    It was just a normal average day, when I was practicing my stunts, like I usually do in my spare time. There wasn't a cloud in the sky (thanks to yours truly) and it was a nice peaceful afternoon. Just perfect for flying. When suddenly I see Twilight on the ground waving me down. 
"One sec!" I yell, flying down and landing gracefully on my hooves. 

"What's up egghead?" I ask. She rubs a hoof behind her head. 
"Well since I had my princess duties to attend to, I haven't got much air or exercise lately. I was wondering if maybe we could hang out together or something? I know you always fly around Ponyville, practicing your stunts and all that, I was just wondering if I could join you?" The purple alicorn asked hopefully.

"Well sure I guess. But it's not everyday we just hang out together." I answer awkwardly. I think for a moment tapping a hoof to my chin when I get an idea. I smirk. "Well I got a good way for you to stretch those wings of yours." I say, showing off my wings. "How 'bout a race? I know you won't stand a chance," I brag, looking for dirt on my hoof. "but I'm all for helping a friend!"

"Well it's been awhile since I've flown, and I've never flown in a race before..." She pondered. "But I'll give it a shot!" She determinedly shouts. "Alright!" I cheer. "How about first to my house wins!" 
"But isn't that on the other side of Ponyville?" She asks, eyebrow up. 
"Well duh. Wouldn't be much of a race if the goal was close to us." I blank. 
"Oh, I guess that's true!" She laughs. 
I facehoof, shaking my head. "Egghead..." 

We both get in a starting position. I start the countdown eager to leave her in my dust. "3..2..-" I look over at her, only to see a look of total concentration on her face. Not like it will help her or anything. "-1.......GO!" I yell. We both take off with a tremendous start.

'I had to give it to her, she was keeping up pretty well. I guess I'll stop going eas- huh?' I look forward only to see her gaining speed like it was nothing. Her mane flowing behind her violently. I speed up but she just speeds up too. Still ahead of me. 'That's weird' I think to myself 'She's never flown like this before. I think I've played around long enough though. Time to go full speed!' 

I started pumping my wings as fast as they would let me. I was fast enough to even make a Sonic Rainboom. I laughed and looked behind me to look at a shocked Twilight Sparkle, but couldn't see her. 'I guess I'm faster than I thought' I think smugly only to face forward and STILL see her ahead of me.

'Wah? That's not POSSIBLE! How is she STILL faster than me!?' I internally scream. I then noticed her getting faster, and faster, and faster, until a cone shaped around her upper body. 'No....' Its started to getting thinner by the second. Until a I heard and saw the 2 shade purple BOOM shake the skies.

'Twilight, the shut in princess that does nothing but read all day. Just did a Sonic Rainboom.' I thought unbelievably. 'Or Sonic Sparkleboom or whatever.' As I could do nothing but stare at the now faster than sound, alicorn zooming ahead of me. All I could mutter with wide eyes was. "I just lost a race.... To Twilight...."

I arrive at my house a bit later only to see a smile on Twilight as she waiting for me. "I know you wanted to be a good friend and everything, but that doesn't mean you have to go easy on me." I was astonished. 
'Did she really JUST say that after that performance? She did Sonic WHATEVERboom for Celestia's sake!' 

Just as I was about to say something. I was interrupted by... the WONDERBOLTS!? Spitfire flew up to Twilight along with Soarin. 
"Hey, we saw that race, and we gotta admit, you flew like a true champ!" Spitfire compliments Twilight. 
"Yeah! That Sonic SparkleBoom was AWESOME!" Soarin chimes in, hoof pumping the air. 
'Great. It ALREADY has a name.'

"We were SO impressed that we wanted to ask you if you want to be a part of the WonderBolts? You get to fly and show off your moves like you did today, to thousands of other ponies. You interested?" I hung my mouth open almost hitting the ground. And we were 30 ft up in the AIR! 

"WHAT!?" I scream, voice cracking. What I've been training my WHOLE life for... Twilight got after one race.

"Well I don't know, I got Princess duty and everything and-" She was cut off by Spitfire. 
"Don't worry about that! We can have somepony do that for you!" She offers cheerfully. 
"Well okay I guess, I think that it will be fun!" She then looks over Spitfire and Soarin with a big smile on her face. "Make sure you and the girls come watch my performances okay Rainbow?" 
"I....I...." I then screamed as loud as I could. 

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-"

I shot up in bed panting and sweating. "It was... A dream?" I ask myself, giving my body a reassuring look. I then look around my room looking at all the WonderBolt posters. But I see Twilight in EVERY single one of them wearing the uniform. I then hear noise near my window. I look outside and see Twilight fly in my room, wearing a huge smile on her face. "Guess what Rainbow? I just got promoted to captain of the WonderBolts! Isn't that awesome?" She exclaimed.

