> Chapter 1: Birth of Darkness

It had been a year since they defeated Monster X. Days have passed since their epic adventure. They've defeated the mighty Tirek, made their own gigantic castle, helping so many ponies with their friendship issues, and allowed Starlight Glimmer to be a new member of their group. The main seven were having a time of their lives. All, except for Rainbow Dash. During the days of peace, everyone were feared by her appearance after her recovery against Monster X. Even Scootaloo couldn't even speak to her before and after the Cutie Mark Crusaders got their cutie marks. Only her best friends support her. Sadly, after Starlight moved in with Twilight, Rainbow just disappear.





At Rainbow cloud house, she stood outside of her house and staring at the open. Wind blows through her scratch ear while tears coming out of her scar eye. She remembers all the faces of every ponies in Ponyville with scared looks, including Scootaloo, giving her only silence.

Then, the moment by herself is over. She spoke without turning around, "What do you want?"

Behind her was her best friend, Twilight Sparkle. She responded, "Rainbow... me and the others are worried about you. We haven't seen you after Starlight move in with me. Is there something wrong Rainbow?"

The pegasus shook her head furiously at her dumb question. She yelled while she turned towards her, "YES THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG TWILIGHT!!! As you don't know, that every single ponies didn't even talk to me since I return from Canterlot! Not even Scootaloo didn't talk to me!! And she is my sister!!"

"Rainbow-"

"SHUT UP TWILIGHT!!! You don't know what I have been through!! None of this would have happened if you were strong back there against Monster X, so I wouldn't have these stunkin scars!! THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT TWILIGHT!!!"

Twilight was heartbroken by her friend. "My fault? My fault?! Rainbow... I try my best to stop him, but he was too powerful. I try my best to protect all of y'all. Now here you're blaming me for this."

"Don't play dumb with me Twilight! I know that we had a hidden form and you gotten yours before all of us! How come you didn't used it before I became like this?!"

"Rainbow, I didn't even know that I have it. I didn't know that we can do it. Rainbow, I am so sorry for what happened to you."

"Apologize rejected!"

The young princess was hurt by her rejection. Tears were running from her eyes. "Please Rainbow, I am so sorry for what happened to you. I wish I could fix this, but I don't know how. I'm just happy you're alive and I didn't lose you."

"Well... you just did."

Finally, Rainbow fly off and enters the Everfree forest, leaving her best friend alone, heartbroken. Twilight whimpered to herself after her best friend left, "I am sorry Rainbow. I am so sorry."





It's raining during the night time. Rainbow Dash was wandering through the forest while raindrops were hitting her. She stopped and began to sob. She not just sobbing over being feared by everyone, but for hurting her best friend. She spoke to herself while tears were running from her eyes, "I don't belong here. I don't belong anywhere."

Suddenly, she heard a voice echoed her name. The voice sounds similar to Scootaloo. She began to rushes towards the voice. She stopped at the cave, where the voice was coming from. She entered the cave and searched around for the pony.

Then suddenly, the cave was closed behind her. She turned and try to pushes out of the cave. Then, a light flashes in the cave. She turned and noticed nightlight from the mushrooms. She began wandering through the cave, slowly and cautiously. She cried out, hoping there's someone in this cave.

Out of nowhere, she was blasted by a dark beam. When the blast hit her, her whole body was stunned and couldn't even move. While she was struggling to break free, she roared towards the attacker, "WHERE ARE YOU COWARD?!! SHOW YOURSELF NOW!!!"

The unknown attacker appeared with wearing a shadowy cape, hiding his identity. He spoke sinisterly, "Well, hello there my little pony. Sorry for my hurtful blast."

He freed her from his magic. She slowly got up. "Well... here's my hurtful introduction."

She rushes towards the attacker and punch him in the face. The stallion then release a powerful blast at her, pushing her furiously towards the wall. Now, she lay helplessly before the evil stallion.

He spoke calmly, "That wasn't very nice." 

Finally, he revealed his identity to her and she recognized him. It was King Sombra, former ruler of the Crystal Empire, before she and her friends defeated him. Rainbow was breathless by his reappearance. She spoke, "K-K-KING SOMBRA?!!" Then, he slowly walked towards her, smiling. "That-That's impossible, you were dead. I sawed the Crystal Heart torn you into pieces. How are you still alive?"

Sombra giggles by her reaction. He laughed, "Oh young pony. Only my body was destroyed by the wave, but not my soul. Luckily, not all of my body parts was shattered. Only my horn survive. Each days, my horn slowly began to regenerate to my whole body. Then, I traveled to Canterlot and witnesses you battle against the invader. I was impressed by your bravery and actions out there. You're the bravest Pegasus I have ever seen."

"What are you saying?"

"I am saying that you should join me, Rainbow Dash. Together, we will rule Equestria and rule the whole world. When you're by my side, I will never abandon you. Unlike your worthless friends. What do you say?"

She roared, "FORGET IT FREAK!! I RATHER DIE THAN BETRAYING MY FRIENDS!! WHEN I AM HEALED I AM GOING TO END YOU MYSELF!!!"

He took a step back and grind. He spoke in a caring tone, "Oh Rainbow Dash. How could you say that to your... father."

She was confused by what he just said. She responded, "Are you joking around pal?! Because it's not funny."

"It's not a trick, my dear daughter. I am your father."

"SHUT UP!!! I DO NOT BELIEVE YOUR LIES!!"

"Fine... then I'll just show you." He walked towards her and held her down from resistance. Then, he fired his dark magic towards her head, causing a version towards the young Pegasus.





"Ahhhh, that's the most beautiful filly I have ever seen."

Princess Celestia was laying by the fireplace, holding a rainbow haired filly. Sombra, before he turned evil, walked up to his wife and his wonderful daughter. "We made the most adorable filly," said Sombra.

"I know," Princess Celestia spoke. "What should we name her?"

"Whatever makes you happy, my dear."

After her husband kisses her on the cheek, she began to think of a beautiful name for her newborn daughter. Finally, she answer, "Aurora. Her name shall be Aurora."

"Aurora." He kissed his baby daughter on the forehead. "What a beautiful name."





After the flashback ended, Rainbow Dash was breathless as Sombra released her. She slowly got up and began to sob. She cried after discovering the cold hard truth about herself. She's the daughter of a beautiful ruler and a dark sinister monster. As she was crying, her father hugged her from behind.

"Hush, my little Aurora. You have to know the truth sooner." He kissed her on the cheek after she's done sobbing. "Aurora, join me and we overthrow the princesses and rule Equestria as father and daughter. Please... for your father."

Then, Rainbow wrapped away the remaining tears on her face and responded, "No. Even if Celestia is my mom or not, I will never betray her nor my friends. I will never destroy my friends even if you're my father."

A disappointment look was formed upon her father face. "I understand. Then, you leave me no choice."

Suddenly, he blasted and held her against the wall. While he was holding her against the wall, he pulled out a torn horn. "What's that," Rainbow Dash asked while she was struggling.

"Oh this. This is a torn horn belongs to Monster X, the invader you attack a year ago. I wonder what happened if I inject it into you?"

He slowly draw it towards his daughter, which frightening her. Her daughter cried out, "KEEP THAT THING AWAY FROM ME!!"

"I am sorry, Aurora. But this is what happens if you resist me. If I can't convince you to join me, I make you."

She cried out in horror as the horn draw near her. Then, she cried out in pain when the horn began to stabbing inside of her. When Sombra finally let go of her, the young Pegasus began to tossed and turned as the virus from the horn began to spread inside of her. She flees to the shadows and tripped to the ground. Finally, she released a very loud cry before everything went silence.

Sombra was concerned about if his daughter is alive or not. He spoke, "Aurora? Aurora, can you hear me?"

A long silence occurred a while, until her voice responded, "Yes... my father."

She appeared in the light and everything about her change. He whole body turned from sky blue to white, her eyes turned dark, and her teeth turned into fangs.

"Welcome back, my Aurora." He hugged his possessed daughter. "I am glad you chose to my side."

"I am happy too, father."

He draw away and began telling her his sinister plan. "Now, we must began to take control of this corrupted kingdom."

"I know," she added. "After the defeat of Tirek, the kingdom began to regain peace and happiness. Twilight spread this disgusting happiness across the kingdom and to others as well."

"Every single ponies, including your best friends, are the enemies that stand against our destiny."

"What should we do my father?"

"I have a full proof plan that will achieve our success to control this world. You fit the perfect role for it."

"What should I do my father?"

"You shall hunt down the princesses and make them suffer for their interference against our plans. After the princesses are dealt with, this should show to everyone that they can be easily defeated, which could cause an uprising."

"Shall I take care of my foolish mother first?"

"No. You can't handle her on your own, she's too powerful. Hunt down the other three princesses first. Then, me and you will take down Celestia. Do you understand?"

"I will do what you have said, my father."

"Good. Now, the first princess you shall dealt with is the one who causes all of this."

"Twilight."

"Yes."

"I shall dealt with her."

"Good. Once we rid those stupid princesses, we shall rule Equestria, next the world. And we shall have... peace."

After their evil plans was explained, Rainbow went out and headed towards her hometown, Ponyville.

> Chapter 2: The Corrupted Friendship

Twilight was in her room, by herself. Laying in bed and sobbing over her argument with Rainbow. She kept blaming herself for causing her best friend to be feared by others and became isolated. Now, she wonder what will happen to Rainbow Dash right now.

