There isn't much in life Faith lived for. She worked with a partner and advisor called Merc. He told her when the cops where arriving and guided her to objectives.

They have a hideout in a hollowed out air conditioner. She was running a letter for a man called 'Currency' It was obviously an alias but she ran jobs for anyone. You need money to buy food from contacts after all.

There where a few problems with being a runner. One was that you spend 90% of your time on skyscraper roofs, you have obvious tattoos on your body and you love the colour red. It's how runners train. Important paths are red, certain obstacles are orange and green. Anything un-important is white. That's basically all she saw. White and red.

"Faith. Blues. Get out, now!" Merc warned her over her earphone. Faith was resting on a rooftop drinking coffee.

"On my break? Seriously?" Faith was annoyed that someone had called the cops on her break

"Yeah, well its all well and good until they shoot you. Now get out of there!" Merc wasn't joking. The cops had been getting angry with her escaping all the time so they just started shooting. She had encountered cop-runners before but she was too good for them. They didn't understand how true free-running worked.

Faith headed for the nearest ledge, saw it was a 45 degree slope and that there was a door on a balcony with a 10 meter jump to overcome.

"Just another day of work." She looked back, SWAT cops kicked down the door. She turned, sliding down the colourless windows. Gaining enough speed to jump and land nicely on the balcony. She opened the door looked back, and gave a cop a one-finger salute, then shut the door.

"Right. I got a job for you. Get back here." Merc was tired. He was up all night trying to find a job for Faith to run but never found one until now. She hit an elevator and rode to the top. It was the building next to their hideout and nobody was watching. She jumped the gap and entered her hideout.

"Right, what'cha got?" Faith was always looking for new challenges so she enjoyed the thrill of jumping a 10 meter gap.

"We have another package from Currency. The pick-up is at the Zone building and drop-off at the air vent on Vincent's. But be careful he said that the package was delicate. Don't get shot." Merc was always concerned with Faith. She had broken a few bones before and couldn't go to the hospital, the cops would arrest her. However, Merc knew a old friend who was a doctor. He patched her up and she was running again within the quarter.

"Right. I'm off." Faith picked up the long-range transmitter, the Zone building was a good three kilometres from their hideout but the drop-off was right next to the building. Faith picked up her pocket GPS and headed out.

"Ok. You see the dog-faced sign to your nine oh' clock? Head in that direction." Faith started to run, she jumped across platforms and catwalks. She was good at what she did. The rooftops where her city, she knew how to navigate them backwards, however. On a long-range job like this, another runner was usually contracted. But she knew that she was lucky to get a job like this. Long range jobs pay a lot of money.

Faith approached the dog-logo building. There was a news chopper overhead so she took cover. The last time she didn't she had cops over her in minutes. The chopper passed over without stopping.

"Alright now head towards the Zone building. The logo is a big 'Z' Can't miss it." Merc was tracking her with and encrypted GPS signal that sent a pulse every 20 seconds. If it was continuous, it would be obvious to the 'Blues'

Blues where Merc's nickname for cops. They usually dress blue so he thought it was a fitting name.

Faith saw the 'Z' and headed towards it. It was a easy journey, jumps ended with a roll, stopping damage by falling great distances and keeping momentum. Three minutes had passed and she was at the Zone building. The package was in a air vent. As usual. She looked inside, it was some kind of remote control device. She asked Merc if he could bring anything up about it. They didn't transport dangerous or lethal items.

"Well the way you describe it, it seems harmless. So go ahead and head off to Vincent's. The drop off is marked with the usual red delta." Merc announced.

Faith ran off to the building next to it. However something was missing. The bag felt lighter, she peered in and saw that the remote had disappeared!

"Merc what the hell. The remote is gone, there is no hole in the bag and i zipped it up." Faith was annoyed. This was going to be good pay as well.

Merc sighs through the microphone. "Well. I don't know. Try looking in the air vent again." Faith looked - Nothing.

"Merc, this isn't helping. We need this job."

"I know. And i can't help if your butter-fingers are slipper- WHAT THE HE-" the microphone cut off.

Shit. Blues found Merc.

Faith sprinted towards her base, taking every short-cut she could get. She made it in less than ten minutes.

