My Little Pony Friendship is Magic:
A Falling Out part 1

Princess Luna was in her bedroom reading up on everything that had happened while she was Nightmare Moon, trapped in the moon for 1000 years. She was smiling looking at the vast changes in customs, architecture, and technology described in books that she had brought up from the castle archives that her sister Princess Celestia had suggested she read to catch up on what had happened in her absense. Nearly every second or third chapter of each book contained sections about the absent princess of the moon, which told tales about many who had kept hope that she would break free from the darkness in her heart, and that many had started to enjoy the night after the sun had gone down for the day.

Luna sniffed, reading the chapters as she smiled, happy to read that ponies had enjoyed the night that she lovingly crafted and celebrated the missing princess in the hope that she would break the spell of darkness that had warped her into Nightmare Moon. In the chapters there was a letter, signed by many ponies of old in hope of her reading one day letting her know that they enjoyed her night.

Dear Princess Luna,

We of Ponyville are enjoying your night which we now love. We have held events in your name hoping that everypony’s wishes could be heard by you. We have started up Nightmare Night in your honour so that we can have fun, despite the sadness we feel for your absence.

Many are studying the stars and comets and we hope that you can one day break free of the darkness that has hold of you.

“Thank you.” Luna whispered softly to those who had written to Celestia in hopes of getting their wishes to Luna as she used her magic to turn the page. On the other side were photos of ponies partying at night or congregating in one place to watch the moon rise. It was gratifying to see so many were up during the night whispering their thanks to the missing princess.

Luna yawned, looking out the window as she thought of Twilight Sparkle and her friends. She smiled as she wondered what they were doing right now in the light of the day. The princess marked her page in the book before closing it and telekinetically pulling her blanket over herself, ready to rest in preparation to raise the moon in 10 hours. She quickly fell asleep, thinking about Twilight Sparkle, not noticing that she forgot to close the drapes on her windows.

Princess Celestia was passing her younger sister’s room wondering whether Luna was still up, hoping to chat for a little bit. She stopped by her sisters room and looked in, smiling as she saw her sister asleep. Noticing the open drapes she walks over, closing them to prevent the bright light of the sun from disturbing her sister’s sleep.
“Sleep tight my dear sister” she said, under her breath “It is a joy to have you back in my life again, I missed you so much.”
She smiled, a tear running down her cheek as she thought back to all of the years spent without her sister in her life.

As the day passed Princess Celestia put aside letters from her student and friends for Luna to read after she woke up and raised the moon for the night. A smile appeared on her face as she read the most recent letter sent by her star pupil.

Dear Princess Celestia,

I am wondering when I am going to be called back to Canterlot to further my studies and/or to help teach new student’s at the school for gifted Unicorns. I would like to report that Sweetie Belle, Rarity’s younger sister, is doing well in her study of magic but I’m not sure magic is for Sweetie Bell, seeing as she has such a wonderful voice for singing. I am wondering if she could enrol in a singing class at Canterlot. I know Rarity would be pleased and would be able to make all types of dresses and such for dress recitals.

Princess Celestia sighed, beginning to write a letter to Twilight.

To my faithful student Twilight Sparkle,

I am happy to hear from you, and am glad to hear that Sweetie Belle is studying under you. I’m sure that she’ll do well under your tutelage. You also mentioned something about enrolling her into a singing class here at Canterlot, but please speak Rarity about this and I will see what I can do about setting up a studio in Ponyville for those that want to learn singing and dancing.

I have another request for you Twilight and that is to learn about love. I would like your view on it and I don’t want letters coming in each week about what you learn, it’s the experience that must be learned. Also please inform the mayor that I will be visiting Ponyville to talk to her in the coming week, and please ask her for the most convenient time that I can meet her.

Celestia smiled before sending the letter to Twilight, before starting to set the table for her sister to enjoy her evening meal.

Waking up from her dream of Twilight Sparkle and herself, Luna yawned, rubbing the sleep from her eyes and opening the drapes to show the last few hours of the day. She got up and stretched before making her way down to the kitchen for something to eat as her sister was already there.
“Good evening Luna,” Celestia chirped, “I hope you slept well dear sister.”

Luna nodded and smiled, “I did Tia.” She looked at the small pile of scrolls put safely to the side. “Are they for me dear sister?”

Celestia smiled, taking a sip of her tea. “They are from Twilight Sparkle and her friends I must say they really like you as a friend Luna.”

Luna noded, a grin appearing on her face, “I do enjoy their company, but it’s hard to meet up with them when I am reading all the history that I missed when I was,” she shuddered, “Nightmare Moon.”

“I know sis, but don’t forget those books have chapters about you and I lead every celebration hoping that you would see that we all missed you. Not everypony enjoyed the night, but when you went missing they started to enjoy the night that you would bring.” Celestia smiles.

“I know Tia I was trying not to cry when I read those chapters. Thank you.” Luna smiled at her beloved older sister as she was brought her meal by one of the palace’s cooks.

“You’re welcome sis. I’d better get ready, I need to lower the sun so that you can bring your moon and night to us.” Celestia replied, finishing her own meal.

“I’ll be there soon sis.” Luna assured, beginning to eat, smiling as she also started to read the letters. She wondered why her sister wouldn’t let her go to see her friends, as she wanted to spend time with them.

Dear Princess Luna,

We are having a party in the next few weeks and we would love you to come along as our guest of honour and celebrate with us.It will be held at Sweet Apple Archers Farm in the next few weeks.

Dangnabit, I’m not really a letter writing pony, Princess Luna, but I have to see to Applebloom. I swear that young’n is just trying too hard to find her cutie mark to pay attention to what she is good at.

Applejack

Luna giggled and smiled, reading the letter before starting to read the other letters that were for her. Each letter had invites to the party at Sweet Apple Archer’s Farm. She was reading Twilight’s letter, thinking of Twilight Sparkle and the dream she had earlier as she finished her meal, before making her way to the balcony to raise the moon.

Princess Celestia made her way to the balcony after getting ready to tend to a matter that she was going to oversee as Luna teleported the rest of the way to the balcony ready to bring up the moon. Celestia smiled and began the process of lowering the sun. As the ponies in Ponyville watched the sun setting some were waiting to watch the moon as Luna started to raise the moon.

“Well done dear sister.” Celestia said approvingly, looking to her sister.

“Thank you Tia it’s nice to know that I haven’t lost my touch.” Luna replied looking up at her sister.

“I need to go into the throne room to tend to a pressing matter,” Celestia said and started to walk back inside. She looked over her shoulder at Luna “and I want you to finish reading the current book before doing anything else.”

Luna blinked. She had had her heart set on going into Ponyville, “But Tia I was planning to go to Ponyville to see my friends.” She looked saddened as Celestia stopped and turned around.

“I know, Luna, but that book you’re reading is important too. It has photos of the gifts that were given at the parties I held in your honour. Please understand that I want you to see the gifts in the photos before seeing them in person. One is wonderfully made, just for you.” Celestia looked at Luna with worry in her eyes, seeing her sister sadden.

“But I want to go in Ponyville. Why can’t I read the book tomorrow night? You know I will.” Luna stomps her hoof.

“I know you will, Luna but tomorrow night is the one night I want you here for something. I don’t want you to be late for that. Besides, I know you want to go to meet your friends. You have made your point enough times over the last month, and I have said yes. But I can’t let you go tonight. I’m sorry dear Luna but I have to put my hoof down for tonight. Anyway, you’ll be needed for tomorrow night.” Celestia walked back to her sister.

“It’s not fair. My friends invite me over to spend time with them tonight and you won’t let me go. You’re always saying that I need friends, plus if I don’t show up they’ll think that I have forgotten about them, and I don’t want to upset them.” Luna looked away as a tear ran down her cheek.

Celestia sighed and shook her head, looking to her sister. “Luna, try and understand, that book you’re reading has spells that you need to learn too. You have missed out on so much. I’m only trying to help you, along with everypony that has enjoyed the night you were meant to bring. They have written poems, and even sent their love for the missing princess they miss so much.”

“I know that Tia, but I need a night off from studying. I need to relax, and I can’t relax in my room knowing that I have studying to do. You’re making me look bad, and that feeling of being Nightmare Moon is one thing I want to forget about.” She looked at her sister in anger as tears trickled down her cheeks, wanting to see her friends.

“No Luna, as your sister I forbid you to leave your studying.” She looks at her sister, “It hurts me as much as it hurts you, Luna, but I can’t let you leave, not tonight. Not when tomorrow night I need you here for something special that I have been planning just for you. Please don’t ruin what I have planned for tomorrow night dear si-”
“SHUT UP!” Luna yelled, causing her sister to step back, “It’s always about study this and study that with you, isn’t it Tia? What about my needs? You always go on about needing to make my own way. I’m not some young filly that can’t help herself. I may be the same age as you but not in body and mind.” She stood her ground, breathing hard.

Celestia shook her head and sighed. “Luna, enough. You’re going to study before you go to your friends tonight, and that’s final.” Celestia yelled back.

“No, not this time Tia.” Luna shuddered and kept control of her anger, not wanting it to flare out. “Tonight I make my own choice, and that is going to my friends to enjoy tonight. I don’t care if you have something planed, I want a night off so that I can relax. I’m not Twilight Sparkle who can study for long periods at a time, yet even she gets a break from her studies to spend time with her friends.” Luna seethed at Celestia before turning around and running from the balcony.

“Luna, wait, come back!” Celestia called out, but it was too late to say anything to make up for what she said. “Oh horse feathers, I’ve done it this time,” Celestia sighed sadly before looking up at the moon. “I keep forgetting you’re not the same as me, and that you need your friends.” She looked down after seeing the first star of the night. “Have I over stepped the mark with what I said just now?” She thought before walking back , making her way to her sister’s room.

Luna had run all the way back to her room, crying the entire way. Tears ran down Luna’s face as she used her magic to pack her bags with what she’d need. She placed a note on the table, next to a gift for her sister. She took a final look around the room, “Is that everything I need?” she wondered. Luna nodded, using her magic to place her saddlebags onto her back, before pushing one of the large windows open and taking flight into the night.

Celestia knocked on the door of her younger sister’s room. She wanted to make things right with Luna. Several moments pass and she didn’t hear any noises from within or get an answer. Celestia opened the door and looked in. “Luna are you in here?” she called, before walking in. “Luna I want to say I’m sorry for the way I talked to you, I didn’t mean to say those things.” She looked around the room, trying to find her sister before spotting the note on the table and using her magic to lift it up to read.

Dear sister,

Please understand that I’m sorry for yelling at you, but you made me upset after bringing up the moon for the night. By the time you read this I will be in or near Ponyville making my way to the Everfree Forest to see a zebra there. Please don’t send anypony after me. I need time alone to calm down.

Luna

P.S – I left you a gift to say that I’m sorry. Please enjoy it.

Celestia blinked and looked at the gift. It was a jewel of the sun and the moon together. “Oh, dear sister, its lovely. Please hurry back when you can.” She whispered to no one as she used a blank piece of paper to compose a note to Twilight Sparkle.

To my dearest student, Twilight Sparkle,

I’m afraid that Princess Luna and I had a little fight about what she wanted to do tonight, and I forgot about the sleepover you and your friends had planned for Luna.

Please, I need you and your friends to find Luna. She ran away from Canterlot, and she may be heading for the Everfree Forest to see Zecora. Please find her for me, as I have a meeting with somepony that I must keep.

Princess Celestia

Celestia sent the note out of the open window as she looked into the night sky, whispering, “Come back to me Luna, I’m so sorry.” A tear ran down her cheek as she closed the window, using her magic to pick up the gift that was left for her. She then made her way back to her own room.

Twilight was looking out her window, hoping to see some sign of Luna coming. Her friends were gathered with her in the library awaiting their friend, Luna.
“Where is she?” Rainbow Dash asked, looking to Twilight.

“I don’t know, Rainbow Dash. I did explain to Princess Celestia that we were having a sleepover, and that Luna was invited.” Twilight looked at her friends.

“Well, if you ask me she might have been held up or somethi-” Spike start to say, before burping out a green flame which materialised a scroll.

“Well, that’s one way of sending a message.” Applejack remarked, looking at Spike, and wondering why he does it.

Twilight sees the scroll, “Spike read it please.”

Spike coughed, clearing his throat. “To my dearest student, Twilight Sparkle. I’m afraid that Princess Luna and I had a little fight about what she wanted to do tonight, and I forgot about the sleepover you and your friends had planned for Luna. Please, I need your friends and you to find Luna. She ran away from Canterlot, and she may be heading for the Everfree Forest to see Zecora. Please find her for me, as I have a meeting with somepony that I must keep. Princess Celestia”

“What?” Twilight and the rest looked at Spike. “Luna ran away from Canterlot after having a fight with Celestia?”

“Well, we’d better go and get the poor dear. She’ll need her friends more than ever now.” Rarity sighed.

“Umm if it’s ok with everypony, I would like to stay just in case Luna comes by here first.” Fluttershy said, looking out the window.

“Ok Fluttershy,” Twilight looked to Pinkie Pie, “you coming Pinkie?”

Pinkie Pie smiled and thought. “Umm, no, I’m meant to be back at Sugarcube Corner. I’m supposed to be helping with the designing of something or other,” She smiled as she had brought the food over before walking to the door. “I’ll see you girls tomorrow morning.”

“Bye Pinkie, and have fun.” Twilight called after her. She turned and sighed, looking to Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Rarity. “Guess it’ll be just us going after Luna then.”

Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Rarity noded as Twilight led the way out of her home and into the Everfree Forest, on their way to find Luna.

Luna looked at the forest and shuddered, wondering if coming into the forest was a good idea at all. “Oh, now I know I’m lost.” She looked around.

Zecora was out in the early hours of the night picking herbs when she heard someone speak. She walked towards the pricess of the night, “Hello night bringer and why do say you are lost when you have been found?”

Luna blinked and her eyes opened wide in surprise, “I got lost and I ran away from my sister at the castle, and now I don’t know my way back.” She looked down, sniffing.

“Come, child, let’s get out of the cold night air. My home isn’t far and Twilight and her friends will stop by my home first to ask for help in finding you. They’ll be surprised to see you here safe,” Zecora smiled and bowed, before walking back to her home, Luna trailing behind her. “I know of no fight, and yet you’re upset with your sister. The sun bringer has a lot on her mind, but so do you, young one. You have much to learn, despite wishing to make your own path.” She intoned.

“Ummm, Zecora, how do you know my sister has a lot on her mind?” Luna asked.

To this Zecora chuckled. “I know what it’s like to have a lot on my mind and lose focus on something that is in front of me. Besides, you know my name child what is yours?” She asked.

“I’m Luna, and it’s a pleasure to meet you, Zecora. Twilight has told me all about you.” Luna smiled, happy to be with one of Twilight’s friends.

“Twilight told you about me, yes, but Twilight is like you; sometimes busy with her studies, learning and trying new spells. But her friends drag her away from her studies to have a break so that she doesn’t burn out.” Zecora smiled as she walked up to her home and opened the door. “Please come in and rest. I think your friends will be here soon. You need a little rest before going back with them to Ponyville.”

Luna noded and walked in, thanking Zecora as she laid down, looking around Zecora’s home. The two started talking, Luna curious as to why Zecora was out in the middle of the night.

Twilight led Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Rarity towards Zecora’s home, as it would be the best option to ask for Zecora to help in finding Luna. “I just hope Zecora is home.” She told her friends, concern evident in her voice.

Applejack nodded, never before seeing Twilight Sparkle this upset and worried about Princess Luna. She exchanged glances with Rarity, who caught on to what Applejack had seen on Twilight’s face.

“Applejack, you don’t think Twilight has a crush on Luna do you?” Rarity whispered to Applejack, careful not to let Twilight hear.

“I don’t rightly know. It might be possible, I’ve never seen her this worried before, that is one thing I do know.” Applejack answered back.

Rainbow Dash sighed, watching from above to look out for any lights that may appear up ahead. “Twilight, I can see Zecora’s home, and the lights are on!” She called down.

Twilight smiled and nodded, spotting the zebra’s house. She slowed down before coming to a stop at the front door, knocking to announce her presence. “Let’s hope Zecora can help in finding Luna,” she told the others.

Zecora smiled and looked at Luna. “Ahh, there are your friends now. I told you they’d be stopping by for my help in finding you, Luna.” She walked over to the door and opened it. “Greetings, Twilight Sparkle. I know the one you seek, and I found her. She is safe, but do come in and rest for a bit before going home.” She moved aside as Twilight and her friends walk in, seeing Luna laying there smiling at seeing her friends.

“Princess Luna!” Twilight exclaimed, walking over to Princess Luna and nuzzling her happily. “Princess Celestia was so worried about you, and we were worried the most when you didn’t show up.”

Luna nuzzled back, happy to have her friends by her side. causing a tear to run down her cheek. “I did leave a note for my sister to read, which I guess she did read. But it was not only her fault, but also mine. It’s just that the feeling of not being wanted is still there. I do try to keep it in check, but sometimes I just need to vent it.” She sniffed softly.
“Luna, darling, it’s ok, we are here for you now.” Rarity walked over with Applejack and Rainbow Dash, hugging Luna as Zecora smiled warmly at the scene.

“See Luna, your friends are happy that you’re safe. Please don’t let your anger towards your sister get in the way of making up with her. She is family until you settle down with another pony that you love,” Zecora said as she looked at the herbs she had picked, before yawning. “I shouldn’t be yawning, a host shouldn’t yawn, but I was up so early and enjoying the last few hours of your night picking herbs. Please do see yourselves out whilst I go and wash up.” Zecora offered, taking her leave, as she went to wash up before going to bed.

“I think we’d better head home too girls,” Twilight told her friends, looking at Luna. “If you want, Princess Lu...” Luna smiled and shook her head.

“Twilight, don’t call me ‘Princess Luna’, please. It’s just Luna to you, and all my friends.” Luna smiled and nuzzled each in turn.

“Ok, Luna, but you can stay with me for the night if you want. I’ll let you use my bedroom.” Twilight chirped..

“I would like that, Twilight. Thank you.” Luna returned. They stood up and called out to Zecora with their good-byes before heading to Twilight’s home.

Luna smiled and says thank you to her friends as she walked with them, “I don’t know what to say to my sister, we had a fight about me coming here tonight, and that loneliness that I felt so long ago was coming back. I just had to get away before I did something wrong and hurt my sister. I don’t want to hurt her, or anypony.”

Twilight noded and sighed. “We all know the feeling of not wanting to hurt those that we are close to, even as friends we can work it out.”

“Besides, Luna, we are happy that you’re safe, and that’s what is important to us.” Rarity noted as she walked next to Applejack, who was nodding in agreement.

“We’re going to have so much fun telling stories to each other, and Pinkie Pie brought over the eats too!” Rainbow Dash called down,from her position flying over them.

Luna smiled and nodded before sighing, “I would like that but I think some quiet time is what I need, Rainbow Dash, I need to sort out my thoughts and clear my mind. I don’t want to become Nightmare Moon again and have to have you all save me for a second time. I would hate myself for becoming Nightmare Moon again.”

Twilight nodded and smiled back, reassuringly. “Ok Luna, but I do need to tell your sister that you’re safe and sound when we get back.”

Luna nodded, understandingly as she walked with her friends back to Twilights home, wondering if her sister would forgive her for the outburst.

Returning from their trip to the Everfree Forest, Twilight opened the door to her home . Fluttershy and Spike were asleep in a corner, and there was a scroll that had arrived while they were gone. Applejack and Rarity bid the rest goodnight, telling them that they would drop by tomorrow, before making their way home. Rainbow Dash announced that she would stay behind while Twilight showed Luna to her room.

“Thank you, Twilight but where are you going to sleep?” Luna asked.

“Don’t worry about me, Luna. You just rest and sort out what you need to do, I’ll be downstairs, reading the scroll, and writing a letter to Celestia telling her that you’re safe.” Twilight assured her.

Luna nodded and kissed Twilight’s cheek softly before laying down on the bed to rest and sort out her thoughts.

Twilight blinked in surprise, a blush rising in her cheeks from the kiss. She bid Luna goodnight before going back downstairs to Rainbow Dash.

“How do you think Luna is going to hold up?” Rainbow Dash asked, nuzzling Twilight’s cheek softly.

“Honestly, I don’t know, but she’ll sort her thoughts out herself.” Twilight nuzzled Rainbow Dash back. “I’m more worried about how she’ll take it when she finds out that you and I are a couple, Dash. She kissed me and I don’t know what to say to her.”

Rainbow Dash sighed, hugging Twilight to her. “We’ll tell her when the time is right, Twilight. Besides, don’t you need to do something first?” Rainbow pointed to the scroll.

“You’re right, Dashie.” Twilight smiled, kissing Rainbow Dash’s lips softly before Rainbow Dash let go of Twilight so that she can read the scroll.

Twilight giggled softly as she laid down to the read the scroll on the floor. As she was reading the scroll Rainbow Dash came over and laid next to her, putting a wing over Twilight’s back.

To my dearest student, Twilight Sparkle,

I’m writing to let you know that Luna needs someone to love. Please allow her to pick who she wants to love the most and share her life with.

Princess Celestia.

“Oh my,” Twilight exclaimed, blinking in surprise as she read, “not good at all.”

“What isn’t good Twilight?” Rainbow Dash asked, peering over to see the scroll.

“Oh no,” Twilight looked at Rainbow Dash, “Celestia wants us to let Luna choose who she wants to love!”

“What the hay is Celestia thinking?! She knows we are a couple, and Pinkie Pie is the only one that hasn’t hooked up with anypony!” Rainbow Dash yelled, looking at Twilight.

“I know, Rainbow, but there are times when Pinkie Pie isn’t around, or when she’s planning a party, or doing something fun. Come to think of it, I bumped into Trixie the other day and she said she was sorry for how she acted and wanted me to teach her on how to use her magic for helping others rather than showing off.” Twilight nuzzled Rainbow Dash softly.

Rainbow returned the nuzzle lovingly, “I have seen Trixie around too, though she did say sorry to me for doing what she did when she was in town the first time around.”

“That is nice of her, but I wonder if she is seeing somepony el…” Twilight trailed off, “No, it couldn’t be…” She shook her head.

“Spill it, Twilight, I know that look well enough.” Rainbow Dash teased.

“I was just thinking- if Trixie is in town and is planning on staying around… you don’t think she and Pinkie Pie are seeing each other, do you?” Twilight asked hesitantly.

Rainbow Dash blinked and laughed softly. “That, Twilight, is funny!” she exclaimed, her face turned serious, thinking, “…and in way it could be true too.”

Twilight nodded in agreement, “I think we need to talk to Pinkie about this.”

“Tomorrow. Ok, we have two guest sleeping here tonight, Twilight, and besides, someone has to wake Fluttershy up so that she can tend to her animals.” Rainbow Dash observed, yawning slightly.

“You’re right, Dashie.” Twilight agreed, before yawning. She used her magic to turn the lights down, “Night, my lovely Rainbow.” She crooned before putting the scroll back onto the desk, laying her head down to sleep.

“You too, Twilight.” Rainbow replied, kissing Twilight’s cheek lovingly before laying her own head down across Twilight’s neck, slipping off to sleep.

Luna, who had been watching from the stairs and had heard everything, saw how happy both Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle were together. "I know I can't have you, Twilight, but you are going to be fine with Rainbow Dash. I wish I had someone to love like you do." She smiled before walking back upstairs to Twilight’s bed. She looked out the window and sighed. A tear ran down her cheek as she thought back to the book in her room and her past friends that she knew and loved, their memory fading with time. She softly cried herself to sleep knowing that she couldn't have Twilight, who she loved the most out of all of her friends.

Outside in the night something streaked across the night sky, making its way to Canterlot before it stopped as it disappeared somewhere. A loud crash could be heard in the library, waking those who were asleep , and causing them to wonder what had caused the crash.

“Twilight, someone crashed into your house.” Luna called down, looking out the window. She looked up and blinked, seeing cobalt mane hanging down. Rainbow Dash and Twilight joined her at the window, looking up to see the same cobalt mane. Rainbow Dash leapt out the window, flying closer to have a better look.

“What do you see, Dashie?” Twilight called out to Rainbow.
“Oh boy, not good. There seems be an alicorn up here, and judging from his fall I say he has broken both wings and hurt his head. Glad he didn’t break his horn, but we need to move him inside now.” Rainbow yelled back to Twilight.

“Luna, I need help to bring the alicorn inside, but I’m guessing they’re too far up for even me to help. Think you can get him down halfway so that we can get him inside?” Twilight asked Luna who nodded and flew outside. “Fluttershy, I need you up here right now with the first aid kit. You’re the only one we have for patching up wounds. Spike I want you to write a letter to Princess Celestia, and one to the hospital, and I want it sent yesterday!” Spike and Fluttershy nodded, the yellow pegasus already springing into action with the first aid kit. Luna and Rainbow Dash prepared themselves to make sure that the alicorn was moved gently.

“We are ready, Twilight.” Luna looked at the other alicorn, taking in his coat and mane, wondering how he wound up in Ponyville, where he came from, and if he was here to visit. She then sees something that makes her worried. “Twilight he is bleeding.” She looks down to Twilight, whose eyes widen in surpise.

“Oh no, not good.” Twilight looked to Fluttershy and nodded, pointing up with a hoof to where Luna and Rainbow Dash were. Fluttershy nodded back, flying out the window to where the alicorn was. “Girls, please help Fluttershy with what she needs.”

Luna noded, looking at Fluttershy as she took the first aid kit with her magic and opened it up for Fluttershy. “Thank you Luna,” Fluttershy said, meekly. She examined the fallen alicorn and gasped, seeing where he was bleeding from. “Oh no, not good.” She looked inside the first aid kit and pulled out the cleaning wipes, being gentle as she wiped away the blood coming from a cut above the alicorn’s left eye, telling Luna what she needed for the triage.