Her door was opened and Starlight Glimmer stepped into her room. "Twilight," she said. "Are you alright?" The princess of friendship didn't respond. She walked over to her and sat on the bed. "Do you need anything before me and the others head out?" Silence came from the sadden pony. "Alright... I'll just-"

"IT'S ALL MY FAULT," Twilight cried with tears in her eyes. "I SHOULD HAVE BEEN STRONG BACK THEN!! I SHOULD HAVE PROTECTED RAINBOW!! I KNOW SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN BRAVE AND ATTACK MONSTER X!! I SHOULD HAVE WATCHED OVER HER!! I SHOULD HAVE-"

"Shhh," Starlight rushes towards and hug her. "Twilight please calm down. None of this is your fault. Rainbow Dash is under a lot of stress and just need some time to herself. I'm sure she will come back and all calm down."

"But what if she doesn't come back? What if she will never come back home and abandon us?"

"This is Rainbow Dash we're talking about. She will come back home and she will forgive you. I know it. Trust me."

The young princess wrapped away the tears and hugged Starlight one more time. "Thank you, Starlight. I really needed that."

"That's what friends for." Finally, the young princess is all calm now. "Do you want to come with me and the others at Pinkies place?"

"No thank you. I just want some time to myself. You can go on without me."

"All right Twilight." Starlight got off the bed and headed toward the door. Before she left, she almost forgot to tell Twilight one more thing, "Oh Twilight. I forgot to tell you this, Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo are in the guest room. Applejack said that they wanted to spend the night here."

"That'll be fine, Starlight."

Finally, Twilight is by herself again. She began taking a nap, relief from this stressful day.





Meanwhile, in the guest room, the Cutie Mark Crusaders were completely bored. They usually like to try to get their cutie marks, but now they already got them. Then suddenly, Applebloom shouted with joy, "Ha girls, I go a idea!! How about we went on a grand tour around the castle, see what Princess Twilight got."

"Alright," Sweetie Belle agreed.

"Okay," Scootaloo agreed as well.

When they opened the door, they began their adventure of touring around the castle. Applebloom and Sweetie Belle were excited about seeing the whole castle for the first time. Scootaloo, however, uses to be excited as well, but now she's all down. Finally, Applebloom turned around and noticed that her friend is down and asked, "Scootaloo, what's wrong?"

The young filly look back at her friends and respond, "Oh...sorry girls it's just... I don't want to talk about it."

"Come on Scootaloo. You can tell us anything."

She was quiet for a while. She finally spoke, "Alright. It's just I feel all down about Rainbow Dash, after she came back from Canterlot."

"Oh yeah. I remember those scratches she gotten since she returned home."

"Yeah. I feel very bad avoiding her since I sawed those scars. It's just I thought she might have done something very bad back in Canterlot is the reason why she got those scars."

"Now you mentioned it, my sister said once they were in Canterlot they had fought a monster and save all of Equestria."

"Yeah," Sweetie Belle added. "And Rarity said that Rainbow Dash gave it all and after it was all over she was unconscious for a few months."

Scootaloo was surprised by what really happened to her role model. "Oh man. Now I know how she got those scars. I feel so bad for her. I wish that I shouldn't have avoiding her."

Both of her friends walked towards her side and support her. "It's alright Scootaloo. Maybe if you apologize to her, then she will feel better again."

"Yeah," Applebloom agreed. "She'll forgive you. You know why... because you two are sisters. And sisters always forgive each other."

Thanks to her friends, Scootaloo began to cheer up a bit. "Thanks girls. I really needed that."

"Now come on! Let's get back to our grand tour!" Finally, the Cutie Mark Crusaders resumed their adventure.

Their next stop is the meeting room. The three fillies were amazed by the main seven meeting room. What really catch them is the map of Equestria. They jumped onto the table and viewed the whole map. Applebloom spoken first, "Wow! This map is amazing! You can see all of Equestria."

"Oh look," Sweetie Belle shouted. "Theirs our home! There's Canterlot! Manehattan! And the Castle! I think I could see our treehouse?!"

"Now we know how our sisters and the others know where they can solve some friendship problems," Scootaloo added.

"Amazing! I hope someday they will-" Suddenly, Applebloom was cut off when the candles just faded at the same time, leaving the room in total darkness. The room regained some light when the map started to glow. "What just happen?"

"I don't know," Sweetie Belle respond. Before they could act, they heard something flew by them. "Uh Twilight? Was that you?"

The unknown pony flew by them again, causing a scare to the young fillies. Scootaloo spoke nervously, "Hello... who's there?"

Finally, the flyer landed where they can see it shadow, but could see who it is or what it look like. Then, she spoke, "Hello girls."

Scootaloo recognize the voice. "Rainbow Dash?"

The others responded, "Rainbow Dash?"

"Is that you?"

Rainbow responded, "Of course, Scootaloo. It's me, Rainbow Dash."

Applebloom was curious by her tone and questioned, "Rainbow Dash? Are you okay? You sound... different. You don't sound like yourself."

"It's fine kid. I'm fine."

Sweetie Belle noticed it too. She asked, "Rainbow Dash... you're starting to creep us. Can you please come closer so we can see if you're alright?"

"Nah, I'm good. Come on down you three. There's no need to be afraid. Just trust me." The three fillies came down off the table and move towards her, cautiously. "See, that wasn't so bad. Can y'all tell me where's Twilight? I wanted to speak with her."

"Rainbow Dash," Scootaloo said. "Can I tell you something?"

She was silent for a while and responded, "Sure."

The young filly took a deep breath and confronted her sister. "Rainbow Dash... I am sorry. I am sorry for avoiding you ever since you came back. I was just afraid what you have become since you were away. But now I know what really happens to you... I-I-I am so sorry for abandoning you. Can you ever forgive me?"

She was quiet for a while now. Finally, she answer, "Yeah. Sure. Whatever."

Scootaloo couldn't believe of what she just said. She knows the real Rainbow Dash would never ignore her apologizes like this. "Rainbow Dash, what's wrong with you?!"

She rushes towards the young filly and roared, "Don't you ever yell at me like that!"

He little sister kneed in fear by her approach. Rainbow calmed down and started to pet the little Pegasus. "Don't be afraid, Scootaloo. Forgive me for my harshful approach. I'm just in a little bit of a hurry, that's all." She draw her hoof away and began nuzzling Scootaloo mane. "Just tell me where's Twilight and later on we can catch up."

"R-R-Really? Do you mean it?"

"I do."

Suddenly, before she tells her, the candles just lights up the whole room. When the light reaches Scootaloo, it revealed her role model sinister face, causing her and her friends to scream in horror. "R-Rainbow?! What happened to you?!"

Behind them, a shock voice occurred, "Rainbow Dash?!"

All of them turned and spotted Twilight. The Cutie Mark Crusaders shouted with joy as they were rushed to her, "Twilight!"

Suddenly, Scootaloo was pulled by her sister and grabbed whole of her. Twilight draw her attention from the two fillies and turned to Rainbow Dash, seeing her holding her sister smiling sinisterly. She demanded, "Let her go, Rainbow Dash. Let her go!"

Rainbow laughed and respond, "Oh I am sorry, princess. Scootaloo is my sister, not yours. That's why she's belongs to me. Not to you, princess."

Scootaloo is scared by her evil sister attitude. She cried in fear, "Rainbow please stop! You're scaring me."

"QUIET IT!!"

Twilight spoken again, "Rainbow stop. You're scaring Scootaloo. You're scaring the girls. You're scaring me. I'll do whatever you want, just please let her go."

The possess friend was silent for a while and kept looking back at her sister and the princess. Finally, she answered, "Fine." She shoved her sister towards Twilight.

After Twilight lets Scootaloo go to her friends, she conforted her confront her possess friend. "Rainbow, what happened to you? Who done this to you?"

"None of your business. I'm just here for vengeance."

"Revenge for what?"

"Revenge on you and this corrupted kingdom. All I have to do is to take care of you and bring balance to this filthy world."

Twilight shook her head by this new Rainbow Dash. "Who done this to you, Rainbow? Just tell me who it is and we will take care it... together."

"Spare me your lies, princess. I know how this kingdom can be corrupted so easily. You princesses ruled this kingdom for far too long. When all of you are dealt with, the world will be peace. I will bring peace to his empire and peace to everyone!"

"His? Empire? Who is he? TELL ME!!"

"DON'T MAKE ME KILL YOU!!"

"Rainbow Dash, me and Celestia are trying to bring peace to Equestria. Never to bring chaos and corruption!"

"He opened my eyes and revealed the truth about y'all sinister plot to destroy us all! Letting Princess Luna, Nightmare Moon, to run free and forget about her sinister crimes. Letting Discord, the one who bring pain and suffering to our friendship, to ran free and spread his disease to make others suffered as well. Letting our enemies, Trixie, Flam and Flim, to roam free and hoping to come back and murder us! Before you became a princess, you were free and awesome. Now, here you are spreading this corruption to Equestria!"

Tears were spilling from the princess eyes after listening to her friend cruelty speech. Even the girls were crying as well. Twilight cried in pain, "Rainbow... you're hurting my heart. I don't know who you are anymore. You're not the Rainbow Dash I remember. The real Rainbow I know is a daredevil, the best flyer in Equestria, a hero, my loyal friend. I know she's still alive in there. Just come back to us please."

