> Sisterhood: Fillies and Princess' > by Kirito-Persona > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > The only chapter: Sisters > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Life was pretty simple for most Ponies. Thanks to their cutie marks, they knew from foal hood what their role in life would be. As such, there was no need for worrying about their futures, since they all knew what their destiny was. "Alright Crusaders, let's get today's meetin started!" But then, not everypony was that carefree. In their younger years, most foals were unaware of what their path in life was. For them, it was a stressful search, riddled with adventure, wonderment, and boredom all at once. Though, some of them were more eager to find their cutie marks then others. "Now then, Cutie Mark Crusader roll call! YAY!" A trio of voices echoed from a small tree house. The nearby apple tree's shaking a bit from the volume. Even the polished wood vibrated from the shock, happily standing sturdy against the strain. Inside, said trio was sitting about, excited smiles on their faces. "Applebloom, present!" A yellow earth pony raised her hoof. Her pink bow meshing well with her messy red mane. She had an excited smile on her face, as she stood up on her tippy hooves to peer over her tiny pedestal. As her position on the pedestal suggested, she was the leader of the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Doing whatever it took to make sure she and her friends got their cutie marks. "Scootaloo, ready to earn her cutie mark!" An orange Pegasus shot her hoof up triumphantly. Her tiny wings and purple mane contrasting with the dull brown walls. She had a determined expression on her face, and a helmet on her head, making her extra ready for crusading. She was the daredevil of the group, always having the most extreme ideas on how to earn their cutie marks, along with the courage to get things done. "Sweetie Belle, also ready and present!" A squeaky voice echoed from the other side. This one coming from a white unicorn with a stylish pink and purple mane. She was bouncing up and down, excitement plastered on her face. She was the speaker of the group, the compromiser, and filly who had the most ideas, be they good or the worst possible things ever. "Cutie Mark Crusaders, YAY!" The three cheered in sync. The tree house shook once again, though none of them noticed. All three of them sat down, each one fidgeting impatiently. "So, what are we gonna do today Crusaders?" Applebloom asked with an excited grin. Scootaloo sat up with a daredevil grin as she trotted up to the front of the room. "I have a plan my fellow crusaders!" "Does it involve more birds Scootaloo?...Cause Rarity wasn't all to happy when we threw them into her work room." "No Sweetie Belle, it's not bird throwing again... And besides, I had no idea they were angry birds..." Scootaloo said with a sheepish expression. "But no, today we're gonna do something even MORE awesome!" She shot up, raising her hooves in triumph. "Yah! That sounds great Scootaloo, and ah don't even know what it is yet!" Applebloom added with a squeak. "Yay! Though, I have to ask why you like doing so many extreme things Scootaloo..." Sweetie Belle looked down with a sheepish smile. "Because it's awesome Sweetie Belle!" Scootaloo grinned. "Plus, just imagine how cool we'd look if Rainbow Dash saw us!" She said, hopping up and down like she was on a sugar high. Applebloom and Sweetie Belle blinked as she did so. "Umm...Why would it have to be Rainbow Dash? Wouldn't it be cool if Rarity saw us looking cool?" Sweetie asked with an excited smile. "Well yeah, sure, but she's not-" "Applejack?" Applebloom asked with her own childish grin "No, Rainbow Dash! Duh." Scootaloo groaned, pulling out a picture. The framed image featuring a blue Pegasus pulling off a legendary Sonic Rainboom. Her rainbow mane flapping in the breeze along with a cocky grin. "She's the best ever!" "Na-uh!" Applebloom grunted and pulled out her own photograph. This one featured a strong orange earth pony kicking an apple tree. Her blond ponytail flickering under her stetson hat as fruit fell into a bucket. "Applejack is the best!" "Wrong! It's Rarity!" Sweetie Belle huffed, pulling her one photo out from her satchel. This time it showed a white unicorn wearing a fancy gown. Her purple mane stylized to perfection and a gleam in her eyes from the camera shot. "She's better then Rainbow Dash AND Applejack!" "NO WAY! Rainbow Dash is the most amazing, most radical pony in all of Equestria!" Scootaloo countered, pointing at her photograph. "She pulled off a Sonic Rainboom! Most ponies didn't think it was real, but Dash pulled it off! Forever cementing just how awesome she was!" "Yeah?! Well mah big sister harvested an entire orchard half, BY HERSELF!" Applebloom shouted in response. "She nearly killed half the town with her cupcakes!" Sweetie squeaked. "And besides, RARITY made all her friends, including those two, with absolutely gorgeous dresses!" "That's not awesome though! Dresses are lame, Dash isn't lame!" Scootaloo stuck her tongue out. Sweetie Belle fumed and got up in a