She forced the hatch off and leaped inside. The room was perfect. No kinds of disturbance. Faith yelled out "Merc! Where are you! Hello!?" No answer.

She closed her eyes, opened up the hatch and was greeted with several G36Cs aimed at her. The cops had lured her into a trap. The light was blinding. So she closed her eyes again after she was greeted by the click of the safety on a pistol to her head. She heard a bang. Then nothing.

Faith opened her eyes, well she thought that she did. All she saw was a remote control. She approached the floating device. After waving her hands around it, she determined that it was indeed floating and that there was nothing, other than that remote. Faith grabbed it - Nothing happened. She looked at the buttons on the remote. A few of them had no labels. But one of them had a strange fell to it, like she wanted to press it, she looked at the label; "DIMENSIONAL TRAVEL"

Faith's curiosity got the better of her, so she pressed it. The remote flung out of her hands and completely vanished. After that, Faith lost her sense of gravity, she felt herself start to float up, she looked behind her, she saw thousands of stars, she looked down, saw some kind of planet. Faith was confused - How could she be in space and not be dead?

Faith then felt a sense of gravity, heavier than it should be. She fell towards the planet below her at a incredible speed. Faith closed her eyes.

Faith opened her eyes after around thirty seconds, she was laying face up on some kind of concrete building. She looked around, it looked exactly like the city she had been in. Everything was white. But there was something wrong about the city she was in. It was.. Different. After standing up and looking around, she recoiled from the edge as she saw tonnes of animals below her. This wasn't right. She looked around for a little bit and after around five minutes of looking at animals below her on the streets and not another human to be found, she turned and saw some kind of flying horse. Faith's eyes widened. She backed up against a air vent.

"So. Uh. What are you exactly?" Apparently this thing could talk. And it didn't sound happy.

Faith coughed a few times, un-able to speak in this state of shock.

"Hello? Can you speak?" it landed and approached Faith, who didn't move. The horse started to look her over in a curious manner, then it prodded Faith and she didn't like being prodded. Still being un-able to speak to this thing, she pushed it back with her foot, then turned her head and saw several other of those things in some sort of golden armour fly over.

The armoured ones landed and flared their wings, "Halt, state your business here." No time to talk, she had to get away. Faith started towards the horses, who looked like guards in that armour, sliding under their wings. They didn't expect this and collided their wings as they turned, tangling their feathers, allowing Faith some lead on them.

She vaulted a air vent and ran off of the edge of the building. Landing on another one 8 metes below and rolling. She had to escape the guards who where now on her tail, catching up quickly.

In front of her was a very big building. It had statues near it that resembled books, a library. Faith continued to jump from building to building, dodging dives from the two guards, vaulting fences and sliding under pipes.

She eventually jumped onto the library's flat roof. There was a hatch about 15 meters to her front, however the guards landed ahead of her. She didn't slow down, but instead jumping over a kick the guard launched and doing a karate kick to his head, knocking him out cold, then launched a punch towards the guard's throat, stunning him.

The stunned guard stood there, eventually shaking his head but Faith was already gone.

Faith jumped though the hatch, landing in a storage room, she closed the hatch above her. She saw a open door and closed it, allowing her some breathing time, she started to think things over. What the hell where those things, and what the hell did that remote do, I need to get back to it and get myself home. Faith sighed a little, she didn't know what just happened. All she knew is that those armoured ones are hostile.

I need to get a drink... Faith looked around the storage room, all it had was archived books in it, no sinks or taps. She headed towards the door, very slowly opening it and taking a peek outside. She saw two more horses, one of them had a horn sticking out of its head and the other had wings.

"So, Twilight. I saw this thing as I was flying over to grab a bite to eat and it was just.. Weird." The winged one was talking about her!

"We will discuss this later Rainbow, just help me find this book. Ah! Here we go, in here." They where heading towards Faith!
Dammit, no rest for me then.. Faith hid behind a box. The two creatures entered the room.

"Ok Rainbow, we are looking for a book on Foreign creatures. I think its called 'Far off and Foreign.' Look over there." The horned one pointed towards where Faith was hiding. Faith looked towards the hatch, it was a good five meters away. She couldn't get there without being heard or seen. So she waited, and as the winged one approached she started to feel un-easy. She looked to her right, there was a book. So she picked it up and looked behind her, just peeking over the edge of the box. She saw that they where both looking at something, so she tossed the book towards the doorway, and waited.

