> Love Is Always With You > by PrincessLunaSara > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Love at First Sight > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was a bright sunny day in Canterlot, and the royal sisters were sitting on their thrones talking to one another. "Tia, when do you think my special some pony will come to me?" Luna asked. "I am not certain when that fateful day will come, but I do know that when you meet him you will know," Celestia replied. "Thou art right sister, but I'm just too impatient to wait for him to appear. I mean you have found some pony special, and I have not. This does not seem just," Luna said. "Do not say it is not just Luna, thou knows't that has nothing to do with anything. Love finds different ponies at different moments, love will come to you when you least expect it to," she said. "Really, art thou certain of this?" Luna asked. "I am very certain of it," she said, " Now we must prepare for the Grand Galloping Gala, maybe you will meet your true love tonight." Celestia left the room to begin planning the grand party scheduled for that night. Luna sat up and smiled hoping for the best, but she still had some doubt deep inside her. She did however, try to maintain a positive attitude because it was her birthday, and she did not want to ruin her birthday celebration that night. In another part of Canterlot, a young stallion was in his home reading one of his favorite pieces of literature. "Sombra, what art thou doing up there?" Star Swirl the Bearded asked. "I am just reading Romeo and Juliet father," he replied. Every pony knew Star Swirl the Bearded was the most brilliant and important conjurer in all of Equestria, but he had longed for a child to raise as his own, so one day he adopted Sombra. "A Shirespeare play, marvelous choice son," Star Swirl said. "I know. Although it is a tragic tale, I do enjoy it so," Sombra replied. "Do not forget about the Grand Galloping Gala tonight, maybe you will meet a some pony special this eve. "Father, that is all I dream about, and thou knows't that for a fact," he said. "I do indeed, now quickly dress up we have a gala to attend." Soon, the time of the gala approached, and the Grand Canterlot Ballroom began to fill with many ponies I fancy vêtements. The two sisters stepped into the room, and Celestia was going to speak. "Mares and gentlecolts, I welcome all of you the First Annual Grand Galloping Gala, and the seventeenth birthday of my sister Princess Luna" she announced. The room began to fill with applause from the hundreds of guests. Then, Sombra laid his eyes upon Princess Luna. He had never felt this feeling before, it was like there was a ton of pressure on his chest. It felt as if he could not breathe. "Heavens above, she is the most beautiful mare I have ever laid my eyes upon, I must meet her tonight," Sombra said. The music began to start as the princesses made there way through the crowd greeting their guests. Soon, Princess Luna bumped into Sombra, and she collapsed to the ground. "Fair princess, art thou alright?" Sombra asked. "Yes, thank you sir," Luna replied blushing. "My name is Sombra, Princess Luna," he said. "Please there is no need to call me by that title Sombra, I prefer to be called Luna," she said. "As you wish, Luna," he said with a smile, "so thou art seventeen tonight that is very exciting is it not?" "Yes, it is very exciting," she said, "how old art thou?" "That is an interesting question because this day I have also turned seventeen," he said. "That is wonderful I would have never guessed thou had the same birthday as I," she said excitedly. "I know that you are the only pony I have ever met with my same birthday, I guess that makes you very special," he said. When he said this Luna's cheeks changed to a lovely shade of red. Sombra smiled at her. With love in his eyes, he took an opportunity to tell Luna how he felt about her. "Luna, I have to tell you something important," Sombra said blushing. "What is it?" Luna asked. "When I first laid my eyes on you, I felt this feeling I have never experienced before," he said, making Luna blush even more, "I am in love with you Luna." "As am I with you Sombra, I feel precisely the same as you do," she said, causing him to blush. The two of them ran into the ballroom, so Sombra could meet Princess Celestia. "Over there I see her, Tia!" Luna exclaimed. "Luna, who is you friend?" Celestia asked. "I am Sombra your highness," Sombra said. "You are Star Swirl's son are you not?" She asked. "I am his son princess," he said. "That is amazing, he taught Tia and I many things when we were younger," Luna mentioned. "That is great to hear Luna, he is very a amazing stallion," he said. "So Sombra do you fancy my sister?" Celestia asked. "Yes actually, this night I have fallen in love with her," he said. "And I him," Luna said. "Marvelous, now you two lovers go waltz," Celestia said. Luna and Sombra danced and talked the entire night