Every week or so ponies have been missing at a periodic rate. Only to be appearing the next week found dead.

I am that one guy to spark a revolution! Pony mystery fan fics! :pinkiecrazy: This is my first attempt to write a pony fan fic; and anything that has to do with ponies. Just something to see if i'm a capable writer.

MINUTES

I was called to the office twenty-seven minutes ago. I couldn't be late. They said I had to be there in an forty-five minutes or so. The place was pretty far away.So I decided to go to the transit instead of the daily carriage. I have raced through the crowd of bustling ponies headed for work, I had to get through. I have been called to go for a recent case- If five months is recent at all. They also faxed me a message. I still kept it in my hand at this moment. Here's here's how it goes;

You have been called for an urgent case. It is necessary mandatory that you are on time. There has been a recent case in which a random selection of ponies have gone missing over a period of time. They have shown up dead two weeks later. These deaths have been reported periodically all over Canterlot and parts of Ponyville. Nine Ponies have been reported to be dead in 5 months time. They are believed to be murdered in the order of reverse spectrum. This has been corrected because the cycle kept on going after Red. Every color may be the true target. What proves this theory was the death of ponies within the colors Gray, Black, and white. The likely colors to be targeted are Pink, Beige, and Brown. You must report to your office to be assigned your tasks.

I stuffed the fax into my coat pocket. Taking a fast stride to the transit area. I came over to platform nine and patiently waited a few minutes for the train to come. I looked over and saw a train's dazzling light heading our platform. When the train had finally come to a stop the doors opened and a white unicorn carried my bags using magic from it's horn. I headed to the front-most seat available and sat down in that spot. I impatiently waited tapping my hooves. I checked my clock and I nearly jumped! The clock had read 6:02 currently. Only ten minutes till' I am due at my office. The train had finally started moving. At last. It felt like nearly an eternity! Five minutes later I had arrived at my destination. I grabbed my bags and came up from the fine leather seat to the door. I pardoned farewell to the unicorn who had picked up my bags.

I quickly galloped to the brick building without haste. I quickly made my way through cubic office areas, walked around walls, and finally to the elevator. I was accompanied by a Turquoise colored Earth Pony and a Jasmine colored Pegasus. I would recognize one of them anywhere. It was Raindrops. I was thinking of greeting her but I would rather not. I might mess up in front of her. So I just made up a question.

"Which floor?" I said. She had depicted that I am obviously making this up.

"5th floor." She replied slowly.

It was an obvious lie. We both work at the same floor. Better yet, two offices away. I felt pretty embarrassed at that. I really shouldn't have said anything at all. I pressed the button labeled 5 which is the one second to the top. The elevator rose up to that floor. Both Ponies have gotten off at that point. I silently waited for them to board off of the elevator. I hesitated a bit then I hit number 6. Which was a square button unlike the previous circular ones. I pressed it which lit it up raising the whole elevator. I silently waited until I felt the familiar jolt that the elevator gave when it came to a stop. I braced myself, then I came into the top floor, nearly alien to this area. I was only up here thrice in the past few months. I settled my grip on my suitcase and tensed. Walking down the corridor. That was until I heard something strange. That was when it hit me, it was the sound of glass breaking. I froze for a second. Just a second. Then I started galloping down the corridor as fast as I possibly could. When I made it about three-quarters through the hallway there was a sound of a door shooting open. Followed by a sharp pain to the side of my head. When it made contact everything blacked out.

There I was, cradling the newborn filly. She was only three months old. I was sitting next to my wife in the dim light. Outside was the full moon shining as if it were the sun coming up into our hearts. In my head I thought nothing could go wrong. Nothing at all. I looked out once again, into the deep blue night sky. It had all faded away.

I wish it was over, over, over. I wish it never happened. I can't do it. I just can't. Make it gone. Erase it. Erase it if you can. I don't know. I don't know who or where or why. If I could erase it. I would.

SECONDS

It hurts. Everywhere. I tried to look at my surroundings. I couldn't see anything at first. When my eyes adjusted it was a horrifying sight. I was bound to the wall behind me. I started panicking and struggling against the wall. Something warm was trickling down my left temple. I know that sensation anywhere. It was blood. There was the red liquid trickling down my head and onto my abdomen. The blood was staining my brown coat as it gone on it's journey to the cold stone floor. I saw something even worse. It was my wife's corpse. Followed by my daughter's.

I puked all over the floor. They died in the fire. Their ashen corpses laid there dead. There was nothing in the room to harm me physically. Yet I felt wounded mentally. I didn't know what to do at all. I just waited. I waited for it to come. I'm waiting to die.

"What do we have here?" A stallion with a stage prop mask that you would see in-front of a premiere of a theatrical performance. The stallion's mask had a smile. I bet by it's tone that there was a smile also underneath. It had a Black coat and was followed by one with the coat of the same color. Instead of the happy expression one the mask, it had a mask with a frown on it. "Time is running out." The first pony said joyfully.

Finally a third one appeared coming out of a hallway. I just noticed it. I mustn't have seen it due to my obscured vision. This time it had a Gray coat with a equally pastel white mask as the others. This time it had a painted goatee and blushing cheeks. It had a joyful expression on the mask and seemed to scare me.

"What is your name?" The third asked.

"Why does it concern you?" I replied slowly.

"Insolence!" It yelled a little louder then I would have thought. "You are here for a performance, of sorts..." She stepped back and pulled a rope which revealed a stage hidden behind red velvet curtains. It was a scene with props made with the coats of Ponies, Griffons, Zebra, and countless other coats that I couldn't recognize.

I was paralyzed at the horrid sight before me. It was a play. Then I saw a sign above. Labeled "Eraser", I wasn't sure of what it meant at first. Then I realized. This was my end.
