Comfort (Griffon The Brush Off)
After the 'Gilda incident' Fluttershy stayed in her home for a few days. She didn't want to go outside, and remember what happened. Gilda was Rainbow Dash's friend from a camp of some sort, and she turned out to be a total jerk, scaring Granny Smith, being mean to Pinkie Pie...and roaring at her.
What did she do wrong to the griffon? She was just trying to lead the ducks across the road, but apparently that was wrong. In Gilda's eyes anyway. A tear fell down from her eye.
Suddenly, somepony knocked at the door. As Fluttershy went to get it and wondered who they were the latter was already answered by Rainbow Dash, her friend from flight school.
"Hey Flutters!" She exclaimed, though not as happy as she would of liked it to sound.
"Oh...um, hey Rainbow." Fluttershy brushed some of her mane out of her face.
There was an awkward silence as Rainbow Dash sat on the lavender couch.
"So...how's, uh, Angel going?" Dash muttered.
Fluttershy knew that Rainbow was dodging the subject about Gilda. She didn't like it. Time to cut to the chase.
"Rainbow...I want to talk to you about-" So much for cutting to the chase.
Rainbow Dash got up in her face "-Bout what?"
"About...GIlda."
Rainbow started breathing heavily.
Another silence. Fluttershy didn't know why Rainbow didn't want to talk about it. Her and Gilda could sort things out,and they could all become friends. Wait, I'm beginning to act like Pinkie Pie... she thought.
"It's alright if you don't want to talk about it, Dash." Fluttershy put a hoof on the anxious pegasus' shoulder.
"N-nah, it's alright...Gilda, she was my first friend in flight camp. I stood up for her and we were basically inspirable. But in our teenage years she became kind of a rebel, like she started smoking and stuff. I never did any of the bad things she did. I'm 18 now and she's 17. When she came into Ponyville...I had no idea she would act like that."
"O-oh." murmured Fluttershy. She didn't really know what to say.
"Yeah..." Rainbow Dash trailed off.
But now she knew what to say.
"Look, Rainbow Dash. Now Gilda went back home to Griffonstone and we can't do much about it. But you can do something about guilt. Just let it all go. Stop blaming yourself." Fluttershy frowned, taking on a smile after finishing.
Rainbow Dash wasn't much of a soft type but she couldn't hold back hugging Fluttershy
"Thanks."
"You're welcome. Now how about we get some milkshakes?"

They walked to Sugarcube Corner, the place where Pinkie Pie gives sweet treats to all of Ponyville's residents and others alike. It truly was the best place for milkshakes, cupcakes, muffins and way more.
When they got to Sugarcube Corner the pair found Derpy and Pinkie Pie giggling and baking something. Rainbow Dash giggled herself
"Hey, you two are the cutest couple!"
Derpy and Pinkie both blushed, but you couldn't really see it on Pinkie as her coat was as pink as cotton candy. "Me and Derpy are just baking cupcakes and muffins."
"Well, we'll have a strawberry milkshake and a chocolate milkshake." Rainbow smiled.
Pinkie gave them their milkshakes and winked.
"So." Rainbow Dash sipped and looked at her friend "Have you overcome your fear of dragons yet?"
She shook her head "Not yet..."
Just then, Twilight Sparkle and Princess Luna walked in. "Hi girls!"
Luna smiled "Hello citizens of Ponyville, it is I Princess Luna. How is your day going?"
"We're great!" Pinkie grinned.

"Stupid ponies." Gilda growled. "Who does that yellow mare, Fluttershy think she is being so close to Rainbow Dash?! Ugh...I'm done. I hate you Fluttershy. I hate you Pinkie Pie. AND I ESPECIALLY HATE YOU RAINBOW DASH!"
Gilda flew off, not looking back once. She would return to her town, and at least try to make enough scones for a living to move out of that stinking place. She hated Griffonstone. She hated Rainbow's friends. She hated everything.

Later that night Rainbow Dash was walking Fluttershy home. Fluttershy giggled
"Looks like Twilight and Pinkie both have crushes."
Rainbow Dash cocked her head. "On each other?"
"No no, Luna and Derpy."
"Oh!" They both laughed. Just like when they were fillies.
"Well, I've had fun hanging out with you, Dashie." Fluttershy breathed a breath of fresh night air and waved goodbye to her friend.
"S-see you Shy!" Rainbow called out as she flew back to her home as fast as she could.
Omigoshomigoshomigosh! She called me Dashe! Though Pinkie Pie does usually call me that. Rainbow Dash thought to herself in her bed. It's nothing special. She can't possibly have feelings for Fluttershy. "We've only been hanging out this year for like, days. Though she is pretty cute....I need to speak to Twi about this tomorrow." And she went to sleep, peacefully. Dreaming of rainbows and butterflies. They go together perfectly.
Fluttershy was thinking somewhat the same thing at her cottage the same night.
"Oh, Angel. Don't you think Rainbow Dash is such a sweet friend? She paid for my milkshake and comforted me. I'm glad we were friends since foalhood." Angel rolled his eyes. "What, Angel?...Oh! No, we're just friends...I think..." She sighed looking at the stars. "I don't know, maybe she thinks I'm annoying or too shy. I guess love makes you do weird things... I'm in love with Rainbow Dash! I have to tell Twilight tomorrow."