Luna and Rainbow Dash watched on, hoping that they could move him without causing too much harm. “Twilight, I’m going to have to splint his wings and leg before he can be moved, otherwise he’ll be great pain when we do move him.” Fluttershy looked down at Twilight who nodded.
“Do it. The sooner we can move him inside the better it’ll be tomorrow morning when we can get to the hospital and have the nurses there patch him up properly.”

Fluttershy nodded in agreement and carefully started to splint his wings, being careful to not make the bone poke through his skin. The alicorn groaned weakly, opening his eyes slightly tp look up at Luna.

“I must’ve died and gone to pony-heaven.” He said, smiling weakly before blacking out.

“Twilight, we need to move him now.” Luna said as Fluttershy finished applying the bandages and splints.

Twilight nodded her head, giving the go ahead to move the alicorn that was passed out in the tree. Luna’s horn started to glow, and her magic surrounded the injured alicorn. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy kept watch as Luna started to move the alicorn, Twilight waiting to help with the next step.

Luna focused on moving the injured alicorn out of the tree, or in this case the branch he was laying on. “Luna, go slowly please.” Fluttershy implored, as the branch creaked slightly.

“Luna, I think Fluttershy is right.” Rainbow Dash flew under to cheek on the branch and inspect the crack. “Yep, there is a crack. Just go slowly, we don’t want him and then you going down because of that branch.”

Luna nodded, taking the advice of her friends. “Thank you both for pointing that out, we wouldn’t want two in the hospital tonight this night.” Twilight nodded in agreement..

Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy headed out and steadied the branch before nodding to Luna. The princess of the moon lifted the Alicorn up and away from the branch as she moved back towards the library with the alicorn in tow. Both Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash moved out from the under the branch..

“Luna, you doing ok with the injured Alicorn?” Twilight asked Luna, who nodded, moving a little bit further away as the branch finally gave way with a creak, and fell to the ground. “Whew that was close, ok Luna you can bring him in.” Twilight used her magic to make the window open up more to allow Luna to move the injured alicorn in, while Luna moved him closer to the window.

”Easy, Luna, just keep it slow and steady.” Luna told herself, moving the injured alicorn inside and onto the bed.

“We did it girls, all of us together!” Twilight looked at her friends who nodded and smiled as Luna laid down, a little worn out. Twilight saw this, “Luna, are you ok?” Twilight asked, nuzzlingher friend softly.

“I’m fine, Twilight, a little worn out, but fine. However, it looks like our new guest is the worse for wear.” Luna looked at Fluttershy, “Fluttershy, can you see if you can find anything else wrong with him? We also need to find out what his name is too. My sister may know if we can send her a drawing of his cutie mark. I’m sure she can tell us who he is.” Luna looked to the alicorn that was lying on the bed she had previously been using.

Twilight used her magic to levitate a quill and paper over so that she can draw his cutie mark. Calling for Spike she wondered if any letter had come from Celestia, then shook her head.

Fluttershy looked the alicorn over, gently picking out twigs and leaves from his mane. She gently put an ointment on his neck, while Luna looked at his flank, describing his cutie mark to Twilight. Downstairs Spike burped a green flame, a scroll landing on the ground. He picked it up and ran upstairs, both Luna and Twilight looking up at Spike.

“Ah, perfect. Twilight, can you read the letter please?” Luna smiled, seeing the seal on the letter, while Twilight nods, taking the letter from Spike. Luna glanced again at the cutie mark of the alicorn, then suddenly jumped up to her hooves. “No, it can’t be! Fluttershy can move away please?”

Fluttershy nodded and moved away from the Alicorn. Luna moved closer to get a better look, while Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and Twilight looked on. “Umm, Luna, what’s up?” Rainbow Dash asked.

Luna blinked and looked at the alicorn, shaking her head in disbelief. “No, it can’t bethe prince from Sungale, the southern kingdom, where it is always nice and temperate, even when it rains.”

Twilight blinked and thought, “Sungale… Sungale… it’s not a place I have heard of, Luna.”

Luna giggled, “Guess I should explain, Twilight,” she motioned to Fluttershy to go back to making sure the new alicorn was going to be okay. “My sister told me about Sungale when I read the term in one of the books I was studying before I arrived here.” She smiled, looking out the window. “Tia always said that when visiting Sungale it was a sight to behold, with both the earth ponies and the pegasus ponies working together, along with the unicorns in making wonderful dresses and fine jewellery. Tia and I both happen to own some exquisite examples.” She looked at the alicorn on the bed. “If I’m right Tia said there was a prince called Nebular.”

Twilight nodded as she looked at the alicorn. “If he wakes he can tell us, but in the meantime I need to read this letter that Celestia sent.” Luna leaned towards Twilight in anticipation, eager to find out what the letter contained.

Dear Twilight Sparkle,

Thank you for informing me of what has happened. I will be stopping by as soon as I can. Also, please tell Luna that I will be bringing a guest around, her cousin, whois looking forward to meeting her.. Finally, can you inform Luna that I loved her gift, it is one that I will keep dear to me.

Princess Celestia

Twilight gasped, having finishing reading the letter, “Celestia is coming here, and she is bringing a guest!”

Luna blinked and looks at Twilight, “Twilight, what has you so worked up?” Luna asked. Twilight levitated the letter over to show Luna., “Oh my. But how is she coming here? I’m glad she liked the gift I left for her , however what’s this about a guest coming along too?”

“There, I’m all done.” Fluttershy announced happily, stepping back. Rainbow Dash looked out the window, making out two flying objects, “Umm, I think they are coming right now, and it looks like Celestia is leading the way.”

Twilight blinked and gulped as she looked out the window. “Oh no, what time is it?” She looked to Luna who looked outside, “I would say we have been up for over half the night, judging from the position of the moon.”

“I think we’d better go downstairs and let our new guest get some rest” Twilight suggested. They made their way downstairs, Fluttershy bidding goodnight to her friends, kissing Spike on her way out. She then took flight for her home to get some rest, Rainbow Dash staying behind.

Celestia and her guest arrived soon after. Celestia knocked on the door, while behind her the hooded alicorn waited. “I just hope my cousin hasn’t hurt himself, Celestia.” The hooded alicorn commented.

“It has been a long been a long time since I last saw Nebular, I just hope he hasn’t forgotten what we both promised to each other so long ago.” Celestia sighed softly as the door opened.

“Princess Celestia, we were just talking about what should be done with our new guest who is upstairs resting.” Twilight greeted Celestia, who nodded and smiled back.

“Twilight Sparkle, it is good to see you again, and I’m glad you found Luna. I would like to introduce you all to someone that has come to see Equestria for himself, but we can’t just stand here talking.” Twilight started, realising that Celestia and her guest were waiting to be let in, and sheepishly moved back, letting Celestia and her guest enter.

“Thank you Miss Sparkle,” the hooded Alicorn said, bowing his head. Twilight closed the door behind them. “Umm, princess, who is this?” Twilight asked.

Celestia turned to the small group of ponies, “Everyone, I would like you all to meet Lightning Hoof, the prince of Stormdale.” He nodded and used his magic to remove his hood and cape from his body, showing his colouring for the first time. His hooves marked with white socks, with little thin white lines coming up from them, like lightning.

“A pleasure to meet you all, and if you don’t mind I would like to see my cousin Nebular so that I can see what mess he has gotten himself into on his nightly flight.” Lightning Hoof smiled and bowed to his host. Luna blinked and looked on, watching the new alicorn with wonder as she takes in his figure and colouring, noticing that the tips of his wings were different.

Celestia smiled and walked over to her sister, nuzzling her softly. “I’m so sorry for what I said before, Luna. I didn’t want to keep you from friends this night, but I was hoping to introduce you to our guest before you left.”

Luna nuzzled her sister back softly in greeting before walking to the door. “I’m still a little upset, Tia, and I haven’t cleared all my thoughts just yet.” She used her magic to open the door, “Twilight thank you for allowing me stay, but I still need time alone. Tia, please don’t come after me, I don’t want us to fight.” Luna walked out the door and took flight.

“Luna, please…” Celestia ran to the door, watching her younger sister flying off into the night, a tear running down her cheek.

“Celestia please allow her time to be alone.” Lightning Hoof implored, “It is her wish to not fight with you, if anything my cousin Nebular needs someone here, and I would like you to watch over him once I have seen him. Can I please see him before I go after Luna?”

Twilight nodded and smiled, “I’m Twilight Sparkle, please come this way.” She led Lightning Hoof upstairs to see his cousin.
“Again, it is a pleasure to meet you, Twilight Sparkle, and I’m guessing that the pegasus I saw is your lover?” the alicorn asked.

“Rainbow Dash?” Twilight smiled and nodded, “Yes she and I are a couple. Even though we both wish to have a foal or two we know it isn’t possible for two mares to have a foal.” She sighed softly, opening the door.

Lightning nodded sagely and smiled. “That is true ,Twilight, but adoption is open to you both.” He walked into the room and over to the bed, sighing as he looked at his cousin. “I told you a number of times, Nebular, never push yourself too hard without a flying buddy.” He smiled and noticed the splints on his cousin’s wings and leg.

“Fluttershy patched him up after he crash landed in the tree. He was lucky his injuries weren’t fatal.” Twilight explained as Lightning Hoof nods.

“I’m sorry, cousin. I just wanted to see Celestia tonight.” Nebular cut in quietly. His colouring was pitch black, even with his cobalt mane and tail. “I know, cousin, but Celestia is downstairs waiting for me to tell her that you’re ok, and I need to find Luna.” Lightning smiled, gently nuzzling his cousin.

“Oh, that beauty that was here.” Nebular said dreamily.,
“She is a gem, cousin.” Lightning agreed. He looked to Twilight, “Thank you, Miss Sparkle, and if you see Fluttershy tell her she has my thanks for patching my cousin up. Please get him to a hospital first thing in the morning.”
Twilight nodded and smiled as Lightning says his goodnights to his cousin, before walking down stairs back to Celestia.

“So how is he doing?” Celestia asked as Lightning hoof came back down the stairs.
“He is doing fine, just make sure he doesn’t fly for a while after he gets out of the hospital,” Lightning replied as he nuzzledCelestia. “Now, I have to find Luna and make sure she is ok. Please, if we aren’t back by morning don’t worry.”
Celestia nuzzled back softly and smiled, nodding. “Please, just make sure she is safe for me.”

“I will, Celestia.” Lightning assured her before walking out the door. He then flapped his wings, launching himself into the air in the direction that Luna had flown.

Princess Luna was flying away from Ponyville as she was still mad at her sister Celestia for coming to check up on her at her friend’s home as she shakes her head as she still couldn’t get the image of Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle out of her head. She had a crushed on Twilight Sparkle from after being released as Nightmare Moon. She shudders before making a turn as she didn’t want to fly back to Canterlot castle as she fly’s towards the old castle ruin’s, “Why does everything we want to do end up with Tia coming to check up on us.”

Lightning Hoof looks around as he looks around for where Luna went as he was high up above Ponyville looking around, “Princess Luna where have you flown off too, your sister was worried about my cousin and not you.” He sighs before shaking his head as brings up a shadow location spell to find out where Luna had flown off and which way.

“Come on where did she went off too now,” Lightning Hoof sighs as he uses the spell in a 360 turn hoping for some hint as to where Luna had flown off to before a shadow makes it self-known, “ahh there you are Luna.” He smiles before following the shadow of the Luna flying away from Ponyville.

In the Everfree Forest Princess Luna was looking around the old castle ruins even as tear’s run down her cheeks, “Why does Tia always have to ruin what we WANT.” She yells out loudly having walked into her old room as her magic flares up.

Lighting Hoof stops flapping his wing’s having follow shadow of Luna before making the spell stop as he picks up on the flare of magic, “Oh no not good.” He shakes his head before flying off to the source of the magical flare up.

Back in Ponyville Celestia was laying down at the bedside watching over Nebular as she looks up out the window, “Luna my dear sister please don’t think of me as checking up on you.” She says having notice the flare up of magic even as Nebula opens his eyes slightly.

“Well aren’t you a sight for sore eyes?” Nebula smiles looking at Princess Celestia as he notice’s her looking out the window.

Princess Celestia smiles and looks at Nebula and sighs, “You had me worried Nebula seeing as I thought you were meant to be waiting for Lightning Hoof to teleport you both to Canteralot.”

“I know, I know but I couldn’t wait seeing as we are setting my cousin and your sister up together, aren’t we.” Nebula smiles as he too had notice the flare up in magic.
Princess Celestia sighs and nods, “True but I completely forgot about the sleep over that was planned for tonight by Twilight and her friends for Luna.”

Nebula nods and smiles, “At least we know Luna will be in safe hoof’s right…..” He stops having catch a gleams of something lavender looking in, “it seems we have someone listening in.”

Celestia looks around and smiles seeing Twilight, “Twilight Sparkle you should know better than to listen to a conversation at doors.” she smiles.

Twilight blushes and lowers her head walking in, “I’m sorry Princess but I wanted to make sure that you didn’t want a drink or anything else that Pinkie Pie had brought over.”

“It’s ok Twilight but water will do fine and you have over heard Nebular and me talking about.” Celestia ask Twilight.

“Yes Princess and I heard that you two were setting up Luna and Lightning Hoof even after your letter to me telling me to let Luna choose who she wants to love.” Twilight looks between Nebular and Celestia.

“That is correct young one but see Celestia and me made a promise that when Luna comes into her own, Lightning Hoof and her are to meet in person and we were to keep track of what happens and report to each other on what the other was doing or thinking about.” Nebula smile’s nodding to the lavender unicorn.

“But why go to the trouble of setting them up for.” Twilight ask looking between her teacher and her new house guest.

“Twilight its simple besides have a look at you and Rainbow Dash you both fall in love with each other with no help from anyone else, it’s the same with your friends Rarity and Applejack or Fluttershy and Spike right,” Celestia smiles, “besides love sometimes need a push in the right direction sometimes. I know Luna longs for you but if she saw you and Rainbow Dash together she would know that you were spoken for. I could tell in her voice before she flew off upset that I was checking up on her when in fact I wanted to check up on Nebula here.” She smiles and kisses Nebula’s cheek softly.

Nebula smiles and nods from the kiss to his cheek, “Twilight was it,” he ask looking at Twilight who nods, “Princess Luna and Prince Lightning Hoof may not know it yet but they are fated to be together one to help with control of their magic while the other is there to offer love and support and to be there for them,” he looks out the window sighing, “I know Lighting Hoof doesn’t like to rule but his sister likes the role of Princess a lot and is following in their parent’s hoof-step’s while Lightning is still trying to figure out where he is meant to be.”

Twilight blinks looking at both Celestia and Nebula, “So what your saying is their fates have been decided together as lovers but Celestia and you were planning this from the start.”

Celestia shakes her head softly, “Twilight in the all the years that you have been my student you picked up on things that weren’t there but this is different ,” she smiles and sighs, “we have been planning this when Luna had come into her stride seeing as we always planned trips to each other’s kingdom bearing gifts and such but it was on one trip that both Lightning Hoof and Luna were flirting with each other daring the other to see who stole the first kiss first but they never did, to them it was a game played by them but it never went too far but we had to hold off the visit’s cause Lightning Hoof’s study’s had picked up and he was being trained to use his magic and it’s about the same time I started Luna’s studying while keeping in mind that she needed her friends which I forgot tonight so please forgive me for that and the state you found Luna in, Twilight.”

Twilight bows and smiles, “I do forgive you Princess, I just wish that we could make Luna happy she looked so upset when she lefted here.”

“I know Twilight but Luna needs time to sort her thoughts out.” Princess Celestia looks back out the window.

“Celestia if anyone can get through to Luna it’ll be Lightning Hoof,” Nebula smiles as he looks around for his saddle bags, “Umm where are my saddle bags Twilight.”

“Oh they are at the foot of the bed; Fluttershy had to remove them so that she could make sure you weren’t hurt anywhere else while she was patching you up.” Twilight points to the foot of the bed.

“Thank you Twilight,” Nebula smiles as he uses his magic to lift a letter out that he had gone over for Lightning Hoof so that he send, “I was going over this letter that Lightning had written for Luna,” he unrolls the letter as he clears his throat getting ready to read it

Dear Princess Luna,

I have enjoyed your letter’s very much and I can’t wait to meet you in person again it has been so long since our last visit together, I love hearing all the things you remember and learning. I too am learning new things and I wish to show them to you maybe even help you figure out a way to learn things alittle faster. I know it has been a month since my last letter but I did enjoy your latest letter it sounds like you’re learning a lot from Twilight Sparkle and her friends about friendship and from the looks of it love too.

Please remember that sometimes love can be misplaced or thrown away foolishly as I have had filly’s wanting me but I tell them that I’m not ready to settle down cause there is one I want to tell that I love them and I am trying to find out where I belong, even though my younger sister is trying to play match-maker with me. I have asked her to stop out of respect of my feelings though there is a fan group of filly’s and colts that haven’t got their cutie marks and I told them not to waste too much time with the group and to do what they wanted to, some are older than the new members of the group who have their cutie mark’s and only attend the group as members.

Please be safe and don’t let your feelings get in the way of what your eyes can see I trust you to be happy as I am when I see you.

Always Lightning Hoof

Twilight blinks as she brings hoof up and wipes away a tear she didn’t know had been there, “That letter was beautiful I didn’t know Lightning Hoof could put feeling into his words.”

Nebula smiles and nods, “That is true Twilight.”

Celestia smiles and giggles softly, “No wonder Luna loves reading his letter’s so much.”

Twilight looks to Celestia, “What do you mean, Princess.”

“What I mean Twilight is that she has his letter’s framed and on her walls she loves reading them each day. I have seen her drawing a love heart with her name and Lightning Hoof’s name in it but only once before tonight which I messed up horribly.” Celestia hangs her hand head looking at the floor.

Nebula seeing this smiles and lifts her head up with his hoof, “Celestia you had too much on your mind during the day right so it’s only natural to forget something that was planned beforehoof besides I don’t blame you and Twilight Sparkle has forgiven you.” He smiles.

Celestia sniff’s and nods slightly, “Your right Nebula I just wish I didn’t mess up tonight for Luna is all.”

“If anyone can clam Luna down it’ll be Lightning Hoof.” Nebula looks out the window from the bed hoping that Lightning Hoof will be able to help Luna.

At this moment Rainbow Dash walks in and nods her head to Princess Celestia who smiles and bows her head to Rainbow Dash, “Twilight, Fluttershy and Spike are going to head off back home and Spike wants the day off tomorrow seeing as we didn’t get much sleep and all.” She then looks to the Alicorn in bed.

Nebula could feel eyes on him as he looks around to see a pegasus, “Hello young flyer and thank for earlier.” He downs his head to Rainbow Dash.

“Umm your welcome and the name’s Rainbow Dash.” Rainbow Dash smiles stands proud.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you Rainbow Dash and I think saw your photo in the top up-coming flyers mag I think.” Nebula smiles softly.

At this Rainbow Dash blushes softly as Twilight smiles and kisses Rainbow Dash’s cheek softly and lovingly, “That she is and I think Spike can have the day off tomorrow seeing as we’ll all be sleeping in late given the time we have been staying up during the night which is beautiful.”
Celestia nods and smiles, “I will be able to raise the sun soon so I’ll get some sleep after I raise the sun,” she looks to Nebula, “and you aren’t getting out of bed until the doctors have come and given you a look over.”

Nebula groans softly, “I’m never getting out of bed until I’m better aren’t I Celestia.” He looks at her.

“No you’re not besides it was Lightning Hoof who asked me to keep a watch on you but once we know you are able to walk you going to be coming back to the palace with me where you’re going to get some much need rest for the night.” Celestia smiles.

Nebula nods and sighs, “Yes Tia.” He smiles using her nickname as Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash both look at each other and then to Celestia who was smiling.

“You still remember that nickname even after so long we have known each other.” Celestia smiles.

“You asked me to call you it when we are together Tia.” Nebula smiles and chuckles softly.

Elsewhere in the Everfree Forest and the old Castle of the sisters Lightning Hoof had managed to walk in and looks around the entrance making sure it was clear before walking in any farther as he follows the bust of magic that was coming from ahead of him, “Oh Luna please be ok.” He say’s worrying about her as he doesn’t know if she’ll lash out at him.

Luna was just standing in her old room her feeling’s a mixture of love and wanting and sadness as the one she wanted she couldn’t have, “We have been a foal why didn’t we see that Twilight Sparkle loves Rainbow Dash,” her eyes were glowing white, “we are the ones that love Twilight, not this zippy pony that stands where we should STAND.” She yells the last part out.

Lightning having made his way to the door looks in carefully and see’s Luna standing there, “Ummm Luna,” he calls out not sure if he should enter and comfort her, “I made sure your sister kepted an eye over my cousin and I came here myself.” He gulps.

Luna turns around and sees who it was, “WHO DARE’S DISTURP US.” She yells at the pony that had found her.

Lightning shudder’s and cringes at being yelled at, “Luna, it’s me Lightning Hoof.” He walks in through the door letting her see.

“LIGHTNING HOOF WHY DO YOU COME HERE DID OUR SISTER SEND YOU.” Luna yells even with her eye’s glowing white looking at him.

“No, Celestia is staying behind watching over Nebula and I came here by myself not to mention to help and to talk with you Luna, Princess of the night.” He bows deeply to her.

Luna blinks as she sees this as her magic start’s to die down slightly, “THEN WE ARE GUESSING THAT YOU ARE THE ONE THAT WE HAVE MEET BEFORE AND BEEN IN CONTACT WITH VIA OUR LETTERS.”

“Yes Luna I’m the one and the same, I was meant to meet up with my cousin Nebula so that we could teleport to Canterlot together to meet Celestia and you, Luna.” Lightning smile’s looking up to Luna from where he was bowed.

Luna stands where she was as she blinks looking at him as her eyes stop glowing white and return to normal as she looks at him as her magic was slowly coming back under her control, “Lightning Hoof can it, can it be really you?” She asks walking over to him.

Lightning Hoof nods and smiles standing back up looking back at her, “It is Luna and you have grown into a lovely mare that is as beautiful as the night itself is.” He smiles and steps forward towards Luna.

Luna smiles as a tear runs down her cheek as she can’t believe it was him and just how handsome Lightning Hoof had grown in to, “Please tell me I’m not dreaming Lightning Hoof.”

Lightning smiles and nods, “You’re not dreaming Luna and this might tell you you’re not.” He leans in and kisses her lips softly bring the game that they had played together to an end.

Luna blinks as her eyes go wide from the kiss before kissing back returning the kiss as she blushes softly not wanting the kiss to end as they both stand there.

Lightning breaks the kiss as he smiles looking at Luna, “Was that proof enough Luna.”

Luna blushes and opens her eyes as she looks away and giggles, “Yes that was proof enough, that this isn’t a dream but it has been way to long for us even though we wrote to each other over the years cause of studying and such. Yet why do I feel at ease knowing that I can’t love Twilight Sparkle just the same as Rainbow Dash loves her.”

Lightning chuckles and smile’s nuzzling her cheek, “It’s because you want Twilight Sparkle but she is spoken for right but we both aren’t spoken for Luna and I have something to tell you that I wanted to tell you in person.”

Luna returns the nuzzle before pulling back as she looks at Lightning, “What is it that you want to tell me in person Lightning.” She looks at him wondering what it could be.

Lightning smiles and nods looking at Luna, “I wanted to tell you that I love you from the first day I saw you but I couldn’t tell you right off the bat that I love you but now I can tell you that I do love you Luna and only you.” He smiles.

Luna blinks and smiles as she looks at him, “But if you love me and I love Twilight Sparkle and you why do I feel so upset and happy at the same time.” Luna sniffs and looks down.

Lightning smiles and gently lifts Luna’s head up with his hoof, “Luna the reason why you feel that way is because your feelings for Twilight Sparkle and me are the same its called love but love can be misplaced and I know my love for you isn’t misplaced but who has spoken for Twilight Sparkle or who does Twilight Sparkle love.” He asks.

Luna blinks and looks up at him, “Twilight Sparkle loves Rainbow Dash but they are a couple and I don’t want to ruin that.”

Lightning nods and smile’s, “Then be happy for her, Luna. If she and Rainbow Dash are happy together and love each other, then you can still love Twilight Sparkle as a friend knowing that she is happy and is well loved by Rainbow Dash.”

Luna blinks and frowns thinking it over as she sighs and walks closer to Lightning putting her head over the base of his neck, “I didn’t of think of that Lightning. How could I have not thought of that in the first place.”

Lightning smiles and puts his head at the base of Luna’s neck giving her a cuddle, “Shall we go back or you want to stay here and talk and plus Celestia is really worried about you Luna it was in her voice after you took off and I have feeling that she is sorry for forgetting about tonight and your friends.”

Luna sniffs and nods nuzzling Lightning’s neck a little more, “I want to stay with you for a while longer then we can go back I still have to set the moon.”

Lightning nods and nuzzles back softly, “As you wish Luna.”

Luna smiles and closes her eyes briefly before asking, “How is Nebula doing?”

Lightning smiles and chuckles softly, “Nebula is fine. Celestia is watching over him while I came here to make sure you’re ok.”

“My sister put you up too this.” Luna asked Lightning.

Lightning laughs and smile’s, “No dear Luna, Celestia didn’t put me up to this I put myself up to this. I just didn’t want to see you hurt or lash out.”

Luna sniffs and just breaks down crying as she lets it all out.

Lightning puts a leg around Luna and pulls her close he sits down pulling her down into a sitting position with him as he puts a wing around her, “Its ok Luna.”

Luna sniffs and allows herself to be held as she cries even though she starts to set the moon.

Back in Ponyville, Celestia and Nebula smile as they couldn’t feel the magic out-bust coming from Luna, “Guess you were right Nebula.” Celestia smiles and looks at the night sky before moving to the balcony as she starts to raise the sun.
Nebula smile’s and nods to Celestia, “So when do we hold the wedding for those two.”

Celestia blinks and smiles looking back to Nebula, “When they feel it is the right time and not beforehand.”

