Before the Mane Six, their were six ponies who were the embodiment of the Elements of Harmony.
Discord, Chrysalis, Sombra, Luna, Celestia, and an unknown pony once controlled the Elements of Harmony. How did they do it? And why was the sixth pony kept a secret for so long? Most of all will history repeat itself? Find out in SIX ELEMENTS.
So let's get something straight: we all know about Chrysalis, Luna, Celestia, Sombra and Discord. But there was a sixth pony named Night Crown that was never told about in the history books. Here is how they worked together: Luna was in charge of the moon, Celestia was in charge of the sun, Chrysalis looked after emotions, Sombra looked after negative thoughts, Discord looked after fun, and Night Crown took care of the balance between light and dark. Many ponies considered Night Crown's job to be far more important than anypony else's.
Night Crown was a periwinkle alicorn stallion with slitted red eyes, a light gray and dark blue striped mane cut on one side so that one end was higher than the other, red and black striped natural tail and he always wore cape that matched the blue in his mane His forelegs were said to have been dipped in shadows as a colt because of how they looked, which made some ponies scared of him. But he was really nice and usually settled most of the fights in Canterlot no matter what.
Another thing that was different about Night Crown was how he met the other five. Celestia and Luna had been discovered as children by Galaxia, Discord's egg had been found, Chrysalis was just a normal pony and so was Sombra. They were all orphans under Galaxia's care, but Night Crown was not an orphan. His fate was far worse.
Because he looked different and was an alicorn, his parents hated him and thought he was bad luck. They tried to kill him. One day, after a bad beating, he dragged himself to Galaxia, bleeding a begging for a new home. Galaxia took him in, asking no questions and grooming him to become a Keeper of Harmony.
Discord controlled Laughter. Luna controlled Loyalty. Celestia controlled Generosity. Chrysalis controlled Kindness. Sombra conrtolled Honesty. Night Crown controlled magic. Night Crown became of utmost importance when he was the one to finally banish Cerberus.
Chrysalis and Celestia was secretly in love with him, and Discord was his best friend.
Little did they know that Night Crown would be the first to become evil
As a colt he was cruelly dipped in shadows, but nopony realized just how long the corruption would stay in his system. Because his hooves had been soaked so completely, there was no way he could ever be truly good. he tried and tried with all his might but it was far too difficult. Finally, he snapped and killed Galaxia. It was a horrendous sight: her pale body on the cold floor, her chest splattered with red as it pooled beside her. The black on his shadow infected hooves was stained with the stuff, created a cloak of red dust that followed him wherever he trotted.
Distressed, Celestia ran to her room, about to kill herself from grief. He is the only colt I ever loved, she thought, and now he is evil. He will never love me and we can never be together.
Only Lun was able to help her to see that maybe there was hope, though there was none. they looked for the elements of harmony. since they had never had to use them without Night Crown before, they didnt know what would happen. each pony put on their Elements, and in a fit of terror Discord put the final crown Magic on Galaxia. that was the crown that once rested upon Night Crown's head, but the poor stallion was so engrossed in his newfound evil and self-torment that he couldn't handle the purity of the Element of magic. He did however, try to corrupt it but the bit of magic escaping from Galaxia's death kept him from doing so. The elements failed to work, so they had to find a plan A. Celestia just grabbed the crown and used her magic to make it artificially powerful, which managed to sort of defeat Night Crown. He was banished to the Everfree forest, forced to live among the wild animals.
Nobody knew what had become of Night Crown, but one day in her loneliness Chrysalis ventured into the Everfree. She found him summoning a Shadow Phoenix, an evil version of the gorgeous bird that spread mischief and hatred wherever it flew. When it burned itself into ashes, not only did it reincarnate but it also made it's owner stronger. Many evil ponies summoned them and tried to set them afire so they could become infinitely stronger.
"Chrysalis! What are you doing here!" Night shouted in rage. A small part of him didn't want to hurt his former friend, but his corrupted part was growing stronger and stronger. He was starting to want to kill her.
Chrysalis sniffled a bit and asked, "What are you doing? Why did you leave? I love you, Night Crown!" She galloped towards him, her horn glowing pink. She was going to try and purify him and maybe cats a love spell as well. Chrysalis was sneaky like that.
"Get... away from... me!!" He sent out a pulse of dark green magic, sending Chrysalis flying into a tree. Her skin turned oily black and her mane turned green blue. She had holes every where and her beautifully feathered wings become gossamer bug wings.
She let out an evil laugh. "My true self has been freed," she cackled, and flittered away as fast as she could. She would go on to create a changeling and begin her reign of terror on all of Equestria.
How and what would happen to Sombra? Would he fall prey to his tormented former brother? Would he corrupt himself?
Discord was playing with a magic spell when Sombra suddenly walked in. Discord went to show him his trick. "Hey Sombra! Watch this!" He took an energy ball and turned it into a chicken.
"That's so cool," Sombra said. "I wanna try." He formed a ball of energy on his horn and tried to turn it into matter, but it suddenly crackled and fizzled, exploding in a ball of gooey zappy tar that coated him from top to bottom. He licked it all off with his unnaturally long tongue and teleported to the north, summoning crystals to build his kingdom. He would rule the Empire that lay before him.
Discord was stunned. It had all happened ridiculously fast; he barely knew what had happened; he was scared and alone. Celestia and Luna were busy shopping.
Night Crown snickered as he gazed into the pond, watching the library where the lone Discord stood. He had done it. He was starting to get to all of them. Only three to go.
