> Lord Of Bones > by Grave Walker > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Chapter 1: Some Strange Turn Of Events > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Halloween, the holiday of dressing up all the way from monsters to a pink princess and getting tooth killing candy. And I loved it. My costume was simple and cool. I had the mask from Darksider II that was in perfect condition. I also had a cloak like robes that was home made. It was for some reason made of very thick and durable black as night fabric. It was waterproof and somehow the resident to fire... Over protective mom mode must be on overdrive when she and my sister was working on it. Anyway, didn't look anything like assassin's creed or anything, but had the basic style of it. But back to the story at hand. I had already left at 8:00 PM with my wallet and old Ipod in my costume pockets. I was heading over to meet up with some of my friends until I came across a old house that was two blocks from my neighborhood. It looked like it was in decay and looked so flammable that it could be used as kindle. But what caught my attention was a wooden stand that stood on the house's nuclear apocalyptic lawn. The stand itself was made from old chipped wood with the paint chipping away from age. There was a shady character that seemed to be running the stand. But what confused me was that I had never seen this house in my entire time living here. So out of my own stupid curiosity, I walked over to the stand that looked as if it was about to fall apart. As soon as I crossed the street, I saw that he had realistic props from many thin from games. But what caught my attention was a bunch of Skyrim stuff. Their was a perfect Dragonbone Sword that was long as a greatsword, but was thinner and more one handed type. There were a set of pitch black daedric gauntlets and daedric boots that had glowing red ruins inside of them. There was also two Skyrim magic books. One was a Restoration spell tome and Destruction spell tome, but they both had black leather and gold writing instead of the normal dull yellow and gray. The last thing that attracted my attention was not Skyrim related. It was two Colt M1911 with the Punisher designs on them. The guns look real enough to make me weary of the cloaked figure. "See anything you like?" the man asked in a sinister tone with a slight hint of demonic feel with his words. "Well, I like those daedric gauntlets and boots... but they probably cost more then I have on me." I answered. "Nonsense, I have very reasonable deals. And since you need these relics, I'll throw in the books and the sword. Sound fair?" The man asked, sounding more kindly, but still sounding as if he was a demon. "How much?" I asked out of my curiosity, wondering what ripoff he was going to offer. "Thirty for the gauntlets and boots. The books you'll most definitely need so those are free. But I really love my sword... I'll take twenty-five for the sword since I enchanted and crafted it myself." He said, making my eyes widen when I head the deal. I thought he was charge a hundred just for the sword alone. "How much for the set of guns you have there?" I asked. This time, the figure stepped back in shock for some reason. "My my. You are a born Merchant you know. Usually everyone that I offered would go straight for the deal and be gone in a flash. But you want to see how much you can get out of my deals. For that, I am impressed for not falling under my spell. I'll give you the guns for forty, but that is all I will sell you." he said. I was a bit shocked if he acted. It was as if he was treating me as if I was lower than him and he had some sort of status to say something like that. But I just assumed he was going with his characters, whatever he was trying to be. "Deal." I said, grabbing two fifty dollar bills (which was all I had) and placed them in his gloved hand. I felt a tingling feeling going throughout my body and my eyes felt very droopy. "Have fun." he said so darkly and creepy that my body froze out of pure fear. That was the last thing I heard before collapsing onto the concrete paved sidewalk, instantly blacking out. "Ugggggg. Too much vodka." I moaned, as some of my senses began to return to me slowly. However, not all of them seemed to be right. My body, it felt... Different. Lighter, almost. Slowly rising to my feet, I noticed more changes to my physique, some more noticeable than others. The first thing I noticed, was that I felt a near primal and ancient energy in my body. I felt, stronger and faster than normal. Almost like my reflexes had been upgraded tenfold. As I raised my hands to my head to try and find the cause of the pounding headache I'd developed, I noticed something else. Something that, quite frankly, startled me a bit. My hands or more like my gauntlets had developed more. They had become real! I took off the gauntlets, instantly wishing that I hadn't. My hand was now bleach bone and had a decaying green look to them. My god! My Skin looked like that of a Sith lord's for Christ's sake! My finger were way more nimble and much longer, fitting my daedric gauntlets perfectly. I gave my new fingers an experimental twirl, testing that, they did indeed, work perfectly normal. Satisfied my hands weren't about to fall off, I put my gauntlets back on and began checking along the rest of my new form, patting and prodding through the thick, black robes that draped down to the ground. The cloak seemed to be made of the same type of fabric. But to be honest, it looked even more darker and more durable than before. I checked underneath, checking what I already knew. My entire body was the same bleached bone and had the same decaying effect that my hands had. I felt around, landing my hands on my belt that had an ornate band of silver skulls, each unique and different from the other. But what had my attention was the weight on my left side. The was a real Dragonbone swords sheathed tightly to my robes. I then noticed that I had gun shoulder holsters under the a thin layer of my cloak. The holster itself had skulls that had no copies, each one depicting a different species. In the gun holster, it had two Colt M1911 and- "Oh Shit." I muttered out, sounding way too deep in tone for my age. I still could make cartoon voices at the age of 16 and a half, but now I sounded like I was in my twenty's. And man, I sounded like a badass. I shook my head, then noticing the two books that I got from the Creep that were at my feet. I intensively bent down and picked up the Destruction book and opened it without a care. I was the frozen in place, unable to move any part of my body. Then an odd sensation began filling my head and I as soon as it came, it vanished. I felt as if I had been in a classroom for over a year, learning nothing but one subject. Destruction Magic. I looked at my hands to find that the book was gone. "Just like the game." I said to myself. I stretched my arm out, giving a twirl with my nimble fingers and a spark of lightning revealed itself on the palm of my hand. The spark grew to a baseball sized orb. I tightly gripped the electric blue ball and shot my arm straight at a nearby tree. The tree was instantly obliterated into burning bark sized bits. "Awesome!" I said with amazement. I began to calm down from my excitement and began to take in my surroundings, noticing for the first time that I was actually in a forest. A forest that somehow looked... oddly familiar. "Where have I seen this place before?" I asked myself mentally. Suddenly, I heard a low, rumbling growl from behind me. Peering over my shoulder, not quite turning, I saw a large wolf shape creature. Its whole body seemed to be a timber frame; a radioactive sap like green energy was coming from its eyes as it stared right at me. Without warning, the wolf pounced; aiming straight for what it thought, was an undefended part of my body. Acting purely on instinct, I whirled around, with lighting still in hand. I lined my heads with the creature's body and shot multiple strands of lightning from my fingertips, Darth Sidious style. The creature was shot back a few meters in mid air and multiple parts of it's body had boiled to the point of exploding in green sap like goo. After it exploded, there remained was the leftovers of a corpse that was burned to an crumbly ashy wood that was held together by some chunks of green goo. Then, all of it's green goo that had been splattered everywhere, began to turn to thick steamy smoke and began to rise and flow into my gauntlets like a vacuum cleaner. I then began to feel memories not of my own fill my head. There I was, running through the grass, wind blowing through my leaves as I chased rabbits. I could smell their acrid fear as they tried to dodge me. Then the sensation of catching one, sweet sweet blood splashing all over my muzzle and down my throat. The last squeal of despair as I crunched down on the tasty treat in my fang filled mouth. Sharing the pack tunnel with other wolves, listening to their stories about the other creatures in the woods. Knowing where the pack boundaries were. No timberwolf pack likes to fight another if there is no reason. I returned to myself with intimate knowledge of the forest. I knew every hollow and cave like I had lived there for years. To be honest, this whole thing felt exhilarating. "That’s… different." Taking a final glance at the pile of ash wooden corpse, my eyes, flashed, showing to me the wolf’s memories. Including an intricate knowledge of the forest. I gave a rough chuckle, impressed by my own power. I picked up the Restoration book and began to wander my new home. > Chapter 2: Encountering The Gay Locals > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Okay, Let's get one thing straight. Wondering is boring. I have been in the unknown forest for a while now, mostly exploring the area and finding some water to drink. Anyway, as I wondered, I had found a small pond and got a real good look at my face. It was the same face that I was born with, except I was more rough on the edges and I appeared like a cruel and sinister man. My eyes on the other head were a light shade of red instead of being blue and my skin tone still had the decaying look. I had enough water to drink and set forth on the trail again, hoping to find some civilization. As I walked, I began thinking on my situation. "Okay, I have all knowledge over Destruction and Restoration magic from Skyrim, everything the I’ve bought from that creep is real, I look like corpse that’s been in a freezer for a week, my eyes are freaking red, I've been lost in this forest for god knows how long… Oh god! Mom’s going to kill me when I get back… That is if I’m not already dead… Damn it!" I kept walking down the narrow path, getting more frustrated by the minute. "I don’t even know that I’m on earth anymore… I’ve never seen a wolf made out of radioactive sap and lumber. But where have I seen this fucking forest before! It like it’s freaking laughing at me! Okay. I just need to calm down and get out before dark." I thought as I took a few deep breaths to calm myself. I then set my survival mode into action, watching out for the unknown and ready to make the fight or flight decisions quick. I walked at a steady pace as the sky slowly darkened, giving hints of the wondrous night sky it had to offer. I soon began to notice that the trees began to be less thick and a clearing was in sight. "Yes!" I said to myself happily as I jogged out of these freaking woods. But As I got out of the clearing, I was greeted with a fork in the road. I noticed a thin trail of smoke rising to the left, so I took the left without a another thought. I walked a bit faster, eager to find someone until I found a cottage that looked like to belong to a hobbit that was a nature nut. Literally. I mean, every possible place to put a bird house is there and more. It even has a little clear stream guarding it with a stone bridge going over it. But what was creeping me out was the fact that it look so peaceful, that it just felt totally out of place in some way. But I destroyed that thought in hope of finding someone to help me. I walked over to the house gave a light knock on the door. "Coming!" said someone in a sweet and shy voice. Then a moment later, the door opened, revealing a creature unlike anything I had ever seen. It looked like a very small butter yellow horse with a short mussel, huge eyes, and a light pink mane and tail. The light pink mane and tail were long and had a little curve at the end. It's face was similar to a horse, but for some reason, it resembled human like expressions. And when I say it's eye are huge, I mean the size of big dinner plates! It's eye color was turquoise and I also noticed traumatizing fear in them. Then suddenly, the oak door slammed shut and a low scream could be heard. Then a bright yellow and pink blur went flying through one of the windows and into the sky. "Wait... What." I said confused ever more. I shook my head as I began to retrace my steps. As soon as I did that, realization hit me like a ton of bricks. "I.. No... Can't. I'm in a FUCKING CARTOON!!!" I roared in anger, scaring an entire flock of bird. "I knew that I had recognized that thing from Susie's fucking cartoon. I believe her name was shy something. Damn it! I'm in a motherfucking my little pony cartoon! Wait..." I thought as began to analyze that facts of my situation. "I'm in a land of innocent little magical ponies that is ruled by two princess. Their most likely no way back to go home and I'm stuck in this fucking place." I said, then beginning to have a blurry vision. I was... King... No I was a Emperor... No.... I was a God. And I... I was ruling the world... No, I was conquering something, something evil... I was opening cages of dogs, cats, and birds? Then the vision began to disappear. "What the hell was that? I... a God?" I thought, trying to calm myself down from this make believe fantasy. I then began retracing my steps and try to find a way to this Ponyville if I remembered correctly. -Third Point Of View- It was a peaceful late morning in the Ponyville. Ponies were doing their daily business such as shopping and working. But if you go down south you'll pass by a house like cottage that was on the outskirts of Ponyville. The small cottage bordered near the Everfree Forest and in that cottage was a pegasus that went by the name of Fluttershy. She at the moment was have some brunch with a bunny named Angel, the two mannerly began eating their food. Fluttershy was having varieties of vegetables and flowers mixed with her bowl of salad with some ranch dressing on the top while Angel just nibbled on his small bowl of carrots. Then as they were in the middle of their meal, then suddenly, there was a knock on the door. "I thought Twilight and Rainbow Dash were busy figuring out the strange magical anomalies in the Everfree?" thought Fluttershy. "Coming." she said happily that her friends were here. Trotting over to the oak door happily, opening it to reveal something she did not expect at all. She found something out of a nightmare. It was about three and a half feet taller than her and could possibly be taller than Celestia herself! The monster itself had a face made of bone and had two sinister looking red eyes that stared down into the core of her soul. But the rest of what it looked like was hidden in layers and layers of different fabrics that formed a battle like robes. It had evil black spiked boots and gauntlets that gave a feeling of terror to anyone who looked at them. The monster had a sheathed sword that looked like it was made of strong bone and sharper than razors. She instantly slammed the door. Fight or flight mode kicking in and she flew into her window and began flying for her life. She flew faster then she had before, panting for air, but her panic kept her going until she crashed into Twilight's crystal balcony. "Rainbow Dash!" said a angry but mostly annoyed filled voice. "You got to stop crashing into my... Room?" Twilight stopped as soon as she saw Fluttershy lying on the floor, panting for air. She ran over to her friend and helped her up. Fluttershy was shaking uncontrollably and was looking everywhere with her pupils that where the size of needle. "Fluttershy, are you okay?" asked Twilight. "M-m-mo-monster." mumbled quietly Fluttershy before she blacked out. Twilight then laid down her shy friend gently onto her bed. "Spike! Take care of Fluttershy while I find out what this monster is." said Twilight as she quickly ran passed her assistant out the door. She then ran through the town to find ponies running the opposite direction. As she pushed through the crowd, she was shocked to find a nearly seven feet tall bipedal monster with a spine chilling bone face. She that noticed Rainbow Dash hiding a cloud, ready to pounce onto the tall figure in black. "Rainbow! No!" The lavender mare shouted just as the rainbowed maned friend was about to pounce. The monster then turned around to be tackled by her. "Ha! Not so tough are ya-" She was interrupted by a powerful fist to the face, knocking her off of the beast. The tall monster got up on his feet and loomed over the blue pegasus. "Ow. My snout. You're gonna pay for that-" She was interrupted again with a swift bone cracking kick to her side. "That for tackling me you freak." said the masked figure with a deep voice that had a slight but noticeable demonic echo with each syllable. "Who ya calling a freak? You're the bucking freak-AAAAAAHHHHHH" She began to scream as she was shot with voltages of electric blue lighting from the monster's gloved fingers. Twilight was in utter shock at what the monster was doing to her best friend. In a matter of agonizing seconds, Rainbow Dash was given relief from the intense amount of pain. "You think I'm the freak! Listen here you gay horse. You nothing but overly pathetic wannabe that need fame and attention to be happy. You think you're the best at everything and can beat anyone at a race. All you do is for fame and attention, yet you run a blue unicorn out of town for the same damn thing you fucking hypocrite." The monster finished, giving another swift kick to Rainbow Dash's head, knocking her out cold. -First Point Of View- I had just beat the living shit and lectured a fucking cartoon pony. Welp, that wasn't according to plan. But it's definitely a one thing off of my bucket list, that's for sure. I thought as I looked around the area, spotting a familiar jaw dropped purple alicorn. "Twilight Sparkle I presume?" I asked, getting the alicorn's attention. She shook her head and looked at me, very pissed. Suddenly, her horn began to glow purple. I had an idea of what she was going to do and so I instinctively cased a Master Ward. Now this was not in the game as I know, but it was in the book. Anyway, this spell basically could block around a 100 damage weapon and take no damage from it. It could absorb almost all high levels spells and weak levels of shouts. Another thing about this Ward was that it converts half of the magicka in the enemy spell to my magicka. The shield formed a second before her bolt of purple could hit me. As it hit my Ward, a huge flash of light blinded my eyes for a moment. When I could see again, I saw a awestruck Twilight that was looking at me as If I had done the impossible. Well for what I could see, the houses in the area were totally destroyed. There were six other houses that here halfway gone and some others were on fire. I noticed that all of the dirt in the blast had turned to smoldering glass, sharp like waves as tall as me were formed. Also there was a lot of steamy smoke in the air, making it a bit hard to breath. I looked back a twilight and noticed that she looked like she was about to pass out... And ten seconds later she did. "Seriously? That all you got?" I asked, a bit surprised that I defeated the purple horse without attacking her. I noticed that my ward had protected Gay Rainbow by my feet for some reason. Maybe it was ward sizes and covered her up? Whatever it was, I didn't care. I then gave a long sigh like grown, then realizing that something was off. "That was to easy... Way too easy." Right as I said that, I felt something as fast as a nascar ran into my back. I found myself flying a few meters in the air and the next moment I'm on my stomach with no air in my lungs. I gasped a few times, collecting some air into my lungs. "Damn you Murphy." I groaned. "Gotcha ya vermin!" Said a very annoying pony that was named after an alcohol brand. "Applejack, that's your name, right?" I asked, still lying on the ground. "Don't ya move or ya'll get another." She threatened. "Now I