I Hate You ≠ I Love You

Whoever said that "Love is Young" was right all along. There is no gender, no social status, no dimensions, no time..., infact, there are no boundaries for love. And this fanfiction is going to be a living proof of it.

We all know about the hatred between Applebloom and Diamond Tiara. These two shall never be friends no matter the circumstances. This is a truth that most ponies in Ponyville at least knows about it.
But what about proving them wrong by sending the most unexpected lovers in their lives? I'm talking of course about their Canterlot High counterparts.
Rated Teen, rating suspected to change if Moderators ask me to do so!

Equestria Girls World - School - Present Time - Applebloom's POV

It was a nice morning like it always is at Canterlot High School. I felt nothing could ruin this day until I was proven wrong: We had Math class under the tutelage of Miss Cheerilee. Math was both stupid and boring but like any other person in this school, it was a must in order to persevere in our studies so I tried my best to stay awake, with no avail. I slept like a log during most of the session until a call upon a certain girl woke me up.

"Diamond Tiara," announced Miss Cheerilee "Please come to the table and solve this problem for your class."

"Yes, Miss Cheerilee." Diamond Tiara then came out to the table and began solving the problem. I had a piercing look on my face. No one could tell if it's a look of anger or concentration because the girl who came out is the meanest bullies in the entire classroom along with her sidekick Silver Spoon. With those wavy white and pinkish pigtails, that brooch shaped like a crown, that golden yellow jacket, that black shirt and that grey skirt, how could someone possibly like her, specially with her inflating ego and oh-so eloquent mannerisms? Staring intensely, my trance was awoken by a chalk coming directly into my forehead.

"Applebloom?" said Miss Cheerilee " I called you so many times to come to the board and solve the next problem but you didn't answer. I hope that woke you up! Come on now and don't be shy." I rubbed my forehead as I passed Diamond Tiara who was passing by to return to her seat.

"Let's see you beat that!" The latter whispered. I gritted my teeth from anger then I saw the Math problem which I solved with relative ease as I returned back to my seat with a cocky victory smirk as I saw Diamond Tiara boiling with anger.

Class was over. It was lunch break so I did the usual stuff and went down to my locker to put my books back when suddenly, a lurking figure appeared from behind: It was of course Diamond Tiara wanting revenge against the humiliation she received during Math class. She walked rather gracefully towards me as she did one of her trademark gestures: The reverse posh girl palm.

"Applebloom, I noticed you were staring at me during math class..." I gasped and I half-closed my locker "Perhaps you got a problem with me?!" I turned to confront her, skimming her from head to toe. Then I retorted with the obvious answer.

"Couldn't focus," she nodded at the half-baked response but I decided to spice it up a notch "'cause of your massive butt that matches yer ego!" And that, ladies and gentlemen, was the kicker as Diamond Tiara clenched her fish with a furious look. She slammed my locker shut, cornering me. I was still smiling like a mad girl at my own antics, looking sideways here and there. Diamond decided to finish this conversation off.

"Oh yeah? I think I need to remind you who's boss in this school..." She kept looking at me. I simply said.

"Bring it!" as I did my 'bring it' gesture. I smiled wider as Diamond Tiara's frown look turned upside down, her blue eyes staring into mine as she went in: Not for the punch, but for a kiss full-blown into my mouth as I kissed her back. The moment was so intense I forgot myself for a moment but yeah that was the gist of it: Diamond Tiara and I are in love; not some childish, goo-goo gaa-gaa love. The real deal. But our love has been a secret that nobody ever knows about. That's why I was staring at her during Math class, that's why I was looking here and there so that nobody discovers what we're doing. She broke the kiss as we both hugged each other.

"I am so sorry I told you all those mean things. I feel so bad about my self, Bloomie." said Diam- no, Dee, apologetically.

"Ah know, Dee." I answered back as I held her, staring lovingly at her "Ah forgive ya. Y'all/Ya didn't forget forget 'bout our special night tonight, right?"

"How could I ever forget it? Today it'll be two years since THAT happened... We need to celebrate it tonight and we promised that we're going rather 'big' this time."

"Ooooo, kinky..." was all I answered. But all of you must wonder what happened two years ago between a simple farm girl like myself and the rich, mean but so beautiful girlfriend of mine, right?! Well, I'll let Dee speak about that if you don't mind because I have 'other plans' if you know what I mean. As I stole another quick kiss from Dee and ran straight to the school cafeteria, she put her hands in her cheeks, staring at my dashing figure.

Equestria Girls World - Two years ago - Diamond Tiara's POV

Ahhhh, how the days pass quickly! I cannot believe that we have been going about this for two years, two whole years. I pondered around my posh lunch, staring at the azure sky as I recalled the event of that field trip just like yesterday.

"That's just not fair!" A younger Applebloom screamed, "Ah just bought this new T-shirt from the mall. Now it's ruined all because ya tripped me, Diamond Tiara!"

"Oh, please..." A younger me retorted back, "You just, like, don't watch were you're going, right?" I laughed at her but truth to be told, I tripped her for real into a muddy pool just because I was a stuck-up jerk towards her back then.

"Yeah, you gotta watch where you're going, Appleblooper." my obnoxious sidekick, Silver Spoon said as we laughed. Applebloom's two friends, Scootawhatchamicallit and Sweetie Whatshername, came to her rescue.

"How about a taste of your own medicine then?" Scootaloo angrily said as she brandished her fist, ready to slam it into my face but it was interrupted by Miss Cheerilee's announcement.

"Alright class! Calm down and form a line. Today's field trip is about Foal's Mountain for Mr. Doodle's Geography's assignment so please form groups of two or three, get on the bus and stick together so that we do not get lost. Is that clear for everybody?!"

"Yes! Miss Cheerilee!" The class answered in unison as we all hopped on the bus going to Foal's Mountain.

