Parting Regrets
It's been a while since the Mane Six has helped Princess Luna conquered her guilt over Nightmare Moon, as well as reuniting with Twilight's old friends. The council has gotten reports that Starlight Glimmer, an old enemy of the heroes back when she ruled a village of equalized ponies, tried to recruit them into her army but luckily, she was stopped. Starlight Glimmer is once again back on the run but who knows what she would do next?
The council sat at the table, deciding on what to do next. Rainbow comments, "Well, I don't know about you girls, but I feel beat."
"I got a good night ready after that business with our nightmares." Rarity said, sighing as she pat her own mane. "I'm glad Luna finally got over her guilt. I hate for her negative side to come into Equestria."
"So anything else we need 'ta do, Twilight?" Applejack ask Twilight curiously.
"There's one bit of business we need to deal with." Twilight said seriously.
Just then Discord poofs into the room, reading a book while saying, "Hello! Twilight summoned me and I felt the urge to pop on by."
"Oh yes, thank you, Discord, for you are involved."
"In what?" Discord yelps as Twilight fires a blast at him. "Whoa, whoa, hey!"
"Twilight, what gives?" Ben ask Twilight in surprise. "He is on our side again. I mean we forgave him for the business with the current Smooze!"
"It involved the Total Drama Equestria thing a while back." Twilight said sternly. "And that jerk asshole Tuerto."
"Huh? Don't we feel sorry for Tuerto because of what the princesses told us?" Pinkie ask, scratching her mane confused. "Or was it just me? Or maybe we're pretending to..."
"Pinkie. I did felt sorry for him...until the princesses told me the whole story...of how he made anti-mare remarks, insult fat ponies, and other stuff I can't say in front of Fluttershy! Not only that, I found out that Discord edited the footage a bit to make it seem like he was a tragic character! I saw the true footage...and got pissed!”
Most of everyone glares at Discord. He chuckles uneasily before adding, "Okay, I admit. I did edit the footage...but I feel like it isn't necessary to spoil what he's really like too soon! Honest! Chris made me do it!"
"No he didn't." Applejack said dryly. "Chris didn't even knew about him yet."
"Okay, so I did it but it's all for the good of the script! Please forgive me! I was doing what was good for the show!" Discord transforms himself into a prisoner, black and white striped outfit and all, wearing chains as he grovels. "I throw myself at the mercy of the court!"
"Ick. That prison look is soooo disgusting." Rarity remarks in disgust.
"Oh, enough." Ben sighs a bit. Discord transformed back. "We forgive you...but fully if you help us."
"Yes, we feel bad because of how we treated the Total Drama cast during the season, how we thought that the contestants were being killed off and at one point tried to keep them hostage along with the fact that we were treating some of the contestants badly (except for Scott)." Twilight explains with a sight.
"Like not believing Harold when he was framed thus causing his elimination.." Fluttershy said recalling Harold's problem.
"Karma's bad luck on Ezekiel. Oh, speaking of which, Discord, I know you edited that scene with Ezekiel to make it look like he wants Karma to fall off a cliff and saw the true stuff."
"Okay, fine, but the whole thing was Zeke's idea as he wanted a three girl final three. He just wanted to make it that far anyway." Discord remarks, crossing his arms. "Ezekiel didn't really say that about Karma, get off me!"
"As well as Nyx's threats towards Staci." Ben said recalling before pausing. "Actually, scratch that. The fat witch is a big stupid liar."
"Anyway, long story short, we wanted to bring them back, or at least contact the cast, to apologize." Rainbow said, rolling her eyes. "But we're having trouble in contracting them...and we have been doing the universe communication thing for a long time now."
"Well, leave it to me." Discord said, smiling as he rub his hands. "You want to kiss and make up, minus the kissing part? Oh, you got it."