know how your trees feel when they don't drop apples for you." I said sarcastically. I could hear her growl at my remark. I slowly got to my feet and turned around to find Applejack with a lasso in her mouth. Before I knew it, I was in a cocoon made of rope with my head sticking out of the top. "Really? Just... wut?" I asked, confused as of how she had that much rope and tied me that fast. She held her hoof out and poked my cocoon, tipping me over and I fell face first into the ground. "Ouch." I grumbled. I then began to hear talking. "Rare, go check on Twilight and Rainbow. Pinkie, ya go get Spike and wright a letter to the princess." I heard applejack command some other ponies. "Okie dokie lokie!" I heard one of them say so happily that it screamed that insanity had taken mortal form and physics have been damned to eternity by this very being. It was the most obnoxious pony this fucking show. It was a Pinkie Pie. I rolled over and looked at the smirking orange horse. "You know, I haven't done anything wrong... Okay, maybe I overdid the lecture to Gay Rainbow and sent a few volts into her spine. But she had it coming!" I said, looking her in the eye. "No! Ya attacked her and nearly killed ma friend!" She claimed. "True, I did do those things, but do you see what she did? Hm? I'll let you know that Guy Rainbow attacked me. I just met her and I can already tell you that her ego is so big that it blinds her from seeing basic logic! Here I'll give you a perfect example that just happened; Would you randomly attack a, fragile old man that is wearing a cloak and mask? Well your gay friend just did! Did she ask if I was lost or confused? Did she think as of why I was wearing a cloak or robes? No she randomly attacked a lost 80 years old guy out of ridiculous superstition! I acted as if she was going to kill me, so I got angry wanted to make an example of her. I'm sorry that your gay friend is a complete idiot." I said, throwing a few white lies. I had information worth over a 50 years of mental training, so I technically was around 80 years in knowledge. And my body look like that of a zombie, so I could well be that age or more. Thank god for my quick and creative mind. "Ya lie'n!" she said. "Really now? Take off my mask and see my decaying undead face. Tell me to my old face that I'm just a evil creature that needs to be imprisoned into stone or banished to the fucking moon." I dared. Please take the bate, please that the bate! And she took the bait! She began walking over to me slowly and put a hoof to my mask and took it off. How she grabbed it, beyond logic, that's for sure. I gave an unpleased look on my face, trying to look as old as possible. As soon as she laid her eyes on my flesh, she turned from pure orange to an apple green from seeing the rotten flesh. "Ya face as ugly as sin!" she said shocked and discussed, then shoving my mask on my face. She then looked like she was about to vomit. "Yes, now, could you untie me before you vomit on me?" I asked. Applejack didn't know what to think from the look of it. We stayed in silence for a few moment until physic was, yet again, broken and a pink blur popped out of nowhere. "I sent the letter Applejack! Celestia is on her way to deal with the meanie!" She said happily, then giving me an unhappy look. She looked over to applejack, noticing something was not right with her. "What, did I say something wrong?" Asked the pink mare, slightly deflated from her jumpy energy. Applejack hesitantly gulped something down her throat and replied . "It's... It's nothing sugarcube." Pinkie Pie didn't pay that much attention and was mostly putting her attention on me... In a very creepy way. Then the white horse, Rarity I believe, trotted over to Applejack. "How is this monster holding up?" asked Rarity, Applejack just nodded over towards me, trying to get these damn rope off. "Is rainbow and twi okay?" asked Applejack quietly, having a blank stare. "Well, Red Nurse Heart said that Twilight is just suffering from Magic Deprivation and should be awake in a few hours. Rainbow Dash on the other hoof is not doing so well..." Rarity trailed off giving disgusted looks at me. "...The poor darling has a few broken ribs and is suffering some small sized, yet severe burns all over her body. She is still unconscious and probably will never wake up thanks to that monstrosity!" She said, raising her hoof at me in rage, as if iron bars were blocking her from smashing me into bits. She looked way more pissed then my mom when I didn't clean my room in a week. And my mom could be an holy angel to being scarier than satin in a blink of an eye. She gave a few deep sighs, composing herself and looking back at Applejack. Applejack looked like her heart had been torn into two and was in deep thought on what to say next. "Girls, what do ya think we should do about it?" She asked, more angry and yet more thoughtful. "Well darling, for one, it should be locked up in Tartarus for what it has done to Rainbow Dash." said Rarity as if it was a fact. I on the other hand, did not like that Idea one bit if my Greek history was right. That place is like being a small white guy being stuck in a prison full of creepy blacks, all of them named bubba. "That meanie doesn't deserve a party for hurting Dashie..." Pinkie Pie pouted, soon trailing off, mumbling to herself. "I think ya'll are seeing one side of the picture. I don't think it all evil." stated Applejack, gaining gasp of shock from the two mares. For me, I gained a smile. '"How could you say that darling! It nearly killed Rainbow Dash and shook off one of Twilight's most powerful spells. It is a danger to everypony and should be dealt with as such." Rarity said, still surprised at her friend. "Ya, how it just shot a lightning storm from it's claws! That doesn't get much more evil looking than that. It is also immune to my pinkie sense! Eeeeevillllllllll." Pinkie Pie said, already annoying the hell outta me. "I can understand all ya, I would buck that thing into Tartarus myself just for what it did, but did ya consider why it did it? I mean, the bug queen wanted to steal all ya'll love and Discord wantin chaos everywhere. But what did it do to us, before Rainbow attacked it?" asked Applejack, gaining a growl from Rarity and a confused look from Pinkie Pie. "Why are you defending this monstrosity for what it has done Applejack!" said Rarity, astounded by what Applejack as said. "Wasn't Zecora a monstrosity?" asked Applejack. Rarity was going to reply, but insistently realized that she had nothing to support her point. "Well... It. It's just..." rarity trailed off, letting Applejack time to speak. "I'm not standin up for it, I'm just want ya'll to look at the whole picture of the problem." "What is the whole picture, Applejack? Is it cake?!" asked Pinkie, bouncing up and down again. I decided to do something, not talking in the matters of my future while these ponies were deciding was not a good thing. "Well first of all, Gay Rainbow randomly attacked an elder that was just strolling through town." I said, pitching into the conversation. This gained all three mares attention. Rarity look like a volcano about to explode... And she did. She was in full rage mode and had nothing but the party horse that defies physics and a farm to stop her from destroying me. And I will admit that ponies can be scary as psychopaths... I wonder if that Cupcakes thing is real?... Now I'm really scared about the pink one. "WE ARE NOT FILLYFOLLERS! THAT WAS A ONE TIME THING!!!" shouted Rarity with rage as burning as the sun. But that rage soon turned to pure flushed embarrassment as soon as she realized what she had just said. "Knew it! The fame addicted jock and a high standard bitch are gay!" I shouted to the world, not regretting anything. And that is when pay day hit me like a freight train. I couldn't quite understand what she was saying, but I knew all too well what could have been coming outta that mouth. Thanks to my cocoon of robe kept me from having bones broken and just getting some minor bruises. A few moments latter, Rarity was hit in the head with with what looked like a huge iron frying pan. The three of us looked over to who had thrown the thing to see a little purple dragon, or known as Spike. He had mixed up emotions on his face, some of shock and more of anger, some of sadness and more of pent up frustration that was about to blow. "Just... Stop." He said, taking a bunch deep breathes, looking as if he was about to explode. But at least trying to cope with with whatever was bothering him. Wasn't Rarity his girlfriend? Oh damn! "You." He pointed his finger at me with anger. "Need to shut up and stop getting under ponies fur." He said, gaining a quick nod of acknowledgment from me. Applejack was about to say something but was interrupted by spike. "Applejack, take Rarity to the hospital, She probably has a concussion and Pinkie..." He said, Applejack looking over Spike again and put the white mare on her back. Spike then slowly turned toward the confused Pinkie Pie. "Go make a dozen cupcakes and bring them to the Ponyville general hospital, I think Rainbow Dash would enjoy something beside hospital food." Spike, suggested. This gained pinkie's happiness back, getting her all happy and began bouncing away. "Now..." said Spike, watching Pinking bounce away. The dragon the looked at me with his arms crossed. "I got three questions for you. You are going to answer them truthfully or else..." I nodded in agreement, not wanting any more trouble. "Why are you here, what do you want, and why did you hurt Rainbow Dash like that?" asked the dragon, through gritted teeth. I'm being interrogated by a baby dragon, WTF... Meh, I'll roll with it. "To be honest, I didn't expect you to act like this. But I'll get straight to the point. First off, I have never wanted to be in this mass-up pony land in the first place, but destiny has it's own ideas for me. All I wanted was to find out where the hell I was and learn about this world. And, well... Look at how that turned out." I said, glancing around the destroyed buildings. "All I want is to go home if possible and if not, I'll just have to fix this world. Now the reason why I did that to her is to make an example of whoever crossed me will pay. An eye for an eye no?" I asked, getting nothing but a stern look on Spike's face. I had spoke honestly and clearly, not leaving eye contact with the lizard. "So you're basically a lost jerk that is trying to get home. You ended up fighting with Rainbow Dash and nearly killed her because of pride?" asked Spike, raising a scaly eyebrow. "Well she attacked me outta nowhere and it was not pride, but respect for who I am." I said. "And who are you exactly?" asked Spike. This made me realize that I hadn't come up with a new name. My old name means nothing about my new form, so I needed a different name. Something brilliant yet... Dreadful. "I go by many titles, Master of Destruction, Master of Restoration, Dragon Slayer, Reaper of Soul, and so on. But you may call me by my most dreaded and respected name, Malus." I said, with unusual pride, sounding almost demonic. For some reason, I felt as If I had opened a part of myself for the first time and became something different. It felt as If I had been inside an egg my whole life and I was breaking the shell to become what I was destined to be. It felt as if I was alive for the first time. It was this power. It had opened something inside me... And I loved it. No, I craved it! "Ummm... Malus, why are your eyes glowing like that?" asked the small dragon. I got out of my mind and back into reality, this time I was no longer the kid I was. I was Malus, and I was going to fulfill that vision. I was going to be God of the new world. "I think I have had enough of talking with you creatures." I said with and more noticeable evil vibe in my voice. Suddenly, my hands became a flame, burning the ropes instantly. This gained gasped from Spike. "You think you creatures could tie up a master mage in rope and think that I am imprisoned? Well your more brainless then I thought possible." I said, now standing back up, stretching my arms, giving satisfying pops from my bones. Spike began shivering in fear as I loomed over my pray. "You go give a message to those puppets that you call friends and their fools of masters. Tell them that I'm going to rid this world of their corruption, free the innocent, eradicate the evil, and bring prosperity to those that follow. Now, if you excuse me, I have a lot to do." I said, quickly turning around and began walking out of the rubble and back into the forest. This adventure as only just begun. > Chapter 3: Alpha Malus > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I stormed out of the town and soon found myself back in the god forsaken forest. As soon as I looked around and realized what I had just done. "What the fuck... Why did I just do that? I was about to get things straight!" I then gave an angry yell and shot a lightning bolt at a tree next to me, obliterating it. "What the hell was with the free the innocent and eradicate the evil shit. I didn't even mean to say that! And why of all people did I quote Light Yagami?" I groaned angrily as I walked through the woods, turning another tree into small, yet smoldering ash size chunks with another lightning bolt. "And why did I call myself Malus of all things? I don't even know what that name means yet have I ever heard of it!" I nearly shouted, blowing up a few more trees in my wake of anger and frustration. Then I suddenly stopped my rampage and began to think reasonably on what was going on. "Yet... I feel that it was me, yet not. It has to me this freaking magic. It is messing with my mind." I concluded in thought, taking a few deep breaths, calming myself down before I destroyed this entire forest. "Okay. I just told a baby dragon that I was basically going to liberate the world and form a group or something? My god, what did I get myself into?" I asked mentally to no one. "And what the hell is with these mood swings I'm having? Fuck it. I'm blaming magic for this shit. Magic is what got me in this stupid world in the first place." I thought, noticing that my mood had been changing dramatically ever since I been in pony land. "It doesn't matter now. I've ruined my chances with the gay ponies, that's for sure. So what do I do now?" I thought, thinking on what to do. I then began thinking on the most important matters at hand. "I'm hungry, I need some more water, and I need to find somewhere safe to rest. But I also need information on... Well. Everything... Damn it." "Aren't there other sentient creatures?" I asked randomly, then remembering another race in this world. "Okay, there are some sort of biped dogs that eat gems. Gem Dog? No... I think they were... Diamond Dogs? Yeah, that right. They live underground and dig for rocks and stuff. I think I could be allies with them. Don't they live near the pony town?" I thought, remembering my sister showing me an episode that had the Diamond Dogs trying to enslave Rarity. "I think I'll get alone with them just fine." I thought, making my way back and looking for a dig sight, hoping to find some allies. And I found it. I had been scouting the edges of the forest for a few minutes and found a dirt flat area with a few lumps of dirt hills. In the middle of this dig site, was a big, dark, hole. "Well, let's see if anyone is home." I said, then sliding myself down the hole. I slid down the bumpy hole and soon enough, I found myself in a network of caves. Luckily, the sealing was twice my height, so I could walk around at full height. I began to hear some screams coming down from one of the tunnels. I began to jog down the tunnel and found something I did not expect. There was a tall gray and brown Minotaur with a long whip in his overdosed steroid hands and a huge steal battle ax that looked like it was from Skyrim hung on his muscular back. "You call that a good amount of gems!? You dumb dogs work faster if you want to live!" yelled the bull man thing, cracking his whip onto an old gray dog that had multiple scars on his old bent back. That alone pissed me off, but then I began to become fully enraged when I began to see visions... Vision of the past. Visions of him whipping and torturing Diamond Dogs till near death for outrageous reasons. Some even for fun. It was as if I was looking into his soul's sins in the blink of an eye. That is when my mind snapped again, soon feeling my blood boil and magic lighting up in my hands. "Stop." I said deeply and loud enough for everyone to hear. This gain all of the dogs and the monster's attention. "What is this? Why does it interrupt me!?" He asked in rage. "You are going to drop that whip, apologize to every Diamond Dogs that you have hurt, and pay back all the wrongs you have done to them. After that you are going to leave quietly and never return. If not..." I said through gritted teeth, then electric blue lightning forming in my hands. "I am going to beat the living shit out of you till your a bloody mess. Then I'll give you pain like no other could give that you couldn't even comprehend it. And while you are begging for forgiveness and wanting to to die, I'll heal you body back to normal. But that won't be it. I'll then slowly tear you body apart at molecular levels. And right as you give up and accept you wrongs, I'll chop off your head and mount it on my wall as an example of those that of evil will suffer my wrath." He had a look of rage and was about to defend himself, but I kept talking. "Also, I'll skin your corpse, clean your blood matted fur and turn you into a rug to relax my feet on. The rest of your bloody body will be gutted like a fish and made into a meal for me to dine on tonight. The rest of you entrails will be grained into a fine blood wine to drink and you bones will decorate my new throne." I finished darkly. And I had just traveled to the point of no return. I think he would have fought me head on if I hadn't described what I'll do to his dead body. "What the HELL! why am I saying this!? Am I asking to die!" I asked myself mentally. It was as if i was imprisoned in my own body as my rage. But man, the look on his face was of disgust and utter fear from hearing something that should only come from the craziest of psychopathic killers. His eyes widen and was a bit horrified, realizing that I was dead serious as I walked up to him looking up and staring him dead in the eye. "What in Tartarus are you?" he asked in a shock and horrified voice. "Tartarus got nothing on me. They got their reputation from me." I hissed, my voice becoming that of the same damn demon that sent me here. "So, what will it be?" I asked, standing right in front of him and into his eyes, noticing something. Courage. Then suddenly, a feeling of something cold in my chest struck my attention. I looked down to see the hilt of a big dagger stuck in my chest. I stepped back a few steps in shock. "Die demon!" He yelled. I looked up to see the Minotaur grabbing his battle ax "No... " I whispered, losing my sanity that very moment. "No, NO! You shall die!" I yelled, sounding just like Darth Sidious himself! He was about to bring the ax down until I shot him with a huge blast of lightning into his abdomen sending him a few meters back. He landed on his back, gasping from the intense burns on his steroid pumped six pack. He had lost his ax from the blast and was frantically looking for it. "You shall know pain like no other." I said darkly and bit raspy. I then began to shoot dozens of thin strains of lightning, making sure to hit every nerve possible on his body. I began to see more of his sins and I shot volts after volts into his body. His mussels were flexing and twitching uncontrollably, soon freezing up from the amount of volts that were passing through his body. His body was burning hot as his blood was literally steaming out of his crisp wounds. His screams of pure agonizing pain became gasps of survival, begging for air as he was unable to breath properly. He soon was beginning to lose consciousness from lack of oxygen. "Your time to die has not come, yet." I said demonically. I then quickly forcing restoration spells into his nearly dead body. His wounds healed and his life blood was flowing throughout his body again. He gasped, inhaling air for dear life. Now the next thing I was going to do to him was an idea I had come up with. A very, very evil idea. I going to use two types of high magicka demanding spells that were totally different. The first spell was meant to quickly destroy beings that could regenerate their health crazy fast, killing them all the way to their