"Sorry to break it to ya, princess. But the Rainbow you're talking about... is gone... forever. Enough talking. Time to finish my job."

"Don't do this Rainbow."

"Time to die."

Twilight turned towards the others, "Girls, get somewhere safe. Now-"

Suddenly, she was tackled by her friend and crashes towards the wall. Twilight fired her friend away and ready for a fight. Both of them rushes towards each other in full force and began fighting each other. Every punches they throw at each other, Twilight is gaining pain and brushes. However, her friend doesn't feel a thing. Before she could throw another fist, Rainbow punched her in the face and tackle her to the ground. She quickly used her magic to rid her friend off. She then rushes and shoved her against the wall.

As she was holding the possess Rainbow, she warned her again, "This is your last chance Rainbow! Surrender or I won't hold back anymore!"

Rainbow laughed and respond, "That's what you princesses always do to others. Always hiding y'all full potential. That's why y'all are so weak and deserve to fall."

Then, she break free from the princess and began punching her best friend in the face repeatedly. Next, she tackled her to the ground and resumed torturing her.

Sick of tired of watching this, Scootaloo quickly rushes to her idol, even though her friends try to hold her back but failed. She then try to pushes her sister and pleaded, "Please Rainbow stop! Please stop hurting her! PLEASE!!"

"GET AWAY FROM ME TRAITOR!!" Shockingly, she slapped her little sister across the face. Sweetie Belle and Applebloom rushes to her friend aid.

Twilight was enraged by what her best friend just done. Her horn started to glow while roared, "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!!" Then, blasted her off of her and forcing her towards the tree stump, causing her to scream in pain before hitting the ground. The princess just realized what she has done and rushes towards her aid. "Oh my gosh! Rainbow I am so sorry. Are you o-"

Suddenly, Rainbow punched her away. "Stupid princess. You always show mercy to your victims. So gullible." She dashes to her and shoved her against the wall. "PREPARE TO DIE!!"

She began punching her in the stomach so she could hear her suffer. Then, she began to punch her in the face repeatedly. The Cutie Mark Crusaders watch helplessly at the innocent princess being punished by her possess friend.

Then suddenly, before she lay a last punch, she was blasted across the room, which freeing the princess of friendship. Everyone turned towards the shooter and it was Starlight Glimmer. Behind her is the rest of the girls, including Spike. Applejack and Rarity rushes and comfort their sisters. Spike rushes to Twilight aid.

The rest of them for shocked by the appearance of their best friend. Fluttershy slowly walked towards her best friend. She whispered nervously, "Rainbow... is that-"

She was pulled back from Twilight and tell her, "Stay back Fluttershy. Rainbow isn't herself. Someone corrupted her mind and filled with lies."

The possess Pegasus laughed, "Please, no one brainwashed me. My eyes were revealed the truth about your sinister plot to destroy our lives. Me and my master will bring peace this world and rid with you princesses. And the first princess I am going to kill is you."

The girls were heartbroken by their evil friend. Then, they in front of Twilight and stood tall. Starlight spoke towards the sinister Rainbow in courage, "If you want to hurt Twilight, then you have to go through us Rainbow."

Rainbow Dash shook her head in disappointment towards the brave mares and spoke, "Fine... I'll take y'all out first." Finally, she roared in anger and rushes towards her best friends.

> Chapter 3: Friendship Battle

It's night time, outside of the walls of Canterlot, Sombra wandered around the kingdom as he gave it a speech, "Equestria... you're suffering from this horrible disease. My wife, my step sister, and my nieces are spreading it to those weak minded fools. Other rulers have joined their sinister plot to end you. I, King Sombra, will end their madness once and for all. I will overthrow my wife, locked up the others, and bring peace to our new empire. Once it's all done, we shall have peace. No more pain. No more death. And no more lies. Just my complete power and love to you... my Equestria." After he was done, his smile faded when he sense something in the direction towards Ponyville. "I sense my daughter is endanger."





Meanwhile, at Ponyville, everyone was enjoying their time of peace since Twilight and the others bring peace once again. Then suddenly, everyone were alarmed by two ponies bursts out of the castle window. The two are Rainbow Dash and Starlight Glimmer, fighting each other. When they almost made contact to the ground, they both separate and levitate.

Starlight stare angrily towards her corrupted friend and demand, "Rainbow Dash, surrender now or I will no longer be holding back."

Rainbow Dash laughed, "Go on do it. Give in to your hatred. Just like in the past when you were evil." Starlight was disturbed by what she just said. "I know what you have done, Starlight. You went back in time and ended our friendship. You should have kept it that way. This should have been a peaceful world without these corrupted princesses ruling over us."

"Rainbow Dash, the outcome was darkness and depression. The future of these outcomes caused pain, suffering, and deaths. Twilight told me that the only thing is evil is the villains."

"WELL IN MY POINT OF VIEW THE PRINCESSES ARE EVIL!!"

"Whoever done this to you is filling your head with lies."

"How can I know if you're lying to me? I mean you were a villain and try to end our friendship. How can I know that if you try to get rid of me and take control of Equestria yourself?!"

"SHUT UP!!"

Starlight rushes towards the possess Pegasus, but Rainbow dodges her attack and grabbed her from behind. Then, she began to choke her friend. She whispered in the unicorn ear, "That's right. Use your anger to get killed easily. You're just like me, I always have a big temper. Now, get ready to die."

Suddenly, a rope was thrown around her neck and was pulled by the others, which letting the victim go. Sadly, Rainbow rid from the rope and tackle her best friend, Applejack. The sinister Pegasus began kicking the cowgirl in the stomach. Next, she was pulled back by Rarity and Pinkie Pie, but she easily escape and knocked both of her friends to the ground. When she spotted Fluttershy, who was horrified by this fight, she was about to harm her. Luckily, Starlight flew in and tackle her possess friend from hurting any more of her friends. The evil Pegasus tossed her friend off and started to beating her hardly. Then, Applejack kicked her best friend side, which pushed her away from Starlight.

As the possess rainbow pony slowly got up, Applejack shouted at her, "Give up now sugarcube! Ya don't want to make it worse!"

Rainbow laughed, "Why not. It's just got better all of sudden. And besides... when will I get another chance to beat the scrap out of you."

The cowgirl rushes towards her friend to ram her, leaving her wide open. Before Rainbow get a chance to strike, she was hold down by Rarity magic. Thanks to Rarity, Applejack rammed into her possess friend, which broken some of her bones. Unfortunately, the sinister pony still stand. Then, the evil Pegasus rushes towards the cowgirl, causing her to get ready for a kick. Suddenly, she tricked her friend and rushes towards the beautiful unicorn. She tackled and thrown her towards Applejack.

Before she finished her friends, Pinkie rushes to her and began chewing on her left wing. She even talk while chewing, "How you like this Dashie? It hurt does it. That's right, you can't handle the pain!"

Rainbow Dash pick her up and began spinning her around before tossed her aside. Out of nowhere, Starlight tackle her and try to rid this infection out of her. Sadly, the possess Pegasus punch her in the face and hold her down. She began punching her in the face furiously again. 

Until, a voice she recognized cried, "RAINBOW!! PLEASE STOP!!" She turned and spotted Scootaloo right beside her with tears running down her cheeks. "RAINBOW PLEASE STOP IT!! PLEASE COME BACK TO US PLEASE!!"

She slowly got off of Starlight and began petting her young sister. She spoke, "Ahh. Poor Scootaloo. A young beautiful filly, who can't even fly yet. Ha Scootaloo." She picked her up. "How about we started training you how to fly."

Fluttershy, hiding behind the corner, know what she's doing and dashes to them. She cried to Rainbow, "Rainbow please put her down?! Don't do-"

"YOU STAY BACK!!" She slapped her best friend away from her, leaving a shock look on the young filly. She resumed taking her young filly towards the edge. "I had been training you for a while, huh Scootaloo?" The scared filly was nervous to respond, so she nodded. "Good. I think this time... you're ready to... FLY!!"

Then, she just tossed her own sister out of the castle and she's falling. Twilight screamed in horror, "SCOOTALOO!!"

Twilight quickly got up and rushes towards the falling filly. When she gotten outside, she dive down and try to reach Scootaloo, but she was too far away. Her was horrified because the young filly was about to hit the ground. Before she made contact, Starlight appeared below and caught the young filly.

Both of the mares stared at the poor Scootaloo, reimagined the terrifying close call. Twilight spoke to the young filly, "It's alright Scootaloo. You're safe now. It's alright."

Tears were running from the poor filly and said, "T-Thank you."

The moment ended when Rainbow Dash appeared and laughed, "HA!! That dumb filly can't even save herself! How sad is that!"

After they let Scootaloo get somewhere safe, both of the mares stood angrily against their possess friend after what she had done. Twilight spoken with hate, "That's enough, Rainbow Dash. We will defeat you here and now. You will fall!"

Both of them fired their magic at her, but she quickly dodges their blasts. The sinister Pegasus rushes towards them, but they both disappeared before she made contact. She tossed and turn, making sure where they are. Then, she was blasted from behind and landed to the ground. Twilight and Starlight both frozen her wings. Applejack thrown her rope around her again and Rarity tied her up.

