Twilight Sparkle

Twilight Sparkle scrambled around the room, looking for her book on Weather Spells. She groaned in frustration.
"Spike!" she called, waking the baby dragon up. He jumped up, startled. "Where's my Weather Spells for Dummies book?!"
"You woke me up for that?" he mumbled angrily, finding the book where it always was and giving it to Twilight.
"Thanks." she said quickly, opening the book and walking towards the door. She was about to go through the doorway, but stopped in her tracks, for a spider web covered the way out. "Um...Spike?"
"What is it?!" he exclaimed, already back in bed.
"Never mind." Twilight replied, surprised (not really) by his tone. She turned her attention back to the spider web, then smiled. I am so stupid, she thought to herself and picked up a broom with her magic, ready to get rid of the web. She twirled it around the broom and then let out a sigh of relief.
"Hey!" something below Twilight squeaked. Looking down she noticed a little, tiny spider and gasped, scooting away from it. The broom dropped, narrowly missing the spider. "That wasn't very nice of you to ruin my home!"
"Y-you talk!" Twilight managed to say.
"Of course. Don't think I'm crazy. You're a talking unicorn." he replied.
"There has to be some logical way of getting him out of here." Twily whispered. Oh, right! She shot him with her magic, and all that was left of him was black dust. She stood up, now ready to go where she was planning to in the first place.
Unfortunately, a swarm of spiders were waiting right outside. Twilight's face fell. "Uh oh."
"Charge!" the leader yelled, and they all jumped on top of the talking purple unicorn. Don't worry, she survives.

Rarity

"Not now, Sweetie Belle." Rarity scolded, not taking her eyes off of her work. "Can't you go play with Scootaloo and Apple Bloom?"
"Ugh, fine." Sweetie groaned, walking out the door and slamming it behind her. Rarity gave an exasperated sigh. She fastened a large Ruby on the front of the dress she was making, and tied a ribbon around the middle.
Standing back to look at her design, she smiled. "Perfect! But it needs something...Ah, yes. A hat would go perfectly!" Rarity searched in her closet for a yellow sun hat, then brought it over and placed it on the mannequin's head. "Now it's-"
"Mrow!" A sound came from the kitchen, which Rarity identified to be her cat, Opal.
"Opal, are you ok?" Rarity went over to see what was causing Opal to be scared and gasped. "A spider!! Don't worry, Opal! I'm coming!"
As she ran to her cat's rescue, she heard something crunch and looked underneath her hoof. "Eww!" She cried, finding spider guts everywhere. After panicking about germs and things, she thought, Well, at least that icky bug is gone.
Rarity returned to her dress and nearly fainted. Spiders were devouring every last bit of it, and when they turned their attention to the devastated pony in the doorway, one of them shouted "CHARGE!!" They all came at her and trapped her in a web on the wall.
"Gross! Help!!" Rarity cried, but nopony came for a long time. It's ok, she gets helped in the end.

Fluttershy

Fluttershy hummed to herself on her way home from Pinkie Pie's house. She had been helping her decorate for Gummy's birthday party, keeping the secret about the surprise party tomorrow for Pinkie's birthday.
When she got home, she opened the door and went inside. A hummingbird greeted her and hummed Fluttershy's song with her. She was having a perfect day and nothing could ruin it now.
Going into the kitchen, she noticed a full plate of carrots left untouched, Angel Bunny nowhere to be seen. Make that almost nothing.
"Angel, where are you?" Fluttershy called. "There's a full plate of carrots over here waiting for you!" Hearing and seeing no reply, she went to go search for her pet.
In the upstairs bedroom was where she found him, backed up against the wall, a scared expression on his face. Fluttershy immediately saw why and gasped, but not out of terror. She was actually excited to see this specific type of spider.
"Oh my gosh, a Tarantula!" she exclaimed, running over to it. "I've never seen one in pony before!" The spider turned it's attention to her, trying to make itself look more fierce, but the yellow Pegasus's smile only grew. "He is so cute!"
She scooped him up in a hug, and the spider finally gave in. Angel scowled at Fluttershy, a little bit jealous.
"Oh, come on, Angel! He's our guest." she tried to calm him down, but he just hopped away. She shrugged.
"Charge!" squeaked the spider, and a swarm of them jumped on top of her, but not to attack. They all wanted to be held!

