> The Tale of the Princess' Daughter > by RandomFandomPony > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > The Lost Princess > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Are you absolutely sure Luna?" the distraught princess asked her sister, "The stars could always be wrong! It has not been the amount of time that Discord has said that it would be!" "I am absolutely positive Tia!" Luna exclaimed. She moved toward her sister and gave her a heartfelt hug. "Trust me sister, the stars don't lie." "I know that Luna," Celestia said meaningfully as she looked out toward the sky, "It is just that I am afraid, afraid that she will not remember me! Oh Luna, what will I do if she doesn't remember me?!" "You will just have to help her get used to being with you," the lunar princess said as she adjusted some stars that were in a fight, "Don't force her to do things. Try and just give her some space if she needs it and be there when she needs you to be there no matter what you are doing." "Luna," Celestia said as she looked at her sister, thinking about when she had to banish one of her best friends to the moon, "I do not know what I could do if i ever lost you again. If I lose her, I could never be the same." "Sister, please," Luna said as she looked lovingly at her sister, "Try not to think of all of the bad things! How about we think about how she was lost so that we can be even more happy when we find her?" "Alright dear sister," Celestia said as she laid her head onto her pillow, "I shall try and think of every last detail." The princess then fell asleep, dreaming of how she lost her precious filly. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was the beginning of the reign of Discord and all of Equestria was in chaos. Discord had sent the two princesses to the dungeon and placed magic blockers that only he could remove. Celestia was kicking at the iron door with all of her might, hoping that she could do something to get out of this awful place. She could hear ponies screaming and calling for help, yet she could do nothing to help them. "Luna!" She called to her sister who was sleepily sitting in the corner, "Help me! Discord sent us down here but he didn't send her down! Luna, get up! " "Tia, we are weak!" Luna said wishing that Celestia would let her sleep, "We cannot help you. We wish we could help but our magic is gone!" Celestia looked at her sister, wishing that she could help her. She kicked at the door with all of her might; faster, faster, as hard as she could. Finally, without warning, the door flung open and in walked none other than the Lord if Chaos. "Greetings Tia," The snake like creature said as he leaned into her, "I hear that you have misplaced something; well, somepony. Would it happen to be this charming filly?" Discord raised a mirror for Celestia to look at; the image surprised her. It was the image of a filly chained to a pole; the filly was crying. "Now," Discord said, and with a snap of his talon the chains that were holding the two sisters back vanished, "I'm terribly bored! It's no fun taking over with nopony to try and stop me." "Discord," Celestia roared, "Release her at once!" "Why?" Discord asked as he showed her the mirror again, the filly was no longer on a pole, but a catapult, "When you say the magic word i shall release her and the strings holding the catapult down." "Never!" "Correct!" Discord exclaimed as Celestia watched in horror as her filly was shot into the air and out of sight. Discord than vanished to reek more chaos. "NO!" Celestia exclaimed as she bolted for the door, "Dicord! Come back, coward!" "Sister!" Luna exclaimed, "we cannot defeat him on our own! We must go find the tree that Starswirl told us about, years ago!" "Luna..." Celestia signed, "will it work?" "We can only hope that it will..." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shining Star was your average pegasus. She was blue with a deeper blue mane and a gold star for a cutie mark. She lived in Ponyville, right next to princess twilight's castle. The view was spectacular, and she loved being able to look at the castle. Next week was the wedding of Rainbow and Soarin and Star had been asked to fly with the wonderbolts to form a beautiful heart when they finished their vows. She squealed like a school filly when she was asked.Yes, everything in her life was perfect... But then it all went downhill. It all started one peaceful day that was supposed to go perfectly... "Hey Star!" Scootaloo, her best friend, yelled as she came running up, "you'll never guess what happened last night!" "What, did Featherweight finally propose?" Star asked with a grin. "Actually, yes!" Scootaloo beamed as she showed her the ring. "Woa!" Star said as she took a good look at it, "Cool! I can be your best mare, right?" "Of course!" Scootaloo said as she wrapped her friend in a hug, "I wouldn't have it any other way!" They both hugged for a while before a total guard came by. "Excuse me, but I am looking for a Morning Star. Would you happen to know her? " I am she, " Star said nervously, "who's asking?" "The princess Twilight requested your presence at her castle" "Oh " Star said with a sigh, "it's probably wedding stuff... I'll be there in a bit!" "Now" "What? " I was asked to escort you as soon as I found you. " "Oh," she said as she turned to Scootaloo, "catch you later?" "Sure!" Scootaloo said as she skipped toward sweet apple acres. "Ok, let's go." "Right this way."