Foal's Mountain

The mountain was quite a sight to be honest. Of course, nobody could reach the peak of such a landmark, especially people as young as us so we explored the surroundings and drew whatever we were tasked for our assignment. But what truly was in my mind was the mischief I could cause for that Applebloom on that day. Silver Spoon and I were watching Applebloom's group from the shadows as they were observing the forest surrounding Foal's Mountain. As we sneaked upon them, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo left Applebloom alone to check on some insects while Applebloom was tying her shoelaces. At that moment, we grabbed her, gagging her mouth with our hands and carrying her to a random location in the forest. We tied her up to a tree far away from any group we know.

"You can yell as much as you want here. Nobody will hear or come to your rescue. Let's go Silver!" I said as I laughed maniacally as we left her location.

"That was golden, Diamond!" said Silver Spoon "The others will never know what hit her. That's like totally evil."

"I know right?!" I rhetorically asked as I went along this maze of a forest. Suddenly, we found out that we were back at the start where we tied up Applebloom. Our mouths went agape as Applebloom looked at us with a dumbfound expression on her face.

"Uhhhhh... Are you sure you know the way, Silver?!" I asked.

"Hey! Don't ask me! I thought you were the one with the map!" retorted Silver, "Let's go back! Maybe we will find our way towards the bus." As we went back from the same direction, only to appear in front of Applebloom again and again. For almost the whole afternoon, we tried to get our way back but no avail. It was almost evening and we were lost in circles back towards Applebloom again.

"T-this is impossible... W-we gotta do something... This must be a nightmare!" I said in panic, tears on my face.

"No! This can't be happening! I WANT MY MOMMY!!!" Silver cried, hugging poor sweet good old me as we fell on our knees.

"I mean at least we're together now... right?!" I tried to calm Silver "What's the worst that could happen?!" If only I didn't say that because as soon as I did, it started raining torrents. Sighing at fate's irony, I was like a mad girl, laughing and screaming at the sky.

"Is this what we call divine retribution?! Is that what we deserve?! Oh Lord! whatever we did was a simple prank..."

"Hello?!" a voice called, "Maybe y'all forgotten about me!" We turned to see Applebloom, all wet and still tied to that tree. "If we don't remain calm, it could get even worse for us." We exchanged a look then I approached Applebloom and untied her from the tree.

"You lead the way and no funny stuff!" I ordered.

"I wasn't plannin' anythin' anyways. Don't be all high and mighty! Y'all can see where that brought ya." she said as she took the lead through the forest. We kept walking under the rain and the sun started to set. I started hearing noises coming from outside the forest so I assumed that was the exit. I rushed to freedom.

"Wait... DIAMOND NO!" I heard Applebloom screaming. Ignoring it, I kept moving forward. Too late! It was a cliff and I felt gravity pulling me towards the river. I fell and sank like a rock. Unable to swim, I awaited Death to claim my soul as I took one last glance: I saw a majestic figure extending a hand towards me. The figure was a tad taller than I am and had angelic red wings on its head. I had no choice but use the last of my strength and extend my own hand towards it as the river carried me while I was unconscious.

Cave in the Mountain - Normal POV

Being swept away by the river, Diamond Tiara was groaning in pain as she slowly opened her eyes. She looked around, vision still hazy, as she noticed only the darkness of the night and the sound of the river.

"So this is it Diamond" she thought as she mentally laughed"So young, yet so dead. Maybe I'll atone for my sins in the afterlife"

As soon as she finished her thoughts, her vision was completely restored. She noticed that most of her clothes were missing. She could have screamed but she was still on her train of delusions. She soon noticed the bright red flame from behind her with her nearby clothes being dried up. On the opposite side of the flame was her savior: The angelic figure with red wings. She soon realized who it was with her red bow tie and crimson flowing hair: It was Applebloom looking at her.

"Ah see you're awake at last." the latter said. The realization was too hard to stomach for Diamond Tiara. The person she hated and tortured the most ended up risking her life saving hers. Conflicted feelings came into her spirit; anger, regret, forgiveness, antipathy, sadness, happiness, love? She asked herself why she felt so? Is it because she saved her once? Only one way to find out.

"Why?" asked Diamond Tiara "Why didn't you leave me to die? Why didn't you take this chance so that you take revenge on me for everything I've done to you? Why didn't you let me at Death's doors? You changed both our fates by your bold yet stupid maneuver." Applebloom stood silent in front of the barrage of questions. She hung her head down, tears begun falling down her cheeks which shocked Diamond. Then she approached her and slapped her across the face. Diamond held her cheek in pain.

"Ah hope that awoke you!" exclaimed Applebloom "Ah saved ya because everyone deserves a second chance, no matter who they are and what they are. Why are ya thinking of being dead? Is it because ah saved ya? Anyone would have done the same thing if they were at my place-"

"That is not the answer I wanted." interrupted Diamond, standing up and holding Applebloom by her collar "I left you to die as food for animals. I bullied you and your friends. I never missed an opportunity to humiliate you publicly. Yet, you did this heroic thing out of nowhere. I was so envious of you."

"Envious?!" inquired Applebloom "You did all that out of envy?!"

"Precisely!" admitted Diamond "Yes, I did all that because I just cannot stand how you and your two friends stay so happy after everything I did. You are a poor farm girl in a poor environment yet you stay positive no matter what you're doing." She walked away from her, grabbing her head "I couldn't get you and especially you out of my head. Why can't I get you out of my head, Applebloom? Why did I see you as an angel as you came rescuing me? Please, please spare me losing my sanity trying to figure out this unimaginable puzzle!" She finished her sentence as she cried: It wasn't her usual crocodile tears this time. She was down on her knees, letting out the most bitter cry Applebloom ever witnessed. She knew for sure that everything in Diamond's existence wasn't only bullying. She also had problems she's facing but she didn't include herself as one of her problems so she did the obvious thing and held Diamond Tiara around her arms.