until the gala was ended. It was time for Sombra to depart with his father, to head home. "Must you leave me now?" Luna asked. "Yes love, I must go home now, but I wish I could stay with you," Sombra said. "Sombra it is time to depart for home now," Star Swirl said. "Promise me you will visit me on the morrow?" Luna asked. "Luna I swear, I promise," he replied. Then, they kissed each other tenderly, and Sombra departed with Star Swirl for the night. The next morning, Luna was awaken by a noise out side her balcony. She discoverd Sombra was the noise she heard, and he was knocking on her window. "Sombra what art thou doing on my balcony?" Luna asked. "I just had to see thee this fine morning," he replied. "Thou art not supposed to be here at this time, Celestia will be angry with me for inviting you in," she said. "Why is that?" He asked. "I am a maiden my love, I have only just met thee, and I should not be inviting you into my chambers it is not proper," she replied. "Darling, thou must know I would never try to do anything to you," he said. "I know, but my dear sister would think other wise, she is only this way for my sake," she said, "she does not hate thee but..." "I understand completely," he said, "I will leave you now, but I want to see thee later in the day." "Possibly for lunch?" She asked. "That sounds perfect," he replied. Luna and Sombra kissed, then he descended down the wall. Celestia soon walked into Luna's chambers. "Sister it is time for breakfast," Celestia said. "I come anon Tia," Luna replied. When Luna arrived in the dining hall a tasty breakfast was laid upon the table. "This looks delicious does it not?" Luna asked. "It looks absolutely delicious," Celestia replied. "Good morrow ladies," Discord said. "Hello dear," Celestia said. Celestia and Discord had been married for about four years, and they also had a son, Cyrus. Cyrus was three years old, he had a white colored coat, golden hair, and all the arms and legs his father had. Discord was still a draconequus, but he was not much for creating chaos at the time, although he still played small pranks. "How is our little prince doing this morning?" Celestia asked. "Cyrus is just fine, he is sleeping soundly," Discord replied, "So Luna I have been hearing a lot about this Sombra fellow from Tia." "I am sure thou knows't much about my love now," Luna replied, "that reminds me, Tia I was planning to have lunch with him this afternoon if I could." "Why of course thou can," she said. "Oh thank you sister," Luna said, while she ran to her room. "Tia, she is deeply in love with that boy is she not?" Discord asked. "Oh she definitely is," she replied. Soon, it was noon, and Sombra was just about to walk out the door when... "Where art thou going?" His father asked. "To lunch sir, with my love," he replied. "Alright, but you must be home on the second hour to study for your test tomorrow," he said. "I will be home by then father," he replied. Luna was waiting by the castle gates for Sombra, and then he was in her sight. "My lady I am here to escort you to lunch," he said. "Why thank you my lord," she said. So the two lovers headed off to lunch, having no idea what would come next. > Chaos Strikes > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- As Luna and Sombra were walking back to the castle when a guard came running towards them. "Princess Luna, your sister requests your presence immediately," he said. "I will be there straight," she replied, "Sombra head home to your father now I think something is wrong." "Alright be safe," he said. Luna flew as fast as she could to meet with her sister. "Sister I came as fast as I could, what has happened?" Luna asked. "Discord's chaos magic got out of control, he has left, but he will come back to fight us," Celestia replied. "He must want to make everything chaotic," Luna said. "Yes, thou art right in saying that," Celestia said. "What are we to do?" Luna asked. "We must use the Elements of Harmony to stop him, or he will take over all of Equestria," Celestia said. "This must be difficult for thee, he is your husband, and Cyrus's father," Luna mentioned. Celestia then began to break down in tears. "Luna, this is one of the worst days of my life, my heart is breaking in two as we speak," she said, "but we must defeat him for the good of our subjects. "I will retrieve the elements sister," Luna said, "then we will wait for him to return." Just as Luna was leaving a blast of powerful magic broke a huge hole in the wall, causing both sisters to collapse to the ground. The ponies below consumed in fear began to panic, and run widely about Canterlot. Sombra began to run towards the castle to help Luna and Celestia, but there were too many ponies coming straight at him, trying to leave the city to reach safety. All he could hope for was that they were still alive. "Discord show your self!" Celestia exclaimed. "My dear Tia must you be so serious?" Discord asked. "Where art thou