> The Finer Mechanics of Magic-Based Babying > by Syntakitty > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > And Its Potential Practical Applications in the Real World > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "And... that's it! Perfect!" Twilight Sparkle cheered internally as she released her magical grip, and slowly backed away from the focusing crystal, careful not to make any sudden movements. She couldn't afford to. Any unnecessary vibrations from the surrounding area would easily throw off the entire experiment. The resulting mess would be catastrophic; the clean-up would take a day or two, at least. Thank goodness Pinkie was busy over at Sugercube Corner. Nice and far away. This was, thankfully, the last crystal of many she had to painstakingly tune and place, over the course of many hours. The main room of her castle was now absolutely littered with the things. They were all arranged into a wide circle, with each one surrounded by their own private circle of quartz dust. Each of those circles had a line of dust leading to the centre of the overall pattern. In the middle of it all, right on top of where twenty-odd lines intersected, sat a vastly larger crystal, which pulsated with a dim pink light every few seconds. Bringing up a clipboard and ticking the last prerequisite off of her list with a feathered quill, Twilight sighed, brushing an errant lock of mane out of her face. She was finally done setting up. Weeks upon weeks of research, study and practice were finally about to bear fruit. She took a moment of reprieve, delighting in the rare silence hanging in the room. Spike was out helping Rarity with her dressmaking, and the rest of her friends were similarly busy. They wouldn't be bothering her for the rest of the afternoon, at least. She set the clipboard and quill down on a nearby chest, and carefully trotted up to the arranged summoning glyph. She then took a deep breath, calming the beating of her heart, before pulling the spell structure into her mind, and flared her horn. Magic like this had so, so much potential, and Twilight simply wouldn't squander it by bringing anything other than 100% of her concentration. Even emotions were a factor. If she were in a foul mood, she wouldn't be risking testing such a complex spell. Negative emotions only poisoned magic. Tainted it, even, transforming it into something darker. Combining incredibly delicate spell-craft and dark magic could only lead to disastrous results. Twilight shuddered at the thought of it. The spell itself was simple enough. It was basically a complete rework of Luna's energy-being summoning spell, with a few extra adjustments and features. The whole negative-emotion amplifier aspect of the spell was the very first thing that required a change. Instead, the spell promoted positive feelings in the form of an aura around the construct. Some advice from her sister-in-law, Cadance, helped here. The rest of Luna's spell was just stripped down to its core mechanics, overly simplified, and re-evaluated. For instance, when the construct was first created, it would be given a direct mind-link to its summoner. This enabled the construct to draw from the caster's imagination and desires, without the need for complete sentience. The construct was strictly limited to do only what the summoner wanted of them. And even then, the instructions had to pass through a multitude of conditions and fail-safes before the task could be completed. It was also designed with self-sufficiency in mind. The construct sustained itself by tethering to the palace's magical energy, which was never in short supply. All that was really required of the user was the first stream of magic to summon the construct. And even then, the large amount of focusing crystals managed the brunt of the workload, so that almost any unicorn could easily cast the spell. All in all, it was an extraordinarily fine piece of spell work, if she did say so herself. To recap, this spell could be used to instantly call a temporary servant. All the summoner would have to do is power a spell, which carried details of what the summoner wanted from the servant, and simply direct it at the larger crystal. The servant would, in theory, be able to do odd jobs around the house, walk the dog, or even just cuddle with the pony, if they so desired. Twilight grinned, briefly entertaining the thought of snuggling with a magical being, then shook her head and quickly regained her focus. With a determined glint in her eyes, Twilight directed the charged spell towards the crystal in the centre. As soon as the spell connected, the crystal immediately began to buzz, the light pulsing from its polished