"Well, this is certain to be interesting..." Dakota smiled as she and Ezekiel came out.
"Indeed, eh." Ezekiel said as he soon re-joined the others.
Heather looked around as all forty of the others were here as Heather sighed. "Guess we're all good to go, then..."
Everybody nodded as they were about to leave...
When all of a sudden, their watches started to beep.
Gwen paused as she looked at her watch. "What the fuck? What is going on with our watches? Do the Mane Six REALLY need us this soon?"
"Well, we better go see what they want." Trent said in concern.
Everybody nodded as they pushed their buttons.
"Hello, hello?" Twilight's voice asked.
"Hey, Twilight. What's wrong?" Gwen asked.
"Oh, thank God!" Twilight sighed in relief, "Me and the others have been trying to call you, but for some reason, we've been getting the wrong numbers!"
"Well, duh." Bucky said as he peeked into Heather's watch. "Our world is a little farther from yours..."
Twilight sighed. "Okay, I definitely know we got the right world."
"Because Bucky's my boyfriend?" Heather blinked... before shaking her head. "Never mind. What is it, Twilight?"
"Well, we first got a different Total Drama world, that didn't seem to know what we were talking about... it wasn't until we realized there were different Total Drama dimensions that... never mind." Twilight sighed. "Look, we have a reason we made this call. Would you mind if we took a few minutes of your time?"
"Eh, start talking." Courtney said as everyone sat down. "It's your nickel."
Twilight nodded as she took a deep breath...

"We're sorry..."
Most of the Total Drama cast just blinked in confusion as they looked at each other. Most of them shrugged as Bridgette asked, "For... what, exactly?"
"Everything, actually." Twilight sighed. "Harold, do you remember the episode where we thought you called us bitches?"
"I told you, that wasn't me!" Harold yelped.
"Well, we still believe that you called us bitches... just a bit." Twilight said. "But we know you had your best intentions in your heart and we know you were just having fun... and we did get angry for no reason."
Harold paused. "Well, I suppose you did."
"Also, I'm not sure who really did it, but whoever it is, I'm sure they'll be punished soon. Point is, can you forgive us for... well, being a jerk to us?"
"Fine." Harold sighed. "If it makes you feel better."
Twilight smiled. "Awesome. There's also another matter... in the episode before the season finales. Ezekiel, we saw the true footage, and we want to say we're sorry we got mad at you for being an insult to Karm-"
"That filly? I meant every word of that!" Ezekiel frowned.
"...what?" Twilight and the others peeked through the camera in shock.
"Well, sort of!" Ezekiel groaned. "I do mean I want her to jump off a cliff... but not quite in the extant. I mean, witnessing all that bad luck... it wasn't really fun. Karma's nice and all, but... I'm sort of afraid of her and her family right now!"
"I'm sorry to say this, but we kind of agree with Ezekiel." Lindsay sighed as she looked down, everybody else nodded. "We saw the entire episode for review the day after we left to have a binge-like review of the season... and Ezekiel told us that Karma DID kill his game. He can handle little fillies... but not Karma..."
"...Duly noted." Twilight said as she looked towards Discord who shrugged. "...well, I guess we're just going to have to tell Karma and her family that Ezekiel doesn't want to babysit anymore."
"Yeah, after seeing that whole point of view... I guess we can see why you would think of that of Karma." Rainbow looked down.
"...well... can you still forgive us then, nevertheless?" Twilight asked.
"Eh, I suppose. But try to make sure I'm at least ten feet away from her. She's nice, but I'm sort of afraid of her!" Ezekiel sighed.
"Noted." Twilight said. "Staci... we want to..."
Staci looked up in hope.
"...say that my black furred daughter meant every word and we agree with her, so just give your hopes up! We'll never saying sorry to you!" Twilight laughed. "I mean, SERIOUSLY? SpaceRatLives REALLY thinks I'm going to find forgiveness from you? Oh my Celestia, this is fucking hilarious!"
Staci looked down as B shook his head. "Come on, take it easy on Staci. She just recovered from a suicidal binge."
"I'm sorry, but I can't take this last part of the plotline SpaceRatLives suggested seriously!" Twilight said as she pulled out a script. "I have to apologize for threats towards Staci? HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!"

