare Fluffly Pony, I thought the myths were pure baloney." Zecora explained as she walked over to remove the mousetrap from the creature's mouth. "Really? Then what is this one doing here- GAH!" Daguva started to ask, but the hand he was using to hold the Fluffly Pony suddenly sank into her fur with his entire body. The fillies shrieked with horror until Daguva was suddenly spat out on the floor with his eyes expressing a loopy, horror-filled daze as he got up and stumbled to the couch while blabbering incoherent noises. "Daguva, what's wrong?" Sweetie Belle asked as she shook his shoulder hoping, but he remained completely unresponsive. "Somebody get his brother Kuuga, before Daguva's mind will be stuck in a permanent samba," Zecora suggested. "Okay, what is going on with my brother and why is he mumbling nonsense?" Kuuga inquired as he waved a hand in front of Daguva's eyes and snapped his fingers, "He doesn't get scared like this unless he was subjected to something horrible beyond comprehension!" The Fluffly Pony made a brief razzberry in response. "ZIP IT YOU PILE OF FLUFF!" Kuuga snapped as he growled at her, "I don't know what you did to my brother, but unless you know something to snap him out of it, you are going to experience a shaving so bad you'll be shivering for a month!" Kuuga took Zecora's staff as it changed into Rising Dragon Rod as he transformed into his Rising Dragon Form and twirled it for a moment until a green glow suddenly enveloped it, halting its movement. "Hey! Who's doing that?" Kuuga growled as he turned around, only to find something standing behind him that made Zecora and the others stand back in shock. It was a black pony with a crooked glowing horn and insect wings wearing a tattered dress with holes in her hooves, "And you are?" "My name is Queen Chrysalis," The black pony stated as she used her magic to wrench away the staff away from Kuuga's hand as it transformed back to normal before it hovered to Zecora, "and I highly suggest you shouldn't attack my housemate! Even if she is covered with more fur than usual and has a couple of items stuck in it." "Wait, Queen Chrysalis?" Kuuga perked at that statement, "That name rings a bell... Aren't you the Changeling Queen that feeds on love with the rest of your hive? It's been years since I've last seen you." "Yes... Indeed it has," Chrysalis noted as she dug her hand in the Fluffy Pony's fur before pulling it out to retrieve a electronic tablet. "What's that?" Kuuga asked. "It's a device some peculiar white pegasus gave me when I was walking around in this forest earlier this morning," Chrysalis explained, "I'm not sure what it does but Fluffle Puff seems to enjoy it as she played on it for hours!" "What game was she playing on?" Kuuga asked as he took the tablet from Chrysalis's hands and started to look through it, but then Fluffle Puff swiped it away and hugged it towards her light pink fluffy coat and jeans. Kuuga raised an eyebrow in confusion and tried to reach for it again, but a familiar white hand grabbed his hand. Kuuga turned around to see Daguva has snapped to his senses looking more horrified than ever! "Don't look in there if you value your mind!" Daguva warned. Kuuga stared at him for a moment before he slowly retracted his hand away from Fluffle Puff. "Okay," Kuuga simply stated knowing when his brother warns him like that he should listen to him. Kuuga cleared his throat and turned to Fluffle Puff, "Fuffle Puff, I am sorry for snapping at you earlier and I hope you forgive me for doing that. It's just I was worried about my brother, which I'm sure you will be worried for Chrysalis or any other family members you might have. Come to think of it... do you have any siblings?" Fluffle Puff blew a simple razzberry and just nodded. "Really? You're just going to answer like that?" Kuuga asked to be sure. Fluffle Puff nodded and licked Kuuga's face much to the rider's discomfort as he gently took a hankerchief offered by Zecora and wiped the slobber off him. "Does Fluffle Puff always communicate like this and does she ever talk at all?" Daguva asked Chrysalis calmly as he watched Fluffle Puff mess around with the tablet for a moment before she placed it back inside her fur, "How much stuff is inside her?" "She carries pretty much everything," Chrysalis answered amusingly with a smile on her face before it turned serious as she whispered to Daguva quietly, "I found them." "Them?" Daguva repeated in the same quiet tone, "You mean the-" "Yes, they started to act up when you awakened with your brother," Chrysalis explained as she pulled out two gems colored white and black respectively as they glowed gently in the setting sun outside. Daguva took the gems from Chrysalis's hands as Kuuga walked up to Daguva's side while the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Diamond Tiara, and Silver Spoon were being escorted by Zecora back to their homes. "So," Kuuga stated as he examined the gem, "I guess this is one of the signs the