surface intensifying and darkening to more of a royal purple colour. Before Twilight could take note of the interesting reaction, multiple beams of light shot forth from the crystal, colliding with the surrounding smaller focusing crystals. The air thickened as a reaction to the large amount of concentrated magic. Twilight could feel the room getting much warmer, and so brought up a hoof to wipe her brow of perspiration. The casting continued as normal, when Twilight experienced a small, uncomfortable tug at the base of her horn, but she paid no lasting heed to it, chalking it up to being a random side effect of the spell. She shrugged it off, and changed her posture so that her horn was directly pointed at the light show. As the last threads of the spell began to weave together, all the crystals around the room slowly rose from the ground, glowing with that same purple. Twilight paused, and after steadying herself and taking a deep breath, she put a powerful surge of magic into the spell. A simple command was mentally carried across with the burst of magic. The instructions for the construct to follow. They were simple and slightly vague, suitable enough for the first test run. 'Help me.' There was a notably larger buzz that made Twilight's ears perk up. Then, everything went silent. "Umm..." Twilight ventured curiously, raising her head. "Was that... Was that supposed to happen? I don't think that's supposed to happen," she admitted to herself quietly. Her face was mixed between confusion and anticipation. She stared, eyes narrowed, at the larger crystal. The buzzing had stopped, leaving the crystal to just sit there, hovering in mid-air. A few moments passed. "So, uh..." Suddenly, there was a bright flash of light. Twilight's eyes widened in surprise as she took a few steps back. Unfortunately, she somehow managed to trip over the nearby chest and fall to the ground, lightly bonking her head off of its lid. She could only see the blurry image of a few small tendrils protruding out from the summoning crystal, before everything went dark. "Come on, sweetie. It's time to wake up." "Hmm..." Twilight groaned in response. She shifted in her sleep, shrugging off the hoof on her shoulder. Her left ear flicked in irritation at the interruption to her peaceful slumber. "No... five more minutes, Cadance... sleepy..." A muffled giggle. "I know you are, hun, but nap time is over now. Don't you want some dinner~?" The alicorn huffed, rolling over to her other side. Whatever she was laying on felt strangely cold. And dusty. And not at all like her nice warm bed. Her tail swished around, trying to feel for a comforter or anything familiar. "Sweetie pie, come along. You can nap some more later." Inconsistencies were beginning to add up as Twilight awoke slowly, blinking, eyes adjusting to the dim light. From what she could make out, the crystals and dust from earlier were now neatly swept into a corner by the bin, and everything else swiftly tidied away. Her clipboard and notes sat neatly in a pile on the desk. Then she noticed her. Or it. The vague shape of a pony close by, crouched, trying to meet Twilight's gaze. She looked very purple. From her mane to her eyes. Everything was purple. And translucent? What? "There you are! Good morning, pumpkin! Have a nice rest?" The being chimed, in a way that didn't use her mouth. Not that she had one to begin with. "W-what? Who are you!?" She demanded, rising to her hooves. The purple thing did the same, their eyes scanning over one another. Now that she could get a better look at it, she could see that this being was obviously her creation. A successful magical construct summoning! It looked mostly how she suspected it would; a being of pure energy, in the shape of a pony. Appearance wise, it had more in likeness to a crystal pony. Or hard candy. Flowing ethereal wisps made up its mane and tail, moving as if on an invisible breeze. Honestly, it was hard for Twilight to wrap her head around it. "Don't worry about that now, sweetie. Why don't- Oh! Look at you! You're all dusty! Here, let me get that~" Before Twilight could react, the construct trotted towards her, raising a hoof to brush off the splotches of white dust from the side she had been laying on. Looking down, she quickly noticed that as the hoof interacted with her coat and wing, the dust seemed to just vanish, leaving behind a faint tingly feeling. Probably static. Twilight Sparkle stared in wonderment. A million thoughts were dancing around in her head, and she was experiencing a myriad of emotions. Why didn't her head still hurt from bumping it earlier? How long was she out for? Did the summon actually work? No issues at