This story is about how Queen Chrysalis takes her revenge on Twilight Sparkle for ruining her plan. Now Twilight has to find a way to stop Chrysalis again before Equestria has to endure the loss of a heart.
Twilight stared into a black void , pulling in everything like a vacuum. The world seemed to fall into a black hole. Out of nowhere she watched her friends spike and the princesses get pulled through. "No!" she cried vainly. Everything she ever knew was gone...... forever.
"Twilight wake up!" It was Spike. She opened her eyes up, just a crack. She saw worried green eyes staring at her.
"Spike?! You're OK!" Twilight threw her arms around him pulling him close.
"Uh, Twi? Nothing ever happened to me," he said confused.
"Oh, it must have been a dream then," she replied simply.
"Well that was some dream you were having. You wouldn't stop tossing and turning, I even heard you crying a bit," he informed her.
"Well I am glad to be awake now!" she said cheerfully.
"Remember Twilight the girls are coming over today because Pinkie came up with another random holiday to celebrate."
"If she comes up with anymore holidays I think I will burst I get so full!"
"Ha ha me too!" he said with a big smile.
"Well then I will go make us some breakfast and then we can clean up the library a bit for the party!" Twilight Sparkle said in a good natured tone.
"OK," Spike said simply. First Twilight made some cereal for the both of them, then they started dusting and mopping the floors.
~Two Hours Later~
"Finally done!" Spike said very relieved.
"Can I have a snack?" he asked.
Twilight giggled, "OK, but the girls will be here soon so something small!" she cried after him as he scurried away. "Oh Spike, what would I do without you?" she whispered to herself. Not long later Pinkie Pie arrived, carrying a basket of cupcakes and sasaparilla.
"I'M HE-RE-RE!" she sang in a very excited and happy tone.
"Hi Pinkie!" Twilight and Spike said in unison. "You can put the basket on that table over there," Twilight informed her.
"Okie-Dokie-Lokie!" she answered as best she could through the basket. After every pony else came, Pinkie gathered them together to tell the holiday. "OK so the holiday is........" she said in a getting-ready tone. "Drum roll please Spike!" Spike thrummed his hands on the ground in a drum roll. "The Two year anniversary of Twilight's first day in Ponyville!"
"WAIT, WHAT?!" she said very scared and surprised.
"I love you Twilight," Fluttershy said in her soft and mild voice.
"I love you too girls!" she answered back. Then, the black void returned sucking up her friends, books, everything! They yelled at Twilight, begging her to save them. "NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! GIRLS! SPIKE!!!! NO!" she yelled reaching to save them. Then everything was black and silent.

Twilight eyes shot open, wide with fear. She took in her surroundings, it was dark room with a green eerie glow to it. The room was laced with black and green webs, all gooey looking. "Hello?" she called out. It echoed around the room, giving her the same feeling it did when she was in the Canterlot catacombs. "Where am I?' she asked into the darkness. "Help me!!!" she yelled now in panic. A cackling, echoing, evil laughter filled the room. Queen Chrysalis. "Where are you? Show yourself!" Twilight Sparkle demanded.
"Ha, are you really going to try and play brave with me?" Chrysalis asked mockingly. She suddenly appeared in front of the purple unicorn, scaring her enough to make Twilight Sparkle jump.
"Why am I here?" the unicorn asked.
"Hmm, well I could give you an accurate answer." Chrysalis said lazily. "But you're smart enough you don't need one," she finished slyly. "Magic is good, and bad. Magic is beautiful and ugly. But one thing is not known by many about magic. That magic, will-" she was cut off by the rapid shaking of the ground. Her mouth curled up in a evil smile. "You will never win Sparkle!!!" With that, darkness enveloped the unicorn again.
When her eyes cracked open again, Twilight was scared she would still be in that room with Chrysalis. "T-T-Twi-Twilight?' the voice was Spike's, except it kept cracking and it sounded like he was crying.
"Spiikeee?" Twilight could barely get the word out of her mouth. Then another pony came into view.