The pair approached the book and Faith saw her chance.

Faith took off the hatch silently and climbed through, replacing it and looking at the sky. No guards. She saw where she had woken up and started to make her way towards the building, she had to get that remote. However, before she got three steps away, hatch flew off with a white glow and Rainbow flew through. Damn, and that almost worked.

Faith bolted it at full speed towards the building, it had a scaffold on the side of it that allowed her to ascend. She jumped a two meter gap and clung onto a pole, climbing up a bit, then jumping to her left towards the scaffolding. Dodging an attack by the winged one who face-planted the pipe. Seeing stars, Rainbow looked towards Faith who was already way above her, Faith was fast.

She snapped out of her state and flew up, seeing Faith who was already on another building, she zoomed off towards her. Catching up easily with her wings, she made a dive. However, as she dived, Faith slid under a pipe, which Rainbow head-butted. That one hurt, Rainbow held her head, loosing sight of Faith.

Faith had made it to where she woke up. And started looking - For anything that might take her back home. Then she remembered; The remote! That could have came through before I did!

She looked around, she looked and looked - Nothing.

After about five minutes looking, she turned around and came face to face with a - Well she didn't know what it was. Faith took a few steps back, she backed up into a air-vent.

It spoke; "Why are you avoiding my student and her friends? And why did you assault two of my guards?" It had a serious tone to her. Faith was too stunned to answer. "You can either answer to me or be put in a dungeon for a week." Faith was afraid for her life, she looked to her right, a platform had turned red. She kicked off and sprung towards the platform, landed, then face-planted a invisible wall (ffs game designers, make it interesting.) She couldn't move. Something had got a hold of her and was pulling her back towards the massive angry thing. Faith noticed that because she couldn't move, her chest couldn't rise to accommodate oxygen filling her lungs, so she began to loose conciousness. At first she lost all colour in her sight, then she began to feel weak, then she couldn't think and had tunnel vision. Then she hit the floor as whatever had hold of her let go, Faith couldn't move, she had already lost too much oxygen and lost conciousness.

Faith woke up in some sort of cell, it was enclosed, very enclosed. About five meters wide and long, and about seven tall. It was made out of cobblestone, had a small barred window, the jail door, a bed, a sink, a toilet and had various plants growing on the walls, Faith looked out of the window. She was quite high up, and was overlooking several hundred acres of land.

Faith turned as she heard what sounded like footsteps. The same angry creature from before was in front of her cell. Faith backed up against the wall.

It spoke once again; "Lets try this again, with introductions. I am Princess Celestia. And you?" Faith had calmed down because she had just woke up and replied this time.

"Faith." She sat down on the bed.

"Good. Now, I am going to let you out, If you attempt to run away you will end up in here again, also, sorry for knocking you out, I shall accommodate your chest next time I have to grab you with magic."

"With what?" Faith didn't believe what she was hearing.

"Magic, our horns allow us to preform telekinetic tasks and cast spells." Faith shook her head

"Where I come from magic doesn't exist."

The cell doors opened. "Come, we have much to talk about." Faith got up and exited the cell.

Just a 'few' tests.

After arriving at the brilliantly white study, Celestia introduced Faith to Twilight.

"So, Faith, can you tell me what colour this is please?" Twilight held up a piece of white paper.

"White." Twilight looked confused then held up a few other, white papers.

"All white. Is there something wrong Twilight?"

"Yes there is, your eyes. Come over here and lay down, I need to take a look at your eyes." Faith lied down on a white couch, her head on a pillow. Twilight peered into her eyes, and after a few moments of staring into her pupil Twilight spoke; "Ok, well there is nothing wrong with your eyes but it could be a brain problem" Faith looked at Twilight with and eyebrow raised

"Can you fix it?" Faith couldn't help her colour-blindness, it was how she trained.

"Mmmm. Dunno, let me peer into your brain." Faith had to admit, that sounded a little creepy.

