> A Metal Suit > by Just A Random Pegasus > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Missing > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "A whole week! Where could that mare be?!" Rainbow Dash remarked, flying in Twilight's face. "Well, maybe she had to go somewhere. You never know with Pinkie Pie," Twilight responded, pushing Rainbow out of her face. "Uh... well... I honestly am a little concerned about her..." Fluttershy said, looking to the ground. "Ah agree with Fluttershy. Pinkie's not sent any letter or anythin' explainin' where she might've gone," Applejack agreed, patting her friend on the back. "I agree. Twilight, we shouldn't let this go without knowing for sure where she is. What if she got hurt?" Rarity said, looking at Twilight. The alicorn thought for a moment. "You're right. But we never know. She could be planning a surprise, and doesn't want to show herself to us. She might want us thinking she disappeared, only to appear later and surprise us." "I know... but we can't just assume that! Pinkie Pie could've been kidnapped, hurt, or worse! We must find her!" Rarity responding, standing up. Twilight sighed. "Fine. We can look for her. But... where?" Rainbow raised a hoof. "I can fly around Ponyville looking for her!" "Ah'll check her house," Applejack added on, standing up and stretching her legs. Twilight nodded. "Alright. Everypony else, let's separate and look around Ponyville for her." Fluttershy tried to speak up. "Um... don't you think we should look in the pizzeria she said she was going to?" Nopony heard her, for they were all already looking around corners and buildings for their friend. Fluttershy hovered into the air and took off into the sky, looking at the fertile ground beneath her. "Pinkie! Are ya here?" Applejack called as she walked into Sugarcube Corner. Mrs. Cake looked at her, her facial expression turning into a small look of concern. "Sorry, Applejack. If you're looking for Pinkie Pie, she's not here." Applejack looked around. "Alright. Do ya know where she is? She's been gone for a week!" Mrs. Cake's eyes widened. "Oh... no, I'm afraid I don't know. And I thought she was sleeping over with you guys, since she doesn't tell me when she does. She is a grown mare, after all..." "Well, maybe she went out of town. You never know with her," Mr. Carrot Cake said, walking in. "Maybe. But she would've told us first instead of havin' us worry about her," Applejack responded as she turned to the door. "Thanks. Ah need to check more places for her. Ah promise we'll find her!" "Thank you, Applejack! Tell her that we need her to taste a few things," Mrs. Cake responded as Applejack ran out the door. When Applejack got outside, she found all her friends waiting outside Sugarcube Corner. "Wait.... you four are already done lookin'?!" Applejack questioned as Twilight nodded. "We all took an area, and with Ponyville being really small, it was easy to check everywhere." Twilight then looked down to the ground. "But that's not the point," she then looked back up to Applejack, a small look of concern in her eyes. "You didn't find her, did you?" Applejack shook her head. "Nope. The Cakes don't even know where she is," Applejack looked at her friends. "Ah guess that means you didn't find her, either." "Nope. Fluttershy and I even had aerial views and couldn't find her," Rainbow Dash responded, pointing up to the sky. Rarity sighed. "Any other ideas?" Fluttershy raised her hoof shyly. "We can go check the pizzeria. That's where she said she was going, so maybe she's there." Twilight smiled. "Good idea, Fluttershy! Why didn't I think of that?" Twilight then started walking over. "Let's go find our friend!" "Yeah! And get some pizza while we're at it!" Rainbow Dash added on as she flew over with her friends. > Watched > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The five soon approached the pizzeria that Pinkie had described. It had a blue and purple roof, with four characters on the sign. They looked like pony versions of a bear, bunny, chick, and fox. It looked like a very happy place; someplace Pinkie would never want to leave. "Ah think we found where she is," Applejack remarked, looking at the sign. It also said "Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria" on it. Fluttershy beamed. "Ooh! There are animals in here! What a great concept!" She then hovered into the air as Twilight looked up to her. "It does seem nice. But we have to find Pinkie Pie before we can interact with