"Ah, you are awake, Ms.Sparkle." the pony was Dr.Stable. She opened her mouth to ask him a bunch of questions but was interrupted. "I suggest not to speak considering you barely have any energy. I will inform you of your condition though. It seems to be that we are not sure what is wrong but we can definitely say that it is likely you will survive," his voice was very matter-of-fact. " I can go ahead and tell you that your friends are just outside. We made an acception for Spike, because of your relationship," he then walked out of the room and in came her very best friends.
"Hiya, sugar cube," Applejack's tone was soft and delicate. Rarity walked in next, tears staining her cheeks with partially blood shot eyes.
"Hey Twi," Rainbow's tone would have sounded laid back if she wasn't visibly shaking a bit. Fluttershy didn't say anything, she didn't even look at Twilight. Her pink mane was in a splayed out mess which covered her face.
"HELLO TWILIGHT!" Pinkie pie said in a forced happy tone. Her voice said one thing, but the eyes said another.
Spike sat in the waiting room, trying to take everything in. It had happened so fast....... "Spike, she is gonna be OK. We know that for a fact sugar," Applejack's voice was barely comforting.
"Yeah... sure," came the blunt reply.
"Come on Spike. We can't do anything but trust the doc," Rainbow was shaking, but that didn't stop her from agreeing with A.J. They had recently left Twilight Sparkle's room, she didn't have the energy to do anything, and for the fact that it was too hard for them to watch her.
"I wonder what happened?" Pinkie asked the question at last. "Was it a heart attack?" She looked hopeful that was all that had happened.
"Dr.Stable said he has no idea what happened," Rarity answered.
"I know I was just hoping.........," there was no need for any more words as tears welled up in her eyes again.
"Aww sugar come 'ere," Applejack directed their pink friend.
Spike didn't wanna hear anymore. He couldn't hear anymore. So Spike went back into Twi's room. "Hey," he greeted her.
"Spike..listen....," her words were slow and barely hearable.
"Yeah Twilight?!" he had a full attention span.
"Chrysalis..... coming..... stop.... late.....," she tried to make her meaning clear but Spike was more confused than ever.
"What do you mean?" he asked, but she was already going unconscious. "No wait Twilight what do you mean?!" he was scared she would forget when she awoke. Dang it! Spike thought.
"Spike? Are you ok?" the voice was soft, mild, and caring. Fluttershy's voice.
Spike didn't realize he was crying. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine.....," he tried to sound sure of himself but it came out sad and depressed.
"Spike, I know this is especially hard for you. But remember we're here for you! Twilight is going to survive, I know she will," Fluttershy sounded so sure, so strong. Spike broke again and ran into her arms crying harder than ever.
"I believe you! I-I-I really t-truly do-o-o!" he cried so hard. I love all of you so much... Thank you for being here for us! Thank you....
It had been a week since Twilight was stationed in the hospital until she grew strong again, but the hopes of that happening were fading every day. Twilight Sparkle had grown used to having Frenemy chats with Chrysalis, the odd thing was that Chrysalis kept talking to Twilight as if nothing was wrong with her. They were sitting at a table having another frenemy chat, Twilight was sipping on some awful tasting tea, but it was addictive so she just kept drinking it.
The ground started shaking, Twilight knew she was waking up. Instead of the room glowing blue, it was glowing gold.
"No!!! This can't be happening I have almost everything I need!! She can't interfere now!!" Chrysalis yelled out annoyed.
"What do you mean?!" Twilight called back.
"Just remember I always win, one way or another!" the queen shouted back.

"Oh my goodness!!! Sister are you ok?!" the voice was full of concern and care.
Twilight sat up rubbing her head, eyes squeezed shut. What she saw when she opened them made her scream. "EEEEEEEEKKK!"
A hoof was shoved in her face . "Calm down Twilight......," the voice replied warily.
"Honestly this is not the reaction I was hoping to get." the voice muttered to herself.
"Who are you?!" Twilight asked full of surprise.
"My name is Velvet Twinkle......," the voice replied sadly.
"Okayyyy, next question wh-" Twilight was cut off.
