Fluttershy and Discord are in war between the ponies and the draconequus, but when they meet they look past their differences.
There is war between draconequus and ponies. While Fluttershy Spys on the Dracconquses, Discord and Fluttershy meet. They soon become fond of eachother. But what happens when their Generals find out?
I know I didn't put this in before but I'm doing it now: There will be gore and sexual themes. Nothing too crazy. But if you are not pleased with this, I suggest you either stop reading or just don't.
"Solider Fluttershy..." The rainbow maned general cleared her throat, "I have a very important task for you."
Fluttershy was scared out of her wits, she didn't know why she was called down to the general's office, and she didn't think she was the type to have an important task from the general herself.
"A-and what w-would t-that be?" Fluttershy asked carefully, she did not want to insult the cyan pegasus.
The general looked straight into Fluttershy's eyes, which made Fluttershy very uncomfortable.
"As you know, we are having disagreements with dracronequi, thus sending us into war. The task I'm giving you is the most important task I have ever given to a pony, it's also a very dangerous task..." The general said still looking aton how Equestria should work. The dracronequi thought everything should be chaotic and fun, they ponies thought how no pony would have to starve with the draconequus's cotton candy clouds but they still had responsibilitys and with the draconequi around they would not be able to accomplish them with all the chaotic things around. Ponies thought the species were freaks. But there was another reason ponies did not want draconequi around, the ponies thought the other species were too different.
"I need you to spy on the draconeiquus, I need you to learn about what they are planning. In the Everfree Forest there is a secret hideout that the monsters have-" the general said before being cut off.
"You want me to do WHAT?!?! With all due respect general Rainbow Dash, I don't think I can do this, I'm not really the type that can handle this..." Fluttershy interrupted.
General Rainbow Dash eyed Fluttershy, the shy winged pony shrunk under the general's cold gaze.
"I know what I'm doing solider, I've known you the longest so I trust you. And, you are the quiet so I highly doubt they will hear you." The cold gaze that she was once giving Fluttershy turned into a look of determination, "But Fluttershy, you have to be brave! Remember this is war! So do not disobey me, private!" She commanded.
Fluttershy quickly nodded, knowing that if she displeased the general...let's just say bad things will happen.
"Y-yes ma'am!" Fluttershy squeaked and saluted to the general.
"Now please, make your way to the forest." General Rainbow Dash said leading Fluttershy to the door.
Before the general shut the door she raised her eyebrow and said, "Good luck."
Fluttershy nodded and smiled weakly before walking away.
"They won't know what hit 'em" general Rainbow Dash muttered once she was alone.

Fluttershy knew what hideout general Rainbow Dash was talking about, every pony knew. But the fact that the hideout was in the Everfree forest was making Fluttershy most uneasy, she had heard stories of ponies going into the forest and never coming back. She never really went inside the forest alone, she would usually be with solider Twilight Sparkle or general Rainbow Dash, but now she had to go inside the forest and spy on the enemy. Fluttershy wasn't the strongest pony and she knew it, so if she were to be caught she would not be able to fight back.
'I wonder what the enemy actually looks like...' she thought.
Now that she actually thought about it, she never really seen a dracronequus, ever. Every pony said the creatures were freaks of nature and looked nothing like ponies, except for the ones who had body parts of a pony. Fluttershy had heard that dracronequi were made up of all types of animals, but she didn't know how to imagine that. But from the way every pony described them, it would just make her more afraid of the enemy.
Fluttershy was still trotting to her headquaters when some pony called out to her.
"Hey Fluttershy!" Cried a familiar voice, "Why were you called to the general's office?"
Fluttershy turned around to see a purple unicorn with a bright smile, Fluttershy smiled back.
"Oh, the general needed me for um a mission..."Fluttershy trailed off.
"Oh! What type of mission?" Twilight asked.
"She wants me to s-spy of t-the enemy..." Fluttershy said quietly, not knowing if the general wanted every pony to know.
Twilight's mouth hanged open, the dracronequuses were capable of a lot of things, some you don't even expect. So the news that the general wanted Fluttershy to spy on them, well it was certainly a surprise to the unicorn.
"Are you gonna be okay? Cause, you know, that is kinda a dangerous mission..."Twilight asked Fluttershy with concerned eyes.
"I'm sure I'll be fine." Lied Fluttershy, she was anything but sure.