Crystal Empire will come back in the near future." "Signs?" Chrysalis asked questioningly while Fluffle Puff stood next to her with a curious gaze. "There are two to be precised," Kuuga explained as he pulled a chalkboard out of nowhere and drew two objects on it. Each of them being a pair of gems and a couple being wedded, "The first will be when the gems of Light and Darkness will start to glow and the second will be a couple being wedded in Canterlot. After that, it will be an uncertain amount of time before the empire rises from its slumber." "And we have to deal with him, right?" Daguva stated as he punched his hands together in anticipation. "Relax," Kuuga said as he gently placed a hand on Daguva's shoulder, "Twilight and her friends will know what to do when that time comes, however we must prepare for what might come during Sombra's awakening. There's a good chance his darkness might awaken something in the Badlands!" "What is it?" Chrysalis asked as she clasped her hands in anxiety. "It is a being of darkness revived and summoned by a wizard from fragments of Daguva's and my power from which we have defeated long ago," Kuuga gravely explained as he looked out the window as he spoke three words with graveness, "Go-Gadoru-Ba!" "Who is Go-Gadoru-Ba?" Chrysalis asked. "He's..." Kuuga started to explain, but then he and Daguva heard a familiar voice in their heads. Kuuga! I need some help! Bring Daguva and Surprise! We need back-up here! "Oh James, really?" Kuuga groaned as he facepalmed before he quickly dashed into the Cube of Infinite Storage and brought out Surprise with him who, for some reason, is covered in crumbs! "Come on! Let's go! Chrysalis! We'll be back! Just need to take care of something!" With that said and done Kuuga (who was carrying Surprise by the coat) and Daguva vanished in a flash of light and darkness respectively leaving behind a confused Zecora, Chrysalis, and Fuffle Puff! Meanwhile in the Badlands, a coffin bearing a mark of a kabuto beetle within the caves shook a little before settling down after a second. > Twins! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I cursed under my breath at the situation we found ourselves into. When we went to search the town after breakfast it seemed heartless had managed to arrive in this world and their designs fit this world. They resembled costumed minions normally seen in tokusatsu shows and there was way too many for the fifteen of us to fight. As we were surrounded I gave a quick look around finding we were all back to back with those of us that can't use weapons or magic in the center of our circle. I explained what heartless were to the power ponies during breakfast and now carried a digital monster bestiary of the kingdom hearts Enemies and it doubled as a scanner. I quickly scanned them. Shadow Soldiers Type - Humanoid These Heartless were born from the darkness of vengeance and will serve recurring evils to their dying breath. Alone, they’re not much, but in a group, they are deadly with teamwork. A whole army can take down a whole town in a minute. That was not good news. We needed back up and luckily I knew just the trio to help. I pulled out the token I got from Kuuga's world and took a breath. "Kuuga! I need some help! Bring Daguva and Surprise! We need back-up here!" I said and flipped it into the air. The coin flipped through the air as it spinned for a moment before a flash of light and an aura of darkness came out of the two sides of the coin. Kuuga came out of the light holding on to a excited Surprise’s hand while Daguva flew out from the darkness as they both slid to a stop. The coin hovered for a moment as it gently landed in my hand while Kuuga looked rather annoyed for some reason. “This had better be good!” Kuuga growled as he flinged Surprise up in the air, “I was about to explain to Zecora, Chrysalis, and (I can’t believe I’m saying this…) Fluffle Puff about something important! Do you know how tiring it is for me to carry Surprise when she was about to eat a 100 foot tall sandwich!? She even traumatized the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Diamond Tiara, and Silver Spoon with those dreadful holograms and the Musashi Eyecon! So what is it?! A group of Twenty Heartless?! THIRTY?!?” "Try three thousand!" I snapped as I pointed around us. Kuuga tensed and looked around himself as the Shadows growled in confusion to each other. “Daguva, do you remember that scene from Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 version?” Kuuga asked. “The one where-?” Daguva started to ask but he quickly dodged a Shadow’s attack to the face before kicking it in the stomach. “Yes! That one!” Kuuga clarified as he noogied one Shadow before tossing it into a crowd of them as bowling pins crashed in the background. Surprise made her entrance by crashing headfirst on a Shadow that tried to sneak up on Daguva as it fainted with Heartless Emblems flying around its head. "Oi Surprise! You see that button on your