Its Valentines Day at Canterlot High and Rainbow Dash needs to tell Pinkie Pie her true feelings for her
Rainbow Dash has had a crush on Pinkie Pie for a while and wants to confess her love for her, but her nerves are preventing her from doing so. She has to find some way to tell Pinkie without embarrassing herself.
Our story begins and we find Rainbow Dash sitting with her friends Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, and a new friend, Dusk.
Dusk was a newcomer to the school and he already had made friends with most everyone in the school. Dusk's skin was cobalt blue and his hair was jet black and midnight blue. Dusk was a Jr and had just recently started dating. Two days after his arrival Rarity asked him on a date and their relationship is going very well. Dusk was very kind and athletic, he played the guitar, loved playing baseball and worked out on a daily basis.
It was now lunch time and Dusk sat with his friends and his girlfriend.
"Happy Valentines Day everyone." Dusk said smiling.
"Happy Valentines Day to you Dusk." Everyone said happily.
"And happy Valentines Day to you my love." Dusk said to Rarity.
"Happy Valentines Day darling, and I do believe this is for you." Rarity said.
She then handed a valentine to Dusk and then to all of her friends and all her friends soon did the same. Rarity also bought gifts for all her friends.
She gave Applejack a white cowboy hat with a heart pattern engraved in it and a red trim.
She gave Fluttershy a red Valentines Day teddy bear with blue hearts stitched into it.
She gave Pinkie Pie a Valentines Day cake decorating book.
She gave Rainbow Dash a pair of rainbow heart earrings.
And finally she gave Dusk a blue shirt with the words "Man Candy" written in white and pink.
All her friends then smiled and thanked Rarity for her generosity.
Rainbow Dash then looked at Pinkie Pie and said.
"Hey Pinkie, can I talk to you for a minute, alone."
"Sure Dashie." Pinkie Pie said with a smile.
The two walked out of the cafeteria and into the hallway.
"So what's up." Pinkie said.
"Um I... I was wondering i... if um maby you co..." Rainbow Dash stuttered.
Dash then looked around the room trying to think.
Pinkie Pie then developed a look of confusion.
"Come on Dashie spit it out, what do you want to talk to me about?" Pinkie said.
"Never mind, its not important." Dash said.
Rainbow Dash then ran back into the cafeteria.
"Hmm I wonder what that was all about, it was probably nothing." Pinkie said.
Pinkie then walked back into the cafeteria and back down with her friends.
The school day had just ending and Dusk was driving Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Rarity home when Rainbow Dash decided to ask a question.
"Hey Dusk." Rainbow Dash said.
"What's up Dash." Dusk said back.
"How do I tell someone how I really feel about them without them feeling awkward?" Dash asked.
"Why, who do you like?" Applejack said.
"Pinkie Pie." Dash said.
Dusk then slammed on the brakes of his car and he and the others looked at Dash with shock.
"What did you just say!?" Dusk said with shock.
"I just said I like Pinkie Pie, why is there something wrong with that?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Um no, no there isn't, it just seems a bit weird." Fluttershy said.
"I would have to agree with Fluttershy, it isn't everyday we see two people of the same gender walking around holding hands and kissing." Rarity said.
"Especially at school, look Dash no matter what your decision may be we support you all the way, right guys." Dusk said to his friends.
"Right." Everyone said.
"Don't worry Dash it'll be fine, you just gotta throw your nerves out the window and just say how you feel, that's what I did with Dusk." Rarity said with a smile.
"And look how good our relationship is going." Dusk said.
"Thanks guys, you are the best friends a girl like me could ever have." Dash said smiling.
Dusk soon then dropped off Dash at her house and Dash entered the house and started thinking about how to confess tomorrow.
The next day is Valentines Day and love is in the air. We find our friends together at lunch time and Rainbow Dash is more nervous than most everyone in the cafeteria. Rainbow Dash's nerves were skyrocketing and she was afraid to even speak to anybody.
"Are you okay Dashie?" Pinkie asked.
"Yeah." Dash said.
"Oh what am I going to do, if I do tell her she'll laugh at me and we wont be friends anymore, Damn it this is really hard. " Dash thought to herself.
Dusk saw Dash panicking and he decided to help her.
"Dash, I want to talk to you." Dusk said.
"Oh, okay." Dash said.
Dusk and Rainbow Dash then walked out of the cafeteria.
"Are you okay?" Dusk asked.
"No I'm not, I can't do this I just can't." Dash said as she started panicking.
"Yes, you can." Dusk said reassuringly trying to help his friend.
Just then Pinkie Pie showed up and she said.
"Dashie you're not alright, I need to know what's wrong."
Dusk looked at Dash and told her.
"Go on, tell her."
Dash then looked at Pinkie Pie nervously.
"Pinkie Pie, I have a confession to make." Dash said.
"What is it Dashie?" Pinkie said with a look of confusion.
"Well I like you, as more than a friend and I was hoping that maby you would be my valentine this year and hopefully all the rest of the Valentines Days in our life." Dash said.
Pinkie Pie then started to tear up upon hearing this. Pinkie Pie then gave Dash a hug and s kiss on the cheek.
Just then Applejack, Fluttershy, and Rarity walked through the door and they saw Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie hugging and they saw Dash give Pinkie Pie a kiss on her cheek.
"So I take it things went well." Fluttershy whispered to Dusk.
"Yeah, they did." Dusk whispered back as he looked at Pinkie and Dash.
