> Iron mountain > by The Library > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Chapter 1 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Ah've tolerated yer presence within these halls fer ta lon' Celestia. Ah'm nae sellin' mah gold nor armor tu ya." I growled at her as she was looking angry at me, we've been trade partners for years. I've given her metal and precious metals such as gold and silver, my man died in the mountains for her wares. Now that the dragons and gryphon's threaten to invade the kingdom of Equestria she 'forces' me to sell her weapons and armor. "I am asking because our weapons are not the quality you dwarfs can make, it's curial for my soldiers to have the best of the best to fight for the kingdom and defend it." She told me as I released a sigh. "Yer intentions ur noble lass, but ye dunnae 'ave tha back bone ta train yer man ta kill withoot mercy." I said to her as I leaned back into my chair. "Ah'm keepin' meh groond lass, ah. aint. sellin'. nothin'." I slammed my armored fist down on the table in front of me as she and the two guards jumped a little at the sudden move of anger. I motioned one of the guards over, "[Gather some guards and scouts, make sure the ponies get. Nothing.]" I spoke to him in our mother tongue, Dwarvish an ancient tongue only practiced by the dwarfs of the iron mountains. "Noo, ah'd lik ta aks tha ye leave. 'fore ah regret lettin' ye walk oot." I pointed my finger towards the gate, as she shot me one last glare as she walked out of the great halls together with her guards. "[Close the gates!]" I roared through the halls. "[These ponies will get nothing! Not even scrap metal!]" The gates slowly closed as thick metal bars were placed against the doors to seal the doors, shutting the entire mountain down from the outside world. I told everyone that the doors shall remain closed until the need arises that we need to reopen them. -o- The war between the dragons and the gryphon's ended a few years later, the halls and the mountain remained untouched since no creature could get passed the iron defense. A army of runic colossi who guard the gates of the iron mountain. Yet when the doors reopened a surprise would wait for us outside. Once the doors were entirely opened there was standing a lone Celestia with her two guards. I walked towards the entrance as I had my two blades on my back just in case. "Och princess Celestia, wot brin's ye tu oor lonely moontain?" I asked as I was leaning on my one unsheathed blade. "I am here to make peace lord Malgias. Our mines are running low on iron to forge our weapons, we humbly ask you to reopen our trade routes." she asked as she holds her nose high in the air. "An' wot if ah say nae?" I replied. "Then I am forced to take drastic measures towards this act, and it will be seen as treason." She glared at me as I returned it with pleasure. "Ye an wot army, nae even yer army kin stand against mah Iron Defense. Even tha dragons an gryphon's failed ta enter tha halls. 'Ow du ye plan ta du tha?" I asked her as I pulled my blade out of the ground, I eyed her carefully to make sure she doesn't take me by surprise. "I don't need an army to enter these halls Lord Malgias, all I need are the Elements of Harmony." She told me as six gems start to spin around her in a quickened phase. "Lord Malgias, I hear by sentence you to an eternity in stone for treason against the Equestrian Kingdom." As she finished a beam of color shot towards me as that is the last thing I remember before everything goes black and the cold embrace of stone fills my senses. -o- A thousand years passed and the events that happened at the Iron Mountain are written in the history books as a betrayal by the dwarven lord Malgias. In the Garden still stands the statue of the Mountain King in a battle stance, frozen in time. This also lead to Luna being turned into Nightmare Moon as she found out about what Celestia did, nothing is left of the Iron Defense as all were slain and captured by the Celestial army who arrived soon after the king was turned to stone. Now that the thousand years had passed Luna returned while the Elements found six new bearers. After she was turned to normal she visited the garden looking for one special statue. "Oh Malgias, we remember the time thou were asked to watch us and Tia. thou took us to the Iron Mountain, where we got to play with the other dwarfs of the mountain." A lone tear rolls down her cheek as she places a hoof against the statue. "We know why thou did it, thou wanted to protect everyone within the mountain, but Tia brought your subjects in danger. Exposing them to the raging war she provoked." She looked