the pony-animal things," Twilight responded, raising an eyebrow. "I wonder why they have them look like ponies." Rainbow Dash waved a hoof. "Who cares? We need to find Pinkie!" Dash then flew over to the doors; her friends following closely behind. When the five entered, they were engulfed by the fresh smell of pizza. They looked around to see many fillies and colts laughing, singing a song. Soon, they saw three animatronics step onto the stage. The first was a purple one. It had the ears of a bunny, but stood on four hooves, just like the sign. The next one was a mixture of a chick and a pony. It had a bib that said, "Let's Eat". The final one to step out was a mix of a bear and a pony. They then cued up the mic, and started performing a song. The foals danced, giggling the whole time. Rarity smiled. "It's such a cute idea! The animatronics sure could use a little fixing up, though. They look a little..." "Creepy. There is no other word for it," Rainbow Dash interrupted, looking at the yellow one who looked back at her. "This yellow one is staring me down like it knows me." They looked over to see the animatronic not taking its eyes off of them. Rainbow turned her head away. "Uh... let's go and find Pinkie," she said, running away. The four stared at her as she ran into another room. "...Rainbow?" Twilight questioned as she flew over to Rainbow Dash. "Are you alright, darling?" Rarity asked when she was next to Rainbow Dash. Rainbow looked back up; a look of confusion trapped in her eyes. "I'm not sure, but the gaze of that yellow one felt really familiar." Applejack raised an eyebrow. "What'ya mean?" Rainbow looked to the ground. "I-I don't know. I can't place my hoof on it, but it seems really familiar." "I think they're all cute animatronics. I don't know what you find creepy about them, Rainbow," Fluttershy responded as Rainbow looked up at her. "I don't know why, either. It just seems like they... well... were watching me. Especially the yellow one." Twilight thought for a moment. "Well... I don't think I noticed it. Now, we must ask if they know where Pinkie is-" Twilight was cut off by Rainbow flying up. "Uh... yeah. You guys can. I'm gonna get out of here!" Rainbow then flew out in a blur, forcing the doors open. "What's up with her? There is nothing wrong with this place," Rarity remarked, looking around the room. She quickly took notice of the many security cameras scattered around. It did seem a little... creepy. She shook it off and looked over at her friends. Twilight shook her head. "I'm not sure. But for now, let's ask about Pinkie Pie. I imagine she got a job here without telling. This seems like the perfect place for her." Applejack, Rarity, and Fluttershy nodded their heads as they followed Twilight to a nearby counter. > Nightmares > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Twilight, Applejack, Fluttershy and Rarity walked out of the pizzeria. "I can't believe Pinkie Pie wasn't in there," Twilight remarked as she looked down to the ground. "I know," Rarity responded. "Where do you think we should look now?" Twilight looked at her and sighed. "I honestly don't know, Rarity. We could be looking throughout all of Equestria before we find her." Fluttershy whimpered. "Are we going to do that?" "In all honesty, I-I don't know. Well, we would at least need a good night's sleep before going out to search for her." Applejack nodded. "Yep. So, tomorrow, we'll go searchin' again." Rarity got a determined look on her face. "That sounds good to me!" Twilight smiled. "Alright. Let's make that a plan." Fluttershy raised her hoof shyly. "Um... Twilight?" "Yes, Fluttershy?" "Um... what about Rainbow Dash? She looked really scared. Don't you think we should comfort her?" Twilight's eyes widened. "Oh... right. I'll go make sure she's alright. You three rest up for tomorrow." "Alright. But, if ya need our help with Rainbow, just ask," Applejack responded. "Alright. Thanks, girls. I'll meet you at your houses tomorrow." "Bye, Twilight!" The three chorused as they trotted off to their homes. "Bye!" Twilight responded. She then looked in the direction of Rainbow's house. "Alright. Rainbow, I need to find out what's going on..." Twilight said to herself as she spread her wings and took off into the sky. Twilight landed on the front steps leading to Rainbow's house. She took a deep breath before knocking on the door. Hoof-steps were heard from the inside. Rainbow Dash then opened the door and made eye contact with