coward?" Luna asked. "Now Lulu do not be a bore like your sister," he said. "My sister and I are right to be serious when our subjects need protection, now stop hiding at fight us coward," Luna replied. "Oh this will be such a joy for me," he said excitedly. Discord then blasted more magic towards them. After they avoided the blast they were now outside the castle, and they were visible to Sombra who was watching with terror at the scene. "Luna this way hurry," Celestia said. "Oh how adorable you think you can escape my chaos," Discord said laughing. Discord hit Celestia and Luna with his magic, causing them to fall to the ground below them. They took that opportunity to dash inside the castle to retrieve the elements. Soon, they appeared once more, but they now had the elements. They blasted Discord and he turned to stone. Seeing the battle was finished, Sombra ran to their side. "Luna!" Sombra yelled. "Sombra we are here listen to my voice," she replied. "Thank goodness thou art both alright," he said. "Thank goodness thou art alright," Luna replied. Celestia was crying once more, kneeling at the statue's side. "Celestia how art thou feeling about these events?" He asked. "I am feeling much better since we have stopped Discord from taking over Equestria, but I do still love him, and I miss him," she replied. Eventhough all of Equestria was safe, the heartache of Celestia was painful for her loved ones to witness. The ponies all rejoiced, as she grieved. Luna on the other hand hated him because he had betrayed them for his own interests. Sombra did not know what to think, he barely knew him, so he just watched as Celestia cried, and as Luna looked upon Discord with hatred in her eyes. However, happiness then returned to Celestia because Luna was to be married to Sombra soon. > Wedding Planning > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The next week was consumed by planning at the wedding of Luna and Sombra. All of Equestria rejoiced as the news was spread from place to place. "This is so exciting Luna it is a honor to be your Stallion of Honor!" Nightingale said excitedly. "Thou art my best friend of course I would chose thee," she replied smiling. Nightingale had been Luna's friend ever since she could remember, so she asked him to be her Stallion of Honor. He was also the Captain of the Night Guard. "Luna it is time to be measured for your dress," Celestia said. "Give me a moment," she said "I should probably leave too I must return to my duties," Nightingale said. "I will see thee at the Rehearsal Dinner this evening," she said "Luna!" Celestia yelled. "I come anon sister be patient," she replied. The royal sisters made their way to the room were the seamstress was, and she began to measure Luna. "Princess Luna, what colors woulds't thou like the Bridesmaids' and Stallion of Honor's clothing to be?" The seamstress asked. "I would like them to be navy blue and silver," Luna replied. "Excellent choice your highness, I have just the fabrics," she said. "Those are perfect thank you," Luna said. "Of course princess," she said. The next day, in another part of Canterlot, Sombra was going to speak with one of his friends to ask her a question. "Hello Veta," he said. "Hola Sombra what is it?" She asked. Veta Page was one of Sombra's friends and classmates. She was the only mare in his class, she was very intelligent, and she was an amazing writer. "Will you be my Mare of Honor?" He asked "Absolutely, I would love to, gracias amigo!" She exclaimed. "Thou art welcome Veta," he replied. The next day, in the castle, Celestia was looking through the planning list. "We have finished everything except the bouquets and the decorations," she said, "Luna, what flowers art thou favorite?" "Blue roses," she replied. "What color should the ribbons hanging in the room be?" Celestia asked. "Turquoise," Luna replied. "Thank you Luna, that is all," Celestia said. "Thou art welcome sister," she replied. The week soon flew by and the wedding was soon approaching Luna and Sombra, which only made them more nervous and excited about it. You could say they were very nervousited. > The Wedding > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luna was in here dress, waiting for Celestia to tell her when the wedding was starting. She looked out her window, and she saw hundreds of ponies and other creatures walking into the castle. Then, her sister walked in. "Luna you look beautiful," Celestia said. "Thank you Tia," she replied. "If only our dear mother and father were alive to see you as a bride," she said. "I wish they were too, but as I see it them both are watching proudly from heaven," Luna said. "Thou art right. Now shall we hence to the Wedding Hall?" Celestia asked. "Let us hence," Luna replied. When Celestia entered the room, every pony stood to listen to her speak. "Mares and gentlecolts, I welcome you to this grand ceremony this fine afternoon. My sister Princess Luna and soon to be brother in-law