> My Journey > by HopeForTheFew > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Prologue: My Downfall > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- It is surprising how easy your life can be taken away, just one thing can ruin all you have built, all you have loved. In one nights sleep I was gone, taken away from everything I ever loved. This is the story of my life before the fall. My life is a sad story, I however will just summarize my life for you. I grew up in a rough family and neighborhood. I would always get bullied or beaten by either my parents or the bullies. My dad and mom were drunks, they would always pick on me for the fun that they received from my pain. However, later in life they killed themselves because of their over intoxication when they fell down a flight of stairs, I was just twelve years old when that happend, though truth be told I hated my parents, I wasn't glad they were gone, but I wasn't sad either. I was sent to an orphanage soon after my parents death, my life however was even worse there then with my parents. I was sexually abused and beaten for quite sometime, thank God though it didn't last too long do to the fact that I was quickly adopted and taken away from there, I told my new found parents about what I had been through and they got the owners of the orphanage arrested. I grew up with a decent life from then on out. Got a job as a mechanic and headed out on my own. Truth be told though, the scares never really healed I just got back home to my apartment from work. I was still a mechanic at the time, however I always wanted to be in the Navy. I made it up in my mind to join sometime, but not then. I was tired after the long day, so I just called up my friends and said I wasn't going to come to their party tonight. They understood and let me go to sleep. And so I did, I fell asleep quite quickly that night, I knew that I was tired but I didn't know I was that tired. The next morning I got ready for work. Took a shower got breakfast ect. When I was finished with getting ready I walked out the door to my truck that my parents helped pay for and went to work. However something felt different that day I felt more distant from my life, I couldn't explain it so I just ignored it and pressed on. However, each day after that It would be getting worse. Each day felt more distant. I went to see the doctor and he thought I was working to hard, but I knew better. Of course I did take the doctors advice but I knew working to hard was not the problem. It was that night when it happened, that night after a couple weeks of this distant feeling crossing over me. I went to sleep, I wasn't working and yet I still felt sleepy, more than ever in fact. So I went to sleep. Little did I know that sleep would be my ruin, my downfall. > Chapter 1: I Should Have Stayed > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- When I awoke I felt different, I felt close once again to my life, I was no longer distant. "Maybe that doctor was on to something." I said to myself. So I got up and got a shower and some breakfast, dressed up for work and headed out the door. Only, once I opened the door what greeted me was a tree that I knocked my head against. "What the hell?" I asked myself. "How-wait-what?" I said stunned of what was in front of me. I than began to furiously pinch myself trying to wake myself up do to the fact that my brain wanted me to think that this was all a dream. When I found I was in no dream I then began to walk around trying to figure out where and how I got there. I searched for quite sometime but found nothing, but I did notice that what I used to live in was once an apartment was now a small home. After awhile of admiring the new house I then decided to take a walk and try to clear my head of all that had happened. I walked for a good 2 hours or more, I figured out nothing however. until I saw it, it was on the side of a mountain, it was a castle of some kind with what appeared to be a small city beneath it. I stood there for a while gazing at the sight before me. then, with a shake of my head I made it up in my mind to go check it out the next day. "Maybe I will get my answers from there." I said to myself secretly hoping it wasn't abandon, but from what it looked like, I doubted it incredibly. When I got back to apartment I proceeded to get inside and make myself something to eat. This new house that appeared out of nowhere to somewhere that was nowhere had apparently running hot water and electricity. I brought some bacon out of the fridge put it on the frying pan, started the stove, and began cooking my meal. Once my dinner was complete I started to chow down. The bacon itself was quickly gone, however it did leave me with a satisfied stomach. When I finished I then went to my computer started it up, but I only found that it had no signal to the internet. I then went to the TV and again no signal. "Damn" I said quite annoyed. After a while of occupying myself by playing my guitar I started to get tired, it was then that I decided to go to bed and get some well deserved sleep. After waking up I slowly got up and went to the bathroom, "A good shower will wake me right up." I said while taking a long yawn. After my shower I then got breakfast and prepared myself for the long walk to the castle. I brought with me some food, a couple canteens of water, a pocket knife, and a jacket, for it was getting in the middle of fall now. And with that I said farewell to the homestead for now and walked off down the trail I made the day before. After another long walk through the woods I found the castle I was looking for. "Well here we are." I said to myself. And with that I was off towards the castle that was ahead of me. The hike to the castle took longer then I had expected, but not to long to where it was a bore. I was approaching the castle when I noticed it was very well kept and seemed to indeed have a small city of some sort at the mountains base. It was a truly majestic sight, I had never before laid my eyes on something this fantastic. "Where the hell am I?" I asked myself once again. Though not knowing the answer I stopped standing around and headed for the city gates. Though, I stopped when I noticed guards placed on the front gate, the guards looked strange from a distance almost like, they were on all fours. "What the hell?" I said to myself. But I put it off and started walking closer only this time a little more cautious and I kept to the tree line as much as I could. Upon approaching the gate closer and even more cautious I noticed the guards on the front of the gate were not human at all. They were some kind of small colorful horse almost like ponies but a little larger depending on what type of pony. I stopped my movements and hid further in the bush that I was in at the moment. I watched the gates and the creatures guarding them for a long time. They appeared to have long spears as their weapons, and gold armor. "Must way a ton" I said to myself. Then when I stayed there for quite a long time I noticed a carriage of some kind travel towards the gates. It peeked my curiosity to much however as I stepped out of my bush to get a better look at the carriage. That was my mistake and believe me when I tell you that it was indeed a bad one. The guards saw me and then went yelling and began charging at me. I ran off course but it was no use, they were much faster than I was even with that armor on, so I turned around quickly to brace myself for a fight. I drew my knife, however when I turned around I found myself greeted by six more half horse creatures. However it was then I noticed that one had a horn on its head and two others had wings and were flying a bit of the ground. But none of this wavered me, I stood tall ready for a fight that I would most likely lose. We stood there, staring down at each other for a long period of time. There had been several more of the creatures join the foes party, but what was the most scariest part of it all was the large white creature with a horn and wings and hair that seemed to be flowing with a non existent breeze. She was almost or as tall as I was, but I still did not waver. I was getting tired of standing there so I simply spoke with a sly smile on my face. "No fair, you got four legs." And with that I started backing off slowly, though the smile never left my face. Soon though after taking a few steps back a large blue creature flew down next to the white one. The creature was not as tall but still taller than the others that were around her. By now there must have been a hundred of the creatures and they started to walk in different directions trying to create a circle around me. But I wouldn't let them. Within a few second I hopped back quite far, far enough the get out of the range of the circle. "I don't think so." I said, the sly smile returning to my face. Why I was smiling I did not know nor did I care, I simply enjoyed the time. "Well I suppose I shall be taking my leave now." I said walking back in quite a quick pace. But as soon as I said that the white and blue beings horn glowed, there was then a sudden burst of light that knocked me off my feet. I quickly got back up though and prepared myself for whatever may happen. We stayed there for quite a time longer, that sly smile was no longer on my face just a look of weariness. I didn't know how long I kept that stance but I knew I couldn't last much longer. So I simply gave up, I sheathed my knife and raised my hands in the air. And with that done the creatures moved forward. But I wouldn't let them take me like that, how could I?. I made a mad dash to the woods that was only a few yards away from me, however right before I reached the edge of the woods a barrier of yellow covered my path. I banged on it as hard as I could but it was no use. I then turned back to the group of creatures that was now a number of at least three hundred. I stared at the white and blue being and said simply "I am finished aren't I?" "Indeed you are, creature." The Blue being said with pride in its voice. I nodded my head and said. "So be it then." And with that a took a seat on the grass and let the creatures take me. Fear rose up in me quickly but I did not panic I simply went along with it secretly hoping I did not make the wrong decision. It was then that I realized that I should have stayed at the homestead. Life in a cage is just a test. Believe me, I have been there before. -Jesse Howitser > Chapter 2: My New Found Strength > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- They led me through the large hallways of the castle. "Might I ask where your taking me?" I asked. They did not answer me, instead they led me down a set of stairs that seemed to be underground since there were no more windows around, "never mind I think I know where I am headed." I said. After awhile we reached what appeared to be a cave system. "Yep, I thought so." I said sighing deeply as I saw with weary eyes what lay beyond me. What was ahead of me was rows upon rows of