Entry One
Dear Diary,
Recently Twilight gave me this diary as a gift for my birthday. I don't know why. I just roll with it, weirder things have happened with me. And no, Twilight, I'm not going to start off every entry with: 'dear dumb diary,'. That idea is even worse than your previous idea to create friendship problems!
I think Twilight really wants me to write in this. I guess I will. I guess I should also now cut to the chase!
Princess Celestia is already planning a big Hearts And Hooves Day party in Canterlot. Twilight is helping her plan it. All the main six get to go. I even get to come along for the ride. Surprisingly, Discord and Starlight Glimmer aren't aloud to go because of both of their crimes. I think Celestia would've let them come but so many critics objected that she finally gave in.
I'm not thinking Rarity even with the romantic party on the horizon. The thing that is really on my mind is just hoping that Twilight doesn't go crazy during the planing. I'm also just afraid Starlight and Discord will create some unsolvable chaos.
Speaking of Starlight, I guess I might as well talk I mean write about her. She's a lot like Twilight, there's really only one big difference: it is more likely that she'll slap you across the face and yell at you. Or if you're very unlucky she will start ranting in raving about equality! She is absolutely strange. Really strange. Stranger than Discord strange (wait, I now think I want to take that statement back)!
She also kinda makes our castle pretty weird. Twilight is trying to get her a cottage in Ponyvile (or maybe in Canterlot, that is also an option). She'll probably have her own home in a couple of months.
Rarity is currently working on some beautiful dress of the celebration. She's even making me another tuxedo! I've seen some of her blueprints of sorts and I know it's going to be great! Heck, even better than great, wonderful!
Speaking of me and Rarity, like I said wrote down, I'm kinda over with my crush on her. She's amazing but I know it will never go anywhere, so what's the point? Twilight would probably give me a smart aleck response to that question that I don't want or really need.
The last few weeks between Twilight, Glimmer, and mine time traveling shenanigans have been pretty normal (by our group's standard of normal).
I feel a tiny bit bad for Starlight Glimmer because Twilight has made her read so much. Then again, she kinda need to learn more more about friendship (making a cult because of a friend who left tells me that). Like I wrote down (yes, I finally got it correct on my first try) only a couple of moments ago, Starlight is weird, just please roll with it. Dealing with Starlight that way is just way easier!
Twilight and Starlight have been doing a lot of studying together. They do it in a tiny room and they lock the door. They practically do it 24/7. I need to Twilight about it. I just don't know how. Twilight is trying to give me special attention to make up for those facts, sometimes it actually works just like a charm!
Surprisingly, Twilight has been acting normal even with all the studying. The only real difference is that she seems a bit more stressed out and a bit more patient (which is something she really needs around Starlight Glimmer). I know I'm writing down a lot about her. I guess she's really the only interesting thing that has happened recently.
We recently also had a party. Of course, Pinkie Pie and the Cakes were the planers of it all. Everypony in Ponyvile plus our new friends: the Hoofields, the Mcolts, Starlight Glimmer, Sassy Saddles, Gilda, Moondancer, even Fashion Plate came (I barely know who he is but he's important to Rarity so he must be a decent pony)... I probably shouldn't list everypony, it would take way to long to make. The list just goes on and on and on! We've made so many friends recently. It's pretty cool. The map sure helps with it too.
Celestia also came by yesterday with an orange unicorn-Sunburst. We were all so happy for her! They laughed, talked, and Starlight even kissed him smack dab on the lips! Sunburst was so shocked! I could be wrong but I think they're now a couple!
Celestia then talked to Starlight one on one for awhile in private. I'm trying to speculate what it was all about. I'll probably never figure it out on my own, Celestia is just so mysterious! She is even going to write friendship reports to Princess Celestia just like Twilight did a while ago!
I guess that is all I have to say.. This is actually a great way to share my feelings. I can't believe I'm saying this, but thank you Twilight. You get a metaphorical cookie (or should it be a metaphysical cookie, I don't know, and I don't really care).
I'm now laughing. Twilight (who is half asleep because it's like two in the morning) just responded to what I just wrote down. She probably knows what I'm writing because on a rare occasion I mumble under my breath while I write.
I guess that's all for now (right now I really want to go back to sleep). I'll try to write in this diary on a daily basis but that might be hard with the living conditions I am in or a big baddie might decide to randomly attack all of Equestia! The thing is, you just don't know what'll happen around here!