Nebula nods and lays back down in the bed sighing softly as a small groan escapes his lips from the pain he felt.

“That will teach you for flying alone and not waiting.” Celestia smiles hearing the groan from Nebula whom had closed his eyes and fallen asleep as she smiles drawing the shade’s closed so that they can both go to sleep for a bit.

Back at the Old sisters castle ruin’s Lightning Hoof was nudging Luna to her hoof’s, “Come on sleepily head we better get some sleep or we’ll stay up during the day besides I need to use my magic so that we can have some place to sleep.”

Luna nods and yawns before getting up as she looks at the morning sky, “Celestia brought her sun up which is good.” She tries to hide another yawn as she stands there.

“It is beautiful but not as beautiful as the night or the one that gives us the night.” Lightning smiles as he gets up shaking himself as he looks around before starting to use his magic to put wards up to keep the creature’s out during the day before starting to make a large tent appear for them to use as he too yawn’s.

“Now looks who tired.” Luna smiles seeing him yawn as she watch the large tent appear out of thin air.

“Yeah, yeah I’m just as tired as you are Luna, so let us retire for the day.” Lightning smile’s as he holds one flap of the tent open for Luna to go first.

Luna giggles and smiles, “Well, well a gentle stallion that knows his manners. Now I’m really in impressed,” She smiles and walks up to him before kissing his lips softly as she walks into the tent and blinks noticing that the tent was made for two but had one bed in the middle, “umm not to be rude or anything but are we both sleeping on the same bed.”

Lightning smiles and walks into the tent after Luna letting the flap close behind him, “Yes besides it’s a cloud bed so it’ll hold us both and we can get a good day’s sleep in too,” He smiles and nudge’s Luna softly, “now come on let’s get some sleep you need it most then me Luna cause you have to raise the moon tonight.”

Luna smile’s and feels him nudge her to the bed softly, “Ok, ok but no funny stuff or I’ll clip your wings.”

Lightning looks at her with his eyes wide at the mention of having his wings clipped, “Not my wings I need my wings to fly during your beautiful night Luna.”

Luna giggles and smiles, “I’m teasing you but I will do it to get my point across if I have too.”
“I understand Luna.” Lightning sighs, *If making her happy is what it takes then who I am to say no.* he thinks to himself as he moves things around with his magic so that when they do wake they aren’t tripping over things.

Luna smiles and walks to the bedroom part of the tent as she blinks seeing the bed, “OH MY GOD.” She yell’s out before admiring the bed.

Lightning looks in and blinks, “Why you yell for Luna you made me jump.” He walks in as the object he was moving had indeed dropped on his back but thankfully it wasn’t very hard to hurt.

“It’s just I never seen a cloud bed up close,” Luna looks to Lightning over her shoulder, “please tell me it is everything they say in the ad’s that I have read.” She looks to him wondering if the cloud bed was soft and able to support any pony.

Lightning smile’s and nods as he walks up next to Luna and kisses her cheek, “It is and I had the double cloud bed put into the tent just so you don’t wake up alone in the middle of the day from a bad dream.”

Luna smiles and nuzzles him, “Screw the no doing anything funny rule I want to test just how good these things are.”

“Umm Luna am I guessing what your thinking is that you want a roll in the hay or a good romp in the hay.” Lightning asked.

Luna smiles and nods to what he said, “Let’s just say that we have a whole lot of catching up to do and I want to start right now.”

Lightning gulps and nuzzles Luna softly, “I umm I’m not sure that is a good idea after all we wouldn’t want to fall asleep during your night time Luna.” He looks at her.

Luna smiles and walks around him, “Hmm you could be right,” she puts her hoofs over his back as she starts to smooth out his coat, “but alittle fun before sleep could tire us out alittle more.”

Lightning gulps again before moving out from under Luna’s hoofs, “Aren’t we moving alittle too fast here Luna.” He turns around in front of the bed looking at her.

“Oh no, we aren’t, it was you after all who ended our steal the first kiss game and now I have a new game to play.” Luna smiles and crouch’s down alittle before pouncing him onto the cloud
bed.

Lightning rear’s up trying to get out of the way but only to be pounced onto the cloud bed where Luna was laying on top of him keeping him pin to the cloud bed, “So what is the new game Luna.”

Luna smiles and puts a hoof tip to his lips, “Be still thy tongue and wait for when we wake then I’ll tell you what the new game is but only when we wake,” She remove’s her hoof tip and kisses his lips softly, “for now we sleep my handsome stallion.” She smiles and lays her head down next to his smiling as she keeps him pin to the bed.

Lightning nods and smiles as he doesn’t want to argue with Luna as he yawns before closing his eyes, “Promise me we will talk before we leave here, ok.” He asks Luna.

Luna smiles and nods softly, “I promise we will talk when we wake.”

Lightning smiles and puts a foreleg around Luna before folding his wing’s around her, “Sleep tight you lovely moon maiden.”

Luna hearing this giggles and smiles, “Mmmmm Moon Maiden that is a new one and I’ll let you call me that when no pony is around.” She smiles slipping off to sleep.

Lightning nuzzles Luna’s neck softly and slipping off to sleep during the day.

Back in Ponyville Nebula was sleeping soundly even though Celestia was napping with her head on the bed as Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash were sleeping on the other bed in the next room.

Celestia was starting to wake slowly as three hours had passed.

Nebula groans as he tried to stretch his wings gasping loudly in pain.

Celestia snaps her eyes open and lift’s her head looking to Nebula as she sighs, “What did I tell before we fallen asleep?” She asked him.

“Not to try and move my wings or anything else.” Nebula groans as he shudders from the pain a reminder not to that again.

Celestia nods and smile’s as she stretches and gets up before looking out the window and towards the Everfree Forest.

Nebula looks at Celestia in all her beauty and grace, “Your worried aren’t you, Celestia.”

Celestia looks to Nebula and nods, “I am just alittle worried about my sister, I just hope she can forgive me for forgetting about the slumber party Twilight Sparkle and her friends had planned for her.”

“I’m sure she will, just give her time is all,” Nebula smiles and looks around, “besides I am not leaving this bed until doctor ponies have gone over me and such.”

Celestia nods and smiles, “Good now I’m going to see if one or all three of them can come and don’t even think about getting out of bed.”
“Trust me I not thinking of getting out of bed at all seeing as my body now ache’s all over when I went to go to stretch.” Nebula smile’s and lay’s still in bed.

“Good, now I’m going to see if Twilight and Rainbow Dash are up for some breakfast.” Celestia walks over to the door.

“Umm before you do can we talk about rewarding both Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash along with Fluttershy and Spike, was it.”

Celestia stops and blinks before looking back to Nebula, “Oh and what about Luna and what reward.”

“Luna has her reward in Lightning Hoof right; besides I was thinking off letting Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle become alicorn’s and Fluttershy could live as long as a dragon could.” Nebula smiles.

Celestia thinks and frowns, “Hmmm but then Twilight will have to teach Rainbow Dash how to use magic right.”

Nebular nods softly, “True but Twilight will need to learn to fly hence Rainbow Dash teaching her to fly.”

“They are made for each other but what about their jobs.” Celestia sighs as she was still thinking.

“They‘ll be fine just remember they love each other deeply right, so this would be just another road for them to take besides they’ll have each other and the magic they’ll learn afterward will be advance magic when they grow which means Rainbow Dash will be at the same level of magic as Twilight right.” Nebula looks at the door hoping that both Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle weren’t hearing on the other side.

Celestia nods, “True and you do make a point but the reward will have to wait until you’re healed and rested.”

“Ok, ok I agree.” Nebula sighs and smiles as he lowers his head and closes his eyes as his horn glows focusing on a healing spell that could heal him but will leave him feeling alittle weak.

Celestia blinks as she picks up on the spell, “Nebula no don’t you dare do that spell not in your state.”

“Celestia I have too besides it’s only my legs and body I want to take the strain off my legs and hoofs.” Nebula tells her as his spell cover’s his body and legs but not his wing’s as the spell starts to heal his wounds.

Celestia watch’s the light-blue hue of the healing spelling noticing his wings weren’t covered as he kept his word.

Nebula lets the spell keep going healing his cuts and wounds and bones as he doesn’t break the spell before letting it disappear by itself as he stops casting it which leaves him panting hard, “One drawback on the healing magic is that it leaves one drain even though I didn’t use the spell fully it is draining work.”

Celestia nods as she watch’s him sway alittle, “You going to be ok?” she looks at him concern.

“Y-yeah just need alittle time to recover?” Nebula says before falling forward.

Celestia sees this and uses her magic to steady him before starting to widen the bed so that she can place him laying down on his belly and not his side.

Twilight Sparkle who was down stairs yawning before she felt the magic energy from in her room blinks and runs up the stairs and opens the door to her main room stopping, “Celestia is he ok?” she ask alittle worried.

Celestia giggles and smiles, “Twilight Sparkle how many times have I asked you to call me Tia and to answer your question yes he is fine, just drained from using a healing spell on his body to heal his cut and wounds but not his wings.”

“More time’s then I can remember Tia,” Twilight blinks, “wait what healing spell and besides if he knew the spell why didn’t he heal his wings too.”

Celestia smiles and nods slightly as the bed was wide enough for him to lay on him before using her magic to move him into a more comfortable position, “Twilight if he used it on his wings it would hurt a lot more then healing his wounds and cuts.”

Rainbow Dash who was up nuzzles Twilight after reaching the top of the stairs and walking in on what was happening, “Listen to Tia, Twi besides I should know how it feels learning to fly again seeing as I injured my wing during one of my training season’s with the Wonder Bolts, I was bed ridden for a whole week and could only watch.”

Twilight blinks before nuzzling Rainbow Dash back, “Ok, ok but your injury only kept you bed ridden Dashie and his isn’t the same as your injury remember Fluttershy said he broke both his wings so we don’t know how much of his wings are broken.”

Rainbow Dash nods, “I know Twi besides he will be able to walk right but he’ll need to learn to fly all over again is what I’m saying besides I had to learn to fly again anyway and that took me a good two weeks.”

“Ok, ok but that spell he used just now would come in handy right Celestia?” Twilight ask her teacher.

“It would Twilight but as you can see it leaves one drain and tired just like Nebula here is drain,” Celestia looks out the window thinking, “no that type of healing spell is meant for the user Twilight not to use on another pony but you’ll have to have study on how to do that spell and that will take years not months that is why I’m asking you not to learn that spell no matter the coast I can’t stand to lose my favorite student or her mate in learning that spell.”

“Ok Celestia I won’t learn that spell but I was only asking seeing as many pony’s do end up in wheel-chair’s or having to have a fake limb to work with.” Twilight looks at Nebula sighing softly wondering if there is an easier healing spell to learn.

“I Know Twilight that is why any unicorn except you will be able to learn it if they take up being doctor’s or nurse’s but they will have to learn how to heal wings slowly.” Celestia looks at her student.

“Yes princess, I won’t enroll but I do have a question how will you and Nebula get back to Canterlot if he can’t fly?” Twilight ask looking at Nebula who was sleeping.

“Don’t worry I made sure the guards send the carriage to take us back,” Celestia looks to Twilight and Rainbow Dash, “and that little letter about you wanting to be Scootaloo’s guardian Rainbow Dash think your still up for it seeing as you’ll both be busy later on.” Celestia smiles.

Rainbow Dash nods, “Yes even if I’m going to be busy I still want to be her guardian I don’t want to see her get into trouble and start hanging out with Billy’s own boys and their gang I just wouldn’t be able to live with myself if that happen.”

Nebula nuzzles the bedding as he mumble’s something about noble which makes Rainbow Dash blush deeply.

“Looks like I can sign off on this then, “ Celestia smiles pulling something out of her mane which makes Twilight blinks watching, “now Rainbow Dash in signing this your signing it to be Scootaloo’s guardian and I also need Twilight Sparkle to sign off on this document too seeing as she is your life partner.” Celestia unrolls the document with her magic holding it up for Twilight to read along with Rainbow Dash who nods her head.

“Wait I’m to sign as well but the library isn’t ready for someone else to move in not to mention we’ll have to make sure the spare room is decked out for her and such.” Twilight looks to Celestia even as Rainbow Dash puts a hoof on her shoulder.

“Twilight if it wasn’t for you and that walking on clouds spell when you came to see me in the hospital and gave me books to read I would’ve been out of my mind trying to get out of there as quick as I can and back to training,” Rainbow Dash smiles even as Twilight looks at her, “I trust you and besides Scootaloo looks up to both of us she thinks your cool and awesome and remember that one time you brang her up to see me and show her I was okay she didn’t leave your side cause she knew I had someone to look after me and to make sure I wasn’t going mad out of my mind either.”

Twilight sighs and smiles remembering telling Scootaloo to stay by her side when visiting Rainbow Dash in hospital in Cloudsdale, “Ok Rainbow Dash seeing as you talked me into it.” Twilight sighs again before signing the document to be one of Scootaloo’s guardian’s while Rainbow Dash signs the document too.

Celestia nods and smiles as she roll’s up the document and hides it in her mane again, “Now that is out of the way, I need someone to go and get the doctor’s mainly two will do and one to cook breakfast and if one does go to the doctor’s tell them that there will be breakfast still.”

Rainbow Dash nods volunteering to go get the doctor’s before kissing Twilight’s cheek lovingly whispering a thank you to her one true love before going back down stairs and opening the front door as takes off to the Ponyville’s hospital to get the doctor’s.

Twilight nods and smiles as she was still blushing from the kiss to her cheek and the whispered thank you from Rainbow Dash, “Anything else I can get for you or Nebula.”

Celestia smiles, “No Twilight nothing for now besides breakfast would be enough and I’ll help seeing as Nebula isn’t going anywhere.” She smiles before locking the window with her magic to make sure Nebula wouldn’t escape that way.

Twilight nods and leads the way to the kitchen so that Celestia and her can get started on making breakfast.

Rainbow Dash arrives back with an earth pony doctor and a pegasus doctor who were a married couple as Rainbow Dash leads them into the kitchen where breakfast was waiting with Celestia giving Twilight a few pointer’s on how to make a good breakfast for more than three ponies.

Both Dr. Goodwin and Dr. Wingflight nod to Celestia in greeting before smiling as they look to Twilight Sparkle and nod, “Congrats in taking Scootaloo in Mrs Sparkle, Mrs. Dash here was happy to tell us about it and we’ll let you both work out when you can bring her in and we’ll keep it a secret until your both ready to come out about it.” Dr. Wingflight smiles and nods.

“Morning Dr. Goodwin and Dr. Wingflight, I trust you had a pleasant flight over here and weren’t getting asked about what should be in a young filly’s room.” Celestia smiles.

“We weren’t asked about much, Princess just what should be done to make sure the young filly is taken care off in case of something happening and both can’t make it until later to pick her up.” Dr. Wingflight smiles.

“That is good to hear and I have your next pony upstairs recovering in bed but you must be hungry being brought here so early.” Celestia nods to the kitchen table that had toast along with jam’s and daffodil sandwiches and Granny Smith’s Zap Apple Jam which is always a hit.

Both Goodwin and Wingflight nod and smiles before everyone takes their seat and starts to eat the belated breakfast as Celestia tells them of another alicorn upstairs resting after he used healing magic on his wounds and cut’s leaving him tired and warned out but tells them he didn’t heal his wings.

Wingflight nods, “Good cause healing wings and bone isn’t easy but if anything and what you have told us about Fluttershy making sure his wings are set and not moving is a good thing it’ll make things easier to set the bone and to clean up the small cuts he may have on his wings.” as Dr. Goodwin nods in agreement with her husband.

“I just hope we can move him to the hospital so that we can tend to his wings quickly did he move his wings in any way.” Dr. Goodwin asks looking to Celestia.

“He did just only a little before the pain ran though his body,” Celestia takes a bite out of the toast with the Zap Apple jam on it and closes her eyes just enjoying the taste, “Twilight remind me to send Granny Smith an order for her Zap Apple jam I may need a 100 jars of this wonderful jam.”

“I will Celestia but the next harvest isn’t until next year for the Zap Apple’s.” Twilight nods and smiles wondering if she and Rainbow Dash will be going to collect Scootaloo after everyone has lefted.

Dr. Good Flight nods, “That should teach him to listen and not move his wing’s until they have healed which reminds me we still need to look him over and judge if his wings need to be operated on to set the bone.”

Rainbow Dash nod’s knowing all too well what was being said by both doctor’s as she was sitting closer to Twilight draping a wing over her lover’s back lovingly as Twilight kisses Rainbow Dash’s cheek lovingly.

Celestia sees this and smiles knowing that Nebula was right about those two teaching each other but she couldn’t help but feeling something was off or was going to happen down the road for those two.

Dr. Wingflight clears his throat, “Can we see the injured Alicorn please.” Dr. Goodwin nods in agreement as they had finished eating their breakfast and wanted to get onto what they were here for.

“Of course he is just upstairs in the room with the open door,” Celestia nods, “he should be still asleep if not I’ll bring him some breakfast after you have both gone and please tell me what needs to be done and I’ll make sure he won’t do any flying.”

“Good then we’ll look him over and Ms. Sparkle, thank you the lovely breakfast and that Zap Apple Jam is wonderful.” Dr. Goodwin smiles as she leads the way up the stairs to see the alicorn with Dr. Good Flight flowing her.

“Rainbow Dash can I ask, why you brought those two here.” Celestia looks to Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash looks down and smiles, “I meet them when I was in the hospital and they were the ones that helped set-up my lesson’s on learning to fly again,” she looks to Celestia, “not to mention they are cool cause they spend their time helping others with wing injury’s along with filly’s and clots who want to learn first aid for pegasus pony’s or anyone else.”

Twilight nods and smiles, “I even meet them and they were a big help with what I had to do in making sure Rainbow Dash’s wing was not being used but was getting stretched slowly to improve its strength again.”

“Ok Twilight I was only asking is all besides I think we need to clean the breakfast dishes that we used.” Celestia smiles.

“I’ll do that Celestia please you go and see what you can do to help.” Twilight smiles as she uses her magic to move the dish’s from the table to the sink to be washed.

Celestia nods teleporting upstairs to help out with the doctor’s hoping that nothing would happen between Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle.

Doctor’s Goodwin and Good Flight were examining Nebula’s wings even as Nebula winch’s slightly.

“Well he won’t have any long last injury to his wings.” Dr. Good Flight nods noticing the binding and the splints that were used.

Dr. Goodwin nods and smiles as she cheeks him over to make sure, “Now Celestia said something about a healing spell, not that I’m saying I don’t like it but I must say this I have never seen a healing spell that has healed not only cuts and bruises but even small bone injury’s too.”

Nebula groans from Dr. Goodwin’s hoof’s prodding at his side, “Hey doc that tickles alittle.” He yawns slowly opens his eyes.

Dr. Goodwin smiles and nods, “Well at least someone is awake but you won’t be able to fly for a few days to a week.”

Nebular turns his head and looks at her, “Wait what, what you do mean a few days to a week with not being able to fly.”

Dr. Good Flight sighs and shakes his head, “What it means is that even if your wings do heal in a few days you’ll have to get use to flying again and that take’s time.”

Nebular looks to his other side and sees another pegasus standing there before sighing, “Okay, okay I won’t do anything for a week but I don’t have to like right.”

“Hmmm an Alicorn with a sense of humor is always good at least he we’ll have a place to stay I’m guessing.” Dr. Goodwin looks to Celestia who only nods as Dr. Goodwin smiles and walks around to her husband.

“We’ll be going now Princess Celestia and please do bring him around to the hospital so that we can see if his wings have healed but we’ll need to make sure that his wings do heal.” Dr. Good Flight smile’s and nods pointing to his bag that he brought along.

Celestia nods and uses her magic to bring Dr. Good Flight’s bag to him, “I will but how long do you think he’ll be grounded for.”

Dr. Goodwin smiles and nods, “He should only be grounded for a few days to four days max he if doesn’t move his wings.”

Nebular blinks and looks to Celestia as she nods, “I’ll make sure he move his wings besides he does I’ll make sure you can ground him until he is fit to fly.” She smiles and winks to Nebular.

Both the doctor Pegasus’s nod and smile, “Good now make sure he doesn’t move his wings even he stretch’s them it’ll cause more pain then help with healing them.” Dr. Good Flight nods and bows his head to the Princess as does his wife showing their respect to her.

“Celestia any news on your sister, Luna is she does an appoint night with the royal doctor’s and such.” Dr. Goodwin smile’s looking to Celestia.

“I’ll let her know and I don’t know where Luna is,” she sighs and looks down, “we kinda had fight as I had forgot about what was plan in advance for last night.” Celestia looks to Twilight who only smiles.

“Celestia don’t blame yourself besides you’re forgiven by Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash for what happen and like I said just give Luna time,” Nebular smiles and sighs, “I’m sure Lightning Hoof is keeping her safe during the day and knowing him, like I do, he won’t let nothing hurt her.”

Celestia looks to Nebular and nods her head, “Ok Nebular I’ll trust your judgment on this.”

“Good now if you’ll excuse us we must get back to our duties at the hospital.” Dr. Good Flight smiles.

“Yes and thank you again,” Twilight smiles and nods her head, “please use the balcony if you want it’s the most easiest way to take to the sky for any pony that fly,” She points to the balcony, “seeing as I know Rainbow Dash here uses it to take off and land after she finishes work.”

Rainbow blushes slightly and smiles.

“Thank you Mrs. Sparkle and do keep us up to date on when you do want to set an appointment.” Dr. Goodwin says before leaving with her husband.

In the Eeverfree Forest at the ruins of the old pony sister’s, Luna and Lightning were asleep in the tent he had magical made appear for them to sleep in as Lightning’s wings were still around Luna.

As Luna sleeps her dreams start to take on a darker side as Nightmare Moon shows up in her dream and chase’s her in her dream.

“Foal where do you think you’re going,” Nightmare Moon yells as she gives chase following Luna, “I’m you and you are me we are two and the same little foal.” She laughs loudly.

“No get away from me. You’re the darkness I was freed from by Twilight Sparkle and her friends I don’t need you anymore.” Luna screams back at Nightmare Moon as she runs before taking flight as she tries to wake up in the real world.

“Sorry little foal but here your mine,” Nightmare Moon Laughs before using her own magic and stopping Luna from flying in her dream, “now you’re going to listen to what I have to say and you’re going to listen well cause it concerns us both and I know about the stallion whose wings you’re in too.” She smiles.

“How do you know about Lightning you haven’t seen him besides you’re not a part of me anymore.” Luna screams trying to get free of the magical bonds that Nightmare Moon had her in.

“I can still see and hear and I’m tucked away in your mind it’s something that happens and right now that isn’t the point my dear little Luna,” Nightmare Moon chuckles and walks around Luna, “I know for a fact you love him deeply and you were glad he came here to the old ruins of our past. You have waited for someone like him to come along even when you were young and your sister was getting asked by all those clots and stallions we have seen.”

Luna looks at Nightmare Moon knowing what she heard was true as she looks away even as Nightmare Moon chuckles, “So what if he is the one, I don’t need you to tell me who I can love and not to love.”

“Oh you little lost foal I’m not telling you who you can love or not.” Nightmare Moon smiles widely.
“You aren’t.” Luna looks at her former self as she watch’s Nightmare Moon.

“No I’m not, he is a fine catch and one that can bring balance to us not to mention provide strong little filly’s and clots for us to raise after all I want my own body seeing as I was born from your hatred at the attention your sister was getting not to mention the hatred against those that didn’t enjoy your night as they should’ve done.” Nightmare Moon stands proud in front of Luna and uses her mane to lift Luna’s head up.

“I didn’t know I swear I didn’t know. I made you made us like that.” Luna looks at Nightmare Moon.

“Believe it little foal besides give some of my power to Lightning we need him to protect us later on even if you do make love together. Know that in your heart that you love him and nothing can change what you feel about him,” Nightmare Moon sighs and looks at the dream’s scape sky, “I miss seeing the sky but with us bring trapped in the moon for 1000 years all we could think off was making the night last forever and getting back at Celestia for doing that to us.”

Luna nods before she looks at the dream scape sky, “If I give Lightning a bit of your power aren’t you scare of what might happen if the power I give him takes over him cause I know I am and I don’t want to lose him.”

Nightmare Moon and makes the magical bonds disappear, “I am as well but you’ll be there for him along the way,” She smiles and looks at Luna, “I know you love him and I would be proud to call him dad. Even if he does have some of my power and you Luna I would call you mother but please don’t name me Nightmare Moon if I am reborn I want to be called another name when the day comes.” She smiles before disappearing from the dream.

Luna wakes up and gasps loudly as she leans up Lightning’s wings fall from around her and lay wide open on either side of him as she looks around blinking, “Ok was that a dream or something else or even a warning,” she looks around again trying to see if she can find Nightmare Moon before her eyes look at Lightning who was sleep peacefully, “well Nightmare Moon was right about one thing he is handsome and I’m glad he came here too. I don’t know what I would’ve done if he haven’t.”

Lightning stretch’s his wings as he doesn’t wake up even as Luna watch’s him she smiles and sighs softly.

*Hmmm I don’t know if what Nightmare Moon said was true about giving him some of her power but I can try.* Luna thinks as her eyes take on a white glow before her horn starts to glow with her aurora before she kisses his lips as Nightmare Moon’s power starts to seep into him though his mouth as she lays back down on top of him wanting to feel his warmth against her again. She breaks the kiss some of Nightmare Moon’s power starts to course with him as Luna lays her down on his shoulder.

Lightning shudders as his eyes snap open glowing an electric blue as the white socks with the small lightning bolts arching up on each of his hoofs glow the some electric blue before it fades away as he goes back to sleep while his wings fold back over Luna, “Thank you Luna.” Nightmare Moon’s voice escapes his lips even as Luna’s eyes snap open and look at him as she heard Nightmare Moon’s voice coming from him as they both go back to sleep.