"NNNNOOOOOO!!" I scream, bolting up from bed again. I pant, horrified from my most recent dream. Who wouldn't? I had to know if this was a dream or not too. 

I jumped out of bed and flew over to Twilight’s castle as fast as I could. I barged in the castle, and flew all over the castle looking for her. I then found her and Spike reading in the chill out room, or whatever she calls it.

"Twilight!" I shout, dashing over to her only inches from her face. She screams reeling back in surprise, only to see that it's me. 
"R-Rainbow Dash!? What are you doing?" She sees the look of alarm on my face. 
"Are you a Wonderbolt!?" I asked her, in great desperation.

"Why would I be a WonderBolt? First of all I'm a princess so I can't, and Second of all I'-" I storm over to her bumping foreheads together, and give her a piercing stare. 
"Just. Answer. The. Question. Are you a Wonderbolt?"
"N-no?" She squeaks, making it sound more like a question, than an answer.

"PHEW!" I sigh loudly, sitting back on my haunches. 
"Rainbow, just what is going on?" She exasperatedly asked me. I then told her about my double dream. 

"HAHAHAHAHA!" Spike laughs so hard I swear milk was gonna spurt out of his nose, even though he wasn't drinking anything. 
"That's just stupid Rainbow." He replies after his laughing fit. "We all know that Twilight SUCKS at flying." The dragon retorts, earning a magic slap from Twilight, and a giggle from me. 
"Hey! I'm not that bad! I'm getting better..." 
"Well I'm just glad that it's over now." I say, still feeling relieved that everything is normal now. For a second there, I thought I saw Twilight give me a funny look. 

"Well, uh. See you guys later!" I call flying out the window. For some strange reason though, instead of flying around I felt like talking a walk through Ponyville. Only a few minutes later did I find Fluttershy shopping in the food district. I walk up to her. "Oh hey Fluttershy, how's it hangin'?"

She turns around. "Oh Rainbow! I've been wondering where you were!" She smiles. I see a weird gleam in her eye though. "I'll be finished soon so wait a minute okay?"

A few minutes later, she finished her shopping and turned back to me. "Ok let's go." She trots off. I follow her about to ask where we were headed. When she interrupts. "My you're pretty eager today huh?" She says to me with a sly grin. 
"I... What?" I respond, clearly confused by what she meant by that.

She didn't answer me and just continued to walk. This trail felt familiar so I guessed we were heading back to her cottage. But as we were walking, where ever I looked I saw ponies whispering things to each other while looking at us. 'Guess they finally realized how awesome I am and can't stop talking about me.' I thought in victory. But that was short lived after I saw the weird look in their eyes.

It was the same eyes that Twilight gave me. "Okay..." I mumble. "Fluttershy what is going on?" She looks back at me. 
"Oh Rainbow. You out of EVERYpony should know." She replied, still with that sly grin on her face. Before I could even think about what she meant by that, we arrived at her cottage.

We walked in and she went in the kitchen to put her things away. She walked back in smiling and walking close to me whispering in my ear. "Shall we go to the bedroom?" I think I figured out what was going on. I blushed furiously. 
'Fluttershy I-' 
"Yes master." I say instead. 'What did I say!? And did I just call her master!?'

She then gave a satisfied chuckle and nipped my ear. Against my own will I followed her up the stairs. We walk in her room and I find...... No wonder everypony was looking at us weird. Everything was too.... Indecent to explain. I couldn't keep my mind together. I looked over at Fluttershy who now had a WHIP in her hooves. 
"Who's my little pony?" She asked, as she whipped my cutie mark. 
"I am!" I shout. 'WHAT AM I SAYING!?' 
"That's it. Come here little filly." She hotly orders. I started walking forwards when... 

I open my eyes.

I groan rubbing my head and leaning up. "What happened?" To answer my question I blushed a bit. "I don't think I'll Ever look at Fluttershy the same way again." I chuckled. "Oh my Celestia that was weird. I knew I shouldn't of had a snack before bed."

I get out of bed getting ready for my day... Again. After I was done, I flew out of my house to start doing my cloud duty. It was supposed to be a bit cloudy today, so there was a lot of cloud moving involved. Cloud busting is easy, but moving them took a lot more work.

A couple hours passed when me and the late pair of pegasi were finally finished. Afterwards I decided that since I didn't have anything better to do, I would just relax and fly around Ponyville for a bit. I'm pretty sure my friends said they were all busy today, so I just had some me time.

Rarity did say that it was spa day for her and Fluttershy, and requested that I join them after saying; 
"Oh darling it is simply a delight! They give you a mud bath, a massage, they shine your hooves-" I stopped her after she mentioned the hooves. 'No one touches my hooves. They're perfect as is.' I brag in my head, looking down at the beautiful things. 