The rageful Pegasus roared out loud in anger. While she was roaring, the whole citizens of Ponyville surrounded her and were horrified. Twilight and her friends stood in front of her and spoke, "It's over Rainbow Dash. You have lost."

The possess Pegasus kept struggling to escape, but she was well tie up. Applejack spoke, "Come on y'all, let's bring her inside and try to fix her up."

Before they move, they heard Rainbow started to cry. They draw closer to their possess friend, making sure if it's not a trap. Finally, she cried with tears running down her cheeks, "Please girls... please help me. I'm scare. Please help me. Please untied me... I think I can control myself now."

Pinkie Pie was excited after hearing her real self and shout with joy, "YAY!! We are so happy you're back Dashie! Don't worry I'll-"

Starlight blocked the joyful pony and spoke, "Don't fall for it Pinkie. Look at her eyes, they're still dark."

Then suddenly, she tossed her head as far as she can towards her friends and try to bite them. She roared in fury, "STUPID PONIES!! SOON ALL OF YOU WILL BOW DOWN TO MY FATHER AND HE WILL RULE ALL OF YOU PATHETIC SOULS!!"

"Father," Twilight said confused. "Who's your father Rainbow?"

"I WILL NEVER TELL YOU PRINCESS!!"

She walked towards her and demanded again, "RAINBOW!! WHO IS YOUR FA-"

Suddenly, a unexpected shadow surrounded Rainbow Dash and tossed the young princess aside. Her rushes to her aid and they watched helplessly as the shadow kept circling around their friend. Finally, when the mysterious shadow faded, the possess Pegasus disappeared as well. They were confused about what just happened. What was that shadow? Where did it come from? Most importantly, who's Rainbow Dash father? Twilight tell the others, "I have to report to Princess Celestia."





Somewhere in the forest, the shadow appeared again and appeared Rainbow Dash and her father, King Sombra. He stood silent over his injured daughter until she spoken. "I'm so sorry father. I've failed you."

He turned towards his daughter and lay his hoof on her shoulder. "Don't worry my dear daughter," he cheer her up. "It's all according to plan."

"It is."

"Why yes. You stroke fear to your pathetic friends. You also have shown the citizens of Ponyville that the Princess Twilight Sparkle is weak. I am so proud of you."

She was surprised by her father reaction to her mission. She bowed in front of him, "Thank you my father." She raises up, "What's my next assignment?"

"Your next assignment is to hunt down the ruler that stolen my rightful kingdom, Princess Cadance."

"How can I get to the Crystal Kingdom in a short amount of time?"

He draw his daughter towards a cliff and answered, "You don't have to go to the kingdom. Because..." He pointed towards a carriage headed towards Canterlot, with Cadance cutie mark symbol on the side. "...she's coming to you."

> Chapter 4: Why Does Love Have To Feel Like A Battlefield

The group were riding in the chariot, driven by two pegasus guards, and heading to Canterlot. They must warn Princess Celestia that their close friend, Rainbow Dash, is possessed by an unknown threat and is planning to take over Equestria. They also brought the Cutie Mark Crusaders with them, just in case their possess friend won't attack them again. 

Twilight, who's still wounded from her best friend attack, grew worry about the safety of Cadance, Luna, and Celestia. Most importantly, she's worry about her best friend, Rainbow. Then, she was cut off by the voice of the baby dragon, “Twilight… are you alright?”

She turned towards Spike and the others, with concern look on their faces. She responded, “Sorry girls. I'm just down about what happened to Rainbow Dash. I don't know who's controlling her nor why. I just don't want anything happens to my family. To any of you. Most importantly, to Rainbow Dash.”

Applejack stood by her side, touch her shoulder, and cheering, “Don't worry Twi. Ah pretty sure Princess Celestia will handle this dirty mess and bring back Rainbow Dash. Everything is going to be fine sugarcube.”

Rarity added, “Indeed, darling. Celestia will free Rainbow and everything will be back to normal.”

Twilight shook her head and responded, “What about her father? Before Rainbow Dash escape, she mentioned that she and her father will take over Equestria. Who's her father and where's he hiding?”

Fluttershy jumped in, “Rainbow Dash told me that her parents passed away from a awful accident. I would never expect her father to be so evil and sinister.”

Pinkie Pie cut in, “Yeah! What kind of a heartless, soulless monster could ever do this to Dashie?!”

The princess responded, “I don't know Pinkie, I bound to find out. No matter what, we must find a way to save Rainbow Dash and protect Equestria.”

Starlight says, “Whoever this monster is, we can beat him together! For Rainbow.” Each one of the places their hooves on top hers, including the baby dragon and the three adventurous fillies.

After they were settled, suddenly they almost got hit by a beam from below. They all stared down and spotted another fight by the castle.





The crystal carriage were heading to Canterlot. Princess Cadance and Shining Armor, within the transport, were talking to each other. Shining Armor spoken first, “Are you sure you sent a letter to Twilight about the meeting with Princess Celestia?”

Cadance responded while calming her husband, “Don't worry, Shining Armor. I already told you that I send a letter to her a while ago. I'm pretty sure she'll be there. I know she'll never missed a meeting with us.”

“I know that, but… I'm just uncomfortable about my baby sister being a princess. I mean she fought an evil invader, which almost gotten her killed, and fought Tirek. I'm just worried about her, that's all.”

Sword Light, from the attack of Monster X, cut into their conversation, even though they didn't know he was with them. “If I may interrupt your chat, my lady and commander.” He turned to his commander, “Commander Armor, I believe you're worried about your sister, Princess Twilight Sparkle, is becoming a woman. Soon, one day she'll get married and have kids of her own and-”

“WATCH YOUR MOUTH SOLDIER OR SO HELP ME I WILL THROW YOU IN THE HOLE!!”

The earth pony quickly salute and cried in fear, “Yes sir! Sorry sir! I wish not to go back to the hole!”

The princess of love grabbed her husband's attention and says, “What he means is that Twilight is growing up. She's a brave women now and she can take care of herself now.”

Her husband sighs. “You're right. I have to admit that she's grown up now. I have to stop being overprotective whenever I am near her.”

“Also, allowing her to date any stallion she wants,” Sword Light added. There were fire in the commander eyes after the soldier has spoken. “Shutting up!”

“It's just I been with her since she was born and I always wanted the best of her-”

Suddenly, their conversation with interpreted when the carriage just stop. They were ready for the other guards to open the doors, but they never did. Princess Cadance spoken first, “Why did we stop? What are the guards doing out there?”

Sword Light opened the doors and talk to them before closing them, “I’ll check out what's going on, maiden and sir. I will come back and fill out why we stopped.” He stepped outside, leaving the them alone together.

The two couples waited for him for about ten minutes, but he hasn't returned like he said he would. Shining Armor was done waiting and was about to figure out what's going on. His wife spoke, “What are you doing?”

He responded, “He had been out there for too long. I'm going to see what's wrong.”

“Maybe we should wait for a little longer. I'm pretty sure he knows what he's doing. They're possibly fixing the chariot or-”

“No! I'm going to see what they're up to, fixed it myself, and resumed heading to Canterlot.” He opened the door and finished talking before he abandoned his wife, “I’ll be back soon. Don't worry… I’ll be fine.”

The princess has been waiting patiently for her husband return, but he didn't as well. She grew worry about her husband and the others. Finally, she's sicken tired of waiting and headed outside. 

After she exited the carriage, she founded that they're a half away from Canterlot. She was shocked by founding the three guards lying on the ground, wounded. She rushed toward the drivers and tried to regain their consciousness. Suddenly, Sword Light voice occurred poorly, “They're dead.”

She turned to the breathing soldier and rushed to his aid. She slowly lifted him up and asked, “Lieutenant, what happened?”

He responded while breathing hard from the pain, “It was an ambush. I founded the drivers dead and… she attack me.”

“Who's she? Who's the attacker?”

“None of that matters. My lady… you must save your… husband.”

“Where's-”

Suddenly, her husband was tossed and crashes towards the carriage. She was terrified by the current event and rushed to her husband. Before she can get any closer, a dark sinister voice spoken, “Lay a hoof on him and I will snap his pretty neck instantly.”

Cadance kept her distance from her injured husband and demanded the attacker, “Come out and show yourself! I will make you pay for hurting my husband and my soldiers!” The attacker stepped out of the shadow and revealed herself. When she entered the moonlight, Cadance has already recognized the intruder mane, rainbow colors. She was shocked by her appearance and say confused, “R-Rainbow Dash?!”

Rainbow Dash giggle and says, “S’up princess.”

“Wh-what happened to you?! How did you become like this?”

“Oh, it's just a wonderful gift that my own daddy gave me for being a good filly. Jealous. Admit it, you're jealous.”

“Rainbow Dash, I demand you to tell me why are you attacking us!”

“Oh, I don't know. I just like to beat up and kill others just for joys and giggles.”

“Enough games! Answer my question right now!”

“Don't play dumb with me princess. I know everything about y’all nefarious plot to destroy Equestria.”

“What are you talking about?”

“Don't pretend that you don't know anything about this. I sawed all the facts and evidences. Letting Princess Luna, aka Nightmare Moon, getting away with murder. Letting Discord, the chaos monster, to walk among us freely. Letting Sunset Shimmer, a traitor to Equestria, to roam free from her crimes and she could've turned everypony into her slaves. Most importantly, letting Starlight Glimmer, who stolen innocent ponies cutie marks and serve her, to be redeemed without suffering any punishment. You princesses are trying to use them to destroy Equestria and kill billion of innocent lives.”