"Well okay..." Said Twilight unconvinced, "Well be careful." After that she left.
Fluttershy continued on her walk to her headquarters secretly hoping general Rainbow Dash will call off the journey, but she knew it was a lost cause, every pony knew that when general wanted something to be done, it would have to be accomplish even if it was impossible.
Fluttershy finally made it to her room and started to pack some things she would need for her journey. She sighed knowing that she could either make it out alive or suffer for trespassing. She tried to be as slow as she could possibly be knowing the faster she was packed the faster she would be on her way. She, unfortunately, finished packing and walked out of the camp. And she started her journey into the forest.
"Yes, seriously, I need you to guard the place. You never know what the ponies might be planning!" Eris said getting annoyed by Discord's complaints.
"But I'm just gonna stand around and do nothing! That's no fun!" Discord whined starting to sound like a child.
"Discord! War is not suppose to be fun! This is between life or death! So there is no fun!" Eris yelled, face palming.
"Ugh! Fine, I guess..." Discord muttered rolling his eyes.
"Thank you, solider! Now get to your station!' Eris commanded.
Discord saluted in a mocking way and went to go off to guard the hideout. He secretly didn't want to have to go to war with the ponies, he just wanted to have fun, not kill. He thought killing little ponies just isn't fun, messing with them, sure! But not killing. He sighed knowing the only way to get the land is to attack the ponies but still! He wasn't the type to give pity to the ponies but he just kept on thinking how they really didn't need to go to war, but he knew that he couldn't disoby Eris.
He finally made it to his station where he needed to guard, but just like Fluttershy, he had never seen the enemy. Everyone says the ponies just sang, dance, and play with their hair. But Discord knew taht wasn't true, if they did, the ponies wouldn't command a war. But there was another reason Discord knew they weren't like that, Eris had told him that the pony's queen, Celestia, banished her mother. But Eris only told Discord, she knew that even though he was chaotic, he was trustworthy. Discord secretly knew that Eris wasn't just doing this for the land, she was doing this for her mother.
Discord groaned as his legs grew tired from standing there and guarding, but this was his 'mission' now. He looked around the forest and sighed, he wanted to have fun, or maybe some type of wolf could pop up to scare him, anything really!
'There is no animal that is more of a monster than me... Geez! I'm suppose to kill ponies tomorrow!' he thought.
They ponies and the Dracronequi were suppose to go into war in the next 24 hours, even though he would never admit it, he was scared. He only really gone into one war, with the changelings. They were a peice of cake though, but these ponies. He knew that the enemy was smart, and they would not leave without a fight. A bloody fight.
She heard a twig break snapping her out of her thoughts she then turned her head to the noise holding up her gun, she sighed with relief once she saw it was just a bunny. She put down her gun and smiled at the bunny, the rabit hurriedly ran away frightened. Fluttershy picked up her gun and turned around, and all the breath was sucked of out her lungs when she saw the cave in front of her. It was the hideout. But the thing that frightened her the most was the creature that was guarding the entrance.
She finally understood what the others were talking about when they said that the Dracronequi had mitchmatched body parts. Even though the Dracronequus looked frightening, she also thought how much he looked interesting.
Fluttershy panicked when Discord was turning her way, so she decided to run into the bushes.
'I hope I wasn't seen...' she thought.

His eyes bolted open when he heard the bushes rustle, he carefully walked over aiming his gun. He opened the bushes to see a frightened small Pegasus with buttermilk fur, hair that was the lightest shade of pink, and eyes that were the deepest teal. She seemed to sparkle in the dark night. But that was interrupted when she bolted up and started to aim her gun at him. Following his instincts, he also aimed his gun.
But when he looked into her eyes he knew he couldn't do this, he couldnt kill a pony. He dropped his gun and held up his paw and claw. He saw her face turn into a face of confusion.
She looked into his eyes seeing a look of a calm and a sorry look. She suddenly felt guilt thinking how she almost killed an animal, something she never even tried to think about. So she did the same, she dropped her gun.
Discord put down his paw and claw and saw how this situation was beginning to get awkward, so he decided to speak. He opened his mouth put almost immediately closed it, he didn't know what to say. When he finally thought up what to say, he opened his mouth again.
"So, uh, what's your name?" He asked awkwardly.
Fluttershy looked up at him and her mind started to race, she didn't know what to do or say.
