> I Wanna Marry Bread > by Spider8ite > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Best ship is best ship > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Raindrops could have sworn that she saw the tears of joy coming from Bread. After so long, she had finally worked up the courage to ask her true love to be her eternal love. She was finally going to marry Bread after so much time! They would become a family and have little Breads! Neither of them could be more thrilled. Raindrops led her great love to the bedroom. Then they had a night full of dirty love. Bread never had a such a good night in her entire bread life. Raindrops woke up the next day with a giant smile on her face. She jumped out of bed, after kissing Bread. Bouncing happily, she went downstairs and picked up her hat. She would organize the wedding to be as soon as possible. And that meant tomorrow. “So you want to get married to… some bread?” the shop assistant asked with a confused face. Raindrops nodded agreement and smiled. The assistant stood watching her for a moment. “Okay, uh… so what’s her size? What kind of dress do you two want? Maybe you can use a suit?” Raindrops turned to fetch something out of her backpack and turned back to the assistant to present him with a piece of paper that she had sketched out some dress designs on. “I want something like this!” “Umm… that doesn’t look like a pony dress an-” The seller sighed. “We don’t have anything like this; it’s too long for a pony body. Sorry, miss, you will need to look elsewhere.” Raindrops lowered her head. “Thank you for your assistance,” she muttered and snatched the paper back from him. She needed to go see Rarity — maybe she could help. She flew out in the direction of Rarity’s boutique. She would be able to make something beautiful and perfect. If anyone could do it, she could do it! Moreover she was invited to the wedding too! Later… “Oh… uh… that’s wonderful, darling, this is going to be… simply divine.” Rarity smiled nervously and looked around after checking the dress. “Of course I’m going. And I’ll be able to whip up that dress for you tout de suite! Tell… err… tell Miss… Bread?” Raindrops nodded. “Tell her I wish you two the best of luck for your big day. I heard she got very emotional when you asked her the big question!” “If you were there you would have seen her in tears of joy!” “Yes, of course. I’m sure I would have cried too… hehe…” They each stared at each other in an awkward silence for a moment. “And you yourself want a suit?” Rarity finally asked after the long silence. She just couldn’t believe that Raindrops would do this. Marry… some bread? “Yep. The best you have!” “Yes, er… of course. And no need to pay; it’s on the house, darling. Consider it to be a wedding present. And, uh… do you need anything else for the ceremony?” “Nope. That’s it!” Raindrops trotted to the door. “Thank you, Rarity!” “No problem, darling. A… bread has got to look amazing on her big day, after all. Heh.” Rarity smiled nervously. Raindrops left. Rarity stood in silence for a moment, staring at the door and thinking about what she’d just promised. Then she sat on the ground making a thud. “Okay. Rarity, that was certainly weird. But a promise is a promise, and we’re going to do this! Celestia knows this is a stupid idea, but it seems important to her.” Meanwhile… After dashing here and there for an entire day, Raindrops had gotten everything she needed to make their wedding perfect! She sighed and went home, happy with everything. She had arranged flowers, the dress, her suit, and the cake; the chapel was scheduled for tomorrow and all the ponies in Ponyville had been invited. She arrived home and walked into the kitchen where her beautiful fiancée was doing dinner. “Hello, my love, do you know what I’ve got ready?” She didn’t answer. “Our wedding! Isn't that awesome?!” Bread turned and leaned against her. “Oh, my love, our wedding day is going to be perfect! I’ve dreamed about it since I was small, everypony will-” She heard a tap on the kitchen window, and looked at it, confused. A bug that looked like cheese appeared. “That’s lame your little piece of garbage. Those lyrics are mine! All mine!” Bread and Raindrops looked at each other and Raindrops shrugged and then closed the window curtain. “Now what was I saying, my love… this is going to be amazing! Because we’ll be together!” Raindrops kissed Bread and she could see the big smile in Bread’s face. “Oh Bread-chan…” They kissed passionately. “You’re my waifu.” Bread blushed. “I love you so much, Bread-chan!” Raindrops exclaimed and Bread blushed even more. “C’mere you dirty little bread.” Raindrops made bedroom eyes. Then they made dirty love on the kitchen floor. As planned, the day was perfect! Raindrops had never been more nervous. Her father-in-law-to-be, Toasted Bread, was there! He walked his daughter down the aisle, old as he was — he was already mouldy in many places. Half of their guests had not turned up to see her big day. She simply couldn’t understand why not; everything was so beautiful and everypony should have been there to see how amazing everything was! Bread, always so majestic, was even more majestic than usual! She looked like she had just come out of the bakery where Raindrops had first met her. She smelled and looked like a whole new bread in the amazing dress Rarity had made for her. Once Miss Bread entered the chapel, instruments started playing. All the guests began to whisper to one another. They were probably saying how incredibly beautiful she was! Raindrops gulped once Bread arrived by her side, and blushed like crazy. The priest looked at them strangely and then proceeded “Do you, Miss Drops, solemnly swear to love Miss Bread for richer or poorer, in sickness and…” “Can we have the abbreviated version?” “You want to marry Bread?” “Yes.” Raindrops smiled. “And you want to marry Miss Drops?” Bread just blushed. Raindrops translated. “Hehe, that means yes!” “You may… eat the bride now.” Raindrops took a large piece of Bread with her mouth and swallowed. “I love you Bread-chan!” Finally, pony and bread were together! Everypony beat their hooves on the ground, hesitant, perhaps because they were so moved by such a touching scene of true love. After a truly memorable wedding reception, Rain and Bread-chan sat together on a hillside watching the sunset. “You know what the next step is?” Bread didn’t answer. “A foal!” Raindrops kissed Bread. She could see the amazing future they would have together. Bread and Raindrops. Together forever. Later in that week, Bread got moldy. And that was the end of Raindrops’ dream. A few weeks later she met a beautiful mare in the orchard. Actually, not a mare; better than that. She met Apple. And she was going to marry her. Apple-chan was her true love. Forever. Until she got rotten anyway.