"To be honest with you, Diamond, ah don't know." she answered "But let me tell you something; Ah was envious of you too." Diamond's eyes widened at that statement as she looked directly into her rival's clear but honest eyes. "Ah mean who doesn't want to be rich? Nobody. I always asked mahself how you rich people live your lives, that y'all are not really as stuck-up as you are showing me back in school. Ah know ah shouldn't complain about where ah was born and mah family bein' hard on me and stuff but that is life and we must enjoy it fully. Throwing your life away isn't the answer, Diamond, even though you didn't do it on purpose. The point is there is a big hole in your chest. To be precise..." she pointed at her chest "here; your beating heart. Diamond, you and ah have all the care in the world from our perspectives but what if that care wasn't enough? What if you needed more than that?"

All this talk made Diamond's heart race faster and faster as she looked at Applebloom. When was she so knowledgeable about this kind of grown-up talk. She didn't sound like a 14-year-old girl at all, she sounded way over that. The speech she gave made her think outloud.

"... love ..." Applebloom could barely hear that over her own talkativeness. She saw Diamond's face getting closer and closer as she went in for a kiss in her mouth. Applebloom was shocked beyond belief, eyes wide, trying to grasp the meaning of this kiss. She looked at Diamond's face during the kiss: So calm, so innocent, yet so unusual and so beautiful. Diamond broke the kiss as she blushed a little.

"I-I'm sorry I did that! I didn't know what was wrong! My body just reacted on its own!" she spoke nervously.

"What y'all did, Diamond, was out of love." Applebloom reassured her "You couldn't find this in anyone but me. And weirdly enough, I accepted your love, Diamond." A smile appeared on Diamond's face as she wiped her tears off. She couldn't believe it. She really gave her first kiss to her rival whom she hated so much in the past. Her mind didn't accept it but her heart proved to be stronger. She fell into one knee as she took Applebloom's hand and stroke it on her cheek. Applebloom just kneeled down as she put her head on hers as they both fell asleep in the cave under the night's veil.

CHS Applebloom's POV - Diary
And that is how our love story begun. The police eventually found us thanks to the whole class reporting in but no one noticed anything new about us. It was our own secret. Dee and I learned so much from and about each other for the past two years and I can say I never regretted one moment of it. Tonight was the day that marked the two years of our love story. What could possibly go wrong?

Equestria Girls Universe - School Grounds - Nighttime

The stars illuminated the sky as they complimented the full moon's shine. For some people this was a regular night like the others, but for Applebloom and Diamond Tiara, this was a fateful night. Speaking of which, we can see Applebloom setting up the picnic blanket and basket full of fruits, especially apples, on the green grassy field. She also set up a vase of flowers in the middle. As she finished preparing, she sat down, waiting for her girlfriend to arrive.

"Sorry I am late, Bloomie." announced Diamond from behind, carrying a basket of her own. Giving a quick kiss to her love, she sat down and unpacked the dinner pot she brought in.

"Spaghetti Carbonara with meatballs and cheese made by yours truly." Despite her being the ultimate bully, Applebloom knew for a fact that she was an excellent cook. In fact, she knew for a fact that Diamond loved anything related to home economics. She tasted her dishes in secret before and she was bedazzled by her skills. She said to her that their family chef taught her a bit. Anyways, Applebloom's mouth was watering at the sight of the food but she was watering even more at the sight of Diamond herself: She had her hair down instead of pigtails and her brooch was on a trendy purple jacket as well as her usual grey skirt.

"I-it's rude to stare too much, you know?" said Diamond, blushing with her hands on her cheeks.

"O-oh, sorry Dee. But... wow, just, wow... Ah have no words at all. Y'all really went all out for this one." admitted Applebloom, eyes still fixated on the beauty in front of her: She could't believe that she is the same person of two years ago.

"Ah almost forgot!" she searched her basket for candles.

"Oh yeah! That!" Diamond did the same as she pulled out a luxurious silver candelabra as they set it up and light it. (I recommend putting some violin romantic music). The mood was set up and everything was ready. All that was missing was a sacred oath that they vowed to make on this day so they sat on a praying position.

"I, Applebloom/Diamond Tiara," they said in unison "regret ever causing you harm. In the name of God and our love, we swear that we will never be separate no matter the circumstances will be for she has let me see another side never to be seen by anyone except your Omniscience and has opened my heart to see it bloom towards a brighter future. And we thank you today for your kind blessings of life, happiness, food and especially true love. Amen!" As they finished, they opened their eyes. Smiling towards each other, they gracefully grabbed their forks and started eating in a breathtaking silence. They sometimes fed each other, sharing the meatballs and wiping sauce out of their faces. The plate lasted till its last noodles. Unaware of the fact, they started eating the last strand until their faces almost met. They decided to go in for the big finale when suddenly...

"I told you, Sweetie Belle! There was a ghost haunting the school after all." the voice of Scootaloo ringed from afar. That made the couple cut the last noodle as they turned their heads towards the source of the noise.

"Aw c'mon! Why today of all days?" whispered Applebloom "Oh man! What should we do?" As they started panicking while packing up the stuff, blowing out the candles and clattering the stuff into the baskets.

"It's coming from there! Hurry!" Sweetie Belle excitedly said as her and Scootaloo ran towards the source of the noise.

"We have no time to pick up the stuff. We need to go, now!" whispered Diamond as she held Applebloom's hand and left everything as it was. They couldn't run away for long as they were stuffed from eating that delicious food so they were exhausted rather quickly.

"*pant* We will never lose them. Ah know them. They're good at finding stuff and they will not have trouble finding us sooner or later." said Applebloom, sweating bullets.

"*pant* What do you suggest then?" asked Diamond as Applebloom scouted her surroundings. And then, a miracle happened as the statue started glowing abnormally. The lovers couldn't believe what they just saw until Applebloom started speaking.