driver! Press it!" I shouted as I used Nocturne to defend Fluttershy while the rest of our group fought. Kuuga and Daguva tensed as they quickly dived behind an overturned car for cover as they covered their ears with earmuffs! Surprise looked confused as the Shadow Soldiers phased through her making my group look shocked as she did so making the driver open up on a hinge. "Now press the left side of that Eyecon and place it in the driver!" I further instructed but was interrupted by thrown apple by Kuuga who looked really panicked! “James! You have to understand something about Surprise! She already knows how to transform into that rider!” Kuuga screamed. "You mean she got some experience as a rider already?" I yelled back as I unleashed my classic magnet thunder combo spell. “You don’t understand James!” Daguva shouted in horror as his hands spasmed in fear, “She also found that Musashi Eyecon in our Snack Bar in the Cube of Infinite Storage! She teared apart those holograms of Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 like they were papers and weeds! That experience also scared the Cutie Mark Crusaders!! Not to mention Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon who Kuuga managed to reform as he saved them from a bully!” "Well as she is now she won't do much damage against these Heartless! So we need Ghost to even turn the tide! There is too many here. And even with the power ponies my group besides Spike don't have keyblades yet!" I retorted wondering where the source of the heartless was as I used reflect. Kuuga slapped his hand on his face before he and Daguva calmly walked out of their hiding place as they turned to the army. “James, you might want to look away, this might get nasty!” Kuuga growled as he cracked his neck with discomforting noises much to my wincing. Daguva reached for his Limiters while Surprise took out a red Eyecon! Heading his advice I closed my eyes and motioned everyone else to look away. Agonizing screams followed after many slashes came while explosions followed a few sickening cracks before silences finally came! Opening my eyes I saw the two riders and alternate boss monster and I was amused to see Surprise kept her feminine figure as Kamen Rider Ghost. "Thanks, I almost forgot how much power you have" I said panting. Everyone around me also panted in my group. "Now we need to find the source of these comic book themed Heartless. I'm not liking how many there were and those were Pureblood Heartless not Emblems with how many there were I got a good look," I said concerned. “Actually,” Kuuga stated as he pulled out the same Shadow Soldier who was knocked out by Surprise earlier, “We have a POW to interrogate! I need yours and Pinkie’s help on this one.” "Won't work. Outside of Ansem the Seeker of Darkness, no Heartless has ever displayed the ability to talk" I said having played the games a lot. “Actually, have you thought that they talk in their own language?” Kuuga asked as he squeezed the Shadow’s head tightly. "You mean that noise a Shadow makes when it moves? Might be possible. At the very least" I said and just in case I transformed to my full black and silver dragon form to deter the Heartless from escaping. Kuuga quickly tied the Shadow to a chair and shined a lamp on it. “All right buddy!” Kuuga growled as he leaned in front of the Heartless’s face, “Who is behind these attacks? What is your mission?” The Shadow growled in discontent as it turned its head away in defiance. “Tough guy huh?” Kuuga noted before he snapped his fingers as Daguva handed him a picture, “Well, let’s see if you can handle this!” Kuuga showed the Shadow the picture as it immediately turned white in horror before Daguva burned the picture into ash. “What was that picture?” Spike asked as the Heartless slowly made some clattering noises and pointed to a random direction. “Oh, something every Heartless fears the most,” Kuuga stated as he picked up the Heartless and threw it in another random direction, “A picture of the scariest character of Five Nights at Freddy’s Four!” "Nightmare? Yeah I don't blame them. That one is even more scary than them" I said shuddering as I returned to normal. Kuuga chuckled as he transformed into Rising Ultimate while Daguva took off all the Limiters off his wrists and ankles and placed them on his belt as rain suddenly started to pour from above! “By the way James, have you received my message earlier?” Kuuga asked as thunder clashed. "Yeah I did which means you have to be careful not to become a Heartless I don't think the multiverse would survive your Nobodies" I said with a wince. “Actually, what if it did happen? But not in this timeline?” Kuuga asked as he took out the Two Becomes One and Rising Ultimate Titan Sword while Daguva took out his Bonds of Flame and Flaming Katana. "Heaven help us all then. So you got any info on what brought the Heartless here" I asked entering my Keyblade Armor as I motioned everyone to follow. “I did and it’s not pretty…” Kuuga