jail cells. I made no attempt to stop what was happening, what else could I do but go along with it? I would get my chance to escape soon enough, or at least I hoped I would. They locked me up in one of the cells and set six guards watching me at a time. During the whole journey down here they kept the three hundred surrounding me, so it was obvious that they thought I was capable of doing devastating damage. "What are you?" one of the creatures asked. "I am a Human." I said simply. "But, might I ask, what are you?" I asked "We are ponies" A different pony said with a tired and annoyed tone of voice "Well that explains your size." I said mockingly. I got glares from everyone when I said that comment. We talked for quite some time. I told them of myself, my family, and where I came from. They told me of Pegasus, unicorn, Earth ponies, and the rare creatures called Alicorns which apparently were the large white creature and the large blue one that I faced outside. They then began telling me about the Alicorns and how they ruled over Equestria. I then began to ask questions about Equestria which they only answered a few of my questions. They probably did that because they were worried about more of my kind invading their land. I then began about what they called 'magic' which apparently they could not use on me very well hence the fact that apparently the two Alicorns had trouble blasting me back with their attack. And then I asked about their world, they gave me funny looks when I asked that, until I told them I was not from this world, then they began to flip out. One of the ponies flew away to get some help of some kind while the others were just spewing surprised words at me like "A-a-alien?" and "What-bu-but-how?" After awhile of them flipping out the pony that flew away returned with the large white and blue Alicorns, They also came with what looked like a lavender Alicorn, only this one was a lot smaller only a little bigger then the other ponies actually. The lavender Alicorn then began asking me all kinds of questions very rapidly and excitedly and writing down all the answers I could give her. She asked about where I came from, why I was here, who I was, and how long I was here. I answered all of these questions as best I could, however, it seemed to be like every time I answered a question two more appeared inside her brain. The questions went on for a good three hours or more. I answered as many questions I could. The creature then began saying that she would come back tomorrow and begin some kind of test on me. That raised hopes inside of me that maybe I could pull off an escape of some kind. I said goodbye and then spent the rest of the night sleeping on the thought of escape. I awoke to find six different guards around my cell, only these guards were different, they had what appeared to be shiny dark blue armor an grey fur as well as bat wings. "Night guards." I whispered to myself. Though I tried to be silent, the ponies still heard and answered. "Yes we are Night guards, what of it?" A female guard asked. "There is nothing 'of it' its just that I put two and two together. Tell me what time in the night is it?" I asked the female pony. "It is sunrise." A guard said walking down the hallway with the lavender pony. "Greetings, friend." I said. "We'll see if we are to be friends." The lavender pony said. "Sounds good to me." I said hiding the smile that was slowly rising within me. They unlocked the doors and a group of guard ponies surrounded me and started shoving me towards the large doors ahead. Well shit, I'm not going to be able to escape like this. I thought to myself. After awhile of walking they led me to what appeared to be a laboratory of some kind. There was machines everywhere around the room, a lot of the machines had crystals within them, only what was freaky was that the crystals were floating in midair within the machine. Stupid magic.I thought to myself. After awhile of looking about, they began to shove me towards a bed of some sort. They strapped me onto the bed and rolled me into a small room in the corner. But before I was rolled into the room I noticed he door open across the room and the white and blue alicorns entered. I stared them down as I was pushed into the small room, they stared back at me none of us wavering our stares until the door was closed to the point that I could no longer see them. "Your majesty's, the creature is ready for the scan." One of the ponies said but I could no longer see anyone, I could only hear. "Very good, please continue." I could tell from the voice that it was the dark blue one that the ponies called Princess Luna. "Yes your majesty." Once I heard those words fear started to grow within me and I struggled against my bonds. "Don't worry creature, you will not be harmed." what I could only assume was the white Alicorn said. "You are called Celestia correct?" I asked staring at the mirror that was ahead of me. "Yes I am Princess Celestia of Equestria." The alicorn said. "Well I suppose it is better sooner than late to get pleasantries out of the way, my name is Jesse." I said. "I'll remember that." Celestia said. And with that said and done with I then began to hear a loud humming noise that was coming from behind me. "We are just scanning you." Celestia said. "You will not be harmed." I nodded my head and took deep breaths and tried to relax. However, they were wrong, the next few moments I was placed in the worst pain I have ever felt in my life. As I heard the humming of the machine grow louder I started to feel a little ache in my head. "Okay this is starting to hurt." I said as the pain started to grow. "Don't worry, a little numbness in your head is normal." One of the ponies said. "IT IS NOT NUMBNESS DAMNIT, IT IS PAIN." I said very loudly. But it was right after I spoke those words that the pain grew to be something else. The pain now surrounded my whole head as I started to scream at the top of my lungs because of the pain, it felt like someone was ripping my head in half very slowly, trying to cause as much suffering as possible. I heard voices saying things but I could not make them out, I wasn't trying to make them out. I was struggling against my bonds as hard as I could but it was no use, I was stuck there on the receiving end of the pain. But then, it happened. I felt something in my head that stretched down through my whole body, I felt strong, the pain was now gone and now all that remained was the memory of it and this new found strength. With one hard tug the bonds snapped. I then got up and headed to the door delivering one hard punch to it sending it flying to the other end of the outside room. I then began to walk casually out the other door as I got looks from all the ponies, looks of fear, curiosity, and anger. They tried to stop me from leaving the room but I just sent them flying to the other end of the room. And then I started to make the long trek back to my homestead. The long, long trek back home. > Chapter 3: A New Found Enemy > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~Celestia~ Celestia stared in disbelief of what they created. In an instant however, she burst out of her stunned position. "Twilight, get to the other Elements and tell them to meet me in the throne room as soon as possible." Celestia said fear steadily growing inside her. Twilight nodded and started out the door when she stopped, a thought going through her mind. "Are we going to kill it?" Twilight asked. Fear in her eyes. "If we have to then, yes but I would much rather contain it if possible." Celestia said and then called out to the sergeant that was helping one of the two guards that the creature blew across the room, up on his feet. "Sergeant I want you to gather up your fastest and strongest guards available and send them after the creature, we cannot afford to let it loose with the possibility that it might attack my ponies." Celestia said staring hard at the sergeant. "Yes your majesty." The guard said while rushing out the door in a split second. ~Jesse~ I was now out of the city on my way towards to forest that was about two miles in distance. I should be able to get home by nightfall I thought to myself. Then all of the sudden I heard behind me the sound of flapping wings. I turned around but it was too late. The Pegasus rammed me into the dirt behind me but in a instant we were both up. I looked beyond the Pegasus and noticed several more ponies on their way towards me. "Aww hell no" I said to myself but at that moment the other pony in front of me noticed my attention was no longer on it and took that chance to ram me again into the dirt. I got up faster though this time and charged the Pegasus and gave a swift uppercut to the pony knocking it back at least a hundred feet. It was then though that fear crept in me. It was fear that I may have accidently killed the pony, I stared off towards the pony but to my relief the pony tried to get up, it wasn't dead but was extremely hurt. I then decided instead of bringing more harm to the creatures I would instead run. Though something in the back of my mind told me that I would have to kill in the end of all this. I reached the woods in due time while keeping the other Pegasus off my back by delivering quick jabs and hooks and at the same time delivering a scary bright flash of light that was not meant to harm the ponies just scare them, and to my luck, It did just that. But before I entered the woods I looked back at the castle only for fear to fill my eyes when I saw what appeared to be several thousand pony guards leaving the gates of the city. It was then that I had took to the fastest run I have ever done, it seemed like the new strength gave me quicker speed, however I was still not quite as fast as the Pegasus chasing me, but I was definitely faster then the Earth ponies and Unicorns that were behind the Pegasus in the long chase even if the unicorns teleported. Upon entering the woods I noticed almost immediately the path that I had made the other day. I followed the path for quite some time until I reached my home. It appeared that either I had lost the ponies in the woods or they had decided to leave me be for the time being until they regrouped with the army that was not to far from my homestead. I entered the building sat down on the couch with dark thoughts going through my mind. This new power I had gained gave me apparent super strength and faster speed. However, it also gave me horrible thoughts. I cant be stopped, with this new power who could stop me? I could rule this pathetic world. I could rule and kill whom I pleased I thought, a twisted smile growing on my face. But it soon disappeared when I realized what I was thinking. "I have to control it." I said to myself. I then got up made myself something to eat and prepared for the army that was closing in on my position. I then made up my mind to go out and face them because of the fact that I seemed to have no other option at this point seeming as they were trying to kill me. Without any