Twilight. "Twilight? What are you doing here?" She asked. "Rainbow, may I come inside?" "Uh... sure! Why do you have to ask?" Rainbow responded as she took a seat on the couch. Twilight took a seat next to her. "Did you find Pinkie?" Rainbow asked. Twilight shook her head. "No. We are going to search for her some more tomorrow. But that's not why I'm here." Rainbow raised an eyebrow. "Well... then what are you here for?" Twilight put a hoof on her shoulder as a look of sympathy appeared in her eyes. "Are you alright?" Rainbow looked up at Twilight for a few seconds. "...Sure," she finally said, looking down to the ground. "Rainbow, what's got you so uneasy? Do you have a fear of animatronics or something?" Rainbow shook her head. "No. But, I am scared of how they looked at me. It's like they're... living or something like that. It was really disturbing." "Rainbow, you know they're not alive. They're just machines that were made to entertain foals." Rainbow groaned. "It doesn't seem that way..." Twilight stood up. "Well, we won't be visiting that restaurant again if you're scared of it. And, I think I saw a look of fear in Rarity's eyes when she caught sight of the many security cameras in that place." Rainbow slightly smiled. "Alright. Thanks for considering me, Twilight." No prob!" Twilight then walked towards the door. "Oh, yeah. We're going to resume the search for Pinkie Pie tomorrow." Rainbow Dash stepped off the couch. "Okay. Just make sure to not go anywhere with creepy, lifelike animatronics." Twilight slightly giggled. "Alright. You have a guarantee there. I'll see you tomorrow!" Twilight responded as she flew to her castle. Rainbow Dash looked around her; her hear pounding as loud as a Sonic Rainboom. She turned on a flashlight. She could swear she heard a small giggle in the darkness. It came again. A giggle that was really creepy, but familiar. She looked around her and felt for a light switch on the walls. To her dismay, it seemed to have disappeared. The giggle came again, but even closer this time. Rainbow flashed the light in front of her. Nothing. She then felt a presence behind her that felt really disturbing. She quickly turned around to find herself staring right into blue, metallic eyes. She backed up and flashed the flashlight. Gone. Rainbow whimpered and curled up in a ball. She then heard hoof-steps. She looked up and flashed the light. What was there made her jump into the air. It looked like the bear-pony Rainbow had seen at the pizzeria, but it was all black. It had red, glowing eyes, and the many rows of long fangs were adorned with blood. Then, the chick-pony from earlier appeared next to the frightening creature. "Who's ready for a party?" The animatronic asked as the creature stepped forward; baring its fangs at Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash backed up as the creature came even closer. Another giggle was heard. Realization then hit Rainbow Dash like a boulder. The giggle she was hearing was none other than Pinkie Pie. She then realized why the eyes staring at her earlier was so familiar. It was the glance Pinkie gave Dash when she was planning one heck of a party. She looked to see the creature right next to her, about to bite. "AHHHHHHHH!" Rainbow screamed as she shot up. She looked all around her room; there was no sight of an animatronic. She looked outside to see it was almost morning. "Ugh... it was just a nightmare..." Rainbow remarked as she lay back down in her bed. She then gave her nightmare a thought. The chick-animatronic did have the eyes like Pinkie Pie. That was why Rainbow was so scared. She decided she should inform her friends on how much the animatronic looked like Pinkie. Part of her felt they would deny her. but it was worth a try. > Disbelief > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rainbow quickly flew through Ponyville to Twilight's castle. The day was nice, but Rainbow wasn't paying attention to the weather. She felt her heart race and sweat run down her face. She couldn't stop thinking of her nightmare the last night. She soon saw the shiny, crystal tree piercing the sky. She flew down to the entrance and forced the doors open. She ran to find Twilight, who she hoped would be in her library. She picked up the pace as she saw the library and ran inside. Sure enough, Twilight had her face buried in a book. She looked up to see Rainbow all tired and frightened. She set her book down as a look of concern flooded her eyes. "Rainbow Dash? Are you