stated as his hands clenched around his weapons Daguva and Surprise stared at the fortress before as lightning clash behind it while a combination of the Heartless Emblem, Kuuga’s symbol, and Daguva’s symbol glowed on it. "Dang that is creepy" I said as the eighteen of us looked at the building. Kuuga could only stare at the doors leading to the inside of the castle before he sighed and suddenly send out a couple of Sword Beams at them before they collapsed to the ground. "Well let's get this over with. Everyone willing to fight come on, and everyone else act as medics you’re in charge of restoratives good thing there was a moogle on our way" I said. “Raise your hand to take charge in the assault!” Daguva called out. The only ones who didn't raise their hands or hooves were Fluttershy, Humdrum, and Zapp. "From what I saw about your own armor my powers won't help in this situation" sighed Zapp as they gave her questioning looks. Daguva raised an eyebrow and looked up and snapped his fingers as a lightning bolt suddenly shocked Kuuga as his skeleton was briefly seen before it stopped as he coughed before he shook the soot off him. "I meant inside I can only use small electricity indoors as my powers are weather based. I would be better in a fight in open air. The most I can do is annoy the enemy in this situation," said Zapp in clarification. Kuuga turned to Zapp in concern before he gently placed a hand on her head. “Zapp,” Kuuga spoke as she looked at him in confusion, “Just go to a sheltered place until we need you. You might have weather powers, but you might catch a cold unless you have your amulet activated.” "Don't worry I can still fly and give you these potions and ethers if needed. I can do that at least!" said Zapp with a grin. Daguva chuckled at this scene before he turned to Fluttershy, “And you?” "She's more medic then fighter Daguva. Her day job is involving animals and taking care of them. She's the most knowledgeable on medicine of my group," I said as she blushed. “And Humdrum?” "I just don't have much offense abilities I'm more tech kind of guy, but I can at least try to spot any weakness I can" he said and that reminded the visitors he's practically a kid still smart but still a kid. “Very well,” Kuuga admitted as he turned towards the crowd of growing Pureblood Heartless and Emblem Heartless. He saw Darkballs, Invisibles, and Bit Snipers in the crowd with Armored Knights, Surveillance Robots, and a Behemoth. With that the fighters charged. Six hours later, the group had fought through the army of Heartless and now stood before the throne room of the castle preparing for the confrontation. “Is everyone ready?” Kuuga asked as he swapped his Rising Ultimate Titan Sword with a Rising Ultimate version of the Pegasus Blowgun while his keyblade glowed as ice magic swirled around it. "Let's get this over with so we can get out of this comic book. I honestly never thought anything like Pooh's story book was in my Equestria!" I said with a sigh entering Valor form so I could dual wield both Nocturne and Solarflare. “Shh!” Daguva shushed as he leaned his head against the door, “Do you hear that?” Everyone quieted and listened. They could hear organ music before the doors slowly began to open as the group quickly stood back. "Now I'm being reminded of Castlevania here," I said hoping that we weren't going to fight a being with those abilities. The music continued to play as a figure sat in front of the organ as if he didn’t hear the doors opening before he stopped and got up from his seat as his black cape flapped. “Welcome,” The figure spoke in a deep voice as he turned around to reveal another Kuuga in his Rising Ultimate Form but it was completely gray with dark black armor and has a Heartless Emblem on his chest, “I’ve been expecting you. James and other me.” "Shoot we might have a hard battle ahead," I whispered to the group with a wince. “I heard that young James,” Another voice spoke up. "Another Daguva I presume figures you’re in the shadows," I said with a wince. “Correct,” the other Daguva answered as he stepped to show his black form with white anklets and armbands while wearing white cape armor with the Heartless Emblem on his chest as well. "Well guess I should go all out for this one" I said as my drive clothes turned green. "Now then to quote a hero of mine, saa count up your crimes!" Dark Kuuga, however, laughed as he waved his hand as my clothes reverted back to black. "My Light Drive! Kuuga if you ever get that ability remind me to kill you if you use it" I said shocked. “Uh James, I don’t think that’s an ability of Kuuga’s,” Kuuga stated as he stepped back in fear. Daguva clenched his hands as the thunder outside clashed even louder. Dark Kuuga laughed as he stepped down the stairs to the group before him as he and Dark Daguva started to walk around them like a pair of sharks swimming around a stranded sailor lost at sea. "This is bad," I thought as I looked around before I remembered