	Princess Ginger Snap Sparkle, a beautiful alicorn princess with a bright pink coat, a gloriously flowing brown mane, and brown eyes, was relaxing in a volcanic hot spring somewhere in the western-most area of Equestria.
“Ah, I've so needed this,” Ginger Snap said to herself as she sank into the warm, steamy water. “No politics, no villains, no annoying draconequus children bothering me.” With a chuckle, she added, “That doesn't mean I don't love Discord, though.”
A few minutes into Ginger Snap's spa day, she suddenly felt a strange breeze. She looked behind her and gasped in horror as she saw her arch-rival, Pegasus Commander Colton, the villainous and disgraced former commander of the Pegasus Army, a pure white pegasus stallion with a spiky, bright pink mane. Many years ago, Ginger Snap had defeated Colton in a great battl1e, and he was exiled to the Changeling Empire. However, in recent years, Ginger Snap had used the power of the Ponado, a royal blade handed down in her family, to foresee that Colton was planning to return. However, Ginger Snap did not expect Colton to return so soon, and especially not here of all places.
“It's been too long, Princess Ginger Snap Sparkle!” Commander Colton cackled evilly.
“Commander Colton!” Ginger Snap shouted.
“Ginger Snap!” Colton shouted.
“Colton!”
“Ginger Snap!”
“Colton!”
“Ginger Snap!”
”Coltooooooon!”
”Gingerrrrr Snaaaaaaap!”
“What do you want?” Ginger Snap shouted as she got up, doing her best not to seem dazed by the thick steam around her that was emanating from the volcanic hot spring. “Why have you returned? You were banished years ago because of that tornado you created at the Wonderbolt's Training Camp that almost killed all the trainees!”
“I know, but they failed to appreciate my greatness,” Colton said with a devious grin. “I cleared those clouds in such time, I set an academy record! So what if a few little colts got a sprained wing in the process? Such is the price for power.”
“You've avoided my question,” Ginger Snap growled. “Why have you returned?”
“Why, to take my revenge, of course,” Colton replied. He then raised his hoof, and out of the steam from the volcano emerged a dozen or so Changelings. “Like my souvenirs from the land you banished me to? They follow my every command. Like this one: SEIZE HER!”
Upon command, the Changelings flew downward towards Ginger Snap. “Bring it,” Ginger Snap said with a grin as she licked her lips. It had been ages since she'd seen action like this, and she was about to savor this moment. Without wasting a second, she flew upward and gave one Changeling a powerful uppercut to the jaw, proceeding to whirl around and back hoof another into submission. Without skipping a beat, Ginger Snap fired several blasts of magic that shot several Changelings out of the sky. Before she knew it, though, Ginger Snap was suddenly grabbed by three Changelings. The beautiful princess struggled and squirmed, but she could not break free of the grasp of the Changelings.
“Bravo,” Colton said as he descended towards Ginger Snap, clapping sarcastically all the while. “Bravo, indeed. That performance was rather impressive. But I'm afraid your time has come.” Colton then leaned in, placed his hoof under Ginger Snap's chin, and leaned in until they were almost snout to snout. “Now, you will come home with me, and I shall finally make you my bride.”
Ginger Snap spat into Colton's face, causing him to recoil backwards. “Sorry, Colton,” Ginger Snap said, “but I'm afraid I'm taken.”
Colton wiped his face and growled. “I tried to be polite to you, Princess Ginger Snap Sparkle,” he said coldly. “But you have left me no choice. I shall just commit the deed right here… forcefully.”
Colton was about to proceed forward when he was suddenly blasted backwards by a beam of magic. “What was that?” Ginger Snap asked as she looked down towards where the beam originated from. What she saw was a jet-black unicorn stallion with a similarly jet-black mane and a rainbow-colored horn.
“You will release her!” the stallion below shouted.
“Who dares to give me such commands?” Colton shouted.
“I am called The Black Punisher,” the unicorn shouted. “Call back your forces and leave, or I will hurt you!”
“Fool!” Colton shouted. “Changelings, kill him!” Upon his command, the Changelings flew downward towards Punisher. However, they were easily blown away by rainbow-colored beams of magic.
“This doesn't look too good…” Colton said to himself. “I should-” Before he could utter the word “escape,” he was quickly elbowed in the jaw by Ginger Snap. The pegasus recoiled backwards. “How dare you.”
“How dare you attack a member of royalty!” Ginger Snap shouted back. “You will pay dearly for what you have done, Colton!”
“Maybe you say that,” Colton said, readying himself for battle, “but it shall be you who will pay for disrespecting me!” Colton then charged forward and tried to attack Ginger Snap, but the alicorn princess quickly raised a magical barrier that blocked the attack, causing the impact of Colton's punch to be reflected back through his foreleg and into his body. The pegasus recoiled backwards once again, and Ginger Snap took this opportunity to strike. She opened her combo with a powerful jab to Colton's gut, a windmill kick to the side of his head, a powerful downward kick, and finally, a magical blast that accelerated Colton's fall right into the volcanic hot spring, causing the water to splash all over the place and create an atmosphere of maximum steaminess.
“And that takes care of that,” Ginger Snap said with a smile. She then descended to meet The Black Punisher. “Thank you, Mister Punisher.”
“You are most welcome, Princess,” Punisher replied. “Sadly, however, Colton escaped. I was unable to stop him before he flew away like a coward. But do not worry. With your aid, I am willing to give chase to him.”
“We don't have to give chase,” Ginger Snap said. “I was still in the middle of my volcanic spa day. Care to join me?”
“Certainly,” The Black Punisher said as the two walked through the steam and into the volcanic water, where the two relaxed and talked about politics for four hours.