“Rainbow Dash… we would never do anything like that. We just want to bring peace and love to others… to make Equestria great-”

“You hesitated twice! That means y’all are plotting to destroy everyone!”

“NO WE ARE NOT!! JUST LISTEN TO-”

The rageful pegasus rushes and punch her in the face. The princess turned with a disappointment on her face. A single drop of blood was leaking from her mouth. After she wrapped the blood away, she slapped the possess pegasus. Rainbow Dash gotten up and smiled from the princess reaction. “Nice girly slap princess,” she mocked. “Now, let's fight.”

They both charges at each other into battle. Rainbow noticed that the princess horn is charging up. The princess of love fired her beam, but the corrupt pony jumped into the air and tackle her. She held down the princess upper legs and spoke, “Look at that… another princess gotten beaten by a powerless pegasus.”

Cadance stopped struggling and was shocked. “What,” she said. “You hurt Twilight!” She try to fight back, but Rainbow outsmarted her and grabbed hold of her head. As the possess pony laughed, the princess demanded in anger, “Rainbow Dash! Release me now and you shall not suffer the consequences for harming the daughters of Celestia!”

The rainbow pegasus bursts out laughing from her demands. “Nice one,” she laughed. “Don't you mean nieces of Celestia?!”

“What are you talking about?! Me and Twilight are the daughters of Celestia! My mother told me!”

“Well well well. Looks like Celestia is a backstabbing liar. She even lies to her nieces.”

“You're lying. My mother never lie!”

“Am I lying, princess? Am I?”

“N-No! This isn't you. Someone is controlling you-”

“No one is controlling me. I'm a free pony. It's just my daddy opened my eyes and revealed the truth about you princesses. I mean Twilight put up a good fight, but just a little punches and even some bones broken can really put-”

Then, the rage princess blinded the corrupt pegasus and knocked her off of her. She stood angrily and shouted, “YOU WILL PAY FOR HARMING MY SISTER!!”

Cadance began firing at the sinister pony, but the evil pegasus regained sight and started dodging each blast. While every blasts she kept dodging, Rainbow Dash mocked the princess about lack of aiming. Unfortunately, the princess has ran out of stamina to fire. The corrupt pony smile sinisterly and says, “My turn.”

She dashes towards the exhausted princess and gave her an uppercut; Princess Cadance has fallen to the cold hard ground. She made her to the injured princess and lifted her chin up. “It's nothing personal,” Rainbow Dash said, “it's just business!” She was about to end the princess life with a smash, until she was blasted in the chest. 

Finally, Twilight and the others backed up the princess aid. She looks towards her sister and see horrible wounds. “Cadance,” she says. She turned and spotted her brother, who's also wounded. “Shiny.” She turned to her best friend and roared in anger, “WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!!” Then, she began firing at her best friend rapidly, but the rainbow pony was dodging. “WHY ARE TRYING TO KILL MY BROTHER AND SISTER?!!”

She yawned and stood right in front of Twilight. Rainbow Dash pushed her best friend to the ground and say, “Sorry I had to cut this fight short, but I have to be somewhere right now. Sooo… LATER SUCKERS!!!” Finally, she escaped into the night sky, abandoning her friends once again.

Twilight was about to hunt down her best friend, but Starlight grabbed her attention. “Twilight,” she said, “we can worry about her later. Right now, we have to take your sister and your brother to Canterlot to get help.”

She looked back at the sky and responded, “Alright, let's go.” Finally, they grabbed the wounded aboard the chariot and headed towards Canterlot.

> Chapter 5: Downfall of the Moon

Somewhere in the Everfree forest, Sombra was wondering through it while he was waiting for his daughter to accomplish her task. He was so excited to get rid of the princesses and taking over Equestria to himself. Suddenly, an unknown pony, who's the same size as Celestia, stood behind him. He smiled and says, “Well… hello… my old apprentice.”

The shadow hide his identity as he stood beside his master and spoke, “Welcome back, my master. I'm sorry that I haven't regenerate you. I was taking care of some problems.”

“It's alright, my student. I have a plan to make rid of the princesses and finally take over Equestria.”

“All of these years of planning to rule over this kingdom shall finally comes true tonight. When should I step in?”

“Do not worry, my apprentice. Soon, my daughter shall do all of the work for us. She has single handed defeated two princesses.”

“Amazing. Aren't you worry about if she might fail you? Fail us?”

“Do not worry, for I have a backup plan installed in her if she'd failed.”

“What is it, my master?”

“Something that my wife shall never resist,” Sombra laughed sinisterly. “She shall do it in order to save the one she loves.”





Meanwhile, in Canterlot, Twilight and the others rushed the wounded inside the castle. After they've sealed the doors, a patrol of guards spotted them and rushed to their aid. A captain questioned the princess confused, “Princess Twilight, what's going on? What happened to Princess Cadance and Commander Shining Armor?”

She responded without answering his questions, “No time to explain, captain. We need to lock and secure the castle; we're under attack. Where's Princess Celestia and Princess Luna?”

“Princess Luna is in her room while Princess Celestia is in the throne room, awaiting for the meeting. But what do you mean we're under attack?”

“Somepony is plotting to overthrow Celestia and take over Equestria. I brought all of my friends here for mine and their own protection.”

“I understood, Princess Twilight. It's a good thing one of your friends made it here before y’all arrival.”

“Thank you cap-” She stopped after hearing the captain mentioned one of her friends arrived. “Wait! Who arrived here first?!”

“I didn't recognize her voice nor appearance.” He looks over to the princess friends and remembered. “I think her name is Rainbow Dash.”

She was shocked. She turned toward the others and they were terrified as well. They knew that Rainbow Dash already beat them her. She asked the captain, “Where did she go? Did she mentioned anything about who she's seeing?”

“She did mention that she was going to see Princess Luna,” the captain responded.

“Oh no.” Finally, Twilight and the others left the wounded and Cutie Mark Crusaders with the soldiers while they're hurry themselves to Luna aid.





Meanwhile, in Princess Luna bedroom, she has awaken from her slumber and prepared herself for the meeting. She washed her face and brushing her flowing mane. Suddenly, she stopped and stared at the mirror. She turned around and yelled at the shadow, “Come out, Rainbow Dash!”

The possessed pegasus stepped out of the shadow and appeared before the princess. She smiled and laughed, “You really are the princess of the night.”

“It would appears my foolish step brother has returned and turned thou into his mindless slave.”

“Actually, my daddy was happy enough to open my eyes and revealed all of you princesses sinister plot,” Rainbow corrected her.

“What are thou talking about,” Luna asked confused.

“Y’all plan to destroy Equestria and slaughtering millions of innocent ponies,” she shouted in anger.

The princess was upset by what Sombra had done to the young pony. “My poor little niece,” she said, “it would appears that your father had spoken nothing but lies to you, so you may follow his nefarious ways.”

“Shut up. I'm not being brainwashed by my father. I trusted him with my life. I wouldn't trust my life in you disgusting princesses hooves.”

The princess shook her head in disappointment and resumed, “I’m so sorry for you, young Rainbow. I will find a way to bring thou back to normal.”

She laughed at her promise. “Please! After everything you've done, I don't believe that you will do any good deeds ever since you turned into-”

“Don't you dare mention it, Rainbow Dash,” she shouted.

“Alright… I won't,” Rainbow Dash said. Then, she formed a evil grin and spoke, “Nightmare Moon. HAHAHAHA-”

Suddenly, she was blasted by her own aunt. The possessed pegasus fallen to her knees and began sobbing from the pain. Princess Luna loosen her anger and aided to her niece. “Rainbow Dash, I must say I’m so sorry. I never meant to hurt thou that hard. Are you-”

Luna was cut off guard by her niece tackle. The evil pony laughed, “You princesses are so easy to trick. If y’all left your guards down, then y’all we be defeated and destroyed easily. Just like the last two I’ve taken care of.”

“What did thou mean,” she asked confused. Then, it hit her. She regained her anger and yelled, “Who did thou harmed before thou went towards me?!” Rainbow smiled and gave her a wink. Fire spark in her eyes as she knocked her niece off of her. “HOW DARE YOU TO HARM TWILIGHT SPARKLE AND CADANCE,” she roared in her Equestrian voice.

As she gotten up, blood was dripping out of her mouth. As she wrapped it away, she grinned and laughed, “Ha… That's more like it.”

They both ready themselves for the fight between alicorn and pegasus. Luna pleaded to her niece before the fight could begin, “Please don't do this.”

Rainbow responded that will cause her aunt to strike first, “Bring it on… bitch.”

Then, the princess was insulted by her niece and began to charge towards her. Rainbow Dash charged towards her aunt as well. Luna charging her horn for her first attack. They were about to make contact with each other, until the corrupt pony jumped and landed on top of her. She grabbed whole of the princess neck while riding her like a bull. The princess even to knock her off of her back, but the rainbow pony isn't letting go. Finally, Luna blinded her niece with her magic and knocked her off.

As she was laying on the floor, Luna began firing her magic at her. Unfortunately, Rainbow kept dodging her attacks and hope if the princess will ran out of stamina. However, her aunt manage to hit her and the rainbow pegasus was stun.