alright?" She asked as she walked up to her friend. Rainbow looked down as her ears pinned onto her head. "I'm not sure myself, to be honest. Can you tell everypony else to come? There is something I need to say," Rainbow responded as she sat down on a chair. Twilight looked down to her. "Well... alright. I hope you're feeling better from yesterday and not freaked out because of that pizzeria," Twilight said as Rainbow kept her gaze on the ground. "It has something to do with yesterday. Just... get everypony else to come here please. Sorry to inconvenience you," Rainbow responded as Twilight nodded. "Well... alright. I can just teleport them all here," Twilight replied as her horn lit up. She then closed her eyes as a bright light flashed in three different places around the library. In those places, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Applejack appeared. "What in tarnation?!" Applejack remarked as she looked at her friends. "Oh... that was unexpected..." Fluttershy added on as Rarity nodded. "I was in the middle of a very important order! Twilight, darling, what is so important that you had to teleport us all here?" Rarity stated as she looked over at the purple alicorn. Twilight looked over to Rainbow Dash. "Ask Rainbow. She's the one who wanted to see us all," Twilight responded as she looked over at Rainbow Dash, who now looked up to see her friends. Tears started to fill her eyes. "Rainbow, ya'll are in an emotional wreck. What in tarnation happened?" Applejack asked as Rainbow looked over at her. "Well... that's what I wanted to talk to you guys about." Rarity took a seat on one of the many chairs in the library. "We're listening." Rainbow sighed as she rubbed her eyes. "Well... I had a nightmare last night..." Fluttershy gasped. "Oh no! Was it bad?" Rainbow nodded. "Yeah. Worse than the one I had with the singing sunflowers." Rarity raised an eyebrow. "The what now, darling?" "Nothing." Rainbow quickly remarked as she continued: "It was the creepiest thing I've ever dreamed of. It all felt so... real. There is no other word to describe it." Applejack walked over to Rainbow. "Now... it can't be just a nightmare. Otherwise, why would you tell Twilight to teleport us over here?" Applejack responded as she put a hoof on her friend's shoulder. "Well..." Rainbow remarked as she looked down to the ground. "What? Did something else happen?" Twilight asked as Rainbow got a confused look on her face. "I guess you could say that..." she then let out a loud sigh. "I found out why the animatronic was so creepy to me yesterday." "Really? Why?" Fluttershy asked as Rainbow looked at her. "That animatronic is Pinkie Pie." "WHAT?!" The four yelled as their jaws dropped. Rarity let out a chuckle. "Darling, how would a pony be an animatronic? It's impossible!" Rarity said as Rainbow glared at her. "I know... but that gaze that the animatronic gave me looked exactly like the one Pinkie gives me whenever she is about to plan an amazing party." Twilight sighed. "Rainbow, that's just a coincidence. There is no way Pinkie Pie could ever be inside an animatronic. Your nightmare must have messed with your head. The fact of Pinkie Pie missing and the new animatronics being creepy must have collided. I highly doubt the fact of Pinkie Pie being an animatronic being true." Rainbow's scowl grew. "Well, it's not like you know!" Twilight was slightly taken aback by this. A glare grew on her face. "Well then... what do you suggest we do?" Rainbow stood up and spread her wings. "Let's go to the pizzeria. I need to show you that I'm right!" Fluttershy whimpered. "I don't know... thinking that an animatronic is Pinkie Pie now makes things so much creepier..." Rainbow looked over at Fluttershy. "Well... we have checked everywhere else and Pinkie is nowhere to be found! You want to find her, don't you?" Fluttershy meekly nodded. "Y-yes..." she stuttered as Rainbow nodded. "That's why we're all going. Right now." She then started walking towards the door. "Rainbow, you do realize the pizzeria is closed today, right?" Twilight asked as Rainbow turned around. "How do you know?!" She replied. "I saw the hours before we left yesterday. I saw that it was closed today," Twilight responded as Rainbow muttered something under her breath and stormed out of the library. "Meet me here tomorrow at eight o' clock sharp, everypony!" She yelled as the sound of the stomping of her hooves seemed to fade. The four sat in silence for a moment. "Well... that happened..." Rarity