Thinking that she might've not understood he asked again.
"What is your name?" He asked a little bit more clearer.
"My n-name? W-well it's F-Fluttersh-" she answered before she was interrupted by a noise of a gunshot firing. She looked up at Discord with horror realizing she was the one who was shot. Discord was surprised at the sudden shot, he looked down at the bleeding arm Fluttershy had. He looked up to see who fired and saw a tall figure holding up a gun. And the tall figure was Eris.
Fluttershy collapsed and fainted from the loss of blood. He looked down at her with concern and would've helped her if he wasn't interrupted by Eris's voice.
"Good job distracting her, that was a nice move making her think that you were giving up." She said patting Discord's back.
Discord weakly smiled vp back slowly nodding, that wasn't the plan at all.
"Well I came to tell you that it's time for your break, come inside when you're ready." She said before walking back inside the hideout.
Discord looked down a the fainted pony and didn't know what to do, he certainly couldn't leave her there. But when he made up his mind he began to walk over to Fluttershy, he picked her up bridle style thinking to himself.
'Ugh, what am I doing?! I have to kill her not save her! But how could I?'
While Discord was carrying Fluttershy to a fire pit in the woods, the blood from the gunshot ran down his arm, he didn't like the feeling though.
"Who would ever even like this feeling?!" He thought.
Once he got to the fire pit, he laid Fluttershy on a log. He snapped his fingers and a first aid kit appeared, he got out bandages and started to wrap Fluttershy's arm with them. When he was finished with that, he started a fire since it was cold out.
Since it was his lunch break, he poofed up a sandwich with ham. He did know ponies were herbivores and that was another reason they didn't like draconiqi who are carnivores. But he didn't care right now. Even though he is a carnivore, it doesn't mean he'll eat ponies. His friends say they taste disgusting, but he didn't ask why they would even eat them.

Little did Discord know, Fluttershy awoke and was just pretending to be asleep. She took a peek at him through her closed eyes and saw that he was enjoying a ham sandwich.
"Oh Celestia, that's disgusting!" She thought.
Then, she decided to look for her gun but sadly realized that she, so stupidly, surrendered.
"Ugh! Why did I do that?! I'm such an idiot!" She yelled in her mind.
That's when she realized that she was all bandaged up and was warm. She thought it was a kind gesture but they are in war, and it was the middle of the night already and in just a few hours they were supposed to go to full on war. But she decided not to think about that, right now she needs to figure out a plan to get out safely.
That's when it hit her, an idea to escape. All she had to do was surprise him and fly away quickly. She thought it was so simple!
She got ready and plunged herself to the sky. Then, she realized that she was falling, she tried to flap her wings but she couldn't fly. She fell to the ground and hit the ground with a thud.
"The shot must've clipped my wing. I've got to say, that was a good shot." She thought.
"Ouch…" she groaned once the pain from her arm and from the landing came in a rush.
"You need some help down there?" A familiar voice chuckled.
Fluttershy looked up to see the dracroniqus she saw earlier.
"Well if I got shot, he would've been the one to do it! He shot me didn't he?! I don't know how, but he was the only one there!" She thought.
"Why you little…!" She started to stand up but quickly fell down due to her injured arm, "You did this didn't you?!" She yelled, all of her shyness went away once she met the beast.
"I'll kill you!" She yelled.
"Pony! Be quiet! Or-"
"Don't you dare tell me to be quiet you…you monster!"
That's when something snapped inside of Discord, he didn't like to be called a beast, especially if it's a dumb pony!
"How dare you say that! I'm not a beast! You dumb pony! I saved your pointless life!" He shouted.
"He really did save me…geez, that wasn't me, I should apologize- wait, he's the enemy, I'm not apologizing!" She thought.
She tried to stand, but failed. There was a sharp pain all over her body, it was like getting shot all over again. That's when the tears started to stream, she was in so much pain. She felt like she was going to die. Then the pain was too much to handle, so she started to yelp and sob. She didn't know what to do but she came with a plan, she was going to act like she was going to befriend him and tell him lies till he could trust her enough to heal her then she will run flee and tell everyone his plans. She thought it was a perfect idea!