rage, Scootaloo doing much the same. Apple bloom put herself between the two in an effort to play peacekeeper. "Knock it off! Fightin won't get ya anywhere, we're friends!" The two in question blinked, bringing their hooves to their sides slowly. The two of them having sheepish expressions all the while, Applebloom nodded once they had breathed a bit. "Good, now apologize." "...Sorry about that, Scootaloo." Sweetie Belle said after a few minutes, sheepishly rubbing her mane. "Yeah, sorry Sweetie Belle." Scootaloo replied, sighing in frustration. Applebloom smiled and nodded in content. "See, fightins pointless. Besides, like ah said, Applejack is the bestest sister ever." She said in a matter of fact tone. That did it, her two friends tackled her to the ground. The three's bickering now kicking up a massive dust cloud as hooves flew about in an effort to connect with their opponents. "Rarity-OOFH! Is the best sister ever! She ran in the Sisterhooves Social with m-GAK!" "Applejack and ah-OWW! Do that every year! And unlike you two, we've WON!" "Please! Dash and I are so tight-AH! She and I don't NEED blood to be sisters!" Scootaloo huffed. "MY SISTER IS THE BEST!" The three of them shouted, the noise echoing across the apple orchard. The fighting continued for a while, none of them giving up. "MAH SISTER IS THE BEST!" "NO! DASH!" "RARITY!" "ENOUGH!" A mature voice boomed from the entrance. The three fillies stopped fighting immediately, becoming trapped in a freeze frame. The trio looked to the door to see a black and blue Alicorn giving a bemused expression. Her moon cutie mark gleaming a bit under the sunlight. "Princess Luna!" The three's eyes went wide. They fell from their freeze frame and quickly stood up, Luna maintaining her bemused expression. The three gave a nervous look, unsure of what the princess of the night wanted. "Thank you, now then, I was dropping by Ponyville for a lunch with Twilight and the other elements." Luna explained, trotting towards the three. "BUT THEN WE HEARD THY BICKERING UPON OUR FLIGHT INTO TOWN!!!" She shouted, making the CMC shake violently. "W-We're sorry Princess Luna!" The three shouted, trying their best to hold onto something. Scootaloo grabbing the wall, Applebloom the podium, and Sweetie Belle her old plushy. "YOU...Are forgiven." Luna giggled, the shaking starting to stop. The three of them let go of everything, Sweetie Belle hiding her Rarity plushy before anyone else saw it. Luna trotted to the front of the room, ready to once again use the Royal Canterlot Voice if the need arose. "Now then, tell me my little fillies, what were you all fighting about?" "Well...We were, kinda....Talking about who had the best sister between the three of us..." Sweetie Belle admitted sheepishly. Luna blinked a few times, setting herself down on the floor. She crossed her hooves and rested her muzzle on them, sighing before looking up at the three. "My little fillies...You shouldn't be fighting about that sort of thing. All three of your older sisters are wonderful individuals, and your all so blessed to have them, aren't you?" She asked, her eyes narrowing a bit. The crusaders went wide eyed, before nodding in agreement. "Yeah, ah guess yer right Princess..." "I guess we are pretty lucky.." Scootaloo rubbed the back of her neck. "Sorry Princess Luna..." Sweetie Belle said with a sheepish expression. Luna nodded and smiled, rubbing each of them on the head. "You're welcome my little fillies, I do know the feeling though." Luna rested on her hooves. "I too have had disagreements over how wonderful my own sister is." The three went wide eyed when those words left Luna's lips. They dashed up to her, excitement in their eyes. "Ya love yer big sis too, Princess Luna?!" Applebloom squeaked in excitement. Luna blinked, nodding slowly at their inquisitive eyes. "Well of course I do! Celestia and I ar-" "Do you two have any good memories!?" "Did ya ever participate in the sisterhooves social!?" "Did she teach you to fly?!" "Errmmm..." Luna started sweating as the three swarmed her. "None of that is important!" Luna huffed, hoping to avoid any of the more embarrassing stories about her and Celestia. "Awwwwww!" The girls cried, Luna giving a serious look in response. Their lips dropped, eyes watering up, ears flopping side to side. They had activated pout mode, the worst enemy of any Princess! Luna bit her lip, trying her hardest to resist their mighty pouting. She turned her face away in an effort to resist, but they scooted over to face her again. She struggled and closed her eyes, but it didn't work, nothing would. "PWEEEEAAASSSSEEE!" They whined. Luna winced, her weak point being hit... Whining. Nothing was worse than whining to Luna. Especially when it came to adorable little fillies. She twitched her nose a few times, and struggled not to face the cute onslaught in front of her... She failed. "DAH! FINE! I shall tell you all of me and Celli's life together!" Luna begged. "Just make it stop, MAKE IT STOPPPP!" "YAY!" The three stopped their pouting, and trotted around Luna with wide smiles. "Cutie Mark Crusader story time! YAY!" Luna sighed and