said, breaking the awkward silence. The four looked to the ground; concerned for their friend. > Eyes of a Party > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The five stood in the main room of Twilight's castle; their hearts thumping. Rainbow gave them all a stern look. "I really hope you guys don't think I'm insane. I swear I'm right!" Rainbow stated as they sat in silence. Twilight spoke up. "Rainbow, we don't think you're insane. It's just... this idea is very farfetched for us to grasp." Rainbow let out an annoyed sputter. "Well, you guys will believe me once you see that animatronic up close." Fluttershy let out a small whimper. "I really, really, don't want to go. It makes it super scary to think that Pinkie Pie could be an animatronic..." "Fluttershy! This is our last resort! Now, let's go find our friend!" Rainbow responded as she trotted towards the door. "Oh dear..." Fluttershy whispered to herself as she walked close to her friends. The five finally approached the pizzeria. It looked so friendly; something that Rainbow immediately discounted. She stomped over to the entrance and slammed the doors. They opened up with a loud bang. "Rainbow! Show some respect!" Rarity remarked as Rainbow continued walking forward. Rarity then whispered to Twilight: "Rainbow is going completely insane." The rainbow Pegasus walked over to the stage where the three animatronics were positioned. The chick-pony looked down to Rainbow. Rainbow immediately recognized those eyes. "Pinkie!" She yelled as the animatronic kept its cold gaze on her. It then walked to the drum set near the other end of the stage. It then started a beat with the drums. The other four ran over to Rainbow. "I don't know what you're seeing..." Twilight remarked. Rainbow looked down and sighed. "I know. It probably seems like I'm insane, doesn't it?" Rainbow responded as her ears drooped. She then walked away. Twilight put a hoof on Rainbow's shoulder. "Well, not completely. But, I do think the fact of Pinkie Pie missing is getting to your head. Maybe you just need to rest." Rainbow looked over to her. "I still want to figure this out." She then walked towards a counter with a stallion sitting behind it. "Excuse me?" Rainbow asked as the stallion looked up at her. "Yes, ma'am?" He asked as Rainbow put a hoof on the counter. "I want to know if there's any way to get closer to the animatronics." The stallion gave her a peculiar look. "Well... the only way is to get a job here..." "What is available?" Rainbow asked as the stallion looked at a computer screen. "The only job is a night guard, ma'am." Rainbow nodded. "Can my friends work with me as well?" "Huh?" The four remarked at once. "Oh... uh, sure. I guess. The office space can be pretty small, though." He then set out an application. "I guess... you can all sign here." Rainbow signed her name as she handed the paper to her friends. "Sign. I'll show you then." Fluttershy let out a squeak as she signed her name. She was followed by everypony else writing their names on the piece of paper. They then gave the application back to the stallion. "Alright. Your first night will be tomorrow, starting at twelve A.M.. There used to be another night guard, but we have no idea where he disappeared to." "Alright. Thank you, sir," Rainbow responded as she walked out of the pizzeria. She was then followed by her friends. "Rainbow!" The four shouted as the Pegasus looked back. "What?" "Why would you force us to sign up for a job? I'll miss my beauty sleep now!" Rarity responded. "I need you guys to see I'm right! I am right!" Rainbow remarked as she fluttered her wings and flew away. The four looked up to the sky to see her dashing into the distance. "Yep. She's gone insane." Applejack remarked. > Night 1 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Uh... it's not so friendly here at night..." Fluttershy whimpered as she looked around the office. There was a phone and fan on the desk, a monitor, a swivel chair, and switches to close the doors and turn on the lights. The five were standing in the office, looking at the monitor and the small space. "This place could really need some renovation. I guess that's what I can do until six!" Rarity remarked as she used her magic to clear a cobweb near the right door. The brief second of silence was interrupted by a phone ringing. "I got it!" Rainbow called as she picked up the phone. The five then grew silent to listen to the message. "Hello, hello? Uh, I wanted to record