fear In me I marched out the building and began my journey for the battle that was soon to come. For some strange reason that I could not make out I apparently lost the care that I had before. I still cared for the ponies that I would inevitably hurt or kill but not as much care as I had before. I left the building and started a quick jog towards the end of the woods. In about a couple of hours I reached the edge of the woods I noticed that the ponies had made camp right outside of the woods, so I then decided to go around and exit the woods through a different way, in other words flanking them. I exited the woods and gazed upon the mass of tents in front of me and a smile crossed my face. "If I'm going to go out, I am going to go out with a fight... And maybe a bang if I can manage it" With those words said I made the loudest war cry I had ever made, (hence it being louder then other times do to this power.) and watched as the ponies gathered up and stared at me, some had fear in their eyes while other had absolute rage. The two Princesses entered into view and gazed angrily at me. I gazed at them a wicked smile on my face as all the ponies started yelling and began their charge to destroy me, if they could. But I had tricks up my sleeve, I new how to use this new power and with that in mind I made my own charge using the new strength to increase my yell making it louder then all of the ponies that yelled in unison. And watched in what appeared to be slow motion as I drew up my fist and thrust it into the princess of the suns muzzle. > Chapter 4: A Bloody Mess > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I drove my fist into the white Alicorn that was before me, knocking her into the dirt while at the same time bringing my other hand delivering a blast that sent the other princess flying back. I then brought my fist into the ground, creating a wave of red that knocked all the ponies around back a few yards, accept the princess of the sun who created a shield around her. I looked down in fear as a bolt of gold light hit me in the chest, sending me down the hill tumbling without any way to stop quickly. Once I gained control of my body I jumped up the instant I could while looking back at the army that was running down the hill at me. The unicorns were sending blasts and blasts of magic beams at me while I struggled to create a force field that would allow me to block the shots. I was able to finally bring up a shield just in time to block a wall of magic that was headed in my direction. I was blinded by the light from the beams so I couldn't see the army that was closing in on me quickly. When the light was finally over leaving me able to see again I noticed that the army was literally right in front of me leaving no time to react as one of the ponies drove a spear into my side. I stared in shock at the wound as blood slowly left it. I looked up at the pony who did it only to find that the pony was scared half to death even though I was in pretty bad shape. It was only a little while after staring at the freaked out pony that I noticed that everything was quiet, to quiet. "Ouch" I said with blood starting to come out of my mouth leaving me choking a bit. I removed the spear and staggard backwards a bit but none the less I stood tall and proud. "I said I would go out with a fight and believe me when I tell you, that is what I intend to do." With that said I made a loud war cry once again and delivered a beam of red light from my fist that sent the pony that stabbed me back to where I could no longer see it. I charged the army sending punches and blast knocking pony after pony out of the battle. With one loud cry I began to spin in a circle blasting every pony around me. Though, I never killed any of the ponies (or at least tried not to) I made sure that I would not do that so I only knocked the ponies out. The only reason I was here was because of the glorious battle that the ponies brought to me. Next I teleported out of the battle and raised my hand to my side, sending a small amount of fire out of my hand, burning the open wound shut. I screamed out in pain as I continued my work. I noticed while I was doing this that all the ponies looked at me in horror at what I was doing. But I didn't care, all I did was stare at them, tears in my eyes, blood coming out of my mouth from the screams I was making. The pain was so bad that it brought me to my knees, almost knocking me out, however I knew that I could not allow that. So with more screams I pressed on. That Is when I noticed the two princesses that had entered the battle once again, they saw what I was doing and, as expected looked in horror at what they were seeing. Once I was done with this procedure I got back into the battle almost immediately, however I was slow from all the blood I lost from the wound, I indeed stopped the bleeding but that did not change the fact of all the blood I left on the battle field. But still somehow I managed to fight as I continued on with a dizzy brain and a soar body. I threw punch after punch, blast after blast, though I knew the only choice I had left. I teleported out of the fray, my bruised and bloody body showed easily in the dawn of the sun. Yes I said dawn. We fought around twelve hours but I could no longer stand to fight. I had knocked a good three quarters of their army out but with no more might in my system and fell over with a hard thud on the ground, the last thing I noticed was the two princesses trotting up to me with wicked smiles on their faces. And with that I remembered no more. Once I awoke I found myself chained against a wall in a very large room. I panicked and struggle against my chains but stopped when I noticed that there were four Alicorns in the room along with a large white stallion and five other ponies that I had not seen before in the room. The new Alicorn that I had never seen before was apparently larger then twilight yet not quite as large as the night princess, the new Alicorn was pink with a multi-color mane. Though to be fair it wasn't any of the Alicorns that I cared about nor the five ponies with strange necklace's on, it was the large stallion that I feared for the reason that he walked over to me and started to throw punch after punch that sent my head spinning. I hated that stallion so much then that I pulled against my chains as hard as I could, starting to break the chains that bound me. The unicorn stallion's horn in front of me glowed and as did every other being that had a horn, I then realized that they were trying to keep me bound. I struggled so hard against the chains that apparently I was able to slowly weaken them to the breaking point despite the unicorns/alicorns holding me down. I then sent one of the chains I had in my grasp toward the white stallion that sent him flying across the room. I then got up and prepared myself for a fight. I stood there just staring at the sight before me with out any fear whatsoever. It appeared that princess Twilight gathered with the other five unknown ponies and their necklace's started to glow. It was after a bit of seeing this that fear started to rise within me as I saw that their eyes began to glow and turn pure white. And then they started to float even though two of the ponies were earth ponies. "What the hell?" I asked no one In particular. It was then that the greatest enemy I have ever faced, my enemy; Harmony. The ponies launched what appeared to be a large rainbow blast that headed straight towards me. I created a shield around me but it was no use. The rainbow beam broke through the shield easily and blasted me back against the wall. I tried to hold it but it was no use, my arms failed me and the rainbow blast closed in. On impact I expected to be killed immediately but what greeted me was far worse. Once the beam hit me it began to work slowly as it began to turn me into stone. "SHIT!!!" I screamed but it was to late as the stone crept up on my body and covered it to where I could do nothing but stare in that same frozen position. ~Celestia~ "Well that settles it then" Celestia said while calling out to get someone to place the new statue in the gardens where it would be sealed until the worlds end. "Did we do the right thing?" Fluttershy asked shyly. "If we did not do this then the creature would have harmed more innocent ponies." Luna said with disgust towards the creature clear in her voice. "I suppose so." Fluttershy responded sadly. Celestia watched the statue of the creature with interest but soon gave it up in boredom. But as she began to leave the garden to get some guards to the area that the creature lived in she heard the distinct sound of something breaking off. She turned around only to stare in horror at what she saw. The creature stood tall taking heavy breathes but looking on with nothing but fear and anger in his eyes. And with that he teleported away. > Chapter 5: The Tears Of A Mad Man > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I stood on top the hill where the battle was fought not to long ago. I was so tired... so tired. The teleport drained me of what energy I had left. Though I had no energy left, it seemed that this new power also has the ability to regenerate blood faster for I felt fine other then lacking energy. I sat down gazing upon the city below and the beautiful castle on the side of the mountain. It was truly a beautiful site, never before have my eyes lain on something so magnificent in architecture. So that is all I did, gaze. Gaze upon the city and wondered what I would do next once my energy was back up in order. After staring for a good two hours or more I decided to start preparing for my journey home. I got up and started the trek back home. Of course I now had the energy to teleport back but I preferred the scenic walk through the woods. I walked and walked, thinking about all that had happened to me and the possibility of what might happen to me. I rebuilt from my past just to have all I had built to be taken away from me in one single night. How sad my life had been since. Why was I here? I kept asking myself. Was I brought here for a purpose? or was it all a mistake? Though no matter how much I asked, no answer came to me. I got home quicker then I wanted. The questions from before left me as I walked through the door. I went to the sink to splash some cold water on my face to help wake me up. Though the water did help, it did not have the full effect that I wanted. I was bored very, very bored. So what did I always do when I was bored? I played my guitar. After I was done with playing the boredom out of me I got up and walked out the door to get a breath of fresh air. "Damn, I must have been really bored if I played till nightfall." I said with surprise in my voice do to the fact that I just realized that it was night time. But what I didn't realize was the fact that there was something lurking within the woods around me, something preparing to strike. ~Twilight~ Twilight was walking to her room in the Canterlot castle with a very