something. "Wait, if you’re both the future versions of these two then you have the same fears!" I said and gained a smirk. Dark Kuuga and Dark Daguva raised an eyebrow in confusion before they took out the Void Gear. "Surprise, Musashi please," I stated with a disturbing grin as everyone got what I was saying. Kuuga and Daguva slapped their hands over their faces and quickly blindfold themselves while taking a stance with their keyblades. But the others did see that the two Heartless did pale a lot as the ghostly pegasus grinned as she pulled out the red Eyecon. Surprise pressed the button as an emblem of two swords appeared before she swapped the Eyecon in her belt with the red one before pulling the lever and pushing it back. KAIGAN! MUSASHI! KETTO! ZUBATTO! CHOKENGO! Her armor immediately changed as a red parka with glowing red eyes flew out of her driver and strapped on to her. She pulled out the Gangan Saber and put it in Dual Sword Mode. “Now, who is ready to party!?” Surprise shouted in a crazy voice as flames appeared behind her courtesy of Daguva. The group closed their eyes as she floated and charged at the two like a wraith after their souls. Dark Kuuga and Dark Daguva screamed in horror as they covered their eyes, but their fear turned to pain when they felt something stabbed through their torsos! They uncovered their eyes and saw their Amadams on their belts have cracked with a keyblade sticking out before they were removed by their counterparts. “Rule number one in a fight: Never let your guard down,” Kuuga stated as he tossed his Keyblade up in the air before catching it. "Second rule: Never take your eyes off your opponent" I said as I slashed them from behind. But they suddenly vanished into thin air before reappearing above us. “You may have weakened us other versions of ourselves, but we are strong enough to fight against you!” Dark Kuuga angrily stated before the Guardian appeared behind their backs. "Third rule: be sure that every combatant is accounted for," I sighed as I shook my head. DAIKAIGAN! Was heard from behind the two Heartless. Dark Kuuga and Dark Daguva managed to dodge the attack but they still suffered a slash from it. “Rgh! You may have the upper hand!” Dark Kuuga stated as he held out his hand while Dark Daguva did the same. “But that doesn’t mean you have won this battle!” Dark Daguva continued before the castle started to rumble as cracks appeared on the floor. “IT’S ONLY THE BEGINNING!!” The two Heartless declared before darkness swirled inside the throne room as the two begin to merge. “Okay, that is sickening!” Kuuga stated as he watched six insect-like arms came out of the darkness followed by four stag beetle wings. Two Heartless legs stomped out of it before a head of a Darkside Heartless covered in a stagbeetle helmet came out and roared at the terrified group. "Shadow Gouram Darkside," I said having scanned the new Heartless. I was broken out of my fear by Humdrum. "Look the gem on it's belt! It's still cracked! If you shatter it, it will possibly be destroyed!" said the small dragon. "Of course, back home when the Amadam was shattered Kuuga and Daguva lost their powers! Everyone! Aim for the stone! I'll distract it!" I said transforming to my Dragon Form to battle the SGD. “Okay!” Kuuga shouted as he jumped with Daguva and bicycle kicked the Darkside as it roared in anger as it tried to swipe at them! But then I shot out a blue flame at its head making it turn its attention to me. “Hey Big Guy! Down here noodle brain!” Kuuga taunted as he did a akamei. The SGD roared as it slammed its hand into the ground as Heartless started to come out of a portal it recently made. The Power Ponies took care of those letting me to fly by and slash the Belt with my bladed tail, but I was immediately caught by the giant Heartless as it grabbed Kuuga and Daguva as well and roared at us. But then Surprise made her appearance with with a Omega Slash further cracking the Amadam making the Heartless let go of the warriors from the pain. Kuuga and Daguva landed in a crouch with their hands to the ground before pulling out their keyblades as I landed by them and shared each other a look. The three of us nodded as I grabbed the two and flew up and tossed them at the SGD. Kuuga and Daguva did a midair somersault and performed a flying sidekick before they started to spin like a drill. “ULTIMATE STAG BEETLE DRILL KICK!” The duo declared as they drilled through the Amadam. As I reverted to human form, I casted Gravity on my keyblade. "This is the end! Gravity Raid!" I roared tossing my keyblade at the stone as the brothers jumped back finally shattering it.The SGD roared as a storm of darkness swirled around it before it shrank to the size of a beachball and collapsed as fragments fell off to reveal two Shadows. I blinked and looked to the brothers. "Odd, I was expecting the usual giant heart flying into the air like it usually does with that kind of battle," I said in confusion. “Maybe it’s because they