a message for you to help you get settled in on your first night. Um, I actually worked in that office before you. I'm finishing up my last week now, as a matter of fact. So, I know it can be a bit overwhelming, but I'm here to tell you there's nothing to worry about. Uh, you'll do fine. So, let's just focus on getting you through your first week. Okay? Uh, let's see, first there's an introductory greeting from the company that I'm supposed to read. Uh, it's kind of a legal thing, you know. Um, "Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. A magical place for kids and grown-ups alike, where fantasy and fun come to life. Fazbear Entertainment is not responsible for damage to property or person. Upon discovering that damage or death has occurred, a missing person report will be filed within 90 days, or as soon property and premises have been thoroughly cleaned and bleached, and the carpets have been replaced." Blah blah blah, now that might sound bad, I know, but there's really nothing to worry about. Uh, the animatronic characters here do get a bit quirky at night, but do I blame them? No. If I were forced to sing those same stupid songs for twenty years and I never got a bath? I'd probably be a bit irritable at night too. So, remember, these characters hold a special place in the hearts of children and we need to show them a little respect, right? Okay. So, just be aware, the characters do tend to wander a bit. Uh, they're left in some kind of free roaming mode at night. Uh...Something about their servos locking up if they get turned off for too long. Uh, they used to be allowed to walk around during the day too. But then there was The Bite of '87. Yeah. I-It's amazing that a pony can live without the frontal lobe, you know? Uh, now concerning your safety, the only real risk to you as a night watchman here, if any, is the fact that these characters, uh, if they happen to see you after hours probably won't recognize you as a person. They'll p-most likely see you as a metal endoskeleton without its costume on. Now since that's against the rules here at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, they'll probably try to...forcefully stuff you inside a Freddy Fazbear suit. Um, now, that wouldn't be so bad if the suits themselves weren't filled with crossbeams, wires, and animatronic devices, especially around the facial area. So, you could imagine how having your head forcefully pressed inside one of those could cause a bit of discomfort...and death. Uh, the only parts of you that would likely see the light of day again would be your eyeballs and teeth when they pop out the front of the mask, heh. Y-Yeah, they don't tell you these things when you sign up. But hey, first day should be a breeze. I'll chat with you tomorrow. Uh, check those cameras, and remember to close the doors only if absolutely necessary. Gotta conserve power. Alright, good night." The five stood in silence for a second; their mouths hanging open. "Oh boy." Rainbow remarked, exhaling. "Uh... Rainbow... what did ya get us into?" Applejack asked as Rainbow looked to the ground. Fluttershy whimpered and hid under the desk. Twilight spread her wings out. "Girls! Let's not panic! We can do this!" Twilight yelled. "Shh! The animatronics could hear us!" Rainbow responded as Twilight rolled her eyes. "Yes, maybe, but it's not like it would cause them to come here any faster. We just have to keep checking these cameras and we'll be fine." Twilight replied as she sat on the chair. She scooted in closer to the desk. Silence hung over the room. Fluttershy was hiding under the desk, Rainbow was pacing, Twilight was looking at the cameras around the pizzeria, and Rarity and Applejack were watching her. Rainbow was heard mumbling some things to herself, but nopony could distinguish what she was saying. "Oh Celestia." Twilight said, breaking the silence. Her eyes were wide looking at the monitor. "What is it, darling?" Rarity asked as she looked at the monitor. "Oh. Wasn't there an... animatronic there before?" She asked as she nervously took a step back. "Yep. The bunny-pony has started to move." Twilight responded as chills went down the spines of everypony in the room. Twilight flipped through a few more cameras. "And... it's in the party room." The other four crowded around the monitor, looking at the purple animatronic. "Fluttershy? Do you think you can tame this one?" Rainbow nervously asked as Fluttershy shook her head. "No. Rainbow, that bunny is not