all? What did she do now? Why did it insist on baby-talking her in Cadance's voice? It was only when the being tried to casually lift Twilight's wing and clean underneath that it spooked her out of her thoughts, so she took a few steps back to discuss it. "Okay, wait just a moment, please. I need to ask you a few questions. No touching." She commanded, shuffling her wings self-consciously. It nodded, ceasing the coddling and adjusting its posture to a more respectful one. "Good, good. First, uh... Hello! My name is Twilight Sparkle. I am the one who summoned you, which means you must obey me. Do you, um, understand?" She spoke clearly and loudly, in much the same way Celestia would address a guard. Her commanding tone was, of course, betrayed by the fact that her wings and hooves were fidgeting awkwardly. "Yes, Twilight. My purpose is to serve you for as long as you have need of me, to the best of my ability." It read off its predetermined response in a bored yet mirthful tone, rolling its eyes. It waited a few moments, and a cheeky smile spread across its muzzle. "Cutie~" A warmth blossomed on her cheeks, and she fidgeted a bit more. "S-second! Why are you addressing me like that? I don't remember including that in the spell." It giggled again, nodding. "During my summoning, you allowed me a glimpse into your mind. As you created me, you let me see how you wanted me to look and sound. You had a vague idea of how a magical servant would act, based on past experiences of ponies doting on you. Your foal sitter was the most recent example." The frank answer stunned Twilight, her mouth opening and closing soundlessly. The room fell silent as the Princess of Friendship tried to process it. "So you created me to take care of you! To help you explore this side of yourself!" "I-I don't...! Cadance isn't-" "Plus, I know you enjoy it, little one. I think we both know about all the cute things you have hidden under your bed~" The teasing smirk evolved into an almost predatory grin, delighting in Twilight's flustered gasp, and how her wings flapped in alarm. Twilight briefly entertained the thought of simply cancelling this experiment now, packing away everything, and never speaking of this again. Her face burned, and her hooves shook. Thankfully, this wasn't a real pony. It was just a part of her mind, personified. Otherwise, she'd be doing a very good job of imitating Gummy, and then promptly dying of embarrassment. She bit down hard on her lip. "Y-you! That's not...! I, ugh! Fine! You're right." She confessed, hanging her head and closing her eyes. Her ears splayed, her lavender tail tucked tightly between her legs. Surprisingly, she felt less shame than she thought she would. Instead, it felt as though she was finally coming to terms with what she wanted. She felt a hoof gently lift her chin, and as her eyes met with a caring gaze, she felt all the building anxiety melt away. Even though she thought she could be panicking or crying, she was just overcome with a serene calmness. For once, when confronting herself about this fetish (literally), she felt hopeful, as though she could finally begin to explore it. "You okay, sweetie? You've gone quiet. I can stop if you want. Just give me the word." It whispered, moving the hoof to gently caress Twilight's cheek. "We can always do this another time." "N-no!" She protested, then shook her head, blushing just a bit more. "No. I don't think I should waste this opportunity. It just took me by surprise, is all." She bolstered her resolve. "I'm okay with trying this, if you're offering?" Another nod. "Absolutely, Twilight." With a flash and a pop, the construct was suddenly donning long blue dress. It was long-sleeved and buttoned up the front, with the ruffled skirt only just reaching the floor. Another pop, and a familiar bright red duffel bag appeared beside it, chock full of supplies. Trying to ignore the bag, emphasis on trying, the lavender alicorn cleared her throat. "G-good! Now, before we, uh, begin? Yeah. Um, what do I call you? I don't think I ever asked if you had a name. Should I give you one?" She stammered, and focused her attention to a suddenly interesting speck of dust clinging to her fetlock. "Oh, I think I'd like to be called Mary. It's a nice name." She stepped forward, holding Twilight's hoof. "But, hun, you can just call me Nanny~" > Demonstrations and Observed Affects > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Honestly, this wasn't that bad. She thought to herself as she lay atop a smooth plastic mat adorned with clouds and rainbows. Nanny was busying herself with the supply bag, levitating out a few of the essential necessities. One would've sworn that the