"Ah know what that is! I didn't believe it from mah own sister but that's where the princess of the ball formal as well as the lead singer of the Rainbooms, Twilight Sparkle, came from."

"I have to agree with your sister on this one, Applebloom." said Diamond with a mischievous grin on her face. "Let's do it!"

"What? Are ya out of your noggins Diamond? We don't know what's behind there." yelled Applebloom.

"Let's just consider it a vacation into the unknown then, right?" said Diamond with a shrug.

"Touché, Diamond. Touché indeed. Let's do it y'all." Applebloom said as they charged towards the portal, which closed as soon as they went in. Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle couldn't see anything, as if it was really a ghost that made that picnic back then but all of us know that was not the case.

Ponyville - Night Time - Friendship Castle

From the other side of the portal, two figures appeared falling straight into their faces: A yellow coated filly with a red bow tie and crimson mane and a pinkish filly with a wavy white and purple mane and a tiara on her head. Rubbing their heads in pain, they looked at each other in horror as Diamond was about to yell when Applebloom put a hoof into her mouth.

"Shhhhhhh... mind your surroundings." whispered Applebloom, gathering Diamond's attention to the huge room with the portal. The room itself was full of books scattered everywhere. Diamond simply nodded as she noticed Applebloom trotting towards the exit. She tried to get up but failed a couple of times before trotting slowly but surely.

"How can you be acclimated to this new body that fast?" asked Diamond.

"Well these bodies are those of small horses so ah just thought that ah am a horse and there ya go." at this sentence, Diamond snickered.

"Are you aware of what you said, dear Bloomie?" Diamond hardly contained her laughter as she stuffed a hoof in her mouth.

"What did ah even say? ah said we're hor- oh!" realizing her own choice of words, she released a laughter that could awake the whole building. Diamond quickly put her hoof on Applebloom's mouth.

"And you say that I should be quiet!" blamed Diamond.

"Sorry..." Applebloom hunched her head which made Diamond blush at how absolutely cute this new Applebloom is so she snuggled her with her new found muzzle.

"It's okay. Let's keep going! We have no idea where we are and something tells me that we are not alone in this humongous place." Applebloom nodded as she followed suit. As she followed her, she noticed something on Diamond's... flank. She pointed with her hoof at it.

"Since when did you get a tattoo, Dee?!" she exclaimed.

"A tattoo? Where?" Diamond looked at her own flank to see a blue tiara branded on it from both sides. "I never had tattoos, Bloomie. Besides they hurt like hell, don't they?" She noticed Applebloom's flank but it was completely yellow and bare. "Yours do not have tattoos. I wonder why?"

"Yeahhhhh, indeed..." Applebloom pondered as they kept trotting through the halls. Finally, they reached a huge door; luckily for them, it was open.

"Whoever is the owner of this house is the most carefree person ever, if the owner is a person."* said Diamond

"Ummmmmm, ah might be not sure that it's a house, Dee." retorted Applebloom as she pointed at the house which was a gigantic crystal tree-like castle. Diamond's mouth went agape.

"What kind of castle doesn't have guards? This makes no sense whatsoever!"** exclaimed Diamond, stomping her hooves on the ground from anger.

"No need to be mad, Dee. We have a whole town ahead of us so we better giddy up." said Applebloom as they galloped under the moonlight. Seeing the moon's reflection shining on the silver object that's attached on the tall building, they decided to go in there and spend the rest of the night sleeping on the tourniquet besides the building but not before kissing each other goodnight.

CHS Applebloom's POV - Diary
It was natural that we did see no one in town; it was night after all. But believe me when I say what Dee and I saw will exceed your wildest imagination.

The Next Day - Ponyville Schoolhouse

The sun of Princess Celestia was illuminating Ponyville as its rays were touching our two transformed school girls who at that time were sleeping on the tourniquet. Diamond's eyes squinted as she was blinded by the sun. She slowly opened her eyes and hazily looked around her: She saw a playground with all the essentials; slide, teeter-totter, swingers and of course the tourniquet they were sleeping on. Then her sight turned towards the building in question: The shining object they saw yesterday was the bell on top of it. Apart from that, the building was painted in different shades of red, white's compliment which made it look a bit cheesy in Diamond's taste. Suddenly something made her snap out of her trance as the bell suddenly chimed loudly, waking Applebloom in the process who was drooling.

"Wha'? Huh?" she dumbfoundedly asked as Diamond heard beats of hooves. She quickly grabbed her girlfriend and hid behind the nearby bushes, making sure that they stay out of sight.

"What did you do that for?" yelled Applebloom, holding her hoof in pain. Diamond signed her to shush and observed the scenery. Apparently, it was a group of ponies coming towards the building, carrying what looks like saddlebags and talking out loud about school stuff. So they deduced that this was the school. They also noticed that most of the ponies have tattoos on their flanks which was weird by their standards since they don't know anything about this world. Then another group of ponies appeared on sight; three ponies to be exact and what they saw shocked them beyond belief, especially Applebloom.

"Ah'm telling ya, y'all, this plan to get our cutie marks will succeed." the yellow filly with southern accent said.

"I-is that me?" CHS Applebloom thought "She sure looks like me in this body, she sure sounds like me but..."

"Yeah! Another day of crusading after school." the white, horned filly said with a recognizable high-pitched voice.

"Sweetie Belle? There is a Sweetie Belle too?" the counterpart didn't want to believe but her suspicions came to life when the orange, winged filly spoke.

"Like Rainbow Dash would always say, this is gonna be awesome." CHS Applebloom turned to Diamond and said.

"T-this must be a nightmare! Ah'm seeing doubles, Dee, Ah'm seeing doubles..." she continued stammering and holding her head like it's the end of the world but was slapped across by her friend. Applebloom was quite in conflict within herself and was quite shocked from Diamond's reaction.