shocked look on her face. The reason for this shock was the fact that Twilight had just learned that the creature that they had turned to stone. Broke free from its cage. There had never been such power to ever break the Elements of Harmony in Equestria. Whatever this creature had it was able to break Harmony, not even Discord could do that, and he was the spirit of Disharmony. Was there nothing that they had that could kill the creature? She had never thought about killing the creature until now but it could become dangerous, no it WAS dangerous and it wouldn't leave Equestria alone until they killed it. ~Jesse~ I was about to walk back in side when it hit me, I turned around, rage in my eyes as I gazed down upon the pony that was able to stab me. With one quick wave of my hand I blasted the pony back easily knocking it out. I turned back to the bushes and released a ball of red light to aluminate my surroundings. However I saw nothing and felt nothing around me. I kept watching for awhile but when nothing happened I went back in side thinking that it was a single assassin sent to kill me. I took the knife out of my shoulder and put some hydrogen peroxide on the wound. I then decided to pay the princess a little visit tomorrow. And with that thought on mind I went to bed. But before I did I remembered and made sure that the pony outside would not stab me again in the middle of the night. ~Celestia~ Celestia stood on the balcony of her room as she stared at the battle field that they and the creature fought. But while she was looking at the field she then noticed that there was a Pegasus walking wounded out of the woods but what worried her was what was following the Pegasus. Behind the Pegasus was the creature in all its terrifying glory. The creature was watching Celestia very closely and angrily. Fear rose up within her as she slowly backed away from the balcony. "LUNA!!! ITS BACK CALL THE GUARDS WE HAVE TO DESTROY THE CREATURE NOW!!" Celestia said as she headed to where the elements slept. ~Jesse~ I stood on top the hill with the Pegasus that was slowly moving forward towards the city. I then decided to do the pony a favor and teleported it to the gates of the city where the guards helped her in. I watched on and on as the Princesses army (Or what was left of it.) walked out the gates with terror in their eyes. I watched as the four Alicorns walked through the gates as well as the five ponies that locked me up in stone. As soon as the ponies who put me in stone saw me shock went through them and they nearly passed out. However when Twilight saw me only hate went though her as she called upon her friends to prepare their necklaces to try to put me back into stone that kept me prisoner for a matter of hours. The six ponies gathered together and their weapon started its work as the rainbow blast shot up into the sky. I however was not effected by the fear that grasped me before as I watched the rainbow blast close in. I raised my hands up and prepared for the attack that would soon reach me. I released all my power into a blast that would counteract the rainbow blast. With a loud boom I released the large red beam and the two hit each other. However to my surprise the rainbow beam easily beat my own weapon as I watched as my beam started to fade. "Damn" I said coldly. I then teleported to a different angle to watch the light show. I watched in horror as my blast was easily defeated and the rainbow one made a quick sharp turn and headed towards my direction. I held my hand up once again and greeted the blast as it hit me, blasting me back towards the Equestrian army. I watched in terror as their weapon did its work on me once again. But this time, I was stronger. I waited till the stone nearly covered my head and then began to push against the stone, slowly breaking it. Cracks began to show in the stone with red light filling them. I then began to push with all of my might as I did before and the stone broke before me. However I was tired once again, not as tired but still tired. I teleported on top the hill as I had before and watched the army by the gates as they slowly approached me. I stared at the army that was now right in front of me. They just kept staring and as did I. I then released a ground blast so powerful that it sent the whole army besides the four Alicorns who all shielded themselves from the blast. I slowly stepped forward and they did the same. We continued this motion for quite some time until I was face to face with the Alicorns. I then sent a blast similar to the last but smaller and faster then the one that knocked the army back. To my satisfaction the blast knocked all the Alicorns back down the hill to where their army was. I looked down at them with tears in my eyes as a sudden flash back of my trials in my own world hit me like a freight train. Why was I doing this? I was never like this back on Earth. I then had a flashback of everything that had happened to me. How I was tortured as a child, how I had lost my parents who tortured me. and been adopted. And my appearance here in this world and all the ponies I had hurt during my time here. I then turned around and walked back into the woods with sorrow in my mind. "Will I never have peace?" I asked myself as the tears began to fall. ~Celestia~ Celestia stared at the creature that was on top of the hill with tears in its eyes. What had they done? They were raging war on a creature stronger then the Elements but that is what neither of them wanted. They were raging war on a creature that wanted none of this. A creature that wanted peace, that wanted to be free. > Chapter 6: A Shadow In The Dark > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I watched as the large shadow slowly crept up on the city of Canterlot. Ponies were running for their lives as the shadow got closer and closer to its destination. I watched on as smoke began to come from the city as the shadow now entered it. Leaving nothing but destruction in its path. Then with one long deep breathe, I ran. ~2 weeks earlier~ I entered my home, the tears still pouring out my eyes. I laid down on the couch crying myself to sleep as everything went through my mind at once. I hurt so many ponies, why? why did I do it? Of course I knew the answer to that question but it still flooded my mind as sorrow filled my heart. I just wanted peace could I not have that much? I was tired of hurting others for my own hurt self. I was tired... to tired. When I awoke I noticed the large stain on the carpet below me which I knew of course had to come from my tears. with a sniff I got up quickly, to quickly as my head started to spin. When my light head started to fade I was able to get my direction in order and headed towards the kitchen to splash some cold water on my face. I had began to make breakfast when I noticed an alarming sight before me. I was almost out of food. "Shit" I said to myself as I grabbed some sausage and cheese out of the fridge. I started the stove and began to cook the delicious meal. I didn't have much left, only enough for about a week maybe less. Once I was done with the food I sat down and ate on the dining table as I thought about what I would do for food. Then a thought struck me as a smile grew on my food stuffed face. I pulled out the fishing equipment from the closet and began to re-string the fishing rod. I always used to love to fish, it made me feel free for some reason that I did not know nor knew now. Once I was done setting up the fishing rod I went back to the closet and brought out the tackle box. There was a boat load of dust on the box, yes I loved to fish but back on my world but I had to much work to do at the time so the fishing gear slowly got dustier and dustier. I set out on my journey to find a river. Surly this world had fish on it right? I asked myself but shook the thought out of my head and convinced myself that they had to have fish. I walked for hours on end with nothing in sight but woods. "This isn't getting me anywhere." I said and decided After a little while longer I would head back. I had walked for another fifteen minutes and that was enough for me, but before I turned and teleported home I noticed a glimpse of light reflecting off of something in the distance. Out of curiosity I walked towards the reflection. As I neared the object I noticed that it was a sheet of stainless steel however it was what the sheet of metal was in that interested me. The metal was in a small stream. It was to small to fish in but might lead to something bigger. I made it up in my mind to follow the stream tomorrow when I had gotten some sleep and some more food in me. I was pretty hungry then as to be expected when you walk for hours on end. Then with one quick thought through my mind, I teleported home. When I awoke I did not wake well... I didn't wake well at all. I felt something, something strange. Whatever that something was it was making my heart heavy. It hurt me. I looked around everywhere but I found nothing. But I felt something, I knew something was here. I stood up to get a better look at my surroundings but I still did not notice anything out of the ordinary. I used my power to turn the lights on but even with the lights it did not ease my heart. I was growing frantic now, fear slowly but surly started to cover my body. I shook my head as I tried to regain my senses. After awhile of taking deep breathes and trying to ease my mind and fast beating heart I noticed that it was... gone, my heavy heart and fear gone just like that. I opened the door and entered the kitchen, a small smile touched my face at what greeted me. There was nothing, just pure peace, what I had been searching for, for so long. I made myself some breakfast and got ready to head out the door to the stream that I saw yesterday. I picked up the fishing gear and headed out the door. I remembered where I was before so there was no need to walk, I could just teleport and that is what I did. After a moment of time I appeared by the stream and began my walk towards what would hopefully be a river or lake where there might be some fish to catch, but only time would tell. I walked for what seemed like hours and probably was but I did not care for any of that when what I found brought hope to me. What I saw in front of me appeared to be a very large creek or a small river that the small stream joined. A large smile covered my face as I cast my rod in with the rubber worm on the hook. While fishing I noticed that the area I was in was not quite as wooded as where my home was. There was a clearing ahead of me that I decided to check out once I was done with this cast. I reeled in my lure with nothing on the end of it where the hooks were. I was a bit sad at that but it did not stop me from pressing on towards the clearing ahead of me. I entered the clearing and found it to be something amazing. There were so many beautiful things in it. Flowers of all kinds, birds of many colors flying with the wind. I sat down amazed by the fantastic sight that was before