magical being was purposely lifting them high enough for the alicorn to spot them in the corner of her eye. She redoubled her efforts to control her blush. Twilight, meanwhile, stared up at the ceiling. What a strange situation to end up in. She never would have guessed that today she'd not only be confronted about her buried desires, but also be able to act upon them. It was almost surreal. She was afraid that if she blinked, she'd be back in bed, with no- "Such a quiet filly today, aren't we? You haven't fallen asleep again, have you?" Her ears flicked towards the teasing voice and she squeaked. "Or maybe you're just shy. Adorable, either way." She chuckled and wiggled a bit, craning her neck to look around for the caretaker. "I-I mean, who wouldn't be a little nervous? It's not every day you get to experiment with this kind of stuff. In fact, I'm excited!" She stammered, then relaxed against the plastic mat. Finally, Mary entered Twilight's view. Having to lift her head again to get a good look, she noticed that the being's ethereal mane was tied up into a bun. It looked nice. "Don't get too excited, now. We need to get you padded first! We don't want a mess, now, do we?" "Hardy har har." Twilight grinned, propping herself up with a wing. Nanny just gently pushed her back down. "Very funny." She continued, but paused for a moment, just so that she could at least rest her head on a foreleg. Much better. "I don't think you'll have to worry about that for a while yet." "Yet?" Mary asked simply, while shaking a plain white disposable diaper open with her magic. It rustled and crinkled as the front fell open, exposing the plush interior. It looked so soft. As the princess examined it, she felt her chest swell. Something within her, her urges, needed this comfort. Eventually she broke her gaze away, to meet with Mary's expectant look. Oh, right, yeah. Nanny asked her a question. "Yet, yes. I would like to try it in the future, but definitely not now. I don't think I'm ready for that now... Does that make any sense?" Mary was just about done with vigorously sprinkling a hefty dose of sweet-smelling foal powder on Twilight's diaper area when she answered, though the cloud of powder obscured her warm smile. "Of course, hun. Just let me know if you change your mind." A few light taps to Twilight's inner thigh. "Lift that cute butt up, please~" Twilight held a breath as she did as she was told, wiggling her hooves in the air. Her wings even flapped a few times, knocking the powder bottle on its side. With another few successive taps, she relaxed and released her breath, letting her bottom descend to its new cushion. To say that it was comfortable would be a pretty accurate statement. As a pony whom often made nests of desk chairs and wooden flooring, and very rarely wore any kind of underwear or lower apparel, the idea of wearing a permanent tush cushion was a pleasant one. "Wow. T-this is nice. Comfy~" She practically purred, doing a little wiggle atop the mat. It was all rather silly, considering the change hadn't even finished. Shaking her head with a tutting noise, Mary brought the front of the diaper up and over, flattening it down and making short work of the six tapes. Just a few adjustments later, the diaper was securely fastened to the mare's waist. "There! My little cutie patootie is all diapered up! Why don't you toddle around a bit and see how it feels?" Wobbling, the alicorn rose to her hooves, immediately noticing how her gait widened substantially. Crinkles echoed off of the walls as she quickly looped in a circle, wings outstretched for balance. When she was comfortable, Twilight turned towards her Nanny, beaming. "I have to admit, this is pretty great. I can't believe I didn't try this sooner!" Mary shook her head. "Me either. You went through all the trouble of sneaking out and buying those weeks ago, but you didn't even try one on. I bet you feel pretty silly now, huh?" She grinned, but it quickly turned to a grimace as she noticed Twilight had stopped waddling. She watched as her charge's body language changed so suddenly, locking up with her ears folded flat. Through their link, she could feel the rising regret and shame. Those teasing words had struck a nerve. She immediately wanted to take them back, raising her hoof to take a step forward. Twilight had gone quiet. Those feelings of awkwardness suddenly began to creep back up on her. A part of her wanted to call this weird. Not normal. What was she even doing? Just take it off and bury these urges. She looked dumb, and she knew it. Sensing the overflowing negative emotions, Nanny dashed to intervene, holding Twilight's cheek. "Shhh, hun, it's okay! Just