rubbed her temples with her hooves. She sat herself down, fidgeting back into a comfortable position. The three sat themselves down, looking up at her with a wide smile. She blinked a few times, before opening her mouth in preparation for the day ahead. "Well, it all started when we were very small....Celli was so goofy back then! With her cake and pranks...Of course that didn't always work in her favor..." *************************** "And then what happened?!" Sweetie Belle squeaked, the sun having set hours ago. The three fillies now cuddling up to her with rapt attention. Luna smiled down at them, looking out to the moon as it gleamed through the windows. "And then, she fell on her face during the parade!" Luna whispered, making the three crack up with laughter. She herself snorting with half contained laughter. After doing this for a bit, Applebloom let out a long drawn out yawn, her friends reacting similarly. Luna's wide grin turning into a soft smile as she stood back up. "That's a nice story...Princess Luna..." Sweetie Belle said, wobbling on her hooves a bit. "Yeah....Tell us more Princess...About you and your sister..." Scootaloo said, with heavy eyelids. Luna giggled a bit, shaking her head. "I'm sorry, but you three are too tired right now." "No we're not!...." The three of them yawned in protest, their mouths hanging low from exhaustion at this point. Luna just chuckled some more, using her magic to pull the curtains on the window. "Tis alright for you all to sleep, I can stay in the waking realm and keep you safe." Luna smiled, letting their eyelids droop a bit more. "B-But Rarity..." Sweetie smacked her lips. "I need to get...hooommmeeee..." She dropped to the floor. "Ah gotta reach...." Applebloom did the same, her head resting on Luna's hooves. "Ca-Can't..." Scootaloo didn't even finish, hitting the floor with a loud yawn. Luna blinked, pulling them to her body. Adjusting herself, she used her wing as a blanket, and let the three use her hooves as a nice pillow. The three yawned a little more, smacking their lips as Luna gave a soft smile. She used a bit of magic to dampen the noise outside, making the clubhouse 100% sleep ready. After a few seconds, she began to hum a lullaby, it's soft words swaying the fillies further to sleep. "Drift away, to a happy place Forget the troubles of the day... Take them out, and shove them in a case... For now, asleep you lay..." "Having fun sister?" Luna turned her head and gave a shush motion. "Quiet Celi, you'll wake them..." Sweetie snored in response, eliciting a giggle from the white Alicorn standing by the door. "I wouldn't laugh dear sister, she's not the only one." "...I thought you said I didn't anymore!" Celestia huffed, shaking her wings a bit. She quietly made her way to Luna and sat herself down. "Their sisters we're worried, Rarity went on and on about her sisters safety. You owe me for calming them all down, Lu Lu." Luna's face heated up, giving her sister a glare at the same time. "You know I hate that nickname!" She hissed, careful not to wake the three up. Celestia just smirked in response, playfully bopping her sisters head. "That's not what you said when I gave it to you." "I was a filly back then! I'm a big girl now, Celli!" Celestia for her part just giggled and rested on her hooves, a small smile on her face. "I know, but to me, You're always gonna be my baby sister, Lu Lu." Luna huffed a bit, but she finally stopped and turned her attention back to the three by her side. "You know, we really should get them home Lu Lu. You have work to do after all." Luna looked at Celestia, a pout on her muzzle. "Awww, five more minutes sister! They feel so warm..." She whimpered a little, Celestia however, stood tall and firm. "You know that trick won't work on me sister, it hasn't worked since you were a child." "Party pooper." Luna huffed, using her magic to lift the three onto her backside. Celestia just sighed and walked out with her, gently shutting the door as they exited. "Sister, I'd like to take the day off again soon, I promised to continue telling them a story." Celestia nodded, stretching her wings a bit in preparation. "That would be acceptable, I can speak with the court tomorrow about a future appointment." "Thank you sister, I'll see these three back home now." Luna smiled in response. Celestia nodded and got ready to head back home, but just then.. "Ahhh....Cake head..." Scootaloo snorted. The two Alicorns froze, Celestia narrowing her eyes at Luna, who looked away quickly. "Did she just say...You didn't." Celestia glared. "Didn't what, dear sister?" Luna asked, sweat dripping down her face. "I thought we agreed to never share that story!" Celestia hissed, getting right up in Luna's face. Luna responded by dashing away, her wings outstretched, while her magic kept the three in place. Celestia shot after her, a glare on her face. "LU LU YOU GET BACK HERE RIGHT NOW!!!" And so, the chase was on. The two sisters flew through the night, each one determined in their goal. Both of them having a playful smirk on their faces all the while. The kind of smirk that only siblings knew how to wear. END