me. Never before have I ever seen something so beautiful, something so majestic as this. The clearing itself wasn't that large, perhaps three acres at the max but that was not the point. The trees around the clearing had mixes of different colored leaves, some had red leaves while other had green, blue, white, and yellow. Each bore a fruit of some kind. However I did not take the venture to eat their fruit because of the fact that they could poison me. I just sat there, smile on my face and a happy heart, finally a joyful sight that I could admire and love. I stayed in that clearing for to long, I wasted my time gazing at the beautiful sight and it was now getting dark. Surprisingly enough, the clearing actually got more fantastic as the sun began to set. But I knew I could not linger so with that I teleported home with that smile still plastered on my face as I began the same routine of making dinner then going to either play my guitar till I got tired enough to go to sleep or, as the case was now I was already tired and decided to hit the hay. > Chapter 7: Me And My Guitar > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I awoke with a want in my heart to go out to that field once again. Of course I wouldn't make the same mistake that I had before about letting the fish go, along with the daylight. So I got up went to the bathroom, took a shower, got breakfast, and headed out the door. But before I left I remembered something that I wanted to do. So I grabbed my guitar and then headed out the door. Once out the door I then walked to where the field was located. Of course I could have teleported and saved a couple hours but it was early in the day and my heart was merry. So I decided to take the scenic rout. ~Celestia~ "Sergeant." Celestia said. "I want you and your best ponies to go out and locate where the creature is and if it leaves its home, follow it, but do not engage. I want to know the creatures hobbies and what it does when it is alone." She said. "Yes your majesty." The sergeant said with a low bow and then headed out the door. Once the pony was gone Luna spoke to Celestia. "Wouldn't it be easier if we just kill the beast? I hate the thing" Luna said with disgust in her voice. "If you want it dead then why don't you go out and kill it yourself?" Celestia asked. "Maybe I will." Luna responded teasingly. And with that she left the room. ~Jesse~ Once I reached the field I sat down, brought my guitar up and played the song that was on my mind. It was surprising of this world, I never expected music to sound so live in this world. It made me actually start singing the song. It was wonderful, so peaceful and my smile never left my face. It was just so peaceful there. It was like all the beauty that could be found on Earth was compacted in this one little area. Though none of this was going through my mind at the time. All that was going through my brain was the fact that along with me singing the song there seemed to be music that came from nowhere but it fit the song perfectly. So I doubled my efforts with the guitar and played for a good long while. Once I was finished I leaned against a tree that was near me and rested my head. Thoughts of all kinds were going through my head. Thoughts of home, of here, of my family, and of my enemies. Though were they really my enemies? I suppose they were but how I wished that they were not. Though my wishes did not change the fact that I was at war, a war that needed to end as soon as possible. Next time I see the princesses I will make sure to try and negotiate instead of hurt. I thought to myself. I then proceeded to get up and walk over to the creek. I cast my rod in and started playing with the lure. After a few casts I received a bite along with a yank and then finally a hooked fish. I reeled the fish in and gazed at its size. It was a fairly decent sized small mouth bass (Or at least I thought it was a small mouth.). I put it in my bag that I brought along with me and cast my rod once again into the creek. And once again I was greeted with a bite, a yank, and a hooked fish. Only this fish was one I had never seen before. It had a very large mouth and two puny eyes, it was grey in color and had black and green stripes going through it. It really was a strange looking fish but none the less I through it in the bag and cast the rod again. ~Luna~ Luna watched the creature as it played its instrument and singing a song that she had never heard before. Though a being from a different world would probably have different music. She new the creature could talk their language but she did not know it was it's language she expected it was using some form of magic to adapt to their language. She eventually found herself nodding her head to the beat of the music and almost let her voice slip into the song as well. But she knew better then to compromise the mission so early. While she was starring at the creature she noticed that it had a look of peace on its face. Even with all the pain that it had endured in this world and she didn't know what horrors could be on its planet. But that look of peace never left its face and honestly it was almost a kind look, a very happy and content look. She and the guard ponies stayed watching the creature for quite some time play song after song. Then, after it was finished the creature set down its instrument and grabbed some kind of long pole with string that stretched down from a small metal basin through seven holes and then out the top hole to where the string led back down to where what appeared to be a rubber worm was located at one of the lower holes and a hook that went through it onto one of the holes. The creature then started walking out of the field. Of course they followed it, they had to it would be a failed mission if they left now. But something in her heart told her to leave, to let the creature be and go separate ways. But instead she followed the creature as it went down to the large creek that is known as Anabass Creek. She watched as the creature did something to its pole making the string come out of the end of it and land in the water. It then began to pull the rubber worm through the water to it by spinning a trinket on the bottom of the pole. It did this several times until it became clear what the was doing. It was fishing. Only this was the strangest form of fishing that Luna had ever seen. Normally fishing was done by Griffons bye them either swooping down from the air or by bow fishing. When the creature caught the first fish one of the guards almost puked but was able to hold it back and not let the creature know they were there. It was obvious that the creature was either a Omnivore or a Carnivore, she was not hoping for the latter. The creature caught several fish and said to itself, "That's good enough for a while." And then began to head to its instrument, it grabbed it and teleported away to what they could only assume was its home. They did the same thing only, they did not teleport to the direct entryway of the house but instead teleported a little distance away to where the house was barely in view. They neared the house and looked through the windows of the building. She sighed when she saw the creature pull fruit out of a storage box, but she tensed almost immediately when she saw the fish being thrown up on the counter and the creature taking out a rather large knife. "We've seen enough." Luna told her other guards and they headed off to Canterlot. > Chapter 8: Grace She Comes With A Heavy Load > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I ran with all my might through the woods while all at the same time losing ground against my foe. "COME HERE YOU LITTLE SHIT!!!" He shouted after me. I burst through another clearing as I looked behind me only to see trees falling to the ground under the giants legs. I turned back around to start running again but what greeted me was a large brick wall that stretched miles across the forest. "YOU SHOULD KNOW YOU CAN NEVER RUN, YOU WILL NEVER BE FREE!." The giant yelled. Then he stretched out his hand and grabbed me, almost crushing me to death. I looked up at the face only the see the drunkard of my past. My old pop. And with that he began to squeeze. I awoke sweating like a bullet. The sheets were soaked with perspiration. I got up and went to a small chair in the corner of the room. "Hell, that was a rough one." I said while taking deep breaths to ease my beating heart. When I managed to get control over my heart I went over to the bathroom and splashed some cold water on my face to help wake me up. I left the bathroom, opened my wardrobe and through on a new pair of cloths for the day. I made it up in my mind that I would use the creek to wash my cloths and put them out in the field for drying when the sun hit it. But I didn't have to do any of that yet. I was always a lazy person when it came to laundry but I knew I would have to step up on that platform if I was going to live right, well as right as I could seeming as I am an enemy of a Nation. I left the bedroom and went to the kitchen where I began to cook some of the fish that I caught the other day. I grabbed some salt and pepper and began to lightly season the fish, my mother though she was also a drunk she was a pretty good cook. She taught me what I know whenever she wasn't under the liquors spell. When I was finished cooking my breakfast I sat down at the dining table where I was about to eat my dish when I heard I knock on the door. I stayed frozen for a few moments and then said to myself. "What the hell?" And with that I got up and cautiously moved towards the door. Upon opening the door I was greeted by a sharp pain that was introduced into my arm and a vision of black that soon enveloped my entire body as I passed out, one thought went through my mind then and there, Why am I so stupid?. ~Celestia~ She watched the creature in its seat as it slept in its unwelcomed slumber. She had ordered the creature brought to the throne room unconscious. She also ordered the Elements and shining armor and Princess Cadence to come to the throne room. Now they all waited for the creature to wake up from its slumber so that they could finally be free. ~Jesse~ I woke up in a hard wooden chair with my hands bound. "Not this shit again." I said as I snapped the ropes easily. "You actually trusted rope, man your stupid. and with that I stood up in my seat and said a happy hello to all the ponies in the room. The white stallion walked over to me, and once again through a jab thinking that he could over power me. I simply however just raised my hand and grabbed his hoof. "Obviously if the Princesses wanted me hurt or killed they would have done so as soon as possible given my unconscious position a few minutes ago." I said with a smirk on my face as I through my own punch at the stallion and blasted across the room. "I'll be right back" I said as I teleported out of the room into my house. I grabbed my guitar and teleported back. Why I thought this was a good idea I would nor will