Luna landed right in front of her niece as the possessed pony stood helplessly. The princess of the night stared down at her and demanded, “Rainbow Dash, surrender now or I will use force! Even, if you're family.”

While Princess Luna was charging her blast, the only thing that she didn't know about her niece is the horn of Monster X injected into her. Rainbow Dash slowly used her limited movement and bitten her aunt, which transferred the stun magic into her. Now, it's her aunt who's helpless to her niece.

Rainbow smiled at her helpless aunt and laughed, “This is too good. The mighty Nightmare Moon gotten defeated and trick by a pegasus! Oh, how perfect!” She gave the princess an uppercut and brought her to the ground. As she was trotting around her, “The great Nightmare Moon has defeated her pathetic older sister. Now, you gotten beaten by her own niece, who even isn't a alicorn. You’ve been here for thousands of years, without aging, and learn to fight against many threats. Sadly, you can't even beat me.” She stand on top of her. “Now, prepare to be brought down by one of your own.”

Then, she began punching and kicking her in the chest. Next, she grabbed Luna neck and began punching her face. Finally, she began to choke her. Rainbow laughed sinisterly, “I will be the first to waste away a princess immortality!”

Suddenly, she was interrupted by the reappearance of her friends. She found Twilight and Starlight bursts into the room and blasted their friend off of Luna. After the others joined, Rainbow Dash gotten up and whined, “Oh for Pete sake!”

Pinke cut in, “Who's Pete? And leave him out of this, Dashie!”

“Not now sugarcube,” Applejack said.

“Sorry to cut this reunion short,” Rainbow mockingly said, “but I have somewhere to be.” She jumped in the air and opened the window. “It's funny that y’all left the two couples and those three brats alone and unprotected. Leaving me to play with them. Sooo… lates!” She escaped out of the window and flew down.

Twilight turned to the others and said, “Girls, hurry up and get down stairs and protect the others. Me and Starlight with help Luna and chase after Rainbow. Go!” The others rushed out of the room, leaving Twilight and Starlight assisting the princess. “Princess Luna, are you going to be alright?”

Luna slowly got herself up, trying to ignore the wounds, and responded, “I will make it. I faced worse back then. Right now, we must stop Rainbow Dash before it's too late. Now, let's go!” Finally, the three of them rushed out of the window and went after her.

Sadly, they didn't know that the evil pony was standing next to the window outside. After they've went passed her, she laughed, “Idiots. I can't believe they actually buy that.” She stared at the top level of the castle, “Sorry daddy, but I want to fight mommy Celestia alone.” She spread her wings into the sky and resumed, “I defeated those other losers, so that means I can beat my lazy ass mother. Once I defeated my mother, I will take over Canterlot for my father. Look out mom, because the Rainbow Dash is coming to end you… once and for all!” She rushed up and ready herself for the final battle.

> Chapter 6: Mother And Daughter Bonding Time

In the medical room, Cadance and the other wounded were being treated bushes and cuts. After the doctors and nurses leave them be, Cadance regained consciousness and looked upon her husband. She slowly gotten out of bed and trotted to him. She slowly shaking her husband and whispered, “Shining Armor… are you alright, baby?”

He turned around to his wife and responded, “Yeah… yeah I'm alright, honey.” They both nuzzle each other, but Shining Armor pull away. “Cadance… I'm so sorry for letting this happen to you. I should've been strong back there… I could've beat her, but-”

She cut him off with a kiss, climbed to his bed, and lay by him. Cadance whispered to her husband ear lovingly, “Don't be hard on yourself. You try to defend me with all of your strength. You even gave it all back there. That's what really matters right now. I love you, Shining.”

“I love you too… honey.”

They connected their lips together and formed a very long kiss. Until, they interrupt, “Aaaaaaaaaw!” They turned around and found Lieutenant Sword Light in the room with them. He shook his head and said, “And I ruined the moment.” The two couples began giggling.

Then suddenly, the door bursts open and the two princesses and Starlight entered the room. After they've found the two couples, whose are fine, they were shocked by the trickery. “Cadance,” Twilight said confused. “Shining Armor? Y’all are alright?”

“Um,” Cadance spoke confused as well, “of course we're alright.”

“Twilight,” Shining Armor said, “what's going on? Why do you think we're in trouble?”

“Because we heard that Rainbow Dash is plotting to harm you two,” Princess Luna explained to them. “It would appear that she had lied to us.”

“What about the filles,” Starlight asked.

Out of nowhere, Pinkie Pie appeared behind them and spoke quickly, “Donotworryaboutthembecausewhenwerushestothegirlsbuttheywerealright. SoIhurryallthewayoverheretowarnyouallaboutthat-” She stopped for catching her breath and resumed, “SoIjustgobackandtelltheothersthatIalreadytellyouguysarealrightbye!” Finally, she left them be.

After Twilight finally understand what Pinkie just said, she's trying to figure out what's Rainbow Dash next sinister plot. “If Rainbow wasn't going to to harm Cadance nor the filles,” she explained to them, “then who's she going to attack next?” She was thinking about the actions of her best friend. She already knew that her best friend has harmed her, her sister, and her aunt. Finally, she knows who will be the next victim and screamed, “CELESTIA!!”





Meanwhile, Princess Celestia was sitting on her throne, awaiting for the meeting. She was cut off by her guard announced to her, “Princess Celestia.” She looked down on the stallion. “I would like to inform that Princess Twilight Sparkle and Princess Cadance has made it to the castle and awaiting for the meeting.”

“Thank you captain,” she responded. “Please tell them to wait a little longer. I have matters that I must saddle.”

“Yes, my lady.”

After the guard exited out of her sight, she grew smile into a frown. “Alright,” she said, “come out!”

Then suddenly, Rainbow Dash flown down to the floor and stared angrily at her mother. She spoke with no love in her voice, “Hello… mother!”

As the corrupted pegasus marches towards her mother, Celestia spoke with disappointment, “Aurora, what have you done?! You have harmed your own cousins, murdered my soldiers, and merciless beaten your own aunt! These crimes that you have committed cannot be undone!”

The rainbow pony laughed, “Oh, so what my crimes is no way bigger than yours?!”

“What are you talking about?!”

“Don't play dumb with me, mother! You know what I'm talking about! About all of those times when we see each other and you never told me that I am your daughter! The time when we reform my stupid aunt! The time when you visit Ponyville a couple times! The time when you awarded me for winning the Pegasus Compilation! The times when me and my friends attended the stupid lame gallop and that dumb wedding! Dare I say more! The list goes on and on! Oh, here's the best one of all! The time when I was with you when I entered to a coma! All of those times you could've said that you're my mother, BUT YOU NEVER DID!!!” After she was done speaking, tears were leaking from her eyes.

“Aurora, please you have to understand that I never tell you, because I don't want to endanger you. I don't want your father to take you away from me and your friends. However, it would appear that I have failed to protect.”

When the young pony wrapped away her tears, she smiled and says, “So… you were trying to keep me away from my own daddy. You know what… I am glad that you didn't tell me the truth! I am happy, because I’m not a part of your and the other stupid alicorns plot to destroy Equestria! I WOULD NEVER DESTROY MY HOME!!!”

She was shocked by her daughter believing in such lies from Sombra. Celestia shook her head in disappointment. “Aurora… your father had lied to you. I would never harmed my own citizens of Equestria. Your father had lied and brainwashed you, so you may joined his side. He will do anything to gain loyalty to poor innocent ponies, even you.”

“SHUT UP,” Rainbow Dash yelled. “I KNOW YOU ARE LYING TO ME RIGHT NOW!! SOMBRA CAME TO ME FIRST AND SAID THAT HE ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT ME!! UNLIKE YOU!!!”

“I do care about you, Aurora.”

“Oh really! Where were you when I was bullied and beaten by a group of gayass colts?! Where were you when I was expelled from high school for protecting my friend from some jerks?!” Then, tears began to reform and she cried in sorrow, “WHERE WERE YOU WHEN MY ADOPTIVE PARENTS DIED AND I WAS LEFT ALONE IN THE DARKNESS WITH NO ONE TO TAKE CARE OF ME AND LOVE ME LIKE I AM THEIR DAUGHTER?!! WHERE WERE YOU?!!!” Rainbow began sobbing in front of her mother.

Celestia, too, was heartbroken by her daughter dark past. “Aurora, I'm so sorry for what happened to you when you were young. But what are you doing now is worst. You are better than that. Please come back to me, my sweet little Aurora, and I will help you. I will always stand by your side and never abandon you.”

After she'd looked up, Rainbow Dash stared at her mother kindhearted and lovingly face. The evil pegasus laughed and responded, “No thanks… princess. I will never betray my father like you had betrayed me all of these years. In fact…” She spread her wings and stared sinister at Celestia. “... daddy said that I have to wait for him, so the both of us can take you down. Then, I began to open my own eyes. I have beaten the weak and pathetic Nightmare Moon. How hard is it to take you down?!”

Princess Celestia already knows that she had no choice, but to fight her own daughter. As the both of them ready themselves for battle, she pleaded to her one final time, “Please don't do this!”

“I’m going to end you,” Rainbow responded.