Rainbow Dash

Rainbow Dash busted a whole row of clouds at one time, deciding to make her job more entertaining. After she flew through the last cloud, she dove down at top speed. The air pushed against her, but she pushed through. She was almost there...
Boom! She flew up fast, doing the legendary Sonic Rainboom. Below her, a crowd cheered. She landed back on a cloud and watched as they scattered, going back to what they were doing before.
Rainbow was about to return to what she was doing, too, but when she turned to her left she jumped. "Whaa! Wait, what's a spider doing up here?" she questioned, confused. It crawled towards her. "Hey, I-I'm not afraid of you!"
She flew off the cloud, ready to get rid of the cloud. She rammed into it with her head, and the cloud exploded. But the spider jumped off and hovered in the air. "What?!" Rainbow exclaimed.
"Charge!!" the spider commanded and, out of nowhere, a swarm of flying spiders appeared.
"This is way beyond wierd!" Rainbow Dash shouted as she dodged attacks. "I mean, seriously? Flying, talking spiders? What in the world is going on?!"
"Rainbow Dash!" someone called from behind her. She turned around, and the spiders took the chance to pounce.
"AHHHHHHHHHH!!" she cried as she fell to her doom. Don't worry, she survives...more or less.

Pinkie Pie

"Bye, Fluttershy! Byyyye!!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed, even when her friend was out of earshot. She finally quit and went back inside. She had to admit, Flutters and her had done a pretty good job decorating.
"Wow, wouldn't it be terrible if a bunch of spiders ruined it all?" she thought aloud. Bouncing into the bakery to bake some cupcakes for the party, she forgot all about the comment in seconds, focusing on the recipe.
About 25 minutes later, the pink pony opened the oven and smiled at her work. "Perfect!" She took them out, setting them on the counter, then opened the cabinet for frosting. Feeling around, she grabbed what she was looking for, but then felt something crawling up her leg.
"Hey, that tickles!" she laughed and looked down. "Cool! A spider!"
Pinkie let the insect crawl all over her. It then spotted the cupcakes, setting them as it's new target. He jumped off of Pinkie's poofy hair and onto the tray.
"Wait, no, Spidey! Don't eat those!" she exclaimed as he took a big bite. Finally, Pinkie took a fly swatter out of her hair and hit at Spidey. "BAD SPIDEY! BAD SPIDEY!!" She shouted violently.
"Charge!!" Spidey squeaked, growing tired of the game. A swarm of Spideys didn't attack Pinkie Pie, but her decorations.
"Noooooooo!" She fainted. Don't worry, she redecorates in time.

Applejack

View Online

Applejack kicked a tree, and every single apple tumbled into the three baskets around it. She smiled satisfyingly, and moved onto the next. This is how it had gone for the past hour, and how it continued for a while after that.
A scream echoed through the orchard. Alarmed, Applejack ran towards it to find Apple Bloom cowering a few feet away from the tree she was staring at.
"What's the matter, Apple Bloom?" the filly's older sister asked, confused and quite annoyed.
Apple Bloom pointed shakily to one of the baskets underneath the tree. All three of them were filled with apples. "It's i-in there." Applejack squinted into the basket, spotting a small black dot.
Looking closer, she concluded it as being a spider. Scary-looking, but harmless. Or so she thought. "Are ya'll serious? It's just a spider."
"But what if it's poisonous?" Apple Bloom scooted back into another tree as her sister picked up the apple that the creature was on.
"Trust me, it's not." She blew at it and it fell to the ground. "Shoo, git outta here. I don't want you botherin' my sister, ya hear?"
There was a small hint of a scowl on the spider's face that you had to pay close attention to see. As he scurried off, Applejack turned her back to him to face Apple Bloom.
"See, there's nothin' to worry about." But the filly wasn't paying attention to her. Her eyes focused on something behind Applejack. "What is it now?"
"Charge!" A tiny voice behind her squeaked, and she turned around too late. All one thousand of them (Well, Applejack guessed there were one thousand) ran at her, then jumped onto her.
Apple Bloom watched in shock as they began to swarm the trees and soon came after her. "Somepony, HELP!!!" She ran away, headed to the Cutie Mark Crusaders clubhouse, leaving her sister to handle her problem. The spiders didn't bother to chase her. She hadn't done anything wrong.