Back in Ponyville Celestia was talking with Twilight Sparkle before she shudder’s hard, “That isn’t good.” She frowns wondering what the shudder was.

Twilight having seen her mentor shudder hard looks worried, “Celestia what is it?” she ask her old teacher.
“Something I don’t know Twilight but I have a bad feeling about something that shouldn’t have happen but I don’t know what it is. I might need to look something up when I get back to Canterlot with Nebula who’ll be in a room and not flying.” Celestia smiles looking at him even as Nebula gulps and nods.

Twilight nods and smiles knowing her teacher would be studying up on something, “Can I ask if you need any help Tia.”
Celestia smiles and shakes her head, “Sadly Twilight this is something that I need to do myself because I don’t know what happen or even if Nightmare Moon is coming back. I don’t know it’s not like before I sent you to Ponyville to check up on the Summer Sun celebration when you told me about Nightmare Moon coming back.”

Twilight nods and smiles, “Ok Tia but can I ask as to why you sent me to Ponyville even though the note you sent me said to make some friends.”

Celestia smiles and giggles softly, “Because you’re not the only one who saw that Sonic Rainboom when you were taking your entrance exam.” She smiles and looks to Nebula.

Twilight blinks and smiles, “Now that you mention it Rainbow Dash did tell how she got her cutie-mark but then you must’ve known I would meet her and the rest.”

Celestia nods and smiles, “That is true Twilight besides I knew you would work it out and believe in your new friends and like you said each of them represent the element they are.”

Nebula yawns and shakes himself as he looks between them before sighing, “Can we please get going Celestia I would really like to talk to you in private and away from those that don’t know what I have to tell you or will over hear what their reward will be.”
Twilight blinks and looks at Nebula as she blushes, “I wonder if Rainbow Dash is back with Scootaloo yet.” She smiles and turns to leave leaving Celestia and Nebula alone.

Celestia looks at Nebula and frowns, “You could’ve asked Twilight to leave the room politely Nebula.”
“Easy Celestia besides I did ask politely cause I don’t want Twilight to see or know what her reward would be right cause she’ll would tell Rainbow Dash and then they’ll tell their friends we can’t them wanting the same reward.” Nebula smiles knowing that Twilight picked up on he was asking.

Celestia sighs and nods, “Okay, okay but when we get back to Canterlot castle you’re going to be shown to the guest room and you’re not allowed to fly remember doctor’s orders,” She smiles and lets her horn glow as a signal lights up back at Canterlot castle to send the chariot to pick her up and her guest, “and no funny business on the way back to the castle I rather not have to explain why the chariot is in a mess on the inside.”

“Celestia I’m hurt by that last part and besides I would never do anything funny unless the mare in question is in agreement with what is asked of her of course.” Nebula smiles and slowly gets up as he gets up of the bed as he test his hoof’s on the floor before walking around as he nods before heading down stairs.

Rainbow Dash was chatting with Twilight even as Scootaloo was sitting between as both of them. Twilight and Rainbow had a hoof on Scootaloo’s shoulders, “Welcome to your new home Scootaloo.” Twilight smiles.

“Thank you both I don’t know what to say but wow.” Scootaloo smiles and kisses both Rainbow Dash’s and Twilight’s cheek as both hug her lovingly.

Nebula smiles as he reaches the bottom step and looks at the three, “At least there is happiness in the world still,” He smiles and nods in greeting to the little filly, “Hello little one I’m prince Nebula of Sunnydale.” He smiles and bows to the young filly.

“Oh wow a real live prince,” Scootaloo dashes from her new adopted family’s arms and walks around him, “umm are you here to ask Princess Celestia to marry or are you here court her before you pop the question.”

Nebula blinks and chuckles, “Sadly little one I didn’t get your name and no I’m here to watch over something else and to talk about trade routes with both Princess Celestia and the one that makes those wonderful dress’s for the Grand Galloping Gala each year,” he smiles and leans his head as he nuzzles the little filly, “besides I would love to stick around and get to know a filly like yourself but alas you’re alittle young for me. You have much to learn and two who are willing to teach you,” he smiles and sees her blank flank, “you could be famous and well know flyer or you could be the smartess pegasus around.”

Scootaloo’s eyes widen, “Oh wow trade routes and such that would be awesome and I’m Scootaloo it’s a pleasure to meet you.” She smiles and returns the nuzzle as she blushes at her said.

“Twilight, Rainbow Dash I trust you both to raise this filly with love and care I hope to see her fly one day who knows I may need the greatest flyer or the two greatest flyer in Equestria to help out with the trade route,” Nebula smiles and gets up rubbing Scootaloo’s hair softly, “a pleasure to meet you Scootaloo.” He smiles and nods to her as she giggles before dashing back to Rainbow Dash and Twilight.

“We will Nebula and have a safe trip to Canterlot.” Twilight smiles as Celestia had seen what had happen.

Nebula nods and smiles before opening the door with his magic and walking out as his looks around.

Celestia smiles and nods to the three of them who nod back and smiles as Scootaloo hugs both Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash as she can’t believe she is now still part of a family.

“Nebula,” Celestia ask as she joins him outside and smiles, “I think Scootaloo may have a crush on you.”

Nebula blinks and looks to Celestia as he shakes his head, “I don’t know what you mean Celestia.”

Celestia giggles and smiles, “I think from what you said to her she might try her hardest to learn to fly and to study so that she can be what she wants also judging from that nuzzle you both shared even though you gave it as friendly gesture,” Celestia smiles and watch’s the sky, “even though she is young I think you got to her by saying she could be the greatest flyer or the smartess pegasus ever, she may even try and fly to Sunnydale one day just to see you.”

Nebula blinks as what Celestia sinks as his eyes turn to pin pricks, “Oh god.” He face hoofs even as Celestia giggles as he knows what that means for later, “Why didn’t you stop me Celestia?”

“Why I didn’t stop you is because I may ask you something later and seeing you interact with Scootaloo was good. She needed someone else to look up too besides Rainbow Dash who she wants to be like but I think what you said opened her eyes to something more.”

Nebula sighs and looks down, *Great what I have done, I may have given a young filly the feeling that I love her but why do I feel bad and good about it at the same time I know it’s wrong but why do I look forward on seeing her fly and then seeing what she can do.* He thinks to himself even as the chariot made its way to Ponyville’s Library for both Celestia and Nebula to ride in.

Back inside the library Scootaloo was bouncing around both Rainbow Dash and Twilight, “I want to be the best flyer and smartness pegasus,” she sings out, “I want to be both I wonder what my cutie mark would be like if I was both.” She settles down and smiles daydreaming about her cutie mark.

“Guess meeting Nebula was good for her also besides why would you want to be both Scootaloo you could great as the greatest flyer even make the Wonderbolts someday.” Twilight smile’s watching Scootaloo.

“Yeah Scootaloo that would be awesome wouldn’t it, you’ll be able to fly with the best going places where others dared to go even me think of it squirt you would be flying with the best of the best.” Rainbow Dash smiles and ruffles her daughter’s mane.
Scootaloo smiles and blushes as her mane was ruffle, “Aww but mom I want to fly to Sunnydale. I want to see what Nebula’s kingdom is like besides he did say two of the greatest flyers right, I want to be one of those two.” She smiles.

Both Rainbow Dash and Twilight look at Scootaloo, “Umm sweetie you’ll need to learn how to fly and you need to improve your grades not to mention have time to chill out with your friends and such.” Twilight looks at Scootaloo and sighs smiling softly.

“I know that’s why I want to get started right now,” Scootaloo jumps up and bounces around Twilight, “come on teach me please you said I need to improve my grades and you’re the smartest unicorn in Ponyville. I want to learn to fly once my grades have improve I want to get into the Cloud’s Dale school of flying.”

Twilight and Rainbow Dash look at each and sighs, “Guess we bitten off more than we could chew.” Twilight sighs and looks at Scootaloo wondering if they did.

“It can’t be helped now besides I know you’ll know fine helping her to improve her grades and I can help train here on how to fly and,” Rainbow Dash looks at Scootaloo, “not to do tricks until she has training and experience in flying.” She glares at Scootaloo.

Scootaloo stops bounce and looks at her new mothers, “Yes momma Dash, I’ll listen to you and momma Twilight too.” She hangs her down and walks back over to them.

“Good now what homework do you have, so that we can get it done and you can learn.” Twilight smiles as she use her magic to clear a work space for Scootaloo who had gone to get her bag from the front door as she dashes back to the table that Twilight cleared.

“Ready to get started.” She smiles and sits on the chair as she lays out her homework on the table, *Can’t let them know I want to wait be able to fly Sunnydale and stay there, I want to join Nebula’s guard or maybe even live with him.* Scootaloo thinks to herself even as Twilight sits down next to her and looks at her new daughter’s homework as she starts to point out the problem with some of her daughter’s answer’s.

Outside Celestia and Nebula were waiting for the chariot as it pulls up ready for them as the board the chariot Celestia smiles even as Nebula lays down on one side as he closes his eyes to get in some rest.

Celestia smiles and watches laying on the other side of the chariot as it takes off, “Nebula can I ask for one favor before you leave at the end of the week.”

Nebula breaths deeply and smiles, “What’s that Celestia.” He mumbles as he dozes softly while wondering what is happening to his younger cousin at this moment.

Celestia smiles and leans across, “I want to have a foal but only if you’re alright with it seeing as it would bring our kingdoms together so that we can open trade routes between our kingdoms and open up more routes.” Celestia whispers into his ear even as his eyes snap open.

“Celestia I can’t. I see you as a sister; I don’t know what to feel if I did what you ask.” Nebula looks at Celestia as he thinks about her request knowing it open up trade route’s with Sunnydale kingdom and the kingdom of Equestria but also would mean he’ll have to make trips each week back and forth between kingdom’s if he did give Celestia what she wanted.
“Think it over besides just think of what I’m asking as something I want not for lavage over you.” Celestia smiles as she leans back and looks out the window.

“Ok I’ll think it over but if you use the foal as lavage over me, I’m taking the foal with me back to my kingdom.” Nebula sighs and looks at Celestia who nods.

“I expect no answer but that. I do expect you’re answer by the weeks end.” Celestia smiles and continues to look out the window.

Back at the sisters old castle Luna was resting again this time peacefully in the wings of Lightning even as Nightmare Moon appears in her dreams.

“I trust you Luna and I trust Lightning,” Nightmare moon smiles and lays down next to Luna in her dream, “I just hope Celestia fines him worthy of being the stallion you want.” She smiles and nuzzles Luna softly.

Luna returns the nuzzle, “What you said was true some off your power is now in Lightning but we must keep watch over him making sure that we can keep the power he was given in control. We need to make sure that we or should say I you can stop him if he loses control of the power.” She sighs as both were laying on a hill overlooking Ponyville as they remembered Ponyville being as it starts to change to show Nightmare Moon and Luna the changes that have happen over the 1000 years.

“Like I said Luna, I trust you completely to step in and stop Lightning if he loses control. He is after all you’re stallion not mine. Though if he was around 1000 years ago then he would’ve saved us both and we wouldn’t be trapped in the moon for a 1000 years.”

“That is true Nightmare Moon.” Luna giggles and smile’s as Ponyville starts to fill with more ponies and stores along with the Apple’s farm and such showing how the 1000 years had been good to Equestria and those living there.

“I wish we could go back so that we could have Lightning when we were getting bitter of our sister and the ponies enjoying her day and shunning our night.” Luna sighs and looks down over Ponyville.

Nightmare Moon puts a wing over Luna’s back and smiles, “It wouldn’t matter seeing as if he did go back in time to when we needed somepony like him to calm us down and comfort us we can’t send him back. It would rewrite history and Twilight and her friends wouldn’t be the bearers of the Elements of Harmony. We would upset the balance of history and nothing would be right. History is now set in stone and can’t be undone we must not meddle with time Luna,” Nightmare Moon looks to Luna, “if we do it would cause everything we know now to be in a separate time bubble where there will be no Lightning Hoof to calm us, we would run amuck and be banished into the moon again for another 1000 years.”

Luna nods and sighs sniffing, “I know but it would’ve been nice though, your right we can’t meddle with time not that far back it would cause more trouble than it would.” She sighs even she gets up as outside the dream world as it was nearing the afternoon.

Nebula and Celestia arrive at Canterlot castle just after midday as Celestia leads Nebula to the dining hall for lunch as both had a pleasant ride in the chariot even though Nebula was still thinking over what Celestia had asked him to do.

Celestia’s horn glows lightly as she sends a message to the kitchen’s to have lunch ready in about 15 minutes as they stop enter the dining hall, “Nebula can I ask you something about Lightning Hoof, please.”

Nebula nods and takes a sit at the table, “You may though I don’t know much about his training in magic and such that was lefted to those at his family’s castle.”

Celestia nods, “I just want to make sure about something before I look something up in the Canterlot Library,” she takes a seat across from Nebula, “is it possible for him to be given some power from say another that has that power and wants to do something with that said power.”

Nebula blinks and looks at Celestia, “Mmmm it could be possible but then they’ll have be either equal or more powerful than what he is unless it’s something that can be a whole different thing,” he looks at Celestia, “I know what you’re thinking Celestia cause I felt that too even though I was asleep I felt something strange and dark but with a hint of light and hope in that power that was passed to him, even though it was a small bit I think.” He frowns and yawns he had too much sleep and was hungry.

Celestia nods as she sighs, “I just hope Luna is going to be okay tonight I wish I had let her go to the sleepover that Twilight and her friends had planned then none of this wouldn’t have happen.”

“Celestia don’t blame yourself besides me and Lightning have fights and small spats about things and that which includes me flying alone at night,” Nebula smiles, “just look at my wings I can’t fly for a week and then it’s going to take another week to build up the strength to fly again.”

Celestia nods and smiles, “Which means we can walk around the castle grounds but also catch up on what’s happening but your right. I still feel bad for not letting Luna go to the sleepover.”

“Celestia how about just letting it go, your older then Luna is now let her have fun besides Lightning will be there with her every step of the way right.” Nebula smiles as the kitchen unicorns bring in lunch and setting both plates in front of Celestia and Nebula who was given more on his plate as he sniffs the plate of hay sandwiches along with hay fry’s and fruit and drinks.

“Mmmm this smell’s so good, I wonder if for dessert we could have cheesecake you know the one with zap apple jam on top I hear my kitchen staff wanting to get their hoofs on some so that they can make some wonderful deserts with the jam.” Nebula smiles and uses his magic to lift one sandwich up as he starts to eat nodding his thanks to the kitchen unicorns.
“We shall see Nebula but it depends on the harvest and I hear that it is soon. I must say that the Apple family have been working hard to have more than just a field done so there should be plenty when they harvest the zap apples.” Celestia smiles.

Nebula smiles and nods, “Remind me to visit them to help out with the harvest.” He smiles and keeps eating as he takes a sip of his water.

Celestia nods, “I will besides you are welcome to walk around the gardens and you can visit Canterlot too, I’m sure you would like to open up some trades with the business’s we have here.”

Nebula nods and smiles as he continues to eat his lunch thinking of the stores he was going to visit, “I think a walk around the gardens would be nice, also I heard that that Discord statue come to life is that true Celestia.”

Celestia blinks as she looks at Nebula, “How did you know that or better still how did you find out about that news, Nebula.”
“Oh Celestia one hears things not to mention the bazar weather that we had and I must say my kingdom and Lightning’s kingdom also had that bazar weather but we all waited and some of us fallen asleep which of course with the sun and moon were playing up and cause some damage to both kingdom’s.” Nebula looks at Celestia as he smiles more.

Celestia blinks and sighs looking down, “I guess you heard right then but I have removed that statue from the gardens and locked it away in a void. I don’t ever want Discord to break free, he locked my dear sister in crystal frozen in her sleep not to mention making sure I couldn’t step out of my room to go someplace.”

Nebula nods and smiles, “Celestia I’m not going to say anything besides who believe it anyway, that Discord broke free and because of something that happen in the gardens that long ago.” He smiles and finishes eating.
Celestia nods and smiles looking at him, “I just hope he doesn’t break free again.”

Nebula smiles and nods as he uses a napkin to wipe his muzzle, “Celestia can I request you meet me in the gardens by those white and red roses in the center of the rose garden,” He ask as he gets up, “I’ll have you’re answer for your request by then.”

Celestia nods and smiles as she continues to eat her lunch, “Okay Nebula but one thing I want to know is why tonight though.”

Nebula smiles and chuckles softly, “I will be thinking about my answer before I give you the answer you want.” He continues to eat his lunch.

“Okay Nebula just be careful when you go for your walk and I will be waiting for you at the place you requested.” Celestia smiles and finishes her lunch before drinking the last of cup of tea before getting up and walks around to him and kisses his cheek before going to tend to her royal duties as she flicks her tail towards him.

Nebula smile’s and chuckles even as he blushes slightly, *Still the minx you are Celestia and yet I want to ravage your body in bed but that will have to wait you little tease of an alicorn.* he chuckles and catch’s a good view of her plot and whistles softly so only that she could hear.

Celestia smiles and blushes deeply hearing the soft whistle, “Is that an invite Nebula.” She stops and turns her head to look at him.

“It could be but you have duties to tend too, Celestia and besides we’ll have tonight to talk and have fun.” Nebula smiles as he sips his water wondering if Celestia would do something right then and there.

“Hmm your right we do have tonight but I can see if I finish early so that we have more time.” Celestia giggles before going to tend too her duties.

Nebula chuckles and nods his head as he finishes his lunch before getting up as he goes to take his walk around Canterlot city.

In Ponyville Twilight was teaching Scootaloo math’s as she was helping with the filly’s homework as Scootaloo was actually paying attention to one of her new moms who was helping her learn at an easy pace that she could learn and study and not going off on some long talk going on about the problem.

“So you get it now Scootaloo.” Twilight ask as Scootaloo was taking note.

“I do now Twilight and thank you for helping me along with it.” Scootaloo hugs her second mom who hugs her back lovingly even as Rainbow Dash watch’s and sniff’s softly.

“Okay okay enough with the mashie stuff besides I need to take care of few things around Ponyville and then we can all head out for dinner ok,” Rainbow Dash smiles before walking up to her wife and daughter and hugging both of them to her lovingly, “Scootaloo your to help Twilight even after you have finished your homework. I need to work on you muscle build up so that when you get to flight school you can learn to fly and trust me your wing muscle’s need some building up.”

Scootaloo nods and smiles, “Yes momma Dash, I will help momma Twilight with what she needs,” Scootaloo smiles, “Oh I all most forgot what I’m going to tell Applebloom and Sweetie Bell.”

Both Rainbow Dash and Twilight look at each other and sigh softly, “That sweetie is up to you they are your friends as much as ours but you have spent so much time with them that I think they’ll be happy to know that you have a family and a home but no crusading in areas that can be harmful to you and area’s that will make us both worry about you.” Twilight smiles and nods to Rainbow Dash.

“Yeah otherwise I’m going to ground you from going to flight school young lady.” Rainbow Dash smiles as she starts to head out for her job.

“I won’t do anything more dangerous other than homework or studying.” Scootaloo promises as she kisses Twilights cheek softly who hugs her back.

“Ok then sweetie but what about getting your cutie mark.” Twilight ask wondering what her new daughter will do.
Scootaloo thinks and frowns, “Hmmm I guess I could wait for it and let it come naturally I guess but I don’t know about the other two though,” she sighs, “I just wish they got him then they could’ve hear what I heard from him,” she looks up to Twilight, “Nebula said something about me being one of the two best flyers and I want to prove to him I can be the best flyer he has seen.”

Rainbow Dash having been looking out the door twitch’s her ear at hearing what Scootaloo said, “Nebula did say one of the best Scoot so you’ll need training and you’re not going to be learning my stunts either when you’re strong enough to fly,” She smiles, “now I have to go but I’ll be back before dinner and stay out of trouble young lady or its no flight school for you for a year.” With that she takes off into the sky to start her weather patrol.

Scootaloo nods and gulps as she hugs Twilight and nuzzles her neck, “I don’t want to loss you both seeing as this day is the best day I have ever had in my life.”

Twilight smiles and nuzzles Scootaloo back lovingly as she looks at her hear daughter, *I can’t believe it. I have a daughter now, an adopted daughter but still a daughter I can be proud off I just hope Rainbow Dash doesn’t get grounded with no work around, though it would mean I can whip out that flight planner to keep her in the best shape and top form when work does pick up again like last time.* she thinks to herself as she was happy and content with this moment right now.
Rainbow Dash was flying around Ponyville as doing her weather jobs as Sweetie Bell and Apple Bloom call up to her as she smiles and looks down before landing in front of them both, “Hey girls what’s up.” She smiles.

“Rainbow Dash we were wondering where Scootaloo had gone cause we had cheeked where she was staying at.” Sweetie Bell ask even as Applebloom nods her head.

“Oh you didn’t hear she is with me and Twilight now but don’t say a word that you know ok cause she wants to tell you, oh and she is studying right now so I think you’ll have to see if she can come out and play, not mention we have two prince’s visiting but one I only meet for a bit before he went off to look for Luna but the other prince I have meet and had the pleasure to talk too so I don’t know if he’ll visit Ponyville again.” Rainbow Dash smiles and looks at her daughters friends.
“Two prince’s do you think they are here to court both princess Celestia and Luna.” Applebloom ask as she was bouncing up and down as she was bouncing around Rainbow Dash.

“Wow wow easy there squirt, I don’t even know if they are here to court one or both. I know one has broken his wings so he won’t be flying for a week, so we don’t know if he’ll visit Ponyville again,” Rainbow Dash smiles before looking up and nods as one pegasi points to another set of clouds that were coming in from the south, “I better get back to work and you two not a word about what I told you ok otherwise I might ask your sisters if its ok for Twilight to change one or both of you into clots for a week.” She smiles before taking off from the ground fast.

Both Sweetie Belle and Applebloom look at each other before gulping, “You don’t think Rainbow Dash was joking about she said.” Sweetie Belle asked Apple Bloom.

“Nah I think she was joking but any way lets go and see Scootaloo and see if she can come out to play.” Applebloom say’s as they head off for the town library.

Sweetie Belle nods and smiles, “Yeah that would be good then we can try for our cutie marks.” She follows after Applebloom who had taken off towards the library.

Back in the ruins of the two sisters Luna was tossing and turning in her sleep even as she was snuggled up to Lightning who was in a deep sleep as some of Nightmare Mare’s power courses though him.

In Luna’s dream she was battling a new enemy but one that she and Nightmare Moon hadn’t confront before as both were facing off against the very stallion that had come to them and clam them both down.

“We have never fought against someone like this,” Luna pants as even the stallion that was in front of them was changing color as red streaks were entering his mane, “I don’t know if I can hurt him Nightmare Moon he is someone I care for and have sworn to help protect the land with.”

Nightmare Moon nods and pants, “It’s like he knows what we are doing do before we even cast a spell at him.”

The stallion Alicorn laughs out loudly and steps forward as he eyes change to match Nightmare Moon’s eyes, “Foals like you need to be beaten so that you can both submit to me,” he laughs loudly as his horn glows, “now to see which one crack’s first under what they want the most, what is in your hearts,” he looks to Nightmare Moon, “that you want the most.” He then looks to Luna smiling.

Nightmare Moon and Luna look at each other before gulping as they look at him before whispering together as they try and figure out on how to defeat him.

Nightmare Moon sighs and looks at Luna shaking her as the plan was to charge full on, “It won’t work cause we tried that already beside we could try one thing that might snap him out but it would mean joining together to do it.”

Luna nods, “What’s the plan cause if we fail we loss him to the darkness altogether forever.”

Nightmare Moon nods and smiles, “If join together we can overpower him enough to break the darkness but it’ll be up to you to break it.”

Luna nods and smiles, “I’m ready.” She looks to Lightning who was changing more as electric blue lightning was filling the dream worlds sky as he continues to change.

“Mmmm such power I wonder why you both don’t embrace it, the power behind each spell is more than enough to protect Equestria from evil.” Lightning laughs as his coat changes to a midnight royal blue as his mane and tail turns darker.
Nightmare Moon gulps and nods to Luna who nods back as they both start merge together becoming one again.
“Now that we are one, you shall know the full extent of our power.” Luna says as she takes flight.

Lightning laughs and smiles, “Ahh now we have an equal fight but you’ll be calling me Strom Bringer.” He takes flight towards Luna.
In the real world Luna wakes up gasping as she breaths heavily as she looks at Lightning.

“Luna,” Lightning yawns, “you mind not waking me up like that please.” He opens eyes up slowly as he wakes up.
“I’m sorry Lightning, I had a bad dream where you become a darker version of yourself and I had to fight you to save you from becoming more powerful.” Luna nuzzles him gently.

Lightning returns the nuzzle lovingly and smiles, “Its ok Luna I trust you to do what you must do even if your friends stop me. I may loss some of my power but it’s always a risk right.” He smiles stretches his wings letting them relax and become un-stiff from where they were all day.

Luna smile’s and nods, “Yes that is true Lightning.” She gets up off the cloud and stretches herself to limber up.

Lightning smile’s and nods as he rolls over and lands on all four hoof’s before he walks to a stocked kitchen that was in the tent, “Since we are up how about we have something to eat and drink and then we can plan on where we can go but I think a stop off at Twilight’s should be first seeing as you did leave before I entered the library and introduce myself.” He smiles and uses his magic to get a cook book and then the stuff he needed to cook something for them to eat.

Luna nods and smiles following him to the kitchen, “Is there anything I can do Lightning.” She asked.

Lightning smiles as looks to Luna, “Hmmmm could you please set the table for us Luna and also help yourself to anything in the cooler that is stocked too.” He smiles as he goes over the page and smile’s as he the food he got from the fridge was being cut up and made into different shapes of star’s and circle’s and square’s and even the salad was being cut carefully.
Luna nods and giggles as she goes about to set the table as she uses her magic to get some water out of the cooler as she sits at the table, “I’m still surprise how big it is on the inside of this tent it’s like small on the outside and then big on the inside.”