never know but I was bored and thought maybe a song or two would lighten the tension in the room. I teleported back and brought up my guitar and started playing the song that I loved but had not played in quite some time. I played the song perfectly, every note and chord was right on, and the music that came from this world also helped the song. After I had finished I placed the guitar on the table and crossed my legs and said "Now, what did you want?" I asked. As they all stared in awe at my musical talent except Luna who had a pleasant smile on her face from the song. I smiled and asked again breaking them out of their daze. "Right, okay then." Celestia said as she levitated a piece of paper in front of me. "You can read and wright correct?" Celestia asked secretly hoping that the creature was able to understand their written language. From what Luna told her of the creature, it actually was talking in their language, or his language as it may be. "That is correct. Oh, and by the way, I am a Human and my name is Jesse." I responded with a smile, taking the paper. I looked down and was happy to see that everything they had on there was English, or would they call it Equues? I didn't know nor cared for that matter. "What is this?" I asked in confusion as I read the words out "Why so many conditions?" I asked as a second question for the paper seemed to be some sort of treaty but with A LOT of conditions. "Well there should be a lot of conditions in this particular thing. And it is a peace offering." Luna said simply. "Peace? I never thought I would hear that from you." I said mockingly. Luna was about to respond harshly from what I could tell but Celestia stopped her before she blew her top and said. "It is what we all want. Even you want it." Celestia said. "No paper will bind me down." I said and stood up, put the paper down and walked over to Celestia. "My history with oaths are not that good but I promise to you that I will not fight you or your subjects unless I must commit self defense." I said while stretching out my hand for a shake. She shook my hand and said. "And I promise likewise." I nodded and walked back over, grabbed my guitar and was about to teleport home when a thought came to mind. "By the way. Thanks for not killing me in my sleep." I said with a smile and with that said I teleported home. ~Celestia~ Celestia watched as the human teleported away. "Well that went smoother then I had suspected." She said. "I still think it was a bad idea to bring the creature here." Shining armor said while rubbing his muzzle. Nods came from the Elements and cadence for they all thought it unwise. But Celestia had a history with creatures, both dangerous and harmless. Of course this Human was a lot more dangerous than anything she had met before but she still believed. Though she did not trust the 'Human' all the way. She was starting to lean to trusting him more. "If he wanted to destroy Equestria he could have done so a long time ago." She said in response. "Well it is done now, it is in the past." Luna said making sure to cut off shining's rebuttal. "Well with your permission I would like to go and question the 'Human' now." twilight said, barley being able to hold back her anxiousness. "Well he didn't sign the paper but I suppose he would let you know if he didn't want you to talk to him, but be careful." Celestia said with some hesitation in her words. Then with a quick 'squee' Twilight left the room so fast all that could be seen was the blur of colors that her trail left. > Chapter 9: 10, 20, 30, Oh Who am I Kidding? > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I entered my home and placed my guitar on the table. "Hello again home" I said as I smiled at the beautiful sight before me: my refrigerator. I opened up the fridge and pulled out the last bit of bacon and cheese that was within. I walked over to the stove and noticed that I never cleaned my frying pan. I was not about to cook on something that filthy so I put the food back into the fridge and took the frying pan and grabbed a wet sponge and began to clean the cooking instrument. Upon finishing my cleaning for the cooking instrument I placed it on the stove and started it up. I walked back on over to the fridge where I took the bacon and the cheese out once again. I then walked back over to the stove and placed the bacon in the frying pan. After I had finished cooking the lunch I sat on the table and began to eat the delicious meal. I always loved to wrap the cheese (American) around the bacon. It tasted sooooo good and always will. Once I was finished with the food I stood up and stretched, cracking my back quite loudly while doing so. I then began to walk to the living room to continue my laziness but I stopped when I noticed something rather horrifying. The place was a mess, dishes cluttered the counter the rugs were filthy and my wood floor had boat loads of trash bags that were by the door. I sighed "It's always something else aint it?" I said regretting this day as I had A LOT of work to do. But without spending more time being lazy I walked towards the bags and grabbed a few that I took outside and threw with all my might. I watched the bags as they sailed through the air above the tree lines. When I heard a loud clunk in the distance I nodded my head and went back inside, mumbling to myself. Once I had finished with the work I sat down with a thud and gazed at the beautiful work that I did to the house. The rugs, dishes, windows, mirrors ect. were all clean. Not a spot could be seen. I smiled to myself as I got up from my seat, grabbed my guitar and sat back down again where I began to play a song That I always use to sing when I was young, I played the song quite a few times that day as my smile never left my face. "Welcome back." I said as I slumped back down in my chair and closed my eyes. I wasn't going to go to sleep I was just resting my body from the work. I used to be in quite some shape. But now that the fighting has stopped and I don't have a job I have to deal with my 'slowly gaining wait' kinda body. As I thought about that, fear grew within. The last thing I wanted was to get fat, Ewwwwww is all I could think about that particular subject. And so with that thought in mind, I left the building and began a quick jog towards the field. Luckily for me the distance to the field is mostly flat making my journey not to difficult. I was approaching the creek, I was breathing heavily and my brain was getting light headed. I never knew jogging could where you out this quickly. I sat down on a rock and began to get control of my breathing/heartbeat. This little trip got me outa breathe and I still had to jog all the way back. I sighed and got up, I made it up in my mind that I would not jog that distance again till a day or two had past. I was still breathing very heavily but I didn't listen to my burning lungs, instead I teleported over to the field. I sat down, my head leaning against a tree. I gazed out at the beauty of this small area, but to me it wasn't small, to me it seemed endless. I smiled and closed my eyes to the sound of the wind blowing through the trees and the birds chirping their merry little songs. After awhile the wind began to pick up speed. I opened my eyes and gazed up at the sky, there were clouds forming... dark clouds. Before now I had never been rained on but a little. But this appeared to be a HUGE storm. I got up and teleported out, but right before I teleported the rain started hitting, rather hard. I entered my house and closed the door quickly, being sure not to get any water within the house, but I was unlucky as some of the rain water got within my household. This particular storm was the worst one I have ever seen in my life. It was far worse then any storm I had experienced before, it was so loud, annoying, and made me think that it was going to bring the building down. I sat down on the couch and put my head in my hands and sighed. "Hell of a thing." I said making sure that I groaned and grumbled loudly. I picked my head up, grabbed my guitar and played the hell out of the storm. However this storm would be far worse then I had ever thought to be. I was laying on the couch while listening to the horrible storm that was going on outside. What the hell are the weather teams doing during this, isn't their job to fix this stuff? I thought to myself. But no matter what I did I could not stop the rain, I even got so desperate as to go out and yell at the storm. I could stop Harmony but I cant stop the worlds weather. So without putting anymore thought in the storm, I lade down and tried to go to sleep, but something told me I wasn't going to sleep well that night. ~Twilight~ Twilight had entered the woods quite some time ago but she did not know where the 'Human' lived so she was at a disadvantage to finding the Human. She trotted through the forest without a single clue as to where the human was. But she would not give up, especially since they could learn so much from an alien species. CRACK. Twilight looked up towards the sky only to find dark clouds forging it. She forgot that the weather team in Canterlot was trying to break the record for the strongest rain storm ever recorded. She sighed as she looked back down at the earth. She shook her head and made it up in her mind that nothing would stop her from tracking the human down. So with her head held high, she trotted off. But her head would soon be brought low as the clouds began to groan under the wait of the water they were holding. She continued on her journey to find the human, though her fur properly soaked and her heart failing she still continued without the single thought of leaving for the time being. She kept pressing on through the woods to find the human that she had wasted her entire day on searching for, but none of this bothered her, well not yet anyways. "I should have asked for some help in directions." Twilight said with a sigh, though she knew very well in her heart that she wanted to find the living place for the creature on her own. She kept going through the woods until she heard the distinct sound of music playing off in the distance. It was faint because of all the rain, but it was there. She followed the music for quite some time and finally through all her searching had found the home the creature lived in. She would have actually misjudged it for a pony's home if it weren't for the fact that she looked through the window to identify the human. And It indeed was the Human, playing away at his instrument. The music actually sounded pretty catchy but she could not afford to be distracted by such things as music at a time like this. She was about to open the door to enter the building and begin her interrogation of the human. But when she reached the door knob the music stopped. She rushed back to the window just in time to find the creature turning off the lights and laying down, there on the couch, like a potato. She smiled and cast a long distance teleportation spell to her room in the