cells. But the other was a totally different spell. It was mostly meant for fixing, mending, and regenerating severe brain and nerve tissue damage. I then began to use all of my mental focus on every part of his body to the very cells that made up his body. And that is when he began to burn at the molecular level. Every atom of every cell that made up his being was in a never ending fire. I used Destruction fire to destroy every nerve in his body while the Restoration was rebuilding new ones, keeping him in unimaginable and unfathomable pain. These spells were meant for two eternally different purposes and yet, I was using them for the most brutal torment imaginable. His screams were that of pure pain and sorrow. I then began to let up on his pain and began to use the rest of my magicka to heal the rest of his body. "Please... No more..." He begged with every part of him moaning to stop the pain. "Really? Did the Diamond Dogs ask for you to stop? Did they beg for the pain to stop? They did. And you denied them." I shocked a few more volts into his body, gaining more screams. "You had killed and beaten your slaves near death and what did you do? You smiled and laughed as they suffered because of you." I began burning his body at iron melting degrees "You reap what you sow motherfucker." I said death chilling echo, quickly grabbing the battle ax with my telekinesis and bringing down on his neck, decapitating him. I then let go of the heavy battle ax that was now stuck halfway in the stone floor. I took a few steps from the burnt yet bloody soaked body and began to pant like a dog from having depleted magicka. I looked down, the big dagger was still in me, stopping at the base of the hilt. I then began to slowly pull the dagger out of my chest, black like blood stained the blade and began to leak out of my body. I pulled the rest of the dagger out of me, black blood pouring out of my opened wound. I tossed away the black soaked dagger and put my hands on my bleeding wound, not stopping much of the gushing wound. I then focused the last of my magicka on a minor restoration spell, stitching and mending the wound a bit, stopping the blood loss for now. I then began to feel numb all over my body and soon falling to my knees. I felt my bones aching and my muscles weak. I slowly began to lose conciseness and getting a glimpse of a crowd forming around me before I blacked out. -Flashback- It was a long time ago. I was 10 at the time I believe, yet I could remember this day as clear as a glass of water. It was dark and scary night that changed my life forever. Dad had come back from work and was angry, more than normal. He stunk of a smell the could burn your eyes out and had a bottle in hand. I remember that he was shouting stuff I didn't understand and was scaring all of us. I grabbed my sister, who was about to turn eight at the time, and hid in the closet. I forcefully shoved my hands over my sister's ears as she cried in fear. I could hear dad saying bad things at mom and I heard some stuff break. I stayed in there what felt like an eternity as I head the front door being broke down. I peaked through the keyhole and saw one of my friends I knew. His name was Noah, he was over 18 and went to our church. He had always helped me and stood up for me whenever I got in trouble. I could see him holding gun in his hands and pointing it at dad. My eye went wide when I saw the gun and I gasped when I mom on the ground, blood flowing on the wooden floor. Dads hands were dripping with blood and looked scary. "Drop the gun Noah." Dad spoke darkly. "Mr. Carter, stop or I'll shoot." warned Noah. I just stared in shock, unable to move or even comprehend what was happening. Dad had a broken bottle in hand. Before I could blink, dad threw the half broken bottle at Noah. Dad then charged drunkenly at my best friend, knocking the gun outta Noah's hands and landing right by the closet that I was in. I saw dad punching Noah with the bottle and I opened the door quickly and grabbed the heavy gun in my hands, pointing it at dad. "GO AWAY!!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, gaining his attention. My eye were close to being bloodshot from how much I was crying. Right as I pulled the tight trigger, Noah pushed dad out of the way. A sound of thunder rang throughout the house. The gun had flung out of my hand and I looked in shock. I could see dad lying on the ground, covering his head. But that is not what I was looking at. Noah had a look of shock and fear. I saw his white shirt had a hole in it, instantly blood flowed out like a waterfall. He fell to his side, the life fading from his eyes. Then I saw two cops running in aiming their guns at my dad. I looked at my dad and found that he somehow had grabbed Noah's gun. Dad swung his arm with the gun at the cops and they opened fire, riddling holes into dad. Only one thought came into my mind: I had killed my best friend. I just witnessed my dad being gunned down. And mom is on the floor, bleeding and shaking. I collapsed onto the floor, unable to get back to reality as I was shaking uncontrollably and breathing in gasps. It was as fear had taken my body and I was imprisoned. I then blacked out from it all, wishing for it all to be a dream. Wishing it was all gone. -Present Time- My eyes shot open, my lungs gasping for air. I looked around frantically like a wild animal. I saw three Diamond Dogs in iron plated armor with animal fur like hides keeping shitty armor together. They looked at me in shock pointing their rusted steel tipped spears at me. "Go tell them!" Barked the bigger brute of the three. The dog in the back then ran out of the room, going to inform these others "Where am I?" I groaned, looking over myself, noticing white bandages wrapped around my waist. I raised my right hand, flowing my magic and forming an orb. "Drop magic! Now!" barked the big dog. I got on my feet, trying to balance my drowsy body. "Let me heal myself." I wheezed, pumping magic into my arms, letting the Restoration magic heal my wounded body. The guard dogs eyes turn to the size of dinner plates as my bandages burned away and revealed my wounds and my robes mend back together. "Now what do you want?" I asked somewhat tired, all my health back to normal. The dogs shook their heads from being awestruck back to stern guard looks. "Follow us and don't try anything." said the biggest dog. I did as they said and followed the brutes. They may have stood up to my elbows at their full height, but they still looked tough enough to take a lot of damage. And I didn't want to fight or cause any more trouble so I complied. We walked out of the room and walked down a few tunnel like hallways and came to the room where I fought the Minotaur. In the room was a group of four Diamond Dogs. And they looked scared, yet... Submissive maybe? "You alive..." one of them mumbled. "No shit." I said blankly, looking dead straight into their eyes. "Your name Malus, right?' asked one of the four. He had a mud brown with blue spots and green emerald eyes. He stood up to my waist at best and had smaller feet and longer paw fingers then the rest of the group or of any Diamond Dog I have seen. He also had a long tail and pointy ears. I was about to ask how the hell they got my name when I remembered that in the "Rarity enslaved by Diamond Dogs" episode that the Diamond Dogs had terrible speech and understanding of English. If anything, descriptive words totally out. I sighed, realizing I needed to them like I would with an illegal Mexican immigrant. This was going to be very interesting. "How did you come about my name?" I asked, getting a worried looks from the four. The thin one pulled out a piece of slightly crumbled paper that was ripped on the bottom of the paper. I took it with my hand and look on what was written on it Equestria Daily: Most Wanted 10,000 Bits information or whereabouts "Do not engage or provoke this tall beast at all costs. It has unknown magics and can is considered an enemy of the state. Not much is know on the beast, but it calls itself Malus and is considered high level threat." -Princess Celestia. It has defeated Princess Twilight Sparkle in a single blow, sent Rainbow Dash, the Element of Loyalty, in the infirmary and in still in a coma. The princesses have not spoken yet on the matters on how to capture or defeat it. Is this the end time to come? Are two of the former Elements of Harmony gay? Will rainbow Dash ever wake up? Read on pages- "Great, I've got myself on wanted posters now." I mumbled, burning the paper in my grasp, instantly turning to ash. The dogs cowered away from the flames, fear clearly interpreted on their faces. "What do you guys want? Are you going to turn me in or what?" I asked, confused. They looked at each other and nudged the mud brown one closer to me. The thin dog gulped in fear, trembling a bit. "You kill Iron Wall master, you take what you kill." He said as if he was expecting to be punched in the face. I, on the other hand, was shocked. I knew that this Iron Wall was a slaver based on what I remembered when I looked into his soul. He owned a around a hundred strong male workers and two dozen families. If I was hearing right, this dog was saying that I now owed them by killing Iron Wall. Damn, I did not see that coming. I thought for a few moments, bringing hand over the thin, shivering dog. I began flowing magic through my hand, a orb forming. "Please forgive me!" the dog begged. He closed his eyes, prearranging for pain or death. But it never came. He opened his eyes to feel no pain. If anything, He felt better. He looked over himself, gasping of what he found. His thin beaten body was healed. He saw no old scars, no wounds or bruises. His weak form was now what should be a normal healthy dog all the way down to his fur. He looked healthier then then my mom's all homemade sailed to be honest. I could use some of that right now. I thought. Tears formed in the dog's eyes as he looked back at me with a whimpers of joy. Them, something just clicked in me, making me feel something I hadn't felt in this world yet. Compassion and sympathy for the poor dogs open my heart that had been bitter for too long. "I am no master and never will be, but I can be a friend." I said, tears flowing out like a waterfall from the dog as he jumped on me, hugging me in death tight grip. "Thank you..." He cried, probably getting the first tastes of love and freedom from a slaver's wrath. I set down the joyful pup and looked at the others, shocked at how their friend had acted. "I will not master you, but liberate you from creature that deserve worse than what Tartarus can give." I said, then noticing that a crowd had formed around me. "Alpha Malus." said the joyful dog at me feet. At that moment a few more joined, soon turning to cheering barks of my new title. And I liked it. I then coughed loudly a few time, signalling the Diamond Dogs to calm down. "As my first action as your alpha, I declare that all injured and wounded shall be tended to." I declared, getting howls of agreement. I then began looking for a chair to sit in. I was shocked when I laid eyes on a solid gray stone throne. There was a freshly carved stone throne with bones engraved onto the stone, as if they were a part of the solid stone, but still had a cool design and style to it. It was on top on a stone stage with stone steps leading from the stage to the floor. A bit above the stone throne had a huge skull with two huge horns mounted on the wall. "Did you dogs literally do what I said I was going to do when I had killed him?" I asked out of shock. "There was no blood in corpse and meat gotten bad when you woke up. But throne is good?" Asked the mud colored dog. This just turned from happy to dead creepy way too fast. "How long was I out?" I asked, still staring at what was apparently my new creepy throne. He began to count with with his paws and answered. "15 sunrises." my eye widened when I learned of this news. I was knocked out for fifteen days? How did I not starve to death? Wait... Does that indicate that I'm a zombie? Part zombie maybe? Damn. This is too much. "What's your name?" I asked, trying to change the topic and think on my undead body later. "Don't have name. Just slave." he answered, this gaining a raised eyebrow from me, of course hidden because of my mask "Do you like Zeke?" I asked, getting a nod from him. "Well Zeke, you are my assistant and will help me organize and control things around here. Do you accept?" I asked Zeke, he began wagging his tail and nodded his head again. "Okay, your first assignment is to bring every Diamond Dogs that is wounded or those that need healing to me." I ordered, like any well trained dog, he leaped from my side and began to do my bidding. I walked over to my throne, getting a feel of it for the first time. I sat their, planning and scheming on what to do next. "Alpha Malus, I like that title." I finished as I brought my hands together, laughing evilly. "I am Malus, god of the new world." > Chapter 4: Dinner In The Dog House > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- -Celestia First point Of View- "And that is why we should ban popcorn and soda." said another overly demanding noble, speaking as if it was set in stone. Why is it that the nobles only complain on the smallest of things and common ponies talk about the most important matters? It is as if they had switched places... Is this the fifteenths or twentieth time he has complained about another failed date this week? Maybe that should be his special talent... By mother, he's still going! I thought, astonished as he began ranting and complaining even more. He had already taken up over an hour of the courtroom while I was in the middle of discussing the matters on the wild fires going on. "Lord Blueblood, your points have be taken into consideration and-" I was about to polity give Blueblood the politely fuck off, until an earth pony next to me yelled over my voice. "Get outta here ya royal pig!" She yelled. She was an light brown earth mare with green grass mane that looked silk and had eyes that looked as if she hadn't slept for days. Blueblood gave an overly dramatic gasp in response. "Guards, guards! Take this dirt pony away from me and throw her into the dungeon at once!" he demanded like overly spoiled foul. "Dirt Pony! Ya royal pigs don't know how to get ya'll hoof nails dirty!" she yelled with a ragged red face, mist could be seen smoking out of her ears too. "Ma little sisters are half starved for the last few mouth and our crops been burned to ashes for the last month! And when I getta see ya princess about helpin ma farm, ya come in, whining about how ya get some soda and and popcorn in ya mane!" she said loudly and was red as an angry bull. I was about to stop the situation until Blueblood went too far. "Your peasant problems are nothing to be bother with royalty you dirt filth." Blueblood finished, before anyone could react, a deafening high pitch scream of fury filled the courtroom and the earth mare lunged off of her seat and drove her hoof into Blueblood's jaw. The sound of bones fracturing and teeth broken sent shivers down everypony's spine. Even mine. Blueblood slammed into the floor from the impact and clutched his now broken jaw. "You whore!" he groaned loudly in pain, spitting out bits of bloody teeth onto the marble floor. Before she could send another blow, the guards had apprehended her in magic cuffs and dragged her away and out of the courtroom. All the way, she fought, cursing and damning me. Me, her goddess and one that has looked over the Equestria Empire for over a thousand years. She had just shouted with every being of her, damning me to Tartarus. As soon as she was gone, everypony looked at me, as if wondering what to do while some rushed over to Blueblood. Then, green flame flowed out of the window and formed into a letter. I quickly grabbed it with my magic and began reading it. Celestia, this is Spike. A strange creature has marched into Ponyville. It stands on it's hind legs and wears a black clothing with a evil bone mask. It also has armor gloved claws that look like something from Tartarus! It hurt Rainbow Dash really badly. Twilight tried to stop it with the 'stone trap spell' and something happened. The whole block is just... Gone. The spell just exploded and took out everything in it's path. She then dropped dead as is he was knocked out, but the monster didn't do anything. It just stood their as if nothing happened! Twilight and Rainbow are being brought to the hospital as I write this. Twilight was unconscious but rainbow, she looks like she could die. Luckily Applejack bucked that thing hard enough to bring it down. She tying it up now. Please send help! -Spike The Dragon My eyes widen when I read the letter. I read it again just to make sure. Did another creature escape from Tartarus? If so, then this could be bad. I don't know of any with a bone mask or any artifacts with that description. And did spike say it just took full might of a high level spell? If so, this could mean we have a very serious threat in Equestria. At least they seem to have a hold of the problem. But why is it always when I'm in the middle of court? Never mind that, they need their princess. I thought, standing from my throne. "Captain North Spear, get a carriage ready to make way to Ponyville." I announced, getting a salute from North Spear and a "Yes your majesty" as he made his way out. "Mother's hope that their alright." "By father's beard." I thought as the carriage brought us to Ponyville, noticing the ash gray creator from Twilight's crystal castle. My heart dropped when I noticed that what remained of houses were caught in the blast and Firefighter Ponies were dinging up the ashy remains. The carriage landed near the blast sight as my heart sunk even more with sadness for the weeping ponies. I walked over to the crowd of her ponies. "How many?' I asked a Firefighter Pony. "We have found a family in this one. Two fouls and both parents died being burned to ash in this house. We have found few more corpses from other houses... I believe there are more that we haven't found yet. We also are treating two dozen injured from multiple levels of strange levels of magical burns. But for the one that have died, were still trying to find out who they are. That's all we know at the moment, Princess." The stallion said with a heavy heart and trotted away to a fellow Firefighter pony. I looked around the area, only seeing chaos and sadness "My ponies." I said, gaining crowd's attention. "Today is a tragic day indeed. For today we shall weep for the loved and bury the lost. But, I promise that whatever did this will pay deeply for this crime." I said with all of my heart. I looked over the crowd and saw spike trying to push through. Spike jogged up to me and came to a stop near my hooves. "Princess Celestia." He said, happy to see me, but had a look of something when my guards had bad news. "What is it Spike?" I asked, looking into his eyes. His green eyes, showing he had something important going on in his mind. "We need to talk." "I can see... where are the others?" I asked, looking around, seeing none of elements of harmony. "There all at the Ponyville General, except for fluttershy, she just left to go check on them but we need to talk in private." I raised an eyebrow at his demand. "Wouldn't it be better if we were with the other elements?" I asked, Spike shaking his head. "They would all say things revolving around his actions, not his reasons." He spoke. This statement struck me to being confused. I knew Spike as much as Twilight from her letters, but this was definitely not how he acted. Not at all. I began taking note on his body language. He sounded a bit firm with me and very serious. He had his teeth gritted and looked... a bit taller maybe? "Well then, let's talk in Twilight's castle." I said walking over to Twilight crystal home with Spike at my side. We walked inside, spike closing the door and made our way to the dining room. I sat on the long side of the crystal table while spike sat on the other side, facing me directly. "Princess Celestia, that guy didn't do anything wrong." Spike stated, gaining shock from me, but unlike other snobby nobles, I let him continue. "His name is Malus and by what he told me and the other elements, he is old guy that is lost and happens to be a real jerk about it." Spike said, gaining my interests for more details. "Lost?" I asked, gaining a role of his eyes. Disrespect? What is going on with spike? "Let just start at the beginning..." He said, taking a few deep breaths. "It all started when Fluttershy had crashed into the balcony