Lightning chuckles, “That my dear Luna that is one thing of learning how to make something big on the inside with magic, not using anything else but knowing how big you want the space you want inside the tent,” he continues to make them breakfast even though it was only late afternoon, “so tell me Luna why did you leave the library in such a hurry last night.”
Luna looks down and sighs, “Tia and I had a little argument about what was important,” she sighs again and breaths slowly, “I was invited to Twilight’s sleep over last night which was important to me cause Twilight and her friends are my friends too, they have been keeping in touch with me after Nightmare Night, which I am grateful for but Tia can be alittle how shall I say this, she can be alittle over protective when it comes to studying.”

Lightning nods and chuckles, “Ahh yes the teachers are always saying to do one thing and don’t worry about the other thing but they tend to forget that the student needs to play too,” he smiles and brings out their meal as he sets Luna’s down in front of her, “there you go my dear one Strawberry and cream salad with apple and orange slices along with one small cheesecake topped with a zap-apple jam and all in the shape of the beautiful moon that you bring us each night.”

Luna looks at the meal as her mouth drools looking at the meal he had made for her, “Mmmm that looks so good Lightning,” she licks her lips as she looks at the meal again before looking at him, “I didn’t know you could prepare such a meal like this.” He smiles and sets his own meal down which was in the shape of a lighting blot.

“Thank you Luna besides I have been taught how to cook from the castle chiefs and such back home, which reminds after this week’s visit would you care to come and see the new wing of the hospital,” Lightning looks to Luna, “it would be nice if you were there to help launch the opening of the new Lunaward for foals and new mothers to rest and relax in and even enjoy night time entertainment such as movies and such, while their little one’s are healing after an operation or are there for week.” He nods to her to start eating as he starts to eat.

Luna blinks and looks at him, “A hospital ward in my name and you want me to come and visit your kingdom and stay for a week.” She looks at him.

Lightning nods and smiles, “Of course although we’ll have to talk to your sister about you coming to my kingdom, though my younger sister would be pleased to see me with someone and not those that want me to date their daughters just so that they can one of their own in the royal family.”

Luna blinks as she was half way through her salad, “Wait you have that problem in your kingdom but I thought that type of stamped out about 100 years ago.”

Lightning nods and sips his water, “It was but many family’s think that it is still ok so that they can have different bills stopped or have their own bill brought in to stop different trades coming in or other goods going out, which is why I take care of the overseeing of the bills I know what most want and that is fair trade,” he uses his magic to bring a napkin to his lips, “but I’m also looking to settle down and start a family with one I love but I don’t know how she is going to react to the news I want to share with her at a later date and time.” He smiles to her lovingly.

Luna blinks and blushes as she looks at him, “If I am right by she you mean me right,” she asks him, “and by how she would react to the news you mean my reaction right.”

Lightning nods and smiles, “That is correct Luna even though we have been keeping in touch with letters and photo’s I would like to ask you something but it’ll have to wait for a later date cause right now I want to enjoy the week with you even if it’s helping with protecting Equestria and the weather around Ponyville. I don’t mind working as long as I can share a bed with you to sleep at night knowing that I’ll be there for you in case something happens during your sleep.” He smiles and goes back to eating.

Luna blushes deeply and smiles as she goes back to eating thinking over what he said and how they have been keeping in touch with letters and photo’s when they weren’t visiting each other’s kingdom every month which was now down to once every three months.

Lightning smiles and looks at Luna, “You can tell me anything, you know I have always been there for you as somepony to listen to and to keep things secret from your sister.” He uses the napkin to dap at his lips before taking a sip of his water.
Luna nods and sighs as she half way through her meal, “I know but the dream I had is one I want to forget ever having.” She looks down at her meal as she stops eating.

“Luna can you tell besides it’s always good to voice bad dreams, you have with those you trust the most even I have bad dreams some time’s or if I can’t sleep I ask the pegasi to let me have a few storm clouds to sleep on,” Lightning gets up of his chair and walks over to Luna, “seeing as I love lightning during a good lightning storm it makes me feel alive and knowing that I can make others safe and happy so that they can enjoy another day and night doing what they love the most.” He puts a wing around her lovingly.

Luna looks at him and smiles nodding as a tear rolls down her cheek before pulling him into a hug as she starts to sob into his neck, “If you must know Lightning the dream was about you, me and Nightmare Moon but it wasn’t any dream. It was one where half of Nightmare Moon’s power was starting to take over you, turning you in wicked stallion of storms but you weren’t fighting an enemy of Equestria you were fighting Nightmare Moon and me,” She sniffs and hic-ups slightly, “it was like you knew which spell we were going to cast and you deflected it with ease not even batting an eye as you blocked it, you were like mad with power and lusted for more of it until you started changing becoming more powerful until Nightmare Moon and I had to unite to stop you but before we even stopped you I woke up gasping for breath cause it was something I didn’t want to share with you, knowing that what I know now I don’t think I can even stop you if you went like that in the dream.” She sniffs and nuzzles his neck as she just holds onto him.

Lightning nuzzles back lovingly, “Luna I promise you if I did go like that, I would try and break free even if you have to fight me. I would still be able to see but not be in control of my actions, it would have to be up to you and those that weld the Elements of Harmony to stop me but if you stopped me it mean our love is stronger than ever to overcome the darkness that would have taken over me.”

Luna blinks and looks up moving her head away and nods smiling to him, “Why didn’t I think of that before in my nightmare,” she kisses his lips softly, “and I do love you deeply Lightning just don’t go a power trip otherwise I’ll stomp you flat into the ground.”

Lightning shudders and nods, “Yes ma’am. I promise I won’t go on a power trip and try to take over Equestria while on said power trip.”

Luna smiles and giggles nodding, “Good now how about we finish up eating I want to finish this wonderful meal you made for me.”

Lightning nods and smiles kissing her check lovingly, “Okay Luna but after our meal do you think we should visit Twilight Sparkle and her friends that were there when you took off like that.” He asked wondering what her reply was going to be.
Luna nods and smiles, “I think I better and so that my friends can see I’m ok.” She continues to finish her meal as Lightning nods and continues to finish his own meal.

Back at Ponyville Library Twilight was helping Scootaloo fix up the second bedroom so that she could use for sleep overs and such, “Now Scootaloo, you sure you want a desk in here cause it would take up one part of the wall.” Twilight ask as she had a list of things to get for when they go out shopping the next day.

Scootaloo nods, “Yes Twilight I’m sure besides I can’t keep studying downstairs in the library without grabbing a book I need that someone is borrowing out now can I.” she smiles as Twilight had said something about getting her a cloud bed to sleep on.
Twilight nods and sighs, “Guess that means getting your own copy of the books you’ll need to study and such too, right.” She looks at the room which had been cleaned up and was now ready to be used by Scootaloo who had put up some posters and such of Rainbow Dash along with some Mare-do-well posters that she had saved from all those that wanted the posters making Twilight smile even more.

Scootaloo smiles and looks around the room noticing just how big it was for her to use as she puts her scooter in a corner, “Ok that’s everything I have with me.” She smiles looks to Twilight as a knock was heard from down stairs.

“Now who can that be at this time of day, “Twilight uses her magic to roll up the scroll as she and Scootaloo head down stairs to see who it was as Scootaloo wanted to see if the library had book she was looking for now.

“I hope Scootaloo is here.” Sweetie Belle sighs as she knocks again on the library door.

“Ah hope so too cause we need to plan what we are doing tomorrow otherwise we got nothing.” Applebloom waits next to Sweetiebell.

Twilight opens just as Scootaloo calls for Spikes help to get a few books for her to read up in her bedroom, “Oh hello girls what can I do for you for.” She smiles before turning her head to tell both Scootaloo and Spike to be careful.
“We will Twilight.” Spike calls out as Scootaloo points out the books she wants to read.

“Okay then,” Twilight smiles and looks back to Sweetie Belle and Applebloom, “sorry Scootaloo has been studying and getting settled in and I hope Rainbow Dash warn you both not to ask seeing as I sent her that note before asking her if she sees you to tell you both that Scootaloo staying with us and to warn you that I can change you to other gender with your sisters permission.” She whispers the last part to both of them.

Both nod and gulp as they both know that Twilight can do more than what they have seen or heard from their family, “We promise not to tell Scootaloo that we know.”

“Good now you can both come,” Twilight steps back from the door and calls to Scootaloo, “Scoot your friends are here,” She smiles and walks up to Scootaloo nuzzling her daughter lovingly, “I’ll leave you and your friends alone ok and can you use your bedroom but no rough housing or your grounded from going out after shopping ok.”

Scootaloo nuzzles back as her wings flatter nodding, “I promise no rough housing in my bedroom,” smiles before walking over to her friends, “Spike can you bring the books I asked for up to my room please,” she ask the purple dragon who nods and smiles, “sorry girls I was busy catching up on homework but I do have three pieces of good news but let’s go up to my room and I can tell you both there.” She smiles and leads the way up to her bedroom with Spike following the three friends up the stairs carrying the load of books as the girls talk and giggle about what they should plan.

“So what is the good news Scootaloo?” Applebloom ask as Sweetie Belle nods.

“Yeah come on tell us the good news.” Sweetie Belle bounces as she opens the door that Scootaloo pointed out to them as they all entered as Spike walks over the bedside table and puts the books on it.

“There and if I see a single page torn I’ll be telling Twilight got it Scootaloo,” Spike looks at them, “Even though you’re going to be living he….” He was cut off by Scootaloo who put a hoof over his lips.

“Spike I want to tell them it’s my news after all.” Scootaloo removes her hoof from Spikes lips.

“Fine but still my warning stays got it.” Spike walks out of the room as he closes the door behind him leaving it open slightly.

Scootaloo smiles and looks to her friends, “Ok so my first bit of news is I’m now living with Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle here at the Ponyville’s library,” Sweetie Belle and Applebloom cheer as both wanted to tell Scootaloo that they both knew, “second bit of news is I’m now studying cause I want to be something more and thirdly but get this I met a real live Princes from another kingdom and he said something about me becoming either a top flyer or great pegasus teacher but I want to be much then that I want to be able to see this other kingdom for myself when I’m older enough to fly.” She smiles and looks to her friends who jaw’s dropped at the mention of a prince.

“Wait you meet a prince, a real live prince.” Sweetie Belle looks at Scootaloo.

Applebloom just stares before shaking her head, “But we only know Princess Celestia and Princess Luna we don’t know any prince’s and how can we be sure he was a prince,” She looks to the poster, “Ah mean he would’ve been wearing a crown and such right.”

Scootaloo nods, “True but his name is Nebula but he didn’t wear anything because he said something about this being a visit to open trade routes and such with his kingdom and to strengthen friendships.”

Sweetie Belle blinks, “Now that you mention my big sister was working on an order for a new line of summer wear and she said it was big order,” she frowns, “that’s got to be it cause I think I saw a scroll bearing Celestia’s seal on her work desk.”
Both Applebloom and Sweetie Belle nod in agreement as Scootaloo walks over to the bed and jumps up onto the bed and lies down on her belly.

“So what are going to do Ah mean we are going crusading and such in the afternoon right?” Applebloom looks at her friends who nod.

“I’ll be able too after shopping and if I can get back on time.” Scootaloo smiles as she pulls a book from the bedside table onto the bed.

Applebloom and Sweetiebell nod, “True but what shall we do tomorrow I mean we could help out around Ponyville and such.” Sweetie Belle looks at her friends who nod even though Scootaloo was looking in the index of the book she had grabbed from the pile.

“Scootaloo what are you doing we are meant to be planning our crusading.” Apple Bloom ask.

“I know, I know but I want to look something up about Nebula, I know he is an Alicorn like both Luna and Celestia, who was were here last night but only Celestia was here with Nebula.” Scootaloo runs her hoof tip gently down the index as she finds Nebula’s name and starts to look for the pages.

“Wait Nebula is an Alicorn and you didn’t tell us.” Sweetie Belle bust out as she looks to Scootaloo who nods her head even as Applebloom’s jar drops open for a second time.

“Where is that page,” Scootaloo groans as she flips to the page and puts her hoof on it, “found it,” she smiles and moves her hoof tip down gently, “hmmm it says here that Prince Nebula is the rule of a kingdom called Sungale, it is said that it is always nice and temped even when it rains though its main source of income comes from outside trade along with trading gems and jewel’s along with other items of trade including farming and running programs to help other kingdom’s out which pay for the help that is given such trades are open to his nephew Lightning Hoof and niece Starsong, (who both are co-rulers of Stormdale) though Lightning Hoof rather enjoy life and make new contacts for help other kingdoms and such it is said that Lightning Hoof can command lightning and even deflect it from major worksites,” Scootaloo blinks and looks at what was written, “it’s also said that Nebula and Lightning Hoof enjoy a good race now and then that they race each other in race’s racing other and tying each time.”

Sweetie Belle and Applebloom look at Scootaloo, “So you’re saying that what you have been telling us is true.”

“Yes Sweetie Bell but there is a section on Lightning Hoof in here too,” Scootaloo moves her hoof down the page, “Prince Lightning Hoof or just Lightning to his friends and contacts manages the billing of new bill’s and such but is known to get advice from others that he keeps in contact with via calls and letter’s before passing any new bill’s in, he is much sort after being the only male Alicorn that can manage more task then most by filly’s and mare and has been known to hide himself away in storm clouds that are sometimes hanging around Stormdale,” Scootaloo looks up at her friends who nod for her to keep reading, “Lightning Hoof is the only one that can fly as fast as any flyer around even going as fast as lightning.” As Scootaloo reads the last part her jaw drops.

“How can that be no one can fly as fast as a sonic-rain boom not even Rainbow Dash can fly faster than a sonic-rain boom let alone no pony can move like lightning,” Sweetie Bell looks at the Scootaloo before jumping up on the on bed next to Scootaloo, “let me read it Scootaloo.” She starts to read as Scootaloo nods her head even as Sweetie Belle re-reads and re-reads what was written and shakes her as she slumps down.

Applebloom looks to Sweetie Bell, “So is it true then Sweetie Belle.” She ask her friend.

Sweetie Belle nods and sighs, “I can’t even find a fault with what is written so I guess it’s true,” She sighs and slumps down on the bed, “but I wonder who wrote this book to even know that Lightning Hoof can move like that unless they saw him move like that.”

“Don’t know but you think we can ask him and Rainbow Dash to have a race and see who is the fastest out of them both.” Sweetie Belle looks to Scootaloo and then Applebloom.

Applebloom nods, “Well it would prove if Rainbow Dash is the fastest pony around but then again wouldn’t it hurt her pride too.”

Scootaloo nods and sighs, “Bad idea cause Rainbow Dash would do something rash and reckless and I don’t want her to get hurt after all she is my new mom now and I would be upset if she did do something reckless.” She sighs and closes the book as she sets it aside and stretches.

“So what we doing tomorrow I mean we are going to be doing something to get our cutie marks right.” Sweetie Belle looks to her friends.

Scootaloo looks at the books she had Spike brought up and then to her homework and finally her friends, “Sorry guys I mean I want to go out with you but I need to get my homework out of the way and I can’t ask for more extension’s then I have already had.” Scootaloo looks down.

“Now that you mention it we all have homework and if Ah know my sister she’ll tan m’ah flank for not doing it before going out to do things.” Applebloom groans laying down and covering her head remembering the last time she did something before doing her homework first.

“I finished my homework last night it shouldn’t take that long right.” Sweetie Belle looks at both her friends.

“I have math, not to mention a few other projects that need to be done,” Scootaloo groans, “at least I can get two projects out of the way but the third and fourth one I don’t know what I’m going to do seeing as I have to do something about the history of Equestria and then the History of both Princess’s and that’s going to take all day.”

“Wait is it both project’s that you have to do right,” Sweetie Belle looks to Scootaloo who nods, “well you are living above a library right and you can also go to Applebloom’s and ask Granny Smith right.”

“I know Sweetie Belle but the book I wanted was the history of Equestria cause it had everything I needed to do both projects but without that book I can’t do those projects.” Scootaloo groans before laying down on her bed as a knock was heard on the door.

“Scootaloo I know you and your friends are talking but can I come in.” Twilight ask as she waits.

“Sure mom we were talking about homework.” Scootaloo groans.

Twilight opens the door and smiles looking in, “Well in that case I can do a homework planner for all of you though I think Sweetie Belle wouldn’t need one seeing as she does her homework.” She notices Applebloom biting her lower lip.
Applebloom gulps and looks to Sweetie Belle before getting up, “Ah better get going its long walk back to the farm with Big Macintosh who should be finished selling the apples he brought into town,” she gulps and looks to Twilight, “can I see you about getting a homework planner Twilight please.” She ask lavender colored unicorn.

“Sure and Big Macintosh is waiting for you downstairs Applebloom he had to drop off the order I ordered from your sister Applejack,” Twilight smiles as she looks to Sweetie Belle, “Sweetie Belle, Rarity asked if we drop you off back at her home okay,” She smiles and walks over to Scootaloo and looks at the book, “hmm Kingdoms and other pony’s outside of Equestria,” she smiles to Scootaloo, “remind me to read that one after you are finished with it ok Scoot.” She kisses her daughters cheek softly.

“Scootaloo blushes and smiles, “Yes mom I will.”

Sweetie Belle smiles and nods giggling before looking at the book, “Hey Scootaloo why don’t do one project on Lightning Hoof or even Nebula I’m sure they could answer your questions that you have right.” She looks to her friend and smiles more.

“Hmmmm that might be a good seeing as Nebula is staying with Celestia until his wings are healed up but I think he stay for half a day to answer your questions Scootaloo.” Twilight smiles and ruffles Scootaloo’s mane.

“Yeah that would be good though that project isn’t due until next week,” Scootaloo sighs and groans, “I’m never going to finish all the homework I have to do to find time to do those questions.”

“Scootaloo you’ll find time even if I’m helping besides you’ll have new desk tomorrow along with a some new books even that History of Equestria and Kingdoms and other pony’s outside of Equestria books that you’ll need too.” Twilight smiles as she starts to walk to the bedroom door as Applebloom joins her.

“Thanks mom I wish I could learn to fly but I need training.” Scootaloo sighs and looks down.

“Don’t worry sweetie you’ll learn to fly and then you can Rainbow Dash a run for her bits if you can beat her that is,” Twilight smiles and giggles softly as she leads Applebloom downstairs leaving Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo alone, “so Applebloom you want a dairy that can remind you when your homework is due or just something you can write on.” She looks to Applebloom.

Applebloom was still biting her lower lip, “Twilight I really wanted to tell Scootaloo that both me and Sweetie knew about her staying with you cause we heard it from Rainbow dash and she promised us not to tell Scootaloo that we know but I had to tell someone otherwise I would’ve said we knew right to Scootaloo’s face.” She sighs and steps off the last step as Big Macintosh was standing there waiting for her.

“Now what’s this about not keepin’ a secret when you were asked not to tell your friend” Big Mac looks at his little sister.

“Ah know Big Mac but it was eating me up on the inside I didn’t want to hurt Scootaloo’s feelings in telling us that she is now living with Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash I just didn’t want her to be upset is all.” Applebloom looks down and sigh.

Big Mac looks to Twilight Sparkle then to his younger sister, “Mmmm Ah’ll be talking with your sister about this seeing as Twilight Sparkle did warn me about what she told Rainbow Dash to tell you and Sweetie Belle.” He nudges her out the door.

“I’ll send the homework planner later and a have safe walk home Big Mac, Applebloom.” Twilight smiles as she watch’s them both leave wondering how long Rainbow Dash was taking to get back from her weather portal so that they can have dinner.

Rainbow Dash lands on the balcony and smiles waving her hoof to her team wishing them a save flight back home, “Twilight, Scootaloo I’m home.” She calls out as she had entered from the balcony and out of the bedroom door.
Scootaloo who was closer hearing Rainbow Dash calling for her and Twilight Sparkle, “Sweet Rainbow Dash is back and about time too.” She smiles looks to Sweetie Belle who nods.

“True and after all isn’t nearly dinner time.” Sweetie Belle smiles as she had been wanting to talk Twilight about setting up a meeting with Nebula.

Twilight smiles and heads into the kitchen to get dinner started with Spikes help as Rainbow Dash was making her way down the stairs.

“Rainbow Dash your back.” Scootaloo races out of her bed room and tackles Rainbow Dash into a hug who returns the hug fiercely as she flaps her wings to keep them from falling down the stairs.

“Easy there Scoot besides no running in the house ok,” Rainbow Dash smiles and looks into her daughters room, “hey Sweetie Belle guess you’re staying for dinner too right.” She smiles as she could smell Spike cooking the hay fries.
“Yes Rainbow Dash and I’m sure Twilight and Spike have gotten dinner ready.” Sweetie Belle smiles as she jumps off the bed and walks out of the room joining Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash as they head down to the kitchen.

Luna and Lightning were just about the to leave as Luna was thinking, “Hmmmm you sure we set the letter’s to Twilight Sparkle and her friends, Lightning.”

“Luna I’m sure we besides I’m guessing around this time they’ll be having dinner,” Lightning smiles and uses his magic to put away the tent that they used for during the day, “now who would be closer that we can get to first and know that we can get to the rest from there.” He walks over to Luna who was looking at the castle that she once lived in as he nuzzles he her neck.
Luna nuzzles back and smiles, “That would be Applejack, her farm is close by and we can get to back to Ponyville from there too.”

Lightning nods and smiles, “Then we should get going. Well if we are to make good time and catch them after dinner.” He smiles and looks to the sky before shuddering.

Luna see’s the shudder and frown’s, “You ok Lightning?” she asked hoping he was.

“I’m fine Luna, just something I hope doesn’t come true later on but I do feel that a storm is coming and not just a small one but its long off.” Lightning smiles and kisses Luna’s lips softly.

Luna smiles into the kiss before breaking it, “I hope your right because I wouldn’t want to be flying around in that type of storm.”

“Nor do I Luna, nor do I.” Lightning smiles as he looks at the coming stars that started to come out for the night.

Luna smiles and watch’s him as seeing him in the moon’s light for the first time as she blushes softly, “Come on Lightning we have long flight ahead of us.” She smiles before taking a small running start as she spreads her wings and lifts off from the ground jumping into the air and flying towards Applejack’s home.

Lightning smiles and follows her taking the same running start even as his hoofs beats where light on the ground before jumping into the air spreading his wings to take flight as he follows Luna.

Twilight Sparkle was waiting for Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo along with Sweetie Belle as Spike was setting the table as letter appears in front of Twilight Sparkle.

“Spike can you finish getting the dishes out please I need to read this letter.” Twilight asked the purple dragon as it bears the royal seal.

“Sure Twilight but who would be sending a letter or even a scroll at this hour.” Spike says as he starts to get the dishes out on to table as Twilight leaves the kitchen.

Dear Twilight Sparkle,

I would like to visit you tonight so that you can see that I am well and so that you and Rainbow Dash don’t have to worry about me.

I do have one thing I want to say to you both in ponyson so that I can let my feelings rest on knowing that you’ll be happy.
Lightning wishes to able to talk you with you both too and he will be accompanying me on my visits to your friends that have by now received the same letters. We’ll be by after our visit to Rarity if we don’t run into Pinkie Pie on our way to your home.

Twilight blinks and re-re-reads the letter as Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle make it down to the ground floor.
Rainbow Dash smiles as Scootaloo was on her back laughing as Sweetie Belle shakes her head, “Hey Twi what you reading there,” Rainbow Dash ask before seeing the Royal seal, “please don’t tell me Princess Celestia is coming back here for dinner.”

Twilight looks up and shakes her, “No Dashy it’s not that,” she looks back to the letter, “It’s from both Princess Luna and Prince Lightning Hoof and they are visiting after Rarity.

Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo look wide eyed at Twilight before saying together, “Both Princess Luna and Prince Lightning Hoof are coming here tonight.” They ask as Sweetie Belle stands there shocked.

Twilight nods and smiles before rolling the scroll up, “Yes but I don’t know if we can get Sweetie Belle home in time for her to be there with Rarity to see them both. Even though they said they’ll be here after visiting Rarity that is if,” she looks around to make sure that one pink hyper active pony doesn’t pop out of nowhere, “Pinkie Pie doesn’t pull them off into party.”
Rainbow Dash nods and walks over to Twilight Sparkle and kissing her cheek, “Okay then so after dinner or after desert cause I don’t want to make Sweetie Belle to throw up while I’m getting her home.”

Just as Rainbow Dash finished talking to Twilight and before Twilight could start to speak a scroll appeared in front of them as Twilight catch’s it with her magic, “What’s this now.”

As Twilight unrolls the scroll she notice’s it doesn’t have the royal seal.

Twilight darling,

I’m hope you don’t mind but could I possibly ask if Sweetie Belle can stay the night. I know its short notice but I got a letter a while ago from both Princess Luna & Prince Lightning Hoof.

I’m getting a new design ready for them both seeing as they’ll be stopping by after visiting Apple Jack at her farm along with her family. I know Sweetie Belle would like staying overnight because she tells me you’re the best unicorn teacher to teach her how to use her magic.

Twilight blinks and looks at the scroll, “Well that settles it,” she looks to Sweetie Belle, “Sweetie Belle you don’t mind staying overnight seeing as Rarity is designing a new line for both the Princess and the Prince.”

Sweetie Belle looks Twilight and then Rainbow Dash, “I get to stay and meet both Princess Luna and Prince Lightning Hoof in ponyson and yes I would like to stay overnight Twilight if nots to much trouble.”

Twilight nods and smiles, “Guess you can sleep in Scootaloo’s room seeing as we don’t any more room lefted unless we set up something in one of the Library room’s on the ground floor.”

“Twi you’re thinking it all wrong I’m sure Scootaloo doesn’t mind the company, right Scoot’s.” Rainbow Dash smiles and looks at Scootaloo.

“I don’t mind if Sweetie Belle sleeps in my room. I mean it is big enough for two or three fillies to sleep in right.” Scootaloo smiles and looks at Sweetie Belle who nods.