Canterlot castle. She now knew where the creature lived, and tomorrow would be a day to remember. ~Jesse~ I awoke that morning to the sound of me, falling off the couch and simply saying "Ouch". I got up and stretched, cracking my bones several times in the process. I walked over to a chair and slumped down in it. I put my hands in my head and thought about what I wanted to do today. I made it up in my mind that some more fishing would be good to both my fridge and me. I stood up and approached the fridge but before I made it half way to the kitchen I heard a knock on the door. "Uh, Oh." I said while slowly turning to face the door. I continued to stare at the door while knocks kept on flowing their way into my ears. Finally I made it up in my mind to use my power to open the door. I opened the door from a distance and stared out at the longing face of Twilight Sparkle. "What the hell do you want?" I asked, keeping my distance from the Alicorn princess. "Oh nothing much, just some answers." She said while zipping right past me towards the couch to where she took her seat. "I didn't say you could come in!" I said quite angrily do to the fact that my own home was so easy to penetrate. I was lucky I was still alive. "Oh, right! Sorry about that." She said while teleporting back on the porch. "May I come in?" She asked. I just shook my head and waved my hand for her to proceed to her seat. She pretty much drove me mad with all the questions she asked. This was not the cautious Twilight that I knew before when I was locked up within the castle. This was a always never stop exploring type Twilight, and I hated this kind of Twilight. Finally the questions came to an end. She had gotten her fill of knowledge And of notes. Seriously, I have never seen anyone like this particular pony. I even picked up my pace of talking and she still kept up with me with her notes. By the time we were finished she had gone through three notebooks and the fourth was almost full. She left the building with a content smile on her face. And I shut the door as soon as she had teleported away. She had asked me during the interrogation that she wanted to take another scan of me, of course I said no to this. I would never go through another endeavor like that. I sat down on the couch and rested my weary brain. "Well that gets rid of fishing for the day." I said with a loud sigh. "But that doesn't mean its the end of the day." I said with a smile as I grabbed my guitar and started playing: Puff The Mgaic Dragon. It was also one of my favorite songs to sing when I was a child. Even though whenever my parents caught me singing they would beat me. But that did not stop my love for music. Though I had a strong love for music, I never wanted to make a thing out of it as I mentioned before earlier in this story, I always wanted to be in the Navy. > Chapter 10: A Meeting Of Good Intention > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I jogged through the woods once again towards the field. It was a beautiful day out. The storm had past and left the ground extremely muddy which made it quite hard to jog, but I did it anyways. I approached the creek in the distance while I slowed my pace to try and get some more air in my burning lungs. I reached the creek and sat down in the mud getting my rear end soaked, but to be frank, I didn't really care at that moment for all I was trying to do was get some well needed oxygen within me. When I had finally stopped breathing heavily I stood up and regretted it almost immediately as my head started to spin and become light. It took a few moments but my head came back to me and I teleported back home. I grabbed my fishing rod, the tackle box and a bag to hold the fish that I was hoping to obtain. I teleported back and walked closer to the creek to cast my rod. The water was flowing very fast so I had to make sure to put some more wait on the line. Sure enough, after a few casts I got a bite and started to reel it in. It took a little bit because this particular fish was a fighter and didn't want to give up. But I finally was able to get the first fish that day. It was one of those ugly looking ones that I had never seen before back on Earth but this one seemed to have more strength then the others and was smaller, though it was still a decent size. It turns out that those fish are great for eating, they taste absolutely divine. I cast my rod in once again and waited patiently for the food to come to me. The fishing was now over and I had caught an abundant amount of food. I had brought them home and cut them up, smoked most of them on the grill and put them inside a ziplock bag that I placed in the fridge. I then place a few other fish that would get eaten in a few days. Don't get me wrong, smoked fish is good, but fried fish just cant be beat. I left one fish out so that I could have dinner. It was getting late, and Celestia was going to be setting her sun soon. Normally I would wait longer for dinner but I was really starting to get hungry. I had finished with the fish that I was cooking and brought it to the table to eat. I let it cool down for a couple of minutes and then began to stuff my face once I had seasoned it with all the necessities a man could need. I was always a pig when it came to eating alone. I would grab the fish with both hands and begin chewing in the most idiotic way, but hey, that is just me being me I suppose. I had finished eating and cleaned off my plate in the sink. I didn't have a dishwasher so I had to do everything by hand, but it wasn't that hard especially if you get into a habit of always cleaning the dishes that you use after you use them. I then headed off to the couch, picked up my guitar and started playing. I sang with the song perfectly and the chords were straight as always on this world. I don't know what it is with this place and music but I like it and could play for hours on end if I chose.(Which I did choose from time to time.) But I couldn't play for hours this time as I only played for an hour and then my brain started to leave me as I traveled to my bedroom in the distance. ~Celestia~ Celestia was relaxed now that the threat of the 'Human' was gone. Though truth be told she still feared it, she knew now that 'he' only wanted peace. And that is what he got now, peace. She wondered what he would do with it, would he live by himself like a hermit? or would he eventually open up and confront them in a friendly manner? She decided to find out. ~Jesse~ I got out of bed and gave a loud yawn. I went and put a new pair of cloths on. I knew eventually I would need more cloths to survive the winter that was on its way as the ones I was wearing at the moments were getting really old and saggy. I would also need to stack up on food before the creek froze over but that was in all do time. Maybe later I would go out and fish again, if I didn't then I might be forced to do that last thing I wanted to do. Get a job and buy my food from Canterlot. The very thought made me shiver, however if I was going to survive then that might just be what I had to do (if they would accept me that is.). I didn't have a fire place so there was no need to worry about wood, however power was a problem. I didn't know if there was a limited supply or if it was unlimited. But the main thing is, is that if I run out of power, I run out of heat. However I did have my body heat, thick blankets, sleeping bags, heavy jackets and coats and everything a man could need when the winter comes, but still, not having to worry about all that heavy stuff would be very convenient. I went to the kitchen and brought out some more fish to cook for breakfast. It didn't take too long to cook the fish and before I knew it I was having a delicious meal that would give me the energy for today. Not that I had anything planned but still like I said before I might go out and fish some more. I thought about going out for another jog but I knew better then to strain my muscles after yesterdays work out. But that left the one question that awaited me and was now bothering me, what was I going to do? Though it is true that I could play my guitar for hours on end, playing for an entire day would sicken even me. I had finished my breakfast, cleaned my plate and headed over to the couch. I had grabbed my guitar and started playing a song that, to be honest I wasn't that good at but thanks again for this world and its strange fetish with music. ~Shining Armor~ Armor had been given the distinct duty to find an bring the creature to Celestia. Though he was told not to force it or provoke it he might end up doing that anyway. He despised the creature for what it had done. He despised the creature for what it was. An alien of such power should be locked up or even killed but no, instead they let the creature roam free. It could kill any of then at any time!. It was absurd and it seemed like he was the only who saw it. But he was given an order and he would see it through, no matter what. He approached the building in the distance and, as he neared it he could hear the distinct sound of music coming from it. He looked through the window of the building and noticed the creature playing its strange instrument. It seemed to really like music, maybe they could use that. He shook his head from the thoughts and approached the door, giving it a few knocks. The instant he did the music stopped, as expected. He could hear the distinct sound of feet walking closer to the door. Armor had expected him to open the door and peek his head out but instead the door opened with an erie red glow surrounding the door knob. The door opened and as soon as the creature saw him it blasted him back into a tree behind shining. "What the hell do you want!" The creature shouted. "Please- j-just listen to me." Armor said as he tried to get air into his lungs. The blow the creature gave him had knocked all the air out of him and may have fractured a couple of his ribs. "Why the HELL do you think I will listen to YOU of all people!?" The creature said with rage in its eyes. And then all of the sudden, it was gone, just like that. The creature walked up to him and reached out his hand. Armor took it and the creature brought him back up on his hooves. "Thanks." Armor said with a little disgust in his voice. "Princess Celestia has requested your presence." He said standing straight and tall. At this the creature raised an eyebrow in question. "Why would Celestia want me?" The creature asked in confusion. All Shining could do was shrug his shoulders at this. Then the creature grabbed him and shoved him against the tree and spoke: "If there is any funny business ANY whatsoever, you and all the others will pay for it." The creature said with a snarl and then released him. "When does she want to see me?" The creature asked. "High Noon tomorrow." Armor said. "Tell her I'll be there." With that shining nodded his head and teleported out of there. ~Jesse~ "High noon... I wonder if its gonna be like the film." I said with a slight chuckle to myself. "That