and kept saying monster. No sooner had Twilight left, eveypony was in a panic from seeing Malus because he looks something of Tirek. Twilight probably wanted to talk of find out his intentions, but Rainbow Dash attacked him before she could negotiate. The fight was short, ending in her being shot with a ton of lightning and getting burns all over her body. He then looked over to Twilight and asked, "Twilight Spackle, I presume". He then was shot by Twilight with one of her high level spells, I think it was a knockout spell or something. Anyway, he raise his hands, forming a glowing shield, and boom. In a flash, all was left was him and Rainbow Dash in the crater. Then Twilight just passed out, as if she had been using her magic all day. Then Applejack charged and bucked him a block away. Applejack then tied him up with her rope and he just was stuck there." Spike said, his fist tightening as well as his jaw. "Then he began talking, trying to reason with Applejack. Pinkie Pie then appeared out of nowhere as usual and told me to write a letter to you. I followed Pinkie and found Applejack about to barf for some reason. Anyway, Rarity came back because she had found Red Nurse Heart and gave Rainbow and Twilight to her and the other medical ponies. Rarity came back and told Applejack and Pinkie Pie on Rainbow and Twilight's status. Applejack then asked what we should do with it. Rarity said that it should go to Tartarus and Pinkie said something about no parties for him. Applejack on the other hoof was trying to talk logically on the situation. Things lead to another and Malus had called Rainbow dash, "Gay Rainbows" and Rarity said something about them not being gay and it was a "one time thing". Then Malus yelled out to the world about how they were… Gay. Rarity just lost it and began hoof stomping him to no end. That is when my trusty frying pan came in." Spike said, pulling out a very heavy iron frying pan with a few notable dents from meany times being used for knocking out ponies. "I did whenever Twilight didn't get enough sleep or when she just lost it. And Rarity was definitely not in her right mind. So I kind of knocked her out... Anyway! I then came in and told Applejack to take Rarity to the hospital and Pinkie Pie to go make some cupcakes for Rainbow Dash when she wakes up. I then began to do what Sherlock Hooves would do in this situation and began to interrogate him. He didn't hold anything back and told me everything." Spike said proudly. "He told me he was just lost and wanted to find out where he was. Yet he wasn't sorry for hurt Rainbow Dash, saying an eye for an eye or something like that. When it came down to names, he said he had many titles... I remember that he said he was Dragon Slayer and Reaper of Soul, but he preferred his most feared name, Malus. And when he said his name, his eyes started glowing red totally and began acting really strange. He started calling me mortal and creature. He the told me to give you a message." Spike then paused for a moment, remembering what this Malus had told him. "He said I'm going to rid this world of the princess's corruption, free the innocent, eradicate the evil, and bring prosperity to those that follow. Besides the whole crazy uprising thing, I think that he has something like the Alicorn Amulet, making him go crazy. I think it might be his mask maybe? Even though I just met him, he seems to be a bit outta wack. As if he has two personalities or something like that." Spike finished, leaving me to think upon what he had said. "Thank you Spike for shedding light on this, Malus." I said, standing at my full height again. I was about to walk out until the little dragon spoke up again. "Oh and Princess." "Yes Spike?" "What puberty?" "Hey Zake, do you got any recent newspapers? One that are not fifteen days old?" I asked. He had come back and had organized everyone from being in chains to being free. I had asked the other three to prepare for feast I had planned. It was meant for celebrating the Diamond Dog’s freedom and I planned to explain how I’m going to run this place. "I have today newspaper." He said, grabbing freshly wrapped newspaper with the rubber band around the scrunched up paper out of his coat. It look as if it was brand new. "Where did you get this?" "Found lot in red cart by apple tree house." "Hmmm. Well could you give it to me?" I asked, him bringing it to me like a dog running to his master. I took the rubber band off and began to read the front page. Equestria Daily: Malus Still At Large: Wanted Alive 10,000 Bits information, whereabouts, or captured The Princesses of Equestria have finally issued on the matter on the incident in Ponyville. After fifteen days of waiting, Princess Celestia has made an announcement in canterlot. "It has been a tragic day in Equestria, for the disaster in Ponyville, fifteen ponies have been found dead. We is believe this terrible tragedy is to be a terrible accident from a different magical energies colliding and forming the blast. The creature, Malus, has evaded us without a trace for the last fifteen days. But what we know is that he is a master mage in magics that are not known to us, but as far as his intention go, they are unknown. This makes him very unpredictable, and forth, dangerous. No pony has seen him or heard of him since the accident. We are still offering 10,000 bits for whoever has information, whereabouts, or have captured him. If you do see him, do not make drastic moves or agitate him. If you have sighted him, report to the royal guard at once." -Princess Celestia. Search Parties have been sent throughout Equestria and have come up with nothing. Is this really true? What if this all a cover up to protect the newly added princess Twilight Sparkle? Are the two Element of Harmony still in love? Dose their love for each other break apart as one lays on her deathbed as the other walks free from pain? Why have they denied their love? Read on pages- "10,000 bits? Am I really worth that much?" I said out loud, then coming up with an idea. A very rich idea. "Zake I have an idea that can bring prosperity to this pack." I said, gaining his attention. "I'll tell you the plan after dinner, but right now we need to get things ready for the feast." I said, Zake nodding in agreement. I set the newspaper aside and walked down the main tunnel, Zake following me by my side. We soon found ourselves in the makeshift dining area that used to be a huge dried out gem vain. I watched as the guard dogs made twelve foot by three foot long tables out of scrap wood. They had made over a dozen of these in the dried vein that was the size of a football field. The guard dogs as they call themselves, are the protectors of the pack and had actually hatted Iron Wall. The only reason they follows was because he killed their pack leader and claimed rule over them. But they seem to be respectful about me, but most were fearful of how I went all ape shit on Iron Wall. And I can't blame them. I would shit my pants and run if I saw a creepy unknown creature doing that sort of thing to someone... Damn, I am scary as murder and horrific as a psychopath. Damn it! But I decided to dwell on that latter as I had a dinner to set up. I spent an hour helping and organizing the setup of tables. Once that was done, I had everyone attend for dinner. When everyone was here, I gained their attention by shooting a bolt of lightning into the sealing. They instantly became dead quiet as silence filled the room. I began to focus my magic into my voice. No I wasn't going to use the Thu'um or dragon shouts. I don't even know how to use it if I even had that power... I focused my magic in my vocals, trying to amplify my voice. "May I have your attention!" I said as if I was speaking in a megaphone. Damn that was a bit too loud. "Ahem, we are here to celebrate for not just for the defeat of Iron Wall, but for the gift of freedom I have bestowed upon you!" I said loud enough for everyone to hear and not blowing their ear drums. As "And as pack leader, I say we feast and dine not as slaves, but free!" I finished, the guard dogs knowing the signal and bringing in the gems and other foods that these dogs ate. I learned that they didn't just eat gems, but mostly meat like normal dogs do. Gems were just more like a desert or a "treat" as they said. How Ironic. But as soon as they got their paws on the food, the room became a mad house. Dogs did not just devour the food, but destroyed everything in the process. It was a living food frenzy as the tables cracked and forks were bent and plates were cracked. Hell, the guards themselves joined in the food massacre. Though their was not that much fighting and just devouring, it was quite the sight to see. luckily Zake sat next to me and ate normally like nothing was wrong in the room. I just sat on my wooden chair with my jaw dropped the whole time. "By god..." I said in awe. "Wut?" asked Zake with a lizard like chicken leg in his mouth. I just stared for a minute before gaining my train of thought back. "I have never seen so much food be eaten under five minutes." I stated, Zake now looking at the mess of destroyed tables and chairs. The room was littered with garbage and junk. Nothing was left broken, bent or eaten. "6 minutes and 27 seconds." He corrected, showing me a old fashioned stopwatch. He grabbed his bones of whatever he ate and walked out of the room, leaving me alone. I sat in my chair, still awe struck had. But I had only three word to say. "Where's my food?" > Chapter 5: Malus Messor Part I > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Twilight and the rest of her five best friends have been in a living nightmare. They had saved Luna from Nightmare Moon, took on Discord and turned him into stone, and then latter reformed him. They even survived the Siege of Canterlot and helped in banishing the changelings back to the badlands and saved a frozen empire ruled by a tyrant. But it doesn't even end there. The newly Princess Twilight Sparkle took on Tirek and came at a draw of raw magical power. But she and her friends banished him back to Tartarus and saved Equestria once again. They have fought the most evil villains of their time and yet, they were not even close to being prepared for what came next. The horde of a hundred news ponies had invaded Ponyville and stopped to no end to intervene in their life. Propaganda and rumors in the papers have sent them into hiding as Rainbow Dash was in critical conditions in Ponyville General Hospital with no signs of waking up from her coma. The only thing keeping them safe was the royal guard placed to protect them from the monster, not the media. The five mares had little to no sleep for the last two weeks and were about to crazy until something had gained the news ponies attention from Twilight's crystal castle. "It's gone..." said Twilight in a whisper, but loud enough for Fluttershy to hear it. Fluttershy was suffering just as much as Twilight, sleep deprived and at the point of losing their sanity from the consent bombarding from the media. Fluttershy had stayed at Twilight's while Applejack stayed the farm and Rarity staying at her store. But Pinkie Pie was nowhere to be found. Not one of them knew where she had disappeared to, but that didn't matter to Fluttershy at the moment. For she was scared out of her mind and without Rainbow Dash to make her feel safe, Twilight was her only option. "What's gone?" she whispered back, "Do you hear that?" Twilight took off the ear muffs and looking around the room. "I don't hear anything." Fluttershy said, taking the pillows off of her head, trying to hear what she's hearing. "Precisely." Twilight said creepily, then turning her head a full 160 degrees, looking at Fluttershy with eyes showing insanity. Fluttershy cowered back only to find herself against a wall as Inanity Twilight slowly trotted near Fluttershy. Before she could get any closer, a gray blur shot at Twilight's head, knocking her out cold. A small figure stepped out of the shadows to revile a little dragon. The dragon had a black leather jacket with stylish green and purple trims. He had a black and white bandanna over his his mouth and was adored with a rusted pot over his head. He also had a black belt with silver spike on it that held an old wooden sword sheathed tightly under the belt. He had a homemade quiver that hung on his back that held multiple types of blunt kitchen utensils in it. He held a heavily modified toy crossbow in one claw and held his trusty hard iron frying pan in the other. "I'm here to save you Fluttershy!" Spike said in the most fake deep voice, failing miserably at it. At that moment, Fluttershy faints and falls into a long needed slumber. Spike didn't bother to notice her fainting as he stood in a heroic pose. Then suddenly the doors burst open to revile a royal guard. "Princess Twilight! We have news on Malus-" He cut himself off as soon as he saw what had occurred in the room. "Twilight needed a nape and Fluttershy passed out, whats the news?" asked Spike, looking up at the guards. He stood in a strong and tough pose trying to look as intimidating as a dragon. Only looking like a ridiculous baby dragon in armor fashioned from kitchen equipment and weapon being a frying pan. In other words, the guards nearly died from how much he needed to laugh at how out right funny Spike was. "Well?" asked the small dragon, tapping his foot impatiently. The lone guard finally gained his composure and began to speak. "Malus has been brought into town square." he said, surprising the small dragon as he raised a scaly eyebrow. "You guys actually took on a villain and ended up not being another complete failure? I think you guys actually earned some respect." Spike said bluntly, gaining a angry look from the stallion's face. "No, we didn't. Apparently, a lone colony of Diamond Dogs have captured him and demand that the princesses give them their claim. They won’t let him go until they get the gold in the newspaper from the princess herself." said the guard through gritted teeth. Spike then began complicating on what to do, walking back and forth till an idea popped into his head. He then dropped his frying pan and grabs some pen and blank scrolls. With a quick note written, spike blows his flames onto the sealed scroll, sending it directly to Celestia herself. "The princesses should be here soon, just keep the Diamond Dogs there till the princesses have arrived. Now I have a date with the gem jar. Don't tell Twilight, that's an order." He said as he walked away and made his way into the kitchen, taking the huge glass jar full of oh so sweet gems that could be considered a drug. The guards shook his head and trotted away and awaited for his beloved sun princess. Celestia was resting in her private chambers, looking through old scrolls to see if she could find anything about this Malus. But she quickly teleported as soon as she got the note saying "Malus is here and ready to be taken" and she did just that. She opened my eyes to see a horrific sight. Twilight and Fluttershy were on the ground... And they were not moving. Before she could begin making false accusations, the sound of glass shattering quickly got her attention. Horn flared with golden magic and spells that would burn through and melt stone, she readied herself for a fight against an enemy that dared to harm her student. She quickly turned the corner and was reviled and somewhat disappointed in what she saw. Spike was on the counter with a big gem in his mouth and looking down at the shattered jar of his favorite treats. Spike looked at her with fear of not only what he had done, but what was going to happen. Celestia lowered her destructive spells and frowned at Spike. "I thought Twilight sent an emergency letter telling me that Malus was here." Celestia said, looking at Spike disapprovingly. "I sent it, the guards were just telling me that Malus had been captured and brought into the town square. The Diamond Dogs have captured him and want the reward of bits for bringing him to us." Spike said somewhat glad that he wasn't being punished for disobeying rules. "Thank you. But we will talk about this latter Spike." Celestia said as she walked out and prepared herself to face Malus face to face. Or face to mask. She sighed and pushed the double doors, leading out of Twilight's newly attained castle and into Ponyville. She trotted past guards and ponies, not even acknowledging any of them as only one goal was on her mind. She made her way past the burned ruins that once housed ponies and foals, keeping her emotions even and in check. She soon found a crowd of ponies being blockaded by guards from the group of Diamond Dogs and Malus. Guards formed a path for her as she trotted slowly past the blockade and towards the group. She stared down at the group of Diamond Dogs, knowing all too well on how these brutes thought and dealt with problems. As she got closer to the group, her presence didn't alter or change their behavior. This meaning that they either feared their alpha more than the sun goddess or were compliant and totally obedient to their alpha. She did not like this as she gazed upon Malus. He was bound in a layer of chains tightly wrapping around him. He was also tied down to the cart the rolled him into the town. He wore his flat bone mask; the only emotions being able to be picked up were through his glowing hue of red eyes. There were about a dozen wooden carts, all empty and ready to bring in the gold. She looked back at the Diamond Dogs, trying to spot out their alpha. "Are you going to stand there or are you going to give them their reward?" Malus spoke, breaking the silence between us, sounding not what she expected. His voice was deep and strong, indeed, but his tone told her he was annoyed and bored. "Where is your alpha?" Celestia asked, gazing over the group of thirty armored Diamond Dogs. Her attention was caught once again as Malus spoke once again. "Me, obviously." Malus admitted, looking at her directly in the eye. "Then why are you the one in chains?" "Because it makes your ponies feel more secure about me being here. Also, it's a new fashion trend." He said sarcastically, earning a raised eyebrow from the alicorn. "But you do know that you’re the one being taken away. Do you not?" She asked, a bit confused at what his evil plans were. "Indeed I do. I am merely donating myself to charity." He stated, gaining gasps of shock from the pony reporters. "Elaborate." Celestia said, it being more of a demand then a question. "You see Celestia, I am not an being with evil intent. I am only doing good for the meany." He said, gaining shock from the crowd and anger from Celestia. "And that so called good is destroying homes that still housing my innocent ponies." she said, her anger growing at a steady pace "No, I merely defended myself and all that I could from you uncontrolled student. Remember well that it was her who fired that deadly spell in a populated area. It was her who killed the your innocent ponies and their homes. I merely did my best in what little time I had to save at least one of you innocent ponies. That pony being the one and only Rainbow Dash. If it wasn't for my years of being a Mage and a quick thinker, the fastest flyer of Equestria would be smoldering ash with the rest of the dead." Malus stated, taking a deep breath before going on. "Your student is weak willed with her mind, one that can be easily manipulated or broken to being a tool for an evil cause. In other words, Twilight Sparkle is a runaway cannon that you need to keep tabs on before she becomes known for being the element of Insanity. If anything, my good was keeping myself and whoever I could cast my shield on. If anyone is the blame, it is you prize student for having dangerous magic with little to no discipline on using it. Do not cast those ponies deaths on me for trying to defend myself and others from your quick judging student." Malus said, granting many jaw to drop from shock. Not just the pony reporters were speechless, but so were the royal guards that protected Equestria. Celestia was at a loss of words, unable to claim or fight for her student's innocence. She still held her composure, but was lost on what his goals or even if he was as evil as she thought him to be. "And the reason that I bring myself before you is that I hope to bring good fortune upon these dogs. Unlike what you think of them they are no slavers, but the slave of a vial being that tortured them for fun. I offered the Minotaur a chance of redemption for his sin; just like that you did with Discord. Unlike Discord, he stabbed me in the chest. But before I blacked out for the