take a second and breath. I'm here." The gentle words were soothing. "T-thank you, Nanny. I just..." She shivered furtively, then nodded and took a long, deep breath. In, and out. A hoof held to her chest as she filled her lungs, forelocks tickling her barrel, then carefully extended the hoof as she released. At some point, she had sat down, leaning her cheek against Mary's chest. "Better? How are you feeling, Twilight?" She whispered, petting Twilight's mane and stroking her back. "I was just teasing you, and you got a little spooked there! Spooked your nanny too~" "Y-yeah, sorry. I'm good. Just a lot of emotions at once, I guess. Perhaps a little over-excited." She chuckled, muffled somewhat by what she was leaning against. "Thank you." Mary gave a few more decisive rubs, then parted the hug by taking a step back. Neither of the ponies had noticed that Twilight had wrapped both wings around her during the hug. It was a sweet gesture, and it's rewarded by a chaste kiss to the forehead. "Just doing my job as your nanny, sweetie. Now, why don't we go get you dressed up?" After a brief trip to the closet, Nanny was now in the process of levitating a comfortable pink pajama top up and over Twilight's head, helping her thread her hooves through the puffy sleeves and adjusting the round collars. Next, Twilight had to step into a baby blue overall dress, keeping herself mostly still as Nanny dressed her, and the clasps were securely fastened. A pair of fluffy white socks adorned her back hooves. A quick grunt and fumble to pull the princess's wings through the proper slits, and the outfit was complete. "You look adorable, sweetie~" Nanny reassured, watching over as Twilight looked at herself in the bedroom mirror. "I feel adorable!" She beamed, lighting her horn to readjust the left suspender of her dress. It honestly looked as though she were a filly again... if fillies were tall, mature alicorn princesses with impressive wingspans. Maybe she didn't pull off the illusion perfectly, but it was still fun to play the part. Mary trotted up and nuzzled into Twilight's cheek, using her own magic to put the suspender back where it had been. Even such a small gesture earned a pout and a blush from the pony. "Are you sure you don't want me to put your mane in pigtails? You'd look precious~" She offered, levitating some red scrunchies beside her. "No thank you, Nanny. I think this is perfect as is." She returned the nuzzle, her ears tilting forward. With a smile still tugging at her cheeks, Twilight tried to spin in place to see how her padded butt looked now. The rustling white garment could definitely still be seen peeking out from under the skirt, and she found that she liked the look. The ethereal pony, meanwhile, let out a quiet "Hmm..." as she stared at the mare's backside, contemplating something. Noticing the attention, Twilight was quick to give a cheeky wiggle of her booty , flicking her tail at her caretaker's nose. Fizz, pop! She jumped in surprise, whipping her head around. At first, Twilight guessed that something must have teleported. "Wuh? What happened?" She turned to Mary, who was smiling innocently. It was only when she caught the sight of her slightly poofier plot in the mirror that she narrowed her eyes. "Did you just cast an enlarge spell on my diaper?" Fizz, pop! Fizz, pop! "H-hey, wait!" Twilight squeaked, trying to cover her lower half with her tail and tugging her skirt down with her hoof. Her back legs were forcibly spread wide, wobbling. The sudden weight and bad posture threatened to topple the poor princess on her butt. The pony besides her laughed, placing her own hoof on the padding, helping her keep her balance. "Gah! T-this is too thick! Go back a bit!" Pop, fizz. The diaper shrunk down a bit. Twilight let out a relieved sigh. Still not quite able to touch her back hooves together, or even squeeze her legs, but at least there was some circulation now. Her dress looked thankful for the change too, no longer creased and forced back to the waistband. "Aww, I'm sorry, cutie! I just thought a bigger diaper might be better for such a big foal." Mary snickered, planting two quick but firm smacks on the booty, certain that Twilight had no chance of feeling it through the poof. Lavender ears pinned back in embarrassment, and her wings gave a soft flap. "I-I'm not that big a foal." Twilight mock-whined, deciding she might as well play along with the teasing. It felt strangely liberating acting so immature around somepony. She was beginning to find more and more things to love about this fetish, even if it was embarrassing. "Oh, you aren't? I suppose I better shrink that diaper back, then? If you think you're