After a few minutes of Twilight and the Mane Six laughing, with Discord sitting on the side, Fluttershy coughed. "There is also the matter of a couple other things... first of all, Spike, Phobos and Ben Mare want to apologize for..."
Heather yelped as she said, "Tell them all is forgiven, but they were complete jerks!"
Heather sighed in relief as she said to herself, "Don't want MORE people finding out about my stuffed cat."
Bucky whispered, "The one I gave you?"
"You know it." Heather whispered.
"Also, we want to apologize to Duncan and Courtney for..." Rainbow started.
"What was there to apologize about? We cheated on that challenge!" Courtney frowned.
"Yeah, your daughter came to comfort us for CHEATING! That's kind of hypocritical!" Duncan said.
"...Oh, right. We forgot you cheated in that one." Twilight sighed. "Never mind, we withdraw that apology."
"We also want to apologize for the Mystic Ponies' behavior when you all came to visit." Rarity explained. "I know they sound racist against humans, but they're really kind ponies."
"It's not that." Dawn sighed. "I mean, the audience was more interested in us than your pony backstories... I mean, who cared about the other characters..."
"Actually... we do have apologies of our own..." Gwen said. "First, not telling you we were humans from the start..."
"You only did it just to be part of the game..." Twilight said.
"Raiding your dreams..." Bridgette started.
"It's fine, really." Twilight said.
"Stealing most of your stuff." Gwen said. "And taking it all home with us."
"We for- what?" Fluttershy said in shock.
"Nothing. Forget what we said!" Dawn said as she kicked a bag offscreen labeled 'Stolen Goods'.
"...and..." Gwen paused. "Actually, that's it. The rest was either our fault or within the game."

Twilight took a deep breath. "I guess that leaves me to the big one then... the whole time when we thought you were held hostage and we did it ourselves..."

"Twilight, you did what you had to!" Noah frowned.

"We're- what?" Twilight blinked. "But... we held you hostage! And built a wall so that you couldn't get out!"

"Exactly, like a protective parent would do!" Trent explained. "You were only protecting us, and that was what your heart was truly doing. True, what you did is unethical..."
"But that's exactly what an Orange Ratchet fic does! Do everything the unethical way!" Geoff smiled.

Twilight blinked. "Orange... Ratchet... fic?"
"Well, when we were dialing our watches to find their dimension... we were pointed the direction of the other dimension..." Pinkie explained as Twilight paused in thought.