Finally, they both charges at each other in total rage. Rainbow Dash flown high and going to tackle her mother, but luckily Celestia teleported out of plain sight. She reappeared behind her daughter and then blinded her with brightest of light. After she regained sight, the possessed pony founded four copies of her mother. All four of them began charging her magic. The young pegasus began punching each one, until she found her real mother. Before she reached the last one, her mother already fired and send the rainbow pony flying off across the room.

When she'd gotten back up, she found a sword by her and grabbed it. After she'd seen her daughter grabbed a weapon, she conjure up her old sharp spare. Rainbow Dash rushed in for the kill, but her mother manage to block her attack. Then, Celestia grabbed her and thrown her towards the wall. The sinister pegasus kept drawing a bunch of attacks, but she was repeatedly thrown to the wall and the ground. Suddenly, the enraged pony roared into the air and began swinging her sword at her mother, but the princess kept dodging her attacks. Finally, the princess blasted the sword out of her daughter hoof and shoved her down to the floor.

As she was holding her daughter down by the head, “Rainbow Dash, you have lost! Your father had abandoned you and lost respect towards you! You were foolish enough for trying to face your own mother!” Celestia released her daughter and began trotted away. “I shall ordered my guards to take you to the dungeon. I swear in my define power to find a cure for you, Aurora. Till then, you shall remain in your cell.”

As she slowly gotten up, Rainbow Dash grew even more anger than before. She watched her mother walking away from her, just like she'd abandoned. Then, she roared in rage as she rushed toward her mother, “I’LL KILL YOU!!!”

Rainbow Dash was about to strike her mother with a final blow, until she was shoted by a single blast. Both of them founded Twilight appeared in the throne room, with smoke coming from her horn. The furious pegasus roared and rushed at her best friend, but the princess of friendship released a long beam at her. The beam pushed the possessed rainbow pony to the wall and held her there.

Then, Celestia joined her and also released a beam at her daughter as well. Luna and Cadance rushed into the room and also blasted beams at Rainbow Dash. The four alicorns beams formed into one and bring great pain to the young pegasus. Finally, they've ended their beams and stared at the pony.

Rainbow Dash, with smoke coming out of her, slowly stood up and walked towards her mother. As she stood in front of Princess Celestia, she did nothing but stared into her mother's eyes. Suddenly, she began to throw weak punches at her mother chest while she's crying. She repeated punching her mother, until she lost the will to live.

Finally, she stopped her attacks, hugged her mother, and resumed sobbing. Celestia wrapped her wings around her daughter and nuzzles her rainbow mane. Twilight and the other princesses joined them and began nuzzling the young pony. Only the cries of Rainbow Dash echoed through the room.
> Chapter 7: The Beginning of the End

Twilight and Starlight were escorting Scootaloo through the dungeon, showing fear on their faces. They've stopped at Rainbow Dash cell, showed that she's all chain up. The two mares opened the cell door and let the young filly in, but kept an eye on the prisoner.

Scootaloo stood in front of her cursed sister and call out to her, “Rainbow Dash.” Sadly, Rainbow head remains low and didn't say anything. “Rainbow, please say something,” she cried. She still remain silent. “Rainbow please!”

Finally, Rainbow Dash lifted up her head and noticed her sister appearance. “Ha kid,” she said. “Do I still look scary to you?”

Scootaloo didn't respond, but she began turning around slowly. However, she try to look directly at her possess sister, even though she's too scary to look at.

Rainbow Dash sighs and spoke, “I couldn't blame ya. If I looked myself in the mirror, I would be creep out as well.” She began to leak tears out of her eyes and cried, “Scootaloo, I'm so sorry for trying to kill you back there! I should have been strong enough to overcome this! If I could've control this darkness, I would've never hurt you! I'm so sorry for slapping you and even trying to kill back at the castle! I am the worst sister ever! In fact, I don't even deserve to live after what I’ve done to you!”

Then, the young filly refused to listen to her sister blamed herself for the things that she would never done. She rushed to her sister and did something that'll catch a major surprise to everypony. She fly to her sister and wrapped her hooves around her neck. Twilight and Starlight were speechless from Scootaloo first flight. Rainbow Dash stopped crying when she felt her little sister hug.

“Rainbow Dash,” she cried with tears running down her cheeks. “Stop blaming yourself! You hadn't done anything to me! You were controlled by a monster! You have no idea what to do? So, stopped blaming yourself for the things that you haven't done!”

Rainbow Dash hugged her sister back and smile for her first flight. She hold Scootaloo and drawn her chin towards her face. “Scootaloo,” she said. “I can't believe that you have taken your very first flight.”

Scootaloo was surprised as well. She just realized that she just had taken her first flight. The younger sister smile back and nuzzles Rainbow Dash. “I can't believe it as well,” she cried.

“I’m so proud you, squirt. I promise when I'm back to my normal self, we can fly together through Equestria… as sisters.”

Finally, the sisters bonding time ended shortly when Twilight and Starlight entered the cell. “Scootaloo,” the princess said. “Can you go join the others? We want to speak with Rainbow alone.”

“Alright.” Scootaloo flown slowly to the ground. As she was heading out, she shouted out, “Goodbye Rainbow! See you real soon!”

“Later squirt,” Rainbow Dash responded. As the cursed pony turned her friends, her smile faded. “So… how long am I going to be like this?”

“Until we find a cure for you condition,” Starlight answered. “It may take us days, weeks, or months. It would probably take us a year to find the antidote.”

“So that's how long that I’m going to be here, huh.”

“I’m so sorry, Rainbow.”

“It's alright girls. I would've locked myself up after what I’ve done to all of you. Anyway, I am the one who should've say sorry to you guys. I'm sorry for hurting you, torturing you, and even bring up the past.”

“It wasn't your fault, Rainbow Dash. It's your father who’d done this to you. You were under his spell and you couldn't control yourself.” 

Starlight look at Twilight and they both nodded. “I’m going to leave you two alone. I am pretty sure you two need to catch up.”

After Starlight left them, the princess rubbed her head from this awkward moment. She finally spoke to her locked up friend, “Rainbow… you were right. It's my fault… if I was strong enough back then when we fought Monster X, then none of this would've ever happen. You wouldn't have those scars, everypony in Ponyville wouldn't have been afraid, and you wouldn't have never turned into this. I am the worst friend ever.” Twilight began to cry about all of the crimes that she had caused to her friend.

Rainbow Dash finally shouting at her best friend, which ended her tears of sorrow, “Twilight stop it! Stop blaming yourself for the things that you've never done! I was just angry about what happened to me and I have no rights to blame you for it. You aren't responsible for this whole mess! Please stop blaming yourself!” Twilight began to form a smile from her friend encouragement. “Now come here and give me a hug.”

Twilight reached to her best friend and formed a big hug. Both of their tears of joy were running down their faces. As they were separating, both of their faces were blushing.

“Sorry for asking this too soon, but do you know who's your father and maybe where he is?”

“I-I'm so sorry Twilight, but I don't remember. To be honest, I don't even remember how I became this. I last remembered when I entered the everfree forest and after that everything kinda went to a blur. I'm sorry.”

“It's alright Rainbow. At least, we have a clue to his whereabouts.” Twilight began to leave Rainbow cell and spoke to her before she left, “I’m sorry Rainbow, but I have to meet up with Celestia and the others. There's a lot of explaining for what happened to you. I swear that we will find a cure for you.”

“I know you will,”Rainbow boasts her hopes up. “See ya later, Twilight.”

“Goodbye, Rainbow Dash.” Finally, the princess left her best friend alone, leaving her resting from the tragic night.





Twilight entered the throne room and joined the others. Everypony were waiting for the princess to return with news. Princess Celestia returned and landed in front of the others. “Listen everypony,” she said. “After Rainbow Dash has been secured, I sent a group of scouts to patrol the Everfree Forest for any suspicious activities. Let's hope we get words of the one who's behind this disaster.”

“Let us also hope this horrible situation will end soon,” Luna added. “And may we all lay rest after what happened this night.”

Before the princess exited the room with her sister, Starlight shoved Twilight for warning the princess about her cursed pony father. Luckily, the princess of friendship stopped Celestia from leaving and warned her, “Celestia… It's her father. Rainbow Dash father did this to her. She even told us while she was possess.”

Celestia looks at her sister with worry on their faces. Twilight already know that there's something suspicious going on her. It's obviously that they're hiding a secret from them. Finally, she stepped towards them and demanded, “Princess, what's going on? Do you know who's Rainbow father? We want to know who's her father.”

Everypony were staring at Celestia with concern, which caused her to be afraid of telling them the truth. Her sister drawn her attention and nodded. The princess warned them before she explains, “What I’m going to tell y’all isn't easy for me to say.” Everypony stared at each other with worry before refocused on the princess. Finally, she took a deep breath and revealed the truth. “Rainbow Dash is my daughter.”

Everypony, except for Pinkie Pie, gasp in shocked by the discovery. “Mmmm not surprise,” she said. They all turned to her with a confused look. “What? Both of their manes are the same color.”

“But who's her father,” Starlight asked.

Celestia sighed and answer, “Rainbow father… and my husband is… Sombra.”

Everypony gasped in horror from this unbelievable truth. Pinkie Pie both mane and tail buffed in horror and spoke in terror, “Now… I… Am… Shocked!”

“Your highness,” Rarity said. “How did all of this happen?”