such a big filly, after all." Twilight quickly shook her head. "Actually, I think I like them like this. It's weird, but they make me feel... safer? More secure?" She pondered, and she wiggled her diaper butt for emphasis. "Yeah." She confirmed her theory, looking away and scuffing a hoof on the carpeted flooring. "It's probably just me being silly, though. Hehe." "Whatever you want, honeybun~" Taking her by the hoof, Mary led Twilight away from the mirror, delighting at the mare's forced waddle. Sparks of magical energy surged through her hooves, ready to catch her the pampered mare she tripped. They made their way down the hallway, passing by a half-dozen doors, and took a turn to enter a lounge. Twilight was daintily deposited on the mat by the sofa, and heartily pat-patted on the noggin. "I'll be right back, hun. I'm just going to get you some numnums! Be good while I'm gone~" With a flash and a pop, she vanished. A full three minutes passed, and Nanny still hadn't returned. Twilight hadn't moved from where she sat, waiting patiently. Another minute went by, then another. Her gaze wandered around the room, trying to find something interesting to do that didn't involve reading. As much as she found the activity to be a good way to pass the time, she figured that it wasn't really that proper for her current role. Nanny would probably (hopefully) just put the book away if she caught her reading it anyway. Tucked away underneath a nearby table, Twilight spotted an old discarded plush. Levitating it over to her spot, she recognized it as one of Spike's old toys. A doll made in her friend Rarity's likeness. The mane was a bit dirty, and one of the button eyes had fallen off at some point. It brought up feelings of nostalgia, seeing her own Smartypants in the raggedy doll. Looking around once more to make sure nopony was watching, she hugged the plush tight to her chest, wrapping her wings around herself. She hadn't hugged a plush in years. A light, bubbly feeling welled up, and Twilight let out a tiny squee. "You're just too cute, sweetheart." Mary spoke up suddenly, making the diapered mare jump. How long had she been there? "Now, come and sit in Nanny's lap. It's time for your bottle~" It was harder than expected to rise from her sitting position. The thick diaper was weighing her down and throwing off her balance. She landed back on her butt twice, but the third time was the charm. A few flaps, and she was up, hurriedly hopping up on the sofa. The spot between Mary's far-spread back hooves was probably the most comfortable sitting spot in Equestria. She could feel Mary's silky dress beneath her thighs as she sat atop the skirt, and the familiar warmth now holding her close from behind. If she weren't so active, Twilight guessed that she could probably drift off to sleep right here. A gentle boop from something rubbery to her lips interrupted her reverie. She blinked at the bottle, filled with milk, and flared her horn to take the proffered object with her magic. Just as soon as it's enveloped in a pink aura, it was overtaken by a darker purple aura, and she lost grip of it. "Ah ah. I don't think so, little one. Nanny will feed you, okay?" Mary said behind her, close to Twilight's ear. Said ear twitched, and she nodded submissively. "Good girl. Open up~" It was easy to just let Nanny take charge. Her lips parted and the bottle's amber nipple filled the space. It was held there, letting the violently blushing Twilight work the feeding process out on her own. Her first instinct was to suck all the air out of the nipple, like a straw, which did next to nothing. Next, she tried coaxing the milk out with several slower intakes of air, and received a splash of warm milk against her tongue as a reward. Logic dictated that maybe this was the ideal method? She spent the next few moments adjusting her technique, and before long she was bottle-feeding like a pro. She was so focused on this task that she didn't notice a few rogue droplets of milk dribbling down her chin. She didn't even notice Mary's hoof descending to take hold of Twilight's skirt, ever so gently lifting it to expose more of the brilliant white padding underneath. The other hoof roamed up and down the plastic surface, tracing lines without much pressure at all. Just enough for the little one to notice. And Twilight noticed, stopping her suckling momentarily. For some reason, drawing attention to the poof hugging her waist made Twilight feel small. She felt safe in her diapers. Protected. She resumed the feeding, closing her eyes, replaying those thoughts in her head. There was a calmness, more than she had ever felt. Every worry or pressing thought just melted