a real animal." Fluttershy responded. Twilight then gasped. "Has the darn thing moved closer?" Applejack asked as Twilight shook her head. "No. That's not it." Twilight then turned to Rainbow. "Rainbow, you might be right about Pinkie Pie. She could have been stuffed into a suit!" The room went silent again. "I know this is gonna sound strange... but... I'm gonna have to borrow that return-to-life spell from Celestia." Nopony in the room moved. Twilight was the next one to stir motion as she checked the cameras again. She saw that the chick had vanished. "Oh no. Not the chicken!" Twilight remarked as she rapidly flipped through the cameras. She clicked on a camera that showed the kitchen. There was nothing to be seen. But, she heard something moving in there. "I think it's in the kitchen." Twilight stated as she flipped through the cameras again. "Let's see..." she paused for a second. "Oh. There's the bunny thing." Fluttershy gave a small squeak and appeared from under the desk. "Uh... should we close the door now?" Twilight shook her head. "You heard the stallion on the phone, Fluttershy. We must conserve as much power as possible, and close the doors only when there's an absolute emergency." "But..." Fluttershy started. "We don't want to be stuffed into an unclean, animatronic suit, darling." Rarity finished. Twilight nodded her head as she kept flipping through the cameras. Her eyes then grew large. "Close the west door." "Which one is that, darling?" Rarity asked as Twilight pointed. "That one! Quickly! The bunny is in the room right next to the office!" Twilight responded as Rarity ran over to the button and pressed it. The door fell with a bang. "Alright. We're safe there." Rainbow stated as she checked the clock. "Four A.M. Alright. We can do this!" She remarked. Twilight then looked at a few more cameras. "There's the chicken. In the east hall." She remarked as she continued looking at the cameras. "Uh... do ya'll think we can quit?" Applejack asked out of nervousness. Rainbow shook her head. "Sadly, the paper stated that we have to stay through all five nights." She let out a sigh. "That is, if we even survive the first night." "Rainbow! Press the door! Quickly!" Twilight called over. "On it!" Rainbow responded. She ran over to the door to close it. When she looked in the hallway, she saw a pair of metallic eyes staring at her. A high-pitched giggle was heard. "AH! NOPE!" Rainbow yelled as she hit the button, causing the door to shut. The four looked at her. "Was it out there?" Twilight questioned as Rainbow nodded. "Yes. The Pinkie Pie-chick giggled with the creepiest voice ever." Rainbow responded. She then checked the computer on the desk. "Twilight, look how much power we're wasting!" Just as she said that, the clock changed to five A.M. Twilight looked at the cameras again and saw the bunny had moved to the party room. "Alright. Open the west door." Twilight ordered as Rarity nodded. "Yep!" She responded as she pressed the button. The door then opened, causing them to feel unsafe once again. "Alright. It'll be six soon. We'll be fine." Twilight remarked, mostly to herself. She rapidly flipped through cameras. "The chicken is in the kitchen. I think we can open the door." Twilight said as Applejack walked over to the east door. "On it!" She responded as she hit the button. The other door then flew open. "Are you sure we should have done that?" Rainbow asked as Twilight nodded. "It would be better than the power going off, that's for sure!" The purple alicorn responded as she continued looking at the cameras. "Not again! Rarity, close the west door please!" "Oh, okay!" Rarity then hit the button, shutting the door. Twilight let out a small gasp. "Applejack! East door!" Twilight called over. "Got it!" She then hit the button, making the door fall once more. Twilight sighed. "Well... I don't think we can open the doors. We just have to wait until six." Fluttershy came out from under the desk, shaking with fear. "What happens at six?" "The stallion told me that they have to be ready on the stage by six-thirty. So, I'm guessing they roam back to the stage then." After a few minutes of silence and shaking, a bell-like sound came from the monitor. Twilight looked to see that it said "6:00 A.M." written on the screen. She jumped up in happiness. "Yes! We did it!" She remarked as the other four looked to the ground in relief. "Um... I don't want to come tomorrow..." Fluttershy whimpered as she tried to recover from her fear.