Sweetie Belle smiles and nods, “Sleep over at Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash’s house with Scootaloo,” She jumps up and blushes beforing coughing softly, “Sorry.”

Both Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash chuckle, “Sweetie Belle I remember my first sleep over at Fluttershy’s house and I was excited that I was sleeping over at her parent’s house, that instead of sleeping we all watched movies until late though Fluttershy always picked the movies which was good cause we all had a good time laughing at all good movies.”

Twilight smiles and giggles, “I had to wait until that big storm hit for Apple Jack and Rarity to stay over though we did have fun time they sorted out their problems that we had a good time the next they stay over and no Rainbow we didn’t do anything of that kind if I think I know what you’re thinking.”

Rainbow Dash blushes and chuckles, “Hehe I don’t know what you mean Twilight,” she looks at her lover and smiles, “besides let’s get to dinner before Spike eats all on us.”

“Hey I heard that,” Spike calls out from the dining room as he was setting the last meal down, “you four getting your tails in here to eat do I have to drag you four in here.” He crosses his arms over his chest even though he was growing up.

“Rule 1 never make Spike wait or say anything that might upset him,” Twilight blushes softly, “We’re coming Spike.” She calls out and sighs before walking to the dining room as the other three follow her.

“About time you four stop talking do you know hard it is to not think about eating all this spread without putting it on the table.” He smiles and takes his seat as he had to keep his from flicking about and knocking things over.

Sweetie Belle takes her seat at the table next to Spike as Scootaloo was in the middle of Twilight and Rainbow as they say a little grace for bring the family whole even as Spike uses his tail to push in Sweetie Belle’s chair a little closer for her.

“Thank you, Spike.” Sweetie Belle smiles.

“No problem Sweetie Belle, I’m glad to help.” Spike smiles as he pulls his tail back knowing that Rarity would skin him alive if Sweetie Belle had a mark made by his tail.

Twilight giggles as she saw what Spike did with his tail.

Over at Sweet Apple Archer’s, Applejack and her family were just settling down to some after dinner rest as they getting ready for bed but also enjoying a some hot chocolate milk as Granny Smith was snoring away in her rocker.

“Applebloom, Ah want you be up early ok I need your help something and knowing your friends they’ll bug ya for the info on what it is so no telling th’m and Ah might let you stay over at Scootaloo’s new home.” Applejack takes a sip of her hot chocolate.

“Yes Applejack, Ah will be up early but I still need the morning to finish off that last piece of homework and Granny Smith is asleep so I guess so.” Applebloom sighs as she takes a sip of her own hot chocolate.

Applejack sighs and nods, “I now little sis but we really need to clean out the shed it shouldn’t take more than an hour,” As she goes to open her mouth to tell Applebloom about what should be done a knock could be heard on the door, “what tarnation,” she gets up and looks at the door as the knock could be heard again, “who would be calling at this hour and at night too.” She goes to answer the door.

Luna and Lightning had landed and where waiting at the door to the Apple’s family home, “I hope they are still up though you may like Big Macintosh, I hear that he is the strongest earth pony along with Applejack.” Luna smiles and looks at Lightning.
Lightning blinks and looks at Luna, “I’m he is and if I didn’t know any better I say you’re trying to make me jelly of him and to me think that you have a crush on him.” He looks Luna in the eye as she blushes and nuzzles him.

“I don’t love him Lightning besides I have respect for him and his family though Applebloom can tend be,” Luna thinks, “hmmm how can put…” she was cut off as the door opens up as Applejack was standing.

“Princess Luna,” Applejack looks wide eye at the Princess before looking to her companion, “oh my Ah didn’t know you both were coming but please come in.” she stands back from the door to let in her guest.

“Applejack did Ah just hear you say Princess Luna.” Applebloom ask as she was stretching and getting ready to go to bed.
Luna giggles and smiles, “Thank you Applejack but we can’t stay long, though we can stay for a bit.” She walks through the door bowing her head to Applejack who bows back.

“It’s a pleasure to meet one of Luna’s friends,” Lightning smiles and bows his head, “I would like to get know Luna’s friends so that I can enjoy the time I put into working anywhere if they allowed me to work.” He waits for an answer from Applejack.
“Gee Ah don’t know, seeing as Ah only meet you last night though,” Applejack thinks and smiles, “hmmm with harvest coming up and most of the family not going to be make it, though my friends do help when harvest time comes around so having another to help is good enough for me though you may want to speak to my big brother about helping,” Applejack smiles, “he can be a tad stubborn but he does like having others to help if they can work hard and be on time.”

Lightning smile’s lifting his head, “Thank you Applejack,” he walks in as Applejack closes the door behind him as leads them to the lounge room where Applebloom was still standing.

Applebloom’s jaw drops as Princess Luna walks in after her big sister but she gasps loudly even as her eyes go wide, “no it, it, it can’t be Prince Lightning Hoof, it just can’t be.” She watches as Lightning Hoof walks in as she sees his cutie mark as she remembers seeing it in the book Scootaloo was reading from.

Applejack looks to her little sister, “What’s that Applebloom you know Luna’s guest.”

Applebloom gulps as Lightning smiles and walks up to her bowing his head, “Greetings little one even though you know my name but can you tell me your name and where you heard my name from,” Lightning lays down in front of the fire that was going as he looks to the eldest of the family seeing her sleeping before using his magic to put a blanket over her, “fair Applejack please make sure the elder of the family is in bed when she wakes, it’s going to be a little cold tonight and I don’t want see the one I wish to talk to about learning Ponyville’s History sick, though I know I can read the history in books but hearing it is one thing and reading it is other cause reading it doesn’t put it into view then hearing it from someone who does.”

Applejack nods and smiles as she and Luna lay down on some lounge rugs to talk.

Applebloom gulps as she smiles, “My friend Scootaloo was reading from a book because she wanted to know more about Prince Nebula and your name come up while she was reading the info about Prince Nebula and mah name is Applebloom.”
Lightning nods and smile’s bowing his head again, “It’s a pleasure to meet you Applebloom though I have heard that you can be well I was never told what you get up too.”

Applebloom smile’s and giggles, “Umm well as to what I get up to and such, well you see me and my friends are trying to find our special talent because we don’t want to be blank flanks forever.”

“Ahh a noble thing but one’s talent isn’t found but it can be earned though what you have done before and love doing,” Lightning smile’s and looks at the fire remembering his history lessons, “let me tell you how I got my cutie mark Applebloom and then you’ll know I named so.”

Applejack and Luna look up from their talk, “Oh I want to hear this seeing as I haven’t heard that tail before.” Luna smiles as Applejack nods.

Lightning smiles and blushes as he looks to Luna and Applejack, “Very well then let me start at the beginning then you may know why I am called Lightning Hoof,” he takes deep breath and sighs, “it started during a the best part of the day as there was a storm forecast for that afternoon it was the middle of spring and our crops needed the water that everypony worked so hard for to grow,” he looks at his listeners before continue, “I was going over some bills and getting some advice from those that taught me while I was growing up and with my sister on the throne I knew the kingdom was in good hoofs. It was during that day that the storm was being prepared that some storm clouds were already there in the sky, though they were ones I use to hide in not many pegasi’s like going to into storm clouds which for me is a welcome sight,” he ruffles his wings softly, “so as I was doing my job of sorting through the bills that people wanted to be brought in most were to stop other sorts of trade not coming into the kingdom which were throw out cause. One of my advisor’s told me that my old friend and nemeses was dong well as a baron but he secretly what my job as he was a alicorn too though not one born in the castle but he could challenge the throne but he never wins against my sister Starsong when it came to thinking and planning. Now on this day I had planned a trip to meet with one of old teachers in showing around the new students the school that they will be studying in but I never made it to the meeting cause the storm was picking up and fast. Marthraloo was the wisest pegasus pony I trusted along with those that taught me I was very good in school and never missed a lesson but one weather pegasus knocked on my window as I went to see what was happening.” As he was talking the story was made alive in his listeners minds.

FLASH BACK

“Swiftstar what is wrong and why do you look panic stricken for.” Lightning asked.

“Prince Lightning I’m glad I caught before you lefted its crops and the school there is lightning coming down with in meters of both. We had put up the lightning rods in time but we missed one part please the foals are scared and they being held inside the school.” Swiftstar comes in as Lightning moves back to his desk.

“Marthraloo is this true.” Lightning ask as Martharloo’s image flickers over the magic crystal.

“It is Lightning I’m getting the reports now and the young foals are safe though they are scared out of their hoofs we must do something and quick.” Marthraloo nods to another pony that was on his off side as his light urban mane was streaked with grey showing his age.

“I’m on my way,” Lightning nods to his other advisors who bow back wishing him luck as he turns to Swiftstar, “Take as close as you can go Swiftstar and must hurry time is not something we have on our side seeing as everyone worked so hard for the crops to be ready for harvest.”

Swiftstar nods as she walks out of the window and taking off with lightning behind her as he watches her making sure to keep his eye’s on here knowing that her colouring can make her hard to find in the clouds as she was nearly the same colouring as himself.

Swiftstar leads Lightning across the city before stopping and pointing, “There you can see the space between the school and the crops it was missed when we were all putting up the lightning rods.” She yells over the top of the wind.

Lighting stops and flaps his wings next to her before leaning his head in closer to hers, “Thank you Swiftstar but you better go and make sure that on other pony needs help getting home I don’t want to be rushing around sending any medical teams out in this weather, do I make self-clear.”

Swiftstar nods and smiles, “Perfectly your highness I’ll make sure to get my teams to help that way we know we have the whole city covered.” With that she takes off back towards the city.

Lightning fly’s to the school as many of the students look at the clouds as they couldn’t see him even though flank was blank he fitted in perfectly with the storm clouds blending in with them before lands and enters the school as he looks around before moving to the shelter for lightning storms.

“Clam down everyone I know must of you are older enough to help but please help those that younger then you they will be scared right now and need the support of the eldest pony’s,” Marthraloo smiles looking at the those that were wanting to help, “most of the students here are starting so they’ll be wanting their parents who can’t make it in time to pick them, do everything you can to help them clam down they be young but they look up to the elder pony’s that they are with and don’t do anything that can get you kicked out of this school and out of what you want to do.”

The students nod and go about working in teams to help clam the young foals that were starting their first year of school as Lightning enters the shelter.

“Marthraloo it’s good to see you again and I see you have teams helping the young ones.” Lightning smiles as all eyes turn to him as they all stare before bowing to him.

“Lightning its good see you in ponyson and yes I have teams helping teachers and such looking for young foals that have hidden elsewhere to wait this storm out but I trust them to find the young ones and bring them back here,” Marthraloo smiles, “I take it you have seen the gap between the school and the crops then.”

Lightning nods and sighs, “Yes I have but I will do everything I can to make sure that the lightning doesn’t strike the school or the crops but I wanted to make sure everyone was alright beforehand.”

Marthraloo nods and smiles, “Good lad many guards could do with a head like yours on them thinking of the safety of others first and such.” He smiles as one young foal comes up and taps Lightning on his fore leg.

“Please sir make the bad weather go away we all want to go home, we miss our parents.” The young pegasus sniffs.
Lightning leans his head down and nuzzles the young pegasus neck, “Soon little one but first I need make sure that no lightning bolts hits the school or the crops besides I’ll make sure nothing happens to all of you during this storm.”

The young pegasus returns the nuzzle and smiles, “Thank you Prince Lightning.”

“You’re welcome little one, now go and stay with your group it’s better to be together with those you know then those you don’t know fully.” Lightning smiles and nudges the young pegasus back to his group smiling before nodding to Marthraloo as he takes his leave to help protect the school and the crops.

*There has to be a way to fix this but how and who would order one or more not to be up, its standard practice that both the school and the crops that the school grows to help feed everypony that comes through its doors.* Lightning thinks as he runs out the schools front door having made his way back to the front as he keeps running down the path before spreading his wings and taking off.

As Lightning takes flight Swiftstar was getting her teams out as the gryphons that she grew up know how bad it can be for young or anyone else outside in a big storm like this one.

“Swiftstar we need to make sure the injured get to the hospital are back and not to mention,” Stella looks at the show as a flash of lightning streaks across the show, “damn it what news do we have from school.” She was worried about her hatchling and the other gryphon hatchlings and the pony foals that she and the rest of the gryphons have come to respect and work alongside with in kingdom.

“Stella they are all fine Prince Lightning is with there now,” Swiftstar sighs, “I just hope nothing happens to him like that time when we were growing up, also I know Ben and Melissa where sent there to help round up and find anypony that may have gotten lost at the school on the way to the lightning shelter,” she smiles and puts a hoof on Stella’s shoulder, “don’t worry ok they’ll be safe and once this is over you can have a month off I know how worry you are about your young Stella cause I’m also worried about my daughter too but we must do this to protect them and the rest we are the elite.”

Stella nods and smiles, “Okay Swiftstar lets do this for both our young and the others they are with.”

Swiftstar nods before both take off in different directions to help out with the other teams as they both hope that Prince Lightning can save the school.

Back at Stormdale castle Starsong was busy ordering the guards and anypony that had offered to help with getting everypony to safety, “I hope my brother is going to be okay at the school.” She had seen him take off with Swiftstar hoping that he would come back in piece and alive.

Lightning was flying through the sky narrowing missing the lightning strikes that had kepted coming as he was flying back fourth between the big gap that was there deflecting each lighting strike to the nearest lightning rod where it was neutralize in the rod as he fly’s to the next lightning strike that as he use his magic to deflect it as it falls short of the lightning rod and strikes the ground near the rod.

“That was close.” Lightning pants before turning around to get the next one.

As he was flying to where the next lighting strike one lightning bolt had come down right on top of him as he screams up in pain as the lightning bolt strikes him as the current runs through his body he screams loudly though the air as his eyes glow white as he feels some unknown power unlocking inside him.

“AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.” Lightning Screams loudly as he opens his eyes as the start glowing white before a magical build up start build, *What the hell is happening nothing like this has happen to me before excepted in school when I was knocked around by those Gryphons.* he thinks before his mane and tail started to turn electric blue.

Everypony in the school could hear the scream of pain that had come through the walls of the school and the shelter.

Stella and Swiftstar stop as they heard the same scream, “That came from them school.” Swiftstar looks at Stella who nods.
“Let’s get over there then Prince Lightning might have been hurt,” Stella shudders remembering what her parents had done by sending her and the others to the castle and to spend an entire month working and training at the castle even though Ben and Melissa were assign to Lightning to help get around though they all shared the same room with the Prince when it was time to turn in, “Swiftstar I want say I’m sorry for the things that were said and done to you I didn’t mean them but we gryphons don’t like sharing the sky with one until our parents sent us to the castle for a month long stay of training and helping the prince,” she sighs as they both fly to the school, “we are to stop any other gryphon that dares to lay a talon on any pony or another gryphon.”

“Stella its okay I have forgiven you and the rest for everything you all did besides we are half at fault too until Prince Lightning came to the school.” Swiftstar smiles and nods as they both flew the shy racing to get to the school.

“Thank you Swiftstar.” Stella smiles as she gets in front Swiftstar and stops her as she could see the Prince in the middle of a lightning strike.

“Stella what gives he…?” Swiftstar’s eyes go wide as she now saw what Stella was seeing, “We have to get him out of there.”

“And what giving up your life to save Lightning only to die yourself and leave your daughter grow up not having mother.” Stella looks at Swiftstar as she was thinking the same thing but not wanting to let her daughter grow up without her there.

“I-i-i-i don’t know Stella,” Swiftstar shudders as she knew Stella was right, “thank you for stoping me but the question remains how are we going to get Lighting out of there.”

Both look at where Prince Lightning was as lightning strike after lightning strike hitting him as he builds up his magical power, “Not going to let this beat ME.” He screams out before letting out his magical power blowing a hole in the clouds where he was under as the air around him was pushed outward as the schools magical defence stops the high pressure air from getting to the school’s walls.

Both Swiftstar and Stella hold on to each other as they were pushed back as both look at the hole that their Prince had created as they look at each other.

Lightning pants and shudders shaking his head as he falters in the air, “That took a lot and yet I feel like new but different.” He shakes his head again as he starts to loss height.

“Swiftstar you okay.” Stella ask as she looks at her friend as she herself took the blunt of the blast from the high pressure air blast as she had felt something hit leg as she winches in some pain.

“I’m fine Stella,” Swiftstar smile sand hugs her friend, “Put let’s get to Prince Lightning and see if we can offer some assistance to him,” she smile’s before looking and gasp seeing her friends leg, “Stella your leg its broken.” She holds onto her friend.

“I’ll live but first let’s get to Prince Lightning and see if he needs help before I go to the hospital to patch up.” Stella smiles as she brings her injured leg up and closer to her body winching at the pain.

“Stella I can’t your my friend and I need you to go to the hospital right now your leg is injured and lefted untreated you could loss it and a lot of blood what would your daughter say visiting you in hospital each day after school.” Swiftstar smiles.

“Okay you’re right I’ll go there but I want to know if Prince Lightning is going to be okay later.” Stella smiles before letting her friend go as she takes off to the hospital to get her leg looked at, *Be safe my friend.* she thinks as she winch’s in pain slightly.

*Have a safe flight my friend.* Swiftstar thinks to herself as she flies to the school.

Marthraloo who heard the scream along with the other teachers told those that nearing the end of their final to keep watch over the rest and that it as a test that they must pass in order to pass the hidden section of keeping watch in time of the danger.

“You sure it was Lightning screaming you heard, Marthraloo.” Whistlesong whistles softly wondering if her follow colleague right.

“It was Whistlesong and I know that scream anywhere seeing as it’s the same when he first came though these halls after the fight with the gryphons so long along.” Marthraloo looks to Silverwing who nods.

“I remember that fight and the talking too I got from my parents and then the month long training I had to do even though sleeping Prince Lightning’s room was a drag,” Silverwing chuckles, “but I never knew he had so much things that we could do to relax and enjoy ourselves though those cloud beds we got to sleep on, oh man they were heaven on wings I never thought I could get a good night’s sleep on one not to mention we got to take them home which surprised our parents a lot too.” He smiles as they were running through the halls to front entrance.

“Let’s hope he isn’t hurt or worst.” Marthraloo snorts as both Whistlesong and Silverwing nod as they reach the entrance before busting through the doors just Swiftstar gets there.

“Marthraloo you heard the scream too I take it.” Swiftstar smile’s looking at Marthraloo, Whistlesong and Silverwing.
“Three of us did and we rushed here fast but the rest or taking care of the students, Swiftstar.” Marthraloo looks up and covers his eyes as the sun as do the rest as the sun was poking through the hole in the clouds as they could make out a form fore seeing it starting to fall.

“Whistlesong call the others flyers now,” Silverwing looks to Swiftstar, “you’re with me need to stop his decent or slow his decent down now.” He takes from the ground just as Whistlesong blows her whistle loudly as the flyers she was training that wanted to join the weather team.

Silverstorm who hears the whistle being blown looks to his team as they knew what that whistle meant, “Whistlesong needs us,” he looks to the youngsters he and his team were meant to look after even though some knew that whistle and wanted to help, “Those that nearly in their final year step forward and keep watch over the youngsters this not a test this a drill,” he looks to his team, “those in their final year come with Whistlesong needs us and double time it.” He calls out as the other teachers nod before watching the Stormdale Champs taking off double time to the front.

Whistlesong waits for her team of flyers as she looks up to the sky even as Swiftstar and Silverwing mange to catch Prince Lightning.

Swiftstar gasps seeing Prince Lightning up close, “Dear sun and moon his mane and tail have change.” She marvels at who Prince Lightning’s mane and tail were now an electric blue in tone and color.

Silverwing nods, “That’s not all look at his hoofs they are white pure white with what looks to be,” he looks alittle closer, “dear heaven and the stars those little white lines look like lightning strikes.”

Swiftstar nods before gasping loudly at seeing their prince’s flan, “His flank there is a golden Horse shoe behind his lightning cutie mark.”

Silverwing looks at Prince Lightning’s flank and nods, “That is true it’s the same on his other flank too,” Both flap their wings hard, “Whistlesong, where are your flyers we need them up here now.” He yells to Whistlesong.

“Whistlesong we heard the whistle what’s wro….” Silverstorm starts to say before being gut off.

“Up there now, help Silverwing and Swiftstar with getting our prince back to the ground safely.” Whistlesong points to the sky.
Silverstorm nods as he points up before he and his team take off to help Silverwing and Swiftstar.

“About time support his body and legs and keep his head up,” Silverwing looks down, “Marthraloo we need a cloud bed now it’s the only thing that can move him on and over to the hospital.”

Marthraloo nods and looks to Whistlesong, “Go my team has it from here,” she smiles before looking up at her team, “do what Silverwing ask of you and don’t slack in taking order’s his orders are still the same as mine and if one of you think this isn’t a test just remember who your saving up there.” She yells up at her team.

Silverstorm and his team nod in understanding as they take up positions and supporting their Princes body and head.
Prince Lightning was out of it as he didn’t what was happening as he groans and shudders as everypony and gryphon keep a hold on him.

“Steady him and make sure to keep him stable he falls it’ll be our wings that will be clipped if he falls.” Silverwing tells them even as Swiftstar nods.

“Trust me cause it mean I make this team work in note delivery for the weather teams and not see any action or helping.” Swiftstar looks at them all.

Silverstorm and his team gulp and nod knowing that their chance’s on making the weather team was on the line more now than ever.

Silverstorm’s team was made of up of Pegasi, Gryphon and a Pegasus/Gryphon hybrid who was one of three females on the team, “We understand sir.”

Marthraloo using his own whistle calls for his own team of medical pony’s as they rush out bringing with them a cloud bed as they look up and gasps seeing their beloved Prince being gently carried down to the ground.

“Make sure we get him on the cloud bed,” Silverwing looks to the team that was helping before looking at the hybrid flyer, “You name.”

“Me sir,” she gulps, “it’s Lillianner sir.” Lillianer blushes softly as she was didn’t want to be signal out.

“Lillianner can you be the spotter so that we can move him onto the cloud bed safely.” Silverwing ask of her.

“I can sir.” Lillianner nods and before moving upwards with her wings as she pulls her goggles down over her eyes.

“Don’t worry sir Lillianner is the best spotter we have on the team.” Whitestreak smiles as he looks up to his friend.

“Sir you okay with the wing and hoof flag style right.” Silverstorm ask as he looks to Silverwing and then to Swiftstar who both nod.

Lillianer adjust her goggles as she uses her wings and hoof/talon’s to direct them as she keeps both wings still as they were on target.

The team along with Silverwing and Swiftstar look up and followed the directions there given before seeing the on target signal.

“Sir’s and team your all good to lower him down as fast you need too just don’t move from the position that your holding.” Lillianner stays above them lowering down.

They all nod and lower down moving as fast as they can while still looking up at Lillianner follow her signal’s even as she notice’s them off by a friction to her right.

Marthraloo watch’s fearful of what might have happen to his brightess and gifted student and prince before looking to his team, “Make sure you keep that cloud bed still and if that bed moves I’ll send you back to the first year of medical training to redo everything.” He growls out the order even as his team nods gulping knowing that he would seeing as they had one already sent back to the first year medical training.

“Yes sir.” Martharloo’s team says as one as they keep the cloud bed where it was.

“We’re doing good right on target,” Lillianner looks on as she nods, “steady we are close to the cloud bed go down now and then stop.” She tells them even as they nod and go down stoping an inch above the cloud bed as Lillianner lands and nods.
“Land but gently.” Silverwing looks to the team of flyers that had helped them.

Whistlesong was standing next to the Marthraloo as her team with Silverwing and Swiftstar lower their Prince onto the cloud bed, “Is he okay.” She asks with worry in eyes as tears start to form.

“Secure him the cloud bed and get him to the hospital now.” Marthraloo puts a hoof over Whistlesong’s back as he was worried too even as her team moves out of the way for the medical team to over.

“Securing now.” The medical unicorns use their magic to make sure Prince Lightning was secured on the cloud bed as Silverwing and Swiftstar rub Lightning’s back softly before Swiftstar breaks down crying as Silverwing walks around and comforts her.

“He is going to be alright Swiftstar you’ll see,” Silverwing sniffs softly as he and the other gryphons had got to know him more along with the other pony’s, “he’ll be back to his old self in no time.”

Swiftstar sniffs and buries her face in Silverwings feathers, “You don’t get it I should’ve stayed with him, I should’ve done more.”

Silverwing nuzzles her neck, “What could’ve you done, we both know that Lightning was and is the only one that could have handle this sort of thing,” he looks to their prince and friend, “if we were there with him we would’ve been the one’s putting him in danger we can’t deflect lightning strikes like he can Swiftstar.”

Swiftstar shakes her head, “I know but it’s how I lost my husband he died in a lightning storm even with Lightning trying to save him. I was there with him we did save him but he lost his life and both me and Lightning miss him as a friend and husband.”

Silverwing blinks, “Wait you mean,” he looks at her eyes wide, “you mean Jetstream was your husband and leader of the weather teams before he passed away,” he looks down as a tear runs his beak, “I remember I was in hospital with a broken wing and leg and I couldn’t go I want to be there to offer my support.”

Swiftstar sniffs and smiles, “you two always raced each other during sport but you both tied together each race,” she smile remembering the time they spent together growing up and finishing school as a class but as lifelong friends too, “I wish he was alive right now my daughter keeps asking to see her father and I take her to his grave but she ask if he is coming but I keep telling her that he can’t come back and I break down crying at his grave.” She buries her face in Silverwings feathers again.