“Yeah,” Fluttershy said in a low tone. “Why do you married that awful monster?”

Then, Princess Celestia took another deep breath and explain everything. “It happened a long time ago, after me and my sister became princesses. We were so young and peaceful back in the day, not a care in the world. Suddenly, my whole life changed when I met the love of my life. During my visit at the Crystal Empire, I met a wonderful researcher and a gentlecolt named Sombra, before he became evil. We spent the rest of our lives together and enjoyed ourselves as beautiful couples. We explored the world and witnesses amazing things that no pony could ever seen. Until, all of that changed when he asked me to marry him.

“It was the most happiest day of my life, because he was the very first who asked me to marry. We even made love after our wedding. Then, our lives gotten even better when we have a baby. Rainbow Dash was so beautiful when she was born. Actually, her real name is Aurora. Me and Sombra promised that we will always stick together and love our little Aurora.

“Sadly, our future together has not come true. While he was exploring around the Crystal Empire, Sombra was consumed by the darkness and became evil. He has hidden the Crystal Heart and announced himself ruler of the empire. After I’ve received the message, I was heartbroken, because my true love is gone and was replaced by an evil counterpart. In order to bring peace to the kingdom, my sister and I must face him.

“I tried to convince him to surrender and come back to our family… but the Sombra I knew and loved was gone. So, we have no choice but to kill him. However, Sombra will never die due to the sinister darkness within him. I was afraid that he will come and take away my daughter. In order to keep my little Aurora safe… is to give her up.

“I’ve abandoned my only daughter and given her a new home, where she could be safe.” Before she could come to her conclusion, tears were dripping from her eyes and cried, “I have lost everything! I lost my husband! My daughter! And my family!” Celestia wrapped away the tears and resumed speaking, “Sadly, this is the price to pay for falling in love with someone that I used know.”

After she was done explaining about her history with Sombra, most of the ponies in the room sobbed over the heartbreaking story. Cadance ended the moment by asking Celestia another big question. “Celestia,” she said, “I need to ask you something right now. During my fight against Rainbow Dash, she’d mentioned that you have lied to me and Twilight about us being your daughters. Please tell me that's not true… or is it.”

The princess turned to her sister for answers, but Luna turned away from disappointment. Celestia slowly turned to Twilight and Cadance and answer, “I am so sorry... but you two aren't my daughters.”

Both of them were shocked by Celestia response and so were the others. “Then,” Cadance said, “who's our mother?”

Princess Celestia mourned and explained to them about their real mother. “Your mother named is Amore. She was our older sister. However, she wasn't an alicorn yet, but she still become a princess. She was the true ruler of the Crystal Empire. Me and Luna always visit her once in awhile for dinner and tea time. She even introduced me to Sombra. During our wedding day, she was the one who announced me and Sombra as husband and wife. Until, everything changed when my husband became evil.

“When me and Luna arrived to the Crystal Empire, we try to rescue Amore first, but we couldn't find her. I demanded Sombra to release her, but…” Celestia stopped and sobbing, which bring fear to the young princesses. Finally, she wrapped away the tears and finished, “Amore, your mother… is dead.” Twilight and Cadance were shattered by the fate of their true mother. “Sombra has destroyed your mother before we could arrive.”

Twilight shook her head repeatedly, because she refused to believe her teacher story. Cadance fallen to the floor and crying over the tragic fate of her true mother. Her husband, Shining Armor, rushed towards her and comfort her sorrow. The younger sister rushed to her siblings, joined their hug, and began sobbing. Celestia wrapped her wings around them and whispers, “I am so sorry, but you two have to know the truth sooner.” The cries of the two sisters echoed the room.





Meanwhile, in the dungeon, all was quiet in the prison hall. One guard was guarding Rainbow Dash cell until his shift was over. Then suddenly, the cursed pony began crying in pain. She pleaded to the guard, “Guard! Please I need help!”

He turned to Rainbow Dash and spoke, “Princess Celestia is trying to find a cure for your disabled body. Now be quiet!”

“PLEASE!! SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH ME!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS BUT IT REALLY HURT!!”

“There's something wrong with you, but like I said the princess is finding a cure! NOW BE QUIET!” Suddenly, Rainbow Dash didn't respond and were quiet. “Finally, about time you stopped whining. Why don't you listen to me in the first place?” 

She was still silence and didn't move a muscle, which brought disturbance to the guard. “Prisoner?” He opened the cell and check on Rainbow Dash condition. He lay his ear towards her chest, but her heart wasn't beating. “Oh no.”





After Twilight and the other were calmed down, they were dismissed and began getting the filles, so they may head back home. While they were trotting through the halls, the girls were concerned about Twilight. She's still down about the truth about Rainbow Dash real parents and her real step mother.

Applejack lay her hoof on her friend's shoulder and asked, “Sugarcube, are ya alright?”

She slowly turned to her caring friends and responded, “Yeah… I'm fine. It's just… all of this is a lot to that, you know. Rainbow Dash is actually Celestia daughter, Celestia and Sombra are married, and Cadance mother, well my step mother, is dead.”

“It's alright sugarcube,” Applejack cheer her. “We all had been through rough times. Like ah have to learn the truth about my parents.”

“Like I learned try to stand up for myself and never hurt my dear friends,” Fluttershy said.

“Like I have learned never forced my friends to all of the work for me,” Rarity added.

“Like I have to learn to never take away other talents and never make yourself better than everyone else,” Starlight added.”

“Like I learned to never mixed baking soda with vinegar, because it really makes a big mess,” Pinkie added, even though it doesn't related to the conversation. The others stared at her and she spoke, “Oh sorry! That was all I could think about! I'm still freaked out that King Sombra is Dashie father! I mean Mind Blown!”

“Thank you girls,” Twilight said. “I really needed that. I'm also surprised that King Sombra is-” Suddenly, she stopped and began thinking about the evil tyrant. “Wait a minute!”

“What's wrong Twi,” Applejack asked.

“I don't understand. Why would King Sombra sent Rainbow Dash to attack me and the others instead of himself? If he was alive this whole time, then why didn't he done it earlier? Why didn't he assist his own daughter while she was attacking Celestia?”

“What do you subjects,” Starlight asked.

“Maybe he was planning to do something big that he didn't tell Rainbow Dash about. But why didn't he-” She stopped and thinking of what's King Sombra master plan. Finally, Twilight was shocked and hurried to the throne room. “Girls come on!” The others followed her without asking why.





Back in the throne room, Princess Celestia sat on her throne and stared at an old photo. The photo on its is herself, her righteous husband, and her adorable baby daughter. Tears are dripping from her eyes about the lost of her once perfect family.

Suddenly, a guard stormed into the room with Rainbow Dash on his back. Celestia was alerted by their presence and rushed to them. “Soldier,” she spoke. “What happened to her?”

“I don't know what's wrong with her,” he reported. “I check her pulse and heart, but they're remain silent. I don't know what to do.”

“Bring her to me.” After the guard placed the unconscious body to the princess, Celestia used her magic to scan her daughter body. Then, her magic detected a virus source in her lungs. “There's a virus inside of her. It's blocking her lungs! She can't breathe!”

“What should we do, your majesty?”

Celestia lowered her head and answered the solution. “There's only one way to save my daughter. I must extract the virus from her and into me.”

The guard gasps of the princess suicide plan. “But your majesty… you’ll die.”

“It's the only way to save my Aurora. It’s a price to pay for keeping the one I love alive.”

Finally, Celestia brought her daughter towards her and used her magic to extract the virus from her. The virus slowly excused from Rainbow Dash and into her mother. After she was finished, she nuzzles her daughter mane and whispered to her ear, “I love you… my little Dashie.”

Then suddenly, she was cut off by the guard sinister laugh occurring. She was confused why he was laughing at her end. She stared at his eyes and they're began to change. His eyes turned into dark green and his laugh change into a deeper tone. She already know who he is and was shocked.

Smoke of shadow came out of the guard, leaving the guard unconscious. The smoke form into, none other than, King Sombra. “SOMBRA,” Celestia cried as her husband laughed. “WHAT HAVE YOU-” 

Then, the princess began to cry in pain from the virus inside of her. She slowly trotted away from her husband while screaming in sorrow. Sombra shouted with joy, “AT LAST!! AT LONG LONG LAST I FINALLY DID IT!! Now, I finally have my vengeance and brought my lovely wife to her knees! I HAVE DONE!! I HAVE FINALLY GAIN CONTROL EQUESTRIA!!!”

Twilight and the others rushed into the room and founded Sombra stood before Rainbow Dash. “SOMBRA,” she yelled at the tyrant. “WHAT HAVE YOU-” She stopped and spotted Celestia, suffering. “CELESTIA!!”

“STAY AWAY FROM ME,” Celestia cried in pain. “RUNAWAY NOW!!!”

Then, what happened next will change everything. The girls watch Celestia horrified by her transformation while King Sombra was laughing. The princess body began to grew up a couple of inches. Her golden crown grew horns while her eye colors turned into dark violet. Finally, her mane dissolved and bursts into flames.

Celestia brought mighty infernos across the room, which destroyed every windows of their history. Her flames surrounded the girls while her laughter brought great fear to them, but brought excitement to King Sombra. Then, her roar echoed across the room in Equestrian voice, “PREPARED TO FEEL THE WRATH OF NIGHTMARE STAR!!!”