FLASHBACK
We see Discord about to snap his fingers to summon the Total Drama portal... then paused. "Why do you need me to summon the portal? Don't you have your watches to communicate with the Total Drama casts?"
"We do..." Twilight sighed. "However, when we tried doing it... we got a different Total Drama world. Watch."
Twilight dialed a number as she dialed a number pretty quickly... before she heard Gwen's voice. "Hello?"
"Hello, Gwen, it's Twilight!" Twilight started.
The Gwen on the other end sighed. "Look, I told you, I'm not buying what you're selling! If you excuse me, I'm waiting for another call from my friends! Good bye!"
Twilight blinked in confusion as the phone hung up. Twilight frowned. "See! Everytime I dial one of their numbers, I get a different Total Drama person who doesn't know us! I don't get it!"
"Hmmm..." Discord paused. "When you decided to call Heather, who did she say she was dating?"
"Alejand- OH!" Twilight gasped. "You think we're getting the dimension counterparts we were SUPPOSED to get, but instead got the other ones..."
"Wait... we weren't meant to get the Total Drama cast we got?" Applejack frowned. "Then... whose dimension variants did we get?"
"...I'll just say this..." Discord sighed as he sat down. "There are many different dimensions around the world... the dimension we got OUR Total Drama cast from... they were too far away to communicate to our world... and... well, you remember Solara, right?"
"The one who brainwashed Tuerto?" Twilight asked. "How could we forget?"
"Well... I've been trying to do more research on this Solara character, and none of it makes sense... BUT... I have a theory on her... she runs her own dimensions, who own worlds... and her enemy, Marcie, just happened to have sent her horse's eye to a different dimension... ours. She needed a link from one dimension of hers to a dimension of OURS in order for this to work... so she seized the opportunity and linked with HER Total Drama world whilst I was trying to get communication with OUR Total Drama world."
"Wait... then... in the final episode of TDE... which Megan, Danny and Molly did we get?" Fluttershy said. "I'm confused!"
"Simple. We got OUR dimension's Megan, Danny and Molly. How do I know? I looked up the dimensions the Total Drama world was from and... it said that Megan from the Total Drama version's timeline was a crazy old lady writing books, and Danny and Molly died of cancer. Coincidence? I think not." Discord explained.
"...Wow." Twilight said. "I... do not believe any of this Solara stuff..."
"I don't think any of us do." Applejack sighed.
"Well, things just don't make sense in the world where the Total Drama people are from..." Rainbow sighed.
"Right... but you know how there's a separate timeline?" Discord said. "Well, when we call them, while a few weeks DID pass here... the timeline the Total Drama cast came from may only be a few days after they left. So... try not to freak them out too much, okay? I'll try to see if I can get your version's..."
"Okay..." Twilight nodded as Discord charged up the watches on the Mane Six's wrists.
Twilight then dialed a number. She then heard a confused Twilight's voice talking. "Hello?"
"Oh!" Twilight blinked. "Um... sorry. I'm trying to reach the Total Drama-Verse."
"Oh, that." The other Twilight sighed. "Just tell Discord to wire the watch, it should be to the left of a now-decaying Fictional Chronicles universe. If you've reached the decaying Cartoon's Final Fantasy universe, you went too far."
"Twilight, come on!" A lazy, male-like voice shouted.
"Yeah! We're getting close to the Greek areas!" Another voice shouted as Twilight saw a gumball machine like character looking in.
"Is that you?" Tom Servo asked.
"Okay, you know the way, good-bye!" The other Twilight said as she hung up the watch.
The Mane Six completely blinked in confusion.

"It took us a couple of tries, but we finally managed." Pinkie smiled.
"Anyway..." Twilight turned. "But we really thought Chris was holding you hostage!"

"You did... but you did manage to feed us well... granted, you didn't feed us real food, like meat." Gwen sighed. "I know some of us are vegetarians, but we need a little meat in our bones, you know?"
"Right..." Twilight sighed. "But can you still forgive us anyway?"
"Twilight, you were being protective, there was nothing wrong with that." Gwen said. "Besides, if you should blame anyone, you should blame your princess. She was the one who planted the ideas in your heads that Chris was evil in the first place!"
"Speaking of... how is Chris?" Rainbow asked.
"He's... actually a little more tolerable." Heather explained. "Granted, it's only been two days since we left your world, but everything is all good."
"Two days? That's how long you guys..." Twilight said in surprise. "...never mind."
"Granted, he'll probably be back to his old tricks again, but hey..." Izzy smiled. "We're all used to it..."
"Say, think we'll have a Total Drama Equestria 2?" Cameron asked.
"...uh, Celestia says we'll wait after you finish your sixth season... or your season five point two, whichever one comes first." Twilight said. "And we'll be having a talk with the princess as soon as humanly possible about her mistake... but I'm sure you can forgive her for that accidental slip."
"Twilight, of course we do!" Mike smiled.
"It wouldn't be Celestia without it." Zoey smiled.
"Right. Well, we'll see you later, then. If we make plans for a Total Drama Equestria 2... you guys will know firsthand." Twilight said.
"Okay, see you later!" Bucky said, hanging up Heather's watch as all the other watches hung up.
"Well... that was certainly... weird." Bridgette said.
"Yeah... but it only makes it set for later on... I wonder what'll happen..." Geoff said.
"Only time will tell... only time will tell..." Gwen shrugged.
As everybody else was talking, Bucky B. Katt was humming a bit as he was starting to file an application. "If this new job gets me an internship for TDE2... oh baby, I'm in!"