Lord Sombra, are very excited about this special day. I thank you all for attending, and let the wedding commence," she said. After the Bridesmaids and Stallion of Honor entered, in came Luna. Sombra was mesmerized by her beauty, and he could not wait to become her husband. "Mares and gentlecolts, we are gathered here today to witness the union of Princess Luna and Lord Sombra," she said. Soon after it was time to say their vows. "I Luna take you Sombra to be my husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, according to God's holy law; and this is my solemn vow," Luna said. "I Sombra take you Luna to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, according to God's holy law; and this is my solemn vow," Sombra said. "Princess Luna and Lord Sombra, it is my great pleasure to pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss the bride," Celestia said. Everyone in the room stood and clapped for the married couple. Then, everyone head outside to the garden for the Wedding Reception. Everyone ate diner, talked and danced for hours until it was the ten o'clock. "Son I am very proud of thee," Star Swirl said, with tears in his eyes. "Thank you father," Sombra said. "Sombra you have better take care of my little sister," Celestia said. "I promise Tia," he replied. At the moment the couple got into their carriage, and they headed off to their Honeymoon destination for a week. > First Time > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- When they got to their destination Sombra carried Luna, threw her onto the bed and kissed her deeply. "Art thou ready?" Sombra asked. "I... I think... so," Luna replied. "On my honor I will not hurt you intentionally," he said. "I know," she said. "I am going to undress thee now if that is alright," he said. "Carry on then," she said. Luna was so nervous that she could not look Sombra straight in the face. After she was undressed, it was her turn to undress him. Soon, both of them had their wedding clothes off. Now, Luna was so nervous that she could not even speak, much less look at Sombra. "Luna I know thou art nervous I am nervous my self, if you look at me speak I am certain you will be less nervous, I know I will be less nervous gazing upon thee," he said. Luna decide to gaze upon him and smiled. Then, she discovered that her nervous level lowered, so she decide to talk to her husband. "I am ready now," she said. "Alright," he said. They started to kiss once more, and Sombra slowly entered Luna. Luna's cheeks turned bright red as she began to cry out and moan. "Ohhhhh S... Sombra," she moaned. "Y... Yes Luna?" He asked. "I love thee," she said. "And I you," he replied. Soon they were to exhausted to keep making love, so they fell asleep in each other's arms, and slept into the late afternoon. > Little Princess > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- A couple years had past since their wedding night, and now they had a little one to care for. Luna gave birth to a little filly named Stella. She had a pale grey coat, deep blue eyes and navy blue hair with a single red streak in it. Cyrus, Celestia's son, was now three. He loved his baby cousin as much as anyone, even though his mother was paying attention to Stella most of the time. "Stella is crying," Luna said. "I will handle it you need rest to regain strength," Sombra replied, "hush Stella hush, I knows't thou art hungry I will give thee to your mother." "She is everything we have ever wanted," Luna said. "And she is just as beautiful as her mother," he said. "Thou art too much," she said, rolling her eyes. "Come on now, thou knows't you love me like that," he said. "I do," she laughed. "She is sleeping now thank God," he said, "What?" "Honestly Sombra, Stella is a baby that is what she does," she said. "Thou has a point, but you must agree with me slightly," he said. He "Perhaps I do," she said. "Goodnight... again," he said. "Goodnight," she said When they had woken the next day, Princess Celestia had heartbreaking news for Sombra. "Sombra, I must speak to thee it is important," Celestia said. "Alright, what is it?" He asked. "It is Star Swirl... he... he..." she said. "He what?" He asked. "He has passed away," she said. "No," he mumbled. "Pardon me?" She asked "Thou art lying, this is not true," he said. "I assure thee, it is and I am sorry," she said. Sombra stood there and stared at the floor, as his eyes filled up with tears. Then, Luna walked over to them. "What has happened?" Luna asked. "Star Swirl has passed away," Celestia said. "Ay me, what sad news this is," Luna replied. "It is not true, I will not believe this news," Sombra said crying. "My love, I am afraid it is true," Luna said. "No it is not Luna, shut thy mouth!" Sombra yelled. "Thou dost not have to yell at me!" Luna yelled. "Both of thee stop this fighting," Celestia said. "No thou stop you insolent princess!" He yelled. "Do not speak to my sister that way!" Luna yelled. "Thou art the insolent