All that was interrupted though when all of the sudden a pink cloud smacked me. "Ugh!" I groan with disgust, not expecting that. "Wait... Is this... cotton candy?" Something snaps in my head. "Discord! I knew we shouldn't have trusted him!"  I scowl. 

After getting free and dodging a pink cloud occasionally, I look down to see the town in udder chaos. With discord sitting in the centre of it all. I fly towards my friends who have gotten there before me and land on the ground behind them. Twilight was already in an argument with the large draconequus.

"DISCORD STOP THIS NOW!" She shouted. Discord just laughs. 
"Ha! What could you do? Now that the elements are gone, what is a measly PRINCESS and her FRIENDS gonna do?" He answered, emphasizing "princess" and "friends" with a girly voice. 
"THIS!" I shouted flying at him at full speed giving my best war cry. 
"Oh please." He sighs snapping his fingers. I start to lose momentum and land on the ground with a heavy *THUD*.

I looked back and my wings were gone! I got up and started charging at him again. "Give my wings back!" I scream, only to be tugged back by Twilights magic. She didn't seem to pay me any mind though. She had a confident grin on her face. 
"Just because we aren't the elements of harmony anymore. Doesn't mean we can't use it's magic." This seemed to peak Discords interest. "Oh?" He asked her, deciding to call her bluff. "And how so?" 

Twilight then levitated an amulet in front of her. "With this!" 
"Oh and what's that going to do? Make me look pretty?" He asked fluttering his eyes and making Applejack and I scowl.
Though Twilight looked calm. 
"Before the magic from the chest wore off. I transferred some of it into this amulet just in case of an emergency!" She replies, slipping the amulet around her. She then began to glow and suddenly a familiar rainbow beam shot out of her heading straight for discord. 

"no. No.NO! NNOOOO!" He screams being enveloped in the beam. He then is reduced to a stone statue again. Though everything was still in chaos, Discord was finally fossilized. 
'Ha. Fossilized.' I then looked back excited to get my wings back. But... They weren't there.

"What?" I panic. All my friends look back to me. "My Wings! They're still gone! They should have come back!" I look at Twilight, a pleading look in my eyes. "Twilight, please help me! Why aren't my wings coming back?" Twilight then gave me the heart sinking news. 
"Even though I trapped Discord in a state of suspended animation his magic can't be reversed unless a magic greater than his can counter it." "Suspended animation?" I ask her.

"Basically just frozen in time." Spike answers with a shrug. 
"Anyways," Twilight continues, glaring at Spike, who just answers her with an innocent look. "if a spell is cast, the only way to stop that spell is if the caster stops it, dies, or a magic greater can counter it." 
"Great, then you can counter his spells and return everything to normal right? Then I can get my wings back!" She looks away.

"You can... Can't you?" I ask hope fading away. 
"Well the only way we could stop Discord before was because of the elements, and I could only stop him now because I had some leftover magic from the chest. But it's all gone now."

She looked me in the eyes. "Discord’s magic is simply too rare and powerful to counter, and so the only thing we can do is just accept it." She sighs looking around the town, still seeing chaos rain about. 
"No this... This can't be happening... So I will never fly again?" I ask tears welling in my eyes. But already knew the answer. 

"...No..."

I gasp sitting up in bed. "Oh COME ON!" I shout, realizing it was a dream again. Although I was glad it was over, this was getting tiring. "You know what? I don't care anymore. I don't care if this is real OR a dream." 

I get out of bed and fly to Ponyville I start laughing madly crashing into everything, breaking everything, destroying everything I saw. "I JUST DON'T CARE ANYMORE!" I Laugh. All you saw in my wake was disaster. It doesn't matter though. It was just a DREAM. But something caught me off guard.

"RAINBOW STOP!" I heard somepony yell. Applejack came out of nowhere and tackled me to the ground. And it hurt pretty badly too. I thought you don't feel pain in dreams. "What 'n the world of Equestria are you doin' here!?" Still not giving a crap about anything anymore, I punch Applejack and shove her off me. I look down to see blood spilling from her nose. It didn't matter though. She wasn't real anyway.

I then continue my destruction through town. It didn't matter! I could do whatever I wanted! I was picked up in a magic bubble though which put a stop to my rampage. 
"RAINBOW STOP THIS RIGHT NOW!" Twilight shouted all our friends minus Applejack beside her. "Rainbow, I hate to do this but I'm putting you behind bars!" I laughed. 
"It doesn't matter! I'm just going to wake up anyway!"

"She is still mad Twilight! Don't listen to her!" Pinkie pleaded. 
"Don't worry, I won't." Twilight reassured. 

It seemed like a moment passed before I was thrown in a cell in Canterlot. Apparently I was dangerous enough to be sent to the most secure jail in all of Equestria. I didn't care though.
Still outraged, I punch and kick the walls finding that each kick and punch hurt a lot. "I don't get it. Why does this hurt? It's just a dream." Deciding that rampaging wasn't going to get me anywhere I sat in my cell waiting.