next week, I struck him down and punished him for his sins, relinquishing his iron fist over those who were weak. But I too fell and became at the mercy of the Diamond Dogs. And you know what they did? That took care of me like that of a lost kitten, helping me rest and letting my wound heal. I interned owed them my life, and I now offer myself to face whatever type of government that judges over the accused. I do this only so that these Diamond Dogs can start living a life free from beings like that of Iron Wall. My only condition is that the 10,000 bit that you promised be given to them fully so they can start building their homes and begin anew." Malus finished, having fully shocked everyone from the townponies to the sun goddess herself. "And if you are such a wonderful ruler that ponies believe you are, you would surely oblige by your word for such a noble case. Would you not?" He asked, gaining all eyes on Celestia. Celestia looked at him with anger, not liking to being tricked into his game. She hadn't planned on paying a single bit on whoever caught or sighted him, only hoping that such a price would help find Malus. But she just had her prize student being made as a wild monster and put her into a position that she had to give them the golden bits. If she didn't, a hundred of reporting ponies would surely show the world that she had gone against her own words. Celestia gritted her teeth tightly in anger; Malus had lured and trapped her to his demand. This was all planed, all but just a game of manipulation. She realized what Malus had done. He had planned this from the start. He knew the reporters were swarming all over Ponyville and came directly into nest of them. He was using these ponies as his eyewitnesses if he was accused wrongly or if she made the wrong move. She couldn't just annihilate him without repeating her student's actions, protecting himself with her ponies as his shield and voice. He had also pointed out that Twilight Sparkle being as dangerous as living ticking time bomb in front of her ponies. He used her anger to dig her deeper within his trap. Before she could back out, she was trapped within the nest of his webs and words, forcing her to compile to his demands. If she didn't, her ponies would see that she had lied to her subjects and prove more that she had been covering up on Twilight's mess up. She had been tricked like a fool and played like one of Discord's toys. She hated it, but was left with no other choice. Malus could see through her as clearly as her sunny day, and was enjoying every bit. "One of many parts of the plan completed, all too easy." > Chapter 6: Malus Messor Part II > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "These dogs will get their reward, now bring him to us." She demanded, trying to cast some fear over the Diamond Dogs, but her superior gaze was having no effect on them. It was as if Malus had made them immune to her status as a sun goddess. "When every single coin is safely in my dog's paws, you can have me all you want. But until then Sunbutt, I will be waiting." He said, calling the wonderful princess of the sun, Sunbutt. Almost every reporter wrote that down as they too would begin to call her Sunbutt. She silently growled in her throat, not liking the nickname at all. She then finally conspired with Malus, sending guards to unload a worth of 10,000 Bits from the Ponyville Bank. The dogs happily loaded the silver and gold coins unto their carts as they began to take them away. Before the guards could apprehend Malus, three portals appeared near the Diamond Dogs as they quickly ran into them. Before the anyone could do anything, the dogs were out of sight and gone with the portals. This now left the infamous Malus Messor alone in chains, surrounded by pony guards. Before the guards brought him away, he began to speak one again. "I'm sorry to say that I am not actually here at the moment." He said, confusing the ponies. But they soon were surprised as the guard's hooves merely went through him. "This is merely an illusion of myself." I said, making the crowd gasp and the guards rage. "You lied!" Celestia said, her mane now flicking like a flame, showing her rage. "I cannot go with you lot, for I do not trust you ponies. But what I have said is the truth. Besides, Celestia can lay off the cake and give some to starving puppies. Can she not? But the reason why I do not compile with you this for my own safety. I was just simply walking into town and that got me attacked and ended in the tragedy of ponies losing their lives thanks to Twilight Sparkle. If the common pony will attack a person at random for merely being who he was, I can't imagine what the noble class snobs would do to me in court. We all know that most nobles with power in Canterlot are high-oh-mighty brats and always judge anyone different unfairly. Since your terrible government is corrupted by the rich, I leave it up to you to speak for me." "You reporters, you are not just simply telling the news, for you are now speaking for the truth. I beg you to print justice that the corrupted hide from. Shine light on blackened words of the false. If you know what right, tell the world that I, Malus Messor, the Lord Of Bones, is here to bring justice on this plane of corruption and evil. Equestria is slowly decaying away in it's own illusion of glory. So I will help bring the light in darkness, but it is you who must bring them down. I can show the door, but only you can open it. Now I must be off, I have to help these adorable puppies get their first baths." And with that said, Malus Messor's illusion faded away, leaving the crowd of news ponies jaw dropped as they began to make haste to the nearest train station, ready to spread the word. The guards on the other hand, were pissed as Celestia had finally had enough and stormed off to Canterlot. Her mane showing her burning rage on the way there. After giving off my speech, I sat down on my throne of stone and bones. I began to laugh, not like a crazy villain from a cartoon, but because I had just tricked an ageless being and got off with 10,000 Bits to my name. Oh this was fun! The plan went smoothly. Thank to my young sister forcing me to play and watch the pony show, I knew where to got some spells to make my plan go off splendidly. The castle of the Two Sisters, yet even with it's age and in ruin, still had it's huge library stocked with books on magic. But the only problem was Illusion spells took months to master and portals took a lifetime to fully understand and perform them. So how did I learn the spells so quickly? I blame Skyrim Logic. Just like when I picked up the first two books from Skyrim, I instantly knew everything they had to offer. So that logic applied to every other book I picked up and opened. Under an hour of nonstop book absorbing, I was literally a master at Telekinesis, Enchanting, Illusion, Alteration, Conjuration, Manipulation, and many other magics. Anyway, I moved my dogs to the Castle of the Two Sisters. After they settled in, I commenced my plan. And since it worked, my dogs were praising me to no end. With the carts of gold being stored in the castle's basement, I began the start of rebuilding this fort. I first ordered my guards to go hunting for game and other sources of food. While they got food and supplies, I began to take command of construction of the new fort. The first thing we needed was to rebuild the fallen walls. Thanks to my instant book absorbing powers, some past knowledge from my world, we began to make this pace more secure. Thank god I had powerful magic! For now I could levitate huge boulders and melt them with my magic. With my powers and the dog's help, we formed 20 foot tall, 6-5 foot thick concrete like wall around the castle perimeter. While we didn't make a new wall entirely, but fortified and built upon and used what was left. After five long hours of my melting, forming, and cooling parts of the wall, we had somehow done it. After taking a breather for my Magica to regenerate, I and the dogs began to build a bridge from the wood of the forest. By the time we finished that, the hunters returned with fresh meat of animals. They also brought tons of canned supplies and kitchen equipment to building tools. All thanks to Fluttershy loving animals, my guards had been having an easy time pillaging her home and pets. They even looted her basement that stored a month's worth of canned food. But what I really liked what they brought me was medicine and proper kitchen equipment. While they did take a lot, I made them not take everything like family pictures or her furniture. But since she was the most innocent of the six elements, I left 2,000 bits for her, because she was my preferred one of them all. Even though I am now somewhat pure evil undead being known as a Draugr, I'm not cruel to the innocent. Anyhow, with the walls up and our safety from the monsters, I began to make my own version of the Ten Commandments and then carved it into a stone Tablet. The Ten Supreme Laws Of The Draugr Empire 1.) You Shall Not Murder. 2.) You Shall Not Commit Adultery. 3.) You Shall Not Steal. 4.) You Shall Tell The Truth, And Nothing But The Truth. 5.) You Shall Have The Right Of Freedom Of Speech. 6.) You Shall Have The Right For Life, Liberty, And The Pursuit Of Happiness. 7.) You Shall Have Equal Civil And Voting Rights. 8.) You Shall Have The Right To Bare Arms. 9.) You Shall Be Equal Among All Individuals. 10.) You Shall Obey All Laws That Follow Within The Supreme Ten. Till The End Of Time, The Ten Supreme Laws Of The Draugr Empire May Never Be Altered Or Changed, For It Is Forever Set In Stone. With my new Laws set in place, I began the feast. But unlike last time, I was making them eat their food like normal people, not like savages. And I actually got food this time! But like last time, it was still a mess in the end. But anyhow! Zake was now my appointed my adviser of the now named Draugr Empire. Though it was barely a pack, I planned to gain power and land soon. If Zake was right, there should be a pack five times bigger than ours with mines fresh with metals and gems. I could challenge a Alpha to a duel, most likely to win and claim the land and people. But that would lead to future problems as governing them would be hard as trust would be scarce. So I had another idea besides demanding power like a dumb dog. Why not take a visit and see what it is like? Maybe I could make a deal or create an alliance? That would be so much better and less troublesome for me. With that idea planned tomorrow with Zake, I began to rest on my throne, falling once again to sleep. The Next Day Before we left our new home, I had fashioned some newly made armor for my guard like companions. Thankfully, the castle had it's armory half intact with some sets of armor still intact. But sadly they were meant for ponies, not Diamond Dogs. So with my recently acquired knowledge from two dozen books on smithing, I got a old forge running again and soon, I began to craft. I first took and melted all of the available iron and began to turn it into Steel with the aid of my magic. With the leather and fur from the killed animals, I forged 4 exact sets of Steel Armor for my Diamond Dogs with Steel Helmets shaped for their heads. I used the steel to also make two Steel Maces and two Steel Swords. But as for the shields? By then, I was nearly out of Steel to fully forge one with. So I used the last of it to make simple, lightweight, wooden imperial shields with the last of the steel holding each one together. The only thing different with it is that it was without the Skyrim logo. After fitting the four travailing guards with it, I began my journey with Zake leading the way. The four guards forming a box around me. To summarize my walk, it was quite an adventure to say the least. A pack of normal Timberwolves had surrounded us, trying to get an easy meal. But they quickly learned to not attack me as I obliterated one of them into splinters with a single shock of my magic. The rest of the wolves fared the same fate as I simply turned them into sawdust. Half way there, we stumbled upon a group of four Manticores. But unlike the Timberwolves, I tested out some dark magic books I found in the deepest parts of the castle instead of simply destroying them. I walked up to them, meeting the Alpha Manticore. I had an idea I wanted to try and so I quickly tested it on them. My Manipulation and Illusion magics worked their way into the brains of the Manticores, turning them into my own pets. But with the dark magic's had a side effect on them as their fur turned a fine black with the manes becoming a sickening whitish green. Their eyes now giving off purple, black, and white mist. Their eyes themselves became pure black with a white dot and having a purple glowing hue. They grew a bit bigger with larger black leathery wings, their tails became a bleached bone white with noticeable veins of sickening green and blackish purple pulsing under the skin. Their paws grew sharper and stronger claws as the four also grew in muscle strength. Another noticeable feature was that they had grew two huge fangs and had magic deadly radiating off of their body. I smiled as the three males and one female Manticores had become my own monsters of war. I quickly gave a mental order with my magic and they laid down. Smiling again, I ordered my dogs to ride them. My four guard dogs got on the two smaller male Manticores while I had Zake ride the female. I was left with the towering alpha Manticores. After getting on and ready, we took flight, riding the Manticores in the air. Sadly, Diamond Dogs have a natural fear of heights and did not like flying on Manticores 100 feet over the treeline. It took a few minutes to get my scared dogs back on track and we quickly glided in the air. Our distance with this Everfree Clan that Zake called was soon seen in the distance as flying was much faster than walking through the forest. Before we reached the large Village, we could hear a bell being rung over and over again, singling our presence. We quickly glided downwards and landed at the entrance. We were then brought to a halt as the huge double reinforced door were locked shut. Then Diamond Dogs in fur and leather like armors appeared over the wooden wall. They were all armed with longbows and had them drawn, aiming at us with accuracy of hitting us high. We waited there my guards at my sides while Zake stayed behind me. We stayed like this, bows aimed at me while we waited for their leader to appear. And soon the Alpha did appear and did he look strong. I thought Iron Wall was strong! This dog was a biped 5' 10" Pitbull on steroids! My god, he was like a shot dog version of the Hulk! He was wearing only fur shorts with leather gloves that looked like had knuckle dusters underneath. I diffidently do not want to be hit by this guy if I value my life. "Who are you?" the muscular dog asked with slobber spitting out. "I am Malus Messor, Lord of Bones, and King of The Draugr Empire. I wish to have an audience with your Alpha." I said, speaking calmly and being polite as possible. Even though he wasn't doing such with his saliva. "DO YOU CHALLENGE GREAT AND WISE ALPHA!" He shouted, slobber spewing everywhere and on everyone as I swore I saw some foam forming in his mouth. "I merely ask for a chance to have discussion with your Alpha." I said, keeping my cool no matter what. Is that a piece of chicken? Ummm... Disgusting... I then began swiping off saliva off of my mask and robes. The huge bolder lifting Diamond Dog grunted and stepped away from sight. Five minutes latter, the armored doors opened to revile the buff dog with twelve other guards. All twelve of them were armed with a simple, cheaply made iron sword and simple wooden shield in the shape of a circle with a spike in the center. "Your... Beast stay out there. Do anything stupid... and... I turn you into dinner stew." He threatened, obviously showing his lacking in speaking, but his size and muscles totally made the point. Maybe his bronzes and might were more important than speaking when growing up? I thought. I wasn't just going to label him stupid for having hard time speaking. I have two friends that are disabled i n their own ways as they both have a trouble understanding speech. I wasn't going to be a total jackass for his lacking or based on first impressions. I'm... Or was a nice, understanding person. But that didn't matter now as I was guided to the biggest house, it being two stories with a straw roof. My guards were left to tend to my Dark Manticores while me and Zake were left to negotiations. Before we entered, the huge Pitbull told us to wait as he would inform him. Moments later, we were lead into the building. There was a long dark oak table with trays of food and mead. The left side lead to a room in which I presumed was the kitchen as the smell of something good was cooking. On the right was a set of stairs leading to the seconded story, most likely being where the alpha's personal room was. But underneath the stairs was wooden crates of random stuff such as rolled up rugs to clothing and some chew toys. Yes, I saw edible chew toys in the shape of cigars. Oh god, these dogs be smoking joints! Besides seeing what I thought was chewing tobacco for dogs, I then saw the alpha himself. In a wooden throne adorned with green and blue gems, sat a very old shaggy, border collie with a long braided beard. His coat was a dull gray with faded white spots, barely visible as age had taken it's toll on the dog. The dull silver blue eyes still showed great strength, even if his body was nimble and belonged to a seventy year old. I smiled under my mask, he was no brute like the one next to me, but a individual that used his calculating brain to an advantage. He was a warrior, that is true, but his intellect was intact and strong as ever. I could see all of this in his eyes, and he too was looking into mine. I think we'll become good friends, hopefully. He then, croaking his throat, began to speak like chanting elder "Spirits come and go through all of our own, most being guided by them with a helping paws of fate. Yet when spirits wonder upon you, they be bounded within you. None of them ever leaving and never to go with the flow nature and life. Why do I see this spiritual unbalance before me?" He chanted, looking over to the huge Pitbull with a frown. "He, um. He asked to talk like I told you Alpha Rook? What do you mean?" The drooling pitbull asked, gaining a sigh from the Alpha. He then looked over to me, as if waiting for an answer. "It depends really. I have many of these imbalances and maybe more that you see within me, Alpha Rook." I replied, not fully understanding what he meant. "You are abnormal among mortals. You have the form matching one with such complex and vast knowledge. Yet your mind and spirit do not faltered with the ages, unlike my spirit, you keep everything known and never let it go away with time. How did you accomplish such mastery in memory keeping?" he asked dryly, waving his paw over to a servant. The servant quickly brought a cup and jug of water. Rook in turn drank his dry throat away and looked at me, waiting for my reply. "Using many forms of advance and lost magics to keep my mind perfectly intact. That is why I have perfection in memory, even though it has it's faults as it has in turn changed who I am. Also having magical abilities to instantly absorb all knowledge from books and intelligent beings has helped. This ability making learning quickly as I can keep adding and adding vast collections of knowledge into my mind without trouble of remembering. This hopefully answers your question of spiritual unbalance you see within me." I answered truthfully, while do not know how I can instantly remember things like a simple google search, but it was bound to be magic. Besides, completely lying to this guy would be asking to be kicked out or "turned into dinner stew" as the Pitbull said. "Well then, I believe we have a lot to talk about? Come! Sit! Sit! If you would be so kind Breaker Bolderson, could you bring some chicken stew to our guest?" Rook said, waving to two of us to sit at the dining table. Hopefully we can start discussing trade and maybe an alliance. One can only hope. > Chapter 7: Bound In Blood > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I took my seat with Zake next to me at the long table, food quickly arriving to feed us. We both were given bowls of chicken stew with carrots as we fed ourselves. The Stew had bits of chicken with chopped carrots and potatoes. It also was given some spices, bring life to the flavors and it had some green