are not what they claimed to be,” Kuuga stated as he picked up the two Heartless gently and hugged them much to theirs and the heroes’ surprise. A bright light shown as two 8-year-old girls replaced the two Heartless. Both definitely looked related to me. “They are merely children who’ve lost their mind to power and grief,” Daguva stated as he strapped his Limiters back on as the storm started to clear up outside. I took a look at the two girls. Both had greenish hair and eyes, but the younger one had a brown streak of hair. Both were dressed in black dresses with what looked like a key symbol on the heart area. Both looked a bit shocked to see me. "Daddy, i-is that you!?" Asked the younger girl making all of us surprised. “DADDY!?!” Daguva exclaimed while Kuuga remained calm, “Wait!Wait!Wait!Wait!Wait! James! Since when did you have kids?!” "I think they are from the future I mean Young Xehanort can time travel so these two must have done the same," I said before the two kids looked at Chrysalis and smiled at her. “Actually,” Kuuga stated as he pulled out a folder with the Heartless Emblem on it, “It’s more than that.” "How so sugar cube?" asked Applejack. “I found this during the fight,” Kuuga explained as he opened the folder, “It says something about Project Twilight Evolution.” "Xemnas! Great so I will have to fight him in the future. Considering my Equestria is up on the border of the Kingdom Hearts universe it's likely he knows who I am when I was a statue" I groaned in annoyance. “WOULD YOU PLEASE STOP INTERRUPTING ME SO I CAN EXPLAIN?!!?” Kuuga bellowed as the wind blew past my hair for a moment, “I was trying to explain that these two didn’t come from the future, but rather from your presence a few weeks ago.” Suddenly sobbing could be heard from his arms and Chrysalis took the now crying kids from his arms giving him a glare as she did. “Sorry,” Kuuga apologized as he stroked the twin’s hair gently, “I sometimes lose my cool when I keep getting interrupted. Look, the reason why these twins called you ‘daddy’ was because they imprinted on you and Chrysalis as they were created from your DNA.” "Um actually Mr. Beetle we were approached by by a man in a cloak" spoke up the older twin making everyone laugh at Kuuga's new nickname. “What do you mean?” Kuuga asked, “According to this folder, the man in the black cloak gave you two Amadams from another dimension and amplified your darkness to turn you into Heartless.” "The meanie took us from mommy here during a storm while daddy was fighting off invaders" said the younger girl. "Let me check something," I assumed and used Scan on them. "Thorn and Marie Del Light born from James Del Light and Chrysilas. Half changeling. Well that explains it. They are my kids just from a different timezone," I said only to be surprised when Rainbow Dash cheered. "I knew you two would get together! It was obvious to everyone, but the two of you!" She flipped in the air. I felt my jaw drop at her as Twilight groaned. "Never bet against Dash like this again! Now I'm out the next daring do book when it comes out!" She said lowering her head. A glow caught my attention to the organ as the keyhole appeared. "Well looks like it's time to head home gang!" I said pulling out my keyblade and sealed the keyhole making a bright light flash. When it died down everyone but the the power ponies was back in Twilight's room with the Mane Six back in pony form. “James,” Kuuga spoke up as he transformed into his Growing Form, “What’s going to happen to Thorn and Marie? They’re from a different timeline.” "After my experience with watching Kamen Rider Den-O it's safe to say their timeline no longer exists. It sounded like the Heartless had taken over like Destiny Islands in that timeline. By then I should have sealed Equestria to prevent that. Which means something was different in that timeline. So for now they are staying here. Give them a better future than what they experienced" I said. “‘For Now?’” Kuuga repeated before he bonked my head with a rubber hammer, “BAKA!” "I meant until I can find my own place a library is not a place for kids to live. By here, I was referring to the library! Sheesh!" I explained. Kuuga growled when his Amadam glowed as he suddenly changed into his Mighty Form as he took out two cream pies and stalked towards me while a miasma came off of him. Daguva and Surprise, however, stepped back to get out of the way. “Then choose your words more carefully!” Kuuga snapped with comical anger as he threw a pie at me, but I quickly ducked as the pie hit Pinkie instead who slurped it off her face with joy. I quickly ran out of the Library as Kuuga started to throw pies at me. "Yeow! Kuuga our contract is complete!" I said making him freeze. "Next time i will get you with a pie!" Said Kuuga as he started to disappear before he laughed in a cheerful tone, “If you are wondering how I transformed into Mighty Form so quickly, I guess my Amadam accelerated my healing process! HAHAHAHA!!