Eventually after HOURS of waiting that stupid alicorn from before arrived in front of me. "You're coming with me Rainbow Dash." She said holding back a grimace. 
"Sure whatever." I reply boredly. The guards unlocked the cell and Twilight carried me back out with her bubble. Figured the only way to keep me from escaping was to keep me in this stupid thing.

We arrived in Celestia's throne room, with Luna standing beside her. 
"Rainbow Dash." Celestia declared. I roll my eyes. "After what Princess Twilight has told us. You have committed countless crimes. But the one that stuck out most was Murder." 

I paused at that. 
'Murder?' My heart sank. 'Even if this was a dream. Why does my chest hurt so badly?' She continued though. 
"After generations of nothing but peace and harmony, not one pony was murdered in all that time. But today Rainbow Dash. You broke that peace by not only killing one pony but five, in your reckless rampage." 
'FIVE!? This can't be!' 

"I have no other choice but to sentence you," 
'I don't care if this is a dream or not anymore! I couldn't killed anypony! I was just breaking things that's it!' 
"to death." She finished, making me cringe at the "death" part. Shocked I looked down, and saw a tear appear out of Twilight's eye, running down her pain stricken face. 
"Why did you do it Rainbow Dash?" She pleaded to me. 

I couldn't utter a single word. I was frozen with fear. Not only was I going to die, but I saw one of my best friends crying before me. I have never seen Twilight like this before, and it just hurt looking at her in that state.

"Twilight I-" I started but was interrupted. 
"Guards take her to the grounds." Luna ordered. Twilight released the bubble. I fell on the ground but still couldn't move. 
"Twilight I didn't mean too!" I cried. "I thought this was just a dream! Trust me! You have to believe me Twilight!" I pleaded again and again. 

But she just ignored me.

The guards picked me up and brought me to the courtyard, where I saw a guillotine in front of what seemed to be half of Canterlot. 
"No... This can't be happening..." my head was placed in a small hole at the bottom. I looked to my left and saw a lever with a pony in a black mask with his hoof over top of it. I looked down and saw all my friends. They were all crying. It was the worst pain in my life just looking at them cry like that.

I heard the lever being pulled, and the *schwing* of the blade heading down at blinding speed. But just before it could do what it was created for. 

I woke up.

I shot up again gasping, but this time my bed felt different. I looked over and saw Twilight sitting beside me with a clip board writing something down. Beside the purple pony was a bouncing pink one. 
"Dashie you're finally awake!" Pinkie Pie cheered hooves in the air. 

Twilight looked up. "Ah so you are! Well? Did it work?" I look between both of them. 
"I-is this real?" I asked them. 
"Of course it is silly!" Pinkie replied hugging me. "Doesn’t this hug feel real?" 
"Yeah... Yeah it does!" I yell excitedly hugging Pinkie back. After Pinkie released me, I realized that this might not be a dream after all. 
"So did it work?" Twilight repeated with a quizzical look. 
"Did what work?"I ask her with a huge smile. 
"The potion! Did you have any nightmares?" 
"Can you explain everything again?" I ask her, happy smile replaced with a sheepish one. "I kinda forgot.”

"Ugh." She sighs. She then explained to me that she wanted to try to create a potion to stop ponies from having nightmares. Twilight wanted to make Luna's job easier because after what happened with everypony in Ponyville a couple weeks ago, with the massive dream thing that happend that almost ruined the world, Twilight realized that dealing with every ponies dreams are pretty tiring.
'It felt tiring just listening her explain all that.'

"So, because I knew you slept all the time I thought that there couldn't be a better pony to try this potion out on!" She finished with a huge grin. "So tell me everything that happened in your dream." 

I told her everything that happen from the first dream, to my most recent one. It took a while for her to answer though, but all the while, her quill was moving at lightning speed over her clip board.
"But what I don't get is why I felt pain in my last dream." I asked. She finished writing down a few notes before answering my question. 
"That was probably Pinkie. She wanted you to wake up so she started jumping on you." She drawled, looking over to a laughing Pinkie Pie. 

I rubbed my chest. 'No wonder everything hurt so badly.' 
"From the looks of it though..." Twilight continued, reviewed her notes again. "It look like it had the opposite effect from which it was attended." I saw a thoughtful look on her face though. I decided to take it as a bad sign. 
"Please don't make me go through that again!" I yelled in panic jumping out of the bed.

"Calm down Rainbow Dash I'm not going to." She waved her hoof at me. A reassuring sigh escaped my mouth. 

"But there is one more thing I wanted you to try. I've been working on it for a couple months, and I think it's finally done." 
"W-What is it?" I stammered. 
"It's a potion that will improve the brainpower of anypony who drinks it." She brightly smiles. 

"Uh oh."