grains of what looked like a plant. I asked what it was and told me it was a home made medicine. It helped fight illnesses and also helps in healing and strengthening bones. Anyway, we politely ate with clean, non rusted utensils as rook had slowly got out of his wooden throne, using his polished wooden staff for balance. He walked at a crawling pace as he eventually reached the table and sat down in his main end chair. He was then given a clean wooden bowl of the Chicken Stew and a big spoon to use. He then surprised me as he began slurping with each spoonful of the soop. "Breaker Bolderson, didn't you say there were others with them?" He asked, slowly raising his spoon to his lips, slurping the stew. I looked to he was talking to, gaining my to raise my eyebrow. The Pitbull on Steroids has a very fitting yet realistic name! Unlike the sugar addicted ponies, his was at least reasonable to logic. I thought. "Yes Alpha Rook. Four Diamond dogs in... Um... Silver armor?" he asked, looking at me with less anger and in a more calmer manner, but still keeping his gaze fixed on my movements. Breaker was Rook's loyal second in command as I expected. "It is not Silver Armor. If it was, my pets would be screaming with pain as silver is a toxic substance to all dark magic beings and it's users." I answered, gaining raised brows from both Breaker and Rook. "You have a pet demon? What kind may I ask?" Rook said with pure interest as he seemed scared yet excited about the subject. "Not exactly, while they are animals of demonic magics, they were not originally born from Tartarus's horde or with Dark Magic." "Hybrids then? Why I never knew that could happen between... What are they?" He asked, slurping another spoonful of soup and chewing some meat. "They are Hybrids in some sense. I just fused them with my pools of magic to manipulate and change their mind to serve me. The dark corrupting magics in my alterations had strong side effects, turning them in demonic versions of Manticores-" At the mention of Manticore, he somehow spewed stew all over my masked face. Before I could complain, he began to hack and cough up a storm, his age showing as his body cursed with the sickness. Breaker was quick at his side, helping the dog stay upright. After his hacking and choking on a small chunk of meat, he began to breath in and out, gaining his composure. "As you can see, I am not gifted like you, Malus- Breaker! Stop it. The wounds of the past will always come back to haunt us. Mostly in our older years as we get ready to part away from the living. So stop huddling me like a sick pup and let me go! If it isn't my time, I will live. But until then, stop it." he said, lecturing his second in command. "Yes Alpha Rook." He said in sadness but still submissive, bowing and walking away from the slim and shaggy furred dog. "As I was saying, did you really did say that you own a Manticore? A demonic hybrid of all! Or am I hearing the spirits again?" He asked me with a smile, drinking some more water. A smile the grew under my masked face as I could feel the excitement radiating off of him. "I have four of them. All directly obedient and loyal to me." I answered, shocking the old dog to the core as he zoned out. Before me or Breaker could ask if he was okay, he suddenly bounced back out of his thought with glee on his face. "My ears must deceive me! I must seem them at once!" he said, standing up and then given his walking staff by a housekeeper. He slowly rushed out the door, wanting to see what he had hard time believing. I quickly caught up with him as he speed walked through the village. He seemed like he was determined to see my manticores as he passed by his citizens without care, one goal on his mind. He reached the the wall and walked up the wooden steps, soon leaning over the wall and looking at my magically altered beasts. He was smiling with childish glee as he saw the huge monstrosity of a Demonic Manticore standing on all fours and giving out a silent yawn in boredom. "By the Grands.... What a creature!" He said, he then noticed one of my armored Diamond Dogs sitting atop one of the black lions like a horse. "You can ride them!" he gasped dryly, his eye widen like that of a child in a super mall of toys. His thoughts were plastered on his face like a open book as he was filled with wonder. "And we flew on them. Thanks to my magics, they could drag a tree around all day. I'm planning to use them in all forms in helping the Empire, weather it be in times of war or simply building a house, they will become a major asset to the Draugr Empire." I started, increasing amount of joy radiating off of him. He then, in a glimpsing moment, looked like a child on Christmas morning. Rook then demeaned he be allowed to pet them and get a 'closer look'. I obliged as he instantly opened the gates and walked to the tall black and white Manticores. Now I don't know if he lost his mind or simply wants a death wish, but the first thing he did was hug the Demonic Alpha Manticore. He had buried his face deep within his huge bone white mane. The Manticore in turn looked at me for answers, but I quickly ordered my pet to do what all fluffy cats do. The Alpha Manticore purred as he too embraced the old Alpha, rubbing his huge head with the old dog's smaller head. He brought his head out of the soft mane and looked back at us. "Come, we haven't finished supper as you all looked starved!" And with that order out of his snout, we were treated as long lost friends as my four guards, Zake, and I feasted like kings. Rook had snuggled up with the Alpha Manticore next to his throne, enjoying the mere presence of the dark blooded monster. He had strangely allowed the huge beast into his home, surprising and scaring off the villagers and some of his own guards too. But there was nothing to worry about as I had complete control over the Manticores. Yet it was very strange how he had acted around the number one killing machine in the Everfree. But I mentally commended the demonic animals to treat Rook like a fragile cup, loving him like their own. This had instantly warmed up his opinions towards us, making us honored guest for merely bringing my pets. As my dogs and I dined, Rook was telling a tale of his younger years travailing Equestria. "And right as I thought I was doomed to burn by dragon fire... WHAM! The Manticore Cub had came to save me! I saw that he had tackled onto his head, digging his small claws into the damn dragon's eyes. Thanks to little red fuzzball, Danger and I made it out of Ghastly Gorge alive. Though, a month later he did pass away by falling ill... Without his mother's natural milk, he was at the mercy to sickness... *Sniffing* He was the first person to lay down their life for me..." He then ended his tale there as he silently cried into the Manticore's mane. After a long awkward moment of us staring and him collecting himself once again, he stood up with staff in paw. "I've had good times and bad time in my life, but I think that's enough talk of stories. You came here to talk business with me, your doing a good job in pleasing me." he said, sending the fed guards and lions out as the four of us began to discuss. Zake and Breaker Bolderson stayed in the sideline through most of the talk, only partaking in or being asked a question. I first started on the subjects on food and supplies for my dogs as we were having to steal from ponies just to keep fed. We both had our needs as we talked about trading with each other to fit our different needs. He was very interest in our guards armor as I explained it's pros and cons with different types of Steel. He also was willing to accept Bits as they were accepted equally as being a worldwide used currency. I told him our situation with our fort and that we needed clothes and tools to help rebuild and keep my dogs living. I kept honest as I told him my situation with the ponies and that I would deal with them latter. I didn't tell him my plan because it was long and complicated, but worked because ponies were so damn predictable in my cold, undead hands. After two hours in with our meeting and negotiations, it soon came down to the final agreements. The Draugr Empire would be given basic clothes and tools for the people as a show his friendship between us. But I did buy 1,000 Bits worth of food and seeds to grow and harvest crops. But he really wanted us to make some Steel Armor as it was the strongest armor he had ever heard of. I excepted with my own terms added. He would supply the ores and materials I needed and he would allow the Draugr Empire to keep a quarter of all ores they sent for us to make as payment. But I demanded more coin on shipping to be paid if he want us to bring it to him. The payments varied on the size of each shipment and their quantity of value as we made working and agreeable numbers. He also agreed to make a temporary alliance with us as he wanted that armor for his Guards. For they were poorly armored and terribly equipped to fend-off monsters. With this temporary helping alliance, he would send 20 of his warriors with Breaker Bolderson to help bring the supplies and tools immediately. Until we got our crops and safety secure, we both would help each other with our needs. But until then, their people will grow our food and I would be forging for them. We also agreed after we are stable and self sustaining, we would start paying and trading like normal. There also was a guarantee of no hostilities or demands while in the alliance as my people would be supplied with basic need for living and that's it. With both of us in agreement, we shook our aged appendages, sealing the deal. But I was not done yet, for I had brought some special scroll paper that had a unique quality. Why did I want document to prove our agreement? I found out that this old paper is from a Sin Preach Pine Trees. What is important about this paper is that whoever signs their names in their own blood on this paper will be vulnerable to having their sins show. How is this even done? I just blame magic in the wood. The way it works is very complicated but yet simple at the same time. Let's say that if the "A" did something wrong ageist "B" (in the agreement on that paper and knowingly knew what he had done) it would magically alert all other blood-bound names on that paper of "A" betraying the deal with "B". The blood-bounds would see the that name blinding their vision and seeing the signature that "A" gave. The only way this could be stopped is that if the paper was burned into ashes. But if that did, happen, all blood-bound names would feel like they were burning alive for a good 30 seconds. This way, if one of us was going to betray one another, this document would keep us honest and strong in context within the deal. But the most powerful thing about the deal is that it stays forever with you until the deal is complete or destroyed by flame or the other(s) betrays the deal. Anyhow, after I explained the paper's properties and how it worked, he agreed as it would show both character in each other. With both of our names signed in blood, we were bound to fulfill our ends of the bargain until they were met. With that finally finished, he happily announced to the village of our alliance, sealed with blood in the scrolled document. He called for his strongest dogs, for they were to bring the first of my tools and clothes. After packing the wearable fabrics and equipment in carts pulled by my Manticores, we set off to my fort. The Everfree Forest was thick with trees and brush, that was a major problem as it was impossible getting through with all of this vegetation in the way. So with my powerful magics, I easily uprooted them out of the way and burned the trees into ashes. With crisp ashes and magic, I flattened the bumpy ground, making a clean path between my home and the Everfree Village. Sadly though, doing this process is slow as it took the rest of the day clearing and making the path to my home. Traveling on foot was also slow as we took breaks to replenish my Magica. But we finally reach Fort Everfree as I have now named it. It was around 10:00 PM and the sun was already gone from the sky, now replaced with a full moon and twinkling stars. Upon reaching my fort, my dogs quickly came to aid as they helped brought the supplies. Not even clearly thinking, I walked away from my dogs and sluggishly made my way through the old castle. I flopped onto my throne without care, giving one last glance around the empty throne room. I then shut my eyes, welcoming slumber to take hold, as I was falling into the wonderful darkness of my subconscious. I sat on my throne in my dreamworld. I was in a Gothic castle of black stone. I was just in my dream throne room, perfect to every detail. I was doing nothing as of yet, just sitting in my throne while I waiting for my body to recover and fill back my depleted magica reserves. As I sat in my throne, I glanced through my memories in this world, what I had accomplished and gained. Future plans began to develop while mixing with ideas with using my magics. But all of this had come to a sudden halt as I sensed a presence. It was like someone was walking to my door and trying to unlock it. Who would be trying to enter my mind? Then I remembered my sister saying that there were two Princesses. One ruling the day while the other governed the night.... Oh shit! The are trying to get into my mind! Oh no! What the hell do I do!? I thought as I had no knowledge on dreaming magic. And then I began to feel the presence enter my mind. Shit. Then, a dark blue alicorn burst through an invisible wall and fell on her side. She moaned in pain as she grumbled to herself. "By Mother! It is impossible into this monster's mind! Tia, this is absolutely pointless-" She cut herself off as she gazed up at me in my dark overlord throne. "Hi." I simply answered, unamused. "YOU!" She shouted, getting on a four and pointer her hoof at me with pure hate. I just raised my eyebrow "You are the evil being that brings death upon our ponies and crippled The Element of Loyalty!" She shouted with all of her might. "No." I answered calmly, unaffected by her shouting. "YOU LIE!" She shouted as she was seething with anger. "I am no liar." I relied, calm and collective as can be. "You are the monster that burned families down in their own homes and nearly killed Rainbow Dash!" She said, lowering the volume in her voice and lowered her head down. She then began charging her horn and blasted a beam of pure blue magic at me. "Your magic has no domain in my realm." I said, rising off of my throne and walked down to the stunned alicorn. "H-how?! My dream magic has no effect on you! You should be suffering your worst fears!" She stated as walked up to her. "You forget that nothing here is truly real. We are in the subconsciousness of imagination and dreams. Unlike the physical world, some rules can be bent while others... Can be broken. Only thing stopping is your mind." I started, waving my hand as the world around us changed into a peaceful forest with a full sun up in the cloudless sky. "And you have trapped yourself into a mind far superior than your own." I finished as the world became ablaze in Hellfire. The world then shifted into a dark wasteland of war. The land turned into burning ashes of the what was once life as the air reeked of death. The world around us was an empty field of barren land as the sky darkened the sun by clouds of ash and burning embers. Lightning stuck the beaten earth ever so often, landing in random spots, leaving more scorch marks on the dead earth. A low storm of mist holding grain sized pebbles passed by in the background as it alone seemed to be the only thing moving on the cursed soil. Music began to play in the area as it set a hunted feel as we could taste the damnation in the air. All hope of life was gone, no signs of Earth's beauty to ever return again. Luna looked around the sacred land of death, confused as of why she was seeing such a voided place of nightmares. "Princess Luna, this is the Valley of the Devoid. Welcome to the Equestrian future." > Chapter 8: History Of Malus > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Princess Luna, this is the Valley of the Devoid. Welcome to the Equestrian future." Malus said, waving his hand in a presenting matter, showing the cold wasteland. I felt my heart rate slow down as everything felt cold. I didn't understand, how was this the future? No, this is more of his lies! I thought, anger building up within me again. "No, Equestria will overcome all threats! Your lies do not deceive me!" I said, looking this monster in his eyes. I've dealt with his kind. Deceptive and striving for his own goals, not caring for the lives that stood in his way. He was just like Sombra! Cruel and evil as can be! But as I looked into his eyes with my magic, I was greeted with a wall, blocking his mind. It took me a whole day just to bypass my way through the maze of traps and illusions to find Malus Messor's Dream Door. But even that had became a problem as his Dream Door was huge. A Dream Door depicted each person's personalities and state of mind. While a little filly might be have a bad dream by how the door looks, his was a sight to behold. But then again, I wouldn't even consider it a door at all! For it was huge and unlike any other before. Like Cantorlot's Grand Bank, it was solid gray metal with three huge hinges. A normal pony in their adult years might have a door the size of a 5' tall and 2' wide and made of wood. But Malus's was a staggering 24' tall by 16' wide clean chrome vault like door. A pony would have a simple one digit lock or none as it was easy to bypass anypony's mind. But his had five huge complex locks with 20 or more spot with counteracting spells that reset all of locks differently in each one. To say his mind was strongly protected was major understatement. His Dream Door alone was protected by a hundred or more protection spells and runes. That alone was overkill to say the least, or as the colts say now in these modern days. Add the mazes and illusions just to find his door was just a crazy amount of protection. But it was not that fact that he had so many lock spells or the amount of time had been taken to protect his mind. What brought concerns to me was why. Why had this monster keep his mind so close? Sombra and Discord combined had not gone to such lengths to keep their minds safe from my eyes. What kind of knowledge did this being hold that was so safe guarded? And add that his door was five times time bigger than what most ponies could ever store in their heads had brought more questions then answers. But even after passing all of this and being in his very subconsciousness, I, the Master of Dreams could not see through him or any of his evil plans. I was even starting to question if he was even sane for have so much magic encasing around his mind. While Malus had all this magic pressuring his mind all the time, it was incredible to thick he could speak correctly or move on that matter. With all of these factors present, I now have realized how powerful his mental capacity truly was. With the vast amount of knowledge he held, he could easily be equally as intelligent and brilliant as all of Canterlot's Magic and Science University. He had already shown that he had perfected many magical arts as his mental power was as greatly skilled. Tartarus! His own subconscious was working several dozen advanced magical ruins while sleeping! He did not just out classed me in the workings of the Dream Realm, he surpassed me tenfold! I was truly astonished at what he had accomplished. Just the things he did in his sleep was at the levels of my sister. I then finally grasped how powerful he was. To achieve such power takes a powerful mind, so powerful that he must have surpassed mortal's comprehension of reality. And the only known being to do just that was discord. And he is completely insane. Malus had his multitasking skills so high that he could perform several demigod level magics and continuing on without beating a sweat... I just realized that I had nowhere near his levels of mental protection... "You are reading my mind. Aren't you?" I asked, gaining a quick chuckle from the dark figure. "Like I said before, you have blindly walked into and trapped yourself into my subconscious. I'm glad you ponies have finally figured out how outclassed you are compared to me. Though, I thought it would take a lot longer for your kind to finally understand who I am." He said, turning away from me. Before I could speak, he waved his hand, sending ashy dust into my face. I began hacking on the dust as he continued to speak. "I am The Lord Of Bones. I am not your enemy. For your sister lies. I defended myself and saved Rainbow Dash from Twilight Sparkle's deadly magic. It was Rainbow Dash who struck first. It was I who held back from killing the Element Of Loyalty. And Twilight is the one responsible for the family deaths in Ponyville. I merely went to help save this world from the outcomes of mine." He said, clenching his fist. The world around us faded and showed me a destroyed building. The area was the same as everything was deathly cold and in ruins. I looked around, seeing streets cluttered with debris and burned object, beyond being reconcilable of what they once were. The building itself looked like it was about to fall down at any minute. "This is my home. It was once a Church for some forgotten god. To bad he had forsaken us to damnation." Malus said, pushing the heavy doors, showing a dusty and decayed room. It was filled with piles and piles of books and other strange objects. The was a pile of clothes that looked like a bed and had a few wax candles lit near it. "I did not come to bring destruction to Equestria, but to escape my own." He said, taking a seat on a metal bench. He then waved his hand, gesturing me to take a seat next to him. I did not know what to do. I was here to bring Malus to justice and punish him for is crimes. Yet, while he has power over me and can do anything as he wish, he offers me a seat? But I have no choice in the matter as I was trapped her until he awoke or let me go. I sat on the bench with him, it creaking with my weight. "It wasn't always like this, you know? Everything used to be happy and colorful like Equestria. But now all that is gone with the ashes as you can see." Malus said, picking up a old book from the floor. It had a red cover with the word 'BIBLE' in and bold while. "What happened?" I finally asked, wondering what this place was and what had happened. "I honestly don't know." He replied. Malus then let out a deep sigh as she sat the book next to him. "It all happened so fast. One moment, I was with my mother to catch a train, the next moment, the world was suddenly at war." He said, letting out another sigh. "It's been decades since I saw my mother's beautiful smile. Hell, I've nearly forgotten what a human looks like." He said, tossing another book away. "Can you guess how long the final human war lasted?" He took his mask of, revealing his pale undead face. I took a moment to gaze at him, his eye no longer burned with magic. He looked sad, almost hopeless as he looked into my eyes. "How long?" I asked somewhat eager to get answers, yet hesitant to know what he offers. His eyes darting away from mine, finding a book on floor. He levitated the book into his armored hands. The cover faded read "The Atomic Bomb and the Origins of the Cold War". "12 Hours. That is how long it took to kill every living thing on this planet. 