one!" "Luna, unhoof me before I injure thee!" He yelled. With one push Luna fell to the ground, hitting her head on the tile floor. "Thine child cries from hearing you fight, can thou not see that?" Celestia asked, "Dost thou not see what you have done to your love?" Sombra looked at Luna, and he realized what he had done was a horrible mistake. "Thou art lucky you have not injured her more," Celestia said. "Luna art thou alright love?" Sombra asked. "Uhhhh my head," she groaned, "I think I am alright, just a little faint." "I will fetch Stella and bring her to thee," he said. "What is it Tia?" Luna asked. "Thine husband almost killed you," she replied. "I know sister," Luna said. "I am surprised you take that do lightly," she said. Then, Celestia left the room, returning to her royal duties. Luna had noticed what Sombra had done, but she had know idea what was coming. All she could think of was how happy they were with their little princess. > Darkness Rises > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sombra had noticed how he was acting around his loved ones, and he was afraid of what real harm he could afflict on them. To clam his nerves, he went to the Canterlot Library to read some books. It was strange, no pony was to be found in the library. Usually many ponies were reading up on the history and culture of Equestria, but in the room there was only Sombra. So, he sat down and began to read some Shirespeare plays. "Brilliantly written and very entertaining," he said. "Hola amigo," Veta said. "Oh hello Veta," he said. "I had to tell thee," she said "Tell me what exactly?" He asked. "All of Canterlot knows what thou did to Luna yesterday," she replied. "Ay me. I feel awful for allowing that to occur, and I do love my princess, but I do not know what is happening to me," he said. "The worst part is every pony is beginning to fear for their lives, because of Discord, and now thy own self my friend," she said. Sombra stared at Veta with angry eyes. Veta was very nervous soon, and she was prepared to run or fight if she had to. "I certainly hope my friend dost not in fear," he said. Veta did not respond. Sombra's stare became more intense upon her. Veta was so afraid that she was shaking, but she did not think to run. Then, the unthinkable... "Thou art just as afraid as every pony else!" He yelled. "Sombra, *cough* please stop this I cannot *gasp* breathe," she said. He finally released her throat, and she began to gasp for air. Veta turned to her friend, and she began to cry. "You should leave Veta," he said, "before I kill thee." Veta ran home crying to Nightingale, who was now her husband. "Veta what has happened, what art thou in tears," Nightingale asked. "Sombra intentó matarme," she replied. "English please I do not understand Spanish dear," "Sombra tried to kill me," she said. "Why would he do such a thing," he asked. "He has been possessed by a dark magic I believe," she said. "I must have an audience with Princess Celestia about this," he said. After the audience, they gathered some guards together and headed to the library. When they arrived, books were everywhere as if a tornado had struck the place. There was a letter placed on a table near the entrance, it was for Luna. Celestia handed over the letter to her and let her read it in private. The letter said: Dear Luna, I now realize that I am more powerful and dangerous than I thought. I cannot stay with thee and Stella any further. In fear of harming you both, I have departed Canterlot for thine own wellness, and I will miss thee every moment we are apart. I am now a monsterous creature, who will have no love for anyone. Please not search for me, thou art better off with me no longer with thee. Love, Sombra "Ay me, this pain I am feeling is unbearable. I have not felt this much pain since mother and father passed away," she said crying, "I love thee Sombra, having you gone is making me miserable, I shall never find joy or love again." Luna was heartbroken, so she locked herself and Stella in her room for weeks. She never spoke to anyone, but her child. She decide had to find her love, no matter what he would do to her when she found him > Finding Sombra > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luna secretly asked Nightingale to seek out Sombra, and he had news for her, about one year after his search. "Luna, I have found Sombra's hideout," Nightingale said. "Where is he?" She asked. "He is in the Crystal Empire," he replied. "I will travel there straight," she said. "There is another piece of news," he said. "Tell me then," she demanded. "He has over thrown the previous King and disposed of him. Sombra is the ruler of the crystal ponies now, and he is ruthless, so I beg thee not to hence to the empire," he said. "I believe thee, but I must see my love," she said. "I hope he still has love to give after the dark magic possessed him," he said. "I am hoping for the best Nightingale," she said. After she