"Ya never slapped me before." she simply said.

"There is a first for everything and this situation called for it. We need to accept that we are in an alternate world where we are ponies so please let us go back to our main focus and keep watching. I am certainly sure that there is going to be-" her thoughts were interrupted by a call that she knows by heart.

"Well look who's here..." and her suspicions were right; in there stood a filly that looks just like her: Tiara, pink and white mane, a posh accent that even mirrors could break from hearing if they had ears*

"O Lord why have you forsaken us?" she rhetorically prayed as she closed her eyes but she opened them to keep watching the scene.

"If it isn't the Blankie Failure Flunkies themselves." Diamond Tiara called out "Still on your futile quests to search for the impossible, I see."

"Cut it out, Diamond Tiara, it's still morning and we will not handle your... bullying for now!" Scootaloo declared "Besides, we know that being blank flanks means that we still have more potential than anypony else around here."

"So that's the reason why Applebloom isn't branded. Also, anypony... I'll take note" CHS Diamond mentally noted.

"I am sure and certain that your talent is as blank as your flanks, nothingness, that's your talent." Silver Spoon spoke from behind.

"T-that's not true! We will have our cutie marks and I am sure they'll be better than most of the ponies here, especially you, Diamond Tiara!" shrilled Sweetie Belle. At that sentence, Applebloom had a gleam in her eyes and a sly grin over her face. She approached Diamond Tiara.

"That reminds me, what is yer cutie mark supposed to be, Diamond?" that question sure made Diamond sweat bullets, looking around everypony's faces which were beaming with excitement.

"Nice bombardment, other me" thought CHS Applebloom as she pumped her... hoof. Diamond finally uttered out of nowhere.

"I-i-i-it means that I'm better than whatever any other ponies does!" at that sentence she earned looks of suspicions from everypony, especially her rival and a look of utter disbelief from the hiding counterparts.

"I call bull!" they both said to themselves as they kept watching the conversation.

"Oh is that so? Well y'all heard it, right?" Applebloom attracted the crowd of fillies and colts "Diamond said she's better than anypony in everything they do. Well, prove it! Diamond, I challenge you to a hoof wrestling match. The loser will do anything the winner asks them to, and by anything I mean anything." Diamond faced the leers of her classmates but her pride was at stake as the fillies and colts were demanding a hoof wrestling match as some of them already prepared the table and Applebloom was clacking her hooves as she sat down waiting for a response. Diamond decided to swallow the bloody knife** and take responsibility for her actions. But... she stood up as she was about to sit down.

"I really need to use the little filly's room." Diamond said as she was holding her stomach in pain "It's really urgent!"

"Hey! Do you really expect us to believe that?" Snips called

"Let her take all the time she wants." Applebloom said with confidence "She has nowhere to run. It's almost school time after all."

After a quick 'thank you' she hurried to the little filly's room while Applebloom and the crowd were waiting.

Meanwhile in the bush, CHS Diamond was grinning like a maniac. CHS Applebloom could see the fire coming out of her eyes.

"Ummm, Dee, what'cha thinkin' bout?" she asked with fear.

"Bloomie, I just had the most diabolical plan ever!" announced CHS Diamond "My prankster instincts are tingling so high right now."

"B-but... a prank? Right here?" CHS Applebloom looked at her worryingly.

"Please, Bloomie, please let me do at least one! I promise you it will be golden. I've been itching for a prank or two for the past few months and this is a chance in a million!" Yep, even though she was her lover, she still had her own bad habits. Diamond loved pranks with a burning passion. Who would've thought that behind this cool surface hides an obsessed prankster princess? Well, Bloomie, as she called her, accepted the fact that she should do pranks, despite her efforts of quelling that urge. CHS Applebloom sighed in defeat and nodded, earning a hug and a wink from her girlfriend.

"Thank you, Bloomie! You're the best love a girl ever had. Trust me you will not regret it one bit." as she took a deep breath and went in.

"Sorry I took a while, everypony. It was quite the pickle." CHS Diamond came in, rubbing her hoof on her chest and looking at it. Everypony was astounded as their mouth came wide open at how fast she took in the filly's room.

"B-but you were there... came back from here... and you went..." Silver Spoon stammered like a mad filly.

"What's wrong with you ponies? It looks like you've seen a ghost. Anyways let's get this show on the road." As she sat down and put her hoof in position.

"W-whatever, y'all going down!" challenged Applebloom as she touched the fake Diamond's hoof, which made Diamond close her eyes and reminisce.

"Ahhhh, I remember so many things: The first time I held hand with Applebloom, her flamboyant touch, her destructive fists and most importantly her arm wrestling lessons. I've got this in the bag."*** As she opened her eyes, beaming this other Applebloom with a piercing glare. Scootaloo held both their hooves as the acting referee as she counted down and released, signaling the beginning of the match. Applebloom put all her strength in her little hoof to bring CHS Diamond's hoof down but it appeared that the latter's hoof wouldn't budge as if it was stuck like glue. The crowd cheered mostly on Applebloom, knowing that her physical strength is without equal among fillies.

"So, Applebloom, wanna call it a draw?" the counterpart asked.

"Draws... are for... babies..." Applebloom said as she still tried to bring CHS Diamond's hoof down.

"Are you certain?" the counterpart asked again.

"Never...been... so certain...mah whole life..." she stated.

"Alright, if you insist!" CHS Diamond said with determination on her tone as she brought the hammer down by bringing Applebloom's hoof across the other side of the table, slamming it hardly. Everypony was shockingly staring in awe as Applebloom jaw fell on the ground and her hoof was down for the count.**** Wincing in pain, she held her hoof and rubbed it.

"Y-ya slammed me... Ah can't believe it!" she said, clearly defeated "Ah... lost."

