Chapter 1
Chapter 1: Where are They?
“GAH!” Twilight Sparkle woke up with a scream. She had the most terrible nightmare, and she had forced herself to wake up. It was pouring rain outside, along with the occasional thunder or lightning.
“What happened tonight?” Spike asked Twilight Sparkle. Spike had heard her talk about her strange dreams.
“It terrible...” Twilight Sparkle told Spike, “There was this pale creature, and evil armored ponies, and an evil man, and there was-”
“Twilight Sparkle, are you sure this isn’t one of your future dreams?” Spike interrupted.
“No! It was just a bad dream!” Twilight Sparkle responded, tiredly.
“Sure, Twilight, sure...” Spike finished, going back to sleep. Twilight Sparkle also decided to nod off to sleep as well.
Meanwhile, across town, Fluttershy was sleeping in her small, fluffy bed. It had bright pink blankets, with pillows stuffed with the softest down, given to her by her bird friends.
Suddenly, a small screech could be heard from Fluttershys meadow. Fluttershy immediately woke up, put on her rain gear, and walked outside nervously, to see what had made the noise.
“H-Hello...” Fluttershy announced her presence, trying to gain whatever was in her meadows attention. A humanoid shape appeared from a bush, and looked at Fluttershy.
This creature was human in shape, though it was much thinner. It had long fingers, large blue eyes, a bald head, and and a small mouth. Whatever it was, it was scared.
“Are you okay?” Fluttershy asked the creature, walking towards it. The creature kneeled down, simply looking at Fluttershy. It slowly advanced towards Fluttershy, trying its hardest not to make a noise.
“Pony?” The creature asked.
“Yes, my name is Fluttershy” Fluttershy introduced herself, “What is your name?”
“Jakal...” The creature introduced himself. It held its hand out, and Fluttershy touched hands with Jackal.
“Would you like to come inside?” Fluttershy offered Jakal, to which he nodded, and the two went inside to weather the storm.
The next day, it was still pouring rain, and very few ponies were out and about. However, it was odd that a rain would last this long. It was Rainbow Dash’s job to keep everything relating to weather in working order. Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie met to discuss the strange occurrence.
“Where the heck is Rainbow Dash?” Rarity asked the group.
“She’s probably doing something Wonderbolts related...” Applejack suggested.
“But would she really neglect her duties this much? And during summer of all times?” Twilight Sparkle pointed out.
“You make a good point!” Pinkie Pie cheerfully stated, “Let’s go to her house!”
A few minutes later, they reached Rainbow Dash’s apartment, and buzzed themselves in. When they got in to Rainbow Dash’s apartment, it looked ransacked. Books were turned over, clothes were all over the place, and there was claw marks on the walls, indicating a break in.
“We need to call a search party! Check to see if other tenants went missing!” Twilight Sparkle assigned the group, “Applejack, I want you to see where Fluttershy is and what she is doing right now, okay?”
“Can do!” Applejack responded, running to Fluttershy’s place. A few minutes later, Pinkie Pie and Rarity returned from their search.
“Another pegasus went missing named Cloud Kicker!” Rarity reported to Twilight Sparkle.
“And two unicorns, named Sea Swirl and Minuette!” Pinkie Pie added, “Along with two earth ponies, named Daisy and Golden Harvest!”
“That makes six!” Twilight Sparkle stated.
Meanwhile, Applejack had reached Fluttershy’s house, and began to knock on her door. Applejack knew that Fluttershy could be anti-social, but not to this level.
“Fluttershy! Open this door now!” Applejack ordered. She grew impatient and simply kicked down the door, style wasn’t Applejacks strong suit. She looked through her house, and saw Fluttershy and Jakal. When she saw Jackal, Applejack screamed.
“Wait!” Fluttershy stopped Applejack, covering her mouth, “He’s a friend of mine!”
“Friend?” Applejack whispered to Fluttershy.
“Friend...” Jakal said, walking towards Applejack, trying to smile. He held out his long, thin hand, looking for some form of attention. Jakal looked like he hadn’t eaten food, drank clean water, or had some simple love and care in a while.
“Yes, Friend” Applejack responded, touching his hand.
“Well, this is Jakal, Applejack” Fluttershy introduced her friend to Applejack.
However, in a large, oddly-shaped mechanical base area, a new scheme of evil was being hatched. A single, human-like being walked through the halls of the sinister location. This human-like being had a toned figure, red hair, blood-red eyes, a large black trenchcoat, and a nasty grin
“Now, my six...awaken!” The man yelled as Rainbow Dash, Cloudkicker, Sea Swirl, Minuette, Daisy, and Golden Harvest were lifted, each one bound to a table like structure.
“Come to me!” The man ordered as he released the six. However, instead of escaping, the of them six seemed to obey his every command.
“Master...” Rainbow Dash moaned as she rubbed up to the man. The man stroked Rainbow Dashes mane, causing her to purr like a cat. He also began to rub Sea Swirls mane, causing her to purr as well.
“Am I a good pony?” Golden Harvest asked her master.
“Yes you are!” The man told Golden Harvest, stroking her mane.
“I love you, master” Daisy told her master.
“Good girls...” The man cooed, letting his six slaves rub against him affectionately, “You girls are very important to me!”
“Really?” Minuette asked her master, rubbing against him affectionately. The man nodded gleefully.
“You shall be used to take over these lands that I have discovered...” The man stated, now laughing evilly. “This land shall be mine, or my name isn’t Kalvus Blood!”
“But how will we do that?” Rainbow Dash quietly asked her master.
“I can’t tell you now...but you shall know soon enough...” Kalvus Blood informed her.
Outside of Ponyville, a portal opened. Out of the portal came a man with white hair, blue eyes, wearing a blue and silver spandex suit, along with silver-colored lightweight armor. He had two futuristic laser-pistols in two gun holsters.
“Mission Report Forty-Seven” This man recorded, “I’ve arrived. Now my next directive is to retrieve the escaped prisoner, and bring him to justice. Joseph Lion out!”