at the face of the statue that holds the ever present glare on his face. "We shall return to Tia, rest in peace. King of the Mountain." With her final words she flared her wings as she flew back towards the castle entrance. Luna would visit the gardens on many occasions, it was her way of letting go of hidden emotions. She would talk to no end with the statue just to keep her from falling into depression, she even tried to talk to Celestia to see if there was a way to reverse the effect of the elements, but she was dismissed as soon as the subject would come to light. Which irritated her even more, she read every book within the royal library about the Iron Mountain and the people that used to live within the halls. That is where she found her answer. Deep within the mountains halls there was a gem called the Heart of the Mountain, legend say it can cure every sickness. But the stone is yet to be found. So Luna called forth twenty ponies to help her search for the gem, they all set off towards the abandoned ruins of the Iron city where they will start to dig high and low, shallow and deep, going beyond their limits to find the gem that will answer Luna's questions. -o- The ponies were digging for over three months after the start of the excavation, a lone pony stallion was digging in the center of the halls as he found a soft spot within the mountain floor, he grabbed his pickaxe and stared digging as not soon later a bright light filled the halls. everypony dropped their tools and made their way towards the center of the hall where the stallion was still staring at the bright and flawless gem. Once Luna arrived she used her magic to pull the gem from the ground as she used a piece of cloth to cover it up and protect it from damage. The group then returned to Canterlot where they were paid and thanked for their service as they were dismissed. Luna slowly made her way towards the garden where she will use the stone on the Mountain King. But she had to move through the halls of the castle and had to hide the bright gem from unwanted eyes. She silently passed the throne room as she was stopped by her sister Celestia. "Good afternoon Lulu, what brings you here so late in the afternoon?" Tia asked as she smiled at her sister. "We... uh, We were on our way to the... eh, gardens. Yes! to the gardens." she told Tia with a uneasy chuckle, Celestia noticed it too but dismissed it and insisted to accompany her to the gardens since it's been a while since she was in the gardens. Luna tried to conceal the gem as much as she could. Once they entered the gardens they were met with a small group of fillies and colds from the Ponyville school who were having a tour through the gardens to look at the statues. "Tell me students, what do we see here?" Asked the teacher as they were looking at a statue that Celestia rather forgets. "Oh! Oh!" yelled a little filly with a purple mane. "That's the evil something, that did something, which wasn't nice?" The teacher facehoofed as she noticed the two princess standing not so far away. Luna was the first to approach the group. "Well little filly, thou are rather far from the truth." She began as all the students gasped in surprise at the appearance of the two royal sisters. "His name is Malgias, or as we called him, The King of the Mountain. His race is or rather was called Dwarves, they were a powerful race who can both use magic and still be strong enough to lift boulders and bend metal." "Do they have horns like unicorns?" asked a filly with a light pink and white mane. "Of course they do! how would they use magic with them?" replied the orange one from before. "You are both wrong, for you see. They don't focus their magic through a horn, they use their hands and voice to chant ancient words of power. Some even use Runic Magic which can only be used when a certain rune or word is carved in a stone or is written on paper." Luna explained as Celestia looked at her in aww of her knowledge about the dwarves. She caught her expression. "Do not be so surprised Tia, do you think we only sleep during the day?" she told her sister she poked her tongue through her lips at her sister with a soft snicker. But she forgot about the gem hidden under her wing, and by relaxing her wings the gem fell on the ground with a dull thud as the cloth exposed the clear smooth surface. "Luna, what is that." Asked Celestia with a stern tone in her voice. "Tia, we can explain." She started to stutter slightly. "Ooohhh, that's so pretty." one of the little fillies said as she moved the cloth off the top of the gem exposing it to the sunlight. The gem started to glow brighter and brighter the longer