"Never underestimate your opponent, no matter who they are." CHS Diamond said with an air of superiority "This would be your lesson for today, Applebloom." Applebloom noticed something on Diamond that she couldn't put her hoof around but she soon forgot about it.

"Well, ya won. What shall ah do fer ya?" Applebloom asked. CHS Diamond put her hoof, thinking.

"Let's see..." CHS Diamond's stomach answered the question "Could you please refresh my memory and tell me where you usually eat breakfast? I kinda forgot to eat my breakfast AND my wallet too due to excitement and I haven't eaten a thing since this morning." Applebloom stared in disbelief, not only she beat her while she was hungry but she forgot about Sugarcube Corner? Something sure was fishy but nevertheless, a deal was a deal as she sighed in defeat as she handled her ten gold coins.

"Here y'are! Ten bits! Mah lunch money." she said "As for Sugarcube Corner, just look for the building with the candy canes and cupcake for a roof, ya won't miss it." CHS Diamond looked at the money and then at the hunched-in-defeat Applebloom and then tapped on her, she turned around as she gave her back five of the coins.

"I don't deserve them all. After all, you'll starve too right?" Applebloom stared at CHS Diamond in disbelief. As she was trying to ask her question, she noticed that she was gone the way she came. Suddenly, Diamond came out of nowhere, grumbling.

"I swear that toilet took too long to unclog and-" Everypony, except the CMC who consoled Applebloom and Silver who witnessed the whole thing, rushed towards her carrying her.

"Hey! Put me down! I said put me down!!!!" she exclaimed as everypony yelled 'hip hip hurray' and carried her like a hero towards the class. In the meantime, Silver Spoon was acting like a madfilly: She was playing with her lower lip, her eyes derped around as she stuck out her tongue before passing away in front of Miss Cheerielee who finally has arrived to the scene, wondering what happened.

On the way to Sugarcube Corner

"That was unbelievable!" CHS Applebloom said "You dealt with the situation like an adult, although getting the money was a little extreme."

"I know, right?" CHS Diamond explained as she inspected the coins "But we needed something to eat, plus I was feeling hungry. Man, these coins are pure gold! If we were back in our world, we would be filthy rich."

"You do realize that's not only your situation back there but also the name of your father right?" Applebloom rhetorically asked as they both laughed together.

CHS Applebloom's POV - Diary

I am still thinking of what I saw back there. Diamond and I, or should I say my doppelganger, arm, or should I say, hoof wrestling like we do all the time. We didn't even overstay our welcome and questions were already coming to my mind. Why is there two of us in that world and what would happen if we each other know of our existence? I was thinking about that the whole time I was watching the match. But our adventures didn't end there. In fact, they were just starting.

Ponyville - Streets

The two counterparts were trotting around the streets of Ponyville, sightseeing around. They have seen unimaginable things: Apart from the regular ponies, there were pegasi and unicorns too. Some of the pegasi were noticed moving clouds around like it was nothing while some unicorns were seen horns ablaze while they were levitating small and heavy objects alike. Needless to say, they were flabbergasted at how diverse and strange this world is; even fairy tales do not compare to what our two lovers have seen with their own big eyes. CHS Applebloom felt like they were being watched; in fact, some of the ponies' eyes averted to the couple, staring at them awkwardly. Noticing that, she tapped on her girlfriend.

"We need to hide. Ah think it's not safe to stay in here." she whispered as they trotted in a nearby alley.

"What do you mean by that, Bloomie?" asked CHS Diamond.

"Ah mean that we both maybe are known by the town of ponies and judging by the glances of the townsfolk and the adversity between our doppelgangers, it must've been weird for them to see us together. We need to do something about that." As they tapped their hooves under their chins, the pinkish filly noticed some rags being thrown away. She inspected them.

"Look, Bloomie. This maybe our ticket of going undetected, even if the look is rather shabby." she said as the couple put their camouflage on and continued trotting towards their destination.

Meanwhile, at School

Class was in session. Everypony, with the exception of Silver Spoon who fainted for some unknown reason by the other ponies, were present and all got the attention of Miss Cheerilee, all except for Applebloom, who was still thinking about the aftermath of the hoof wrestling match. She was tapping her hoof on her desk, still thinking about what happened earlier.

Flashback - Applebloom's POV

It was over. Utter disbelief was all written on my face as I rubbed my hoof which got slammed by the most unlikely pony imaginable; Diamond Tiara.

"Y-ya slammed me... Ah can't believe it!" I said, clearly defeated "Ah... lost." I hated to admit it. I almost cried but decided to hold back my tears. I heard Diamond saying.

"Never underestimate your opponent, no matter who they are. This would be your lesson for today, Applebloom." I guess I learned the lesson now. I approached the winner, head down.

"Well, ya won. What shall ah do fer ya?" I asked, fearing the worst that could happen. She could make me her slave or make me disband the CMC which we built for a while now. Her eccentricity is mind-boggling now that I know what she's capable off.

"Could you please refresh my memory and tell me where you usually eat breakfast? I kinda forgot to eat my breakfast AND my wallet too due to excitement and I haven't eaten a thing since this morning." She simply asked. I was not expecting that, really. She doesn't know Sugarcube Corner of all places and she, THE Diamond Tiara, is asking me, the farmer pony, for money. Nevertheless, I complied by giving her all my lunch money.

"Here y'are! Ten bits! Mah lunch money." I said "As for Sugarcube Corner, just look for the building with the candy canes and cupcake for a roof, ya won't miss it." Diamond looked at the money like it was something she never saw before. It was weird since she always has the means to buy anything she wants. I noticed her looking at me. She lifted my chin up so that I look straight into her face, then she grabbed my hoof and gave me half of my money back and here is the clincher: She did that while smiling the cutest smile I've ever seen on her face before. Then she disappeared and magically reappeared out of nowhere.

Flashback End

"Wait a second," she thought "Why did I think Diamond's smile of ALL PONIES was cute? I... MUST... NOT... THINK... ABOUT... THAT... She was slamming her head on her desk so loudly that everypony's attention turned into her.