"I look like you because I am your twin sister. I died ten minutes after we were borne. Look mom and dad thought it was best you and Shining never knew about me, but I always knew about and watched over you. I protected you as long as I could from Discord, and kept Cadence alive until you could find her when Chrysalis was around. In short, I love you and protect you," Velvet Twinkle's voice was full of love and emotion.
"Wow.... I never thought....," Twilight was still shocked.
"Twilight, Chrysalis is trying to kill you! I cannot go where she can go but I can keep you alive even it means ridding myself of my power source and giving it all to you!!! You had the chance to live, I'm going to make sure you keep that chance!" Velvet was very sad and she had protectiveness blanketing it.
"I knew Chrysalis couldn't be a friend in any way!" Twilight raged.
The ground starting shaking and everything was turning blue. "Sister you have to tell the elements!!!!" Velvet yelled.
"I will!!!! I promise I will sister!!" Twi called back.

Twilight's eyes shot open. Strength was finally going through her body some, it must've been from visiting her sister. "Spike!" she cried out.
"Twi?!" it was Rainbow.
"Get Spike... others...," after yelling she felt a little weaker.
R.D. raced out. Twilight leaned her head back on her pillow.
"Twilight sugar! Are ya'll ok?!" Applejack rushed to her side and held Twilight's hoof.
After everypony was in the room she started talking.
"It's Chrysalis, she- is trying- to kill me," every word was somewhat of an effort.
"Not her again!" Rainbow protested.
"Darling, is that what this is all about?!" Rarity asked.
Twilight just nodded.
"Why when I get my hooves on her I'm gonna crush her head!!!" Fluttershy yelled her eyes full of anger and hatred. "I-I-I mean, Twilight we are going to stop her!" she corrected embarrassed.
"No... No Twilight you can't die!" Pinkie wailed.
Spike was snuggling his face in Twilight's leg tears flowing freely from his eyes.
"I knew you girls would......" Twilight told them weakly. Her eyes drooped, and she went to sleep.
She watched Twilight close her eyes, shock pulsed through Applejack at the calmness in their dying friend. Most ponies are scared of death, Applejack was one of those many ponies. She had watched her parents die, and had watched her best filly friend die. Applejack was not about to let somepony else close to her pass away, not when she could do something about it!
"No no no,Twilight please don't die! I need you!!!" Spike cried.
Applejack still clung to the purple unicorn's hoof, scared that if she let go Twilight would die.
"What are we gonna do now?! I say we go after that wretched, ugly, swiss-cheese monster!!!!" Rainbow screamed.
"Here here!" Rarity joined.
"I will personaly crush her stupid, worthless skull! No one takes my friends away, NO ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!" Fluttershy was full of rage and hatred. Also love for Twilight Sparkle.
"We should do the most logical thing possible ya'll that would be tell Princess Celestia and let her decide what to do," Applejack countered knowing that Chrysalis was too strong for them to take on without the elements.
"I agree no pony should get more hurt than they need to," Pinkie Pie agreed.
"I'll get on that letter!" Spike grabbed a quill, ink , and parchment. He quickly jotted down their situation and sent it to the Princess.
"We should get a response any minute now," he informed them as he continued to hug Twilight.
He was quite right because not long later he got a message! It read:
Dear Spike,
I wish you had told me of this earlier. I believe the best thing to do is for me to send some guards to her banishment land. There they may kill her and then Twilight shall be free. I will send my guards right away. Meanwhile do not let anypony else know of this.

After Spike read the letter aloud, everypony was shocked that Celestia was so calm!
"I still say we try and find and kill her ourselves!" R.D. stated.
"Yes! Victory will not be sweet unless we protect her ourselves," Fluttershy joined.
"Let us go and defend our friend!" Rarity cheered.
"Uh, hate to break it to ya'll, but we have no idea where the Swiss Cheese Queen was banished," Applejack lectured them.
"Oh, right," Rainbow smiled sheepishly.
"There must be some way to track her down!" Rarity pressed.
"Wait! Didn't Chrysalis get sent back to where she came from?!" Pinkie exclaimed.
"Pinkie has a point," Fluttershy commented.
"There must be a book or something egghead like that that can tell us where she comes from!" Rainbowdash said.