it was exposed. The group suddenly squealed in surprise as a beam of light struck the statue which in turn started to crack. Celestias' eyes widen in shock as she turned to face her sister who was looking at the statue with a similar expression. "Miss, please see to it that your students get away from this place right now. It is far too dangerous here right now." She told the teacher who nodded at the princess and told her students to follow her as quickly as possible. Soon after the group vanished from sight Celestia quickly sent a scroll with a black ribbon to her student as she watched the statue break revealing the one person she though she would never meet again. -o- It's been a long time since I last felt the open air on my skin, I was brought from my eternal slumber by a bright light that filled my vision. As the light vanished I was standing on a stone plate. As I stretched my arms and legs they responded with a satisfying pop after being in place for too long. Not a moment later my attention was brought towards a low growling sound in front of me. As I cast my eyes downwards I met with the gaze of an angry looking Celestia and a smiling Luna. Wait... "Luna!" I yelled as I rushed passed the white bitch and pulled the midnight blue mare into a bear hug which she gladly returned. But the moment was ruined when one of Celestias guards thrusts his spear in my direction. I let go of Luna as I grabbed the tip of the spear with my armored glove as I broke the tip off and bend the head. I delivered a quick punch to the stallions face as he is sent a few inches back before he fell on the ground unconscious. "Talk aboot a parte pooper." I rolled my shoulders as I turned around as I spotted that Celestia had brought more of her 'guards'. "You stay right where you are Malgias, you are clearly out numbered. But before I order my man to attack, I'd like to hear from Luna where she found that gem." She growled at me as she shot Luna an angry frown. "We... eh... But Tia, you know-" Luna stopped as she heard me clear my throat as she nodded in my direction. "We believe he can explain everything." Tia moved her frown from Luna towards my face as her look turned into a fierce glare. "Tell meh Tia, du ye knoo tha legend 'boot tha heart o' tha moontain?" I asked her as she nods slowly. I lowered myself to the ground as I picked up the glowing gem. "yer lookin' at it righ' noo'." Her look was utterly priceless, I started to snort slightly as it soon turned into full blown laughter. "Ah niver though ah would see this beaute, Noo' ah gotta ask Luna, where in tha name o' tha Titans did ye find it." I asked her as she rubs the back of her neck with her hoof. "We were lonely after our return from our imprisonment on the moon, after we arrived in Canterlot we went to the garden to visit you. We... I used to talk to you every time I felt down, I wanted you back so I did some research and set out to the Iron Mountain to find it. And here it is." I felt so happy for what she did, I wanted to give her the biggest hug a dwarf can give. But I was stopped by Celestia who blasted me with a bolt of Magic which sent me back a few feet. "My lass, ah wus tryin' nothin'. Nae need ta jus' bloody shoot meh!" I groaned as I slowly got from the ground. "[By my beard that hurt...]" I muttered under my breath as I hold my hand over the spot. As I looked up I found myself surrounded my Celestial guards all pointing their spears in my face. "You do well to watch your tone Dwarf, you're still talking to the Princess of Equestria!" A blue and white stallion said who was wearing a purple armor, most likely the captain. "Rule number one laddy," I said as I turned my head to face him. "Niver put e possible weapon in front o' a dwarfs face, it might bite ye." With one swift move I disarmed the 'captain' and I use it to trip the entire group of stallions and mares who were surrounding me. "Ah warned ye, but nae. Dunnae listen ta tha bad dwarf." I said as I spit on the ground in front of his face while the entire group groaned. I jumped over a guard mare as I approached Celestia and Luna. I moved my left hand towards the blades on my back, but I was interrupted when a cyan blue pegasus smashed into me, knocking me into a nearby statue shattering it on impact. "Princess!" I heard a pony yell in the distance. Once my vision cleared I spotted six more around Tia while three or four guards hold Luna back, which ticked me off the wrong way. I grabbed both my blades as I charged towards the guards who were holding Luna back, soon as I arrived I slammed head first into a magical barrier. I turned my face towards the six as I see the horn of the