A sharp-witted - but good-natured - parody of ''Sunset's Shimmer Story'' by Dark Rarity.
Pinkie Pie's epic opus about a Lonely person by the Name of Sunset Shimmer who discovers she is a nobody at Canterlot High. Each chapter is obviously under 1000 words!
A Really Short Chapter About Sunset Shimmer And Her New Group
Sunset Shimmer has realized one thing: She is lonely. Nobody likes her, she is pushed over and bullied. She sings to herself:
Who can I turn to when nobody needs me? My heart wants to know --
She's suddenly made inaudible by basketball noise.
Trixie leaves the court and goes to the bench. She sees a depressed Sunset Shimmer concluding her song:
With you I could learn to, with you what a new day, but who can I turn to if you turn away?
Trixie asks Sunset "Why are you so down in the dumps?"
Sunset gently tells her, "It's because I have a dilemma. I went to this school about a month ago, I thought my life was gonna change here but that was obviously not the case. Everyone hates me - well, a decreasing number of everybodies, I got 6 best pals and I need one more best pal to fill the obviously short time we have to tell this story about myself."
"Oh Sunset Shimmer I wanna be your friend and if you become my friend, then, forever my darling, our love will be true, always and forever, I'll love only you, just promise me darling, your love in return and may this fire in my soul dear forever burn."
"Why were you singing that song to me? I mean, it's great and all, but why so suddenly do you have to do it?"
"It figures. I face the same problem with reading time restrictions as you apparently do. So I filled the limited reading time had by this chapter. Wanna fill them in these next chapters by being part of the Illusions?"
"It will be a great group. I want to join it!" Sunset replied, in order to make the positions of the conversation less confusing.
"Great! Meet me outdoors," replied Trixie.
After that, Sunset was shown to the other band members by Trixie.
"Here is our newest member."
That's the end of the chapter. Sorry, but I, Pinkie Pie, have to stop this chapter here.
Another Short Chapter About Sunset Shimmer And Her New Group
Trixie noticed Sunset Shimmer's identity and ran around the room screaming, "Aah! It's A Monster."
"Trixie, you were a monster yourself once. You know this, right?"
"Yes. But we have to call you a monster in this chapter in order to make sure the audience, and your fans, and those who understand the basics of continuity are treated like indefensible morons."
The crowd shouted: "That's all we want to do! That's all we want to do! That's all we want to do! That's all we want to do!"
Sunset, upset by this, left Canterlot High abruptly and went back home to the forest.
Meanwhile, the typewriter has obviously printed the text above using a really tiny speck of paper.
I just came back To Canterlot High. All the bad girls are out and all alone am I. I'm about to sit down Underneath the canteen.. I'm gonna eat my grub And everything.

Sunset Shimmer has chosen to do just that. The Skeeter Davis song in the Author's Notes is being played in the background at slightly low volume. Then, a familiar face shows up. It's Trixie! The day Trixie and the crowd led that chant was one that Sunset would rather forget. She was driven to tears, some of which she apparently placed on her lunch.
"You're still here Trixie?"
"Yes. I feel sorry for what happened in the gym and I think it was surprising. But then, we expected it, because I, the Great and Powerful Trixie, made them do it."
"What to do now Trixie?"
"Well, this is a bit longer than the other chapters, but...it's pretty obvious that we cannot logically be friends at this point, now can we?"
"We can do that! Give me one last chance please!"
"That's a great idea Sunset!" replied Trixie, making this chapter a bit longer than some of the others.
"And what about this thing we call Friendship?" asked Trixie.
"Ah yes, ain't it magic? I want to fill this chapter up by talking about our lives though," said Sunset.
"I'll be first! When I was in Equestria, people used to refer to me as the Great and Powerful Trixie. I knew lot of spirits and magic and all that stuff this chapter is too limited to insert. My worst enemies were the six little ladies that went by the names of Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Applejack. i wanted to be alone but when I was it was a scary thing that, again, I would fill too much of the story if I were to tell about. That's what makes this story ridiculous. How 'bout you, Sunset?"