Twilight's horn shone and Faith totally died - Nah, she didn't really. But she did get a major case of vertigo, Twilight was finished in seconds But Faith had already spewed all over Twilight -- NO. Hold on, its the damn music, i can't take this seriously with banana phone playing.

Faith shook her head a few times, Twilight finally was finished. "Well I fixed the problem."

"Oh yeah, so you did." Faith's head exploded -- Nope -- Faith blinked a few times, looking around her, the colours where amazing. "Thanks Twilight."

"My pleasure, let me show you where you are staying." Faith and Twilight got up and walked to the room next to the study. "Here we are, this is my room," Twilight pointed to the room next to this one "And that is your one. Go get some rest."

Faith opened the door and shut it behind her, infront of her was a bed and the window behind it was displaying very low amounts of light, Faith yawned. It was time to get some sleep, she had to go do other stuff tomorrow anyway, like walk around with that 'Unicorn' and do things.. Yeah... Things...

So yeah, derp chapter and all. Pinkie mad me do it... What? I have to type more? Alright. But you have to promise that you will go back into the monitor okay?

Faith woke up after having some sort of dream about things, and exited the room after realising it was almost mid-day. Twilight was waiting for her: "Hey Faith, good morning! Did you sleep well?"

"Morning Twilight and yes I did."

"Good! We have to meet Celestia in the throne room."

"Okay, lets go." Faith and Twilight started to walk towards the throne room when Faith suddenly noticed that they where IN FRONT of it.

"Uh, Twilight. How did we-"

"Teleport."

"Oh." Faith looked confused.

"Good morning to the both of you. I have pressing matters to attend to, so Luna will escort you around Canterlot for the day."

"We," Luna coughed "I will be glad to see you both around Canterlot."

Faith and Twilight smiled, the trio started to walk around town; Faith loved the buildings and being able to see again, she really did have to control herself, the feeling to climb all this was overwhelming. They arrived at a doughnut store and bought a few chocolate doughnuts, they all sat down.

"So, how are you liking Canterlot Faith?" Twilight bit into her doughnut.

"It's amazing, I have never seen anything so beautiful." Faith finished the small chewy treat. "I wish we had cities like this back home." Faith looked sad.

"What is wrong Faith." Luna looked at Faith sympathetically

"I'm used to running around on top of rooftops, it's like an assault course for me, I miss that." Faith looked at Twilight "Is there anyway that I can practise my skills?"

Luna replied; "I'm afraid not in Canterlot, if you find a suitable place somewhere else however, you are free to run about."

Faith was stumped, she had lost and gained so much over a period of time. The one thing she wanted was to run, that's what she did. But without a suitable area to practice in, what was the point?

The group finished up their doughnuts and headed out to the gardens.

"This is beautiful. I've never seen anything quite like this." Faith wasn't easily impressed with nature, it's why she lived in the city, but this was amazing.

"Indeed, the Canterlot gardeners set the bar very high for others." Luna smiled, she was happy to be out of the castle with some known faces, not some people telling her this and that. "I hope that we will find our way through the maze."

A Challenge? Faith's mood just sky-rocketed. "Race you? No wings or Horn." Twilight and Luna both nodded. They all assumed a starting-sprint position. Faith shouted "Go!" And they all ran in different directions.

An hour passed, Faith hasn't heard a voice or sound since they started. It was starting to get dark and Luna had to raise the moon. Faith looked up. There was Luna, flying her way to the balcony where she raised the moon. That meant that Twilight and herself was still in. Faith rounded 40 more corners, 40 minutes passed. Another 150 corners passed. 50 minutes passed. Faith admitted it. I'm lost. Great, I can't climb the bushes either. She rounded one corner and found the centre of the maze. It was beautiful, a reward for completing the maze.

It was filled with flours of different colours, not a weed in sight. There was a swinging bench in the middle. Twilight was on the opposite side of the rounded centre. Faith sprinted to the middle and sat down, Twilight was only a second behind.

"I win." Faith smiled

"Yup. This place is beautiful, I haven't seen the centre before." Twilight was looking around. Faith yawned.

"Mind if i rest my eyes a little? I'm tired." She stretched her arms

"Sure, i might have a nap too." Twilight curled up. It was cute.

Then they both fell asleep.