purple one glow a magenta color. "Who are ye six, tha welcome committee. if tha be true, yer a little late they were first." I told them as I pointed at the guards behind me who were still groaning in pain. "Och ye bloody pansies, groo a back bone." "Sister, please stop this. You know he means no harm, if you keep this up you will only provoke him!" Luna yelled at her sister which ignored her. She was filled with blind rage and her judgment is clouded by that. "Silence Luna!" Celestia yelled at Luna, "He must pay for his crimes he committed against the Kingdom." She said as she turns her gaze at the purple pony who was standing next to her. "Twilight, ready the Elements of Harmony." "Of Course Princess!" The pony named Twilight replied as she turns to the other five ponies as they all nod, closing their eyes as the necklaces the five wear start to glow as the tiara on Twilights head collects all the energy of the others firing the rainbow beam towards me. I could hear Luna yell out towards me as I smirked. As soon as the beam is fired I drew a rune on the ground beneath me. Once the rune was finished the ground started to shake and shift, suddenly a Stone golem raises from the earth, covered in blue glowing runes. Once the beam connects with the golem it merely shrugs it off as the six ponies were standing back in the ground, looking rather proud with themselves until the butter yellow pegasus 'eeps' and hides behind her friends as their faces turn from glee to one of horror and shock. "How is that possible!" Twilight yelled at no one in particular. "He should be turned to stone, why did it have no effect!" "Ah kin explain tha lass." I said as I ordered the golem to place me back on the ground. I slowly walked towards the group as I sheathed my blades on my back. "Fer ye see Twiligh', golems are mostly made oot o' stone an mud. Ye kinnae turn sumthin' inta stone if it already be stone." I explained as I glared right into her eyes. "Du ye knoo who ah am?" I asked her as I moved closer. She nods slightly as she was feeling uneasy with me being up close. "You are Malgias. The leader of the Iron Mountain within the Everfree Forest. You are known as the betrayer by us ponies for your betrayal to the Equestrian Kingdom. You were defeated by the Elements of Harmony as punishment for your crimes." She said while keeping a straight face. "Tha only be Celestias side o' tha story." I replied as I took a step back. "Luna knows tha real story aboot meh, Ah knew they woold alter tha story ta put yer princess inta good light." "How dare you talk to our princess like that!" The cyan pegasus yelled at me as she bares her teeth at me. She was about to fly towards me but she was stopped by the orange mare with a strange hat on her head. "Whoa Nelly, easy rainbow. he can punch ya straight into next Monday from the looks of the guards on the ground." "I must agree with Applejack with this one darling." said the white and purple mare with a very posh accent. "Just look at the beard in his face, it looks just horrific." Luna and Celestia looked at the white pony, who looks rather horrified by my beard. Their attention was quickly brought back to the shield Twilight put up as it shatters into many pieces as my glove smashed right through it. I walked towards the white pony who was walking backwards only to hit a hedge, I grabbed her throat as I lifted her up from the ground. I could see her eyes widen as she starts to struggle against my grip. "Ah kin handle a lot lass, but naeone, NAEONE insults a mah beard!" I yelled in her face as threw her on the ground. She coughs as she could breathe again, tears rolling down her cheek. "Oor beard ur oor honor an dignity, ye NIVER insult a dwarfs beard." I growled at her. I turned around as I climbed on the stone golem. "Tis aint over Celestia, Ah'm ta return tu tha Iron Mountain. Ah'll warn ye, cross meh an ah will end ye." As I finished the golem jumped over the edge of the plate, where the castle rests on, into the lake below the city as I make my way towards my long forgotten home. -o- Back in Canterlot where the Elements of Harmony and the royal sisters were sitting in the large throne room where Celestia sat down on her throne as she looked down at Luna, Twilight and her friends. "Sister you NEED to tell them the truth about Malgias, if you keep lying it's going to bite you. Malgias is a man of immense power, you saw what he did in the garden." Luna pointed out as she points her hoof towards the large hole that can be seen in the middle of the garden. "Princess, what is Princess Luna talking about?" Asked Twilight as she looks at Celestia with confusion written all over