"Ah reckon some of them there boks in Twilight's library can tell us," A.J. told them warily.
Applejack still didn't want to be brash about it , yet there was something inside of her. Anger? No. Hatred? No. Protection? Yes! She now knew what she needed to do! "Lets go and kill us a Changeling Queen!!!!" A.J. cheered.
"I knew you would come around!" Rainbow told her.
"Lets do this!" Pinkie Pie cheered.
"I'm gonna go crush that skull!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Fluttershy screamed.
Twilight sat at the table in that same icky room drinking that same addictive tea talking with Chrysalis. "Why is this tea so addictive?" Twilight finally asked.
"And then I said-" Chrysi stopped talking when Twilight asked. "Oh, well first: that isn't tea. Second: It is addictive so that way when you found out what really is you wouldn't be able to stop drinking it." She let out a cackle, "Aren't I clever?"
" What do you mean ' not tea'?" the velvet unicorn asked warily.
"It is just my own little concoction of poison," Chrysalis answered.
"WHAT?!?!?" Twilight Sparkle screeched.
"Yes my little pony, poison," Chrysalis said the word with venom. The evil alicorn let out a bit of cackling laughter.
Twilight suddenly felt faint. I'm drinking poison?!?! Twilight was going into shock, yet she wanted more of it. That scared her. The room glowed yellow, she was being taken away! Relief swept through Twilight.
After more of that yellow stuff she was sitting on a cloud in front of Velvet Twinkle. "Oh my gosh are you ok?!" Velvet asked panicky.
Fluttershy walked through the aisles of the Super Market. She put a chocolate bar in her basket, then added milk. As she went to the check out line, Fluttershy noticed Bic Macintosh looking at cans of wet dog food, probably for Winona. Then Fluttershy noticed the brand name he was looking at.
She rushed towards him and spoke in her soft voice. "That isn't a very good brand name to be looking at."
He gasped for a second in surprise. Then Bic Mac looked down at the pegasus. "Why?" he asked. She was a pet expert and knew a lot about animals, but this was the cheapest brand.
"Well for one, there isn't enough everyday vitamins in this brand. And Winona is a farm dog so she needs as many as needed for her activities. Don't forget the fact that this doesn't have any protein in it. You should try that brand over," Fluttershy was almost out of breath after giving her reasons.
Big Mac turned and looked at the suggested dog food. "Eeyup," he replied.
"Goodbye," Fluttershy said and went to checkout.
After checking out, Fluttershy went home to feed her pets. Then, she pulled out a map. It was a map of the entire world. She took some measurements and started mapping out her plan. She wasn't about to let Chrysalis get away with it. Not now, not ever. After finishing, Fluttershy saw that the banishment land was beyond the Everfree forest.
"Beyond Everfree?" the mare asked herself. "How is that even possible? How are we going to get there? Oh my goodness...," it was too much to think about.
So, she resorted to holding a meeting with Pinkiepie, Applejack, Rainbowdash, and Rarity. After explaining a few things, the girls brainstormed.
" Why don't we just rent that hot air balloon in the middle of town to just fly over the forest?" Rainbow asked confused.
"Do you have any idea how expensive that will be? An outrageous amount of money!" Rarity exclaimed.
"Lets just walk through the forest! It'll be fun!" Pinkie announced clearly pleased with her idea.
"I don't think walking through a dark, dank, creepy forest is fun Pinkie," Fluttershy commented quietly.
"Going by hoof won't be that bad, what other choice do we got?" Applejack asked them.
"As much as I don't want to, Applejack is right. We must trudge through the forest before time runs out," Rarity said bravely.
"Then we walk! I'll go pack my camping bag," R.D. stated, and left the cottage.
"Well then, I guess we will meet here at dawn," Rarity observed, and made her way to the boutique.
"Guess we will, see ya'll in the mornin'," A.J. then left the house to go to her own.
"I love camping!!! I will be here tomorrow Flutters!" Pinkie exclaimed enthusiastically, then left bouncing.
"I hope this is just a camping trip," Fluttershy whispered into the empty cottage.