rose the moon, Luna departed for the Crystal Empire, in the dark stillness of her night. She soon arrived in the empire, where she was greeted by a guard at the castle doors. "Halt who goes there?" He asked. "Princess Luna, here to have an audience with his majesty King Sombra," she replied. "Let me have a word with his majesty, I will tell him thou art here," he said. "Thank you sir," she said. Luna waited outside the doors until the guard returned. "Your highness, the king has accepted thine audience," he said. "Will thou lead me to him?" She asked. "This way my lady," he said. Soon, Luna stood in the throne room. She glanced at her love, but she could not believe how much he had changed. "This will be a private conversation, leave us," Sombra demanded. Sombra turned his head to look upon his princess, and spoke. "Luna, my princess, I told thee not to seek me out!" He yelled. "As thou can tell, I do not care, and I still love you," she said, "My life is shattered with out thee." "Shut thy mouth... now!" He yelled. "No," she said. "Dost thou not know what I am capable of?" He asked. "You can beat me all thou wants, even to death, my love will never change!" She yelled. "I would watch thine tone of voice!" He yelled. Sombra grabbed her arm and pulled her close. Then, he lifted a hand. Luna thought he was about to strike her with it, but he grabbed her face and kissed her. Sombra had been possessed by dark magic, but her love was always deep within his heart. "Will thou stay with me this beautiful night?" He asked. "I will, I love thee with all my heart," she said. "And I you, my princess," he said. > A Secret No More > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was almost morning in Canterlot, and Princess Celestia was about to raise the sun. She noticed Luna was not appearing, so she could lower the moon. Soon, the moon was lowered, and Celestia did not think of anything, until it was late afternoon. Usually Luna would get something to eat by this time, but she did not. Celestia ran to her sister's room, but she was not there. "Luna, where art thou?" She asked. Now, the princess was extremely worried. "Guards!" She yelled "Your highness what is it?" Nightingale asked. "My sister, she is missing," she said, "and my niece too." "Stella is with Veta and I, your highness," he said. "Why dost thou have my sister's child?" She asked. "I am sworn to secrecy by Luna," he replied. "Thou must say where she is I am worried," she said. "She ordered me to seek out Sombra, it took a year, but I found him. Thine sister was with her husband all night, in the Crystal Empire," he said. "Sombra might be harming her, he has no love in his heart since he was possessed. I must travel alone to the empire to rid of Sombra, Luna and I must save those ponies he rules," she said. "As you wish Princess Celestia," he said. Luna was just about to leave the empire to get Stella, when her sister flew in. "Tia?" Luna asked. "There is no time for questions, we must rid of King Sombra," she said. "I will not aid thee in the ridding of my husband," Luna said, "he still loves me sister, and he has not harmed me in anyway." Celestia knew that Luna would be heartbroken, but they had to rid of him. "Luna we must save these ponies, they are suffering under thine love's rule," she said. "I cannot, my heart is already breaking... again," Luna said. "I am sorry, but..." She said. "I know sister, I will go say goodbye to my love now," Luna said. Luna entered King Sombra's throne room, to say goodbye. "Luna why dost thou seem full of sadness?" He asked. "I have come to say goodbye to thee," she replied. "Thine sister is here to banish of me is she not?" He asked. "Yes she and I must," she said. "Oh," he said. "But I do not want to, I will probably kill my self over this," she said. "We have a daughter thou must care for. Promise me you will not kill thine self over losing me," he said. "I promise," she said. Celestia soon entered the throne room to banish Sombra. The fierce battle broke out between the royal sisters and the evil king. Celestia was thrown to the floor, and Sombra casted a worst fear spell on her. Luna had to finish him off, eventhough they loved each other, the fight was intense. Both having many injuries in the end. Sombra was lying helplessly on the floor breathing heavily. Luna crawled over yo him and kissed him one last time. Then, they whispered to each other as Celestia rose from the floor. "I will return to you someday my love," he said. "I will be waiting for thee, I love thee," she said. "I love thee too," he said. Celestia and Luna combined their powers and banished the king into the Arctic ice. Luna broke into tears. Celestia hated seeing her sister in so much pain, but they had done what was right. As they walked off the empire disappeared into thin air. Celestia began to weep, they had saved the crystal ponies, but they had also doomed the empire to nonexistence until the day Sombra would return.