it. The same goes for her friends who were silently talking to each other about what happened today. Celestia released a low sigh as she stepped down her throne. "Let me tell you a story Twilight," She began. "I believe you all heard about the great dwarven city within the Iron Mountain?" The group of six ponies all nodded as Celestia continues. "we, Luna and I, know Malgias since we were little fillies. The empire and Equestria were trade partners when it comes to Iron, gems, gold and silver. They even agreed to sell us tools." She walked towards one of the glass windows as she stares at the lone mountain in the distance. "Our parents brought us many times to the great halls within the mountain, as for every time we would look in awe at the sight alone. Malgias was already the leader, he said leader since he hates the title of King. He is proud and loyal, that was the only reason why mom and dad trusted him. when years passed he was getting more of a family friend then just a baby sitter for us." She places a hoof on the window as her stare grows distant with each second passing. "He was kind, honest, loyal, generous and was always happy to see us laugh." Celestia turned to face the group. "Did I ever told you where the elements came from?" She asked. Luna kept quiet while the others shook their head. "The elements were created by a being of pure harmony, while everypony has their imperfections, some possess the gift. Malgias was asked by our parents since they believed he could create an artifact that would help ponies defend Equestria during conflict. He accepted but he needed help of a magic source strong enough, that is where we came to light. With both mine and Luna's magic combined, the three of us crafted the elements." Celestia though for a moment. "Sadly, times turned grim and war was on the horizon. Our parents passed into the afterlife as they left Luna and me to lead the kingdom. I went several times to the mountain to talk about the import of weapons and armor, but Malgias refused." "And why did he refuse? You were trade partners for years, what reason did he have to decline your order?" Asked Rainbow Dash. "He had a very good reason to decline, if he would deliver armor and weapons his secret is exposed. Dwarves have a strict secrecy about the way they forge weapons and armor, that is why Dwarven armor is more worth than armor made out of solid diamond." Luna replied, as she looks at Rainbow Dash. "That still doesn't explain why he declined!" Rainbow shot back at Luna. "If their ways would be exposed, many would use it to forge weapons that could mean the end of the kingdom and the empire." Luna said as she glances at her sister. "He was protecting his home, his race and his family." Celestia turned to face the group once again as she slowly walked towards them with her head held low. What comes next might change the way everypony thinks about her. "When he declined I was outraged, I felt insulted and offended. When he sent us away they closed the gates until the war would have passed, but when the gates finally opened I was the first to stand in front of Malgias since many years. What I did after was something I should have never done." A lone tear rolls down her cheek as Celestia sits down on the ground near the group. Luna slowly walks towards her as she is pulled into a hug. "Then what did you do Princess?" Rarity asked. "I accused him of treason against the Equestrian empire like the books say, but there was never a battle. He just stood there looking at me with his beard moving up and down with his breath. He was waiting for me to make my move and so I did." Celestia takes a deep breath as she clears her throat. "I used the one thing he helped to create. I used the elements to seal him for eternity. But when Luna found out about my actions she completely lost everything and that is also why she turned into Nightmare Moon." "I didn't see my mistake till now, and the events of this afternoon made things only worse. I provoked him beyond his limit and will do everything to make me pay-." The group is suddenly interrupted by an earth quake which shook the entire city. The nine ponies made their way towards the windows after the quake ended, in the distance smoke can be seen coming from the mountain which could only mean one thing. Celestia wears a panicked look on her face as she turns to face Luna. "Luna, please go see what he is doing. That earth quake was not caused naturally, if I know Malgias good enough I might say he is preparing for-..." Celestias eyes widen in shock. "By Solaris, Malgias is preparing for war." -o- I was standing in front of the iron gates of the Iron