away, leaving her to just relax. Mary watched on as Twilight started suckling automatically, leaning all of her weight back on her caretaker. Her wings went completely slack, and there wasn't a peep out of her other than the 'nuk nuk' of her suckling, soft breathing, and the occasional coo. "That's it, cutie. Just relax for Nanny. You're comfy and happy in your diapers. Not a single worry or stress." They were her diapers. With them, and Nanny, and the warm milk, she felt lighter than a feather. She let herself fall deeper into the serene relaxation, as a heaviness settled on her eyelids. Before long, Twilight was snoring. > Conclusions > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Outside the window, the town of Ponyville bathed in the warm colours of a sunrise. Most ponies were still sound asleep, except for a few dedicated farmers and hyperactive ponies. Even the birds were still snoozing, not yet ready to share their birdsong with the world. Twilight Sparkle awoke a little while later, feeling well rested and rejuvenated. She opened her eyes to find she was still in Mary's lap. Except her place had changed. Instead of sitting, Nanny had probably laid her down, letting her rest her head on a thigh. She curled up, hugging a familiar doll to her chest, with something rubbery in her mouth. It had a solid plastic covering, with some other unseen plastic thing bumping against it with each suckle. A pacifier, she realised with a muffled "Oh.". She forgot she bought one of those. "Looks like the little sleepy-head enjoyed her nap~ How are you feeling?" She whispered, not wanting to upset Twilight's ears. Notably, she was still tracing lines over Twilight's diaper, but the ministrations were now focused on the backside. The dress had hiked up during her sleep, showing off most of it to whoever cared to look. "Mmnm hmnmm hmn..." The sleepy pony tried to speak behind the pacifier. "Hmn mnmm," she tried again, looking up at Nanny's motherly gaze. Spitting the thing out didn't seem to work, as a purple aura just popped it back in. Rolling her eyes at the antics, Twilight yawned and nodded. "Groggy? I suppose you would be! It is almost morning," Mary said, soothingly stroking Twilight's mane. Another pacifier removal attempt thwarted, too. "Don't worry, I let Spike know you were resting and not to disturb you. Whenever you're ready, we'll get you out of your diapers and get some breakfast." A pout. She wouldn't readily admit this to anypony, but she was starting to grow attached to the fluffiness swaddling her bum. A similar attachment was forming for the pacifier the longer she suckled on it. And there was definitely a bond forming between her and Mary. If she had her way, she would have just stayed here forever. But, alas, responsibilities called. She couldn't avoid them for long. Bit by bit, she became acutely aware of everything around her, emerging from the innocent, care free mindset. She noticed how sweaty the huge diaper had started to become, and how her clothes were uncomfortably wrinkled. Her teeth were starting to ache from suckling for so long. A list of tasks for the day formulated in her mind, and she was very eager to get started on it. To put it simply, Twilight was back in adult mode. "Before we do anything, I'd like to ask; how was your time with me? Did I perform satisfactorily? Want to do this again sometime? " She asked, swiftly thwarting yet another attempt, earning a huff. "Just nod or shake your head, sweetie~" Nodnodnod. "I'm very glad, Twilight. It has been a delightful experience for me, too." In a blinding flash and a pop, both ponies stripped of their respective clothing. Back to normal. All except for the bright pink pacifier. With a giggle, a spark from Twilight disappeared that too. The lavender mare reluctantly shifted her position after a moment, laying on her tummy with her hooves tucked under her. Working her sore jaw around, she quickly regained the familiarity of having nothing in her mouth most of the time, and being able to squeeze her legs together fully. Nanny was helpful enough, meanwhile, to scrub away a bit of dried drool from Twilight's muzzle, then started fussing over her bed-mane. Even if she wasn't in full Nanny mode, she could still take care of Twilight in small ways. "I would like to do this again soon, Mary. I had a lot of fun," Twilight purred, fluffing her wings out. "There's still so much to try! It's like I'm stepping into a fun new world! I want to keep exploring it with you. Would you help me with that?" "Of course, pumpkin~" And so the two ponies stayed together for just a few precious moments longer. Tackling the day could wait. For now, they were content.