“Shh easy easy there Swiftstar,” Silverwing puts a wing over her to hide her crying as he looks to Marthraloo who nods and leads both teams away with Lightning being moved on the cloud bed between them as he was still breathing, “tell you what how about I take you and your daughter out for dinner my treat then we can see if we can watch the sun set together.”
Swiftstar nods and shudders hugging him, “Thank you Silverwing I think I would like that and my daughter can see the friend I grew up with in person.”
Silverwing nods and smiles, “I wonder how long it has been when we were all together in one place,” he sighs, “you know with the news of Lightning in the hospital it’ll draw everyone back together and just trying to get everyone in one room is going to be hard even though Ben and Melisa are going to be standing guard at the door in shifts.”

Swiftstar nods and smiles as she wipes her tears away, “Truth in that but I want to make sure my daughter is okay fi...” she starts to say before a blur tackles her.

“Momma,” Miststreak hugs her mother even as Swiftstar hugs her daughter lovingly, “we heard screaming and then three teachers ran out before we heard two whistles being blown and two teams leave but they never came back.” She buries her face against her mother’s chest sniffing loudly.

“Shh my dear Miststreak everything is fine it’s just our Prince that is injured he was struck by a lightning strike while defending the school and the corps.” Swiftstar nuzzles her daughter as Silverwing walks over and smiles.

“Hello Miststreak,” Silverwing smiles and sits down next mother and child, “sorry if i leaved you alone but I was needed to help save our prince and my friend from falling hard to the ground and injuring himself anymore then he was.”

Miststreak nods and hugs Silverwing not caring if he was one of her teachers, “Was that why you lefted, Mr Wing.” She asks as he hugs her.

“Yes little one it was why I had to leave but you want to see the Prince in ponyson.” Silverwing smiles as Swiftstar moves over to them both and kiss his cheek.

“Come on Miststreak, let’s go home and get washed up before we go to see the prince.” Swiftstar smiles and nuzzles her daughter who nods.

Silverwing smiles and nods as he gets up blushing from the kiss, “That sounds like a good idea I’ll meet you both at hospital and then after we have seen Prince Lightning how about we all go out to dinner my treat.” He kisses Swiftstar’s cheek and smiles even as Miststreak giggles knowing what’s going on.

“Are you two going ever going to stop beating around the clouds and just confuse your feelings to each other?” Miststreak pout’s as she cross’s her forelegs over her chest as she between them.

Swiftstar giggles and smile’s, “Guess my daughter knows more then we let on.”

“That she does Swiftstar, that she does.” Silverwing smiles before kissing Swiftstar on the lips deeply as Swiftstar’s eyes go wide before closing them and returning the kiss.

“Gross but oh well.” Miststreak smiles as she looks up at the sky and smiles before seeing an outline of her father smiling before fading away as his ghost can rest knowing that his friend is going to be taking care of Swiftstar and Miststreak.

At the hospital as Stella was being taken care off she sees what to be a cloud bed being moved as she gasps seeing who was on it before looking to the nurse, “Get me Ben and Melissa now.”

The nurse nods and goes to call the ones she was asked to call before catching a glimpse of who was on the cloud bed before looking to Stella who nods as a tear runs down her beak before the nurse pony hurries along telling everypony to move out of her way as she reaches the call center and hits the castles guards line, “Get Ben and Melissa to the hospital now no questions ask it’s the Prince and Stella wants to see them both and this isn’t a DRILL.” She yells the last part as the guard on the other end answers her telling them that Ben and Melisa will be there soon.

“You two hospital now, no questions asked it’s Prince Lightning and Stella wants to see you both first now move it.” Greyheart yells to both Ben and Melisa as they had reported in and had given their report.

“Yes sir.” Both gryphon’s salute before taking off to the hospital at high speeds.

“Ben you don’t think anything has happen to Lightning that had to do with the scream we heard earlier, do you.” Melissa looks to Ben.

“I hope not, cause we are his personal guards but we were sent to help with making sure that elderly were safe first along with the family’s.” Ben sighs, *Please be okay Lightning if anything has happen to you we don’t know what to do.* he thinks even as the storm starts to die down after about four hours.

Back at the hospital Stella was in a gryphon style wheelchair with her leg in a cast as she waits for visitor’s to get the hospital as she had wheeled herself to Lightning’s room looking in before wheeling herself in as the doctor’s take some blood and run a few test, “The lot of you out before Ben and Melissa get here, if you have what need then leave please,” she looks at Lightning and holds back from crying, “I want them to see him before anyone else does because you’re going to have a big influx of visitor’s wanting to see and call the other guards the media is going to want to put this in papers and I don’t think he would want that to happen.” She looks at each of the doctor and nurse ponies before they nod as one walks up to her.

“Stella, we respect the request but also know that we’ll try everything to get him mended no matter how long it takes.” Silverstitch smiles as the other doctor’s and nurse’s walk out of the private room as she nods to Stella before leaving.

“Thank you but I’m not sure it’s something that can't be mended by medical means,” Stella looks at Lightning, “he was after all hit by lightning bolts while protecting the school.”

Silverstitch gasps softly as she looks at their prince, “Oh my. No wonder there is hole in the clouds between the school and the crops but if he was hit by lightning bolts then shouldn’t he been thrown.”

Stella shakes her head, “I don’t know seeing as I wasn’t there but we all saw was the magic blast upwards and then the hole appearing but most I would say would’ve felt the magic blast that went upward into creating the hole.”

Silverstitch nods and shudders, “I remember feeling that magic blast it was so much power just to throw back what was coming down.”

Stella nods even as Ben and Melissa knock on the door after getting directions to the room.

Melissa walks over to Stella and hugs her friend after seeing her friend’s leg in the cast, “Oh Stella I’m sorry to see like this, knowing that you love flying.” Melissa nuzzles her friend’s neck.

“I’ll be fine Melissa, I just have to take easy but I wouldn’t mind sharing this room,” Stella returns the hug and nuzzle, “just to keep Prince Lightning company and so that my daughter and husband can visit while I’m here and they can see Prince Lightning,” she looks to their prince and friend, “I just hope he wakes up soon.”

Ben looks to Silverstitch and nods putting a talon paw on her shoulder, “Don’t worry we’ll make sure it’s only Stella’s family can stay the longest to visit her.”

Silverstitch nods and smiles, “Thank you Ben and I’ll let the other doctor’s and nurse’s know too.”

Melissa and Stella start to catch on what has happen been going on before Ben clears his throat as they need to know what happen to their Prince and friend as Stella starts to tell them what she had seen and who she was with at the time knowing they’ll would talk to Swiftstar later on.

Ben and Melissa blink and shudder as they had heard Stella’s side of the events.

Ben nods and smiles kindly, “Thank you Stella, for telling us what happen while we were helping he elderly,” he looks to Lightning and sighs, “he always know when something was coming but when he said to help the elderly in getting inside before the storm hit. I guess he was right but we didn’t know anything about the event that took place before you meet up with Swiftstar.”

Melissa nod and look at their prince and friend, “Ben you stay here and I’ll go and see if Swiftstar can come back here and shed some light on what happen.”

“Melissa,” Stella sighs, “it’s getting late and Swiftstar would be home or someplace else. Not to mention she has a daughter take care off.” Stella looks at the time and yawns softly.

Ben nods and looks at the time, “Stella is right Melissa. Let the night watch take over in looking out for the city and everyone I’m sure they’ll be looking into what happen today at the school. We are the personal guards to Prince Lightning and we have a duty to do.” He looks to Melissa knowing she was right but it was getting late in the day and most if not all were either home or getting ready to go out to visit friends or family or even going out to find something to give to their prince as a gift.

Melissa nods and sighs looking at her friends before looking to the door as someone looks in, “Can we help you with something?” she asked.

“Just wondering where my momma is all.” Helen looks at the royal guards before being called into the room.
“Helen get your tail in here now young lady.” Stella smiles and looks at her daughter.

“Momma,” Helen runs over to mother before stop quickly with her wings flapping as she lifted herself up in the air, “what happen momma.” She looks at her mother’s leg as she lands back on the floor as her dad walks in.

“Helen, where did you run off too?” Cliff looks in and nods to both Ben and Melissa who look to Stella who looks up and smiles.

“Cliff, I hope Helen hasn’t be a talon full for you to pick up from school.” Stella ruffles her daughters head feathers lovingly.
“No trouble really we had to stop off to drop someone off at home before coming here and lucky we got home on time,” Cliff smiles to his wife and walks over to her, “we manage to catch the message that arrived for us.”

Stella nods and kisses her husband on his cheek, “I’m glad the message got home and to you both,” she smiles looking at her daughter, “momma is going to be in this room with the Prince okay so no noise’s to loud okay,” she looks to Lightning who only breaths deeply as he was still out of it, “promise me okay but at night you’re going home with your dad got it young lady.”

“I promise to be silent and not loud while visiting you and the royal guards and the Prince that saved the school.” Helen promise’s her mother.

“Good girl, now care to tell Ben and Melissa what you told me.” Cliff smiles looking to his daughter before nodding to Ben and Melissa.

“Yes dad,” Helen looks to her dad before looking to both Ben and Melissa nodding as she walks over to Ben, “I was sitting in class with everyone as we all had finished our work and had alittle time before the next class which was flight class for most of us, the unicorns had magic class next and then earth pony’s had different classes to go too. I was looking out the window hoping to stretch my wings in flight class when I notice something missing from the row of Lightning Rods that was put up before. I notice one of them missing and told the teacher who was also the head of the school safety and they sent a messenger off to tell someone from the weather team,” Helen looks up at Ben, “and that’s all I know.”

Ben nods and puts a talon paw on Helen’s head and ruffles her head feathers softly, “Thank you Helen that is something we need to tell the night watch but it’s very good of you for noticing it cause we now know how our Prince Lightning got this way but we don’t who long he was outside for.”

“If it helps Marthraloo and the other teachers had to all go to the school’s lightning bunker just in case the Lightning Rods weren’t doing their job which was about right before the next class started which was around 1:45pm today,” Helen blushes and smiles, “we heard Marthraloo and Prince Lightning talking too at about 1:55pm before we saw him leave to go back outside to protect the school and the crops that most of the students had done for their farming task,” She smiles and shudders remembering the scream they all heard from inside the school, “we all heard Prince lightning scream at around 4:45pm it scared us all even the teachers were scared.”

Mellissa nods and smiles, “Helen sweetie, most of the teachers grew up with your mom and dad along with Ben and me,” Melissa looks to Lightning as Helen tilts her head and looks to Melissa, “you see we all grew up in the same class doing the same classes and such but we always hanged out together as a group talking and chatting and planning for the weekend which always seem to head to Prince Lightning’s home at the time cause we could do what we wanted and trained, it all brought us together and showed us what we all could do . The reason why most were scared cause they would’ve thought that we lost our Prince and very close friend when you heard him screaming.” Melissa blinks back tears.

Stella nods, “Even here at the hospital we heard the scream too but most said that a force pushed the lightning bolts back and created a big hole in the clouds and then before any of us could talk more about it, we all see a medical team from the school rush in before the doctors and nurses put Lightning in this room.”

Helen yawns softly nodding off slightly as the day was long as she was starting to fall asleep.

Cliff smiles and nuzzles his daughter, “Come on sleepy head I think it’s time we went home got you to bed Helen.”
Stella nods and smiles, “I think so too Helen.”

“But I’m not sleepy,” Helen yawns and looks up to her mother and father, “besides I want to stay with mom for the night.”
Stella looks to Ben and Melissa who both nod to her.

“You asked to stay in this room Stella so it’s only fitting that family stay.” Ben smiles and walks over to the door and takes up one side.

Melissa smile’s and nods, “You’re both like family so I don’t see why not besides it would be nice to help out a young flyer with her homework.”

Cliff and Stella smile nodding as Helen goes up to Melissa and hugs her, “Thank you, thank you, thank you a million times thank you.” Helen smiles and looks to where Bed was sitting who only nods and smiles winking to her.

“Go on back to your mother and father young lady,” Melissa smiles and giggles seeing the wink and know what it meant, “I have work to do but both Ben and me are just outside the door.” She nuzzles the young gryphlet before walking to the door stand guard outside it.

Helen yawns and smiles before walking over to her mother and father and hugs them both as Melissa looks to Ben.
“Don’t think I didn’t see that wink Ben cause I know that wink all too well.” Melissa uses her tail to close the door silently.
“What wink, I didn’t wink at to no one.” Ben smiles and yawns softly.

“Oh don’t play that game with me Ben of the Royal guard,” Melissa smiles and takes her spot, “I know the wink and it meant teaching her more then she is ready for or to know about.”

Ben sighs and looks down, “I’m busted aren’t I.” he looks at the floor.

“Yes you are Ben,” Melissa giggles softly, “besides I know we were that age once but we can’t go around and teach the young ones what we learnt already it would be wrong to what we all did in the past and what we did to work together.”

“Okay I won’t teach anything to hard just the basic’s and easy stuff for flying, right.” Ben looks to Melissa who nods and smiles.

“That is fine with me Ben but right now we are on duty.” Melissa looks up and down the hallway for any sign of Silverstitch with any news.

Ben nods and folds his wings alittle closer to his body as he sits there as those that work there were trying to look in before Ben’s tail moved and closed the door letting Stella, her family and Lighting privacy.

Cliff was helping Helen with her homework as Stella looks on but staying near Lightning’s bed just in case he woke up.
Silverstitch comes back and nods to both Ben and Melissa, “Inside please.” With her was a folder as she walks in she sees Stella by the bed before looking to Cliff and Helen.

Stella looks up to Silverstitch and sees the folder, “Cliff can you can take Helen and get something eat it’s nearly dinner time, please.”

Cliff looks up to his wife before looking to Silverstitch as he nods, “Come on Helen, lets go and get something okay.”
Helen looks up and sighs, “But I want to stay here and keep doing my homework.”

“Helen if you go with your dad, you can pick out something before the news of where Prince Lightning is hits the paper’s tomorrow morning.” Stella looks to her daughter smiling.

“okay momma,” Helen pouts before putting down her feather, “but I get to pick out the gift right.” She looks to her dad how sighs.

“Yes Helen you can pick out the gift.” Stella smiles as she nods to her husband as he sighs softly.

Silverstitch smiles and nods as she was hugged by Helen who she hugs back, “You be good okay, also later on I may be able to let you see a young gryphon male who has come out of having his wing set back in place before the storm hit.”

Helen blinks and smiles nodding, “I’ll be good and behave Ms Silverstitch.” She lets go of Silverstitch and follows her dad out of the room who was waiting next to the door before leaving the rest with Silverstitch.

Silverstitch smiles and nods before making the sure the door was closed and the blinds shut, “We just run test on the princes blood and we are shocked at what we found,” she uses her magic to bring out a folded paper and handed it to Melissa, “on that paper is the results but in short terms only. In this folder is the more detailed results and I have asked that it stays with you both until you get back to the castle and give it to the royal doctor’s there.”

Ben nods and sighs, “Is there anything we should know about the result’s before the rest.” He looks to Melissa who puts the folder paper inside her guard uniform for safe keeping.

Silverstitch nods and looks back at the folder before taking a deep breath, “I can tell you that his blood is now flecked with electric blue blood flakes which we don’t know how they got there, because it could have happen when he was struck. Though I say he is very lucky to be alive and still with us in one piece too though his horn was glowing when had to dim the lights,” she lets all of them look, “we took a magic power sample and his magic isn’t what it was before even though his mane and tail are now electric blue we can’t change them back nor can we figure out how to do much or even wake him up.”

Ben and Melissa nod as they knew they would have to stay by their prince’s side while he was there, “We understand Silverstitch and thank you.”

Stella nods and smiles, “Thank you for sharing this info with me too. I won’t say a word to anyone about it, I promise.”
Silverstitch smiles and nods handing the folder over to Ben for safe keeping as he tucks it into his guards uniform, “I better go and see if the young male gryphon is ready for visitor’s, he’ll be happy to know that there is someone here to see him. The poor dear’s mother and father are here too but they were knocked out cold while escorting those that couldn’t make it to their homes into other places that would be safe for them.” She bows her head before turning and opening the door with magic as she made sure the blinds were open alittle as she leaves the room.

Stella nods and smiles, “I’ll be sure to tell Helen when she gets back.” She looks to Lightning who was still breathing deeply.
Ben and Melissa follow Silverstitch out of the room and take their positions on either side of the door again while sitting there they look about making sure no pony was going to get in and take photos of their prince as one reporter comes up to them.
“Excuse me but is Prince Lightning in there,” The news reporter unicorn Quicknote ask, “I would like to get his views on the what happen today with what went on.”

Ben sighs and nods, “He is in here but he won’t be answering question’s anytime soon. I’m sorry Quicknote but you can’t go in, only family are allowed in. I know how much getting the views on what happen today for the paper is but right now Prince Lightning is resting and recovering.”

Quicknote moves closer to the door, “Just one look to confirm that he is in here, please.” His magic was already on the handle ready to open it.

Melissa seeing knocks Quicknote backwards, “No is no Quicknote,” she walks up to him as her eyes narrow looking at him, “You have got your answer now be happy with it or you’ll be the one in the opposite room recovering from something that you walked into.” She growls softly.

Quicknote gulps and shudders backing up before nodding, “Okay, okay I’m going but one more question please,” he ask as he gulps, “Where were the personal bodyguards of Prince Lightning when he was brought here.”

Ben growls loudly, “We were helping the elderly get to safety and you should know Quicknote seeing as you were there too being escorted to safety with the elderly as you were doing a report for the paper.” He looks at Quicknote even as the hospital staff looks at Quicknote as some matter under their breath at the nerve of the unicorn reporter wanting to anger the personal guards of their prince.

“Oh right my bad then,” Quicknote gulps and backs up more, “just one question more if you both don’t mind.”
Ben looks away and eyes Quicknote’s, “One question more and that’s it.”

Melissa nods and growls, “Ask your question before we throw you out and you’ll be out of a job.”

Quicknote gulps and nods, “Okay ummm how do you feel knowing that everypony is going to be wanting to see Prince Lightning here and lining up to give him something or leave something for him?” he ask.

Ben and Melissa both sigh, “We’ll only be letting in some at a time but those we see lining up again will be asked to leave,” Ben looks down, “I know that many would want to line up to say thank you to him for saving the school mainly parents and teachers along with the students too.”

Melissa nods and turns around before walking back to her post by the door, “I know some of them will be doing things in school making cards and such or getting the whole school together for a photo,” she turns around and sits down on her hunch’s again, “I know some that went to school with us will be heading back with gifts and signed photos from their friends and family who know accept that we walk the same earth, breath the same air and fly in the same sky.”

Quicknote’s nods and smiles, “Thank you both and sorry if I wanted to see the Prince for myself but there are a lot of rumours going around and I wanted to put those rumours to rest.”

Ben and Melissa look at each before talking among them self’s frowning as they keep talking among them self’s before looking to Quicknote, “Fine one look and you can right about it but write anything that is a lie and it’s your job.” Melissa looks at Quicknote who smiles and bows.

“Thank you,” Quicknote walks forward and looks into the room after the door was open by Melissa, “oh my, that can’t be our prince.” He gasps looking at Prince Lightning.

“It is our Prince, Quicknote. There is no doubt about it.” Melissa closes the door and moves Quicknote back.

“I don’t understand if that is Prince Lightning, but what happen to his mane and tail not to mention his hoof’s.” Quicknote looks to Ben and Melissa.

Both Ben and Melissa shrug, “We don’t even know but we’ll keep everyone updated.” Ben sighs softly.

“Now please Quicknote no more question’s and no photo’s but please don’t let tell anyone okay it can go into the paper and now,” Melissa smiles, “we have job for you to take to the princess.”

Quicknote nods and gulps wondering what the job was.

“The message is this, Prince Lightning is in hospital. No one else is to know about this there is also a family stay in the same room with Prince Lightning to help monitor things.” Melissa looks to Quicknote wanting to make sure he got the message.
“Got it and umm what if I get stopped by the other guards.” Quicknote gulps shuddering.

“Tell them it’s far more important that what Princess Starsong is attending too,” Ben chuckles, “and knowing Princess Starsong, she’ll be alittle worried about her brother.”

Quicknote’s nods before dashing off to the palace Thundermane, to tell the princess about her brother.

Applebloom blinks looks at Prince Lightning, “What happen after that.”

Lightning chuckles and smiles, “It took me a week and a half to wake up. Though the gifts and cards along with my friends were there for me when I woke up though,” he looks to Luna, “I did missed out on our meeting and thank you for the lovely gift Luna it was very thoughtful.”

Luna blushes and kisses Lightning’s cheek lovingly, “I’m glad you did cause I had to find that Fire Ruby with Spike’s help though he did find more than one and I let him kepted two though I had to get Rarity to help me with the design of the necklace.”

Lightning nods and smiles, “I keep it safe locked in a lovely cyan blue jewel box with a pearl incrusted into the lid and in the shape of the moon.”

“Ewwwww, love talk,” Applebloom makes a face before looking to Lightning, “so is that how you got the second part of your cutie-mark?”

Lightning nods and smiles, “Yes it is young one but I advise don’t try it its only for those that are atune with the gift and not for those without it besides I can foresee you becoming a proud farmer with your own farm and a lovely family with a handsome colt and it’s not me that will be standing next to you but someone that loves you and wants you to know it.” He chuckles softly and looks to Applejack.

“Well damn, that story had me on the edge of my seat but next time partner how about not leaving lightning hoof marks on the floor when you walk,” Applejack points to the hoof marks on the floor, “unless it means something.

Lightning blinks and frowns looking at the marks, “Horse feathers that only happens if there is a big storm coming up and if I’m here then that means Equestia is in for one big lightning storm.” He shudders thinking of the storm that had happen years ago.

Luna see’s Lightning shudder and sighs, “I’m sure my sister will have everything ready before the storm hits.”

“That’s the thing its two storms one is the lightning storm and the other one is a different storm all together which I don’t know about.” Lightning gulps.

Lightning and Luna where standing outside of the Apple’s family home as they were getting ready to leave and head to Rarity’s place for their next visit as they were talking to Applejack and planning another visit that Lightning himself would make.

“Lightning I don’t know what to say with you wanting to help out on the Apple family farm.” Applejack thinks as Big Mac comes up next to her.

“Judging by his size and leg’s I would say he would have experience with bucking apple trees,” Big Mac looks to his sister,, “and with Zap Apple harvest coming up I’m sure we could do with the help in getting all the Zap Apple’s in before they disappear of the Zap Apple trees.”

Applejack nods and smiles, “I guess your right Big Mac besides the more help we get the better,” she looks to both Lightning and Luna, “we would like the help with the Zap Apple harvest.”

Lighting smiles and bows his head, “I will be there, just send me a letter and I will come to help out with the harvest of the Zap Apples and Big Mac was it,” he looks to Big Mac who nods, “your guess is right seeing as the royal family has its own Apple field and everyone helps out to harvest the apples even though we tend to have the biggest field but we share it with everypony.”

Big Mac nods and smiles, “I can tell we’ll get on just fine just don’t use magic to harvest the apples.”

“Trust me I wouldn’t dream of using magic to harvest apples though I will use magic if anypony gets injured I would need to teleport them to the hospital with myself of course.” Lightning nods.

Big Mac nods in understanding, “I understand that and I respect that too, you put others above yourself and that is a noble thing to do.”

Luna giggles and smiles nodding as she looks up at the moon, “Hmm I think we better get going if we are to meet Rarity next.”

Lighting nods and smiles bowing his head to both Applejack and Big Mac, “It was a pleasure to meet you both this night and do keep warm cause I have a feeling that tomorrow morning is going to be a little cold though I think it means that winter is coming, if I’m right.”

Applejack nods and smiles, “I would say so though we’ll be fine as long as we have enough food to see us though out the winter months which means,” She looks to Lightning, “you’ll be helping out with Winter Warp Up?”

Lightning blinks and thinks as he was asked the question, “I guess so though I would need to be told what team I would be on not to mention my own duties would need to be settle first.”

Applejack nods, “Understood though you’ll need sleep before the day so make sure you get some too.”
Luna smirks, “Oh I will make sure he’ll get some sleep though just don’t tire him out okay.”

Big Mac and Applejack nod before saying their goodbye’s to both the princess and the prince who take off waving goodbye.

“Luna you know I’ll get some sleep in even when I’m not busy with my duties I’ll take a nap.” Lightning follows Luna to Rarity’s home.

“I know you will but I can’t have you to tired out from helping warping up Winter which would mean the first new moon of the season.” Luna smiles and looks down before seeing Rarity’s home as she dive down slowing her descent down.

Lightning follows Luna down but slowing his descent a little more as he glides down enjoying the night air though his mane.
Luna lands first as folds her wings to body as she turns her head to watch Lightning land.

Lightning gently flaps his wings as lands silently next to Luna as her jaw drops open at how silent he can be.

“I didn’t hear a sound coming from your wings or when you land, why is that?” Luna ask him.

Lightning chuckles and smiles, “It’s because of my training Luna, not to mention it helps when sneaking up on pony’s that are waiting for you too.” He kisses her cheek softly.

Luna giggles and blushes smiling softly, “Mmmm you’re going to have to teach me how to do that.”

Lightning nods and folds his wings against his body as he gently knocks on the door of Rarity’s home.

Inside Rarity was working on the finishing touches of a dress when she hears the knock at her door, “Now I wonder who could be calling at this hour and this time of night.” She walks over to the door opens it before gasping at the sight that greeted her eyes before fainting.

Lightning blinks as he was about to introduce himself to the pure white unicorn, “Umm was it something I said or did.” He looks to Luna who giggles.

“No, no lighting I guess Rarity seeing two royal’s together standing at her door when she opened it might have done it,” Luna lifts Rarity up with her magic,, “though I think seeing a male alicorn would’ve done it more than anything else but I think she may have been hoping for another Alicorn with the same coloring as me.” She walks over to a small longue and place’s Rarity on it.

Lightning sighs before walking in as he closes the door with his magic before walking over to Luna and Rarity, “Is she always like this working late into the night.” He looks at the dress at that was nearly finished.

Luna nods and smiles, “Sometimes she works all night and though out the morning of the next day.” She too looks over to the dress and blushes as it was an order she placed.