"Are you okay, Applebloom?" asked Miss Cheerilee "What is wrong with you, doing that?" Applebloom was holding her head from pain as she received a collective laughter from everypony.

"N-no, nothing Miss Cheerilee. Keep going please." She said, embarrassed, as class resumed.

Sugarcube Corner

With Pinkie Pie being absent for a royal mission, the Cakes were early this morning as they were cleaning shelves and preparing for their customers' arrival. Mrs. Cake, being on reception, was enthusiastically waiting for customers to barge in and taste their delicacies. Suddenly, the shop's door opened and two hooded figures of small ponies appeared. They were discussing and murmuring about something as they approached the counter. One of the ponies spoke.

"Um... I would like anything you have with this sum of money, please." Mrs Cake looked at the bits, then looked at the ponies. She noticed the ragged clothes they were wearing.

"I am sorry but I cannot accept your money" she replied, making the ponies hunch down "However, you two must be tired from a long journey so why don't you relax and take a seat while I bring you something to eat? On the house!" The ponies' ears perked from under their hoods as the pony who just spoke had tears running down her cheeks.

"W-was it something I said?" asked Mrs Cake.

"Naw, nothin'!" answered the other pony, "Just very happy from your generosity, that's all. We'll accept gladly! Thanks, Mrs Cake." and then she hugged the other pony and dragged her to the nearest table.

"I could've sworn I never told any of those two my name" thought Mrs Cake but quickly dismissed the thought as she prepared breakfast for the poor ponies.

Meanwhile at the table, CHS Diamond was still crying while CHS Applebloom was consoling her.

"Is it that vision again, Dee?" asked the yellow pony, whispering. Diamond couldn't hold back any longer as she embraced Applebloom in a hug, letting it all out as silently as she could.

"I-it was awful, Bloomie. I can't get it out of my head. I-I always see myself drowning in that river. T-this vision is haunting me since that day. I-I shouldn't have taken the money of my doppelganger at all. I-I feel so bad. Am I bad, Bloomie? Am I? Please tell me!" The poor filly was sobbing under Applebloom's hooves as the latter tried to calm her down.

"Shhh... It's ok now... It's ok. Ya didn't know how the pony vendor will react and your prank on the other me was as harmless as it could get. No, Dee, as long as you are with me, Ah will always see you as my sweetheart forever and ever. That's what the oath was for, remember?" She looked under Diamond's hood to see hear clear azure wet eyes as she wiped them out of her cheeks. "Now, act all natural. We need to stick together until we find some way to get us home, remember?" Swallowing her tears, Diamond smiled and nodded as Mrs Cake arrived with a quite appetizing breakfast.

"Here you go, little ponies! And sorry for whatever I caused earlier." she placed the plates in front of them as the two fillies say their thanks and wait for the vendor to be gone before they resume talking.

"Hey, Bloomie. Remember that prank I just did? I felt some nostalgia from doing it. I remembered how I discovered your little secret back then." Applebloom nodded in acknowledgement as she also remembered her past for a moment.

"Yes, Dee. Ah remember what Ah was doing and what I am still doing until now... Ah won't quit it, however" Bloomie retorted "It all started two months after we discovered what we mean to each other."

Flashback, 2 months after the events of Foal Mountain, Canterlot High

Nobody knew what exactly happened during that trip at Foal Mountain; nobody except Applebloom and Diamond Tiara. Each time they encounter each other at school, they simply hunch their head down to salute each other and to hide the apparent little blush on their faces. They avoided direct contact for two whole months but they couldn't get each other' images out of their heads. Love was indeed a hard feeling to explain. That day, Diamond Tiara was minding her own business when she overheard something.

"Did you hear the news?" one guy asked.

"What news?" the other retorted.

"The Blaze did it again!" a third guy exclaimed.

"Oh! You mean the vigilante who is helping the cops catch criminals and the students with their delinquent problems?"

"The very same. Although nobody saw his or her face because of the crimson red motorbike helmet he or she wears. I heard he or she single-handedly caught three bank robbers yesterday using only bare hands."

Diamond seemed interested in the rumor. Not because she felt secure, but she wanted to give a shot at pranking this so-called Blaze. With a smile on her face, she left the school towards home.

Streets - Diamond Tiara's POV

Still thinking about how to prank the so-called Blaze, I walked down the streets. Strangely enough, they were empty today for some reason. I felt the shiver of loneliness throughout my body as I continued walking home. I saw something grey overcoming my sight and before I even react, the grey thing was a hand grabbing my mouth, preventing me to talk or scream. I got dragged towards the nearby alley and thrown towards the nearest wall. Regaining my sight, I did not see one, but three quite bulky teenagers: Upon recognition, I realized that they were the Diamond Dogs, the thugs of the school. What did they want from me? I soon got my answer.

"He he he, we shall finally get our revenge for that dirty prank you caused, Miss Rich." said their leader "We got to do community service because of you!"

"W-what?" I stammered, body shivering. I couldn't utter anything more as I saw them approaching me.

"Pranks are supposed to be harmless, y'know?" continued the leader "Tell me, Miss Rich, how many people did you ruin because what you've done and how many people shall you continue to ruin?" each question came ringing to me. I felt the world falling on me as my eyes shrunk. I felt a grab on my hand and a paper knife coming towards my throat. I was helpless to do anything: He was right. I am nothing but a prankster that ruins people's lives. I looked at their eyes: They were eyeing her strangely.