Apple Bloom

View Online

Apple Bloom scrambled up the ladder to the CMC treehouse, breathing heavily. Both Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo were already there waiting for her.
"Woah, what's wrong, Apple Bloom?" Scoots exclaimed at the disastrous sight of her friend.
"Them-They're coming-Hide!" Apple Bloom stuttered.
"Who?" Sweetie Belle asked in her high-pitched voice,
Apple Bloom took a breath and tried to calm herself down. "The spiders! They attacked Applejack, and I'm sure they aren't far behind!"
Her two friends shared a look. "Attacked? But they're so friendly!" Sweetie squeaked. Apple Bloom then noticed a tiny, red-eyed spider jump out of her hair and onto her hoof, then nuzzle her cheek. Her eyes widened as another did with Scootaloo.
"No! You guys've been poisoned! I can't trust anyone anymore!" She told herself, then ran out of the clubhouse, screaming.
"Wait! Apple Bloom!" Scootaloo called, but she was long gone. "What's up with her?"
Sweetie Belle shrugged and continued playing with her spider. Scoots raised an eyebrow before setting hers down, as well.

Sweetie Belle: Second Encounter

View Online

"Well, Scootaloo, I've gotta go. Rarity's waiting for me at the boutique." Sweetie Belle said after a few minutes.
"Yeah, me too. Rainbow Dash offered to help teach me how to fly today." Scootaloo replied. They both picked up their spiders and went in opposite directions.
Once Sweetie was a few miles from her house, she stopped and set her little friend on the ground. It looked up at her with sad, confused eyes.
"Sorry, Scanner. I have to go home now." Sweetie Belle admitted. She turned to go on walking, but Scanner crawled onto her leg, not wanting to be left alone.
The filly looked down. "Oh, come on, little guy. Go back with you're friends."
The spider didn't budge, so Sweetie attempted to pull him off. After she was inches from the Carousel Boutique, though, the spider was blocking her path.
"Scanner, for the last time, Rarity would be horrified if I let a spider into the house. Move aside! Please!"
Scanner's eyes narrowed. A crowd of spiders began to form around him. They all began to growl.
"Woah, woah, woah. Where did they come from?!"
"Charge!" Scanner squeaked from somewhere in the sea of spiders. And then everything went black for Sweetie Belle as millions of spiders crawled over her. She lives...I think. Well, if not, it would be pretty sad. (Everyone loves Sweetie Belle!)

Scootaloo

View Online

"I can't WAIT to show you to Rainbow!" Scootaloo said to the spider. "Gosh, she's gonna love you! And maybe she'll think I'm brave for playing with a spider! Awe, this is going to be so cool!" Scootaloo had been partially talking to herself, and got a few odd stares from ponies wandering the streets. But as soon as they saw the pin-sized spider, their eyes widened and they scrambled as far away from the pegasus as they could.
Scootaloo didn't notice, of course. She was far too preoccupied to care about small things like being self conscious. But as soon as she heard a very familiar scream, her ears perked up and she looked around in alarm.
"Rainbow Dash?!"
"HEEEEEELP!"
"I'm coming!" Scoots looked down at her spider. "I'll be right back!" And with that, she sped off, dropping it on the ground. As it hit the floor, a small squeak could be heard. And if you looked real close, you'd see the dejected spider scowl, but then smirk soon after.
Scootaloo, a few yards away by now, jumped out of the way just as Dash zoomed past, covered in surprisingly adorable spiders. "Gaaaaaaaaaaaahh!" She was wriggling around, trying to shake them off, but their grip was impossibly strong.
Scootaloo's eyes widened when she heard a whistle, which came from her itsy little spider not too far away.
"Abort! Get the small one instead!"
Scoots's face became pale. Every spider jumped off of Rainbow, causing her to fall to the ground, face first, with a thud.
They moved towards Scootaloo, who backed away muttering to Rainbow Dash, "Um, I'd love to stay and join...Whatever this is, but I've gotta get going..."
With that, she sprinted for her life in the other direction. Unfortunately, it was no use. The insects caught up to her in seconds and swarmed her in a pool of spiders. "Tell Apple Bloom...It should've been HEEEEEEERRRR!" And those were her final words. I would tell you how it ended, but that's not really my job. She woke up in the hospital...