Rarity slowly opens her eyes as they flutter open, “Princess Luna, what where am I…” she blinks before looking at the back of her sofa chair, “what did happen,” She looks from Luna then to the Alicorn standing next to her, “and who is this handsome stallion of an alicorn?”

Luna smiles and nuzzles her friend, “You fainted when you saw the prince of Stormdale and your inside on your sofa chair.”\

Lightning bows his head to Rarity, “It’s a pleasure to meet you. I’m Prince Lightning Hoof of Stormdale and may I ask what your name oh mare of pure white that shine’s crisp as the snow its self.”

Rarity blinks as she looks at Lightning holding back her excitement think, *A prince here in my shop and he just said that I am like the snow of that shines crisp.* She gulps softly and blushes. “It’s an honour to meet you Prince Lightning Hoof. I’m Rarity and I’m one of Princess Luna’s friends.”

Lightning smiles and looks around the shop and the dress’s that had been made for order’s and such along with one event that was coming up, “Rarity could I ask what event is coming up that has you so busy.”

Rarity blinks and looks to Luna before looking back to Lighting, “Why darling the Grand Galloping Gala is soon, give or take a month or two.”

Luna nods and sighs, “Rarity, the Gala is in four month’s time. Which reminds me, Lightning your invite as my guest and date and if my sister has a problem with that I’ll talk to her saying that I would like you to be there by my side?”

Lightning gulps and flicks his ear slightly as he heard that he was invited to the Grand Galloping Gala by Luna, “My dear Luna I be honoured to go as your date to the Grand Galloping Gala.” He bows to Luna deeply who giggles and blushes.

Rarity seeing this giggles, “Oh my, such the gentle colt you caught you’re self, Luna and he is handsome but he’ll need something to wear to the gala.”

Luna nods and whispers to Rarity, “Your right and I wanted to come here so that you can see him for yourself and so that you can get idea of what he is like and what you think of the colour’s you’ll use to make something for him.”

Rarity nods and giggles, “I like your way of thinking Luna though his blue mane and tail are different what colour are they.” She ask Luna in whisper.

“His mane and tail are Electric-blue and you see his cutie-mark,” Luna ask Rarity who nods, “try to do a pin or a clasp if you can.”

Rarity nods and smiles as she could almost see the design in her mind before she clears her throat, “Lightning could I trouble you for just one little thing.”

Lightning turns his head around as he was looking over some of the caps and hats that Rarity had in her shop, “Of course Rarity and what could that be.” Unknown to him he had just posed for Rarity who’s eyes light up.

“Just stand like that,” Rarity looks him over and nods before moving a two pieces of paper over to herself and a pen as she draws the outline of Lightning Hoof on the paper before drawing the image of a sky blue tuxedo over his front half with a cap covering his wing, “could you spread your wings please I need to get this design just right.”

Lightning nods before spreading his wings wide and up as Rarity and Luna’s eyes go wide just looking at him.

“My star’s daring have you ever thought of going into modelling you would be a hit with everypony,” Rarity draws the same pose of Lightning with his wings spread wide and up as she draws the same tuxedo but without the cape and nods, “I would think every mare and stallion would talk about you not to mention you would a good role model for filly’s and clot’s and the event’s you would be invited too.”

Luna nods and smiles blushing slightly, “He would make a good model but he would have to move here than and I wouldn’t want to keep him from his job in helping to run his kingdom with his sister.”

Rarity nods before blinking, “Sister, he has a sister.” She was thinking of a new design and such in her mind.

Luna nods, “Though she would be busy with running the kingdom and won’t be able to make it if she is over seeing something.”

Lightning nods and sighs, “Luna if you met my sister she is nothing but all work and no play and raising a little filly of her own with her husband.”

Rarity blinks and looks at Lightning, “So she won’t be coming cause of personal matters and such.”

Lightning nods and smiles, “Yes Rarity that is correct though me and my sister don’t get along well enough like we did when growing up but it’s something I have learned to live with and have pay no heed to it.”

Rarity nods and smiles, “Well then I guess I should get to work on these two outfits right now but I would be a bad hostess to you both.” She goes to put the outfit designs on the work wall before looking at both and smiles.

Luna looks at Rarity and sighs seeing the smile, “Rarity I know that look and I know what you’re thinking.”

Rarity blinks and looks to Lightning Hoof before looking back to the designs, “Hmmm I wonder what royal purple would like on him is all besides the blue would just clash with mane and tail.”

Lightning walks over Rarity’s work wall and see’s the blue design tuxedo, “Any colour would do Rarity besides you are the best from what I have read in the fashion mags about your shop and designs.”

Rarity’s eye light up before going wide, “You mean I would have total control over the colours of the over tuxedo.”
Lightning nods and bows his head, “If you think the blue would clash with my mane and tail then you can change it.”

Rarity blushes and gulps as she had this for friends once and then had them make changes to what they wanted, “No questions ask just your honest word on the design.”

Again Lightning nods and smiles as Rarity giggles. Luna smiles and lays down wondering what is going to happen now.
Rarity clears her throat softly, “How long are you both going to be here for I could start on the royal purple tuxedo?” she looks to Luna that was laying on her couch as another idea pops into her head.

Luna thinks and hums softly, “Hmm about two hours I guess. We did spend four hours with Applejack and her family and Lightning told a lovely story to Applebloom and warned her not to do anything like he did.”

Rarity nods and sighs, “Knowing Applebloom anything can happen with her and her friends though I’m wondering about Sweetie Bell’s lesson’s in magic but I think she has a wonderful career as a singer.”

Lightning blinks and frowns, “Hmm singing I know some crystal pony’s that like singing in a band but they are having a hard time in keep in tune maybe Sweetie Bell would like to join them. I’m sure they’ll be happy with a singer that can keep in tune.”

Rarity blinks and looks at Lightning, “You know the group of crystal pony’s known as Triveo?” She ask him.

Lightning nods and chuckles softly, “I wouldn’t go as far as knowing the group as the group Rarity. I knew them all before they formed the group Triveo.”

Rarity sways slightly as she was going to faint again, “Please don’t tell Sweetie Bell this if and when you see her but I love the group and I don’t want to give Sweetie Bell the idea of taking something away that she loves.”

Lightning bows his head to Rarity, “I won’t tell her Rarity besides we are burning time standing around and chatting.”

Rarity nods and blushes before directing Lightning to the big model stand as she brings over the royal purple fabric to measure and cut to length as she takes the measurement of Lightning’s front legs, chest, shoulders, neck size, along his back and where his wings are making sure to leave a little bit of extra for the tails of the tuxedo.

Luna watch’s Rarity work as she smiles watching Lightning’s tuxedo coming together as he stands there and moves each leg so that Rarity could make a small update or making it longer in each front leg so that it didn’t hide his fetlock’s from view.

Two hours pass as Rarity and Luna where admiring Lightning in his tuxedo as he stand in front of a three way mirror to take in the look of the Royal purple tuxedo.

“Mmmm Rarity, you out did yourself on this tuxedo. I’m sure Hoity Toity would be pleased to show case this tuxedo and to have Lightning pose in it for him.” Luna licks her lips wanting to tear the tuxedo of Lightning and do more then make out with him right there and then.

Rarity blushes and giggles nudging Luna softly, “Don’t get ideas of tearing or ripping it of him Luna. I would hate to fix this one tuxedo seeing as the fabric I used holds it design and is able to fix itself like new,” she couldn’t take her eyes of Lightning either, “though I wouldn’t mind joining in ripping it from him and doing anything you want with him.”

Lightning’s ear twitch as he looks to both Luna and Rarity, “Oh no don’t go getting any idea’s you two. I don’t want to you both with foal outside of marriage.”

Luna and Rarity pout and sigh before Luna leans in and whispers to Rarity, “See if you can make a another one but in black and yes I know it may seem but call it better judgement for now.”

Rarity nods and smiles giggling softly as she sighs thinking of what Lightning had just said to them, “True darling I wouldn’t dream of having a foal outside of marriage but if your ever back in town and do want to marry do look me up or even Luna or even both of us.”

Lightning blinks and sighs, “What did I just get myself into just now?” he sighs deeply and gets off the modelling circle stage and walks over to table as he uses his magic to take the tuxedo of himself and put it neatly on the table.

“Oh Lightning we are only teasing besides how did yo like the tuxedo.” Luna ask him as he looks to her.

“I don’t like it.” Lightning flicks his tail as he looks it over.

Rarity blinks, “You don’t like it.” She ask him as he shakes his head and looks at them both over his shoulder.

“No I don’t like it cause I love it,” Lightning smiles and walks over to Rarity, “I love the design and the collapse keeps it nicely in line along with the button’s. The size on the front legs are right and they don’t even sag.”

Rarity’s eyes go wide in surprise before she blushes deeply and giggles, “Thank you Lightning beside you are a very good model for doing the tuxedo I’ll be sure to put some trim on it so that it’ll be very more charming for you.”

Lightning smiles and nods, “Thank you, Rarity.”

Rarity blushes and smiles before turning to look at Luna, "Hmmm I'm not sure what dress you would like Luna."

Luna giggles and smiles, "Anything will be fine Rarity, besides it would be nice if it was something to match or something that would highlight my eyes or mane and tail."

Rarity giggles and nods, "I'm sure I can do something that might be of both but it would need to be different and anyway why don't you both stay for a cup of tea and we talk about the fashion's that Lightning Hoof has seen." she looks to Lightning Hoof and stands where was looking proud and content.

Luna looks over to Lightning and giggles as she see's him standing there proud, "Hmmm Lightning what you think about staying for cup of tea with Rarity."

Lightning looks to Luna and nods smiling, "I could do with something nice warm to drink," he bows his head to Rarity, "thank you for the offer ms Rarity."

"Oh no I'm not a ms and just Rarity will do," Rarity gets up from the sofa lounge as she heads for the kitchen, "Lightning do be dear and carefully take that tuxedo off I will like to finish it in the morning and I'll be able to start on Luna's dress for the gala."

Lightning chuckles and nods as he carefully takes the tuxedo off and folds it neatly on the table before following Luna and Rarity to the kitchen to have a cup of tea and chat for a bit.

30 minutes later after they had talked about fashion and extending a trade deal with Rarity that Lightning Hoof wasn't going to deny Rarity the chance to work some gems from his kingdom for some dress's that would look excellent on any mare.

Luna smiles and looks at the sky sighing, "Lightning I think we best be going seeing as we have Pinkie Pie to visit and then Fluttershy," she and Lightning where standing at the door saying their good-bye's to Rarity, "I want to save Rainbow dash and Twilight Sparkle for last that way I can get a letter to my sister telling her that I have met with my friends and that I'm okay."

Lightning nods and sighs, "I think your right," he bows his head to Rarity, "It was a pleasure to meet you Rarity and thank you for the tuxedo you made I will pay for it if you like me t.." he was cut off.

"Lightning, it’s a gift for helping Luna and keeping her company when she was upset besides if I was in Luna's hoofs I would have done the same thing," Rarity looks to Luna who had walked out the door and was looking at the moon, "please tell me you'll take good care her and make sure she isn't lonely I would hate for her to go Nightmare Moon again on all of us."

"Rarity I will give my word I will do everything in my power to protect Luna and keep her company but she needs her friends too don't forget that even I can see it in her eyes," Lightning smiles and leans closer to Rarity and whispers, "I may have a request later on sometime can I count on you."

Rarity blinks and nods, "what request would that be." she ask whispering back.

"I can't tell until after the gala which at which point I hope I have the gift I want to give to Luna is true." Lightning smiles before walking over to Luna and nuzzles cheek.

Luna nuzzles back giggling softly, "Ready to go," she ask Lightning who nods his head before the both look back and nod to Rarity, "See you next week Rarity, if not sooner."

"Thank you for the wonderful tea Rarity and I'll have those gems for you next week." Lightning smile’s before taking a running start to get himself into the air as he spreads his wings taking off from the ground as Rarity got her first look at his wing tips dancing in the moon light.

Luna smiles and giggles before following as she takes off from the ground and leads the way to Pinkie Pie's work place, Sugar Cube Corner.

Rarity smiles and walks back inside after waving to Luna and Lightning as she had a wonderful idea for the trim on the tuxedo and an idea for Luna's dress for the upcoming gala.

Meanwhile at Sugar Cube Corner, Mr and Ms Cake where busy rushing around getting things done as Pinkie Pie was foal sitting the foals as they never had two royals come to their store at once or at the same time.

“So Pinkie, both Princess Luna and Prince Lightning are coming here and you want to make the prince feel welcome?” Mr Cake ask Pinkie Pie.

“Yep, I just know Princess Luna is going to love him though I’m sure he looks like or what he does for that matter.” Pinkie Pie was carrying both Pound and Pumpkin Cake on her back as the twins were older and able to be carried around on Pinkie Pie’s back having been two years has past and the twins were starting to learn how to speak and such.

Ms Cake looks at the time and yawns, “I think we should get to bed and the foals need their sleep too.”

Mr Cake nods and walks over to Pinkie Pie as the twins yawn, “Come on you two, time for bed you have been up far longer than we would you to be.” Mr Cake lets Pound Cake climb onto his back even as Ms Cake takes Pumpkin Cake on her back as they head upstairs for bed not wanting to open until late tomorrow.

Pinkie watches and smiles as she waits as a knock from the door front door gets attention as she zips over to the door.

Luna giggles softly as she nods talking to Lightning outside as she had been wanting to get Lightning to meet the pink mare that loves throwing parties.

“Do I really need to meet her cause judging from what you told me she can be one subject and then another subject without thinking.” Lightning looks at Luna as he stands there.

Luna nods, “I do Lightning, besides you’ll love her bubbly personality and cheer.”

At that moment the door opens as Pinkie Pie smiles, “Hello princess Luna.” she greets Luna before gasping and zipping inside as she sees Lightning.

“Is she always like that.” Lightning sighs softly as he lets Luna walk in and cast a silent spell on the stairs and the ceiling and the doors to let the Cakes sleep.

“She is but only with those that she hasn’t meet before.” Luna nods as Lightning walks in and closes the door as Pinkie Pie comes back in with the treats that were made.

Lightning looks up at the treats and licks his lips, “Now those do look tasty enough to eat.

Pinkie nods and smiles, “Yep we have custard tarts, custard éclairs, chocolate éclairs, cheese cake, apple cake, chocolate moose, strawberries in chocolate….” Pinkie goes on to tell the rest of the treats before getting around to giving Lightning her, “silly me I forgot to introduce myself. I’m Pinkie Pie and your own birthday planner and wedding planner pony in one, I also foal sit and have been doing so for two years now for the Cakes.”

Lightning blinks still licking his lips, “It’s a pleasure to meet you Pinkie, I’m Price Lightning Hoof of Stormdale, Could I trouble you for some cheese cake it’s been a long time since I have tasted Strawberry Chessecake.”

Pinkie Pie nods and giggles softly, “Of course you can your highness the treats were made for both Luna and you to eat though that chocolate mud cake may not survive the night.” Pinkie points the Chocolate mud cake make from Jaffa’s and strawberry’s mixed into the mix.

Lightning nods and gulps as he was rather hungry along was Luna as they hadn’t had anything to eat. Before all three started to dig into the treats as Lightning takes a bite of the Strawberry cheesecake and just let the flavour wash over his taste buds.

“Mmmm now that is best Strawberry Cheesecake I have ever tasted in a long time. You know it’s hard to get the best tasting Strawberry Cheesecake just right and who ever made this made this perfectly to perfection.” Lightning swallows his first bite before starting to eat the rest of the slice he had on his plate.

Luna on the other hoof was enjoying some Cherry tarts as she enjoyed the taste of them along with some wiped cream on the side.

Pinkie Pie nods and as she was making sure to control herself and not wanting to give Lightning the wrong impression off her, “The Cakes made everything and I’ll tell them that you love their Strawberry Cheesecake.”

Lightning nods as he was helping himself to another slice with some apple tarts and wimped cream.

About hour had passed and all three were sitting back with full bellies as Pinkie had said the Chocolate mud didn’t survive the treat feast with all of them eating as much as they could.

“That was one good feed.” Lightning pats his belly before placing a hoof over his mouth to stop a burp from coming up.

Luna nods and smiles blushing, “Yes it was one good feed,” she looks to Pinkie Pie, “please give the cakes our thanks and I think Lightning would like that recipe for the Strawberry Cheesecake to take back home with him.”

Pinkie nods and giggles as she snorts slightly, “I’ll let them know Luna besides that treat feast was what we all needed with you two missing out on alittle midnight lunch.”

Lightning nods before burping loudly, “Excuse me.” He blushes slightly as Pinkie rolls over laughing as Luna giggles.

Lucky I had the foresight of casting the silent spell before the feast otherwise we would’ve woken up the Cakes up stairs.”

Lightning sighs and smiles, “That Luna is why I love you.” He kisses her cheek softly as Luna blushes deeply giggling from the kiss to her cheek.

“I know I have some Apple Cider in fridge anyone want any.” Pinkie pie gets up as she walks over to the fridge to grab three Apple Ciders from it.

A Falling out Part 6

Lightning smiles and closes his eyes as he glides through the night sky even with Luna flying behind him watching every move he makes as they both fly through the night sky making their way to Twilight’s and Rainbow’s home.

“So Luna do you always get to fly at night like this?” Lightning ask as he does a loop-de-loop before flying up as he spins slightly before breaking the spin as he spreads his wings wide as the moon light catches his wing tips making Luna stop just to watch him.

“Sadly no but I would like more nights like this where I can just enjoy my night and take the time to visit those that work at night.” Luna smiles admiring Lightning’s display giggling softly so she watches her moon light catch on his wing tips.

“That is a shame Luna,” Lightning descends back down to where Luna was, “visiting those that work at night would be a good way to improve relations with those that work at night. Mainly the night clubs and such along with other places like those that give night tours.” He smiles and flaps his wings.

Unknown to both of them someone was watching or more liking following them as she keeps a safe distance from them not knowing what this other alicorn can do, “Finally I found you and yet I still don’t know what you’re like only that I you have answer’s I need.”
Lightning and Luna continue flying towards Twilight’s and Rainbow’s home unaware that they were being followed by someone else.
“So Lightning do you fly at night in your kingdom?” Luna asks as she was flying next to him.

“I do, mainly to visit some night clubs to enjoy music or to catch up on news with old friends or even catch up with them for drinks or dinner or even both.” Lightning smiles as he spots Twilights home pointing to the library in front of them. Luna nods and glides down to land first as Lightning fly’s behind her.

“Perfect,” the lone follower smiles before descending at top speed, “now I can get the answers I need about your kingdom.” She smiles.
Luna lands and turns to watch Lightning land, “Now that flight was enjoyable even with the little you did.”
Lightning smiles as he flaps his wings landing behind Luna, “Think you Luna and yes it was an enjoyable flight to ha-” he was cut by something hitting him and pinning him to the ground.

“Now I need answers to my question and you’re going to give me them got it.” She growls as she places her talons against his neck as there was loud breaking of something under him.

Lightning screams out in pain as he felt something break under his body with the weight pressing him, “Get off me.” He screams even he feels the talon’s against his neck as he shudders even as Luna gasps hearing the loud snap which causes Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle to come out from the library to see was going on.

Rainbow Dash looks around before spotting what was going on before tackling the thing that had Lightning pinned to the ground, “Ok you why did you attack Lightning.”

The female squawks loudly before looking up to the one that tackling her, “Rainbow Dash what are you doing here.”
“Gilda what the hay are doing attacking Luna’s guest like that for.” Rainbow Dash glares at her former friend.

Luna was beside Lightning as she helps him get up before noticing his wing, “Lightning your wing it’s, its broken.” She stares at his wing.
Lightning groans and shudders before winching in pain as he tied to move his now broken wing as he lays there next to Luna, “What attacked me.” He gets out as Twilight was next to both him and Luna with a first aid kit.

“Gilda do you how much trouble you’re in right now for this little stunt,” Rainbow Dash lets her former friend up as she walks over to Lightning, Luna and her love Twilight, “how bad is his wing, Twili.” She ask her mate.

“Bad and you saw Nebula’s wing right,” Twilight sighs, “he isn’t going to be flying for weeks,” she looks over to Gilda and glares, “Rainbow you stay here while I’ll talk to Gilda about her behaviour.” She gets up and walks over Gilda as Rainbow stays near Luna and Lightning.
“Rainbow Dash what happen ou-” Scootaloo gets out as she looks at what was happening as Sweeitbelle looks out and gasps, “Rainbow he needs to get the hospital now.” Scootalook looks at what Sweetiebelle saw and gasps loudly seeing the broken wing of alicorn.
“We’ll get him their but the only problem is flying is out of the question along with teleportation cause we don’t know if it’ll cause more damage or make it even worst for Lightning.” Rainbow Dash sighs as Luna rubs Lightning’s back trying to help ease the pain was going through his body.

“Easy Lightning, it’s going to be okay.” Luna nuzzles his neck as he whimpers and shudders with the pain.
“Spike,” Scootaloo yells back into the library, “I need you to send a letter to Princess Celestia now.” She heads back.
Spike comes with a quill and parchment from down stairs, “Ready and able.” He holds the quill above the parchment before starting to write as Scootaloo tells Spike to what to write before he sends it.

“Done and done.” Spike breaths green flames over the scroll sending it to Princess Celestia.
Outside Gilda was cowering over the onslaught of Twilight yelling at her even as Twilight’s eyes glow light purple.
Luna for her foresight had cast a barrier so that Twilight’s yelling wouldn’t wake anyone else up.

“And another thing if you so much as pull something like this off again I’ll pluck every feather off you cause no one and I MEAN NO ONE DOES SOMETHING THAT STUPID AND RECKLESS TO HURT SOMEPONY.” Twilight yells at Gilda from inside the barrier that was over them as Gilda gulps and shudders.

“Fine just stop yelling at me.” Gilda cowers alittle more with the thought of having her feathers plucked.
“I’LL KEEP YELLING UNTIL TOLD OTHER WISE TO STOP.” Twilight breaths heavily as she keeps her eyes on Gilda who gulps and looks to the Princess Luna who just glares back at her knowing that she needs the yelling at.

Lightning shudders as Rainbow Dash uses some of the bandage’s from the first aid kit to try and keep his wing still, “I wish Fluttershy was here, she would be able to splint his wing but I don’t know if I’m doing this right.”
Lightning shudders more as the pain starts to subside, “Thank you Rainbow and for a first timer you doing good.” He smiles weakly as he allows Rainbow Dash to continue.

“Hehe thanks but I really think getting you to the hospital soon would be better seeing as you can’t fl-” She blinks and face-hoofs, “why didn’t I think of it before just now.”
Luna looks to Rainbow Dash, “What is it Rainbow Dash.”

Rainbow Dash smiles, “What about using the clouds to get him to hospital it’ll be faster and safer right.”
Luna nods and smiles, “Good idea Rainbow Dash. I’ll go can get the clouds we’ll need to move Lightning to the hospital.”

Lightning nods, “It’ll work but that isn’t all that might need tending too.” He groans and shudders before his eyes close as he faints.
“LIGHTNING.” Both Luna and Rainbow Dash yell out as he faints before Rainbow Dash gently moves his wing up and spots the hole that a bone had made, “Not good, not good,” Rainbow Dash places a hoof gently against the hole to help stop the bleeding before looking to Luna, “go and get those clouds I’ll stay here and keep him company but we’ll need to move him once you the clouds we need.”
Luna nods before kissing Lightning’s cheek as she pushes off from the ground and into the night sky heading to Cloudsdale to get the clouds.

As Luna was flying to Cloudsdale at top speed the letter that Scootaloo had Spike write appears in Celestia’s room above her head before falling onto her head which bounces onto her bed.
Celestia groans softly as she felt the scroll bounce off her head as she blinks her eyes, “Huh who would be writing at this hour.” she uses her magic to pick the scroll up and un-rolls it as she starts to read it.

Dear Princess Celestia,

It’s me Scootaloo writing to you just to let you know that Lightning Hoof was attack outside of where I am now living by Gilda, Rainbow Dash’s old friend. Twilight is outside yelling at Gilda for what she did as Lightning now has a broken wing and something else that I don’t know about.
Please tell Prince Nebula as soon as you can though because I have a bad feeling that Lightning Hoof may not fly for two weeks.

Celestia blinks and gets before teleporting herself into Nebula’s room, “Nebula wake up its about Lightning something has happen to him.” She nudges his cheek softly as he blinks and groans, “Celestia it’s nearly the middle of the night.” He blinks his eyes as wakes up before Celestia drops the scroll in front of his face.

“Read it,” Celestia lays down in front of Nebula as he starts to read the letter, “it just came waking me up from my own sleep.” She waits for Nebula to finish reading it as he looks up at her with his eyes wide.

“I need to go to him now.” He starts to get up as he looks to the window wanting to get to his nephew’s side.
Celestia sighs and unfurls a wing, “Nebula as my guest I can’t allow you to go off. Luna and her friends are with him even though Twilight is giving a certain gryphon a telling off for what she has done but you aren’t in any shape for flying or even for moving as of that matter.”
“What do you want me to do I just can’t sit here while my nephew is hurt, do you.” Nebula looks at her with worry in his eyes that his nephew may not fly for two weeks.

“I do plus add the amount of the magic you’ll need for the healing of his wing and you’ll be stuck at Twilight’s and Rainbow Dash’s home until morning where I would need to come to pick you up from not to mention the loss of sleep you get with Scootaloo asking you question’s and such.” Celestia smiles softly as she stands up and gently pushes Nebula back down onto his bed.

Nebula allows himself to be pushed back down on his bed as he sighs dropping his head going over what Celestia had said, “You’re right but I’m still worried about Lightning.”

“I know you are but rest besides I think we can share one bed for the rest of the night.” Celestia smiles as she puts a wing over Nebula as he nods nuzzling her cheek.

“Agreed but that answer to my question still needs answering.” Nebula smiles as he yawns, laying his head back down to get back to sleep.