"Y'know? You got a nice body after all" he remarked "Such a shame to let it go to waste." He started cutting through my clothes. I screamed as loud as I can, eyes tearing up. I was in my bra and underwear, completely exposed and shameless in front of these bullies, who were licking their lips in anticipation of raping my pure, virgin body. I closed my teary eyes, accepting the fact that my future shall be shattered forever, all because of silly, harmless pranks. All I thought of that moment was the reason why I was born a prankster in the first place. Money? My father has an emporium of firms. Dominance? What dominance? I am the one being dominated here. Is this how it feels being dominated, being played on dirty? Tears weren't giving me the answer I needed as I got ready for the inevitable. Suddenly, I heard a loud impact as one of the boys, the bigger one, screamed in agony. I opened my eyes too see what was happening: It was a figure dressed in black and yellow ensemble and wearing a helmet on its head, who kicked the bully to the nearest wall, rendering him unconscious.

"What the-" the other boy reacted by blindly slashing his way, only for his arm to be grabbed as he was flipped on his back by the figure as he got finished by a punch in the stomach. The leader went with an overhead thrust. The figure ducked it as it grabbed him from behind and suplexed him. The leader spilled every mouth fluid he had as he lost all consciousness he had. My vision was clear after the fight as I looked at the triumphant figure who botched up its cell phone, notifying the police: The figure was the Blaze, the target of my next prank. It approached me. I couldn't figure its expression because of its helmet but one thing for sure is that the fear I felt from the Diamond Dogs was nothing compared to the fear I was feeling right now. As it approached me, my naked self was backing up, still on the ground.

"Diamond Tiara? Oh, what have they done to ya?" the figure suddenly spoke. For some reason, I recognized that voice instantly. The confirmation came as a shock as the figure removed its helmet: That crimson, blazing hair, those scorching orange eyes, there was no mistaking it. It was Applebloom. My eyes widened at the sudden realization. My body was shivering like a freezer. I felt all sort of power taken from my fragile body as I looked intensely at the one who saved my life twice without even batting an eye.

Diamond Tiara's Vision

Everything was red. Diamond was drowning in a dark red sea as she saw three skeletons floating around her.

"You do not deserve to live..." they said in unison. Diamond was losing her breath slowly as the skeletons exploded. A figure appeared: It was Applebloom with a grim expression on her face. Grinning like a madman, with a bloody black axe at hand, she lunged at Diamond, cutting her left arm. A silent scream left the little girl's body as Applebloom spoke those unforgettable lines.

"You are not worthy..." as she rammed the axe on her skull.

Back to Reality, Diamond Tiara's POV

I held my head as I screamed as loud as I can, eyes open and veins red, almost popping out of their sockets. I touched my face all over the place. I was tearing my hair from the sheer horror of what I saw.

"I'M SORRY..." I repeated those words, fidgeting all over the alley. Applebloom couldn't believe what she was seeing: The cool headed girl who was me, was wailing around like a banshee about to be taken to the depths of Hell. I was apologizing. That was the only thing I could do. Applebloom rushed towards me as she took off her jacket and put it on my body. She held me, putting my head towards her chest and patting it.

"It's okay, it's okay... Ah'm here now." she whispered to the weakened state that is me. I felt something levitating me. I was carried towards her motorcycle. As soon as we were on, I clutched onto Applebloom, still shivering from all the emotional conflict that happened to me.

"Please, please..." I sobbed "Never leave my side!" As Applebloom started the engine, we were like the wind on the streets.

"Ah promised I'll never leave ya, remember?" retorted Applebloom, reminding me of the mountain's incident. I felt... relieved and defeated for the first time of my life. The weakness I felt today was excruciatingly painful. I looked at Applebloom one last time and took my decision to never be weak again. I've never abandoned pranking people until now and I'll never abandon it but I know one thing for sure: There is a watchful person over me, a person who can recognize me as I am, a person whom I strangely enough fell in love with, a person whom I shared my first kiss with, a person who can raise me up whenever I fall down. It was at that moment that I admitted.

"I'll never... love anyone besides you, Applebloom." I declared as I faded to unconsciousness. Alas, the visions could never stop.

"You are not worthy..."

Flashback End

"Ah wonder what those words mean, Dee" CHS Applebloom said "but nevermind that now." The couple finished eating. As they left, they thanked the owners and were on their way.

"By the way, Dee, it's time for your punishment." CHS Diamond turned, eyes widening under her cloak.

"D-does it have to be now?" she shrieked.

"What is a better time than now, mah love?" CHS Applebloom laughed as she held Dee's hoof and trotted away to a distant location.

School, Recess time

Applebloom was alone for once, distant from her group, still thinking about the events of this morning. She looked at her hoof, only to see Diamond's smile. She slammed her hoof repeatedly on the ground as she saw Diamond Tiara approaching her.

"Hey, blank flank." she provoked, grinning mischievously "You're trying to get your Cutie Mark at ground slamming or what?" As she passed by, her laugh and face echoed Applebloom's mind.

"T'was not the same" she thought. Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo kept spying on her, worried about their fellow Crusader. They decided not to approach her for the time being.

"Something is wrong. I've never seen Applebloom so deep in thought AND demoralized to that point." whispered Sweetie.

"I agree. But she has to deal with it. She lost to Diamond Tiara once. Not everypony can win at everything, even Rainbow Dash knows that. Speaking of Rainbow Dash, I wonder where she is..."

"Oh, Rarity said something about some 'map' appearing at Princess Twilight's castle, so she went early yesterday with the others and didn't come back. I hope they come back safely." answered Sweetie Belle

3 Hours Later - The CMC Clubhouse

Our couple found the location to be quite interesting and distant. They removed their cloaks and started exercising for some reason that is about to be explained right now.

"Show me the results of your training, darlin'" yelled CHS Applebloom "It's time for sparring."

CHS Applebloom's POV - Diary

Yes! Finally sparring! In a new body nevertheless! I was excited but I couldn't say the same for Dee. It was the perfect moment to lighten up the mood and do something quite unorthodox for once. Also, I have to see what my love acquired during all this time. True, we spar from time to time but this time I decided to spice things up, especially with this new body.