Mountain. It's been to long since I last walked the halls. The entire mountain is abandoned, accept for some critters and insects. It seems Luna left everything untouched accept for the occasional hole in the ground. "[By my beard...]" I said to myself as I looked at the old and rusted machines. I walked for what seemed like hours, before I came across an empty room with the walls filled with paper sheets. I pulled a few from the wall as I started to read. Entry #3021 We have nowhere to go, Malgias is defeated and the Dragons and gryphons saw their chance to attack our mountain. The Iron Defense fell along with Malgias since he was the only one to know Runic crafting. Our numbers are dropping rapidly as we try to fight the onslaught of dragons and gryphons. Entry #4082 There are only a hand full of us left. all the gold and silver were taken by the dragons, while some of our kin were eaten by the gryphons. We are losing all hope, it's been a year since the start of the slaughter of our kin. All we can do now is pray to whatever god is up there. Entry # 4153 Kelthar and I are the only ones left of our race, we are hungry and most have died of starvation. I am using all my energy to write this entry to whoever reads it in the future. This mountain has been our home far before the age of ponies, but we were betrayed by the ponies for trying to protect ourselves. They turned our friend and leader into a statue and left us for dead. I'm getting weaker, and my end comes. all I have to say is that may any dwarf find these entries salute to us and rebuild the mountain. The entry ends with a large ink stain, I ripped all the entries from the wall as I took an old book and placed them between the pages. I stepped outside as I turned to face the mountain gates, my heart filled with sorrow as I stood attention and placed my right arm diagonally on my chest armor in a salute towards the fallen and the forgotten. With renewed vigor I marched towards the machines as I used a few flints to ignited the engines sending a roaring sound though the mountain that shook the entire mountain and surrounding villages. I had one last thing to do, I took the book with the entries from the table as she summons a Runic Golem to travel towards Canterlot. -o- After the shock had passed another low rumbling sound can be heard through the halls of the castle as distant yells interrupt the rumbling sound which was getting louder with the passing second. When the sound stopped once more, the ponies jumped in shock as both door were slammed out of their respective frame as they crushed the throne of Celestia and Luna on impact. When they turned to face the intruder they found a VERY angry Malgias standing on his brown Golem which is covered with glowing blue runes. He stepped off the golem as he stomped his way towards the group of ponies. "[You are all dead! Thanks to you shit arse ponies the Iron Defense fell and wiped out my entire race!]" He roared through the room as the ponies only could look at him in confusion. "[We should have never become partners, due to your selfishness thousands of lives were lost. all for what?! For nothing more than weapons and armor!]" He glared at Celestia as he throws the book towards her as she catches it with her magic. "Read tha, an du nae dare ta stop." He growled as he crosses his arms, "These are tha last entries o' mah race before they all died." Celestia opened the book to starts with the first entry of the book. Her eyes follow the lines of the every page as her face fell with every word she reads, once she finished all entries she collapsed on the floor with tears running down her muzzle. She was completely silent as she silently mutters 'sorry'. "Yer ta late fer tha Tia, tha damage 'as been don'. Ah wus tha only one ta keep the defenses up an runnin', but wit meh gone tha energy faded an tha Golems crumbled." he turned around as he slowly walks towards the Golem. "Ye better prepare, yer gonna need it." With that he jumped on his golem as it disappeared from view. -o- I was standing on the shoulder of my golem as I walked back towards my mountain, but when I reached the gates I heard several hoofs clopping on the ground. I turned around to face who ever had the guts to follow him. To his surprise it was the group of mares from before, but it seems the student of Celestia had small dragon on her back. I ordered the golem to stop as it set me back on the ground. I walked towards the group of ponies leaving the golem behind me, but close enough to react if they try something. I crossed my arms as I raised an eyebrow at the six ponies who were staring at me. I stared back as suddenly one