"Oh, dump it!"
"Oh wait. I forgot it was private."
"Trixie, what are you having for lunch?"
"Some candy and some yogurt. How 'bout you, Sunset?"
"Some candy and some Ice cream."
"Great!"
"Great!" the author replied while putting the word "Commented" at the end of each sentence above.
"Trixie, you are amazing. You sound like a good friend of mine."
"Thanks, Sunset! I have a question for you!" said Trixie.
"What is the question?" replied Sunset Shimmer.
"Did you have any friends before I became one?" replied Trixie.
"Well, by now it's obvious that I have six best friends, but the story doesn't want me to have any, so I have to fake my lack of friends in order to be one with you, the enemy of my six best friends."
During her time with Trixie, Sunset decided to be her sister. This is something you cannot logically do unless you're thinking about your adoption plans.
"Trixie?" asked Sunset Shimmer
"Yes." replied Trixie.
"I want to be Your Sister. Can you make me be that way?" inquired Sunset.
"Um, no. I cannot be your sister. In order for you to be my sister, I have to see you at an ORPHANAGE. This is not an ORPHANAGE."
"Oh. Well all right" replied Sunset.
"Sorry, I can't. We could only be friends now." replied Trixie.
"OK" replied Sunset.
Although Trixie said no to Sunset Shimmer's request to be her sister initially, Shimmer later agreed with Trixie's assessment that this could only be done if Shimmer were in an orphanage.
Trixie and Sunset then said goodbye to each other.
And so, Sunset decides to end yet another REALLY SHORT CHAPTER by going to the Dark Forest where Trixie hid her poster.
Sunset Shimmer walks in The Dark Forest and is really sad without Trixie her best friend and plays an old song written by a guy named Kris in the background (see Author's Notes)
She goes and thinks about Trixie and her life.
She thinks the friendship will remain unbroken but today is the day it gets broken, and we made it that way because we are such big meanies.
She sat on the old bench and cried because her only friend is gone. So now we have her return to Canterlot High so that she could find Trixie.
This is a happy conversation. We have written it down here, and don't get us in trouble for it:
"Hello Trixie!" said Sunset Shimmer.
"Nice to see you Sunset Shimmer!"
"You're a good old friend of mine! And you're the only one I know who could change the mood of this chapter rapidly by appearing in the chapter!"
"Yes. The budget on this story is so low it cannot even afford to let a sad scene maintain its sadness."
"That says something."
"I'm here because...well...they say it's my birthday! Whoa, uh, yeah, well, it's your birthday too!"
"No it's not."
"Whoo whoo! They say it's my birthday and you and I are gonna have a good time! If you're glad it's my birthday, say "Happy birthday" to me! Me! And only me!"
"All right then." Taking a deep breath, she calmly sings:
Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to you Happy birthday dear Trixie, Happy birthday to you!
"That was beautiful. Now, as a way to deprive us of a scene in which we are to be at a party, it's time for me to go to bed. Want to do it with me?"
"Sure."
Now they are both in bed, oddly enough, and always talk about friendship all day.
Sunset Shimmer asked, "I'm bored. Do you want to talk about friendship now?"
"Sunset Shimmer do you know anything about friendship?"
"I don't."
"Well, when I said I knew everything about friendship, HA, I lied!"
"You idiot! You have deceived me!"
"What are you gonna do?"
"First we'll play Hide and Seek. Then, I'll find the Friendship Police and report you to it."
They played hide and seek. Trixie hid behind the door of the school's Security Office. When she found her there, touching a firearm she knows not to touch, Sunset took the firearm away, grabbed her by the hand, then opened the front doors of Canterlot High, put Trixie's hand out of hers, and then out Trixie was. Trixie subsequently was found by police, and was arrested. Trixie was sent to jail for two months, then sent back to Canterlot high upon her release from prison.