Discord turned his back and crossed his arms, then he heard the pony start to cry out in pain. He felt pity for the pony, he couldn't just leave her. So he turned around and looked at the helpless pony to see her sprawled out on the ground sobbing her eyes out. He snapped his fingers which made the pain to decrease, but he didn't do it all the way, he wanted the pony to suffer a little bit for calling him a 'beast'.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"What do you th- I mean, thank you."
"No problem, but may I ask you a question?"
"Uh sure."
"Why are you here?"
"You, um, brought me here?"
" I meant, were you spying on us?"
Fluttershy started to tremble, "What do I say?"
"I, uh um, j-just got lost. T-that's all…" she said while trying to cover her face.
"Uh huh. Sure," Discord responded not really convinced, "since you told me your name, Fluttershy, I think it's only fairy to tell you mine. My name is Discord."
"Oh wow, what a unique name!" Fluttershy said with a sarcastic voice.
"Why thank you." Discord responded while rolling his eyes.
Just then Fluttershy felt sleepy again and collapsed, but the last thing she saw was Discord catching her.
"Fluttershy? Fluttershy? Are you okay?" She heard Discord say distantly before passing out in his arms.
Discord caught her just in time before she collapsed and laid her on his lap with some blankets. He looked up in the stars and drifted off to sleep with the buttermilk pony in his arms, not once did he loosen his grip.
He woke up to Fluttershy jumping off him with a red face.
"HEY!" She yelled
"Uh, hey." He responded questionably.
"Why were you holding me on your lap like that?!" She yelled with a even redder face.
"Well it was cold so I-"
"Ugh never mind..." Fluttershy said in a dull voice.
"What's HER problem?" Discord thought.
Discord got up from his position and poofed up a bacon strip and yawned. He saw Fluttershy's disgusted face and rolled his eyes.
"Ugh, fine" he groaned while he poofed up a bowl of salad for the both of them.
"Thank you." Fluttershy said said as she started to eat.
Then she dropped her bowl and it shattered on the ground. Her face turned pale as her ear twitched.
"Uh, you okay?" Discord asked. Fluttershy held up her hoof to shush him. She looked around and her ears perked up.
"DON'T BREATHE IN!" She screamed at Discord. Discord looked at her like she was crazy as she covered her snout, but when he looked down he saw green smoke rising. He suddenly felt dizzy and he collapsed.
"Shi-" Fluttershy was about to finish what she was gonna say but was cut off by a huge explosion.
Discord awakened to Fluttershy covering him in a protective way and gasping for air. She was bloody all over. All he saw around him was smoke and the the smell of burning flesh. He looked down at his paw and saw it was scraped badly and was burning. Fluttershy looked down at Discord and quickly got off him.
"Are you okay?" Discord asked.
"I'm fine," she said covering her bloody cuts, "what about you?"
"I'm okay thanks to you."
"It was a instinct, I would've left you- ugh, you know what? Don't mention it."
"Well thanks. Do you want some bandages?"
"Yes," Discord poofed up some bandages around his scrape and Fluttershy's cuts, "Uh, thanks I guess..."
"What was that?" Discord asked as he helped Fluttershy up.
"I heard a ticking and then I guess someone tried to put us to sleep with sleeping gas and once they saw that I was still awake, they probably just took out a bomb. I guess since it was loud they must've ran away so they wouldn't get caught."
"Wait, does that mean Eris heard?!" Discord thought worriedly.
"Oh no..." Discord whispered.
"What?" Fluttershy asked when she saw his face.
"Discord! Where are you?" Discord heard a familiar voice call out.
"Get on my back now!" He said in a hurried shushed voice.
"Uh why-"
Discord groaned and snapped his fingers, then Fluttershy poofed on his back. He also poofed away the camp site.
He flew away as Fluttershy clenched on to Discord's back. She shoved her face into his fur for she was afraid to look down. Discord looked at Fluttershy and smirked. Then he focused his mind into where he was gonna go. He decided to go across the Everfree Forest, this was where his secret spot was. No one ever went there since it was the most dangerous part of the forest.
"Well it's not gonna be secret anymore, huh?" He thought.
He landed on the ground and looked at Fluttershy who was still holding on to him.
"You can let go now."
"Oh-OH! I'm sorry." She said as she got off of him with a red face.
He sighed, "That was close."
"Who was that?" Fluttershy questioned.
"That was my commander, Eris. If she saw me with you then she would've killed both of us."
They looked at each other and both of their faces turned pale as they heard a gun shot.