of them cleared her throat. This got my attention as I looked at the purple pony. "Wot brings yew six ta the lonely mountain?" I asked with a low growl. "We're here to talk to you, whatever princess Celestia was reading it broke her heart." The student said as she looked at me with big eyes. "I couldn't read it since it was written in an unknown script." I looked at her for a few seconds as I released a sigh. "Ye want ta knoo, wot wus on tha paper?" I asked them. The six of them nodded slightly as I motioned towards them to follow me. As I was walking through the gates, with the six ponies walking behind me and my golem, I heard several gasps as we entered the main hall. I turned around to face the group. "Welcome ta the heart o' tha Iron Mountain." "Whoooaaaa...." Said the cyan one as she flew to the ceiling of the hall. She was soon back on the ground as caught up with the group. I walked into the 'throne' room where a large throne stands with magma flowing from the arm rests. I walked up the small stairs as I sat down on the throne, I crossed my legs and arms as I looked at the ponies who were looking around the room in awe. I cleared my throat as I tried to get their attention, but it seems the throne room was WAY more interesting than me. "Oi!" I yelled at them as they jumped slightly. "Noo tha ah got yer attention, ye wanted ta knoo wot was written on tha paper righ'?" The purple one once again took a step forward as she locked eyes with me. "Indeed we are," She replied. "But I gotta ask, what kind of tongue is it?" "'Fore ah answer tha question, ye better introduce yourselves first ." I shot back at her with an unamussed expression. "Oh, where are our manners. I am Twilight Sparkle and these are my friends, Applejack," She points at the orange pony who tips her hat at me. "This is Rarity," She then points at the white pony with the curly mane. "Next up is Rainbow Dash," The cyan mare strikes a pose with a large grin. "Fluttershy," The butter yellow pony 'eeps' as she hides behind Applejack. "And the last one is Pinkie Pie." She then points at the pink pony who bounces up and down. "Good, noo tha we all knoo let's git doown ta busyness." I said as I leaned back into my throne. "These entries ur written in Dwarvish, mah mother tongue." I said as I kept my gaze at the six ponies. "When ah wus petrified, tha defenses o' tha mountain fell an tha mountain wus venerable ta attacks. Soon after tha defense wus down, dragons an Gryphons attacked. Mah people fought them but were defeated, one by one oor race grew smaller till naeone wus left an tha Dwarven race ended. As far as ah knoo there be nae more Dwarven in Equestria accept meh." My gaze turned to stone as I walked down the stairs towards the group. I walked passed them back into the main hall where the forge was burning hot and the machines were running smoothly. I turned around to see that the mares were still following me, all wielding different looks. I took a deep breath as I turned my face away from them. "It be better fer ye all ta jus' leave meh be from noo on." I told them as I checked the temperature of the forge. "We can't leave you like this, we know you are preparing for an attack on Equestria and we won't leave till you call it off." Twilight stated as she keeps her hoof down, that mare doesn't even know how wrong she is even if I present it on a silver platter. "Ye thin' ah'm goin' ta du wot?" I asked her as I raise my brow at her. "According to Celestia, the moment you restarted the machines and forges within the mountain it was a sign of war on the opposing faction." She stated matter-of-fact-ly. I turned around to face her as I glared right into her eyes. "Hoo dare ye ta say tha righ' inta meh face ye little shit!" I yelled into her face as she looks scared and shocked. "If ah were ta go tu war wit' Equestria ye would nae last one second in a figh' wit' meh. An ah would nae let ye inta tha moontain." The mares all took a step back as they all started to look rather confused. "If you're not preparing for war against Equestria, then what are you doing then?" Rarity asks as I smirk slyly at her causing her to shudder slightly. "Wot ah'm gonna du, be pay back fer mah race." My face turns to stone once more. "Ah'm plannin' ta attack tha dragon an gryphon empire." All the faces were now filled with shock and disbelieve. "But you can never win that ya know?!" Rainbow yells, speaking for the entire group. "Tha be a worry fer later, noo go back ta Celestia an' tell her tha her ponies ur save from mah wrath." With these final words I teleported them to Canterlot using one of my runes I head drawn as preparation for their arrival.