7.4 Billion human burned in Nuclear Fire." He said, his grip on the old book tightening, digging into the pages. I took a moment to possess what he had just said. And I couldn't believe what he said. 7.4 billion... Just gone in 12 hours… How is that possible? I can't fathom the levels of destruction that could cause such a tragedy. Yet as unbelievable as it sounded, why would Malus say something so unfathomable? What point does he have for saying such horror? "How is this possible?" I asked, his grip shredding the book in his hands. "It all started with the Manhattan Project, a top secret weapon project that had the world's geniuses working together to fight a common enemy. Thankfully they had found a way to end that war and it's most evil in their own tracks. But at the cost of bringing a new weapon of unfathomable power to the table. This weapon was known as the Atomic Bomb." He said, the book in his hand now shredded paper. "Only two of these weapons were ever used in the Second World War. And their effects were beyond devastating. Both were dropped on high dense populated areas of civilians. Luna, can you guess why it was dropped on there?" He asked, dropping the shredded book, the ton book breaking upon the ground. "I... I don't know..." Luna stuttered, still trying to understand what he was hinting at. "Over civilians 100,000 people in total were annihilated in fire. All of them innocent and had done nothing. And the best part of this bloody war? It was to merely test how much damage it could do. Not to end the war, but just to get statistics on it's damage level. Those are kind of leaders my world had. My own damn country to top it all!" Malus shouted, burning to shredded book to a crisp. "And that was only two bombs that were dropped in that war. We improved them over time, but never used them throughout wars to come, knowing that the power of these bombs was apocalyptic. Knowing if country A used it on contrary B, then everyone would be attacking one another. Thus it kept everyone with such death weapons to refrain from using them. The only thing stopping them was fear of destroying the Earth we loved. But obviously, that didn’t work." Malus said, the fire in his hands dimming with his rage. "And as far as I know, I am the only survivor of my kind." He stated, looking up at me. I could see the sorrow in his eyes. "When the bombs dropped, I… I changed… I became this undead radiated ghoul you see now. But thanks to my new changes, I was able to live off of the radiation or as it is called magic in this world. Hell, how do you think I have master all of these magics? I didn’t learn it, I evolved with it. And I have been strengthening my power over magic throughout the decades in my lonesome. But while I had something to keep myself occupied, I was still damned for a few centuries to live alone in the ruins of my home."He said, taking a pause from his sad story and taking off his demonic gauntlets. He had told me his past, and had answered many questions I’ve was previously ready to search his mind for. While I could see no hint of dishonesty, he spoke with his emotions. While I did feel like I could relate to him with my banishment, I had to stay firm. Like a royal judge, I had to have no personal or emotional connections to the guilty. Yet, I couldn’t help but relate to him. He told me of his world, how alone he has been. He even described how he got hold of his magic and what he was. Yet there was one question remaining. "How did you get to equestria?" "I made a tear in reality." He simply answered. "Describe this tear." I demand, mentally facehoofing as I realized I was not the one in control. "You are in no position to make such demands." He started with a cold tone, swaying his hand, changing the scenery from a city of ashes to a empty forest in mid day of summer. "Now that I’ve answered your questions, why don’t I get some for myself?" He stated, his voice echoing with power as he began to change forms. His body was then shrouded in a black fog that warped the light around himself. I then gasped at what came next. "Welcome to hell" a demonic voice spoke, the gravity of the dark voice changing the landscape once again. The air burned like battery acid, stinging my eyes and ears with extreme pain. The ground beneath my hooves shook, nearly losing my balance. I glanced around the area, now burning with eternal hellfire as the damned souls of the unforgiven suffered. I looked at where Malus once stood, finding a monstrous being of bones. The only thing resembling Malus was his mask, now dripping with darkness. He was twice the height he one was, as his robes changed to match his form, but now just a cloak of darkness. He was floating a good foot above the ground, holding a huge ungodly scythe of death. I could see her faded reflection in the metal. But as I stared into the blade, I could see the the souls of the damned bound within. Millions, if not billions, filled that curved blade as I began to hear the cries of despair. I then began to see faces of ponies, some I knew, other I didn’t. "See the sins you bring, your soul will bleed." The cold, powerful voice whispered into my ear. "The blood of the innocent will be heard, my judgment is forever." The voice spoke, driving the blade into my heart. I gasped, not from the pain, but rather the coldness entering my soul, filling every nook of my mind with burning poison, melting down to my core being. "Damnation now upon you, know your hate!" That was the last I heard before screams is all I knew. Celestia, the Sun Princess of Equestria, was having the worst time of her life. Her sister, Luna, had been in a constant battle for the last three days. But it didn't start like this. Luna was close to breaking into the evil mind that was named Malus Messor. But when she did, it seemed she had overcome his power. Around an hour latter, Luna began shaking violently with sweat matting her fur. She then started to wail unholy screams as she was surly suffering his wraith. And it didn't stop when the moon set. No. She continued to be in constant pain if her screams were any indication. And she kept it up for the next three days, wailing like a mad mare and screeching like a banshee. Celestia had been by her side the whole time, holding her hoof through it all. The best doctors of Canterlot had been called to aid her sister, all unable to ease her suffering. But it was on the fourth sunset that her suffering had subsided and her screams had died down. Yet she still was sleeping, not waking from her once horrific slumber. By now, Celestia was burning with anger as much with worry for her younger sister. She had barely rested through the whole ordeal, too worried door the well being of her sister. All of this was taking a toll on both her body and mental state. The Luna's bedroom's door open to reveal a night guard holding a scroll. "I already told you that I will not be doing day court nor will I take any massages from anyone." Celestia hissed, displeased by the guards lack of strict orders. "It is not from them princess, it's a message from Mal-" He didn't get a chance to finish as Celestia swiped the scroll away and quickly opened it. She narrowed her eyes as she read the handwritten letter, soon growling as she finished reading the scroll's content. "Guard, get a chariot ready for Ponyville, " The sun goddess said, her mane aflame and eyes burning red with hate. Her rage taking form as her body burned with power as the scroll was inconsiderate in her magical grasp. "I'm going to end this once and for all." > Chapter 9: Slaughter Of The Everfree > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Just as expected." I whispered with delight, smiling under my mask. Based on the reports, Celesta was quickly building her forces in Ponyville. But first, I must admit, this wasn't my original plan. But thanks to Luna's intervention into my mind, I’ve had to formed a new one on the go. While this new plan is not as complicated and a bit less full proof, it was going down either way. My new plan? Thanks to Luna's strong connection with Celestia, I had gathered enough information to fully predict her reactions to my next moves. And so far, it's is going perfectly. First, I needed to distract Celestia to build up my forces. And thanks too my superiority over Luna's subconsciousness, I had trapped her into her own eternal nightmare. The coma would be only be temporary, being fueled by her own fears and magic. The only way to end it was to cut off her magical signature or depleting her of magic. This had been enough to completely distract her from my forces arming up and rebuilding the fort. Once my forces were armed and ready, I cut off my hold on Luna's broken mind, ready to see her next actions. But she did nothing, still at her sister's bedside until she was awake. This was not to big of a surprise, seeing as Celestia and Luna were sisters with a strong bond. To be separated for a thousand years and then suddenly be separated once again must have taken taken a toll on the sunbut's mind. So I did the most obvious thing. I sent her some mail, detailing how much fun I had with her little sister. This had been the final straw to ignite the anger she had kept boiling down. And boy. I could feel the wrath of the sun from here! All pissed and blind by rage. This was almost too perfect. And thanks to Luna being updated on the modern Equestria military, I had all of their battle plans stored away in the back of my mind. Again, this was too easy. I could already taste the blood of my completely massacred enemy. Hell, this forest will be written as the next bloodiest battle in Equestria. All to be played out in my own style. This almost felt like one of those command and conquer games. Except this time, I held all of the card. It was just a matter on how I played them out. But how will I do this? Well it is true that I am outnumbered 30 to 1 with enemy that can use both magic and has air superiority. Even with those odds, I was going to the victor of this battle. How could I accomplish such a thing? They forgot one very important thing. I am Malus Messor, and their battling on my terms. Thanks to my mastery in Corruption Magic, I was able to subdue the Tree of Harmony. And that powerful crystal tree is the reason why the forest is so uncontrollable. But when I corrupted the tree and it's elements, I gained it's mighty power. While I could use these gems to aid me in battle, I decided to go another route. A much more tactical route to be exact. Using my Corruption Magic once again, I infected the raw power known as the Elements of Harmony. In doing this, I created a infectious magic that binds both wildlife and plant life to my will. From the trees high to the mice below, the Everfree Forest was under my magical domain, ready to fight and die at a moment's notice. I had literally turned this forest into both a deadly weapon and protective shield of life and magic. And the best part that keeps me laughing? The Equestrians have no idea they were about to trap themselves within my deathly cold grasp. I had exactly a hundred battle trained Diamond Dogs, all of then trained to kill till their last breath. They were all fitted in a plain gray uniform, fitted with some leather padding over the joints. Next they had a long sleeved steel chain shirt over their protective padding. And finally, I had fashioned finest steel armor known. While the armor was on the heavier side, it did not hinder them. Since most Diamond Dogs could lift boulders twice their size, the added protection did not hinder their movement whatsoever. Every armor set was also enchantment to take the beating and absorb blunt blasts magic related attacks. I also added some basic steel bracers to go over wrists. Since their paws were overly huge, normal knight gauntlets were out of the question. But one thing that changed everything was a solid steel helmet. But the special thing about this helmet was the enchantments I place on it. In a sense, it was a communication link. But instead of giving battleground Intel, it gave direct orders and skills into their minds. Thanks to Luna's memories when she was training to become a warrior, I could literally download this training into the helms without a problem. Thus, turning each one of my dogs into a trained killing machine. Thanks to that helmet alone, it solved all the time that could have been wasted on training. But no warrior is a true badass without his signature weapon! All of them were armed with a sharp Roman Javelin. This deadly spear like weapon was half metal with a sharp and strong spear tip while the other half was a wooden handle. These Javelins were enchanted to absorb most forms of magical energy, perfect for raining chaos through magical barriers. But as wonderful as these weapons were, my horde needed blade, thus I made short, double edge sword with a scabbard. These were also enchanted to absorb magic as well to give a good enough blast of electricity to melt stone. My warriors were also equipped with a simple steel dagger as a backup if things came too close for comfort. And the final thing I made for my new and trained soldiers was a shield. But this shield was no ordinary shield. It was a Roman style Scutum Shield. While I had to design it to be fitting for Diamond Dogs, it did the same amount of protection as it originally would. Add this all up with a hundred strong and armored Diamond Dogs. Believe me, this was a sight to behold. These were my soldiers, ready to die and kill for the glory of my Empire. But there is one question left out of all of this. How did I make a exactingly a hundred sets of enchanted armor and weapons? That was quite an easy answer. I just simply used the huge boost from the Tree of harmony to increase my production tenfold. Though it took two whole days to make all of armor sets and weapons. While forging took most of my time, the spells were much easier to cast. Like copy and pasting, that is what I did for a good half of the third day. The other half of the third day I rested in my throne. I also assigned Zeke to organise our trading with the other Diamond Dogs, promising to keep the deal after we dealt with the ponies. The fourth day, I continued to spread and strengthen my corrupting magic throughout the Everfree, completely taking over all of the plant life in the forest. I also rested most of that day as well, saving up my magicka for the raging bitch. When I was finally finished resting, I sent my massage and took part in a feast of the future battle to come. It was now the fifth day since my encounter with Luna, and Celestia had massed up a three battalions. Her forces ranged to around 1,000 Earth ponies, 1,000 Pegasi, and 1,000 Unicorns. This all totalling up to 3,000 ponies armed in gold and wielding silver weapons. All of them lead by none other than the royal nusense named Princess Celestia. And she has just started her march into the forest. Oh goody! Time for war! Or better yet, the slaughterhouse! The two forces met in a open dirt field, cleared of all vegetation. The leveled field stretched a bit over a square mile, giving plenty of room for both sides to battle. Celestia had her forces in formation. The earth ponies were obviously on the front lines, ready to get down and dirty with my warriors. The Surprisingly, the unicorns were positioned close to the Earth Ponies, using multiple magic shields to block attack going through, but allowing swords to go out. This kind of tactic was obviously used for something similar as mass riots. Ha! They think my deadly hounds are mere angry rioters? How disappointing. Most of the Pegasi were station in the back. While there are a six teams of scouts, mostly used for battle reports and observing enemy movement. The rest of the airborne Pegasi were most likely to be used in the second wave in their completely obvious plan. Their plan? Based on my knowledge, she was going let the dogs charge in like some mad animals. When my forces were close enough, The ponies would heavily push from both the left and right, cutting a line through my forces. If this went down, she would have over half of my troops surrounded and slaughtered. The rest of my troops would flee as any dumb Diamond Dogs do if scared. Then the bombardment of the Pegasi would commence, scattering my soldiers to a few frightened survivors. Then the main forces would continue onwards and invade my now guardless fort. This would happen, if I was dumb and ignorant like any other villain they’ve faced before. But unlike all before me, I have the most deadly weapon in my arsenal. Knowledge is a key to a door of victory, and I have billions of keys. The vast amount of knowledge I have does not only surpasses both Celestia and Luna, but the ability to instantly access such information on a whim is the true factor to my superiority. If anything, my mind was a magical grid of magic and knowledge, running at the pace of a high powered digital computer. After all, knowledge is power. And if I’m right, I testing the limits of John Dalberg’s famous quote; “power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely”. Now add my merciless and efficient soul into this magical mess, I am a monster you do not want as a enemy. For every foe will blow on their crippled knees, not bagging, but accepting their doomed fates into oblivion. And thanks to my knowledge, I can clearly see through her plans. My plan? Well, I am going to avoid this wasting of my soldiers by foiling the first part of Celestia’s plan. I would not send my forces to charge like wild mongrels. Instead, I will let them come to me. They can’t make my troops go to them, so they will have to come to me if they wish to battle. And let’s just say that they didn’t get the memo immediately. Thus, there