would be epic." I said still laughing. I headed back inside, closed the door and prepared for the next day, I prepared for High Noon. > Chapter 11: High Noon > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was jogging towards the city of Canterlot for the Princesses want. Thoughts of all kind were going though my head about what the Princess could want, but I just put them away by telling myself that I would know soon enough. Sure I could have teleported but it was my workout day so I timed it and headed out with a light jog towards the castle. I gave myself a little more time just in case I have to stop for something. I exited the woods and the city was now in view so I headed out at a bit of a faster pace to the city. This jogging was actually helping quite a bit, I could already feel the strength in my legs growing. As for the other parts of my body I had decided that when I come back I would start a schedule and begin an actual workout that consisted of pushups and situps, I would do different exercises but I had no equipment to do so, so I was stuck with the way I am. But I know that would get my strength up somewhat. I approached the gates of the city and stopped my jog. I opened the gates without the guards consent which earned me two spears pointed at my neck. I chose to do the last thing that I should have done because of a sudden anger that grew within me, I blasted them into the walls. Immediately feeling guilty about what I have done I went over and helped the two guards up. "I am here to see the Princess of the sun." I said smiling. The two guards nodded their heads in fear. "She's waiting for you in the throne room." Another guard said that had popped out from within the city. I nodded and said: "Very well then." And headed off towards the castle. I could have teleported but I would rather have made myself more known to the populace. I entered the castle gates, this time however I did not force my way in I simply went along with their way. I entered the castle and immediately headed off to the throne room. I had never walked to the throne room before so I didn't know my way, yet somehow I did because I found myself knocking on the door within a few minutes. I waited patiently for the door to open and, as always patience is a virtue as I watched the huge door open and the Princess of the sun bided me enter. And so I did. "Hello my dear." I said with a smile. "Greetings." She said with a smile as well. "May I ask why you have asked for me this beautiful day?" I asked, that smile still on my face. (That's a lot of asked I know.) "You may. The reason you were asked to come here is do to the fact that I want answers." Celestia said, her smile now gone. This got my attention and the attention of my eyebrow as it began to raise up in question. "Answers?" I asked confused. "Indeed, do not worry it is not anything that will endanger you or anypony." Celestia said which calmed me somewhat. "I just have a couple of questions, such as, what do you plan to do now that we have peace?" Celestia asked. "Well I am preparing for the upcoming winter, by the way, how cold does it get up here?" I said. "It doesn't get too cold, but it gets cold enough. I would have to estimate it around zero degrees fahrenheit at the coldest." Celestia said. "Though it will probably be in the twenties most of the time." Celestia said in answer to my question. "Is that all you will do?" Celestia asked in question. "Probably." I said. "Is this all you wanted to know?" I asked as another question. "No. I want to offer a proposition for you." she said. "Would you be interested in some of the materials we have here in Canterlot?" Celestia asked. Already I was catching on. This wasn't going to be anything like the movie. "Most likely, however I would prefer not to waste my time on such things as your people don't seem to like me very much." I said, thinking back to my walk to the castle. I got tons of scared stares. "Listen Jesse, I want us to become friends not enemies." she said with a frown clear on her face. This however just got me a laugh. "So that is what you want? I would be happy to become friends, like you I am quite tired of the fighting." I said with a smile. "Though friends just don't come out of the blue." I said. "How about every once in awhile I'll come by here and we can have a friendly conversation?" I asked with a smile. This earned Celestia a smile as she responded: "I think that would be nice." she said. I nodded, said farewell and teleported home. "Well that was an eventful meeting I said, that smile still on my face. I walked inside and headed to the kitchen to make myself some lunch. ~Celestia~ Celestia had just sent a letter to the Twilight telling her to gather the Elements to meet her in the throne room in a couple days. She had a mission for them, a mission of good intention. ~Twilight~ Twilight and her friends had just received the mission from Celestia and headed out to the forest where the 'Human' lived. The mission was to treat the human with respect and have him befriend them, for what reason she did not know but it is what she intended to do nonetheless. "So, why are we doing this again?" Rainbow asked. "Were going to befriend the funny looking fellow silly!" Pinky said in her common happy tone. That bounce in her step always present. "I don't think this is wise sugarcube." Applejack said, a slight tremble within her. "Nonetheless we were given a job, and we will see it through." Twilight said without the least bit of fear in her voice. They approached the house in the distance. They reached the door and knocked. ~Jesse~ "God what is it with these ponies and their constant nacking... and knocking?" I said letting out a rather long sigh. I stepped towards the door and opened it from a distance. "Hi." I said in a bored tone. "Come in and have a seat." I said and waved my hand to show where they could sit. "Thanks!" Twilight said as she led the other five into the house. Not to long ago I would have fought them and hurt them. But now I wasn't the least bit scared of them knowing that even their most powerful weapon could not defeat me. "Can I get you anything?" I asked the six. They all responded with a shake of their heads. "Very well." I said and took a seat myself. "Now why have you come?" I asked a bit tiredly and dryly. "WeweresentbyprincessCelestiatobefriendyouforthepurposeofsomethingshedidnotletusknowabout!" Pinky said so quickly that it brought my mouth to the floor. All the others laughed at this. I stood up and headed out the room telling them that I would be right back. I grabbed my guitar and headed back into the room thinking that some music would lighten the mood. That got all their attention. Which brought more questions that Twilight had forgot to ask last time she was here. "What is it Darling?" Rarity asked as she studied the fine shape and wood of the guitar. "It is know in my world as an acoustic guitar." I said as I played a D chord. This got them all wanting more and so I played them more. I was glad to see it wasn't just this world that liked music but also the beings living on the planet as they began to sing with me even though they had never heard the song before. When the song was over I placed the instrument on the ground and placed my hands on my lap. "OhdoitagainDOITAGAIN!" Pinky said in excitement. All this did though was make me laugh. "In a little bit." I said. That got Twilights attention as she began to ask some more questions about music in my world. I answered happily as I saw that there were only a few questions, still the Alicorn couldn't miss the chance to jot down new stuff on her notepad. After the questions were finished I got up and headed to the kitchen I grabbed myself some water. I re-entered the living room and sat back down. "So, the princess sent you did she?" I asked and they all nodded in response. I nodded and said: "Well I will tell you the same thing that I told the Princess, it will take time. I will not except any of you as friends, not yet." I said and when I said that they all sunk their heads and nodded. "But, that does not mean that we wont become friends, so don't lose hope. Never lose hope." I said which got them to perk up again. I picked my guitar back up and played another song. However on this song, I was the only one singing as they all had began to stare blankly at whatever they were looking at. Though I knew in my heart that this song had touched them somehow as I knew that look well, for I used to do it all the time myself. ~Twilight~ "Well that was rather spectacular was it not darling?" Rarity asked Twilight as they left the house that the creature had lived in. However Twilight was in such deep thought that she could not here a word Rarity had spoken. "Uh, Twilight, you okay?" Applejack asked with worry clear in her voice. Twilight however was in too much a stupor and actually walked into a tree which knocked her out of her trance. "Oww" Twilight said as she got up with the help of Rainbow dash. "Thanks." Twilight said. "No biggy." Rainbow said in response to Twilight. "But what the hay has gotten into you Twilight?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Hmm? Oh nothing, lets just get back to Canterlot. This was quite an eventful day." Twilight said which got worried glances from the other five Elements. "What?" Twilight asked in confusion. "Umm, Twilight, I think you need some sleep, you almost ran into another tree." Fluttershy said. "Oh, right, sorry about that." Twilight said with an awkward smile as she noticed another tree right in front of her. And then all the ponies gathered around her and they teleported away to the city of Canterlot. ~Jesse~ I waved the six goodbye and closed the door behind them. I sat down on the couch and rested my head for a bit before I got up and headed into the kitchen and began to cook dinner. "Wow, time really does fly by don't it?" I asked myself giving me a chuckle. "That was a hell of a day." I said with a smile as I turned on the stove as I began to cook my last meal for the day. > Chapter 12: In Time > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was the middle of winter and I was in my home sipping on some hot chocolate. It was snowing outside and joy was in the air. I had no idea what Holidays they had on this planet but it felt like it was nearing Christmas to me. I had finished my hot chocolate when, all of the sudden I heard a knock on the door. I gazed at it curiously. It had been so long since anyo- pony had come to see me and to be frank, the knock scarred me. But without anymore hesitation I got up from my couch and walked over to the door and opened it up from a distance. My eyes widened slightly as I gazed at the two rulers of Equestria. "What the hell are you doing here?" I asked in confusion as I let them enter the building. They walked in and entered the living room. They never did answer my question but > Update: It's been awhile > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, its been awhile since updating this story.