was a long, very long, awkward staring contest between the two of us. I was safely on my throne in my upgraded fort. Using my magic, I was observing the land from a bird's eye view, giving exact orders through my magical communicational link to my troops. Thankfully, Celesta finally gave the order to advance. The Earth Ponies charged across the field, the battle had begun, bloodshed was now imminent. Once the ponies were a in range, I gave the order for death. A hundred Enchanted Javelins were sent soaring into the air, raining spears of death down upon the ponies. Thanks to the enchantments, they sliced through the magical shields like jello and speared the ponied below. As predicted, they immediately fell into chaos and became completely disorganized. My dogs did not charge, but marched with in rhythm. They also chanted a song I made, sounding dark and giving of an area of power with their voice. This was both to confuse the enemy and permanently burn fear into my enemy. “Onwards! We march to war!” “To war!” “To war!” “TO WAR!” “Through the Waters of Evil, we conquer all!” “For my father, I bring honor to the family!” “For my mother, I defend her land!” “For my brothers, I fight to the neverend!” “I will bring death upon the sinful, forever we shall stand.” “For my family, I stand strong!” “For honor, I never will surrender!” “For the empire, I fight for my holy Lord!” “None among us fear death, we are the Undead!” “To war!” “To war!” “TO WAR!” “Onwards! We march to war!” At that last line, my dogs began to tear through their disorganized ranks. The few ponies that put up a fight, were stabbed and gutted, as were the rest that found themselves caught in shock. The Unicorns were quicker to reorganized and formed group shields, trying to block to marching dogs. They began blasting magic at random, trying to stop the wall of death that had already devoured 400 in minutes. Their attacks were useless as the their armor and shields held up, completely unaffected. My troops tore through their magical shields, still holding a strong formation as they mercilessly slaughter the ponies. To my surprise, some of the dogs were still chanting in rhythm with each of their deadly strikes. This made me smile as I watched and mentally gave orders to push forward. As they pushed through, they grabbed their Javelins from the pony corpses and aimed at new targets. Thanks to their massive strength, they could throw them much farther the a human. Add the installed training, their accuracy was perfect. By now, my dogs have split into squads of ten, chasing small groups and taking out the remaining ponies one by one. Celestia scouts have just arrived to inform Celesta of the battle, telling of the mass murder of her guards. Damn! I could feel her rage explode from here! Celestia was now on the move, giving out unknown orders to her pegasi guards. The guards quickly became airborne and when into formation around Celestia. As I observed, they formed Y-Diamond formation I learned from Luna. The battalion was split into three groups, each making a diamond formation. I classed the three groups as Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie. Alpha and Charlie were comprised of 250 soldiers while Bravo had a total of 500 Guards. Celestia was obviously in Bravo as I could sense her massive magical energy concentrated in the center. The three groups then Joined together in a Y shape. Alpha and Charlie in a V formation, Alpha on the left and Charlie on the Right. Bravo was in the I and stayed to protect Celestia and connect the groups. While they formed for attack, I had my troops quickly gather their Javelins and regroup as one. By the time the pony reinforcements gathered, my horde was ready. My Diamond Dogs were still a hundred strong and drenched in crimson. Quickly, they formed a huge circle and raised their shields into a dome of metal. The ponies sill charged with spears and swords, unknowing that the shield wasn't meant for protecting from the ponies. My plan was halfway complete of annihilating the ponies. The first part was destroying the enemy ground forces and send them retreating. Unknown to the ponies, I had control of this forest. And all enemies to the Empire are sentenced to death. With this thinking, I merely waited as all of the surviving ponies retreated to their deaths. The moment the last of the surviving ponies were in the woods, I closed off all exists, trapping the scrambled remains of the Unicorn and Earth Pony battalions. The trees molded together, forming a tall wall of wood and magic. The wall stretched and encased all around the Everfree Forest, escape now impossible. The wall of trees created a magical dome over and around the forest, all forms of magical escape doomed. A sinister smile crept across my undead flesh, I gave the final order, releasing all of the wildlife into a murderous frenzy. Nothing was going to survive, these ponies were damned to the slaughterhouse of the wild. Also, let's say the bloody screams could be heard all throughout the Everfree Forest. I was sure all of the inhabitants of Ponyville are forever going to be scared. Without Luna to aid them from the nightmares, the neighboring residence are sure to spread the story of my wraith with the haunting screams. Anyways, as that problem was dealt with, I focused on taking out my airborne enemy. Ponies have said that the weather of the Everfree forest is uncontrollable. While this is true, the reason was completely unknown. Since I corrupted the Tree of Harmony, I have control of this weather. The tree was not a living being like me or the ponies, but of pure magic. The leftovers of this magic cased the the tree to bind with the forest and it's wildlife. But the trick is that the weather was also stained with it's magic. Sadly, where the forest borders end, that is where my control of the weather also ends. That matters little at the moment. These ponies were in my territory, and I had control of the sky. With my strong mental consecration, I formed a dark storm of lightning, surrounding the ponies. Before I went further, I cast a back magical dome over my Diamond Dogs, protecting them from the coming storm of death. Celestia's forces saw this and began to push the storm away like any other normal cloud. But upon contact, their hooves melted by the magic acid. Alpha and Charlie began to quickly diminish in numbers as they fell to their deaths. The ones that did manage to survive and dive away from the deadly fog were quickly struck by lightning. Their lighter armor had copper, which instantly attracted the bright bolts upon them. Celesta was quick to see my plan and formed a golden sphere over Bravo and survivors of Alpha and Charlie. I counted around 400 confirmed kills, leaving approximately 600 pegasi left. Celestia then roared with fury and sent a shock wave of golden magic. This blast disconnected my control of the storm. The dark clouds suddenly formed into massive bodies of magical acid and deadly chemical. The storm then splashed onto the bloody battlefield, burning the bodies in both chemical and magical reactions. In mere moments, the once littered field of the dead was cleansed of all organic and tainted in poison. Thanks to my magical shield, all of my Diamond Dogs survived the unexpected acid rainstorm. I sighed, glad to see that my forces survived. I now focused back onto the last of Celestia's forces. She was burning with so much magic that her guards had to make good distance away from being burned. She was absolutely pissed, and ready to bring it all down on me. "MALUS MESSOR!" She yelled in the Royal Canterlot Voice. "I wish for no more of my ponies to die. Come out and let's end this. You and me." She said, clenching her teeth as her body was nothing but flames. "I thought you would never ask." My voice echoed throughout the sky. I summoned my Diamond Dogs back into the safety of the castle. I appeared a few dozen yards away from the flaming bitch. Celesta ordered her guards out on the sidelines, giving us enough space to battle. We stood in toxic mud Her hooves making glass upon contact with the dirt. We stood, my arms raised with magic, her horn ablaze. This is it. This is the battle that was change the course of history as we know it. Now its time to... "FIGHT!" To be continued Motherfucka!~ > Chapter 10: Legends Never End > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now, before I go into details of our skirmishing, I must say that this was a not a fight, but a battle for the fate of the future. If you were viewing the battle from a normal person's comprehension, all you would see is fire and blinding flashes, most of it thanks to Celestia's rage. But before I begin, I must say this first, I now fully know why Equestria is such a peaceful place. Not that she was hypnotizing or manipulating everyone. Okay, I might have lied on that part, but it definitely was not love and tolerance that kept this country from being threatened into war. It was the fact that everyone believed that she was a god. And she had a lot of false proof to back it up. The badlands? Hell, that was Southern Equestria over 1200 years ago. Southern Equestria were once a huge farming and mining state. Equestria was originally 4 huge states with a mixed version of american politics, just ponified in a medieval era. Now why am I talking about this? Well, the four states became two, North Equestria and South Equestria. Long story short, they went to war fight over political wrongs done by both sides. Anyways, both Celestia and Luna were in their late-mid teens when the Equestrian Civil War broke out. The two sisters were raised in Northern Equestria as the last living alicorns. Luna, being naive and super stupid, wished on a nearby commit to stop the ongoing war... Let's just say that said commit was basically a huge floating mountain range of rare metals... And little Luna accidentally struck the south with the wraith like effects of a god. In moments, the south was no more than a wasteland of gold. Luna was more then horrified after learning that she had killed an entire country. While Luna was horrified, Celestia took the opportunity and started her reign over the north. It only took a month for her rising of power to dominate all of the surviving land. Thanks to the all believing myth that she used the raw magical power of the sun to turn the south to golden dust had instantly brought her to the status of "Sun Goddess". Adding the fact that Celestia was a natural born immortal Alicorn just increasingly buffed the myth to everyday fact. And thanks to the commit of riches, Equestria has been the number one trading economy ever since. Now if I was a leader country that had no knowledge of the truth and only knew her lies. I would do anything to not anger her or end up like South Equestria. But I was no fool. I was Malus Messor, The Lord of Bones, and I know the truth. Celestia had control of the sun, that was true. She was a alicorn, powerful one at that, and was able to level a building to a pile of ash. But erasing entire nations with a single strike? That was completely insane. And she used fear to bring these ludicrous myths to blinded history. And that is what kept her on the immortal throne. Sadly, when the little sister wants some of the power, she goes by blackmailing her sister with the truth. Celestia being the power hungry beast she is, answered quite cruelly. She literally beat the shit out of Luna, erased her memories, replaced them with her story, and bluntly banished her to the moon. Hell, she personally cured Luna with Nightmare Moon while she beat the ever living shit out of her. With no other witnesses to the truth, all was left to do was give the public another damn lie. Nightmare Moon is not a creation of jealousy, but a lie Celestia fed everyone. Celestia was not a person of all that is good and holy, in fact, she was quite the opposite. This Princess is a manipulative bitch that had fooled the world to her bidding. Going as far to banish her sister and wipe her memories to keep her power. She is no god. If Celestia's true personality had turned into physical form, she would a monster for all to fear. She would be a huge towering menace with a forked tongue of lies with eyes of a scheming thief. Her claws taking everything to feed the never ending greed of a feral dragon. And she had it all at her beckoning call. The true Celestia was a lying, spoil, bullying bitch that has had her way for too long. And I am here to being her tyranny to an end. The two of us, now standing in the toxic waste of mud, ready to bring the fate of the world. Then, in the blink of an eye, we charged. A moment later, my sword and her horn clashed, both of us trying to gain dominance over each other. "This is the end, Malus!" She taunted, her magic burning like the pits of hell. With her burning horn against my sword, my blade began to crack under the intense heat. Two seconds later, my wonderful Dragonbone sword began to melt like cheap plastic and quickly exploded like a pack of C4. Both of us were sent back, barely damaged from the blast, leaving my sword shattered into broken glass sized bits. I quickly got up and looked for my foe. She was, if anything, a inferno of her now unbound rage. Her mane was ablaze in a haze of whitish blue flames as was her eyes. Her burning rage was clear as day, she was pissed and was ready to do everything in her power to make me suffer. "Your evil end now!" She roared, her horn setting off a blast wave of fiery death. I encased myself within my magical dome, the flames violently dancing across my magic. Once the wave of fire died down, I charged, basting through the smoke and raising my fist for the killing blow. Celestia had only a glance up before landed a punch straight into her muzzle. She skidded across the mud and finally stopped in a ditch, her fur stained in mud and her muzzle bleeding profoundly. Her face was drenched in her blood as she laid there, not moving. Holy shit! I just knocked her out! With just one punch! As I let my thoughts run amuck, I noticed the dirt around Celestia began to scorch and smolder at an alarming rate. Her mane ignited once again, this time sending another blazing explosion of hatred. Quickly I raised my shield wards mere seconds before the frontal blast wave of hell hit me. And it hit me hard. My shields held up to the raging inferno, but only to quickly diminish as the heat subsided. I opened my eyes, seeing the fire like blood soak Celestia's face. She was looking at her bloody hoof, her anger becoming a snarl. She looked up at me, seeing me unharmed by her rage. We locked eyes once again, staring down each other, seeing who would break first. And surprisingly, she broke first. "I must admit. You are unlike any villain I have faced before. Not only have you defeated my prize student, but have terrorized my sister in your wicked torment. And now, we have come to draw. What is is you come for?" She asked. This is something I did not expect. Well, Luna's knowledge isn't quite up to date with the mind of her sister, but this is still strange of her. She has by my knowledge, never attempted to compromise with a "Evil Villain". This should indeed be interesting. "I originally came too this land for sanctuary. Yet, while I've been here longer the four weeks, I've found that this land and it's history is as corrupted as my own. And to top it all, I have seen all kinds of terrible and unthinkable crime committed by this country. No, I'm not here to solve them. I am standing here to gut the snake that brings toxic venom among the innocent people. I come not for the people or for the conquest of this brainwashed country, but for head." I said, pulling out both my 1911 Punisher Pistols. This action seemingly scaring the once rage filled bitch. She took a few steps back, her belief of being a god quickly diminishing. "But you are right on one thing Celestia, I'm not your average villain. *Check-Check* I am your Judge, Jury and Executioner." I roared, firing my handguns. In the blink of an eye, my guns... Did nothing.... What? I looked down at the guns, looking over them for any damages. Finding nothing wrong, I emptied the Mags, finding a piece of paper in one of the empty mags. I picked it up and opened the paper, only to squint my eye as I read the enraging text. You never asked for any bullets dumbass! ~The Merchant "That motherfucking piece of shit-" I never got to finish my ranting as I was blasted with nuclear bomb levels of power. And without my wards, I got hit, hard. I flew through the burning blast of fire, my body burning with pain as I was roasted alive. I then landed hard onto my back, my arms and legs splayed out. I opened my eyes, as if I had woken up from a instant nightmare. Adrenalin rushed through my body, trying to numb the burning pain of my bodily systems. I looked at my right arm, the once beautifully crafted daedric gauntlet was now nothing more than a scared metal. I growled in anger, hacking black blood in the process. I let my guard down. I had given her an opening and I am suffering for it. I could hear her getting up and trotting over to me. She was going to end me. Good thing I had a backup plan if this was to occur. Even if the cost would be grave. Seeing no other option in sight, I activated my failsafe spell, my purple magic rushing out of my destroyed body. Black mist engulfed my corpse and made my body anew. I began to quickly grow in size and have many changes, my daedric boots and gauntlet burned away as my robes blinded with my ghost like body. After my transformation was complete, I looked down at the now worried Celestia. I was towering over the Alicorn by a good eight feet, casting my deathly gaze to her. My body had turned from physical from to raw magic. My robes had formed into a long crystal black cloak with an area of darkness wrapping the light and colors around it, similar to that of a black hole. My upper chest was exposed, showing my boney rib cage as small back serpent like vines slithered around my bones. These black snakes all ended up connecting to my ever so beating black heart. The clasp for the cloak also seemed to be right above my deathly heart. The bones in my arms and hands were shattered, only to be held together by back like mist that flowed around the bones, flowing in the shape of rotten transparent muscles. My hands were black serrated claws that could snatch the souls out of anyone I touched. In my right hand, I held a staff made of the black misty crystals that emanating a toxic white glow. But it was not the staff that truly frightened Celesta, it was what laid under the hood. Most of my head was shrouded in pitch black by my hood. But the few feature that were exposed to the light, were haunting to all. My deathly face, a shattered and mangled skull of a face. The bits of bones being held together by a slightly transparent mist forming and flowing like ghost flesh. My lower jaw was completely gone, as well as all of my upper teeth, leaving my lower skull a jagged mess. My mouth was bleeding black blood that formed into my neck that connected with the rest of my broken spine. My nose bone was was bit normal, besides the transparent flow of black mist flowing out and around my head, it was normal. My eyes were completely gone, leaving the empty eye sockets to be shaded in a void of darkness. The only thing there was a little light, a spark if you will, burning out through the darkness, and staring down at the pony before me. "I am the incarnation of Death, the reaper of worlds, the curse of all that is vile."I announced, my voice reeking of decay and power beyond this realm. Celestia began to mutter with absolute fear. "I am Malus Messor, and I commend you to burn your sins, mortal." I echoed darkly, quickly casting the sun princess into my darkness, devouring her body whole. No sound of misery or that of pain echoed from her, just absolute silence of the dead. In an instant, her mortal soul was erased from existence devoured to continue mine. A invisible blast wave echoed throughout the toxic battlefield, sucking life essence from the remaining Royal Guards, their souls fueling to the creation of my new form. Victory was mine, Celestia was no longer, but at the cost of my own body. But my legend does not end in my death, only brings rise to a new tale. While I may not be able to take physical form or wake from this grave, I can be reborn into anew. Even if it my cost me the last bits of my humanity, my legacy will passed down to my successor, my perfect creation. With all of my might and last bits of humanity, I began to quickly forge my incarnation of death. His name... Lord Merciless.
